After a quick bout of irritation today, I decided to take action and do something about the problem. I gave up a big chunk of my day to clear a portion of the public sidewalk that will go uncleared otherwise. I still have a LOT to do over the coming days, but I made a big dent in it today. I don't say this to seek praise. I don't need it nor deserve it. My actions today used to be common in this country. I desire that for us again.
