- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show, live from the WOR LifeVac studios. Well, hey,
- 0:10Speaker 1: the police commissioner, everybody likes Jessica Tisch. They think she's
- 0:13Speaker 1: doing a good job, but there's pressure on Mondani to
- 0:18Speaker 1: get rid of her. Pressure from who? From the democratic socialists.
- 0:22Speaker 1: In other words, the anti-Semites. They don't want a Jewish
- 0:25Speaker 1: police commissioner. The anti-Semites just going nuts. demanding she be fired.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Mom Donnie, what's he going to do?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Over the last 10 months that we've worked together, we
- 0:35Speaker 2: have delivered the lowest recorded number of murders in our
- 0:37Speaker 2: city's history, the lowest recorded number of shootings, as well
- 0:40Speaker 2: as shooting victims.
- 0:42Speaker 1: All right. I think, is that a full defense? I think, well,
- 0:49Speaker 1: when you hear the low crime rate, it's the murder
- 0:51Speaker 1: rate is way down. There is a rise in subway crime,
- 0:56Speaker 1: some robbery in some precincts. Now, again, one of the
- 1:00Speaker 1: reasons crime is down is ICE took about 2,000 dangerous
- 1:05Speaker 1: criminals off the streets of New York. Almost 2,000. They've
- 1:09Speaker 1: taken 600,000 off the streets of the United States. That's
- 1:14Speaker 1: one reason you're seeing a crime drop everywhere. Massive difference
- 1:19Speaker 1: when you take all these criminals off the street. Let's
- 1:23Speaker 1: take some calls. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 1:26Speaker 1: how are you doing?
- 1:28Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yes, Mark.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I watched the White House briefing yesterday. I mean, maybe
- 1:34Speaker 3: she wasn't as cool and composed as a world-renowned actress
- 1:38Speaker 3: like Selma Blair, but she was fine.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Yeah, she was a little shaky, a little shaky, a
- 1:44Speaker 1: little nervous, but that's happened before press secretaries on their
- 1:47Speaker 1: first day.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Of course. And, you know, the larger point to all
- 1:51Speaker 3: of this stuff, and you went over it in your opening,
- 1:54Speaker 3: is anything to sully... Anything to sully the president, essentially,
- 2:02Speaker 3: is their thing. They humiliate right out of the Alinsky
- 2:05Speaker 3: playbook to humiliate the opponents. So if they can humiliate
- 2:09Speaker 3: her by extension, it humiliates Trump and so forth. Same
- 2:12Speaker 3: thing with Hochul and her attacks on Blakeman. You're a
- 2:18Speaker 3: friend of Trump, and therefore you're a bad guy. They
- 2:21Speaker 3: don't care about the facts or anything or the reality.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And to quote Harry Reid, they do it because it works.
- 2:27Speaker 3: And they understand that. Even a nimwit like Kathy Hochul
- 2:32Speaker 3: can pull it off, which is astonishing. And it works
- 2:35Speaker 3: every single time. This whole attack against Shane Gillis now,
- 2:39Speaker 3: that's all from the left. It's all ginned up. I
- 2:41Speaker 3: thought comedy was sacred. It's fine when Jimmy Kimmel makes
- 2:45Speaker 3: fun of Trump for five years. It's just comedy. Get
- 2:48Speaker 3: a sense of humor. He does it, and they want
- 2:50Speaker 3: to burn him down. So it's all part of a
- 2:54Speaker 3: larger attack on us, you know, the people who think,
- 2:58Speaker 3: you know, normally.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah, no, good point. Excellent call, Mike. That's what they do.
- 3:02Speaker 1: If you watch MSNBC or CNN and read the New
- 3:05Speaker 1: York Times, the whole audience is like sheep. They tell
- 3:10Speaker 1: you what to bleat that day. So yesterday it was
- 3:14Speaker 1: Katie Zakaria, a train wreck, a disaster, a total disaster.
- 3:17Speaker 1: We've seen much worse from press secretaries. Karine Jean-Pierre on
- 3:21Speaker 1: her worst day. On her best day, it wasn't as
- 3:24Speaker 1: good as Katie Zakaria. You know, one thing they went
- 3:26Speaker 1: after her for, she was asked one question where she said,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't have that answer for you. I'll have to
- 3:31Speaker 1: get back to you. Oh, they blasted her all day.
- 3:34Speaker 1: What the hell kind of press secretary is she? She
- 3:36Speaker 1: has to get back to you? Remember, there was a
- 3:40Speaker 1: press secretary who did that with every question. Her name
- 3:42Speaker 1: was Jen Psaki. Every question, I'll have to circle back
- 3:46Speaker 1: to you on that. I'll have to circle back. And
- 3:48Speaker 1: she became known as Circle Back Psaki because she She
- 3:51Speaker 1: did it on every question. But again, it's the famous
- 3:55Speaker 1: double standard the left is famous for. Let's go to
- 3:59Speaker 1: Tom in Queens. Tom, how are you doing?
- 4:02Speaker 3: Hey, Mark.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 4:04Speaker 4: So you brought up a good point with Mondami and
- 4:07Speaker 4: the fact that Hochul, I think Bruce was great and
- 4:13Speaker 4: he missed a good opportunity to go after Mondami by
- 4:17Speaker 4: mentioning the fact that he had a $ 126 billion budget
- 4:21Speaker 4: and that Kathy Hochul had to spend $ 8 billion of
- 4:24Speaker 4: taxpayer money to bail him out.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Well, he did mention all that stuff over and over
- 4:29Speaker 1: and over, especially the $ 8 billion she gave to illegals.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You've got to remember, Blakeman was great last night. Whenever
- 4:35Speaker 1: you're on anything, debate, anything, you do a great job.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Every time you turn around, there'll be a guy saying, well,
- 4:44Speaker 1: you know, you should have done this. You should have
- 4:46Speaker 1: said this. You should have said this. It's only a
- 4:48Speaker 1: one-hour debate. You can't say anything and everything. If it
- 4:51Speaker 1: was a three-hour debate, you could go after him for that.
- 4:53Speaker 1: But he hit her with a lot of good shots.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Let's go to Leah in Brooklyn. Leah, how are you doing?
- 5:01Speaker 5: Hi, how are you?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Good.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Good. I love your show, first of all. I love
- 5:06Speaker 5: that you have the extra hour. Let me tell you
- 5:09Speaker 5: what I'm calling about.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Uh-oh.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you're in trouble now, but you're not. I live
- 5:15Speaker 5: near the Kings Highway train station in Brooklyn. So there's
- 5:18Speaker 5: two entrances on either side of the street. The first entrance,
- 5:23Speaker 5: they put in this elaborate new system that costs tons
- 5:27Speaker 5: of money.
- 5:28Speaker 1: The new gates?
- 5:29Speaker 5: That sounds great. Yeah, the new gates. They put in
- 5:32Speaker 5: the new gate on one side of the street where
- 5:34Speaker 5: you go in, and that saves tons of money, and
- 5:38Speaker 5: they say there was 35% less evasion. I don't know
- 5:42Speaker 5: why there wouldn't be 100% less, but okay, 35%. But
- 5:46Speaker 5: instead of going in, let's say I'm a fear evader,
- 5:49Speaker 5: instead of going in that way, all you have to
- 5:52Speaker 5: do is cross the street. You have that door exit
- 5:55Speaker 5: that people getting off the train are.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Opening the door. Yeah, well, that's how government works.
- 6:00Speaker 5: No, no, no, wait.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Hey, hey, hey, you wait.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:04Speaker 1: What are you, Selma Blair? You wait.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Listen.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Listen.
- 6:08Speaker 5: There's a guard. There's a guard standing there and he
- 6:11Speaker 5: does nothing. I know.
- 6:13Speaker 1: That's the way it is. She's going to yell at
- 6:14Speaker 1: me again. Am I interrupting you? I don't mean to interrupt.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I love interrupting you because you start yelling.
- 6:19Speaker 5: I just want to hone in this point. A double
- 6:22Speaker 5: waste of money.
- 6:23Speaker 1: No, I know, but that's the way government works. If
- 6:26Speaker 1: they're going to come up with this high security gate,
- 6:28Speaker 1: nobody can get through it. And there's three entrances. They
- 6:31Speaker 1: only put it on one entrance. They forget to put
- 6:33Speaker 1: it on all three. That's how government does it. And
- 6:35Speaker 1: they're wasting money with the guards.
- 6:36Speaker 5: They're wasting money with this and that.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah. All right. Leah, thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 6:43Speaker 1: Virginia in Massapequa. Virginia, how are you doing?
- 6:48Speaker 4: Hi, Mark.
- 6:48Speaker 2: How's it going?
- 6:49Speaker 1: Good.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So anyway, I wanted to talk about the debate last
- 6:53Speaker 2: night very quickly. I don't know if you remember or
- 6:55Speaker 2: if anyone remembers, but when Kathy Hochul debated Lee Zeldin,
- 7:00Speaker 2: they again only showed it on Spectrum News.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 2: So if you listen to her debate, you could pull
- 7:06Speaker 2: it up online. She was a complete bimbo. Lee chewed
- 7:10Speaker 2: her up and spit her out, basically. You can say that,
- 7:14Speaker 2: but she did win.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You can say that, but she won the election. She
- 7:18Speaker 1: won big.
- 7:19Speaker 2: She did win the election because nobody sees it. No
- 7:21Speaker 2: one saw it. I saw it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: After the fact. You can't say she got chewed up
- 7:25Speaker 1: and spit out. Lee's element was great. She still won.
- 7:30Speaker 2: She still won. She looked so stupid. All she talked about,
- 7:33Speaker 2: she talked about the same thing. Guns, guns, guns, no
- 7:36Speaker 2: matter what he said. She looked so dumb. dumb as
- 7:39Speaker 2: dumb can be. In any case, last night I.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Watched it live.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I never realized that Spectrum News was left-leaning. Oh, it's
- 7:46Speaker 2: very left-leaning. They kept interrupting him and I'm like, what
- 7:50Speaker 2: are they doing? I started to get really angry.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I'm like, what is going on?
- 7:54Speaker 1: I kept warning you for days. They're very, very, very
- 7:58Speaker 1: biased at New York One, Spectrum. Very biased. And I
- 8:02Speaker 1: warned you this was going to happen. And every time
- 8:05Speaker 1: she hit Blakeman with something terrible, Can I respond to that? No,
- 8:10Speaker 1: we have to move on. We have to move on.
- 8:11Speaker 1: We have to move on. Wait, is somebody chasing you?
- 8:13Speaker 1: What do you mean you have to move on? That's
- 8:16Speaker 1: the old trick. They do that. Two things they'll do.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Remember they used to do that to Curtis all the
- 8:22Speaker 1: time in those debates because Curtis was pretty good when
- 8:25Speaker 1: he was really about to let the guy have it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm sorry. We have to move on. We have to
- 8:28Speaker 1: move on. We have to talk about climate change. We
- 8:30Speaker 1: have to talk about something else. So New York won.
- 8:35Speaker 1: very biased. That moderator is Errol Lewis. He's a really
- 8:38Speaker 1: nice guy. I used to work with him, but very left-wing, very. Uh,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and then they found that woman who was worse than him. And, uh, the,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I mean, the real reason, Hochul, Hochul has refused every debate.
- 8:52Speaker 1: She turned down channel two, channel four, channel seven, channel five.
- 8:56Speaker 1: She's refused every debate. You only accepted New York one.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Cause New York one hasn't no viewers. Nobody sees it. It, uh,
- 9:05Speaker 1: You know, it's only on one cable system out of
- 9:07Speaker 1: the five in the New York City area. And they
- 9:11Speaker 1: did stream it live on the New York One website.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Who the hell goes to the New York One website?
- 9:15Speaker 1: They did put it on YouTube. I'll give them credit
- 9:18Speaker 1: for that. But who would know that because they're not
- 9:20Speaker 1: watching New York One to know that. Anyway, we've got
- 9:23Speaker 1: a lot to get to today. Don't forget at noon,
- 9:25Speaker 1: it's Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. Then the most listened
- 9:29Speaker 1: to radio show in America, Sean Hannity at three. Jesse
- 9:32Speaker 1: Kelly at 6, the very funny Jimmy Fela. He's here
- 9:36Speaker 1: every night, 9 to midnight. It's all on 710WOR.
