- 0:03Speaker 1: Good morning, Good morning family, God, welcome back to the
- 0:05Speaker 1: Morning DeVos. You Bro Sam Lopez aka DJ Sam Rock,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and you're watching or listening to the Morning Devo Mondays
- 0:12Speaker 1: through Fridays five thirty am Eastern Standard Time right here
- 0:16Speaker 1: at so winners with the z DO RG and we're
- 0:19Speaker 1: back for another episode, another get together, another session. Hey man.
- 0:26Speaker 1: One of the devotions, Man, I think they're powerful because
- 0:28Speaker 1: it sets off the day. If this is your first
- 0:31Speaker 1: time of the day, if you're just getting up or
- 0:33Speaker 1: you're just starting your day and you're devoting time to
- 0:36Speaker 1: the Lord and his word in prayer with thanksgiving. Oh man,
- 0:40Speaker 1: you all for a great start. The day has its
- 0:43Speaker 1: own plans, right, God knows what's gonna happen today. God
- 0:46Speaker 1: knows what's gonna happen tomorrow. God already saw what happened yesterday.
- 0:50Speaker 1: But listen, every single situation that we face in life
- 0:53Speaker 1: as a born again believer, we should be thankful. So
- 0:56Speaker 1: God reminded me of that yesterday. So I said, you know,
- 1:00Speaker 1: let's talk about it. And I'm calling this one thankful
- 1:04Speaker 1: thankfulness thankfulness today in the Morning Devo. Being thankful is
- 1:09Speaker 1: a natural response to the grace and love we have
- 1:13Speaker 1: received through Jesus Christ. Amen. It's a natural response for
- 1:20Speaker 1: a supernatural thing that happens in our lives and our
- 1:23Speaker 1: hearts and our minds when we get lined up with
- 1:26Speaker 1: the Word of God over our lives and in our
- 1:28Speaker 1: lives and working through our lives. Amen. So we know
- 1:31Speaker 1: what happens when we are ungrateful. When we're ungrateful, we
- 1:36Speaker 1: become angry, bitter. Right, sometimes our attitude gets a little
- 1:40Speaker 1: changed up. But when we walk around being thankful and
- 1:44Speaker 1: being grateful for what God has done, your whole attitude shifts,
- 1:49Speaker 1: your mind shifts, right, you start speaking differently, you're more
- 1:53Speaker 1: you have the more pepsious step, you're active in what
- 1:57Speaker 1: God wants you to do, and your loving and your
- 1:59Speaker 1: kind and you're gracious. Being thankful is a natural response
- 2:03Speaker 1: to the grace and love we have received through Jesus Christ.
- 2:07Speaker 1: We're gonna be a first Desalonians, chapter number five, verse
- 2:10Speaker 1: number eighteen. First Thessalonians, chapter number five, verse number eighteen.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Today on the morning Devo, if you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 2:19Speaker 1: or any prayer requests, don't hesitate to leave it on
- 2:21Speaker 1: a live chat. That's what we're here for. Since Joeyne,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I see you, good morning, God, bless you. Welcome back
- 2:25Speaker 1: to the Morning Devo with my system and my friend.
- 2:27Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Let's pray first. After we pray,
- 2:30Speaker 1: we'll share this out for like sixty seconds. You can
- 2:32Speaker 1: share this out anytime during the Morning Devo, even if
- 2:35Speaker 1: I'm not live. You can share it out if you
- 2:37Speaker 1: feel in your heart that somebody else could benefit or
- 2:40Speaker 1: be blessed by these Morning DeVos. We also live on
- 2:45Speaker 1: Live that's so win Is with az Do org Amen,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and we're streaming on other social media platforms that allow
- 2:50Speaker 1: the streams to go because now since X charges, now
- 2:54Speaker 1: you have to have a subscription to stream on X.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I think others will follow suit if it works. I
- 3:00Speaker 1: don't think it works though. I don't think it's working,
- 3:03Speaker 1: hey man, So let's go for it, brother Ricky, I
- 3:05Speaker 1: see you, Good morning, God, bless you. Thank God for
- 3:07Speaker 1: another day. Yes, thank God for another day. And that's
- 3:10Speaker 1: part of being thankful for what we have today. So Father,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I thank you first and foremost for life. Thank you,
- 3:17Speaker 1: Lord God for every single breath that you allow us
- 3:19Speaker 1: to take. Our pray, Lord God, that you continue to
- 3:22Speaker 1: shine your light upon all darkness and everywhere in this
- 3:26Speaker 1: earth on people who are walking in darkness, that you
- 3:30Speaker 1: would take them out of that darkness and bring them
- 3:32Speaker 1: into your marvelous light, like your word says. And we
- 3:35Speaker 1: thank you so much for your grace, your mercy, your love.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I thank you, Lord Gods for your salvation, for your
- 3:41Speaker 1: holy spirit that lives within every single son and daughter
- 3:45Speaker 1: of a living King. Thank you, Lord God that we
- 3:47Speaker 1: are walking around with gratitude as our attitude. Thank you,
- 3:51Speaker 1: Lord God. We're so thankful for what you can see
- 3:55Speaker 1: to do our lives and our hearts, and our minds
- 3:57Speaker 1: and our families, with our finances, with our health. Thank
- 4:01Speaker 1: you for touching our bodies and giving us strength to
- 4:03Speaker 1: our bones, health to our bodies, eyes to see, ears,
- 4:06Speaker 1: to listen in a mouthpiece, to speak your word over
- 4:10Speaker 1: our situation daily and over other situation. As we pray
- 4:14Speaker 1: for one another, knowing that you hear these prayers and
- 4:17Speaker 1: you answer them according to every single situation, for every
- 4:20Speaker 1: single person on this whole planet Earth. You hear the
- 4:23Speaker 1: cries of your people. Love God. Thank you, Lo God
- 4:26Speaker 1: for being thankful for being able to see your glory,
- 4:31Speaker 1: your majesty, your love, your kindness, your favor. Thank you,
- 4:35Speaker 1: Lord God for shining brightly in this world so that
- 4:39Speaker 1: way all could see that you are a blazing lights
- 4:42Speaker 1: and you are the life giver of all things that
- 4:45Speaker 1: are good. So thank you, Lord God that you are
- 4:47Speaker 1: with us, in us and working through us. And I
- 4:50Speaker 1: pray peace be still over every single one of my
- 4:52Speaker 1: family members, myself, my wife, our children, every single one
- 4:55Speaker 1: on my side of the family and my wife's side,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and everybody representing their family as well. I plead the
- 5:01Speaker 1: blood of Jesus. I thank you for the blood that
- 5:04Speaker 1: covers all the sin and cleanses us from all on
- 5:07Speaker 1: righteousness and wickedness. As weak of welcome victory today, starting
- 5:10Speaker 1: right now, that we're walking victory, knowing that you are
- 5:13Speaker 1: able to do exactly what your word says, your word
- 5:16Speaker 1: will do in our minds and our hearts and our lives.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And Jesus' name, your holy name, my pray it is
- 5:21Speaker 1: by faith, Amen and amen. So let's go forward. Let's
- 5:24Speaker 1: shed it south for like sixty seconds. When we come back,
- 5:27Speaker 1: we'll get right into thankfulness. First. Thessalonians, chapter number five,
- 5:31Speaker 1: verse number eighteen. I'll be right back, man. Amen, We're
- 7:08Speaker 1: getting closer to the season of Thanksgiving. Right, we're in
- 7:12Speaker 1: the time from the time of this recording, we're getting
- 7:14Speaker 1: closer to what we call Thanksgiving, and we celebrate being thankful. Right.
- 7:20Speaker 1: We celebrate with family, friends, coworkers, members of our church,
- 7:25Speaker 1: people that need help. We go and feed the homeless,
- 7:29Speaker 1: and those who are in need we try to feed
- 7:33Speaker 1: them as well during this Thanksgiving Day. Somebody got the idea, right,
- 7:38Speaker 1: somebody got it that being thankful is worth celebrating. Right,
- 7:43Speaker 1: So we have a day of Thanksgiving here in the
- 7:45Speaker 1: United States. I know it's not everywhere in the world
- 7:48Speaker 1: from where I'm broadcasting, we celebrate. We call it Thanksgiving,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and I believe that's a great time to start getting motivated,
- 7:56Speaker 1: right to do things for others and not just to
- 7:59Speaker 1: do things always with your mind, with your own needs
- 8:05Speaker 1: in mind. That's just say we should be able to
- 8:08Speaker 1: give to others. It doesn't have to be if you
- 8:10Speaker 1: don't have money. Doesn't have to be money. It could
- 8:12Speaker 1: be time. It could be a listening ear, it could
- 8:14Speaker 1: be a hug, it could be a smile. Amen. When
- 8:17Speaker 1: we're walking around and thanksgiving, the enemy can't get us
- 8:20Speaker 1: into an attitude, can't get us to be frustrated. Can't
- 8:23Speaker 1: get us to be angry. You can't get us to
- 8:25Speaker 1: be thinking about our lack if we do have lack. Right.
- 8:29Speaker 1: But when you're walking around being thankful, you're activating the
- 8:32Speaker 1: power God in you, and you're walking with an attitude
- 8:35Speaker 1: and gratitude. And that's so so much needed in ours
- 8:38Speaker 1: taking around being grateful for what we have right now.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I know I could use a lot more things, amen,
- 8:46Speaker 1: But what I have now I'm so thankful for and
- 8:48Speaker 1: grateful for. But for this ministry, disministry needs some things, amen.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But I'm counting on God. I'm counting on God's people
- 8:55Speaker 1: and kind of on God to move in the ministry
- 8:59Speaker 1: so that way, everything he said that was going to
- 9:01Speaker 1: happen in this ministry and in your life and in
- 9:04Speaker 1: my life is going to come to pass. So I'm
- 9:06Speaker 1: thankful now for what God has done for me right now?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Hey man, what about you? So let's get into it.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I want to see the scripture. I want to read
- 9:14Speaker 1: it because I know it's an encouraging scripture for everybody
- 9:18Speaker 1: who intends to walk around in this way in thanksgiving, right,
- 9:22Speaker 1: being thankful, thankfulness today in the morning, devo let me
- 9:26Speaker 1: go on over here and first Thatsalonius, chapter five, verse
- 9:30Speaker 1: number eighteen. The Bible says, in every situation, no matter
- 9:35Speaker 1: what the circumstance, is very important, no matter where you
- 9:38Speaker 1: have a lot or a little, no matter where you're
- 9:41Speaker 1: healthy or you're sick, no matter if you're in a
- 9:44Speaker 1: good relationship or bad relationship, no matter if the sky's
- 9:47Speaker 1: are blue or the skuys are great, no matter if
- 9:51Speaker 1: you lost a loved one or not. In every situation,
- 9:55Speaker 1: no matter what the circumstances, be thankful and continually give
- 10:01Speaker 1: thanks to God. Why, for this is the will of
- 10:06Speaker 1: God for you in Christ Jesus. So a lot of
- 10:10Speaker 1: people ask that question, right, what's the will of God
- 10:12Speaker 1: for my life? Well, one of the wills of God
- 10:15Speaker 1: for your life and for my life is to be thankful,
- 10:18Speaker 1: continually give thanks to God, for this is the will
- 10:22Speaker 1: of God for you in Christ Jesus. And I learned
- 10:25Speaker 1: the lesson a long time ago. God sent a brother
- 10:29Speaker 1: in Christ to a hospital when I was frustrated. I
- 10:32Speaker 1: was losing one of our daughters, and I was telling
- 10:35Speaker 1: God pretty much off and saying, man, I'm doing everything
- 10:38Speaker 1: that you asked me to do. I'm praying, I'm fasting,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm reading the word, I'm believing, and yet my daughter
- 10:45Speaker 1: is still passing away. Right. And I was in the
- 10:49Speaker 1: hallway saying that. I think I was saying that outloud.
- 10:52Speaker 1: That's how much of my feelings I was. And God
- 10:55Speaker 1: sent the Man of God, which is one of my
- 10:57Speaker 1: brothers in Christ, to this very day, and he confronted
- 11:01Speaker 1: me and said he didn't hear what I said. He
- 11:03Speaker 1: didn't know what I was thinking. But God gave him
- 11:06Speaker 1: the words to answer what I was saying. He says, listen,
- 11:10Speaker 1: I know you're angry, and I know things ain't happening
- 11:12Speaker 1: the way according to how you want to happen. But
- 11:16Speaker 1: be thankful for the time that God did give you
- 11:19Speaker 1: with your daughter. Amen. And that really it made sense
- 11:23Speaker 1: and it changed my perspective right then and there as
- 11:26Speaker 1: I moved forward, and I was like, wow, you know
- 11:28Speaker 1: what he was right? And God used that man to
- 11:32Speaker 1: change Come here, okay, sorry. God used that man to
- 11:38Speaker 1: change my perspective, Amen, about being thankful for what we
- 11:42Speaker 1: do have and man and not complaining about what we
- 11:44Speaker 1: don't have. That really changed my mind since the Nils,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I see you, Good morning, God, bless you. God bless everyone.
- 11:51Speaker 1: God bless you as well. So listen, be thankful for
- 11:55Speaker 1: what you have currently. Be thankful tomorrow. We don't know
- 11:58Speaker 1: what's gonna happen, so I try not to worry about tomorrow.
- 12:01Speaker 1: What about you. Tomorrow has its own troubles. I'll let
- 12:04Speaker 1: tomorrow worry about tomorrow. But today we could be thankful
- 12:07Speaker 1: for what we have right now at this moment. I
- 12:11Speaker 1: know some people brother in Christ lost his younger brother, Amen,
- 12:15Speaker 1: and we're going to pay some respects the funeral tomorrow
- 12:18Speaker 1: from the time of this recording, but I'm pretty sure
- 12:21Speaker 1: he's thankful for the time that he did have with
- 12:23Speaker 1: his brother as his brother was living. We need to
- 12:26Speaker 1: be thankful for the time we have with one another
- 12:28Speaker 1: right now. We need to be thankful for today and
- 12:32Speaker 1: that we had enough strength to get up, Thankful when
- 12:34Speaker 1: we look at our family members that are still here
- 12:36Speaker 1: with us. Thankful for those who still have parents living
- 12:39Speaker 1: here on this side of eternity. Thankful for the good times,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and thankful for the bad times, because if it wasn't
- 12:45Speaker 1: for the bad times, we want to know how to
- 12:47Speaker 1: compare it to a good time. Amen. But the Frank,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I see you, good morning, saying, bless you and your family. Yes,
- 12:53Speaker 1: be thankful, and always keep it real with Lord Jesus. Yes, amen,
- 12:58Speaker 1: always keep it real with the Lord. He keeps in
- 13:00Speaker 1: here with us. We can't even deny the fact that
- 13:03Speaker 1: the Lord is so gracious upon our lives. He's so forgiving,
- 13:08Speaker 1: he's so holy a man, he's so loving, He's the
- 13:12Speaker 1: savior of our lives. With out God, without Jesus, we
- 13:15Speaker 1: will and be saved, going to be born again. So
- 13:18Speaker 1: be thankful, even those who don't believe right now today
- 13:21Speaker 1: and if you're watching or listening, he said, well, I
- 13:23Speaker 1: don't believe that doesn't apply. Well, be thankful that you
- 13:26Speaker 1: got to this point where you can know that you
- 13:29Speaker 1: can get into a personal relationship with the living, loving,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and holy righteous God. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Just run to him right now. Repent. That means turn
- 13:37Speaker 1: from your wicked ways, turn from your own ways, and
- 13:40Speaker 1: turn to the ways of God. Ask Jesus to forgive you,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and he will forgive you. And be thankful for the
- 13:46Speaker 1: opportunity that you have right now that God can forgive
- 13:49Speaker 1: you if you ask him to forgive you, and then
- 13:51Speaker 1: he'll send what we call and what he calls Holy Spirit,
- 13:54Speaker 1: God to live inside of you, to remind you and
- 13:57Speaker 1: to guide you, and to guard you, and to live
- 13:59Speaker 1: a life that extraordinary that you would never have thought
- 14:02Speaker 1: in a million years that you could live a life
- 14:05Speaker 1: according to His word in your life and over your life.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I did it. I took the chance way back in
- 14:10Speaker 1: two thousand and one, and I'm still here. I'm thankful
- 14:13Speaker 1: for God's grace over my life because the way I
- 14:16Speaker 1: came to the Lord Amen was raunchy. I was drunk
- 14:19Speaker 1: and high. I was calling him outs Amen. He could
- 14:22Speaker 1: have annihilated me, he could have just got rid of
- 14:24Speaker 1: me that point. But he showed grace and mercy upon me.
- 14:27Speaker 1: He knew that I was just, you know, crying out
- 14:31Speaker 1: for help in my own way. He knew I was
- 14:34Speaker 1: just crying out for help. A lot of people need
- 14:36Speaker 1: to just cry out to God for help, and he
- 14:39Speaker 1: will help you. He will save you, He will rescue you.
- 14:42Speaker 1: He will position you in heavenly places like the Word says.
- 14:45Speaker 1: He would convert your soul, transfer you from the darkness
- 14:48Speaker 1: into his marvelous light. He would change your heart, he
- 14:50Speaker 1: would change your mind, he would change your perspective. Way
- 14:53Speaker 1: you speak. If you walk around being thankful, that enemy
- 14:57Speaker 1: gets his grips off of you. How that man? How
- 15:00Speaker 1: is that woman? How is that person still thanking God?
- 15:04Speaker 1: When I put that person through all this stuff, he
- 15:07Speaker 1: lost this and lost that, she lost this. When you're thankful,
- 15:11Speaker 1: the enemy gets confused, gives him a headache. When you
- 15:14Speaker 1: walk around being grateful, grateful for what you have, when
- 15:17Speaker 1: you walk around in the will of God, thanking God
- 15:20Speaker 1: all the time, the will of God is what is
- 15:22Speaker 1: to be thankful and thank Him all the time. Every
- 15:25Speaker 1: day a man, it's not one day that I'm not
- 15:28Speaker 1: thankful for what God has done. In every situation, no
- 15:32Speaker 1: matter what the circumstances, be thankful and continually give thanks
- 15:36Speaker 1: to God. For this is the will of God for
- 15:40Speaker 1: you in Christ Jesus. Understand that in Christ Jesus. Outside
- 15:45Speaker 1: of Christ, I don't think you can walk on this
- 15:47Speaker 1: walk in thanksgiving the way He wants us to walk.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So being thankful it's a beautiful expression of our faith
- 15:55Speaker 1: as we recognize God's goodness in our lives. Us Who's good?
- 16:01Speaker 1: God is good all the time. He's good. He's the
- 16:03Speaker 1: only one who is good. I can't compare God's goodness
- 16:06Speaker 1: with anything that this world offers, anything at all. I
- 16:10Speaker 1: can look at the beauty of His creation and be
- 16:12Speaker 1: thankful for that. But I'm not gonna look at creation
- 16:14Speaker 1: and start worshiping creation. I'm only gonna worship but creative
- 16:18Speaker 1: over creation, and not worship the created things, if that
- 16:21Speaker 1: makes any sense, right. I'm not gonna put an idol
- 16:23Speaker 1: and say, Wow, that item, that statue, that created being,
- 16:27Speaker 1: that creative thing is so beautiful that I'm gonna take
- 16:30Speaker 1: my attention off of God and put all my thanksgiving
- 16:33Speaker 1: and be grateful for that item. No, I'm not gonna
- 16:35Speaker 1: do that. I'm gonna do the will of God, which
- 16:37Speaker 1: is give God all the thanks praise on the worship
- 16:39Speaker 1: that he deserves, just because he made himself real in
- 16:43Speaker 1: my life, and he can make hisself real in your life.
- 16:46Speaker 1: He will reveal himself to those who are seeking truth
- 16:51Speaker 1: and real love, and he will reveal himself, And that's
- 16:55Speaker 1: another thing we should be thankful for. I thank God,
- 16:58Speaker 1: Sister Joint says, I thank God every morning I wake
- 17:00Speaker 1: up for another day He gives me and my family.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I thank God for when I sit down to eat
- 17:05Speaker 1: a plate of food. Also, it's been two or three years.
- 17:09Speaker 1: My daughter haven't talked to me. Now. She called me yesterday.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I asked to pray for her. She's not feeling good,
- 17:15Speaker 1: she is sick. Her name is Yolanda Modina, a man.
- 17:18Speaker 1: So we speak life over your daughter, Yolanda Medina, and
- 17:22Speaker 1: I thank you well God, that sister Johanna is with us,
- 17:25Speaker 1: a man representing for the Kingdom of God, speaking and
- 17:29Speaker 1: praying over her family. No matter what circumstance she finds
- 17:32Speaker 1: herself in, she finds a way to be thankful. And
- 17:35Speaker 1: that's the will of God for her, that's the will
- 17:37Speaker 1: of God for me. That's the will of God for
- 17:38Speaker 1: our lives. To be thankful for what we do have,
- 17:41Speaker 1: because we don't want to walk around thinking about, oh,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I don't have this, and I don't have that, and
- 17:47Speaker 1: why does that person have more than me. If you
- 17:49Speaker 1: walk around like that, you would become angry, frustrated. You
- 17:52Speaker 1: would become one of those people who walk around with
- 17:56Speaker 1: a frown, smile upside down all the time. You're not
- 18:00Speaker 1: attitude won't be good. You will be the person that
- 18:02Speaker 1: nobody really wants to be around. You don't want to
- 18:05Speaker 1: be that way. Right. Scripture encourages us to maintain a
- 18:08Speaker 1: heart of gratitude. We've read that in the First Dessalonians,
- 18:11Speaker 1: chapter five, verse number eighteen, right five and eighteen. Let
- 18:15Speaker 1: me make sure I got that, yep. And we're reminded
- 18:19Speaker 1: to give thanks in all circumstances. And when God says
- 18:22Speaker 1: all circumstances, I mean he means all circumstances, no matter
- 18:26Speaker 1: what you're going through. When you're thankful in the time
- 18:29Speaker 1: that you are stressed out, the time that things ain't
- 18:32Speaker 1: going right in your life, and you're still thankful for
- 18:34Speaker 1: what God has done your life. The enemy, I don't
- 18:36Speaker 1: think he wants any parts of you, said man. The
- 18:39Speaker 1: enemy is like, well, I did everything I could, and
- 18:41Speaker 1: this person is still being grateful. This person is still
- 18:44Speaker 1: being thankful for what the Lord has done. Amen. Today
- 18:48Speaker 1: I wake up and I'll be like, well, thank God.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I woke up by the Manuel. God. Bless you, God,
- 18:53Speaker 1: bless you. Amen. I give thanks to God for my
- 18:56Speaker 1: brother Sam. Thank you so much. I give thanks for
- 18:59Speaker 1: you as well. And you and your family and what
- 19:01Speaker 1: you're doing in the Leah Valley is amazing. God, bless you.
- 19:04Speaker 1: God has favor over your life and over your family's life.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And continue moving forward in the Kingdom of God. Amen,
- 19:10Speaker 1: thank you so much for your comment. So we're thankful.
- 19:13Speaker 1: The verse highlights that thankfulness is not just a response.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Listen to this. It's not just a response to good times,
- 19:20Speaker 1: but a constant attitude regardless of the situation when you
- 19:25Speaker 1: when you get this, Amen, And I had to live this.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I had to find this out for myself. I had
- 19:29Speaker 1: to learn this on my own, being thankful regardless for
- 19:35Speaker 1: what happens. Because God knows the purpose, he knows the plan,
- 19:39Speaker 1: he knows what's going to happen, the ripple effects. He knows. Okay,
- 19:43Speaker 1: we might be hurt now, we might be down, out
- 19:45Speaker 1: and out now, we might have lost someone that we loved.
- 19:49Speaker 1: But God is still with us. God is still in us.
- 19:51Speaker 1: God is still speaking. God is still moving through us
- 19:54Speaker 1: and in us and working all things out for good
- 19:57Speaker 1: for those who love him. And I love him. I
- 20:00Speaker 1: love him, Amen, So we could be thankful that God
- 20:03Speaker 1: is still with us all through it all. Amen, I
- 20:06Speaker 1: thank you for being here and talking with us. And
- 20:08Speaker 1: for your family, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord God.
- 20:11Speaker 1: For sister Joanne's spirit, Amen, Joanne, we will pray for
- 20:15Speaker 1: her and your family. Yes, we'll praying for you and
- 20:19Speaker 1: your family, Sister Joanne, and you know the power of prayer,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and you have sensed it, you have realized it, and
- 20:24Speaker 1: you're thankful that God is with you. And because of
- 20:27Speaker 1: your willingness to thank God and activate the will of
- 20:32Speaker 1: God in your life, God has kept you. Amen. And
- 20:35Speaker 1: He has a great plan for your life. Great prayer
- 20:38Speaker 1: for my life, great plan for Brother Frank's life, Emmanuel's life,
- 20:42Speaker 1: Ricky's life, Nils's life, and everybody that's coming on here, Amen,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and commenting, and those who don't comment, those who listen
- 20:48Speaker 1: and watch it, never say a thing. God has a
- 20:50Speaker 1: plan for you as well. Be thankful for those plans.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Be thankful for your children. Be thank you for the
- 20:56Speaker 1: time you spend with your parents. Be thankful for the
- 20:58Speaker 1: health that you had in your Be thankful for the
- 21:01Speaker 1: money in their account. Be thankful when there's no money
- 21:04Speaker 1: in the account. Be thankful when your frig is is full,
- 21:06Speaker 1: Be thankful when your fridge is empty. Listen, when you
- 21:09Speaker 1: see both sides of life. When you have a lot,
- 21:12Speaker 1: when you have a little, You learn how to start
- 21:14Speaker 1: being thankful for the things that God allows you to
- 21:16Speaker 1: have and how you move in victory even regardless of
- 21:20Speaker 1: any circumstance or any situation. Gratitude is a natural response
- 21:25Speaker 1: to the grace we have received through Jesus Christ. To
- 21:29Speaker 1: other scriptures, I'm gonna just cite the scripture. You could
- 21:32Speaker 1: go for it for yourself. Go check it out Collagions,
- 21:35Speaker 1: chapter number three, verses fifteen to seventeen, and that verse.
- 21:41Speaker 1: You're gonna be encouraged to let the peace of Christ
- 21:45Speaker 1: Jesus rule in your heart, so that way you could
- 21:49Speaker 1: be thankful letting the word of Christ, Jesus, Christ Jesus
- 21:54Speaker 1: dwell in you richly. Let them just live in you.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Let him do what he wants to do in your life,
- 22:00Speaker 1: and be thankful that He has created a space and
- 22:03Speaker 1: moment in time to help you and to help me. Amen.
- 22:07Speaker 1: How many times have I been in a situation where
- 22:10Speaker 1: I said, God, if you don't show up, I'm done. God.
- 22:13Speaker 1: If you don't show up, they're gonna take my car.
- 22:17Speaker 1: They canna repoet God if you don't show up, and
- 22:19Speaker 1: I do my part and God does the rest. Amen.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I do my part. I go and I do something
- 22:27Speaker 1: to create some income. Amen, I'm independent. I've been independent
- 22:31Speaker 1: for almost six years now. Seven years, and there is
- 22:34Speaker 1: no payday unless I create the payday. Amen. I was
- 22:38Speaker 1: fortunate and thankful that I had the opportunity to help
- 22:41Speaker 1: an organization that paid me weekly. Amen. But I was
- 22:44Speaker 1: only seasonal. Now it's back to the season is over
- 22:48Speaker 1: and now it's back to creating income, relying on God.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Being thankful for yesterday, thinking, being thankful for today, being
- 22:54Speaker 1: thankful that He has all everything in his mind, and
- 22:59Speaker 1: God's mind everything already done. In my mind. I'm catching
- 23:02Speaker 1: up to what God is doing. Hey man, what about you?
- 23:05Speaker 1: So let's give it all to God. He's worthy of
- 23:07Speaker 1: all the praise, honor, respect, reverence. You fear God, you
- 23:12Speaker 1: respect Him. That's the beginning of wisdom and knowledge and understanding.
- 23:17Speaker 1: So the emphasis is thanks, thankfulness, right, It's actually part
- 23:23Speaker 1: of our identity in Christ and the peace we experience
- 23:27Speaker 1: through Christ when we have the peace of God, because
- 23:31Speaker 1: we have peace with God through the Prince of Peace, Jesus.
- 23:34Speaker 1: When you go to God through Jesus, he'll forgive you,
- 23:37Speaker 1: rescue you, transform you, renew you, restore you, redeem you.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And now he sends Holy Spirit God to live inside
- 23:43Speaker 1: of you. Reminds you that we're supposed to be thankful
- 23:46Speaker 1: for that moment in time that God just turned our
- 23:49Speaker 1: way and he met our need to be saved, and
- 23:53Speaker 1: he gave us the regeneration. We're reborn, we're born again.
- 23:58Speaker 1: We're born first into sin, and then God gives us
- 24:00Speaker 1: an opportunity. And I'm so grateful and thankful that he
- 24:03Speaker 1: gave me and you an opportunity to be born again,
- 24:08Speaker 1: because if we died in a sinful nature, in a
- 24:10Speaker 1: simple state other than being an infant or a child,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I think when you're an infant or a child, and
- 24:16Speaker 1: you go straight to heaven when you die, because it's
- 24:19Speaker 1: not right for God. Right. God's a righteous judge. He's
- 24:22Speaker 1: not going to be like, well, you never called all
- 24:25Speaker 1: my name, so you're not saved, so I'm sending you
- 24:26Speaker 1: to have No, it's not our God. If you lost children,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you know that God's with them. God in there with God.
- 24:35Speaker 1: But as we got older and we started knowing what's
- 24:38Speaker 1: righting what's wrong for ourselves, and started moving the way
- 24:41Speaker 1: we wanted to move, God gave us an opportunity. And
- 24:43Speaker 1: He still gives people opportunities right now to be born again.
- 24:46Speaker 1: So I'm out of time. Be thankful for the time
- 24:49Speaker 1: that we did have. I'm thankful for Amen. Go into
- 24:52Speaker 1: your scriptures, read first Tessalonians, chapter five, the whole chapter
- 24:55Speaker 1: for yourself. I'm out of here, but thank you so
- 24:58Speaker 1: much for hanging out with me for this morning debos.
- 25:00Speaker 1: God bless you all, God keep you all, and remember
- 25:03Speaker 1: always that God is good. Peace
