- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by Draft Kings. The crown
- 0:13Speaker 1: is yours. We are an Action Network podcast. I'm Brandon Kravitz,
- 0:17Speaker 1: your host, back at it with half the crew. The
- 0:20Speaker 1: first lady of the pod, Kendra Middleton, is with me
- 0:23Speaker 1: before she hops on a jet and heads elsewhere.
- 0:26Speaker 2: We'll talk about that in a second.
- 0:28Speaker 1: The Prime Minister of Degenerate Nation, Stuckey is buried in
- 0:32Speaker 1: ken palm ratings right now. We'll chat with him on
- 0:36Speaker 1: Thursday's pod. We're talking NFL Combine today with our special guest,
- 0:41Speaker 1: Ryan Roberts, NFL draft analyst from A to Z Sports. Kendra,
- 0:46Speaker 1: you are headed out of the country here soon. What's
- 0:49Speaker 1: the occasion? What takes you away from us?
- 0:53Speaker 3: I am so excited.
- 0:54Speaker 4: I have been telling you guys that this is one
- 0:56Speaker 4: of my last brain power tasks before I can paint
- 0:59Speaker 4: my nails, lather myself in self tan, and get ready.
- 1:03Speaker 3: To get on a plane. I'm actually going to Portugal.
- 1:05Speaker 4: It is my birthday on Sunday, so I'm going out
- 1:09Speaker 4: of the country, going to be drinking some wine, probably
- 1:12Speaker 4: spending too much money, and eating a lot of good food.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Is there a reason why Portugal was chosen. I know
- 1:19Speaker 1: that you love to jet set around the world. You're
- 1:22Speaker 1: very well traveled. Is this a place that you've been
- 1:25Speaker 1: before or is this a new experience.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I have not been to Portugal.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I am in my fourth third fourth year of doing
- 1:34Speaker 4: five brand new countries to me every single year for
- 1:38Speaker 4: ten years.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I'm trying to do fifty countries in ten years.
- 1:41Speaker 4: So I haven't done Portugal, and I have a huge
- 1:44Speaker 4: hack for you. I have a couple of hacks for
- 1:46Speaker 4: you guys travel wise. One to make the most out
- 1:49Speaker 4: of your PTO. If you live on the East Coast,
- 1:51Speaker 4: leave on a Wednesday night. Most like red eye flights
- 1:56Speaker 4: over to Europe leave around eight nine pm. You land
- 1:58Speaker 4: at eight or nine in the morning on Thursday. You
- 2:00Speaker 4: only have to take off Thursday Friday. And if you
- 2:02Speaker 4: make it a long weekend on a Monday, you don't
- 2:04Speaker 4: even have to take off Monday. You get five days
- 2:06Speaker 4: for the cost of two or three of PTO and
- 2:09Speaker 4: it's a direct flight for me from here.
- 2:11Speaker 3: So that's what I'm doing.
- 2:12Speaker 4: And go somewhere with the Michelin Guide because you can
- 2:14Speaker 4: pre book and you don't have to spend a ton
- 2:16Speaker 4: of money to eat good foods. So Portugal has direct
- 2:19Speaker 4: flight six hours, easy enough to hop over there for
- 2:22Speaker 4: a couple of days. Michelin Guide, lots of wine and
- 2:25Speaker 4: weather that is not twenty five degrees.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a hack.
- 2:30Speaker 1: We're always looking for good ideas and great value on
- 2:33Speaker 1: this podcast, and that definitely delivers on all.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Of the round trip direct that's great.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I have not left the country in a while. I
- 2:43Speaker 1: don't think i've left the country. In fact, I know
- 2:45Speaker 1: that I have not left the country since my wife
- 2:47Speaker 1: and I went on our honeymoon in Jamaica. And this
- 2:52Speaker 1: is one of the things I know that you're somewhat
- 2:54Speaker 1: anti having children. You're not anti children, but anti having
- 2:58Speaker 1: your own.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I want to I don't want to give birth, But.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Don't you want to adopt like a teenager or someone
- 3:04Speaker 1: that's already.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to be like fifty and adopt a
- 3:07Speaker 4: couple of teenagers.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So this this will put because because you love to
- 3:10Speaker 1: travel so much, this will push you away from that.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I used to love to travel as well.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It it is so difficult, somewhere between difficult and impossible
- 3:19Speaker 1: to do that with a young kid, So it has
- 3:22Speaker 1: completely slowed travel, especially the idea of leaving the country
- 3:26Speaker 1: right now because I wouldn't bring him with me, would
- 3:29Speaker 1: give me hives.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Just get Globe lunch free. It solves all your issues.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Plus with everything going on, I'm afraid I won't be
- 3:37Speaker 1: allowed back in, So you know I'm not.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Leave me in Portugal, bitch, leave me there.
- 3:44Speaker 1: See that's uh, I can't. I can't risk that. But
- 3:46Speaker 1: call me xenophobic or whatever. I'm not leaving the country anytime,
- 3:49Speaker 1: So I'm not leaving all right, Kenja?
- 3:54Speaker 2: What's on your mind today?
- 4:00Speaker 5: Could you be.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Okay? So no stucky?
- 4:07Speaker 4: So we're gonna go rapid fire. I have three questions.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Recently I wound up on the side of internet where
- 4:15Speaker 4: boyfriends are letting their girlfriends tase them just to know
- 4:18Speaker 4: what it's like.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I have accidentally tased myself before.
- 4:21Speaker 4: I actually have a video of it, if anyone has
- 4:23Speaker 4: any interest in seeing it.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But would you let your wife tase you for the
- 4:28Speaker 3: one time just to know?
- 4:30Speaker 1: I think it would have to be a special occasion,
- 4:33Speaker 1: like our anniversaries coming up?
- 4:34Speaker 4: Gets our anniversary, you can do that one time.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Yeah, anniversary is coming up on the eleventh. And if
- 4:39Speaker 1: this is what you wanted, I would I would succumb
- 4:43Speaker 1: to that, but probably not. You got to draw the
- 4:47Speaker 1: line somewhere.
- 4:48Speaker 3: But if I show you it's not that bad.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm just I'm not that curious to know what it
- 4:53Speaker 1: feels like. I've seen it on cops. It looks pretty
- 4:56Speaker 1: painful when crackheads are getting tasers, though, So what what's
- 5:00Speaker 1: the difference?
- 5:01Speaker 2: What are we looking at here?
- 5:02Speaker 3: I guess stun gun tase?
- 5:04Speaker 1: I mean, I guess I know that, I know that
- 5:08Speaker 1: my wife could convince me to do it.
- 5:09Speaker 3: I have a taser. I'll bring it when we all
- 5:12Speaker 3: meet up.
- 5:13Speaker 2: All right, I.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Would say my answer is maybe sixty sixty five percent
- 5:21Speaker 1: to the No. I wouldn't do that unless she asked
- 5:24Speaker 1: nicely on it on an occasion.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Question now, Christmas morning, let me tase you.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Yes, that's hey, if that would be a good gift
- 5:33Speaker 4: actually for a girl.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Question two? Fuck Mary kill rain? Wind Snow all right,
- 5:41Speaker 4: I'm killing wind.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Wind is so obnoxious and it makes the cold exponentially worse.
- 5:50Speaker 1: All of my worst experiences sitting at sporting events and
- 5:54Speaker 1: things like that are due to the wind, not necessarily
- 5:58Speaker 1: any sort of other we.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It's smacks in the face. There's nothing you can do
- 6:04Speaker 2: about it.
- 6:04Speaker 1: They get for a rain. If you're that bothered, get
- 6:07Speaker 1: a fucking umbrella. There's no umbrella for wind. You know, windbreakers,
- 6:11Speaker 1: total scam. Yeah, so I would kill, definitely kill the wind.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I think I would fuck the snow because that's more
- 6:21Speaker 1: of like a one night stand thing I have.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I've been in Florida for a long time. I was
- 6:25Speaker 2: born in Baltimore.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I know snow. I've seen snow. It's great to visit snow.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I would not want as an adult. I've never had
- 6:33Speaker 1: to shovel it out of my driveway. I can't imagine
- 6:37Speaker 1: having to do that on a day to day basis.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So that is very much one night stand material. And
- 6:43Speaker 1: then I guess i'd marry the rain because there's nothing better.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Then.
- 6:49Speaker 1: You've got nothing to do, You're off all day. You
- 6:55Speaker 1: maybe you drink too much the night before and all
- 6:58Speaker 1: of a sudden, it just starts storming.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I'm a walk step with you here.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Oh the vibes are immaculate. Yeah, I can definitely marry that.
- 7:10Speaker 4: We have some arguments in our chat section on production,
- 7:15Speaker 4: But question number three do you wish your friends still
- 7:20Speaker 4: had to MySpace rank you on social media, so you
- 7:24Speaker 4: knew where you stood with people.
- 7:26Speaker 1: This would have been a very difficult question years ago.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I was thinking about how I would even go about
- 7:34Speaker 1: doing this myself. In the past, when this was a thing,
- 7:39Speaker 1: we had to make some business decisions and some people
- 7:42Speaker 1: had to get lopped off that maybe didn't deserve it
- 7:45Speaker 1: because there was limited space. Now, I mean, I would
- 7:48Speaker 1: be taking applications to get to eight, so I don't
- 7:52Speaker 1: think I would be all that offended. I'm pretty confident
- 7:54Speaker 1: in the three or four people that would have me
- 7:56Speaker 1: in a top eight, and then anything else would be
- 7:58Speaker 1: a surprise.
- 7:59Speaker 2: At this point, maybe you know.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It would be awesome though, is if we had some
- 8:04Speaker 1: big listener of the show, somebody who's there there into
- 8:08Speaker 1: every second of every episode.
- 8:10Speaker 2: We started sliding.
- 8:11Speaker 1: In to so many other people's top eights that we
- 8:15Speaker 1: weren't necessarily familiar with. So my top eight count as
- 8:18Speaker 1: far as where my face would appear, might even be
- 8:21Speaker 1: higher than it's been in the past. But in terms
- 8:22Speaker 1: of me coming up with a good top eight for
- 8:24Speaker 1: the people in my life, it'd be roight. I mean,
- 8:27Speaker 1: obviously you and Stuck you would be on there.
- 8:29Speaker 4: It's more so like where you stand with other people,
- 8:32Speaker 4: like I think it would be easy for me to
- 8:34Speaker 4: make my rankings, but what I want to know is
- 8:36Speaker 4: would the people on my rankings rank me similarly.
- 8:39Speaker 1: We're probably better off having gotten rid of that, but
- 8:42Speaker 1: it was good to know where you were at in
- 8:46Speaker 1: some respects.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I kind of miss is like knowing
- 8:50Speaker 4: where I stood with Pootball, and.
- 8:53Speaker 1: It was you could be much more somewhat direct and
- 8:57Speaker 1: subtle at the same time with telling someone that they're
- 9:00Speaker 1: on the shit list.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Was you know, hey, you're.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Not going to text them and say, hey, you're off
- 9:06Speaker 1: the top eight.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But eventually, you know they'd see it, they would check.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah, they would know that they fucked up and that
- 9:11Speaker 1: it's time to get it right. So maybe there's something
- 9:13Speaker 1: to that. All right, you got anything else before I
- 9:16Speaker 1: move on to the Houston Texans.
- 9:17Speaker 3: No, just my dog barking at somebody in the hallway.
- 9:20Speaker 1: All right, take it easy, Jackson, our main dish today.
- 9:24Speaker 1: The Texans have been busy. They released safety Jimmy Ward.
- 9:29Speaker 1: They traded Titus Howard to the Browns for a fifth
- 9:33Speaker 1: But the big one that we saw yesterday they made
- 9:36Speaker 1: a deal with the Lions, acquiring David Montgomery. They sent
- 9:39Speaker 1: out Juice Scruggs, a fourth round pick and a seventh
- 9:43Speaker 1: round pick. Is that too much for a running back
- 9:46Speaker 1: that hasn't eclipsed seven hundred and seventy five yards for
- 9:50Speaker 1: the past two seasons.
- 9:52Speaker 4: I think so, mostly just because I see a trade
- 9:56Speaker 4: like this as kind of a finishing piece on an offense,
- 9:59Speaker 4: and I don't I think that he's going to be
- 10:01Speaker 4: a finishing piece on this offense. I don't think that
- 10:03Speaker 4: this solves any of their issues. I think it makes
- 10:05Speaker 4: it worse.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I'm also looking at this from the Lions side. As
- 10:11Speaker 1: exciting as this is for Jamior Gibbs dynasty managers, for
- 10:14Speaker 1: which I am one of them, I feel like they're
- 10:16Speaker 1: going to do something with that Montgomery role. It was
- 10:20Speaker 1: Jamal Williams before that. Then they upgrade to Montgomery, and
- 10:23Speaker 1: lately Montgomery hasn't really felt like anything special. Six million
- 10:28Speaker 1: dollars a year for a goal lineback and now, I
- 10:31Speaker 1: mean to your point, now you look at it from
- 10:32Speaker 1: the Houston side too. Okay, so they have Woody Marx
- 10:35Speaker 1: and David Montgomery. Does that really fix their offense? They're
- 10:38Speaker 1: going through these changes, they're releasing guys on defense. They're
- 10:43Speaker 1: clearly trying to upgrade that offensive line, which was a
- 10:45Speaker 1: major issue.
- 10:46Speaker 2: But this feels like.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Putting duck tape on the ship that's starting to take
- 10:54Speaker 1: on water. For the Houston Texans, I'm not sure how
- 10:57Speaker 1: much it actually helps their offense. I think, yes, it
- 11:00Speaker 1: clears things up for fantasy, but does it actually make
- 11:02Speaker 1: the Houston Texans.
- 11:03Speaker 2: All that much better?
- 11:04Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 11:05Speaker 4: And the thing is too, is with rag now retiring
- 11:07Speaker 4: and Scrugs moving like it helps the Lions a lot
- 11:10Speaker 4: more than it does the Texans. And it's just I
- 11:13Speaker 4: don't think that this makes them And here's the thing,
- 11:17Speaker 4: here's kind of how I have come to terms with
- 11:19Speaker 4: it and how I talked myself off the ledge yesterday.
- 11:22Speaker 4: This move doesn't move them anywhere in the division for me,
- 11:27Speaker 4: which is what I think that they need to think
- 11:28Speaker 4: about moving forward.
- 11:30Speaker 3: One. You and the Jags are right there neck and neck.
- 11:32Speaker 4: I depending on how the draft goes and what kind
- 11:34Speaker 4: of rookie production you get, you guys are probably that
- 11:37Speaker 4: one too.
- 11:38Speaker 3: But with the.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Coaching changes and everything in Tennessee, I think that they're
- 11:42Speaker 4: about to be on somebody's ass. And you can't really
- 11:45Speaker 4: count the Colts out of anything anymore. If they can
- 11:47Speaker 4: figure out their quarterback situation in any capacity, everything else
- 11:51Speaker 4: around them is a lot better. So it's like, where
- 11:54Speaker 4: did this move Houston in the rankings of the division,
- 11:58Speaker 4: which is what is going to be most.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Important for them right now? Not really anywhere.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I do appreciate the aggressiveness of Nick Cassario. You very
- 12:06Speaker 1: well could in these the GM of the Texans, you
- 12:08Speaker 1: very well could have just said, hey, we had one
- 12:12Speaker 1: of the elite defenses, we have a quarterback that we
- 12:14Speaker 1: think is going to improve, and we'll we'll just roll.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I mean that's a separate conversation for a different day
- 12:21Speaker 1: or maybe today. But goal line touchdown percentage over expected.
- 12:25Speaker 1: So the worst teams on the goal line last year
- 12:30Speaker 1: the Saints, the Giants, the Patriots who made it to
- 12:34Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, and then the Texans. Those are the
- 12:36Speaker 1: worst Texans, Pats, Giants, Saints best to worst and in
- 12:41Speaker 1: that order. So David Montgomery at least helps in that regard.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I don't think this helps the explosiveness or lack thereof
- 12:48Speaker 1: in their offense.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't really fix the quarterback problem with the
- 12:51Speaker 4: running back, so.
- 12:53Speaker 1: That's the other side of this, too, is what do
- 12:56Speaker 1: the Texans do. I think this is going to be
- 12:57Speaker 1: fascinating to watch this offseason they do with CJ.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Stroud.
- 13:01Speaker 1: This is typically when a quarterback he's entering the final
- 13:05Speaker 1: year of his contract. This is typically when teams would
- 13:08Speaker 1: sign those quarterbacks to massive extensions. But now we have
- 13:12Speaker 1: examples piling up of that being a terrible idea. Two
- 13:15Speaker 1: is one of them Cousins just signed an awful contract
- 13:18Speaker 1: and that that tanked Atlanta's ability to maneuver with the cap.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Russell Wilson with the Denver Broncos, and they were able
- 13:25Speaker 1: to overcome that. But there's still examples piling up of
- 13:29Speaker 1: if you don't have the upper echelon quarterbacks, just don't bother.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I think the Texans go into next season saying that
- 13:36Speaker 1: you've got to prove it. But that would be very
- 13:38Speaker 1: much bucking the trend. That's not what the forty nine
- 13:40Speaker 1: ers did with brock Perdy. Do you think they end
- 13:44Speaker 1: up signing him to some big deal and would it
- 13:46Speaker 1: be a mistake if they did that.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Are you if you if you're in that you know conversation,
- 13:54Speaker 4: are you scared of losing CJ.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Stroud.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Are you scared of pissing him off? Because honestly I
- 13:58Speaker 4: wouldn't be, So make go out there and make him
- 14:01Speaker 4: prove it. I'm not scared of losing you. If you
- 14:03Speaker 4: have a good season.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Cool, we'll chat.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Maybe I'll overpay you for my mistake a little bit,
- 14:07Speaker 4: but I don't think the risk reward here is enough.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's funny how the NFL ebbs and flows like that,
- 14:13Speaker 1: because for years it felt like if you had a
- 14:15Speaker 1: guy that.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Was in the top fifteen, fuck it, you just paid him.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And now all of a sudden, we're seeing Tyler Shucks
- 14:21Speaker 1: of the world coming second round pick.
- 14:23Speaker 2: That is a that's a starting.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Well Sam Baker Mayfield conversation too. You could look at
- 14:29Speaker 3: look at Indiana Jones. You can go out there.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I think the other thing that's happening is we're seeing
- 14:35Speaker 4: NFL teams give up so quickly on some of these
- 14:38Speaker 4: young guys, and they're going somewhere else and finding it,
- 14:40Speaker 4: you know, work somewhere with somebody else. The conversation the
- 14:44Speaker 4: last couple of weeks has been who's the next Sam Darnold.
- 14:47Speaker 4: We're having that conversation all over again. People are probably
- 14:49Speaker 4: gonna go out there and give mac Jones another chance.
- 14:52Speaker 4: I could see Anthony Richardson as much as I don't
- 14:54Speaker 4: think that he's in NFL quarterback getting another chance somewhere,
- 14:57Speaker 4: people are probably gonna give Kyler a chance for that
- 14:59Speaker 4: same conversation. I just with the way that that trend
- 15:04Speaker 4: has continued over the last couple of years successfully in
- 15:07Speaker 4: multiple situations. I don't think that you go out there
- 15:10Speaker 4: and you pay a guy like CJ.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Stroud.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It's such a copycat league. And for years we saw
- 15:16Speaker 1: teams that just said, okay, we have middle of the
- 15:20Speaker 1: road quarterback play. We got to pay him so that
- 15:22Speaker 1: we don't end up at the bottom of the NFL.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And like you said, it's just we were almost in
- 15:28Speaker 1: this quarterback surplus right now, or there's no reason to
- 15:32Speaker 1: do that, and teams would rather bottom out with a
- 15:35Speaker 1: bad quarterback than to be stuck with a bad contract
- 15:38Speaker 1: on the books. No position is worse than where the
- 15:41Speaker 1: Miami Dolphins are right now. Nobody's trying to pay fifty
- 15:45Speaker 1: to ninety million dollars for quarterback that you don't even
- 15:47Speaker 1: want to see, that you don't want to see them
- 15:49Speaker 1: on the football field.
- 15:51Speaker 2: And C J.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Stroud was I mean that dude was awful in the playoffs.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Yeah, all he had to do was be a Drake
- 15:58Speaker 4: May who had you know, similar kind of issues throughout
- 16:02Speaker 4: the postseason, and your defense wasn't even enough to help
- 16:06Speaker 4: you do that, and they did everything.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So I did not know that there were side bets
- 16:13Speaker 1: going on whether or not I would bring up the
- 16:15Speaker 1: Miami Dolphins. Okay, they're in a bad quarterback situation minus
- 16:18Speaker 1: eight fifty. Wow, that was pricey too. You had the
- 16:21Speaker 1: lace of juice on getting that one real quick. Also,
- 16:24Speaker 1: Jamiir Gibbs final year of his contracts and now he's
- 16:27Speaker 1: the lone star running back in the backfield.
- 16:31Speaker 2: What was that nickname?
- 16:32Speaker 1: These those two had a nickname Gibbs. Yeah, it was Sonic.
- 16:37Speaker 1: And who ran with Sonic? My kid knuckles, Yes, my
- 16:42Speaker 1: kid watches Sonic.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I should know this. But they're going to bring in
- 16:45Speaker 2: somebody else.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So if you have Gibbs in fantasy, I mean, obviously
- 16:48Speaker 1: he's awesome, but don't get too excited like he's gonna
- 16:51Speaker 1: have the backfield all to himself. I do think they're
- 16:54Speaker 1: going to sign him to an extension and he and
- 16:57Speaker 1: Bijon Robinson. This will tie in perfect to the conversation
- 17:01Speaker 1: we're about to have with Ryan about the NFL Draft.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Those guys were top picks in.
- 17:06Speaker 1: The first round and they have hit big time and
- 17:10Speaker 1: helped their offenses in a very big way.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Both guys are going to get paid when that.
- 17:14Speaker 4: I think their agents should start holding hands and just
- 17:17Speaker 4: give the same number.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Completely agree, and I think Jeremiah Love should call them
- 17:22Speaker 1: and say thank you very much. Yes, those two are
- 17:25Speaker 1: about to make him a top ten.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Pick, and I think that we think the conversation.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I cannot wait to ask our guests about this because
- 17:33Speaker 4: this conversation of either him going in the top five
- 17:36Speaker 4: or potentially fall into like seventeen has just.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Been This is going to be the drama of the air.
- 17:41Speaker 4: It's going to be the Jackson dar of last year
- 17:43Speaker 4: of will he actually go here or is he going
- 17:45Speaker 4: to fall to the second round? That that's the conversation
- 17:48Speaker 4: we're going to be having.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Well, we're about to dive into that conversation even further
- 17:53Speaker 1: in a moment NFL Combine Recap with Ryan Roberts. But
- 17:56Speaker 1: first a word from our very own Kendrick Middleton.
- 18:00Speaker 4: My favorites podcast has teamed up with DraftKings sportsbook, where
- 18:03Speaker 4: new customers can bet five dollars and get two hundred
- 18:05Speaker 4: back in bonus bets if your bet wins. Stay in
- 18:07Speaker 4: on the action and use your bonus bets on DraftKings
- 18:10Speaker 4: same game parlays for a shot at an even bigger payout.
- 18:13Speaker 4: To get started, use promo code favorites when signing up
- 18:15Speaker 4: with DraftKings Again, use code favorites when signing up with DraftKings.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Bet five bucks to get two hundred back and bonus
- 18:20Speaker 4: bets if your bet wins.
- 18:22Speaker 3: The crown is yours.
- 18:24Speaker 2: The NFL Combine is in the books.
- 18:26Speaker 1: We've got risers, we've got followers, and we bring on
- 18:29Speaker 1: our special guests this week to comb through it all.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Ryan Roberts, NFL college football analyst from A to Z Sports.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Ryan, thanks for hanging out with us. How you doing today.
- 18:39Speaker 5: I'm good. I'm good.
- 18:40Speaker 6: Thank you guys having having me. It's you know, I'm
- 18:42Speaker 6: kind of just getting back in the groove of things
- 18:44Speaker 6: a little bit, you know, got back over the weekend
- 18:46Speaker 6: after a few days in Indianapolis. It's my favorite week
- 18:50Speaker 6: of the year, but I feel like I need a
- 18:51Speaker 6: few days afterwards. Just kind of recouping, get back to
- 18:53Speaker 6: the swing and you know, being dad and kind of
- 18:55Speaker 6: doing that balancing act. But I'm excited to be on here.
- 18:58Speaker 6: Thank you guys so much.
- 18:59Speaker 2: How many did you eat at Saint Elbow's?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Actually none?
- 19:03Speaker 6: I don't know if I want to admit this on air,
- 19:05Speaker 6: but I'm not really a shrimp guy in general. I
- 19:07Speaker 6: did have three steak dinners in three straight nights, though,
- 19:10Speaker 6: if that makes up for it. So I had a
- 19:11Speaker 6: lot of steak, but no Saint Elmo's, No Saint Elmo's,
- 19:16Speaker 6: you know, shrimp cocktails or anything for me this past week.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Can you before you get to the football side of it,
- 19:21Speaker 1: can you add or subtract to the lore around that
- 19:25Speaker 1: steakhouse as as a breeding ground for rumors hobnobbing?
- 19:31Speaker 2: Is it all it's cracked up to be? It? Is?
- 19:34Speaker 2: It is?
- 19:35Speaker 6: I think I think that there's two places in Indianapolis
- 19:37Speaker 6: to go to if you just kind of want to,
- 19:38Speaker 6: you know, rub elbows at points with the different decision
- 19:41Speaker 6: makers and coaches. One is Saint Elmo's, which you're gonna
- 19:45Speaker 6: run into just about everybody at Saint Elmo's, both on
- 19:47Speaker 6: the media side and on the coaching general manager side
- 19:50Speaker 6: of things, and then the other one's High Velocity, which
- 19:52Speaker 6: is like a bar near there in the JW.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Marriott.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Like my first year, I think this was number five
- 19:57Speaker 6: for me of combines. Remember the first year I went there,
- 20:00Speaker 6: I didn't understand the lore at all until I sat
- 20:03Speaker 6: down in High Velocity for dinner right next to Sean
- 20:06Speaker 6: Payton and his coaching staff right next to me, right,
- 20:09Speaker 6: So like it is, it's legit, Like you can you know,
- 20:12Speaker 6: you just got to kind of be a fly on
- 20:13Speaker 6: the wall a little bit and just listen intently because
- 20:15Speaker 6: there is a lot of tibbets that you can gather
- 20:17Speaker 6: just kind of being the flying the walls to a degree.
- 20:20Speaker 1: All right, well, let's dive into it. First of all,
- 20:23Speaker 1: the value of the combine. We've compared the combine to
- 20:27Speaker 1: I think a cupcake is what we used last week.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I've called it the sprinkles, others have called it the icing.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Where do you land on the value that the combine
- 20:37Speaker 1: has in the overall evaluation process.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And how would you compare it to that dessert item?
- 20:43Speaker 6: So for me, like for the media side of things,
- 20:46Speaker 6: I think that this is actually like the base of
- 20:48Speaker 6: the cupcake, like this is the foundation is kind of
- 20:50Speaker 6: how I would quantify it, because when you're at the
- 20:53Speaker 6: Senior Bowl, or you're at East West Shrine, or you
- 20:55Speaker 6: go on the Pro day circuit, like all those types
- 20:57Speaker 6: of things, you get the sprinkles of information, but from
- 21:01Speaker 6: like a media side of just like information gathering. There
- 21:03Speaker 6: is no place like Indianapolis for just kind of getting
- 21:06Speaker 6: like legit intel. I mean, it's lying seasons, so there's
- 21:09Speaker 6: always some information that you just kind of have to
- 21:11Speaker 6: disregard and cone through, but you really do find a
- 21:14Speaker 6: lot of good stuff because this is the only draft
- 21:16Speaker 6: event pre draft event where you have every media member
- 21:19Speaker 6: who matters to every coaching you know, coaching personnel, decision makers, agents, players,
- 21:26Speaker 6: three hundred and eighteen players all under the same root.
- 21:28Speaker 6: So if you're good at it, you know, like you
- 21:30Speaker 6: just know how to hear things right and how to
- 21:32Speaker 6: cipher through things. So I think foundationally speaking in it
- 21:35Speaker 6: for us on this side, I do think that it
- 21:38Speaker 6: is a very important part for the actual NFL evaluator side,
- 21:42Speaker 6: though I think that it probably is sprinkles to your point, right,
- 21:45Speaker 6: Like I think that you have already done the bulk
- 21:47Speaker 6: of the work it's the film, It's the Eye and
- 21:50Speaker 6: the sky like that stuff carries the most most part
- 21:53Speaker 6: of this evaluation process. After that, it's just does he
- 21:56Speaker 6: check out athletically for what I saw in film? It's
- 21:58Speaker 6: a verification process. Does he interview well? And do the
- 22:02Speaker 6: medicals check out? So it's still an important part of
- 22:04Speaker 6: the process, but the overall most important part is what
- 22:06Speaker 6: did you do during the twenty nineteen twenty twenty five
- 22:08Speaker 6: excuse me college football season?
- 22:10Speaker 4: So you were boots on the ground. I needed to
- 22:12Speaker 4: know if the combine is back? There were more big
- 22:16Speaker 4: name players from college football this year than we've seen
- 22:19Speaker 4: the last couple of years participating will this day?
- 22:22Speaker 3: Was it random?
- 22:22Speaker 4: Does the clickbait aspect help some of these guys in
- 22:25Speaker 4: the long run show up, participate, maybe get a little
- 22:28Speaker 4: bit of that viral fame before the question mark of
- 22:31Speaker 4: their career takes over. What was kind of the vibe of,
- 22:34Speaker 4: you know, like the Jeremiah Love was of the world
- 22:36Speaker 4: being there in participating and seeing more of these big
- 22:39Speaker 4: name guys on every side of the ball. Maybe not
- 22:41Speaker 4: so much the quarterbacks, but did it feel like the energy.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Was back at the combine this year?
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:46Speaker 6: I think there was a lot of energy from the
- 22:48Speaker 6: player's side. The media was a little bit it was
- 22:50Speaker 6: a little bit. It was a little bit inconsistent from
- 22:52Speaker 6: just like the media availability perspective, because a lot of
- 22:55Speaker 6: the media was dealing with like the blizzards in the Northeast, right,
- 22:58Speaker 6: so like travel was was hard. I mean myself, like
- 23:01Speaker 6: I had to deal with it as well, So like
- 23:02Speaker 6: the media presence wasn't as strong as it has been
- 23:05Speaker 6: in a couple combines that I've been to.
- 23:07Speaker 5: But from the player side of things.
- 23:08Speaker 6: Absolutely, I mean, I think that they set up precedence, right.
- 23:12Speaker 6: I think it was am and Ross Saint Brown on
- 23:13Speaker 6: Caleb Downs and Josh Downs podcast that basically said, like,
- 23:16Speaker 6: if you're gonna run fast, go run fast. Right, So
- 23:18Speaker 6: that's what we saw this past week of if you're
- 23:20Speaker 6: confident in your athleticism, show it off. And I think
- 23:23Speaker 6: that Jeremiah Love did that to your point of running
- 23:26Speaker 6: three four, three six rvel rees and Sunny Styles, who
- 23:31Speaker 6: were both probably gonna be top five to top six
- 23:33Speaker 6: draft picks, decided I'm going to run four four to
- 23:35Speaker 6: six in the forty and I'm going to do the
- 23:37Speaker 6: position drills and Sunny Styles did all of the testings,
- 23:39Speaker 6: so I think they're just kind of seeing those guys tests.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Even Cornell Tait, like most people didn't think Ohio State's
- 23:44Speaker 6: receiver was going to test this week, and I know
- 23:46Speaker 6: there's been a lot of controversy over four on and
- 23:48Speaker 6: four five three and being the first wide receiver off
- 23:51Speaker 6: the board, but he showed up and he decided to
- 23:53Speaker 6: test last minute, which I just kind of think adds
- 23:56Speaker 6: to that precedent a little bit. So I think if
- 23:58Speaker 6: they see more and more players of that status and
- 24:01Speaker 6: that magnitude can continue to test, I do think that's
- 24:04Speaker 6: going to set a good standard for the people come
- 24:06Speaker 6: and move forward, because at the end of the day,
- 24:08Speaker 6: there's always gonna be people that opt out. But the
- 24:10Speaker 6: people that opt out more than more than most, in
- 24:13Speaker 6: my opinion, would be guys that either don't have anything
- 24:15Speaker 6: to gain, but more than anything, it's guys that don't
- 24:17Speaker 6: think they're gonna test well. Like I wasn't shocked to
- 24:19Speaker 6: see Ruben Bain from Miami not tests because I just
- 24:21Speaker 6: don't think he's going to be a good tester. Sonny Styles,
- 24:23Speaker 6: on the other hand, didn't really have a ton to gain, arguably,
- 24:26Speaker 6: but he decided I'm gonna put an exclamation point next
- 24:29Speaker 6: to my name in this draft, and he was able
- 24:31Speaker 6: to solidify things.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Yeah, So that kind of leads into my next question.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Over the last couple of years, we've seen guys run faster,
- 24:37Speaker 4: jump high er, get stronger, overall look more impressive. What
- 24:41Speaker 4: is more responsible for some of these numbers, specifically the
- 24:44Speaker 4: quick jump in the numbers? Is it the sports science,
- 24:47Speaker 4: is it the nutrition and all of that, or is
- 24:49Speaker 4: it more.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Focused being on the drills that they train for?
- 24:52Speaker 4: Right, Like a lot of these guys are going to
- 24:53Speaker 4: participate in things that are going to make them look good,
- 24:56Speaker 4: specifically something like the forty yard dash and a focus
- 24:58Speaker 4: on that in particular preparing for it.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Which one do you think is more likely?
- 25:04Speaker 6: I think, generally speaking, it's that training is just getting
- 25:07Speaker 6: better more than anything, because, like there goes, there's a
- 25:10Speaker 6: lot that goes into that process. It's not just learning
- 25:13Speaker 6: mechanically how to run the best version of a forty
- 25:16Speaker 6: r dash or the broad jump or you know, your
- 25:18Speaker 6: three cone all that type of stuff. It is also
- 25:20Speaker 6: that they have the nutrition side of that as well.
- 25:23Speaker 6: They're monitoring the intake and lifting and doing all these jumps,
- 25:27Speaker 6: and so I think that that is mostly a part
- 25:29Speaker 6: of the process. But I do think there's something to
- 25:30Speaker 6: be said about the fact that some guys are very
- 25:33Speaker 6: strategic with what they do tests in Indianapolis, like for
- 25:36Speaker 6: a lot most players now, a lot of them focus on,
- 25:40Speaker 6: for instance, like the explosive stuff at the at the combine,
- 25:43Speaker 6: and then they'll do the short area stuff at the prodain.
- 25:45Speaker 6: So they'll do the forty yr dash, they'll do the
- 25:47Speaker 6: broad jump, they'll do the vertical all in Indie because
- 25:50Speaker 6: those things are all interrelated. It's about lower body explosiveness
- 25:53Speaker 6: and kind of more linear type of explosiveness. And then
- 25:55Speaker 6: they'll train for all NonStop for weeks for the pro
- 25:58Speaker 6: day of doing their best five ten to five into
- 26:00Speaker 6: three cones. So I think that you're definitely compartmentalizing how
- 26:03Speaker 6: you attack the process. But I think overall it's just
- 26:06Speaker 6: partly evolution. Guys are getting bigger, faster, stronger, just generally speaking.
- 26:10Speaker 6: But I think more than anything, it's the training aspect
- 26:12Speaker 6: of it. I mean, if you go down to like
- 26:13Speaker 6: bomb Rito or one of the exoss across the country,
- 26:16Speaker 6: like these these these people know what they're doing obviously
- 26:18Speaker 6: and they're getting a lot of results.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Ryan, we are all curious to know after the NFL
- 26:23Speaker 1: combine takes place, who's rising up the board, who's falling
- 26:28Speaker 1: based on their measurements, the athleticism, the scores and all
- 26:34Speaker 1: of that. I was blown away by Tailing Green of Arkansas,
- 26:38Speaker 1: curious to see what happens with that. He's a physical specimen.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Three risers, three fallers. Who are guys that come to
- 26:46Speaker 1: mind for you.
- 26:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm gonna steal Tailing Green for you for a second,
- 26:50Speaker 6: because I do think that quarterback three is wide open.
- 26:53Speaker 6: After Fernanda Mendoz and Ty Simpson, there's been a lot
- 26:55Speaker 6: of you know, a lot of love for Garrett us Meyer,
- 26:57Speaker 6: and I do think that the NFL still does like
- 26:59Speaker 6: Garrett Smier from LSU. But I do think that there's
- 27:01Speaker 6: a there's definitely an option that maybe somewhere on Day
- 27:04Speaker 6: two now, a team goes Tailing Green. Might not be
- 27:07Speaker 6: ready to start a quarterback in the NFL, but with
- 27:09Speaker 6: how athletic he is, that kind of gives you a
- 27:11Speaker 6: nice floor to work with in terms of, like if
- 27:14Speaker 6: he flames out as a quarterback, I think I think
- 27:17Speaker 6: an NFL offense coordinator can figure out what to do
- 27:18Speaker 6: with a six foot six, two hundred and thirty pound guy
- 27:20Speaker 6: that runs four thirty six, right, Like you can figure
- 27:22Speaker 6: something out for that type a little bit.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Like like Jalen Milroe in that way.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Is it kind of great?
- 27:27Speaker 5: Yeh yeah, absolutely, Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 6: I think it's a Turell prior situation too, And I
- 27:31Speaker 6: know there is a little bit of a different situation
- 27:33Speaker 6: coming out of Ohio State, but I mean he ends
- 27:34Speaker 6: up being a wide receiver in the NFL for several
- 27:36Speaker 6: years as well, Like you're not drafted him in with
- 27:38Speaker 6: the intention that you're gonna move the wide receiver necessarily.
- 27:41Speaker 6: But I do think that athleticism, it creates a floor
- 27:44Speaker 6: of like that guy's an NFL athlete for sure. So yeah, Milroy,
- 27:47Speaker 6: I think is an interesting situation as well and kind
- 27:49Speaker 6: of similar issue. So I think tailing Green is definitely
- 27:52Speaker 6: one of them.
- 27:52Speaker 5: Without question.
- 27:53Speaker 6: I will say trading Stokes out of Arizona, the defensive
- 27:56Speaker 6: back is one of my favorite players in his class.
- 27:59Speaker 6: He was getting top one one hundred feedback before this,
- 28:01Speaker 6: before the event, but then he goes out and at
- 28:03Speaker 6: six foot one and right around one hundred and ninety
- 28:05Speaker 6: five pounds, he runs four to three to three and
- 28:07Speaker 6: has a forty plus inch avert.
- 28:09Speaker 5: So he's film plus.
- 28:10Speaker 6: I think he tested maybe a little better than some
- 28:12Speaker 6: NFL team's thoughts, So I think he's probably a top
- 28:15Speaker 6: sixty four kid at this point. Like I don't see
- 28:18Speaker 6: him getting out of the second round when he was
- 28:19Speaker 6: probably more of a seventy five to one hundred type
- 28:23Speaker 6: of player going into the event. So he's definitely rising
- 28:26Speaker 6: without questions. And I think that there's gonna be some
- 28:29Speaker 6: other guys, like I'm just trying to think, like Blake Miller,
- 28:31Speaker 6: I think got a Clemson's guy that is slowly kind
- 28:33Speaker 6: of ascending to a back half of first round type
- 28:36Speaker 6: of offensive tackle. Was kind of viewed as like probably
- 28:38Speaker 6: a mid second rounder before the process started, but at
- 28:41Speaker 6: six foot seven and three hundred and fifteen pounds with
- 28:43Speaker 6: thirty four plus inch arms, able to test at a
- 28:46Speaker 6: high level when you look at like his relative athletics score.
- 28:48Speaker 6: So those are a few guys I think really kind
- 28:50Speaker 6: of rose fallers. Generally in this event, it's not usually
- 28:53Speaker 6: as much athletic testing. It's usually the stuff you get
- 28:56Speaker 6: after the fact of like medicals and character stuff.
- 28:59Speaker 5: And I do think think that.
- 29:01Speaker 6: I think that there's a heavier debate coming out at
- 29:04Speaker 6: wide receiver than there was coming in. I think that
- 29:07Speaker 6: Carnell Tates while I'm not worried about him running four
- 29:09Speaker 6: or five three, just me speaking like I'm not actually
- 29:11Speaker 6: not worried about that. I think the one piece of
- 29:13Speaker 6: news that I got that actually I put out at
- 29:15Speaker 6: eighty to Z was that Jordan Tyson's medicals came back
- 29:18Speaker 6: good the Arizona state wide receiver this past week, which
- 29:20Speaker 6: is huge for him, Like that was one of the
- 29:22Speaker 6: big deterrens for him in terms of him being wide
- 29:24Speaker 6: receiver one or being wide receiver three. So I do
- 29:27Speaker 6: think there's actually gonna be an interesting conversation down the
- 29:29Speaker 6: stretch of who is wide receiver one in this class
- 29:31Speaker 6: and if it ends up being Tyson. I think we're
- 29:34Speaker 6: seeing Carnell Tait mostly in like top eights of MOX.
- 29:37Speaker 6: I wouldn't be shocked if he's more in like the
- 29:38Speaker 6: late teens, depending on just kind of how that wide
- 29:41Speaker 6: receiver pecking order kind of falls. So I think he's
- 29:43Speaker 6: a guy that could fall slightly in this process. I
- 29:47Speaker 6: do think also that Garrett Nussmeyer is a guy that
- 29:49Speaker 6: It kind of goes with what I talked about with
- 29:51Speaker 6: Taylor Green earlier. If Taylor Green ends up being the
- 29:54Speaker 6: quarterback three off the board, then Garrett Usmeyer is probably
- 29:57Speaker 6: gonna fall a little bit. He's kind of generally thought
- 29:58Speaker 6: of as like a top seventy. But if Taylor Green
- 30:01Speaker 6: becomes a third quarterback off the board, does the team
- 30:03Speaker 6: kind of just kind of fill the need and just
- 30:05Speaker 6: kind of keep it moving. I do think that he
- 30:08Speaker 6: is a player that could trend downward a good bit
- 30:11Speaker 6: in terms of, you know, his evaluation to the NFL
- 30:14Speaker 6: side of things.
- 30:15Speaker 5: And then I'm trying to think of a I.
- 30:17Speaker 6: Would say again, I don't know if I would call
- 30:19Speaker 6: him a faller, but Jermald McCoy out of Tennessee had
- 30:22Speaker 6: a chance to kind of stop some some question marks
- 30:26Speaker 6: with his his injury because he had the torn acl
- 30:28Speaker 6: in the spring. He didn't play in the entire year
- 30:30Speaker 6: for Tennessee. The talented cornerback and apparently he's healthy, but
- 30:34Speaker 6: he should have been Indianapolis and didn't do anything because
- 30:36Speaker 6: of the because of you know, he just wasn't physically
- 30:39Speaker 6: ready quote unquote, So he just had a chance to
- 30:41Speaker 6: kind of quiet some question Marks, So a guy that
- 30:43Speaker 6: I thought was gonna be a top ten pick going
- 30:45Speaker 6: into this process. If he was available later in like
- 30:48Speaker 6: late first round, I would not be shocked at this point.
- 30:50Speaker 6: So there's a couple of guys that just kind of
- 30:51Speaker 6: slid a little bit.
- 30:52Speaker 5: I think.
- 30:53Speaker 4: So on the topic of guys rising and kind of falling,
- 30:56Speaker 4: Jeremiah Love looks really good. I've heard people like Brandon
- 31:00Speaker 4: say they think that he's going to be a top
- 31:02Speaker 4: five pick. I've heard people say that if he doesn't
- 31:04Speaker 4: go to the Chiefs, he's going to fall pretty far
- 31:06Speaker 4: back into the teens after being there this week. Where
- 31:08Speaker 4: do you think it is a realistic spot or a
- 31:11Speaker 4: realistic team for him to wind up with, So.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Going into the events or probably like a couple weeks,
- 31:17Speaker 6: you know, prior to leading up to it, I thought
- 31:19Speaker 6: that Jeremiah Love was the most likely landing spot was
- 31:22Speaker 6: probably in that eight to nine spots with the New
- 31:25Speaker 6: Orleans Saints and then the Kansas City Chiefs leaving the event,
- 31:29Speaker 6: I think that's the floor now, like I don't think
- 31:30Speaker 6: that's the most likely. I think that there is legitimate
- 31:33Speaker 6: smoke around the Tennessee Titans at four and it's going
- 31:36Speaker 6: to be a huge debate over positional need versus luxury
- 31:39Speaker 6: and all that type of stuff. But I do think
- 31:41Speaker 6: there's a the straddling of the line of a conversation
- 31:45Speaker 6: of do we want to take the premium position even
- 31:48Speaker 6: if we have him graded a lot lower, or do
- 31:50Speaker 6: we want to take a guy that's maybe going to
- 31:51Speaker 6: be an all pro running back? So I think four.
- 31:54Speaker 6: I also think number three to Cardinals Arizona Cardinals is
- 31:57Speaker 6: like a sneaky spot for Jeremiah Love. So I think
- 31:59Speaker 6: his spot now is between somewhere between three and nine.
- 32:02Speaker 6: I think nine is the floor though, and before the event,
- 32:05Speaker 6: I kind of thought that that was kind of the
- 32:06Speaker 6: sweet spot for him.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Do you think I think Callie easy for a running back.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Though, b Jeon Robinson, Jamiir Gibbs, We're now starting to
- 32:13Speaker 1: see the pendulum swing. Gone are the days, Ryan of
- 32:16Speaker 1: Leonard Fournette busting with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I'm trying to talk myself out of them signing Etn.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Dude, the Titans, the Jags.
- 32:27Speaker 4: I'm a Jaguars fan, and I don't want them to
- 32:30Speaker 4: pay him what I think he wants.
- 32:33Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Travis Etn is like a middle of the road running back.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Jeremiah Love looks like and I want to ask athletically,
- 32:40Speaker 1: in terms of testing and things like that, who does
- 32:43Speaker 1: he compare to when we talk about him from an
- 32:46Speaker 1: athletic perspective, because I think he's better than etn.
- 32:50Speaker 6: So people can comparing him to Jumior Gibbs, but they're
- 32:53Speaker 6: completely different size profiles. Like Gibbs was like five nine
- 32:56Speaker 6: one hundred and ninety nine pounds. Jeremy Love's six foot
- 32:58Speaker 6: two fourteen and he's he's got or to twelve I
- 33:00Speaker 6: think is what he waighed and he played it like
- 33:02Speaker 6: two fourteen to fifteen. He's got long arms too, so
- 33:04Speaker 6: he's got thirty two in charms. Not that that matters
- 33:06Speaker 6: for the running back position, but like just to kind
- 33:08Speaker 6: of illustrate that, like he's a bigger athlete, Like he's
- 33:10Speaker 6: not a small He's not like a smaller because like
- 33:13Speaker 6: two hundred pounds is like kind of that threshold of
- 33:15Speaker 6: success and Shamier gives is actually a slight outlier in
- 33:17Speaker 6: terms of like sub two hundred pound running backs that
- 33:19Speaker 6: have been really successful in the NFL level. Love fits
- 33:23Speaker 6: more of like the traditional back that you look at
- 33:25Speaker 6: For me, I always compare him to Alvin Kamara with
- 33:27Speaker 6: more home run speed, Like that's what he reminds me
- 33:29Speaker 6: of because he's explosive, gets to his top gear in
- 33:32Speaker 6: a hurry, really good out of the backfield, and then
- 33:34Speaker 6: like sneaky good change of direction in open space as well.
- 33:37Speaker 5: So like I think he can wait four.
- 33:39Speaker 3: We got to talk about that though etn.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Allegedly the reason that he can change directions so fast
- 33:45Speaker 4: is because after he tore that achilles, they couldn't get
- 33:48Speaker 4: his foot to go completely back the right direction.
- 33:50Speaker 3: So when he cuts, people don't know where.
- 33:51Speaker 4: He's gonna go because his foot sits out.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Here like a club.
- 33:54Speaker 1: He kind of does have the kind of rubbed He
- 33:57Speaker 1: kind of runs like a duck a little bit.
- 33:58Speaker 3: That's that's why it's the surgery.
- 34:00Speaker 5: It's hilarious.
- 34:01Speaker 1: The uh yeah, the love thing is gonna be interesting,
- 34:04Speaker 1: probably the most fascinating prospects.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Oh if he got to twelve with the Cowboys, I'd
- 34:11Speaker 5: be like shocked. At this point. Here's an interesting one.
- 34:14Speaker 6: I keep hearing now and this is like a weird
- 34:17Speaker 6: like rumor that's out there and I don't actually buy
- 34:19Speaker 6: this one, So like I'm not gonna give it like
- 34:21Speaker 6: like a lot of credence.
- 34:22Speaker 5: But someone keeps.
- 34:23Speaker 6: Saying, if there's anybody that someone's going to trade up for,
- 34:26Speaker 6: it's Jeremiah Love in this class, And I'm like, when
- 34:29Speaker 6: is the last time a team traded up for a
- 34:31Speaker 6: running back in the first rounds?
- 34:32Speaker 5: Like, when is the last time that's happened.
- 34:34Speaker 6: I haven't done the research on it yet, but like,
- 34:36Speaker 6: I cannot remember that happening.
- 34:38Speaker 5: I because like even Jimi or Gibbs, the.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Droit was it Ricky Williams.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Maybe Ricky Williams, I guess, and they mortgaged their entire
- 34:46Speaker 6: team to get Ricky Williams and it didn't actually end
- 34:48Speaker 6: up working out very well, right, So, like I don't know,
- 34:51Speaker 6: Like I I generally speaking, I'm a little bit of
- 34:54Speaker 6: a purist of don't take a running back in the
- 34:56Speaker 6: top ten, But I do think there's exceptions in draft.
- 35:00Speaker 6: I don't think this is a good It's this is
- 35:02Speaker 6: a weird draft class because you could argue the four
- 35:04Speaker 6: best players in this draft play non premium positions, like
- 35:07Speaker 6: you could you could argue it's Jeremiah Love at running back,
- 35:09Speaker 6: Caleb Downson safety, and then two linebackers from Ohio State, right, So,
- 35:12Speaker 6: like you could argue this is a non premium draft,
- 35:15Speaker 6: which is why I'm not like I'm not buying into
- 35:17Speaker 6: the positional value conversation.
- 35:22Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 35:24Speaker 6: Well, I mean, like, seriously, you could add him, and
- 35:26Speaker 6: then there's a lot of people that like, uh, the
- 35:29Speaker 6: guard from Penn State Vega, who is you know again,
- 35:32Speaker 6: he's a guard. That's not a premium position at all.
- 35:34Speaker 6: Like that's the point of it. And even the defensive
- 35:36Speaker 6: tackle room this year, where we would typically think value
- 35:39Speaker 6: is with these guys that can create a lot of
- 35:40Speaker 6: sack production and be penetrators.
- 35:42Speaker 5: This is more of a nose tackle class. So like,
- 35:44Speaker 5: this is just a weird draft in the sense of
- 35:46Speaker 5: I don't care as much.
- 35:47Speaker 6: About positional value because I think that the non positional
- 35:50Speaker 6: value positions are the ones that are the best in
- 35:53Speaker 6: this draft by far. Like this is a safety linebacker
- 35:55Speaker 6: Jeremiah Love class this year. That's what it is at
- 35:59Speaker 6: is it a good draft class? Just looking at it generally.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I know, I know what you're saying about the the
- 36:05Speaker 1: not the positional need the traditional you gotta get your
- 36:09Speaker 1: left tackle, gotta get your quarterback, gotta lock up the
- 36:13Speaker 1: top dB, those are the best drafts.
- 36:16Speaker 2: But drafts we're also talking.
- 36:18Speaker 1: About the guys at the top, and I think that
- 36:20Speaker 1: that is a mistake that we often get into and
- 36:22Speaker 1: judging draft classes is just looking at the top twenty picks.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Gms and scouts are much more interested in the total
- 36:29Speaker 1: body of the seven rounds. Do you think this is
- 36:32Speaker 1: a good draft for a general manager or a scout
- 36:35Speaker 1: going in?
- 36:36Speaker 6: Well, I love your note there on how scouts viewed
- 36:38Speaker 6: the draft. I mean the rams have consistently over the
- 36:41Speaker 6: last few years like devalued first round picks at times,
- 36:43Speaker 6: but they filled gaps with late day two to day
- 36:46Speaker 6: three picks, like talking about like Poka Nakua and Kyraen
- 36:49Speaker 6: Williams and all those things. So, like value throughout is
- 36:51Speaker 6: very important. When I judge a draft, it's based upon
- 36:54Speaker 6: two things. One, it's the top end talent at the
- 36:57Speaker 6: you know, right at the top of the board. And
- 36:59Speaker 6: then it is the depth.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Of the class.
- 37:01Speaker 6: And so to answer your question and to give slight
- 37:03Speaker 6: more analysis afterwards, no, I don't think this is a
- 37:06Speaker 6: good draft.
- 37:06Speaker 5: I think this is a below average draft by all indicators.
- 37:09Speaker 6: It is because I do think the top of the
- 37:11Speaker 6: draft needs to be judged by the valuable positions. So
- 37:15Speaker 6: like this year, it's not a great left tackle draft.
- 37:17Speaker 6: It's a one quarterback draft. And the edge group I
- 37:19Speaker 6: think is like, it's a good edge group at the top,
- 37:22Speaker 6: but more I think, more often than not, like the
- 37:24Speaker 6: bane bai Lea tier is probably more in like the
- 37:28Speaker 6: eight to fifteen range in a draft than a team
- 37:30Speaker 6: that maybe is going to draft them at number two. Right,
- 37:32Speaker 6: So like I think that you have to judge it
- 37:34Speaker 6: at the top by that criteria. And then I'll tell you, guys,
- 37:38Speaker 6: like I've done way too many, like three four round
- 37:40Speaker 6: mock drafts at this point, when I'm getting to like
- 37:41Speaker 6: the late portion of like mid to late third rounds,
- 37:45Speaker 6: it is like pulling teeth, man, Like it really is.
- 37:48Speaker 6: So I don't think the depth is great, and I
- 37:49Speaker 6: do think that the fact that the premium positions are
- 37:52Speaker 6: not great this year does make it a well below
- 37:54Speaker 6: average draft in my opinion.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Kendrew was talking about the tight end position, and it
- 37:58Speaker 1: does seem like we've got a couple of freaks at
- 38:01Speaker 1: the top. Where do you land on Sadiq and did
- 38:04Speaker 1: he sort of steal the weekend from from Stours Vanderbilt
- 38:10Speaker 1: to a lot of people really like who do you like.
- 38:14Speaker 2: More and what do you think of the tight end
- 38:16Speaker 2: class at the top?
- 38:17Speaker 5: So Sid I love Sadik as a player.
- 38:20Speaker 6: I do think that his usage was very up and
- 38:22Speaker 6: down at Oregon, but I do think that the upside
- 38:24Speaker 6: is still tremendous because I mean, you can't teach two
- 38:26Speaker 6: hundred and forty one pounds that runs four three nine
- 38:28Speaker 6: and has a forty two and a half inch for like,
- 38:29Speaker 6: it's just crazy stuff. Man, It's funny, like he he
- 38:33Speaker 6: made me look a little prophetic to a degree after
- 38:35Speaker 6: he had his testing because before the season I was
- 38:37Speaker 6: talking to a scout and he made them look prophetic
- 38:39Speaker 6: when they I was like, hey, what do you got
- 38:41Speaker 6: on Sadik? Because I'd heard that some scouts were really
- 38:43Speaker 6: high on I mean even before here's a backup the
- 38:45Speaker 6: Terrence Ferguson previously right, So like it was like, how
- 38:47Speaker 6: good is Sadiq? And the one scout said, this is
- 38:49Speaker 6: Vernon Davis again. And when you look like his numbers
- 38:52Speaker 6: next to Vernon Davis coming out of Maryland, it's very similar.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Like I think I think Vernon ran like four to
- 38:58Speaker 6: four flats and Sadik ran four to three nine and
- 39:00Speaker 6: they both for forty plus into vertical guys, so it
- 39:02Speaker 6: is eerily similar. So I think as long as their
- 39:05Speaker 6: usage is better on the NFL level and you kind
- 39:07Speaker 6: of develop his routree a little bit, Kenyan Sadik is
- 39:10Speaker 6: a physical block or two, which I think a lot
- 39:12Speaker 6: of people kind of lose sight of. So like he's
- 39:13Speaker 6: an all around dude that he can play f he
- 39:16Speaker 6: can play wide, like he can play in the slot
- 39:18Speaker 6: of times as well, so like he can play attached
- 39:20Speaker 6: or detached. So he's tied on one in this class,
- 39:22Speaker 6: and I think there's like a big tear drop after him.
- 39:24Speaker 6: To be honest with you, I still like Stours, but
- 39:27Speaker 6: like how I agreed players just in general, is the
- 39:30Speaker 6: more you can do and the more plus you're at,
- 39:33Speaker 6: the higher caliber player you are. For me, Sadik is
- 39:36Speaker 6: just a versatile weapon. For me, Stours is a pure
- 39:39Speaker 6: f tight end, which there's nothing.
- 39:40Speaker 5: Wrong with that.
- 39:41Speaker 6: But there's just gonna be some teams that overvalue or
- 39:43Speaker 6: maybe just value higher the blocking ability and they're not
- 39:46Speaker 6: even gonna give Stours at the time of day. They're
- 39:48Speaker 6: just gonna be like, you can't be you can't be
- 39:50Speaker 6: a guy that's gonna play in line forty five and
- 39:52Speaker 6: half invert plays obviously, eleven three broad plays, four or
- 39:56Speaker 6: five months speed plays. He's gonna have a role in
- 39:58Speaker 6: the NFL level, and it's probably gonna be like an
- 40:00Speaker 6: An Ingram type of player more than likely, which I
- 40:02Speaker 6: think does give him a chance to maybe get into
- 40:04Speaker 6: the back end of round one after the performance. But
- 40:07Speaker 6: I do think we we're talking about like tiers of
- 40:08Speaker 6: tight ends. I think that Kenyan Sadik is tight end
- 40:10Speaker 6: won by a pretty good, pretty good margin right now.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Okay, so not the sexiest draft class in general, not
- 40:16Speaker 4: the sexiest quarterback draft class. I could get cue and
- 40:19Speaker 4: said here and ask you about Fernando Mendoza compared to
- 40:22Speaker 4: last year's quarterbacks. I could sit here and ask you
- 40:24Speaker 4: about Ty Simpson falling. I could sit here and ask
- 40:26Speaker 4: you about Diego Pavia, but quite frankly, I don't give
- 40:29Speaker 4: a fuck about him.
- 40:30Speaker 5: What I would like to.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Ask you, though, I'm going to put the gun to
- 40:34Speaker 4: your head quite closely here. I want to talk about
- 40:36Speaker 4: the quarterbacks, but I want to know who asked for
- 40:40Speaker 4: Fernando Mendoza to get arrested.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Who do you think right now, just gut reaction.
- 40:47Speaker 5: Probably the Jets, I guess, right, like.
- 40:50Speaker 6: The Jets have I mean, because we were when we
- 40:52Speaker 6: were positioning the So the Jets went through that tailspin
- 40:55Speaker 6: at the end of the year where they basically, I mean,
- 40:56Speaker 6: I'm tanking. Isn't a thing in the NFL quote unquote,
- 40:59Speaker 6: but like let's call it what it was. They were
- 41:01Speaker 6: trying to position for a higher draft pick right when
- 41:03Speaker 6: they were had the number two pick. Originally, you're like, Okay, Mendoza,
- 41:07Speaker 6: Dante More gonna fight it out. They get one of
- 41:10Speaker 6: those two guys, and you feel good about their standing
- 41:12Speaker 6: at number two.
- 41:13Speaker 5: As soon as he went back to school and.
- 41:15Speaker 6: Leonora's Sellers fell off the face of the earth and
- 41:18Speaker 6: ty Simpson had his downslide down the stretch of the season,
- 41:21Speaker 6: You're like, damn, the Jets are gonna just gonna keep
- 41:23Speaker 6: jetting now, right Like this.
- 41:24Speaker 5: Is bad, Like you still can't find your quarterback.
- 41:26Speaker 6: So I mean, if there's a team that is like
- 41:28Speaker 6: for some reason hoping and praying that the Raiders, for
- 41:32Speaker 6: whatever reason, just decide we don't want Bernando Mendoze at
- 41:34Speaker 6: number one, which I don't think is going to happen.
- 41:36Speaker 6: But if there was a team, it's probably the New
- 41:38Speaker 6: York Jets because like they even I mean, they made
- 41:40Speaker 6: a bunch of trades, like they did to Queen and
- 41:41Speaker 6: Williams trade. They did the sauce garter trade because they
- 41:43Speaker 6: were trying to position themselves to get the AMMO to
- 41:46Speaker 6: get their quarterback in case they weren't in the right spot.
- 41:48Speaker 6: And then you get the number two pick and it's
- 41:50Speaker 6: a one quarterback class. Like, the Jets are in a
- 41:52Speaker 6: really tough spot right now.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I wonder what Fernando Mendoza would have to do, what
- 41:58Speaker 1: crime he would have to commit for him to actually
- 42:00Speaker 1: fall in this draft with how little the quarterback position
- 42:04Speaker 1: is gaining steam outside of him.
- 42:07Speaker 6: Gas mask bong, Laramie Tunzel situations, and there's too much
- 42:12Speaker 6: legality with smoking weed now, I don't even think that
- 42:15Speaker 6: that would do it.
- 42:16Speaker 2: It would have to be something pretty egregious for him.
- 42:19Speaker 4: When I worked in San Francisco that came out because
- 42:21Speaker 4: I was interning out there when the Laramie Tunsel thing happened.
- 42:24Speaker 4: We tried and weed was already legal in California at
- 42:27Speaker 4: this point. As an intern, they sent me out trying
- 42:30Speaker 4: to find a gas mask at Loewe's home depot everywhere,
- 42:34Speaker 4: couldn't get one.
- 42:36Speaker 1: People in San Francisco probably like I don't understand the problem.
- 42:40Speaker 2: That's part of the job, interview.
- 42:43Speaker 6: And to overlook a lot of stuff with quarterbacks obviously
- 42:47Speaker 6: too right, Like you're gonna overlook a lot and unfortunately,
- 42:50Speaker 6: you know you never say never to guys doing stupid stuff.
- 42:52Speaker 6: But like Ferananamen doses.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Like kidding me people you've ever seen, right, So like
- 42:57Speaker 5: good luck trying to hope that he does something stupid
- 42:59Speaker 5: from here till April.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Yeah, zero percent chance.
- 43:01Speaker 1: That's that's how I would poet Georgia. It just like
- 43:06Speaker 1: he's just like the last guy in the world to
- 43:08Speaker 1: break the law. I don't even think you would know
- 43:10Speaker 1: how to if he tried. All right, two last things
- 43:13Speaker 1: for you, second best quarterback in this year's drafts class,
- 43:16Speaker 1: and I mean, is it clearly Ty Simpson? And then
- 43:19Speaker 1: how concerned are you with the roupe in bayin arm length?
- 43:23Speaker 5: Sure?
- 43:23Speaker 6: I yeah, it's Ty Simpson by default, I mean pretty much,
- 43:26Speaker 6: because like Tye had a struggling like first game of
- 43:30Speaker 6: the season against Florida State and then he had a
- 43:31Speaker 6: poor last section of the season just kind of down
- 43:34Speaker 6: the stretch because he was banged up and injured.
- 43:37Speaker 5: But I do think that.
- 43:37Speaker 6: The middle, like eighth of the season was was good.
- 43:40Speaker 6: You know it was it was It was first round
- 43:42Speaker 6: level tape. And I think the fact that he showed
- 43:44Speaker 6: up to Indianapolis and he was over two hundred and
- 43:46Speaker 6: ten pounds was a good step because he needs to
- 43:47Speaker 6: show that he could stay healthy, right, so like I
- 43:49Speaker 6: wanted him to get a little bit of body armor
- 43:51Speaker 6: on him and show that maybe you're a little bit
- 43:53Speaker 6: more durable moving forward. So I think that middle section
- 43:55Speaker 6: of the season, teams are still going to like a
- 43:57Speaker 6: lot of what Ty Simpson is. I don't know if
- 44:00Speaker 6: that is a guy that eventually pushes to be a
- 44:02Speaker 6: top ten pick mid first round, or is it back
- 44:05Speaker 6: into the first round guy or maybe even early second
- 44:06Speaker 6: I'm not one hundred percent sure. I tend to think
- 44:08Speaker 6: that there is a quarterback tax, so I think a
- 44:10Speaker 6: team will ultimately push it, pull the trigger on him
- 44:13Speaker 6: inside of the top thirty two. But I do think
- 44:15Speaker 6: he's firm, like after that, it's like Garrett nus Meyer,
- 44:18Speaker 6: Taylor Green, we'll probably talking about more towards top one hundred,
- 44:21Speaker 6: than we are for a top thirty two selection, arguably right,
- 44:25Speaker 6: So I do think it is ty Simpson there for.
- 44:27Speaker 5: The Reuben Bay thing. I like, so when you look
- 44:31Speaker 5: at the amil exactly. Yeah. Funny enough.
- 44:35Speaker 6: One of the one of the guys that I was
- 44:36Speaker 6: hanging out with it covers the Tennessee Titans, Nick Suss
- 44:39Speaker 6: for The Tennessee and he was actually taught. He actually
- 44:42Speaker 6: called a one of the best, one of the most
- 44:44Speaker 6: renowned paleontologists in the country to talk about the t
- 44:47Speaker 6: rex and like what it sounded really weird when I
- 44:50Speaker 6: first heard it, but then I read the piece, I
- 44:51Speaker 6: was like, this actually kind of makes sense. Like he
- 44:53Speaker 6: was not basically talking about like what the deficiencies are
- 44:56Speaker 6: for having short arms in like their habitsat which was
- 44:58Speaker 6: just hilarious.
- 44:59Speaker 5: I would actually recomm pieces.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Right, We'll go, I mean I am a dinosaur freak. Immediately, Yes,
- 45:05Speaker 3: it was so funny.
- 45:06Speaker 5: It was like the most like off the wall thing.
- 45:07Speaker 5: When I first heard it, I'm like, that is so silly.
- 45:09Speaker 6: And then I read it and I'm like, it's kind
- 45:11Speaker 6: of funny, Like it makes some sense.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Like the parallels and everything. But all that is to say, like.
- 45:18Speaker 6: I am I'm okay with going for outliers at times
- 45:22Speaker 6: if you feel really vindicated in the outlier. But when
- 45:25Speaker 6: we're talking about sub thirty one inch arms, people think
- 45:28Speaker 6: it's silly and go to the tape. But when there's
- 45:31Speaker 6: historical numbers of thousands of players since nineteen ninety nine,
- 45:35Speaker 6: because that's where like mock draft, mock draftable excuse me
- 45:38Speaker 6: goes back to and you see that there's been nobody
- 45:41Speaker 6: with his measurements historically has been a good player in
- 45:45Speaker 6: the NFL, Like, not a single one. You can understand
- 45:49Speaker 6: why some NFL teams are like, I'm not betting on
- 45:51Speaker 6: that guy as an outlier. Like there's no historical data.
- 45:54Speaker 6: There's not even like one or two players. People keep
- 45:55Speaker 6: trying to compare it to like Tourell Suggs. It's like Guysterrell
- 45:58Speaker 6: Suggs had much like con certainly longer arms than he did,
- 46:02Speaker 6: and so like there's just like that interesting battle of
- 46:04Speaker 6: like the historical outlier conversation. I do think that ruben
- 46:08Speaker 6: Bain is going to be a good outlier in sense
- 46:09Speaker 6: of like he's going to be a good player, but
- 46:11Speaker 6: I am worried about him being a premier pass rusher
- 46:14Speaker 6: in the NFL level, because it's not just the arm
- 46:16Speaker 6: length ability to play outside his frame. If you have
- 46:18Speaker 6: lack of length though at one of those types of position,
- 46:21Speaker 6: edge offensive tackle, you need over compensating traits in my opinion,
- 46:25Speaker 6: to make up for it. And I think that his
- 46:27Speaker 6: closing speed is like very average to blow average as well.
- 46:30Speaker 6: So I think that he's going to cause a lot
- 46:31Speaker 6: of havoc, but I don't think he's going to finish
- 46:33Speaker 6: a lot of plays. So is that a guy you're
- 46:36Speaker 6: taking in the top five? I wouldn't want to. Would
- 46:38Speaker 6: I rather that guy be like a mid to late
- 46:40Speaker 6: first rounder. Yes, I think in most years you'd rather
- 46:42Speaker 6: him being that bucket because he's gonna be a good player.
- 46:44Speaker 6: But as he had the upside to being an elite
- 46:47Speaker 6: pro bowler, all pro, which you want to draft inside
- 46:49Speaker 6: the top five, I just don't see that with Ruben Bain.
- 46:51Speaker 5: I do have my concerns.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Last thing, because everybody's curious, now, if there was a
- 46:56Speaker 1: Tarannosaurus Rex in this year's drafts class playing at the edge,
- 47:00Speaker 1: where would he go in the draft?
- 47:03Speaker 5: I mean number one overall?
- 47:04Speaker 6: Right, I mean like that's I mean, I don't know
- 47:07Speaker 6: what the miles per hour on t rex are but
- 47:09Speaker 6: I assume that they are quite fast for their size,
- 47:11Speaker 6: and then they're also gigantic. So I mean, how many
- 47:14Speaker 6: blockers would you need to handle a t rex, a
- 47:16Speaker 6: real life t rex.
- 47:17Speaker 3: I don't know, five, yeah, like yeah, like yeah, a lot.
- 47:22Speaker 2: I'd worry about character concerns probably with the t rex.
- 47:26Speaker 5: It's fair, He's it's killed a lot of things, right,
- 47:28Speaker 5: So yeah, there's a lot of character cons there.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Plus their extinct.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Now, so I mean the medicals, I'm not sure the
- 47:33Speaker 1: medicals would come back clean.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Would you guys believe me if I said that my
- 47:37Speaker 4: literal handbag, like my purse that I carry everywhere right
- 47:41Speaker 4: now on my counter is a dinosaur.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm buying that as it is.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Ryan just met you, but I I've definitely that checks
- 47:48Speaker 1: that checks out.
- 47:49Speaker 6: I respected My wife's obsessed with dinosaurs. She's like, anytime
- 47:53Speaker 6: you know Jurassic World or Jurassic Parker on, she's watching it.
- 47:55Speaker 5: Right, So like, I respect it. I respect it.

- 48:31Speaker 6: the time. I don't know anything about that. I'm not
- 48:32Speaker 6: as technologically savvy as that. But at Rise and Draft
