- 0:13SPEAKER_00: I'm Emily Brooks, and today we're doing something a little different.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: You can consider this your seasonal cheat sheet of what's happening around Thurston County over the next few months.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: We're rounding up some of the best events coming our way in October, November, and December, which means we're going from pumpkins and crispfall days straight into twinkle lights, holiday markets, and all things cozy.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Now, just an important disclaimer: this is not every event happening in Thurston County, not even close.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: There are always concerts, performances, markets, and so much more popping up throughout the county.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: So you can think of this just as a highlight reel.

- 1:30SPEAKER_00: It features local vendors, food trucks, and more from 5 to 8 p.m.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Next, we have Boo Bash happening at the Hands-on-Children Museum October 24th through the 31st.

- 2:01SPEAKER_00: October, you have officially given us plenty of reasons to leave the house, and we will move into November where we start making the transition from fall festivities into the holiday season.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: This is one of my favorite times to explore locally because there's a little bit of everything happening.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Catch a show, you can start holiday shopping and supporting local makers, grab dinner somewhere cozy, and even get a head start on holiday traditions.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Coming up on November 7th, we have the holiday market put on by the Lacey South Sound Chamber at North Thurston High School, where local artisans and small businesses sell their goods, they have tastings and a bunch more.

- 3:34SPEAKER_00: So this one spans a while, but it starts November 20th.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: It's Olympia's seasonal ice rink and it's returning for another year, bringing a little winter magic to our capital city.
