- 0:25Speaker 1: We need your help to build the future of independent
- 0:27Speaker 1: news media and we hope to see you at Breakingpoints
- 0:29Speaker 1: dot com. All right, market's absolutely wild this morning. Let's
- 0:33Speaker 1: go ahead and start with this one. Put it up
- 0:35Speaker 1: there on the screen exactly twelve at twelve hours. President
- 0:39Speaker 1: Trump has now intervened after a warning that was issued
- 0:42Speaker 1: about potential market fallout that would have happened without a
- 0:45Speaker 1: Trump Taco. Yesterday, they posted at oil prices were no
- 0:48Speaker 1: longer the biggest threat to the markets, increasingly clear that
- 0:51Speaker 1: bond markets would dictate how President Trump can continue increased
- 0:54Speaker 1: pressure in the Iran war. As a four thirty am
- 0:57Speaker 1: ET this morning, the bond market was quote now more
- 1:00Speaker 1: broken than the energy market situation. The yield had hit
- 1:05Speaker 1: four point four to five percent. President Trump had the
- 1:07Speaker 1: same conversation as he did April ninth, twenty twenty five,
- 1:09Speaker 1: when he had paused tariffs for ninety days. Remember all
- 1:12Speaker 1: the whole bond market conversation that we had last year.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Three hours later, he postpones all strikes on Iranian power plants.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Thirty minutes later, Iran denies. The ten year yield briefly
- 1:21Speaker 1: collapsed before rebounding back to four point three eight percent.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Now a clear attempt by the US to contain a
- 1:27Speaker 1: brewing bond market crisis, which obviously affects all of the debt,
- 1:31Speaker 1: it affects mortgage rates, has huge impact on everything. The
- 1:36Speaker 1: bond crisis and reaction that happened after the twelve Day
- 1:39Speaker 1: or sorry, after the Liberation Day war that clearly had
- 1:43Speaker 1: a major impact on his thinking. Go to the next one. Please,
- 1:47Speaker 1: we can put this one up there on the screen
- 1:49Speaker 1: as we say now, as seen in April twenty twenty five,
- 1:52Speaker 1: this is what whose prediction was as of the early,
- 1:54Speaker 1: very early this morning, that President Trump would have to
- 1:57Speaker 1: intervene very very soon. Could explain the taco. Don't forget that.
- 2:00Speaker 1: There are also all of these crazy things happening with
- 2:03Speaker 1: the oil markets. So again, as of this morning, there
- 2:07Speaker 1: was a large plunge. We remain around nine percent down
- 2:11Speaker 1: for Brent Brent crude oil futures from the high that
- 2:16Speaker 1: they opened on last night. However that at one point
- 2:20Speaker 1: they were down like fourteen percent and they erased like
- 2:23Speaker 1: half of that because of the Iranian denial that negotiations
- 2:27Speaker 1: were happening. So something to keep an eye on. I mean,
- 2:29Speaker 1: it's still at nearly one hundred dollars a barrel, Like,
- 2:31Speaker 1: let's not pretend.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, ninety bucks a barrel is not a great place.
- 2:35Speaker 1: To be in, but we're about ninety for West Texas,
- 2:38Speaker 1: so that's still. I mean, if this lasts a couple
- 2:40Speaker 1: of days, you will likely see a reduction. I think
- 2:43Speaker 1: that's the analysis I saw in gas. You will probably
- 2:46Speaker 1: see it return to like three fifty something like that
- 2:49Speaker 1: depends on how the individual operators are. I'm talking about
- 2:52Speaker 1: the national price effers don't know about the individual states.
- 2:55Speaker 1: But clearly this was bubbling up at at the population
- 2:59Speaker 1: level as it should. People are furious. Good example of
- 3:02Speaker 1: that was the UN ambassador Mike Waltz took to a
- 3:07Speaker 1: CNN town hall and a younger voter confronted him over
- 3:11Speaker 1: gas prices. Let's take a listen.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I'm a waiter at a local restaurant in Queen's, a
- 3:15Speaker 4: full time college student who sleeps an average of four
- 3:18Speaker 4: hours at night, and it's still thousands in debt. How
- 3:21Speaker 4: is a war in a country half the world away
- 3:24Speaker 4: funded by the taxes pulled from my check helping me
- 3:26Speaker 4: in any way?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's OK.
- 3:31Speaker 5: It's a valid and it's a tough question, I know
- 3:35Speaker 5: for certain. And if we just look at the things
- 3:38Speaker 5: the President has put in place in terms of housing
- 3:42Speaker 5: and big corporations that are buying up whole neighborhoods, the
- 3:45Speaker 5: tax cuts that he extended with the Big Beautiful Bill,
- 3:48Speaker 5: the energy policies that we're putting in place to not
- 3:51Speaker 5: only make us self sufficient, but to you know, lessen
- 3:57Speaker 5: these dependencies and lower prices, even lowering prescription brug drug prices.
- 4:03Speaker 5: The President's absolutely focused on what you're seeing day in
- 4:08Speaker 5: and day out that's affecting your pocketbook. At the same time,
- 4:12Speaker 5: as commander in chief, he has to weigh the risks
- 4:16Speaker 5: and make the tough decisions facing some hard truths. We
- 4:22Speaker 5: cannot have a world with a genocidal, terroristic regime that
- 4:27Speaker 5: holds not only your generation but the next generation hostage.
- 4:31Speaker 1: With nuclear weapons.
- 4:32Speaker 5: And you know, those are the tough calls that the
- 4:34Speaker 5: American people elected him to make. And I can tell you,
- 4:38Speaker 5: having worked very closely with him, he doesn't back off
- 4:41Speaker 5: his red lines and he doesn't interest into bad deals.
- 4:46Speaker 5: But those are tough decisions, no doubt, and I know
- 4:49Speaker 5: they're top of mind for the entire administration.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, how do we all feel having listening to that?
- 4:55Speaker 1: How's that waiter feel? How's that guy feel? The guy
- 4:57Speaker 1: who's thousands of dollars in debt now getting crushed? Man,
- 5:00Speaker 1: He's like, how exactly does this affect my life? That's
- 5:02Speaker 1: a great question, man, And that's why I always love
- 5:05Speaker 1: the town halls. People have a real way of just
- 5:07Speaker 1: getting right down to it. Yeah, and yeah, you know everyone,
- 5:11Speaker 1: every American should be asking that question right now of
- 5:13Speaker 1: this administration and specifically of the Iran War. You could
- 5:17Speaker 1: not care. You could check out. You're still going to
- 5:19Speaker 1: have to pay more at the gas price, which Joe
- 5:21Speaker 1: Biden found out the hard way during the Ukraine War.
- 5:24Speaker 3: So and not only him, by the way.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I mean when inflation spiked around the world, basically it
- 5:27Speaker 2: was like a total global sweet out of almost every incumbent.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I mean, it was a massive global referendum on that.
- 5:36Speaker 2: You know, that inflation, and that all started with gas prices.
- 5:40Speaker 2: You know, I'm thinking about that gentleman in particular to
- 5:42Speaker 2: talk about he's a waiter, right, so probably you know,
- 5:45Speaker 2: tips are a significant part of his income. This is
- 5:47Speaker 2: somebody who would have seen a benefit from the no
- 5:49Speaker 2: tax on tips provisions very likely that President Trump signed
- 5:52Speaker 2: into law. You know, there's some other tax provisions they
- 5:55Speaker 2: were really counting on that would be like, oh, this
- 5:58Speaker 2: is going to be our sales pitch for the Mitcharns.
- 5:59Speaker 2: People are going to get more money back from the
- 6:01Speaker 2: government when they file their taxes.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Obviously that's going on right now.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You know, my parents were getting like a senior credit
- 6:06Speaker 2: that I'm sure Soccer was really excited about having me
- 6:09Speaker 2: and put into the tax code. But now that money
- 6:12Speaker 2: that's going right back out the door and into your
- 6:14Speaker 2: gas tank.
- 6:15Speaker 3: And that's just the beginning.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Because of course, you know, with our economy structure the
- 6:20Speaker 2: way it is that fuels inflation, across the board, and
- 6:25Speaker 2: you know, I hope that gas prices come down a
- 6:27Speaker 2: little bit this week. But the other dynamic that we
- 6:29Speaker 2: experienced during the you know, Ukraine War and COVID inflationary
- 6:33Speaker 2: spikes is that they're very quick to raise the prices,
- 6:36Speaker 2: takes a little bit longer to bring them back down.
- 6:39Speaker 2: They like to hold them high as long as they
- 6:41Speaker 2: can get away with it. So I have no doubt
- 6:43Speaker 2: we'll see that dynamic hareplay on us.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, remember Diesel came down. Did anybody's got
- 6:48Speaker 1: a grocery price come down? Because I haven't seen it.
- 6:50Speaker 1: All Right, let's go to I know, people like my
- 6:53Speaker 1: McDonald's updates, my wife Jan McDonald's. I went to McDonald's yesterday,
- 6:57Speaker 1: medium fries for fifty for fifty that's crazy, in what
- 7:01Speaker 1: should that cost you to me? Ninety nine cents? Right?
- 7:04Speaker 3: Maybe spend ninety, man, I'll give you two dollars.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Okay, I don't. I don't even Donald's. So it's one
- 7:08Speaker 1: of those things where this is literally my only And yes,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I did use the app for all the people who
- 7:13Speaker 1: were got mad at me for not using the app
- 7:15Speaker 1: for fifty four fifty for a medium fry. What the
- 7:18Speaker 1: hell is going on?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Listen?
- 7:19Speaker 2: I have the luxury of, you know, being able to
- 7:22Speaker 2: take a principled stand against the app. But I am
- 7:24Speaker 2: against the app because they will track you, they will
- 7:27Speaker 2: punch you down.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I mand you go and eat a sausage, biscuit or something.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I use it one time.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I don't need that kind of temptation.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Now all of a sudden, it's just like, hey, you
- 7:34Speaker 1: want to free sausage. You know, you want to free this,
- 7:36Speaker 1: You want to free that. Well it's not who is
- 7:38Speaker 1: it really free? It's not free. You're paying four to
- 7:40Speaker 1: fifty for a medium fry. I can post a receipt
- 7:42Speaker 1: if anybody doesn't believe me. But to that point, let's
- 7:45Speaker 1: go ahead and put C seven up here on the screen. Inflation,
- 7:49Speaker 1: come into a gas station and or a grocery store
- 7:52Speaker 1: near you. Five dollars diesel already crushing truckers, will soon
- 7:56Speaker 1: be felt across the economy.
- 7:58Speaker 3: As a heartbreaking four guys.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean these guys, they're like barely floating on
- 8:03Speaker 1: the margins and they're talking about this forty percent increase
- 8:07Speaker 1: month over month in the price of diesel. If they
- 8:10Speaker 1: say that they have to take lesser loads that they
- 8:12Speaker 1: have to drive in weird ways to avoid hills, that
- 8:16Speaker 1: if they have a single blowout that they're in, if
- 8:18Speaker 1: they have an engine problem, their entire business is done.
- 8:21Speaker 1: This is like the backbone. This is the what is
- 8:24Speaker 1: it the one? I think it's the one profession left
- 8:27Speaker 1: in the US where you can reliably not have a
- 8:30Speaker 1: college education, make like six figures actually control your own destiny,
- 8:34Speaker 1: especially if you're an independent contractor, if you save up
- 8:37Speaker 1: enough to have your own rig and you can take jobs,
- 8:39Speaker 1: you know, as you police, you have a little bit
- 8:40Speaker 1: of work life balance, even though it kind of sucks
- 8:42Speaker 1: obviously to drive as much as they have to do,
- 8:45Speaker 1: but they make a modest amount of money and they
- 8:47Speaker 1: can generally survive. So of course that's also, as I understand,
- 8:51Speaker 1: that the most maga six figure profession in the United States.
- 8:54Speaker 1: So yeah, literally screwing your own voters. It's not just
- 8:56Speaker 1: about who they vote for. I mean these it's a
- 8:58Speaker 1: tough it's an incredible tough job, and it's the last
- 9:02Speaker 1: bastion of some agency without you know, signing up for
- 9:05Speaker 1: a life in front of a computer. So I really,
- 9:08Speaker 1: I really feel for these guys. Forty percent increase. Yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 1: a month over mond, I mean, how many business we
- 9:12Speaker 1: run a business if our costs weren't forty percent, I
- 9:15Speaker 1: mean we survived. But I'll be like, you start to
- 9:18Speaker 1: make a lot of decisions, right, there's a lot of
- 9:20Speaker 1: stuff that's going to start getting cut and especially planning
- 9:22Speaker 1: for the future. So I really, I really do feel
- 9:25Speaker 1: for these.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Structure and this gets passed on to consumers.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And they talk about in this in this article about
- 9:31Speaker 2: they interviewed this guy, Miguel Caveda.
- 9:33Speaker 3: He says he's spent.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Eighteen hundred dollars in diesel fuel during a one week
- 9:38Speaker 2: on the road and that that was a forty percent
- 9:41Speaker 2: increase from what he normally does. And he recognizes He's like, yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 2: I know this is going to get passed on ultimately
- 9:47Speaker 2: to consumers who are going to pay more for everything
- 9:49Speaker 2: that I'm hauling, because you know, that's the way it works.
- 9:52Speaker 2: It's not like the companies that are more profitable in
- 9:54Speaker 2: the you know, the middlemen here are going to take
- 9:56Speaker 2: the hit. No, they're gonna they're going to push it
- 9:58Speaker 2: down to the truckers who are in less of a
- 10:00Speaker 2: position of power, and they're going to push it onto consumers.
- 10:02Speaker 3: That's what's going to happen. People are going to get squeezed.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. And keeping here with a little bit of this,
- 10:07Speaker 1: we could show you guys some of the stuff. So
- 10:09Speaker 1: for example, C six, this is where we're at now currently.
- 10:13Speaker 1: This is the nationwide gas price as of this morning.
- 10:16Speaker 1: This was about nine three dollars ninety five cents a
- 10:18Speaker 1: gallon is the nationwide average. It'll probably hit four before
- 10:22Speaker 1: coming down in a couple of days if the downturn continues. Obviously,
- 10:26Speaker 1: who knows with the whole Trump Taco Israel situation. But
- 10:29Speaker 1: I mean in California is five to seventy gallon? That's madness.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And our producer Griffin tells us in Los Angeles it's
- 10:34Speaker 1: easily six dollars a gallon, San Diego, a few other
- 10:37Speaker 1: places in the state of California. So I really do
- 10:40Speaker 1: feel for all those people. And what is the White
- 10:41Speaker 1: House telling us? What are the conservative media, Fox News
- 10:44Speaker 1: and others saying it's short term pain for a long
- 10:47Speaker 1: term game. See five. Let's take a listen.
- 10:50Speaker 5: This is a.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Short term disruption for the long term gain.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Short term pain for the long term gain.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Short term pain be for long term gain. We're gonna
- 10:59Speaker 1: have some short term pain with long term gain, short
- 11:02Speaker 1: term pay for a long term gain, short term pain.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yes, we've got some long term gain, short term spike
- 11:09Speaker 2: for a long term gain.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Some short term pain for American consumers.
- 11:13Speaker 4: We may have to deal with that in the short term,
- 11:15Speaker 4: short term and temporary, temporary, short term pain.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It's gonna suck in the short term, some.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Short term pain, short term pain.
- 11:22Speaker 1: We have to focus on. The short term. Memo went out,
- 11:26Speaker 1: The memos out, that's the Fox News line. The boomers
- 11:29Speaker 1: are like, yeah, you're right. For short term, they're just
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know, sitting on their stock portfolios and there. Yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 1: they're new social Security checks that are like, oh, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: for cost more to drive to the casino to piss
- 11:40Speaker 1: away my social Security stuck, So be it. That's the
- 11:42Speaker 1: long term gain. Just have you seen that meme too
- 11:45Speaker 1: about twenty days, Like the year is twenty thirty. The
- 11:47Speaker 1: boomers will tell us you were right about the Iron
- 11:50Speaker 1: War and the Iraq War, but this time Turkey is
- 11:52Speaker 1: an existential threat to the United States. Yeah, it's coming.
- 11:56Speaker 1: They'll learn nothing.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's absolutely right. There's one last piece here
- 12:00Speaker 2: that I just want to flag the eight because I
- 12:02Speaker 2: thought this was interesting, this kind of like time limit
- 12:04Speaker 2: of the short term pain. I guess they're saying that
- 12:07Speaker 2: these Wall Street analysts, in these corporate executives basically feel
- 12:12Speaker 2: like there's.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Like a two week time limit here.
- 12:13Speaker 2: The economy has a straight of hor moves deadline for
- 12:15Speaker 2: Trump two weeks where you know, I mean, already oil
- 12:19Speaker 2: prices have been pretty high, you know, up to one
- 12:22Speaker 2: hundred dollars and beyond. Right now they're down back down
- 12:25Speaker 2: at about ninety dollars a Barrow's still not great. But
- 12:29Speaker 2: in any case, you know, even Trump expressed surprise at like,
- 12:32Speaker 2: oh how co I thought it would actually be a
- 12:34Speaker 2: little bit worse than this. There are some indications they
- 12:37Speaker 2: may be directly intervening in the economy to keep the
- 12:39Speaker 2: oil prices from completely spikeanic control. But you can see
- 12:41Speaker 2: this as a concern, and that's the whole reason for
- 12:43Speaker 2: the talker right before the market's open this morning, et cetera.
- 12:45Speaker 2: But in any case, this is kind of the sense
- 12:47Speaker 2: on Wall Street is like, all right, we'll give them
- 12:49Speaker 2: about two more weeks if you can't get the straight
- 12:51Speaker 2: of horror moves open. That's kind of when we're going
- 12:53Speaker 2: to lose hope that a taco, an achievable taco is
- 12:56Speaker 2: truly on the horizon. So you know, according to this article,
- 13:00Speaker 2: at least, that's kind of how the clock is sticking
- 13:01Speaker 2: right now.
- 13:02Speaker 1: We'll see. All right, let's get to bb last thing
- 13:07Speaker 1: that we alluded to a little bit earlier before we
- 13:09Speaker 1: get to Andrew Wilkinson is specifically about Israel and these
- 13:13Speaker 1: alleged strikes that are currently happening where they are claiming
- 13:17Speaker 1: that Iran is trying to damage the holy sites in Jerusalem.
- 13:21Speaker 1: The problem, of course with that is if something were
- 13:23Speaker 1: to happen, whether it's false flag or a real attack,
- 13:25Speaker 1: who knows from some sort of falling debris is it
- 13:28Speaker 1: could trigger a literal religious war on top of the
- 13:31Speaker 1: disaster that we're already in. So let's play some of
- 13:34Speaker 1: this footage that was coming out of Israel where you
- 13:36Speaker 1: could actually see these Iranian ballistic missile fragments according to
- 13:41Speaker 1: the Israelis that struck near the Old City of Jerusalem.
- 13:45Speaker 1: They're saying that it's fell roughly four hundred yards from
- 13:49Speaker 1: the Western Wall and the all Axa Mosque. The reason
- 13:52Speaker 1: why this is important is that the prime Minister Netsan
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yahou immediately began using these strikes as evidence of holy
- 14:00Speaker 1: war of being targeting and why other nations need to
- 14:03Speaker 1: be brought into it. Let's take listen from the Prime minister.
- 14:06Speaker 1: What do you have to say?
- 14:07Speaker 6: If anyone needed an explanation of why Iran is the
- 14:16Speaker 6: enemy of civilization and the enemy and the danger to
- 14:20Speaker 6: the entire world, you got it in the last forty
- 14:22Speaker 6: eight hours. In the last forty eight hours, they fired
- 14:26Speaker 6: what terror weapon on civilians? On children. There's a children's
- 14:31Speaker 6: nursery here, there's an old man, old person's home here, civilians, families.
- 14:38Speaker 6: They fired terror weapons on civilians, and often they use
- 14:41Speaker 6: cluster bombs, which are forbidden by international law. The second
- 14:46Speaker 6: thing that they did is that they fired on Jerusalem,
- 14:49Speaker 6: right next to the holy places. They sent ballistic missiles
- 14:53Speaker 6: that could have destroyed the Church of the Holy Sepulcher,
- 14:56Speaker 6: the Laxa Mosque, and the Western Wall, three holy asides
- 15:01Speaker 6: to the three monastistic religions. They don't care. They're firing
- 15:04Speaker 6: on everyone. The third thing they did is they fired
- 15:08Speaker 6: in intercontinental ballistic missiles four thousand kilometers right into Diego Garcia.
- 15:13Speaker 6: The American British base. They can reach now with these
- 15:16Speaker 6: ballistic missiles everywhere in Europe, almost everywhere in Europe.
- 15:20Speaker 1: So he talked there about remember that's why we spent time.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Diego Garcia got a propaganda back there. Right to hear
- 15:26Speaker 1: Diego Garcia mentioned there at the end the Alaxa and
- 15:29Speaker 1: the Holy sites of Jerusalem. They're talking about that could
- 15:32Speaker 1: be a potential for you know, some sort of precipitating
- 15:34Speaker 1: event for a complete takeover destruction of the mosque. Also
- 15:38Speaker 1: the clusters, spare me cluster munitions and targeting civilians. All
- 15:43Speaker 1: the Israelis would never use cluster munitions, right except like
- 15:45Speaker 1: multiple confirmed times over Lebanon. Yeah, I happen to remember.
- 15:48Speaker 2: They're not even part of neither Iran or Israel signed
- 15:51Speaker 2: the you know, the treaty banning use of cluster munitions.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But anything from this man talking about, oh my god,
- 15:58Speaker 2: civilian like you you opened this box, like you have
- 16:02Speaker 2: no room to talk, like, yes, you're you're right, Iron's coming.
- 16:06Speaker 2: In war crimes, you assassinated their head of state in
- 16:09Speaker 2: the opening Salvos and the Americans bombed schoolgirls and murdered them,
- 16:14Speaker 2: you know, murdered one hundred and sixty eight of them.
- 16:16Speaker 2: So you're gonna you're gonna lecture the world about civilian life. Okay, yeah, sure,
- 16:19Speaker 2: most moral army in the world.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and do not forget this This video, which had
- 16:25Speaker 1: been flagged by Tarmer Carlson and many others, of a
- 16:28Speaker 1: rabbi from twenty twenty four saying Hey, if we need to,
- 16:32Speaker 1: we could pretend that there was an attack on all
- 16:35Speaker 1: Oxa and then use it as an excuse to rebuild
- 16:38Speaker 1: their temple. Let's take a listen.
- 16:40Speaker 6: It's all moved by a shames to this location to
- 16:44Speaker 6: that location.
- 16:46Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Maybe one of the missiles will heed the mask and
- 16:50Speaker 3: clear the place for the third veta.
- 16:53Speaker 1: That could also be a miracle.
- 16:55Speaker 3: If it was up to me the last time, when
- 17:01Speaker 3: they shot hundreds of missiles, I would pretend that.
- 17:04Speaker 1: One missile came from Iran and shoot it down.
- 17:08Speaker 6: You know, then all the Arabs will go against Iran
- 17:11Speaker 6: and will be the.
- 17:12Speaker 1: End of the problems.
- 17:14Speaker 6: You make them fight with each.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Other, this bunch of lunatics.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Never too late to deal with a bunch of cowards,
- 17:22Speaker 6: these early leaders.
- 17:24Speaker 1: They just won that passed the week. So there you go. Yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 1: very controversial Rabbi miss Rachi, who was very upset by
- 17:34Speaker 1: the way I talk to carls him for playing them,
- 17:38Speaker 1: for you know, for absolutely exposing some of the things
- 17:41Speaker 1: look that he said in the past.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I mean, look, I absolutely stand by anyone's right to
- 17:46Speaker 2: play some of the thinking that comes out of the region,
- 17:48Speaker 2: because I've said them many times after October seventh, if
- 17:52Speaker 2: you listen to the most hysterical lefty or if you
- 17:54Speaker 2: listen to the totally psycho settlers about what their goals were,
- 17:58Speaker 2: and you know, the lefties were saying like, here's what
- 18:00Speaker 2: Israel's going to do, you would have been much more
- 18:03Speaker 2: accurate in understanding where things were ultimately headed. I mean,
- 18:06Speaker 2: at the time when you talked about the Greater Israel project,
- 18:08Speaker 2: you were considered a complete.
- 18:10Speaker 3: And total nut job.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Now you look at Siri, you look at Lebanon, you
- 18:13Speaker 2: look at the West Bank, you look at Gaza, you
- 18:15Speaker 2: look at the whole region, right, and you've got our
- 18:18Speaker 2: own ambassador being asked again by Tucker Carlson. Hey, you know,
- 18:22Speaker 2: the Bible says this is the area that Israel supposed
- 18:25Speaker 2: to make up. You cool, if they take that area
- 18:27Speaker 2: which encompasses you know, parts or the whole of multiple
- 18:30Speaker 2: countries in the region.
- 18:30Speaker 3: He's like, yes, they do that. That's fine.
- 18:33Speaker 2: That is official state of government policy coming from our ambassador,
- 18:36Speaker 2: which was never disputed by the President or anyone else
- 18:39Speaker 2: in the administration. By the way, that'd be a good
- 18:41Speaker 2: question actually to ask somebody in the administration whether they
- 18:44Speaker 2: stand by that. But do you put this past the Israelis,
- 18:48Speaker 2: you think they wouldn't do something like this if they
- 18:51Speaker 2: thought it would benefit them, They absolutely would. And again
- 18:54Speaker 2: you have to think of not only do you have
- 18:56Speaker 2: you know, fanatical religious fanatic who are in control of
- 19:01Speaker 2: the government and deeply influential in terms of this government coalition,
- 19:04Speaker 2: in terms of that society at large. You have met
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yahu again as this old man who wants to have
- 19:08Speaker 2: his legacy and his imprint on the world. And you
- 19:12Speaker 2: have this connection between the eschatology of you know, the
- 19:15Speaker 2: the Jewish, the Jewish extremists with the American evangelicals that
- 19:19Speaker 2: converge in the site of Al a Samusk and what
- 19:23Speaker 2: they would, you know, rebuild there's a third temple. So
- 19:26Speaker 2: you know, you've got the the war justification of this,
- 19:30Speaker 2: you know, racist rabbi saying like, oh, these Arabs, their
- 19:32Speaker 2: their maniacs, they're they're crazy. They'll all fight each other.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So you've got that idea of let's turn all these
- 19:38Speaker 2: people against each other and they'll all fight each other
- 19:41Speaker 2: and we won't have to deal with them. You see
- 19:43Speaker 2: that in some of the worst strategy. Right We we
- 19:46Speaker 2: actually know one of the attacks on Bahrain that was
- 19:49Speaker 2: purported to have come from Iran actually now we know
- 19:52Speaker 2: it was a Tomahawk that was a US missile that actually,
- 19:56Speaker 2: you know, did the damage there in Bahrain.
- 19:58Speaker 3: We've had other indication that.
- 20:00Speaker 2: The Americans in the Israelis are actually responsible for some
- 20:03Speaker 2: of the attacks that they are blaming on Iran. Why
- 20:07Speaker 2: because they want to draw the entire region in. They
- 20:11Speaker 2: want to make it so that those Arab Gulf states
- 20:14Speaker 2: that they also fully join the fight without hesitation. The
- 20:18Speaker 2: Diego Garcia strike, if that is, you know, if that
- 20:22Speaker 2: was a false flag, which I think is possible. I'm
- 20:24Speaker 2: not saying it is, I'm saying it's possible. What's the
- 20:26Speaker 2: goal of that to draw Europe in. So this is
- 20:29Speaker 2: the way that they think, and it's the way that
- 20:31Speaker 2: they operate. And be me in those comments about how
- 20:34Speaker 2: Oh Jesus Christ would lose to Jingis Khan. What he's
- 20:38Speaker 2: asserting there is we can do because we are inherently
- 20:41Speaker 2: the good guys, inherently, not because of our actions, just
- 20:43Speaker 2: inherently this like supremacist view, we can do anything and
- 20:48Speaker 2: it's still good because we're trying to prevail over them
- 20:51Speaker 2: and they are inherently evil. That's his view of the world. Like,
- 20:54Speaker 2: that is what he laid out. That is what he
- 20:55Speaker 2: meant by those comments.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, this was I mean, that quote was so wild.
- 21:00Speaker 1: What was Emily's take? Actually, I'm curious.
- 21:03Speaker 3: You know, Emily's very measured.
- 21:04Speaker 2: She just explained, like, well, it comes from this book,
- 21:06Speaker 2: and here's the view.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I was a little familiar, but it's like, here's
- 21:11Speaker 1: the thing. He clearly was not quoting it in a
- 21:14Speaker 1: way like maybe I would analytically. He was doing it
- 21:17Speaker 1: in like a praiseworthy manner, and he was like trying
- 21:19Speaker 1: to I think Christian evil wins out. I'm like, well,
- 21:26Speaker 1: that is true, you know, in a matter of like
- 21:30Speaker 1: test of wills and military force. But to cite Jesus's
- 21:33Speaker 1: name in that, that's pretty wild. And I think again,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how many times these Christian
- 21:40Speaker 1: Zionists need to be like literally spit on by these
- 21:43Speaker 1: literally spit on. If you think I'm joking about way
- 21:45Speaker 1: some Christians there are treated before them to wake up,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I will never understand it. Like they look at them
- 21:51Speaker 1: like cattle. I've seen that. I've talked to some of
- 21:54Speaker 1: these israel people. They're they're like, oh yeah, these crazy people.
- 21:57Speaker 1: They come over here. They need us to die so
- 21:59Speaker 1: that their Messiah will come back. They literally laugh at
- 22:01Speaker 1: you while they take your money, and they want you
- 22:03Speaker 1: to continue to support them, and they do. I just
- 22:06Speaker 1: it's so nuts. You know, the Paula White stories that
- 22:09Speaker 1: recently came out from our Religious Liberty Commission, and all
- 22:12Speaker 1: of this put together, that's why, you know, to your
- 22:14Speaker 1: point October eighth, twenty twenty three, when we're sitting here
- 22:18Speaker 1: talking about greater Israel and patches and third temples, you
- 22:22Speaker 1: seem like an insane person. Red Heifer Tucker, Yeah, the
- 22:26Speaker 1: Red Heifer. Yeah. Tucker made a good point where our
- 22:29Speaker 1: society is so secular, we can't conceive of this stuff
- 22:32Speaker 1: because to me it seems nuts. But I even though
- 22:36Speaker 1: it does, I am empathetic, not in like a way
- 22:39Speaker 1: that I appreciate, but like empathetic enough to understand, like
- 22:42Speaker 1: this is a real religious conflict for a lot of
- 22:46Speaker 1: these people. And I don't put it past them both
- 22:48Speaker 1: these real and yeah, you know, I mean who knows
- 22:50Speaker 1: even potential some sort of what the reaction to that
- 22:53Speaker 1: could be, considering the history of the region and the
- 22:56Speaker 1: second Endofada, And they're like going, you know, like going
- 22:58Speaker 1: to the mosque or the temple.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Nothing kisses me off more though than when they try
- 23:03Speaker 2: to frame this as some like two thousand year old
- 23:05Speaker 2: blood feud.
- 23:06Speaker 3: It's like, Israel is a modern creation.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And I'm not saying everything was hunky dory all the time,
- 23:13Speaker 2: but you had Christians, Jews, and Muslims who buy and
- 23:16Speaker 2: large were able to peacefully coexist for generate No, this
- 23:19Speaker 2: is not a religious battle. This is a political battle
- 23:23Speaker 2: over land, territory and sovereignty. That's what this is. And
- 23:26Speaker 2: so you know, I think the leaders who are involved here.
- 23:30Speaker 2: You know, Trump is not Trump is not an evangelical
- 23:33Speaker 2: right but he's happy to use that if it serves
- 23:36Speaker 2: his war aims. Not Yahoo is by all accounts a
- 23:40Speaker 2: secular person, like a you know, not super fanatical religious,
- 23:45Speaker 2: but is he happy to use you know, people's genuine
- 23:48Speaker 2: religious views and fanaticism. Frankly, is he happy to use
- 23:52Speaker 2: that for his war ams, Of course he is. So
- 23:55Speaker 2: it's like any other sort of sy up. It's a
- 23:58Speaker 2: tool to manipulate the masses. It's a tool to justify
- 24:03Speaker 2: things that are otherwise not at all justifiable, you know.
- 24:06Speaker 2: I mean he uses also not in y'all, this language
- 24:08Speaker 2: of the children of the light and the children of
- 24:09Speaker 2: the darkness. Again, the framing that he puts out to
- 24:13Speaker 2: the population, and the population believes, by the way, judging
- 24:16Speaker 2: by their own reaction to, you know, the atrocities that
- 24:18Speaker 2: their state routinely commits. He puts out that, effectively, they
- 24:22Speaker 2: are always in forever the good guys, period, end of story.
- 24:26Speaker 2: And I think there's a lot of Americans who believe
- 24:27Speaker 2: that about America too. If it's us, then it's the
- 24:29Speaker 2: good guys. It doesn't really matter what we do. If
- 24:31Speaker 2: we did something that was it was an oopsie, it
- 24:33Speaker 2: was an aberration. If one of our sworn enemies does
- 24:36Speaker 2: something bad that speaks to their direct character, that's because
- 24:38Speaker 2: they are inherently bad. And so that's how they can
- 24:41Speaker 2: go about justifying all of these you know, wars and
- 24:44Speaker 2: wars of aggression, and you know, invasions and ethnic cleansing
- 24:48Speaker 2: and genocide, war crimes and bombing school girls, et cetera.
- 24:51Speaker 2: It's because they're inherently the good ones. So in any case,
- 24:54Speaker 2: anytime I hear now that like directly religious rhetoric come
- 25:00Speaker 2: from any of these leaders, but Natanyahu in particular, my
- 25:02Speaker 2: ears really perk up because I think it's very, very significant.
- 25:06Speaker 2: And so the moment he mentioned, like, oh, and Iran
- 25:09Speaker 2: is targeting near the Alaksa Musque, I found that to
- 25:12Speaker 2: be a very ominous comment from him.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Totally agree. All right, we got Wolkerson standing by. Let's
- 25:17Speaker 1: get to it.
- 25:20Speaker 2: All right, guys, looks like we had a scheduling snafu
- 25:23Speaker 2: with Lawrence Wilkerson. So hopefully we'll be able to work
- 25:25Speaker 2: that out to get him on the show in the
- 25:28Speaker 2: near future because I definitely want to speak with him.
- 25:30Speaker 2: But in the meantime, we've had some breaking news. Trump
- 25:33Speaker 2: apparently talking on the phone to a couple of his
- 25:36Speaker 2: favorite hosts over at CNBC. Joe Kernan reported that this
- 25:40Speaker 2: is how their conversation went.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Let's go and take a listen to that.
- 25:43Speaker 7: President went on to say or insists that this is
- 25:47Speaker 7: regime change because it's totally different people that were involved
- 25:52Speaker 7: in the last regime. I would imagine some of the
- 25:57Speaker 7: people are the same. This is the president's take on that,
- 26:01Speaker 7: insisting that it's regime changed.
- 26:03Speaker 2: So I don't know, Sagaris is like an attempt for
- 26:05Speaker 2: Trump to declare mission accomplished. I don't know, but we
- 26:07Speaker 2: did change the regime because we've murdered the Ayahtola and
- 26:10Speaker 2: now his son is in charge is reportedly more hardline.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I mean, they killed a bunch of the people who
- 26:14Speaker 2: he even said that they killed a bunch of the
- 26:16Speaker 2: people that they thought maybe they would be negotiating an
- 26:18Speaker 2: end to the war. So he's trying to frame this,
- 26:21Speaker 2: I guess as some sort of a positive Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Look, if this is what it takes to say mission accomplished,
- 26:27Speaker 1: mister president, your genius, You've accomplished nobody could else, nobody else,
- 26:35Speaker 1: and I really mean nobody could have.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Done it quite like you.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Quite like you. I'm giving you all preview of I'm
- 26:42Speaker 1: going to try and sye out my way on Fox
- 26:44Speaker 1: News and give an incredibly serious like take praising him,
- 26:48Speaker 1: but also pepper it with little things like that and
- 26:50Speaker 1: be like, thank you for your bravery this decision. So yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 1: I mean, look, if this is what it takes, this
- 26:57Speaker 1: is what it takes. At the very same time, we've
- 26:59Speaker 1: got this interview that he just did with Maria Bartriomo.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Let's take a listen, Welcome back.
- 27:06Speaker 8: I just spoke with President Trump and he told me
- 27:10Speaker 8: that Iran wants to make a deal badly. He said
- 27:13Speaker 8: that the talks have been ongoing. I said, how much
- 27:16Speaker 8: longer will this conflict go on? He said, the talks.
- 27:19Speaker 8: I said five days to halt or postpone strikes on
- 27:25Speaker 8: the electrical infrastructure. It could happen sooner, he said, but
- 27:30Speaker 8: I have put down five days. I asked him what
- 27:34Speaker 8: his reaction is to Iranian state television saying that there
- 27:39Speaker 8: are no talks, and he said he's not sure what
- 27:42Speaker 8: they are referring to, because the most recent talks happened,
- 27:45Speaker 8: in fact, last night with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner
- 27:50Speaker 8: and their counterparts. When I asked about the Iranian TV
- 27:53Speaker 8: saying that no talks have happened, he said, it's hard
- 27:56Speaker 8: to get any information there because of the US is
- 28:01Speaker 8: blowing up so much of their infrastructure. So again, he
- 28:05Speaker 8: wasn't sure what Iran State TV was talking about, because
- 28:08Speaker 8: the most recent talks, he said, happened last night with
- 28:12Speaker 8: Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Again, the President just told
- 28:15Speaker 8: me moments ago that the Iranians want to do a
- 28:19Speaker 8: deal badly. The market, of course, has reversed course this
- 28:23Speaker 8: morning after the President posted this morning in the middle
- 28:27Speaker 8: of a big decline in markets, he said that he
- 28:31Speaker 8: has directed the military to postpone strikes on the electrical
- 28:37Speaker 8: infrastructure and the power plants for five days as these
- 28:41Speaker 8: talks continued.
- 28:42Speaker 1: There you go, Actually, I mean, look, he's claiming some
- 28:46Speaker 1: Kushner and wit cough exchanges. Iranian TV saying no talks
- 28:50Speaker 1: have happened, by the way, not there's no public reporting
- 28:53Speaker 1: that this is even true Axios, which is like the
- 28:56Speaker 1: White House sscribe when they were talking about the what
- 29:00Speaker 1: they said it was ya intermediaries of Egypt, Turkey and
- 29:04Speaker 1: a few other countries which we're talking to. Both were
- 29:07Speaker 1: messages being exchanged. In reality, I mean, here's the truth.
- 29:10Speaker 1: What it probably was. The US were like, hey, here's
- 29:12Speaker 1: our demands, and the Iranians were like, hey, here's our demands.
- 29:15Speaker 1: You know, to the Turks or to the Egyptians, and
- 29:17Speaker 1: they were just calling each other saying what it was.
- 29:19Speaker 1: There's been no subs Obviously, there has been no actual
- 29:22Speaker 1: substantive exchange. If Jared Kushner and Steve Wikoff have proof
- 29:26Speaker 1: of this, they should release it. The Iranians are denying
- 29:28Speaker 1: it completely outright that any of it has happened. Again, look,
- 29:32Speaker 1: if he needs to pretend, be my guest that there
- 29:35Speaker 1: are some functional talks that are happening, but that would
- 29:39Speaker 1: require Iranians actually taking it seriously and constraining Israel. And
- 29:44Speaker 1: you know, look, our show is a bit difficult to
- 29:46Speaker 1: program this morning because so much breaking news is happening.
- 29:49Speaker 1: But it's like I said, the Israeli Air Force has
- 29:51Speaker 1: already announced quote the air Force has begun a short
- 29:54Speaker 1: while ago another wave of strikes targeting infrastructure of the
- 29:57Speaker 1: Iranian terror regime across Tayran. Combine that also with some
- 30:01Speaker 1: of the comments that were made here to Maria Barceriomo,
- 30:04Speaker 1: there is no indication that any actual off ramp is
- 30:08Speaker 1: being pursued. Is this a moratorium of all US strikes,
- 30:12Speaker 1: of all Israeli strikes? No, it's saying that the promised
- 30:16Speaker 1: energy strikes that would happen in five days have been
- 30:19Speaker 1: called off. Now at this point, maybe it'll never happen,
- 30:21Speaker 1: but a low grade war is still a disaster for
- 30:24Speaker 1: the straits of Hormuves, for the closure of you know,
- 30:26Speaker 1: for the closure of the straits of Hormoves, for continued
- 30:28Speaker 1: missiles being fired, of tit for tat escalation between the
- 30:32Speaker 1: Israelis and Iranians, of American service members of all the
- 30:35Speaker 1: GCC countries. So let's not pretend like this is over
- 30:37Speaker 1: right now, right, I mean this morning, I was looking
- 30:40Speaker 1: and reading an oil analyst who said, if the war
- 30:43Speaker 1: ends today like fully ends today, four months still of disruption,
- 30:46Speaker 1: four months in the oil markets from lost production, seven
- 30:50Speaker 1: months to get the Katari ras Lafon facility back online
- 30:53Speaker 1: to a limited capacity. Remember they had extensive damage which
- 30:56Speaker 1: will take multiple years to repair, billions of dollars to
- 30:59Speaker 1: have to be reinvested. And there is a mismatch of
- 31:02Speaker 1: global tankers right now where a lot of tankers who
- 31:04Speaker 1: traditionally will be transitting are now actually coming to the
- 31:07Speaker 1: United States to pick up oil from here or LNG
- 31:10Speaker 1: and then take it back over there. So it would
- 31:12Speaker 1: take months. I mean, you know, these are huge, gigantic
- 31:14Speaker 1: ships with cargo and contracts are already being canceled out
- 31:18Speaker 1: until April. So it's good even if it ended today,
- 31:22Speaker 1: which it's not. This buys every week basically is another
- 31:27Speaker 1: month or so of disruption from his from the way
- 31:30Speaker 1: that he outlined it, and his real doomsday was another
- 31:33Speaker 1: two months. He's like another two months, and it's like that.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Think about too a few things.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Number one, I mean, just ask yourself as the straight
- 31:40Speaker 2: ofform moves opening anytime, right, No, No, the Iranians are
- 31:43Speaker 2: not opening. The straight ofform moonves, which is what the
- 31:44Speaker 2: original threat from Trump was all about. Which you know,
- 31:47Speaker 2: that whole problem is just created exclusively obviously by this war.
- 31:51Speaker 3: That we chose to start.
- 31:53Speaker 2: So you know, as long as the straight ofform moves
- 31:56Speaker 2: remains closed, the war continues on and it continues to
- 31:59Speaker 2: be devastating for everybody in the world, the global economy,
- 32:02Speaker 2: developing world. I was already seeing, you know, in India
- 32:05Speaker 2: a bunch of restaurants have had to close because they
- 32:07Speaker 2: don't have gas to cook with. People already got long
- 32:10Speaker 2: cues for exactly that kind of you know gas that
- 32:13Speaker 2: they use for their cooking. So you're already having huge
- 32:16Speaker 2: global repercussions. Obviously you're seeing the repercussions at the gas pump,
- 32:20Speaker 2: so you know that is extraordinarily important. The other thing
- 32:23Speaker 2: I was thinking about soccer is think about Trump's timeline here. Okay,
- 32:27Speaker 2: so he announces this right before markets open on Monday,
- 32:30Speaker 2: and he's like five days of a ceasefire.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Well, guess what that puts us.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Said market clothes on Friday, so that he can you know,
- 32:37Speaker 2: do whatever he's going to do next then. And so
- 32:40Speaker 2: you know, I continue to think that this is this
- 32:42Speaker 2: is him trying to buy some time for him to
- 32:46Speaker 2: make a decision on whatever is going to come next.
- 32:49Speaker 2: The Iranians do not seem like they're backing down at all,
- 32:51Speaker 2: and these Raelis continue to attack, So you know, if
- 32:55Speaker 2: he's serious about actually de escalating and try and find
- 32:59Speaker 2: some sort of an off ramp claiming mission accomplished in
- 33:02Speaker 2: some sort of sense, the first thing you have to
- 33:05Speaker 2: do before you even put out your message about how
- 33:08Speaker 2: we're going to give it five days, first thing you
- 33:10Speaker 2: got to do is call if your attack dogs in Israel.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Clearly that did not happen, and you know.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Again I would be very skeptical of claims that Trump
- 33:19Speaker 2: always so mad at the Israelis for attacking the Iranian infrastructure.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I would be very skeptical about these claims. So you know,
- 33:25Speaker 2: it's all market manipulation and game playing as far as
- 33:28Speaker 2: I can tell.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Exactly, that's you know, final like in terms of what
- 33:31Speaker 1: we know as of this morning. That's what it all is.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It's all about trying to calm markets. It's all about
- 33:36Speaker 1: trying to I mean, if you think about it tomorrow,
- 33:39Speaker 1: maybe we'll cover the TSA stuff. It genuinely feels like
- 33:43Speaker 1: things are falling apart at the most basic level. So
- 33:46Speaker 1: you had the Atlanta airport this morning say you should
- 33:48Speaker 1: arrive four hours before your flight. Trump is trying to
- 33:51Speaker 1: do something about it by sending ICE agents to the airports, who,
- 33:54Speaker 1: by the way, aren't trained to do anything and all
- 33:57Speaker 1: there's all they're literally going to do is sit there
- 33:59Speaker 1: and be like go over there, right to a leave
- 34:01Speaker 1: the airport too, which Trump just told him not to do.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Trumps put out a truth, he said, please don't wear
- 34:06Speaker 1: your mask in the airport. So you have, first of all,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you think people are gonna like that. I mean, we
- 34:11Speaker 1: have a limit of very polarized country. Maybe some people
- 34:14Speaker 1: will like it in Maga country. In the rest New
- 34:17Speaker 1: York LaGuardia, don't think it's going to go over that well.
- 34:19Speaker 1: So you have to stand in a long ass line
- 34:21Speaker 1: and then look at the most politicized agency in the
- 34:23Speaker 1: entire what in the entire US government while you directly
- 34:27Speaker 1: see the consequences of a government failure with TSA lines,
- 34:31Speaker 1: while you're in the middle of an unpopular war. While
- 34:33Speaker 1: let's say you do let's say you get some flight
- 34:35Speaker 1: credit and you cancel your flight and you want to
- 34:37Speaker 1: book in the future. Oh sorry, your flight's actually doubled
- 34:40Speaker 1: in price because jet fuel is going for two hundred
- 34:42Speaker 1: dollars a barrel. On your way home, it's going to
- 34:45Speaker 1: cost more because of I mean, this is like failed
- 34:47Speaker 1: state stuff. Like when you see the gas go up
- 34:50Speaker 1: by a dollar a gallon in a single month, diesel,
- 34:54Speaker 1: everything is all start to get more expensive. It just
- 34:56Speaker 1: feels like you can't do anything anymore, even just normally, right,
- 35:00Speaker 1: And that's the worst possible thing. Government rarely touches you
- 35:03Speaker 1: directly in your life, so like so effectively, you know,
- 35:08Speaker 1: tens of millions of people fly every single day in
- 35:10Speaker 1: the country. Every single one of them's gonna have a story.
- 35:12Speaker 1: They're going to talk about it when they go home,
- 35:13Speaker 1: post about it on social media. Everybody's posting about gas prices. Now.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Everybody's got a friend in California who's sending them a
- 35:21Speaker 1: seven dollars callon thing, posting it on their Instagram story,
- 35:25Speaker 1: Like this is bad for not just for Trump, but
- 35:27Speaker 1: like for real, like any any sort of semblance of
- 35:32Speaker 1: like confidence in your government. Yeah, and he really takes
- 35:34Speaker 1: a long time to come back.
- 35:36Speaker 3: And that's from something like that, And that's what were
- 35:37Speaker 3: even mentioned. There was this deadly collision in LaGuardia.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Yes, oh my god, right, forty.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Plus people taken to the hospital after a plane I'm
- 35:46Speaker 2: not sure which airline it.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Was for Canada.
- 35:48Speaker 2: One of the people light which yeah, collided with the
- 35:50Speaker 2: truck that was on the you know, at the airport there,
- 35:54Speaker 2: and so you know, and who knows whose fault that is.
- 35:56Speaker 2: But we certainly seem to have a lot more of
- 35:58Speaker 2: these accidents recently. And I saw something was going on
- 36:01Speaker 2: at New Newark Airport air traffic control too. So the
- 36:04Speaker 2: whole thing is just yeah, yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 1: We had it here in entirety. We had four of
- 36:09Speaker 1: our airports shutdown because the regional air traffic control had
- 36:13Speaker 1: a bad smell. Look, I mean it must have been
- 36:17Speaker 1: really bad to shut it all that. I mean, you
- 36:19Speaker 1: can't be shutting down air traffic in the entire one
- 36:21Speaker 1: with everybody knows, yes, nobody knows to the day time
- 36:24Speaker 1: what that was. They're smoking Newark liberty. I mean, just
- 36:27Speaker 1: put all these things together and yeah, like trying to
- 36:29Speaker 1: make plans or trying to like function in our society
- 36:32Speaker 1: day it's nuts. You can't fly anywhere, you don't want
- 36:34Speaker 1: to drive anywhere, you want to do anything. I mean,
- 36:36Speaker 1: it just really makes you feel a sense of like
- 36:38Speaker 1: terrible malaise whenever you're trying to do anything. And even
- 36:42Speaker 1: if you're trying to buy a house right now, you're like, well,
- 36:44Speaker 1: I thought the mortgage rate has come down, oops, back
- 36:46Speaker 1: up to seven percent. It's just anybody who's trying to
- 36:50Speaker 1: do anything has been directly affected in the last couple
- 36:53Speaker 1: of months by this exact crisis. That is the worst
- 36:56Speaker 1: possible thing for you. Again, as Joe Biden found out,
- 36:59Speaker 1: the very very hard weight never came back from it.
- 37:01Speaker 1: And I don't know if anybody in this administration's ever
- 37:03Speaker 1: coming back from this nightmare now so far, so there
- 37:06Speaker 1: you go. As we said, we're very sorry to miss
- 37:08Speaker 1: mister Wilkerson. We'll be happy to get him back here
- 37:11Speaker 1: on the show whenever we can. We've had a few things.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Daylight Savings has been a major problem for some of
- 37:17Speaker 1: our I promised I wouldn't make it into a big
- 37:20Speaker 1: thing out of respect for the war, but it's starting
- 37:22Speaker 1: a great on me how things are going. Anyways, we're
- 37:25Speaker 1: about to do our ama, so we'll see you all later.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Thank you all so much for watching.
