- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must go on the radio.
- 0:08Speaker 2: These are things that must go. I mean we set
- 0:11Speaker 2: it right there.
- 0:12Speaker 3: We call it things that must go, Things that are
- 0:15Speaker 3: in your life that are just irritating you, just giving
- 0:18Speaker 3: you just fits of either anger or frustration. And so
- 0:22Speaker 3: you think I don't know it. Oh, I know what
- 0:24Speaker 3: I could do about it. I'll tell Radio from Hell
- 0:27Speaker 3: my things that must go. It'll make me feel better
- 0:29Speaker 3: to get it off my chest. Perhaps even these things
- 0:31Speaker 3: disappear from your life if we read them on the air.
- 0:33Speaker 3: We understand that to be the case sometimes. So send
- 0:37Speaker 3: your things that must go to Radio from Hell at
- 0:39Speaker 3: X ninety six dot com. Put Musco in the subject line,
- 0:43Speaker 3: and perhaps we'll read yours Nick, because you were a
- 0:47Speaker 3: guest on the show today, Why don't.
- 0:49Speaker 2: You go for sure? Thank you.
- 0:51Speaker 4: One of my own grocery stores now dependency on the
- 0:55Speaker 4: self checkout lane. It was supposed to be a thing where,
- 0:59Speaker 4: you know, if you had like a couple of items,
- 1:01Speaker 4: you could breeze by the regular checkout lane. And apparently
- 1:04Speaker 4: every grocery store that's now their main way of getting
- 1:07Speaker 4: you out the door. So it's usually easier to take
- 1:11Speaker 4: my full grocery cart and go through the self checkout
- 1:14Speaker 4: lane rather than wait for this single actual cashier.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Do they still have signs up with the self checkout
- 1:20Speaker 5: that say you know limited not not anymore.
- 1:23Speaker 4: They insist that you do almost the whole thing yourself,
- 1:26Speaker 4: and it's redundant because you know, from the business side
- 1:30Speaker 4: of things, they're trying to pay people less and just
- 1:32Speaker 4: have this manage everything but the self checkout lane. You know,
- 1:36Speaker 4: I'll be scanning several items and they'll say don't scan
- 1:39Speaker 4: several items at a time, and then a host has
- 1:41Speaker 4: to or you know, the person managing the self checkout
- 1:44Speaker 4: Kiosk has to come over and scan a thing, and
- 1:46Speaker 4: they are so numb to it at this point they're
- 1:48Speaker 4: just like, I know, the system is stupid, and then
- 1:50Speaker 4: they have to scan.
- 1:51Speaker 2: The bar code.
- 1:51Speaker 4: It's it's redundant, just higher people again. Yeah, that is
- 1:55Speaker 4: my thing that must go. Personally. This one from Hunter
- 1:59Speaker 4: use my name your leisure Hunter says Spotify transcriptions must go.
- 2:04Speaker 4: This is a quote unquote service at Spotify does without
- 2:07Speaker 4: the podcaster's knowledge or approval. How do I know this?
- 2:10Speaker 4: The transcription shows Carrie's name as cr R I E.
- 2:18Speaker 4: This error would have been corrected if this transcription had
- 2:21Speaker 4: gone through, you find people also not being able to
- 2:24Speaker 4: turn these transcriptions off must go. Not only are these
- 2:27Speaker 4: flagrantly wrong, these transcriptions cover up the podcast's album art,
- 2:31Speaker 4: which sometimes I would like to clearly see Stake Care Hunter.
- 2:35Speaker 4: This one from it doesn't say what must go? Is
- 2:38Speaker 4: my Orum Library card expiring this month? Never mind that
- 2:42Speaker 4: I haven't lived in orm in twelve years. They've got
- 2:45Speaker 4: the best music selection of anywhere I've lived in Utah County,
- 2:49Speaker 4: as well as access to streaming services like Hoopla and Canopy.
- 2:52Speaker 4: That's all I got for things that must go.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I'll go now interesting, Let's see, I've got one of
- 2:57Speaker 3: my own as my own muscos. So, when you get
- 3:01Speaker 3: dressed in the morning and you put on your you
- 3:04Speaker 3: put on your underpants, and then you put on your pants,
- 3:08Speaker 3: and you pull your pants up, and you sense him
- 3:10Speaker 3: up and you sense your belt usually yeah, and then
- 3:13Speaker 3: you start you're walking around, and then you realize the
- 3:17Speaker 3: underpants that you put on, the waistband has gotten stretched
- 3:22Speaker 3: out or they're kind of old, and your underpants starts
- 3:25Speaker 3: slipping down.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Below your butt cheeks. Wow, with your pants on, you.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Know, it's it's like what and you have to like
- 3:34Speaker 3: reach in there and pull them back up, or go
- 3:36Speaker 3: into the restroom and undo your belt and pull your
- 3:38Speaker 3: underpants up.
- 3:39Speaker 6: And it's just that's I might be experiencing that today. Really, Yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 6: it's terrible. Uh here, this one says good morning lords.
- 3:47Speaker 6: My first thing that must go is Pete Hagsath.
- 3:50Speaker 3: He's a John Hughes movie villain who fashions himself a
- 3:53Speaker 3: tough guy but melts down at anything that isn't straight
- 3:56Speaker 3: white or Christian. Yep, just an empty head of dumb ass.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I despise him more than the current occupant, and that
- 4:02Speaker 3: says something. Now he's out of the way. I have
- 4:05Speaker 3: a few ballpark muscoes that just make me cranky. Number one,
- 4:09Speaker 3: the constant need to fill every silent moment at a
- 4:11Speaker 3: game with music or noise. Call me crazy, but I
- 4:15Speaker 3: want to go to a baseball game to watch a
- 4:17Speaker 3: game and have a conversation with my friend and not
- 4:20Speaker 3: get bombarded with walls of sound in between pitches. Same
- 4:24Speaker 3: goes for sponsors. I don't give a rats ass about
- 4:26Speaker 3: the far As ice cream Smith's produce wig Race sponsored
- 4:29Speaker 3: by the Utah to dirty sodas. I just want to
- 4:31Speaker 3: watch a damn baseball game number two. The people that
- 4:35Speaker 3: walk in the aisles or make people get up as
- 4:37Speaker 3: a ball is in play. It's inconsiderate and it just
- 4:40Speaker 3: misses everyone off around you. You can wait five seconds
- 4:44Speaker 3: to go down the stairs and find your seat.
- 4:46Speaker 2: It's baseball. Stop it.
- 4:47Speaker 3: And then three. This could be used for anywhere. Parents
- 4:50Speaker 3: that don't watch their children and let them use the
- 4:52Speaker 3: ballpark as their own personal playground. I had to yell
- 4:56Speaker 3: at a parent to watch their kid a few months
- 4:58Speaker 3: ago because they were hanging onto the railing as the
- 5:01Speaker 3: parent was standing off on their own world doing god
- 5:05Speaker 3: knows what. Happy fortieth in two days. It's one day,
- 5:09Speaker 3: and thanks for letting me listen. Geek Show says Hey Brady,
- 5:11Speaker 3: And this one says. Something that must go is listeners
- 5:15Speaker 3: to radio from Hell calling in for Frank Christ or
- 5:17Speaker 3: beat Gina while they're busy, you know, riding a bus,
- 5:21Speaker 3: about to go on a cave tour, working, etc. If
- 5:26Speaker 3: you're calling in to play and win something, at least
- 5:28Speaker 3: you can be focused on the call you made and
- 5:32Speaker 3: eliminate the loud distractions. Make this go away. Longtime listener, Mary.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Speaking of phone, you said, I can't stand people who
- 5:41Speaker 5: are When they do get a checker at the grocery store,
- 5:44Speaker 5: they don't get off the damn phone. They continue their
- 5:47Speaker 5: conversation while the checker is trying to get their attentions.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, would you how many? You Know's so rude it is.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Let's see this one from does not say who is
- 5:57Speaker 5: so I will not say. Many of my streaming services
- 6:01Speaker 5: that I get through my apartment complex TV and internet packages,
- 6:05Speaker 5: which means that they are lower end and have ads.
- 6:08Speaker 5: That's fine, it's very low cost TV for me. What
- 6:11Speaker 5: must go is the ads that want me to choose
- 6:14Speaker 5: my AD experience. I truly don't care which progressive or
- 6:19Speaker 5: car commercial you put in front of me, Just pick one.
- 6:21Speaker 5: I'm usually in the middle of my binge, using my
- 6:24Speaker 5: TV as a background noise to move along throughout the day.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Then suddenly there's silence. Well, I have to find my
- 6:29Speaker 5: remote to choose the first ad experience. Please make this go.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Let's see this one from no name. Good morning, Lords
- 6:40Speaker 5: and lady. Longtime listener, but first time sending my message.
- 6:44Speaker 5: My thing that must go is misplaced blame at the workplace.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Our administration was placed on leave and ultimately reassigned after
- 6:52Speaker 5: an investigation instead of recognizing that the administration did something
- 6:56Speaker 5: bad enough to be put on leave and removed. There
- 6:59Speaker 5: are people work blaming those who were the victims and
- 7:02Speaker 5: brave enough to come forward with reports and concerns. It
- 7:06Speaker 5: has made it very difficult going to work. And this
- 7:10Speaker 5: one from Tony my things that must go as predicted.
- 7:13Speaker 5: People asking when is Veterans Month or Military apprec Month
- 7:18Speaker 5: Appreciation month when there are new stories about the Pride
- 7:20Speaker 5: parade that happened the past weekend for Pride Month. Veterans
- 7:24Speaker 5: Month is November made official in nineteen ninety six. Military
- 7:28Speaker 5: Appretion Month Appreciation Month is May made official in nineteen
- 7:33Speaker 5: ninety nine, the same year that Pride Month was made official.
- 7:37Speaker 5: These people are just wanting Lois Griffin's equal attention cake
- 7:42Speaker 5: and number two you will like this one. Bill Gina
- 7:45Speaker 5: calling the French dish saladness sois tuna salad.
- 7:50Speaker 2: She is wrong.
- 7:52Speaker 5: She is mocking the one hundred and twenty five plus
- 7:55Speaker 5: year old recipe from the Lovely City of Nice. Chef
- 7:58Speaker 5: Gordon Ramsay called this salad to be the finest summer
- 8:02Speaker 5: salad of all. Tuna salad is something that is spread
- 8:05Speaker 5: on bread for a sandwich or on top of a
- 8:06Speaker 5: cracker or lettuce. Yeah, dead ass, not qtz, not mindful
- 8:10Speaker 5: nor demure you donkey. Thanks for letting me listen, Tony.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Thanks That must go on the radio
- 8:23Speaker 4: Show
