Nevada Urban Indians is hosting a free back-to-school giveaway this Friday, July 17th, from 3 PM to 7 PM in Reno — packed with backpacks, school supplies, food, vaccines, and sports physicals (bookings required). Supplies range from notebooks to branded backpacks for all grades K-12, funded by community grants. Families can also access resources from their domestic violence, youth, and opiate response programs. A second event is set for August 1st in Carson City.
