- 0:02Speaker 1: Well, I'm mad at you. You made me watch CNN
- 0:04Speaker 1: last night. I know. You doubled the ratings. And then, yeah,
- 0:08Speaker 1: I tripled their numbers. But then, but first of all,
- 0:12Speaker 1: I got a little annoyed because their coverage was actually,
- 0:16Speaker 1: because I watched for about 10 minutes before your hit
- 0:19Speaker 1: with Anderson Cooper. Yeah. And they seemed to like you.
- 0:22Speaker 1: You did a great job. I was cheering for you,
- 0:25Speaker 1: as usual. You were masterful. The way you snuck in
- 0:28Speaker 1: to Paul Begala. The old, oh, really, you're going to
- 0:32Speaker 1: be the one judging Ken Paxton and his personal challenges
- 0:37Speaker 1: with the guy you worked for? And, you know, picture this.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I've got like an 85-inch TV set. Yes. And I moved,
- 0:45Speaker 1: so I'm in a smaller living room. So I feel
- 0:47Speaker 1: like I'm living inside the TV set. So you're like
- 0:49Speaker 1: the sphere. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm watching the sphere. I'm
- 0:52Speaker 1: watching the eagles at the sphere in my living room.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So I'm watching your big fat face on the right
- 0:57Speaker 1: side of the screen. and Paul Begala's big fat face
- 1:00Speaker 1: on the left side of the screen. When you did that,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and you did it, first of all, spoiler alert, preview, tease,
- 1:08Speaker 1: we're playing the whole appearance of Mark Davis making your debut.
- 1:13Speaker 1: on Anderson Cooper Tonight on CNN, on the podcast today
- 1:17Speaker 1: at M & M Extra. So noon Eastern, 11 Central.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Tune in. We're going to play every glorious word of
- 1:23Speaker 1: it because you were masterful. You were like a surgeon.
- 1:26Speaker 1: You were in there, and you just sliced and diced.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And here's the moment when you get the little thing,
- 1:32Speaker 1: the jab in, you did it so subtly about, oh, really?
- 1:36Speaker 1: You want to go there and talk about personal behavior
- 1:40Speaker 1: considering what they said about Bill Clinton? But you said
- 1:42Speaker 1: it in a gracious way because your point was it's
- 1:46Speaker 1: more important how a person governs than it is the
- 1:50Speaker 1: way they have personal challenges in their lives or personal
- 1:55Speaker 1: shortcomings or failings, whatever you want to call it. And
- 1:58Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you, 85 inches, Paul Begala, he
- 2:02Speaker 1: clenched up. I could see he got a look of
- 2:05Speaker 1: constipation on his face that was so funny because what's
- 2:10Speaker 1: he going to say? I mean, you made a brilliant point.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I mean, Ken Paxton's own, is it his ex-wife endorsing him?
- 2:19Speaker 2: I mean, it's kind of she doesn't get it and say, hey,
- 2:22Speaker 2: vote for Ken. But she did have a specific message
- 2:24Speaker 2: at a Republican club and then in an ad that said,
- 2:27Speaker 2: you know what? There's an elephant in the room. People
- 2:30Speaker 2: are wondering if I have an opinion about things. Well,
- 2:32Speaker 2: it turns out that I do. And I believe that
- 2:34Speaker 2: everybody should vote for every Republican because it's not always
- 2:37Speaker 2: about obsessing about the members of the team, but getting
- 2:40Speaker 2: the team to victory. And I thought that was incredibly gracious.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Led me to say Angela can get over it. Maybe
- 2:46Speaker 2: some other people should, too.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That's the point. And when you made that point to
- 2:50Speaker 1: Paul Begala and even Anderson Cooper, he was like, oh,
- 2:53Speaker 1: he got a good game. And they let you end
- 2:56Speaker 1: the whole segment with a great exclamation point point. It
- 2:59Speaker 1: was like it was perfect for you. I don't know
- 3:01Speaker 1: why you get so lucky with these appearances. I don't
- 3:04Speaker 1: get it. I've never had that kind of luck. I've
- 3:05Speaker 1: done those things for 20 years. I don't know what
- 3:07Speaker 1: you waltz in there. There you are in your study,
- 3:10Speaker 1: in your house. You didn't have to go in with
- 3:12Speaker 1: your bum knee. You didn't even have to go to
- 3:14Speaker 1: the TV studio.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Well, it's funny because my favorite thing is for them
- 3:17Speaker 2: to bring the van to the house. But dead serious,
- 3:20Speaker 2: I wondered how I was going to climb into the van,
- 3:22Speaker 2: you know, with crutches.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I know. Are you in a lot of pain?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Today is substantially better. I had an MRI yesterday afternoon.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Those results will go to my orthopedist.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I just had a knee just collapse. It went from
- 3:35Speaker 2: arthritis to something way different. We'll see what's going on.
- 3:38Speaker 2: When's the last time you had an MRI? Actual, full-scale,
- 3:42Speaker 2: big-daddy MRI.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Right. Well, I had the CT scan that slid me
- 3:47Speaker 1: into the tube that was kind of partial a tube
- 3:49Speaker 1: for the heart stuff. But the full MRI, MRI, I
- 3:52Speaker 1: guess it's been about a, I don't know, a year
- 3:54Speaker 1: or two. I don't remember.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I think it's been a really long time since I have.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I mean, I'm in Viascan all the time, which is
- 3:59Speaker 2: not really a full MRI. It's just a different thing
- 4:01Speaker 2: for looking at your innards and doing the things, the
- 4:03Speaker 2: wonderful things that Viascan does. When it's time for the full,
- 4:06Speaker 2: you know, the full whole enchilada MRI, I went in
- 4:09Speaker 2: there and they gave me headphones and And said, well,
- 4:12Speaker 2: what kind of music do you like? I said, well,
- 4:13Speaker 2: I like everything. But for this to chill out, how
- 4:17Speaker 2: about some classical? And they said, okay, you're going to
- 4:19Speaker 2: be in there for about 10 minutes. And it is
- 4:22Speaker 2: a tight tube, but it was by me, so I
- 4:24Speaker 2: wasn't all the way in there like the innards of
- 4:27Speaker 2: a burrito. So it wasn't as claustrophobic as it might
- 4:30Speaker 2: otherwise have been. But it really must have been loud
- 4:32Speaker 2: because the nice classical music started. Da-da-da-da-da-dee. Ba-da-da-ba-ba-ba-da-dee. And then boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I mean, that thing started like it was a construction
- 4:43Speaker 2: crew in the room with me.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Oh, it scares me.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And when I got out, and I forget because you
- 4:46Speaker 2: forget what an MRI is. It's a massive Mondo Uber magnet.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And I got up, and when I got up, they
- 4:53Speaker 2: had made me put the crutches on the far wall,
- 4:56Speaker 2: and I kind of hobbled over to get on the
- 4:58Speaker 2: MRI platform. And when I rose up, I said, can
- 5:03Speaker 2: you hand me the crutches over there?
- 5:04Speaker 1: They went, nope.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Because they're made of metal, and they might have sucked
- 5:08Speaker 2: into the MRI. I said, is this real?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Do I just watch too much TV? Have you seen
- 5:14Speaker 1: those videos on social media of people getting sucked into
- 5:16Speaker 1: the MRI and they got metal on? I think it's AI.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Total AI, isn't it? By the way.
- 5:21Speaker 2: There was one of the movies, one of the Final
- 5:22Speaker 2: Destination movies, where people die in violent, horrible ways.
- 5:26Speaker 1: They're in there, yeah.
- 5:26Speaker 2: One very unfortunate guy wrapped in metal and with a
- 5:30Speaker 2: piercing in a particular place.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Wanders too close to an MRI. Oh, dear. What? And
- 5:36Speaker 1: so it's very, very vivid. That apparently might not be
- 5:39Speaker 1: too far from true. I've got an AI update for you.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm utilizing AI more and more every single day in
- 5:46Speaker 1: my life. And I just talked to the team about
- 5:48Speaker 1: maybe using more AI tools for our show. To thus
- 5:52Speaker 1: eliminate their jobs. No, no. Well, they make their jobs easier.
- 5:58Speaker 1: We've got a process in the morning where I pick
- 6:00Speaker 1: topics in the morning and I shoot a bunch of
- 6:03Speaker 1: stories to Tracy, my producer, and then she has to
- 6:06Speaker 1: put them into a different format and print them out
- 6:08Speaker 1: to me. So I have them on my desk when
- 6:10Speaker 1: I come in and start the show every day at 10.05. Well,
- 6:14Speaker 1: there's an AI program for that. She doesn't have to
- 6:17Speaker 1: do it. She's in here printing for an hour, hour
- 6:19Speaker 1: and a half. It takes up the majority of her morning.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Last night, I'm getting ready for our election coverage, which
- 6:25Speaker 1: will feature CNN star Mark Davis as a guest. Tuesday night,
- 6:30Speaker 1: we're going to be holding down the fort. I'm anchoring
- 6:32Speaker 1: from 8 to 10 Central. I'll be a guest with
- 6:35Speaker 1: Larry Elder, 7 to 8. I'm also going to be
- 6:37Speaker 1: on Town Hall. We're going to be all out. Town Hall,
- 6:39Speaker 1: Salem News Channel, Salem Radio Network, Salem Media.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Proud of you.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah, big, big night Tuesday. It's going to be a
- 6:45Speaker 1: Super Bowl night, and we'll see how it all goes.
- 6:47Speaker 1: But I realize I want, in real time, an app
- 6:52Speaker 1: or I want a device. I want some environment that
- 6:56Speaker 1: gives me— these important election results in real time in
- 7:00Speaker 1: front of me on the computer. Well, I get this
- 7:03Speaker 1: notification last night through X from Grok, the Grok bot. Hi, Mike.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm the Grok bot personal assistant. I'm your personal assistant.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Give me a try. I can do things for you. Well,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I said, okay. I'll tell you what. I signed up.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I linked my X account. I said, here's what I want.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm going to host election coverage Tuesday night. I want
- 7:26Speaker 1: a platform that gives me every mark in two minutes.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It found three different choices. It found the best one
- 7:35Speaker 1: was $ 15, which I happily paid, which, by the way,
- 7:37Speaker 1: it paid for me because it's now linked. Oh, shoot.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I know. I know. I give that thing access to
- 7:44Speaker 1: my bank. I know. You're braver than me. Well, what
- 7:47Speaker 1: it did was it has access to Stripe. which is
- 7:52Speaker 1: like an online payment portal that I do have an
- 7:55Speaker 1: account with. And it's got all supposedly protections built in,
- 7:58Speaker 1: but who knows? Look, when it all turns on is
- 8:00Speaker 1: it's over anyway. And it found me this perfect. And
- 8:04Speaker 1: now I've got my laptop all loaded up. And Tuesday night,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I've got house races, Senate races, gubernatorial races.
- 8:10Speaker 2: So what is the thing? What is the thing that
- 8:12Speaker 2: costs $ 15? What is or what was that? What is it?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Decision Desk Headquarters, DDHQ. Okay. And incidentally, anybody can get
- 8:22Speaker 1: it if you want to see it. It's $ 15 because
- 8:24Speaker 1: it's normally $ 30 and they give you a 50% discount
- 8:27Speaker 1: to start it.
- 8:28Speaker 2: And what is so– and pardon me for obsessing. What
- 8:31Speaker 2: is it that's so root and tootin' about that? Because
- 8:34Speaker 2: I could do the same thing, but it would take
- 8:35Speaker 2: me time. We'd go to 14 websites. It just consolidates
- 8:38Speaker 2: it and puts it right here.
- 8:39Speaker 1: This puts it on a dashboard, and it displayed it
- 8:42Speaker 1: in the way I want it displayed, and it's going
- 8:45Speaker 1: to be in real time. So Tuesday night, I'll have
- 8:47Speaker 1: my laptop in front of me here in our studios,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and I'll be able to see this. And you're right.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I mean, we would have found it eventually.
- 8:53Speaker 2: No, but it's time-consuming, and you've got to go through
- 8:55Speaker 2: a lot of things that aren't of any value to you.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It finds the best ones. Now, while your AI takes
- 8:59Speaker 2: your money, you know what mine's trying to do for me?
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's trying to take Rhonda's job, which I won't let
- 9:05Speaker 1: it do.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I have an email address, but here's how it plugs
- 9:09Speaker 2: into what she will do as the human being who
- 9:12Speaker 2: will forever be attached to me in this professional world.
- 9:15Speaker 2: It takes all the junk email, and I get more
- 9:18Speaker 2: junk and crap and garbage email than you can possibly imagine,
- 9:21Speaker 2: but it goes and finds the things that might be
- 9:23Speaker 2: pretty okay guest pitches and And it sends them to
- 9:26Speaker 2: me and says, hey, this looks like something you might do.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And it kind of sometimes is. But then it volunteers
- 9:33Speaker 2: to write an email asking for the booking.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Nope, nope, nope, nope.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I have a human being who does that. That will
- 9:40Speaker 2: always be her. Or in some instance where I'm just
- 9:43Speaker 2: sitting right there and want to do it on the fly,
- 9:44Speaker 2: it'll always be me. I'm never going to have— this is Muse,
- 9:47Speaker 2: the Facebook.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm totally fine. I'm totally fine with Muse sending an
- 9:52Speaker 1: email to a potential guest. I don't trust it. Tracy's
- 9:55Speaker 1: a bad speller. She doesn't like to write that stuff.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I don't trust it. This will be— I trust it. it.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I trust it. Trust in AI. Trust in our tech overlords.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Our robot overlords. And always thank them. Always thank them
- 10:10Speaker 2: after they do what they do. That's how stupid it is,
- 10:13Speaker 2: how I am. I get in there and say, thank
- 10:15Speaker 2: you so much. I thank Alexa in my stupid house.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Idiotic. I'm like... I hope I'm not annoying you with
- 10:21Speaker 1: asking you too many questions. I'm talking to an inanimate.
- 10:24Speaker 1: You have other things to do. Oh, my Lord. I
- 10:26Speaker 1: know you're busy. Well, the Grok bot says, I'll store
- 10:30Speaker 1: that on my computer. I'm thinking, oh, that's kind of
- 10:32Speaker 1: nice of you to store it on your computer. And
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm thinking, oh, there's a person there with a computer.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I'm losing my marbles. And I'm so grateful.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I said, well, thank you, bot. Do you want a raise?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Do you want a Christmas bonus now that you're my
- 10:46Speaker 1: new assistant? Let's talk quickly, Alaska. I'm so fascinated by it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You want to talk about the bombshell of bombshells, the
- 10:53Speaker 1: mother of all bombshells. From the New York Times, the
- 10:56Speaker 1: New York Times. That's the bombshell. That's the bombshell. That's
- 11:01Speaker 1: the bombshell that the New York— you know, we always go
- 11:04Speaker 1: after the leftist mainstream media. But, Mark, if the New
- 11:08Speaker 1: York Times is willing to— first of all, that's how bad
- 11:10Speaker 1: it is. But second of all, the Times didn't have
- 11:12Speaker 1: to run with this. Nope. And good for them. Good
- 11:15Speaker 1: for them. They probably doomed her candidacy. They probably put
- 11:19Speaker 1: an end to it now because of the shenanigans. The
- 11:21Speaker 1: extra dance seconds on what it is.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Democrat Mary Peltola is running against incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan.
- 11:28Speaker 2: There's another guy named Dan Sullivan on that stupid ranked
- 11:31Speaker 2: choice voting ballot, which will confuse people and might might
- 11:34Speaker 2: sort of dilute. the number of votes that the real
- 11:37Speaker 2: Dan Sullivan gets. And so that looked like mischief. Now
- 11:40Speaker 2: it appears that it was Democrat mischief from her campaign
- 11:44Speaker 2: that went and found the guy to put on the ballot.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And according to the New York Times, the campaign, the candidate, her,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and the party knew full well what they were doing.
- 11:53Speaker 1: They went out and canvassing for any other Dan Sullivans
- 11:57Speaker 1: they could find, and they paid the $ 10, 000 fee it
- 12:00Speaker 1: cost to get on the ballot. It's cheating. They don't
- 12:04Speaker 1: win unless they cheat. And Victor Davis Hanson, when I
- 12:07Speaker 1: was watching the brilliance of Mark Davis, then I flipped
- 12:10Speaker 1: over and watched the brilliance of Victor Davis Hanson, who
- 12:12Speaker 1: pointed out on Fox, they wouldn't have to pull stunts
- 12:15Speaker 1: like this. If their message was popular with the American people.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Of course. They're resorting to these kinds of high school antics,
- 12:24Speaker 1: proving how little confidence they have in their agenda.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Ta-da.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Mr. Davis, there it is. All right. If you missed
- 12:30Speaker 1: Mark last night on CNN, Eminem Extra, today, noon Eastern,
- 12:34Speaker 1: 11 Central, on YouTube, Apple, Spotify, please like, subscribe. And
- 12:38Speaker 1: by the way, I think we're like 200 people away
- 12:41Speaker 1: from getting to 5,000 subscribers on YouTube. Let's do this now.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Come on, let's do it today. Right now. Come on.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Go to YouTube, M & M Extra. Click it, like it,
- 12:50Speaker 2: subscribe to it. Let's make it 5K day, at least
- 12:53Speaker 2: today or before the week is over.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Let's do it today. I have faith in your audience.
- 12:57Speaker 1: If they love what you do and love what I
- 12:58Speaker 1: do and they appreciate you playing lame with your bum knee,
- 13:02Speaker 1: come on. Do it for Mark. Do it for the Gipper.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Go to YouTube. Do it for the Gipper. M &

- 13:10Speaker 1: 200 people away from getting to 5,000 subscribers. It's going

- 13:16Speaker 1: see you there.
