I hope you all out there are having a fantastic morning. I hope it's going well. I hope you're not plagued by the rain. I hope that the sun is shining where you're at and that everything is aligned just perfectly for you. Hope your Monday was good. My Monday was a bit hectic, but we'll survive, you know. We ⁓ decided to go out and do some grocery shopping. So we we r we ran out, went went and got dinner at a spot that does pokey balls. I got a ball trying to stay in the realm of the Blood type-based diet. It had ⁓ spring mix in it instead of rice, chicken, pineapple, ginger, and carrot and cucumber with a mix of their creamy sriracha sauce and their wasabi sauce. It's pretty good. I don't eat the pokey bowls often because we don't have a place locally in the area that has them. So this place is a little drive away. But definitely. Something nice for a changeup and then eating like that, I don't feel gross. Like it doesn't it doesn't sit heavy. It sits nice and light. So that was yesterday's dinner. And then we hit up ⁓ in Aldi's and went shopping at Aldi's and ended up with Halloween decorations. Yeah. And amongst other things, groceries for the week, et cetera. About a two hundred dollar trip to Aldi's. So you know that we got a lot of stuff, right? But In the grand scheme of things, I feel like any time we ever go to the grocery store, it's a couple hundred dollar endeavor. It's getting absolutely insane. I don't I don't know how Americans specifically are keeping their heads above water. I don't. I don't know if we're racking up a crazy amount of debt right now and just nobody's talking about it. I don't know if people's credit card bills are their credit cards are maxed out. They're just not telling their friends and family members. I don't know. But this shit, this shit's crazy. I you know, I I really weep. For the younger generation, they have no idea what they're getting themselves into. It's I keep it's like it's the ones that are currently like fresh out of high school, like in between that age of like 17 to 21, like in that realm, these morons are lazy, they're self-entitled, they want to work the least amount of hours, they want their parents to continuously do everything for them. They don't want to get an education. And like I like they're they just don't comprehend how things work. Like you could give these kids a brand new car, a brand new house, throw, you know, 20 grand in their bank account. That 20 grand is going to be pissed away on bullshit. Starbucks twice a day. Fucking vapes. Just bullshit that they don't need, that they think they need it in the moment. They're going to piss that 20 grand away. In no time. And then they're going to be sitting there trying to figure out how to pay the car insurance because they don't want to work. And then they're going to lose the the house because they're not going to be able to handle maintaining property tax or even the insurance on it. Or keep the light bills on. Like that they it's it's mind blowing to me where this this youth is currently at. And I don't I don't know where this disconnect happened. Because like my generation, like, you know, we you know, you were in high school and you you could automatically tell the kids who were going places in life and the kids who weren't going places in life, right? Like the ones that desperately just wanted to get out of high school to do nothing. Like just I just want to get out and find a job, that's it. I have no plans on going to college, I'm just gonna do whatever. Well, some of them, you know, got some decent jobs and they they did all right. Other ones have been working dead end jobs for years and they're going nowhere. Nowhere. And then friends that I had that went on to college and, you know, got good jobs, like they're doing phenomenal. Like I'm they're living, they're thriving. Check in with people every once in a while. They're doing they're doing good. But it's like these the new youth, they don't even want the jobs. Like they're taking pay cuts because they're unhappy because the parents have been floating the bills or whatever the case may be. I don't know. It's just It's getting really scary because a lazy society does not net good results. I don't care what you think, I don't care what you believe. The lazier we are as a society, the less things get done and the more everyone else suffers. Like, I don't know if it's like the the if they man, you know, I wonder if they found a way, and watch, we'll see an article pop up about this. I wonder if they found a way to push the socialism agenda subliminally. to the youth and pre-programmed it pre-program the entitlement, pre-program the sense of self-worth, and just everybody else's things are your things. You don't have to work for anything. I wonder if this was all by design. Hmm. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Can't get enough of Jester Dooms? Check out his other show, It's Doomsday Podcast, available on all podcast platforms. That's It's Doomsday Podcast. Back to the show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, joined beside me, 1,000 miles away. In the studio is the forever volumptuous producer scooter. How are you doing, producer scooter? That's good, huh? That's a big smile. ⁓ you have candy. Okay, never mind. Anyway, so on The Epic Times by Zachary Steber, news outlets banned by Trump announce lawsuit. Dun dun dun. So if you didn't know, Trump went ahead and he banned a few news outlets from the White House. And this is what it says. Media outlets on September 21, 21st sued President Donald Trump and other officials over their ban from the White House. The lawsuit says that Trump is targeting the outlets based on their viewpoints, which violates the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment. In quotations, as the Supreme Court has recognized the First Amendment, including its guarantee of free press. reflects as a profound national commitment to the principle that debate on public issues should be uninhibited, robust, and wide open, and that it may well include so what pause for a second. If the Supreme Court finds well, I don't even know what court this should go in front of, but the Supreme Court obviously recognized recognizes the First Amendment and guarantees it. But don't we think for a second that this is going a little too far to ban news outlets? Why wouldn't that why and I and I said this before, why wouldn't news outlets simply be held accountable for spreading false information? Why is that not a fucking thing? And I've been saying this for years. I've been saying this since the George Floyd riots. The news media outlets deliberately put out false information during the George Floyd riots, okay? And They incited violence, chaos, and destruction in streets around the globe. Nobody was held accountable for this. Now, me, old Dooms over here, if I did something on my little shitty show to get the nation fired up and put everybody into a frenzy, you bet your ass I'd be held accountable for it. And I'm not gonna get hung up on the George Floyd thing for very long, but I'll I'll briefly tell you guys what happened. So the news media outlets released little clips that showed. The ending of George Floyd's life. What they failed to show, and what they failed to put out there, was the entire police body cam footage and other eyewitness cell phone footage that they had that showed Floyd in the back of a cop car, totally secured, no problems whatsoever, and complaining of breathing problems. Do you know why? Because it didn't fit the fucking narrative. You see this poor guy who got arrested, okay? And they show you this clip and they show you him on the ground, and then they they you see the video of him screaming, he can't breathe, and then you watch his life leave his body. It's horrific, it's traumatizing, it's it's all the worst things. It's fucking horrible. But if you had some more context to go with it, like I don't know, this dude was complaining of being not able to breathe in the back of the police cruiser and they took him out because they had already called for EMS by following protocol. It's still an unfortunate, tragic event, but it would not have incited the violence. It would have not if it would have not captured news media outlets around the world. Okay. I'm off my soapbox with that. But why not just instead of banning these news outlets from the White House, why not just simply write an executive order? That bans the spreading of mitch misinformation from news media outlets. Hold them accountable. Start finding them something. Anyway. And the Constitution protects the liberty and property interests that news organizations and White House reporters have in their press credentials and the access and access those credentials, afford them to cover the White House for the benefit of the public. No official can deprive plaintiffs of those interests on a whim. With no notice, no process, and no warning, as the president did here. And quotations, this morning we notified the government that we are filing a lawsuit today to protect our First Amendment rights and defend the principle that the government does not decide what the press reports or publishes, politico, CNN, and MS now, said a said in a joint statement. Without notice or process, the White House revoked our journalist credentials because it It objected to our reporting left unchallenged. This threatens press freedom and the public's right to independent journalism free from government interference. The plaintiffs asked the federal court in Washington to declare the ban unconstitutional and immediately block officials from enforcing it. The White House, in response to a request for comment, shared a link to a September twenty first, September twenty-first social media post from the president. Trump wrote on True Social that the White House is not instituting an assault on the free press, something which I cherish, but it is instituting an assault on the fake news, something that has grown like cancer in our beloved United States of America. He later suggested that the judge assigned to the case would rule in favor of the outlets and said in that case, the administration would appeal. Trump announced the ban on September 18th, accusing the outlets of consistently reporting fake news. The ban came into force on Saturday. The White House then removed CNN as scheduled television representative for the poll or group of reporters that follows Trump for September 21st. In response, other networks said they would not carry Trump's comments starting Monday. Trump's previous ban of the Associated Press was partially upheld by an appeals court in 2025. I'm your host, Jester Dooms. You know the rest. Like, share, subscribe. Okay. So if the ban against the Associated Press was semi-upheld, what would be the reason why? What would be the reason why their First Amendment rights wouldn't apply to them? It doesn't make a lot of sense. Now, here's I honestly wholeheartedly think that banning news media outlets from the White House is going a little bit. Overboard. Now you could you could try to propose any argument you want, but here's the fact of the matter: that is the people's house. That is, you know, yes, Trump's residence, whatever, presidential security, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all these things. But that is a taxpayer-funded structure on taxpayer-funded land and should be accessible by news media outlets and or by taxpayers at any point. Unless there is an immediate security risk or threat, press should not be kept out of there. And I think that's a slippery fucking slope. The government does enough shit behind closed doors as it is. They don't put out there anything that that they don't want out there anyway. So in the grand scheme of things, we're only getting a false narrative most of the time anyway. A lot of this shit is a fucking show, it's a facade, it's not real. They're sprinkling pixie dust and you guys are eating it up most of the time. So does this in fact really matter? And is it going to go anywhere? Probably not. Because here's here's the other thing you gotta remember too. If they're if they're banned from entering the White House, they're still not banned on reporting the news. But you know what I think, you know what I think would be a much better option? Okay, so you have a press secretary, right? that does the the does the sharing of information and briefs everybody and blah, blah, blah, and all that shit. And, you know, they tell us what's going on and yada yada yada. Why, ⁓ why, couldn't we do a couple of different things in this realm? Why couldn't we have just a general government feed channel available online, available to stream, something that's kind of going 24 hours a day? That is just letting you know what's happening in the government. You can get all your you want to know what's happening in the country. You click on this channel, you go to this website, it's live streaming 24 hours a day, and it's telling you what's going on with the military, what operations are taking place that can be shared with the general public. You know, what's happening with our money over here, what's happening with our money over there, you know, what's actually going on inside of the White House, how's our money being spent today? Things like that. Just Full disclosure of all the information continuously ran live. And then other news media outlets can can hyperfixate on a little fucking story that they think is big, blow it out of proportion like they always fucking do, and try to say that they have inside sources and eyewitness accounts and all these things. And if you don't want that fucking bullshit, you don't have to go to these news media outlets. You could just stick on this one channel that is just putting out factual information without fucking opinion. All right? Or Here's another thing. Why not not allow any press inside the White House at all? Fuck picking favorites, fuck banning certain news media outlets, just no more inside the White House for this. You guys will get the memos of the happenings or or what have happened in the in the day, and they will all go out to every news media outlet that requests them. And you have your little team there that does this shit. One goes to Fox, one goes to CNN, one goes over here, one goes over there, one goes to Politico, one goes to Epic. It boom. Mass email, all the information. They have people at their company sift through this shit. Boom. They'll save guests. They won't have to go. They decide what stories they want to put out there and how they want to manipulate them. But at the end of the day, if you do this and you take that information you're given about what's going on, and you twist it or manipulate it or or try to put a false narrative on it, you can automatically have your ass in a sling because. If you're putting salt and pepper on something and it wasn't in that email, it wasn't in that memo, it wasn't in what was sent to you, well, now you're fucked. And then the best part about this is the American people would know all these news media outlets are getting the same exact information. And if Fox over here is like, Yeah, so this happened today, and CNN over here is like, ⁓ my God, this crazy dictator, you know, it's like, no, no, no, no. They got the same story. This outlet's being nuts, this one is being normal. Anyway. We'll be right back after these messages. If you have any thoughts about what I just said, go to my website, www.gestersvoice.com, click on the leave a message button and tell me what you think. Or send me an email, doomdaily show at gmail.com, but make it something intelligent if you can. Need a break from reality? Well sometimes I do too. And the place I go to take that break is the Beans and Weenie Show. You can find the link at lingtree.com backslash BWD crew. The Beans and Weenie show where chaos and common sense wage war and you get a front row seat. Ladies gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. So to finish out this article, the court said certain spaces, such as the Oval Officers, are restricted presidential spaces. So the White House retains discretion to determine, including on the bias of viewpoint, which journalists will be admitted. Judges, though, said the administration could not ban the outlet from the White House East Room, at least for now. So again, I said a ⁓ I don't know, about a week ago. on the show that, you know, it's it seems like Trump is going overboard with a lot of the things he's doing. And it has me a little bit, it's it's raising eyebrows for me. And it has me a little bit concerned because it's making me wonder if this isn't a drunk with power situation. If this isn't, I want to keep pushing the envelope, this makes me feel good. How can I keep pushing the envelope? And what kind of results are we going to see? That's what has me really concerned. So during the during the twenty sixteen election, I was really like for Trump because I was really against Hillary. Like really against Hillary. Okay. And it was, you know, I I grew up in an era watching the Clinton administration and seeing the shady shit. And, you know, whenever I started taking an interest in in politics is when you had All the shit going on with Benghazi and her getting caught in all the lies and everything else. And it was like, well, you know, this is this woman's a crook. And then you start looking into the Clinton Foundation and like the money that comes in from all these different sources and how they have their fingers and everything, like, no, the this woman is she's a fucking mobster, man. She doesn't have the interest of our country and the American people at heart. She has her own personal interests at heart. And it's funny because this woman's been she's been in the forefront of the media for decades. And it's like all you gotta do is go back through a few newsreels and watch her flip-flop back and forth from everything to gay marriage, everything she flip-flopped on. And it's like, is that what we want? No. So it just seemed to me at the time that election, it was the lesser of two evils. That's what it had seemed like. Now you had the reelection happen. And it was very clear that Trump was out. You know, he was out for vengeance. You know, he wanted to avenge the last election cycle that was claimed to be stolen. And I gotta tell ya, when it comes to the last election, the math doesn't math. There's way too many weird circumstances that that had happened. I I don't believe it was a fair election. I don't believe there weren't people behind closed doors pulling strings. I don't believe it for a second. Things just do not add up and then with The shit that was taking place on social media with if you talk about it, you're shut down. Okay, that means you don't want the truth out there. We know how this works. Anyway, but now he's back in there and he's got a point to prove. And I think that we are going a little too overboard. All right. I think that it's good to an extent that he's in there shaking things up. But I remember one of the big points. That everybody was talking about that I agreed with with, you know, Trump getting into office was f for less government. Like that was the whole thing. Less government, less government oversight, less government overreach. You know, shrink this government down and let the American people breathe a little bit. We don't need to be the under this umbrella of big brother watching everything and doing everything and everything else. But if you look at what's actually happening, it has went the total fucking other direction, completely opposite. It seems like there's way more prying government eyes than there were before. It seems like the corruption is still there. It's just being shadowed more. And I'm sorry, but ⁓ cost of everything is going up. It's not going down. And then the Fed just hiked the interest rate as well. So I mean, I don't know. If there's things I'm not seeing, let me know. I guess. Send me an email. Doom daily show at gmail dot com. You guys know the email. But this is just like insane to me that things have came this far in that it seems like he's it seems like he's kind of going crazy. And I don't think I want to necessarily live in a country where news media outlets are blockaded from the White House and we're not getting the information. And granted, I get it. These are news media outlets that push false narratives. These are news media outlets that inside chaos. Like he's not fucking wrong. He's not wrong. But if you, if the if he's allowed to do this, it's going to create this trickle-down effect. And every other president that takes office after that is going to know they can get away with this. And if you get somebody that's really shady, if you get somebody in there that is corrupt or evil or whatever, they are going to utilize this to their benefit. And that's the scary thing. Like, do you want a president that's doing crazy shit behind closed doors and the media's trying to pry their way in so they could report on it and they're like, no, get out. I mean, granted, it happens anyway. We don't disclose and report all the dirt, but still, I think it's bad. Anyway, that's all the time we have for today. Come back here tomorrow, Wednesday, for another exciting episode of the Doom Daily Show. Producer Scooter, if you would, hit that button. Jester wants to thank you for listening to the Doom Daily Show. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe. Facts and opinions. This is.
