Be thankful for Texas/Ohio State this year because beyond that---the non-conference slate has hit ‘rock bottom’ in the Big 10

-The World Herald’s Sam McKewon did a great dive into the B1G’s 54 non-conference games this year, and it’s not pretty as we exist in

a world where it’s all about making the playoffs and pushing toward the least amount of losses prior to conference play as possible

-McKewon points out that there are just 14 games against Power 4 competition of the 54 non-con games of the league---Nebraska,

Indiana, Penn State, USC and Washington have zero---28 games vs. Group of 6 teams, and 12 games vs. the FCS. We’ll see you all in late

September/early October for conference play….
