- 0:00SPEAKER_00: They're in this case, they don't change nothing.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: They get up, they answer the phone.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: God knows how many other people grab that phone, then they come back, and then you're in they're in your cuticles and your feet and you get infections.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: However, don't let it do everything that you're not MX that you're not willing to do yourself.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Don't get so far away letting it do all of these things.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: You actually forget how to do these things.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: We've already faced this a few times.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: We faced this from with a Thomas guide to TomTom.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I guess it was TomTom.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: The the mobile the mobile thing.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: We went from paper maps, laminated paper maps, if you had the high dollar version of the Thomas Guide here in Southern California.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Or an Atlas.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Atlas?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Atlas.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: An interstate book, all 50 states, all 50 states in a book.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: My dad had one.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Whenever we would drive to Kansas, my guide, he was on the floor and we were routing it out.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Not like Clark W.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Griswold, though, in uh Christmas, no, Christmas Vacation.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Wally World.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Anyway, not unlike in vacation, but you know, dad was real serious about this whole thing.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And his whole issue was the turnpike in Oklahoma.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Apparently that's a problem.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: I was a kid.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So all I knew was the cussing and the cigarette smoke all the way to Kansas in the car with a window crack like this the whole way.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: But that was when we grew up.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: We're Gen X.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Thank you very much.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Dad.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Miss you every day.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: So we moved from Matt to the TomTom.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: We went from memorizing phone numbers.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: When you were a kid, right?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: At least when I was a kid, we didn't have answer machines at the beginning.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: It took a while.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Then they built the technology and then we got answer machines.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Then we got call waiting set up, which I thought was kind of neat.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: But dad was still pissed off when you were on the phone because he was expecting a call.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times at the very beginning, with call waiting, you'd go to push the button, the receiver, just once real quick to have the other call come in so you could talk to it and maybe hold a little bit too long or some glitch in the system, so it ended up disconnecting both calls.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And if that one call dad was expecting, you wanted to go hide at the neighbor's house because that was going to be a problem.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: So this became a problem.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: So what we did is back then it went from the answer machine, it went to answer machine and call waiting, then the phone company itself.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: These were Pacific Bell, Mountain Bell, Central Bell.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Forgot what it was on the east.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: This is all ATT stuff.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, you saw that transition to cellular phones.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Now we don't memorize any phone numbers.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: I have a couple in my my brain bucket here.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I have the one I grew up with, and I have a couple others I don't call anymore.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, the current the current one person in my life, and that's where that is, and plus my own, of course.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Well, a couple different ones for the businesses I run.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: So we're losing that connection when you start working with AI.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: If you start working with these automated systems like Grogbot, and you know, messing around with that and Muse and these, you give it, you give it a little bit of uh connected, right?
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: You get you connect it to your email, connect it to your calendar.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Be weary.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: I've had uh I've had both Claude and both Chat GBT send out emails after I've given them explicit instructions not to send out emails.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Now, we're doing client work for different automations as a freelancer.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: I'm putting together for clients with AI and not AI, and you'd be surprised what stuff you don't need AI for.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: AI is when it's other than a binary yes or no uh input decision with something that has to track after that.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: AI is more uh a system that you need, you you need either a more difficult decision answered or something that has a lot of moving parts, or the system itself has to create some kind of a judgment around a situation that's proposed in a call as it's listening to somebody talk, and then that's where the AI system gets dialed in so it's able to answer that question properly.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: If you want to learn how to do all that stuff, you can book time with me.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: I'm more than happy to at least tell you what I have.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Whenever people are selling you stuff online, they're saying they're saying all you gotta do is uh all you gotta do is go ahead and buy my book or you know, register for my webinar and this and that.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: It's a lot of that stuff is horse poop.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: I think TikTok gets mad when I cuss, I'm not gonna cuss.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: But again, it's it's not it's not real.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Don't go wasting your time.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: If you have free versions of something and you're interested in this, just ask it.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Say, listen, I saw this video on Instagram.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: This is the title, this is the link.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Are you able to see it?
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: In some cases, yes, some cases no.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: And say, is this real or is it not real?
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Most of this stuff comes from application execution.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: So if you're willing to pick up the phone and cold call people in reference to whatever problem you're solving, and that's the key, you want to solve a problem.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: You want to find problems that exist.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And this is the beautiful thing, kind of, about where we are with this intelligence layer so far.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: I was a cop for a long time, so maybe there were things in the police world that I saw as a problem back then.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: They might not even be there today, because you know, that stuff changes all the time.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: But maybe there's a problem a current cop sees, and a current cop might have in their warehouse now where they might not have had it even a month ago, the ability to provide a solution to that problem and sell it and monetize it.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: You worked at a dental office for a long time.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: You worked at a doctor's office, you're a dental hygienist, and the dental hygienist is one of them, I like the way I say that, but you're one of those, and in some cases, well, maybe, maybe a dental hygienist is going to need a particular skill set, and they'll be able to see a particular problem that exists in that world, and then you solve it with the AI, and then you sell it.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: And if you don't know how to do any of this, you just ask it.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm a dental hygienist, and uh, we we have this here's one for you.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Uh you go get your petty or manny, and you have the person that's working at the patty at Patty and Metty the manicurist, the phone rings, and they don't have staff.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: So uh and don't don't give me the look like, where do you really go get your stuff done?
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Because I don't, but anyway, maybe maybe I do.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: It's none of your business.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: But what ends up happening is they'll get up and they'll go answer the phone.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: They don't change their gloves.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: They're not like a good tattooist.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: A good tattooist will go and they'll change their gloves and come back, go on a smoke break or shoot whatever they shoot and then come back later.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: In this case, they don't change nothing.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: They get up, they answer the phone.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: God knows how many other people grab that phone, then they come back, and then you're in they're in your cuticles and your feet, and you get infections.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: So that's a problem that exists.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: So you can train the staff, but instead of training the staff, just remove the thing that they have to answer the phone.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: So you walk into that business with something like higher AI voice, and you say, Listen, I can fix your problem.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: When people call in, I don't care what they're speaking, what language they're speaking, it'll speak every language out there.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: I can use 11 labs, it'll answer the phone, it'll route them to whatever person they want to work with, and if it'll allow the right time, because you've already given me how long it takes to do this, how long it takes to do a fill, how long it takes to do gel, how long it takes to whatever else they do it, and don't look at me like that.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: But it's already baked into it, so then they book appointments on people they know's calendar, because they have the system, the AI system itself has the access, or then it books on if they're if they're a nobody or don't know anybody, never been there before, new from out of town, then it'll book on another the next available up calendar, so it kind of round robins to people.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And if the owner likes somebody in particular because they're doing special favors for them, well then it can send all the leads to that person, and that person gets everything.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: So it's however the owner wants to set it up, but that's there's the solution, right?
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: You got a problem, a hygienic thing, and behind that problem could be a lot of lawsuits.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: All you gotta do, everybody's got the phone.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: You just film the film the lady getting up or the guy getting up from working on your toes, going over here to the phone.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Hey, uh, it's it's uh it's the toe place.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, you need appointment, yeah.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: And then they they're touching the pencil and the paper and maybe you know, rubbing their face or whatever, and then after they get all done, they come back and nothing changes.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Gloves, boom, we're right back in it, right back in your cuticles, and you get the problem.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: So that film, you get the infection.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's lots of lawsuits.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: That's a business destroying lawsuit.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: So why not fix the problem?
