  Well, here's what we're gonna talk about. Have you ever had a vehicle breakdown?

  You say to yourself, oh my goodness, what do I do?

  Where do I take the car? Well, immediately you would think, well,

  the car was bought at a dealership. Let's go to the dealers.

  That's what we did. Was that the biggest mistake? Absolutely.

  You know what we should have done? We should have taken it to the one place

  that I know is honest, is courteous, is professional, and will not give you a false testimony.

  They will tell you what's right with the vehicle. They'll tell you what's wrong

  with the vehicle. But more importantly, they'll fix it to the best of their abilities.

  for us. So let's break this down real quick for you.

  Back in November, we had problems with my wife's vehicle.

  We went to AutoZone. They checked the battery. The battery said it was okay.

  It was in good shape. So, you know, because the car didn't start.

  So we decided, you know what? Let's run it a little bit. And a couple of days

  went by and started having problems.

  So we decided it was in our best interest to probably go to the dealer.

  We went to the dealer. They said, no, the battery is actually defective.

  Of course, they charge you over $150 for a diagnostic check to tell you that.

  Then they charge you an additional $200 for a battery. You're out of there at $421.36.

  What can we do? It is what it is. We figured the dealer wouldn't lie to us, right?

  Yeah, okay. it. So we, we, I think, you know, we were going with this.

  So here we are in January, the car's starting having more problems.

  So we called the dealership and said, look, we know we bought a battery with
• 2:47
  you guys. Now the batteries need to be charged.

  They go well with the frigid temperatures. That's probably what's going on.

  Come over here. It's under warranty.

  We will fix out the battery and we'll take care of it. Okay.

  We brought it there, left it overnight. They waited pretty much eight hours
• 3:01
  to tell us that it wasn't the battery. The battery was in great shape,
• 3:04
  but it was our alternator and it would cost us $1,100. That's right. You heard it here.

  $1,100 just for an alternator.

  That's not including labor and tax. When it was all said and done,
• 3:17
  it would have been over $3,000.

  If I went with a brand new alternator, that'd be $2,300 plus labor and tax.

  Now we're over $4,000. $4,000.

  We didn't think so. So what did we do? We took it to 86 Auto World.

  Why? Because I know the gentleman that runs the place, and I knew that he runs
• 3:37
  a very, very equipped and professional facility.

  When I took it there, he did all his diagnostics, and he determined,

  wait a minute, there is no problem with this alternator.

  Did an alternator test, gave me a thorough examination of what the testings
• 3:55
  were done, explained everything. His girl in the front desk,
• 3:59
  I forget her name and I apologize. She was phenomenal.

  She explained all the diagnostics. And guess what it was, guys? It was the battery.

  So for $200 and change, the battery was replaced.

  We walked out of there. The car drove out of there. And now we are in the process
• 4:17
  of disputing the charges at Honda.
• 4:20
  Now, will this episode go to Honda? Absolutely.

  Will we be disputing the charges and make sure I get our money back? Absolutely.

  But what is the point of this whole message? The message is this,

  do not give false testimony.
• 4:35
  I'm in the process right now in ministry school listening to Gospel of Mark and it's in there.

  False testimony is something that God does not like. Do not lie to people.

  Do not tell somebody something just to make money because they feel that it
• 4:49
  is in their best interest to better themselves, better the company, better their workers.

  Don't take money out of our pockets, especially when we're not doing well with money.

  You know, there's so many people that wouldn't even know to go to somebody else.

  They would just pay off that ransom, because I'll call it that,

  and then be out of three, three, four, $5,000 of money and think their car is fixed.

  That's a no-go for us here at Half Faith. Let it begin. So this message is to

  When you have a place that you want to go, when you have an uncertainty of who
