- 1:48We're happy to have him on. We are now talking to former
- 1:51Jaguars, Broncos and Cowboys defensive end, the one we call
- 1:55Mr. Mincey, Jeremy. Mincey, Jeremy, What's up,
- 1:58buddy? What's happening?
- 2:00What's happening to everybody? How y'all?
- 2:02Doing bro. So, so we so we went back and
- 2:09forth. So Q, this is Q's first show as
- 2:12a partner in the show. And I speedy was asking, well,
- 2:17who do you want to have on your first show?
- 2:19And he said, we, we mentioned you and he's like me and Jeremy
- 2:22are great friends. We, we talk all the time.
- 2:24And I was like, so Speedy was like, so, so, so let's, let's
- 2:28get into your connection with Quinton couples.
- 2:31All right, because obviously you guys play for opposing teams and
- 2:36you have to hate each other on a football field.
- 2:38You can't love each other. You can't have this love fest.
- 2:40So what? Do you mean?
- 2:42You can't love each other. You hate.
- 2:46You can't love another teammate, another guy playing team.
- 2:50You can't. You can't.
- 2:51You can. All right.
- 2:53Wait a second. You can't.
- 2:54So. So what?
- 2:57I love my son, but sometimes we get out of order.
- 2:59You got to spank him on his butt.
- 3:00Right. Well, this has nothing to do.
- 3:02Listen, first of all, I don't want Q or you smacking me on the
- 3:06butt, all right? There's no way I'm allowing
- 3:09that. There's no way I'm allowing
- 3:11that. But the the fact here is when
- 3:13you're playing football against one another, you're playing for
- 3:15opposing teams, you're not supposed to like each other.
- 3:18At the end of the game. You want to kiss and make up and
- 3:21you want to, you know, I don't know what you guys do in your
- 3:23private life, but hey, whatever you guys like to do, that's
- 3:26great for you, but you got to hate each other.
- 3:28I mean, you have to. I mean, I mean, I've learned to
- 3:35hate people into the to the to the score set 00, you know what
- 3:39I mean? 000 you know so. 0000.
- 3:42I mean, remember, it's still entertainment.
- 3:44It's only entertainment. That's it.
- 3:47This isn't Gladiator. This isn't Gladiator.
- 3:49This isn't Russell Crowe. Not going against each other.
- 3:52Are you entertained? We're not.
- 3:55Going to get each other. I mean, I mean, that's just the
- 3:57truth, you know what I mean? Like a lot of us rock with each
- 4:00other, but you know, when the pads on, I don't want to talk to
- 4:03you. I don't want to do none of that.
- 4:05Not before the game. Now after the game we could
- 4:07change jerseys, we go eat some Subway or whatever you want to
- 4:11do, but when the game on is on, you know, that's just that that
- 4:15comes. Oh, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 4:17You're. So you're telling me you're a
- 4:19cheap date? Is that what you're telling me?
- 4:21You're going to take a guy to Subway?
- 4:23You, you want to go to a steak dinner you don't want to go to?
- 4:25I'd rather go to Applebee's or Fridays before I'm going to
- 4:28Subway. Why Subway?
- 4:31I mean, it's a New York, right? It's a New York thing, right?
- 4:33Everything's a New York thing here.
- 4:35Everything's a New York thing. Hey, listen, you guys are
- 4:42professional athletes. You guys are making the dough.
- 4:44I mean, take me to a steak dinner.
- 4:46Yeah. I'm not a cheap date.
- 4:48If Q comes out here, I'm taking him to a steak dinner.
- 4:52Yeah, that's, that's, I mean that's true.
- 4:53But I'm just using that, you know, as a little, you know,
- 4:57little poke a little fun at the New York, you know, the New York
- 5:00Times. The New York Times, No schmo.
- 5:04Wall Street Journal. We don't have new space
- 5:06newspapers here anymore. Nobody wants to write.
- 5:09They're going on social media. They're posting up crap.
- 5:11We got Kevin Durant, who owns like 10 Twitter pages.
- 5:15Nobody cares about newspapers anymore.
- 5:18They care about how many people are following this guy, how many
- 5:21people are following Jeremy Mincy, how many people are
- 5:24watching his YouTube channel. That's all they care about now.
- 5:27They don't care what you're writing.
- 5:28It's so wrong. I just don't understand it.
- 5:31These young kids, we got zoot in the background and Dom, all
- 5:34these interns, these guys that they're just like the new age
- 5:37personalities and and back end interns that are going to want
- 5:41to do this and want to be a part of this business in the future.
- 5:44They they are they're like that new age type of person, you
- 5:48know, personality or journalist that we want or we're we're
- 5:52looking for in the future and us we're all guys.
- 5:55I mean, QQ is a little bit younger than me, nine years.
- 5:59Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't you, don't you do a job at
- 6:01Chamberlain thing? Don't you do a job at
- 6:03Chamberlain? Don't you do that?
- 6:06Don't you do that? You're making it seem like I'm
- 6:08as old as dirt. I'm not as old as Moses.
- 6:11I wasn't born in the BC's. I was born now.
- 6:14So I'm a little bit older than you.
- 6:15I'm about 9 or 8 years old. Celebrate 50 this year, so
- 6:19that's cool. Get out of here.
- 6:20I'm now. You're really making it seem
- 6:23like I'm old. But Jeremy, you, you watch the
- 6:25game this year and your Broncos and, and I'll say this, I'll be
- 6:29very, very nice. The Broncos got very lucky this
- 6:32whole Josh Allen thing and how Josh Allen was screwed to play
- 6:37in the AFC title game because that ball was caught by by Cooks
- 6:42and for some reason the referee took it away from him that it
- 6:46was ripped out of his hands. He was down on his knees.
- 6:48He had the ball, he had control the ball.
- 6:50But somehow the Broncos got lucky.
- 6:52They took the ball right back down the field and they won the
- 6:54game and they played the Patriots in the AFC title game
- 6:57and we all know what happened. Do you believe that was a catch?
- 7:00Yes or no do? You absolutely I'm, I'm listen,
- 7:03I've been through that before. That was that it seemed like the
- 7:05same scenario that happened with US versus Green Bay in 2014.
- 7:11Go look at that. It's exact.
- 7:13It's like it's, it's like they want who they want to win.
- 7:16Sometimes I feel you know, so it is what it is.
- 7:20So you're so you're telling me that the NFL is rigged?
- 7:23Is that what you're telling? It I wouldn't, I wouldn't say
- 7:27that. I would just say, you know, you
- 7:29know. Don't lie to us now.
- 7:31Mysterious things. I mean, think about, if you
- 7:34think about that sequence, you just, you just said, right?
- 7:38And compare that to the Dallas Cowboys 2014, that sounds so
- 7:43similar. Aaron Rodgers came right back
- 7:48and scored after they ruled that incomplete by dead.
- 7:53So it's the same to me. It's the same.
- 7:56Same scenario. That's kind of fishy if you
- 7:59think about it. Do you think they beat the New
- 8:02England Patriots if Bo Knicks was healthy?
- 8:04Yeah, yeah, absolutely, absolutely.
- 8:08So their acquisitions to this offseason, they added a wide
- 8:11receiver and Jalen Waddle. They now they had an explosive
- 8:14wide receiver, a guy that can go out there and catch the ball in
- 8:18a, in a Sean Payton offense. I mean, he's explosive.
- 8:20They have Courtland Sutton, they're they're explosive.
- 8:23They have a good running game. I don't think they have any
- 8:26weaknesses, including their defense.
- 8:27Are they the favorites? Are coming out of the AFC and
- 8:29why? I don't know.
- 8:30It's going to be a toss up. You know, the AFC is always
- 8:35tricky. You know, one year you got the
- 8:38Texans might going to run, then you got Jaguars going to run.
- 8:42I mean, since Brady left, it's for the taking for anybody.
- 8:44Since Brady and Manning been gone and and Big Ben and all
- 8:48those greats, like it's up for grabs, man.
- 8:51And it's going to be exciting year this year to watch.
- 8:55What was the Jaguar year? No, Jack, the Jags didn't do
- 8:59bad. I mean, come on, cute.
- 9:02We've beaten you guys. Everybody beats the New York
- 9:11Jets. Everybody beats the New York
- 9:13Jets. You attacking The Jets?
- 9:17I'm a Jets fan, but it's the truth.
- 9:20It's not a lie. It's not.
- 9:23Come on, we lying to each other here.
- 9:26The Jets organization has been a debacle.
- 9:28An absolute debacle, an organization that doesn't know
- 9:31how to pick a coach, doesn't know how to pick AGM.
- 9:34Now, maybe they're right. I, I think they're in a really
- 9:36good position. I think Darren emoji emoji is,
- 9:39is going to be a good GM. He's proving to me that he knows
- 9:42what he's doing. We still are waiting to see what
- 9:44Aaron Glenn is all about. And that's going to take one
- 9:47more year. And, and if he doesn't put up or
- 9:49shut up this year, he's going to be gone and The Jets are going
- 9:51to be looking for yet again, another head coach.
- 9:54So I, we're not going to lie to each other here.
- 9:57I'm a Jet fan, but I'm not going to sit here and say, well, you
- 10:00know, The Jets, they're a semi good organization.
- 10:03They're a terrible run organization.
- 10:05So with the Giants, the Giants, Giants haven't won anything
- 10:08since 2011. OK.
- 10:10The Giants have been a debacle of an organization too.
- 10:13We all know what was going on with Steve Tisch a couple of
- 10:15couple of months ago. We know the whole Epstein thing
- 10:18and he should be losing his position over there with the
- 10:21Giants. John Mayra.
- 10:22Oh, he just decides to get rid of their best, most explosive
- 10:25player in team history for nothing.
- 10:27That made a lot of sense. And then they you know, they
- 10:30give Daniel Jones a big time contract and he and they bring
- 10:33in a Waller who Waller it was in and out.
- 10:37The guy couldn't stay healthy. I mean, everything the Giants
- 10:39have done, everything The Jets have done over the last couple
- 10:42years, they've they've fallen flat on their face.
- 10:44So New York football has been garbage, except the Buffalo
- 10:47Bills. And that's why I think the
- 10:49Buffalo Bills adding DJ Moore this offseason gives them just
- 10:54as good a chance as the Broncos. I think those are the two most
- 10:58reliable teams in the AFC this year.
- 11:00Same results, different year. I don't know, I think my Jaguar
- 11:05is going to surprise you. We've been in the playoffs 40
- 11:11yards, man, these last two years we've been to the playoffs more
- 11:15than you guys, I mean, but we were still a step ahead, you
- 11:20know what I'm saying? Like, hey, at least we get the
- 11:29at least we get the T-shirts. Yeah, you do.
- 11:33Don't go to Africa. Hey, hey, hey, Jeremy.
- 11:37The only thing that you guys have on your team is a mascot,
- 11:40and his name is the Gremlin. OK, That's it.
- 11:43Travis the Gremlin. Hunter I hate Travis so bad.
- 11:46Why do I hate him so bad? Well, I met him at the Heisman.
- 11:49I know why my father. I met him at the best Trevor
- 11:52I'm. I want to hear the story.
- 11:54So I so I went to the Heisman Trophy dinner, all right.
- 11:57It was my first Heisman Trophy dinner and I thought Ashton
- 12:00Gente should have won in the Heisman Trophy.
- 12:02That's that was my opinion I thought.
- 12:04He I agree with that. I thought he was the best
- 12:06player. So did every single media person
- 12:08there thought that he should have won, including the
- 12:11quarterbacks that were there and.
- 12:13So how did he not? Win so, so hold on.
- 12:16So hold on. So Deion Sanders was there and
- 12:19Deion Sanders was, you know, you know, Deion Sanders, he likes to
- 12:23open his mouth. And so we were up there and they
- 12:27were taking pictures with the Heisman Trophy before they were
- 12:29going to the stage. And he was talking to Ward
- 12:33about, you know, Cam Ward about playing here in New York.
- 12:37And he he was like, yeah, yeah. He's like, I, I, I like The Jets
- 12:40and the Giants. He said The Jets.
- 12:42Why would you want to play for The Jets?
- 12:44And I looked at, I looked at Travis Hunter and I said, and
- 12:46who are you playing for? Who's going to draft you?
- 12:49If you're a top five, pick a crappy team.
- 12:52And by the way, we don't need you because we have a guy named
- 12:55Sauce who's much better than you.
- 12:56And I walked right past him and we had Scooby on the show from
- 13:00the Wall Street Journal who came and he said, I cannot believe
- 13:03you said that in front of the media.
- 13:05He said, I can't believe you said that as loud as you did to
- 13:08the media. And, and I, I told him straight
- 13:10out, I walked right out of the room and Travis Hunter gave me
- 13:13one of these, one of these looks that he want to RIP my freaking
- 13:16head off my body. And I'll never forget when he
- 13:19came back in, when he won the Heisman Trophy, I was sitting
- 13:24right in front of him and I raised my hand and he would not
- 13:26answer my question. So that's why I hate Travis
- 13:30Hunter. I don't like him.
- 13:32I don't like him. I I, I think to me, giving him
- 13:35the name the gremlin, I mean, maybe that gives him some kind
- 13:38of abbreviation to his name. I mean nobody.
- 13:41He's a failure. I I said to everybody he wasn't
- 13:44going to he wasn't going to have more than a touchdown.
- 13:46They. Should go with this failure.
- 13:47He's a failure. He gave he played 10.
- 13:55Games he's. Receiver.
- 13:58You could say that he sticks. By the way, our executive
- 14:02producer, Mr. Aaron Fish Fishman said he's going to be a better
- 14:05wide receiver. I said no, he's going to be a
- 14:07better corner in the league. That would be the only way he
- 14:10was going to be successful. I said that he was going to be a
- 14:12corner and he should not be playing two way football.
- 14:16I never thought he should be a wide receiver.
- 14:18He just, I don't know if he has it in him.
- 14:21I, I, I look at the wide receivers and the athletic gifts
- 14:23that these. And I'm not saying he's not
- 14:24athletically gifted. I just think I look at Jamar
- 14:27Chase, you look at Jefferson, all these guys, they're great
- 14:30route runners. I don't think Travis Hunter is a
- 14:32great route runner. That's my opinion.
- 14:34Watching him play college ball. He played for a team in
- 14:36Colorado. Who did they play?
- 14:38How many top 25 defenses did he play the his final year to win a
- 14:42Heisman Trophy? Why?
- 14:43Because he played corner and he was a wide receiver.
- 14:46He won the Heisman Trophy. No, because Deion Sanders was
- 14:48sitting up there every single week saying I've got the best
- 14:52player in the world and he plays like me.
- 14:55Yeah, give me a break. It to me he probably was the.
- 14:58Best player though he wasn't. Best athlete for sure he was.
- 15:03Yeah, because he played 22 positions.
- 15:05He was in color. Nobody was touching touching
- 15:07him. Hold on one second.
- 15:09So you're telling me athlete it? Wise athlete it wise.
- 15:12So you're telling me so? He.
- 15:14Is a superb athlete, yeah, that's.
- 15:16Athlete, you got to give it to him now he is.
- 15:18You like the data, but right now did.
- 15:21He had a better season than GT now athleticism.
- 15:26I'm going. To tell you I'm going to tell
- 15:28you has a better athletic gifts than he does and that's Cam
- 15:31Ward. I watch Cam Ward and I've
- 15:33watched his training out of. Here I'm telling.
- 15:35You, I'm telling you, you gotta watch his training.
- 15:37You gotta watch his training guys Quarterback.
- 15:39Has more athletic? Absolutely.
- 15:41Absolutely. Remembering he wasn't.
- 15:44Absolutely. Yeah, This, this is.
- 15:47You can this. Is history you can flip.
- 15:49Whatever you want. You can flip pancakes.
- 15:51You can flip burgers. You can flip this. 1 I believe
- 15:55Cam Ward. I've watched this guy's
- 15:56training. I watch the way he trains, the
- 15:58way he runs, the way he, you know, he's persistent.
- 16:01I think he has better athletic gifts, more athletic.
- 16:03And he's a great basketball player, by the way, much better
- 16:06than Travis Hunter. I I believe Cam Ward football.
- 16:10I'm sorry. You get paid to play football is
- 16:11that is that. What you're going to tell him?
- 16:13Player record. Because there's one.
- 16:14I I would tell you that Campbell.
- 16:16I would, I would. Tell you that Cam Ward had a
- 16:18better season than Travis Hunter.
- 16:19So who was playing football? Based off what though?
- 16:22What do you mean? But remember.
- 16:24Tony Romo was Mr. Indiana in basketball.
- 16:28Tony. But you know, he's Tony Romo.
- 16:31And he also, and he almost made the tournament the US Open.
- 16:34Who cares? Stop making it about his best
- 16:39sports. Is that?
- 16:43The. Fact here is I, I, when I, when
- 16:46I look at athletic gifts and everybody says, well, who's God
- 16:49plays 222 dimensional football? He's a wide receiver and he's a
- 16:54corner. I watched him play both
- 16:56positions. I watched him.
- 16:57He he, he's definitely a better corner than he is a wide
- 16:59receiver. He when he was putting up those
- 17:01numbers, he wasn't putting up those numbers as a wide receiver
- 17:04against elite defenses. Those are the facts.
- 17:07Go look at the teams he was putting up big numbers against
- 17:10in the nation. They weren't good.
- 17:12There weren't. None of them were top 25.
- 17:14None of them. So how we agreed?
- 17:16That he shouldn't have been paying right receiver All right,
- 17:19so. What makes him so athletically
- 17:21gifted? But he's.
- 17:22No, he you have, I mean, he just film.
- 17:25You can't just yeah, you got to look at the ability, the way he
- 17:29locked down players, the way he was reading routes, this
- 17:32athletic bit, the way he was unorthodox in the air and
- 17:35picking the ball off like you. You got to look at different
- 17:37attributes besides what's showing up on the paper.
- 17:42Yeah, he, he, he, he definitely a special athlete, man.
- 17:45Like, I mean, he is, I mean, I, I just, it's hard to get around
- 17:53that. Like, you know, if I was you, I
- 17:55would feel that way too. I don't care if he got the
- 17:58stretchiest hamstrings on the platelet.
- 18:01I listen. That's not why I don't like him.
- 18:03I mean, that's just one of the reasons why I don't like him.
- 18:06Now, now, Lamar Jackson, quarterback wise, is about the
- 18:10only athlete, yeah. Yeah, that, that.
- 18:12Can kind of match Travis Hunter. No disrespect, no.
- 18:16Disrespect. Not at all, but no disrespect.
- 18:20Maybe Lamar. Yeah, maybe Lamar.
- 18:22Run. By Snapple.
- 18:25OK, so athletic athletic score. Hold, hold on, I'm pulling it
- 18:31here. Look his athletic score at the
- 18:33combine. Now Travis Hunters athletic
- 18:35score at the combine was a 7878. You know what Cam Wards athletic
- 18:40number was at the combine? A 90 So you're going to tell me
- 18:43right now that Cam ward is not what metrics?
- 18:46What are you talking? About the Combine rightnfl.com
- 18:49combine. So that's off his position.
- 18:51Thank you. So what quarterback is actually
- 18:54athletic? You only have to worry about
- 18:56your arm. You're not.
- 18:57You're not. It's not going to be hard for
- 18:59him to grade high versus unathletic people.
- 19:04There's. Quarterbacks are unathletic.
- 19:06That's. Not true most.
- 19:08Unathletic, that is. Not most of them.
- 19:11What that's? Not true.
- 19:12Cam Ward is very athletic. He is very athletic.
- 19:15What are you trying to sell me here?
- 19:17He is very athletic. He's a first of all, he plays
- 19:21for the Tennessee Titans. He has no offensive corner.
- 19:23I wonder if Gable is going to. Be the right.
- 19:27We'll see how he develops him, but Cam Ward is he's an
- 19:30athletically gifted player, so to say that he's not
- 19:34athletically gifted, it's ridiculous when you score in 90.
- 19:40Do you want let? Let me bring up Lamar Jackson's
- 19:42athletic numbers when he was in, when he was at the combine.
- 19:46All right, let's let's do that, 'cause you say I'm just saying,
- 19:50wait a second, you, you said he's did.
- 19:53You not say. That, did you not say that?
- 19:56Are you trying to sell? Hold on a second.
- 19:59So his athletic score at the combine was a 75, a 75.
- 20:05Lamar Jackson and Cam Wards was a 90.
- 20:08And you're going to tell me Cam Waters, athletically gifted,
- 20:11Athletically gifted. You're telling me that Cam
- 20:14waters more athletic than the more I'm telling?
- 20:16You I've watched the guy train based off your.
- 20:18Numbers based off your. Numbers.
- 20:20I'm not talking about numbers. I'm not talking about what I've
- 20:24seen. Watch this kid train.
- 20:26I was there. I watched this kid train you to
- 20:30tell me that this guy is not gifted and athletically gifted
- 20:34is. Ridiculous.
- 20:35And you say quarterback Sean, athletically gifted this guy is.
- 20:38And he's just as athletically gifted as Travis Hunter.
- 20:42He absolutely is, Absolutely is. You don't want to sell that.
- 20:45Why? Because he runs routes.
- 20:47You're going to tell me that Cam War can't run routes?
- 20:51Damn Ward right now would tear everything in his body, do a
- 20:53back pedal and corner to shoulder.
- 20:56They play different positions they're playing.
- 20:59Different positions. I'm telling you, they're great.
- 21:04Listen, I can do that. I could do a corner.
- 21:07I can pull. Anything out of my?
- 21:08Athletic in Travis Hunter. Also, I'm not going to tell
- 21:11everything in my body when I do it.
- 21:15What I'm trying? To tell you that's the
- 21:16difference that ain't going to come up on the the the combine
- 21:19scale. Hold on one. 2nd so, So what?
- 21:21So I listen. I could go two against one.
- 21:23It it it doesn't matter to me. I don't need anything.
- 21:26I'll play a. Triangle match OK.
- 21:29Here is the. Facts Here is the facts and I
- 21:32and you can look this up. Cam Ward athletically and the
- 21:36combine has one, has one of the most, one of the highest
- 21:39athletic scores in the last five years of quarterbacks.
- 21:42So to say that Cam Ward is not athletically gifted like Travis
- 21:47Hunter or saying he's just not as athletic as Travis Hunter is
- 21:51ridiculous. It's ridiculous.
- 21:53It's a ridiculous statement. Because if you were to tell me
- 21:56right now, and by the way, Cam Ward is is built like a rock.
- 22:01I mean, this guy, he's got a great he's, you know, great
- 22:04tone, great body, everything. A quarterback size.
- 22:07Yeah, he is a he's, I don't like his cousin.
- 22:10Everybody knows who's a cousin, Speedy.
- 22:12You know, we had his cousin on the show.
- 22:14Yes. Yes, we did.
- 22:16Who did? Who's his?
- 22:16Cousin. Yes.
- 22:18We did Cam ward Cam. Ward.
- 22:21Was it Cam Ward? No.
- 22:22Was it Cam Ward? Kim Ward?
- 22:24No, you're right. No, I don't.
- 22:25Remember, it wasn't it wasn't Cam Ward.
- 22:27His name, his name. He was a Charger.
- 22:31He was a charger. He was a corner.
- 22:33Do you know what? Do you know what I'm talking
- 22:34about? Oh, Quinton Jammer.
- 22:35That's right, Quinton. Jammer now Quinton now Quinton
- 22:39Jammer came on the show you. Have to hear the story.
- 22:41So, Quinton. Jammer came on this show all
- 22:43right. I was very kind and collective
- 22:46and my my PR person Mr. Nathan got us hooked up with him came
- 22:51on the show and I our our our PR guy told him, listen, we don't
- 22:56want you to do an interview on the in the car.
- 22:58Where was he? He was doing an interview in the
- 23:01car. That was strike one.
- 23:03Strike 2 is when I started to conversate with him.
- 23:07He didn't want to answer questions at a full sentence.
- 23:10He was answering what, one or two words?
- 23:14And he wouldn't give me straight answers to the questions.
- 23:17And #3I sat there and I threw a joke at him and I know, listen,
- 23:22I met Antonio Cromartie. I know who he is.
- 23:25I, I know how many kids he has. And I knew that Quinton Jammer
- 23:30was, was, was the godfather of one of his kids.
- 23:33So all I threw at him, this is the truth.
- 23:36All I said is I, I know Aunt Tony Cromartie has like enough
- 23:40kids that could probably build a football team.
- 23:43How many how many kids are you are the godfather of his family?
- 23:48And he went nuts and he completely popped off.
- 23:52He cursed out everybody cursed out, cursed out everybody on the
- 23:56back end, including Nathan. Tell him he's going to kill him.
- 24:00I mean, what? It was a joke.
- 24:02Everybody asked Antonio Cromartie when he comes on their
- 24:05show, how many kids do you have? And he makes a joke about it all
- 24:08the time. And all I did is how many kids
- 24:10are you the godfather of? And.
- 24:13And he looked at me like I had 6 heads.
- 24:16It was a joke. It was a joke.
- 24:18Mr. Jammer. Yeah.
- 24:20Oh yeah, Jammer is. Like the most mild mannered calm
- 24:23guy ever. No, he.
- 24:25Wasn't he didn't show that. When we had him off, he wasn't.
- 24:27He turned into. Kool-aid Jammer and and.
- 24:30I did something even better. I did even.
- 24:32More the Kool-aid German. So I did even something better
- 24:36for him. I wrote a story about him, about
- 24:39the whole interview, and I sent it to him.
- 24:41I had Niffen send him the the the story.
- 24:44And he even went crazier after that.
- 24:47He told me I'm coming to New York in January.
- 24:49Maybe we should meet up. I said, yeah, you can come to,
- 24:52you can come to New York. I could tell you where you live,
- 24:54but I'm not going to be there. But you know, it was, it was
- 25:02funny because listen, I've interviewed a lot of great and,
- 25:06and unique individuals, athletes and interviewed them at a high
- 25:11level. But for some reason some of
- 25:13these guys don't have any personality.
- 25:16They, they just, they don't know how to understand a joke or if
- 25:20it's not from one of their peers, they don't want to hear
- 25:22it. It's not funny if if somebody
- 25:24else said if Darrelle Reeves was talking about how many kids that
- 25:28how many kids that he's, he's the godfather of, he would have
- 25:31laughed at Darrell because it's Darrell Reevis.
- 25:33That's that's why. No, it's Darrell Reevis, but
- 25:36it's it's me. He doesn't want to laugh at
- 25:38that, you know, No, it's something.
- 25:40I mean you. You.
- 25:41Was already heated so you was just poking jabs at him.
- 25:43I was not. Poking any jabs?
- 25:45You want me to poke jabs? You want to see me poke jabs?
- 25:48I can poke a lot of jabs anyways.
- 25:50By the way, ladies and gentlemen, more than one.
- 25:52Word answers that Yeah, I'm. Sure you will.
- 25:54And I'm, I'm learning that very quickly.
- 25:56Ladies and gentlemen, we are talking to former Jaguars,
- 25:58Broncos and Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Minsi.
- 26:01All right, I'm. Going to go to the crazy saga of
- 26:03the offseason, the Max Crosby thing that's happened.
- 26:05Obviously he had a bad relationship with Tom Brady and
- 26:08Alex Guerrero with the Raiders. So obviously addition to that
- 26:11demanding his way out of the of Las Vegas already, he allegedly
- 26:15gets traded to the Ravens and the Ravens shut that down at the
- 26:17last second go after Trey Hendricks and his son.
- 26:20Have you ever seen anything like that with any of the teams that
- 26:22you play with or any of the players that you've been around?
- 26:25No, never. That's.
- 26:30Crazy. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 26:34That is crazy. That's a lot of drama.
- 26:39So whose side? Are you on with all that the
- 26:41players side? Of course, of course players
- 26:45stick with players. That was dirty.
- 26:47That was a dirty play. Yeah, I mean.
- 26:51What else? What else is it more to say
- 26:52about that? It was a dirty play?
- 26:55Well. Flag.
- 26:57On the plate. You know, we got to do no, it's
- 26:59Tom Brady he doesn't get. Penalized.
- 27:01You know what we? Do we we go, we fly over there
- 27:04to Raven Town, we take Eric, we we tape Eric Dacosta up, we
- 27:08throw him in the trunk, we bring him to another football field,
- 27:11tape him to a pole and then we beat him a couple of times and
- 27:15then we leave him there it. Makes sense.
- 27:19Well, Max Crosby. Tackle him, right?
- 27:22Eric Dacosta, by the way, Eric Dacosta was the one everybody
- 27:26keeps blaming ownership on why John Harbaugh was let go.
- 27:30It was Eric Dacosta. Eric Dacosta went to Lamar
- 27:33Jackson. Lamar Jackson did not want to be
- 27:35coached by John Harbaugh anymore and he said get rid of him.
- 27:38That's what he because he didn't want the offensive coordinator
- 27:40to be there anymore. He didn't want John Harbaugh
- 27:42telling him he has to show up the practices when he needed to.
- 27:46Lamar Jackson has become a super.
- 27:49Yeah, he doesn't he. Doesn't care about
- 27:51accountability anymore. If he did, he would have showed
- 27:53up to the games this year. There's no way Lamar Jackson
- 27:56fell off the way he fell off this year.
- 27:58There is no way Lamar Jackson did not want to play for John
- 28:01Harbaugh. I'm sorry, was it be injured?
- 28:05Yeah, but he came. Back and he he he was pretty
- 28:09much like crawling to the finish line You every player is
- 28:12injured. You know this, everybody plays
- 28:14injured. No, not every.
- 28:15Player Every. Player plays injured by the end
- 28:17of the season. Quarterback.
- 28:18Position. Really.
- 28:22Do you want me to go? Do you want me to go back in
- 28:24time with the New York Jets quarterbacks?
- 28:26I could, if you want me to. Every quarterback stays.
- 28:28Healthy, especially The Jets quarterback in 2023.
- 28:30I could go. Through probably a handful of
- 28:32quarterbacks that were never fully healthy at any point of
- 28:36the New York Jets season. And I can name them by name.
- 28:39So to tell me. That was never.
- 28:42Fully healthy. Yeah, they, they also, they
- 28:45never have a good line to protect them.
- 28:47But like there's there's other issues that made it.
- 28:50Well, George. They not good.
- 28:52They were all good at all. Last time we had a good offense.
- 28:56Well, you had you had some good players.
- 28:59Well, you had. You had.
- 29:00You had. Ladainian Tomlson, He was good,
- 29:02was he not? Athlete.
- 29:03I said good offense. That's a good.
- 29:05Athlete, you said a good offensive players, that's a good
- 29:08offensive players, all offense. Not good.
- 29:10Good offensive. Who's the quarterback?
- 29:14Peddington the first. Of all, when Rex Ryan was there,
- 29:18The Jets had pretty good offense.
- 29:20Mark Sanchez. They had pretty good.
- 29:21Offensive lines they did. We had. 1-2 we all had.
- 29:26One good offensive line you had main.
- 29:28Goal. You had Ferguson, they had good
- 29:30players, they had good offensive lines.
- 29:32You. Talk about good players.
- 29:33Everything else is food out there.
- 29:36They're going to. Pile up on the on the fish side
- 29:38on the right. Side we're going to pile.
- 29:40Up on the fish side, I'll put you.
- 29:42Guys in fish, what is this? We're going to pile up on the
- 29:45fish, man. Well, hold on one second.
- 29:48What is? What does this have?
- 29:49Anything to do with food and fish.
- 29:51All right. Seriously, your guys.
- 29:54That's what we. Call the easiest lineman, the
- 29:56one who's trembling, scared the devil.
- 29:58Are you guys trying? To make me throw up.
- 30:00Is that what you're trying to do?
- 30:01There it is. That's a perfect picture.
- 30:04That's a perfect. Picture right there.
- 30:09We're going to eat off the fish man immediately.
- 30:12Well, we're. Lost on that by the way, we are
- 30:14talking to former Jaguars and Broncos Cowboys defensive and
- 30:18Jeremy Mince he's been on a show.
- 30:19So Jeremy, I watch the game religiously.
- 30:22I love football I I love watching all these young kids
- 30:26develop into superstars and some of them fall flat on their face.
- 30:30You look at this year's draft, OK, and a lot of people over the
- 30:35last couple of weeks think that Fernando Mendoza could be a
- 30:38bust, that Ty Simpson could be the best quarterback in this
- 30:41class. And we haven't seen Fernando
- 30:44Mendoza have his pro day. He did not throw at the combine,
- 30:48but we saw Ty Simpson. Ty Simpson threw the ball very,
- 30:51very well, very, very well. And he has good footwork.
- 30:54Lot of people think that this kid could be the steal of the
- 30:57draft. You look at both these
- 31:00quarterbacks and you've seen Fernando Mendoza and you also Ty
- 31:03Simpson only played one season, 1 full season, 15 games.
- 31:07So we haven't seen enough of him.
- 31:08Fernando Mendoza, 2 years of top end football.
- 31:13Do you think that Fernando Mendoza is being pushed to a
- 31:16higher level because he won a national title with Indiana?
- 31:20Yes. Why is that?
- 31:22Yes. I mean, it's not usually when
- 31:26you drive you want to see at least two seasons.
- 31:29One season might not be enough. You know what I mean?
- 31:33Like it, it it that, I mean, it's kind of shaky.
- 31:39Well, one good season. Plus he's older than everybody.
- 31:41Yes. So, you know, one good season
- 31:44from a older guy, he might have muscled up everything he had.
- 31:48And because what happened all the rest of the years, you see
- 31:53what I'm saying? Like, you know, you might have
- 31:56been like like an NFL guy waiting, you know, he on his
- 31:59contract year. You know how this contract year,
- 32:02you're going to eat healthy. You can do, you're going to
- 32:05break every bad habit just to get the way you need to go.
- 32:09And then some guys once they get it, they're no longer hungry.
- 32:12So that's kind of sketchy. They better pay attention to it.
- 32:15Well, hold on one second. Every single time I ask you a
- 32:17question, you're talking about food and fish and being hungry,
- 32:19so you must be really hungry after the show.
- 32:21What are you eating, A hamburger?
- 32:23Where you going? I haven't.
- 32:25Eaten Cute cute Q's most hated meal, ribs.
- 32:40I couldn't. Imagine you two big behemoths
- 32:42eat. I mean, who would win?
- 32:44Who would eat in eating? Who would win in eating contest,
- 32:46you or him? Me.
- 32:53Travis Hunter Athletic versus Ken Ward.
- 33:04Hey, one thing that's a little cute on is his discipline.
- 33:10Man, he got a lot of good discipline.
- 33:12Yeah, well, I got to. Well, you know what?
- 33:14It's, it's funny because me and Q, when, when we were starting
- 33:18to get to know each other, we, we were going back and forth and
- 33:20we said, I think this would be a really, really good show where
- 33:23we can just go back and forth, debate, argue with each other
- 33:26and kill each other throughout the show.
- 33:28And that makes good media. That's what makes good media.
- 33:32And I, I watched the NFL and, and I look at these coaches and
- 33:36all of them are bitches. Every single one of them, they
- 33:38cry, they're, they talk to the media, they cry about that.
- 33:42They're all, they're all cry babies.
- 33:44That's all they are. They, they just cry after, after
- 33:47the game, they can't give you straight answers.
- 33:49And I sit here as a New York Jet fan and after the game, you
- 33:54would ask Aaron Glenn a question and Aaron Glenn would give you a
- 33:57bias answer. And then after that, the next
- 34:01day with media day, when they're asking questions, who's healthy,
- 34:03who's not, he can't give you a straight answer.
- 34:05Why am I going to tell you that? Why should I tell you that?
- 34:07Well, I don't know. You're we're media guys and
- 34:10we're supposed to tell everybody what what's going on with The
- 34:13Jets moving into week 3 or week 4?
- 34:15And, and, and that's the problem with these these these coaches,
- 34:18they make so much money, so much money.
- 34:21They, these coaches are making more money than some of the
- 34:24players and they're guarantees. There it is.
- 34:26Bambi, Sala, I mean, you talk about a deer in a headlights.
- 34:31I mean, he was. Oh God.
- 34:32You're crazy. Yeah, well.
- 34:34That's it's true. I gave him the nickname Bambi
- 34:36Bambi solid because he was a deer in a headlights.
- 34:37The guy didn't know what he was doing, but the fact he what a
- 34:40Jets. Or a general in general.
- 34:43In general, there it is, eating pie.
- 34:51For all you as well, little less.
- 34:56So for so for all. The people so for all the people
- 35:00that are not watching the video and if you're listening to this
- 35:03right now on the audio end at any point tomorrow or the next
- 35:07day they you know fish is posting up pictures like AI
- 35:11pictures of Jeremy Mincey and Mr. Q having an eating contest a
- 35:17pie eating contest with Jeremy. Mr. Mincy is up six to one.
- 35:21OK, that, that's that's and I, I probably believe that I can't
- 35:25see Q eating any kind of cake if he's so healthy and he eats also
- 35:29so healthy. I take.
- 35:31Today I won't eat 6 cakes, but I have a cake.
- 35:33Oh yeah, What's your? Favorite cake?
- 35:35Boutang cake, honey. Buns red velvet.
- 35:39It's occasionally, but my Oh Carrot is my favorite.
- 35:42Carrot. Yeah.
- 35:591st. Of.
- 36:02All new. York food is the best.
- 36:04OK, you're gonna tell me. Oh.
- 36:05God, oh God, food is the. Best we was just.
- 36:09Debating this with some New Yorkers.
- 36:14No, nobody go to New York for hospitality.
- 36:17I'm not saying. Hospitality.
- 36:19But when it comes to the food, no.
- 36:21No, no, Quentin, somebody is going there for hospitality.
- 36:24Quentin, somebody. Out there is going for
- 36:25hospitality. Just Quentin Jammer will be
- 36:27alone in the house. Shipping on a Kool-aid jammer
- 36:31that's. Right, a Kool-aid.
- 36:33Jammer. There's not a what do you guys
- 36:36go for pizza? Get out of here.
- 36:39We're known for a lot more than that.
- 36:40Our steakhouse is spaghetti. Spaghetti our steakhouses.
- 36:43Are great here. Yeah, our seafood.
- 36:46Is good. Steak is amazing.
- 36:48Our seafood. Is good here.
- 36:50Our seafood. Seafood good.
- 36:53Yeah, we got a lot of things good here.
- 36:55Quit realism. I think Florida seafood's
- 36:58better. QQ What are you trying to rob
- 37:03this from us? Are you trying to steal?
- 37:05Is that what you're trying to do?
- 37:06I'm. Just.
- 37:08Taking no. Comparison.
- 37:09Certain stuff that you shouldn't say, well, you shouldn't say
- 37:11stuff like that's the best. I say a lot.
- 37:13Of things that I shouldn't say, but I say it anyways, yeah.
- 37:17Yeah, yeah, he's. Going to do it anyways I will do
- 37:20it. Anyways, and I like strong.
- 37:22I'm more. Of a cheesecake fan.
- 37:24A New York cheesecake. I like Strawberry Shortcake.
- 37:29Love that. I love my strawberries.
- 37:30Love that banana cake. I like banana lemon.
- 37:34Cake. I like lemon.
- 37:35Cake like lemon cake. Yeah, look at Q.
- 37:36He's making all, he's looking, all these things.
- 37:39Yeah, Red velvet. Red Velvet.
- 37:41That's a girl's cake, by the way.
- 37:45Red velvet snapping. Bro, you got to stop that.
- 37:50You got to stop right there. You don't know what?
- 37:52He don't know. He don't know what he don't
- 37:54know. Well, first of all, red velvet.
- 37:56I don't know. I love red velvet cake.
- 37:58But it's a girl's cake. That's that's what girls say.
- 38:01Oh, I like red velvet. Red velvet is.
- 38:04No, it's a unisex cake. It's a unisex.
- 38:09You tell that. Fall, you tell that to a.
- 38:11Woman. I don't know this age cute.
- 38:16They might call us sassy on the red Velvet ladies and.
- 38:23Gentlemen, we're jerking. We're jerking.
- 38:28Don't reveal what. Difference we're talking.
- 38:33Are those Mint spies? Those are Mint spies.
- 38:47We're talking to former Jaguars, Broncos and Cowboys defensive
- 38:50end Jeremy. Oh, man.
- 38:56Anyways, to finish up part this interview I want to get into
- 39:00this year and there are a lot of teams that made some
- 39:03acquisitions and made their teams better.
- 39:06We just talked about the Buffalo Bills, the Broncos and some
- 39:09other teams. You're you're looking at two
- 39:11teams that there were a lot of questions in the Super Bowl this
- 39:14year. The the New England Patriots had
- 39:16had one of the easiest schedules in in NFL history.
- 39:19And the Seattle Seahawks, nobody thought they were going to be
- 39:22there. They had a sensational year.
- 39:24They had one of the best defenses.
- 39:25They had one of the best running games duo in in the league,
- 39:28which by the way, one of them is gone now playing for Kansas City
- 39:32and they lost some good defensive pieces in the
- 39:34offseason as well. Do you see these two teams in
- 39:37the Super Bowl again once again or where do you see where do you
- 39:40see in a new year in 2026 where the Super Bowl could be?
- 39:46As far as some of the other teams that have made some of the
- 39:48acquisitions in the offseason, including the Rams, who I think
- 39:51are as dangerous as any team in football, I don't see.
- 39:54Seattle going back, I mean, that was just one of those magical
- 39:57years, kind of like. What was my man that played with
- 40:02Baltimore back in the days, Trent Dilfer And you know, that
- 40:08was one of those things, you know, and New England just
- 40:12didn't have enough anyway. So they can I think Mike Vapor
- 40:15going to find a way to, you know, he's a very, very, very
- 40:19sharp guy. He he he's very creative.
- 40:21You know how to find a way to find a way.
- 40:25You know, he was like one of my mentors back in the day when I
- 40:28got drafted to the Patriots. And I mean, he has a winter
- 40:31mentality, man. He's going to find a way to do
- 40:33something well you mentioned. Trent Zilfer.
- 40:35How about Rex Grossman? Remember him?
- 40:38Uh huh. Yeah, same thing.
- 40:40How about Brad? Johnson, remember him?
- 40:42Yeah, Yeah. Jeremy, it's funny, I remember
- 40:47the first time you were on the show.
- 40:48I remember you called it like the Patriots boot camp or
- 40:50something like that, that. Year that place was a
- 40:53concentration camp, man all. Right, what's going?
- 40:57On I was like, I don't think I want to play football longer.
- 41:02Don't worry. You've got a future in
- 41:04competitive eating with the pie eating contests.
- 41:08Come on, man. Well, dude.
- 41:11How about this? Who do you think would win in a
- 41:13pie eating contest? You were Vince Wilfork.
- 41:17Will fork. That's why.
- 41:20That's why the last four letters is the name fork.
- 41:27That's my. Brother super athlete.
- 41:36He's the most athletic big guy ever since.
- 41:39Crazy, crazy. And the second was Grady
- 41:44Jackson. Yeah, yeah.
- 41:46There was some. Big athletic humans, man.
- 41:48Crazy. Out of this world, Yeah.
- 41:51Interesting. They look they.
- 41:52Look like eggs with legs. You and me, you know, every
- 42:00single take you had tonight was something to do with food.
- 42:03I mean hungry fish eggs with legs, I mean.
- 42:10There's some Grady eggs with legs.
- 42:12Grady, Jackson Grady. Grady Jackson.
- 42:14Eats the eggs and Jabba sucks on the eggs.
- 42:16That's true. I mean, well, he sucks on corn
- 42:18too. I mean, they're the Cornhuskers.
- 42:20I mean Huskers only as you you would say Jabba like to suck on
- 42:24eggs. Jabba.
- 42:25Danny likes to suck on feet, that's true.
- 42:30And Sean Smith likes the Shake Shack.
- 42:32Oh. Well, Sean likes to do other
- 42:33things. He's smoking weed in his car.
- 42:36Anyways, Jeremy, we love you, man.
- 42:39Keep up the good work. By the way, how's your how's
- 42:41your how's your show doing on YouTube?
- 42:44Oh good. Man, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:47I ain't really been focused on that though, you know, I'm, I'm
- 42:49coaching right now, in high school right now for Grace and
- 42:51High. Oh yeah?
- 42:52How's that? How's that going?
- 42:54One of the nationally ranked schools.
- 42:57I mean, I'm a community coach, so I'm just helping out, you
- 42:59know, with schemes and stuff. Not there for money, just to
- 43:02help the kids out and, you know, things of that nature.
- 43:06It's good to be around a great program like that.
- 43:08A lot of connections, man. I mean, my first week shoot,
- 43:12there's so many Division One schools there and so it, you
- 43:17know, it's just an amazing place to help the kids out and show
- 43:21them, you know, stay humble along this journey.
- 43:23You can too. Make it our house.
- 43:25Program for sure, Definitely. And my daughters go to Beaufort,
- 43:30OK. Yeah.
- 43:31So that's the two. Top schools in the nation they
- 43:34loaded. With money, yeah.
- 43:36They're also. They're also loaded.
- 43:39With pie I'm. Going.
- 43:44To eat it anyway. All right, quickly.
- 43:53Quickly I. Give you 5 minutes to eat apple
- 43:56pie. How many pies could you eat?
- 43:585 minutes. That's two 5 minutes, that's
- 44:00two. That's that'll take me.
- 44:02Five days, man, that's too much sugar, man.
- 44:06I got to slice that thing one pot, one slice at a time, buddy.
- 44:09And five. Minutes.
- 44:11I get about four slices tops. Yeah, that body.
- 44:15You can't. You can't take that.
- 44:17No, it's too. Sugary too much too.
- 44:19Much going on? Oh, out of there.
- 44:22Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy, you. I can.
- 44:24Eat about 3-4 steaks, yeah. How big?
- 44:27It's 5 minutes. I can eat, man.
- 44:30Listen, I can eat hibachi style. Nah, I'm gonna eat it.
- 44:35I'm just taking off the plate. You eat it, man.
- 44:37So I. Ate a box of cereal, 4 steaks.
- 44:40And. I can eat 4 steaks in 5 minutes,
- 44:44probably 5 minutes. So so.
- 44:46Funny thing is, is I ate a box of cereal in 5 minutes.
- 44:50I took. A big bowl and I poured the
- 44:53whole cereal from the from the beginning and I I ate it in 5
- 44:58minutes. Could you guys eat a bowl of
- 45:00cereal? A big bowl of cereal from one
- 45:02box in 5 minutes. Yeah, that's easy.
- 45:05No, I couldn't. That's too much.
- 45:11Crunching cereal. Good.
- 45:14Yeah. What cereal are we talking
- 45:17about? Captain Crunch?
- 45:19Froot Loops. Whatever you want, Captain
- 45:21Crunch. Is that's crazy.
- 45:22But yeah, cinnamon toast, all right?
- 45:25Listen, you want to have a? We're just going to.
- 45:28Drink them all, you going to let them get soggy and just drink
- 45:38them all now? By the time he waits for that,
- 45:41I'll be done with my bowl. Dude, I.
- 45:46Can eat a bowl of cereal. Really.
- 45:48I can't boil. Yeah, like he's like this.
- 45:50It's going to get soggy. I can't do that, dude.
- 45:52I can. Eat how you How you.
- 45:53Eat how else you eat it so. You know what I do is I don't
- 45:57really chew it. I just like I2 chews and I
- 46:01swallow. I could go through it, man.
- 46:03Dude, I can eat a bowl of cereal.
- 46:05I can eat a bowl of cereal quicker than anybody on this
- 46:07show. I promise you.
- 46:08I can beat anybody about eating any cereal you eat, any cereal
- 46:12you eat that much. Cereal I know that the the other
- 46:15bowl. I grew up when you yell.
- 46:16I know I. Don't eat cereal all the time,
- 46:19but when I do I can swallow a bowl of cereal pretty quick.
- 46:24You're just going to regurgitate it right into the toilet bowl?
- 46:27Well, you're damn right. I don't.
- 46:29It's pretty quick that. Milk just comes right out man it
- 46:32just from one bowl. To another bowl.
- 46:34I'm sure you'll do it. Yeah.
- 46:37Now. You have it.
- 46:38You are. Jeremy, we love you, man.
- 46:41Keep up the good work. Let's talk soon.
- 46:44You do such a great job. You have a great personality.
- 46:46I love what you're doing right now on and off the field.
- 46:49And I didn't know you were coaching.
- 46:50Congratulations. Keep up the good work my friend.
- 46:53Yeah, let's go, let's get it. Thank y'all for having me back.
- 46:58We're lucky. Yes, Sir.
- 47:00Appreciate you the 1:00 we call. Mr. Mincey, ladies and
- 47:03gentlemen, sensational, Played for the Jaguars, the Broncos,
- 47:07the Cowboys. Defensive end, great
- 47:09personality. He loves his cake.
- 47:11He loves his cake. I love my cake, too.
- 47:13I don't know if I eat cake like that.
- 47:15I don't know if I'll eat it in a cake contest.
- 47:16But I like my cake. I do.
- 47:18I like my cake. I I, you know what my favorite
- 47:21cake is? The Entenmann's chocolate cake.
- 47:24Have you ever had that? You know what the the really
- 47:26like? Soft frosting on the top, I can
- 47:28eat. That whole cake in one serving.
- 47:31I love it. I can eat.
- 47:35It. The.
- 47:35Chocolate inside or the the yellow inside?
- 47:38No, no, no. No.
- 47:42No that, no, no chocolate inside.
- 47:44It's it's just plain old, the yellow.
- 47:46Cake. No, no, it it's just.
- 47:48Chocolate on the top. You know what the the rivets.
- 47:50You know what I mean? Yes, I know, but.
- 47:52When do you eat the cake? Is it a chocolate cake or a
- 47:54sponge cake? Or is it a a yellow sponge cake?
- 47:57No, no, they have. 2 chocolate cakes It's chocolate.
- 48:00Yeah, the. Chocolate chocolate one is the
- 48:01way to golf with dentiments. That was my favorite cake as a
- 48:04kid my my grandparents took me to.
- 48:08Factory. In Long Island.
- 48:10We we because that this. Is a real Jewish Long Island
- 48:14stuff here? We're talking about it, Long
- 48:17Island. But that is a that is a prime
- 48:20time cake. Except now I ate it as an adult
- 48:23and I haven't had it very often as an adult.
- 48:26That chocolate doesn't hit the same.
- 48:27Bro. It's not that good.
- 48:28I'm so mad. Yeah.
- 48:30Well, it always, it always tastes the same for me.
- 48:37I love my chocolate in every kind of way, if you know what I
- 48:39mean. You had some interesting takes
- 48:45on cereal, I thought in that last segment.
- 48:47Well, thank you. You know, I'd like my food too.
- 48:50I'm not. There it is.
- 48:58Figures. Figures.
- 49:00You would do something like that, smart ass.
- 49:02Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, we call this call your shot.
- 49:06I'm not an X's and O's guy, right?
- 49:08I'm not a tactician. I'm a motivator in the classic
- 49:11sense of the word. You know Lombardi, Charles
- 49:13Lindbergh, that nun over in India like those people call.
- 49:17Your shot. Now I look a little too big in
- 49:20that picture. You always get mad when I make
- 49:25you not muscular and then that you're mad when I I.
- 49:29Mean look at my arms, they're twice the size of Q's.
- 49:34Right. Which is crazy.
- 49:35This is. Reception fish you should.
- 49:38Update the graphic Give Errol a honey mustard dipping sauce to
- 49:41give Q some cake. To be fair, the first one that I
- 49:44made, it made everyone really fat.
- 49:47Like everyone was really fat. Anyway, this way, here it is.
- 49:52We're back and it's call your shot, Errol, Why?
- 49:56Don't you tell everybody what We're all right so.
- 49:57Ladies and gentlemen, if you don't know how to play this
- 49:59game, it's a very easy game. We're going to give a particular
- 50:03thing that could happen in sports or anything.
- 50:06We're going to tell you why we think that particular story is
- 50:11going to happen. It could happen now, it could
- 50:13happen 2 years from now, but we believe it's going to happen.
- 50:16And then we're going to tell you why we believe it's going to
- 50:19happen. So tonight we're going to go
- 50:21first Speedy Fish. Queue me.
- 50:25Here we go. All right, so.
- 50:27Since I had bad luck in the men in the men's bracket, I'm going
- 50:30to take a shot with the women, even though I was actually
- 50:32partially right on my floor to upset pick.
- 50:34I just had the wrong team. But I'm going on the women's
- 50:36side. I'm going to say UConn is
- 50:37undefeated right now. They've only lost one game by
- 50:39double digits. They're going to pull off a 2007
- 50:42Patriots and they will lose in the national championship game.
- 50:45The one I have him losing to is Texas A-Team.
- 50:47That's been very good for a while.
- 50:48Just stuck behind South Carolina in the SEC led by Madison Booker
- 50:51or UCLA with Lauren Betts to another hot commodity team on
- 50:56the women's side. So I think one of them I'm just
- 50:58lean more towards Texas beats UConn in the finals.
- 51:02Interesting, interesting, Speedy.
- 51:04All right, I'm going to go to the NBA and stay away from
- 51:09college for a little bit. I got a real strong feeling.
- 51:15I know what's going to happen in this in the NBA draft.
- 51:18And it doesn't matter if they get the first pick, second pick
- 51:21or third pick, but the Indiana Pacers, I love Lisa.
- 51:24Ann. Are going to.
- 51:26Pair. Mr. Boozer with Mr. Halliburton
- 51:32and terrorize the Eastern Conference for the next bunch of
- 51:35years. Whether they have to trade other
- 51:36assets to make it happen. If they don't, if they get
- 51:39screwed out of that pick, if they win too many games,
- 51:41probably not going to happen. But I think that's the move.
- 51:44I think they're going to be able to get it.
- 51:46I think there's enough depth that you can trade up in this
- 51:49draft for to a spot like #3 and get a premier talent like Boozer
- 51:54and put him with the best possible guy you could put him
- 51:57with, a guy that sets him up cutting to the basket with
- 52:01Halliburton I. Need to blow up?
- 52:04Lately, I'm going to the NBA and I think that the Atlanta house
- 52:10are going to make a deep run for the Eastern Conference
- 52:14Championship. Wow, this year I think.
- 52:18They're going to sneak in. I think you're.
- 52:19Drinking either, they're going. To be right there close to it or
- 52:22they're going to make the champion he's they're going to
- 52:24fight the conference championship, all right, I mean
- 52:26they. Got a?
- 52:26Chance, I guess, right? Don't they come?
- 52:30On Well, my prediction of the night is pretty much the IT
- 52:34would be the second round of the NBA playoffs, where the Celtics
- 52:38would meet the New York Knicks. Once again.
- 52:41That's easy. Work.
- 52:43And once again, the New York Knicks will beat the Celtics in
- 52:48the second round, four games to three to eliminate the Celtics
- 52:54and say sayonara to Jayson Tatum and those Celtic boys.
- 52:58So my prediction is if the Knicks meet the Celtics in the
- 53:03second round of the NBA playoffs, for right now, that's
- 53:06what would happen because they're they're two and three,
- 53:09no matter if the Knicks are second or the the Celtics are
- 53:12are third. Whoever, however, ends at the
- 53:15end of the season, I believe the New York Knicks will beat the
- 53:17Celtics again four games to three this coming season.
- 53:23So we're not going. Stem against what you guys?
- 53:25Oh, I believe. It I believe it, that's
- 53:26terrible. Take.
- 53:28I think it might. Only take 6 like last time.
- 53:34And we know where fish is going with that.
- 53:37I think the Knicks are even better than they were last year
- 53:39and the Celtics aren't as good. That's how I see the Celtics
- 53:41aren't. As good they're not, no.
- 53:43They're not. I don't think they.
- 53:44Are dude I watched. The game I watched, the game you
- 53:49think Tatum is going to be. Able to give them what they he
- 53:51gave them last year before he got hurt giving them. 20 in the
- 53:54last five games and 60% he only can get the better atom against.
- 53:58Wasn't they had 100% Tatum for three games and that wasn't
- 54:01enough? That was called. 60%
- 54:03championship hangover. That's.
- 54:06What? That is Championship Hangover.
- 54:09What about torn Achilles less than a year ago?
- 54:12Hangover. No, that has nothing to do
- 54:15anything. He's proved that that's not
- 54:17going to be a factor. I hope you're right.
- 54:20I would see I. Love Jason Tatum, but I'm going
- 54:23to tell you right now, Jason Tatum is not going to be the
- 54:25same player he was last year and he wasn't any good in the
- 54:28playoffs last year. He shouldn't be this.
- 54:29Year, it's the late of the season.
- 54:30He should not be the same player.
- 54:32We don't need him to be the same, really.
- 54:34So you're going to tell me you're going to win?
- 54:36So you're telling me right now with just Jaylen Brown and
- 54:39White, you're going to beat the New York and Pritchard?
- 54:42And Katie Pritchard is. A is a six or seven man.
- 54:46Stop. Stop.
- 54:47What are you trying to sell us? What you.
- 54:49Call it a comeback that just got hurt Center, there is no.
- 54:53Way the Celtics roster in A7 game series is better than the
- 54:56Knicks, I'm telling you right now.
- 54:58And if that's what you're, if that's what you're trying to
- 55:00sell us, then my friend, you're, you're up for a root of an
- 55:05equal. It's it's proven.
- 55:07Proven to what? What did you prove?
- 55:09Only been last year? It's the only time you've been
- 55:11able to talk was last year. The Knicks have.
- 55:12Played how many times against the the Boston Boston Celtics
- 55:16this year? I think they're two and O
- 55:17against the Celtics, I think they're two and oh, this is
- 55:19something. Yeah, this year I think they're
- 55:21two and oh, maybe I don't. Know we take games off and we
- 55:24play. Oh yeah.
- 55:25That's what it is. That's why, after the Knicks
- 55:27beat him last time, Jaylen Brown had a team meeting, right?
- 55:31Right. Yeah, Didn't he?
- 55:33Didn't he do that? Why?
- 55:35Why do you? Think he did that?
- 55:36That's the reason we can't take games.
- 55:38Oh, stop. Stop, we got to.
- 55:40We got to play each and every game.
- 55:41That's what we got to do. You know we.
- 55:43Just have. Solutions for that lineup of
- 55:45yours, Celtics? Celtics beat them through the
- 55:46best wing. Defenders in the league,
- 55:48Celtics. Won one game in December 120
- 55:51three 117 The Knicks 10595 early in the season.
- 55:54The Knicks blowout 11189 recently, 2:00 and 1:00.
- 55:57Against the Celtics and they'd have one more game left at the
- 55:59end of the season. Are you gonna win?
- 56:01That one, the Knicks. I would.
- 56:02Imagine very few people are going to play in that one.
- 56:05It's going to be the end of the regular season.
- 56:07Well, it depends. On big days.
- 56:09Well, it. Well, it depends.
- 56:11On big days, definitely. When we.
- 56:13Play y'all. So I mean, we're our bitch.
- 56:15I like our bitch better. Hold on one second.
- 56:16Who is we? No, who is we?
- 56:19You keep saying we. Are you a part of the
- 56:22organization? Do you work for the team?
- 56:25Yeah, really actually good in the.
- 56:27Garden, I've been good out there, been like you're a
- 56:29security. Guard.
- 56:30Is that what you are? You're protecting, But you were.
- 56:32Undercover when I when I was in the undercover when I was in the
- 56:37in the restaurant, in the arena there he's an.
- 56:39Undercover towel bar. It all makes sense.
- 56:45They don't be very well. If possible, let's just I'm
- 56:47sure. They do.
- 56:48I'm sure they do. Thank you to all the fans that

- 57:34personality to the show and obviously arguing and debating
- 57:38and pissing me off, which he's done quite a few times.
- 57:41He's taken on the Mikey. C role very well so far, you
- 57:43know. You know somebody needs Do you
- 57:46want to jerk? Me off or something of.
- 57:48That magnitude, hopefully they stay away from that or a lot of

- 58:04But our friend Dan Purcell will be back on, president of Scout
- 58:07Central and a former Pelicans executive.
- 58:08He'll be coming on at 8:30. This guy.
- 58:10Knows everything about the talent that's coming out of this
- 58:14year's draft class. As a matter of fact, four years
- 58:17ago he came on the show and he told us about this draft class
- 58:20and he told us watch out for 2026 and 2027 on the talent
- 58:25that's coming out. And he said 2026 is the best
- 58:28class since LeBron James's class.
- 58:31So. And I would love to hear his
- 58:33take on Cambuser Peterson and the Beza and where he thinks
- 58:38these guys are going to fall and who does he think is going to be
- 58:43the better player in the NBA. So very interesting.
- 58:47It'll be fun to get into that conversation with him on
- 58:51Thursday. Well, we've got three days
- 58:54before Thursday, or actually 2, and we got a lot of news, ladies
- 58:58and gentlemen, and a lot more to get into.
- 59:00And we have the Sweet 16 starting Thursday.

- 59:07top of the board because Quinton Coppola is going to dip and I
- 59:11will rise, I told him before. It happened, man.

- 59:29with well, actually it's all luck.
- 59:31But you're right. Good luck to me, even though I
- 59:33don't believe in luck, I believe in butt plug.
