- 2:24Speaker 5: and I but and we've done eulogies and a little
- 2:27Speaker 5: bit later on, we're gonna do the one for Hugh Freeze.
- 2:29Speaker 5: I'm just letting you know, Flynn, I've got very high
- 2:32Speaker 5: expectations for this one. Why there's a lot, There's a
- 2:36Speaker 5: lot there, Bud.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Look, it's gonna be pretty hard to top of Brian
- 2:39Speaker 4: Kelly eulogy.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I disagree.
- 2:42Speaker 6: I think I think that the Hugh Freeze one is
- 2:45Speaker 6: going to be electric.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Well, I've been, I've been, I stayed up, I got
- 2:50Speaker 4: twenty five minutes.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You've been in the lab with.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Smoke coming from a legal pad call them right, the
- 3:00Speaker 4: yellow yeah, the leg pet Yeah, here.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Is m.
- 3:07Speaker 5: What's you yet just start I'm thinking about like, okay,
- 3:11Speaker 5: so Alburt and Florida are two very very proud programs.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Now LSU's not in a great spot. I don't pretend
- 3:20Speaker 5: to act like they're in a great spot. You know,
- 3:23Speaker 5: very soon you're gonna get a president. Okay, we'll see
- 3:25Speaker 5: how that goes. After you get a president, you get
- 3:27Speaker 5: an athletic director, and you get a head coach. Right now,
- 3:29Speaker 5: you don't have any of the three all have an
- 3:31Speaker 5: interim tag with them. So trying not to cast too
- 3:34Speaker 5: many stones here, but Alburt and Florida, like we're talking
- 3:39Speaker 5: like four losing seasons in a row for Florida, it's
- 3:42Speaker 5: three of the last four. You're not there now, You're
- 3:46Speaker 5: not where you want to be, where you need to be,
- 3:49Speaker 5: where it has to be. But you know, a year ago,
- 3:53Speaker 5: but you get nine wins. It's not great. It's not great.
- 3:56Speaker 5: But you've had nine wins and we're talking about teams
- 3:59Speaker 5: have losing records this year. You're five and three. Not great,
- 4:03Speaker 5: not acceptable, can't be there, we know that. But you
- 4:06Speaker 5: are five and three. So in a day and age
- 4:10Speaker 5: where you can turn it around faster, I still do
- 4:14Speaker 5: have more hope than some of these places that we've
- 4:16Speaker 5: like when we were playing and not even that long ago.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Auburn and Florida are standards of the SEC, just like
- 4:24Speaker 5: LSU was, and.
- 4:25Speaker 4: They will remain that way. I mean it's not that's not.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Saying, but they're in a worse spot if you look
- 4:30Speaker 5: off recent track record.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and they will. They will bounce back. And I
- 4:36Speaker 4: think that right when I think about Florida not being
- 4:41Speaker 4: good over the last three we just said three of
- 4:44Speaker 4: the last four years, losing record.
- 4:45Speaker 6: I mean last year was there a winning record? Wasn't
- 4:48Speaker 6: like it was eight wins?
- 4:49Speaker 4: Yeah, the Bowl wind And there's nobody that like that
- 4:51Speaker 4: likes the University of Florida like less than Jake and I,
- 4:55Speaker 4: these two guys right here at this table. But we
- 5:00Speaker 4: we we we really like to not like them because
- 5:03Speaker 4: they're a standard.
- 5:05Speaker 1: They are part of.
- 5:07Speaker 4: The they're part of the historically at the top, you know,
- 5:10Speaker 4: towards the top of the mountain of the SEC. Just
- 5:12Speaker 4: from a helmet, from a name, from a brand, They're
- 5:16Speaker 4: everything that the SEC, you know, is part of it.
- 5:21Speaker 4: And so I want them to be good. I want
- 5:23Speaker 4: them to be relevant. I want them to be dangerous
- 5:27Speaker 4: because I want that game. I want that l s
- 5:29Speaker 4: U Versus Florida game to be what it should be. Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 4: I want it to be relevant and I want it
- 5:36Speaker 4: to be electric, and I want the intensity. I want
- 5:38Speaker 4: that hatred come in both directions in that stadium. I
- 5:42Speaker 4: want that. I want that hatred to be there, sideline
- 5:44Speaker 4: to sideline, and when you're not a good program, it's
- 5:47Speaker 4: just I mean it's still there, but it's lacking a
- 5:49Speaker 4: little bit. Same with Auburn, I mean, it was what
- 5:52Speaker 4: a fantastic right. I mean, they're still dangerous states and
- 5:55Speaker 4: still they can still hit on a recruiting class or
- 5:57Speaker 4: a couple of transfers and be a dangerous team. But
- 6:01Speaker 4: I think, you know, we want I think all of
- 6:03Speaker 4: us as SEC football fans, we should want those teams
- 6:06Speaker 4: to be good and we should want their program to
- 6:09Speaker 4: be stable, because that is why SEC is so great.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Because of the rivalries, because of those matchups between the
- 6:16Speaker 4: best of the best of the best. That is why
- 6:18Speaker 4: we love it. That's why kids, that's why kids sign here,
- 6:20Speaker 4: That's why coaches want to come here because you get
- 6:23Speaker 4: those matchups and those opportunities, and the fan bases are great,
- 6:26Speaker 4: so yeah. I like it's as much as like we
- 6:29Speaker 4: like to laugh that they're grave, it's we don't want
- 6:33Speaker 4: to be doing that because we want them to be good.
- 6:37Speaker 4: That is just my humble opinion. But I think that
- 6:41Speaker 4: if you really look at it as an SEC fan,
- 6:44Speaker 4: you should probably feel somewhat the same, like you want
- 6:48Speaker 4: those big games between them.
- 6:50Speaker 5: This isn't even really like the whole reason to bring
- 6:53Speaker 5: that up is not even really to to hate on them.
- 6:58Speaker 5: It's really just to kind of shine light on on
- 7:02Speaker 5: where LSHU is because I mean, we fell down and
- 7:07Speaker 5: out right now. I think that's that's fair to say.
- 7:10Speaker 5: I think everybody it's like, like just not a great situation,
- 7:15Speaker 5: not a great situation. It's got to be better. But
- 7:18Speaker 5: the whole point in bringing that up was, you know,
- 7:21Speaker 5: you look at where Auburn's at right now, and they
- 7:24Speaker 5: move on from Hugh Freeze. Okay, so in the last
- 7:27Speaker 5: four seasons, there's the last four seasons for LSU. All right,
- 7:31Speaker 5: you're ten and four, ten and three, nine and four,
- 7:35Speaker 5: five and three. I said it, it's not it's not
- 7:38Speaker 5: good enough, right, It's not just not not ever going
- 7:41Speaker 5: to be something where you're okay with that okay, but
- 7:45Speaker 5: Auburn in their last four seasons five and seven, six
- 7:48Speaker 5: and seven, five and seven, four and five. So I'm saying,
- 7:55Speaker 5: you're still ahead of some places that are historically major
- 8:00Speaker 5: players in the SEC, but they're down bad right now. Now,
- 8:06Speaker 5: you got to you got to hit on this higher.
- 8:07Speaker 5: You got to hit on both these hires. You have
- 8:10Speaker 5: to get some positive momentum. Florida in that same time
- 8:14Speaker 5: period six and seven, five and seven, eight and five,
- 8:20Speaker 5: what are they overall this year three and five. The
- 8:24Speaker 5: whole point bring that up again is because like that's
- 8:27Speaker 5: they're starting over within the SEC.
- 8:29Speaker 6: Like no point do in Arkansas.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Arkansas'll be the same, But we don't consider Arkansas the
- 8:33Speaker 5: same as Florida and Auburn.
- 8:34Speaker 4: In the SEC.
- 8:36Speaker 5: So teams that you're you know, probably competing with somewhat. Now,
- 8:41Speaker 5: do I think LSU's the best of those three jobs. Absolutely,
- 8:44Speaker 5: But you're probably competing somewhat for your next head coach.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I think you just have more on the table that
- 8:50Speaker 5: you can. I mean, cause you got two ten win
- 8:52Speaker 5: seasons in there. Again, we all expect better, want better,
- 8:57Speaker 5: need better, But you're talking about having two ten wins
- 9:00Speaker 5: seasons in that time period where you would have to
- 9:04Speaker 5: combine Auburn's two best seasons to get to ten.
- 9:08Speaker 4: In a four year period. Yeah, it is pretty wild
- 9:11Speaker 4: to sit here and say that our kids just got
- 9:16Speaker 4: took their costumes off and they still have a pumpkin
- 9:20Speaker 4: shaped bucket of candy sitting in their bedroom right now,
- 9:24Speaker 4: and we're already talking about four sec jobs that are open. Yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 4: and we just finished Halloween. We are at the beginning
- 9:33Speaker 4: of November, and it's pretty wild to say. It just
- 9:36Speaker 4: goes to show you what the expectations are.
- 9:38Speaker 5: And you you're going to see probably at least one
- 9:41Speaker 5: more Oh yeah, open up now they spread some time.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Hopefully they spread out weekly so we can get the
- 9:49Speaker 4: eulogies in.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Yeah, they're going to have a major college firing for
- 9:53Speaker 5: the rest of the year every week.
- 9:56Speaker 6: I feel pretty confident in saying that.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Yep. And do you think the you think that is
- 10:01Speaker 4: the leash is a lot shorter because of this expanded playoff. Yes,
- 10:05Speaker 4: there's so many so many teams are like playoff or bust,
- 10:08Speaker 4: playoff or bust, which they should be.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Yeah, certainly, there's no question about it.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that it gets her Verge.
- 10:13Speaker 4: On Friday on Friday.
- 10:15Speaker 5: He's like, LSU football should make the college football playoff
- 10:18Speaker 5: every year. Now, that's incredibly tough to do. That's a
- 10:22Speaker 5: lofty goals, but that's in Ad just said that. He's like,
- 10:26Speaker 5: LSU should make the college football playoff every year. And
- 10:30Speaker 5: you haven't made it in the twelve team playoff, and
- 10:33Speaker 5: you know, the two years that it's been here, you
- 10:35Speaker 5: only made the four team playoff one time.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Like, that's got to go up. I think I think
- 10:43Speaker 6: I looked at it.
- 10:44Speaker 5: We would have made it three times in our four years,
- 10:46Speaker 5: or you would have made it four out of your
- 10:47Speaker 5: five and a four team playoff and a four team playoff.
- 10:52Speaker 4: You would have made it four out of five. I
- 10:54Speaker 4: would have made it three out of four. Yeah, I'm
- 10:55Speaker 4: pretty sure. And that's the goal that LSU should have,
- 10:59Speaker 4: I mean forever. Even when we weren't making, you know,
- 11:01Speaker 4: the the four team playoff, there was a run that
- 11:05Speaker 4: we would still make most of the twelve team because
- 11:07Speaker 4: like there was Yeah, you lose some games, you lose
- 11:10Speaker 4: some strategic games, you lose Tobama, but you were still
- 11:13Speaker 4: at the end of the year top twelve team. Certainly, Matt,
- 11:18Speaker 4: if we finished eleventh, we were kind of like, I know, right,
- 11:21Speaker 4: I think top ten? Yeah weird, right, because LSU is
- 11:24Speaker 4: a top ten team. Yeah, we'll get there. We gotta
- 11:29Speaker 4: get a president and then they could be coming here
- 11:32Speaker 4: very soon this week. I still find that order a
- 11:37Speaker 4: little strange, which whole order of everything saying that, you know,
- 11:42Speaker 4: naming Verge the interim and so think not having a
- 11:46Speaker 4: play plan for the full time, like not having a
- 11:49Speaker 4: timeline for the full time said the interim hirer coach
- 11:52Speaker 4: and then bring in a full time potentially, I would
- 11:55Speaker 4: think that Verge has to be the top of the list.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I would think that with them saying that he has
- 12:01Speaker 4: the full authority to make the hire, that tells you
- 12:04Speaker 4: that he is by far a number one down on
- 12:07Speaker 4: the list. Because you don't want to bring in a coach,
- 12:10Speaker 4: especially a high profile coach, just like gms and.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Coaches in the NFL, they're going to be tied together.
- 12:17Speaker 4: So you want to get yourself tied into like a
- 12:19Speaker 4: Bell Belichick situation in Foxborough in New England where he
- 12:23Speaker 4: pretty much made the higher for GM because he technically
- 12:28Speaker 4: was the GM. Well, yeah, I don't know if you
- 12:31Speaker 4: want to get in that situation. Your head coach is
- 12:33Speaker 4: determining hit the athletic.
- 12:37Speaker 5: So look, there's some things that could be short up here,
- 12:40Speaker 5: very shortly. You could have a president this week. You
- 12:44Speaker 5: can pull it interim tag off Verge, Verge. If you
- 12:47Speaker 5: feel right now as strong as it feels like you do,
- 12:51Speaker 5: that's your athletic director.
- 12:52Speaker 6: And then but then as a team you go and
- 12:54Speaker 6: you hire a head coach.
- 12:55Speaker 4: But then you're basically hiring a president and telling him
- 12:58Speaker 4: you got You're hiring Verge prays telling the president who
- 13:02Speaker 4: to hire.
- 13:03Speaker 5: At that point, Look, this entire thing has been asked backwards.
- 13:09Speaker 5: I mean, let's not act you know what I mean like,
- 13:11Speaker 5: let's not act like it.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's not like.
- 13:15Speaker 5: You got right now, let me see if I can
- 13:18Speaker 5: pull it up. You've got Governor Brian Kemp, the governor
- 13:23Speaker 5: of the State of Georgia, quote tweeting Barstool Sports of
- 13:28Speaker 5: Governor Landry's speech talking about Scott Woodward with a quote
- 13:34Speaker 5: tweet this is a Kirby Smart appreciation tweet good luck,
- 13:39Speaker 5: and then tags Governor Landry go dogs h. So to
- 13:45Speaker 5: say any of this is going as it normally does
- 13:49Speaker 5: would be laughing.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Wait, you know you know what I mean that governors
- 13:52Speaker 6: don't usually quote.
- 13:53Speaker 5: Tweet, barstool and talk this to each other over college football.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Yeah, kind of like it, though, it's find everybody's getting
- 14:02Speaker 4: into it.
- 14:04Speaker 5: I just want to get some structure, and I just
- 14:07Speaker 5: want to get it sooner rather than later, sooner rather
- 14:12Speaker 5: than later, because right now you just you have interim, interim, interim,
- 14:17Speaker 5: which you got to fight. You gotta keep going, you
- 14:21Speaker 5: got to keep marching forward. That's okay, but the plan's
- 14:24Speaker 5: got to get into place here pretty soon. You've got
- 14:25Speaker 5: a high school recruiting class that is going to be
- 14:28Speaker 5: I believe Tata correct me for wrong, a month from today.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, December third, right through the fifth is the early.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Third through the fifth, but starts a month from today,
- 14:38Speaker 5: from right now. And uh, I don't know if you
- 14:40Speaker 5: know this, but you've got some pretty big recruits in there,
- 14:43Speaker 5: got a couple five stars in there. You got some
- 14:45Speaker 5: players that are the best in their position coming out
- 14:47Speaker 5: of high school.
- 14:48Speaker 4: You might want to. It still blows my mind that,
- 14:50Speaker 4: like most people sign then, because everybody goes in rolls early.
- 14:55Speaker 5: That's why you did it, not Joy, Yeah, go play yeah, soccer,
- 15:01Speaker 5: baseball or whatever. Your spring sport is the most fun
- 15:05Speaker 5: I had was playing so good high school soccer my
- 15:07Speaker 5: senior year.
- 15:08Speaker 4: My brother was my head coach.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Coach Saban came to watch this and we had like
- 15:12Speaker 5: three thousand people there. Made budget for like ten years
- 15:16Speaker 5: off that one game. Me and coach Saban driving.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Back to my house my single cab pickup truck.
- 15:24Speaker 4: That big deal. What the crank windows?
- 15:29Speaker 5: I know by this time I got Beyonce had automatic windows.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Yeah, whatever money my parents were going to spend on college,
- 15:39Speaker 5: they got me a new ride since I got a scholarship.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Oh good for you. Yeah, grets on that scholarship. Thank
- 15:45Speaker 4: you appreciate that. That's probably didn't think it was going
- 15:47Speaker 4: to happen after Rivals give you your ranking.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Well, they knew it would happen, but maybe not.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Like they preferred walking.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Maybe you know, maybe ACUSA little conference USA situation.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I thought a lot about this weekend, our conversation with
- 16:08Speaker 4: Dick Dixon on Friday morning talking about a mister Kelvin Shepard.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I think I'm starting to like it that option. Okay,
- 16:19Speaker 4: well let's explore that when we come back.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Let's get into that, because he is certainly a name
- 16:24Speaker 5: that's been thrown out there we'll update you on what
- 16:27Speaker 5: their name.
- 16:27Speaker 4: We'll update you on what the latest odds are.
- 16:29Speaker 5: Because there was a time when there's some coaches on
- 16:33Speaker 5: this list that would not have even gotten to mention
- 16:35Speaker 5: because you felt like you had to fit in a
- 16:37Speaker 5: certain box and you had to have certain things on
- 16:39Speaker 5: your resume. I don't think that's the case anymore. But
- 16:43Speaker 5: if we explore that, what would that look like and
- 16:46Speaker 5: what would it take? We'll give that to you when
- 16:48Speaker 5: we come back here on OTB Off the bench, I
- 16:54Speaker 5: go to Boujos Electrical dot com. Get that whole home
- 16:57Speaker 5: generator ready to go for the holly. When you call

- 17:20Speaker 5: you've got the entire family over at your house for Thanksgiving,

- 17:28Speaker 5: you gonna do? Well, You're gonna get judged. I can
- 17:31Speaker 5: tell you that you're gonna have disappointment in his eyes.
- 17:34Speaker 6: You don't want that. Go to Boojoselectrical dot Com.
- 17:36Speaker 4: I told her you aren't the one. Don't prove him right.

- 18:03Speaker 3: It's our proby Tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Why all right, welcome back in OTB here on this
- 18:32Speaker 5: Monday morning, Matthew. On Friday, we had Richard Dick Dixon
- 18:40Speaker 5: on the show and we were talking about the press
- 18:44Speaker 5: conference that we saw earlier in that day. Some of
- 18:46Speaker 5: the top candidates maybe for the LSU job. And there
- 18:51Speaker 5: is one that is a former teammate of all three
- 18:54Speaker 5: of ours, and somebody that's you know, obviously had some
- 18:58Speaker 5: success at the NFL level as a defensive.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Coordinator, albeit his first year. But you know a Tiger
- 19:04Speaker 6: threw and through.
- 19:05Speaker 5: He had the press conference there where he said, if
- 19:07Speaker 5: you cut him open, he would be a liger, half lion,
- 19:10Speaker 5: half tiger.
- 19:11Speaker 4: So great comment.
- 19:12Speaker 5: Greatkelvin Shepherd is somebody that a lot of people have
- 19:15Speaker 5: thrown around maybe potentially getting an opportunity to at least
- 19:19Speaker 5: interview for the head coaching job of the LSU Fighting Tigers.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Lay that out for me, Like, what what does that
- 19:26Speaker 5: look like if it does happen?
- 19:29Speaker 1: Like what would have to.
- 19:29Speaker 5: Be some things that he would have to surround himself
- 19:32Speaker 5: with to make sure that everything was taken care of?
- 19:36Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think I don't think that, Like you
- 19:37Speaker 4: and I are like in a position right now to
- 19:39Speaker 4: say who we want to be or who we think
- 19:42Speaker 4: is going to be, because nobody really knows, Like we
- 19:44Speaker 4: don't know, and we don't know who really is going
- 19:47Speaker 4: to be available and who really would want to come
- 19:51Speaker 4: and take the job up. We're assuming a lot of
- 19:52Speaker 4: people would. We were assuming that anybody would. But you know,
- 19:56Speaker 4: after our talk with with Richard on Friday, I just
- 19:59Speaker 4: got to think it about Kelvin Shepherd and kind of
- 20:01Speaker 4: like his you know, timeline as a player as a coach,
- 20:05Speaker 4: kind of the people that you know, we know him
- 20:09Speaker 4: very well, right because we were teammates with him. We
- 20:11Speaker 4: know what kind of guy he is. We know what
- 20:13Speaker 4: kind of dude he is. We know the kind of
- 20:15Speaker 4: energy that he brings, the dog that is in him,
- 20:20Speaker 4: and we also knows football IQ. Everybody else in the
- 20:23Speaker 4: world kind of got introduced to this Kelvin Shephard as
- 20:27Speaker 4: a coach. I don't remember how many years ago, but
- 20:29Speaker 4: it was on on The Hard Knock Show where they
- 20:32Speaker 4: had the camera inside the meeting room and he's talking
- 20:35Speaker 4: to his linebackers and talking to him rather aggressively and
- 20:39Speaker 4: talking to him like a dog, but also like having
- 20:41Speaker 4: compassion towards him out like being relatable to them. Like
- 20:44Speaker 4: it was all the coaches speak that. You watched it
- 20:47Speaker 4: and you're like, man, that is like as real as
- 20:49Speaker 4: it gets, and like the guy just gets it. He's
- 20:53Speaker 4: real and he knows how to communicate his message with
- 20:57Speaker 4: an intensity but also like and understanding. He laid out
- 21:04Speaker 4: the expectation to his players. He was intentional about it,
- 21:09Speaker 4: and it was a guy that like, you're not going
- 21:11Speaker 4: to talk back to and you're not going to be like,
- 21:13Speaker 4: no coach I saw this just it's just not that
- 21:15Speaker 4: kind of ore that surrounds Kelvin Sheppard now first year coordinator. Yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 4: but he's been doing it at the assistant level, you know,
- 21:23Speaker 4: for a good handful of years at a very high
- 21:25Speaker 4: level and doing it well what that looks like for him,
- 21:29Speaker 4: Like I was intrigued by it because yeah, he is
- 21:31Speaker 4: an NFL coach right now. So like it's this whole
- 21:34Speaker 4: like Wade and See situation, This fear of the unknown
- 21:37Speaker 4: that that current players might have when the transfer portal opens,
- 21:42Speaker 4: h recruits have that are signing in December. Third, have
- 21:45Speaker 4: you signed someone out of the NFL. There's no hesitation.
- 21:48Speaker 4: They can announce, Hey, I'm going to be the head
- 21:51Speaker 4: coach for so and SO team. I don't care if
- 21:52Speaker 4: it's Week ten. I'm going to coach out the rest
- 21:55Speaker 4: of the year. Then I'm going to go be a
- 21:57Speaker 4: head coach like you can let everybody know. It's not
- 22:00Speaker 4: like I got to hold my cards you know, close
- 22:02Speaker 4: to my vest and you know Lane Kiffin situation where
- 22:05Speaker 4: it's going to be mid January. So that part is
- 22:08Speaker 4: intriguing to me because there's this big scenario you could
- 22:10Speaker 4: play out of your head, like well, you know, I know,
- 22:13Speaker 4: I know Kevin Sherward gets it. He's an LSU guy,
- 22:15Speaker 4: Like he gets he understands like the way this thing operates,
- 22:18Speaker 4: he knows who verges, he knows who Frank Wilson like
- 22:20Speaker 4: he you know this is I'm going to coach.
- 22:23Speaker 1: The rest out.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Frank's going to take over right now, He's going to
- 22:28Speaker 4: handle the recruiting, and he's going to be you know, retained.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Like all that situation is intriguing to me because I
- 22:35Speaker 4: know the type of dude Kevin Shepard is. Now, does
- 22:39Speaker 4: that mean like he's my first choice? I have no idea.
- 22:41Speaker 4: I don't know who my first choice is. I don't
- 22:43Speaker 4: have a list right now.
- 22:44Speaker 5: That's why I like, I would love to get in
- 22:45Speaker 5: front of like five different people that I think can
- 22:47Speaker 5: do the job, but I'd want to hear them explain
- 22:50Speaker 5: how they would do the job and also why they
- 22:53Speaker 5: would want to take the job.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Yep, that's for sure to me, that yeah, exactly why
- 22:58Speaker 4: you want to take the job, what's your vision for
- 23:00Speaker 4: and everything.
- 23:00Speaker 6: I got to see some authenticity in this.
- 23:02Speaker 4: That's why Kelvin Shepard thing intrigues me so much, because
- 23:05Speaker 4: he can do that from the NFL level. He can
- 23:07Speaker 4: make it make it known. He can still coach out
- 23:09Speaker 4: his whole year and it might be a lie that
- 23:11Speaker 4: might go to you know, they got a team that
- 23:12Speaker 4: could go to the super Bowl. I think he would
- 23:16Speaker 4: maintain a lot of the good coaches there's all because
- 23:18Speaker 4: there's a lot of good coaches, a lot of good
- 23:20Speaker 4: people over in that in that building right now. I
- 23:24Speaker 4: just think there's a scenario that could play out that
- 23:27Speaker 4: would be really advantageous for LSU and create electricity with
- 23:32Speaker 4: the recruits, with the current the current players. I think
- 23:36Speaker 4: that would be a bit a huge home run from
- 23:38Speaker 4: that aspect. So the more I think about it and
- 23:42Speaker 4: talk through it, the more I like it.
- 23:45Speaker 5: And all right, so let me play Devil's advocate because
- 23:48Speaker 5: obviously we're gonna be biased in that because Kelvin was
- 23:50Speaker 5: our teammate. We saw him work every single day. We've
- 23:54Speaker 5: seen him at the NFL level.
- 23:55Speaker 4: We've talked to people he's coached, We've talked to people
- 23:57Speaker 4: that are currently on that staff that reached out to me,
- 24:01Speaker 4: and I didn't.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I didn't ask for it. They reached out to me
- 24:03Speaker 5: to kind of tell me how Kelvin's been.
- 24:07Speaker 4: We're fans of his because we're teammates, but what he's authentic.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Hell, you know where you stand with Shep, You know
- 24:12Speaker 5: you always did, you always have so okay, but let
- 24:15Speaker 5: me play Devil's advocate just for this. If if it happened,
- 24:21Speaker 5: you would get a first time head coach. You would
- 24:24Speaker 5: get somebody that's been in the NFL, not in college football.
- 24:30Speaker 5: What are some of the cons of that, and also
- 24:34Speaker 5: what would he have to surround himself with, Like what
- 24:37Speaker 5: kind of is it an elite offensive staff? Is it
- 24:40Speaker 5: almost like Jimbo used to be with us where Jimbo
- 24:43Speaker 5: we used to We used to say Jimbo was the
- 24:44Speaker 5: head coach of the offense because coach Saban was on
- 24:46Speaker 5: his field, must Champ was over there. It was Jimbo
- 24:50Speaker 5: on our field, and that was our head coach, you know,
- 24:53Speaker 5: because coach Saban let him coach the offense.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Would it be that situation?
- 24:58Speaker 4: So the worry would be Kelvin Shepherd is a first
- 25:03Speaker 4: time he's been a one year coordinator. This would be
- 25:06Speaker 4: a first time coaching job. And like, oh, well, first
- 25:08Speaker 4: time coaching, this is LSU. We got all the resources
- 25:11Speaker 4: in the world. We can go do this. We can
- 25:12Speaker 4: do that. Well, if you know who Kelvin Shepherd is
- 25:15Speaker 4: and what he stands for, he is a first year
- 25:19Speaker 4: he would be a first year head coach. He has
- 25:21Speaker 4: been a defensive coutter. So what does that mean? You
- 25:23Speaker 4: probably don't have to put him a ten year contract
- 25:25Speaker 4: to start with. Yeah, so, and you are LSU, you
- 25:29Speaker 4: have all the resources to do that. So surround him
- 25:32Speaker 4: with as many resources that it takes to make his
- 25:36Speaker 4: first year.
- 25:36Speaker 1: As a head coach better.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Yeah, of course he's gonna have to surround himself with
- 25:40Speaker 4: a with a badass offensive staff. Yeah for sure. Maybe
- 25:45Speaker 4: maybe I talked about it last week. A guy that
- 25:47Speaker 4: is in charge of game time decisions and special situations,
- 25:52Speaker 4: clock management, things like that that is not unheard of.
- 25:55Speaker 4: It might be unheard of because you know, people might
- 25:57Speaker 4: think that the head coach is like the end all
- 26:00Speaker 4: be all when it comes to clock management. But most
- 26:02Speaker 4: head coaches have somebody in their ears saying, we got
- 26:04Speaker 4: to if we don't get it here, we gotta spike it,
- 26:06Speaker 4: or we got to clock, we gotta clock it, we
- 26:08Speaker 4: got to call time out. Like there's a person that
- 26:10Speaker 4: is dedicated and it makes sense, right, especially if you
- 26:12Speaker 4: have a play calling head coach, whether it's the offense
- 26:16Speaker 4: or defense, like they're focused all week on the game plan. Yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 4: there's somebody dedicated to clock management and game management throughout
- 26:25Speaker 4: the game. Like it makes sense that you have one
- 26:27Speaker 4: person dedicated to that. So if you don't already hire
- 26:30Speaker 4: that person, like, there are a formulances you could be
- 26:33Speaker 4: even a former head coach at some level that is
- 26:36Speaker 4: out of the game and you want to make him
- 26:37Speaker 4: an ant. So if you've got a guy that you
- 26:39Speaker 4: know loves lsu is genuine knows how to speak to
- 26:43Speaker 4: a group of men, get the best out of them,
- 26:46Speaker 4: and you got to get that you feel that can
- 26:48Speaker 4: right the ship, steady the ship right now and some
- 26:52Speaker 4: tumultuous waters, uh, that can hold on to your good
- 26:57Speaker 4: people that are in that building that deserve to be there. Yeah,
- 27:01Speaker 4: you hold on to recruits, hold on to current players,
- 27:04Speaker 4: and can announce that he's coming like asap. You find
- 27:09Speaker 4: the other people. I don't care, and you can probably
- 27:10Speaker 4: get him. I'm not gonna I don't want to say
- 27:12Speaker 4: discount rate because that that is belittling towards him, right,
- 27:15Speaker 4: but like a guy that he's not And it's like
- 27:17Speaker 4: you don't have to get into contract negotiations like you
- 27:19Speaker 4: would with Elane Kiffin. You got that situation playing out.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I like every piece of that puzzle that we just
- 27:26Speaker 4: we just talked about, there's not I haven't found the
- 27:28Speaker 4: negative in all that now. And look, I'll say this too,
- 27:34Speaker 4: and he's been with Dan Campbell for a handful of years.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he made the Lions relevant exactly with what
- 27:41Speaker 4: he never done at any table.
- 27:42Speaker 5: Yes, and all those all those people that when he
- 27:45Speaker 5: had his press commerce he's like, we're gonna bite knee
- 27:47Speaker 5: caps and they were here on this station.
- 27:49Speaker 6: I was like, why do y'all hate that? But that
- 27:51Speaker 6: man is different.
- 27:52Speaker 5: That man is showing you that he's going to do
- 27:54Speaker 5: whatever it takes for the Detroit Lions to be relevant.
- 27:58Speaker 5: They had never been relevant. They have done things under
- 28:00Speaker 5: Dan Campbell they've never done in franchise history. And then
- 28:03Speaker 5: one of the oldest franchises. Okay, because the game has changed,
- 28:07Speaker 5: you don't have to have the things that have always
- 28:10Speaker 5: been there to be a successful head coach. I'm not
- 28:13Speaker 5: saying it can't work that way, but if you take
- 28:15Speaker 5: a look at how the game has changed in the
- 28:17Speaker 5: NFL and in college football, it's a different coach that
- 28:21Speaker 5: you're looking for, and regardless of what their resume says.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Regardless because James Franklin's got a great resume. Brian Kelly's
- 28:30Speaker 5: got a great resume. Dabo Sweeney right now has a
- 28:33Speaker 5: great resume. But the game's passed like Dabo like for
- 28:37Speaker 5: what he's done and how he's always done it. You
- 28:39Speaker 5: can't do it those ways anymore and expect to be elite.
- 28:43Speaker 5: You just can't. They just lost another game to Duke.
- 28:46Speaker 5: He just got fined ten thousand dollars for complaining about
- 28:49Speaker 5: the officials. Okay, it's down bad right now at that place.
- 28:53Speaker 5: But the resume is incredible. You can't deny the resume costs.
- 28:57Speaker 5: Football isn't like just resume may base anymore. You have
- 29:02Speaker 5: to have a connection to the players like you've never
- 29:06Speaker 5: had before. You've got to have a connection to the
- 29:07Speaker 5: recruits like you've never had before. You have to be
- 29:11Speaker 5: willing to sacrifice everything. Like you can't just get by
- 29:15Speaker 5: on talent alone anymore, because well, the talent has dispersed
- 29:19Speaker 5: amongst a lot of different teams.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Now.
- 29:22Speaker 6: You don't hoard talent like you once did. You can't.
- 29:25Speaker 5: You can't do that anymore. Okay, so you have to coach.
- 29:30Speaker 5: You've got to be in the building. You have to
- 29:32Speaker 5: grind like you're a GA when you're the head coach. Now,
- 29:36Speaker 5: it has to be that type of situation, and the
- 29:39Speaker 5: thing is, not everybody's built for that anymore. So the
- 29:43Speaker 5: guys that have done it their way for twenty thirty
- 29:45Speaker 5: years and created an incredible resume, it's not that they're
- 29:49Speaker 5: bad football coaches. They're good football coaches, but the way
- 29:52Speaker 5: that they've always done it isn't working anymore, and they're
- 29:55Speaker 5: reluctant to give themselves over to the way that it
- 29:58Speaker 5: works now. So when you hear a name that's never
- 30:02Speaker 5: been a head coach, I understand that. I get why
- 30:06Speaker 5: you would be like, are we sure? But when the
- 30:09Speaker 5: game has changed as much as it has, you have
- 30:11Speaker 5: to take a look at the totality of the situation
- 30:14Speaker 5: and understand there's things now that a head coach has
- 30:18Speaker 5: to have that he didn't necessarily have to have before.
- 30:22Speaker 5: So for me, you just had the resume. You just
- 30:27Speaker 5: had the guy that I think we all felt like
- 30:29Speaker 5: was going to be a home run. You had the
- 30:31Speaker 5: guy that if you could go out there and hand
- 30:33Speaker 5: pick it five years ago, he'd have been on the
- 30:35Speaker 5: short list. But now you don't look for that guy
- 30:40Speaker 5: necessarily anymore. You got to look for something a little
- 30:43Speaker 5: bit different. I think some of the people were talking about,
- 30:46Speaker 5: like a Kelvin Shepherd is a little bit different.
- 30:49Speaker 4: One thing's clear, and there's one objective for this new
- 30:51Speaker 4: head coach, whoever it is. And we just talked about
- 30:54Speaker 4: Kelvin Shepard, and we know he could do this. Now,
- 30:56Speaker 4: how he operates as a head coach who knows nobody
- 31:01Speaker 4: knows because he's never done it, but you could surround him.
- 31:03Speaker 4: You talk about LSU has all the resources do whatever.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Birge just said Friday's press conference that they asked him
- 31:10Speaker 4: about money, they have to ask him about budget. He said,
- 31:11Speaker 4: my job to find the best coach. Well, one objective
- 31:16Speaker 4: is clear, as you have to reset the standard here
- 31:21Speaker 4: at LSU. Back to what the standard is that we
- 31:24Speaker 4: all expect from a fan base, as LSU fans, as
- 31:26Speaker 4: former players is, as people here on this radio say,
- 31:29Speaker 4: anybody listen, the standard has to be reset. And like
- 31:33Speaker 4: Jake just said, we just hired. We just fired a
- 31:36Speaker 4: guy that was hired based on resume, So you got
- 31:39Speaker 4: to look a little bit deeper. It's a little bit
- 31:41Speaker 4: different hiring process than it always has been. So whatever
- 31:44Speaker 4: it is, whoever comes in here, has to absolutely go
- 31:47Speaker 4: back and reset the standard of LSU football.
- 31:52Speaker 5: And do you have an opportunity right now? Completely clean slate,
- 31:57Speaker 5: I mean president, a d head coach, get in that
- 32:02Speaker 5: old alignment that we hear about, that we talk about,
- 32:07Speaker 5: and go change the narrative, Go change the vibe.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Uh and NFL teams are off on Tuesdays, so tomorrow
- 32:17Speaker 4: you should call him, give them called night. Yeah, you
- 32:22Speaker 4: know the game plans for a little bit. Just give
- 32:23Speaker 4: me a call and he sliding his d ms have
- 32:26Speaker 4: a conversation. Yeah, you just had a real old there bo.
- 32:30Speaker 5: All right, we'll take a break more OTV when we
- 32:33Speaker 5: come back here live from the raising Kine studio.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Off the bench.
- 32:45Speaker 1: And the weirs to wise.
- 32:49Speaker 7: All these things.
- 32:56Speaker 3: From the locker room to the airwaves. Gets off the
- 32:58Speaker 3: bench with Jacob hes there and Matt Flynn.
- 33:13Speaker 6: Now we're cooking with gas moves.
- 33:16Speaker 7: So this is a Taylor Sharp request.
- 33:18Speaker 6: Oh well done about well Collins?
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I did the whole tarzan, Yeah, the whole thing.
- 33:24Speaker 4: All right, Come on, that's all make guys.
- 33:26Speaker 5: Come on, that's a rookie move by a veteran player there, Bud,
- 33:30Speaker 5: Come on, man, do you even Disney bro.
- 33:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't. I don't Tarzan much good film? What
- 33:40Speaker 4: that's fine? Great?
- 33:41Speaker 1: I love I love.
- 33:42Speaker 6: Fine this guy. He only plays the hits. Oh, Frozen,
- 33:47Speaker 6: it's great.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I just don't associate like the Collins move.
- 33:50Speaker 6: He did the whole soundtrack, the whole thing.
- 33:52Speaker 4: So I didn't know that.
- 33:54Speaker 8: We'll get you some more Tarzan here flying in the
- 33:56Speaker 8: next and the next hour and twenty minutes.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't need it. You do? You do well?
- 34:00Speaker 2: That's probably the best Disney soundtrack, Phil stick to the air.
- 34:06Speaker 5: If you disrespect Phil Collins on this show, I'll ask
- 34:08Speaker 5: you to kindly leave. I don't have to our genesis
- 34:12Speaker 5: either one.
- 34:15Speaker 4: That's a good book.
- 34:17Speaker 6: No, he's it's the band that he was in before
- 34:19Speaker 6: he became just Phil Collins. You didn't just learn that today,
- 34:24Speaker 6: did you?
- 34:25Speaker 4: I did. No. I knew that. Relax everyone relaxed, not
- 34:29Speaker 4: the breaks. We're good.
- 34:37Speaker 6: I need to take a quick breather.
- 34:38Speaker 5: And while I'm doing that, Gordon McKernin injury attorneys, Get
- 34:41Speaker 5: Gordon and get it done. It is your area code
- 34:44Speaker 5: in Louisiana, follow about eighty eight eighty eight eighty eight.
- 34:47Speaker 5: It doesn't matter where you're at in Louisiana. You can
- 34:49Speaker 5: be in Shreveport, Monroe, Home, a New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette,
- 34:54Speaker 5: or give me a random city somebody Laro's perfect moves.
- 34:59Speaker 5: I'm gonna make you give me a random city in Louisiana.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Basking Yep, there too, Matthew Slaughter, Yep, doesn't matter.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Where you're at.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Put that area code fall about eight eight eighty eight
- 35:09Speaker 5: eighty eight, good Gordon, and get it done. Some good
- 35:14Speaker 5: cities there, guys. What we got to come back to
- 35:20Speaker 5: Phil Collins conversation.
- 35:21Speaker 1: We'll move on now that.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Like Slaughter Louisiana was there like a slaughterhouse there at
- 35:26Speaker 4: one point. I don't know why they call it an
- 35:29Speaker 4: aggressive name.
- 35:29Speaker 1: It's in the middle of nowhere.
- 35:31Speaker 4: If you've ever been, Yeah, it's got grit. It does great.
- 35:35Speaker 8: I mean if we sat here and debated, like why
- 35:38Speaker 8: Louisiana cities are named what they are, it'd be along
- 35:42Speaker 8: like slaughters.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Yeah, like object we can all agree. It's pretty aggressive there.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Sure, there's a Hester, Louisiana.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Yeah there is.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a sharp Louisiana.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Okay is Hester Hester.
- 35:55Speaker 8: Is Hester Louisiana In three one eighth would that just
- 35:58Speaker 8: be too perfect?
- 35:59Speaker 4: Can we not? Actually?
- 36:00Speaker 6: I'd be two two five.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Let me see near, like Saint James. There's some mud
- 36:05Speaker 1: to find out, guys.
- 36:06Speaker 5: Yeah, Saint James fish. Yeah, and it almost worked. It
- 36:11Speaker 5: almost worked. Alms that would have been epic. It almost worked.
- 36:14Speaker 5: And when I say it is tiny, it is tiny,
- 36:17Speaker 5: but it's okay. Population Hester, Louisiana four.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Hundred and ninety eight.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Thanks, not bad, not bad. Something in the chat saying
- 36:28Speaker 4: Phil Collins has Phil Collins has a huge display at
- 36:31Speaker 4: the Alamo. Why does that make sense? Huh, it's not
- 36:38Speaker 4: how I remember my Alamo?
- 36:44Speaker 6: How do you remember your album?
- 36:45Speaker 4: Ode? Then, David Crockett James.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Is that something like growing up? Is that something like
- 36:51Speaker 5: growing up in Texas? Like that's who you learn about first?
- 36:55Speaker 5: So you switch every third year. So one year you
- 36:57Speaker 5: do American history. Oh no, one year you do World history,
- 37:01Speaker 5: next year you do American history. Then the next year
- 37:04Speaker 5: you do Texas history. Then it just kind of repeats
- 37:07Speaker 5: like that through your first nine grades.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I think from my third through twelve something
- 37:12Speaker 4: like that. I can't remember. Serious.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I think I take.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Louisian history eighth grade.
- 37:19Speaker 7: I think I took it in seventh grade.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, seventh grade feels better. Yeah, yeah, said, you know,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I did.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I looked at we were we were World American Louisiana sixth, seventh, eighth,
- 37:32Speaker 2: we were world first. We were World American Louisiana.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I at least had two years of it.
- 37:39Speaker 4: It's a big state. It's big state.
- 37:42Speaker 6: You're really proud of yourselves too, So.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Yes, I want to be proud of Yeah.
- 37:46Speaker 8: According to a I uh, Phil Collins is one of
- 37:49Speaker 8: the world's largest collectors of Alamo memorabilia, and it is
- 37:53Speaker 8: and his his collection is on display what at the
- 37:57Speaker 8: aland Rest.
- 37:58Speaker 1: He's not even from here?
- 38:00Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I got really caught up in the album.
- 38:03Speaker 4: From San Antonio, like Big Baby Crow it.
- 38:06Speaker 8: Says it says he was inspired as a child by
- 38:09Speaker 8: a Disney show.
- 38:10Speaker 7: I guess there's a Disney show about the Alama, Okay, and.
- 38:13Speaker 2: It may have been like a Davy Crockett thing or yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 2: all right, don't try to watch that on YouTube TV later.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Let's go to Disney Plus for that, Bud. I can't.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I can't watch anything I have Disney Plus.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You can't know.
- 38:28Speaker 4: I'm sorry. ESPN Plus. I can't watch it, Okay, I
- 38:32Speaker 4: can do Disney JOHNA.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Phil Collins whould have guessed?
- 38:37Speaker 4: Who would have guessed? Not me? Big Alamo collector. I
- 38:41Speaker 4: wonder what all kind of I bet there's I never
- 38:43Speaker 4: thought about that. I've been collecting cards too much. I
- 38:46Speaker 4: forgot about the album.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yeah, me too.
- 38:47Speaker 6: We should really get into uh Alamo collections.
- 38:51Speaker 4: That would be sick.
- 38:52Speaker 6: We talked about this the other day.
- 38:54Speaker 5: Remember we said, like, if you could have one piece
- 38:56Speaker 5: of memorabilia, like, what would it be? I went with
- 38:58Speaker 5: a Mike Allstar game, used neck roll or anything from
- 39:02Speaker 5: Jim Taylor. You went with what would you go with?
- 39:05Speaker 5: We were at Pro Dreams I think when we did it,
- 39:07Speaker 5: Uh Taylor, did you answer on air?
- 39:09Speaker 1: What you like?
- 39:09Speaker 5: You're one piece of memorabilia? If you could have one
- 39:12Speaker 5: piece of sports memorabilia.
- 39:13Speaker 4: What it would be? Oh?
- 39:15Speaker 1: Man, I don't even know.
- 39:16Speaker 4: It's a great answer, Taylor Moose, I got a fit, dude.
- 39:20Speaker 4: You got a lot of options with the Red Sox.
- 39:23Speaker 7: Yeah, well that's actually where I was gonna go is
- 39:24Speaker 7: with Boston.
- 39:25Speaker 8: I'd probably I'd probably go game used Ted Williams bat.
- 39:28Speaker 7: That'd be pretty sick.
- 39:29Speaker 6: I thought, you know where I thought you were going
- 39:30Speaker 6: to go bloody sock.
- 39:33Speaker 7: Yeah, not sanitary, but yeah, I mean that that'd be cool.
- 39:36Speaker 5: I mean you have the bloody used memorability to be
- 39:39Speaker 5: watched that it's true bloody sock with if you watch it,
- 39:43Speaker 5: that'd be good.
- 39:44Speaker 8: I mean something from Pedro would be cool too, but yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 8: the shilling sock would be awesome.
- 39:48Speaker 5: Maybe the Pedro warm up jacket he had on when
- 39:51Speaker 5: he threw Don Zimmer that good.
- 39:54Speaker 7: I wonder how much that would go. Actually, bro, yeah
- 39:56Speaker 7: like that.
- 39:57Speaker 5: I have seen, uh the curse uster bat. Jack Rouchie
- 40:03Speaker 5: has it in his office still, just like hanging out.
- 40:05Speaker 5: If you auction that bad off.
- 40:08Speaker 4: There's no telling what you would get.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I mean it's like.
- 40:12Speaker 5: It's been there for ever since, like it happened. Jack's
- 40:15Speaker 5: had it in his office.
- 40:18Speaker 4: What about a taxi dermid Randy Johnson exploding bird.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Well, there's not a lot of pieces left. Yes, you'd
- 40:27Speaker 5: have to really still had a little. Maybe it might
- 40:31Speaker 5: have been crushed.
- 40:32Speaker 4: This in the rock though it's not like he vaporized.
- 40:34Speaker 7: About the did What about the ball that hit the bird?
- 40:37Speaker 5: Yea? Or just some feathers, some feathers feathers, yeah.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Tylor talking about the Halloween Nightball. That's the one I said,
- 40:47Speaker 4: Halloween Night Ball.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Yeah or whatever.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Yeah, you pretty much just put Burglars on Warren's house now,
- 40:55Speaker 5: but say where it was?
- 40:56Speaker 4: Yeah, well you can find out.
- 40:57Speaker 6: Was probably the album record, So come on, you've had
- 41:01Speaker 6: five minutes.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:02Speaker 2: For fellow Shoe, I'd probably go, uh, it could be
- 41:06Speaker 2: anything the borough jersey spelled let go that he wore
- 41:09Speaker 2: coming out of the tunnel. I think I think they'd
- 41:12Speaker 2: be worth a good amount because like he technically only
- 41:14Speaker 2: wore it for what ten minutes?
- 41:16Speaker 1: If they wear it in a game.
- 41:17Speaker 5: I remember being in a locker him trying to change
- 41:19Speaker 5: in and out of that was pretty funny.
- 41:21Speaker 7: Probably that nothing Cowboys I'm talking about.
- 41:24Speaker 5: For you though, I'm not talking about like I'm talking
- 41:26Speaker 5: about like like a neck roll from Mike Allstars. Not
- 41:30Speaker 5: that valuable now to me, it's priceless.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Something for Peyton Manning.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I mean, man Manning's my probably my favorite football player
- 41:38Speaker 2: of all time.
- 41:38Speaker 6: So what would be valuable from Peyton Manning?
- 41:44Speaker 5: What about the ball he hit the little kids with
- 41:46Speaker 5: and Saturday Night Lives get So good?
- 41:49Speaker 4: Be awesome?
- 41:50Speaker 1: Something something from his.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Final Super Bowl. It would be something from there like
- 41:53Speaker 2: the game Warren Broncos.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Screw the broncos Man so Phil Collins part of his
- 41:59Speaker 4: collection and as a rifle and fringed leather pouch owned

- 42:25Speaker 5: name a sword once belonging to Jim Bowie. I would think,

- 42:31Speaker 5: pretty cool, Yeah, pretty good. M letter written by Steven F.
- 42:39Speaker 5: Austin Sam Houston snuffbox.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Sweep.

- 42:49Speaker 5: Austin Nola used to put a ball over the left
- 42:51Speaker 5: field scoreboard back.
- 42:52Speaker 4: In O eight.

- 42:56Speaker 8: The orange stealth did some damage back in the day,
- 43:00Speaker 8: I knew Moose would appreciate that one.
- 43:02Speaker 7: That's good.
- 43:03Speaker 1: That's good.
- 43:04Speaker 5: Oh, William Anthony went the best answer for a Peyton situation.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Probably here the ball that he threw to Tracy Porter
- 43:13Speaker 5: for the pick six.
