- 0:00So what if this challenge is happening because the cosmos wants to give a gift through your spirit that can only be unlocked through this challenge?
- 0:07Oh, there it is.
- 0:09Okay, there it is.
- 0:19Hello Divine Soul, welcome or welcome back to The Soul Salon.
- 0:24Today we are going to be talking about a challenge that you are facing in this moment of your life and what I believe a deeper understanding of the challenges and setbacks and obstacles that we go through, the heartbreaks that we go through in this lifetime, what the cosmic perspective on that could be as an invitation, as an offering to your spirit from my soul to yours.
- 0:46Welcome to The Soul Salon.
- 0:47So if this has found you, you are going through some sort of heartbreak or challenge in this moment of your life.
- 0:54It could be related to your health, to your well-being, to your mental or physical or spiritual energetic body, to any aspect of your life that is feeling constrained or limited, a relationship associated.
- 1:07financial hardship, something that is really testing you.
- 1:10And you're thinking to yourself, why is this happening?
- 1:13You know, why is this happening?
- 1:15And you are reminding yourself, you are telling yourself that this is not happening to you.
- 1:20This is happening for you.
- 1:22This is happening through you.
- 1:24This is happening as you.
- 1:25You are saying the mantras, the affirmations.
- 1:28You are trying to call yourself into a more empowered narrative that you have the power to co-create with life and not only be victimized by your circumstances.
- 1:39At the same time, as someone who is open-hearted, this is a very challenging and difficult time or moment for you.
- 1:46And you are trying to hold it with wisdom, with love and with compassion, but it gets very challenging.
- 1:51So for me, this has been an experience that I've gone through with a vocal difficulty that I've had for a year and a half now, where it just really hurts to speak.
- 2:00The thing that I love, the thing that I enjoy most, the thing that I enjoy,
- 2:04feel so attached to identity-wise has been sweeped from under me like a rug.
- 2:10This thing that I could rely on is like something that I express through and with, something that I dance with, something that I express my purpose through has been destabilized.
- 2:22You know, like the ground beneath my feet that I took for granted has been shifted.
- 2:27And I'm,
- 2:29This whole process of going through this journey with acid reflux and with vocal hoarseness and dryness and tension and struggling to speak, struggling to have conversations with my best friend, with people in my life, like not being able to have certain phone calls and having relationships be affected by my inability to really show up in that capacity of voice, of vocalizing, has been extremely heartbreaking to me and very...
- 2:54Just like earth shattering, because it's like, who am I without this thing that I thought I was?
- 2:59I thought I was my voice.
- 3:00I thought I was my ability to speak and connect and converse.
- 3:03I thought that was my purpose in this lifetime.
- 3:05I thought that that was who I am.
- 3:07But like spirit will do and the universe will do, the foundations of what we thought we were and had to be are often invited to shift and change so that we can change.
- 3:19come to a deeper understanding of actually how much more expansive we are than this thing that we were attached to understanding ourselves as.
- 3:26So I feel like there's this heartbreak of life that we all go through in many different ways.
- 3:31You know, we all go through loss.
- 3:33We all go through grief.
- 3:34We all go through...
- 3:36just such difficulty in this lifetime.
- 3:38But what I want to invite you into is that this challenge happening to you is music that is trying to be created through you.
- 3:48And as artists, as creators, as people who are here to co-create with the universe, with source, with the divine, it's so important to tap into music.
- 3:58a surrendered understanding of what we are here to do on earth.
- 4:01What this means is that we may think we know why we came to earth.
- 4:06I may think I came to earth to speak.
- 4:08I may think I found my purpose, quote unquote, but there's always a higher cosmic music that is seeking to be expressed through us that will often invite us to let go of what we thought had to happen.
- 4:19So I'm sort of going through this experience in my own journey where I'm like, maybe my attachment to speaking is,
- 4:28is being invited to soften into allowing other forms of expression to come through me.
- 4:35So I've been singing, I'm making my first song.
- 4:37Very exciting, very vulnerable, very beautiful, very wondrous.
- 4:41And I do wonder...
- 4:43If I hadn't gone through this vocal journey, would it have clarified?
- 4:47Would I have experienced the clarity of knowing exactly what I want to use my voice for and what I may be willing to let go of?
- 4:55You know, even as I'm speaking to you now, I'm like in pain.
- 4:58Not like that's the thing.
- 4:59It's like a mild pain.
- 5:00It's a pain that I can...
- 5:02co-create with, I can be okay with.
- 5:05But it does make me think like, is this what I want to be doing?
- 5:08You know, I am going through this sort of questioning, which we'll always be doing as people who are tapped in.
- 5:13Like we're questioning everything we thought we knew, everything we thought we wanted to do.
- 5:18it's a question.
- 5:19It's a question of like, is this actually, you know, what I want to do?
- 5:22And it doesn't have to be so final, like, do I want to do this or no?
- 5:25But at what degree do I want to do this?
- 5:27You know, like I thought I would create a session like this every week.
- 5:31Maybe I'm going to create it every month.
- 5:33Maybe I'm going to create it every other week.
- 5:34What do I actually want to this experience and what is being wanted through me?
- 5:39So the cosmic music, this is a really exciting idea, babes.
- 5:42It's basically the understanding that,
- 5:45You know, when you hear music, there is a natural response, there's a call and response in music.
- 5:51And if we think of it from a cosmic perspective, everything is frequency, right?
- 5:57Everything is energy.
- 5:58So if this challenge is happening, it could be that there is something that the cosmos wants to evoke through your spirit through this happening.
- 6:07So it's almost as though the one note is sung and that note to us is devastating.
- 6:13It's heartbreaking.
- 6:13It's awful.
- 6:14Why did this have to happen?
- 6:15But through surrendering to that note, we then create the music of our soul, of our spirit.
- 6:22So an example of this to just ground this more tactically is when people give speeches that are inspiring, what do they often say?
- 6:29It's often about a challenge that they went through that they would never have chosen for themselves, but they then alchemized into service.
- 6:37into impact.
- 6:38And so as they go through this adventure, this journey, this, you know, hero's journey or whatever we may call it, they find a way to be of deeper service to the collective.
- 6:50So by them having their heart broken, they become of deeper service to other people.
- 6:56So we see people creating organizations, nonprofits, businesses, organizations,
- 7:01creating music, creating films, movies, books that are a result.
- 7:10I don't want to use the word product, but they are created through the challenge that this person went through.
- 7:17So a lot of people will then think, oh, well, that challenge then helped them reach their own potential.
- 7:22That's the understanding of a hero's journey.
- 7:23It's about the hero.
- 7:25But if we shift this to a collective understanding, that person perhaps...
- 7:29needed to go through that in order to be of deeper service to the greater whole.
- 7:34Now, this isn't to like justify suffering or say like, oh, you have to suffer to be of service.
- 7:38You can be of service in many ways.
- 7:40What we find, though, is that there's always a creative possibility, always, in every moment.
- 7:46There is a possibility to create through that moment, with that moment, in that moment.
- 7:51But we tend to be listening more carefully when we are in pain.
- 7:56So that's why we often think we have to suffer to create art.
- 7:59It's not true, but it's just that we tend to be more sensitive, more open when we are going through heartbreak.
- 8:07We tend to have this urgency to listen to our creative voice and to create with it.
- 8:14It's like we're overflowing with emotion and the emotion has to find a page or a canvas or a storyboard.
- 8:22Or a video camera, okay?
- 8:24It has to come out because we're so full of it that it wants to be expressed.
- 8:28But that expression is always there.
- 8:29It's just, are we listening?
- 8:31So I think in this understanding of like challenge, of heartbreak,
- 8:38of this deep disappointment and devastation that we go through in life, when we see, okay, if I zoom out, how will this event invite me to be of service to my community?
- 8:49We often find when people go through something really heartbreaking, there is a tendency because as humans, we want to help.
- 8:57It is part of our human nature to help each other.
- 9:00We've been sold a story by people.
- 9:02white supremacy, colonialism, patriarchy, that we are inherently selfish by capitalism, that we're inherently selfish.
- 9:09We're inherently out for our own good, but we know that we would not be here had it not been for the ways we help each other.
- 9:16Our nature to be of service to one another when someone injures themselves to support them, when someone can't walk to be what they lean on, when someone needs a hand to be that hand.
- 9:28We do have that in our nature as well, collaboration.
- 9:32Support, mutual thriving, mutual effort, mutual support.
- 9:37That is part of our human nature.
- 9:39That's part of our nature as a species.
- 9:41That's part of nature's nature is support.
- 9:43The trees under the root systems are all supporting each other.
- 9:47It's not one tree on its own.
- 9:49They're connected.
- 9:50They're sending information, nutrient support to one another.
- 9:56I once read in this book, what was it called?
- 9:58The Hidden Life of Trees, that, for example, if there's a predator that's eating the leaves of one tree, that tree will send information through the root system to the other trees, which will actually...
- 10:12invite those trees to make a substance that makes their leaves more like poisonous or toxic to the, to those like giraffes or whatever's eating the leaves.
- 10:23So they're sending information to each other to protect each other.
- 10:26And in that book, the author calls it the wood wide web that we think by
- 10:31the internet we've created this interconnected system for the first time but nature is the ultimate interconnected web of information of sharing of support of nutrients of nourishment of being together you know and supporting together so
- 10:48We know that we're all tapped into one another, just like the trees are.
- 10:51We know that we are one.
- 10:52You know, there's a oneness in us.
- 10:53There's a resonance in us.
- 10:54There's a desire to support.
- 10:56And so we have this human nature to support.
- 10:58So when we go through something horrendous, devastating, we have the desire to
- 11:04to support other people who may go through the same.
- 11:06We often hear people say, I never wanted anyone to go through that again, or I knew there was a better way.
- 11:12So when we go through something intimately horrible, it evokes within us this mothering, nurturing energy of wanting to be the medicine to that pain in the world.
- 11:28We create a song that,
- 11:31of the heartbreak we're going through so that that song can be of meaning, of service, of resonance to someone else.
- 11:40Now, it's not so that in that like when we write the song, we're like, oh, we want this to help others.
- 11:45But there's a natural tendency to create something that will be of service to someone else.
- 11:53So you go through...
- 11:56A horrible breakup.
- 11:57Horrible, horrible, horrible.
- 11:58And then you find through that what are the books that supported you?
- 12:02What are the poems that supported you?
- 12:03And what is your impulse?
- 12:04Is it just to keep those poems to yourself?
- 12:06No, suddenly you want people to hear those poems or those songs.
- 12:09You create a playlist maybe and you share it with a friend.
- 12:12Or you read a poem and you're like, everyone needs to read this poem.
- 12:15Or you watch a film and you have this desire to share the film with the world.
- 12:20with your community, with your friends.
- 12:22You read an essay, you send it to someone.
- 12:24What happens when you read something that moves you?
- 12:26You hit that share button when you see the tweet or the TikTok.
- 12:29You hit that share button because we have a tendency to want to give to each other.
- 12:33So what if this challenge is happening because the cosmos wants to give a gift through your spirit that can only be unlocked through this challenge?
- 12:40Oh, there it is.
- 12:42Okay, there it is.
- 12:43So we know the spiritual teacher Michael Beckwith talks about how there is a specific kind of pine tree.
- 12:52where the seed of that tree lies dormant.
- 12:55So it's not unlocked.
- 12:57It doesn't become anything in the soil for decades, 50, 60 years in the soil.
- 13:02It's just a seed.
- 13:03So we know that that pine tree can become a source of nourishment, a source of memory because trees hold memory and trees create memory.
- 13:11We sit under the tree.
- 13:13We look at the tree.
- 13:14We're creating memory with the tree.
- 13:16So we know this is true.
- 13:17But for 60 years, the seed is just lying there.
- 13:21Until there is a fire.
- 13:24When a fire happens, a wildfire happens, a forest fire happens, that seed, there's so much pressure on the seed, force on the seed, that the seed's potential is unlocked and the pine tree seed then sprouts and then it can become its fullest potential, which is a pine tree.
- 13:43Now, sending so much love to all the devastation happening in the world, the ecological collapse.
- 13:47This is why we need people like you to step into their purpose, their power, their calling, their love, their heart.
- 13:54So that we can create the new earth that is seeking to rise through us.
- 13:58An earth in alignment with the values we wish to see, the values we wish to nurture, love, healing, connection, oneness, mutual thriving.
- 14:10Instead of supremacy, hierarchy, abuse, collapse, trauma, pain.
- 14:16We'll always experience pain in a life, but there's so much unnecessary and systemic and supremacist and violent pain that does not need to exist.
- 14:24Okay, so the seed's power is unlocked by the fire.
- 14:32That seed then becomes the tree that the community needed.
- 14:35That is the metaphor we are using for what's happening in your life at this moment.
- 14:40So we didn't want the devastating heartbreak.
- 14:42We didn't want the being fired from your job.
- 14:45We didn't want the feelings of scarcity or feeling like you're not making ends meet.
- 14:50We didn't want those things.
- 14:51Why is this happening to me?
- 14:53Feeling like your body, things are happening that you're grieving.
- 14:57Why did this have to happen?
- 14:58You're asking yourself.
- 14:59But what if that is the forest fire that is unlocking what is always trying to blossom through you?
- 15:06That when you finally say, I can't,
- 15:09Wait one more day to be the person I know who I am.
- 15:13So you write the book of your dreams and you just show up and you start writing.
- 15:16Something happens and we hear the story again and again and again, this archetype of a story where someone goes through something heartbreaking that they never would have chosen.
- 15:26And through alchemizing it, it's not only that they then unlock their own potential or reach their dreams or achieve their desires.
- 15:34That's beautiful.
- 15:35But in a grander scheme, they become someone who is of service to more people.
- 15:39They write a memoir that changes the lives of people in their community.
- 15:44They write a screenplay.
- 15:47And the movie touches on a topic in a way that creates representation for a specific community of people.
- 15:54They become a greater medicine.
- 15:56But they needed to almost be taken to that edge in order to expand their capacity to be that medicine.
- 16:02Right?
- 16:03So if we think about it in terms of music, we know that music evokes, you know, you hear a song and it evokes memory.
- 16:09It evokes, it transports you.
- 16:11It takes you back.
- 16:12It takes you forward.
- 16:13You're dreaming of the future or you're thinking of a past memory where you first heard the song.
- 16:17Music is a time travel device.
- 16:19Music is also medicine.
- 16:21You feel all alone and then a singer or even a sound healer or someone creates a frequency that makes you, I can never say that word, a frequency that makes you feel less alone.
- 16:32you reach for that song in the darkness and it is your light.
- 16:37That song then evokes something in you that maybe invites you to write a poem or text someone in your life or just sit with yourself and breathe.
- 16:47So if the cosmos is trying to make music through your spirit, know that it might ask you or ask of you to go through something
- 17:01Life alteringly heartbreaking.
- 17:03First, I'm going to tell you a story.
- 17:05I was sitting in a park in London where I've recently moved with my best friend, Alex.
- 17:10We have moved here and I was sitting in a park and I was writing a song.
- 17:17And the song is a very sad song.
- 17:20And there's this one verse that is crazy.
- 17:22And like, I love it so much.
- 17:24So I'm writing this song.
- 17:26And the song is about silence in a relationship.
- 17:30When there's, it starts with saying, there's a mountain of silence between us.
- 17:34So there's this feeling that someone is next to you, but there's so much distance between you and so much silence, so much unspoken, so much unsaid that is between you.
- 17:44So that's the song.
- 17:46And there's a verse in the song that is about how close you used to be to someone.
- 17:52And it makes me cry.
- 17:54I'm like crying.
- 17:55So now I'm sitting in the park and I'm crying.
- 17:57Next to me, there are these two wonderful women.
- 18:00They are taking photos of each other.
- 18:02They're in this lemon, yellow, beautiful hijab.
- 18:05They look phenomenal.
- 18:06They look East African.
- 18:08I mean, and they then confirmed that they were.
- 18:11And they're taking these photos of each other.
- 18:13I think one of them was East African.
- 18:14One of them was maybe like...
- 18:16from the Caribbean I can't remember but they were taking photos of each other and just supporting each other okay so they come up to me so the one so I'm sobbing writing this song because I'm like oh my god this is so sad like and I thought of a specific person who I was thinking of and I was like we used to be so close and now we're not close and it's just so sad so sad
- 18:34Um, and it's like making me cry.
- 18:36I'm like crying about like this unlived life with this person of like how close that we could have been that we never ended up being.
- 18:44And it's a, it's a friendship kind of breakup, but not breakup.
- 18:46Like that sort of ambiguous territory that friendship goes to where you're like in each other's lives, but just not in the same way you used to, but you never talk about how you used to be extremely close and now you're just not, um, tragic, heartbreaking.
- 18:59So I'm crying and I'm crying.
- 19:00I'm going through my artist moment.
- 19:04And then one of the girls comes up to me.
- 19:07And I look up and she's looking at me.
- 19:09She's like, Miss, Miss, are you all right?
- 19:13I'm like, yes, I'm OK.
- 19:14I'm OK.
- 19:15I'm OK.
- 19:15I'm writing a song and it's just really sad.
- 19:18And she goes, you're writing a song?
- 19:20Oh, she turns to a friend.
- 19:22Oh, she's just writing a song.
- 19:23She's just writing a song.
- 19:25She's fine.
- 19:26She's fine.
- 19:26She's writing a song.
- 19:27Pardon my bad accent.
- 19:29Actually, take the bad accent.
- 19:31She's just writing a song.
- 19:32She's writing a song.
- 19:32She's OK.
- 19:34And she's kind of like flippant about it.
- 19:35She's like, it's just a song.
- 19:37And I found this such an interesting moment because I'm like, all these sad songs we all listen to, like the artist, that is their pain.
- 19:44Like they actually felt those things.
- 19:45They actually went through those things.
- 19:47Even if they're not the songwriter, to sing it in a way that you're feeling the lyrics, the way that they're feeling them.
- 19:54I've been loving the song I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston lately.
- 19:56And I mean, the emotion in that song, the things artists go through to create what we create is,
- 20:02It's not just a song.
- 20:03You know what I mean?
- 20:04She's just writing a song as though like if something else had happened, that would be more justified.
- 20:08Now, so much love to these people.
- 20:10There's a version of me who would have reacted exactly the way they did.
- 20:13It's all divine.
- 20:13It happened exactly what I was meant to.
- 20:14I'm not judging them.
- 20:16I'm sort of calling in this perspective that there was a deeper music that the cosmos was trying to make through me.
- 20:27And I had to go through that suffering, that loss, that grief in order to channel that emotion into the song.
- 20:33So that's a more literal example of the call was the experience of going through this friendship heartbreak.
- 20:40And then also all the silence and everything that I am channeling by like writing, like experiences I've had in conflict, experiences I've had, you know, in family, like this feeling of silence that feels thick as a mountain, big as a mountain, so unspoken, like that feeling.
- 20:56That was the call and the response.
- 20:58is now the song.
- 20:59So life will do that.
- 21:01Life will have you go through an experience so that you can make music out of it, but also so that it can make music out of you.
- 21:07Because there's something that we don't even think about.
- 21:10Music that gets made through us without us even being like, I want to make music today.
- 21:15It comes through our spirit and soul.
- 21:16So that's what you may be going through.
- 21:18Trust a deep unfolding.
- 21:20Trust a deeper song trying to be sung through your soul.
- 21:25A deeper song trying to be sung through your soul.
- 21:28I'm going to say that again three times.
- 21:31Trust that a deeper song is trying to be sung through your soul.
- 21:35Trust that there is music that your spirit wants to make through this event.
- 21:40And trust that it's not only about your self-actualization, but the collective freedom that is unlocked through your going through this event.
- 21:49The collective wisdom that we get to gather through you gathering the wisdom of this.
- 21:54The collective love we get to feel through you alchemizing this pain into love and light.
- 22:00So I'm sending so much love to you.
- 22:01I hope that you travel softly through this experience.
- 22:05Experience the being open to let life break your heart.
- 22:14I had this reminder to myself, which was like, let your art break your heart.
- 22:19So there is the illusionary perfect version of how you think of the illusionary perfect version of creating that dream album, song, book, idea, YouTube channel.
- 22:31I hear so many people want to start a YouTube channel.
- 22:32It's in their mind.
- 22:33It's like this perfect experience.
- 22:35And then there's the reality, messy, mundane, boring, beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, freeing,
- 22:42Flowing and also not everyday flowing, not everyday freeing, not everyday gorgeous, right?
- 22:47Tedious sometimes.
- 22:48Confusing other times.
- 22:50Polarity.
- 22:51Law of polarity.
- 22:51I have a whole live training, free training.
- 22:54You can get it at the Soul Salon Collective below.
- 22:57A free portal live recording that I did.
- 23:01So there's this gap between how we think it's supposed to feel and how it actually feels.
- 23:05This is true of relationships as well, romantic relationships.
- 23:08This is how it's supposed to be.
- 23:09This is what's in front of me.
- 23:10What will we do with that gap, with that conversation between those two?
- 23:14So if we can allow our art to break our heart, meaning I had this dream idea for a podcast.
- 23:23Then I sat down and I recorded it and I didn't like it, for example.
- 23:28Or I felt I wasn't good enough.
- 23:29Or I said, um, all the time and I'm devastated.
- 23:31I'm not as good as I thought I could be.
- 23:33Perfectionism, inner critic.
- 23:36But can you allow that heartbreak to be and create through it?
- 23:40If we allow life to break our heart, like heartbreak is a part of living.
- 23:46Everyone you love, you will grieve.
- 23:50Everyone you love will bring some sort of heartbreak into your life.
- 23:55Even as they're there right in front of you, there'll be a way that we devastate each other.
- 23:59Can we stay open?
- 24:01And not shut down and not say, I'll never love again.
- 24:04I'll never create again.
- 24:05I'll never hope so much again.
- 24:07How many of us do that in love?
- 24:09We've been hurt so many times that we're like, oh, I'm just going to.
- 24:12Expect the worst.
- 24:13No, let's stay open.
- 24:15Let's stay open.
- 24:15Let's stay open.
- 24:16And trust that us opening is the portal for a greater opening.
- 24:20Okay?
- 24:20Okay?
- 24:21Okay?
- 24:22Us staying open is a portal for a greater collective opening.
- 24:27When we stay open to life, so much gets to be born and experienced and felt through us.
- 24:33Because an open poet, that's what we want, right?
- 24:36That is kind of the definition of a poet is they're open.
- 24:38Okay?
- 24:39to existence, to the world.
- 24:40They're open to language, to love.
- 24:43They're open to expression, to truth.
- 24:46We don't want a poet who's shut down.
- 24:48You know, we want a poet who's open, who doesn't pretend it didn't hurt when they didn't feel heard by their partner.
- 24:54We want the poet who feels hurt by their partner when they don't feel that they're listening.
- 24:57I heard this guy on this bus yesterday.
- 24:59He's like, you're not listening to me.
- 25:00You're not listening to me.
- 25:01The thing is, if I'm being honest, you never listen.
- 25:04I thought that was such a great line.
- 25:10And my first song, Ghost Town, which I don't know when it's coming out.
- 25:14Things take the time they take.
- 25:15But that song is coming out.
- 25:17Oh, sorry.
- 25:17But that song is about feeling unseen.
- 25:20And then I was on a bus and that guy said those lines.
- 25:23And I was like, oh, my goodness.
- 25:26And that song is breaking my heart.
- 25:27Let your heart break your heart.
- 25:28Because it's not exactly the process is not exactly the dream illusion process.
- 25:33It's still wonderful, magical, beautiful.
- 25:34But I mean, like having a podcast.
- 25:37Like anything, it's got its polarities and I'm just sitting through it and facing it.
- 25:42Anyways, babes, this is what I felt called to share today.
- 25:45I hope it is of service to you.
- 25:47I hope that you trust that this experience, as devastating as it may be, there's a greater music that is seeking to unfold through it, through you, through us.
- 25:58Because in these moments, we find each other.
- 26:01We reach for each other.
- 26:04When we go through something hard, we tend to make something that is an invitation for someone else to feel experienced and felt through it.
- 26:13By this I mean when we allow life...
- 26:17When we allow ourselves to feel life and then we create through that feeling, often what we create is so resonant with the collective feeling and spirit.
- 26:26So these are the moments where we're actually of greater service to each other.
- 26:28So that's also why we're going to allow our work to be seen so that it can be of service to the person seeing it.
- 26:35Because if you think of yourself as a magical room, but the door is shut and painted over, so no one can tell that it's actually a door with magic inside it, then that magic cannot reach the collective heart and spirit and mind and soul.
- 26:49So we need to trust that you are meant to be an open door that people can walk through with boundaries, with, of course, you should honor what feels in alignment and not.
- 26:59It's not a completely open door.
- 27:01You honor, maybe there's a little gate in front of the door and there's a key to the gate and then there's a door, whatever you feel called to do.
- 27:09You have boundaries with it, but you allow yourself to be open so that people can walk into you, walk into how you see the world, walk into how you feel the world, walk into your ideas, your perspectives, your music, your message, and be experienced through it.
- 27:24As I'm recording this, I'm like, my energy is not like, this could be better, right?
- 27:29But remember, we're choosing connection over perfection.
- 27:32This could connect with someone.
- 27:33This could be medicine to someone.
- 27:35So my only going desire for it to be the fake version in my head of what it was supposed to be, which I need to let go of, drop it and let go of it and be present to what is.
- 27:43This is who I am today.
- 27:44This is how I am today.
- 27:46This is my voice today.
- 27:47This is my message today.
- 27:48And let that be more than enough.
- 27:50Let that be generous.
- 27:52Choose connection over perfection.
- 27:54Honor your medicine.
- 27:56Honor your magic.
- 27:58And remember to choose love over logic.
- 28:00Remember, it doesn't have to make sense, not even to you.
- 28:03You may want to do a million things.
- 28:05You may want to dance, sing, act, be a chef, own a bakery, host events, be a DJ.
- 28:13You may want to do all the things.
- 28:15And to some people, it's not going to make sense.
- 28:17But did you come to earth to make sense?
- 28:19Absolutely not.
- 28:20Okay?
- 28:21You came here to make magic.
- 28:23You came here to make meaning.
- 28:25You came here to be your multidimensional expression of the oneness of everything.
- 28:29Because all those things I just mentioned are connected.
- 28:31It's just we're conditioned to believe in a separate consciousness.
- 28:35So going off on a little bit of a dance, it's not a tangent.
- 28:38It's just like an adventure.
- 28:40Like when you're walking, you don't know you're going to see a bird.
- 28:42It just happens.
- 28:43That's life.
- 28:43It's spontaneous.
- 28:45You know, you don't know that suddenly there's going to be
- 28:50You don't know.
- 28:51It just happens.
- 28:52Just happens.
- 28:53So we allow the happening.
- 28:55I'm sending so much love to you.
- 28:56If this resonated with your spirit, please do leave a comment sharing what was most meaningful to you and offering something that could be of service to other people reading the comments, spreading love, spreading light, being the world we wish to experience and being the world we wish to live within, knowing that we are future ancestors of this earth.
- 29:15Okay, so what will people look to us and be like, oh, my goodness, they made music.
- 29:19They made music that we can experience.
- 29:22They created fruits that we can be nourished by.
- 29:25That's what I'm thinking.
- 29:26You know what I mean?
- 29:26Let it be fruits for the collective spirit.
- 29:29And in that, let us sacrifice our egoic desire to be approved of, to be understood, to be liked, to not be judged.
- 29:36We're okay.
- 29:36It's okay being judged.
- 29:37I have a whole soul session on this.
- 29:39It's okay.
- 29:39Safe.
- 29:40Safe to be judged.
- 29:41All the greats were judged.
- 29:42Everyone is judged.
- 29:44Whether or not we live our truth or not, we'll be judged as the scale, but then also the
- 29:48The polarity of that is that when we allow ourselves to be judged, we also allow ourselves to be loved.
- 29:54Okay.
- 29:55Okay.
- 29:56I was listening to Beyonce's song, I Was Here.
- 29:58What a song.
- 29:59What a gift.
- 30:00And what an example of an artist who has given so much to the collective spirit.
- 30:04Ooh, given so much.
- 30:06And what is her cross to bear?
- 30:08She is judged.
- 30:09You know, there's judgment that is placed on her.
- 30:11And some of that judgment is lovement.
- 30:12People love her.
- 30:13I love her.
- 30:14She is a star.
- 30:15She is a...
- 30:17An icon.
- 30:17She's a legend.
- 30:18That's what she is, Beyonce is.
- 30:21And she's given so much.
- 30:23And you can hear the emotion in the song.
- 30:25I was here.
- 30:26I want to leave my footprints in the sand of time.
- 30:30No, there was something that meant something that I left behind when I leave this earth.
- 30:35I'll have no regrets.
- 30:36Leave something to remember so they won't forget.
- 30:39I was here.
- 30:40I lived.
- 30:40I loved.
- 30:41I was here.
- 30:41And that song, I actually invite you to go listen to that song because I feel like that legacy of I left something for the world.
- 30:47I think everyone on this frequency, we want to give something to people.
- 30:50We want to give.
- 30:51We want to be like, oh, my word, this helped you.
- 30:54That's amazing.
- 30:55This resonated.
- 30:55That's incredible.
- 30:57So that's the music trying to be made through us.
- 31:00You know, in a literal sense, if you make music or if you feel invited to or in like a figurative or in a poetic sense where we're all making music.
- 31:08Isn't a conversation a song?
- 31:09You know, it's frequency, it's sound, laughter, talk, talk, resonance, saying the word at the same time.
- 31:16We're always making music.
- 31:17You know, our footsteps on the earth, music.
- 31:21You know?
- 31:24Little high five.
- 31:25Music.
- 31:26From the cosmos.
- 31:27It's all music, isn't it?
- 31:29Our heart beats.
- 31:31Music.
- 31:32The sound of how we interact with our environment.
- 31:36Touching.
- 31:37You know, why do people?
- 31:38They love...
- 31:39I almost said BDSM.
- 31:40Oh!
- 31:43ASMR.
- 31:43That's an acronym.
- 31:45What can I say?
- 31:46They love ASMR.
- 31:47We love... We're always making music.
- 31:49Our purpose is music.
- 31:50Think about the keyboards clacking.
- 31:52Click, click as the author writes their book.
- 31:54Music.
- 31:55The sound of your pen on the page.
- 31:59Music.
- 32:00So the cosmos is trying to make music out of you, through you, with you, as you.
- 32:04Okay?
- 32:05So let it happen, babes.
- 32:08Let it happen.
- 32:09Okay?
- 32:09I'm sending so much love to you and I'll see you on the next.
- 32:12I don't know what this is now.
- 32:14I don't know what it is.
- 32:14What is the next soul session?
- 32:15I'll see you on the next soul session.
- 32:19What is it?
- 32:20I can't find it.
- 32:21I need a new tune, a new vibe.
- 32:23Someone has any ideas?
- 32:24I'm looking for a new ending.
- 32:26Because the old ending, it's lovely.
- 32:28But I feel like I'm on to the next.
- 32:30I'm on to the next.
- 32:30I'm sending so much love to you and I'll see you on the next soul session.
