- 0:01Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show on 710WOR.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, hey, it's the third and final hour.
- 0:10Speaker 1: That's right.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We start at 9 o'clock every morning now. It's 9
- 0:13Speaker 2: to noon. It's a three-hour show every day. So UN
- 0:19Speaker 2: Gridlock Week is here. This goes on for a few weeks,
- 0:23Speaker 2: but this is the week where all the world leaders
- 0:25Speaker 2: come in. So all the world leaders are here today.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You're going to see gridlock everywhere because of this UN
- 0:33Speaker 2: General Assembly. And by the way, if you're trying to
- 0:34Speaker 2: get a hooker, you will not be able to get
- 0:36Speaker 2: a hooker today. They are all tied up all week.
- 0:40Speaker 2: You will not be able to get a hooker. And
- 0:42Speaker 2: this is not a joke. Call girls, prostitutes, hookers, escorts
- 0:49Speaker 2: have come in from all over the world. This is
- 0:52Speaker 2: the biggest week of the year for them. They are
- 0:56Speaker 2: all in New York right now. But if you're a
- 0:58Speaker 2: local and you go to Hooker's all the time, you
- 1:00Speaker 2: will not be able to get one this week. I'm sorry.
- 1:03Speaker 2: They're tied up with these UN General Assembly idiots. The
- 1:08Speaker 2: agenda is always climate change, world this, world that. They've
- 1:13Speaker 2: added AI to it this week. In fact, Sam Altman, OpenAI,
- 1:18Speaker 2: he will speak there this week. This whole thing about
- 1:21Speaker 2: this whole scheme about... AI is going to kill us all.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It has a number of components to it. It was
- 1:30Speaker 2: all carefully thought out. Obama has been the one behind
- 1:33Speaker 2: the scenes carefully orchestrating this. It has a number of purposes.
- 1:38Speaker 2: One is to use as an election issue. Climate change
- 1:44Speaker 2: is not working anymore. It doesn't work as an election issue.
- 1:46Speaker 2: It doesn't scare anybody anymore because they've been hearing this
- 1:49Speaker 2: for 30 years and nothing has happened. So it doesn't
- 1:51Speaker 2: scare anybody. So This is the new climate change. They're
- 1:55Speaker 2: going to use AI. It's an old democratic technique. They
- 1:58Speaker 2: always have some huge boogeyman that you have to be
- 2:01Speaker 2: terrified of, and only they can save you from it.
- 2:04Speaker 2: The Republicans will not save you from it. So this
- 2:06Speaker 2: is the new boogeyman. The AI is going to kill
- 2:09Speaker 2: us all. The other thing is the cartel, it's four
- 2:13Speaker 2: big AI companies. They're basically a cartel. They would like
- 2:16Speaker 2: to get all this government regulation and red tape because
- 2:19Speaker 2: they currently control the whole thing. The government regulation of
- 2:23Speaker 2: red tape will keep any newcomers out. This is their
- 2:26Speaker 2: big fear. New companies can come and rise up and
- 2:29Speaker 2: suddenly take over. And they've seen it before in the
- 2:32Speaker 2: tech world. Nobody could come near MySpace. And then Facebook
- 2:37Speaker 2: came and took all their business away. And something like
- 2:42Speaker 2: a TikTok, somebody could just come in and rise up.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So they want the government red tape and bureaucracy to keep,
- 2:47Speaker 2: to basically build a moat. around their cartel so nobody
- 2:51Speaker 2: else can come in. That's another one. There's a whole
- 2:55Speaker 2: bunch of reasons they want this. But the UN wants
- 2:59Speaker 2: in on it, too, because the other thing, this cartel,
- 3:02Speaker 2: these AI companies, the cartel has a trillion dollars to
- 3:05Speaker 2: throw around. They've already passed out $ 40 million to congressmen,
- 3:09Speaker 2: $ 40 million in just the last week or two, and
- 3:13Speaker 2: there's more of that coming. The UN would like some
- 3:15Speaker 2: of this action. And they'd also like to pretend they're
- 3:18Speaker 2: going to be the regulators of AI all over the world. Now,
- 3:21Speaker 2: of course, the UN can't regulate anything. They're totally useless.
- 3:25Speaker 2: They have never been able to accomplish anything anywhere. It's
- 3:29Speaker 2: basically just a VIP lounge for dictators over there on
- 3:33Speaker 2: the east side. A lot of people talking about getting
- 3:38Speaker 2: rid of the UN, throwing it the hell out of
- 3:40Speaker 2: New York. The mayoral candidate, Michael Rappaport, saying James Dolan
- 3:45Speaker 2: should take over UN headquarters, make it into a practice
- 3:47Speaker 2: facility for the nicks and the rangers or whoever so
- 3:53Speaker 2: uh the president uh you know banned ms now cnn
- 3:59Speaker 2: politico very very left-wing slanted organizations i don't know if
- 4:03Speaker 2: you really call them news organizations they're just bash trump
- 4:07Speaker 2: organizations although politico does actually report news a lot of
- 4:11Speaker 2: political news cnn ms now basically just uh political activists
- 4:15Speaker 2: so But they're going to court. They have announced they
- 4:19Speaker 2: will sue. Now, the problem is the president's team could
- 4:26Speaker 2: go into court and argue that they can't be called
- 4:30Speaker 2: news organizations because they have broadcast so much fake news.
- 4:35Speaker 2: And I was reading a list before. There's a million
- 4:37Speaker 2: things I never got to on this list where they
- 4:40Speaker 2: just lied and they got caught a million times. lying
- 4:45Speaker 2: fake news. Nobody's been caught more than Rachel Maddow with
- 4:48Speaker 2: fake news. And it'll be interesting to see, uh, what
- 4:54Speaker 2: comes out in court. They could really document how much
- 4:56Speaker 2: fake news these people broadcast. Just go story by story.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You could list hundreds of stories that turned out to
- 5:01Speaker 2: be fake. You could list hundreds of stories. They refused
- 5:05Speaker 2: to air major news stories because it was too favorable
- 5:09Speaker 2: to the president. Uh, Well, I think he's talking about here.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I don't want him in my office. I don't want
- 5:17Speaker 1: him here. I would say the ban would go as
- 5:19Speaker 1: far as you can. And if they could straighten themselves out,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you know, if they could straighten themselves out, I'd love it. Look,
- 5:26Speaker 1: they're very dishonest people.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the argument is he would let him
- 5:30Speaker 2: in the White House. Doesn't mean he has to let
- 5:31Speaker 2: him in the Oval Office.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Politico and MS Now, which nobody ever heard of. and CNN,
- 5:39Speaker 1: which is doing very poorly. The reason they do so
- 5:41Speaker 1: poorly is because they have no credibility. And if they
- 5:44Speaker 1: had credibility, I wouldn't be sitting here right now. So
- 5:47Speaker 1: we are banning them.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yes, we are. Yeah. Now, Biden wanted to do this
- 5:52Speaker 2: with Fox. Obama tried to do it with Fox. They
- 5:54Speaker 2: didn't have the nerve to stick to their guns, but
- 5:56Speaker 2: we'll see what happens here. But Trump has made a
- 5:58Speaker 2: lot of money from all this lying. They've had to
- 6:01Speaker 2: pay Trump money because they lied about him, these organizations.
- 6:03Speaker 1: ABC Fake News gave me $ 16 million that was agreed to,
- 6:09Speaker 1: $ 16 million that I won from ABC News because George
- 6:13Speaker 1: Slapadopoulos wrote incorrect stuff. CBS gave me $ 38 million because
- 6:19Speaker 1: they broadcast Kamala Harris on 60 Minutes and the question
- 6:24Speaker 1: borrowed no relationship to what she said. You saw that.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah. So, and the reason they paid the money, they
- 6:31Speaker 2: wouldn't have survived in court. They wouldn't have been able
- 6:33Speaker 2: to get through a trial. Hey, also remember, uh, President
- 6:37Speaker 2: Trump was banned from all social media. Twitter banned him.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Instagram banned him. They banned him. They took away his accounts.
- 6:45Speaker 2: They totally banned him from social media. That's just, I mean,
- 6:51Speaker 2: that's worse than this. I mean, the fact that they
- 6:53Speaker 2: can't come in the White House doesn't mean they can't
- 6:55Speaker 2: cover this. They still are on the air. They can
- 6:58Speaker 2: say whatever they want. You don't need to be in
- 7:00Speaker 2: the White House to cover it. We're not in the
- 7:02Speaker 2: White House. We cover it just fine. But to be
- 7:06Speaker 2: banned from all social media, to take your platform away,
- 7:09Speaker 2: that's much worse. Hey, there's a new book by Victor
- 7:13Speaker 2: Davis Hanson, the great writer, about Trump, how he was
- 7:18Speaker 2: totally wiped out and made the comeback to the White House.
- 7:23Speaker 2: It's a fabulous book. It's now number one on the
- 7:26Speaker 2: New York Times bestseller list. Just look it up, the
- 7:29Speaker 2: new Victor Davis Hanson book. Really an amazing book. And
- 7:34Speaker 2: it starts... With where he went, it's called, let me
- 7:38Speaker 2: just get the book cover here, The Counter-Revolution. The Counter-Revolution,
- 7:42Speaker 2: how he battled his way back. Now, it starts with Trump.
- 7:47Speaker 2: People forget he had just been banned from all social media.
- 7:52Speaker 2: He had no platform, absolutely no way to reach out
- 7:56Speaker 2: to people online. He was banned from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
- 7:59Speaker 2: totally banned. He was debanked. All the banks banned him,
- 8:05Speaker 2: closed his accounts, which means he couldn't even write a check.
- 8:09Speaker 2: He was suddenly indicted in five separate criminal trials. They
- 8:12Speaker 2: were going to put him in jail. You couldn't be
- 8:16Speaker 2: in a worse situation. The guy never flinched, never blinked,
- 8:20Speaker 2: slowly but surely battled his way back and won the
- 8:24Speaker 2: White House. It's a great book by Victor Davis Hanson.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Everybody should read it. Just get the book. It's already
- 8:32Speaker 2: number one. New York Times bestseller, this great book. Just
- 8:35Speaker 2: get the book. Now, what's going to happen with the midterms?
- 8:39Speaker 2: We'll get to that a little later this hour. We'll
- 8:40Speaker 2: have the greatest and single best pollster in the world on.
- 8:44Speaker 2: We'll go over the numbers, what's going to happen in
- 8:46Speaker 2: the midterms. Hey, Bruce Blakeman, this is an interesting interview
- 8:51Speaker 2: where he talks about his ex-wife, Nancy Chavelle, who was
- 8:57Speaker 2: a very nice woman. I know her very well, knew
- 8:59Speaker 2: her father very well. Bruce Blakeman's first wife. They got divorced.
- 9:04Speaker 2: This happens all the time. People get divorced. It happens
- 9:07Speaker 2: in most marriages. Bruce Blakeman went on to marry a
- 9:13Speaker 2: wonderful woman who's a very prominent judge in Long Island.
- 9:16Speaker 2: They were very happily married. And then his ex-wife, Nancy,
- 9:21Speaker 2: went on to marry Paul McCartney. So Blakeman was asked
- 9:24Speaker 2: about this. What is it like to have your ex
- 9:27Speaker 2: marry a Beatle and the Beatle And he said, it's
- 9:32Speaker 2: kind of surreal. It's really surreal. Blakeman, very complimentary about McCartney,
- 9:38Speaker 2: said he's been a wonderful father to their son. He's
- 9:42Speaker 2: been great with their son. He's been a very nice guy.
- 9:45Speaker 2: He goes, our politics, obviously, we don't agree politically, but
- 9:48Speaker 2: we don't talk about politics. And they get along very well.
- 9:53Speaker 2: That's why I keep telling you, don't talk about politics
- 9:56Speaker 2: with anybody ever. There's no reason to. Now, look at
- 10:02Speaker 2: this game last night. The Jets play in the Packers.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I really enjoy watching that. Do I have to discuss
- 10:08Speaker 2: it with anybody? No. You go into a bar, I
- 10:12Speaker 2: think the Packers, I think the Jets, well, I think
- 10:14Speaker 2: the Packers. You don't need to hear any of this.
- 10:16Speaker 2: You don't need to hear any of this. You want
- 10:19Speaker 2: to hear about it? Go get an expert. Go listen
- 10:21Speaker 2: to that Mike Francesa podcast or something. Whoever you trust
- 10:24Speaker 2: is a great sports analyst. Go listen to them. Read them.
- 10:28Speaker 2: You don't need to talk to some idiot in a bar.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And it's the same with politics. So Princess Di's brother,
- 10:36Speaker 2: you know, he wrote this book. Princess Diana's brother. What
- 10:42Speaker 2: the hell is his name? I can't remember his name.
- 10:44Speaker 2: But he wrote... This book, first he said that after
- 10:49Speaker 2: the horrific car crash, that Prince Charles was very cold
- 10:55Speaker 2: about it. Very cold. And he said about Diana, people
- 10:59Speaker 2: will forget about her soon, soon enough. Charles Spencer was
- 11:03Speaker 2: his name. He wrote the book. And that's where he said,
- 11:07Speaker 2: Prince Charles actually said, people will forget about Diana soon enough.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It's a very classy way to be really nasty. Yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 2: they'll forget about that. Blank and blank. Now, if you're
- 11:19Speaker 2: a royal, you say they'll forget about her soon enough. Well,
- 11:23Speaker 2: he also in the book now, he says that the
- 11:27Speaker 2: problem with Prince Harry is he was very, very young
- 11:30Speaker 2: when Diana was killed. William was already 15, but Harry
- 11:34Speaker 2: was only 12. And he said at the funeral, he
- 11:37Speaker 2: looked at Harry and could see he was spinning out
- 11:39Speaker 2: of control. He was too young, weak, too shaken up
- 11:44Speaker 2: by this, too vulnerable. And that Prince Charles, he's claiming
- 11:49Speaker 2: Prince Charles did not do enough to keep Harry grounded,
- 11:54Speaker 2: to help Harry through it. And that's where Harry went bad.
- 11:59Speaker 2: He said, I could not get over how tiny and
- 12:01Speaker 2: slight and bereft Harry looked. See, that's another thing if
- 12:04Speaker 2: you're a royal, you talk like that. You don't say, hey,
- 12:07Speaker 2: you look like blank. You say, he looks bereft. I
- 12:12Speaker 2: don't know what bereft is, but it doesn't sound good
- 12:14Speaker 2: to me. Bereft. Try that with somebody. What the hell's
- 12:16Speaker 2: wrong with you? You're a mess. But walk up to
- 12:20Speaker 2: them and say, you look bereft. They're not going to
- 12:25Speaker 2: get mad. I mean, first they're going to have to
- 12:26Speaker 2: run home and get a dictionary to find out what
- 12:28Speaker 2: the hell bereft is. But I'm going to try that
- 12:32Speaker 2: later today. You'll be better soon enough. So bereft, and
- 12:36Speaker 2: always use the phrase soon enough. Hey, Trump announced the
- 12:41Speaker 2: Greenland deal with Denmark. giving us permanent security control over Denmark.
- 12:48Speaker 2: This is a big thing. This is everything we wanted. Now,
- 12:50Speaker 2: the reason we want Denmark, it's extremely crucial militarily for
- 12:55Speaker 2: a base, for all that. The fear is the Russians
- 12:58Speaker 2: or the Chinese can use it as a launching pad.
- 13:01Speaker 2: It would be the perfect place to attack the actual
- 13:03Speaker 2: United States. So we need to have control of it. Now,
- 13:06Speaker 2: we did have control of it. I guess the importance
- 13:08Speaker 2: of this deal is it'll make it permanent. Absolutely 100%
- 13:12Speaker 2: locked in permanent forever. So that means we really don't
- 13:16Speaker 2: have to worry too much. Now, the leaders of Denmark, Greenland,
- 13:22Speaker 2: and the United States are all in town this week
- 13:25Speaker 2: for the U.N. General Assembly. So they'll sign the agreement
- 13:29Speaker 2: this week here in New York. Hey, that Lindsey Clancy juror,
- 13:34Speaker 2: the holdout, he's been very careful not to go public,
- 13:38Speaker 2: the holdout juror. He speaks publicly through his lawyer, but
- 13:42Speaker 2: he's been careful not to do any interviews, not to
- 13:44Speaker 2: become too visible. The lawyer says he's getting death threats
- 13:49Speaker 2: from all over the place. So that's why he's staying underground.
- 13:54Speaker 2: If he speaks, it's through the attorney. They have a
- 13:58Speaker 2: GoFundMe because he's got expenses, security lawyers. The GoFundMe has
- 14:03Speaker 2: already raised $ 330, 000. $ 330, 000. But the Lindsay Clancy GoFundMe has
- 14:14Speaker 2: raised like millions. So one anonymous donor gave $ 10, 000 to this.
- 14:18Speaker 2: So if you want to donate to the loan juror,
- 14:21Speaker 2: I'm sure you can go online and find it somewhere.
- 14:24Speaker 2: New York is doing very well. Rentals are through the roof.
- 14:29Speaker 2: It's very tough to rent an apartment right now. They're
- 14:31Speaker 2: all being rented. Co-op sales are way up. Hotels are
- 14:36Speaker 2: being built. Massive. skyscrapers, supertalls are being built all over Manhattan.
- 14:43Speaker 2: And in Brooklyn, there's an old hotel there, the old
- 14:46Speaker 2: Hotel Bossert in Brooklyn Heights. Ritz-Carlton just bought it. They're
- 14:51Speaker 2: going to build residences. This is a big thing for
- 14:54Speaker 2: them now. They do this in certain places. The Ritz-Carlton residences,
- 14:57Speaker 2: they're extremely expensive, very elegant, fancy condos. They got one
- 15:02Speaker 2: in Long Island. Where is that? North Hills? Somewhere like that?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Lake Success. It's right off the LIE. You drive by
- 15:10Speaker 2: it all the time. The Ritz-Carlton Residences. They started at
- 15:14Speaker 2: $ 2 or $ 3 million. Now they sell for $ 8 million,
- 15:16Speaker 2: $ 10 million. These are for condos. So they're building one
- 15:19Speaker 2: in Brooklyn Heights, 15 stories. It's going to take a
- 15:23Speaker 2: while to build this. So this is a Ritz-Carlton residence.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Very expensive condos going into Brooklyn. First floor will have
- 15:31Speaker 2: a Danny Meyer restaurant. That's pretty good. The real estate agent,
- 15:35Speaker 2: the team is being led by Ryan Serhant. who's now
- 15:39Speaker 2: the most annoying guy in the world, but he's handling
- 15:44Speaker 2: the sales. Hey, we'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is
- 15:46Speaker 2: the number.
- 15:46Speaker 1: 800-321-0710.
