- 0:44So this could go anyway and I honestly right keys on a pot.
- 0:48Let's go. Five, four, three, two, one.
- 0:59Welcome back to have stuff with a blunt penknife the Doctor Who
- 1:03Coventry podcast. I've just said, if I'm going to
- 1:07say it again for everyone else's benefit, we're inversion
- 1:09territory today. Well for way, I'm stung Coventry
- 1:15with all with existing contributors.
- 1:18So I'm going to introduce everybody and say hello.
- 1:22And if you could tell people out, One story.
- 1:26You've got a commentary on before.
- 1:27Okay. So first of all Lucy McCool hey,
- 1:31hello. So I my first story that I did
- 1:34was the Falls of access fabulous will it?
- 1:38We have got talk about Jon Pertwee for how episodes.
- 1:40Yep. And mr.
- 1:42Dave Rennie, hello there. One of the ones I did was the
- 1:46weather is experiment. Oh, yeah.
- 1:49And my office. I you Champion that one very
- 1:52well. Well, Champion a Lazarus
- 1:54experiment, anytime. I've noticed you've started
- 1:57using that Fillmore Barlow gif as much.
- 2:11I'm going to start using this. Absolutely gorgeous, mr.
- 2:15Daniel, know it. Hello.
- 2:18The first one we did was Destiny of the Daleks.
- 2:22Well, that was bold. It was great fun.
- 2:27Just, I just sorry you were saying, sorry, I keep
- 2:31interrupting now. Go on off you go.
- 2:34Well, I was just going to my main memory of that is that you
- 2:37asked me? How long is a rare?
- 2:39Hell, I sort of panicked thinking.
- 2:41I've got to think of something funny and I said six inches.
- 2:46That's And you said, I'll tell you that we've got new super
- 2:51cool, where, and she's got a brigadier woolly on Earth but
- 2:54hey, at least I've got mine as well.
- 2:58There we go. He says we're going to turn
- 2:59around. Okay, so we're to avoid those
- 3:03all sort of jumping in a par when talking at the same time.
- 3:05Let's help to moderate this thing as best I can.
- 3:09So straight off, I'm going to ask Lucy to say what story were
- 3:13talking about. Okay, so we're talking about
- 3:17planet of evil, and now I'm going to ask Dave water for free
- 3:21people. Clamor Don's to Planet as evil
- 3:24because only quote, maybe mr. Say, heart or good friend at the
- 3:27other calls it, the planet of Richard evil.
- 3:29It's not the planet vegetable, it's actually a bloody good
- 3:31story. He hates Italy.
- 3:34Oh, he doesn't like me at all, but season 13, this one always
- 3:38gets sort of ignored, but Advocates, rather, wonderful.
- 3:43Okay. Well, I'll tell you what.
- 3:45We'll have a lot to say about this story, but should we skip
- 3:47into episode 1? Are you all ready?
- 3:52I'll take that as a. Yes, yes, no one said anything.
- 3:55Okay, so Daniel, if you could count as in, Okay here we go. 5
- 4:024 3 2 1. Go.
- 4:08Off we go. And immediately, I want to ask
- 4:11you all when you first Watch Planet of evil and what you
- 4:14thought of it, the first time you saw it, Lucy as far as I can
- 4:19remember because I think I may have seen some repeats of Tom
- 4:23Baker Doctor, Who's further back that?
- 4:25I don't remember. As far as I remember, it was in
- 4:29the last couple of years. When I was doing my grandma, my
- 4:33grandma, Discovery and rediscovery of it.
- 4:36The first thing that cheered me about it, Is that it's written
- 4:38by Louis Marx, who is a writer who I have a lot of time for.
- 4:41And is a very, very interesting man and I really quite enjoyed
- 4:47it. I think there are things about
- 4:50it that have perhaps been done and more successfully and Other
- 4:53Stories possibly will come to that later on.
- 4:56But I did like it. I like the setting.
- 4:58I I'm a sucker for People sort of imbibing, mysterious
- 5:04substances in turning into great hairy creatures.
- 5:08So, which is, which was most satisfying after the visual
- 5:12effects, which kind of didn't quite land for me, quite so
- 5:15well, but no, and I liked it when I first saw it.
- 5:18But then I didn't. So I didn't forsee it as a
- 5:20child. I first saw it as a had felt
- 5:25About you Dave. The first time I watched this
- 5:29was the VHS release with a colon home.
- 5:32At always championed the corner rule DHS, covers that brilliant
- 5:35and this one is particularly good and I loved it as a like
- 5:40season 15. I'm getting more.
- 5:41As I grew up warranty all later. Tom, you know, the more jockey
- 5:46but Samantha is still really one of my favorite seasons and they
- 5:51visit, I mean, we've just seen the jungle and if that's the
- 5:54case, drunken Doctor Who feel stop, don't care what anyone
- 5:57says. And yeah, I just stopped.
- 6:01Who does dr. Jekyll and mr.
- 6:03Hyde really yeah and I like oh it wasn't the gothic territory
- 6:07or so. Yeah it's straight on my street.
- 6:10My you Daniel well because I didn't I think I might be the
- 6:15oldest one. I have a vague memory or
- 6:17actually a very strong memory of seeing.
- 6:19And I think it must have been the repeat of the story.
- 6:23I only remember the first few seconds of part 3, The reprise
- 6:29of the Cliffhanger and I've it was at my grandparents house in
- 6:32Scotland and it must have been the summer repeat because it was
- 6:35icy members. Very it was Daylight, but then
- 6:38just remember that bit. But like everyone else.
- 6:41My first memory is of, is the VHS in whatever year 1994.
- 6:48It came out just after Christmas, I seem to remember
- 6:51and I bought it and came home and watched its or late
- 6:54afternoon early evening with just the Christmas tree.
- 6:57It's on. And it was beautifully
- 6:59atmospheric. Okay, so that's just it's funny.
- 7:02You should say that because this is I don't know if you guys have
- 7:05a Christmas Doctor Who story, but when my tree goes up every
- 7:08year, I watch this story by the Christmas tree lights every
- 7:13single year. I why this is my Christmas
- 7:15story. Now I can understand that
- 7:19because it, yeah, I mean, you could argue that the antimatter
- 7:21monster is a bit like a Christmas tree coming out.
- 7:25But that was, that was that Grandparents had a black and
- 7:28white TV quite quite on into the instant 1980.
- 7:31So I would I would have seen it in black and white and I would
- 7:34have been three of the time and I just saw the saw these lights
- 7:37coming up and grabbing the doctrine that doctor falling.
- 7:40And I apparently I said, oh look pretty lights.
- 7:43And I remember Sarah's shouting doctor and that's and then
- 7:46rushing out the room. I don't know whether I was
- 7:48terrified. Also just really getting into it
- 7:51but yeah, it's quite so potent memory and just remember more,
- 7:56you know my grandparents they lived in In a little village
- 7:58called Lumsden up in the middle of nowhere in Aberdeen, shh.
- 8:02And so, one of my earliest memories but I don't really
- 8:05remember much about much else about the story until I saw it
- 8:08on the video. We've just detailed was what you
- 8:12have just eat out. Some very good reasons as to why
- 8:16this story might be quite popular but I think this might
- 8:20be one of the Lesser regarded stories of this season I'll go
- 8:25live what sort of nodding their heads that's Why do you think
- 8:29that might be Lucy? I don't know if it's in
- 8:34comparison to the other stories. So like sometimes a story it
- 8:39seems gets a bit sort of buried by the things around it.
- 8:43So this comes immediately after zygons which is phenomenal.
- 8:48And has the Loch Ness monster and Terry and Brilliant sort of
- 8:55non-human semi-human villains. And I suppose this is more of a
- 9:00change because it's more sort of a serious.
- 9:04It has less jokey bits in it. I'm just watching this guy
- 9:07running through the jungle and it really looks like nighttime.
- 9:10It's brilliant or well that bitch just then was like it was
- 9:17on film which I don't know the difference, but he ran through
- 9:19and they all look like they've been that.
- 9:20They will really look like they've been there for months,
- 9:22don't they? And that it's been really hard,
- 9:25and they've got nothing left. And they're all Absolutely
- 9:28shattered and haven't had a bath for ages.
- 9:31No but they do and he's it to put that level of detail into
- 9:35the sort of the makeup and stuff rather than the rather than them
- 9:39just being out there in the jungle.
- 9:42You wouldn't normally talk to you so Christine isn't it all
- 9:44the rooms are you guys totally 80s and everyone's costumes?
- 9:47They look absolutely. As if they just come out of the
- 9:49dry cleaners every week but this you turned with the sort of the
- 9:53invisible, we can't see that we can't even see the in.
- 9:57Visibility of the invisible monster yet was just nothing and
- 10:00this man screaming at nothing and then Vanishing.
- 10:03What do you think then Dave? Why would you, why would you
- 10:05think, people wouldn't like this, like you said.
- 10:07So, I heart. This is one of his least
- 10:09favorite stories. Well sighs City be that.
- 10:13It's because, as Lucy said, it's not, it's more serious.
- 10:16It has got this joke, significant and it for me,
- 10:19that's why it stands out as being one of my favorites in
- 10:23that season because like, for example, case of understanding
- 10:27hazard, I'm not seeing this as a good.
- 10:28Does that story, but that he said that stands out so much as
- 10:31you can't do that every week like yeah, I don't think you
- 10:33could do plan of evil every week because it would be too serious.
- 10:37But as I went off in the season, I think it sounds great for the
- 10:41a bit of reason. But I Echo what we see say this
- 10:44because it's got elements of Mars was once a that's called
- 10:47Terror of the zygons on the other, this one's slightly gets
- 10:49forgotten along with Android Envision in this.
- 10:52He said she talked to me about Android invasion.
- 10:58It's just downstairs. All right, I say it's because if
- 11:06you think about the other story of his in this season, you in
- 11:09Terror of the zygons, you got proton.
- 11:11You in this story. You don't have a big bad.
- 11:14You've got so many good feelings in this season.
- 11:16You got proton, you've got Sue Tech, you've got morbius and
- 11:20Solon, you got Harrison chase, you could also argue got sticker
- 11:24on the crow leader in the Android Invasion and and the guy
- 11:28who plays it really gives it his all.
- 11:31Yeah. You don't actually have a big
- 11:34villain. You duck.
- 11:35The the, it's called plans of evil but really the planet isn't
- 11:39evil because it's kind of acting on self-defense.
- 11:41So then you look at, well, is its Alomar, Who's the, who kind
- 11:45of is really? But he's really an irritant.
- 11:49He's not a villain. He's just a Jobs worth.
- 11:52I think Prentiss Hancock said he read the script and thought this
- 11:54is that this guy has been Is is in charge of the spaceship
- 11:58because it's dancing charge of the spaceship.
- 12:00So he's sort of been put in this position of authority.
- 12:03See even though he's clearly incompetent and his
- 12:06second-in-command is the experienced one and knows what
- 12:08he's supposed to be doing and I know a lot of fans don't
- 12:13particularly rape Prentiss Hancock's performance in this or
- 12:16indeed in anything else but I think he's always and I think
- 12:22he's actually really good. I think he's As it's written in
- 12:27the is a, is a sniveling. Little daddy's boy whose only in
- 12:31charge because Dad's in charge of that at the fleet and these
- 12:35he's got this job. You know, we've all worked with
- 12:37people who are kind of, you know, in the job because of who
- 12:40they're related to not necessarily because they're the
- 12:42best person for the job. And I think, I think it's
- 12:45actually quite a good performance.
- 12:47I'm just distracted by his hideous.
- 12:50Chicken Chester's. Coming out of that top.
- 12:52Oh yes, the load the low-cut tops and not really great other
- 12:56I've just noticed. Look there's a ceiling For You.
- 12:58Joe what? There's a, what ceiling shooting
- 13:07up? What is this?
- 13:10It's a two-tier set, which is a bit more interesting than your
- 13:14usual. Yeah, well there's four cents
- 13:17key with these I think they always remember the Legion of
- 13:21Doom in the wrestling, with the big shoulders of what they did.
- 13:24They get inspiration from this? I don't know, but you and Solon
- 13:28is so good. Anyway, he's yeah, he's yeah,
- 13:33he's a view. Any of you seen the 1960s
- 13:36maigret, that's on talking pictures TV, he's Sergeant.
- 13:41Luca in that with Rupert Davis and he's just fabulous, you
- 13:45know, sort of smooth Charming, but sort of a bit go.
- 13:48Goofy as well and just brilliant.
- 13:51So yes, I really like him. I really like him in this part
- 13:53and I like him, like Daniel said, well, you've got the sort
- 13:58of nervy promoted above his capabilities bloke, and he's the
- 14:03reliable older officer who's really got to run things.
- 14:06But without in the end, he pretty, he stops pretending,
- 14:10doesn't he? Stop pretending that the other
- 14:12guys in charge, but he's got to pretend that the other Chaps in
- 14:16charge when really, he's doing all the Important stuff.
- 14:20When the shit hits the fan Prentiss Hancock was an absolute
- 14:22breakdown. Doesn't he like yeah.
- 14:25Yeah the problem with him is that he's playing the same part
- 14:27as obviously planet of the Daleks and I think that's
- 14:30obviously another reason why I think people You know, that they
- 14:37don't like his performance, because he's literally come back
- 14:40and he's playing the same character.
- 14:41It's like the Steven Seagal effect where he's just playing
- 14:44the same guy Century. Always He's basically just the
- 14:57fellow at the console delivery date.
- 14:59You sure that's. Yeah, he's that's it.
- 15:02There's an episode of space 1999 where they they land on a new
- 15:05planet and he's sort of he finds this fungus and he has he has
- 15:09sort of like that. I can't remember which one it
- 15:12is. It.
- 15:12But he had a sort of trips on this, on this stuff and they all
- 15:15just he gets all quite bossy and quite aggressive.
- 15:19And there's a big fist fight with him.
- 15:21And Commander Colonel isn't there, at least.
- 15:25Yeah, he kind of God complex from the Fungus doesn't?
- 15:31Yeah, yeah. And I keep wanting to call his
- 15:35cinnamon because of Mission Impossible, Barbara brains
- 15:39character. Three of them, get stranded
- 15:41three or four of them get stranded on the platter on the
- 15:43planet. And it's like all the others
- 15:45going to going to rescue them in time before he kills everyone
- 15:47and tries to found his own Society.
- 15:49Yeah, I think the episode written by Piven, Jane Baker is
- 15:52it I think so no, no other dialogue, like there's no.
- 15:58Okay, well here we have the Glorious, Tom Baker, and
- 16:02Elisabeth sladen. Yes.
- 16:04Sarah Jane, any thoughts? Lucy.
- 16:09I really like that. I really like this team.
- 16:11I like the way that they spark off each other.
- 16:16I is it's getting sort of towards the point where Sara is
- 16:20kind of know almost had enough of this.
- 16:22Now I just this is getting a bit tiresome but she does score,
- 16:27excuse me. She does go sort of, she does
- 16:28get into the adventure once it gets going.
- 16:31And there's the lovely bit either in this episode or the
- 16:33next one, where she says, well windows open just sort of smiles
- 16:37acting and then juice - 1 XI and XI XI.
- 16:42That's it as well. She's she's she's smart and
- 16:45she's independent minded and she's it's kind of going back to
- 16:50like her an invasion of the dinosaurs or in The time Warrior
- 16:55where she was thinking it all out first self and solving it
- 16:58for self as same time. As the doctor was.
- 17:01What do you think? Dave, although chemistry is
- 17:05absolutely the air, doesn't it's Seattle's cost you - really
- 17:11really like I mean it's one in which she always seemed to have
- 17:14a good cause and Doctor shoot well even then deep and he was
- 17:17good, it was memorable, it was memorable.
- 17:21But the designer on the story it was the only person, the only
- 17:24story, they did and she became an Oscar winner for that gal.
- 17:29I mean what you're seeing are going through the jungle but
- 17:31yeah. See the jeans, just don't make
- 17:35sure every talk just like the best companion.
- 17:38Talk to his neighborhood. It's just fantastic.
- 17:42Jim Anderson won an award for that and a panda costume and
- 17:45Oscar. Lawn of that the designer on
- 17:47this story when plan of evil and I was being facetious.
- 17:49Don't worry hi. What if the doctor is Sarah
- 17:54Daniel They just wonderful out my, I mean, I'm going to repeat
- 17:58myself or what I said with Big Dave on his commentary when we
- 18:01did seeds of Doom. But I could just listen, I could
- 18:03just watch these two forever. Their their chemistry together
- 18:07is so natural that you don't that I know that Liz said about,
- 18:11you know, both both of them liverpudlians that had sort of a
- 18:14similar sense of humor, she would laugh at his jokes.
- 18:18I think this late and said this was her favorite Story girl in
- 18:21the conflict. That's right.
- 18:22I think, because whether It's because she's a bit more
- 18:28independent and a bit more clever.
- 18:30And sort of she does sort of stand up for herself in certain
- 18:35cases and and outsmarts the doctors, Lucy says, with the,
- 18:38with the window, you know, we can get out through the window.
- 18:42Yeah, they're just great together and, you know, that the
- 18:46two of them just really care about each other.
- 18:49And, you know, they they rip each other and they take the
- 18:53Mickey out of each other, but they'll do.
- 18:55They really do care for each other and it's so obvious.
- 18:58Did you guys see that interview with Tom Baker in the Elisabeth
- 19:03sladen documentary, where he almost breaks down at the end
- 19:08where he says she can't bear to watch it to see, Tom Baker
- 19:15upset, it's weird. It's really, It's upsetting
- 19:19because he's normally the life and soul of the party but to see
- 19:21him so upset. About her.
- 19:24It does say something about what she meant to him, though.
- 19:26Doesn't like he said, yeah, they would see each other in reality
- 19:31in the highest tree or something like that and they didn't know
- 19:33how to function around each other because they were used to
- 19:36saving universe together. And so he say something absurd,
- 19:40like, Elizabeth, I'm gonna buy you a fur coat or something like
- 19:43that, you know, often, they're wonderful.
- 19:45And it was grieving for a really, I mean, after she left
- 19:48the show and then of course, what happened with Louise
- 19:50Jameson that there was a, he was a Quite as nice to her as we
- 19:54know, but I think it's somewhere because he was he was lost.
- 19:58Obviously his best friend out there.
- 20:00Obviously were very close behind the scenes as well that's
- 20:04evident. And yeah so I got a quiz for all
- 20:10of you now. Are you ready?
- 20:12I'm going to ask you all to name.
- 20:15I will act to are going to name an actor in this and then I want
- 20:18you to tell me another Doctor Who story that they've been in
- 20:21because pretty much In this cast has been an another Doctor Who
- 20:25story, okay? Okay.
- 20:28So Frederic Yeager's, Professor Sorenson Lucy.
- 20:32I'm useless at this because I have no idea.
- 20:35I've watched them also. Recently, I have no concept and
- 20:38I'm just saying it's just tiredness.
- 20:39He needs a good. He needs a good rest.
- 20:41He's taking over then. Dave, Daniel helper out, he was
- 20:46in the Savages and the invisible enemy and of course, yes, of
- 20:51course, he was yet canines. Later.
- 20:54Okay. What about you and so long as
- 20:56the schinsky? Oh, I think it was seen on the
- 21:00Savages as well. He was.
- 21:01Yeah. Okay.
- 21:05Daniel, what about Prentice Hancock every story?
- 21:09That brings every story. Yeah.
- 21:11Come on. Those planets at this planet of
- 21:13the Daleks? Yeah, always.
- 21:17Had spared from space, as well. As he plays that a reporter in
- 21:20the first episode. There's one more.
- 21:27I don't think it's time Rebus operation.
- 21:34Yes he is. Isn't this console sexy?
- 21:37I think this is the best Tardis console.
- 21:39You know, the classic era. Yeah, this is the first time
- 21:41we've seen it in terms time. I don't know.
- 21:44They haven't showed on screen before it's the first story.
- 21:47Yeah, it wasn't in season 12 at all because yeah, they were on
- 21:52their phone or that you never saw insights artists.
- 21:55Yeah, yeah, and then it's in period.
- 21:57Four miles, isn't it after this? Yeah, I think pretty mr.
- 22:00Mars was me before their suffering, but stress was just
- 22:03made first. So what do you guys think of the
- 22:08contrast there between the very detailed?
- 22:12Jungle sex is what? A lot of people complain about
- 22:15that. The jungle says for is looks
- 22:16amazing and the spaceship sets look very sparse I think it's
- 22:24well it's just a spaceship, isn't it?
- 22:26Does it does it really matter? It's got buttons to press and
- 22:29it's got, you've got the sense of there being in tea rooms.
- 22:32You've got two levels on the Command Deck thing where they
- 22:38are now, I didn't get the I don't remember thinking when I
- 22:43watched it, go to the ship's a bit shit.
- 22:47I think I just thought, oh well it's to be and it strikes me
- 22:50from there also from their uniforms and stuff.
- 22:52They just Just looks a bit kind of all run down, so I don't
- 22:56know. I've never said, it's a
- 23:01spaceship need to be. I think is literally well, I
- 23:06think like, when when a person is going around their sequences
- 23:10of Thornton, where you can just see the shadow of him against
- 23:13the wall, and things like that. So they're going for like proper
- 23:16old horror techniques. Yeah, there's definitely a sense
- 23:19of it of it. Being an interior as well and
- 23:23any, and a room, rather than sort of a corner of a studio, I
- 23:26think. And to be honest, if you're
- 23:29going to spend money, you need and you've got a jungle to make
- 23:32best to spend the money on making the jungle, look as good
- 23:34as it as it does. And if you have to scrimp a
- 23:38little bit, with the, the spaceship sets, I don't think
- 23:41it's a problem and you got nice, you know, flashing lights and
- 23:45concert and control panels and things like that.
- 23:47It looks fine and two layers. And in this there's a corridor
- 23:51says well which is God steps in two layers levels to it as well.
- 23:55Now it's definitely really swimming.
- 23:57Is, oh, yeah, people do like a, when you stay out Doctor Who
- 24:00fans. Remember for the is no.
- 24:03It's very clever as well. But they have the, the hatch,
- 24:06the outside hatch on the spaceship, and then that level
- 24:09this jump down into the jungle set, so that suggests as well.
- 24:14That there's an exit to the spaceship.
- 24:16It's Roger morning. Which again, doesn't it is just
- 24:18a genius, a designer on top and just ask for them as for the
- 24:22model work. I don't have a problem with that
- 24:29but then perhaps, I'm just easily pleased are there.
- 24:33We all know, but there we go. Yeah, this drink, they could
- 24:37have got thickest string, maybe because it does look now,
- 24:40especially now that. Yeah, but that's the guy who's
- 24:47the Corporal in Android Invasion.
- 24:51Oh, Max is about to Faulkner's up Yeah, but look, there, they
- 24:56feel that said, full of dry ice and then they've got a light
- 25:00behind this basic to suggest like engines.
- 25:04I mean that's jungles just incredible.
- 25:05Absolutely. I mean, there's water in it.
- 25:07Those strange-looking quantity of it, it just looks
- 25:11astonishingly good I mean Where does he get a vision for that
- 25:15sort of thing? I mean it's just genius.
- 25:18I would have actually went to the film's theme.
- 25:20Forbidden Planet. I've never seen it.
- 25:23I've never seen it either know. Yeah, years ago.
- 25:26Yeah, memory of it because this is this is sort of an
- 25:28inspiration for this as well as know it.
- 25:30Yeah. The station to Chez Panisse.
- 25:32Yeah. Invisible monsters from the ID.
- 25:36I've also seen the musical return to the Vivid return to
- 25:39the Forbidden Planet, which is made up mostly of 1950s, pop
- 25:47songs. And quotes from Shakespeare,
- 25:50isn't there supposed to be based on the Tempest?
- 25:54It's easier? See, a vaguely, there's a
- 25:57scientist who's been stranded on the Forbidden Planet with his
- 26:02daughter and he's managed to access.
- 26:07The subconscious the monsters in the subconscious mind which is
- 26:10the monster from the eat, which is this invisible thing, that it
- 26:14becomes visible in a similar way to the creatures in this, and it
- 26:17stores as the Romantic lead. Listen, Enos Leslie Nielsen?
- 26:21Oh, before he started to before, I airplane, oh, wow.
- 26:26It's famous. It's famous.
- 26:27Also, for the robot, I can't remember what it's called, but
- 26:31it's a famous sort of step forward in science fiction,
- 26:34because it's got a Friendly robot.
- 26:37That works with the crew long before Lost in Space.
- 26:42Well, I'm probably about the same time actually because Lost
- 26:45in Space was on the Telly, wasn't it?
- 26:47Danger? Danger, Lucy, they oh I saw that
- 26:53film The Modern Lost in Space film as a sort of informal,
- 26:58double bill with the 1990s Godzilla.
- 27:01And after about 10 minutes, my brain tried to escape through my
- 27:04ears. Yeah, that phone is just off,
- 27:08and I never seen that as well and disappearing.
- 27:11What do you think of this? Because this is one of the very
- 27:13early electronic effects. Isn't it?
- 27:15The antimatter creature actually good?
- 27:18Yeah, I think it's a really effective way of realizing to
- 27:22make it look different. Have any of you ever seen the
- 27:27outtake from that Cliffhanger? Where they're going?
- 27:30Keep going? This, keep going more screaming,
- 27:32lives. I mean, she would always give it
- 27:36her all. Oh my God, she was one of the
- 27:39crew. Yeah, Morelli.
- 27:42Yeah. There's a bit in the park, but
- 27:44he points and goes outside god brother or something.
- 27:47Yeah, you know what, you know, very Impala.
- 27:52Sick. Moment there is an Indian
- 27:55character in this call. Orange it and it is.
- 27:57Michael wish are doing an Indian accent.
- 28:00Yes. I know.
- 28:01It's the seventies remember but they have a there is a black
- 28:05actor as part of the part of the crew.
- 28:08Yeah, Louis. Mahoney and adults as well, I'll
- 28:11go on Dave's gone. Eames, and then Frontier in
- 28:15spaces as your news reader and that, yes, but much more modern
- 28:20than that. What's tourism?
- 28:22Oh, yes. He wasn't white.
- 28:24Yeah, that's the old man in there.
- 28:28Yeah, that's a Brilliance another of that stuff.
- 28:32I was that that came up on the randomizer the other way because
- 28:35well, that was amazing. Well, that ends episode ones.
- 28:38Doctor, Who Trivial Pursuit off like very much for your
- 28:43participation, you've always quit.
- 28:46Hey, hey, I've made a decision on the spot here and I'm going
- 28:55to say it whilst we're recording.
- 28:57So I asked her out. Open are moderated.
- 28:58Episode one more someone else's intro, an episode to collect
- 29:02take over the juiz. So we'll be back for episode 2
- 29:08as moderated by mr. Davis, we'll be back but I'll
- 29:20cut it there pressure Dave. All right?
