Big warnings about silver and gold from a coin shop veteran
0:06
from every corner of the planet. We're going to talk about why
0:10
this could impact you, impact your silver and your gold.
0:14
Today, we're joined by the one and only the king of junk Silver
0:18
Coin shop. Chris, welcome to Ron's
0:20
basement. How you doing, Ron?
0:22
It's been a while since we've had the Hurricane Emery and
0:25
everything else down here. Every, everything's going great.
0:29
Chris. We, we appreciate you joining us
0:31
today. We know you have special
0:33
insights into what is going on right now in the silver and gold
0:38
market. And obviously for all of us,
0:40
right, including our very important, very important viewer
0:44
who's joining us. It's been a rough 8 or 9 days in
0:48
this market. So we've got reason for
0:50
optimism, but you also have some kind of scary news from people
0:54
you've talked to all over the world.
0:57
And we're going to talk about that in a few minutes.
0:59
But let's go take a quick look at the price of silver and gold
1:02
this morning. Do an update as to what is
1:06
happening because as we know, we've gone through quite a
1:09
period of, let's say, consolidation.
1:11
Here we are channel sponsor Pinbex's website.
1:14
I'm going to do an update on the silver and gold price.
1:16
OK. Hey, Chris Coin chef Chris
1:19
brings good luck. Silver's up $0.07 per oz, Gold
1:23
that went down only $4.00 per oz.
1:26
And compared to what we've been going through lately, that's
1:28
pretty darn good. Thank you to Pinbeck's for
1:30
sponsoring Ron's Basement. If you want to get your hands on
1:34
silver, gold or platinum group metals and you want to get great
1:37
prices, ultra competitive pricing, great selection and a
1:40
company that you can trust, you can call him on the phone, talk
1:43
to Mike or Brian, the owners of the company.
1:46
They're both Cpas. They always encourage everyone
1:49
to stack responsibly. These are great guys with a
1:52
mission to get as much metal into the hands of the stacking
1:55
community as possible at the best prices, the best value.
2:00
Chris, how have you been doing lately?
2:03
Well, we've been doing great, Ron.
2:05
We survived the hurricane and we gained the shop back in order
2:08
and people are fixing up their homes down here and it's been a
2:12
challenge, but we're, but we're making it, Ron.
2:16
Sounds good, buddy. We're going to get to your
2:19
warnings that you have for our viewer about what's happening in
2:23
these people you've talked to from around the world literally.
2:27
And and I think it's critical information for people to hear
2:30
about silver and gold. I want to touch on two more
2:32
things quickly before we do that.
2:35
Let's talk about manipulation. Do you think the price of silver
2:38
possibly is manipulated a little bit, Chris?
2:42
110% Ron. Oh well, look at.
2:45
This. Look at look at this from the
2:48
dude on X right. This is yesterday's data.
2:51
If we go down here you can see trade date Wednesday the 13th of
2:55
November. The silver market, the
2:57
electronic paper Unicorn fart dust silver market traded only
3:02
467,000,000 paper oz. OK, unbelievable.
3:09
Still trading more than 50% of the entire world's annual
3:14
output, OK, of silver in one day.
3:18
I mean, it's just absolutely crazy what is going on in the,
3:23
in the, in the silver market and it's going on all over the
3:26
world. Now you've, you've been talking
3:28
to some people throughout the world, Chris, what are you, what
3:30
are you learning? Get tell us these stories about
3:33
the about the two people you've talked to recently that are
3:36
issuing some caution to the gold and silver stacking community.
3:41
Well, let's, well, let's start with India first, Ron, I mean,
3:46
you know, he, he comes over for the holidays every single year,
3:50
him and his family. He has a brother that lives in
3:52
the. We lost you, Chris.
4:00
Chris. Hi, Chris.
4:01
An ounce of silver, folks, An ounce.
4:05
Can you hear me? I can hear you now, but we.
4:08
I'm here. OK, go ahead.
4:10
So you said you talked about your friend Amir, and then we
4:12
lost you from there. OK, Can you hear me?
4:16
OK, I, I talked to him. Yes, I go ahead.
4:21
I can. So I talked to my friend.
4:24
I mean, he comes from, he comes from India and he has family
4:30
here and he comes for the holidays and he says when people
4:34
get an ounce of silver in India, what he does, he, he's, he's a
4:38
doctor and he gives people one ounce of silver and he can pay
4:44
that for about two months of lunches.
4:46
Sometimes it's a month and a half, depending on the silver
4:49
rate and stuff like that. But they're Ruby rupee is worth
4:53
about 1 cent in American dollars.
4:57
So they need a lot of Ruby, their own money to, you know,
5:01
their average light bill on is 23 to $50.00 a month.
5:05
That don't sound like a lot to us, but to them that is a lot.
5:09
Their average monthly pay in India is about $201.00 a month.
5:17
Wow in American money. So take that.
5:20
So, you know, take a couple of tubes of serving eagles.
5:24
That's their, that's their yearly income.
5:27
And people are living together, Families are living together,
5:31
grandparents, kids and and grandkids are all living
5:35
together. But they're all working to make
5:37
ends meet, so an ounce of silver can go a long way, $100 bill in
5:43
our money can buy 13 nights in a five star hotel in India.
5:49
Wow, that's just amazing. Let's pack our bags and go to
5:53
India. For how long?
5:54
A week? A month?
6:00
Are you there, Chris? Two weeks, $100.
6:04
Can buy. Can buy a fancy hotel room.
6:08
I'm here. OK, yeah, we got.
6:10
You I'm here. Yeah, I can hear you, Chris.
6:12
We can hear you. What's he, what is he saying
6:16
about the general attitudes about towards silver in India?
6:21
People love, people love Silver Lawn, OK.
6:25
People just love silver. They're stacking like little
6:28
BBS. That is what they are stacking
6:33
in jars and stuff like that. India's not big on tips, but the
6:38
since he does make house calls, he does get little babies.
6:42
And I had a question for him. He's I said, how can you verify
6:46
the silver's real? He says, well, that's kind of
6:49
hard to do. But he said when you take it to
6:51
the milk, the melter, he says it's normally coming back about
6:55
99.3% silver, most of it. So he gets paid out on the value
7:02
on that. You know, he's allowed to bring
7:06
him and the team allowed to bring so much silver back every
7:08
single trip when they come in, his brother sends him so much
7:12
silver every single month. People's eyes are just lighting
7:16
up with silver. And he said these are his words.
7:20
The American people better wake the hell up and get more silver
7:25
before it comes. The dollar going to be crashing.
7:29
His words, not mine, not trying to scare people, but you know,
7:35
he, they're part of the bricks on they're part of the bricks,
7:38
you know, and they are trying to get away from the US dollar as
7:43
much as possible. They are as well.
7:46
Yeah, well, and it sounds like that's what we say a lot as
7:49
well. Like the American people that
7:50
are wake the heck up because the dollar, I think Americans and
7:55
our viewer who's joining us right now, I don't think any of
7:58
us have really. We've gone through a slow motion
8:02
currency collapse. I would argue that since 1971,
8:06
when the value of the dollars lost 99% of its value as
8:10
compared to gold, that we've gone through what is a slow
8:13
motion currency collapse. But that's it's going to get
8:16
worse over the next 50 years. You know, when we look at the US
8:20
debt clock, there's no denying that it's going to get worse.
8:23
Do you mind if we take a quick field trip out and look at the
8:26
US debt clock, Chris? Go right ahead.
8:30
Here we go, guys. Here.
8:34
No, we're at 35 trillion, 998 billion U.S. dollars, OK, we
8:40
are, we are any minute now going to eclipse the $36 trillion
8:46
level in national debt. So to think that what this guy
8:49
from India is saying regarding the rupee can't happen in the
8:53
United States. Well, it's already happened over
8:55
the last 50 years, right? The dollar lost, I think the
8:58
Rick Rule said it the other day, during the 1970's, the dollar
9:02
lost 75% of its value. OK.
9:05
And, and, and, and so to think that now in the coming, I'd say
9:10
5 or 10 years, I can see the dollar losing another 75 or 80%
9:15
of its value, especially with with these massive changes and
9:20
massive, you know, kind of propositions that we have about,
9:24
about what President Donald Trump is going to want to do.
9:27
I mean, you know, getting rid of the federal income tax, getting
9:30
rid of taxes, you know, whatever.
9:32
Like, hey, that money's got to come from somewhere right now.
9:35
I'm not making a political statement at all, right?
9:37
I think people know which way I lean politically.
9:40
But this same situation is heading to a country near you.
9:45
And if you're joining us today from the United States, well,
9:50
then, you know, we could see the same thing happening here.
9:54
And he and he said once, you know, once these dolls come
9:57
home, we're going in hyperinflation line, we're going
10:00
to, we're going to see prices we never seen before and there's
10:05
nobody's going to stop it. I mean, there's nobody's going
10:07
to stop it, you know, he said. Get ready for $15 gallons of
10:12
gas, get ready for $12.00 gallon milk.
10:15
And a lot of people don't think we think we're joking, but we've
10:20
always seen prices go up. They have stabilized a little
10:23
bit right now. And I believe that's through
10:26
4:00 because of the upcoming holidays.
10:29
I think after we get past the holidays, we're going to start
10:32
seeing more inflation that we never seen before, right?
10:37
Yeah, we're living in a, we're living in a fantasy land right
10:40
now, you know, where, where things are still somewhat
10:44
manageable. There's all this glow about a
10:46
new president and things, you know, World Peace is going to
10:49
break out and the economy is going to be strong and blah,
10:53
blah, blah. But, you know, let's see two or
10:55
three or four or six months from now or nine months from now
10:59
where we are. And again, not a political
11:01
statement, just looking at the actual facts on the ground,
11:04
right. And I'll point this out.
11:06
I heard a talk a top economist say this just just yesterday.
11:11
If the economy was so strong like they say it is right now,
11:15
right by dynamics is working right?
11:17
If it's if the economy was so strong, commodity prices
11:22
wouldn't be crashing like they are.
11:25
Commodities across the board, oils down, wheat all the all the
11:30
all the farm farming commodities are down.
11:32
Silver and gold are down, coppers struggling.
11:36
If the economy was actually so strong, right, we would have
11:40
booming commodity prices just like we have this booming.
11:44
I mean, what's booming right now?
11:46
Does the stock market? It's already a bubble.
11:48
It's a double bubble. I was talking with Mike from
11:50
Pembex this morning and he talked about what I said
11:53
yesterday, which is, you know, the stock market is a bubble.
11:57
And now it's like a double bubble.
11:58
And then if you, you know, by any measurement, look at where
12:02
the stock market is compared to any other time in history,
12:05
whether it's the tech bubble or right before the great financial
12:08
crisis or even right before the Great Depression.
12:10
And then I we are at like unbelievable value.
12:13
None of it makes sense. And now it's even going higher.
12:16
And then you've got Bitcoin, which I know you love, Chris
12:19
Bitcoin, and I'm not anti Bitcoin.
12:21
We're all on the same team, but bitcoins being blown up.
12:25
There's we're living in this like fantasy land right now is
12:28
what it feels like. Absolutely.
12:30
You know, and you know, I don't do too much politics either on,
12:35
you know, this is not a political statement at all.
12:37
People wanted to change. So people put Trump back in and
12:42
he made, you know, he's not able to vote in this country.
12:45
But he made a prediction. And what what he's saying is he
12:49
says he thinks by the end of next year of 2025 that we're
12:54
going to see a financial collapse in this country that we
12:57
never seen before. It's been well worse in 2008.
13:02
And they're all going to point the things that Trump because
13:04
he's in office and that the Democrats are going to try to
13:08
point the things at him. See, this is what this is what
13:10
the Republicans do and they're going to point and it's not and
13:14
it's not going to be his fault. I mean, you know, he is not
13:17
going to be. And I want to make that crystal
13:19
clear. It don't matter if who got in
13:20
office, if not who, if not the presidents.
13:24
Presidents don't make law. Congress makes law.
13:26
If people, he said. If people want to make a change
13:30
in this country, we got to change Congress, in the Senate.
13:34
That's what he said. Yeah, yeah.
13:37
And both. Of.
13:41
The there, there's unbelievable amounts of of change going on
13:44
and there is speculation. We lost you there for a second,
13:47
Chris. But I want to point this out and
13:48
I'm going to emphasize speculation.
13:51
I've heard from several people that they're setting this, like
13:55
with this market exploding now, everything exploding up that
13:59
they're setting Trump up for, like you talked about a
14:02
potential crisis in the next year, 2 years, whatever.
14:05
We'll see how all that plays out.
14:07
We know that 2024 has been relatively crisis free.
14:12
It'll be interesting to see how things go down the future.
14:15
Chris, you want to move, move on and talk about China here for a
14:18
second. Yeah, I mean, I, I know a woman
14:22
in in Maine, She's been in this country.
14:24
She's able to vote and she. But what's going on in China is
14:30
people are stacking gold beans. They look like a bean.
14:35
They're about a gram each. And it's a lot of younger
14:39
people. She's getting reports from back
14:42
home. A lot of younger people, like
14:44
18, they're starting at 18. They're stacking little gold
14:48
Graham beans, and they're getting their yuan out of the
14:53
system. But China is telling their
14:55
people to stack silver and gold. Now.
14:58
China's not so much on the. Yep, we lost him there for a
15:07
second while while he gets back and reconnected.
15:09
Let's go out and since we're on the subject of China and just
15:14
check Chris, you're back. I hear you.
15:17
Yep, I hear you. OK, we lost you there for a
15:19
second. Go ahead.
15:20
You talked about the young people going out buying these 1
15:24
gram beans. Go ahead.
15:26
Yeah, they go buy these and their shops can that does not
15:31
have enough every day she she's like think about a Brinks truck
15:34
coming to the location every single day.
15:36
They get so much for a day, they're sold out in hours.
15:41
Young people. And it's not just young people,
15:43
it's every type of age. But she's a lot of younger
15:46
people are buying gold and. That's interesting because my
15:54
friend, his name's Chin and he's a PhD.
15:59
He grew up in China, his family still on China.
16:02
He's telling me kind of the same thing.
16:04
And he also says that, you know, he made this point, which is he
16:07
confirmed what what you read in the press about China, that
16:11
people are crazy about gold and silver right now, absolutely
16:16
crazy about it. And I'll never forget him
16:19
telling me he's like, that's because the stock market crash.
16:22
That's because the real estate market, their real estate
16:25
market, they're going through what we went through in O seven
16:28
O 8. Their residential real estate
16:30
market has crashed. OK.
16:32
And what's even more interesting over there is people in China
16:36
are smarter. They don't really trust the
16:38
banks. They know paper money is just
16:40
that paper money's like, so everybody's buying gold and
16:44
silver right now, which sounds like what this your friend from
16:47
Maine who's also still very well connected to China is telling
16:50
you as well. Are you there, Chris?
16:56
Exactly. And she's done.
16:58
She's. I'm here.
17:00
OK, go ahead. I'm here.
17:04
OK, all right, she but she's taking 90% silver for her
17:08
business and she said she don't get a lot.
17:11
He will accept 90% silver. She's going to get a Sigma next
17:15
year and she's going to start taking Oz still for payment
17:19
piece. She says it's very low amount of
17:21
people. She said maybe like a less than
17:24
1% of her sales are paid a 90% silver right now.
17:29
So I mean, we got get she says people need to wake up.
17:32
She basically said she's like driving Miss Daisy, but Miss
17:36
Daisy's in the back seat actually driving because the
17:38
driver is asleep at the wheel. That's how she put it.
17:43
And Miss Daisy's trying to and she's trying to save from having
17:47
the vehicle, but having an accident run.
17:49
That's what she that's how she described it.
17:53
In terms of the kind of the general American attitude
17:56
towards silver, huh, Very, very interesting.
17:59
Yeah. When you talk to people, and I
18:01
talk to a lot of Indian people, my kids are friends with an
18:03
Indian guy, but a lot of some Indian neighbors.
18:06
I got a neighbor across the street, asfaha.
18:10
He's from a little country in northern Africa called Eritrea,
18:13
which is right next to Ethiopia. Greatest guy, one of my best
18:16
friends and I'll never forget this kind of when I first met
18:21
him. He's very successful.
18:23
His kids have been very successful.
18:24
Hardest working couple I've ever met in my life.
18:26
But I was talking to him one day, his son was in law school
18:30
and he was talking about his son and he's like, yeah, my son's in
18:33
law school. His son now works for one of the
18:35
big four accounting firms. And anyway, his son was in law
18:38
school at the time and he's like, he's in law school.
18:41
His son at the same time had started like a tax preparation
18:45
business down in Orlando, FL and his son was really, always
18:49
really into cars like Nissan's and Honda's, you know, fixing
18:53
them up and all that. And he could work on cars.
18:54
He's like, my son has three things that he can do.
18:57
But what he said, the way he described it was he said he has
19:00
three things he can do to get the gold right.
19:05
To get the. I'll never forget.
19:06
I'm saying that to get the gold. He didn't say to make money.
19:09
He said to get the gold. And, and since then subsequent,
19:13
I've talked to him and he's like, Oh yeah, gold is like in
19:16
Eritrea, you know, that which is a, a poorer country in Africa.
19:20
But they do have some goals. Like gold is what people, that's
19:25
how they that's how they measure their wealth, right?
19:28
And that's, and that's prevalent all over the world.
19:31
It's very, very, very interesting.
19:33
And she and she made one more point, Ron, she says, why is
19:37
China? She's asking me this and I
19:39
didn't have no. We lost you, Chris.
19:49
All right, we'll wait for Chris to come back.
19:51
And while we do that, Speaking of China, let's go out and take
19:54
a look at the latest data. From the brains.
19:58
OK, we lost you, Chris again. Sorry.
20:02
That's OK, you said. One more point from your friend
20:04
in China. Yes, she's they're stockpiling
20:08
food grains, rice, beans. Why she's like, she's trying to
20:13
figure out what is really going on.
20:15
Why are people all sudden, you know, for the last couple years
20:19
stockpiling gold in silver and you know, nobody can figure it
20:24
out. I get, I guess nobody can figure
20:26
it out. What?
20:29
So I mean, we're all trying to figure it out.
20:32
Yeah, they're they're they're stockpiling grains.
20:34
Let's go out. I'm going to take us out.
20:36
And then you want to give a one more warning and some insights
20:39
on regards to what you're seeing in the 90% Silver Arena.
20:43
But I was taking everybody out. We don't want to do a quick
20:45
check on the. You want to say Shanghai for me,
20:49
Chris? Shanghai, that good enough?
20:53
Yeah, that's great. Shanghai Gold Exchange.
20:55
This is yesterday's data. Silver as you can see right
20:59
here, AG priced in U.S. dollars in China right now, $33 per oz.
21:07
Now if we go to pin backs, let's do a quick check on the silver
21:12
price in the United States, OK, we're up 15 cents, $30.50.
21:18
So the silver price in China almost I would say what about
21:22
8%, nine percent higher in China for physical metal.
21:27
And remember the Shanghai, I say hi cuz the price is always
21:30
higher in China is a physical, physical market.
21:35
Chris, what are you seeing? You're seeing some interesting
21:38
developments in the 90% constitutional silver arena.
21:43
I want to remind our viewers, some people call it junk, some
21:47
people call it constitutional, some people call it 90% in here.
21:52
I have some right here. I can show the audience, right?
21:55
Anything half silver dollars, there's a half dollar Dimes
22:00
quarters, any, any US coinage pre 1960 or 191964 and earlier
22:08
is made out of 90% silver. They aren't making any more of
22:11
it. And are you seeing any, anything
22:14
that you think is, let's say interesting in that market right
22:17
now, Chris and Chris is not there?
22:23
What? What I've seen wrong last
22:25
Saturday with the shop? I'm here.
22:28
I'm here. Right, Go keep talking while we
22:31
got you. I'm here.
22:33
OK, keep talking, Chris. Yes, I hear you.
22:42
OK. I can hear you.
22:43
All right. 90% server last Saturday, we had about almost
22:47
$1500 worth of Dimes. They're gone.
22:50
And one day that is unheard of, 4 hour shop.
22:54
We just didn't. Everybody wanted Dimes.
22:56
I don't know where it all came from.
22:58
I just don't. I mean Dimes were gone.
23:00
We still can't find Dimes. We had $50.00 of the Dimes come
23:03
in this past week and they were gone on the same day.
23:07
What we are doing, Ron, we are offering coupons.
23:11
If they want to buy $10.00 for the face of Franklin's walking
23:16
or quarters, Ron, and they want to exchange it, we're offering
23:19
90 days to return them for the same price to get their Dimes.
23:23
Are we telling people to go to like your sponsor Pinbacks
23:26
because they have a great place on Dimes to go to Pinbacks?
23:30
We have no other choice. We can't find them.
23:32
We've called other coin shops across the country.
23:35
They gain low or they don't want to give them up.
23:39
That is what's going on. So I don't know what you found
23:43
out or Pinbacks because I know you talked to Pinbacks about
23:45
Dimes two, just two day 2 on. Yeah, I talked to M1 of the
23:50
owners of Pembacs and I asked him and he he checked on what
23:53
you kind of what their inventory look like and they had, he said
23:56
they're plenty in stock, right. But he did make a comment that
24:01
the amount of 90% Dimes in particular that they have in
24:05
stock was probably trending towards definitely the lower
24:09
side. So meaning that, you know,
24:13
compared to let's say over the last year or two, the, the, the
24:16
amount of, of, of silver Dimes that they have a 90%
24:20
constitutional Dimes in stock is definitely, you know, leaning
24:25
towards the lower side. We can't say like sold out or a
24:28
shortage or anything like that, but that there are some some
24:32
kind of developing signs of stress within within that
24:35
market. All right, Chris, thanks for
24:41
joining us today. OK, we're going to look forward
24:43
to seeing you next time. I want to remind everybody that
24:46
Coin Shop Chris the one and only has his own YouTube channel.
24:50
Now I'm going to take you out there real quick.
24:53
If you go on to YouTube and type Coin Shop Chris in the search
24:56
bar, you'll come to this as you can see the coins and it says
24:59
coin Shop Chris. He's got some great videos as
25:03
channels growing like crazy. One of the fastest growing
25:05
channels in the silver and gold sector.
25:08
Here's a great a great video, a big warning from India, almost
25:12
12,000 views. And he's got a lot of other
25:15
interesting content regarding the silver and gold sector.
25:18
And he's a great friend to Ron's basement.
25:20
Chris, we'll look forward to seeing you next time, OK?
25:23
We'll see you next time. Sorry for the connection issues.
25:25
Thank you guys for watching. Please give Ron a thumbs up.
25:28
Please. Oh, yeah.
25:29
Thumbs up. Thank you, Chris.
25:31
We'll see you soon, buddy. Bye.
25:32
Bye. See you buddy.
25:33
Bye, bye, bye. All right, guys.
25:35
Let's move on to some interesting developments in this
25:39
market. We've talked about the pain that
25:42
we've all experienced since what Tuesday, Wednesday of last week,
25:46
it's been about 8 days now in the market.
25:49
What's causing We want we want to understand right, what's
25:53
causing this downdraft and we are back in the situation where
25:57
they are blaming it on the US dollar.
26:02
And let's go out to MarketWatch and take a look at what's going
26:06
on with the US dollar index. OK, well it's down a little bit
26:10
today, but guys the DXY index is at one O 650, OK, it has been on
26:16
an absolute tear. Let's just look at a one month
26:20
chart, OK, let's look at it little bit longer.
26:24
Look at a three month chart of the US dollar index.
26:27
So remember this was on September 27th, the US dollar
26:32
index touched 100. It has gone up 6 1/2% in what is
26:39
that about the last six weeks? OK, now we're back in this
26:43
situation because we're back in this environment where people
26:48
are forgetting about this critical economic situation that
26:52
we're going to be facing in 2025, stagflation.
26:56
But over over the last six weeks, we've seen the dollar
26:59
shoot up precipitously. That's a big deal.
27:02
But what I want to remind you of, what I want to remind you
27:06
of, there's a lot of different ways that people describe the
27:09
DXY index. Some people say it's like, you
27:12
know, the dollars, the prettiest horse in the glue factory, the
27:16
best, the best performing patient in the Hospice ward,
27:20
however you want to say it. You know, I was thinking the
27:23
other day, it's kind of like like the the DXY index.
27:26
It's it's basically the dollar, the euro and the Japanese yen.
27:30
OK, think about that, right. So it's, it's these three crappy
27:34
currencies weighted and we're comparing it to gold and silver,
27:38
right. And those currencies can print
27:41
their, their make believe they're electronic, they're
27:43
whatever, however you want to say it.
27:46
But what I thought of was it's like, it's like the, those 3
27:48
currencies and, and, and the DX are the, the, the euro, the yen
27:53
and the US dollar. It's kind of like, like, you
27:56
know, three people have been locked up in jail and they're
27:59
all cell mates in, in a, in a jail cell.
28:01
They're all been convicted of a really bad crimes.
28:04
They're convicted felons, whatever.
28:06
And they're all sitting around this jail cell together.
28:08
And one of them saying, hey, no, no, you're a good guy.
28:11
And the other one says no, you're a good guy.
28:12
And the other one says, no, you're a good guy, right.
28:14
When the reality is they're kind of living in their own little
28:17
microcosm make believe world, whereas silver and gold, right?
28:22
They are the reality. Don't forget, right?
28:24
That's just I want to say I've spent about a month since we've
28:27
talked about this and it's critical for us as metals
28:30
investors to remember this right?
28:32
On one side over here, you've got precious metals.
28:36
Over here you've got paper money, dollar, yen, euro.
28:40
OK, you can't. This is this is this this amount
28:45
over here, silver and gold maybe goes up one or 2% per year,
28:50
right? Well, with silver, we know it's
28:52
even more limitless. Silver is shrinking.
28:54
But nonetheless, over here, right, the, the little, the, the
28:58
yen, the euro and the dollar, they can print as much of this
29:01
as they want. They could double.
29:03
They could do what they did after the C19 crisis, print 40%
29:07
more U.S. dollars. Think it can go up into
29:10
Infinity, it will go up into Infinity.
29:13
Whereas over here the metals that remains, that's finite,
29:17
right? Sure it'll grow a little bit 123
29:20
percent maybe per year, but the money, the paper money will grow
29:25
into Infinity and there's nothing better to demonstrate
29:28
that to us. We're going to do a double
29:29
feature of the US debt clock today because this we're almost
29:34
there guys. If we stay on long enough, we'll
29:36
get to watch that roll over to 30 at about tomorrow.
29:40
We're going to get our 36 trillion, but that's not what we
29:42
want to talk about. What we want to talk about is
29:44
over here. OK, right here.
29:48
I made the arrow bigger for you. The dollar to silver ratio right
29:52
now is at $993.00. That demonstrates what we just
29:57
talked about that that this ratio measures the increase in
30:01
the M2 money supply, which is like bank accounts C DS you know
30:07
the increase of dollars, paper dollars printed dollars for per
30:13
each per each one ounce of silver that's produced every
30:17
year. And right now they're producing
30:19
993 paper dollars for each one ounce of silver that's produced.
30:25
And we we we tracking this. I think this just is so critical
30:30
and just blatantly shows right here one, what is today the
30:35
14th? You guys help me out. 2024 What
30:39
did we say? 993?
30:41
I mean, look at these that not only is that even if this number
30:45
was not growing, it would be astounding.
30:48
Even back here, right? Three weeks ago when it was at
30:53
$729, it was astounding. So it's an astounding number to
30:58
begin with. But on top of that, it is
31:01
accelerating, OK, We've gone from 700 almost to 1000.
31:05
We're going to hit some big milestones here on the US debt
31:09
clock in the coming. I mean, what does that mean, $36
31:12
trillion? What does that mean?
31:14
Right, $1000 created, printed for each one ounce of silver,
31:19
right? That means this I'm going to I'm
31:22
this is this is a big, big take away that we need to realize
31:27
gold and silver, right? My fist over here, finite can't
31:31
can't really be changed very much, right?
31:34
It's all takes a lot to get an ounce of gold or silver out of
31:37
the ground over here. We see my fingers, right?
31:42
That's electronic money. That's dollars EUR yens they can
31:45
print. They could double that over the
31:47
next five years, OK, They could double the amount of dollars.
31:50
They could triple the amount of dollars, EUR and yen.
31:53
And those three are going to, oh, they're going to compare to
31:55
each other like, no, you're the best.
31:56
No, man, you're the best. No, you're the best, right?
31:59
The three guys sitting around the jail cell who are locked up
32:01
for life, right? The convex, the con men.
32:06
Are these the con men? Does it make sense?
32:08
I hope that makes sense, because I think that's a critical key
32:12
thing for anyone who chooses to protect themselves with precious
32:18
metals. Undeniable.
32:19
OK, I want to warn you, Another warning.
32:23
Jerome Powell talks later today. Yeah, this Jerome Powell, He
32:27
hasn't. We haven't had them out.
32:28
You haven't seen him for a couple weeks, right?
32:30
The king of toilet paper is going to be talking today when
32:35
he when he when I don't know, but they're talking about
32:38
President Trump maybe getting rid of him.
32:40
You're going to hear from him today.
32:42
He's going to be talking right. He'll be talking he'll be
32:45
talking while while this right is going on.
32:50
Be prepared because if he comes out with some hawkish talk,
32:54
right, If he comes out with with the with some type of, with some
32:59
type of, of of message that is perceived as being hawkish, we
33:03
can get hit again in the precious metals markets.
33:06
I don't think that's going to happen.
33:07
But man, nothing is off the table right now, OK?
33:11
Nothing is off the table. The other reason why big reason
33:15
why silver and gold have been getting clobbered and this makes
33:17
no sense and we're going to look at it just very briefly.
33:20
Not only is it the DXY index, it's out of control, but bond
33:25
yields are out of control. Let's go quickly.
33:29
Uh oh, hold on here, hold on there it is 10 year bond.
33:34
This is crazy guys. This is this makes no sense at
33:39
all and is something is something that's very important,
33:44
right? Because it rattles me to look at
33:47
this. There's a one year chart of the
33:50
10 year bond yield. All right, let's go down here.
33:52
See my arrow again. That's right around that same
33:55
time when the dollar bottom. That's right around when Jerome
33:57
Powell. Let's do six months.
34:00
Cut interest rates right here, here.
34:03
Let's draw. Let's get the crayons out.
34:05
OK, here, right there, right. The 10 year bond yield was
34:10
probably what, 3.6%? I think it is.
34:14
I mean, it has gone up more than 3/4 of a percent since right
34:20
here we are today, what, at 4.42 cents.
34:23
Jerome Powell cut rates. Does that make sense?
34:26
Now the other thing to consider with this is that, that massive
34:31
amount of debt that we have on the US debt clock, right, right,
34:36
this right here, right, creates this interest on debt interest
34:41
expense. This when the interest rates go
34:44
up. And because the US Treasury is
34:47
now doing mostly short, a lot of short term funding as they, they
34:50
have to refinance this all the time.
34:53
It'd be like if you as a household had $1,000,000 in debt
34:57
and every couple years you have to refinance that debt,
35:00
refinance that debt that is driving this interest expense
35:03
way, way, way, way higher. Look, the net result of all of
35:08
this will be money printing and monetization meant money
35:11
printing, which you know what that that means for the silver
35:16
price and gold price in monetization of the debt.
35:20
If we think for a second, right, that, that, that anything's
35:24
going to change in the coming 2, four years, I think we could be
35:29
fooling ourselves because there's this thing called
35:31
mathematics, right? Where 2 + 2 = 4, right?
35:35
God, the universe set it up that way, right?
35:38
Not even God can change the laws of mathematics.
35:42
Well, maybe he or she could. I don't want to tempt God,
35:44
right? But mathematics shows no
35:46
forgiveness on the altar of truth.
35:49
That's an absolute case. What about the banking crisis?
35:51
What? Remember the banking crisis?
35:54
Well, listen to this, right? Listen to this.
35:56
There's this new term they're using, and it actually came out
36:01
of the New York Fed, right? And when there's a banking
36:05
crisis again, right, that means rescue packages, money printing,
36:11
the commercial real estate extend, it's called extend and
36:14
pretend billions, possibly trillions of unrealized losses
36:19
sitting on bank books. But they're putting off the day
36:23
of reckoning. This is fascinating, OK?
36:25
And again, this will result in rescue packages, money printing,
36:28
however you want to call it. Remember the BTFD by the, I'm
36:31
sorry, bank term funding program they used when the we had the
36:35
last banking crisis 18 months ago.
36:38
That was like the more banks failed from a dollar, dollar
36:41
perspective that happened during the great financial crisis.
36:44
This is coming to a town near you, OK, because last month the
36:48
New York Fed OK, they put out a paper called Extend and pretend
36:55
in the US commercial real estate market.
36:58
OK. The research explained how Wall
37:02
Street is using extend and pretend to make its commercial
37:06
real estate portfolios look better than they really are.
37:10
So what they're basically doing is, right, the bank's loan, the
37:13
real simple, the bank's loan, $100 million to some guy to buy
37:18
a big commercial real estate office building somewhere, OK,
37:21
That building that was worth 100,000,008 years ago is now
37:26
only worth 12 million. And that's happening.
37:28
That's happening right here in my hometown in Saint Louis,
37:31
right? The AT&T building, downtown
37:33
Saint Louis, it's sold for like 8% or 6% of what it's what it's
37:39
sold for like 16 years ago. There's examples from all over
37:42
the country. So these banks loaned $100
37:45
million eight years ago on a building that was worth $100
37:49
million. Now that building, let's be
37:52
optimistic because that's an extreme example that I just gave
37:55
you is only worth half as much, let's say $50 million.
37:59
So now what the banks are doing is they're just extending the
38:03
loans. They're telling that developer,
38:04
well, don't, don't worry about it.
38:06
We'll we'll extend the loan way out into the future and we'll
38:10
make your payments a little lower.
38:12
They're not recognizing that right now.
38:14
They're not marking it to market that right now.
38:17
This is a big, big issue, right? And, and, and the banks are in
38:21
big, big trouble. The New York Fed put the paper
38:24
out. Now on top of that, you've got
38:27
the bond portfolios that the banks have, right?
38:30
They you, you gave the bank $1,000,000, Richie Rich, right?
38:33
The bank took your $1,000,000 five years ago, three years ago
38:38
and bought a bunch of 30 year, 20 year U.S.
38:40
Treasuries at 2 or 3%. Those treasuries are now worth
38:44
half as much 60% as much, right? They don't have to as long as
38:48
they're going to hold those two maturity right.
38:51
You're, they're fine unless you show up at the bank and want
38:54
your money back and they've got to liquidate those bonds and
38:57
like, well, sorry, our bonds are only worth half as much.
38:59
Which of course then the FDIC would come in, which of course
39:02
then would mean that we would have more darn money Printing
39:05
everything leads to the world, the magical, the magical world
39:10
of of this. And thank you to our friend Don
39:13
Indris for for sending this to right to this right printing
39:17
more of this stuff. Everything leads that way, but
39:20
it's even crazier. Consider this.
39:23
Consider this when you, when you, when you look at the fact
39:27
that what we looked at that 10 year bond yield up almost one
39:30
percent, 3/4 of a percent, what whatever it is, when the yields
39:34
go up, the value of the bonds go down.
39:37
So the banks are now compared to six weeks ago again in hot water
39:42
with these things. I mean, look, you're not going
39:44
to walk into your bank. I love my bank.
39:46
It's right, I can walk there. It's like 300 yards from my
39:50
house. I love them.
39:51
Carmel, the bank manager, she's nice, right, right.
39:54
I don't keep a lot of money in the bank, but she still likes me
39:57
anyway, when I walk in that door, I all I ever see is is a
40:02
big, these big placards that say sign up for our platinum
40:05
checking, sign up for our gold money market account, right?
40:09
They aren't going to put signs up that say warning, right?
40:13
The the commercial real estate that we invested in is not only
40:17
worth half as much warning the. Bonds that we bought with the
40:20
money that you gave us four years ago is now worth only 70%
40:23
as much. And I'm not saying that specific
40:25
to my banks. I have no idea what their
40:27
financial condition is. What I'm just telling you is
40:30
that's the situation right now. They're probably thinking they
40:33
can inflate it away, right? Everything will be OK five years
40:38
from now, right? Cuz the dollar will be worth
40:40
half as much. That's probably the plan in the
40:45
banking sector, but the higher interest rates are putting more
40:48
and more stress on the banks. And as the world is saying, we
40:52
don't want U.S. Treasuries.
40:53
We don't want it. Sorry, buttercup, you Americans,
40:58
we don't want to buy your debt anymore.
40:59
We don't want to finance you. China doesn't want to find.
41:02
China saved us during the great financial crisis.
41:04
They bought all of our debt, right?
41:06
No, they don't want it anymore. They don't it.
41:09
That's going to make rates go even higher.
41:11
I'm telling you guys, we could be in for some very, very
41:14
interesting times here as we move into this coming two to
41:18
four years. We got a lot more to talk about.
41:25
Oh, I forgot. I want to say thank you for
41:27
being here today. I'm the most important part of
41:29
the show, right? Please, I want you to know
41:32
you're important. I want to give you quality
41:34
content on a daily basis about silver and gold.
41:37
But most importantly, right, I want you to feel like you're
41:40
part of this group because you are part of the group.
41:43
You've got a name. Think of your name.
41:45
Your name is just as important as me and everybody else that's
41:48
here. But we're all coming together.
41:50
We're like, we're part of a tribe.
41:52
So all I'll ask is that you please subscribe and give it a
41:57
thumbs up if you wouldn't mind. Oh, we've got a super chat.
42:00
Hold on here, our friend Silver Surfer.
42:03
Thank you. You're generous on a, on a, on a
42:08
on a regular basis. Money was codified in 450 BC and
42:12
credit was first codified 800 years earlier.
42:15
We live in a bizarro world. So the dollar will crash when
42:19
credit implodes. Yeah, we live in.
42:21
Thank you Silver Surfer. Guys, we are living in a fantasy
42:25
world right now when it comes to economics and money.
42:30
No doubt about it, right? Math does not apply right now,
42:35
but but it math does apply. At the end of the day, there's
42:39
no way Trump is not going to. Yeah.
42:45
Oh, hey, stacking. Susie says stacking.
42:47
We have Silver Surfer and stacking surfers on as well.
42:49
Hello, Stacking server. Good to see you.
42:51
Go check out his channel, guys. Another friend of Ron's
42:54
basement, our friend out in California, the Stacking surfer.
42:59
Very interesting content. He's got some really great
43:02
unique insights into the silver and gold Margaret.
43:06
But Trump is not Donald Trump is not going to turn off the money
43:11
spicket. OK, He's just not.
43:14
That's my opinion, right? Not a political statement.
43:17
Trump has a history of I'm going to beat this, of he's a history
43:22
both as AUS previous U.S. President and as a businessman
43:27
of racking up debt. That's a fact.
43:30
OK, I'll say it one final time. Not a political statement.
43:34
Did we hear one serious word from Donald Trump during the
43:40
during the election process, during the debates?
43:43
One serious word about addressing the US national debt.
43:50
No, no, no. Right.
43:52
OK. We did hear a lot of
43:54
extraordinary promises, right? Eliminating the income tax.
43:57
I mean, it's unbelievable what they're talking about, changes
44:03
that they're talking about. But all those big changes, all
44:05
those big tax cuts, all that, right, That requires money.
44:10
That requires money, money, money.
44:12
And the only place that money is going to come from six or one
44:15
half dozen, the other is through money printing.
44:19
That's a fact. That's exactly what's going on.
44:21
And right now we are in a deflationary debt spiral.
44:26
There's no other way to look at it.
44:27
I mean, we are there, right? He's not going to, he is not
44:31
going to embrace austerity. We can't expect that to be the
44:35
case, OK. And that's fine because we're
44:38
into, you know, we're into silver and gold, right?
44:41
I mean, Trump's into gold. He likes gold toilets.
44:44
I was, I researched that last night.
44:45
I remembered that. But yeah, you know, I mean,
44:48
Trump likes gold and silver. Trump likes to to, to, to borrow
44:53
money, to print money. I think that this little.
44:58
Here's what I feel. I could be wrong.
45:01
When I feel like a year from now or two years from now, we're
45:04
going to look back at this painful period that we're going
45:07
through right now is precious metals investors, this painful
45:10
period post election of Donald Trump, all political feelings
45:14
aside, right? Just the fact that silver and
45:17
gold, I mean, gold's down what, six, 7%, silver's down 12% since
45:22
the election, that two years from now, a year from now, maybe
45:26
even six months, maybe sooner from now, we're going to look
45:29
back and be like, woof, isn't that weird?
45:31
You know what I'm talking about? Like you look back and like,
45:33
wow, we were so scared as precious metals investors, we
45:36
were questioning ourselves. Maybe you do that.
45:39
Look, we all do it. But everything turned out to be
45:43
a OK, that's what I think's going to happen.
45:46
That's what I think we have to look forward to.
45:48
Hey, thank you for being here today.
45:50
Thanks to channel sponsor Pinbeck's first mining gold,
45:55
Canadian gold developer with two multi million ounce projects in
45:57
Canada and Fortuna Mining operating mining company silver
46:02
and gold in Latin America and, and I got one more good thing
46:06
for you guys. OK, one more good thing.
46:09
But Fortuna's mining silver and gold in Latin America and a lot
46:13
of gold in West Africa. Very exciting development that
46:16
great earnings, third quarter earnings came out last week
46:19
guys, don't forget. I want to pull this up.
46:23
I'm doing a dirty man safe giveaway on December 30th.
46:28

46:46
I made that up. Do what the pirates did.
46:48
Bury yourself. What did the pirates do with all
46:50
the silver they got? They buried it, right?
46:53
People are still looking for it today.
46:55
Well, you can do the same thing, right?
46:57
People know people target safes and houses, fires, floods,
47:01
whatever. Yeah, if it's buried in the
47:04
ground, that's where it came from, I'd say it's pretty darn
47:06
safe. So dirty man's.
47:08
And I was really, really impressed with The Dirty man
47:11
safe that they sent to me. And I'm so impressed.
