- 2:10Speaker 2: let's go, let's cover here.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's the story you needs to hear to believe, then
- 2:14Speaker 1: grab your popcorn, because well there is so much more.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Uh.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Scott Besens, he's the Treasury secretary. You've seen pictures, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: he was over at this event with it was put
- 2:30Speaker 1: on by the New York Times. Put on by the
- 2:34Speaker 1: New York Times. And I always forget the guy's name.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I think I called him Aaron Sorkin, and I don't
- 2:41Speaker 1: think his name first name is Aaron.
- 2:43Speaker 2: He's over there at CNBC. He's doing the hosting at this.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Event, and some of the conversations are the standard conversations
- 2:54Speaker 1: you would expect a left leaning.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Journalists quote unquote.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And I don't specific particularly mind Sorkin, but he is
- 3:05Speaker 1: what he is in terms of his his leanings. And
- 3:09Speaker 1: the kind of response is you would expect from somebody
- 3:11Speaker 1: who is in a Trump cabinet, for example, like this.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I told a friend of mine the other day, I said,
- 3:17Speaker 3: you know, if Donald Trump invented a cure for cancer,
- 3:20Speaker 3: the Democrats would say and the mainstream media would.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Say, yeah, but it causes dandruff, Yeah, that's crazy.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Like and the Wall Street Journal, in one of their
- 3:30Speaker 3: few good editorials lately, had a piece the other day
- 3:33Speaker 3: by a clinical psychiatrist and the question was, is there
- 3:38Speaker 3: Trump arrangement syndrome? Is it a psychological condition?
- 3:42Speaker 2: And he concluded it is absolutely is absolutely is.
- 3:47Speaker 1: So he makes those comments and then he is on
- 3:49Speaker 1: this this panel over there and he's admitting, I don't
- 3:54Speaker 1: even read the New York Times.
- 3:56Speaker 3: The question is how should we this is like a
- 3:58Speaker 3: new this a new.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Normal that Andrew, there's no new normal.
- 4:02Speaker 3: And you know, I can tell you that I actually
- 4:06Speaker 3: don't read the New York Times anymore. That sometimes I
- 4:09Speaker 3: do watch CNBC, but you know, occasionally people send me
- 4:14Speaker 3: articles and like there's just this fever swamp and you know,
- 4:18Speaker 3: you're you're now a pop historian with nineteen twenty nine,
- 4:21Speaker 3: and you know, in twenty thirty, forty fifty years, the
- 4:25Speaker 3: New York Times is no longer the paper record. You
- 4:29Speaker 3: can't go like, you know, I read this article like
- 4:31Speaker 3: President Trump is slowing down President Trump's mineral capacity.
- 4:35Speaker 2: It is one hundred percent fake.
- 4:38Speaker 3: That like he only called me twice at two in
- 4:41Speaker 3: the morning last week instead of three times.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Saying he called you. I believe that he called.
- 4:46Speaker 4: You that like that, that whole narrative you had what
- 4:50Speaker 4: was the greatest, one of the greatest scandals of all time,
- 4:54Speaker 4: that the coverage of the Biden administration, Joe Biden's diminished
- 4:58Speaker 4: capacity and the cover up.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And that's now.
- 5:03Speaker 1: This is coming up again because in the cabinet meeting
- 5:07Speaker 1: a couple of days, I remember I covered the cabinet meetings.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Live, uh, and I didn't notice it.
- 5:14Speaker 1: President Trump appears to a couple of times have dozed
- 5:17Speaker 1: off for a moment there, closed his eyes like he
- 5:20Speaker 1: was resting.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Got up, he's too old up.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Look at that fallen asleep in the cabinet meeting, and
- 5:27Speaker 1: they're all discussing it, and they're making fun of it.
- 5:30Speaker 2: The point that Besent.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Is making here is that your part of a machine
- 5:36Speaker 1: that won't even admit that you covered up for Joe
- 5:39Speaker 1: Biden when he was clearly mentally incapacitated.
- 5:42Speaker 3: What was the greatest, one of the greatest scandals of
- 5:44Speaker 3: all time, that the coverage of the Biden administration, Joe
- 5:49Speaker 3: Biden's diminished capacity and the cover up. And raise Ques,
- 5:54Speaker 3: where was the New York Times. We just had a
- 5:56Speaker 3: three hour cabinet meeting yesterday, Andrew. For ten months the
- 6:01Speaker 3: Biden administration did not have a cabinet meeting. How are
- 6:04Speaker 3: you going to in vote the twenty fifth Amendment if
- 6:07Speaker 3: the cabinet secretaries never see the president, which they didn't.
- 6:12Speaker 3: That you know, I hear from people in the Treasury
- 6:14Speaker 3: building that I see President Trump more in a day
- 6:17Speaker 3: than my predecessor saw Joe Biden in half a year.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Now, there's no question that that's true.
- 6:26Speaker 2: But I want to make sure we're all on the
- 6:28Speaker 2: same page.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We're allowed to notice that Donald Trump dozed off in
- 6:33Speaker 1: a cabinet meeting. We're all allowed to notice that. We
- 6:38Speaker 1: could say how human it is, and that you've done it,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and that I've done it, but it did happen. What
- 6:45Speaker 1: we cannot do is let people who still refuse to
- 6:51Speaker 1: admit the cover up of Joe Biden decide that therefore
- 6:55Speaker 1: something has to happen. We get to decide that these
- 6:58Speaker 1: are the rules that they can create it, and the
- 7:02Speaker 1: Left doesn't get to give us now new rules that
- 7:05Speaker 1: we can't listen to.
- 7:07Speaker 2: What it is that you just told us are the rules?
- 7:10Speaker 1: You said, this is all okay, you said, defend your
- 7:13Speaker 1: guy at all costs, You said, don't notice things me.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna notice everything because I just can't help myself.
- 7:20Speaker 1: But I'm not going to take any lectures from progressives
- 7:23Speaker 1: on what to do about it. You know what I
- 7:26Speaker 1: would do. I'd have a two hour meeting, not a
- 7:28Speaker 1: three hour meeting, mister President. I would maybe turn the
- 7:32Speaker 1: air down in the room to make it colder.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's too warm. You get too cozy, right.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I would stop having Pam BONDI say you're so great,
- 7:42Speaker 1: mister President.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Over and over and over again. That'll lull you right
- 7:46Speaker 2: to sleep.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Have a shorter meeting, but get lectured to by by
- 7:56Speaker 1: the left. Part of the reason Trump has these cabinet
- 8:01Speaker 1: meetings in front of the cameras is to show look
- 8:05Speaker 1: at what's happening.
- 8:06Speaker 2: This is what Joe Biden could not do, and his.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Cabinet, which all knew he was mentally impaired, did not
- 8:12Speaker 1: even ask for They all covered it up.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You think Pete Butter Judge is a good guy.
- 8:20Speaker 1: These people, these people knew he was incapable, and they
- 8:25Speaker 1: were like, well, we'll just run the country and instead.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I didn't vote for Pete Butdha Judge. Rational people didn't
- 8:32Speaker 1: vote for Pete Budha Judge. Kamala Harris knew what was
- 8:36Speaker 1: happening and did nothing. That's who these people are, and
- 8:41Speaker 1: then they want a lecture. Nah, I'm better off with
- 8:44Speaker 1: Trump in office. I'm glad Biden and Kamala Harris aren't
- 8:48Speaker 1: in office. But if you think I'm gonna not notice
- 8:50Speaker 1: that the President of the United States is seventy nine
- 8:52Speaker 1: years old and maybe we need a little bit younger,
- 8:55Speaker 1: you're also insane. I'm not gonna notice. I'm not gonna
- 8:59Speaker 1: pretend that it's not happening. I'm going to notice all
- 9:02Speaker 1: of it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Just that easy.
