- 1:36Speaker 3: Does this seemed like a long week to you guys?
- 1:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Is it always like that? Like the week before a
- 1:41Speaker 2: vacation week always seems like it drags a little bit?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it does.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Yeah, because anytime you take time off, it's like there's
- 1:50Speaker 5: the anticipation, well or the work to take time off.
- 1:54Speaker 5: It's like, you know, we may be off for three days,
- 1:57Speaker 5: but there's you know that's twelve hours shows.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm looking forward to it though. Oh Thanksgiving,
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah man, I am.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I'm really looking forward to it.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I love cooking so like for me to wake up
- 2:11Speaker 2: that morning or Wednesday, I think, uh, my boy and
- 2:13Speaker 2: I are gonna play golf early in the morning and
- 2:15Speaker 2: then that afternoon we're gonna come home and start cooking.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And I mean there's to me like the number one thing,
- 2:20Speaker 2: Like if I plan, if I get a nice bottle
- 2:22Speaker 2: of wine and a glass of wine, get some good
- 2:26Speaker 2: music going, man, I will not leave my kitchen for
- 2:28Speaker 2: hours just cooking, just kind of pissing around making something
- 2:32Speaker 2: good to eat.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I love it.
- 2:34Speaker 6: You would make a man a fine wife.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I've been told yesterday. Yesterday I got told no un
- 2:40Speaker 2: certain terms. Yeah yeah, I just I just love doing
- 2:43Speaker 2: it so much, you know, I really do. So. This
- 2:46Speaker 2: is one of my favorite times of year simply because
- 2:47Speaker 2: the weather's better. It just feels better. Everything about this
- 2:51Speaker 2: time of year is my favorite. This is why fall
- 2:53Speaker 2: will always be my favorite favorite time of year. I
- 2:56Speaker 2: know there are spring people who love it when it
- 2:58Speaker 2: comes back to life after Christmas.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I like it going in. You like things dying. I
- 3:02Speaker 3: like things dying like that, Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I do. I just like the fault, I think. Do
- 3:07Speaker 2: you think most Floridians like that just simply because it's
- 3:10Speaker 2: the first break we get from the brutal summers? No
- 3:14Speaker 2: differently than maybe people from Wisconsin look forward to spring.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, well yeah, no falling out.
- 3:19Speaker 5: I think you yelled it and you just went through
- 3:21Speaker 5: several months of heat that where you know, makes your
- 3:24Speaker 5: eyes feel back, and then it's like, ah, yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 3: This is what Florida should be.
- 3:31Speaker 2: You can walk from your door to your vehicle on
- 3:33Speaker 2: a date and not have to take a shower in between. Exactly.
- 3:37Speaker 7: But is it like for you?
- 3:38Speaker 2: So you guys lived up north though you lived in
- 3:40Speaker 2: inclement weather, that was the other side of that of
- 3:43Speaker 2: that coin, Like you lived in Jersey and then you
- 3:45Speaker 2: lived in Wisconsin. So was it the same vibe for
- 3:48Speaker 2: you guys coming out of winter? Like you were like, man,
- 3:50Speaker 2: but just now you're more frustrated.
- 3:53Speaker 6: You're more frustrated, yeah, because I mean you're waiting for
- 3:55Speaker 6: spring and winter would hang on.
- 3:58Speaker 5: No, Yeah, but when spring arrived, you're so thankful to
- 4:01Speaker 5: be done with yea, everything that comes, it's.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Everyone looks, oh look it's snow. Yeah, so ont a white.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Christmas, isn't that? But living in it it's a different game.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's every time we go up into areas that
- 4:15Speaker 2: have snow like that. Primarily it was Colorado because our
- 4:18Speaker 2: friends from there and we say, oh man, it must
- 4:20Speaker 2: be like, you know, being great. And we went to
- 4:22Speaker 2: Maine the day after Christmas, actually the day of Christmas
- 4:25Speaker 2: or no, the day after to do our snowmobiling trip
- 4:28Speaker 2: a few years back, and it was like everywhere you
- 4:31Speaker 2: look was like a postcard. It was magical for about
- 4:34Speaker 2: forty eight hours. As you say, that's December.
- 4:36Speaker 6: December snow is the magical, fat fluffy flakes that look
- 4:40Speaker 6: like a Christmas movie. But then after the holidays and
- 4:43Speaker 6: January snow, then that's just blizzard.
- 4:46Speaker 3: It's just cold, hard, cardy.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's the work it takes to go outside.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Like in the summer, there's no work. It's flopped shorts,
- 4:55Speaker 2: t shirt.
- 4:56Speaker 3: If now you go.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Man, when you when we were in Maine, it's like
- 4:59Speaker 2: you to suit up for war. Every time you walk
- 5:02Speaker 2: out or come back in the house. It was a
- 5:03Speaker 2: it was a fifteen or twenty minute ordeal.
- 5:06Speaker 6: And invariably as soon as you get everything on is
- 5:10Speaker 6: when you have to peete, right.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, right, right, all right, four oh seven nine
- 5:15Speaker 2: four one text us at seven seven zero three one.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Found out today Jack, you know I was opening whether
- 5:20Speaker 2: or not Task would be picked up for a second season. Yes,
- 5:24Speaker 2: today they announced Task got picked up for another season.
- 5:28Speaker 5: So I've still only seen the first couple of episodes.
- 5:30Speaker 5: It's just because it's one of those it's heavy.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, al right, it is a bit.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It's a drama. Yeah, no question, it's a drama. But
- 5:39Speaker 2: it does have a I will tell you it's so
- 5:41Speaker 2: funny because Sabby and I are watching it. We watched
- 5:44Speaker 2: it kind of like together. You're texting back and forth
- 5:46Speaker 2: right after each episode. Yeah, And she said she thought
- 5:50Speaker 2: it was one of the most unique dramas because it
- 5:52Speaker 2: doesn't have a you mother, It doesn't have she I'm gay.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Everybody knows that other than the two of you are a.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Match exactly as Man's Body.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So it does have a more uplifting ending than most
- 6:07Speaker 2: of those shows that that end on like kind of
- 6:09Speaker 2: a downer. It doesn't really end like that. It actually
- 6:12Speaker 2: has a bit of a redemption story to it, but
- 6:15Speaker 2: I can't tell you that because it's a big crust
- 6:16Speaker 2: of the show. And I started Ploribus. I'm on episode two.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I just watched episode two. Yeah, yeah, so that is
- 6:24Speaker 2: really interesting, is it really? That's the one she also
- 6:27Speaker 2: told me the start.
- 6:28Speaker 5: I try to get my wife to watch it. It's like,
- 6:30Speaker 5: I watched it first one. I'm like, Okay, I think
- 6:32Speaker 5: this would be great if she wants to watch it.
- 6:34Speaker 5: So we're watching. Halfway through, she's like, why are we
- 6:36Speaker 5: watching this?
- 6:37Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, that's like that what's that wayward thing?
- 6:43Speaker 2: For a few episodes and you're like, whoa, dude, it's crazy.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And then I never finished that.
- 6:48Speaker 5: My wife saw all those I watched the first episode
- 6:50Speaker 5: of that, and my wife's like, what's that about a
- 6:52Speaker 5: school for wayward girls?
- 6:53Speaker 3: I don't think we're out as well? Watch girl interrupted.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, somebody just text in and said something. Ask me
- 7:00Speaker 2: about my my devil egg recipe. I guess the monsters
- 7:03Speaker 2: were blowing it up this morning really on the air
- 7:05Speaker 2: Angel because Angel ganked half the tray. Yeah yeah, and
- 7:08Speaker 2: then and then eat anyone else, and then even worse
- 7:11Speaker 2: text me and asked me.
- 7:12Speaker 3: What I was gonna do about it?
- 7:14Speaker 2: He guess what you're gonna do about it?
- 7:16Speaker 3: I t I three your devil eggs.
- 7:17Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:17Speaker 2: So they were talking about it on the air this morning.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Somebody just said, what was the secret an ingredient? And
- 7:21Speaker 2: believe it or not, there is a bit of a
- 7:22Speaker 2: secret ingredient to uh good deviled eggs.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Would you like to know what it is? Yeah?
- 7:27Speaker 2: It's butter. Really, yeah, it's butter. Well but okay, So
- 7:31Speaker 2: when you get your eggs, when you get your eggs,
- 7:33Speaker 2: your yellows broken up, you get your mayo in there
- 7:36Speaker 2: and you get it to the consistency you want. Then
- 7:38Speaker 2: you can type in your two types of mustard, brown
- 7:40Speaker 2: and yellow mustard. Right.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Then you put it in your salt pepper.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You put a little sweet pickle juice of a little
- 7:46Speaker 2: bit tablespoon or so, right, and then a little bit
- 7:48Speaker 2: of tabasco in there. It's a taste, but you put
- 7:51Speaker 2: in about two tablespoons of butter. And what it does
- 7:53Speaker 2: is it makes the eggs real velvety. Yeah, and you know, eggs.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Canna have a sulfrey kind of thing to them.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Some times. That butter also helps kind of tempt that down,
- 8:02Speaker 2: so you get a nice, real silky smooth and it
- 8:05Speaker 2: also sticks to your palate cutter so you can taste it.
- 8:07Speaker 6: I didn't get any, so I suggest you make another
- 8:10Speaker 6: plate of butters.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Are not cheap. You put butter in all fifteen of
- 8:13Speaker 3: the eggs.
- 8:14Speaker 2: You may you put the batter forre you squeeze in there.
- 8:18Speaker 2: The son of this, Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 8: So how do you do?
- 8:20Speaker 6: So?
- 8:21Speaker 5: Do you do the the trick like it's a piping bag, right,
- 8:24Speaker 5: you would use use a you can.
- 8:27Speaker 6: Use a zip lock bag and just cut the end
- 8:28Speaker 6: out of it off and use that as a piping bag.
- 8:30Speaker 3: But I also got the tip too.
- 8:32Speaker 2: You get the tip, so it kind of makes the
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's gonna be today the porn Body and Drunkston's Last
- 8:40Speaker 2: Hunter round ten. But you push that thing done in
- 8:42Speaker 2: the corner and then you put you're piping. And that's
- 8:44Speaker 2: why you can't have your filling too thick and you
- 8:47Speaker 2: can't have it to running either, because you wanted to
- 8:49Speaker 2: hold that shape when you pump them when you pipe
- 8:51Speaker 2: it in, and don't cut your eggs lengthwise, cut them
- 8:53Speaker 2: in half, and then when you're cutting them what you
- 8:56Speaker 2: do is you take your egg, put it on your
- 8:58Speaker 2: cutting board, and then the egg it'll have a natch
- 9:00Speaker 2: flat like one side's naturally flat like the Humpty side.
- 9:03Speaker 2: But what you do is you take your knife and
- 9:05Speaker 2: you cut about a nickel size end off of it,
- 9:08Speaker 2: and then you cut them in half. And then when
- 9:09Speaker 2: you trom over the stand up by themselves.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Don't notice that length.
- 9:14Speaker 2: While I don't do that, that's not the way to
- 9:16Speaker 2: do it. And you had you cut them, Yeah, you
- 9:18Speaker 2: cut them that way, and then when you turn on
- 9:20Speaker 2: the actually take more space. I'll tell you another secret.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You can transport them in your egg carton that way.
- 9:24Speaker 2: If you don't have a train, you can actually put
- 9:26Speaker 2: them right back in your egg carton that makes the
- 9:28Speaker 2: best sense and transform and transfer them. And then you
- 9:30Speaker 2: can also close the cart and it'll protect the.
- 9:33Speaker 5: You can only fit half. That's why, that's probably why
- 9:35Speaker 5: you only did fifteen.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Well, you know, I have to confess.
- 9:38Speaker 6: I when I put the deviled eggs on Ross's plate,
- 9:42Speaker 6: it was slippery and turned upside down.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Oh no, yeah, then I get the full aesthetic.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Yeah, he didn't get the piping marks. Let's just put
- 9:50Speaker 6: it that way. He did get the yoke back. I
- 9:52Speaker 6: had to do a little bit of magic to make
- 9:54Speaker 6: that happen.
- 9:55Speaker 3: He appreciates a good yoke. I do get.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I do get a little basic white Girl with my
- 9:59Speaker 2: pat prik though, because on the top, but I use
- 10:01Speaker 2: smoke paprika and you also put a little bit of
- 10:03Speaker 2: flake salt on top and some chop chives.
- 10:05Speaker 3: That's it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: That's a good devil day.
- 10:08Speaker 3: That is a good It's Thanksgiving weak. It's close, yeah, exactly.
- 10:14Speaker 6: People probably be going to the store this weekend. My
- 10:17Speaker 6: mom said Public's yesterday was insane.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Oh really was it?
- 10:20Speaker 2: At three o'clock? Really? Thursday afternoon, it's gonna be bud
- 10:24Speaker 2: And you know, I haven't got my turkeys yet, and
- 10:26Speaker 2: I'm cooking too. We do one in the oven roast
- 10:29Speaker 2: and then I smoke one because me and my son
- 10:32Speaker 2: and my father are all love smoke turkey, but nobody
- 10:35Speaker 2: else does. And I'm doing a little piece of beef too.
- 10:37Speaker 2: But I can't figure out what kind of beef I'm doing.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I'm on I think I may do a Pecana.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I don't know what that is. It's a roast cap
- 10:44Speaker 3: top that has a big thing.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It's like when you go to uh a text Timmershill Ye, yeah, Pecanya,
- 10:49Speaker 2: it's that roast it's the one that they it's the
- 10:52Speaker 2: it's the one they built the restaurant on. So you
- 10:53Speaker 2: get that roast cap or that stirling cap and you
- 10:56Speaker 2: cut it in the stakes and you've bend it around
- 10:57Speaker 2: a skewer and you keep that fat cap and you
- 11:00Speaker 2: that with just salt. That's it, and then you slice
- 11:03Speaker 2: it real thin and then serve it with a chimmy churry.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I like the term fat cat.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I was just thinking I've got a fat cat about.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Three all right?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Four seven nine four one again text us seven seven
- 11:14Speaker 2: zero three one. A big time restaurant from back in
- 11:17Speaker 2: the day is making a comeback. Amazon is thinking about
- 11:20Speaker 2: selling something that is going to be kind of unique.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Where are Americans moving and the cities are kind of unique?
- 11:27Speaker 9: Uh.
- 11:27Speaker 2: The Secretary of Transportation wants you to make some changes
- 11:30Speaker 2: before you travel. Uh. Plus, like I want to find out,
- 11:34Speaker 2: like who's a Target shopper and who's a Walmart chopper
- 11:36Speaker 2: because one of those brands is having a really difficult time. Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 2: I mean like a really difficult time. Also, there's a
- 11:42Speaker 2: thing happening in Flagler County. Have you heard about the
- 11:44Speaker 2: midnight Stalker? No, So there's a thing happening in Flagler
- 11:48Speaker 2: County I'll tell you about as well. And I've got
- 11:49Speaker 2: to take on this this this girl that was killed
- 11:53Speaker 2: and of course her step brother is the number one
- 11:56Speaker 2: suspect right now. I know that the story will probably
- 11:58Speaker 2: cover but I have an angle on that. And actually,
- 12:00Speaker 2: our question of the day is regarding step siblings. So
- 12:03Speaker 2: if you have step siblings, siblings, I want to know,
- 12:05Speaker 2: the question today is did you get along with them?
- 12:07Speaker 3: Did you have a good relationship with your step siblings?
- 12:09Speaker 2: And the reason I asked that I will tell you
- 12:11Speaker 2: a little bit later when we bring this story up,
- 12:13Speaker 2: because I have a take on it that it may
- 12:15Speaker 2: be a little upsetting for some people, but I don't care.
- 12:17Speaker 3: You know, it's one that we've adhered to as well.
- 12:19Speaker 6: What do you have for news today, Well, we're going
- 12:20Speaker 6: to talk about an Indian River County deputy is killed
- 12:23Speaker 6: while another deputy and a locksmith are injured. Younger Americans
- 12:28Speaker 6: are more likely to be okay with violence to stop
- 12:31Speaker 6: harmful speech. That's according to a poll. And who has
- 12:33Speaker 6: been voted Southerner of the Year, oh Man what a
- 12:37Speaker 6: great question. We'll talk about that and more coming up
- 12:39Speaker 6: next touring JCS News.
- 12:40Speaker 2: You got it all right? Four our seven nine one
- 12:42Speaker 2: six one text us at seven seven zero three. On

- 12:54Speaker 4: A new what a dog?
- 12:58Speaker 2: Where have you ben?
- 12:59Speaker 3: You know who your favorite tea bag girl?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Wills of the ball drum out there right now.
- 13:05Speaker 10: I know I've been absent in a few days and
- 13:07Speaker 10: I've been sick with the flu.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Yay flu.
- 13:11Speaker 10: But today we raise Beard a false confession day. So
- 13:15Speaker 10: in my defense, I have never open my mouth kissed
- 13:18Speaker 10: a horse. Have a good show, y'all.
- 13:25Speaker 2: That's good. Now what do you have to preface that with?
- 13:27Speaker 2: In my defense, that's somebody's excuge of that. Apparently not
- 13:33Speaker 2: a good accusation, by the way. All right, welcome back
- 13:37Speaker 2: to the Jim Colbert Show, Real Radio one four point one.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Thanks for tuning in. We appreciate that. My name is Jim.

- 14:11Speaker 6: third person has been rushed into surgery after a shooting
- 14:14Speaker 6: earlier today in Vero Beach. Sheriff Eric Flowers says when

- 14:38Speaker 11: was killed in the line of duty inside of that residence.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Flower says at least one Indian River County Shriff's deputy
- 14:43Speaker 6: fired back at the suspect who's been rushed into surgery.
- 14:47Speaker 6: Flowers says Halberstam has been fired from UPS and had
- 14:50Speaker 6: previously made negative comments online about the Indian River County
- 14:53Speaker 6: Sheriff's Office as well as his former employer.
- 14:56Speaker 2: They had been.
- 14:57Speaker 6: Called to that home north of Vero Beach seven times.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Just this month. That's crazy.
- 15:02Speaker 6: Almost all of them were from his own mother, who
- 15:05Speaker 6: was trying to a victim.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Literally every four days. Yep, the cops are coming to
- 15:09Speaker 2: your house. That's bad news.
- 15:10Speaker 6: That is way bad news. And they said he was
- 15:12Speaker 6: never on their radar. Just you know, guy in his
- 15:14Speaker 6: late thirties, right, Yeah, just seems like his life was
- 15:17Speaker 6: falling apart and he's taken others down with him.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Wow. Man.
- 15:21Speaker 12: All Right.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Florida has carried out it's seventeenth execution of the year,
- 15:24Speaker 6: doubling its previous record. Richard Barry Randolph was put to
- 15:28Speaker 6: death by lethal injection yesterday for the nineteen eighty eight
- 15:31Speaker 6: murder of a convenience store manager. The sixty three year
- 15:35Speaker 6: old became the forty fourth death Row inmate to be
- 15:37Speaker 6: executed in the US so far this year. Florida still
- 15:41Speaker 6: has two more executions on the calendar for December.
- 15:45Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Meanwhile, there's new information on a cold case murder in
- 15:48Speaker 6: Orange County. The Sheriff's office shared an update yesterday on
- 15:52Speaker 6: the nineteen eighty one murder of Orlando fifteen year old
- 15:55Speaker 6: Michelle Bass. She disappeared on her way to school at
- 15:59Speaker 6: Howard Junior High and her body was found in what's
- 16:02Speaker 6: now the Tilden Grove Estates area. A new forensic test
- 16:06Speaker 6: revealed fingerprints at the scene matched L. W. Turner, who
- 16:11Speaker 6: was sixteen at the time he passed away twenty years ago,
- 16:16Speaker 6: but the Orange County Sheriff's Office says detectives still want answers.
- 16:19Speaker 6: They say, even if the suspect has gone, someone out
- 16:22Speaker 6: there knows something, wow, and they want help bringing justice
- 16:25Speaker 6: to Michelle and closure to her family.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Crazy. Isn't that crazy? That is crazy. That is usually
- 16:30Speaker 2: it's DNA, not fingerprints. Enter Prince, I know it's crazy,
- 16:34Speaker 2: all right.
- 16:35Speaker 6: I know, like you had teas before at the beginning
- 16:37Speaker 6: of the show, Jimmy, that we're going to be talking
- 16:38Speaker 6: about this case a little later on. But family and
- 16:41Speaker 6: friends are remembering Anna Kepner, the Central Florida teenager who
- 16:44Speaker 6: died under mysterious circumstances on a cruise ship earlier this month.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Josh two, her former boyfriend, was among those who attended
- 16:52Speaker 6: a memorial service yesterday at Grove Church in Titusville, and
- 16:55Speaker 6: says Kepner did not appear to have a smooth relationship
- 16:59Speaker 6: with her six teen year old step brother.
- 17:01Speaker 13: She complained about on and being uncomfortable for her being
- 17:06Speaker 13: uncomfortable around him.
- 17:07Speaker 6: So this is from WFTV. From ABC News, Kepner was
- 17:11Speaker 6: killed due to asphyxiation. According to the ABC News sources,
- 17:15Speaker 6: Kepner suffered asphyxiation due to a bar hold, which left
- 17:18Speaker 6: two bruises on the side of her neck. Also, according
- 17:22Speaker 6: to those ABC News sources, she had no signs of
- 17:24Speaker 6: sexual assault and did not appear to have any drugs
- 17:27Speaker 6: or alcohol in her system.
- 17:29Speaker 2: All right.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Federal prosecutors in Tampa charged two US citizens and two
- 17:35Speaker 6: Chinese nationals in an alleged conspiracy to export cutting edge
- 17:40Speaker 6: Navidio graphics and AI units to China.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Oh, let's shut that down immediately.
- 17:45Speaker 6: The indictment claims the four illegally exported advanced graphics processing
- 17:51Speaker 6: processing unit rather by the way of Malaysia and Thailand,
- 17:56Speaker 6: using a real estate company and an Alabama electronics firm.
- 18:01Speaker 6: The group allegedly received nearly four million dollars in wire
- 18:04Speaker 6: transfers from China as payment.
- 18:06Speaker 7: Wow.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Prosecutors say it's part.
- 18:08Speaker 6: Of a campaign by China to become the world leader
- 18:11Speaker 6: in AI by twenty thirty.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Mm umber jack.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Shut it down exactly. Let's just shut it down, steal
- 18:19Speaker 5: everything we can and go from there. That's right, exactly why.
- 18:22Speaker 5: It's how they've been doing it all along.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Ty go underground, I mean literally underground, literally underground, you're
- 18:28Speaker 2: not kidding.
- 18:29Speaker 14: Well.
- 18:30Speaker 6: On the smaller side of that, Florida is expanding its
- 18:33Speaker 6: retail theft crackdown with the new task Force. It's going
- 18:36Speaker 6: to target organized crime rings that strike in multiple jurisdictions.
- 18:41Speaker 15: With respect to the task Force, we're going to sign
- 18:44Speaker 15: six prosecutors. It'll be working hand in hand with law
- 18:47Speaker 15: enforcement to ensure continuity, expertise, and maximum impact.
- 18:52Speaker 6: State Wide Prosecutor Brad McVeigh says this will help streamline
- 18:55Speaker 6: streamline investigations. When organize you know, theft teams strike across
- 19:00Speaker 6: multiple counties, they're thinking being, well, you can't prosecute me
- 19:04Speaker 6: for a crime I committed inn Alachua County if you
- 19:07Speaker 6: bust me in Orange County.
- 19:09Speaker 16: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Well I like this part because the promise is to
- 19:14Speaker 6: keep the worst offenders behind bars rather than merchandise behind plexiglass.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, for sure, Yeah, all right.
- 19:22Speaker 6: A judge in Tallahassee is hearing arguments today and a
- 19:25Speaker 6: lawsuit tied to a proposed Florida recreational marijuana amendment. The
- 19:30Speaker 6: group Smart and Say Florida accuses Secretary of State Cored
- 19:33Speaker 6: Bird's office of illegally directing election supervisors to toss more
- 19:38Speaker 6: than two hundred thousand signed petitions. Now, the dispute centers
- 19:42Speaker 6: on whether petitions must include the full text of the amendment,
- 19:45Speaker 6: a requirement the group says, listen, that's not in state law,
- 19:49Speaker 6: so why are you tossing them? According to the New
- 19:52Speaker 6: Service of Florida, attorneys for Bird's office argue the complaint
- 19:56Speaker 6: lacks merit.
- 19:57Speaker 2: So what they're saying is they were just getting people
- 19:59Speaker 2: to blindly sign stuff and then then apply their signature
- 20:03Speaker 2: to the form.
- 20:04Speaker 6: No, apparently they some of the petitions maybe didn't have
- 20:07Speaker 6: the full text of the amendment. Okay, so they're saying that, well,
- 20:10Speaker 6: then they're not going to be accepted. But the group
- 20:12Speaker 6: is saying, that's not state law, that the full text
- 20:15Speaker 6: has to be there.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So you would you, truthfully, you would think it would
- 20:18Speaker 2: have to be Yeah, you would think the entire text
- 20:20Speaker 2: would have to be on the on the sheet you're
- 20:22Speaker 2: signing to give you the opportunity to read it. I
- 20:23Speaker 2: don't understand why it wouldn't make.
- 20:25Speaker 6: I just find it very interesting. The tactics used.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Oh, there's no question, andything.
- 20:29Speaker 6: Everything to get that thing from coming to the voters.
- 20:32Speaker 2: They hate the weed so much they so I'm like,
- 20:35Speaker 2: take you to why because they haven't tried it, they'd
- 20:38Speaker 2: the way, they'd be fine with it. Uh huh. Oh man,
- 20:40Speaker 2: who wouldn't pay? Tell me who wouldn't pay to see
- 20:44Speaker 2: Ron DeSantis just completely absolutely blazed. I would I paid
- 20:50Speaker 2: him and Uthmeyer. I just put them in a room
- 20:52Speaker 2: together and blaze him up. Maybe they may be cool.
- 20:56Speaker 3: We'll never know.
- 20:57Speaker 6: A Trump administration proposal that could bring offshore oil drilling
- 21:01Speaker 6: closer to Florida's Gulf Coast is sparking bipartisan pushback. The
- 21:06Speaker 6: Interior Department wants to open part of the Eastern Gulf
- 21:09Speaker 6: for drilling leases starting in twenty twenty nine, in an
- 21:12Speaker 6: area close to a buffer zone that extends about one
- 21:14Speaker 6: hundred miles off shore from Florida. Critics of the plan
- 21:17Speaker 6: include Governor Ron de Santis, both US senators, and a
- 21:21Speaker 6: host of Republican and Democratic congressional representatives. Absolutely absolutely, they
- 21:26Speaker 6: warn the plan threatens tourism, military operations, and fragile wildlife.
- 21:31Speaker 6: The proposal is now in a sixty day public comment.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Are all it takes for you to know that that's
- 21:37Speaker 2: not a good idea is when you start sailing into
- 21:39Speaker 2: the New Orleans area and you get into right there,
- 21:42Speaker 2: as you start moving into the area where the Mississippi is,
- 21:45Speaker 2: and it's littered with those little oil derecks. Man, nothing
- 21:48Speaker 2: really really accentuates the nature of the golf like oil derricks. Yeah,
- 21:54Speaker 2: every one hundred and fifty or eighty yards. It provides
- 21:57Speaker 2: a nice skyline over the Gulf. It is wild when
- 22:02Speaker 2: you do that, when you go sailing that. I don't
- 22:03Speaker 2: know if there are any more there now, but I
- 22:04Speaker 2: mean when we sold, when we sailed in the New
- 22:06Speaker 2: Orleans before, you just look everywhere. I mean, people are
- 22:09Speaker 2: like out on the decks going just freaking out real
- 22:13Speaker 2: because there are so many oil directs out there as
- 22:14Speaker 2: we remember it.
- 22:16Speaker 6: All right, Well, speaking of public comment, twenty percent of
- 22:19Speaker 6: adults eighteen to twenty nine agreed violence can be justified
- 22:24Speaker 6: sometimes to stop harmful speech. That's the finding of a
- 22:28Speaker 6: Florida State University poll taken after Conservative active as Charlie
- 22:31Speaker 6: Kirk's assassination.
- 22:34Speaker 14: This replication.
- 22:35Speaker 17: I think what we've seen across numerous studies across the
- 22:37Speaker 17: board is that younger Americans tend to be less tolerant
- 22:41Speaker 17: of political speech than older Americans. Less tolerant on many dimensions,
- 22:45Speaker 17: not just speech.
- 22:46Speaker 14: Frankly, yeah.
- 22:47Speaker 6: So. Researcher Ryan Owens partially blames progressive politics being taught
- 22:52Speaker 6: in kindergarten through twelfth grade and believes increased civic education
- 22:56Speaker 6: could be a game changer. I never understood why they
- 22:59Speaker 6: took that out of stool, I really don't. I mean,
- 23:01Speaker 6: it was it was something we took for granted when
- 23:03Speaker 6: we were growing up.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it was exactly is how I learned government, how government.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Works, exactly between mat and schoolhouse rock.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Yeah, how government is supposed.
- 23:10Speaker 2: To wait, Yeah, yeah, the idea.
- 23:12Speaker 6: The study also found nearly sixty percent believe some speech
- 23:16Speaker 6: can be as damaging as physical violence.
- 23:19Speaker 3: All right.
- 23:20Speaker 6: Organizers of a food giveaway in Orange County are amazed
- 23:24Speaker 6: by the turnout, and I do not use the word
- 23:26Speaker 6: amazed in a good way. When Dixie and Second Harvest
- 23:29Speaker 6: Food Bank teamed up with the Hispanic American Alliance group
- 23:32Speaker 6: to hand out over about five hundred turkeys. Yesterday in
- 23:36Speaker 6: winter Park, people lined up for miles in their cars
- 23:40Speaker 6: hours ahead of time.
- 23:42Speaker 12: Wow.
- 23:43Speaker 6: Yeah, One organizer tells Wesh two, it's sad to see
- 23:47Speaker 6: so many people in need, but she's happy that they
- 23:50Speaker 6: were able to help them.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I read about that this morning. That is what
- 23:54Speaker 2: is the fairgrounds right, Yeah, yeah, crazy. I did not
- 23:56Speaker 2: read that the line was like miles long. But I
- 23:59Speaker 2: mean the story that's just about how WHND Dix he
- 24:01Speaker 2: had come through to help Second Harvest at a time
- 24:03Speaker 2: when they really need it. And a lot of those
- 24:04Speaker 2: vendor zoo you know, but you know, publics gets a
- 24:07Speaker 2: lot of that attention. But when Dixie was the one
- 24:09Speaker 2: they talked about this morning coming through pretty hardcore form.
- 24:11Speaker 6: Well thank you WND Dixie. Second Harvest Food Southern.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Grosser has been doing it for a while.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they have it.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Plus when Dixie's got a great military military program that
- 24:21Speaker 6: supports that supports veterans rather all right. Speaking of the holiday,
- 24:25Speaker 6: the holiday travel period is kicking into first gear, and
- 24:28Speaker 6: this year there's a new trend. Travel editor Peter Greenberg
- 24:31Speaker 6: says more people are driving to their final destinations.
- 24:35Speaker 2: During the shutdown of the government. A lot of travelers
- 24:38Speaker 2: decided to postpone.
- 24:39Speaker 14: Or delay their air trips, and.
- 24:41Speaker 2: About twenty six percent of them said instead they're going
- 24:44Speaker 2: to go on the road. Oh yay.
- 24:46Speaker 6: So he says the worst day for travel is not
- 24:48Speaker 6: the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It's actually going to be the
- 24:51Speaker 6: Sunday after, he said, when everyone has the unoriginal idea
- 24:55Speaker 6: of hey, let's all head home.
- 24:56Speaker 2: At the same time. Exactly right.
- 24:59Speaker 6: So if you're looking to avoid long lines and delays,
- 25:01Speaker 6: he suggests heading home maybe next Friday, if you can
- 25:04Speaker 6: have that time.
- 25:05Speaker 5: You want to beat the rush, you leave after Thanksgiving,
- 25:07Speaker 5: after the meal, take the dessert to go.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Yeah, just yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I was gonna say, just get your plag in the car,
- 25:13Speaker 3: eat it.
- 25:13Speaker 5: In the car on nine ninety five exactly because you'll
- 25:16Speaker 5: probably be stopped anyway.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Just feel the family warmth.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Well.
- 25:19Speaker 6: If you are traveling, though, be warned. Travelers trying to
- 25:22Speaker 6: go through airport security without that real ID or a
- 25:26Speaker 6: passport could be charged an eighteen dollars fee.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Really yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 6: The money would go towards the cost of an alternative
- 25:33Speaker 6: identity verification program that uses biometric data to verify identity.
- 25:38Speaker 2: A public notice about.
- 25:39Speaker 6: The proposal was published Thursday yesterday by the TSA.
- 25:43Speaker 2: No start date, though has been given.
- 25:46Speaker 6: Real ID was made back into law in two thousand
- 25:48Speaker 6: and five, but only became required this year. And you
- 25:51Speaker 6: remember earlier this year there were stories all over of
- 25:53Speaker 6: DMVs like an Alabama, oh, other states where people just.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Mad rushing to try to get their real ID for about.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Five years away from scannabal.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Barcodes tattooed into our foreheads. Oh yeah, on your wrist
- 26:07Speaker 2: yeah no, no, thank you.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Also in the sky, because we don't have enough SpaceX
- 26:13Speaker 6: is set to launch another Startlink mission on or for real.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Dude, I don't want anymore.
- 26:18Speaker 5: This is like, I mean the other day last night
- 26:21Speaker 5: it was awesome, was really like five or so Oka
- 26:25Speaker 5: went outside, beautiful clear night and just.
- 26:27Speaker 3: You just watch that thing go up. It's cool.
- 26:29Speaker 6: It is cool to be able to see launches from
- 26:31Speaker 6: your backyard. So the Falcon nine rocket is scheduled to
- 26:34Speaker 6: take off around two am from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
- 26:39Speaker 6: It'll carry a batch of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit,
- 26:42Speaker 6: and if you happen to be awake and are so inclined,
- 26:45Speaker 6: the event will be live streamed on SpaceX dot com.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Can starlink up and running. The beta test all went out,
- 26:53Speaker 2: But I don't hear anybody talking about using it. Oh yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 2: I mean, do we have anybody in our audience who
- 26:57Speaker 2: uses starlink?
- 26:59Speaker 6: Well, I know when they do the Daytona five hundred.
- 27:01Speaker 6: I've seen several local reporters talk about how that's the
- 27:04Speaker 6: only way they're able to broadcast because of all that
- 27:07Speaker 6: bandwidth that's being sucked on my cell phones.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Ye.
- 27:10Speaker 6: Yeah, they have to connect to starlink in order to
- 27:13Speaker 6: be a we have to.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Cistersations have done remotes on it. Our engineering department has
- 27:17Speaker 5: one as well as a backup system.
- 27:19Speaker 2: That's wild.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Sabrina's family has one that we use on a Monsters
- 27:23Speaker 5: broadcast in the summer.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's very cool.
- 27:26Speaker 7: I did not know that.
- 27:26Speaker 2: All I heard is when beta went out and then
- 27:28Speaker 2: nobody I knew out. In Geneva, there was a couple
- 27:30Speaker 2: of friends of mine that got on the list to
- 27:32Speaker 2: get the beta version, but they they they didn't ever
- 27:35Speaker 2: get their package for months. Oh yeah, well they signed up.
- 27:38Speaker 2: So I don't know anybody that uses it. I don't
- 27:40Speaker 2: We don't hear anybody talking about using it. We talk
- 27:42Speaker 2: more about the satellites going up than we do people
- 27:44Speaker 2: using the product. Yeah, it turns out a lot of
- 27:47Speaker 2: them do. Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you know, people using it isn't the news story.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, rocket launch first would be.
- 27:55Speaker 2: But the thing is, you would think you would hear
- 27:56Speaker 2: about how fast it is, how reliable it is, and
- 27:59Speaker 2: and that would occasionally come up in conversation, but I
- 28:01Speaker 2: don't ever hear about it.
- 28:02Speaker 6: But anyway, no, this is our final story. Probably not
- 28:06Speaker 6: who you're thinking, but an Alabama teenager has been named
- 28:09Speaker 6: Southerner of the Year Okay by Southern Living magazine. Fifteen
- 28:14Speaker 6: year old Lulu Gribbon Okay of Mountain Brook survived a
- 28:19Speaker 6: serious shark attack along the Florida Panhandle in June of
- 28:23Speaker 6: twenty twenty four, just last year.
- 28:25Speaker 2: You remember this.
- 28:26Speaker 6: She lost her left arm and her right leg. So
- 28:29Speaker 6: since the incident, Lulu founded a nonprofit company at fifteen
- 28:33Speaker 6: years old to help make prosthetics more affordable.
- 28:36Speaker 2: That's cool, isn't it. Yes.
- 28:37Speaker 6: Not only that, her story also inspired Alabama lawmakers to
- 28:41Speaker 6: create a statewide shark alert system.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I'll be damn So there you have it.
- 28:45Speaker 16: There you go.
- 28:45Speaker 2: That concludes your JCS news. I don't understand four oh
- 28:50Speaker 2: seven nine one text seven seven zero three one.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Sinker sale and Embers only are next.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Alabama. Yeah, is a long state and only the bottom.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Goes to the panandle.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Yeah. So why do you need a state wide shark alarm?
- 29:05Speaker 3: You really just need.
- 29:05Speaker 2: A really concerned about that one mile of people that
- 29:10Speaker 2: have access.
- 29:12Speaker 18: All right back in a second, get ready to text
- 29:15Speaker 18: your vote for sink or sale coming up next on
- 29:20Speaker 18: the Jim Kohlberg Show.
- 29:36Speaker 2: That's right, guys, have another primetime kitchen here on Real
- 29:39Speaker 2: Radio one oh four point one in the Jim Culbert Show,
- 29:41Speaker 2: featuring our good friend mister Faiez Kara, the food critic
- 29:45Speaker 2: restaurant critic for The and The Weekly. We'll get to
- 29:48Speaker 2: Faia as just one second. First thing first, if you
- 29:50Speaker 2: love cooking outside like I do, you gotta visit one
- 29:53Speaker 2: of our friends of our tools, Ace Hardware, fourteen of
- 29:55Speaker 2: these beautiful locations all throughout central Florida, and they have
- 29:58Speaker 2: everything in the big Green Tregger, Napoleon Weber, Gosney Pizza ovens,
- 30:04Speaker 2: Oony Pizza ovens, and everything in between. Your rubs, your marinage,
- 30:08Speaker 2: your injectors, your cooking woods, smoking woods, it's all right there,
- 30:13Speaker 2: live in it up outside with a visit to our
- 30:15Speaker 2: friends over a toolsase hardware that's toolsaceyardware dot com.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Good luck for.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Guys for a man, mister Fiaz Kara day, helloha brother?
- 30:27Speaker 2: How you doing pretty good?
- 30:29Speaker 3: You not too bad? How's your week been?
- 30:33Speaker 7: It's been. It's been busy, hasn't it has?
- 30:36Speaker 3: And what's made it so busy?
- 30:38Speaker 7: Food? Just eating?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Just eating? How do you? How do you stay? I mean,
- 30:42Speaker 2: you're not a fat guy by any means. I know
- 30:44Speaker 2: that we only see your head and shoulders while we're
- 30:47Speaker 2: doing the segment, but I know you to be a
- 30:49Speaker 2: relatively fit cat.
- 30:50Speaker 3: How do you eat so much and then not gain weight? Yes?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 30:54Speaker 19: How I know you've asked me this before, and I've
- 30:57Speaker 19: joked around by saying it's it's it's all the cocaine.
- 31:00Speaker 19: But that's not true. Okay, that's not true. I am
- 31:02Speaker 19: actually going to play tennis right after this. But you know,
- 31:05Speaker 19: someone asked me this a week ago, and I swear
- 31:07Speaker 19: to god, I don't know.
- 31:08Speaker 7: I really don't know. I feel like one day I'm going.
- 31:10Speaker 19: To hit a wall and that'll be it, and they'll
- 31:13Speaker 19: find me in a ditch somewhere like outside a restaurant probably,
- 31:16Speaker 19: and that'll be that.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I think that you're not a dainty and you're not
- 31:20Speaker 2: a dainty eater. By the way.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that wall when your metabolism kicks down, is gonna
- 31:24Speaker 5: hit in your low thirties.
- 31:26Speaker 3: So when you get there, Fayez.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Oh buddy, one day, it's next year, yeah for sure,
- 31:31Speaker 2: all right, Like we said, Fayez is the restaurant critic
- 31:34Speaker 2: for the Orlando Weekly Orlando Weekly dot com. You can
- 31:36Speaker 2: read his tip jar column there every single week. You
- 31:38Speaker 2: can follow him on social we'll tell you how to
- 31:40Speaker 2: do that in a little bit. He calls us every
- 31:41Speaker 2: single week to tell us what's hot in Orlando when
- 31:43Speaker 2: it comes to eating the best food and drinking the
- 31:45Speaker 2: best drinks. Let's start with the review. Is it moa
- 31:48Speaker 2: Kai Hawaiian diner?
- 31:50Speaker 19: Moakai exactly moa Kai and that is it's a Hawaiian diner,
- 31:54Speaker 19: as who say. And it's where the Mangoaloren used to be,
- 31:56Speaker 19: kind of like right there on the corner of Colonial
- 31:58Speaker 19: and Bumby. Oh yeah, yeah, so you remember that it
- 32:02Speaker 19: was a Star Wars theme kind of thing and it's
- 32:06Speaker 19: got like the it's got total diner vibes there, you know,
- 32:08Speaker 19: the red leather stools, you know, But unlike the Mongalorean,
- 32:13Speaker 19: this is now a full service restaurant and so they
- 32:17Speaker 19: also have a cocktail program there. And I just love
- 32:20Speaker 19: how all the food I had there was just so unfussy,
- 32:23Speaker 19: so void of frills, you know, it's just so very
- 32:25Speaker 19: diner to the core, you know what I'm saying. But
- 32:27Speaker 19: of course it's being Hawaiian diner. Things like you know,
- 32:30Speaker 19: spam are featured, and if you guys are into spam,
- 32:34Speaker 19: the fried spam Lisubi is is something I would recommend.
- 32:37Speaker 19: And there's a picture of it right there people watching
- 32:39Speaker 19: on Jim Kolbert.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Great.
- 32:42Speaker 19: Yeah, it's coded in in like Panco. Then it's got
- 32:44Speaker 19: the spicy spicy sauce drizzled over it. Uh there's uh,
- 32:50Speaker 19: there's you know, there's a lot of obviously a lot
- 32:53Speaker 19: of like Asian influence in Hawaiian cuisine, and some of
- 32:57Speaker 19: the things I really liked, quite enjoyed was was a
- 33:01Speaker 19: dish called the Manapoua, and Manapooa is sort of like
- 33:04Speaker 19: a large soft adobe bow and it's stuffed with charsu pork.
- 33:10Speaker 19: The By the way, the name moa Kai is in
- 33:12Speaker 19: reference to those feral chickens gone room the Hawaiian Islands,
- 33:15Speaker 19: and so chicken, of course, is also very much prominently
- 33:18Speaker 19: featured on the menu, in the garlic noodles, for example,
- 33:22Speaker 19: in the in the tariaki skewers, it's in uh it's a.
- 33:27Speaker 2: It's a.
- 33:27Speaker 19: It's in a bunch of things. You can get chicken
- 33:29Speaker 19: a lot, oh Korean fried chicken, for example. But but
- 33:32Speaker 19: two of my favorite dishes. They're one called the Local Moco,
- 33:35Speaker 19: and it's sort of Hawaiian's answer, Hawaii's answer to Salisbury steak. Okay,
- 33:41Speaker 19: this patty of beef. It's got the brown gravy. It's
- 33:43Speaker 19: got like, you know, the the sauted onions and mushrooms
- 33:47Speaker 19: and and it and it comes with a fried egg.
- 33:49Speaker 7: And I know you guys were poo pooing uh is.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Poo poo Hawaiian. We're you guys.
- 33:54Speaker 19: Are you guys were poo pooing the fried egg over
- 34:01Speaker 19: food last last week?
- 34:02Speaker 7: But now it really it really works. Oh yeah, I
- 34:05Speaker 7: like it too.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I did too.
- 34:07Speaker 7: And the other dick I really like was the the
- 34:09Speaker 7: Korean short ribs. There there.
- 34:11Speaker 19: It's marinated and show you on pineapple, and it's served
- 34:14Speaker 19: with it's served with like uh, white rice with sesamein
- 34:18Speaker 19: FLEs on it, and and mac and cheese. It's sort
- 34:20Speaker 19: of it's part of a plate lunch, what they call
- 34:23Speaker 19: the plate lunch in Hawaii. And it's sort of again
- 34:25Speaker 19: Hawaii's answer to like the meat in three or in
- 34:27Speaker 19: this case, the meat and two and then and then
- 34:30Speaker 19: finally there's also Portuguese influence.
- 34:32Speaker 7: In Hawaiian cuisine.
- 34:34Speaker 19: And and if you and if you end your meal
- 34:37Speaker 19: with the malasadas, and these are these are deep fried
- 34:40Speaker 19: doughnuts filled with like your choice of uh, like a coconut, custard,
- 34:46Speaker 19: passion fruit. Yeah you will. You will not be disappointed.
- 34:49Speaker 19: And again they have they have cocktails there as well,
- 34:52Speaker 19: so check them out. I really enjoyed the whole vibe there.
- 34:55Speaker 19: It's and if you're watching on Jim Colbert, if you
- 34:58Speaker 19: can see some photos of uh of the place. It's
- 35:01Speaker 19: very good.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Fighting Now, I mean obviously being Hawaiian, they obviously have poke.
- 35:06Speaker 19: They do have poku. So the owner, his name is
- 35:08Speaker 19: Hoyden Winn. He owns Poke Hunt. I just found.
- 35:11Speaker 3: OK, yeah, that's what I thought it was the same spot.
- 35:13Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so they do have Poke on the menu,
- 35:15Speaker 19: but if you want a more sort of like fleshed
- 35:17Speaker 19: out Poke program, yeah, let's go to Poke for sure.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. Another review went Dueling Reviews today, deb
- 35:24Speaker 2: Corner Chop House. We've actually talked about this place a
- 35:27Speaker 2: couple of times. This is the new steak restaurant going
- 35:29Speaker 2: into Wonder Park down in the old Dexter's.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Am I right there?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Or no?
- 35:33Speaker 7: Correct? Correct? It's been there.
- 35:34Speaker 19: It's been there now for for a few months. And
- 35:36Speaker 19: it's my Indigo Indigo Road Hospitality Group out of Charleston.
- 35:40Speaker 19: It's it's headed up by four times James Beard, a
- 35:43Speaker 19: Ward nominee Steve Palmer. And you know, when when this
- 35:46Speaker 19: place first opened, people slid into my dms on Instagram
- 35:50Speaker 19: at it's spay Aaskara and by the way, I will
- 35:52Speaker 19: respond to all my dms, and they were saying things like, oh,
- 35:55Speaker 19: this was like the status rib I've ever seen. Oh yeah,
- 35:59Speaker 19: and the and the steaks are overcooked and the sides
- 36:02Speaker 19: are met and the uh, you know, I miss Dexters,
- 36:05Speaker 19: things like that, And so when I went for the
- 36:07Speaker 19: first time, and these are from people who are sending
- 36:09Speaker 19: me some of these messages or people's whose opinions I
- 36:11Speaker 19: really you know, I you know, I take seriously. So
- 36:15Speaker 19: when when when I went there for the first time,
- 36:17Speaker 19: I was truly expecting a you know, a subpar, overpriced meal.
- 36:22Speaker 19: But so but you know what happened was that, you know,
- 36:26Speaker 19: I just I just got the overpriced meal.
- 36:28Speaker 7: Things weren't really subpar.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I just got the overpriced part. Yeah, I'd rather maybe
- 36:35Speaker 2: the subpar part. You're throwing a little of that, So
- 36:37Speaker 2: I'm not paying all this money for that. And you know,
- 36:39Speaker 2: the fist when you have the balls to open up
- 36:41Speaker 2: a steakhouse and upper level steakhouse in central Florida and
- 36:44Speaker 2: then you have the double balls to do that in
- 36:47Speaker 2: winter Park. When you know, when there's a Ruth Chris,
- 36:49Speaker 2: there's other you know name steak properties around you, I think,
- 36:53Speaker 2: you know, I don't know, I would think you'd have
- 36:55Speaker 2: to step it up and do a pretty good job
- 36:56Speaker 2: at doing that. I mean, there's a Flimmings, there's a
- 36:58Speaker 2: Ruth Chris, there's Chrisner. Is all within probably three or
- 37:01Speaker 2: four miles of each other.
- 37:03Speaker 7: Yeah, less than that, there's bo Fine.
- 37:05Speaker 19: But you know, so they have to be a differentiator, right,
- 37:07Speaker 19: and so what they've done here with the decor, it's
- 37:09Speaker 19: this got this whole prohibition style h vibe to it,
- 37:13Speaker 19: which is which is all fine and well. Now I
- 37:15Speaker 19: wanted to get the bone in dry aged ribbi, but
- 37:19Speaker 19: they were out of three steaks. It was like, I
- 37:21Speaker 19: don't know, seven thirty and they were already out of
- 37:23Speaker 19: three different steaks. How does that happen so.
- 37:26Speaker 2: At a steakhouse?
- 37:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so crazy.
- 37:28Speaker 19: Yeah yeah, So out of the seven steaks that were
- 37:31Speaker 19: out of three, so I ended up settling for the
- 37:33Speaker 19: eighty four dollars sixteen ounce prime ribbi.
- 37:36Speaker 3: What, yes, they mentioned me of a price part right over.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, I've not seen deb recoil like
- 37:44Speaker 2: that before.
- 37:46Speaker 7: Damn.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I've not seen a visceral reaction like that before ever.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I've known her twenty years, damn, near, I've never seen
- 37:53Speaker 2: a reality what.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Thanks for reminding me why I don't go out exactly
- 37:58Speaker 3: eighty four dollars one soon?
- 38:00Speaker 19: Well, when I went back, I got the one hundred
- 38:03Speaker 19: and fifty dollars twenty ounce dry age bone and red
- 38:07Speaker 19: bye they didn't have the first time I went. But
- 38:09Speaker 19: you know, all things considering all these steaks were done
- 38:13Speaker 19: super great. They were like perfectly done. There weren't the
- 38:16Speaker 19: things that you know, they didn't look anything like the
- 38:18Speaker 19: photos people were sending me.
- 38:20Speaker 7: You know. The sides were awesome.
- 38:22Speaker 19: The asparagus which a picture of it there with this
- 38:24Speaker 19: like mustardy sauce, grew beach. Everything was fantastic. That the
- 38:28Speaker 19: pork chop, which was forty six dollars, was massive. It
- 38:31Speaker 19: was absolutely massive. It was wonderfully marbled. However, when we
- 38:35Speaker 19: went to eat the leftovers the following day, when we
- 38:38Speaker 19: cut through it, we noticed it was a sizeable section
- 38:41Speaker 19: of it that was raw.
- 38:42Speaker 7: Oh so, so that was.
- 38:43Speaker 19: Really one of the only other negative things apart from
- 38:46Speaker 19: them being out of steaks. The slightly raw port and
- 38:50Speaker 19: it wasn't been slightly it was a chunk of it
- 38:51Speaker 19: that was luckily we ate the cook part.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Everything was.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Everything was good, except for the steaks being out of
- 38:56Speaker 2: the steak restaurant.
- 38:57Speaker 6: And the forty six dollars that raw in the middle.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Hey, look, man, if you get like you get those
- 39:03Speaker 2: chess is it chessh or pork? You get those pork
- 39:05Speaker 2: chops on like an inch and a half to inches, think,
- 39:07Speaker 2: there you go. And you get those things cook. You're
- 39:09Speaker 2: buying two meals. So you know, here's the thing I
- 39:11Speaker 2: don't know. You know, usually a couple you know, one
- 39:14Speaker 2: and a half two inches thick. They're gigantic. It is
- 39:17Speaker 2: a big old piece of meat.
- 39:18Speaker 3: And they're so good too, by the way.
- 39:20Speaker 19: And it's a good value. So if you want to
- 39:22Speaker 19: share that forty six bucks, that's not bad. It's a
- 39:24Speaker 19: picture right now in Jim Corport Live of the smoke
- 39:27Speaker 19: steak tartar which with black garlic, which was also very good.
- 39:30Speaker 19: The desserts of chocolate cake, the brown butter spiced apple
- 39:33Speaker 19: cake fantastic. So I mean, this is a place where
- 39:37Speaker 19: I think people will go first again a special occasion
- 39:39Speaker 19: if you don't want to drive down to the the
- 39:42Speaker 19: tourist area for a steakhouse or something, or you've had
- 39:45Speaker 19: you want to try something different than Roots Chris or
- 39:47Speaker 19: Flemings or Bovine or Christener's.
- 39:48Speaker 7: This, this I think is a good place.
- 39:50Speaker 19: And like I said in my review, I did say
- 39:52Speaker 19: that you know, they seem to have got their act together,
- 39:55Speaker 19: you know, in the last in the last few months.
- 39:57Speaker 19: But that said, the Corner Chop House is still a
- 40:02Speaker 19: bit rough.
- 40:03Speaker 7: Around the edges.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Okay, I could do it. I could feel it.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I can feel it coming because he slows down. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:11Speaker 2: he slows that. He doesn't want them as his own
- 40:13Speaker 2: joke up, so he slows down, you can and he
- 40:15Speaker 2: leans in a little bit.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Ye, you can feel it coming. Wait for it, all right,
- 40:18Speaker 3: let's talk way for it. Let's talk about Cuban hot
- 40:20Speaker 3: Dogs reopening.
- 40:22Speaker 7: Uh reopening. Yeah.
- 40:24Speaker 19: So there were a popular southern California hot dog place
- 40:26Speaker 19: there on Lee Road, and they opened, I believe in
- 40:29Speaker 19: early twenty twenty two, and then they closed in late
- 40:31Speaker 19: twenty twenty four. But they're making a comeback and they're
- 40:34Speaker 19: coming back to Longwood. So they'll be kind of like
- 40:37Speaker 19: near the corner of four thirty four and Ronald Reagan.
- 40:39Speaker 19: It's in the I believe the restaurants restaurants thing was
- 40:42Speaker 19: called Parada Restaurant where they're going in and they're.
- 40:45Speaker 7: Opening on Monday.
- 40:46Speaker 19: So they'll be opening Monday, those hot dogs and know
- 40:48Speaker 19: they'll be striking arrows of protein.
- 40:52Speaker 7: Through parts of dog lovers everywhere.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I mean, anything special over there, buddy, I mean, you know,
- 40:58Speaker 2: is it just a hot dog? And I mean I
- 40:59Speaker 2: don't me to you know, belittle it, But is there
- 41:02Speaker 2: a special reason we should visit Cubids?
- 41:05Speaker 7: You know, I did.
- 41:06Speaker 19: I did the review of Cupids a while ago, and I,
- 41:09Speaker 19: you know, I seem to like they're they're all beef,
- 41:11Speaker 19: They're all beef hot dogs.
- 41:13Speaker 7: They're you know, like sometimes you just want a hot dog.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 41:17Speaker 7: And this place satisfies it.
- 41:18Speaker 19: I think they're actually better than like we've talked about
- 41:21Speaker 19: hot Dog Heaven. It's an institution all that, But when
- 41:23Speaker 19: I went last time to hot Dog Heaven, I thought
- 41:25Speaker 19: that hot dogs were a bit small, really weren't. Yeah,
- 41:29Speaker 19: I wasn't that thrilled thrilled with them, But Cupids did
- 41:32Speaker 19: satisfy that hot dog craving edgy.
- 41:34Speaker 7: You just want like a simple like hot dog with
- 41:36Speaker 7: the toppings, and they do it. Now.
- 41:40Speaker 19: The southern California spot has the roller skating. Yeah, this place,
- 41:44Speaker 19: this place doesn't all right.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Well, I know that we learned earlier that Tactical Brewing
- 41:49Speaker 2: was making some moves.
- 41:50Speaker 3: This was actually new to me.
- 41:51Speaker 2: I just heard it earlier this week because buddy of
- 41:53Speaker 2: mine lives down there, and he said that they were
- 41:55Speaker 2: just staying in that area but moving to a larger space.
- 41:59Speaker 19: Yeah, so if your people are familiar with Baldwin Park.
- 42:02Speaker 19: So they're moving right across the street from Osprey in
- 42:05Speaker 19: that Orlando metro Gymnastics space, which is pretty massive.
- 42:08Speaker 7: It's a pretty capacious space.
- 42:10Speaker 19: And the difference is that beyond just having you know,
- 42:13Speaker 19: brewing operations, they're going to have a food haul in there.
- 42:17Speaker 19: They'll have five food vendors and they're also going to
- 42:20Speaker 19: provide a space for live music.
- 42:22Speaker 7: It'll be sort of like a concert venu as well.
- 42:24Speaker 19: So and I think they're targeting spring twenty twenty six
- 42:29Speaker 19: for that. I mean, metro Gymnastics are still in there,
- 42:31Speaker 19: so they have to move out first, and you know,
- 42:33Speaker 19: then the work will need to start. But I think
- 42:35Speaker 19: that's kind of ambitious. I think it's going to be
- 42:37Speaker 19: later in twenty twenty six when.
- 42:39Speaker 2: That open, yeah, because I mean, they took them forever
- 42:41Speaker 2: to open the one they're in now, which is also
- 42:43Speaker 2: also pretty darn big.
- 42:45Speaker 3: I mean, it's kind of wild that they've outgrown that
- 42:47Speaker 3: spot that is.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I mean, I thought it was pretty spacious for a brewery,
- 42:50Speaker 2: but that one does get a lot of action when
- 42:52Speaker 2: they set up, and they started kind of getting when
- 42:54Speaker 2: we live down there. You can walk down on a
- 42:56Speaker 2: Tuesday and there would be it would be a hard,
- 42:58Speaker 2: hard time to find a seat there on a Tuesday night. Yeah,
- 43:01Speaker 2: so it would be nothing to it. And then listen
- 43:03Speaker 2: like how they experiment with their beers too. Yeah, yeah,
- 43:05Speaker 2: and they man, they had a white stout there for years.
- 43:07Speaker 2: It was one of the best things I ever consumed
- 43:09Speaker 2: in my life. But I haven't been down there now.
- 43:12Speaker 2: It was I'm telling you, it was so good. My
- 43:14Speaker 2: wife and I would walk down there just to get
- 43:15Speaker 2: this beer.
- 43:16Speaker 3: It was that good. But I haven't had it in
- 43:19Speaker 3: years though.
- 43:19Speaker 2: But let's move on to Minnesota Row. I don't even
- 43:22Speaker 2: know what you're talking about.
- 43:24Speaker 19: Okay, So this, you know, like kind of behind the
- 43:26Speaker 19: Krispy Kreman Winter Park on Minnesota Minnesota Avenue. So they're
- 43:30Speaker 19: gonna be there. There's an office park back there. I
- 43:32Speaker 19: believe it's the Winter Park Business Center or something like that,
- 43:35Speaker 19: and it's going to be transformed into a mixed use
- 43:39Speaker 19: kind of development with retail and restaurants and the subject
- 43:43Speaker 19: of this week's review, Corner Chop House. The same restaurant
- 43:46Speaker 19: group will be opening up their sushi concept there.
- 43:48Speaker 7: Called Oh Coup or it's Oh dash Ku.
- 43:51Speaker 19: I'm not sure if that's O coop or not, but
- 43:54Speaker 19: they're and they're going to be opening up in spring
- 43:56Speaker 19: twenty twenty six. It's it's I think one hundred and
- 43:59Speaker 19: twenty thousand square feet. I know it's the first restaurant
- 44:01Speaker 19: that's really been announced. But that'll be like an interesting space.
- 44:04Speaker 19: It'll that's kind of part of Winter Park.
- 44:06Speaker 2: That's kind of wild man because I mean that's kind
- 44:09Speaker 2: of off the beaten path. You have to take a
- 44:11Speaker 2: rite off of seventeen ninety two and drive like maybe
- 44:14Speaker 2: two or three blocks back there before you get there,
- 44:16Speaker 2: and there's a lot of auto shops and.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Stuff like back in that area.
- 44:19Speaker 19: Yes, and this is like a pretty sizable office park.
- 44:22Speaker 19: It's it's it's got a white facade, yeah exactly. I
- 44:25Speaker 19: mean it's not that far back in. I would say,
- 44:27Speaker 19: like I don't know, maybe half a mile in behind
- 44:30Speaker 19: the Krispy Kream.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 19: So yeah, definitely a different side of Winter Park than
- 44:35Speaker 19: people are used to. But but yeah, that'll be interesting
- 44:38Speaker 19: to see. I think there's gonna have some park spaces
- 44:40Speaker 19: where they're going to try to bring some foot traffic,
- 44:42Speaker 19: so you know, there's neighborhoods back there as well.
- 44:45Speaker 2: So yeah, for sure. Yeah, because that's the borderline of
- 44:47Speaker 2: college in the Winter Park. I mean that's like exactly
- 44:49Speaker 2: where that line is is right there. Well, good job, buddy,
- 44:52Speaker 2: that's awesome information. Again, if you want to hear any

- 46:13Speaker 20: Hey, how's it o'hannah?
- 46:14Speaker 14: Heloha?
- 46:14Speaker 20: Friday and Holidays coming. Jimmy boiled egg hack for you.
- 46:19Speaker 20: Take the egg, hold it end up, take the back
- 46:23Speaker 20: of a spoon and lightly tap the top. You'll eventually
- 46:26Speaker 20: hear a small popping sound, but it won't.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Crack the shell.
- 46:29Speaker 20: It releases the air inside the egg that's in between
- 46:33Speaker 20: that thin layer on the shell. It's a fool proof
- 46:35Speaker 20: way to peel them. Sometimes it comes off in two peels.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Do it?
- 46:41Speaker 10: Aloha?
- 46:41Speaker 2: Hear that you gotta tap the top, Yeah.
- 46:44Speaker 6: Tap it til it pops.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Hey, Jimmy, wash the Dephte's cot.
- 46:50Speaker 2: I appreciate the recipe for the eggs, but let's get
- 46:52Speaker 2: the real business and give us the recipe for the
- 46:54Speaker 2: smoke turkey.
- 46:56Speaker 3: I think I want to try one of those this year.
- 46:58Speaker 13: Hook a brother up.
- 47:00Speaker 4: We can't thank you.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Appreciate all right, Jackets talking me into doing the devildegg recipe.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I'll put it up on the gym members page on
- 47:06Speaker 2: Facebook if you guys want to do that. I'll do
- 47:07Speaker 2: that before the end of the show today.
- 47:09Speaker 6: Which is cool because we've had some people text us
- 47:11Speaker 6: at seven seven zero three one asking for the recipe.
- 47:14Speaker 2: It's easy, I mean really to be honest with you
- 47:15Speaker 2: with anything food related. You know, the way I like
- 47:18Speaker 2: it to taste is going to be different maybe than
- 47:20Speaker 2: what you like. The base is what I'm giving you,
- 47:22Speaker 2: and then you can add things to it if you'd like.
- 47:23Speaker 2: I mean my eggs, I actually like a little cayenne
- 47:26Speaker 2: pepper along with the smoke paprika and a little bit
- 47:29Speaker 2: of garlic on top of mine. I also like a
- 47:31Speaker 2: little chopped shalette on top of mine, because I want
- 47:33Speaker 2: that onion flavor to be a little bigger than just chibes.
- 47:36Speaker 2: But this one is good everybody kind of likes it.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Like when we put them out, we had everybody eat
- 47:41Speaker 2: them and nobody said they were two anything, you know,
- 47:43Speaker 2: So I think it's a good base devildegg recipe.
- 47:45Speaker 5: So you'll be putting that up in gym members. That
- 47:48Speaker 5: is our Facebook group. It's a private group, but it's
- 47:51Speaker 5: you want to join. You're going to be approved until
- 47:54Speaker 5: you act the fool and then maybe you'll be shown
- 47:56Speaker 5: the door.
- 47:57Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't think you've had to kick
- 47:58Speaker 3: anyone out.
- 48:00Speaker 2: And by the way, when I give you the recipe,
- 48:02Speaker 2: understand that when I write recipes, these are like it's
- 48:05Speaker 2: gonna be the abouts and that's how I say things, right,
- 48:08Speaker 2: So I when I built those yesterday, I didn't measure
- 48:12Speaker 2: anything all right, so you know about what it needs.
- 48:15Speaker 2: When you put your yellows in the bowl and you
- 48:18Speaker 2: start mixing your your yolks up to build your your
- 48:22Speaker 2: the middle of your devil egg, you know you got
- 48:25Speaker 2: to mix them where it's nice and smooth. But you
- 48:26Speaker 2: know you only put them enough bannies in there as
- 48:28Speaker 2: you go, don't put too much up front, and that
- 48:30Speaker 2: way you can get your consistency right. Then you can
- 48:32Speaker 2: build your flavor.
- 48:33Speaker 6: The next time you make deviled eggs, I want you
- 48:35Speaker 6: to make them the way that you describe that you
- 48:37Speaker 6: like them, with the kayenne pepper and the shallote.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 2: My favorite ones are the Southwestern ones that I made
- 48:42Speaker 2: years ago for Primetime Kitchen that have little chopped pieces
- 48:45Speaker 2: of bell pepper, yellow, green and red because it looks
- 48:47Speaker 2: real good. And then one little sliver of chibe, not
- 48:50Speaker 2: cut up, just laid across the top with a little
- 48:52Speaker 2: that's that's delicious.
- 48:53Speaker 5: And speaking of Primetime Kitchen and our texting service, we
- 48:56Speaker 5: can't text you back. It's a one way service. We
- 48:59Speaker 5: see all your text we can text you back.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:01Speaker 5: So there's two texts I need to answer. No, Fayaz
- 49:04Speaker 5: Kara is not the voice of the five men to Professor,
- 49:07Speaker 5: and he is not the voice of the rat from Ratitude.
- 49:09Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, neither are true. That second one is
- 49:14Speaker 2: a famous comic, right is that? Pat I think is yeah, yeah, yeah, Ratitude.
- 49:20Speaker 3: That's a lot of voices.
- 49:21Speaker 2: All right, four oh seven I won six one o
- 49:23Speaker 2: four one text seven seven zero three one.
- 49:26Speaker 3: So I want to talk about this this step this
- 49:28Speaker 3: uh what.
- 49:28Speaker 6: What somebody texted saying I missed the kidnapping days.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Well, you know, we we may do it again. He
- 49:34Speaker 2: just looking to be honest with you.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Fias texted me the last time we did the kidnapp.
- 49:37Speaker 2: And he goes, he is, do we have to do
- 49:39Speaker 2: it to the thing. I think he thinks I'm serious.
- 49:42Speaker 2: I think he thinks I actually want to do these
- 49:44Speaker 2: things to him, and I do not. I adore him.
- 49:46Speaker 2: He's a good dude. So let's talk about this, this
- 49:49Speaker 2: cruise death, this young lady from Titusville. Yes, I you know,
- 49:54Speaker 2: obviously I've only read what the news has to offer.
- 49:57Speaker 2: But there is a I think there's a bigger, you
- 49:59Speaker 2: know question here. I mean you said earlier in your
- 50:02Speaker 2: newscast that they had a contentious relationship.
- 50:05Speaker 6: Well, actually that was that came from her former boyfriend,
- 50:08Speaker 6: Josh two, who had attended the memorial service last night
- 50:12Speaker 6: and then spoke to the spoke to the press, and
- 50:14Speaker 6: he was the one who said that. You know, she
- 50:16Speaker 6: had mentioned that she wasn't comfortable around him.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Right, right, right, So my question is this, like, Okay,
- 50:20Speaker 2: so this is going to be a tiny bit sensitive
- 50:22Speaker 2: for some people out there. Trust me, I'm not trying
- 50:24Speaker 2: to be controversial or have some super hot take. I'm
- 50:27Speaker 2: just talking about something that a lot of American families
- 50:30Speaker 2: deal with when it comes to having blended families. Right,
- 50:33Speaker 2: you know, you don't really you know, in some situations
- 50:35Speaker 2: depending on when the parents got together. I mean, you
- 50:38Speaker 2: could have a blended family that starts knowing each other
- 50:40Speaker 2: when both kids are in their teens, or you could
- 50:42Speaker 2: be like our family when we blended our family and
- 50:44Speaker 2: I adopted my wife's children. Our children, they were only
- 50:48Speaker 2: I think one was ten and one was seven or eight.
- 50:51Speaker 6: Well, what's interesting is that it appears that this family
- 50:54Speaker 6: was I mean quite literally newly blended. I don't know
- 50:56Speaker 6: how long they dated, but Anna Kepner's step and her
- 51:00Speaker 6: father just married in December of last year.
- 51:02Speaker 2: It's December twenty twenty four, right, And so you know,
- 51:06Speaker 2: my thing is this, right when you're when when your
- 51:09Speaker 2: blood brother and sister, I think there's a completely different
- 51:14Speaker 2: dynamic than when you are not a blood brother or sister.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Now I'll give you your blood, huh, because your blood. Yeah,
- 51:19Speaker 2: I'll give you an example. I mean, you know, if
- 51:23Speaker 2: I have a son and three daughters, I would And
- 51:27Speaker 2: again it's not because I don't trust anybody or anything
- 51:30Speaker 2: like that. I just don't think it's proper. I would
- 51:32Speaker 2: never make my son room with one of my daughters,
- 51:34Speaker 2: and that was any of those who don't know.
- 51:35Speaker 6: She shared her stateroom on the cruise with her sixteen
- 51:38Speaker 6: year old step brother.
- 51:39Speaker 2: And it would have nothing to do with my son.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Actually it would be about It would be because of
- 51:43Speaker 2: the modesty of my daughter. That's what I would not
- 51:45Speaker 2: want my daughter to have to be in a room
- 51:48Speaker 2: with her brother, stepbrother or whomever. Because young ladies, especially
- 51:52Speaker 2: when you're sixteen, seventeen, eighteen years old, you need a
- 51:55Speaker 2: certain level of privacy that is deserved to you. And
- 51:58Speaker 2: I don't think you should be sharing the room room
- 52:00Speaker 2: with a puberty level boy that you don't really know
- 52:03Speaker 2: that you've been around now for what four or five months,
- 52:06Speaker 2: eight months, whatever the case may be. I think that
- 52:09Speaker 2: was I mean, and again, I don't know the makeup
- 52:10Speaker 2: of this family. I don't know this kid, and he
- 52:13Speaker 2: is just a suspect. But for me, I don't understand
- 52:17Speaker 2: the idea of putting them in a room together. I mean,
- 52:19Speaker 2: I understand money wise, for sure, but man, at some point,
- 52:23Speaker 2: you gotta look beyond that. I mean, I think this
- 52:25Speaker 2: young lady deserved to have space on her own and
- 52:28Speaker 2: not even have to worry about a situation like this.
- 52:31Speaker 6: That was my first thought when I when I read
- 52:33Speaker 6: that she and her stepbrother shared a stateroom, I thought, oh,
- 52:37Speaker 6: that's not good. Yeah, from putting on your pajamas to
- 52:40Speaker 6: waking up.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Just right, yeah, just after certain age. Yes, it should
- 52:45Speaker 5: not be co ed. Yeah.
- 52:46Speaker 3: I even blood relatives.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Yeah exactly. But but and again with the blood relative thing,
- 52:52Speaker 2: it's because of the familiarity. I mean, you know that person,
- 52:55Speaker 2: You've you've grown up with them, You've known them since
- 52:57Speaker 2: they were breathing. You know, there's a different vibe there.
- 53:01Speaker 2: You know when you when you gain a sister or
- 53:04Speaker 2: brother when you're fifteen or sixteen years old, and those
- 53:07Speaker 2: people are fifteen or sixteen years old and there's no
- 53:09Speaker 2: blood involved. I mean not saying that everything always happens
- 53:13Speaker 2: like that, but I mean you're still a boy and
- 53:15Speaker 2: a girl. You are not related by blood and the
- 53:20Speaker 2: same room, sleeping in the same room. You don't know,
- 53:23Speaker 2: you don't know, I mean, you don't know, you don't
- 53:24Speaker 2: have that barrier of being blood family. Does that sound
- 53:29Speaker 2: Does that sound bad? Not at all? Both of us agree. Yeah, Yeah,
- 53:33Speaker 2: I mean, I just you don't have that, And I know
- 53:35Speaker 2: it comes off when you think it to yourself, you're like, God,
- 53:38Speaker 2: that sounds terrible that you couldn't trust somebody like that.
- 53:40Speaker 2: But teenagers are teenagers.
- 53:45Speaker 3: I just find that very bizarre.
- 53:47Speaker 2: I just find it bizarre that they would allow that
- 53:49Speaker 2: young lady to stay in that room h and not
- 53:52Speaker 2: knowing them and not giving her her privacy. And I
- 53:55Speaker 2: just think that's really bizarre. And I mean, obviously from
- 53:58Speaker 2: the news reports, we hear that this family situation isn't
- 54:01Speaker 2: the greatest. There are tangents and things happening in this
- 54:04Speaker 2: family that are bananas. But we also know that a
- 54:06Speaker 2: lot of families have, you know, interesting setups that some
- 54:09Speaker 2: don't get along, some do get along. Blended families are
- 54:11Speaker 2: very difficult to manage to begin with. Yeah, but this
- 54:14Speaker 2: one hit me odd when I heard this story because
- 54:18Speaker 2: of the nature of how they were roomed together at
- 54:20Speaker 2: that age.
- 54:20Speaker 3: I found that at a little unique.
- 54:22Speaker 6: And what's interesting is that, at least the local press,
- 54:25Speaker 6: a lot of what they were able to learn in
- 54:27Speaker 6: the first couple of days this week really came from
- 54:30Speaker 6: the child custody hearing between the mother and the father
- 54:34Speaker 6: of Anna Kepner, because they're still embroiled in a child
- 54:37Speaker 6: custody dispute.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Right right, er, go ahead, I'm sorry. No, I was
- 54:40Speaker 2: just going to say as well.
- 54:41Speaker 6: The sixteen year old also, it was reported yesterday that
- 54:44Speaker 6: he was hospitalized quote immediately after the incident end quote,
- 54:48Speaker 6: but they didn't say what for. He's also living with
- 54:51Speaker 6: an uncle, and that was made out of a decision
- 54:55Speaker 6: to protect his younger sibling, who I believe is only eight,
- 54:58Speaker 6: as well as his stepfather's other children as well.
- 55:00Speaker 2: So he is known to have behavioral issues enough so
- 55:04Speaker 2: that they would ship him off to another family member
- 55:06Speaker 2: to keep him away from certain family members.
- 55:07Speaker 6: No, no, no, that was that was the That was the judge's decision.
- 55:10Speaker 6: That was like, yeah, that was the law part of it.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's it's somebody said that her biological brother
- 55:18Speaker 2: was in the room as well. That I don't know. Yeah,
- 55:21Speaker 2: I don't know that you can do that though, I mean,
- 55:22Speaker 2: I mean I don't think that. I think that when
- 55:24Speaker 2: you get a cruise, I mean that's you know, unless
- 55:26Speaker 2: you pay it's like you know, double occupancy.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Well, I think you can.
- 55:30Speaker 5: I think they have rooms where it's either four or
- 55:32Speaker 5: three people, like it'll be bunk beds on one.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Side, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. We did
- 55:37Speaker 3: that years. Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 55:39Speaker 2: I've done that as well. Yeah, yeah, you're right, one
- 55:40Speaker 2: hundred percent. Yeah. And the rooms are tiny. It's it
- 55:43Speaker 2: is the bed, it's a desk. Matter of fact, you
- 55:44Speaker 2: have to stand, you have to sit in your bed
- 55:46Speaker 2: while other people are getting ready. Yes, really, oh yeah,
- 55:49Speaker 2: it's that. It's like it's like a submarine. Yeah. In
- 55:52Speaker 2: the in the in the rooms that are down below,
- 55:54Speaker 2: like the the you know, the rooms that are very inexpensive,
- 55:57Speaker 2: there are rooms that sleep for people.
- 55:58Speaker 3: When you walk in, it is not as big as
- 56:00Speaker 3: this room. It's half the size of this room.
- 56:02Speaker 2: That includes the bathroom, the area where you're getting dressed,
- 56:04Speaker 2: where you keep your clothes, and your bed. Well, it
- 56:07Speaker 2: is literally a you walk in, it's a shoot all
- 56:09Speaker 2: the way down to like a nightstand, and then two
- 56:11Speaker 2: beds off to the side, like almost like a summer cabin. Yep,
- 56:14Speaker 2: is what it's like. So that when I remember when
- 56:17Speaker 2: I did it, when you when you you had to
- 56:18Speaker 2: warn people you were getting up. You had to tell people, hey,
- 56:21Speaker 2: you're gonna sit there, or you would have to go
- 56:23Speaker 2: outside and other people would get dressed.
- 56:24Speaker 6: So again, the cause of death has been released for
- 56:27Speaker 6: Anna Kaepner asphyxiation from a chokehole. Yeah, which again she
- 56:33Speaker 6: mentioned earlier.
- 56:34Speaker 2: She had bruises on the side of her neck, but
- 56:36Speaker 2: no drugs or alcohol in her system and no sexual assault.
- 56:39Speaker 3: No sexual assault.
- 56:41Speaker 2: So was it a fight?
- 56:43Speaker 7: Was it?
- 56:46Speaker 2: There's so many questions.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, because the guy's right.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Because didn't the brother, the other biological brother, slept on
- 56:52Speaker 2: the bed that she was stuffed under, right, Oh.
- 56:55Speaker 5: Exactly the case. I thought he shot. I heard the
- 56:58Speaker 5: brother slept on the bed that she was under.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why this this story is so crazy because
- 57:03Speaker 2: there's so many moving parts. But I thought I read
- 57:05Speaker 2: this morning that because the texture just said there was
- 57:08Speaker 2: another the other biological brother was in there, And I
- 57:11Speaker 2: read this morning that the brother, the younger brother, I guess,
- 57:14Speaker 2: slept on the bed that she was stuffed under unknowingly.
- 57:18Speaker 2: But I don't know if that's true. I mean that
- 57:20Speaker 2: probably shouldn't harm him long term.
- 57:22Speaker 6: Yeah, a lot of texts are coming in seven seven
- 57:25Speaker 6: zero three one. Apparently he had a history of severe
- 57:28Speaker 6: mental illness. His mother did allude to during one of
- 57:33Speaker 6: the custody hearings this week that he has a psychiatrist
- 57:36Speaker 6: appointment next month. But then the judge kind of you know, admonished,
- 57:40Speaker 6: don't say anything more without first getting the Council of
- 57:42Speaker 6: your return.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Right right, right, Yeah, information, because now it's a totally
- 57:45Speaker 2: different machine altogether. Yeah, and yeah, I mean we have
- 57:49Speaker 2: you know, obviously we broadcast to that area. I wonder
- 57:51Speaker 2: if anybody in our listening audience knew her or her family.
- 57:55Speaker 2: I mean, it's just right there in Titusville. It's not
- 57:57Speaker 2: even far from where we are right now.
- 57:58Speaker 6: And it has of course becoming national story ever news
- 58:02Speaker 6: you everywhere. They were all there live last night outside
- 58:07Speaker 6: of the Grove Church in Titusville for her celebration of
- 58:09Speaker 6: life service, where hundreds of people turned out.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 58:13Speaker 6: She apparently was a was a much loved young lady
- 58:16Speaker 6: getting ready to graduate in May.
- 58:20Speaker 2: And then but you know what, man, I gotta tell you,
- 58:22Speaker 2: and again this is just this is just me opeculation.
- 58:25Speaker 2: This is opening We were speculating here, right. But you know,
- 58:28Speaker 2: if a kid has, you know, an anger issue like that,
- 58:31Speaker 2: and he's so much I mean.
- 58:33Speaker 6: Just any kind of behavioral and mental health.
- 58:35Speaker 2: I mean, even if there was no alcohol or drugs involved,
- 58:37Speaker 2: I mean, it could have just been an argument that
- 58:40Speaker 2: got out of hand. I mean, but you would think
- 58:42Speaker 2: also that somebody would hear it, because I gotta tell
- 58:43Speaker 2: you something.
- 58:44Speaker 3: The one drag about a cruise ship is this.
- 58:47Speaker 2: You know, you can hear through those walls a little bit,
- 58:50Speaker 2: and by a little bit, I mean you can hear
- 58:51Speaker 2: through those walls. So I couldn't imagine, I mean, you know,
- 58:55Speaker 2: a big fight, because does it say anything about her
- 58:57Speaker 2: having defense marks and scratches or any like that.
- 59:00Speaker 6: I haven't heard anything about that. But again, if she
- 59:03Speaker 6: was put in a choke hold, she wouldn't be able
- 59:05Speaker 6: to call for help.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, no question. But I mean you you usually flail.
- 59:09Speaker 2: She was an athlete because she was a cheerleader. You
- 59:11Speaker 2: do have to be in pretty good shape. So she
- 59:13Speaker 2: wasn't like a weakling. I mean she looked very healthy. Yeah,
- 59:16Speaker 2: So I don't know, I don't know that. There are
- 59:18Speaker 2: a lot of questions here, so many questions.
- 59:20Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, and you can imagine, I mean they're basically
- 59:24Speaker 6: you know, her her dad and stepmom were basically still newlyweds. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:28Speaker 6: having just been married in December twenty twenty four.
- 59:31Speaker 2: Yeah, she was rooming with her biological brother as well
- 59:33Speaker 2: as he slept on the top bed.
- 59:35Speaker 3: They say he had a history of severe mental illness and.
- 59:38Speaker 6: That he was Baker acted right off the boat. So
- 59:40Speaker 6: that could have been what he was hospitalized for.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because you have to when you to get Baker
- 59:45Speaker 2: acted in this state. I believe you have to pose
- 59:48Speaker 2: a threat to yourself or others, all right, and you
- 59:51Speaker 2: have to verbalize that, correct.
- 59:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I think you have to say I'm going to kill
- 59:55Speaker 2: myself or I'm going to kill somebody else. I believe
- 59:57Speaker 2: you have to say something like that, or I'm going
- 59:59Speaker 2: to harms somebody or run somebody over or do whatever.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: That would do it. I think that's how you get
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Baker acted.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: So if he was exhibiting behavior and the FBI is
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: investigating this, that's all the more reason.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Right. Wow, man, what a drag me Obviously, our our
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: thoughts got to the family over there.
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: To everybody involved. What a tragic case. What a way
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: to rip apart of an entire family.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Says here, this guy who listens to us all the
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: time said that my friends work with the grandmother over there.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: But man, I gotta tell you, like I said yesterday,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: when I read this story, it was very difficult to
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: even kind of follow along how that family's put together
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: and who's where and who's what, and who's doing what
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: and who's not doing what. It read like a puzzle. Well,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: somebody else, just one.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: Of those math It read like one of those old
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: math questions.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Problem.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: Yeah, man, that supposedly the stepbrother was obsessed with her too.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Oh really well, and again you know her, her former
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: boyfriend or ex boyfriend last night at the celebration of
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: life said that, you know she she made no secret
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: of the fact that she was not comfortable to around him,
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: exactly right.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: And his dad, so the ex boyfriend's dad, I guess
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: was on inside edition yep, And I said his son
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: told him that she was afraid of the brother. He
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: often carried a knife and one time during a FaceTime call,
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: he like hopped on her on uh while while she
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: was in bed on a FaceTime call with the boyfriend
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: at the brother the stepbrother hopped.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: On her on bed.
- 1:01:24Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: Yeah, And I gotta tell you, I had a little
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: bit of a situation like this when you know my
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: my very first girlfriend had a brother that had had
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: and they were both adopted, and he was he was
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: a nightmare, and I remember being in fear for her
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: around him because he was so agro and one of
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: these kind of douchey agro guys, like he'd walk by
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: and just poppy in the back of the head and
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: do stuff like that, just an antagonist you're trying to
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: kind of get you into some type of confrontation. And
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: he did it perpetually, and he eventually had to go away.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: I mean, that dude eventually. I don't know what he's
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: doing now, but eventually he spent some time in a
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Juby network and you know, I gotta tell you, I
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: think that whole family was scared of him. I couldn't
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: imagine being like that, Like, you know, being in a
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: situation in a family where you know everybody in the
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: house is horrified because of somebody in it. And they're
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: young and they're underage, so they can't be charged as
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: an adult. You can't really do anything. You can't throw
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: them out because they're sixteen.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: Right exactly, yeah, and they're full of hormones right age.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: And if they're two, I mean, you know, people say, well,
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: send them to an academy. You're sending them man, Man,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: if you're too blanked up. I mean some of those
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: places won't even take you like that. I mean some
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: military academies won't take you. I mean, we have one
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: up there in Putnam County called Road Heavers Boys Ranch,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: and they send kids there and they snatch it out
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: of them up there. They just they just work it
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: out of you. They just work it to the point
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: where you don't want to be a criminal anymore. All right,
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: four oh seven nine four one text us at seven
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: seven zero three one back in one second with more
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: of the Jim Colbert shows.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: They right, Ali kids, Hello.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: Hope everybody's having a good day. We are referring to starlink.
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: It is very popular in the RV community.
- 1:03:15Speaker 11: Because of its portability and also I do believe the
- 1:03:19Speaker 11: T mobile commercials with Billy Bob Thornton, where you know
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: he doesn't know where he is, but he still got service.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: They have a contract with starlink.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I believe, Oh.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: Cool to get you service where there is none.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: Have a good name.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Tell you buddy, appreciate that. Yeah, we did get a
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: lot of text about the RV community loving the starlink.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I know that my in laws are part of that
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: RV world and they were looking for something to guarantee
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: internet connection because she was thinking about working on the road.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I don't know that's the plan anymore, but well.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: They also said Texter actually at seven seven zero three one,
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: that all the cruise ships use it as well.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Yeah it's good too.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I mean we were on the Celebrity Beyond and I
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: believe they were using star linking. Man we were. It was.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: It was perfectly fine.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: It came with our cabin so it was haul and
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: ass no problems whatsoever.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: Cool, great, all right, welcome back. I'm Jim. There's deb
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: hell check is here as well.
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: Yeah, oh another good thing, warm up.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it was much better.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: We have to remember that.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: That's how folks in North Carolina were able to get
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: internet service after the storms wiped them out.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Also in Ukraine, yeah right in Ukraine.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, because wasn't there a thread at one point?
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: You shut that down?
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, interesting, we're surviving on this.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: What if there was a restaurant to make a comeback
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: for you guys, what would it be? A restaurant that
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: you enjoyed that kind of went away to make a comeback.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: What it would be the Rustler steak the Rustler steakhouse.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: And that's only a nostalgic fact.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: A Rustler steakhouse, you know, the buffet style steakhout.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: I've got one of those two.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: I mean, you know, when I worked when I first
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: moved to Land, right before I was I say, first
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: moved in eighty five, I worked at a print shop
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: down on Herndon Avenue, down by the airport, and there
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: was a Quincy's down there, and uh, that was like
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: the very first thing we decided. When I would get
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: to work, It's like, hey, we're going to eat Quincy's
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: to day for lunch. And we'd go over there and
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: crush Quincy's. And of course they had the big hot East,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: big fat, big fat yeast rolls, right, and they turned
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: that thing into a buffet. Love that Quincy's long gone.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Don't really want them to come back. They don't need
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: to come back. But Miami Subs. Miami Subs is good
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: when you know they actually are making it a little
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: bit of a comeback. I hope so because they used
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: to have some really good food. Dude, I have to
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: tell you, Miami Subs what they did that nobody talked about.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: They had great euros.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: I was just thinking about that they had the best
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: euro They had good ass chicken wings and good spicy fries.
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: No.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: I remember when they came in. We actually printed printed
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: for them when they first came to Orlando, and I
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: think they over I think they over extended in town.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: They came in instead of opening up one or two
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: locations to see how it would do. I believe they
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: just came in hot with like maybe five or six
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: of them, and it just could not maintain.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: And they had good burgers. Actually, they had damn good everything.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: They really did. They were a really good restaurant. And
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: then for like Jack the nostalgia factor, the village in
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: where the French soap high, the Village Inn which had
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: still was open. It was kind of hanging in there
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: down by Sea World. And then when I went to
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: i APPA the other day, I was like, Oh, what was.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: That other one? That buffet thing that we talked about
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: a little bit, Crispers. No, Chrispas was good, though. I
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: like the salad buffet thing. My family and I used
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: to kill the Crispers thing. We loved that till COVID
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: killed them.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, covid did just shoot him right in the face.
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: Well, I remember there's the Ponderosa which we used to
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: eat out as a kid, right.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: And I have this bring this up for a reason.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: But what was the what was the place where you'd
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: go on Sundays like Grandma's and grandpa Holiday House. Oh,
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: that's still open.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: I think there's only one.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Though, I think that is still worth going there. Dude, Yeah,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: the one in Orlando over here on Lee Road for
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: the longest.
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: Time, Texas, says Calico Jacksky.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: I can't believe that one didn't occur to me. Manager.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Well, yeah, yeah. They also said Piccadilly Cafeteria. Yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: And I used to go to Piccadilly as well, because
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: they had a Piccadilly in the in the Colonial Mall
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: okay or Fashion Square Mall for the longest time.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: And that was another They had Ruby Tuesdays in there
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: as well.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Yep. The reason I bring this up is there's a
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: there's a restaurant making a comeback and it's actually it
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: was a restaurant made famous from a very famous urban movie.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: I think that's the way to say it. Uh what Burger, No,
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: you gotta take me to White Castle.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: If you're going, if you're doing, if you're being fancy
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: back in the day, you got to take me too.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Western sizzler, Western cisls, Western sisslers coming back, guys, that's
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: not too far off from rustlers sneak. You're right when
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: you said wrestlers. I was like, he nailed It's They
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: don't even call it Western sizzler anymore.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: It's a sizzler.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: But back in the day, if you're going to get
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: a steak at one of these places, now, I think
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: they've been taking over by like your outbacks, yep horns
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: and Texas Roadhouses, which we have when coming to our
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: our set of town. Yeah, it's the number one steakhouse.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: What's the number one casual restaurant? I remember it just
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: it just took out Olive Guard that held that for
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: years and just this year. And I will tell you
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: one thousand percent. I get behind that one hundred percent.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: I love a good expensive steak, but I have learned
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: with eating beef that man, it's you. If you can
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: get that malleard in effect, that real nice crust on
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: the outside, it almost kind of doesn't matter.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: And Texas Roadhouse does a damn good job.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: I will tell you I would probably pass on going
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: to a really nice restaurant once if I could go
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: there two or three times, because you could for the money,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: because the dam it's great.
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: You need You don't want to spend one hundred and
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: fifty dollars on a steak that you may or may
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: not tell you or eighty five.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: I don't need to do that at all. I've had
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: really expensive, nice steaks in my life. But to be
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: honest with you, the experiences I've had at Texas Roadhouse
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: were damn near as good as anything I had at
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: one of those exceptional places. And I don't feel so
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: guilty leaving yea, but man, it's good. But uh, Sizzler
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: coming back? Sizzler, y'all, let's y'all. I don't know if
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: they're going to have the show from there.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I would do that in a second.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Dude, I crust some Sizzlers. Oh good?
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: And Texters are letting me know that there's a village
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: in still open in Saint Cloud?
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Is there really?
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: Yep?
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Yep? I looked up Miami subs.
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: There was about thirty, with like one in Vegas and
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: the rest are like all in South Florida.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: It's all South Florida.
- 1:09:22Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the big thing when they came up,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Like everybody's like, oh man, this is gonna be like
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: you know, it was really a precursor to like t
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: Wana Flats, right, you know what they were doing, and
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: we thought it was going to take over and I
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: don't know, I really did for a hot minute. I
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: don't even know what happened. It's the same people that
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: owned Burger King, I believe, isn't it. I think it's
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: the same ownership that has all those Burger King franchises
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: here in Florida. That's what I thought it was. Yeah,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: which doesn't make sense because they made everything. It was
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Miami subs, but they made you know, like I said, euros.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: They had chicken wings, they had burgers.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: I of love for chee cheese.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Yeah, chee cheese is back though. And also there's a
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: village in in Titusville?
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Is there really? According to a couple of Texters, the
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: only thing I do over in Titusville when I go
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: eat is the rock Shrimp Place. What's that place called?
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Where you go there and get the rock shrimp. They
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: actually invented the machine to cut those things open because
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: that the shell was so hard and they're so small.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: When they first got them, I think they just fed
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: them to cows or fed them to they fed them
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: to livestock or something. Because this is a little shrimp.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: You couldn't get in them. Then somebody designed a machine
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: that you run through, run them through and it splits
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: the back of that really tough shell open, and the
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: meat's like lobster. Oh wow, what is it called, dude?
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: Well, you know our texting service will weigh in.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: It's cross.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: Oh that place is always slammed, always slam You.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: Go over there and you get a tray of those
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: like little corn muffins that are covered in sugar, like
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: the powdered sugar. Get the blank out of my face.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: And you know it's a real Southern restaurant. And I'll
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: tell you if you I'll give you get heads up.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: I give you guys tips all the time. I'll give
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: you a great tip if you want to know that
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: if you're a real good Southern restaurant, order a side
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: salad with the ranch tra And here's why. You'll get
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: a side salad and then you will get a dump
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: truck load full of French tressing. They want three tablespoons
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: per whatever you're eating in that salad.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: It is like they give you as much ram dress
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: as you need. Oh, everyone's chiming in with Dixie Crossroads.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: And someone says they're taking their mom there this Sunday
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: for her birthday.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: I got to tell you birthday, mom. We had the
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: birthday the last time we went there. They were proud
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: of the shrimp. Yeah, oh man, we couldn't leave how
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: expensive it was. We get up there in like a
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: tray of them, like a couple dozen of them, like
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: thirty five dollars or something. I do like this one.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Bring back friendlies, yeah, friendliest. Oh yeah, I had a
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: good ice cream too. They never got any credit for that.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Steak and Ale came up a little bit. That was
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: a few people were coming in on to stake. But
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: I think I think all of these brands morph into
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: something else where. Steak and L is now, you know,
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: like Longhorns or whatever. But Steak and Al was good.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: They also had that cold salad bar. Remember it was
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: one of the few salad bars that had that cold
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: thing under. So when you when you grabbed anything from
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: the salad bar and your plates were frozen, the thing
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: where you'd picked your plate up and your plate was
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: cold because it was a salad. Anyway, Sizzler coming back,
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: good good times, Yeah good man, sayslave all right for
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: us seven nine one six one four one text us
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: seven seven zero three one back in one second with
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: more of the Jim Colberg Show.
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: Hey, j C.
- 1:12:18Speaker 9: Screw what's going on? This is Ray Mellow heading home.
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: Started a long thanksgiving great oh yeah, buddy, teaching and everything.
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: You guys are bringing me back that I wish Bennigan's
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: would come back. I remember going there in the two thousands.
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: I did the Big Irish competition where it was like
- 1:12:34Speaker 9: a massive burger with three beef patties and if you
- 1:12:37Speaker 9: ate that you had to eat a brownie with ice
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: cream to get a free T shirt. And I also
- 1:12:42Speaker 9: remember the mounting crystal sandwich.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: One love piece, one love brother, Thank you.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: Hey haws thatdcy cross raise a still proud of their shrimp.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: My buddy said he was there. I think two months
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: ago they were doing there two.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Dollars a piece for the rock trimp.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Yeah man, all right, y'all have a good with thanks brother,
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: appreciate it.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Hey guys, Charles and Melbourne. It's Dixie Crossroads. Thanks, Boss,
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: appreciate it.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we were a little shocked.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: When went over the last time. I because my father
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: in law, I mean.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: He can eat like my man gets loose and that's
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: one of his favorite places. So you know, somebody would
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: get crab legs, and somebody would get the rock trip
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: and then the rock trimber, expensive of the crab legs,
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: and we're like, what happened in these things? These little
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: ass shrimp they melt in your mouth. They're delicious, they do.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: They taste like lobster. But man, they I remember last
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: time we went, it was so damn expensive. Uh man,
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: so good. All right, Welcome back to the Jim Corburn Show.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: I'm on Real Radio one O four point one. I'm Jim.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: There's deb Jack's here as well. Hi there, Jack. Have
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: you walked out into the building today?
- 1:13:42Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: Not say would you? Would you like to be the
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: only person in the building?
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: Oh? You just walk right outside that door, okay, and
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: you will be the only person in the building. There
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: is nobody here, dude. We got a sports crew over there, right. No,
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: I think they're gone too. Oh well, hopefully they'll be
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: there it'll sick. Yeah, But I mean there's nobody in
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: the sales pit.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: There's nobody anywhere. I know that. A lot of the
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: people that we work with, you know, they're taking the
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: entire week off.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Next week. We're working two days, yeah, which is kind
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: of new for us. We actually used to take the
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: entire week off.
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: We did that one time and then we stopped doing it.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: I used to take the entire week off.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: Oh okay, yeah, yeah, it's the last week of our
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: ratings book.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, got to do that for sure. But yeah,
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: it's dead out there, man. I know a lot of
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: the people here in the building are traveling. They starting
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: this week. And actually, our big boss, Judy, we were
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: talking to her yesterday during the Friendsgiving and I was
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: she was sitting next to me, and I asked her
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: if she was she's from Utah, if she was going
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: back home for Thanksgiving. He shas, yes, I'm leaving tomorrow night.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: So she's flying out tonight. It looks like everybody else
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: in the building is also going with her.
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm sure everyone she's gotten tonight.
- 1:14:50Speaker 19: Everybody does that, right, bosses out We're out of here exactly,
- 1:14:54Speaker 19: And I.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Don't think do you have to Does anybody clock in anymore?
- 1:14:57Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but it's on her.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: It's a computer, now, right, I mean obviously there's isn't
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: the old clock machine anymore?
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: No, but it is. You do swipe in when you
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: get them come in the building.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: Try try letting a salesperson in with your phone next time.
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: Oh really, yeah, because they that's how they're tracked how
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: often they come into the office.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Oh really, They don't want.
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: You using your phone to open the door because they
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: want to be logged in as being in the building.
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: Ah.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: I did not know that clever. And the whole time
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: they thought we thought they were just trying to make
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: it easier. They're trying to keep their eye on us.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: But I guess it did the same thing with the
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: past before, right, I mean obviously you know who's entered
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: leaving the building.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Yep, yeah, all right? Four seven nine one six four one.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: So we talked about the Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: making some suggestions for travel this year. That's going to
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: be good.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: You have you not heard this?
- 1:15:48Speaker 15: No?
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: Oh, I cannot believe you haven't heard this. Like the
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: mayor of Elveto it said, ride a bike. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: that's not that Uh. It is interesting though.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: So you know, when you hear, you know, this Secretary
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: of Transportation talking about, you know, traveling and how you
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: should do it, I expected like you guys are saying
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: some type of maybe a technical you know, how to something.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: You know, Here's how you book your flight a little better,
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Here's how you avoid this, here's how you get the
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: maximum gas milage or something like that. No, that's not
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: where he was going. He wants you to travel and
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: dress with respect when you fly on an airplane in America.
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: I love that idea. So leave your pajamas at home.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: He said. And I have to tell you I don't
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: agree with much out of the cabinet, but I will tell
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: you I like when he said it, and I'm like,
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: this is not going to hit great in America. It's
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: not gonna hit not going to hit great with a
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: lot of our youth, that's for sure. But I will
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: tell you I as I get a little older, and
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: it's not because of the clothing. It's what it represents
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: when I see kids in pajama pants and slides and
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: hoodies in the middle of the day or going to
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: their business. I was just like, man, nobody takes you seriously.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: That's the thing that gets me crazy about it. I
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: was like, do you realize that when you dress like that,
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: nobody takes you seriously, you are a person of zero consequence. Like,
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: that's what happens with you. When you dress like that
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: and you show people you don't give an f. That's
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: exactly how you're gonna get treated. People aren't going into
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: given f.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: A lot of people are saying that that's when air
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: travel became this cantankerous experience. Was when people stopped dressing
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: to fly.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's like a yeah, like a discount cruise.
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: But also what change was more scrutiny through security and
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: check in, right, and some people dress to accommodate that.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: Some people will go with the slip on choose like
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: slides or something, or you know where it's easier to
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: just kick things off and to get through security easier.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that doesn't explain that in the mall, I mean,
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: or out and around you know where you're just wearing
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: or you're wearing those clothes out and around on a
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: shopping day.
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: I mean, I'll still dress nice, but I'll accommodate the
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: fact that you know, thankfully we don't have to take
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: our shoes off anymore, so that can change what kind
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: of shoes you wear. I'll still do that, but I
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: still want to look like I could get off the
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: plane and go to a restaurant and not be asked
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: to leave to put on proper price.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: I just remember.
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: The travel tip is you wear your heaviest shoes instead of.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Carrying them around.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yea.
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: Of the shoes you have the heaviest beair is the
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: ones you wear because it's easier than very smart.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Your luggage, that's very smart. That is smart because you
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: know what you're paying for. Weight. Yeah, it says here,
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: dressed with respect, Help elderly people lift their bags, keep
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: your kids under control, say please and thank you, especially
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: to flight attendants. These are just some of the things
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: the Department of Transportation is urging air travelers as we
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: head into what's expected to be a record setting holiday
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: travel season. The Department launched this new civility campaign on Thursday.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: I like it, saying they hope it restores courtesy and
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: class to air travel, and I absolutely love it. He says. Quote,
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: there's no question that we've lost sight of what makes
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: sure travel fun, the excitement and relaxation, cordial conversations, all
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: of that. And and I do agree with this. Look,
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: I don't know that it even sounds all fuddy duddy
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: that you don't get the okay boomer thing just because
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: you want people to dress with respect and treat each
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: other respectfully.
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: Well, if you want me to have any to listen
- 1:19:19Speaker 6: to your okay boomer, then don't do it in pajama pants,
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: it says.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: The DOTS message comes at a time when out of
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: control passenger behavior is much more common than it was
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: just a decade ago. Oh yeah, there were how many
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: separate incidents involving unruly passengers just last year?
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: How many?
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: Eight hundred and seventy nine? It's way higher.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, twenty one hundred. Okay, that's double the number
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: in twenty nineteen. They double the number in twenty nineteen.
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: Remember it was after the pandemic, when things open up.
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: People lost their mind, they went on air travel and
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: in restaurant.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Funny Jack, exactly the year you said, in twenty twenty one,
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: they had almost six thousand of these unruly passenger events
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: that year after you know, COVID because twenty twenty was
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: the COVID year.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: It took us about what about a year eighteen months
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: to get out of that.
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: Yeah, and then it started opening up in twenty twenty
- 1:20:18Speaker 5: one vaccines and then people started flying yep. But then
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: people just lost their mf and minds.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: It says.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: It has calmed down considerably over the last few years.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: But like Jack said, in the wake of COVID nineteen,
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: there were just people who are just you know, just
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: basically pent up, and they got out of their cage
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: and they went to the bar and then they took
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: that bar right onto the plane.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: Yeah, they did, it, says uh. Yeah, it says that.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: And what they simply want is they would like people
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: just kind of be more respectful when you're in those
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: confined areas, dressed respectfully, you know, just kind of show
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: some respect, I guess, you know, just some decorum would
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: be nice. Be conscientious.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: It's his fines against unruly passengers by year in twenty
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: twenty two. How many fines in money was levied in
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: twenty twenty two to unruly passengers And let me give
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: you an example. In twenty seventeen, it was one hundred
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: thousand dollars.
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: Oh no, it's gonna be a couple million, okay.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: In twenty seventeen it was one hundred thousand. In twenty eighteen,
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: it was three hundred thousand. In twenty nineteen it was
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: seven hundred thousand. It actually went down in twenty twenty
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: and then because post COVID yah, things went a little awry.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: A million and a half in twenty twenty two. What
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: do you think, you say, a million and a half, yeah,
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: a little less one point two million, eight point four million.
- 1:21:39Speaker 16: Oh.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: The next year in twenty twenty three, it was seven
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: point five. In twenty twenty one it was five. So
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: if you took all the years but like literally decades
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: before this and added them all up, you wouldn't even
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: equal twenty twenty two.
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: And it keeps going.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: It's in the millions from twenty twenty one on five
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: eight point four seven, one point five, three point two
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: and two point two to current day. Oh well, that's good.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: At least we're trending lower.
- 1:22:05Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: Now, let's hope twenty twenty one was the peak and
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: now we're all just kind of.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: Dude says, it's not your imagination.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Traveling has become way more uncivilized, as if you need
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: to know that. People texting say, hey, if I'm going
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: to be on a long flight, I deserve.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: To be comfortable.
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: We'll be comfortable. You can't be comfortable in a nice
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: loose T shirt and jeans that look okay and shoes
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: that look okay and then maybe a sweater. You've got
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: to wear pajama pants and slides, no shorts. It looked
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: like a gaming professional. That one sounded boomer That one
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: sounded a little that sounded a little age appropriate. That
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: last one, all right, four our seven nine one sake
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: for one. You can always text us at seven to
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: seven zero three to one. I've got an argument for
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: the ages. Next, the Grady Judd had a press conference
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: this past week and he made it comment about somebody
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: that they arrested. And I always thought it was a
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: different way to say this.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: Help me figure this out, we'll do it.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Next s.
- 1:23:17Speaker 12: Cotton shirt because they have a certain level of flame resistance,
- 1:23:21Speaker 12: whereas if you wear stuff made of polyester, polyester melts
- 1:23:25Speaker 12: into your skin if.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: There's a fire.
- 1:23:27Speaker 12: Yeah, period, all right, it's a safety thing. Wearing normal
- 1:23:30Speaker 12: shoes and socks and jeans and a cotton shirt protects
- 1:23:37Speaker 12: you versus wearing slides where you have to go barefoot,
- 1:23:39Speaker 12: maybe over broken glass, or you don't get through something
- 1:23:43Speaker 12: that's burning.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: Period.
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: What's up Colvert show?
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: Dude.
- 1:23:47Speaker 13: You know, I'm okay with a teenager dressing like that
- 1:23:51Speaker 13: on an airplane.
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: I mean, that's okay. I don't mind that.
- 1:23:54Speaker 13: But when I see a thirty or forty year old
- 1:23:58Speaker 13: wearing pajama pants and slides it's on an airplane, I'm
- 1:24:01Speaker 13: kind of like, I'm really turned.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Off by that.
- 1:24:03Speaker 13: It turns out I also I'm turned off by that
- 1:24:06Speaker 13: in public in general. When I'm at Walmart and I
- 1:24:09Speaker 13: look up and there's some girl that's got stains all over.
- 1:24:12Speaker 13: But I'm like, what the hell, man, you don't look
- 1:24:15Speaker 13: in the mirror.
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: I think the same thing.
- 1:24:18Speaker 14: Sometime.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: It's like, did you not think you're going to be
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: seen today?
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:24:22Speaker 14: All right?
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Jim Golber Show Real Radio one
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: oh four point one. I'm Jimnior's dib. Hello Jack is
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: here as well. Yeah, Jack said with a caller that
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: works at the airport and has some comments on the
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: on the dress of said airport travelers.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: Jack, is that what we're doing here and that's it
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: all right.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: John, How you doing, buddy, Welcome to the program.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Thanks for the call.
- 1:24:41Speaker 14: Yes, let's go with John because I said, my name's
- 1:24:44Speaker 14: airport with no because it's very singular. I'm calling from
- 1:24:48Speaker 14: the front lines of this right now, and I'm here
- 1:24:51Speaker 14: to tell you the only person that is proud of
- 1:24:54Speaker 14: this pajama phase is Walmart families that allow their children
- 1:25:01Speaker 14: to walk out like this. When we grew up, we
- 1:25:04Speaker 14: dressed nice. This was an event. This was something nice.
- 1:25:06Speaker 14: You're gonna show up in New York billy somewhere and
- 1:25:09Speaker 14: you're gonna have on nice clothes. What's up body seeing
- 1:25:11Speaker 14: my family? But you're gonna get off with SpongeBob SquarePants
- 1:25:16Speaker 14: bottoms and a flannel top in slides and your hair
- 1:25:20Speaker 14: undone and you think that looks good? And teenagers? Is
- 1:25:24Speaker 14: the guy that just said this is the short. No,
- 1:25:25Speaker 14: you don't get a pass. You're a young adult. You're
- 1:25:29Speaker 14: not five anymore.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Put down the dogert put on some clothes.
- 1:25:36Speaker 14: You know. It's Jesus. I don't. I don't get it.
- 1:25:39Speaker 14: And I'm mighty, and I see it every day and
- 1:25:41Speaker 14: I look at these people and I'm like you won't
- 1:25:43Speaker 14: go to Miller's al house dress like that, You won't
- 1:25:46Speaker 14: go to on an interview like that. What makes you
- 1:25:47Speaker 14: think that the airplane is your sofa? It's not. And
- 1:25:51Speaker 14: the other guy was like, I'm sorry, I'm going on
- 1:25:53Speaker 14: a rift because and open hand smack everybody.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: The violence is a bit much.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: I understand an airport. We appreciate it, buddy.
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: Do you do movie reviews?
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Thanks, buddy, I appreciate you the best, all right? Four
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: oh seven nine one six one four one text us
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: seven seven zero three one. It is annoying, though, I mean, well,
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: here's the thing. It's it's got no impact on my life.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: You know again I I And it's not like it's
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: not my job to help people or to give them
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: any advice. I just know, you know, from being around
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: a little bit and being in certain circles of people
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: that make he you know that movers and checkers a
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: little bit and they don't just don't look at people
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: like that, like serious people. So if you you're twenty
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: five out there and you're walking around in sweatpants or
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: you know, or pajama pants and your T shirt and
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: your hoodie, nobody takes you seriously maybe if you don't
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: want anybody to take you seriously, that's fine.
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: But I'm telling you, man.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: You just people do not look at you as a
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: person of consequence. It's just how it is. I mean,
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: it's a cultural norm. And I know it sucks because
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: you could be a wonderful person. You could be a
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: proproductive and smart person, but nobody's gonna believe that because
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: you don't carry yourself in that nature.
- 1:27:01Speaker 5: And the dress is important, you know, it would be
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: nice if everyone looked presentable, Yeah, but really what's important
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: is more how you interact with people you know and
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: the other people and realize some people are you know,
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: are stressed out. Some people are anxious about travel right
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: and and you know, if you can just show a
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: little more grace to the people around you, even you know,
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: TSA and security.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: You know, and you're would you agree to those guys?
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: You're you tell a little bit of a story about
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: who you are by how you dress when you go out. Oh,
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: like how you dress when you go to work and
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: things like that. I try not to wear T shirts
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: to work. And it's not because I don't think it's like,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: I mean, we're in a radio business, but I always
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: try to wear a collar when I'm out here at.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: The station in some way shavor form.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: You'll notice even recently, more long sleeve shirts rolled up
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: than that. And I know that Jim Phillips, who worked
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: here for years in this very slot and you know,
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: kind of went through that same period where you know,
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: you felt like the job deserved a little respect and
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: you should come in here and you should look okay.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: You you guys always dressed nice and professional. I mean Jack,
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: you know, yeah, I mean, he's got his baseball jersey
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: on the today. I went, I went through that phase. Yeah,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: so I wouldn't even worry about it. But that's but
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: the kind of the point is that though I don't
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: know that you should care if anybody sees you, I
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: think that really a little bit of that is how
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: you feel about yourself. I think when you dress kind
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: of bummy like that, where your sweatpants or your or
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: your pajama pants, and I.
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: Think maybe you have some self.
- 1:28:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: I mean, look, I know that sounds but I think
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: it's true.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: Though. I think there's something to that that you have
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: a little bit of a self image issue. And I
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: know that you want to be comfortable and everything like that.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: But I mean, if you're thirty years old and you're
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: walking around but jama pants, I don't know, dude, Like,
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: I don't know. Is that a little harsh? Is that
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: a harsh show? Oh?
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: No?
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Right, yeah, all right, so let's figure this thing out
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: from Grady Judd.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: Do you guys know what I'm talking about? By any chance?
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Did you see the You saw the arrest though?
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: It was everywhere today? Oh today?
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it was everywhere in Polk County. By the way,
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: there's always something fun happening in Polk County. If you
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: ever get bored, just go to Google, type in Pole
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: County and hit news. You're gonna find something interesting. Florida
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: man claiming to be part of a TikTok challenge was
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: arrested after he was caught on camera walking down a road.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: That's all he was doing, walking down a road. Why
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: would you arrest somebody just walking down the road.
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: It was naked.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: He was absolutely one hundred percent not even socks on naked.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: He was one hundred percent naked. He said he was
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: doing a TikTok challenge. But the funny thing was is
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: nobody was filming him. He wasn't filming himself. He didn't
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: have a cell phone on him or anything. Obviously dude
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: was either blanked up or maybe has some mental illness
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: issues because he's walking straight naked, just down the side
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: of the road. Here's where the problem comes in for me.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: All right, and we're all from the South. Well, I'm
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: from the South, and I've heard this term a number
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: of times. Grady jet Judd said he was buck naked.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: He was buck naked. He said it over and over again,
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: and even in the story he says, and he goes,
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: you know what, but naked means it means not even
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: wearing socks. I think it's just him being a little funny.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: You can mean naked and wearing socks, but butt naked
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: means you didn't have anything on. Here's my problem. I
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: thought it was butt naked. I never thought of it. What
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: is buck naked? Butt naked makes more sense. That's butt
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: naked means your butt is out, I can see your butt.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: What does buck naked mean?
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Where it it?
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: It doesn't mean anything?
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: No, it does? It does.
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: It's the original way to say that. And I think
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: it referred to like a stripped down deer. You know,
- 1:30:38Speaker 5: really from old I mean colonial time, like I'm cowboys.
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: In Indians, we always said butt naked.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: If your your butt naked, in other words, your butt
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: is out, I can see your butt. You're naked enough
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: or your bare ass is showing. It's like if you
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: would dress down a deer, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: know that when you skin the deer and you haven't
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: you know he has no skin?
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: Buck naked, Well, it does mean completely naked according to
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: Oxford languages.
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: But where does that?
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: Where's the formal North American English buck naked?
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: But it doesn't given reason or any origin of why
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: it's buck naked. I mean does it follo along Jack's
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: boys in Indians? I mean it doesn't follow on Jackson.
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: I mean look, I mean Jack's explanation makes sense. I mean,
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: you skin a deer, the deer is I guess buck naked.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: I don't know, but I always.
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: Naked also makes sense. I've heard them both.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: I just always when he said when he said buck naked,
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: I'm like, that's not right, it's butt naked.
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: No, they're both, they're they're both. But like Jack said,
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: buck naked is older. Oh I see, yeah, while both
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: buck naked and butt naked are used to describe someone
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: who is fully nude. Buck naked is the older of
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: the pair. Butt naked is much newer and likely sees
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: used because of butt having a long history of referring
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: to a person's buttocks.
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but the thing is, like, it doesn't make any sense.
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: It still doesn't make sense. How do you go from
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: buck to butt?
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: Then?
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: And that it means somebody replaced the word buck with
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: butt because maybe buck didn't make any sense, or it's
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: just can you still haven't explained why it's buck. Well,
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: if you'll give me a second here.
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: That thank you.
- 1:32:20Speaker 6: I'm doing your research all right, live on the air.
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: I but I didn't mean to give that aggro.
- 1:32:25Speaker 6: But I was about to come over there, and we're
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: gonna have a little come to Jesus meeting live on.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: The air, and we're not gonna be butt nagged.
- 1:32:35Speaker 6: Some think that the original was but based on that
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: word having been used to refer to a person's buttock
- 1:32:40Speaker 6: since the seventeenth century. Uh and then my page just okay,
- 1:32:44Speaker 6: and that buck was a euphemism. Others feel that the
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: buck referred to buckskin, the skin of a male deer, right,
- 1:32:52Speaker 6: or that it came from a word sense meeting a
- 1:32:54Speaker 6: male American Indian or African American.
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: Now that's considered offense. Okay, so that makes sense. Okay,
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: So here's where it makes sense. Then it's part of
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: what Jack said. Right. So back in the day, you
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: would have made your clothing from buckskins, like you would
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: have made a jacket, you would have made your pants.
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: We know for a fact that's the case. But if
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: you were.
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: Buck naked, that means you would have none of the
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: deer's clothes on that you would have none of the
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: buck clothes on your buck naked, no clothes because the
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: clothes were made of deer in the day. That's exactly
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: what it is. Yep, I'll be damn.
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: Is that exactly what it is. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: From Miriam Webster by the way, that's.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: What Webster said. That's what Miriam said, Jack, I love yeah, Yeah,
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: I love they Yes. This guy by the way, this
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: guy was oh Man and he does not love a
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: good guy who would be challenge without a phone? Yeah,
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: butt naked. The guy's names Anthony Day and they put
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: his picture up there and he doesn't. I mean, here's
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: the thing, it's kind of weird. You never know when
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: anybody's nuts. You know, they could be perfectly fine and
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: still be just completely bananas. This guy does not have
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: that I'm nuts and walk down the street and they
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: could look about it like a regular old white dude, right,
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: just a regular old, middle aged white dude. It's the
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: strangest thing I did not hear about that rest. Yeah,
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: he was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting an officer without violence,
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: and exposure of sexual organs. Mm hmm. I mean that
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: one wants any of that. Yeah, Yeah, it was a
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: little Grady. Grady loves saying it. I bet Grady would
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: never move out of Polk County just because of the action.
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: Oh my god. I mean, you put that guy in
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: a sleepy town where nothing happens and he would melt.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: He would never be able to do it. That guy
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: is built for this stuff.
- 1:34:32Speaker 6: So much so that his press conference with the guy
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: who had the thermos tucked into his nether regions ye
- 1:34:38Speaker 6: and his age. Yeah, that made it onto Instagram reels.
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, dude, that thing was national news for a week.
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: The driver, this driver who saw this guy walking down
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: the street. By the way, there's a still shot of
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: it and this guy is just literally walking to the
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: side of the road. What side are you on? I'm on.
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: This is Fox thirty five or Land.
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: Okay good. The story is Florida man walking quote buck
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: naked in thirty six stree there, claiming he was doing
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: a TikTok challenge.
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: He's definitely gonna want to say, it's cold out.
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: So it must have been last week when it was
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: really cold.
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: He says, Uh. They pulled up next to him and said, hey,
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: are you cold? He goes, not a bit, He goes,
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: what are you doing? He goes, well, actually, it's a
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: TikTok challenge. He goes, well, you don't even have your
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: cell phone. You're really naked when you don't have your
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: cell phone, jud said. He added that when deputies asked
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: him for his name, the man gave a false name
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: in the wrong in a wrong address.
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: Well, I'm sure he had no idea on him. No,
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: he definitely not. Well he could have, he did.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: You didn't want to take anything.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: You definitely did not go ahead and.
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: Lay that idea in this wet white here, sir, exactly,
- 1:35:36Speaker 6: I'm gonna disinfect this.
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: For a moment. I got my idea.
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: I keep it in this thermous.
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: He does have the best press conference.
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: He does.
- 1:35:46Speaker 7: He does.
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: He went to jail and he he went and they
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: take you to jail with no clothes on, Like, they
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: don't even offer you anything.
- 1:35:53Speaker 3: They just they give you a blanket, don't they.
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: I don't.
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: They don't want you sitting directly on the seat.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, dude. It says, it says we
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: addressed him for obviously violations of the wall. He went
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: to jail, and after all, he went there without any
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: clothes on. That's how he arrived at bookend. No clothes.
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: Here he comes butt nagging and I was, I'm like, Jack,
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: I thought they have like a towel or this thing
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: that looks like a blanket with like two armholes. That's
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: a suicide vest. Yeah, but I mean this one is
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: a full length thing. It looks like I'll tell you
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: exactly what it looks like. It looks like packing blankets
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: you get from U haul and they've kind of sewed
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: it where it has a headhole and it has two
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: armholes and it wears like a really cheap like packing
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: blanket dress.
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: What they call that stupid blanket they were selling for
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: a while it had that really large blanket that would.
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: Look you would wear it, right.
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: No, it's not that comfortable, is that? Oh my god, snuggle?
- 1:36:47Speaker 6: I can't remember the name of it. Oh man, I
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: wore that snuggy just a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: Oh there you go.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna wear it to the airport.
- 1:36:56Speaker 7: You know what, I judge.
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: I've never had one, never wore one.
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: Oh when it got that cold though. The best people
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: are listening to the show right now, and goes, did
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: that guy just make a transition from a butt naked
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: guy walking on the road to a Snuggie? Yeah, but
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: that's exactly what it looks like. It looks like a
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: Snuggie without that hood thing.
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: And uh.
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: And the reason I know that is because there was
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: a woman who just went to jail, who popped up
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: on my Instagram account and they took her into court
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: and she was like naked somewhere and they put one
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: of these like packing blanket things on her.
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: So she walked in.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: It's just blue. It doesn't looks like something they would
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: put on you so you would hurt yourself.
- 1:37:31Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't know if that's what it is.
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: I thought it was bulletproof, so snipers couldn't take Oh no, no.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: They're not sniping her. You don't know. You don't know
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: who's getting sniped. Anthony Day, He's gonna have a fun
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: day at work. Yeah, I guess you do. You get that,
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: do you? I don't get that drunk. I don't get
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: take my clothes off drunk like I don't. I don't.

- 1:41:45Speaker 3: Which of those is a lie?
- 1:41:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:41:49Speaker 7: Only because of a play and my age and remembering
- 1:41:52Speaker 7: the show, I got to say three?

- 1:42:23Speaker 9: Frank gater rafting.
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: No, it's white water shafting.
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: Get it right.
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: The joke is in the shafting. That's unfortunately, that's an
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: actual movie.
- 1:42:34Speaker 5: Sorry Larry, Sorry Larry, find yourself shafted.
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: He's gonna go on and complain about that at dinner tonight.
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: I thought I had it right, said water rafting, shafting
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: the whole time. Kids in you means two batches of
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: sowsberry left, alright? Three four or five? Let's go three?
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: Three? Is Danny Anny? How you doing?

- 1:43:02Speaker 3: How are you doing good?
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: Buddy? You got a fifty to fifty shot here? Getting
- 1:43:05Speaker 2: over to the old Jackie Sack? Which one of these
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: is not an actual adult film title? Is it Granny
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: Sandwich or sting Finger?
- 1:43:15Speaker 13: I hope it's Granny Sandwich.
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: It is not Granny Sandwich. That is an actual adult
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: film title. And I love the fact that you also
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: understand how bad that is. He goes, I hope it's
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: not this one. I really hope it's the other one.
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: Sophe's choice for you today, young lady Sean or Aaron?
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: How are you feeling? Are you feeling Sean? Are you
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: feeling Aaron?
- 1:43:37Speaker 6: Well, I feel like the person in the number five
- 1:43:39Speaker 6: position feels it because I went one, two, three, and
- 1:43:41Speaker 6: four that they're not going to get a chance.
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: So let's go five.
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: Aaron, How you doing, buddy? Yeah you are, buddy.
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: Hey, tell me is sting Finger an actual adult film title?
- 1:43:52Speaker 14: I mean it probably should be.
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: I gonna tell you it probably should be maybe on
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: some part of the country. But you're right, buddy, I'm
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: gonna be j On Old, You're a winter Budy.
- 1:44:01Speaker 3: Good day.
- 1:44:03Speaker 6: I'm sorry to the other caller, Yeah, sorry, Sean, Sorry Sean.
- 1:44:07Speaker 3: Others that did not make the case, Sean, hang on,
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: I might have an extra.
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah, Sean, hang on, hang on? Is he
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: still there?
- 1:44:13Speaker 6: Yeah, Sean put yes, they push on. Jack's got a
- 1:44:16Speaker 6: prize for you as sounded pornish.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, that made Some other that did not make
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: the cut today are two in the chamber.
- 1:44:28Speaker 16: They could just describe Jack's weekend.
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: Deeper by the dozen, oh hell no? Or lastly, a
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: place for your face that actually should be on a
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: T shirt? Exactly? How was the Granny sandwich coat? I
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: can't even tell you. They honestly, I'll tell you what
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: they do with this because when you go to this
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: area where I go the areas that I can't tell
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: you because I don't want to, Well, you go to it.
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: It shows you a list like every page is like one,
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: and that means like each page has like, you know,
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: fifteen movies and there may be sixty five hundred pages.
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: What I'm not kidding and what it does is it
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: chronicles them from when they were made to new So
- 1:45:09Speaker 2: you go to the very back of that list and
- 1:45:10Speaker 2: you start seeing movies that were made in the nineties.
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: And that's really where the good titles come from because
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: the new movies don't really make clever titles anymore, so
- 1:45:17Speaker 2: you have to go way back. And also the way
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: they market adult films is really unique. You can see
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: it go through transitions, and in the nineties it was
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: all like neon and teased up hair exactly what you think.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: Now it's more just like the pictures right there, it's
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: just the girl and that's it. It's it's really it's
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: really kind of it's they don't sounds boring.
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: There's no like Mark, there's no graphics or anything like that.
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: And the Granny one, it's just like two Granny's looking
- 1:45:43Speaker 2: at a door, that's all.
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: It is, just too Granny's looking at the door.
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: I bet you were grateful for that, Marja, I get
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: I don't even look at them usually I just look
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: at the name and I see Granning Sandwich. Then you
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: have to glance up and you're like, oh, I'm sorry
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: I did that. I need one of those men in
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: black light that every time I write this bit, I
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: can just splash myself with it and I'll forget the
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: last half an hour what I had to do, all
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: right for seven nine six four one text us at
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: seven seven zero three Onness, take little break, will come
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: back and do more than Jim corbra Show. Don't forget
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: in the second hour, or actually in next hour, we'll
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: have Jayden Grimes in for eight bit update. We'll do
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: that around six twenty.
- 1:46:17Speaker 6: Did you do your homework and play your video games?
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: I'll tell you what happened next next, but i'll tell
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: you what happened a minute.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Okay, you're listening to the Jim Klolberg Show.
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: Just I want to relay this.
- 1:46:35Speaker 12: As far as Buck Naked goes, I've never seen a
- 1:46:38Speaker 12: deer wearing pants.
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: Anyway, That's my take on it. Buck Naked makes sense.
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: It kind it does.
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: By the way, I'm typing up my Devil Degg recipe
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: right now to send over to Jack so we can
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: put it up on the Jim members page. Buddy, I
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: don't even know ifucking post on that thing.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: Really.
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: I know I can respond because I just responded to
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: something today. Okay, did you see the balloon or the
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: did you see the float?
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: Did you see what I wrote on here? I said,
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: I wish my grill.
- 1:47:06Speaker 2: Was that good. Yeah, because the dude's teeth are perfect.
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: But somebody made a big Jim Colbert like float for Macy's.
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: It was a float, so it looked like Jim.
- 1:47:14Speaker 5: But you know, I say, ballut like a Macy's Thanksgiving
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: Day below holding a beer. It's in gym members that
- 1:47:20Speaker 5: that again, that's our Facebook group. If you search JIM members,
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: j I M JIM members ask to join. You get
- 1:47:27Speaker 5: in there, and then you know you're with about ten
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: thousand of our friends.
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: Yeahah, there you go, our closest friend.
- 1:47:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:47:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: I want to be able to word this properly because
- 1:47:36Speaker 2: it's a real easy thing. But you think people will
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: understand if I say you put all this stuff in
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: a bowl, mix it up and then add mayo at
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: the end to achieve the consistency that you want. That
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: makes sense to me because you add some up front
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: and you get it all mixed together. But when you
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: stir it all together and break the yolks down, you'll
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: realize it'll probably need something else, and you just add mayo.
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: Do you know what helps me when you describe something
- 1:48:00Speaker 5: like the consistency should be, like is it peanut butter?
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: Is it is something smoother than peanut butter?
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: Like peanut butter is actually not a bad but it's
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: actually a little thinner than that.
- 1:48:09Speaker 3: Yeah, what are you laughing at the float?
- 1:48:12Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny.
- 1:48:13Speaker 6: Right, I'm gonna put it up on the camera for
- 1:48:15Speaker 6: those who maybe haven't had a chance to see it yet.
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: Yeah, so good one, Ed. I'll finish this up next
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: break and I'll send over to Jack and hopefully we
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: can put this up today so you'll have the doubled
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: egg recipe that everybody was freaking out about.
- 1:48:25Speaker 6: Yesterday, and still our texting service weighing in.
- 1:48:29Speaker 3: I know, I asked angela.
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: Angel knows what they taste like, that's for sure. So
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: dead actually found something during the break. Now, who was
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: breaking this news.
- 1:48:39Speaker 6: This is interesting. So I hadn't seen this. This just
- 1:48:42Speaker 6: was recently posted on WKMG, that would be channel Channel six, Yeah,
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: New six, And when I saw the notification on my phone,
- 1:48:49Speaker 6: I was like what.
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: Here's the story.
- 1:48:52Speaker 6: Straight from Channel six's website, A Florida lawmaker has introduced
- 1:48:56Speaker 6: legislation that seeks to end these are important words next
- 1:48:59Speaker 6: ace date wide practice of selling residents, drivers, licenses, and
- 1:49:05Speaker 6: ID card information to private companies, data brokers, insurance analytics firms,
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: and foreign owned entities. Now, that's according to reporting from
- 1:49:15Speaker 6: New six's sister station WJXT.
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: News for in Jacksonville.
- 1:49:21Speaker 6: Yeah, so, Florida Representative Peggy Gossit Sidemen filed with the
- 1:49:26Speaker 6: Motor Vehicle Operator Privacy Act on Sunday, stating that for
- 1:49:29Speaker 6: more than fifteen years, you guys, the Florida Department of
- 1:49:33Speaker 6: Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has operated data sharing agreements
- 1:49:37Speaker 6: that generated how much money over those fifteen years by
- 1:49:41Speaker 6: selling driver information?
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: Fifteen million dollars. That's cute, jack, oh boy.
- 1:49:47Speaker 6: And this is occurring to public audits and investigations.
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: Data is one of the number one it is. Data
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: is the most.
- 1:49:54Speaker 6: Sixty million four hundred and ninety million dollars.
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: Do we did we know?
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: Oh that was happening.
- 1:50:00Speaker 6: I didn't know this. I've never heard this before. Now
- 1:50:04Speaker 6: this is the other show.
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: So the state's taking the driver's license information or ID
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: card information and without our knowledge or consent, selling that
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: information to everybody with a dollar at exactly how about
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: and then making half a billion dollars on it and
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: we get nothing out of it except the phone calls.
- 1:50:21Speaker 6: Yeah, and we have to have another state representative, a
- 1:50:24Speaker 6: state lawmaker, decide to end that practice. And this is
- 1:50:27Speaker 6: the first that we've heard about it. Now, listen to.
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: The data that they sold you, guys, they sold.
- 1:50:32Speaker 6: The data sold includes names, addresses, birth dates, driver's license numbers.
- 1:50:38Speaker 6: This is really important for car insurance, driving histories, crash records,
- 1:50:44Speaker 6: vehicle information, organ donor status, physical descriptors.
- 1:50:49Speaker 2: Is that organ donor status a hip a thing? I
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: don't believe so, because it is on your driver's license.
- 1:50:55Speaker 3: Is a shooting for a class action lawsuit?
- 1:50:57Speaker 2: Guys, help me up.
- 1:50:57Speaker 6: Physical descriptors, driver's license credentials, renewal history, restriction codes, emergency
- 1:51:07Speaker 6: contact information.
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: Who else does this?
- 1:51:09Speaker 6: Like?
- 1:51:09Speaker 2: They're obviously your does your your credit card company sells
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: your information? Do they not are like when you subscribe
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: to something. Don't they have the ability like in the
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: con in the agreement to sell that information?
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's but those have to disclose. But those are.
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: Businesses, right, And this is the stat by the way,
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: this is you cannot drive a vehicle in the state
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: without your driver's license, so you're actually forced to give
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: them this information.
- 1:51:31Speaker 5: When did they start this? And then who's in charge
- 1:51:34Speaker 5: of the last fifteen years?
- 1:51:35Speaker 6: And not only that, but in some cases even driver photographs.
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: Dude, that's crazy. Wow.
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: Fifteen years.
- 1:51:43Speaker 17: Wow.
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: The legislative session starts to January thirteenth, and so kudos
- 1:51:48Speaker 6: to Florida Representative Peggy Gossip Sideman from US. She's a
- 1:51:52Speaker 6: Republican from District ninety one who filed the Motor Vehicle
- 1:51:56Speaker 6: Operator Privacy Act?
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: Was that jebs?
- 1:51:59Speaker 2: So let me let me ask fifteen years ago it
- 1:52:01Speaker 2: would have been Jebber. It would have been Jebber. No,
- 1:52:04Speaker 2: it would have been Rick scottouldn't it?
- 1:52:06Speaker 16: Oh?
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: Maybe?
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: Because what's his face has been in This is his
- 1:52:09Speaker 3: eighth year.
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: Right, yes, this is a second term.
- 1:52:12Speaker 6: And then before that was Rick Scott who served two terms.
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: So yeah, it's Rick Scott for sure. Yeah. So okay,
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: so hold.
- 1:52:21Speaker 2: On, Oh we forgot about a guy, Charlie Christ Charlie
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: Chris really okay, here we go.
- 1:52:29Speaker 6: Additionally, the lawmaker states that the sales so this is
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: this is why we have questions, they've occurred without residence, knowledge, consent,
- 1:52:38Speaker 6: or even an option to opt out, and that dozens
- 1:52:41Speaker 6: of national and foreign owned companies have purchased this information
- 1:52:46Speaker 6: for figures that include, again this is off of new
- 1:52:49Speaker 6: six Channel six's website, that includes seventy seven point nine
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: million dollars collected in twenty seventeen, approximately two hundred and
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: sixty three million dollars from twenty twenty one to twenty
- 1:53:02Speaker 6: twenty three, and more than one hundred and fifty million
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: before twenty fifteen.
- 1:53:06Speaker 2: Where's that money going? What are they doing with that money?
- 1:53:09Speaker 2: Where does that go? What is that what is that funding? No, well,
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: here's her statement, whatever they want. Quote.
- 1:53:17Speaker 6: Floridians are required, like you guys just said, are required
- 1:53:20Speaker 6: by law to provide their personal information to the DMV,
- 1:53:24Speaker 6: and it is our responsibility to ensure that information is
- 1:53:27Speaker 6: never misused. The state of Florida is not in the
- 1:53:30Speaker 6: business of selling your personal inform.
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: Helsure not. They obviously are for fifteen years, they.
- 1:53:35Speaker 6: Are and have never given us a dime of that
- 1:53:37Speaker 6: four hundred and ninety million dollars that they've been raking
- 1:53:40Speaker 6: in on our backs and with personal information. I would
- 1:53:43Speaker 6: never want what foreign owned entity needs to know anything
- 1:53:46Speaker 6: about us?
- 1:53:46Speaker 3: What other states are doing this?
- 1:53:49Speaker 12: I don't.
- 1:53:50Speaker 6: Yeah, this is that's a very very good question.
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:53:54Speaker 6: So when I saw this, I didn't want to leave
- 1:53:55Speaker 6: this for you heard it here first, because that's their segment.
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: Yeah, this is huge.
- 1:53:59Speaker 6: This is a huge, huge story because again, as as
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: Jimmy said, data is I mean we are data right, Yes,
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: our data.
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: Is everything to these companies.
- 1:54:11Speaker 6: She added that residents have reported identity theft shortly after
- 1:54:15Speaker 6: renewing their licenses, unsolicited attorney advertisements after minor citations, and
- 1:54:22Speaker 6: marketers showing up.
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: At their doors. For years.
- 1:54:27Speaker 6: This system operated without public awareness, even high ranking state officials. Again,
- 1:54:32Speaker 6: this is a quote, we're not fully informed. House Built
- 1:54:36Speaker 6: three fifty seven shuts this down for good end quote.
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: A Car and Driver. Oddly enough, a Car and Driver
- 1:54:43Speaker 2: article from twenty twenty says that many states do it
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: well as a matter of fact, they even mentioned the
- 1:54:50Speaker 2: seventy seven million that Florida made in twenty seventeen.
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: Interesting that car and driver knew it, but we don't
- 1:54:55Speaker 6: know it. And we're drivers in the state.
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: Of Florida, Delaware, Indiana, Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin, among others,
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: are profiting as well. This is legal under a nineteen
- 1:55:06Speaker 2: ninety four federal law known as the Driver's Privacy Protection Act.
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: The law was intended to limit public access to personal
- 1:55:14Speaker 2: data after a woman was murdered by a stalker who
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: had hired a private investigator to obtain her address from
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: D and B records.
- 1:55:22Speaker 5: So it sounds like it's having the opposite effect exactly
- 1:55:25Speaker 5: and again in twenty twenty five.
- 1:55:27Speaker 6: So in nineteen ninety four, identity theft wasn't even something
- 1:55:31Speaker 6: we really talked about. In twenty twenty five, it's one
- 1:55:34Speaker 6: of the biggest threats to your money.
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: I mean, we have one of our biggest businesses that
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: comes in here. His entire company is built around that threat. Ogger.
- 1:55:42Speaker 6: So the bill seeks to ban all commercial sales of
- 1:55:45Speaker 6: driver's license and ID card information, block foreign and foreign
- 1:55:48Speaker 6: owned entities from accessing Florida driver data, require written consent
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: before any non law enforcement disclosure. Prohibit insurers that's a
- 1:55:58Speaker 6: big one. And parties from using DMV data for risk
- 1:56:02Speaker 6: scoring or marketing, and require insurers to rely only on
- 1:56:06Speaker 6: verified state driving records.
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: Yeah, the state dmb's legally sell access to drivers data
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: under the Driver's Privacy Protection Act, which seems like counter
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: and the counter absolutely does.
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: Wow, isn't that crazy?
- 1:56:23Speaker 5: This is going to require the people to rise up,
- 1:56:26Speaker 5: and I mean it's going to have to be nonense
- 1:56:29Speaker 5: because trying to get politicians to turn off a money source.
- 1:56:33Speaker 6: Yeah, a secret money source.
- 1:56:35Speaker 5: They we're going to have to be They're going to
- 1:56:37Speaker 5: have to feel that their positions are threatened as far
- 1:56:40Speaker 5: as being re elected. And it's going to require the
- 1:56:43Speaker 5: citizenry to contact their elected representatives at the state level
- 1:56:49Speaker 5: to let them know that this is not cool, y'all.
- 1:56:52Speaker 2: And here's where it gets.
- 1:56:53Speaker 6: This is the part that also angers me so much
- 1:56:55Speaker 6: because we always when we talk to attorney Glenn Clausman, right,
- 1:56:58Speaker 6: personal injury attorney, and we talk about those insurance companies
- 1:57:02Speaker 6: that are harder to work with than others, and how
- 1:57:05Speaker 6: insurance costs in this state, whether it's home insurance, car
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: insurance going through the roof. This bill would also aim
- 1:57:10Speaker 6: to eliminate third party risk scores that can unfairly raise
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: your insurance premiums, establish mandatory oversight and public reporting of
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: permitted data access, apply protections retroactively to previously shared data,
- 1:57:26Speaker 6: and terminate outdated contracts. The legislation, if it's approved, would
- 1:57:30Speaker 6: take effect on July first of twenty twenty six.
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: But we will be behind every bit of that.
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: Every dress is.
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: Here in this article. Here, Every driver in America should
- 1:57:39Speaker 2: be furious. The DMV isn't a neutral record keeper. It's
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: a revenue machine built on your personal data. States justify
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: it as cost recovery, but the truth is simpler. Your
- 1:57:49Speaker 2: info is wor worth more to them than your privacy.
- 1:57:52Speaker 6: Yeah. Absolutely, and again, four hundred and ninety million dollars
- 1:57:55Speaker 6: was any of that offered to any resident in Florida
- 1:57:57Speaker 6: who did have their identity stolen and had to incur
- 1:58:00Speaker 6: the nightmare that is re establishing your good credit, your
- 1:58:04Speaker 6: good name.
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: And it says here, by the way, and a couple
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: of lawsuits aren't going to fix this either. In twenty
- 1:58:08Speaker 2: twenty one, Lexis Nexus paid a five point one to
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: three million dollars settlement after selling crash reports to law
- 1:58:15Speaker 2: firms for marketing a direct DPPA violation, But the sales
- 1:58:21Speaker 2: data did not stop. Even after having to pay five
- 1:58:24Speaker 2: point one three million dollars in fines, they still kept
- 1:58:26Speaker 2: selling data. And again that's exactly why is because it's
- 1:58:29Speaker 2: so damn profitable. They didn't cost them anything. Matter of fact,
- 1:58:32Speaker 2: you have to have it, so they are getting their
- 1:58:35Speaker 2: information because of law. They're literally forcing you to give
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: up your data so that they can sell it. You
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: do not have an option. If you have a driver's license,
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: they're going to have it.
- 1:58:44Speaker 6: But without the option to opt out or even be
- 1:58:46Speaker 6: made aware that your information is going to be sold
- 1:58:49Speaker 6: and to whom it's going to be sold too.
- 1:58:51Speaker 21: It says.
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: Even when states like North Carolina or Jersey suspended buyers
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: for misuse, the business resumed once procedures were updated. Translation,
- 1:59:00Speaker 2: they tightened their paperwork, not their ethics.
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: There you go, because who's going to give up four hundred.
- 1:59:04Speaker 2: And ninety million dollars?
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: Oh in where it's going?
- 1:59:06Speaker 6: Yeah, well it's not going to us.
- 1:59:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but where's the money going? What are they using
- 1:59:09Speaker 2: that for? Those are all very good questions we've got it,
- 1:59:12Speaker 2: because I mean, if we don't know how if we
- 1:59:13Speaker 2: didn't know they were taking the money in, how do
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: we know what they're doing with it when they take it.
- 1:59:18Speaker 2: We don't.
- 1:59:19Speaker 6: That's part of the problem. We didn't even know they
- 1:59:21Speaker 6: were doing this.
- 1:59:23Speaker 2: Florida's DMV sold driver data to a company tied to
- 1:59:25Speaker 2: an identity theft ring. Thousands of Floridians woke up with
- 1:59:29Speaker 2: drain bank accounts. Texas sold data that ended up in
- 1:59:33Speaker 2: facial recognition and databases without CASCENT, and later suffered a
- 1:59:36Speaker 2: breach exposing twenty seven million driver records.
- 1:59:39Speaker 6: Yeah, because again, they're also selling our photographs and the
- 1:59:42Speaker 6: age of AI. I don't know about you, guys. I
- 1:59:44Speaker 6: don't want some foreign entity with my photo.
- 1:59:47Speaker 2: California admitted it sold two point one billion records and
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: ten years netting how much money which residents then saw
- 1:59:55Speaker 2: their information used for spam calls and rate hikes. How
- 1:59:58Speaker 2: much money the California make in ten years while selling
- 2:00:01Speaker 2: two point one billion records, This is.
- 2:00:04Speaker 3: A net number.
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: Two hundred and eighty two million dollars. Wow, It says.
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: Once the data leaks, it always leaks. It's gold in
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: the dark web. Stolen DMV records. Fetch fifteen to thirty
- 2:00:24Speaker 2: dollars apiece, complete with your photo and license number. It's
- 2:00:29Speaker 2: not theoretical, it is happening right now. Absolutely.
- 2:00:32Speaker 6: Someone just texted us at seven seven zero three one
- 2:00:34Speaker 6: Colorado does this too. The moment I got my Colorado
- 2:00:37Speaker 6: license after moving from Orlando, my robo calls started coming
- 2:00:41Speaker 6: in Denver area codes into the person who also texted
- 2:00:44Speaker 6: the info is already effing out there. Yeah, we get
- 2:00:46Speaker 6: that part, but this is the state selling our information
- 2:00:50Speaker 6: and us not getting a cut of it, and not
- 2:00:52Speaker 6: even having the option to opt out.
- 2:00:53Speaker 2: And by the way, there are people who still being late.
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: By the way, remember the AT and D breach I
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: told you guys about and how they're paying off that
- 2:01:00Speaker 2: find That thing ends in December. Matter of fact, I
- 2:01:03Speaker 2: had the website up here. So if you if you
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: are an AT and T customer and you were breached,
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: there were two breaches and they're worth money and they're
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: paying it that It was like a seventy five million
- 2:01:11Speaker 2: dollars settlement. The thing ends, but you have to write
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: a letter. Remember how crazy that was? You can they
- 2:01:17Speaker 2: make you jump through all these hoops, but it's like
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: a twenty five hundred dollars or five thousand dollars.
- 2:01:21Speaker 5: Fine, we need a data Privacy Act at the federal level.
- 2:01:25Speaker 3: Yes, that would be like hippo laws. Yes, that protects.
- 2:01:28Speaker 5: Your and that you can ask any company that has
- 2:01:33Speaker 5: your data you have a right to see what they.
- 2:01:35Speaker 3: Have on you.
- 2:01:35Speaker 2: I can't imagine a more bipartisan piece of legislation than that. Absolutely,
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: I mean Republican, Democrat, independent. Nobody wants their stuff stolen.
- 2:01:43Speaker 2: Nobody wants to get robocalls. Nobody wants to wake up
- 2:01:45Speaker 2: to an abandoned or empty bank account because your driver's
- 2:01:49Speaker 2: licensed company sold your information on an identity theft re
- 2:01:52Speaker 2: your stack.
- 2:01:53Speaker 5: Christ's sakes, Good luck finding a politician who doesn't take
- 2:01:56Speaker 5: money from a company that benefits from it.
- 2:01:58Speaker 6: Yeah, need to get Scott Maxwell on the case.
- 2:02:02Speaker 4: All right, Uh.
- 2:02:05Speaker 2: Four one eight bit update with our friend Jayden Grimes

- 2:03:21Speaker 2: thank that's awesome. I know you work a lot of
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: hard and we actually when last week when you could

- 2:03:27Speaker 2: so people understand.
- 2:03:28Speaker 3: You're not skipping out. No, you have other things to do.
- 2:03:30Speaker 3: I know you love doing the bit.
- 2:03:31Speaker 21: I love this segment so much. Video games is my life,
- 2:03:33Speaker 21: so I've never off now.
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: Look, I know there's a lot of stuff out there
- 2:03:37Speaker 2: right now because I've actually read some news that I
- 2:03:39Speaker 2: actually did not say because I knew that the segment
- 2:03:43Speaker 2: was coming. I know Game Stop has some stuff coming
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: up and things of that as well.
- 2:03:47Speaker 8: I di'd even hear about the game Stop stuff.
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: What are they doing that thing?
- 2:03:49Speaker 12: Jack?
- 2:03:50Speaker 2: We talked about this the other day.
- 2:03:51Speaker 3: It was trade anything.
- 2:03:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you can trade trade anything thing.
- 2:03:54Speaker 21: I did hear about that. Yeah, I don't know how
- 2:03:56Speaker 21: well that worked out of that happen.
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: Yet, don't know.
- 2:03:59Speaker 3: I just saw and I was like, games Game Info.
- 2:04:02Speaker 21: It's because they're losing their company. Everything's going digital. They're
- 2:04:05Speaker 21: they're now in like really big with like trading cards
- 2:04:08Speaker 21: and stuff. Yeah, that's like one of the really big
- 2:04:10Speaker 21: things now. Game Stop switching up a lot. Yeah, it's
- 2:04:13Speaker 21: a little weird, but it is what it is. I
- 2:04:15Speaker 21: missed the old game Stop. Sure, there's a lot of
- 2:04:18Speaker 21: going on with video game movies. I have a couple
- 2:04:20Speaker 21: of video game movies to talk about. I love movies.
- 2:04:22Speaker 21: The Mario movie got a new trailer really yeah, I'm
- 2:04:25Speaker 21: very excited for that.
- 2:04:26Speaker 8: When the first animated one was great.
- 2:04:27Speaker 3: I haven't seen the first one yet.
- 2:04:30Speaker 7: Yeah, what are you doing?
- 2:04:31Speaker 8: It's a great movie.
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: Yeah, the Mario one with Jack Black? Yes, oh yeah, okay, yeah,
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: the roadbo not roadblocks, but the Jack Black and well No,
- 2:04:41Speaker 2: that was Minecraft.
- 2:04:43Speaker 8: They all just blend into each other. Yeah.
- 2:04:46Speaker 21: Another video game slash movie got canceled. So the Teenagemots
- 2:04:51Speaker 21: and Ninja Turtles they're working on a lash roun In
- 2:04:53Speaker 21: video game and movie that's one of like the biggest
- 2:04:56Speaker 21: comic stories from their Turtles lifetime. The movie just got
- 2:05:00Speaker 21: canceled today, and it's looking like the video game is
- 2:05:03Speaker 21: also going to get canceled along with the movie. There's
- 2:05:05Speaker 21: no word on the video game yet, but we've had
- 2:05:07Speaker 21: no update on it.
- 2:05:08Speaker 7: Nothing.
- 2:05:08Speaker 2: Is the brand soft now or something. I thought that
- 2:05:10Speaker 2: brand was still pretty strong, man. I thought the Turtles
- 2:05:13Speaker 2: kind of jumped generation.
- 2:05:14Speaker 21: So they had that animated movie that came out phenomenal.
- 2:05:17Speaker 21: They were coming back a bit and then they were like, yeah,
- 2:05:19Speaker 21: we're gonna do this rated R last Ronan movie. And
- 2:05:21Speaker 21: now it's scrapped and they're going to like they're making
- 2:05:25Speaker 21: a new movie with the nineties feel to it.
- 2:05:28Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know.
- 2:05:29Speaker 8: I'd rather just have.
- 2:05:29Speaker 3: It with the dance numbers, I hope.
- 2:05:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like break dancing Turtles and stuff while they're
- 2:05:36Speaker 2: fighting and stuff. Yeah.
- 2:05:38Speaker 5: Yes, I also pass real quick on this trade anything,
- 2:05:43Speaker 5: the game shop, trade anything, day. It's gonna be Saturday,
- 2:05:46Speaker 5: December sixth. Customers can trade anything for store credit. Now,
- 2:05:50Speaker 5: the restrictions are, people are limited to trading one item
- 2:05:55Speaker 5: and it has to fit in a twenty by twenty
- 2:05:58Speaker 5: by twenty inch box. So you got a twenty inch cube.
- 2:06:01Speaker 5: Whatever item you want to trade, you can trade it
- 2:06:04Speaker 5: for store credit. But it's only on December sixth at
- 2:06:06Speaker 5: game stop.
- 2:06:07Speaker 8: We're gonna get two dollars for it.
- 2:06:09Speaker 2: Yeah, shop for games, right, I got this thirty thousand dollars.
- 2:06:13Speaker 3: Watch how much are you are you gonna give me?
- 2:06:15Speaker 3: Like a buck? Twenty five exactly?
- 2:06:17Speaker 21: I just I texted Jack as soon as this happened,
- 2:06:21Speaker 21: but I would like to break his heart again.
- 2:06:23Speaker 8: GTA six has been delayed again.
- 2:06:26Speaker 5: No no, no, no, no no, it's still in November,
- 2:06:28Speaker 5: November nineteen, November, yeah six. It kicked it down six months.
- 2:06:32Speaker 5: It's a year from now, matter of fact, a year
- 2:06:34Speaker 5: from two days ago.
- 2:06:35Speaker 8: Yeah, less than a year now.
- 2:06:36Speaker 3: Actually, Oh yeah, we're.
- 2:06:38Speaker 4: Who you guys?
- 2:06:40Speaker 2: Nerds?
- 2:06:41Speaker 3: Three hundred and sixty three days nerd?
- 2:06:43Speaker 21: No, all right, but they GTAs not even Rockstar in
- 2:06:47Speaker 21: general is under a lot of fire right now. They
- 2:06:50Speaker 21: so they've laid off about thirty employees all because these
- 2:06:53Speaker 21: thirty people were trying to unionize Rockstar Games.
- 2:06:57Speaker 3: Were they really Yeah, they don't care for that.
- 2:06:59Speaker 8: No Rockstar. It's like, we're a billion dollar company.
- 2:07:01Speaker 3: Get to the curve as Starbucks.
- 2:07:03Speaker 2: How it's going.
- 2:07:04Speaker 21: Yeah, so they're none in no legal trouble in the US.
- 2:07:08Speaker 8: Only in the UK.
- 2:07:10Speaker 3: So just because of censorship stuff.
- 2:07:12Speaker 8: I have no clue why.
- 2:07:13Speaker 21: But the UK is like really really going after rock
- 2:07:16Speaker 21: Star really yeah.
- 2:07:18Speaker 3: Fighting for a dental plan.
- 2:07:23Speaker 21: I'm sorry they need their beans in the morning.
- 2:07:26Speaker 2: It still works. Oh god, it's still the most disgusting
- 2:07:28Speaker 2: food on planet Earth.
- 2:07:30Speaker 8: Uh, leading in beans and toasts. Yeah, have you had it?
- 2:07:35Speaker 2: Looks like prison food, it does. When they're like this
- 2:07:38Speaker 2: is a traditional English breakfast, I'm like, these people hate their.
- 2:07:42Speaker 3: It's terrible.
- 2:07:43Speaker 7: Man.
- 2:07:43Speaker 2: I look at that food as it does. It looks
- 2:07:45Speaker 2: like something that it doesn't It looks like a prison plate.
- 2:07:47Speaker 8: It does.
- 2:07:48Speaker 2: It looks like a summer camp plate where they just
- 2:07:50Speaker 2: kind of threw together stuff left ever from last season.
- 2:07:53Speaker 21: Anyway, I can't get over. That's gonna be stuck in
- 2:07:55Speaker 21: my head all day.
- 2:07:56Speaker 2: So sorry.
- 2:07:57Speaker 21: Speaking of GTA six, uh, people are thinking they're putting
- 2:08:00Speaker 21: a little bit of GTA six.
- 2:08:01Speaker 8: Into g t A five.
- 2:08:03Speaker 21: The online version of g t A five got two updates. Well,
- 2:08:07Speaker 21: one's coming in December. The other one was just a
- 2:08:09Speaker 21: couple of weeks ago. A bunch of new businesses, new missions,
- 2:08:12Speaker 21: way to make money. But the biggest thing that's happening
- 2:08:15Speaker 21: in GTA five is they're adding mansion mansions you can buy,
- 2:08:18Speaker 21: you can live in, you can do.
- 2:08:20Speaker 3: Really, I bet you can change. Yeah, let me ask
- 2:08:23Speaker 3: you this.
- 2:08:23Speaker 5: If GTA five I haven't, I haven't played it in years, right,
- 2:08:27Speaker 5: but I still have it. These updates, do you have
- 2:08:30Speaker 5: to pay for them or it's automatically included?
- 2:08:33Speaker 21: Right, It's like, uh, it's like live service games off
- 2:08:35Speaker 21: live service games. Really, all you do is just download
- 2:08:38Speaker 21: an update and you're just play.
- 2:08:40Speaker 5: If I if I pop that game in tonight to play,
- 2:08:42Speaker 5: it's going to do an update and then probably you know,
- 2:08:45Speaker 5: seven hours later, it'll be ready to play.
- 2:08:47Speaker 8: It's probably it's probably not that big of an update.
- 2:08:49Speaker 3: But yes, I tell you, it's been a while since
- 2:08:51Speaker 3: I've put that game.
- 2:08:52Speaker 21: Yeah, I uh, speaking a minute, Speaking of downloads, I
- 2:08:55Speaker 21: downloaded Black Ops seven over the weekend. You want to
- 2:08:58Speaker 21: guess how long that took me to download?
- 2:08:59Speaker 8: Just take a guess.
- 2:09:00Speaker 21: Two hours twelve really two hundred and forty five gigabytes?
- 2:09:05Speaker 3: Did you clear everything else off your hard drive?
- 2:09:07Speaker 8: I had to, unfortunately, just.
- 2:09:09Speaker 2: Remind every time I downloaded new and I delete the
- 2:09:11Speaker 2: ones that I don't use anymore, because I mean, I
- 2:09:13Speaker 2: need the space.
- 2:09:14Speaker 5: Do you have an external hard drive plugged in yet?
- 2:09:16Speaker 5: I don't know the But you were not big on
- 2:09:19Speaker 5: the Black Ops. You were more big on Battlefield. Yeah,
- 2:09:22Speaker 5: have you played Black Ops seven? The ads are all
- 2:09:25Speaker 5: over the place for this I have.
- 2:09:27Speaker 8: Now, I have a couple of things to say.
- 2:09:29Speaker 21: Don't even waste your eye vision on playing this campaign.
- 2:09:32Speaker 21: It is the worst story mode I've ever seen in
- 2:09:35Speaker 21: a Call of Duty.
- 2:09:36Speaker 3: That's all I would play.
- 2:09:37Speaker 8: That's funny, don't don't don't.
- 2:09:39Speaker 3: I'm not even But what makes.
- 2:09:41Speaker 2: It was so much worse than another one?
- 2:09:42Speaker 3: What?
- 2:09:42Speaker 2: What? I mean? What? What?
- 2:09:43Speaker 7: Dude? You have?
- 2:09:44Speaker 21: I don't even know where to start. You have these
- 2:09:46Speaker 21: weird demons and they like take over characters. They turn
- 2:09:49Speaker 21: into giant alien monsters. At one point, there's a giant
- 2:09:53Speaker 21: thirty feet Tomahawk coming down to the ground to hit
- 2:09:56Speaker 21: some it makes no sense.
- 2:09:57Speaker 5: Are you the one you gave me doesn't make an
- 2:09:58Speaker 5: eximt Are you familiar with when he says story mode
- 2:10:01Speaker 5: or campaign mode?
- 2:10:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:10:03Speaker 3: So that's that is shut up. That is a single
- 2:10:06Speaker 3: player game.
- 2:10:07Speaker 5: If you were gonna play, you could have the experience
- 2:10:10Speaker 5: and play it. But it's only you playing against.
- 2:10:13Speaker 3: The computer, right, OK?
- 2:10:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it online.
- 2:10:16Speaker 5: When you talk about online, that's every all real playing
- 2:10:20Speaker 5: against other people and they all have their own characters
- 2:10:22Speaker 5: in this virtual environment. Other people are killing you. Meanwhile
- 2:10:26Speaker 5: in campaign mode, you are doing the mission. It's whatever.
- 2:10:29Speaker 5: Story It's like you're a character in the movie.
- 2:10:32Speaker 3: Got it.
- 2:10:32Speaker 5: But what he's saying is this movie is not so bad.
- 2:10:35Speaker 5: Great movie sucks because of the campaign mode at it sucks.
- 2:10:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:10:38Speaker 21: To put in perspective, every Call of Duty campaign has
- 2:10:40Speaker 21: been about like war and you know, inside government and
- 2:10:43Speaker 21: stuff like.
- 2:10:43Speaker 2: This one's about sewing pretty much.
- 2:10:46Speaker 21: Yeah, yeah, it's pretty much sewing. I rather sew than
- 2:10:48Speaker 21: play this campaign. To put in perspective for you. But
- 2:10:51Speaker 21: when you play the multiplayer, oh boy, do I love
- 2:10:53Speaker 21: that multiplayerly?
- 2:10:54Speaker 6: Oh?
- 2:10:55Speaker 7: I love it?
- 2:10:55Speaker 2: Is that unique for it to have one so bad
- 2:10:57Speaker 2: in one mode and be it really good in the
- 2:10:59Speaker 2: other or is.
- 2:11:00Speaker 8: That no, it's Call of Duty.
- 2:11:01Speaker 21: Usually campaign's pretty good and the multiplayer sucks or vice versas.
- 2:11:04Speaker 21: I guess there's never just all great games Call of Duty.
- 2:11:08Speaker 8: Uh, but I love it.
- 2:11:10Speaker 21: There's no skill based matchmaking, which has killed Call of Duty.
- 2:11:13Speaker 21: It's the first Call of Duty to not have skill
- 2:11:14Speaker 21: based matchmaking since m W nineteen. Skill based matchmaking means.
- 2:11:19Speaker 2: I know what it means. Stop you sure, no, I don't.
- 2:11:22Speaker 8: Yeah, that's that's what I thought.
- 2:11:23Speaker 5: That that means what he's saying. If I correct, If
- 2:11:27Speaker 5: you guys got into the same game, like they match
- 2:11:31Speaker 5: you with him, and he's a gamer and you're a nube.
- 2:11:34Speaker 5: Oh I see so in other words, they match over
- 2:11:36Speaker 5: with people equal skill skill based.
- 2:11:38Speaker 21: Yeah yeah, so, but skill based destroyed Call of Duty.
- 2:11:41Speaker 21: You got punished for doing good in the video game
- 2:11:43Speaker 21: because you pop off for a crazy game, and then
- 2:11:47Speaker 21: now you're in a lobby full of just pro players,
- 2:11:50Speaker 21: Like it's the hardest game you've ever played. Now you
- 2:11:52Speaker 21: can pup stop it's like back in the day. You
- 2:11:54Speaker 21: join any lobby, I'm dropping fifty on you, no, no problem. Yeah,
- 2:11:57Speaker 21: it's great.
- 2:11:58Speaker 3: I'm sure I know what all this means. What what?
- 2:12:00Speaker 3: What did he just say? Is he talking about gambling?
- 2:12:04Speaker 3: Shooting threes?
- 2:12:05Speaker 8: Yeah, there we go.
- 2:12:06Speaker 2: I'm all in the basketball paint.
- 2:12:09Speaker 8: Yeah, oh yeah, fifty into paint.
- 2:12:11Speaker 3: That's impressive.
- 2:12:11Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 2:12:13Speaker 6: Be careful, I know that was a pee by the way,
- 2:12:17Speaker 6: paint paint.
- 2:12:19Speaker 3: She's making a taint joke.
- 2:12:20Speaker 8: I realized it took me a second second.
- 2:12:24Speaker 2: See this is a language you don't speak.
- 2:12:25Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I don't speak real radioly and you.
- 2:12:29Speaker 21: Anyways, the campaign or the camos are super easy to get.
- 2:12:32Speaker 21: Camo challenges aren't hard. It's it's a fun game. It's
- 2:12:35Speaker 21: a good game. I really enjoy it. How long why
- 2:12:37Speaker 21: be playing this game? Probably about two weeks and then
- 2:12:39Speaker 21: I'll give up on You'll be done with it?
- 2:12:41Speaker 8: Yeah? Probably.
- 2:12:41Speaker 5: I don't think Jimmy's hard drive is enough. He couldn't
- 2:12:44Speaker 5: put this one game on.
- 2:12:45Speaker 8: It, right, two hundred and forty five gigs?
- 2:12:46Speaker 3: Yeah I could not do.
- 2:12:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:12:47Speaker 10: Probably.
- 2:12:47Speaker 2: Well, to be honest with you, I have no interest
- 2:12:49Speaker 2: in him because the games that he gave me. I'm
- 2:12:50Speaker 2: still playing RoboCop and the games that he gave me,
- 2:12:53Speaker 2: like the one that gave me yesterday or this past week.
- 2:12:55Speaker 8: Is crazy a f He's gonna love it.
- 2:12:58Speaker 3: It's called high time. Are your high life? High own life?
- 2:13:02Speaker 3: And holy s you have a gun that talks to you.
- 2:13:05Speaker 2: You're killing your ex Wife's your ex wife banged an
- 2:13:09Speaker 2: alien and you have to kill those those those people are.
- 2:13:13Speaker 3: Coming after you now.
- 2:13:14Speaker 2: And then the alien lands in your ex wife's yard
- 2:13:17Speaker 2: and the aliens come off this alien ship and now
- 2:13:20Speaker 2: you have to kill them. And it's crazy like it
- 2:13:22Speaker 2: and it's it's insane. Yeah, like don't but you're just
- 2:13:26Speaker 2: shooting people. That's all it is.
- 2:13:28Speaker 3: You're just wandering through an area in shooting people.
- 2:13:31Speaker 8: I told he was an acid trip of a video
- 2:13:33Speaker 8: dat and I.
- 2:13:35Speaker 3: Don't even know where to go.
- 2:13:36Speaker 2: Like the first part of it is like when they
- 2:13:38Speaker 2: and by the way, the guy who narrates it is
- 2:13:41Speaker 2: the guy's divorce lawyer. He goes, hey, this is Bill,
- 2:13:43Speaker 2: your divorce lawyer, and he and he constantly reminds him that.
- 2:13:47Speaker 2: He says he's his divorce lawyer. And it makes you laugh.
- 2:13:51Speaker 3: Out loud after about the fifth time.
- 2:13:52Speaker 2: Because he sounds just like a damn divorce lawyer.
- 2:13:56Speaker 4: It's insane.
- 2:13:57Speaker 2: I mean, I'm telling you He's like, Hey, this is
- 2:13:58Speaker 2: Phill your divorce lawyer. You just told him you're gonna
- 2:14:01Speaker 2: shoot all these uh I think he remembers, and he
- 2:14:04Speaker 2: called he and they hurse like crazy, dude, this thing
- 2:14:07Speaker 2: is f bomb crazy.
- 2:14:10Speaker 21: I can't wait for you to get so much further
- 2:14:11Speaker 21: in this game. Oh my god, you can't just you
- 2:14:14Speaker 21: can't wait. It is the one of the most fun
- 2:14:16Speaker 21: campaigns I really have every played.
- 2:14:17Speaker 2: I have to tell you it is right off rip.
- 2:14:20Speaker 2: I was like, oh man, because here's the other thing,
- 2:14:22Speaker 2: like the rope coops. Fum because of the shooting and
- 2:14:24Speaker 2: the way the thing maneuvers. But it doesn't really say
- 2:14:27Speaker 2: or do anything right. I mean, this thing is like
- 2:14:29Speaker 2: chat natcha talking to you. It's got jokes. It's actually
- 2:14:33Speaker 2: very fun.
- 2:14:33Speaker 21: Yeah, you made a new friend there with your little gun.
- 2:14:38Speaker 3: Like that. I will snatch you up by your hoodie.
- 2:14:42Speaker 3: Do not say anything like that.
- 2:14:44Speaker 2: You're the son of a bitch out there. You But
- 2:14:46Speaker 2: I believe, I believe we do have a show title.
- 2:14:49Speaker 6: Yeah, made a friend with your little gun.
- 2:14:53Speaker 3: I've made a couple of friends with my little gun.
- 2:14:55Speaker 2: Buddy. It's got me, you know.
- 2:14:59Speaker 21: I have one last piece of news. It was pretty
- 2:15:01Speaker 21: big while I was gone. The Steam Machine is coming out.
- 2:15:04Speaker 21: I talked about a new console every week. It feels like, Uh,
- 2:15:07Speaker 21: I've talked about Steam marketplace to buy video games. They've
- 2:15:11Speaker 21: had the Steam Deck, which is the portable video game. Well,
- 2:15:13Speaker 21: they're coming out with their whole new console. You can
- 2:15:16Speaker 21: use any controller you like, from from Xbox PlayStation to
- 2:15:20Speaker 21: the Steam Machine controller. You could probably plug in a
- 2:15:22Speaker 21: GameCube controller if you're feeling frisky.
- 2:15:25Speaker 8: There's two I.
- 2:15:27Speaker 16: Like your concept of feeling prison.
- 2:15:30Speaker 8: There's two versions.
- 2:15:32Speaker 7: This guy.
- 2:15:32Speaker 2: This guy's crazy. He doesn't even use the real game controller.
- 2:15:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's another game. This guy's a maniac.
- 2:15:41Speaker 21: You can get the five hundred and twelve gigabyte version.
- 2:15:44Speaker 21: You can get the two terabyte version. It's not like
- 2:15:47Speaker 21: it's kind of like a PC, but in a console,
- 2:15:49Speaker 21: super small, you can put it anywhere, super portable.
- 2:15:52Speaker 4: Uh.
- 2:15:52Speaker 21: This is the first like really big console for Valve.
- 2:15:55Speaker 21: They have the Steam Deck, but honestly, who cares about
- 2:15:58Speaker 21: the Steam Deck? Oh really Yeah, it's just not something
- 2:16:01Speaker 21: that interests me. You could interest someone. But with all
- 2:16:03Speaker 21: these leaks coming out about this console, it has people
- 2:16:08Speaker 21: really excited for new Valve games.
- 2:16:09Speaker 8: Half Life three.
- 2:16:10Speaker 2: What's a Valve game that's.
- 2:16:12Speaker 21: The company that makes Oh I see in this console
- 2:16:15Speaker 21: and all that got A lot of people are really
- 2:16:17Speaker 21: hoping for Half Life three, and it looks like it's
- 2:16:19Speaker 21: gonna happen after about twenty five years. Yeah, people say
- 2:16:22Speaker 21: this is Half Life one and two are the greatest
- 2:16:24Speaker 21: video games ever, So this is this.
- 2:16:25Speaker 8: Is pretty exciting.
- 2:16:26Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 2:16:27Speaker 21: But I want Left foard Dead three. I could care
- 2:16:29Speaker 21: less about Half Life three. Give me the Left foot
- 2:16:30Speaker 21: Dead three.
- 2:16:32Speaker 2: What's the what's the closest game to Red Dead or
- 2:16:34Speaker 2: is there a new kind of game like that where
- 2:16:37Speaker 2: it's like you mosey through a world like that, Or
- 2:16:40Speaker 2: is that kind of game kind of dead that Red
- 2:16:42Speaker 2: Dead do it so good that they're not gonna try
- 2:16:44Speaker 2: it again?
- 2:16:44Speaker 21: Or Red Dead's perfect. I don't think there's a game
- 2:16:46Speaker 21: that can compare to it. The closest thing I'd say
- 2:16:49Speaker 21: is GTA, because that's the same company in the counterpart.
- 2:16:52Speaker 2: But what I'm saying is, are there other concepts coming
- 2:16:54Speaker 2: out like that?
- 2:16:55Speaker 6: Jimmy wants to be a digital cowboy?
- 2:16:57Speaker 3: Mimy, I still have to download Red Dead. I'm gonna
- 2:16:59Speaker 3: do it.
- 2:17:00Speaker 8: I'll give you the disc for it.
- 2:17:01Speaker 5: Man, that would be the game to play. He's got
- 2:17:04Speaker 5: a streaming deck, he can't.
- 2:17:06Speaker 8: Oh yeah, you don't have one with a disc.
- 2:17:09Speaker 2: Don't talk to me like that, you and your little gun.
- 2:17:14Speaker 2: Now I'm being shamed. Don't game shame me.
- 2:17:17Speaker 7: You're right.
- 2:17:17Speaker 21: I'm sorry that wrongful shaming. But we need, if we
- 2:17:20Speaker 21: need to get you a better constant.
- 2:17:22Speaker 8: Now I'm kidding.
- 2:17:23Speaker 2: No, you're right.
- 2:17:24Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 2:17:25Speaker 3: Really, Look, I'm having a good time with this one.
- 2:17:28Speaker 2: RoboCop is a blast, and this high on life thing
- 2:17:30Speaker 2: is also showing some great, great pleasure, which is.
- 2:17:33Speaker 6: That I didn't know it's from the creators of Rick
- 2:17:35Speaker 6: and Morty, which is why it's so wild. So thanks
- 2:17:37Speaker 6: the person who texted us at seven seven zero three one. Dude,
- 2:17:40Speaker 6: I'm telling you it's bananas.
- 2:17:42Speaker 3: Just the narrative and it looks kind of it kind
- 2:17:44Speaker 3: of ate bitty.
- 2:17:45Speaker 2: It's not really super clean up front, and it just
- 2:17:48Speaker 2: when in this guy, I'm telling you this divorceal of
- 2:17:50Speaker 2: your guys killing me like, he just pops up in
- 2:17:52Speaker 2: a circle and he goes, hey, it's fill your divorce,
- 2:17:54Speaker 2: your divorce attorney. You have to go down this hallway
- 2:17:56Speaker 2: and take a left and you gotta blow all these
- 2:17:57Speaker 2: and he's like calling him names. He's like ragging on
- 2:18:00Speaker 2: the dude's ex wife.
- 2:18:01Speaker 3: It's great.
- 2:18:04Speaker 2: I mean, it's great.
- 2:18:05Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 2:18:05Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:18:06Speaker 8: Yeah, I played it. I haven't played the DC.
- 2:18:08Speaker 21: They changed the voice, characters and everything for that, so
- 2:18:10Speaker 21: I stayed away from the DC.
- 2:18:12Speaker 8: But maybe maybe I'll get to it.
- 2:18:13Speaker 2: There's another one too. I download the one that I have,
- 2:18:15Speaker 2: and then there's a High on Life two or a
- 2:18:18Speaker 2: High Life and there's another version of it as well.
- 2:18:20Speaker 8: I think that's the DC I'm telling it about.
- 2:18:22Speaker 21: Yeah, they changed the voice actors and everything.
- 2:18:25Speaker 8: Yeah, justin Royland.
- 2:18:26Speaker 2: Not the greatest guys. Good job today, buddy, thank you,
- 2:18:32Speaker 2: give it up. Good lun for JDS.
- 2:18:34Speaker 5: Hey, Josh Allen Jr.
- 2:18:37Speaker 6: Texters and I'll be posting the podcast.
- 2:18:40Speaker 2: In just moments. All right, what do you have for news?
- 2:18:42Speaker 6: We're going to talk about a system detecting a student
- 2:18:44Speaker 6: with a loaded gun in Bervard County. Roof repairs are
- 2:18:47Speaker 6: made at Trump Canna Field, and Amazon Prime is sending
- 2:18:51Speaker 6: out refunds. We'll talk about that next during you heard
- 2:18:54Speaker 6: it here first?
- 2:18:55Speaker 3: All right, seven to seven zero three one.

- 2:20:26Speaker 2: first time.
- 2:20:27Speaker 3: I swear to God that that show has grandkids.
- 2:20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that thing has literally been on the air forl
- 2:20:31Speaker 2: like what eighteen twenty years.
- 2:20:32Speaker 5: Yeah, he was off for a while and then we
- 2:20:35Speaker 5: were able to bring him back.

- 2:20:43Speaker 2: Our good friend Josh works with him as well.
- 2:20:47Speaker 5: But actually he's the secret weapon, and really the reason

- 2:20:50Speaker 3: Air, is it really ye? Yeah, yeah, he's great man.
- 2:20:52Speaker 5: Yeah, we needed someone to be able to worked here,
- 2:20:55Speaker 5: to be able to be part of the show.
- 2:20:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he was it. All right, welcome back.
- 2:20:59Speaker 2: I'm' I love Jack is here as well for a
- 2:21:03Speaker 2: few more minutes, Yeah, just for a few more minutes.
- 2:21:05Speaker 6: I did send you the article from Food and Wine.
- 2:21:07Speaker 6: We didn't get a chance to talk about it, but oh,
- 2:21:10Speaker 6: the cranberryes, the cranberry sauce. They rated their favorites that
- 2:21:14Speaker 6: come in a can.
- 2:21:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, ocean spray. How does that rank?
- 2:21:17Speaker 2: Is it number one? It's one of the top.
- 2:21:19Speaker 3: Is it really so?
- 2:21:20Speaker 5: Speaking to recipes and the holidays, Jim's Devil to Egg
- 2:21:23Speaker 5: recipe is now in gym members on Facebook.
- 2:21:26Speaker 3: So if you go to Facebook, if you start.
- 2:21:28Speaker 5: As gym members Jim Jim members, if you need to
- 2:21:31Speaker 5: be added to the group just requested, we'll get you
- 2:21:33Speaker 5: added ASAPI debs in charge of that and you'll be.
- 2:21:37Speaker 3: Able to see the recipe there. Copy it for your
- 2:21:40Speaker 3: dining pleasure.
- 2:21:40Speaker 2: There you go, Thank you, Pa McGhee. The best overall
- 2:21:44Speaker 2: cranberry I've never even seen before. It's called either to
- 2:21:47Speaker 2: tree wild cranberry sauce and basically it's it's exactly what
- 2:21:50Speaker 2: you would make in your kitchen.
- 2:21:51Speaker 7: That is.
- 2:21:52Speaker 6: But what I was surprised though that the ocean spray,
- 2:21:55Speaker 6: the jellied one came in number two with the with
- 2:21:58Speaker 6: the rings from the can.
- 2:22:00Speaker 3: I am a fan Trader Joe's.
- 2:22:01Speaker 6: I believe is the one that came in. Was it
- 2:22:04Speaker 6: Trader Joe's And listen at the bottom.
- 2:22:06Speaker 3: And take this tip from me. Okay, you want to
- 2:22:08Speaker 3: go Jim's bougie way. Yeah, it's cheap. You get the
- 2:22:11Speaker 3: real cranberry bud. It's a easy sugar by We make.
- 2:22:14Speaker 5: It also get the can, and let me tell you why,
- 2:22:17Speaker 5: because the leftovers you're gonna have for Thanksgiving are going
- 2:22:20Speaker 5: to be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, right, and the leftovers
- 2:22:23Speaker 5: are great, But what really puts those leftovers over the
- 2:22:27Speaker 5: top or is gravy and the cranberry sauce. So make
- 2:22:31Speaker 5: sure you don't run out.
- 2:22:32Speaker 3: You keep it. If you keep a can in the
- 2:22:35Speaker 3: in the pantry on Sunday when you.
- 2:22:37Speaker 5: Still have food but you're out of cranberry sauce, just
- 2:22:40Speaker 5: open up the can.
- 2:22:41Speaker 3: Boom, You're good, you're going again. Let's go. Thanks me wrong,
- 2:22:47Speaker 3: you don't know, you're right?
- 2:22:49Speaker 2: I don't, but I love making Granbary sauce, that's for sure.
- 2:22:53Speaker 2: Then you enjoy yourself, all right, deb let's.
- 2:22:55Speaker 3: Do you heard it here first? You've been saucy. I
- 2:22:58Speaker 3: don't care for it.
- 2:23:00Speaker 2: You heard it here first on the colberg l I
- 2:23:03Speaker 2: forgot to ask today, all right, what.
- 2:23:09Speaker 6: A weapons detection system in Bervard County is to thank
- 2:23:12Speaker 6: for nabbing a student with a loaded gun?
- 2:23:14Speaker 2: Love it?
- 2:23:15Speaker 17: So?
- 2:23:15Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 2:23:16Speaker 6: If we've ever wondered if these things actually work, they do.
- 2:23:19Speaker 6: The potential threat was averted at Palm Bay Magnet High School.
- 2:23:23Speaker 6: The weapon was confiscated, the student was taken into police
- 2:23:25Speaker 6: custody without incident. In fact, this detection system nabbed them
- 2:23:29Speaker 6: before they were even able to get onto the property.
- 2:23:33Speaker 3: Wow, that's awesome.
- 2:23:34Speaker 6: So he never got around any students.
- 2:23:36Speaker 3: That's the AI thing. I don't know about that. Or
- 2:23:39Speaker 3: is it a detector?
- 2:23:40Speaker 2: It's a detector. Oh, I got you. Okay.
- 2:23:42Speaker 6: School officials confirmed there were no threats made towards students
- 2:23:45Speaker 6: or staff. All right, Tropic Cana Field is ready to
- 2:23:49Speaker 6: welcome the Tampa Bay Rays back home today. The final
- 2:23:53Speaker 6: roof panel was recently installed, marking a significant milestone for
- 2:23:57Speaker 6: the stadium. The roof had been undergoing repairs since last
- 2:24:01Speaker 6: October when Hurricane Milton blew it off. Interior work is
- 2:24:05Speaker 6: now underway. They said, all the air tests came back.
- 2:24:07Speaker 6: Everything is cusher and copathetic.
- 2:24:09Speaker 5: It feels like the final nail in the coffin to
- 2:24:11Speaker 5: the hope and dream of baseball in our land outpore.
- 2:24:14Speaker 6: Oh but wait, we'll get some you know, sloppy. I'd
- 2:24:17Speaker 6: be second baseball.
- 2:24:20Speaker 5: And then finally, yeah, you know what, It'll be the
- 2:24:24Speaker 5: only affordable baseball you can go.
- 2:24:26Speaker 6: Seriously and then millions of Amazon Prime customers are getting
- 2:24:31Speaker 6: automatic refund. Talk to me, it's the result of the
- 2:24:34Speaker 6: company's two point five billion dollars settlement with the Federal
- 2:24:38Speaker 6: Trade Commission. Now this is important because we've been told
- 2:24:41Speaker 6: to ignore emails and stuff like that, right if they're unsolicited, yeah,
- 2:24:45Speaker 6: for sure, But you should get an email from Amazon
- 2:24:47Speaker 6: asking you to claim the money through PayPal or Venmo
- 2:24:51Speaker 6: if you're entitled to an automatic refund, or you can
- 2:24:54Speaker 6: also choose to get a check in the mail.
- 2:24:58Speaker 3: They do this on purpose.
- 2:25:00Speaker 5: Do this on purpose because they know everyone's scared, because
- 2:25:03Speaker 5: they've been trained. Anytime you get a call and it's
- 2:25:05Speaker 5: it's always, it's always a scam. Exactly Amazon scam, and
- 2:25:08Speaker 5: now we're supposed to believe it.
- 2:25:10Speaker 2: It's like the AT and T one where you have
- 2:25:11Speaker 2: to write a letter. As if we can write.
- 2:25:13Speaker 3: Why can't they just credit your account?
- 2:25:16Speaker 2: I don't know easily. I don't know that.
- 2:25:18Speaker 6: But again, like you said, everything about that would sound
- 2:25:21Speaker 6: on everyone's alarms as being a phishing scheme. Now, this
- 2:25:24Speaker 6: applies to people who enrolled in Prime between June twenty
- 2:25:27Speaker 6: nineteen and June twenty twenty five and didn't use the
- 2:25:30Speaker 6: service more than three times in a year. There you go,
- 2:25:33Speaker 6: and you heard it here first on the Jim Colbert Show.
- 2:25:36Speaker 2: Thank you ever appreciate that very much? Do we have
- 2:25:40Speaker 2: to think to that?
- 2:25:40Speaker 6: Well, we want to thank Corona Cigar Company. Don't forget
- 2:25:43Speaker 6: they're great. Forty percent off deal this year this week. Yeah,
- 2:25:47Speaker 6: the Corona Cigar.
- 2:25:48Speaker 2: Coll Oh yeah, yeah. The Monte Crystal Toomey pack is
- 2:25:51Speaker 2: up there right now. Just go grab it one thirty
- 2:25:53Speaker 2: two and it's usually two hundred and twenty dollars, so
- 2:25:55Speaker 2: it's forty percent off. Yeah, you're right, excellent.
- 2:25:57Speaker 6: Also want to thank Fayezcara, restaurant critic for Orlando Weekly.
- 2:26:01Speaker 6: I also want to thank Jade and Grime with this
- 2:26:03Speaker 6: eight bit update just in case you missed Fayez's reviews
- 2:26:06Speaker 6: of local restaurants or the gaming discussion. Both podcasts have
- 2:26:09Speaker 6: been posted at The Jim Culbert Show. And then, last
- 2:26:12Speaker 6: but never least, Sam Bowen and Candice Rich for running
- 2:26:15Speaker 6: our YouTube chat.
- 2:26:16Speaker 3: Hey, I appreciate that, Jack.

- 2:26:25Speaker 5: a good relationship with them.
- 2:26:28Speaker 3: No, you know, you don't think so. You think most
- 2:26:30Speaker 3: of them are rest.
- 2:26:31Speaker 2: I was talking about my step siblings. Yeah, you know,
- 2:26:33Speaker 2: I have a It's funny she is my sister now
- 2:26:36Speaker 2: because my dad adopted her. But I have one. I
- 2:26:38Speaker 2: got one of the luckiest. I got one of the
- 2:26:40Speaker 2: greatest of all time. My sister Jennifer is one of
- 2:26:42Speaker 2: the greatest human beings I've ever met. Her brother is not.
- 2:26:45Speaker 2: But it's fifty to fifty with me. I would say, Man,
- 2:26:49Speaker 2: I got to tell you, I think those are some
- 2:26:50Speaker 2: weird relationships. Sometimes I'll go thirty five percent.
- 2:26:53Speaker 5: Due sixty eight percent said, yes, they have a good chat.
- 2:26:57Speaker 2: That's great. Yeah, I didn't hear that.
