- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure I'll have it up and running tomorrow.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have it for tomorrow morning.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: But it is building the Broncos a Tuesday night.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: I am Nick Kendall joined by Carl Dummer Carl.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's good to see you.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: I attempted the last week to drive out and join me for the Raiders game.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe best for not since he didn't.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: That was an ugly game.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: But a win is a win.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: They're hard to come by.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: You take him as you can get him, but it's good to see you.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: Even though I feel like I slightly spurned or adulthood lover, since you turn me away for your kids, I mean, come on.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: And I know, I got to get my priorities right here.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: I have time to show though.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: Good luck entertaining.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: It was amazing.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: It really was awesome.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm sad that I missed that.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, it was still a Broncos win.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe it wasn't the most boring prime time game
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I guess you could maybe say so what we'll have to see how that goes but but now finally made to chiefs week very excited about that I went to a school event just right before I came here and living in Kansas.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: we'll see.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I'm taking down names so that I can chase these people down on Monday and say, hmm, we'll see how that went.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: You know, hopefully that's the case that I get to chase them down and have a big smile on my face.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: But what puts a big smile on my face is pop a bear coming in here David Mickle-Rath saying good evening Broncos country 13 and 4 I mean Denver won't pass to Played the same they played in the first half to get to that 13 and 4 mark already actually one win closer to that at the eight win mark already So possible I'll tell you what this is a ships in the night kind of game are the fork on the road kind of game for the Broncos you beat the chiefs at home
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: World is your oyster and a granite is not a must win by any means, but if you win this one, you should be feeling pretty pretty pretty good.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: So good to see you pop a bear hope you're doing well.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: Happy Tuesday night to you.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: Also Scott and our private chat.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: I did see Scott this weekend.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: Him and his medicine Sean.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: So we had a very delicious breakfast.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: He was out here in the Denver Colorado area checking out some things so good to see Scott as well.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, a lot of we'll talk more about that tomorrow.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to make you two jealous Carl could it could have been all three of us, but no, it's a family of stay family stuff, whatever.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Chase Wellner coming in here.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see you appreciate you Chase.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: Bummer on the injury could be talking about Alex Singleton.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're probably obviously talking about JK Dobbins here, but we got news to get to on that ant or read.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: Special teams linebacker ending up on IR the hamstring injury.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: It says JK conversation about JK because this was an awkward tackle.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I feel like it's hard to call in real time.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's something that, did they find the guy who did it?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure they did.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: They did.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would take some time.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like I didn't even, a granite, I was at the game.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I had some adult beverages.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I was sitting up pretty high.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: But I didn't even notice it when it happened.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that's a real bummer.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: And right now, I mean, what we all we have at concrete is ideas of a foot,
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: lower body ankle injury and Chris Thomason Thomason, I wish I could give the name my Denver.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: One of the him and my close to like the best to probably incitors.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: He said the brock was our weighing IR, short term IR for Daven.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's, he's not playing versus the chiefs, I think he's not playing versus the chiefs.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's pretty obvious.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they're weighing, is this going to be a three-week injury, and we can bring it back, or is this four weeks we might as well go and put them on IR.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: And really, it's five weeks if you're going to do IR, since the by week doesn't count, yep.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, it was a good sign.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't put them on IR today.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: there's gonna be a couple other hurdles.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Saturday's gonna be the big one.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: If he's not on IR by Saturday, probably means he's not going on IR.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: Probably means that they feel like he could be back in the next couple weeks.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: And it just thinks that this is the game.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: All the games for him to miss, it's this one.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing with, I don't know about PS2 yet.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have to see you on Sertan.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm guessing he's gonna miss this game.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: I would assume.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: Guess mother injuries like you said that if come up a couple of the guys possibly going on I are and it just it's sad to see I wish we could be at full strength, but at this point the season nobody's at full strength
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're not.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate everyone coming in and good to see a chase.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Click the thumbs up on the way and like, subscribe, share, become a member or drop a super chat, like Denver Luke said a good game on the Oregon, Iowa game, Nick, go ducks.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was a, that was a rock fight.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Man, it was an ugly game.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: I wish it was a little colder in winter, even just for the aesthetics.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: I love these decks, so it's no game, especially sitting at home underneath my blanket with my dog.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: Next to me, that's always the best.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that was a good game.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: And hopefully you guys go on and do some stuff in the,
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: the playoffs as well.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll see what happens.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: I always season for playoffs is done, but that's okay.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: It is definitely a bummer at the time.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Just Denver has gotten the opposite of the late game luck that the Broncos have.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: Luck sounds like they didn't deserve it, but it's just like the fortune, you know, where it chips my fall.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: So appreciate you coming in with a super chat, Denver Luke, and yeah, the Broncos.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: Iowa was a home underdog in the Broncos are a home underdog coming up here four points right now as well.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're curious about maybe getting in, or excuse me, no, we've got the wrong one there.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be a close, uh, could be a close shave for the Broncos.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: This week of Denver's had a lot of close shaves.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: This week, I see.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: I saved it.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: there you go.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: Talking about shaving.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: If you're still figuring out gifts, house vatalyst is a no-brainer.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect for your brother, your roommate, or even yourself when someone asks, what you want, and you don't feel like thinking.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: Their grooming kits make it simple to clean up, and they actually look as good on the counter as they feel in your hand.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: The razor's weighted handle, a precision trim edge, make it effortless to get a smooth, clean shave every time.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: something most razors just don't do.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: In the best part, you can grab them at target stores nationwide or online at target.com, so you don't have to overthink it.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's right guys.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Atlas has redefining men's grooming with premium tools and products designed to look good, feel good and actually perform.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: I love the razors because they feel solid in your hand.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's not flimps like disposable razor and a precision trim edge makes dealing under the nose, sideburns and edges, simple and precise.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: little, I'll share too much here.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how good the camera is, but sometimes I've got a, you know, clean between the eyebrows here, as well.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: So that precision edge is very, very handy.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: Beyond the shade, the shaving cream and aftershave elevate the routine with their refreshing and subtle signature scent, making grooming feel more like self care than a chore.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: So don't stress over last minute gifts or settle for shaving products that don't deliver this holiday season, give yourself or someone on your list, the upgrade they deserve with a
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, absolutely, we've got Nick Henson coming to be a long show tonight.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about long, but we do got a lot to get to Michael Ronkillo coming to earn maybe him at long because of the vertical integrities on his phone.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe that's what it is.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Ronkillo, good evening, Nick and Carl and Bill and the Broncos are guy.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Thompson is not going to be too active, but Denver, 27, 20.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's active enough.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the comment.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: I like the good vibes as well.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Ernie Mays, Gilbraco's country only.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: We got in Sentinel Supreme, a member, of course, rocking out with us here.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: SS as evening Jens happy Tuesday.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's Kansas City Week.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Three words beat the chiefs.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'll add forward.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's beat the bleep and chiefs.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is our Super Bowl.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: I hope it's not our Super Bowl, but it's a big game.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: We beat them.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how we miss the playoffs and I don't know if Kansas City makes a playoffs.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is, I think Kansas City will still probably make the playoffs regardless of the, this outcome, the jags are kind of, I don't know, buy the jags at all.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't buy the Steelers at all.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think somehow the Ravens and the Chiefs do work their way in, but God, it would be nice to put your foot on their throat for the AFC West in this game.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think I saw from,
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember who it was.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: It was probably FTN, but the Denver's chance to win the division, go up to like 80% if they win this game, and the chiefs actually are the favorite, if they win the division, if they win this game.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a huge game.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: And Sean Payton as soon as they lost that bill's game is like next year, we got to have a home playoff game.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: Even if they're the second best team in the AFC, if you don't finish first in your division, you're not hosting a bull.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: I guess in some, you're not hosting a first round playoff game.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to beat the chiefs if your goal
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and this the players have talked about this, if you're going to be the top of the division, you have to beat the teams that have been at the top of the division.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: And especially defend your home court, your well not home court home field.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: And and this is that opportunity Broncos have been one of the best teams at home.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think they have the longest home winning streak in the NFL right now.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: And so hopefully that crowd getting
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: getting rowdy out there in Denver and making life very, very, very difficult for my homes getting calls in and then that past rush, just saying, you know, I had a chief span today.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: He was talking about that a big Ozone, man, I can't wait till we beat up Botanix and like, I don't think that's the quarterback that's getting beat up in this game.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: Chiefs don't have a great past rush, Broncos do.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll have to see who their tackles are gonna be.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know right now because of injuries
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: possibly coming back from, yeah, all that kind of stuff.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: But we got XMKT midhead, Sam building the Broncos.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's off there.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's making fun of Boss Man making the stream at the top.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's building the Broncos.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I saw that all the time in the morning shows, so I can't give Chad too much of a hard time.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: If I get the score right sometimes before I've had the coffee, uh, it coursed through my veins.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's like, that's a win for me.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: Roy, get a seed boy.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: When I read guys, good evening.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: The answer to the room is JK, I think we are in trouble, uh, in trouble Sunday.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, there it is.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Mike also didn't, it's not our Super Bowl.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not our Super Bowl.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's, he loses this game, it's not a must win, but if your goal is winning the AFC West,
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: but you need to win this game.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: You need to win Joey Drab.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see, and T Martin says, his PS2 plan went through it.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: Andry News will get an officially injury report tomorrow.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: For Wednesdays, since we're kind of doing that, but Creen Read, depth linebacker,
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: state special teams linebacker.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: He goes on IR with a hamstring, so he'll be missing five weeks.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: Alex Singleton, I don't know if he was officially placed on IR yet, but we haven't talked about it yet, announced a testicular cancer, shout out to the random drug test of the NFL.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: One of his hormone levels was off, and he knew he wasn't taking anything, so played that game against the Texans, and then did a lot of testing and found out what it was, played the game Thursday night, and then Friday morning had surgery.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Also, it sounds like because of
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: The Walton Piner group in Broncos ownership, they did everything like super duper or quick efficient, the surgery wasn't invasive because of how much like testing and imaging they could do with like
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a step above state of the art so shout up to them as well using that money for some good stuff here for Alex singleton and shout it out because he I mean play and through that is insane.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean got the toughness and just I mean they're insane people all the football players are insane to go out there and do that but like to do that isn't incredible and then to share the
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: The news and the journey that he's on now if everybody even have to do that and his reasoning of like if it can like get one more person to, you know, do cancer screening very important.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure you guys are doing your checkups.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Go into doctors appointment, scheduling that stuff.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: But if it can say one person, it's worth it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: So shout out to him all around.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: We've been tough on him this season, right?
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: He really struggled out of the gate, but there's no doubt about the toughness and character that guy and the green dot were for the Broncos defense.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: So just beyond football, we're all thinking and pulling for you.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: And it does sound like it's best case scenario for everything.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that's amazing.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, he could be back this season, which is crazy to think about.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_02]: And you're right, I mean, the fact that he played in that game on Thursday didn't tell his teammates
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: didn't let it stop him from, I think he played every single defensive snap in that game.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: And you think about, I think about the interception, or he was the guy directing, like, get over here, come over here and you know, and laying a incredible block that just bring him for a few more yards, just all around, you can see why players voted him to be a team captain.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Might not be the best player.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: But actual guy in the locker room, he's an A-plus in that category for the Broncos, and the Broncos will miss him.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like I said, that green dot part, or he's one getting the call.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: He's one getting people everybody in the right position.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: I've been one that I've been excited about the idea of Sternard and Greenlaw being on the field together, but I am worried about some miscommunications in this game.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: Especially the can.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, especially against the chiefs who are going to come and off a buy.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: They usually have a couple of wrinkles that you don't usually see.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: That are that they haven't shown so far this year.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: So he'll be missed, but I'm sure he'll be on that sideline trying to get guys pumped up ready to go and and just they attitude that he has, you know, like he like I said, I mean he's willing to go share this had a good attitude about the whole thing just was a very thankful person and through the whole process and so, so wish him well and and same thing with JK Dobbins.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: We're assuming like I said that he's going to miss this game.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know 100% sure.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we'll get a big surprise and things will be okay.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: Please let that be the case because he is such a big part of this offense.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: But right now it is kind of looking like it's going to be the RJ Harvey show.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: And Could be the Tyler Medation.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: And it could be that too.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to walk in getting some emergency.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to have to mix it up.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: And this is going to be a really, really big game for a lot of first and second year players.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to have to step up of a bonus.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: Can't play like you did against the Raiders and win this game.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's got Cox.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, that's not happening for one.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, you never know.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: We'll play the game and we'll see how it plays out.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, thanks for coming back.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: Come back next week.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: And let's see if you still have the same fire about you.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: But no, RJ Harvey, again, it's going to be a really, really fun to see what he can do, getting more carries and maybe he gets a little bit of rhythm and can actually not just be trying to go 100 miles an hour every single play.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's one of the great things about JK Dobbins is he is one of the most patient runners we've had in a long time, and
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: Cody W coming in saying with JK possibly out Harvey is still a better back than what we had last year and we played darn good against them last year.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: Harvey, he's such a hard player to figure out because it's a lot of one yard game, one yard game, 50 yard game.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_02]: And so I mean, you can he's definitely the home run hitter.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: And then you talk about his ability as a receiver.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: That's a huge weapon to have for the Broncos, for sure.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: I just wish we could see a little bit more consistent trust to go pick up the yards that it's blocked for.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: Go pick up four or five yards and be okay with it.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Live for the next play.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to have every single play, be a 50 yard game.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: There's just times where I feel like he's in set or hurry just to go make a big play that he misses the obvious getting north south and just go pick up the arts.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: He is explosive, but it hasn't really manifested itself as much as a runner.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: I know he had that big run against the Titans, but his explosive rush rate is not very good.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think out of running back with 25 carriers, he's 50 first in that ranking.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: And unfortunately, he's one of the least efficient rushers of the football in the entire football league.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: So far out of rushers with that least 50 carries on the year.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: He has the second worst success rate down to down.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's not manifested himself as a between the tackles runner yet and he hasn't been able to grind out yards like a lot of time I don't know if you watched the game last night.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: It was ugly, but like Josh Jacobs he's hit You know gaining two yards and he brumbles forward for another three or four
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: you're not getting out Harvey.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're just not, and that's not always Harvey's fault.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like, Broncos are not really good at blocking at tight end.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: Franklin and Mims not very good blockers either.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Sutton's honestly been a little bit disappointing there this season as well.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not all on that, but where Harvey's really become.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: exceptional has been in the past game so you hopefully you can add a little bit of a wrinkle it doesn't even have to be a runner And you pass blocking really great as well if we get that from Harvey if either of those two areas because he's been coming much more useful piece, but he's useful now No, can we're going to be a much more impactful player, but
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll see what the Broncos do with this one.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: It could be, I mean, honestly, it could be McLaughlin out there for the early down stuff because he's out of all three of the backs has a little bit more track record of the early down between the tackles running a little bit more vision and pacing, but we'll see it's going to be an interesting one.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking for anything to how poorly he's played the last couple games and when he's run, he's been dynamic, but you don't want to make him run if he's hurt.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm almost wondering if there's something there that we don't know, uh, fully with him right now.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I haven't seen it so far.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll see it this week.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but I wouldn't bet on it by any means.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, Brock was, we're gonna have a hard time replacing JK Dobbins.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: The Brock was running with JK Dobbins as the, honestly, the only thing they do well down to down on offense right now is JK Dobbins running other than the past protection.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: We'll give them credit to.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, we got Phil coming in saying good evening, Nick Carl and Deacon Scott is this the game Harvey throws a touchdown to bow.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: That would be better than the Sutton trick play hashtag
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm hoping there's not too many trick plays unless we're down and we just need something big to happen.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Then maybe you tip something like that harby throwing a touch down.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: I do think that's probably going to be attempted at some point this this year.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: Philly special just yeah, I mean, he's had the direct snap a few times this year and honestly, I think that's been more his.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: Those have been some of the more successful runs in short yardy situations as when he has the direct snap because then he's kind of got a little bit more vision of where he's going and there's not a, hey, this is the whole year going.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's more, you can go two way if you need to.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then yeah, throwing in that wrinkle of him being able to throw a touchdown pass, could be a fun little wrinkle if you really need it.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure if the chiefs are the team to do that against their very disciplined team.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: They don't usually fall for that kind of stuff.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_02]: You haven't done it all year, maybe this is the game that you bring out a few of those kind of things just to go get the win.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think the Broncos need to do it to win.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_02]: Really, most of the games, the Broncos, they should have won big and a lot of these games, they destroy themselves.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the stupid penalties that stop some of the good drives that they've had going.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: Some of the play calls, I mean, I'm not gonna say Sean Peyton is completely innocent in this.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: The third and one when your run game is actually working and then you throw in the trick play to Sutton.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not a great sequence of plays there.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: And then, don't knock this in the eyes.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: Not a good indicator of faith in your offense.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, Bonix missed a lot of open guys, receivers with their drops.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's just been so many things that you look at and you say, okay, you guys have destroyed yourself.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: There's only been like a couple games that you were, I felt like the other team really outplayed the Broncos.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: The whole game?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: I, I would say even like the Houston game, I felt like they maybe outplayed us a little bit.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: But it broke even.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: That was one that could have gone either way.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe the Eagles game too.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was one that could have gone either way.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: Those were the only games.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I guess you could say the giant's game because of the 33 point come back, but at the same time, like, you could tell there, there was something getting ready to break for them and there was just magic in that day anyway, because we were there, but really, like I said, most games, the Broncos have outplayed their opponent.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: They've won in the trenches big time on both sides of the ball.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: and hopefully this is another one of those games where they should win in the trenches.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: Chiefs are not great on the defensive line.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Jones is good.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: Don't get me wrong.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think he's playing at the level that he has these last few years.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: They car loft this is okay, but I wouldn't call him a game changer by any means.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: And so I do think the Broncos can get something going with their offensive line.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: Both should have time to throw the ball.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_02]: It is just a matter of hopefully he doesn't get ripped up by some of the scheme that you're going to see, it's back in a little bring to the table.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's the issue.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: The chiefs run the most cover zero of any team in football and they will bring the heat now bonus does get rid of the ball quickly.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: But can you do that accurately and can you read it pre-snap?
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: They run covers your 9% of the time.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody else runs it more than 6% of the time.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: So they're sending 6-7 guys fairly, fairly often.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty incredible.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they, well, they're linebackers and they're password edging, you know, not dollar, they're really a bend speed guys.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: They got some power at mine back with those rushers too.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like Leo Chanel Can bring the frickin boom.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably one of the strongest line backers in all the football So again, it's gonna be luckily you have some quick Options in the backfield that I mean you call that and you get the right pass the right play at the right time It could be six, but yeah, yeah, they Spagnola has to manufacture pressure pressure.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what they do.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean if I was the chiefs
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: I would not blitz because right now it feels like going X to C and ghosts a little bit right and like he's bailing on pockets when he doesn't need to.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, even when there's not pressures like why allocate bodies to it, I'd be dropping guys in the zone now I would be like playing games with him like.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: wine backers coming, head pressure dropping into the flat kind of thing like who's coming who's going.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be doing that.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: But I'd be dropping, I would only rush for pretty often in this one.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I'd mostly play zone coverage because, well, Bonix has been pretty good against man the season.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos pass off.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just Bonix, but they've really struggled against zone.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that's, that's what I would do if I was spags.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: You can still be creative and aggressive with your pressure without actually
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: sending six guys.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll see, maybe they'll just do what they've done this season, but you're right.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to say a little bit more people in here Carl started to cut your off a flying angle.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let's release the beast, Julio McLaughlin.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this seems like a game like, uh, McLaughlin goes off and everybody's like, oh, we, where was he?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: The whole, the whole time.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Davis, too, so that Pecheco, that's, we both lost our battering him, uh, battering
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: whatever D&D word it is.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm watching out for the ring.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: I should know what it is.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, no, that's that's helpful for Denver for sure.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be curious, honestly, I'm gonna talk about the chief defense versus Broncos offense, but Broncos defense versus chief offense.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really curious to you what the chiefs try to do in this game, what they for some was, or she writes out there and the speed options they have in Travis Kelsey, they're built to be finesse, but man, you are messing with fire.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: If you are having Patrick McClellan's third of the ball 50 times, because the Broncos are literally hurting quarterback so far this season.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think opposing teams are something like one in nine after playing the Broncos.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_02]: And the only team that has a victory is the cults playing the Titans.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: I say the cults.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's not true anymore because the Texans came back to be the jacks.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, there you go.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: So now it's two to an eight to an eight.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: We'll give it that.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: But we got flying anger pig with coming back and saying, honestly, what has the chiefs got out of the film, the Broncos produced the last few games?
- 25:15[SPEAKER_02]: What was this part of the plan?
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: Hashtag I hope so.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_02]: Ashtag minutes it is back.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, that we did forget to mention that.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: from the 53-man roster, which is a really good sign that MIMS is fully healthy ready to go.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so we should have our returner back.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: Least can mostly trust that he's gonna handle that part of the game for us and not make a huge mistake.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_02]: And you're right.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's probably not a whole lot that the chiefs can watch other than, okay, this is how teams attack and Bronco struggle when they attack this way.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I do hope the Broncos come with a few different wrinkles.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think the problem is, the scheme has not always been the problem.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: Just because the play is not successful, doesn't mean that the scheme was bad.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: It can very much be a player's failed on the play, either drop pass, guy missed a block, quarterback didn't read it right.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there are so many things that you can look at that you can say, okay, that was not good.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was an old player of Sean Payton's, and he talked about that every week, Sean Payton would have like three or four plays, and he would just say, this is gonna be a touchdown.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: I guarantee this play will be a touchdown.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: If we run it right, this will work.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: And the players like, he was right.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: Most of those plays were the ones that we would go out there in score.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: And I think there's been a few of those this year where I was like, okay, yep, it got called just perfect at the right time,
- 26:52[SPEAKER_02]: And then either an overthrow guy missed their block, something happened that had destroyed what should have been a really, really good play for the Broncos.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: I got to execute, man, uh, hopefully, I think this is a very good coaching staff, and I think they've identified the right people, so I'm hoping there's a lot of self-scouting and internal improvement with the mini-buy and the bio-week coming up.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's just getting a little healthier, getting away from the facilities, and figuring out what works and what doesn't work and improving.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so we'll see.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's a Mark of a Good Team.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: Pearl Header says
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm happy we have green law here as well.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Drew Sanders has been activated.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what's going on with Sanders, but it does sound like Singleton is optimistic.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: He won't even go on IR with this, which is, I don't even know, put me on IR for even considering having to do that.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's unbelievable.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's a dude, but losing Dobbins is kind of hurt.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: Denver doesn't have anybody like him
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: Bonyx throwing it 50 times.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to do that and you don't want to I don't think you want to run him.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's hurt me.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll see what the Broncos do figured out.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be this is going to have to be a Sean Payton masterclass.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to have to be Bonyx stepping up and throwing the ball better than he has for most of the season.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that really outside of obviously.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: The two crazy fever dream quarters that were the fourth quarter against the Eagles and the Giants, he's only played two good games this year, two out of ten.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to excuse away and do all that, but I mean, there was also the results.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's only really had two good games, and they were against two of the bottom five defensive and football.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen them play good.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was their last year.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: He has the ability.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: So it's on him and the players around him to figure it out and do better.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: And they're going to have to with if Dobbins is out.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: William says a very surprised.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't the Sunday night game.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: This wasn't a Sunday night game.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I am also surprised, too.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's honestly the same in that game's pretty good from what I recall.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot recall who's, remember who's playing right now in Sunday night, but it's the money that I game that is, like avert your rides, hide the children.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's Cowboys Raiders.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's, they shouldn't have flexed that one a long time ago.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: What's really a bummer is the Ram Seahawks are on at the same time as the Broncos Chiefs.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: That stinks, that's really unfortunate because that's,
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: Probably the two best teams in football through the first half of the season.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see what happens there.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: We got Cassam fish fry coming in here.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to a vertical format.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we do have some vertical format now as well if you're watching on your phone.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I can see that you are.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: So let us know how you're liking it.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Finding your pig says maybe we throw more screens.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, we might have to throw more screens at the run goal and isn't there.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: And again, like you said, because we don't have that true between the tackles kind of guy, the three guys of Bade, McLaughlin and Harvey are all more get to the outside, use their athleticism to go make a play down the field kind of kind of guys.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: Bade has a little bit of ability, but we only saw it in the one game last year against Tampa Bay.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: And so do you really want him taking over those snaps.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: probably not.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: So you're right, it might be a little bit more of the horizontal get it out on the edges.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: Try to have those guys break a tackle, make a play kind of thing, and see if that can count as a little bit of a run game, just to keep the chiefs honest on that side of things.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_02]: But Scott got a space frame.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's Lion's Eagle Sunday night.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good game.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: I can keep that.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I think
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the other part of it is the Broncos Chiefs game, the next one, is on prime time.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_02]: So usually they don't have both games beyond prime time that you play of a divisional opponent.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_02]: If I remember right, they usually try not to have that happen just in case one of those teams is really bad.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: And so then you've got a couple bad games in that way.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, Broncos going 10 and 7 last year, it was great.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think people are still kind of in that.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: can we trust the Broncos?
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: Are they really that good?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: Are they really going to be a playoff team every year?
- 31:14[SPEAKER_02]: Usually, if you want to get those constant prime time games, you've got to get two, three years of multiple success, trusted quarterback, go to them place, that kind of stuff.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: And Hell comes in and says Broncos should be using Pat Bryan more than Troy Franklin.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, gosh, the bone extra trifling can pass might be one of the least efficient in the last decade of football with that any sort of substantial sample size.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's unbelievable how off they are constantly.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's it's uh, I don't know if it was like the Joe Flacco.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's got to be down there somewhere.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just chuck it and I don't know.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they'll hit the buffalo game right, but man, it is it's not a good connection right now.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: Right Franklin might be my most frustrating player on this roster right now, Guy.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Just, well, this last game, for example, the screen passed to him.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: He had two blockers out in front of him.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: Guy had blocked up really well and he just kind of ran into the defender.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: It was going to be a big play.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like that was that was set up really well.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: And for some reason, he just did not have the vision to.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: They inside he tried to cut outside for some reason and it just that's like when you're playing with your brother and he doesn't really like younger brother doesn't know the controllers and like okay I'm going to throw it to you what the heck are you doing like just push the wrong button I don't want it push the wrong button and Franklin I mean that there's talent there you see it I mean this is a guy that's getting open on a pretty regular basis.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: But every single game, there's at least that one play that you look at and go, Franklin, what are you, just destroys a drive.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's a drop, it's a fumble.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's not reading your blocks right.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's trying to do too much something.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I know at some point this year, he's gonna get an unsportsman like, then it'll be.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: because every big catch he has, he goes straight to the defender and gets in their face.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: And there's gonna be a time that he takes it too far.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: Most of the time his teammates have recognized that and they go straight to him and pull him away as quick as they can, but there is gonna be a play where he's gonna do something stupid that way.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where, like I said, Franklin is talented.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: but consistency becomes such a big part of what it takes to be in the NFL.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: And if you can't be trusted on a play by play basis, to go make the play you need to make.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of these are drops that are easy catches.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, some of them, there's a defender pretty close, but it's like it was put in the perfect spot and he just can't hold on to it.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: So there's time to love Franklin.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he had the touchdown in this last game, but then there's this play is where I'm just going, man,
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: I did want to, I don't know if we actually answered this, but what do the Chiefs got on the last few games?
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: Play zone against the Broncos.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: And you have a pretty good chance to stymie the the Denver offense.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: Apple kid comes in five dollars says, no, this is random.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: Would do you think the offense would look like with Brock Perty.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not insinuated anything just a thought.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, right now, Bonix is not really operating well in time.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's bailing quickly and his footwork is erratic.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I would imagine you probably, what does Denver right now offensively, like 18th and EPA?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think with how good the offensive line is.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I, again, it's frustrating watching the game live, but then you go back and say,
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Sean there guys you're designing open for the most right now some of them are hard throws like don't get me wrong, but not blocking all enough not throwing well enough not red not caught so
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're probably talking about like a marginally improved offense.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like right now they're 18th.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'd imagine you probably jump them up to like 12 or 11th, which honestly with this defense is probably enough to do some stuff.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not a Brock pretty guy by any means, but right now Denver just needs somebody to operate and execute what's in front of them.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: But again, that's in a lot of thanks and strength because how good the offensive line is this season as well.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Brock's a great quarterback personally.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think we can take away from what Bonax has been able to do in the fourth quarter for this team.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's your work.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: Where maybe yeah, you're playing with more leads in a lot of those games because there's a little bit more consistent of an offense under Brock Party.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: But you also might not have as much trust in those last minute moments when you need a play.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: That Brock Party's gonna come up with it compared to what Bonax has been able to do.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Bonax's legs have been a huge part of those fourth quarter comebacks.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's pretty good scramble though.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's been one of the better EPA scrambleers in football over the last few season.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: I was not as athletic But he's got a little bit of jazz to him as a scrambleer as well I'm not gonna argue with you on that.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: I just Bonex I think is really one of the most underrated running running quarterbacks in the NFL right now He doesn't do it as is often and then honestly I don't mind that too much
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: because, like I said, I'm looking at Jaden Daniels.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: There's season is toast because he can't stay healthy.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_02]: Jaden McCarthy can't stay healthy.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm looking at those kind of guys going, yeah, there's talent, but we can't see it on a regular basis.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: We're bone mixes in there every single week.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_02]: And it might not be the highest of highs like they have at times, but
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: But the same time, one of your biggest qualities that you can have as a player is your availability.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: And Denver Luke, come in and say, we need to wear out the all blues against Kansas City.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't have to be an aspirator anymore.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what is, I haven't seen anything on the uniforms yet.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: The night blues or whatever they call, I mean, I'm game, that's a classic matchup.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, sure, let's do it.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know what other games it makes sense for the Broncos do you got the commanders on the road you got the maybe the packers one wearing the blues against the packers would be great because Super Bowl 32 although I think the Broncos were the white uniforms and that one if I recall correctly so.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm game the blues at some point.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm definitely more team orange for the uniforms.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm definitely team throwback over anything.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, no, that's a, that'd be fun.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: That'd be fun as well.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: Battering him.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, thank you.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: And be like, that's prep.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: But everybody, I have my battle ham.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: I have to.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: When you go in there, he's right behind me here.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so some of it.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, man, this is going to be a pretty, pretty massive game obviously against the chiefs.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to ask you though.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: Would you consider this say, uh,
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: a must win.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know I hate that for is for everything, but I, I don't get the by week after that.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: I do wonder though, if you drop this one, you still got some games ahead of you, but this feels like a such just a such a crucial game for Denver.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: I, I don't call it a must win.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think I call it a statement win.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: where if you win this, it, like I said, it jumps us up to 82% winning the division and it really sets the rest of the league to go, okay, yep, this is the real deal.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, maybe maybe cut the Eagles on a bad day.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, you know, people can try to justify some of those, but you go in and beat the
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think it really makes the rest of the league go, okay.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: Rockos are real true Super Bowl contenders.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_02]: You lose this one.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: People are kind of like, well, you're pretty much what we thought you were.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's not got a few wins that you shouldn't have won.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, you'll get to the playoffs, but you're not going to be going to any kind of Super Bowl.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: So it's big in that way, like I said, being able to make a statement.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't, I mean, it hurts our playoff chances, but it Broncos are,
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's like a 90% chance right now that they make the playoffs with the record that they have.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's not many teams that go eight and two and then miss the playoffs.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: And, and you look at their remaining schedule, Washington without Jayden Daniels.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: You got the Raiders again.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: Jag wires are...
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what the Jaguars are.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: They were the Broncos two years ago when Denver was winning games with the unbelievable turnover lock.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: They had like nine more takeaways than anybody else through the first five games of the season.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, that's obviously gonna progress and once they do, what does it look like?
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's happening.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's happening.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: and chargers with that often supply and I think the Bronco stand a really good chance at home in that one to win that game.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: So I think even if you lose this one, there's still a really good chance you probably go 12 and 5 at worst.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: And that's a great season.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: But to really let the league know that you are a Super Bowl contender this year, it's to win this game.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I-
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: it's an important game.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I was as confident as you are about Denver winning these all these other games because they played down to their opponents every time so much this year and when you do that you add chance and chaos into the result.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, that jet's game, that giant's game, ball bounces the other way, Denver's got to lost there.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's something to be said about winning, but I think some of the stuff of like figuring out how to win close games and it gets
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: a little bit more narrative driven than actual reality.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's good to have the competence, but you could see it flip very quickly in a season year to year.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: I just think.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna attend to regress to the median eventually, either way.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: So, I hope hopefully they can take care of business.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_01]: And again, we talked about earlier, Denver played a lot of games in a row for and a lot of travel.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: And now you've got one game in 23 days.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: Rest up, self scout, get back in there, final stretch.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: Not too many home games left after this Kansas City one as well.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think two or three, three.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: So like, it's three and three left after the Kansas City game.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: Big stretch here coming up.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to get the fills coming here.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: So thanks to all the vets out there.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: God bless you all.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's this.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: I should have started the show with this.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually a little embarrassed that I didn't start the show.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: And one of which everybody and thank you for your service and happy veterans day out there and really do appreciate you.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: I know that gosh politics are what they are today.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: But we have the ability to do a lot of that stuff because of the veterans and all the sacrifices that these people you people make.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, seriously, yeah, he says here, God bless you all.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you all so much.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: Hi.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Shiloh, come in and says good evening, fellas.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: Haven't made a live show in a while.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it has been a bit.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's small.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: Come across like a dog tweet that are, uh,
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: Instagram reel that you like.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: I got their Shilohothia, the dog stuff again.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: We're on the same algorithm for that.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: But he says, glad to catch y'all.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hello to everyone.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see Shilohothia doing well.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully it's not getting too cold up there in Minnesota just yet.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I know it can this this time of year.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I will head snow this last week.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, it was spinning some snow in the the Oregon game as well.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: There's color on our has like no snow right now.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're like freaking out.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think the ski resorts are in some trouble.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like been one of the driest Octoberers in like 50 years.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: My lips are feeling it, man.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: I just like birds bees.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: This podcast brought to you by birds bees all over next lips.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: Patrick will see coming in here.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: This actually is brought by Lion Coffee.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: I messaged him Sunday in a panic.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Friday.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: saying like, dude, I am down to my last bag, SOS, and he said, I got you.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: So shout out to the Patrick coming in, hanging out, helping us out.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Brad comes in, happy veterans day.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the shout out on that Brad amplifier and that message as well.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously, all the injuries, big going on here, Carl.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: What would you say is the
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously, the biggest one is JK Dobbins, but like, how do the Broncos get around this JK Dobbins injury?
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what would you imagine it playing out?
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: How do you imagine it playing out?
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's really, it's going to be the offensive line taking another step up.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_02]: They've been great, but they're going to have to block their, you know, what's off?
- 43:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be tight ends taking a step forward.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be court and sudden recognizing, I've got to do a better job as a leader.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, that self-scout stuff.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I'd say Pat Bright, as somebody said earlier, get him on the field more.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to have a run game that could maybe be successful in this game, Pat Bright needs to be on the field.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: compared to Franklin being on the field, but even Pat Wright's been really, pretty darn solid as a receiver.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's been getting open.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's just been, he hasn't been seen as much as he probably should be.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I think I'd be willing to sacrifice that to make sure that the run game could have that ability to get to the edge, because that's going to be such a big part for these running backs.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: If they can get to the edge and get a little bit of a crease, RJ Harvey, Badeleum, all of them can really take it for a long, long carry.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_02]: Brad coming and saying happy veterans day.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you guys for saying it.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: It means a lot to us vets and Brad, thank you.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I've got to give the tip of the hat to you there on that for all your service and being out there.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I've been around in a little bit more since my wife joined the military.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_02]: She's very clear.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: She's not a vet yet.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, but I can still recognize that you have made sacrifices in this moment, but but no, I really do appreciate it, Brad, and thank you for being here tonight for, for with us.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: And, yeah, I think like I said, be able to get to those edges, rank and help with that, Portland Sutton, hopefully can do well as blocker in this one.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: And, and I'm hoping, the other big part of this is RJ Harvey.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's not had a game with a whole lot of carries.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe if you are getting him in the 15 to 18 carry mark, he doesn't feel as much pressure to have to have every play, be a big play.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you can have that conversation with them of, hey, pick up four or five yards.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: We're good with that.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like if we're at second and five, we feel a whole heck of a lot better than second and 10 or second and nine about what we can do with this offense.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe he can get a little bit more.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: understanding of this is the situation.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes you just got to go get what you can get.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: And the the big plays will come.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's wild.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: We'll just get there and and see what what it can what can happen.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'd say the other big part.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_02]: If you want your offense to get going.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_02]: And I know this is going to be tough for bone mix.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: Take away the deep shots.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_02]: They're not working.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: They're not hitting.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_02]: You can have a couple of them skimmed up for the game, but it just seems like almost every drive killer at this point has been a third and medium, and he's trying to hit a 50 yard play.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just not gonna happen.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: And we have Joe Ham saying, since we're not going to have JK, I think we should all have to do spawn from the practice squad.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: It was one of my top draft prospects.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_02]: What do you guys think?
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: Please touch on this topic.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm being from Kansas.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: I know the Kansas boy.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: Do Spawn is he's got some big playability.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: Don't don't get me wrong.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: There's a big difference between being able to do that at the college level and being able to do that at the NFL level.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Big trouble.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm not saying that you can't call him up, but right now I would say my three running backs would be
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: RJ Harvey, Tyler Badeh, and McLaughlin.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think those are the three trusted guys right now.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_02]: DuSvon, I think he's more going to be, you keep him around maybe next year, can be a year where you can see if he can bring something to the offense that you don't have right now.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: But everything that I'd want to do with DuSvon, I'd rather do with RJ Harvey.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think he can do it at a better level and I think he can have a better chance to actually break a tackle turn into a positive play.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_01]: I am always a skeptic at heart in the fact that you know, bounced around already Dallas was been had to misuse the running game last season, couldn't crack much of anything.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_01]: So you might have an opportunity for sure.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think right now, since McLaughlin has been inactive, just seems like the pecking order would quite obviously be McLaughlin first.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: They've had the many by a week and they've had some time to look at it too.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: So it might be a surprise.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to have a better idea internally because they have better eyes on what's going on in practice and the obviously the film room and everything like that as well going through the game plan.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not gonna work for one injury or one injury or way of him definitely beat being in the conversation.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: So God hopefully hopefully that doesn't happen.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: But if very fun player at Kansas State,
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: sometimes it doesn't translate as well, but he might get a shot.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm pulling from him.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's a fun player.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: He's a really fun at Kansas State, for sure.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, even though, don't really like climate always coming after my Iowa recruits, but other than that, that's neither here nor there.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: But no, yeah, he's a, he was really fun at Kansas State.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: And he may be able to get a shot.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think right now, I wish you're missing as you're down to down, battering, ram, and he doesn't bring that, the skill set wise, obviously.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: You never know.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: You never know.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: So my big thing with this game, Carl, is we start to wrap it up here and to the show.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if Denver's going to win.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not ready to make a prediction yet.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'll probably end up picking Kansas City because they're the big bad wolf.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want to, I just, did you see Jeepers Creepers ever?
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: Are you your horror film guy when they run a watch somewhere?
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: When they run over the cars, like, do you think he's dead?
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: She said they're never dead.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: And she ran over like four or five times after that.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I am with Kansas City.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like until they're cold and cold in the ground and burning and hell.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna fear them, and even then like zombies are real on and on, no, but that's uh, hopefully they're never gonna take care of it.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'll probably end up picking a cheese, but I'm not ready to do anything official.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: What I want Denver to come out of this game though, everybody's hating on them.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, Denver's a good team.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they're a bad team.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: I see people saying Denver's not a good team.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like they're top 10, top 6.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe even higher if the offense starts playing better or penalties or special teams improve could be any of those.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be happy But with the defense that can hang with anybody the offensive line that can hang with anybody But everybody's just digging on them.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Patrick will home still the golden boy the chiefs even though they're what they're five and four and number one Superbowl odds Everybody wants Denver to be the villain.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: I say screw it be the villain.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to beat
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: the absolute hell out of patch of my homes in this game.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to leave it in the Super Bowl.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Telling the teammates I'm going to get a personal foul on the first one.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody, I'm not saying bounty gate, but everybody like the media hates Sean Payton.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: The NFL doesn't like the Broncos.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: People will do an crap out on them.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: Every chance they can get, I am what you made me.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: Go out there and embrace the villain, and I want them to, absolutely, physically harm.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: within the legality of the game, but like it's football, I want them to be the bully, be the villain, and if you can do that and you play tough for quarters, you've got a chance, but I want the chiefs to be hanging, like just bruised and battered if they win this game.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: I want them to feel like it's a loss even if they get the dub.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think one thing that I hold on to for this game of why the Broncos stand a really good chance.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: is one of the few defensive coordinators that has had success against Mahomes and Reed, is Vance Joseph.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: The last three games, they've held them to 19 points, 16 points, and nine points.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_02]: And that's with Mahomes playing.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's not including the last game of the season last year where they're playing all their backups.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's Mahomes' lead teams.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: Now some of that is,
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos' offense was not great, so they were being a little bit more conservative of, hey, let's not turn the ball over.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: If we get to 19 points, we're probably winning the game, kind of thing for the chiefs.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I saw a key, I saw a key, extension of a drier, I had three sacks from Benito or three touchdowns from Bonix, three touchdowns.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: What do you want points, are you camey?
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like that, yeah, that might be enough.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you go score 21 points, you might be winning this game.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I saw a comment earlier, I said something out like that as well as like, what's the cut off?
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: where the Broncos needs, what's the point, the Broncos needs to get to?
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I'd say you've absolutely got to get to 20.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: Probably, 24, and I think you've got a really good chance.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_02]: Chiefs are, I don't know, offensively, that there are tough teams to sometimes figure out, because you're right, they do have a lot of firepower.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: But sometimes they're off in supply and it's not always great.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes, my homes gets a little bit too excited.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes they're not the best at catching the ball and you can actually get them to get a tip pass from Travis Kelsey, where he's trying to do a little too much on the field.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_02]: And you've got to be disciplined.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: You can't get too excited.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to keep your lanes, especially against Patrick my homes, not giving him an opportunity to get out of the pocket and extend a play.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, you've got to put in a few hits.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_02]: Ashman Holmes is probably the most frustrating quarterback in the NFL for me because he does that stupid crap where he's like getting ready to run out of bounds.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: And then all of a sudden, nope, I'm going to cut it up field because the defender slowed down.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: Or when he trucked that guy that was slowing down, so that he didn't hit him hard.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, dude, that's some bush leak.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's tackle through this area this week.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and there's a play not I think there's a couple games go where with the chiefs and the homes took a huge hit on the sideline.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_02]: And there were chiefs fans crying and oh, I can't believe somebody hit in that hard and I'm like, what do you deserve?
- 53:31[SPEAKER_02]: If you're going to keep trying to extend plays that way, like you got to do that to them and you're right, put put a little bit of fear into them and and make him had a question a little bit who's come and how quickly are they
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: is Bonito bending around the edge and I'm going to be hitting two seconds.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you got to do.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, we're the love of God, we're going to strip fumble.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_02]: Please, I love that in this game.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: To just, I was just about to say Carlos, we wrap up.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_01]: What does Denver need in this game to win?
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: I have the odds are against, especially if JK Dopvin's is very, very likely out.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have your best player on defense.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: We need to take a way to start happening.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say this every fricking week until it does.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: We had one last week.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_01]: Can we get a three turnover game or a plus, let's even better plus three.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I'll give me three turnovers in this game.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_01]: Denver, so far this season, has per drive.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: The second lowest takeaway rate in the entire NFL.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's a great defense.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can go mess with running backs, no matter website.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_01]: Denver's got one of the top five defense.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think three, number three and EPA per play this season.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: They explode.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: to number one when you take away the turnover filter on that because turnovers aren't as predictive for future results.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to see what like what's happened, but they're hard to guarantee going forward.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: So you're hoping for some positive regression there and for the the per drive stats so far this season.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_01]: Denver has the second worst turnovers per drive rate in the entire NFL at 0.06.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: The only team that's worse is the Jets.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: So they're tied with Washington and New York, but actually when you go by decimals, it's even worse for the down.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: So let's get some frickin' takeaways.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just open up that floodgate and you do that.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Broncos 2015 defense show that even if you have little corpse playing quarterback, you can win some freaking big football games.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_01]: So that's, I mean, again, if your game plan is we have to win the charm of a battle by plus three or probably cooked, but it'd be good if we could have one of those, because it's been a bit since we had the floodgates open like that.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll take plus one, 10 feel much better about this game.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: Gosh, it's gonna be a tough one.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't, we don't hear from you again until the game Carl, do you have a prediction for the game?
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna continue to trust that this offense is gonna get some things figured out.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 55:52[SPEAKER_02]: I know a lot of people down on Botanix.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still a believer.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_02]: I even bought some of his cards, got into some options and bought some autograph cards of Botanix because I do.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's gonna get things turned around.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this is everybody in that building recognizes how big of a game this is.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_02]: I do think that they may be forced a couple turnovers.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: Special teams just don't be a negative.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_02]: And if you can do that, I think we got we got a really good chance to win this one.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna say Broncos 24, Chief 17 in this one.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think they are gonna get rattle in the homes.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're gonna force a couple bad plays and this defense is just gonna be ready to go.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like they've been here in all week about how great these chiefs are on offense.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're ready to go show the world.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_02]: Don't forget about us.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the part,
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: last week against the Raiders, everybody, oh man, that was a horrible game.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_02]: Not for the defense, defense, I'm sure, sitting there going, hey, did you guys forget what we did?
- 56:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like we had a great game.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I know that everybody cares about the opments, but I really do think this is a statement game for the defense, and they'll go out there and live up to live.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say that's a pretty high scoring game, considering what we've seen from this
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to say 24 because I think I do think this is going to be a good game for our J. Harvey.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Chiefs are kind of a middle of the pack run defense.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_02]: They're not great, not bad.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_02]: And I think there's a chance you give him enough carries.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have a couple big runs for you in this one.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_02]: Plus then the receiving ability, I think he's going to be able to make a player two in the receiving game as well.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm hoping really, really hoping that this
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: have a big game kind of day.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's not had one yet.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: He and Bonix are not on the same page, but I think this might be that week.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: Man, that's, I hope so, man.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're going to get on out of here.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: I got to get the kid down.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate everyone coming in today being civil in the chat.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to, hopefully, if I don't have more about Jika Dobbins injury soon.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully, it doesn't go on IR.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's been your most consistent offensive skill position player by like a lot of this season.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: So it can have to figure something out if he's going to be missing extended time.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, gosh, it's possible.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: knock on wood the the foot sprain with kind of Murray right like he was like oh yeah maybe back two weeks not not healing it's like almost like a week by week thing and then they put him on IR so like it's possible we don't see him into the fricking playoffs I mean that's that's true so we'll see um we'll know more week by week and we'll know even more tomorrow if he's on IR and out of that point I shout out to Alex Singleton
- 58:43[SPEAKER_01]: And his family and shout out to his wife and the Broncos organization and the doctors and make sure you guys are doing all your proper cancer screenings he's younger than you and I Carl and because of the random drug test he they're able to find it out so make sure you're taking care of yourself you can do everything right and you know cancer does not care.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so Lord knows, I don't do everything right.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: So, but you better look out.

- 59:47[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's going to be a fun week, hopefully.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully we're all very happy on Monday and see this team, like I said, right there at the top, making teams really are making the rest of the league take notice of this is a real team that is here to stay.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just like I said, cleaning up some of that stuff, not beating yourself in this game.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_02]: They can do that.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think they stay at a really good chance to win in this one.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
