- 0:02I Jake valentia. Thanks for listening to the
- 0:05slippery slope so you know it's only been a couple of years ago
- 0:09that we this topics out now that only a come start this again.
- 0:15Hi, I'm Jacob Allen. Thank you for listening to the
- 0:18slippery slope. So, you know what?
- 0:20There's only been a few years that have gone by when subjects
- 0:25that we talk about. Now that we see in our news,
- 0:28news for streams and you think, you know, a few years ago we
- 0:32would never have even discuss this, this wouldn't even be an
- 0:35item 1A news I myself, is sit there going.
- 0:40Where is the world going to? As a bible-believing Christian,
- 0:45I think the Bible explains where the world is going to.
- 0:49And yet it's still interesting to me to see some of the
- 0:52craziness that's discussed. I'm going to discuss today.
- 0:56This story that came that came up and it's about Aretha
- 1:01Franklin's song Natural Woman being well.
- 1:09Being canceled. It's the it's the strangest
- 1:13thing. The strangest thing.
- 1:14He'll bring the story up here. We can have a look at it
- 1:16together. This is all over the news this
- 1:21morning. Anyway, but this headline here
- 1:24says Now, read the Franklin song.
- 1:26Natural Woman is deemed offensive to Trend women, who
- 1:31are obviously we all realize trans when that but when they
- 1:34say trans women their men pretending to be women.
- 1:38So outraged, as activists demand song is removed from Spotify and
- 1:43apple music. Now, it looks as a musician
- 1:46myself a play, do bit of Or work like onto stuff Aretha.
- 1:52Franklin, fantastic voice. You know, one of those voices,
- 1:56you sit there going. Wow.
- 1:57If only, I could sing like that and write songs a like that,
- 2:03it's just amazing. And the think that that song,
- 2:06which was, I think released in 1967, you know, before my time.
- 2:11But, you know, just generational multi-generational.
- 2:16All these years later over 50 years later and it still such a
- 2:20great song to listen to any. I keep going on with this.
- 2:22So so this song sung by Aretha, Franklin's being bashed, by
- 2:29lgbtq critics, as offensive with one organization, in particular,
- 2:33saying the June helps perpetuate harmful anti-trans stereotypes.
- 2:39Now, you know, the main reason why groups come out now and say
- 2:42that these things are harmful is because They can't handle
- 2:47hearing the truth. That's the issue, the whole
- 2:50issue boils down to, you know, you have natural born, women
- 2:54natural-born men, people who run around pretending that they are
- 2:59what they're not. Don't want to be reminded of the
- 3:01truth. And this is this is where it all
- 3:04boils down to anyway. So it's released as a single by
- 3:07the late queen of soul. It says back in 67, the stirring
- 3:10love. Ballad is now facing scrutiny.
- 3:13Despite preaching Positive messages in regards, to women,
- 3:17and femininity in general. So apparently leading the charge
- 3:22to have the song. Next is the Norway based
- 3:24transcultural mindfulness Alliance.
- 3:29Can you say that with a straight face?
- 3:31I don't think so TCM a, which is a group started this year.
- 3:35So group started this year 2023 want to cancel or song released
- 3:40in 1967 makes a lot of sense, blah, blah blah.
- 3:44So, A made his presence known with the series of polarizing
- 3:48posts on social media. Now, look, I was reading a bit
- 3:52about this group. I actually think this might be a
- 3:54parody accounts. I think they might be taking.
- 3:58Yeah, making a bit of fun but, you know, they keep, I don't
- 4:02know, it's hard to tell personally, I think it is, but
- 4:05they keep putting out other stuff saying?
- 4:06No, no. It's, you know, this is real,
- 4:08this is what we're all about but you know, so here's the actual
- 4:12tweet that they put down this TCM Ma Aretha Franklin's 1968.
- 4:17I think it was only 67. Not not 68 Natural Woman
- 4:21perpetuates multiple harmful anti-trans stereotypes.
- 4:25There is no such thing as a natural woman.
- 4:28Now list as I said the whole issue here is There Is Only
- 4:34Natural Woman, you know, you're born with chromosomes that
- 4:38decide whether you're a woman or a man.
- 4:41So, this is just a lie and getting back to what I was
- 4:44saying, you know, is only a few years ago where we would not
- 4:46even be having this conversation because the absolute craziness
- 4:49that we talked about now, people would be sitting to go.
- 4:52Well, this is just ludicrous, it's not true.
- 4:55And why are we, why are we entertaining A Lie now?
- 4:59I personally were entertaining this lie because it's a A
- 5:03spiritual attack. That's that's my personal
- 5:05belief, lead the Bible right? So left for us, very clearly and
- 5:10the the author of confusion is site.
- 5:12And however, you know, we still go on to entertain this kind of
- 5:17delusion and it's crazy and it's ruining ruining our society,
- 5:22don't you think? Anyway, so this post perceived
- 5:24by many, as satire began by asserting, the song is offensive
- 5:29to transgender people, and that there's no such thing as a
- 5:31natural woman. Says that it perpetuates
- 5:35multiple harmful, 80 trillion stereotypes.
- 5:38Now, there was another, there was another see, this is the
- 5:40whole transcultural mindful Alliance, this is their whole
- 5:43Twitter. Twitter page.
- 5:46It was another thing that they put out to about.
- 5:49I'll see if I can scroll to adhere this is, and this is why
- 5:52thinking, maybe it's just a bit of satire.
- 5:53But here it goes, this, this post here that they've written
- 5:57is, says there have been zero, meaningful studies into the
- 6:01gender identity of pets. It seems meaningless.
- 6:04But many children learn Jenna from their pets just because you
- 6:07bring home a gendered pet allow your child to choose the gender
- 6:11of the pet don't assign it. One at will.
- 6:15Like I said, this is why I do think it might be sat, I have a
- 6:18going on. They seem to they seem to double
- 6:20down and say no, no, we're not a satire group, we are legitimate.
- 6:26It says here for clarification the TCM, a is not a parody
- 6:29organization. It red, adding that the
- 6:32organization are a Group of trans individual seeking to make
- 6:35culture more, feared for transgender individuals, they
- 6:39say that we are based in Norway but a seeking to open a chapter
- 6:42in each European country and also North America.
- 6:45The group revealed, this is the craziness about this obviously
- 6:52to any person who doesn't suffer from gender dysphoria, the cat
- 6:56and I don't like to slag off it transgender people too much
- 7:01because I've actually feel very Our for them.
- 7:04I think they are suffering from a mental mental condition of
- 7:08mental illness and they need to be treated for that condition.
- 7:13However, it just does seem absolutely ludicrous to me that
- 7:17our society. As I said, entertains this idea.
- 7:21This thought that's, you know, we can choose our sex, you know,
- 7:26he just because we were born a man and you know how dare you
- 7:29had their you choose the sex for your baby when they were born.
- 7:34It's not like you can look down at their genitals and go on.
- 7:36It's a boy or it's a girl or, you know, you can have tests
- 7:40done, if maybe things are aren't that.
- 7:42Clear. And yet we entertained this
- 7:44delusion and we go along with it.
- 7:47In, with really, the issue is people who suffer from a mental
- 7:52disorder, are encouraged to continue in that mental
- 7:55disorder. When it comes to, when it comes
- 7:59to little blogs, Twitter posts like this and groups like this,
- 8:04a couple of years ago, we would have said, don't have course,
- 8:05this is parity cause this is just someone Making fun.
- 8:11You know, for an Australian that's slang, you're taking the
- 8:15taking the piss out of someone. But, you know, in reality it's
- 8:19with today's culture, we can't say that anymore.
- 8:21We don't know because these kinds of people is kinds of
- 8:24groups are entertained, as being reality.
- 8:29Hey, that's just my opinion. Let me know what you think.
- 8:31I think I've done a, you know, I think we were in a time of
- 8:36confusion. We're living in a Land of
- 8:37Confusion, this whole World has been dragged into a Time Of
- 8:40Confusion. And we were told by so-called
- 8:43experts, we have to entertain this delusion.
- 8:48Let me know what you think. I don't think I mean reatha
- 8:51Franklin. Really.
- 8:52Can we cancel a retha Franklin? No way.
- 8:55No way Jose. That's just my opinion.
- 8:58Let me know what you think. Thank you for listening to the
- 9:01slippery slope. Let me know what you think.
- 8:50I don't think I mean reatha Franklin.
- 8:52Really. Can we cancel a retha Franklin?
- 8:54No way. No way Jose.
- 8:57That's just my opinion. Let me know what you think.
- 9:00Thank you for listening to the slippery slope.
