  Speaker 2: I think everybody showed up. No, there were somebody that

  Speaker 2: did not show up. I understand it was only like four.

  Speaker 1: But it was a great crowd of people, and and

  Speaker 1: I talked to almost everybody there.

  Speaker 2: I tried, I tried the.

  Speaker 1: Room, and I met I talked to some really interesting people,

  Speaker 1: like this couple I was talking to, So what do

  Speaker 1: you do?

  Speaker 2: She's the woman?

  Speaker 1: The wife said, well, I'm a molecular biologists. I help
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: reconstruct genome sequences. I used to do it in the
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: lab and now because I'm really good on the computer,
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: I do it on the People do the lab work
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: and send it to me and I work it out
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: on the computer.

  Speaker 2: Wow. I mean, you know, she got.

  Speaker 1: A degree in microbiology or at the U and a

  Speaker 1: graduate degree. And then I said to her husband, what

  Speaker 1: do you do? And he said, uh, I I stripped
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: the flesh off of dead animals. And he's a taxidermist
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: sort of yeah. He and he reminded me. He called
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: me once or emailed me about it. When little Bill
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: wanted to, you know, take off, he got that dead raccoon.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, the roadkill, the road kill that somebody was in
• 1:31
  Speaker 2: front of.

  Speaker 1: Somebody on the radio said there's there's a dead raccoon
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: in front of your house. Bill, and he heard it
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: and when rent and got it and one and but

  Speaker 1: this this guy does this, uh for for people who
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: want to preserve their pets. So he uh and he said, yeah,
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: I got dead animals all over the house.

  Speaker 2: Oh wow.

  Speaker 1: And you know in the free and yeah, well no,
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: not in the food freezer. I have a big free

  Speaker 1: They are out in the garage. And you know how
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: he does it mostly is with insects. It's a long process.

  Speaker 1: In the insects, he put you he has insects that
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: stripped the flesh off the huh. And then he reconstructs
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: the skeletons and uh. And there are enough people that
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: want to do this that that's a business. Apparently it's
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: a long process. And I said, I'm guessing it doesn't
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: come cheap and he said, no, I charged.

  Speaker 2: Quite a quite a lot for it. Wow.

  Speaker 1: And I said so. But the one funny thing was,

  Speaker 1: I said, so, what's the largest animal you've ever done.

  Speaker 1: He said, I have a horse. I said, what, I
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: have a horse that I've been it'll it's gonna it's
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: a long, long project which will go where I don't
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: I don't know somebody's I didn't get a chance to.

  Speaker 1: I said, I was going to say, can I have it?

  Speaker 1: But he, I said, how did you? He said, my
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: my boss at the time had a horse that died.

  Speaker 1: And he said, oh, I got to take it out
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: to the to the you know, the landfill or there's
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: a dead animal disposal place. And he said, no, no, no, no,
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: deliver it to my house.

  Speaker 2: And he did. And he did, Oh man, wow, what.
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: A and just the nicest And I said, you know,
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: I said to his wife, how do you?
• 3:21
  Speaker 2: She said, oh, I don't know. I kind of encouraged
• 3:24
  Speaker 2: him to do it. You know, it's your it's your passion,
• 3:29
  Speaker 2: honey goes. I mean, these are just the interesting people.
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: And I was talking to this one woman and I
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: don't even remember what we were talking about exactly, and
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: all of a sudden I couldn't hear her anymore because
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: I noticed her ear rings.
• 3:44
  Speaker 2: You were distracted by herr.
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: Yeah, And because her ear rings were long and dangly
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: and they each one of them had printed on it
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: the sea word.
• 3:54
  Speaker 2: I didn't see that. You were hypnotized by the sea word.

  Speaker 1: I've got a picture of it. I'll show you. Oh

  Speaker 1: but and I said, I'm sorry, I'm not listening to
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: you anymore. I just noticed your ear rings and she said,
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: she said, oh, yes, aren't they wonderful.
• 4:09
  Speaker 2: I figured I could get away with wearing them here.
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah. Crowd, she said, She said, it's a word.

  Speaker 1: It's a word that I've been that I'm reclaiming. I
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: think we need to, you know, we need to be
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: out front with it. And she was. She was very funny.
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: And I mean, yeah, there were so many interesting people there. Yeah,
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: like and it's me. I have the tendency to ask
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: them what they do, you know. Like there's one guy
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: who has a business as wholes he holds he's a
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: whole saler of chocolate, you know, find chocolate from around
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: the world.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, you should have brought some to share, That's what
• 4:43
  Speaker 2: I said. Where is it? But Jimmy Santangelo was great. Oh,
• 4:48
  Speaker 2: he's always good.

  Speaker 1: The people at the club were great, good. Yeah, every
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: It was just a great event and hopefully we'll do
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: it again.

  Speaker 2: Oh one.

  Speaker 1: One woman who said, I was in you live studio

  Speaker 1: audience twenty four years ago, and I said, how do
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: you how do you know that das exactly what it
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: was because I was I was very very pregnant at
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: the time and my son is now twenty four.

  Speaker 2: Wow, exactly what it was, all right, But thanks for
• 5:14
  Speaker 2: coming everybody. It was really good, a good time.
