- 0:59Speaker 3: He one of my absolute favorites.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I agree. I was listening to Arty's show over the
- 1:06Speaker 2: weekend and he makes me laugh.
- 1:09Speaker 4: He's he is so kind.
- 1:10Speaker 5: He one of the first times he when he first
- 1:13Speaker 5: came back to X ninety six. A while back ago,
- 1:16Speaker 5: he sent me a personal message on Facebook and he's like, Hey,
- 1:19Speaker 5: I've been listening to your show for the last couple
- 1:21Speaker 5: of days because I do my own times on the weekends.
- 1:24Speaker 4: And he's like, you sound really great.
- 1:26Speaker 5: And to hear that from you know, people that have
- 1:28Speaker 5: been in the broadcast industry longer than I have.
- 1:30Speaker 4: It's always kind of wonderful to hear that. So he's
- 1:33Speaker 4: he's great.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Uh, call if you think Artie is great, call us.
- 1:38Speaker 1: If you if you if you don't think he's great,
- 1:40Speaker 1: call us, if you've got anything to say at all,
- 1:44Speaker 1: call us. I don't think people seem to be very
- 1:46Speaker 1: talkative today.
- 1:47Speaker 5: We're just waiting for one person on the phone. Yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 5: but but we have open lines and.
- 1:53Speaker 1: You can really tired.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Well, you were up late, non late dinner.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Making steak usk and oh man, I you know, so
- 2:03Speaker 1: we got this steak. It was a.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Cut, was it.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's that's what I'm trying to remember. No, it's it
- 2:12Speaker 1: was fifty dollars steak. No tenderloin, Yeah, tenderloin. It was tenderloin,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but it wasn't like a big roast tenderloin roast. It
- 2:20Speaker 1: was like a beef tenderloin steak and it was fifty dollars.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I looked at the package, I.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Went, what it is expensive?
- 2:28Speaker 2: We went to st K.
- 2:30Speaker 1: What's that?
- 2:30Speaker 2: It's a it's a steak restaurant. The other night they.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Left some letters out, didn't they.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy. It was expensive.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Like it's one of those things where we sat down
- 2:40Speaker 3: and we're looking at it going, I'm looking at the menu,
- 2:42Speaker 3: were like this really.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So now we got some calls. Let's go to the
- 2:45Speaker 1: calls and looks like we've got Jim, Hi, Jim, how
- 2:48Speaker 1: are you good?
- 2:50Speaker 6: How are you good?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Where are you calling from?
- 2:53Speaker 6: I am calling from Bountiful, Utah.
- 2:56Speaker 1: What would you like to discuss?
- 2:58Speaker 6: Well, I don't think it was all your fault with
- 3:02Speaker 6: the whole Trevor Lee thing. And I'll tell you why.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:06Speaker 7: I heard.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I read about his wanting to rename Harvey Milk Boulevard
- 3:14Speaker 6: and knowing his love of the lb G t q
- 3:16Speaker 6: I A community, I called him. Oh, I googled him,
- 3:22Speaker 6: called him and he answered the phone.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Really okay, he did? And did you chat with him
- 3:27Speaker 1: about this issue?
- 3:29Speaker 6: I did, and chat got a little heated on both
- 3:33Speaker 6: sides he hung up on me, but I left him
- 3:37Speaker 6: a few voice smells and he called me back and
- 3:39Speaker 6: chatted again. Yes, I was the one thing I'll give
- 3:42Speaker 6: him that he called me back.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Well, I think part of the thing is he likes
- 3:46Speaker 1: being in the thick of it too, you know what
- 3:49Speaker 1: I mean. He likes being sort of mixing it up.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So did he make some some compelling argument when you
- 3:56Speaker 3: talk to him?
- 3:58Speaker 6: No, And he couldn't really tell where he got his
- 4:00Speaker 6: source that Harvey Milk had been dating fourteen year olds.
- 4:04Speaker 6: But I was quick to remind him that being from Utah,
- 4:08Speaker 6: in our pioneer heritage, there is a history of yes,
- 4:12Speaker 6: heroes in Utah that have dated fourteen year olds and
- 4:15Speaker 6: even married them.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yep. Yeah, yeah, he didn't.
- 4:19Speaker 6: He didn't believe that like that, you know, thanks Jim,
- 4:22Speaker 6: But Jim, I did give him tudles for calling me back.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Looks like we have Lindsay.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Hie, Lindsay what hello, Lindy? Fine? What's up?
- 4:37Speaker 7: Oh?

- 4:40Speaker 8: in a funk today, and I just wondered if he
- 4:45Speaker 8: had any good jokes, for good funny stories or anything.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I got my uh, I got my dad joke book here.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It has to be cheered up.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Hey, why did the woodpecker go to the gym?
- 4:57Speaker 3: So?
- 4:58Speaker 8: I don't know?
- 4:58Speaker 1: So he could he have nice pecks?
- 5:04Speaker 8: Good dad joke.
- 5:06Speaker 1: My wife has been leaving jewelry catalogs all over the house,
- 5:09Speaker 1: so I've taken the hint and I got her a
- 5:11Speaker 1: magazine rack for her birthday. How's that? Is that working
- 5:16Speaker 1: for you?
- 5:16Speaker 6: Losing?
- 5:18Speaker 8: Yes?
- 5:18Speaker 6: It is.

- 5:33Speaker 1: upset a dinosaur touch a sorow spot?
- 5:36Speaker 5: Ha ha ha, good one.
- 5:39Speaker 2: All right, she was too easily amused.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Looks like we have Brad.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Hey, Brad, what's up? How's it going?
- 5:51Speaker 9: Thanks for letting me listen.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 5:54Speaker 9: Just getting into work. And I don't know if it's

- 6:10Speaker 3: what is going on?
- 6:12Speaker 2: What is wrong with people?
- 6:14Speaker 9: I just feel like I don't know. I just feel
- 6:17Speaker 9: like when I wake up, I'm like, I'm not just
- 6:20Speaker 9: all the politics and everything going on. It just feels
- 6:22Speaker 9: like so.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 6:25Speaker 9: Am I the only one that.
- 6:27Speaker 4: You're not alone?
- 6:29Speaker 1: You're not. It has gotten kind of it will get better.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You start to feel like the crazy one? Am I
- 6:37Speaker 2: the crazy? What? Why?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Why isn't everybody seeing how how nutty everything is?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah? I feel you.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 9: I was talking to my wife and I felt like,
- 6:48Speaker 9: do I need to go see a therapist or.
- 6:51Speaker 10: Sure?
- 6:52Speaker 3: I mean, I mean all kidding aside, it might make

- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you can do what I do.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I just Bill, that is not an answer.
