- 0:52Speaker 1: presented by Bojangles. This is just for Will right now,
- 0:56Speaker 1: mine's outside the bus. My man is stuff in his face.
- 0:59Speaker 1: He's earned it. It was a big week. He took
- 1:01Speaker 1: a big l but the but his heart is now full.
- 1:04Speaker 1: We both go back to bleeding Red and Blue for
- 1:06Speaker 1: the remainder of the season. The Bust and Bull has
- 1:08Speaker 1: finally concluded. Michigan is one to zero and boys history
- 1:13Speaker 1: has officially started. I am so excited. I don't know
- 1:18Speaker 1: why you guys didn't start clapping.
- 1:20Speaker 3: That is JP with dipping sauce, honey mustard. Joe was
- 1:25Speaker 3: on the fire.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I know, I know you're tens on right now, but
- 1:30Speaker 4: bo Jane, you get some bo Jangles.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Look, you can pause.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Yeah, as you guys wanted about in the episode, you
- 1:33Speaker 4: can pause.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Now I got a question about this episode. Is this
- 1:37Speaker 1: Jared Allen and Michael Chandler or is this just Michae Chander,
- 1:39Speaker 1: Michael Chandlor, Just Michael Chandler, Michael Chanp.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I absolutely love that weekend update.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Boys.
- 1:45Speaker 1: We lived like we were back in college. It was
- 1:47Speaker 1: an outdid It was an outstanding time. The boys went
- 1:51Speaker 1: to uh ann Arbor. I thought we were staying on campus.
- 1:54Speaker 1: That was a bit of a bummer. We had to
- 1:56Speaker 1: ride through some university here and there in the beginning,
- 1:58Speaker 1: even before we got in the fight. There's a to adversity.
- 2:00Speaker 1: We worked through that. Overall, the vibes this entire weekend
- 2:04Speaker 1: was absolutely incredible. We went to Ricks American Cafe and
- 2:07Speaker 1: it was around eleventh This is the staple of our
- 2:09Speaker 1: Friday night. We went to a Rix American cafe and
- 2:11Speaker 1: it's like eleven thirty and we knew he had a
- 2:13Speaker 1: big day ahead of us. And Will leans to me
- 2:15Speaker 1: and goes, hey, man, some guys just offered me something
- 2:18Speaker 1: called cheese. Is that weed? He go, Buddy, he's talking
- 2:22Speaker 1: about coke. We need to get out of here. We
- 2:24Speaker 1: we should probably go walk outside the place. This is
- 2:29Speaker 1: where I want to give my flowers to to Nebraska.
- 2:32Speaker 1: That fan base travels so well. For those of you
- 2:36Speaker 1: who aren't going to Michigan, the next step is to
- 2:39Speaker 1: go to Nebraska because that fan base is so incredible.
- 2:43Speaker 1: The nil deals they're doing there, it is they were
- 2:47Speaker 1: we walk outside of ricks and they're literally chanting for
- 2:50Speaker 1: the boys or go big Red yelling fuck you Taylor,
- 2:53Speaker 1: like it was a beautiful thing to see.
- 2:55Speaker 2: You got arrested by a cop. Well, bro, travel were.
- 3:00Speaker 3: They were deep in the ann Arbor, like in each bar,
- 3:04Speaker 3: like standing outside wrapped around.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I mean it was that was the only w we
- 3:08Speaker 4: kind of took all weekend.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, travel. We had a great having at ann Arbor. Yeah,
- 3:12Speaker 1: two great colleges, two great college towns coming together, battling
- 3:16Speaker 1: it over the bus.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and you guys did, like you guys whooped our ass.
- 3:19Speaker 3: It is what it is. We had to battle the
- 3:21Speaker 3: elements a little bit. Our quarterback got hurt in the
- 3:24Speaker 3: second quarter. You can never you get down to your
- 3:26Speaker 3: third string quarterback. It's kind of tough to overcome that. Yeah, Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 3: that's a that's a tough deal.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Mission. They look good. They do. They do look good.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Their defense looks good. The offense is.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They have a great running game they're doing for I
- 3:38Speaker 1: think they take the Big Ten this year.
- 3:41Speaker 3: They could they and like you said, like their defense,
- 3:43Speaker 3: they're one of the top defenses in the country, and
- 3:45Speaker 3: like the score could have been way worse than it was.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Like they're obviously playing in the elements as well, and
- 3:50Speaker 3: so they just basically ran the ball because the knew
- 3:51Speaker 3: they were gonna beat us. And they're moving the line
- 3:53Speaker 3: of scrimmers the entire time, bragging about it being against Nebraska.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I don't know how much you can do that, but
- 3:58Speaker 3: they're like Michigan looks like it good football team, and
- 4:01Speaker 3: Blake corn I can't say enough good things about that.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Fucking Yeah, and you actually gotta said too, you DM
- 4:05Speaker 1: this man.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I was trying to get in this out early.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I didn't know if it played against me.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Looking back, it might not have been the best move
- 4:09Speaker 3: because he was probably a little extra motivated to shoving
- 4:12Speaker 3: our face because he loves doing the whole eat the
- 4:14Speaker 3: corn thing. And then I also after the game, I
- 4:17Speaker 3: was like, Yo, this is in the locker room.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I was like, did you see me talking shit about you?
- 4:22Speaker 3: He was like, oh no, I don't see that stuff.
- 4:23Speaker 3: So I had to take a weird humble pie like okay,
- 4:25Speaker 3: you know you didn't peep that, and then weird and
- 4:29Speaker 3: then what did he say?
- 4:30Speaker 2: JPS?
- 4:30Speaker 3: He like walked out and faded, faded out of the
- 4:34Speaker 3: faded out of the locker room and just left me,
- 4:36Speaker 3: just put me in a blender and kind of just
- 4:37Speaker 3: walked off.
- 4:38Speaker 5: He said, oh, yeah, I've been eating corn all my life. Yeah,
- 4:40Speaker 5: and just faded walked away. That was like he didn't
- 4:43Speaker 5: like turn and walk out of the locker room. He
- 4:45Speaker 5: just continued to like shovel and stay squared up.
- 4:47Speaker 2: By the contact all the time.
- 4:48Speaker 3: My contact goes, I've been eating corn my whole life
- 4:50Speaker 3: and just wasn't even like he was smiling, but wasn't
- 4:52Speaker 3: like trying to be funny like yeah, I fucking gotcha.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I'm him right now, Yeah I am.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And it was very it was It was really cool
- 4:58Speaker 1: to see Nebraska like the players. We were on the
- 5:00Speaker 1: sideline for the game, that all the boys went this
- 5:03Speaker 1: online for the game. That was a nice little deal.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But seeing the Nebraska fans like literally Michigan goes in
- 5:08Speaker 1: the tunnel, We go down and Nebraska was like about
- 5:11Speaker 1: to start coming to the tunnel. We start dapping the
- 5:12Speaker 1: boys up. They're all loving on Will. They're yelling bust
- 5:15Speaker 1: and bull all this type of stuff. And I had
- 5:17Speaker 1: like four or five dudes give me the no thank
- 5:18Speaker 1: you high five, like you want just kidding your loser tailor.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So the hate was there, flavor fla was there. The love.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Iut of know where it was. It was cool, it
- 5:32Speaker 2: was it was It was a cool experience.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I liked. The pregaming before was unreal too. We went
- 5:37Speaker 1: to the Lacrosse House. Shout out the boys of the
- 5:39Speaker 1: Lacrosse House. Their ratio of men to women was about
- 5:42Speaker 1: seventeen to one. But those boys didn't give a shit
- 5:45Speaker 1: about nothing.
- 5:46Speaker 2: They were kegan.
- 5:47Speaker 1: They were having a great time the entire time. Their
- 5:49Speaker 1: house disgusting, dude.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I want.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I had to take a shit during that pregame. I
- 5:55Speaker 1: literally went and took a shit, and I thought, should
- 5:58Speaker 1: I have him flush this?
- 5:59Speaker 2: It just kind of goes with.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Like the decor of this home, you know, and they're like, hey,
- 6:03Speaker 1: we got carpet. But the boys of Lacross House shout
- 6:08Speaker 1: the boys. They reached out to the bust and Busting
- 6:10Speaker 1: account and said, you guys got to come here. It's
- 6:11Speaker 1: gonna be popping off at twelve thirty. We show up
- 6:13Speaker 1: casually late twelve thirty five. It was electric. Then there's
- 6:17Speaker 1: some frat party, like we literally have to go to
- 6:19Speaker 1: the game, and then there's this group of people, this
- 6:22Speaker 1: girl with her boyfriend. She's like, we're going to fall
- 6:25Speaker 1: some sort of a bunch of words. That ended up
- 6:27Speaker 1: being a frat and we walked like through these alleyways
- 6:29Speaker 1: with them and that place was going crazy too.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Backyard like in dirt backyard. Yeah, front to back, front
- 6:36Speaker 3: to back. But it was awesome. It was a good
- 6:38Speaker 3: little college experience. You alway, you want to hit those
- 6:40Speaker 3: things right, You want to get into tailgating life.
- 6:43Speaker 4: You want to see what the college kids are doing.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, because you you go back and you're like, I
- 6:47Speaker 1: want to live like I'm back in college again, and like,
- 6:49Speaker 1: there's gonna be a point where you're too old to nine.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I know there's some of you out there going listen
- 6:52Speaker 1: to you're probably too old now. Yeah, they do it
- 6:53Speaker 1: being thirty one years old. But it was a blast,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and we'll receive you paid to do it.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Well, you paid to do it. This is a live.
- 6:59Speaker 2: You guys have to go to the college parties. We
- 7:01Speaker 2: have the best lives of all time.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Break our arm over this, but to have like again,
- 7:06Speaker 3: we're gonna look back one day and know that that
- 7:08Speaker 3: weekend started a tradition.
- 7:10Speaker 2: That's so cool. How dope is that? Man?
- 7:12Speaker 4: We had a trophy, We had a forty pound trophy made.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And they're playing for it's in a trophy case. I
- 7:19Speaker 1: got a text from Zach Center today.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Can you show me right now.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I'll show you right now. Yeah, boys already put it
- 7:25Speaker 3: in a trophy case. After the game, we go into
- 7:27Speaker 3: the locker room, and at first there was like, I
- 7:30Speaker 3: don't know if we should go in the locker room.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I was just trying not to step on toes they
- 7:33Speaker 1: hooked us up. I was just trying to Taylor.
- 7:35Speaker 2: To one in Michigan. We get it. We gotta get
- 7:37Speaker 2: in there somehow.
- 7:38Speaker 3: We go into the locker room and all the boys
- 7:40Speaker 3: are stoked about the trophy. All the position groups are
- 7:43Speaker 3: taking photos. Everybody's talking about it. Dudes are talking shit
- 7:46Speaker 3: to me. Edward's number seventy.
- 7:47Speaker 2: He came up.
- 7:47Speaker 4: He'said, I told you we were gonna get that shit.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Just mad, just mad. You want to get a photo
- 7:53Speaker 2: with He's like.
- 7:53Speaker 4: No, I'm good. I just wanted him to know he
- 7:54Speaker 4: was gonna take that ship out.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Dude.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Hey, Edwards, he's gonna have a long NFL career. That
- 8:00Speaker 1: dude is about his fucking business. Yeah, how cool is
- 8:03Speaker 1: that photo?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Fucking awesome?
- 8:05Speaker 1: I texted Apple off and I said, hey, can you
- 8:07Speaker 1: have some of your media people espress the red button.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I was like, hey, can you have some of your
- 8:12Speaker 1: media people like take like good cameras and get a
- 8:13Speaker 1: photo of that. As I was gonna post that before
- 8:16Speaker 1: we even came here.
- 8:17Speaker 3: We'll have to put it on the YouTube. Show him this,
- 8:20Speaker 3: show him this picture. That's fucking fired.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah sick. I'll send to the group right now.
- 8:24Speaker 1: But it goes hard right next to Paul Budyon Trophy
- 8:26Speaker 1: because he's home and the brown joke.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Now, the goal is, we just got to make sure
- 8:30Speaker 3: that the sonny the equipment manager, make sure that trophy
- 8:33Speaker 3: gets the Lincoln next year to be there on the field.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I think he needed.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That's like step three. Probably Step one is getting Nebraska
- 8:40Speaker 1: to sign off.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Well in the Michigan eighty to sign off.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah, they've looked no, like I'm not even trying to
- 8:46Speaker 1: throw shit at Nebraska, Like what, let me just put
- 8:49Speaker 1: this down with the way what happened in Nebraska this
- 8:51Speaker 1: year is extremely unfortunate. And for them to have an
- 8:53Speaker 1: interim head coach and then go say, okay, we agree
- 8:55Speaker 1: to this trophy game, it completely makes sense why they
- 8:58Speaker 1: would take a step back from that.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I get it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think you go in this off season, you make
- 9:01Speaker 1: a great hire, you get some good recruits, couple of
- 9:03Speaker 1: good transfers, you're started feeling really good about your football
- 9:06Speaker 1: season coming up. That then they can sit there and say, okay,
- 9:08Speaker 1: we'll sign for this. Once they signed well said, Michigan
- 9:12Speaker 1: has already Michigan has already said hey, once they signed
- 9:15Speaker 1: the papers, we'll sign the papers like Jim signed it,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and we'll get the ad to sign it as well.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So that's that's literally the only piece of the puzzle.
- 9:22Speaker 1: We need to make the single official official now, regardless
- 9:25Speaker 1: it's happening again next year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, regardless of
- 9:28Speaker 1: what Nebraska sides to.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Do September, they played September next year.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm stoked about that, cold buddy.
- 9:33Speaker 3: You already know, like it's gonna be hype train going
- 9:36Speaker 3: in the season layout, what our schedule is gonna look
- 9:39Speaker 3: like after you get a peek behind the curtain in springtime,
- 9:43Speaker 3: dove dove dub looking back, that was a bad move
- 9:45Speaker 3: at the moment, Like can you say we'll believe that
- 9:48Speaker 3: or was he being controlled? There's a big part of
- 9:50Speaker 3: me that believed that we were gonna be really good
- 9:53Speaker 3: this year.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but hindsight's always twenty twenty. You're you're gonna have
- 9:56Speaker 1: the same energy next year. Yeah, no, you're right, Yeah,
- 9:59Speaker 1: this it's gonna come back. There's nothing to apologize for
- 10:02Speaker 1: or feel bad about, Like, well, you look, I'm legit
- 10:04Speaker 1: look like like missions going undfeated, they're gonna win the
- 10:07Speaker 1: national championship.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just tough when people put out the receipts
- 10:10Speaker 3: on you look at what you're saying.
- 10:11Speaker 4: You're like, yeah, I do look like a fucking clown.
- 10:15Speaker 2: That is hilarious.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm thinking back to when you were going you were like,
- 10:19Speaker 1: we like pre capping the entire season, are going over
- 10:23Speaker 1: the entire season?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah, what the fuck we have pre capping?
- 10:30Speaker 1: You were pre capping that season, talking crazy too, talking crazy.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So the Bust and Bowl was extremely successful. That was
- 10:38Speaker 1: incredible NFL. There was not a lot going on, but
- 10:42Speaker 1: a dub's a dub. They don't ask how, they ask
- 10:44Speaker 1: how many boys? And then Titans rode high on Sunday.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's a that's a.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Perfect mic Verabel game. Like they talk about all the inactives.
- 10:52Speaker 3: The boys just don't batter on either, like oh we prefer.
- 10:54Speaker 1: To yeah, oh Simmons is out good? Yeah, cutting hymns
- 10:58Speaker 1: out good, it is. It is one of those things, dude,
- 11:02Speaker 1: you just kind of the boys love adversity.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I don't get it.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'm terrified for when they have everybody back, I know,
- 11:08Speaker 1: because they thrive on adversity. Dude, they absolutely thrive on it.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I saw uh no, I'm not going to say that,
- 11:15Speaker 1: but it was a it was an electric game.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I mean, they're up now, like, what's what's the Titans record?
- 11:20Speaker 3: Six and three? Six and three?
- 11:22Speaker 1: And then same as the Bills.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Wow, crazy, same as the Bills playoff started this week,
- 11:27Speaker 3: the Titans would be hosting the Bills.
- 11:31Speaker 1: The Bills now we can probably we can jump on,
- 11:34Speaker 1: we can jump off the Titans train. That's six and
- 11:36Speaker 1: three is incredible. They won Russell Wilson's top five cringiest
- 11:39Speaker 1: people that ever walked this earth. Okay, they're not riding
- 11:43Speaker 1: the Vikings Bills. The game, the Titans game is ending.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I literally look at my phone. Will says, this is
- 11:50Speaker 1: like one of the greatest games ever or whatever whatever
- 11:53Speaker 1: you texted, and all the.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Fucking negative vibes people and Kirk Cousins they're eating ship
- 11:57Speaker 3: right now.
- 11:58Speaker 2: He was going off justin.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Jefferson's catch in that game was maybe the greatest catch
- 12:04Speaker 1: we've ever seen in our lives. And the first when
- 12:06Speaker 1: it comes to my head is Odell's right, his rookie
- 12:08Speaker 1: year against Dallas. Yeah, but I'm saying that catch one handed,
- 12:14Speaker 1: realized that may had two hands on it, and all
- 12:16Speaker 1: he did is lock his wrist and bring that shit down.
- 12:19Speaker 1: That was fourth and eighteen in eighteen with a with
- 12:22Speaker 1: a game on the line. It's not first quarter, yes, bro,
- 12:25Speaker 1: fourth and eighteen. I like, dude, Justin Jefferson is truly
- 12:29Speaker 1: fucking him. He really seems like he's him right, He's the.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Best receiver in the league. Yeah, I don't think you.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I don't disagree with that. But I also in my head,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm like, there's so many good receivers out there.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Oh, for sure.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I mean another receiver on on that field with Stefan Diggs.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Oh, he's a great receiver. I'm saying everybody shitty if
- 12:47Speaker 3: I'm saying he's the best. I'm just saying, like, dude,
- 12:50Speaker 3: he is the best receiver.
- 12:52Speaker 2: In the game right now, and he's going crazy.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Like, does anybody have like stats that's comparative to his
- 12:58Speaker 3: not only from a talnel level, I think it. Stats
- 13:00Speaker 3: are proving that as well.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Going into overtime, he had like one hundred and seventy
- 13:03Speaker 1: yards receiving.
- 13:04Speaker 6: There's was like one ninety. He was the in his
- 13:07Speaker 6: first three seasons. He is the most one hundred yard games.
- 13:10Speaker 6: He's twenty one hundred yard games in three seasons. That's
- 13:12Speaker 6: like a record of anybody. He's insane.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Man.
- 13:15Speaker 6: He tied Odell for the fastest games to get to
- 13:18Speaker 6: four thousand receiving yards.
- 13:21Speaker 7: He's legit.
- 13:22Speaker 3: And I've said a lot of dumb shit this year,
- 13:26Speaker 3: but the boys. Though I did say the vikings, I
- 13:28Speaker 3: did say the vikings for the NFC North. I do want, like,
- 13:31Speaker 3: if people gonna come correct and shit on me, bring
- 13:33Speaker 3: out that receipt as well.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Tyreek is going crazy right now. He didn't really
- 13:43Speaker 1: do much his last game. I didn't get to see
- 13:45Speaker 1: them play, but I do know that that man. I
- 13:48Speaker 1: saw a stat about him and Waddle and then they're
- 13:51Speaker 1: like they're on pace a duo to like break all
- 13:54Speaker 1: the records.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Right right. They got a good stable receiver. That is
- 13:57Speaker 2: pretty That is pretty incredible.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Tyreek Hill has eleven hundred yards receiving already. Justin Jefferson
- 14:06Speaker 5: has one thy sixty but eleven hundred yards receiving and
- 14:11Speaker 5: it's weak.
- 14:11Speaker 4: What Yeah, Yeah, but he's also got the ball twelve
- 14:17Speaker 4: more times.
- 14:17Speaker 2: He's gotten open, twelve more times.
- 14:23Speaker 7: He's played.
- 14:24Speaker 2: He's played one more game too. Oh yeah, they one
- 14:27Speaker 2: more game and yeah I needed to keep going.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he's got twelve more yards and a half a
- 14:31Speaker 1: year or a game fourteen and the most average yards
- 14:35Speaker 1: of the game goes to jeff and Jesson. Yes, Jefferson
- 14:38Speaker 1: are the same too. They're long, their lungs are literally
- 14:42Speaker 1: the same.
- 14:42Speaker 4: I'm just soked for uh kirk Man.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I just like I know, he battles a lot of
- 14:47Speaker 3: like criticism, and it's all fair criticism. It's like they
- 14:49Speaker 3: played a weaker schedule. He doesn't win the big games.
- 14:51Speaker 3: He doesn't rise to the occasion of the Big Bills
- 14:54Speaker 3: mafia though. Yeah, you go to Buffalo, you're down what
- 14:57Speaker 3: were they down out of half? Like twenty one to ten?
- 15:00Speaker 7: They were down seventeen at one point.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, because Buffalo Blue a double digit lead with
- 15:06Speaker 3: that at Buffalo and coming back and literally you see
- 15:08Speaker 3: all the chirps, and I was kind of thinking of myself, Fuck, man,
- 15:10Speaker 3: they have played a week schedule, like they're playing a
- 15:12Speaker 3: good team.
- 15:12Speaker 7: What about that that snap on the goal line?
- 15:16Speaker 1: Oh with with Josh and it'd be a touchdown.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I mean there were Yeah, listen, that's brutal.
- 15:22Speaker 7: If they if you really move, the game's over.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but they didn't.
- 15:27Speaker 7: But they didn't.
- 15:28Speaker 3: That was a brutal. That was a brutal That's a
- 15:30Speaker 3: brutal thing to go down. That's a tough way to
- 15:32Speaker 3: go out.
- 15:32Speaker 1: That's a tough way to go out. And that's not
- 15:35Speaker 1: the first time that's happened with him. Like they also
- 15:37Speaker 1: had that fourth uh Tye had a fourth down stop
- 15:38Speaker 1: against him where he slipped.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Remember, yeah, but he got the ball and was trying
- 15:42Speaker 3: Are you talking about the sneak yes in a touch, Yes, yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm just saying, maybe stay away from sticks for a
- 15:47Speaker 1: little bit Bill's.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Maybe for a little bit.
- 15:49Speaker 1: It's some advice that yeah, we could give here, but
- 15:52Speaker 1: to go into Bill's like Bill's Mafia, their their stadium.
- 15:54Speaker 1: It's loud, it's obnoxious, it's crazy, and do that like
- 15:57Speaker 1: that's a that's a signature winning for the Vikings. To
- 15:59Speaker 1: put a the resume that's gonna help him the rest
- 16:01Speaker 1: of the season.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I think get that fourth, fourth and goal stop for
- 16:06Speaker 3: the Bills, like the Bills stopped him on fourth and short.
- 16:08Speaker 3: To just be hype like we just won this game. Defense,
- 16:11Speaker 3: just won the game. And then fumbling the snap, that's tough,
- 16:14Speaker 3: that's tough.
- 16:15Speaker 1: The uh the overtime was insane too. They literally walked
- 16:18Speaker 1: down there and they took three and Josh Allen was
- 16:21Speaker 1: a man on the man on a mission. He literally
- 16:23Speaker 1: ran for like I think forty yards in that like
- 16:25Speaker 1: that last drive and then you're legit like.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Oh, shoulder down on Eric on Eric Kendricks.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yes, put his shoulder down and Ken gets his leg
- 16:33Speaker 1: and he still hops for like three more yards like
- 16:35Speaker 1: Josh Allen is. I mean, we're throwing this word around
- 16:37Speaker 1: a lot, but he's him.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Like, hey, Kendricks almost get that ball out though, but
- 16:43Speaker 3: he did.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Let's still replay from the bag.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Or shooting hand gerdads and that one ball that's that's
- 16:48Speaker 3: a that's a big motherfucker to bring down.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yes, he's massive, And then I mean that was just
- 16:53Speaker 1: a cool game, cool game to see.
- 16:54Speaker 3: How about Uh, Jeff's Saturday, I'm actually so glad you
- 16:59Speaker 3: brought that up that they beat the Raiders. I hate, like,
- 17:01Speaker 3: you know, I want the Raiders, the Boys, but a
- 17:04Speaker 3: Raider nation. So there's a part of me that one
- 17:06Speaker 3: wants to see Jeff Saturday successful just because of all
- 17:09Speaker 3: of the ship that went on last week in the media.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Joe Thomas in Germany in the show, I'm like, and
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm a individually, I'm a giant Joe Thomas man. I
- 17:19Speaker 1: think he's an incredible dude, his resume of his career,
- 17:24Speaker 1: the guy he is, he's an amazing dude. He wanted
- 17:26Speaker 1: like a three four minute rant about how how ridiculous
- 17:28Speaker 1: this whole entire thing is. It doesn't seem that they
- 17:31Speaker 1: like that was such a staple win. Their offense looked incredible,
- 17:36Speaker 1: like j T was back.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's just big. I'm tuning on. You're good.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'll keep going.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But like for him, for him to do that, and
- 17:43Speaker 1: it's when he was in the locker room post game
- 17:45Speaker 1: and he's talking to the boys, say, hey, we do this,
- 17:47Speaker 1: toughest team wins. You guys were the toughest team today.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You guys showed X, Y and Z. The way he
- 17:51Speaker 1: was talking didn't look like a guy that's like not
- 17:54Speaker 1: a coach. It looks at a guy who's been doing
- 17:56Speaker 1: this for years and was walking up Jeff Saturday like
- 18:01Speaker 1: I want Jeff Saturday to be so successful except for
- 18:04Speaker 1: two games out of the year, you know, and unfortunately
- 18:07Speaker 1: we've we've already waxed that ass twice. So it's all over.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So it's all good. I messed with the Colts still.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I know Titans fans are gonna hate me saying that
- 18:16Speaker 1: I messed with the Colts. I think their team, the
- 18:18Speaker 1: way their bill is extremely extremely tough. They run a
- 18:20Speaker 1: good ball, they play good defense. Uh big, obviously huge
- 18:23Speaker 1: Quentin Nelson fans, He's sent you an amazing text today
- 18:26Speaker 1: out of nowhere, But literally, I'm messed with the Colts.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Like Jacks Houston. It's not the same story over there,
- 18:33Speaker 1: but I think the Colts are a legitimate franchise and
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm stoked to see that he's doing well all.
- 18:37Speaker 4: The boys over there. Quentin Nelson, Dennis Kelly.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, absolutely, and hey, but Jackson Houston texting guys
- 18:43Speaker 1: want to sit here, They're more than welcome to, but
- 18:45Speaker 1: they got to defend themselves a little bit.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I just think it's like, I understand criticizing the hiring
- 18:50Speaker 3: process a wholeheartedly, Saturday. Yeah, I understand getting to critiquing
- 18:55Speaker 3: that hiring process of it all, but to continue to
- 18:58Speaker 3: double triple, quadruple down on it seems like you're rooting
- 19:03Speaker 3: against Jeff Saturday. Like all the stuff that was going on,
- 19:06Speaker 3: Like people are coming out with their own videos, like
- 19:08Speaker 3: you said, Joe Thomas, he's going for three or four minutes.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yeah, he was on like Good Morning football or something
- 19:13Speaker 1: saying that, right.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you see a lot of people like speaking out
- 19:16Speaker 3: about it, like they want to speak out about it
- 19:18Speaker 3: so much.
- 19:18Speaker 4: But to act like Jeff Saturday wouldn't.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Be like, it's not like Ersa just hired his buddy
- 19:25Speaker 3: because he's just oh, that's my boy, I'm gonna hire
- 19:27Speaker 3: him as my boy. Like to be around a guy
- 19:29Speaker 3: for fourteen years and you see his habits every day,
- 19:32Speaker 3: you see what he's about. He's an undrafted cat that
- 19:35Speaker 3: made a Hall of Famer out of himself.
- 19:36Speaker 4: That's been tough the playoffs, I think he said twelve times.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, we've seen a Super Bowl ring who's played with grace,
- 19:41Speaker 3: who understands what greatness looks like. And again, like the
- 19:44Speaker 3: daily habits, you're around this guy all the time. I'm
- 19:46Speaker 3: sure Jeff, if he didn't think he was big enough
- 19:49Speaker 3: for the job or wanted to take on that responsibility,
- 19:51Speaker 3: he would have probably alluded to maybe this isn't the
- 19:53Speaker 3: best route to go. Yeah, But to be confident, like
- 19:55Speaker 3: he said, I'm confident who I am.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I've been around greatness. I know I can lead men.
- 20:00Speaker 3: They won against the Raiders, Like, yeah, you can argue
- 20:02Speaker 3: all day long, like it was the Raiders, Like, so
- 20:03Speaker 3: what they're still they got whooped by the Saints. Other
- 20:06Speaker 3: than that they want play away in every game, which
- 20:08Speaker 3: is a funny thing to say. But it's not like
- 20:10Speaker 3: they're an incompetent football team.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah there, and they're not incompetent like they're the winning
- 20:15Speaker 1: record doesn't show the talent on that team, right, there's
- 20:17Speaker 1: a crazy amount of talent on the Raiders. Like you
- 20:19Speaker 1: still got to play them.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Right, you still got to and play on Sunday. Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 3: the team to get a w. And then you hear
- 20:24Speaker 3: him post game in the locker room and you heard
- 20:25Speaker 3: him before, I hear what everybody's saying, Like it's just
- 20:28Speaker 3: you know, I it makes me want to root for
- 20:30Speaker 3: him because I do feel like he's in an underdog situation.
- 20:32Speaker 3: He's got everybody kind of speaking out against him when
- 20:35Speaker 3: he feels like he hasn't paid his dues in the
- 20:37Speaker 3: coaching ranks. But the guy understands what winning looks like, Yeah.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I don't know the whole day, this is a new world,
- 20:42Speaker 1: like things are changing every single day, like this whole
- 20:44Speaker 1: pay your due stuff, Like there's a whole different avenues
- 20:46Speaker 1: to go down life and it seems like coaching is
- 20:49Speaker 1: now making a transition as well. He might be a
- 20:51Speaker 1: trailblazer for this whole entire thing. But how much does
- 20:54Speaker 1: it say about the players in the Colts locker room
- 20:57Speaker 1: who get Jeff Saturday as interim head coach. They anyone
- 21:01Speaker 1: with a phone knows Jeff Saturday was getting drugs through
- 21:03Speaker 1: the mud the entire week. They go out and play
- 21:05Speaker 1: the way they did, Like shout out the boys on that.
- 21:08Speaker 1: They fucking came out and did what they were supposed
- 21:10Speaker 1: to do. That was that's that's cool.
- 21:12Speaker 3: As shistant quarterbacks coach called the plays, didn't he? I mean, yeah,
- 21:16Speaker 3: I don't.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Know the assistant quarterbacks Schroch. If he's calling the plays.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Right, well, that's it. He Jeff had him. He's gonna
- 21:23Speaker 4: be the OC.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Everybody was mad about him jumping the line and doing
- 21:26Speaker 3: all that stuff, which is like, you understand the criticizing
- 21:28Speaker 3: part of it, but it's, you know, like anything, you
- 21:30Speaker 3: still got to show up and play, like let's see
- 21:31Speaker 3: what happens, and uh, they win the game, bro, And
- 21:35Speaker 3: it seems like the continuity it might not. It's hard
- 21:38Speaker 3: to just say they have the continuity across the board,
- 21:40Speaker 3: like I'm sure there's some some holes, just like there
- 21:42Speaker 3: is and everything. Oh yeah, but uh for them to
- 21:44Speaker 3: come out again and get a win, I think it's massive, bro,
- 21:48Speaker 3: And I think it speaks to like, Okay, it's not
- 21:50Speaker 3: like he's just hiring his buddy to do something, right.
- 21:53Speaker 2: No, I completely get that.
- 21:56Speaker 1: And Quentin did what a text out of nowhere? That
- 21:58Speaker 1: was a really cool text by Quentin. Yeah, not good
- 22:00Speaker 1: on the phone. He's worse than me. Yeah, like he'll
- 22:02Speaker 1: go months without texting or calling back. Yeah, and then
- 22:05Speaker 1: randomly he'll come out. And that was just a cool text,
- 22:07Speaker 1: he say.
- 22:07Speaker 3: He was like, uh, Perryman was out right, Perryman was
- 22:11Speaker 3: out and Martinez retired. Yep, he said, he said a
- 22:15Speaker 3: nice text. He talked about my plannings like year ten
- 22:17Speaker 3: in capslock. Yes, that's exactly what it was. Yeah, we're
- 22:20Speaker 3: playing against the Raiders. You've played on the Raiders before.
- 22:22Speaker 3: A couple of other guys were out. We need to
- 22:24Speaker 3: see year ten basically. Yes, that was a hey, which
- 22:27Speaker 3: is which is like it is the week of year
- 22:30Speaker 3: ten if we're looking, if we're checking back on the receipts.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a big week for you and I
- 22:34Speaker 1: didn't bring it up in the beginning, and I think
- 22:37Speaker 1: we just let the chips fall where they may, right, Yeah,
- 22:40Speaker 1: because usually it's not Monday, it's a Tuesday thing.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Could be.
- 22:43Speaker 4: I'm like in one of those purgatory. It's like we're sitting.
- 22:46Speaker 2: There waiting, you know, you're in that Mormon waiting room.
- 22:48Speaker 3: You're like, do you want to say anything? Like, do
- 22:51Speaker 3: you wanna usual wait for it to happen?
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:54Speaker 4: But yeah, man, it's it's a it's a it's a deal.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It's a bit of a deal. It's absolutely a bit
- 23:00Speaker 1: of a deal.
- 23:01Speaker 5: All Right.
- 23:01Speaker 1: We interrupt this episode to bring you Georgia Boot. Georgia
- 23:04Speaker 1: Boot makes super good looking and super comfortable boots so
- 23:07Speaker 1: comfortable you will never want to take them off. These
- 23:09Speaker 1: boots will hold up in any condition without sacrificing comfort.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It has the comfort technology of an athletic shoe packed
- 23:16Speaker 1: into a great looking boot.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I'm so upset right now because we had a missedop.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Why I personally had a missed up on the Georgia
- 23:25Speaker 3: Boot this weekend. I thought about backing it. Did you
- 23:27Speaker 3: guys know my motto backlight live heavy.
- 23:29Speaker 4: There are boots.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I just wanted to wear my only one pair of
- 23:31Speaker 3: shoes the entire weekend. But though the boots would have
- 23:34Speaker 3: been perfect for that game, they would.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Have been perfect.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Your toes would have been feeling good, been feeling great,
- 23:38Speaker 1: and looking great. Listen, whether you're working on your feet
- 23:41Speaker 1: all day or working around the house or grilling out
- 23:43Speaker 1: with your friends, these boots won't sacrifice comfort or style.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Head over to georgiaboot dot com and use code busting
- 23:49Speaker 1: for twenty percent off.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Hey that hurts. It does hurt.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a tough one because these boots are legitimately
- 23:56Speaker 1: maybe the most comfortable boots I've ever worn in my
- 23:58Speaker 1: entire life. But with that, back to the episode, another
- 24:02Speaker 1: bit of a deal Packers Titan's This Thursday, boys, is
- 24:04Speaker 1: the watch party on Yeah, watch parties on a watch
- 24:07Speaker 1: party on at acme feed and Seed. I will be there,
- 24:10Speaker 1: will TBD. I will be at acme Feed and Seed
- 24:13Speaker 1: top floor, second floor. We're going second floor. We're watching
- 24:18Speaker 1: the whole game, right. I might have to put my
- 24:21Speaker 1: kids down, so I might be a little bit late,
- 24:22Speaker 1: but your boy will be there. We'll be having an
- 24:24Speaker 1: absolute blast. Obviously, we'll have a bunch of merch out there.
- 24:28Speaker 1: All the mercers coming out. Is gonna be there or
- 24:29Speaker 1: we what's not going to be there?
- 24:33Speaker 2: We'll have mostly like Titan centric stuff.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Titan centric stuff. Will this hat be there? This has
- 24:40Speaker 1: a hit or too, so all of you who won
- 24:42Speaker 1: a new hat, this is the hat to get. I
- 24:44Speaker 1: actually I love wearing this hat. It's incredible.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but we're.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Gonna be there, dude, It's gonna be awesome. Drinks will
- 24:48Speaker 1: be flowing. Not so much for me because your boys gbot.
- 24:51Speaker 1: We're getting back on track. But I will be there.
- 24:55Speaker 1: And this man with the pause, we won't even we
- 25:00Speaker 1: will not even look at that man. Year ten alive
- 25:04Speaker 1: And well, was that cheese sauce?
- 25:07Speaker 2: That's honey?
- 25:08Speaker 1: That looks like that looks like keeso?
- 25:09Speaker 2: Am I stress eating? Am I stress eating? You might do?
- 25:13Speaker 2: You don't have stress eating Mitch. He's just shaking his head.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Yes, you might be stressing a little bit, but it's okay, Like, yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 1: you finished that biscuit. It works with your feelings. When
- 25:22Speaker 1: the podcast is over, you'll be all right.
- 25:24Speaker 7: You're just anxious for your ten. I mean it's yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 7: it's not a bad it's.
- 25:27Speaker 2: It's it's just a weird.
- 25:28Speaker 4: It's a weird headspace to be in because you think
- 25:30Speaker 4: you're about to leave.
- 25:31Speaker 3: You're trying to have everything ready to leave on the
- 25:33Speaker 3: bus in front, individual front, like.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Leaving the family.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Then you're like, you haven't heard anything yet today in
- 25:40Speaker 3: a Thursday game.
- 25:42Speaker 4: It's just like one of those things. It's like do
- 25:44Speaker 4: you do you like ruffle the villas?
- 25:47Speaker 3: Like? Am I trying to just pack the truck up
- 25:48Speaker 3: and go today? Do I let it come to me?
- 25:50Speaker 3: Do you let other stuff happen first? Do you wait
- 25:52Speaker 3: till Wednesday and be like, hey, what do we think
- 25:53Speaker 3: the deal is? Now that I know I'm not going
- 25:55Speaker 3: to go for another week. There's a lot of those things. Yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 3: it sounds like a lot. I'm completely I feel normal,
- 26:00Speaker 3: Like you were asking me yesterday, just say I feel
- 26:02Speaker 3: normal to talk about it because it again like we
- 26:04Speaker 3: can be optimistic about something happening, and if it doesn't happen,
- 26:07Speaker 3: you get a peek inside of like, yeah, we're stoked
- 26:10Speaker 3: about something potentially happening. If it doesn't happen, life goes on,
- 26:15Speaker 3: Life goes on. We have the best life ever.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Like you're it's not like you're walking into some like
- 26:19Speaker 1: oh my life can get so much better, Like you
- 26:21Speaker 1: have a cool opportunity coming up, but if it doesn't happen,
- 26:22Speaker 1: you just get the backup back into your amazing life right.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Right, right right exactly, like you have fun doing all
- 26:27Speaker 4: the weekends.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Like there's a part of you having the anxiety anyway
- 26:29Speaker 3: of you're like, hey, how you feel. I'm like, I'm
- 26:31Speaker 3: low key, like there's a little bit sadness because you
- 26:33Speaker 3: I got a seven month old, we got the family
- 26:35Speaker 3: thing going on, and you just now that there's a
- 26:37Speaker 3: now that there's a gain involve because it's nothing I've
- 26:39Speaker 3: experienced playing football at all, like you know, being gone
- 26:41Speaker 3: or being away from the family and your gud. I'm
- 26:43Speaker 3: a little bit sad because it's coming up and I'm
- 26:45Speaker 3: gonna have to potentially leave.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah, away from UE toorrow. I said, that's it is hard, Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 2: it is hard. I was just kind of waiting, like.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I almost feel like this situation is harder for you too,
- 26:56Speaker 1: because it's not like hey, I have to go to camp,
- 26:57Speaker 1: like it's camps happening, Like you're gone from what then
- 26:59Speaker 1: you kind of get acclimate. It's not really being around
- 27:02Speaker 1: like being like in your zone and then you go
- 27:04Speaker 1: in you silly, integrate yourself a little bit back into
- 27:05Speaker 1: your everyone's life will also being mainly focused on ball.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Now you're going from being totally focused on busting and
- 27:11Speaker 1: the family too. I gotta be focused on ball. Boys, Like,
- 27:15Speaker 1: I know, you're still gonna be doing your thing on
- 27:16Speaker 1: the bird, but at the same time, there's got to
- 27:18Speaker 1: be there's just some sort of shock value that might
- 27:21Speaker 1: come with this that's gonna be probably making a little
- 27:24Speaker 1: bit more nervousol.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Right, yeah, and like, yeah, the nerves are definitely start
- 27:28Speaker 3: to creep in the closer it gets, you know what
- 27:30Speaker 3: I mean, Because it's all been fun, it's all been great,
- 27:32Speaker 3: like training has been going well and all that kind
- 27:33Speaker 3: of stuff. But once it gets clos it's like, damn,
- 27:35Speaker 3: I might have to leave. I might have to leave
- 27:37Speaker 3: here pretty quick. Yeah type of thing. And then you
- 27:39Speaker 3: just don't know, Like before I came here to Charles, like, so,
- 27:41Speaker 3: have you heard anything, I'm like, sweetheart, you know I
- 27:42Speaker 3: would tell you.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I mean I should be the second one to hear
- 27:44Speaker 1: for sure. That's that's that's how it works.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Boys.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Yeah, after my agent, yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I will say, we'll keep an eye on all week.
- 27:54Speaker 1: This pot's coming out.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Tomorrow.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Hopefully news will be happening before then.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Yeah again, you never know, and if not, we're ten
- 28:03Speaker 3: toes down.
- 28:04Speaker 1: We're living the dream, no matter what. You're living to dream,
- 28:07Speaker 1: no matter what.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Bud, I'm not there.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Watch party on Thursday, Live and Well South Carolina this
- 28:12Speaker 3: weekend Tennessee at South Carolina. Another tailgate now College a
- 28:15Speaker 3: little tour thing presented by Bud Jangles that we're gonna
- 28:18Speaker 3: go do. We're gonna keep on trucking pep always, but
- 28:21Speaker 3: playout Willie.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Just know the boy.
- 28:23Speaker 3: For all the gms that do watch the show, it's
- 28:25Speaker 3: alive and well, I'm ready to go. You're a playoff
- 28:27Speaker 3: team looking for somebody call the mercenary to finish the job.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Can you see him eating this biscuit right now? He
- 28:32Speaker 1: really had a workout it today and fasted. That thing
- 28:34Speaker 1: is getting burnt away. It's already gone off, its coming melting.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Yeah. I already got a ship. Yeah, already coming.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Out, already got a ship. Should we hit one of
- 28:43Speaker 1: our favorite segments.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Of the week. I think we should.
- 28:46Speaker 1: All right, I believe it's time bloss Are you ready
- 28:49Speaker 1: shout out of the week?
- 28:53Speaker 2: Try not to chew that on the mic my shout
- 28:57Speaker 2: out this week.
- 28:58Speaker 8: The weather started to officially change over drop below the
- 29:02Speaker 8: forties this week, So I went ahead and washed the
- 29:05Speaker 8: sheets on my bed and immediately pulled them out of
- 29:08Speaker 8: the drawer, got into my bed, was nice and warm,
- 29:12Speaker 8: fell fast asleep.
- 29:13Speaker 2: So my shout out, no free shout.
- 29:15Speaker 8: Out this week is getting into a warm bed when
- 29:17Speaker 8: those sheets come fresh out of the dryer.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Oh man, I thought you might be going to sweater weather,
- 29:23Speaker 1: and I was gonna be like it might be recently
- 29:25Speaker 1: biasedes I spent forty eight hours in anto Re, Michigan,
- 29:27Speaker 1: freezing my testicles off.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I would have had to.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Like be like, I don't know about that, but I
- 29:32Speaker 1: like we ended up with that, Jackie boy, what we
- 29:34Speaker 1: have baby.
- 29:35Speaker 9: My shout out, no free shout out of the week
- 29:37Speaker 9: goes to the shower after traveling.
- 29:41Speaker 1: We all obviously got to get mar against the fly.
- 29:44Speaker 9: We had an early one, and especially when you're on
- 29:46Speaker 9: the road leaving, we had to be in the car
- 29:48Speaker 9: moving in like six forty five, so you kind of
- 29:50Speaker 9: sacrifice that shower for five extra minutes of sleeping, so
- 29:54Speaker 9: kind of hold now.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Then you finally get.
- 29:56Speaker 9: Back to your place, get a nice hot shower, getting
- 29:59Speaker 9: some comfy cl watch the game.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Can't beat it. That's my shout out.
- 30:06Speaker 6: You kind of kind of took mine a little bit,
- 30:08Speaker 6: but whoa drum on the bag, Drum on the bag.
- 30:12Speaker 6: It's still it's different though, because it's a different type
- 30:14Speaker 6: of shower, my shower.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Okay, November got to Yeah, it's a tough weekend for
- 30:20Speaker 3: the boy.
- 30:21Speaker 6: No, it's like like obviously, like Taylor said, we were
- 30:24Speaker 6: freezing our ass off being outside all day, just like Fridgid.
- 30:28Speaker 6: So my shower is when you get back to the
- 30:29Speaker 6: place and you take that hot shower to warm you up,
- 30:32Speaker 6: and it's just like it's like a shower you don't
- 30:33Speaker 6: want to get out of.
- 30:34Speaker 7: It's just super warm. You're like, damn, I could stay here.
- 30:36Speaker 1: It does take a minute to get out of that thing.
- 30:38Speaker 10: Huh.
- 30:38Speaker 3: And you look like you do this as your whole
- 30:41Speaker 3: body in the y.
- 30:42Speaker 2: That is so true, dude.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Those shower has two were literally hitting me like right
- 30:46Speaker 1: here in the chest.
- 30:47Speaker 7: I was like trying to get down. But yeah, it's
- 30:51Speaker 7: a different type of shower.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's outstanding. That's a good one. It's a good one, Garrett.
- 30:55Speaker 1: My shout out, no free shout out. It's going to
- 30:58Speaker 1: go to everyone on the bus.
- 31:00Speaker 11: We've been grinding lately and this weekend was just kind
- 31:03Speaker 11: of one of those like you guys said it, like
- 31:05Speaker 11: you all have carved like a pretty sick life outside
- 31:08Speaker 11: of football, and I was just kind of reflecting yesterday.
- 31:11Speaker 11: So I wanted to shout out everybody on the bus
- 31:12Speaker 11: body because we're balling.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Nice work, the boys are balling.
- 31:15Speaker 1: It's been fun good, Like the things we get to
- 31:17Speaker 1: do for our job are just incredible.
- 31:19Speaker 2: This is awesome. Su'd be good luck, No dude, I have.
- 31:23Speaker 5: There's like a lot I could have pulled from this weekend,
- 31:25Speaker 5: but the one I'm gonna have to go with my
- 31:27Speaker 5: shout out, no free shout out goes to game Cognation.
- 31:31Speaker 5: I think I think I think you two got a
- 31:33Speaker 5: little glimpse of it. We're walking along the sideline and
- 31:36Speaker 5: what do y'all hear three.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Or four times? Hey go Cox, Go Cox.
- 31:40Speaker 5: They have no idea who I am. The game Cognation
- 31:43Speaker 5: is rolling throughout the country.
- 31:44Speaker 2: People did know.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I'm telling him, You're not lying, But that's the one
- 31:48Speaker 1: you pulled from this weekend.
- 31:51Speaker 5: You're you've just heard Michael Chandler. Even though we lost,
- 31:54Speaker 5: we didn't lose. We got Tennessee this week. To my
- 31:57Speaker 5: shout out is the game car we will be there too.
- 31:59Speaker 5: We will be there, Wally.
- 32:03Speaker 3: My shout out, no free shout out goes to winning
- 32:09Speaker 3: all your bets in a day, going undefeated on the board.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I was zero and five on college football. I mean
- 32:17Speaker 3: I pretty much lost everything. Jack is on my hit list.
- 32:21Speaker 3: He faded me. He asked me who the lock of
- 32:23Speaker 3: the day was. I gave him the lock of the day.
- 32:25Speaker 3: He went against that.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Whether or not.
- 32:28Speaker 3: He's like, I didn't fade you. I was kind of thinking,
- 32:30Speaker 3: like he asked, Will who do you got? What's your lock?
- 32:32Speaker 3: And I was like Kansas State Baylor over fifty two.
- 32:35Speaker 3: And then he just shows me at the bar lay night.
- 32:37Speaker 3: He's like, hey, you're not gonna want to see this.
- 32:39Speaker 2: And Jack won.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Jack, Jack like won a lot.
- 32:44Speaker 7: I was.
- 32:44Speaker 3: I was tired about it. But it's always darkest before
- 32:49Speaker 3: the dawn. Bro Sunday comes around six and oh all
- 32:56Speaker 3: my picks and that little teaser we put out there,
- 32:58Speaker 3: like did we lose the bet?
- 32:59Speaker 2: The boys?
- 33:01Speaker 3: You hate to see it because it was Derek the King,
- 33:05Speaker 3: who is the King, and he remains the king. But
- 33:07Speaker 3: it's stuff that that's what lost us to at the
- 33:08Speaker 3: boys parlay, but the teaser and all six of the pigs.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Like I was, I was so excited.
- 33:15Speaker 3: To put the green check marks next to everything, especially
- 33:18Speaker 3: going being down bad on Saturday. So that's my shout out,
- 33:21Speaker 3: no free shout out. I think it is an extremely
- 33:24Speaker 3: successful day of.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Successful day of gambling. My shoutout goes to staple locations.
- 33:35Speaker 1: And what I mean by that is is you live
- 33:38Speaker 1: in a small town. You live in a town, there's
- 33:39Speaker 1: a place you always want to go to and check out.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And I got to experience one of my staple locations
- 33:43Speaker 1: this weekend. That's Mister Spots. We were there for the
- 33:46Speaker 1: spring tour, and literally the week leading up to this
- 33:50Speaker 1: past weekend, all the boys were so fired up on
- 33:53Speaker 1: going to Mister Spots.
- 33:53Speaker 2: We didn't hit this once.
- 33:54Speaker 1: We hit it twice. Keith looked the boys up. We
- 33:57Speaker 1: had Philly cheese steaks, we had ChIL cheese fries, we
- 33:59Speaker 1: had cheese, we had shakes, we had wings. The boys listen,
- 34:03Speaker 1: the calorie count was up. But going back to where
- 34:07Speaker 1: at one point in your life you lived or stayed
- 34:09Speaker 1: there been there enough times where you frequent in this spot.
- 34:12Speaker 1: There's a reason why them photos of me in college
- 34:14Speaker 1: look the way they do, and that's because of mister Spots.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I messed with mister Spots, and that is my shutout for.
- 34:21Speaker 3: That was a mister Sposo's fire, mister sposs fire, And
- 34:24Speaker 3: we did it right this time.
- 34:25Speaker 2: We talked about it.
- 34:26Speaker 3: We talked about we were hype while we were eating, like, hey,
- 34:28Speaker 3: we ordered the right amount of food.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Yeah, because the last time I was hurt, we were
- 34:31Speaker 1: hurt fring time.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Yeah, we were very hungry. We ate there around three o'clock,
- 34:35Speaker 3: hadn't ate all day. My mouth was watering and thinking
- 34:37Speaker 3: about the post. Yeah, I need swallow cardifal diet. And
- 34:42Speaker 3: we ate way too much to where we weren't even
- 34:44Speaker 3: prepared for the dinner at night at like six thirty
- 34:46Speaker 3: or seven o'clock. This time, same kind of thing happens.
- 34:49Speaker 3: We don't really eat all day. We go to mister
- 34:50Speaker 3: Spots at three o'clock. We do our best to order
- 34:52Speaker 3: the right amount of food. We bodied it. We got
- 34:55Speaker 3: six inch sandwich six inch sandwiches instead of ten. We
- 34:59Speaker 3: got the right amount of wings. We had to rune
- 35:01Speaker 3: them on a fries. We were living the dream. And
- 35:03Speaker 3: then come come dinner time, we were we were back
- 35:05Speaker 3: to being hungry and.
- 35:07Speaker 2: It was perfect. Now.
- 35:09Speaker 1: The one then that sucked though, was dinner. It was
- 35:11Speaker 1: a little tough. The experience was a little tough. The
- 35:13Speaker 1: food was pretty good. That lobster bisk.
- 35:17Speaker 2: At the chop.
- 35:18Speaker 1: House, dude, Yes, when so if you have the chop
- 35:23Speaker 1: House at ann Arburn and Main Street, then you order
- 35:25Speaker 1: the lobster bist. They bring you a plate with little
- 35:27Speaker 1: sprinkles of lobster on it, sprinkles before they poured the
- 35:31Speaker 1: bist in there, and so the guy puts the plate
- 35:33Speaker 1: down on Willians over goes, what the fuck is this?
- 35:37Speaker 1: It's the bisk, bro, No, they gotta lean back and
- 35:40Speaker 1: then they came in with that little tiny silver dish
- 35:43Speaker 1: theme poured it all up in there. That was delicious.
- 35:46Speaker 1: The food was pretty good. But man, chop House, that's service, buddy.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Took a very long time. Took us very long.
- 35:51Speaker 1: We were there for two and a half hours for
- 35:53Speaker 1: something that you.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Know, I get being backed up, but again it's it's
- 35:57Speaker 3: it's Friday night, right on a game weekend, like, let's
- 36:01Speaker 3: just up a little bit.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Let's start operating at a high level. Absolutely, let's raise
- 36:05Speaker 4: the standard.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Boys.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yes, overall, phenomenal weekend. It was a great time, and
- 36:10Speaker 1: even the boys got donkey like you had fun, right?
- 36:13Speaker 12: Oh?
- 36:13Speaker 2: I had a yeah.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I mean my weekend was not going to be predicated
- 36:17Speaker 3: on Nebraska winning or losing that football game. I had
- 36:20Speaker 3: to really set my expectation. But yeah, I had a blast.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Dude.
- 36:23Speaker 1: The thing I love so much about what you like.
- 36:26Speaker 1: You're like, hey, the weather wasn't our favorite. I could
- 36:28Speaker 1: pull up three videos right now from Twitter going like
- 36:30Speaker 1: the weather's perfect. I prayed for this like three or
- 36:32Speaker 1: four times. Well then they started the game. It's like,
- 36:34Speaker 1: all right, this isn't helping the way I thought it would.
- 36:38Speaker 3: That we get some more hands on balls, like create
- 36:40Speaker 3: some turnovers, run the ball a little bit better.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Kasey Thompson's your quarterback. That was hurt. Yeah. You think
- 36:44Speaker 2: he plays, You think the score is different? Yeah? Absolutely,
- 36:48Speaker 2: you think he'll win.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know about win. I go I lean
- 36:52Speaker 3: on my fundamentals, which is we have a shot. Yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 3: Casey Thompson's a good player. He's just not playing because
- 36:59Speaker 3: let's you he has a hurt Pinky, which is tough
- 37:02Speaker 3: to hear.
- 37:04Speaker 2: That was tough to hear out loud for sure. Yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 2: but you gotta call spade a spade. It is what
- 37:07Speaker 2: it is.
- 37:08Speaker 3: We needed him, you know, Pinky.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Outstanding boys, outstanding work. Is it time for your talk?
- 37:18Speaker 3: Do we know?
- 37:19Speaker 2: Do we have a tear talk? Wing sauces?
- 37:21Speaker 3: Yes, dude, let's do wing sauces. That's a good call, brother,
- 37:25Speaker 3: That's why you're fucking back there, man.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Good ship. Jack. By the way, Jack, did you love
- 37:29Speaker 2: that comment I put on your Instagram? Well, what would happen?
- 37:35Speaker 9: I had a photo with Chris Ryan cb our guy
- 37:38Speaker 9: hooked so at tickets and he commented and I just said,
- 37:41Speaker 9: appreciate you fam, and Taylor comments loll fam.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Dot dot dot Like he's just I just think it's funny, dude.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I don't mean nothing by it.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I do.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I do it from a place of like love. I
- 37:55Speaker 1: think it's hilarious. If you take that much, he hate
- 37:59Speaker 1: it that much, I will stop it. But I love
- 38:01Speaker 1: like seeing little things and just putting stuff on the people. No,
- 38:06Speaker 1: I know Jack and I love Jack, So I I
- 38:08Speaker 1: say ship because I know Jack and I have that relationship.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I can say, ship, I've heard different, all right, tear talk,
- 38:17Speaker 1: wing sauces. So the boys in the back are not
- 38:21Speaker 1: going to JP because his whole life revolves around Glizzies
- 38:25Speaker 1: and hot wings. That is basically my man's diet. So
- 38:30Speaker 1: he will not Will. Sorry, you're right, Hits.
- 38:34Speaker 4: I gotta calm down. You're right, You're right.
- 38:38Speaker 2: That's one thing I did learn about Will this weekend.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I knew he was a snacker, but I don't know
- 38:41Speaker 1: how much of a snacker Will was. Every time we
- 38:44Speaker 1: came back to that damn hotel, he was rummaging through
- 38:47Speaker 1: that snack drawer. Bro, you were going crazy on that fucking, ding,
- 38:50Speaker 1: fucking pop tart one night. I literally looked at Will
- 38:52Speaker 1: on Friday night and I go, hey, you don't need
- 38:54Speaker 1: that pop tart, man, you know I'm gonna get it.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I'm I just put it back. He's like, man, he
- 38:59Speaker 1: looks at me after I hounded him like three minutes ago. Taylor,
- 39:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna eat this. I'm gonna eat this.
- 39:05Speaker 4: And then I want to make myself peys.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Yeah, when you're drunk with a pop tar, JP.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Is, I was gonna say.
- 39:14Speaker 3: JP came in the next day and literally sitting next
- 39:16Speaker 3: to my bed was uh a pop tar wrapper, a
- 39:19Speaker 3: white claw in tail and all.
- 39:24Speaker 2: That's so awesome. Davide what you got for us, Bob dude,
- 39:28Speaker 2: this is so hard. Well, I don't do that. No,
- 39:31Speaker 2: I just love all.
- 39:32Speaker 5: Wings sauces so much, so I will start out Tier three.
- 39:35Speaker 1: No honorable mention. If you love all those.
- 39:37Speaker 5: Your sauce, I know, just because I was, I'm gonna
- 39:40Speaker 5: be disrespecting several sauces. But my Tier three is gonna
- 39:45Speaker 5: have to go to This is o to Rick Ross
- 39:48Speaker 5: lemon pepper, Well, you gotta have some lemon pepper wings
- 39:52Speaker 5: from wingstop preferably shout out Rick Ross, send this to him.
- 39:56Speaker 5: Tier two gotta go with some sort of like sweet
- 40:00Speaker 5: heat honey barbecue type sauce. But it can't be just
- 40:04Speaker 5: strictly like the sweet sioca or whatever. There has to
- 40:08Speaker 5: be a little bit of spice to it. And then
- 40:10Speaker 5: Tier one the og original buffalo buffalo hot sauce with
- 40:15Speaker 5: the wings.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Gotta have it with the ranch. Gotta have all of
- 40:18Speaker 2: them with the ranch.
- 40:19Speaker 5: But if there's something about the buffalo wings dipped in
- 40:22Speaker 5: the perfect ranch that just hits, so those are my
- 40:27Speaker 5: that's my tear talking on wings.
- 40:29Speaker 12: Mitch, oh m hm, delicious, classic, reliable, tasty, basic, underwhelming.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You just left the back of the bus, Willie Baby,
- 41:07Speaker 1: what you got.
- 41:08Speaker 3: It is hard. I honestly I would have it. We
- 41:11Speaker 3: can talk about afterwards. It is very hard. My honorable mention,
- 41:18Speaker 3: I'm gonna give an honorable mention to all the ones.
- 41:23Speaker 3: I don't say, but I want to give an honorable
- 41:27Speaker 3: mention to the saucy, the wet garlic PARMI Sean, I
- 41:30Speaker 3: think there's a big difference in the way you do
- 41:33Speaker 3: garlic parmajan wings. But them saucy boys my mouse water
- 41:36Speaker 3: right now, you gotta you gotta thought an honorable mention there.
- 41:41Speaker 3: And like the mango hopping arrows of the world is
- 41:42Speaker 3: I want to get that one in there too.
- 41:43Speaker 2: All right, all right, well, all right. My Tier three
- 41:49Speaker 2: is going to be.
- 41:51Speaker 3: And this is a battle between This is a battle
- 41:55Speaker 3: between one and two. It's a battle between one, two
- 41:57Speaker 3: and three. My Tier three is gonna be uh Asian zing.
- 42:08Speaker 3: The Asian zing's from uh Buffalo wah wings. Those are
- 42:12Speaker 3: my favorite sauce anytime I went to a Buffalo wild wings.
- 42:15Speaker 3: But uh, the Asian style. I'm big into the Asian style.
- 42:19Speaker 3: My Tier two. Like the gold sauce wings you talked
- 42:22Speaker 3: about zips, Yes, yeah, the goldens there.
- 42:26Speaker 4: McDougall's has a gold sauce that's very good.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Those.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Uh it's got like a little zinc any tang to it,
- 42:33Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. But the gold sauce my
- 42:35Speaker 3: Tier one. My favorite is uh, hot honey, anything with
- 42:41Speaker 3: that that that sweet heat, That hot honey. Those are
- 42:46Speaker 3: my favorite wings. It's bringing a smile to my face
- 42:48Speaker 3: because I fucking that's.
- 42:50Speaker 4: A good day. You get an order.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Of about eighteen of them, boys, hoping nobody wants to
- 42:58Speaker 3: share with you, because then you'd have to order six
- 43:01Speaker 3: more just to like kind of offset that in dipped
- 43:04Speaker 3: in ranch.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Hot honeys. Those are my Tier one.
- 43:09Speaker 13: JP relatable, different, solid, tangy, flavorful wet.
- 43:28Speaker 2: That Okay.
- 43:31Speaker 1: I would like to also give an honorable mention, and
- 43:34Speaker 1: my honorable mention is going to Sweet Heat as well.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I think there's a place for Sweet Heat. I think
- 43:41Speaker 1: it's delicious and it was very difficult for me not
- 43:43Speaker 1: to put it in my tier group. I think you
- 43:45Speaker 1: hit that sweet and you add that heat, buddy, but
- 43:52Speaker 1: I think it's incredible now I like to also say
- 43:55Speaker 1: all my wings that I'm all the sauces. I'mbout to say,
- 43:57Speaker 1: I need my wings extra saucy. That's just how I
- 44:00Speaker 1: like to roll. So when you're envisioning this in your head,
- 44:04Speaker 1: know that all them boys are drenched. My Tier three
- 44:08Speaker 1: is spicy garlic. I think I love some heat, but
- 44:13Speaker 1: for whatever reason, garlic to me is just a hitter.
- 44:16Speaker 1: I'm my mouth is salivating. I was the same way
- 44:19Speaker 1: Buffalo willow wings you go there. They were one of
- 44:22Speaker 1: my go tos for sure. Every every single time if
- 44:24Speaker 1: I was getting wings, it was spicy garlic and one
- 44:27Speaker 1: other that will be mentioned next. So that is my
- 44:30Speaker 1: tier three. My Tier two is garlic parmesan. I think
- 44:35Speaker 1: it is so fucking good, and once again buffalo wallowings,
- 44:40Speaker 1: but also mister Spots, those fucking garlic parmesan wings there,
- 44:43Speaker 1: they were so saucy.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Very good, very good, Goodjon garlic garlic parmajone one.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and then everyone who's on this bus knows what
- 44:51Speaker 1: my Tier one is. If I was on death row,
- 44:54Speaker 1: this would be part of my order at Zips. It
- 44:56Speaker 1: would be their golden wings, extra saucy, extra crispy. Those
- 45:01Speaker 1: to me, are the greatest wings of all time. The
- 45:04Speaker 1: greatest sauce of all time on a wing is specifically
- 45:08Speaker 1: Zips golden sauce on wings.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I think this has a hyphen bad breath.
- 45:23Speaker 7: This one also has a hyphen mouth watering.
- 45:29Speaker 10: Sauce droopy fire.
- 45:58Speaker 3: Bitch made just kidding, a very good great.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Be just for no thing.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Oh oh the al saw JP my my criticism on yours.
- 46:19Speaker 4: I would have enjoyed a more specific tier two.
- 46:23Speaker 3: You kind of paint brushed it because a mango hobenn
- 46:25Speaker 3: arrow and then a sweet spicy like you know, those
- 46:27Speaker 3: are different levels.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Of like heat too.
- 46:29Speaker 5: You're right.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I've personally never been a big original guy. I
- 46:34Speaker 3: could get drug for that, but yeah, like original buffalo
- 46:37Speaker 3: my medium, any of it. I try, It's just I'm
- 46:40Speaker 3: just not It's not a big fan unless it's like
- 46:42Speaker 3: a like a homemade ship you dumpy. Obviously Frank's hot sauce,
- 46:47Speaker 3: but a shipload of butter like really offsets that.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Like hot sauce days.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there's a place traditional buffaloings. I don't hite
- 46:57Speaker 1: it at all. I just thought, like, well, you hit
- 46:59Speaker 1: were like the base of all the all the ship
- 47:03Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Of all the wings you like,
- 47:05Speaker 1: hit like the basic ones, but they're all good.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you get two garlics.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well you had two garlics.
- 47:15Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 47:16Speaker 3: He said, spicy garlic. I'm getting this and one other
- 47:19Speaker 3: than I'm ye, would that would be my question? You
- 47:24Speaker 3: should no matter what, you're getting a spicy garlic and
- 47:26Speaker 3: then obviously the golden wings.
- 47:27Speaker 1: No, no, I get a spicy dock and the palm garlic.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I like garlic, bro, I think that's so good.
- 47:33Speaker 3: So you got golden, parmesan garlic, and spicy garlic on
- 47:36Speaker 3: the menu, which till.
- 47:36Speaker 1: You get I'm just getting golden double up. You can
- 47:41Speaker 1: only what you get two flavors. If I got two.
- 47:44Speaker 1: If I got two flavors, I do golden and I
- 47:45Speaker 1: would do parmesan garlic, all right, But if you listen
- 47:49Speaker 1: to my tears, you would know I would pick those
- 47:50Speaker 1: two before I pick spicy garlic.
- 47:52Speaker 2: I know, I just used threw in there.
- 47:54Speaker 4: I'm getting spicy garlic with one of these other ones.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Every time. Oh yeah, I said, I said. The next one,
- 47:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna say.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Yeah, But I can totally understand why my list would
- 48:05Speaker 1: be a little skewed with the garlic. It's just my
- 48:06Speaker 1: palate garlic. I'm a palate, I'm a galla guy.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Wing be a.
- 48:13Speaker 4: Good engagement one because everybody's got there.
- 48:16Speaker 2: It was on a short notice too, I know. Yeah
- 48:19Speaker 2: that was good. That was real good.
- 48:21Speaker 4: I love hot honey, love hot honey.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I can't believe zips mander too. That's crazy.
- 48:27Speaker 3: What do you mean made my two like not one? Yeah, yeah,
- 48:31Speaker 3: they're they're solid. But truly if I see like a
- 48:34Speaker 3: sweet heater or a hot honey like that is no
- 48:36Speaker 3: matter what, always getting chosen.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Oh what's it called? What's the place we abas go
- 48:40Speaker 1: to strike out? And they got some sweet heat there.
- 48:41Speaker 1: That's really good. That's probably the best.
- 48:43Speaker 2: One in the menu.
- 48:44Speaker 4: They actually have a good lemon pepper.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Their lemon pepper is yeah, I'm not a big lemberg, yes,
- 48:49Speaker 1: but his lemon pepper or saucy. I was not a
- 48:51Speaker 1: dry rub guy, and usually lemon pepper is dry rup.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Yeah, garlic promesan can be dry rub. You gotta really
- 48:58Speaker 3: really make sure they're sprinkle like that. I cook him
- 49:01Speaker 3: with garlic and.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Them so mad like now, wings are so overrated.
- 49:06Speaker 1: That is gonna be a hot TAKEE. But I agree wholeheartedly.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Didn't they let you didn't they let you make your own.
- 49:12Speaker 3: They let you combine sauces. Yeah, but they already got
- 49:14Speaker 3: their menu too.
- 49:15Speaker 8: We did the Sweet Heat with the dipped in lemon pepper.
- 49:18Speaker 8: We did one time.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Oh, I hope that's carno if that's what that's carnifor.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I don't know.
- 49:27Speaker 3: If that sauce is. Hey, awesome episode with Michael Chandler.
- 49:31Speaker 2: He came on.
- 49:32Speaker 3: It's been forty eight hours since the fight. He came on.
- 49:35Speaker 3: I mean, he's got the black eyes, he's got the cut. Like,
- 49:37Speaker 3: we dove into absolutely everything. We talked about the fighting,
- 49:40Speaker 3: I Q soup, We talked about people talking about him
- 49:42Speaker 3: being a dirty fighter during the fight, just his perspective
- 49:46Speaker 3: on it all, which you know is always a plus.
- 49:48Speaker 3: But I feel like we covered everything.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Yeah, in a short time. There's really there's really no
- 49:53Speaker 1: fat on this podcast.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:56Speaker 1: So before we get an episode, though, we're gonna read
- 49:58Speaker 1: this album right Yeah, all right, we're.

- 51:39Speaker 1: So, when we were at an arbor for the inaugural
- 51:43Speaker 1: bust and Bowl, we did see that photo that Sports
- 51:45Speaker 1: Center put out like Michael Chandler's transformation, and then may
- 51:49Speaker 1: we were at your house that day was the party?
- 51:51Speaker 1: That was the party? And legit they caught you on
- 51:54Speaker 1: an angle, no question, maybe in an exhal too, but hey, in.
- 51:57Speaker 3: The most extreme style of like like Mike didn't look
- 52:00Speaker 3: bad at all, but.
- 52:02Speaker 2: You literally were, uh yeah, that was we were rocked up.
- 52:06Speaker 2: You were rocked up.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Then people were like, don't even realize you were rocked up.
- 52:09Speaker 2: On my stomach, I was doing the the dad impression. Yeah,
- 52:12Speaker 2: you know the football around too. Yeah. Well we had
- 52:16Speaker 2: just beat you guys in bags. Yeah no, I don't think.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Uh they came back, right, you guys came back yeah,
- 52:24Speaker 3: because we were up big, weren't we You're up enough
- 52:28Speaker 3: something something and let them keep playing that you were up.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Three nothing and then we beat we were deaf.
- 52:34Speaker 1: We were up I think thirteen nothing like it was.
- 52:37Speaker 1: It was a big the boys got.
- 52:41Speaker 3: But the after photo where you see like, go ahead,
- 52:46Speaker 3: I don't even know you see like the ripples of
- 52:49Speaker 3: your like the amount of weight that you cut.
- 52:52Speaker 2: You look sick. You look like.
- 52:54Speaker 1: If you would use that photo of you to teach
- 52:57Speaker 1: people anatomy, this is where this muscle was you.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Yeah, because Bree with all of her medical schooling and stuff,
- 53:04Speaker 2: she's like, yeah, you look like a cadaver or whatever.
- 53:06Speaker 2: They yeah, yeah, but yeah, it's uh, it's always good
- 53:10Speaker 2: to show that stuff on fight week too, because I
- 53:12Speaker 2: also obviously launching the fitness app and stuff. It's like,
- 53:15Speaker 2: you know, hey, this this is attainable. But obviously I'm
- 53:18Speaker 2: a professional athlete. I trained, you know, twice a day,
- 53:22Speaker 2: freaking twelve weeks to look like that. You gotta be
- 53:24Speaker 2: proud of that photo. Let's be.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw that photo and my face is all that.
- 53:29Speaker 1: I'd be like, I'm not I don't own a T
- 53:31Speaker 1: shirt anymore.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Well, yeah, the ab implants helped too, you know king Yeah, yeah,
- 53:35Speaker 2: are you liver king in it? Actually? I am gonna
- 53:38Speaker 2: go uh carnivoring it for the next like two months probably.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Really That's how I stayed so lean. I came into
- 53:43Speaker 2: this camp really lean actually because I was. I was
- 53:44Speaker 2: carnivor for like two months straight. Yeah. Last time I
- 53:47Speaker 2: had a rib bi and some broader down. I'll be
- 53:50Speaker 2: doing the same thing now. Yeah, look like Mike Chandler, Yeah,
- 53:53Speaker 2: zero carbs. You look good though. I feeling good. Well,
- 53:58Speaker 2: now we're on the mic. I still wanted to get
- 53:59Speaker 2: that one in. Yeah, I feel you. I feel good.
- 54:01Speaker 2: You know you uh part of it because.
- 54:03Speaker 1: When you're watching when you were watching the fight, and
- 54:05Speaker 1: I actually I want to go like through everything like
- 54:07Speaker 1: your thought processes, because I thought when you walked out,
- 54:09Speaker 1: you looked we were all saying, the boy looks loose,
- 54:11Speaker 1: like you looked like there was not a piece of
- 54:14Speaker 1: stress on you. But during that flight, my boys, you
- 54:16Speaker 1: started leaking heavy, you started putting all of your blood
- 54:20Speaker 1: on the back of that man's head. And seeing that
- 54:23Speaker 1: fight and then seeing you now, I would say you
- 54:25Speaker 1: look fantastic.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I was in a hyperbaric chaman this morning. Helped,
- 54:28Speaker 2: and I do I do heal really quick.
- 54:31Speaker 3: You got the face mask, the face mask photo where
- 54:33Speaker 3: you got the you know, you taking care of your.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Face a little bit and put the face mask on
- 54:36Speaker 2: a couple of times, already iced a couple of times,
- 54:38Speaker 2: tons of inflamma, anti inflammatories, a lot of Tumorico Creeman,
- 54:42Speaker 2: Kirk Cuman. Just pump all that like crazy the next
- 54:46Speaker 2: week or two and do you like a little bit
- 54:48Speaker 2: of do you like? Wake up and you're like fuck,
- 54:50Speaker 2: oh dude, yeah, I sneezed in like my core just
- 54:54Speaker 2: from just from bearing down and kicking, bearing down and
- 54:57Speaker 2: punching bearing down and getting punched neck jaw abs. I
- 55:03Speaker 2: mean everything head to toe basically, everything hurt. Everything, anything
- 55:06Speaker 2: that didn't hurt, no peep blood after which is normal?
- 55:10Speaker 2: Really you said it's normal, rap though, Yeah, whenever, I
- 55:14Speaker 2: whenever you go through those hard like, yeah, those fifteen minutes,
- 55:18Speaker 2: this is almost like thirteen minutes or whatever it was.
- 55:19Speaker 2: So yeah, just get a little bloody or you're in
- 55:23Speaker 2: just to make you feel alive. Have you peopleloed before? No,
- 55:28Speaker 2: it's a very painful experience, and there were people of
- 55:30Speaker 2: Mine wasn't painful. Mine's just red. Must have sometime it
- 55:33Speaker 2: was green. I don't remember. I don't know why that happened.
- 55:36Speaker 2: You say it was green. It was green. I don't know.
- 55:38Speaker 2: After an IV. No, it was after just after one
- 55:40Speaker 2: of my fights. Really, I still need to ask. I've
- 55:43Speaker 2: asked numerous doctors and medical professionals, like I have no
- 55:46Speaker 2: idea what that was. I mean neither, But I'm still alive.
- 55:51Speaker 4: I just I can't believe you're here on the bus
- 55:53Speaker 4: right now.
- 55:53Speaker 2: I'm looking. I'm always on the bus. Probably two nights ago,
- 55:56Speaker 2: we're in a fight, landed yesterday. Yeah, have you.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Been feeling like since the fight, like mentally not obviously
- 56:01Speaker 3: not physically, like you just talked about that, but like mentally,
- 56:04Speaker 3: how have you been.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Dude, good. I mean, I not to downplay a loss,
- 56:09Speaker 2: because man, you know we're winners. We want to win
- 56:12Speaker 2: what you want to do. But dude, I we've talked
- 56:16Speaker 2: about this before I had I'm in my second career now.
- 56:19Speaker 2: My previous career was before outside of the UFC. A
- 56:22Speaker 2: new career is inside the UFC. Inside of the UFC,
- 56:25Speaker 2: I have fought five of the toughest dudes on the
- 56:28Speaker 2: entire planet. At one hundred and fifty five pounds, the
- 56:31Speaker 2: who's who of the guys who compete in my weight class.
- 56:36Speaker 2: You're gonna win, You're gonna lose when you lose. If
- 56:40Speaker 2: you lose in a way that I did with a
- 56:42Speaker 2: fight like that against the number two guy in the world.
- 56:46Speaker 2: I think there's a lot of people that think my
- 56:47Speaker 2: stock continues or eyes and now we just kind of
- 56:49Speaker 2: sit back and see, you know what happens. Once again,
- 56:52Speaker 2: it's not always about the wins and losses, about how
- 56:54Speaker 2: you make people feel. I think people felt something. People
- 56:56Speaker 2: feel something, not just you know, at MS, but around
- 57:00Speaker 2: the world. The highlights are everywhere. I think people appreciate
- 57:06Speaker 2: my contribution to mixed martial arts, the sport of mixed
- 57:09Speaker 2: martial arts. I think is better with me in the
- 57:12Speaker 2: UFC right now, and things are going really really well
- 57:17Speaker 2: at the last twenty four hours hanging out with my family.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Took hap to school this morning. It's all the teachers
- 57:22Speaker 2: that I always see, and they're like, hey, how are Yeah, yeah,
- 57:26Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm doing good. How you guys doing good?
- 57:28Speaker 2: To see U. I'll pick them up today after this
- 57:32Speaker 2: walk over there because it is a nice day. And
- 57:34Speaker 2: then see all them and a lot of them have
- 57:37Speaker 2: seen the fight, I'm sure. So it's just fun. Man,
- 57:39Speaker 2: life is good, feel great.
- 57:41Speaker 1: It's a weird thought process thinking about you going to
- 57:43Speaker 1: see like your kids and the teachers, because that doesn't happen.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Doesn't happen for everybody like that. So many schools teachers
- 57:50Speaker 1: are saying just no disrespect. People that are working at
- 57:53Speaker 1: reilar nine to five jobs in and out. They look
- 57:55Speaker 1: the same every single day. And then these teachers know
- 57:58Speaker 1: your kid, so they have some sort of personal bond
- 58:00Speaker 1: to you. I'm sure they're sitting there paying the fifty
- 58:03Speaker 1: five dollars or whatever it is for pay per view
- 58:05Speaker 1: watching you go. And so you just and the way
- 58:08Speaker 1: you just surround people, the way you operate and the
- 58:11Speaker 1: way you hold yourself when you're around people, people root
- 58:13Speaker 1: for you, like the boys. When we were at the
- 58:15Speaker 1: Brown Jung after the game, there was one individual who
- 58:20Speaker 1: was a thrower, shot put whatever he does for Michigan.
- 58:23Speaker 1: And at first it was fun because he didn't know
- 58:25Speaker 1: we're boys with you, and he's like, I got poorier
- 58:27Speaker 1: and I'm like, sure, you do so words tripping a
- 58:29Speaker 1: little bit, and then he really started getting into it
- 58:31Speaker 1: and I was like, there might be a UFC fight
- 58:33Speaker 1: in this in this Brown jug right now. But that's
- 58:36Speaker 1: how you know this guy, your your personality, how you operate,
- 58:40Speaker 1: is it definitely.
- 58:43Speaker 2: You humanize the game to people like you.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Like when people watch individuals fight or play football or hockey,
- 58:50Speaker 1: it's all like these are heroes, these are individuals that
- 58:52Speaker 1: it's unattainable. And then when you're around you're like, you
- 58:54Speaker 1: make it more human because of how like you don't
- 58:57Speaker 1: act like you're better than everybody.
- 58:58Speaker 2: You have a very you're very calm.
- 59:00Speaker 1: And stay right here at all times, and it's a
- 59:03Speaker 1: very impressive thing to do with all the success you
- 59:05Speaker 1: fid in your life.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Well thank you, yeah, I mean I didn't. I yeah,
- 59:07Speaker 2: it's it's funny too, because when you're in it, you
- 59:10Speaker 2: don't really think about the success. I don't know, I
- 59:13Speaker 2: don't really think about the success that much. I'm just
- 59:15Speaker 2: just kind of living, you know. I'm kind of like
- 59:17Speaker 2: going doing my thing. Hey, what's my job? My job
- 59:19Speaker 2: is to be father and husband until I going to
- 59:21Speaker 2: training camp. Then it's be a fighter and also come
- 59:25Speaker 2: home on the weekends be father husband. But you know,
- 59:29Speaker 2: it's it's cool, like I know, tailing because Taylor was there.
- 59:33Speaker 2: For everybody who doesn't know Taylor, your wife was there
- 59:35Speaker 2: was awesome, so I was glad that she got to.
- 59:37Speaker 1: It was looking electric. Will even point it out, well,
- 59:40Speaker 1: do you see how hot your wife?
- 59:42Speaker 2: It was cool. They they had so our stylist our,
- 59:45Speaker 2: our mutual look.
- 59:50Speaker 4: At my wife.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I was like, come on, buddy, Taylor sent a picture
- 59:53Speaker 1: of I was like yes, I was like yeah, they Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 2: They were all decked out because Christa was there. She
- 59:59Speaker 2: got her so they had Megan Megan Fox's uh makeup
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: artists come to hotel. They all got all dolled up.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: She rode over to the venue with us, so she
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: was taken care of.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I heard her the first time that uh Brie was
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: escorted with you first time, and I was like, oh,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I'm kind of just like here being escorted and it's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: his experiences.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: For the first time it was and it's uh when
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: it's not because we don't want Bri to be there
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: escorted with me. She actually she gets because you you
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: go to the fights and I'm always later on the card.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: So you watch those first ten fights before me. You
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: see dudes get knocked out, you see arms get broken,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: you see guys who were supposed to win lose, and
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: this anxiety level just starts rising and rising. So she
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: likes to get there if I'm fighting at eleven, she
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: likes to get there at like nine thirty, ten o'clock. Yeah,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: but this time it didn't really work out that way.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: She we wanted. It's New York. It's hard to get around.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I had security with me at all times, a guy
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: named Drew NonStop. I couldn't leave my room without him
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: escorting me somewhere. So I was like, hey, let's have
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: you with me. Why don't you guys come over to
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: the venue with me. They came over to the venue
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: like three hours early, which is not normal for her,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: So it was, uh, it was good. It was very
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: very cool for her to We walked in the arena
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: hand in hand. She was looking foreign, and uh, if
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: it happened, it was good.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Yeah. I just I think it's because you've obviously been
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: on the pod what four or five times now, You've
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: only come on pretty much after the fight's over, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: it's very much like appreciated you willing to come on
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: like this fast after a fight, especially when this is
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: gonna drop tomorrow. But I'm just curious, like you, each
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: time you've came, you came after a win, you came
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: after a loss, You've said all the stuff like you
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: the way you the way you grab a hold of
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: perspective is like it's very admirable. Like I think you're
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: like one of the best dudes out there. I love
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: hearing your perspective on everything. I think you rub off
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: on us, Like I just always appreciate it. But I
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: want to dive inside your head, like after that fight's over,
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: you can spin it any way the entertaining I lose
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: this way that way, but are you just like fuck man,
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I'm so goddamn it gets so fucking close, because you
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: could have there's parts where you're like, you know you
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: get gas in the first round because you had you
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: had an opportunity. You're like putting them down. This motherfucker's
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: just taking shots. Were literally like, and I know Jack
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: was like rolling the phone on us in the back.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: We're starting to jump like it's about to be over,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: and for whatever reason, that motherfucker just wouldn't go and
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: you're out of it. You're obviously you're obviously wearing yourself
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: out more because you're you're seeing the opportunity.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: You're trying to finish him.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: You're trying to wrestle him even more down so you
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: can get on top of him and stuff. And when
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: it just doesn't happen, are you just like before you
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: grab the perspective, are you just like, fuck man, Like,
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: when is it gonna just flip? When's the ball gonna
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: just bounce my way for a second in one of
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: these big situations where you're like right fucking there.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Because what you were like it was also similar with
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: ol of Aarra, right like that first round where I'm
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: at Will's house and we're like, oh, this is over
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: and this is the way the game goes. Sometimes stuff
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: flips on a dime, like not only after but like
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: after that first round round you had him, he was
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: in that corner. You literally it was like, he's won
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the first round.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: We knew that. We know he's won the first round.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: He bounced back in the first Yeah yeah no, but yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: bounce back.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: You tell both these duser gas.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: You're just like, man, Mike just comes out in the
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: early innes Sea round because you could tell dudes or gas.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: And again like I'm always that boost this morning explaining
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: to people. I'm like, dude, you're trying to like wrestle
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: be on the offense wrestling this guy because you had
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: the opportunity, and it just it takes so much out
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: of you.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: I apologize, I kind of stole your.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Thought No, no, no, I we went back and forth on that. Basically,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: it was it was like not only your thought process
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: after when the when the the experiences concluded, but just
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: in the middle of the fight, like in that first round,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: how it went. Where was your mindset at what were
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you thinking? And then also at the end, what Will
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: was trying to say is where like when you're like, damn,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: it's like when is this gonna bounce my way? Cause
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: there there are those two fights now off the top
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: of my head where we're talking about a whole totally
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: different situation. Were Oliver you knock him out, that's done.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: That you could have took poorer out done, And it's
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: just this is not like a slight like, oh man,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you could you couldn't finish. I'm just saying, like, does
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: that weigh on you?
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Yeah? It does because well and that's that's the other
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: thing too, Like when you talk about you're fighting the
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: best guys in the world, and the best guys in
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: the world aren't just they aren't just technical, they aren't
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: just good fighters. They're also extremely tough, you know not,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: and not just tough and all, they're also just they've
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: they've been whether it's luck, whether it's chance, whether it's
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: just genetically, they're able to withstand the beating that I'm
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: that I put on them. And same thing with me
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: as well. I mean, like Poria said after the fight,
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: he it surprised him how durable I was. We're just
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: when you're in there and you're in the spirit of
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: competition and you are something wells something up inside of you,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: you are outside of yourself. You are not I am
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: not Michael Chandler sitting there, I am a being that
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: just has an indomitable spirit, and you don't you don't
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: go down, you know, like you said, in that first round,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Pore was hurt. I went for the finish it obviously,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: you know, I had to throw everything at him. But
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: I do remember after the fight too, because they bring
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: you back and you know, everybody's just you know, don't
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: hang your head. You know, we hear that all the time,
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: whether it's a hard fought game, whether it's a hard,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: hard fought fight, but you know, you just yeah, it's
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: just it's sad. You know, I cried, cried like a
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: little baby, which is also just awesome too. It's awesome
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: moments that you get to enjoy. Is it. Is it painful,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: of course, but it's also just like when when the
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: high of the of the victory or defeat, or the
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: high of the competition comes down and it starts to
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: starts to hit in it and it's over and you
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: miss it. You know, you miss it. You miss that
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: that opportunity that you had, whether you missed the opportunity
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: to win, but also you also just miss it. You
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: you you aren't yearned for that competition that that we
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: just had, you know, and the high comes down, the
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: adrenaline comes down, and the human emotion starts getting into it.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: And it was, Uh, it was sad, but it was
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: also beautiful, like it makes you feel alive. I said
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: that in the postfight press conference, and everybody's like, no,
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: you don't need to do the press conference. You don't
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: need to. You know, you're fine, You don't you need
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: to the hospital you need I'm just like, no, I'm good.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: I told them I don't want to go to the hospital.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Don't need you to the hospital. I get on the microphone,
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: win or lose, and uh, because I think that's what
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: people want to see too. I mean, somewhere between the
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: craziness of the competition and the guy that I am
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: inside the cage and also just the the person I
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: am outside of the competition is the kind of the
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: real me where I've talked about living on both ends
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: of the spectrum of crazy, just the crazy juxtaposition between
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: the two and man, it's just this is my story
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: that I'm writing and a masterpiece that I'm painting for
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: my sons to be able to see someday, you know,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: and they're going to say, that's who my dad was
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: and I won't have to tell them because they're going
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: to see it all. They're gonna hear it all. They're
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: gonna be able to watch it all. Yeah, they're It's
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: gonna propel them and push them towards what they want
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: to be. But it's freaking yeah. It sucks. Man sucks losing.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: But but did I lose? You know? I mean I
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: saw what Taylan said to Breed too. It's like, yeah,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I lost, but I'm winning what you said, I'm winning.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I didn't win, but I'm winning. I'm winning at the
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: game of life. I'm winning at I'm winning at being
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: the guy in the arena that everybody can point fingers at,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: laugh at, throw venom at that can that can make
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: fun of and make memes about. But here I am
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: ten toes down, pumped up about my life, love, my family, love,
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: my love, my calling, love, what I get to do
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: with two black guys. Possibly a broken nose. We'll see
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: what happens with all these scans and X rays. Who knows,
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: But I live to fight another day, either physically or metaphorically.
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: Yea.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: We interrupt this episode to bring you whistle pig whiskey.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: There are a lot of whiskeys out there that are delicious,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: but some burn more than others, tastes more different than others.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Whistle Pig whiskey and Rye honestly is phenomenal. But in
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: our opinion, the greatest whiskey that has ever been created
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: is in will confidence hands. And that is our and
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: that is our new busting with the boys. Whistle Pig whiskey. Dude,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: this thing and I've been told and I've tasted hints
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: a carmel talking about toasted almonds, roasted almonds.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: Victory Monday latte.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: You're gonna feel a little heat up front, and you're
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: gonna be a little nervous, Like, what's is gonna be
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: like going down my throat and it's gonna nestle down
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: your throat nice and smooth. I'm not shooting you. I
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: know I'm trying to sell this right now, but I'm
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: not showting you. It's very smooth whiskey. And I'll sit
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: warmly on the top of you or something when you
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: get done. These are out any carrier, any retail store

- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I know, Michigan's won.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: There's a lot of big states that our audience is
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: in that are like, holy shit, why can't we buy
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Why can't we order your bourbon online? There's a legal
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: thing going on. There's a legal thing to where they

- 1:09:42Speaker 4: Back to the episode, I think that's the cool part.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: You let you again like going and doing the press
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: or after like doing this, you know within forty eight
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: hours after like you allow people to look find the
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: curtain on it, and it is like a roller coaster, right,
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Like it's not like you're taking all this time to
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: like find the right thing to say or the right
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: way to do it or this is.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: There is no right time and there is no right It's.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: Cool because every that's what every human kind of goes
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: through anyway, Like they're always battling in for you to
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: like show yourself no matter whether it's sad, it's it's
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: the craziest.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: The human guy. I was a being here. I'm crying
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: at this point.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I'm bleeding death taxes and Mike Chandler bleeding in a
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: fight is forever. But I know, I think it's I
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: think it's really cool man. Again, Like I appreciate you
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: sharing all this stuff because I'm just always super interested,
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: like like at the end of the first round when
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: he catches you or you just like motherfucker or in
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: that like I'm thinking sometimes like say you're on a
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: long drive defensively you know, you're like in the beginning,
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: you're juice, You're going and you say you're in the
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: middle of a game. Sometimes when you get backed up
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: in the red zone, you're like fuck man, like, hopefully
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: somebody else makes a play or hopefully they fuck up
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: to where you're not, Like, we're not always so programmed
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: to be the most positive person in that time frame,
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Like the human side kicks in fatigue, makes cowers of
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: us all like, was there a moment you probably it
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: probably wouldn't happen, but is there a moment after the
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: first round you're catching your breath's like, motherfucker, Like I
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: need to come out here because this is kind of
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: what I have left in the tank and because I'm
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: I'm starting to bottom out condition wise because you threw
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: so much atom in that first round. Like I'm curious
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: what goes on in those in those like when you're wrestling,
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: you're up somebody after two pairs of the third piers
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: coming and you kind of feel the incoming and you're like,
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: I need to either make something shake or try to
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: like to me isy in that last in that last round,
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: you can tell he's kind of leaning like let's just
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: let's get through this round, versus like Lens winning because
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: he's winning, like does the strategy and those moments change
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: because you're just feeling your lungs, you're seeing, you're feeling
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: the blood like he kind.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: Of shook me at the end. Yeah no, And that's
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: and I think that's been the biggest criticism of me
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: and how I fight. And people will call it fight IQ,
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: but I think it's just it's my spirit. It's it's
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: who I am. Like I've I've never once thought, Okay,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: let me just get through this round. I never once thought, hey,
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: let's play it safe. I've never once thought, let's hit
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: the brakes a little bit. And would I probably win
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: more fights. Could I have been a world champion if
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: I've done that. Probably, But it's just not who I am,
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: you know. So after the first round, second round, I
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: wanted to get a takedown, got the takedown in the
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: second round, beat him up a little bit on the
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: ground at that point, my nose gushing. I mean that's
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: the other thing too. I mean, fatigue makes cours of
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: you all. And you're talking about fatigue when you can
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: breath through your nose and your mouth. I didn't breathe
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: through my nose the last you know, eleven minutes of
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: that fight. You know, my mouth wide open. With the
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: mouth wide open too.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, button gets a little bigger at that button gets
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: a little bit bigger, and and.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: And dust and poorier is a is a. He's a
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: very precise striker. He's very good at He's very good
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: at just pinpoint accuracy punches and bunches when he gets
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: guys hurt. You know, he wasn't wasn't able to to
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: finish me on the feet, obviously, But yeah, it's uh, dude,
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: it was just uh massive square garden is beautiful and
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: it's amazing, but it sucks so bad. I still didn't
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: hear my coaches can't hear a thing. Your lungs are
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: shaking from just the atmosphere in there. It's it's absolutely
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: I don't want to fight there ever. Again. I'm now
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: zero and three there, you know, so uh yeah, so
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: uh it's just uh fourth one though, unless it's Connor
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: next year, we'll see you. But uh, you know, I
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: uh it's it's it's the craziest place to fight ever,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: and it's it's uh, it's you can't explain it, you know,
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: I'm sure there's an arena that a stadium they all
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: have played in where you're just like this is this
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: is different, but massa Garden is that.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: You know, It's so hard to compare the two things
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: because it's the most obvious difference is it's team sport
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: versus individual and there you can't get I can't get
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: cused from the sideline, like do this differently, Like there's
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: a there's a break, there's an intermission between each play,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: between each play, Yeah, but there is. There are stadiums obviously,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: like Kansas City is Seattle. Those you just know it's
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: gonna be a little bit different, Like in twenty nineteen
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: against the Ravens. It just it's loud, but there's you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: prepare for that because you know what you're going into.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: So there's a different cadence. There's a different way we
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: know what we're about to do. There's things Tannehill or
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Mariota would do and say to make sure you know
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: what you're supposed to do in that play. So very
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: difficult to compare those things. But so you're Vegas, Vegas
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: or bust guy.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Now, I well, first of all, I have to fight
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: in Vegas, like I still haven't fought in Vegas. Yeah,
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: fighting in the UFC now, I fifth fight in the UFC.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Haven't fought there yet, so that would be I have
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: to fight in Vegas before I hang out the gloves.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: So yeah, I need my next fighting is to be
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: in Vegas.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: But what you can happen, We'll call some people JP. Yeah,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: I guess JFP Cam.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: What do you think about?
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: What do you think about some of the people that
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: feel like you were fighting dirty in that fight, Like
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: people talked about you hitting them in the back of
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: the head. You're obviously like when you're gushing blood, you're
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: gainst them on his face. I think it's fucking, you
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: know awesome. The fish hooked to try. Well, that meant
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: him out, Like can you speak on that?
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Like, well the blood, Yeah, the blood thing. The blood thing.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: First of all, that's not dirty or illegal. And second
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: of all, he had me in a triangle. My head
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: was over his face and my nose was gushing blood.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Was I trying to clear my nose and trying to
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: breathe and trying to survive? Yeah, you know, so if
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: blood was gonna get on his face, sorry my bad,
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: but no, yes, I did. I thought well it was well, no.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: First of all, it looked like he was you were
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: making a painting, you were making a Jackson Paul on
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: his face.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Well, it's like, well, it's kind of like, well, hey,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: if you're if you're if you're content to lay there
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: and you're content to try to get this submission, which
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: nobody I knew he wasn't gonna get it, but he
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: was just gonna lay there and he was buying his
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: buying his time. Uh, you're gonna you know, get rained
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: on and possibly you know, the snot rockets were going
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: to come out because it was just gushing and it
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: was it was all coaggulating inside there. And also I'm
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: trying to breathe at the same time. You can hear
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: me still Snow, you're both trying to kill each exactly,
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: you know. So it's a little bit uh, you know,
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: all all three of those things you just brought up,
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: little bit unfair for the armchair quarterback to say the
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: back of the head thing. Did one or two of
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: those punches catch his head, Yes, after he turned his head,
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: but I was catching his ear with every single one
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: of them. That's why the referee was there watching the
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: entire time. Monologue. He said, watch the back of the
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: head as soon as As soon as he did, I said,
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: I caught. I caught his ear, you know. And then
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: after that, was there any more punches in the back
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: of the head. No, All of them were clean, except
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: for maybe one or two after he turned his head.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: And that's actually a part of mixed martial arts that
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: we are told if a guy turns his head. If
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: the guy turns his head in order for you to
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: punch him in the back of the head, you get
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: those one or two shots. You get the You get
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: those one or two shots because you you didn't do
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: it intentionally. The actual head moved. It was ear ear,
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: he turned back of the head. Okay, now there's your warning.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Don't hit in the back of the head anymore. So
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: completely fine. The fishhook thing was not a fish hook.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: A fish hook is on the lip and on the skin.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: It was actually on his mouth beach with which I
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: actually thought was his chin. I reached down and grabbed
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: here because I was gonna pull the chin up Connor
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: saw I was training in a ton that week. Reached down,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: grabbed the chin, lift the head and go for it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: I thought I had his chin, but it turns out
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: I was in his mouth and I didn't really realize
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: it until he bit down on my hand and I
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: was like, oh, shoot, okay, and at that point my
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: elbow was stuck on the you know. So, I mean,
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: you're also.
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: You're in the fucking you're both trying to fight while
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: also trying to like, all right, I have you know,
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: You're just you're all trying to like figure out your
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: gas thing too. When he's turning his head or when
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: he knows he's trying to try and get you in
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: a submission, he knows.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: He's probably not gonna get it.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: You're probably just trying to sit there like I just
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: need to catch my breath for a little bit.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Also, there's there's a times too where it's like people
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: can watch it and they can watch stuff in slow
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: mode and they can say, oh my god, I can't
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: believe he did that. And you're like, when you're on
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: the line or you're taking it doing a tackle, you
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: don't know where your hands, where your feet are, what
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: you're grabbing, what you're You're just you're in the moment,
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: you're in the motion, you're in literal hand to hand combat,
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: so you don't know what your hands are doing, what
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: your feet are doing. You know, if you blatantly head
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: butt somebody, okay, if you blatantly punched some one of
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: the nuts. Yeah, but these things where you're grabbing and
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: you're you know, there's times where you're you're grabbing a
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: guy's grabbing a guy's glove. You don't realize you're grabbing
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: a glove. You think you're grabbing a wrist because you're
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: not really, you're not thinking clearly.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: So I'm sure the ref understand that, and there's someone knowledge.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: That's why they're there. Their eyes are on it, and
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: there's warnings if you they you're grabbing a glove or
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: you're grabbing a mouthpiece, you're grabbing whatever. Then then the
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: ref steps and he's like okay, shoot, okay, sorry. Yeah.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: So I mean I'm not I'm not that worried about
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: it because people who know me know I'm not a
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: dirty fighter. Like we're in the heat of combat as well,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: so it's like whatever.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: When uh so you're talking about a lot about armchair quarterbacks.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: But after the fight, it did seem like there was
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: some sort of tension. I feel like, boy, you got
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: in your face and then all of a sudden said
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: something super nice to you, and you kind of just
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: gave them the dap up and walked away, like yeah,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: that was always well, yeah, after the fight, what was
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: that whole experience like, because you're You're like, I don't know,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: did you say this because the tailor told me you were, like, hey,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I was gonna shake his hand no matter what.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Did you say that publicly? I said that publicly and
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: then I went over to do it, and then I'm yeah,
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: and then I don't. Really, I'm not the kind of
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: guy who's gonna, you know, be in his cereal right now.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: He he I feel like he could have been a
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: better sport about the guy that he just beat, coming
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: over to him to congratulate him, and he wasn't. So
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: I walked away, So I said some choice words walked away.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: He kind of chased me down to like because he
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: knew he was being a d bag. Yeah, and then uh,
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: then he kind of tried to squash it. Then I
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: kind of trolled trolled him a little bit. I tripped
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: at him a little bit, and then uh, and then.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: You need to beat That's necessary, you know, Yeah, that's necessary.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: He loves win lose the necessary, you know, because I mean, yeah,
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's part of it too. Man, I
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: don't know. I'm just I love winning. I don't like losing.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: But I also I don't really care that much. Man.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: I always say too, my God still loves me, my
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: family still loves me, and I still love me, and
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: but the boys still loved me whether I win or lose.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: So I'm like, I'm sick cure in myself, and I
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: think a lot of people can't really accept that or
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: think or they think that it's they think that it's
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: not genuine. So all I can be is authentically as myself.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: And yeah, have you how did it take you to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: get to that point where you always like that really lessen?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I love myself, my family loves me, God loves me.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Or was it I hate losing more than I love winning?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: At some points?
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: No, I mean I I mean I was insecure for
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: a very very long time, had a very lowly view
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: of myself. And we've talked about my self image and
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: my self image problems for years and years and years.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: Never thought that I would ever even come close to
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: being here under the bright lights and cameras and Madison
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Square garden and fighting for titles and stuff. I think
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: it's just been we underestimate how long it takes to
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: get to that point. And we're all just continually evolving
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: beings who are being just being chipped away and molded
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: by all of our experiences. You know, I think when
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I was, when I was younger, I just wanted to win, win, win,
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: And now I'm just like, I love winning, and I train.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: I think I train harder and I prepare harder than
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: everyone else. I deserve to win. And then but when
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: the bright lights come on and then it's time to
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: that case door closes, it's not even really up to
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: me at that point in time. You know, the the
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: outcome is gonna take care of itself. So then I
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: also just throw throw it kind of out there and
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: let it fly. And you know, I could, I could
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: be probably a little bit more strategic, as we talked about,
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: like with an like an israel Ota Sonia or one
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: of these guys. Don't be that strategic. Yeah, it'll get
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: boring quick, yeah, you know. And yeah, I mean I
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: probably could have won some more fights, but I am
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: who I am, and I've enjoyed my run thus far,
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: and I'm like, keep on doing what I do? Why not?
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: Why not?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: I was just gonna try and be a little If
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: you watch the.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: Tape over and over and you say, could I be
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: closer to a title or be a champion?
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: Probably?
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Why not look at that, hear what you're saying, watch
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: the tape and be like, here's how I can be
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: a better fighter in the octagon versus just going out
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: there and letting me, you know, all the adrenaline take over,
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: letting yourself take over, uh, and trusting more of like
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: the preparation that's going to go into the fight versus
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: like allowing just this crazy ass iron mic step in
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: there and.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: Let it all.
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: It is.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Like when you when you fight, there's a reason why
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you said it in your last fight, like you what
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: everybody wants to see and it's it's amazing, But there.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Has like yeah, why not be smart?
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Why not be smarter about it? Because I don't think
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: it's as easy as a lot of people think it
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: is as well I think, uh, I mean.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: I want to ask why you like you say yeah
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: probably and throw out the anybody else thinking it versus
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: you just sitting there and self scouting yourself why why
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: not approach it in a way that would benefit you more,
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: for like going for a title, being there with the
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: gas tank just you know why.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: I think. I think in those moments and in those
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: exchanges where we say, okay, well I hurt POORI in
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: the first round, hurt Charles in the first round. Had
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: I not been fighting that way, that explosive, that fast,
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: that in your face, that foot on the gas pedal,
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: those those opportunities would never have existed. And you're gonna
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: see two guys. I'd be on my back foot more,
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: which takes me more of a defensive stance instead of
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: an offensive stance. And most of the time me being
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: offensive has worked out more often than not. So it's uh,
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: I mean you also have to you have to play
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: to your strengths and your gifts as well. I think
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: I'm I think I'm faster and stronger and more athletic
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: and and have a lot of speed and just the
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: tenacity to be able to in those moments one one
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: guy starts to break and one guy starts to kind
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: of conquer, if you will. And I have to be
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: able to get to that that place with all the
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: gifts that I have, you know, but I'm more I'm
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: more saying taking a round off, like some guys, do
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: you know I would rather? I guess not rather, but
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: I just it's not in my nature because you're probably
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: it's almos trying to think like I'm trying to think
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: of your fight, like there's not a lot of things
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: other than like when you're getting gased, your hands are down,
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: and you're just thinking like you can tell, like you
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: can tell the man's tired at the end of this
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: first round, right and then in the second round, you're
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: probably like, in your offensive nature, hey I got this
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: much in the tank right now, I gotta take him
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: down an awesome takedown.
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: I guess I'm just trying to think, like, how.
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: Do you do you look at it and you're like, okay,
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: I need to if I'm run out of the gas
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: in these moments, do I look at some of the
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: training or some of the conditioning that's happening because I'm
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: such an offensive, explosive type condition level fighter versus a
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: more of a steadier pace start to fight. Do you
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: look at how do I get a little bit more
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: condition if I'm gonna be this way and play to
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: my strengths, do you end up going back and kind
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: of like, you know, maybe I need to change my
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: training up a little.
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: Bit, yo. And I think I have changed my training
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: up a little bit, so regrettably. I think as a
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: as a guy who as the actual fighter who is
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: in there competing, I don't I wouldn't say that my
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: my competition, my competition course of action is exactly like
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: my training either. But it also I think mixed martial
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: arts is different than a lot of sports too, where
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: the competition is so much different than the training that
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: it can't even be it can't even be portrayed to
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: the aerademic. Yeah, it's it's almost impossible. It's impossible in
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: any arena, let alone Madison Square Garden, you know. So
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: that's that's the other aspect of it too. That's a
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: little bit. I mean, it's even bewildering to me. I
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: look at it and I'm like, yeah, I didn't exactly
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: train like that. I'm not upset about it. I'm not
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: regretted regretting anything. And it's almost just impossible to do it,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: you know. And I because I've actually my I've toned
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: down my training a lot. If you guys saw the
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: way that I trained compared to the way that I fight,
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: It would it would blow your mind. I choose my
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: three four training partners that I spar with. They're safe, guys,
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: I'm not going crazy. I'm not in fighter flight mode.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: It's it's light, it's technical, I'm not taking damage. And
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: then I go out in the fights and it's completely different.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: Straight fight or flight.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it's really just or just.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: Going to the octagon.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: The gate closes, like, yeah, it's gotta be so hard
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: to like, yeah.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: Imact the code on figuring out that those types of exactly.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: And maybe I'm a maybe I'm a pretty interesting science
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: experiment that well we'll look at some day and people
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: will break it down and say, you know, why does
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: that happen? But also you only get which is crazy.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: You only get I think the fear of me under
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: achieving because I look at I look at this last loss,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: I look at my previous losses wins. I don't think
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: I've ever underachieved. I think I let it all out there,
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: put it all out there. I fought well that I
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: make some mistakes, of course we all do, and every
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: every game, every fight, every ever thing. But I've never
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: under I would never say I'm underachieved. I'm not. I'm
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: not upset with my performance ever. So I think the
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: fear of the fear of that guy who sits in
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: the chair in the medical tent after a loss and say, man,
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: I freaking I did not put it all out there tonight.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: I did not go for it. I did not I
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: did not fight like uh, the guy who like fall
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: into the ground and trying to do the little clips. Yeah,
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: exactly like I would. I would, I would be, I
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: would be I would be so embarrassed of that, I
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: would be so let down of that, and I would
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: be I would be so regret I would. I would
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: regret that so much more than than the me who
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: went out there and went out on my shield. Yeah.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: But you so you've talked about like the evolution of yourself.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: He dealt with a bunch of insecurities in the beginning
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: of all this madness when I was starting the self doubt,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: the way you look at yourself in the mirror, and
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: obviously that has evolved to become more and more and more.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: I think what Will is Will's trying to get at
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: is those opportunities you had with charless and poorier, like
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: you can still have those opportunities. But maybe in the
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: second round, because gas things are all the same in
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: the beginning, everyone's fulton. You come out the way you do. Listen,
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: I'm a guy that knows nothing. I watch you. I've
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: never wrestled in my life.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: I'm a fan.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: I like to sit and cheering the boy. So everything
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: is great and salt with what I'm saying. But instead
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: of you know, wearing him down, seeing where he's at,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: you can still be offensive and then maybe that second
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: round you have that he doesn't have the same gas
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: think he did in the first round, maybe you get
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: that finish or is that like does that ever like
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: come over your head? Is because I think what we're
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: getting hung up on a little bit is taking a
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: foot off the gas or like taking a round off.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: And I would never expect you to do that. I
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: don't think you would ever make that compromise to yourself.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: My thought is like, why not just play some chess
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: a little bit that first round you can still go
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: hard and go hard on the paint, knowing, Okay, I'm
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: gonna tie him down in this X, Y and Z,
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: and then in the second round we finish business the
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: way it needs to be finished.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think I'm saying yeah, okay, all right.
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: Makes I'm personally like the when we talk about the
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: science project. I feel like in fighting, it is hard
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: to kind of put your finger on. But I feel
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: like if I'm putting myself like if I were happening
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: to be a fighter who's had your who's had your matches,
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: I would just be frustrated on figuring out how can
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: I put my finger on, how I can either finish
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: these fights or not. Like I do get because you
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: look at the last fight and it's hard to think,
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: how would you do some different? You saw an opportunity
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: to put him out, and you tried your fucking damn
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: just to put him out. That he catches you, You're
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: fucking You're tired, than the second round happens.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: It is what it is. So it's yeah, it's just
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: I just I'm I.
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: Just love being in your head. I want to ask
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: as many questions as well.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: I think also obviously been on the pod a lot,
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: We've talked about the wins, the losses and everything else.
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: I want to know the self fucking Michael Chandler that's
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: thinking about this thing and being like.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: Fuck, I do X, Y and Z. I'm just curious. Yeah, though, No,
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: the hard the hard part about mixed martial arts too,
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: or fighting just a fight in general, is it's like
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: you can find yourself either one hundred percent offensive, but
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: if you're not one hundred percent offensive, then you become
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: one hundred percent defensive or somewhere in the middle. And
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: it's hard for me. When I'm in the middle or
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: I'm in the defensive posture, I start to overthink things
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: as well. And I don't want to overthink things when
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: I'm in there. I'd rather just get get in there,
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: get in there and get into the get into the
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: craziness of it, because I also know who I'm also fighting,
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: another human being, who has a breaking point, who has
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: self doubt, who has who has a who has the
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: second guessing of themselves. Whenever they see me, they they
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: feel my presence, they feel my pressure, they feel you know.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: So there's it's a it's the mind game, the physicality,
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: the technique, the fear, the one punch ko the one punch,
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: not the one punch kick, the one the one submission
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: you can catch somebody in the wrestling and the dog fights.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: It's it's just it's a beautiful sport. But if I'm
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: not one hundred percent offensive and one hundred percent putting
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: foot on the gas, it's tough to Uh, you start
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: to over think things. So I think maybe that's a
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: crutch of mine, Maybe that's something I could have worked on.
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: But I'm also a little bit too too far gone
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: to think about that now.
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: So yeah, again, I respect the shit out of it.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: I'm just too far gone. But we could all grow,
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: we could all get better.
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: But it's we're fucking curious how it all goes down,
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: because even listening to you talk right there, it's just
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: the methodology, like I'm not gonna allow myself to think
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna get the fight started, like I'm gonna deal
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: with all these things, I'm gonna get this thing going.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: I think you do a great job.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: Obviously, All everybody in your corner, we just sit there
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: and everybody wants everybody wants you fucking win just like
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: you do. And so when you sit and look at it, like, fuck,
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: you got gas there, not because of a like a
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: conditioning level, but because it's like it's hard as fuck
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: to finish. If he didn't go down and you're having
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: to wrestle him and he's kind of just stabilizing and
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: trying to catch his own breath, and you're just trying
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: to wrestle him to the ground, be offensive and it
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: just doesn't happen.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, it's it's hard.
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: It's hard to be like, how do you even fucking
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: get to a level of training to get there because
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: you kind of can't because you're in such a fight
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: or flight survive.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: I'm trying to end him.
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: I'm trying to do whatever possible, and how can you
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: actually mimic that without just being like fuck, you just
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: need one of those shots to land and he just
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: goes down.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, yeah, that's the thing too. I mean, well,
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: and that's where we talk about. Wait, I forget what
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: you were saying earlier, but there's there's a little there's
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: a piece of luck in there as well. I mean
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: you there's a piece of luck and chance where I
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: mean if one of those punches lands a little bit higher,
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: a little bit lower, a little bit harder, a little
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: bit different angle. I mean, I remember in the fight,
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: I was like, I'm about to finish this dude landed
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: four or five shots on him. He doesn't go down.
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: I'm sure he thought the same thing about me. Four
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: or five shots lands on me, nose is bleeding like crazy.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: You don't go down. There's been times where you hit
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: a guy and he goes down and you're like, that
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: was easy. I felt like I did't even hit him.
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: And you feel like sometimes you're hitting them with a
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: baseball bat and a two by four in there, it's
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: a center block as hard as you can and they
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: don't go down. So it's it's uh. And then all
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: of a sudden, then you're left with, Okay, shoot, we
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: got two more rounds left, We've got four more rounds left,
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: we got whatever, and it's it's uh.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: The scary part for me, Yeah, personally, Yeah, getting tired.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: I'm just like, oh fuck, yeah, that's I mean, that's
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: that's the scariest. I don't I don't remember being too
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: too tired in this fight. I remember being very tired
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: in a lot of fights. I don't remember being too
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: tired in this fight. As far as actually mentally acknowledging it.
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: I was just got up in the moment and enjoying
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: it too, which is a little bit sick probably. But

- 1:34:26Speaker 3: You were literally the best seat, so you were there. Yeah,
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: that's as crazy as I like believe you that. It's like,
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: I'm sure it's hard to even remember all this.
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't remember. You don't really remember a thing.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: You don't really remember a thing.
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: Because I'm sitting there, I'm like, I mean, both of
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: you guys are very fucking tired.
- 1:34:40Speaker 2: Of the friend. Yeah.
- 1:34:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and I feel yeah, we're kind of sitting there like, buddy, there,
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: the hands going, we're moving around, we're like grabbing each other.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: It was a bit of a deal.
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: So the first round, you finally get back to your coaches.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: You can't hear a thing in mass square garden.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: What are they telling you? I remember Henry saying, because
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: because if I remember correctly, the end of the first
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: round was not great.
- 1:35:03Speaker 14: In my in my that's where he bounce back and yeah,
- 1:35:05Speaker 14: maybe around it'd be around there, like maybe I don't
- 1:35:10Speaker 14: know what, like the points said, like Mike was laying
- 1:35:12Speaker 14: in massive blows, though I think you touched him more
- 1:35:15Speaker 14: than he touched you, just the way that first round
- 1:35:17Speaker 14: in and it's like, okay, thankfully.
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: That round ended right, so not been enough.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember kind of like thank god that you
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: remember looking at that clocks in five four, I'm I
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: please God, just get to zero because there was you
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: had him and then he taught something. So yes, absolutely,
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: you get you get back to you get back to it.
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: Henry. Is it? What's Henry talking about? Henry?
- 1:35:35Speaker 8: Uh?
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: Because I think the way that that first round ended,
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: that's when he was like, okay, well, don't don't get
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: into a brawl. In his mind, so he was saying,
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: you know, go out there, get a takedown. Should have worked,
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: should have worked the body more. The distance was going well.
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: He threw a lot of straight left hands that weren't landing.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: I was getting out of the way to those I
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: wanted to step off land a right hand. We worked
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: a lot of that that didn't really happen too much.
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna at one. But yeah, they were
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: more just like, hey, let's let's try to secure this
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: next round. Go out there, gonna take down. We got
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: to take down second round. But what was that I
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: staked down? I don't remember. I need to go back
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: and watch it. We might try to do like a
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: breakdown of the fight. Yeah, yeah, I mean why I
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: lost on the scorecards, which the scorecards. Yeah, I lost
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: the first round on the scorecards, which is which was
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: good because that was one of my I did have
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: a moment to regret there when I was like because
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: because I think a couple of people said that I
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: had won the first and second round. Because I won
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: the second round, I thought, according to the scorecard too, yes,
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: two of the judges, I think so in my mind,
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: I'm like, shoot, if I was up too, oh, I
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: should have been a little bit less gung ho in
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: that third round and played it a little bit more safe.
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: But to me, it was one one and I'm not
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: going to leave it in the hands of judges. I
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: needed to go out there and try to put it
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: on them.
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: And then there's absolutely no way hell unless you guys
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: just no one gave out that fight was gonna go
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: all three rounds. Yeah, I just I mean, you guys
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: were you guys were just getting after it, getting after it,
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: which always happens was your fights. Like You're one of
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: the most electric fucking fighters out there. It's just like, God, damn,
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: I here. You want them to you want the ball
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: to bounce your way.
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be good. But also, dude, I I gont
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: care last dude. Yeah, I'm thinking my own my record,
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: think of my own.
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: Selfishness of like we're fucking God, damn the boys. We
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: were so hurry brother.
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: Them all.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's the truth. It is the truth when
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: you get to that point too, where you're just like dude,
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: and even like just that, like f mall and even
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: you where it's just like, dude, you're winning, like we're winning.
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: As long as you're doing what you can with what
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: you have, with your best foot forward constantly, you're winning
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: and it's gonna it's gonna work out, you know, whether
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: you win or lose, whether you you know, are successful
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: or you're a failure whatever. Like I I'm not. I'm
- 1:38:08Speaker 2: not at the point now where I'm even worried about it.
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: I'm living a dream. This is this right here is
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: the happiest I've ever been in victory or defeat, no
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: matter what. Why Because I walked on. I left BELATORI
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: left the relative relative security of being the face of
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: a promotion, getting paid great, great money, coming over to
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: the UFC, making so much more money for my family
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: than I ever thought I would, so much more platforms,
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: so much more everything, and it's it's just absolutely a
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: dream that I'm living. So maybe that you know, the
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: big time Michael Chandler supporters out there like god, dang do,
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: but we just want you to win, dude. We I
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: told all my boys you were gonna win. I told
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: all my friends you were gonna win. You're gonna be champion,
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: Like that's cool, but you know, we're fighting the and
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: also we're fighting the best guys on the planet at
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: my weight class, the best guys. So if I'm not that,
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: I'm not that and I can sleep fine at night
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: knowing that.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: And not that you empty the tank no matter what,
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: Like there's a you can't have regrets if you put
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: full effort out.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: If you have everything you have, there's no regrets. Yeah,
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: And I think that's where I'm kind of trying to
- 1:39:12Speaker 2: get at too, that I can't really put into perspective,
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: and people are probably just like, dude, you sound like
- 1:39:17Speaker 2: a loser right now. You're completely okay with losing, You're
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: completely okay with falling short, and I and I I'm not,
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: but I also am because I think there's I think
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: there's so much freedom in that, and I think there's
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: you can't you can't live in full freedom unless you're
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: completely okay with losing as well, you know. And I
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: young kids to be like, oh, it's okay to lose,
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: because I want you to. I want you to work
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: extremely hard. I want you to be disciplined. I want
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: you to try to become your best self. I want
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: my sons to know that I it's okay to lose,
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: but you deserve to win, you know. But I think
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: in the deserving to win, you also have to when
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: you're putting yourself out there and being the man in
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: the arena and being the guy who who puts himself
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: completely out there, you're gonna take losses. It's gonna happen.
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: So yeah, and you said it too, like putting yourself
- 1:40:05Speaker 3: out there, like to go that hard. You have to
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: be willing to be able to look failure in the
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: eye if you're going to exhaust yourself that much. Because
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: you in my getting to watch you being your friend
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: and everything else you do do that. So you're saying
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: and like, yeah, people, the big Mike Chandler supporters like,
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: if I'm sitting there fan of Mike Chandler, yeah, we
- 1:40:24Speaker 3: want to go to the top. Why don't you want
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: to talk about the goals of winning. But like, knowing you,
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: I like you put everything into everything. So the fact
- 1:40:33Speaker 3: that you come up short, it's like you can sleep
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: well at night because you know I am doing fucking
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: everything I absolutely can and I leave it all out there.
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And it's just a but it's also just
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: a metaphor for life. Man, this is what we this
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: is what we do, and this this is life and
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: every single endeavor that we choose to go down, every
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: single road that we choose to go down, and mine
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: is fighting in a cage and collecting scars and black
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: eyes and broken noses, and you know, it's it's uh,
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: it's my story and it's a beautiful thing and it's
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: an awesome platform and I'm not upset about it. The
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: sun rose this morning, two boys woke up this morning,
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: my wife woke up this morning. Some coffee and life
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: is good and I'm on the bus. The rest that's lit.
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: Bisacia, I would always say, he like he would just
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: you just see a random message.
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: Fuck them all just dude, I love it back.
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: Damn that sucks. You didn't get you didn't get the
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: head coaching job. Who cares for them all?
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: Yeah? And just keep it moving. Yeah, and that's yeah,
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: that's the kind of freedom that you want to be
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: able to live in. Yeah, I don't seem you see
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: him calm. This is the columnst I have ever seen
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: you like. It's from an energy standpoint for sure. Yeah,
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what the future holds. You know,
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: what do you think?
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: It all?
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: It was like, let's play, let's play sandbox.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: What do we I don't know. I know what the
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: future holds for the next couple of months. Enjoy the
- 1:41:55Speaker 2: enjoy the holidays, see see what shakes out. You know,
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: the title is mean at this point, I'm not talking
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: about the title, but the you know, the title fights
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: happening in February. You know, Connor's coming back eventually. I'm
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: on the short list for that fight, I'm sure, but
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: Hey, that's the fight though, right, that is the fight.
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: I mean, that's I think. I think, I think, I
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: think at this point it's hard for me to vegas.
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: I'm not a big self promoter, but like yeah. I mean,
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: I'm I'm the we're here, Yeah, we're your boys, got
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: promote forever. I'm the I'm the guy that that people
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: want to watch for sure? What are you better or worse? Oh?
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: Me and McGregor fight. International Fight Week of next year
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: July International. Well, yeah, the UFC always does International Fight
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: Week in July. That's when all the people from around
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: the world come to Vegas watch the fight. I thought
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: it's usually usually one of the biggest cards of the year.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: Usually they do one July and like November, like this
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: Madison squarecard one was the biggest, the other big one
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: that they do. And uh, that's what I think. Chandler
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: versus McGregor July. I mean I have all the Yes.
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: I lose this last fight, absolutely, but did my stock rise?
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: I think so? Do people want to watch me fight? Absolutely?
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: Will people ever not buy the pay per view? If
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: I'm if I'm on it, I think there's a long shot.
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: I think everybody wants to see me fight. I'm gonna
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: sit back and wait and see how it all plays out,
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: wait for the phone call. Because I think, without without
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: sounding too narcissistic, I think I'm the guy that everyone
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: wants to watch fight, and I'm not gonna do it
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: unless it's something that excites me and something that I'm
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: willing to leave my family for.
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: Yeah, because people don't know, like it's not here just
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: hanging out and be like, all right, I gotta fight
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: in a week.
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: I'll see you guys.
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: But you have to literally go and leave your family, yeah,
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: and basically just take over this different lights.
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's a complete place mentally physically and spiritually.
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: That that is that is absolutely draining too. I mean,
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: just you know, I'm sitting here one hundred and eighty
- 1:43:56Speaker 2: six pounds sitting on the bus right now. I'm I
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: was just one fifty six what seventy two hours ago,
- 1:44:03Speaker 2: you know, And and of course, yeah that is inflammation.
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: And I you know, stuffed myself after the fight, you know,
- 1:44:11Speaker 2: And and I did have pizza. Actually I am not
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: a big carb guy, you know, but I had pizza.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: My boy Jimmy picked up some raised pizza and uh yeah, yeah,
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: we went back to you know, I don't I don't
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: even like it actually had too much cheese on it.
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: I wish they we went light on the cheese. But yeah,
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: we went back and we had some pizza and it
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: was up till four in the morning cause I didn't
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: get back to the hotel un till like two in
- 1:44:35Speaker 2: the morning. Yeah, you know, it was just a late
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: late night. So it's been my body's kind of out
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: of out of whack, off kilter because I've been sleeping
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: so perfectly, eating so light, eating so lean, and all
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: of a sudden, my body's like, yo, bro, what are
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: you doing right now? I'm fasting today until like another
- 1:44:50Speaker 2: two hours, three hours just to like let my body.
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: Took some smooth moved tea to clean it all out.
- 1:44:57Speaker 2: So maybe I'm less than one eighty six now, but
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: U and that piece happening right down swing Yeah, but anyways, no,
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: back to that. I mean, it's inflammation.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: It's this a brother thirty pounds being extrictly to the
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: rest and to the fight culture of like, yeah, maybe
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: I did X, Y and Z, but everybody else like
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: yal thirty fucking pounds.
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: So people pause that and call somebody, hey, did you
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: hear he lost thirty pounds?
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: He did it?
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: Text from one of his five buddies, like, hey, come on,
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: why are you lying? Like you know, some of that's inflammation,
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: someone I said, it was like the ninety nine point
- 1:45:25Speaker 3: nine percent of everybody out there's like, yo, thirty pounds,
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: oh insane.
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: Well, it's a lot of it. A lot of it
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: was the you know, the dehydration and the rehydration. I
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: mean I was one seventy five within twelve hours, you know,
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: drink two gallons of water and I'm almost one seventy five.
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: But but yeah, going back to the preparation and what
- 1:45:42Speaker 2: what gets me off of what what gets me out
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: of the house, what gets me out of you know,
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: working on the other businesses that I'm doing, and the
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: investments and and just the family and friends and beautiful
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: life that I get to live. What's going to pull
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: me away from that is something that excites me, that
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: that I have to go be away from the family
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: for that is gonna you know, take care of me
- 1:46:02Speaker 2: and my family, going to continue to increase the platform.
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: That's where I'm at at this point. And I love
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: fighting for the UFC. I just talked to Hunter Campbell yesterday,
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: who's the number two in charge of the UFC, basically,
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: and uh, you know, I love them. I love the
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: opportunity they have given me. They love me. Danny called
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: me the arturro Gotti of the UFC, you know, which
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: is which is too true? Inside of the cage, I
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: think for about as accurate of the depiction as you
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: could have. But it's got to be something that really
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: excites me because I you know, I'm not going to
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: do it for just anything, any fight and it's just
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: another fight, you know. Yeah, that makes sense. Got to
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: be McGregor. McGregor makes a lot of sense. We'll see
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: what he says it does. It does make sense. I
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: heard it here first on the bus JP.
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: You got anything with the fighting stuff our core, our
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: UFC correspondent, it'd be heavy.
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: More just a question if you if you'd want to
- 1:46:58Speaker 5: rank your opponents that you've had in the UFC toughest
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: to I don't want to say least toughest, but.
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: Yeah, tough to the opposite of that man, I would uh,
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: I would go uh gaitschee TOUGHESTI a second, only because
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: only because of the way that the fight went, because
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: was poor was very uh very light on the ground.
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: I think he was actually he was resting a little
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: bit under there. I don't know if he was really
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: trying to get away a lot, which is actually probably
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: really smart, because I think he was. He was he
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: was conserving gas. There's no there's me while I was trying,
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: while I was just trying to hammer away, which is
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: very smart. Shows his veteran mentality. Then it would go
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: uh Ali Vera after that, then Ferguson, then Hooker. But
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: the Hooker fight didn't really count because it was it
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: was so quick. It wasn't even really that much. He
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: didn't really get to show his toughness. Dan Hooker great
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: this last fight, so he needed that win. Yeah, Dak
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: Prescott's teeth tweeting me, that's crazy. That's the Revenge's.
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: Prescott.
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: Josh Keller. Uh but uh, Dak Prescott revenge to her? Yeah,
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: walking into crazy lest Well, yeah, I mean and yeah,
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: I mean, hey, if I had, if I had to
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: walk away right now and be like first five fights
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: in the u f C, only five fights in the UFC,
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: We did our work piece. I'm out Barry Sanders. So y'all,
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: would you, uh who you want to fight next with?
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: Not Connor? I don't know. It's got Like I said,
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: it's gotta be a big fight. Nate Diaz just left,
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: but he could come back. Whenever I would fight Nate Diaz.
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: I would fight George moles Vital. I mean to fight.
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: I want to fight these guys at one seventy two.
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: Probably healthier for you, healthier dude. And and these guys
- 1:48:52Speaker 2: aren't that big career cut. Literally, I don't can't. I'm
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: not getting get older, Like it's not like you're some young,
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: some young cat going to these tournaments. Well that's the thing.
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: I'm older. But I've also proven that I'm that. I
- 1:49:08Speaker 2: I mean, I've been It's kind of like I've been there,
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: done that, got the T shirt. Man, Like, Yeah, I've
- 1:49:13Speaker 2: never missed weight my entire life. I've never pulled out
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: of a fight. That's something I wear as a badge
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: of honor. So fight these guys at one seventy, these
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: guys who are won fifty five ors at one seventy.
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: I would. It would be naive and somewhat delusion oldest
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: for me to sit here and talk about the title.
- 1:49:32Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not nowhere close to fighting for the
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: title now, So I'm not going to, you know, fight
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: five fights in the top five again to try to
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: get back to the title at one fifty five and
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: all that kind of stuff. Do I think it's still
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: a possibility in the cards for me. With another big win,
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: I could fight Geechee again. I could fight who else
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: is in the top five, Olivera, you know, I mean
- 1:49:53Speaker 2: there's the Olivevera fight. I like the Olive Ara fight.
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: I would love that rematch. I would love the Gaigy rematch.
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: But then you got these young hungry guys too that
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: are coming in. Hafelfasive, who's actually a training partner of mine.
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: I think he trained with us for a while and
- 1:50:09Speaker 2: went back to Russia or Highland or whatever.
- 1:50:13Speaker 7: Somewhere.
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: We'll see. I have no idea. Boys, where would you
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: want to fight Conrad? We'll wait on seventy for sure,
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: at his biggest, at his baggest, and it's most dangerous.
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: He did put out a little picture the other.
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: Day to sixty five in the bank. He is, yeah,
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: he is looking rocked up.
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: Yeah. I uh, you'd be.
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: Faster in a fight. This is from Zach Deaton. Could
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: you beat faster in a fight out of me and Taylor?
- 1:50:43Speaker 3: Oh my god, I don't know, dude, It'd probably be me.
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: It'd be harder. Answer, it'd be hard. It'd be hard.
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: I'm almost six weeks postop ACL surgery.
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: How are you doing? Let's talk about you doing fantastic.
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: You don't need to worry about me and Boss.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: We're living.
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: I literally walked a drunken marathon this past weekend and
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: I have hardly any swelling in my knee. That a
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: life literally could not be better right now, let's go. Yeah,
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: it's been amazing. But uh, who do you think he
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: would beat in a fight? Me or Will?
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: Who do you beat faster? Will? Only because I'm looking
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: at you right now, I would definitely beat Taylor, Dude.
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: I would crush Taylor, so.
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: Probably, dude, Ei, there is film of me getting knocked out, so.
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: Oh oh yeah, I know exactly. There's a film with
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: me getting knocked out in a fight. So you been
- 1:51:32Speaker 2: in a fight before? Will? Not really Yang, dude.
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: No, but you got ground game? Oh I Will has
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: tossed my ass around in wrestling?
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: How many times at this point? Great wrestling? Yeah, do
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: you think you beat Do you think you could hang
- 1:51:47Speaker 2: with him in wrestling?
- 1:51:48Speaker 4: Hang with Chandler and wrestling.
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: Bring the eagle out? Crazy part of me says, maybe
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: I love that? Not at not when I'm one ninety
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: dye one day.
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: We you know, just give me, you know, give me
- 1:52:02Speaker 3: a little bit of time. But wrestlings wrestling's fucking Cody,
- 1:52:09Speaker 3: Him and Cody wrestling.
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: Yeah, for anybody, everybody's listening. Tody is one of Will's brothers.
- 1:52:15Speaker 4: Dude, I don't know. I'd have to tap in with Cody,
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: but Cody.
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: With Cody and me wrestling, you get about four about
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: four whiskeys and Cody gonna stop.
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: Now he's gonna stop. How much is your right now?
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: I mean he's on the mat every day. Oh yeah,
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: because he's coaching. Yeah, yeah, so he's got got that
- 1:52:36Speaker 2: old man. Old man.
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: You guys are probably wrestler.
- 1:52:39Speaker 2: I don't know, he's not.
- 1:52:40Speaker 3: He's he's in the sixties. So it's probably be tough.
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: So s you're heavier and you guys are like good wrestlers. Yeah,
- 1:52:47Speaker 3: but it'd be fun. Get him out here for Nasha
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: for a day. We go to training camp. We just
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: roll around on the mats a little bit.
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: I'll wear a single or a Zo single. He can
- 1:52:54Speaker 2: wears Nebraska single. Get there.
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: Get the little ankle bracelets out there, green and red.
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: Ankles to the anklets would be hilarious. It would be
- 1:53:02Speaker 2: funny you dust him. I'll say it for you. I
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: dust dead fourteen to one. Probably I wouldn't quite tech
- 1:53:09Speaker 2: for him.
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: I like, it's just I'm joking Cody.
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: I think it, Uh, it depends how much wrestling you
- 1:53:15Speaker 3: do year round, right, Yeah, I'm thinking of the technicality
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: of just wrestling.
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: I probably do more wrestling him. You think so, probably
- 1:53:23Speaker 2: then you probably would wrestle. Does he wrestle with the guys? Yeah,
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: he wrestles live with the guys.
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Cody's thought about he Cody's like wanted to like
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: do the fucking little vet tournaments that because he rocks
- 1:53:34Speaker 3: with the parlor.
- 1:53:34Speaker 4: Circuit all year round.
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm still out of my league right now.
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: So all those five seven day intensive camps and stuff
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: like that, Like he still brags about it. He's still
- 1:53:42Speaker 3: like you see the competitiveness in him about it. It'd
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: be funny you you, I mean you were a stud
- 1:53:48Speaker 3: I was I used to be. Yeah, but still you're
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: still fighting. You still wrestle all the time.
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: Yeah, who knows one day, Well, we check it out
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: one day, I know. Well, for sure, Cody would want
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: to wrestle Cody would do it, like, yeah, if we
- 1:54:03Speaker 3: call Tody right now, he'd be in four hours, he
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: would be. I mean when I.
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: Get done boys, yeah, yeah, yeah, when I get done fighting,
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: I'm not gonna do any more wrestling or any more
- 1:54:12Speaker 2: of that stuff. I'll probably just lift weights, just strengthing, additioning.
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: What else can we hit on?
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: How's your uh, how's your your walk on your app

- 1:55:18Speaker 3: you guys have no I'm joking. Uh no, man, life
- 1:55:22Speaker 3: is good on the bus.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: I love us.
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: I want to ask about audition. I want to ask
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: about this carnivore diet.
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: This last question brought to you by Roeback. It is
- 1:55:30Speaker 4: known as the Roadback question.
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: Use code Boys on roadback dot com for twenty percent
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: off your first purchase.
- 1:55:35Speaker 4: That's r h O B A c K dot com
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: Code Boys b O Y S.
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: They work with the best collegiate athletes, from Will Anderson
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: to the Boy Michael Marry to b Jon Robinson Robinson.

- 1:55:48Speaker 3: gonna love these Code Boys twenty percent off.
- 1:55:52Speaker 1: Back to the episode, why why carnival diale? What's the
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: what's the benefits of doing that? For the next two months?
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: I just like I like, uh? I like red meat
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: is now the red meat. No, I mean you can do,
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: you can do, you can do chicken. Yeah, I just
- 1:56:08Speaker 2: I just think, yeah, chicken thats are delicious, But I
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: think red meat is just the best. Honestly, But doesn't
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: red meat have a hard time digesting? Isn't that? That's
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: what I say? But I feel, I feel phenomenal just
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: eating red meat. Last night I had just a huge
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: rabbi with some with some butter on it, grass fed butter,
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: and uh actually we had some sushi too. They order
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: some sushi, so I just had some some fish as well. Yeah,
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: but I mean, really I do like eighty percent carnival.
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: I still eat a lot of vegetables here and there,
- 1:56:41Speaker 2: but just it's based on just no carbs. No carbs
- 1:56:44Speaker 2: are the enemy. Carbs are the Carbs are the enemy.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: If anybody wants to lose weight, go go a month
- 1:56:49Speaker 2: without eating starchy carbs, bread, pasta, even potatoes and that
- 1:56:54Speaker 2: kind of stuff. Just go off of it and see
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: what happens.
- 1:56:57Speaker 7: Off it.
- 1:56:58Speaker 2: You don't, we don't need it. The food pyramid which
- 1:57:01Speaker 2: said what ten eleven servings of carbohydrates.
- 1:57:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the that was the base of the pyramids.
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: It was created. You follow that thing to an elementary school,
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: You're like, this is It.
- 1:57:10Speaker 2: Was created as a marketing tool for the agricultural industry,
- 1:57:15Speaker 2: saying we need we need this much wheat. It was
- 1:57:17Speaker 2: made by a guy out of Minnesota who had ties
- 1:57:20Speaker 2: to the to the wheat industry. So it was just
- 1:57:23Speaker 2: we were sold a huge lie that protein way up
- 1:57:28Speaker 2: at the top, to whatever up the top two. Second
- 1:57:32Speaker 2: tier should be at the very bottom, mainly protein, mainly protein,
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: vegetables and fruits. And then you know, if you're gonna
- 1:57:40Speaker 2: do dairy and stuff, which I don't do dairy, you say,
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: grass fed butter.
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: I try to stay away from dairy just because I'm
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: I will just follow whoever. Yeah, you know, if you're like, hey,
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: this is the best route to go, I'm like done.
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: I'm not touching dairy ever.
- 1:57:52Speaker 2: Again.
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: I pretty much just stay away from gluten and dairy.
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: But I mean, your boy, yeah, but you're you're a
- 1:57:59Speaker 2: big guy who always trying to keep weight on as
- 1:58:01Speaker 2: well too.
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: Now right now, not right now, I'm at like to
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: eighty six, so I think I'm gonna bump it back down,
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: probably try to get in the seventies.
- 1:58:10Speaker 2: There you go sixties, maybe nimble that's the fifth nimble,
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: that's the fifties, that just dabble in the fifties.
- 1:58:16Speaker 1: So you think you think the carnivoard is like the
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: move for all that, but just staying lean, I like,
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:58:20Speaker 2: I've I've liked it, I've enjoyed it, Yes, staying lean
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: for sure. And then and then if you follow, like
- 1:58:25Speaker 2: you know, the two people really to follow, like liver
- 1:58:27Speaker 2: king carnivore MD.
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: So you you are a supporter of liver k liver king,
- 1:58:31Speaker 1: Uh is a strong word, but.
- 1:58:33Speaker 2: He's not exactly You're a supporter kind of a you know,
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: he's turned himself heast turned himself into he's turned himself
- 1:58:39Speaker 2: into a straight up you know meme guy where he's
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: just doing crazy stuff. But yeah, do I think that, uh,
- 1:58:46Speaker 2: generations before us ate a lot more organs than we do.
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: Absolutely do. I think organs have been demonized and carbohydrates
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: have been praised, you know, absolutely, And I think it's backwards.
- 1:58:58Speaker 2: You know, eating nose to tail is is UH is
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: something that should be looked at because that's you know,
- 1:59:05Speaker 2: generations before us eat that way, you know, not being
- 1:59:08Speaker 2: afraid of liver heart and testines, kidneys. I haven't eat testicle.
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: Yeah they had to, but who knows if they wanted to,
- 1:59:19Speaker 2: you know what. Well, but also but a little bit
- 1:59:20Speaker 2: of brand, it'll change your life, yeah, in a bad way. Spots.
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: Over the weekend, we had.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: Three meals the whole weekend, two of them at Mister Spots,
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: which is like Billy cheese, steak wings, chili cheese, fries, milkshakes,
- 1:59:38Speaker 1: and then we went to like a nice little steakhouse
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: which is service, by the way, awful, awful service, but
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: the food's pretty good.
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you're talking to a guy. I just had
- 1:59:46Speaker 2: pizza the other night. So I still pizza one night
- 1:59:48Speaker 2: and was guilty about that, right, you know, last time
- 1:59:51Speaker 2: I had pizza was that at our at our Memorial
- 1:59:53Speaker 2: Day party or whatever party that was. That was the
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: last time I had pizza. Pizza last night, and then yeah,
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: and then just tonight, and then are whatever three nights ago,
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: whatever night it was, And uh, I'm not going back.
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: It's not going back. Steaks carbs is zero carbs. Well,
- 2:00:10Speaker 2: I mean I get car car you get carbs from vegetables.
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: I really enjoyed eating a lot of dates this training camp, actually,
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: which obviously is sugars, which is carbs. But it also
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: helped me stay regular. But when I say carbs, I
- 2:00:23Speaker 2: mean when what When you think of carbs, you think
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: of grains, pastas, reds, potatoes, those those things. Sweet potato
- 2:00:32Speaker 2: used sparingly a little bit. If you're training hard. The
- 2:00:34Speaker 2: problem is everybody listening to this, chances are they don't
- 2:00:37Speaker 2: train hard enough to actually need that mint that much carbs.
- 2:00:41Speaker 2: So how do you keep your energy while you're working out? Bats?
- 2:00:44Speaker 2: Rotein and mental and physical intestinal fortitude of a Missouri
- 2:00:51Speaker 2: boy lock in Missouri guys, dude show. But I mean
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: the UFC makes all of our meals throughout fight week
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: and stuff. So after after my after my weigh ins
- 2:01:03Speaker 2: and stuff, I was eating a decent amount of carbs.
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: I was eating a lot of sweet potato and stuff.
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: And I even questioned it. I was like, hey, I
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: haven't been doing a lot of carbs, and he's like,
- 2:01:10Speaker 2: it's okay, throw some carbs in there. So energy level
- 2:01:13Speaker 2: felt fine for the fight. Whether it looked that way
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: or not, I'm sold.
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: I'm carnivor or now can steaksw months grilling it out
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: weekly updated pictures there you go, Just send me a
- 2:01:24Speaker 1: picture of your steaks back and forth every single time
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: you're on top, only doing red meat.
- 2:01:29Speaker 2: Uh, that's mainly what I like, because I feel like
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: it's so hard to find chicken that's not just pumped
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: full of minkey grow thirty er chickens on one of
- 2:01:38Speaker 2: that Jack Kangaroo.
- 2:01:39Speaker 5: You think it's hard to find chicken, we have the
- 2:01:42Speaker 5: perfect chicken for you right now that this episode is
- 2:01:46Speaker 5: actually going to be presented by Oh yeah.
- 2:01:49Speaker 2: Yeah angles angles o, my god, A little surprised. We
- 2:01:58Speaker 2: got there. We go hand breaded with joy and breaded
- 2:02:02Speaker 2: with joy, That's what it says. He appreciate that, appreciate that.
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: Oh we got here. I'm Carnival now.
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: I can't beat that bread and just caning. Hey bo
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: Jingles does hit though.
- 2:02:14Speaker 2: That's good. You know about to open that thing up.
- 2:02:18Speaker 2: I just want to take a peek. What's it talking about?
- 2:02:22Speaker 2: That it starts till tomorrow, dude. The diet started today
- 2:02:28Speaker 2: and I went off yesterday. Boys, I went off yesterday.
- 2:02:34Speaker 2: Oh how good was that? Buddy? So I didn't tell
- 2:02:37Speaker 2: you boys.
- 2:02:37Speaker 1: We got back from the airport Atlanta in Nashville, Tailor
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: texts me, hey, can you pick me? Up at the
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: airport at twelve thirty. Uh huh, oh really yeah, So
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: I said yes and I did it. So then I
- 2:02:50Speaker 1: went to the best soft serve ice cream place of
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: all time.
- 2:02:53Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:02:53Speaker 1: Yes, got a blizzy What did you get either? They
- 2:02:57Speaker 1: had a pumpkin pie one was the fall mood. So
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: I got the pumpkin pie one large. Then I pick
- 2:03:04Speaker 1: up tailor, go to the house, get a little hungry
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: shake shack burger fries.
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: Gosh, shake, no way, what kind of shake? Goodie?
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: It gets worse, bro, yes, yeah, it gets worse. Then
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: everyone's coming, like not, everyone's coming over to sale. Had
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: some family in town. Her friend Natalie came into came
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: over the house, and we're like, hey, we're watching Yellowstone.
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: Yellowstone wasn't washed, but pizza was ordered, and so it
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: was cold Stone Creamery.
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, you had you had a ten thousand calorida.
- 2:03:34Speaker 1: I went off yesterday and I kept by playing that
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: little mind game, you know, you talk like we were
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: talking the other day, like hey, it starts tomorrow, Like
- 2:03:41Speaker 1: it starts tomorrow. So I'm like guilt free eating I
- 2:03:44Speaker 1: feel like a piece of shit, Like you feel so
- 2:03:45Speaker 1: bad after eating pizza twice in the last six months.
- 2:03:47Speaker 2: I'm like, listen to my day yesterday.
- 2:03:50Speaker 4: That's a personal problem, though. The dude like, yeah, cool,
- 2:03:57Speaker 4: how God.
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: Went a little crazy day. I woke up today, clear eyes,
- 2:04:02Speaker 1: full heart. I'm ready to start. Are you good? I'm
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: ready to go right now. I got to work out
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: in got buried. I don't know if you guys can
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: fuck it was legs, So yeah, it starts today. I
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: haven't eaten yet today, though, what time is it either
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: twelve one one? I had lunch at one thirty at
- 2:04:22Speaker 1: the house boys and be like, no vegetables, no cars.
- 2:04:26Speaker 3: I'm late about to have the easiest life of life
- 2:04:28Speaker 3: of all time, like cooking for carnivore, you know, yeah,
- 2:04:32Speaker 3: steak and butter on top of you're.
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: Gonna beat me, souvie sere done? Hey, literally do you
- 2:04:37Speaker 2: have to butter?
- 2:04:38Speaker 1: I get, I get like this is a weird fear,
- 2:04:40Speaker 1: but I'm kind of I'm kind of I'm fearful of dairy.
- 2:04:43Speaker 1: I know what I just said yesterday, but I'm saying
- 2:04:45Speaker 1: when I'm taking my I'm not lactose in tolerant at all.
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: I've done my blood work and they're like, yeah, you're
- 2:04:51Speaker 1: good with dairy. But for whatever reason, I'm like, I
- 2:04:53Speaker 1: feel like there's also an enemy. Like when I'm going
- 2:04:55Speaker 1: crazy like I did yesterday, I have no issue, there's
- 2:04:57Speaker 1: no problem. I'm not getting up in the middle of
- 2:04:59Speaker 1: night shit in my pants. But I also like, if
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: I'm taking my shit serious, which I do now, I
- 2:05:05Speaker 1: look at I look at that butter. I look at
- 2:05:07Speaker 1: that butter, and I get nervous. It starts today, boys.
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: Everything starts at some point, and it was always day
- 2:05:13Speaker 1: one at some point the bus, first Nago bus, and
- 2:05:15Speaker 1: ball was Saturday. At eight hundred years from now, they'll
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: be talking about what a legendary trophy.
- 2:05:20Speaker 2: Game this is.
- 2:05:21Speaker 3: But I had to start it sometime, and you can
- 2:05:23Speaker 3: always pause it. What do you mean you can always
- 2:05:26Speaker 3: pause the diet? No, But I'm saying you can't. You're
- 2:05:31Speaker 3: saying no right now for me, like the minute you break,
- 2:05:34Speaker 3: you failed.
- 2:05:35Speaker 2: You can't work like that.
- 2:05:36Speaker 4: You gotta have some fluidity with your with your lifestyle.
- 2:05:39Speaker 1: I should be taking notes my boys got year ten Eliven. Well,
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: I'm saying you can be taking like, Hey, I'm carniable.
- 2:05:44Speaker 3: Guess what I'm carnival right now. I might pause it
- 2:05:46Speaker 3: when I eat this Bojangles real quick. Yeahs. Yeah, it
- 2:05:51Speaker 3: gets my system. You press play, you can plays.
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: Not a diet it is, it's not a diety pause.
- 2:05:58Speaker 4: You're confined by the ways of sciety has put these
