- 1:01Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I have a
- 1:04Speaker 2: great juicy episode for you. I can't wait to get
- 1:06Speaker 2: into it. Here are some of the crazy things that
- 1:09Speaker 2: happened over the weekend that are light and pop culture related.
- 1:12Speaker 2: So we're going to take a break. We're just going
- 1:14Speaker 2: to get into juicy pop culture stuff for you. Everybody
- 1:20Speaker 2: thought that Jim Carrey was not Jim Carrey. He won
- 1:25Speaker 2: an award. He accepted it in French and he appeared
- 1:30Speaker 2: to look very different. His voice was very different. So
- 1:34Speaker 2: several videos were made. One video they zoomed in and
- 1:38Speaker 2: his brown eyes, which have always been brown, appeared to
- 1:42Speaker 2: be like a light green blue. which made me think
- 1:45Speaker 2: even if he got a facelift, it's still swollen, which
- 1:48Speaker 2: is what I initially thought. I thought it's him with
- 1:50Speaker 2: a swollen facelift. I thought, why would he change his
- 1:54Speaker 2: eye color? Then I saw another video, which was the
- 1:56Speaker 2: swollen face, possibly bad facelift, but it still had brown eyes.
- 2:02Speaker 2: So I'm like, did the original person that did that
- 2:04Speaker 2: video just throw in the different colored eyes? It's so
- 2:07Speaker 2: weird to know what's real or not. And the reason
- 2:10Speaker 2: you're like, well, why would it not be him? Heather,
- 2:12Speaker 2: why would there be a clone? Well, because in following
- 2:16Speaker 2: all this crazy stuff, it was Jim Carrey who, upon
- 2:20Speaker 2: accepting a different award, mentioned trafficking and killing of children.
- 2:25Speaker 2: He also brought up the Illuminati sign with Jimmy Kimmel,
- 2:30Speaker 2: where the audience was just laughing, thinking that he was
- 2:33Speaker 2: mocking kind of the ridiculousness of the conspiracy theories around
- 2:37Speaker 2: the Illuminati and the triangle and all of that. Other
- 2:41Speaker 2: people feel like he was the one truth teller. There's
- 2:44Speaker 2: also videos of when he was with Jenny McCarthy in
- 2:47Speaker 2: which he was very much against immunization and vaccines for babies.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And they believe that had a correlation to her child
- 2:54Speaker 2: who has autism. So they're like, the Illuminati has gotten him. Okay.
- 3:00Speaker 2: A lot of people like me were like, I think
- 3:03Speaker 2: it could still just be a facelift. Then they said
- 3:07Speaker 2: he's left-handed and they show him this guy coming out,
- 3:10Speaker 2: signing autographs with the right hand, not the left hand.
- 3:15Speaker 2: In the comments, someone would say, well, I'm left-handed and
- 3:17Speaker 2: sometimes if I don't care about something, I'll sign it
- 3:19Speaker 2: with my other hand and I don't care. Okay, fine.
- 3:22Speaker 2: TMZ now reported, this publicist said, it is him. There's
- 3:27Speaker 2: also a very famous makeup artist named Alexis Stone who
- 3:32Speaker 2: does full masks and makeups and has done everything from
- 3:36Speaker 2: her being Glenn Close, he being Glenn Close in The
- 3:41Speaker 2: Dalmatians to Kim Kardashian. And he just does incredible stuff.
- 3:45Speaker 2: You should just follow him. He's just an incredible artist.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And he had done Jim Carrey once. So then they thought,
- 3:51Speaker 2: is it Alexis Stone being Jim Carrey? Who knows? The
- 3:56Speaker 2: other thought is when he played Andy Kaufman, the incredible
- 3:59Speaker 2: comedian that kind of played a character his whole life,
- 4:01Speaker 2: and then Andy Kaufman died. We didn't know if he
- 4:03Speaker 2: was really dead or not. or if it was all
- 4:05Speaker 2: just a long elaborate like prank or hoax, is Jim
- 4:10Speaker 2: Carrey doing some type of role and he wanted to
- 4:14Speaker 2: just play this live prank out for us where maybe
- 4:19Speaker 2: someone with his blessing was him or it was him,
- 4:22Speaker 2: Jim Carrey, with some type of mask or prosthetics and
- 4:27Speaker 2: he was out there and now he's back looking like
- 4:29Speaker 2: normal Jim Carrey. So that was, that took up people's weekends. Okay.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Then there was the SAG Awards, which Kristen Bell was
- 4:37Speaker 2: the host. Her husband, Dak Shepard, a lot of people
- 4:42Speaker 2: that enjoy his podcast and have kind of studied their
- 4:46Speaker 2: relationship when she's been on the show, have questioned their
- 4:51Speaker 2: unique relationship and marriage. And he did not go to
- 4:56Speaker 2: see his wife host the SAG Awards, because according to TMZ,
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's now come out that he had a colonoscopy planned
- 5:07Speaker 2: and therefore couldn't go. Now, he's a Hollywood star. You
- 5:12Speaker 2: can reschedule those things. You could probably have someone come
- 5:15Speaker 2: to your house and do it for you. I don't
- 5:17Speaker 2: even know, but not a great excuse. He recently said
- 5:21Speaker 2: about Valentine's Day that he only celebrated his mother and
- 5:26Speaker 2: daughter's and gave them gifts and flowers and didn't his wife.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I don't know why you would be doing this unless
- 5:34Speaker 2: they're playing us too. Like maybe they're like, let's have
- 5:37Speaker 2: fun with the audience like Jim Carrey and make them
- 5:40Speaker 2: think I'm a bigger asshole than they could even believe
- 5:43Speaker 2: by not supporting my wife when she hosts a major thing.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Maybe Kristen Bell didn't want him there. Maybe he makes
- 5:51Speaker 2: her nervous or stresses her out when she's on stage.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I can understand that. So I think maybe it was
- 5:57Speaker 2: her wishing that she didn't want him to go. And
- 5:59Speaker 2: he's like, I'll just say I have a medical procedure
- 6:03Speaker 2: the next day or something just so there's like no
- 6:04Speaker 2: heat on us. But the truth is I make you nervous.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I stress you out. So I'm going to sit back
- 6:10Speaker 2: and not be there so that you can actually have
- 6:12Speaker 2: a more relaxing experience hosting it. So the fashions were
- 6:18Speaker 2: really good. I thought Kristen Wiig looked the sexiest. If
- 6:22Speaker 2: you've if you could pull off a dress like this, um,
- 6:27Speaker 2: you know, especially on the red carpet, because when she
- 6:29Speaker 2: turns to the side and you see like the side
- 6:32Speaker 2: tit and the cute little butt, and she's very thin
- 6:35Speaker 2: and worked out, she's always had a great body. Her
- 6:37Speaker 2: hair looks great. She does. She looked really, really good.
- 6:41Speaker 2: So it was just a great look for her. And
- 6:44Speaker 2: I think this look of a dress is really chic. Um,
- 6:48Speaker 2: Michael B. Jordan won for The Sinners, and they also
- 6:51Speaker 2: honored Rob Reiner, Catherine O'Hara, and Dinah Keaton, who have passed.
- 6:58Speaker 2: But people were, once again, very shocked by Kelly Osbourne,
- 7:06Speaker 2: who accepted an award with her mother honoring their father,
- 7:09Speaker 2: and just how different she looks, extremely different she looks. Also,
- 7:14Speaker 2: Demi Moore was on the red carpet, and some people
- 7:17Speaker 2: were um, alarmed about how thin the chi looks and
- 7:22Speaker 2: people are a lot, uh, a lot thinner today. And
- 7:26Speaker 2: it's crazy that, you know, it was only about four
- 7:29Speaker 2: years ago where everybody was, you know, really pushing and
- 7:33Speaker 2: embracing and talking about there. No one's ever looked better,
- 7:36Speaker 2: you know, in this, in our curvy bodies to now
- 7:40Speaker 2: the complete opposite. I mean, now it must've been the
- 7:42Speaker 2: shortest movement of quote unquote body positivity that ever lived
- 7:47Speaker 2: in the history. Like it's just like It's like trends
- 7:49Speaker 2: are happening so quickly. They're like over before they start.
- 7:52Speaker 2: But anyway, that was a lot of discussion, um, as
- 7:56Speaker 2: well as people thinking other people look good. I'll be honest.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I didn't watch the show. I don't think award shows
- 8:02Speaker 2: are that entertaining, but I do like looking at the
- 8:04Speaker 2: photos and there were some good ones. Um, okay. So
- 8:08Speaker 2: now I really am excited to tell you guys this
- 8:11Speaker 2: interview is with Lisa Renna and I, I hearing so
- 8:15Speaker 2: much about her and the excitement around her book and
- 8:19Speaker 2: traders and knowing her for so long, I was like,
- 8:24Speaker 2: kept trying to remember the interview that I did with her.
- 8:27Speaker 2: And so we pulled it up. I listened to it.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It's from 2017. I'm like, this is so good. It's
- 8:33Speaker 2: so juicy. It's so fun. And being that it was,
- 8:37Speaker 2: you know, nine years ago, almost, it's really kind of
- 8:40Speaker 2: interesting to listen to Because we know what happened after
- 8:44Speaker 2: and where she is, but we get into her life
- 8:47Speaker 2: and her marriage with Harry Hamlin and some of the
- 8:50Speaker 2: things that I'm seeing are in headlines like, Lisa Renna
- 8:54Speaker 2: finally discusses this, you know, finally discusses that. I'm like, oh, no,
- 8:57Speaker 2: she said it in my interview podcast in 2017. So
- 9:03Speaker 2: you guys are going to love it. I was there
- 9:05Speaker 2: and I loved hearing it back. And if you're watching
- 9:08Speaker 2: this on YouTube... We did not film for YouTube back
- 9:13Speaker 2: in 2017, but we did pull up a lot of
- 9:15Speaker 2: great photos in reference to what we're talking about. So
- 9:19Speaker 2: that's going to be really fun to watch on YouTube
- 9:21Speaker 2: and see all the great housewife scenes and her different
- 9:25Speaker 2: looks and things throughout the years. And so here we
- 9:28Speaker 2: go with a great interview from the Juicy Scoop archives
- 9:32Speaker 2: with Lisa Rinna.
- 9:35Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 9:37Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 9:43Speaker 4: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You deserve a treat.
- 9:54Speaker 4: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 9:56Speaker 4: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 10:05Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 10:08Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 10:11Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 10:16Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 10:24Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 10:25Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 10:27Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 10:30Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 10:32Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved? He said,
- 10:35Speaker 5: I have a work dad. I need a home dad.
- 10:37Speaker 2: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 10:44Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 10:47Speaker 5: happens next.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 10:51Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 10:55Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 10:57Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 11:00Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 11:13Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Did you just say let's talk about the husband? Let's
- 11:15Speaker 3: not talk about what you don't want to help.
- 11:20Speaker 2: You know what? Let me tell you something.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Don't touch my husband ever.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Just saying.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Don't you ever. You don't want out for everybody to know.
- 11:31Speaker 4: You better watch what you talk about me.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Or everybody will know.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Everybody will know. Everybody will know. You understand that?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Everybody will know.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Everybody will know what you don't watch.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 11:48Speaker 6: Super excited.
- 11:50Speaker 2: To have the most fun Real Housewife of Beverly Hills,
- 11:54Speaker 2: Lisa Rinna.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Hi.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Hi, Heather. And we've known each other for a long time.
- 12:00Speaker 3: We have. So long.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 12:01Speaker 6: I just remember the first time we did anything together.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Tell me, because I can't even remember, of course.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Okay. Let me think about what year this was. I
- 12:09Speaker 2: want to say it was like 2006, 2005, maybe.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Okay.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Oh, my God. It was so long ago.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Anyway, it was very long ago.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I'll know it when you tell me. Okay.
- 12:19Speaker 2: We taped a little thing in Jillian Barbary Reynolds' guest house.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Yes, we did. I totally forgot about that.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Was it like a little pilot or what was it?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Well, basically, it was really funny because my friend Liz Roman. Liz, yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
- 12:36Speaker 2: So she and I have been friends since first grade.
- 12:39Speaker 2: She was really good friends with Jillian. I became friends
- 12:42Speaker 2: with Jillian. And when Jillian was doing the Fox morning show,
- 12:45Speaker 2: she had all these fabulous friends and And then a
- 12:48Speaker 2: couple of times she invited me to dinner and I'm like, God,
- 12:50Speaker 2: this is like the juiciest scoops of these fat from...
- 12:52Speaker 2: Fashion designers to actresses to everything. And so we were like,
- 12:56Speaker 2: why don't we do what we call it Girls' Night In.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And we filmed the thing in her house. We had
- 13:00Speaker 2: like different groups of people. We had Chelsea come was
- 13:02Speaker 2: one of them.
- 13:03Speaker 3: You're kidding.
- 13:04Speaker 2: No. And then I see Chelsea and I'm like, if
- 13:06Speaker 2: you ever need a writer for your show.
- 13:08Speaker 3: You're not kidding.
- 13:10Speaker 7: Really?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Yeah, because I didn't really know her.
- 13:11Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was right before the E!
- 13:15Speaker 3: Show.
- 13:15Speaker 2: But she had this other smaller show that was once
- 13:17Speaker 2: a week. And so then when she got the bigger show,
- 13:20Speaker 2: I was like, you know, and then this thing just
- 13:22Speaker 2: didn't go. We didn't have like a production team behind
- 13:24Speaker 2: us or anything. We were just kind of doing it.
- 13:25Speaker 2: But I remember we were funny. But it was really,
- 13:27Speaker 2: it was really fun. But I just remembered you told
- 13:32Speaker 2: a real juicy ass story. Did I?
- 13:35Speaker 3: How can I not remember? This is what happens when
- 13:36Speaker 3: you go past 50. You cannot remember anything.
- 13:40Speaker 2: You told a story. Oh, God. Because we wanted to
- 13:43Speaker 2: make it fun, but we also wanted to make it
- 13:45Speaker 2: like exactly what my show is right now. It's like funny,
- 13:47Speaker 2: but it's also super juicy. It can be like, and
- 13:50Speaker 2: this was a super juicy story. Your mother was attacked.
- 13:56Speaker 2: She was kidnapped and attacked.
- 13:57Speaker 3: She was.
- 13:58Speaker 2: And that's the story. You told that story.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I told that story?
- 14:00Speaker 6: While on the table drinking.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Good Lord. Good Lord.
- 14:04Speaker 3: She was, yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And someone threw, like, hit her in the head.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Hit her in the head with a hammer. It was
- 14:09Speaker 3: someone she worked with.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Tell the story.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Okay, she was 30 years old. This is a cautionary
- 14:14Speaker 3: tale for anybody.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 3: 30 years old, worked with this guy, and she was waiting.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Where was she working at?
- 14:22Speaker 3: I can't remember that.
- 14:23Speaker 2: But like an office?
- 14:23Speaker 3: In San Francisco. In an office.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Like an office setting.
- 14:26Speaker 7: Okay.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yeah, so an office friend that she felt sorry for
- 14:29Speaker 3: because he stuttered. So she was at the bus stop
- 14:33Speaker 3: waiting to go to the dentist. And he came by
- 14:35Speaker 3: and he said, hi, Lois, and was stuttering, I guess,
- 14:38Speaker 3: when he was saying it. But he said, I'll take you.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Come in the car. I'll drive you. So again, she
- 14:44Speaker 3: didn't really go with her gut at the time. But
- 14:46Speaker 3: once she got in the car, her gut was like, hmm,
- 14:48Speaker 3: this doesn't really feel right. All of a sudden, he
- 14:51Speaker 3: stopped stuttering. He's talking to her, and he's not stuttering
- 14:53Speaker 3: at all. Long story short, they're in San Francisco. He
- 14:57Speaker 3: drives her down to Presidio, which is— Now.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Let me just ask a couple questions.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So she's 30.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Is she married to your dad yet?
- 15:03Speaker 3: But she's just started dating my dad, I want to say,
- 15:08Speaker 3: six weeks earlier.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:11Speaker 2: She just told this story.
- 15:11Speaker 3: She was just here, and she was talking about it.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And so how long had she known the co-worker, supposed stutterer?
- 15:18Speaker 5: Three years.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Three years.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Oh, really? Yeah. So do you think that he knew
- 15:22Speaker 2: that she was seeing someone and it was like making
- 15:24Speaker 2: him go crazy?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Well, he was married and had a baby at home.
- 15:27Speaker 3: And so when he picked her up, he said, I
- 15:29Speaker 3: want to take you by and show you the new
- 15:31Speaker 3: baby because my mom had met his wife. So wouldn't
- 15:34Speaker 3: you feel like you feel comfortable?
- 15:36Speaker 7: Right.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Like one of your like one of your guys out there.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Like he might be a serial killer. Who knows?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Oh, my God. You think that is with Ray? I mean,
- 15:43Speaker 2: I know him well enough. I mean, do you think
- 15:45Speaker 2: he has a baby? Okay.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Well, this is the story. And, you know, long story short,
- 15:52Speaker 3: he drove her down to the Presidio, which was deserted
- 15:55Speaker 3: at the time.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And he literally, I mean, he probably would have raped her,
- 15:59Speaker 3: but he didn't. He saw a military policeman saw them
- 16:03Speaker 3: go down this deserted road.
- 16:05Speaker 2: So when he's driving Erica down the deserted road, what
- 16:08Speaker 2: is he saying to her?
- 16:10Speaker 3: Um, he's saying he's not stuttering and she's like, David,
- 16:13Speaker 3: what's wrong with you? What's going on? This doesn't feel right.
- 16:16Speaker 3: And I was like, why didn't you jump out of
- 16:17Speaker 3: the car? You know, of course you, at that time
- 16:20Speaker 3: you freeze. Like she was just like, what's going on?
- 16:22Speaker 3: And he goes, I don't know, Lois, something funny comes
- 16:25Speaker 3: over me. And he's not stuttering at all. I mean,
- 16:27Speaker 3: it's a scary tale. It's a scary fucking tale. Um,
- 16:31Speaker 3: she probably would have raped her and killed her. But
- 16:33Speaker 3: what happened was, He saw the military police come down.
- 16:37Speaker 3: The military police saw them drive down this deserted road.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So he literally jumps on top of my mom, goes
- 16:42Speaker 3: at her with a knife.
- 16:44Speaker 6: Where was the knife?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Like behind, under the seat?
- 16:45Speaker 3: In the glove box. He grabs the knife out of
- 16:47Speaker 3: the glove box, goes at her with a knife. She
- 16:49Speaker 3: grabs it with her hand. I know this is so hard.
- 16:52Speaker 3: It's horrible. Cuts her, you know, two fingers here. So
- 16:57Speaker 3: this is all.
- 16:57Speaker 6: In the car, the front seat.
- 16:58Speaker 3: So he's straddling her.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Goes at her with a knife. She grabs it. And
- 17:02Speaker 3: then he gets in the back seat and grabs a hammer.
- 17:05Speaker 3: and starts hitting her over the head with a hammer.
- 17:08Speaker 3: This is a true story. The military police comes down.
- 17:12Speaker 3: My mom gets out of the car. Her head is like,
- 17:15Speaker 3: you know, bleeding. Her purse falls on the ground. She's
- 17:19Speaker 3: in total shock. And she says, all I remember doing
- 17:21Speaker 3: is putting things back in my purse, like thinking, Oh,
- 17:25Speaker 3: everything's fallen out of my purse. So she's in total shock.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 3: He gets out of the car. David Carpenter is his name.
- 17:30Speaker 3: He turns out to be a serial killer in the end. Um,
- 17:34Speaker 3: And he's on death row for two sentences of death.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Okay, wait. Let's finish the story and then I have
- 17:40Speaker 2: to ask you about that. Go. All right. So she's
- 17:42Speaker 2: in shock, but thank God the military police guy is there.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And the military police shoots David Carpenter in the stomach
- 17:47Speaker 3: but doesn't kill him. So then... They put my mom
- 17:52Speaker 3: in a car and they're going to put David in
- 17:54Speaker 3: the car with her. And she starts freaking out.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Of course.
- 17:56Speaker 2: They don't call an ambulance?
- 17:58Speaker 3: I think an ambulance comes, but I don't know the
- 18:00Speaker 3: exact story. But they're trying to put her in this
- 18:02Speaker 3: military police car, I think, to get her to the hospital.
- 18:05Speaker 3: So somehow she gets to the hospital. They shoot him,
- 18:10Speaker 3: but he doesn't die. Goes to prison, but gets out
- 18:13Speaker 3: on a plea six years later.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Saying what? Temporary insanity or something?
- 18:19Speaker 3: No, he made a plea deal somehow.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Was your mom scared when he got out?
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah, she probably was. But at that point, they'd moved
- 18:26Speaker 3: and lived in Newport Beach. And so he turned out
- 18:28Speaker 3: to be the Mount Tamalpais killer. And you can Google this.
- 18:32Speaker 6: So wait, he gets out six years later.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 6: And then he starts killing people in Mount Pius?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Mount Tamalpais.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Where's that?
- 18:39Speaker 6: In California?
- 18:39Speaker 3: It's in Mill Valley. Okay. So two different– there's like
- 18:42Speaker 3: two different sets of serial killings and then he's raped
- 18:46Speaker 3: a bunch of women.
- 18:47Speaker 6: All after your mother?
- 18:48Speaker 3: All after my mother. Before my mother, he had raped
- 18:51Speaker 3: two women. So during the sentencing phase for the death
- 18:56Speaker 3: penalty was when I.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Was– After the– how many people did he– Like 22.
- 19:01Speaker 5: 22.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Six years after he gets out, he kills 22 people.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Well, in a period of about— In the.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Mill Valley area.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Maybe 10, 15 years.
- 19:10Speaker 6: Women, all women.
- 19:11Speaker 2: And men.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Like couples, too.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 6: And where's his wife and baby?
- 19:17Speaker 3: At this point, I think they're divorced.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Well, I would think so. Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I think they're divorced. And so he turns out to
- 19:23Speaker 3: be this horrible serial killer. And so we go during
- 19:27Speaker 3: the sentencing phase. My mom has to testify.
- 19:29Speaker 7: Okay.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And there's three women that survived. So now it's like,
- 19:33Speaker 3: how many years after now? Well, I was probably 21.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Oh, so it's like 20, 30 years later. Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 3: 30 years ago.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. So he's... No, but it was 20, more
- 19:43Speaker 2: than 20 years after her incident.
- 19:45Speaker 3: And so she had to go back and see him
- 19:47Speaker 3: in the courtroom. And we were all there.
- 19:48Speaker 2: And it's really.
- 19:50Speaker 3: you know, I grew up with a lot of fear, obviously,
- 19:53Speaker 3: because my mom was so overprotective.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Imagine.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:57Speaker 3: You know, there was a lot of fear. So, you know,
- 20:00Speaker 3: obviously I've done quite a bit of therapy.
- 20:03Speaker 2: No, but I think when you have something happen to
- 20:06Speaker 2: you like that or even... To someone close to you.
- 20:10Speaker 2: It does affect your parenting.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I grew up with it. I grew up with
- 20:14Speaker 3: that kind of.
- 20:15Speaker 6: Kind of that it could happen.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 20:18Speaker 3: And so it's made me who I am and it
- 20:21Speaker 3: makes me very leery. You know, it makes me very protective.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Right.
- 20:25Speaker 3: And my boundaries go up quite quickly, I would say.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 20:31Speaker 6: Well, on that.
- 20:31Speaker 3: On that happy note.
- 20:33Speaker 6: But I just thought of that when you sat here.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I can't believe you didn't remember it. Because I started
- 20:36Speaker 2: to go back like. And then another time that I
- 20:38Speaker 2: talked to you was at Ross Matthews book party. And
- 20:42Speaker 2: that was a couple years before you were part of
- 20:46Speaker 2: the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But there
- 20:48Speaker 2: was rumors. And I said, are you going to do it?
- 20:51Speaker 2: And you're like, you know, I don't know, Heather. Harry
- 20:56Speaker 2: Hamlin is not opposed. I don't know.
- 21:01Speaker 6: And I was like, I think you.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Should do it.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I remember that. And I was like, I don't know.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:08Speaker 6: So I do believe I deserve a cut.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Well, there's not much to cut. I'll send you to
- 21:18Speaker 3: the spa.
- 21:18Speaker 2: I'll take the QVC cut. Apparently, Harry Hamlin never has
- 21:21Speaker 2: to work again from your duster sweaters.
- 21:24Speaker 3: I'll tell you, Harry Hamlin, he can do whatever he
- 21:27Speaker 3: wants now, which before, you know, Harry Hamlin's had to
- 21:29Speaker 3: do a lot of really shitty things.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I have this Juicy Scoop Obsessed group on Facebook.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Juicy Scoop Obsessed.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Hi, Juicy Scoop Obsessed group. That's hard to say.
- 21:43Speaker 6: But they're, like, really fun. They post things, and so.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I guess somebody started talking about that, and they brought
- 21:49Speaker 2: up that there were some, like, maybe a lame sitcom
- 21:54Speaker 2: or two that we all believe that Harry Hamlin did
- 21:56Speaker 2: not enjoy doing, and this was before The Dusters came out.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I'll tell you, Harry Hamlin's had to do a couple
- 22:01Speaker 3: of things that are not Harry Hamlin-esque.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I mean, more than a couple. And he's not happy
- 22:08Speaker 3: about it. And so I've always wanted to get to
- 22:11Speaker 3: a point, because every actor has to do that, you know,
- 22:14Speaker 3: especially nowadays. I mean, to even survive as an actor
- 22:18Speaker 3: is half impossible, really. Think about it.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So many things are going through my head. First of all,
- 22:23Speaker 2: I just remembered another thing. There's so many things that
- 22:24Speaker 2: I don't think of that then come. Harry Hamlin, I believe,
- 22:29Speaker 2: now I'm 99% sure. Okay. Didn't he do an extremely
- 22:32Speaker 2: controversial movie called Making Love?
- 22:35Speaker 6: He was kind of the first.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Straight guy to go full-blown gay.
- 22:40Speaker 3: He was the first.
- 22:41Speaker 2: In acting. Okay, let's tell this story because I remember
- 22:44Speaker 2: the movie. Okay, so the movie was 80? 1980-ish? 81, exactly.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Was it made for TV or was it a real movie?
- 22:51Speaker 3: Feature film, 20th Century Fox.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Okay, so it's about a woman and a man who
- 22:57Speaker 2: are married. Harry Hamlin is married to a woman.
- 23:00Speaker 3: No, it's... I think it's Michael Onkeen married to Kate Jackson.
- 23:04Speaker 6: Oh, and Harry Hamlin was the full-blown gay.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Okay. Sorry.
- 23:08Speaker 3: So imagine taking on that role in 1981.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Wait, let me tell them the juicy story because it's
- 23:13Speaker 2: a really juicy movie. Okay. They're a happily married couple.
- 23:17Speaker 2: And then the guy starts seeing Harry around. Is Harry
- 23:20Speaker 2: a swimmer in this?
- 23:21Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I mean, they just wanted to show off his body.
- 23:23Speaker 5: I doubt it.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Anyway, he starts seeing him. And then they freaking do it.
- 23:29Speaker 2: He goes over to Harry's house.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Harry is a pioneer.
- 23:34Speaker 2: He is.
- 23:35Speaker 3: He is a goddamn pioneer.
- 23:37Speaker 2: They have sex and the guy has to tell his wife,
- 23:43Speaker 2: I'm doing this now. How did it end?
- 23:46Speaker 3: I don't remember exactly.
- 23:49Speaker 2: But I'll tell you, on a date— I mean, he
- 23:50Speaker 2: goes— he leaves his wife.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 2: But she— but they're all friends at the end of the
- 23:54Speaker 2: dinner party or something. I don't know.
- 23:55Speaker 6: Which is the way it should be.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Right. But that was— now, when that— now, you were not married
- 24:01Speaker 2: to him then.
- 24:02Speaker 3: No, I just— I graduated from high school in 19— Right.
- 24:05Speaker 2: You were together. But you were working— you just revealed in
- 24:08Speaker 2: last week's episode that you were working at a high-class LensCrafters.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Basically. Not when I was 18, but when I was
- 24:16Speaker 3: about 20. I was 29 by this time.
- 24:21Speaker 2: 29.
- 24:21Speaker 3: So I'm still struggling.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Okay.
- 24:23Speaker 6: I'm 29 and I'm struggling. But you are an actress.
- 24:25Speaker 2: You're a model.
- 24:25Speaker 7: Trying to be.
- 24:26Speaker 2: You have a headshot. You have an agent.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yes.
- 24:29Speaker 2: And this is your job at the eyeglass place. Wait,
- 24:32Speaker 2: let me go back to him being gay. Okay. Now.
- 24:36Speaker 2: In the movie.
- 24:36Speaker 7: Yes. Yes.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Let's clarify that.
- 24:41Speaker 6: If that's the new rumor on the show.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Oh, please. You know. because that's always the thing these
- 24:46Speaker 2: housewives throw around, is that someone's husband is gay. Of course.
- 24:49Speaker 2: That's a very common one.
- 24:51Speaker 6: Very common.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 24:53Speaker 2: And I bet those bitches don't even know that Harry
- 24:57Speaker 2: was gay in 81.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Did he ever, like, question it?
- 25:00Speaker 2: Was his agents ever like, I think this is a
- 25:02Speaker 2: mistake because you're going to be pegged as gay? Or
- 25:04Speaker 2: did he know, being a straight man, this was the ultimate, like,
- 25:09Speaker 2: acting role? Well.
- 25:11Speaker 3: You'd have to talk to him about it exactly. But
- 25:13Speaker 3: I know that it was offered to him. It was
- 25:17Speaker 3: told to him that it could ruin his career. And
- 25:20Speaker 3: I think once that was told him, he was like, well,
- 25:22Speaker 3: fuck you. I'm going to do it then. He's a
- 25:23Speaker 3: little bit like that, like I am. It's like someone
- 25:26Speaker 3: tells me no. And it did ruin his career for
- 25:28Speaker 3: about five years.
- 25:29Speaker 2: It did?
- 25:30Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely. More than five years.
- 25:32Speaker 6: What happened?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Well, he couldn't get arrested, could not get a job.
- 25:35Speaker 6: Because people thought he was gay?
- 25:37Speaker 3: No, because it was so controversial. They just didn't want
- 25:40Speaker 3: to touch him. You know, it was such a controversy.
- 25:43Speaker 2: At the time. I mean, I remember, okay, I remember,
- 25:46Speaker 2: and I was like 10 or 11, and I saw,
- 25:48Speaker 2: I was the youngest of five, so I got to
- 25:51Speaker 2: see every movie. I stayed up late for every, I
- 25:54Speaker 2: loved hooker movies. I said, my parents had no, they
- 25:58Speaker 2: were exhausted. They didn't care. I never, I had, my
- 26:01Speaker 2: friend Liz goes, I remember you coming to like third
- 26:04Speaker 2: grade at Catholic school and be like, did you see
- 26:06Speaker 2: The Mistress last night with Victoria Principal?
- 26:08Speaker 3: And you're like, yes, absolutely.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I would say to her. And Liz
- 26:11Speaker 2: would be like, no, we went to bed at nine. Like,
- 26:13Speaker 2: what are you doing at eight? Like, and I was like,
- 26:15Speaker 2: my parents are up, like, and I'm just sitting there watching. Like,
- 26:18Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I was like, so excited. That's
- 26:21Speaker 2: and my son, my 10 rolls the same way because
- 26:23Speaker 2: he keeps going. It's today, Thursday, today, Thursday, because he's
- 26:26Speaker 2: so excited to see the Menendez brothers murder miniseries.
- 26:32Speaker 3: So am I, by the way. But you're a 10-year-old?
- 26:35Speaker 5: Wow.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Well, he's almost 11.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Anyway.
- 26:38Speaker 2: But again, I'm like, I kind of parent like my
- 26:40Speaker 2: mom in that respect.
- 26:41Speaker 6: But anyway, it all worked out.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Because I knew about Harry Hamlin's movie.
- 26:46Speaker 3: You did?
- 26:47Speaker 8: At 11.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Wow. I knew a gay was very young. So my
- 26:51Speaker 2: parents had gay when they were in real estate.
- 26:53Speaker 6: So they had gay clients.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Oh, cool. And then- I remember going to the gay
- 26:57Speaker 2: client's house and he's like, and I go, wow, you
- 26:59Speaker 2: have a lot of, you know, a lot of toilet paper, whatever.
- 27:01Speaker 2: He goes, well, my friend is very, you know, wants
- 27:05Speaker 2: to always stock up on stuff. And I'm like, you
- 27:07Speaker 2: mean your boyfriend? And they were like, oh, my gosh,
- 27:10Speaker 2: you're like. My parents, you know, went to Catholic. Here's
- 27:13Speaker 2: this little eight-year-old who goes to Catholic school.
- 27:15Speaker 6: And I'm like, well, aren't you guys like a couple?
- 27:17Speaker 3: And they're like, okay.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Like, you know.
- 27:19Speaker 3: You are so ahead of your time.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I'm so ahead.
- 27:21Speaker 3: I didn't know anything. I don't even think I'd ever.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Do you know now?
- 27:25Speaker 3: I do now know.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Yes.
- 27:26Speaker 3: It's taken, what, 50 years and I now know.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:30Speaker 2: No, I knew everything.
- 27:31Speaker 8: Wow. Yeah.
- 27:33Speaker 6: So that's crazy. So it did hurt him then.
- 27:35Speaker 3: It did. And he didn't care. If you ask him
- 27:38Speaker 3: today if he would do it again, he would say yes, absolutely.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Did he ever get jealous when Brokeback Mountain came out?
- 27:45Speaker 6: Because talk about being ahead of your time.
- 27:47Speaker 2: And being born in the wrong era.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Well, I think that, you know, Harry is very much,
- 27:51Speaker 3: Harry Hamlin is very much like that.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Can you ever just call him Harry?
- 27:55Speaker 3: I do. We call him HH a lot.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Okay. All right.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Harry was ahead of his time in many ways. It
- 28:01Speaker 3: has been in many things, like over and over and
- 28:04Speaker 3: over again. So, yeah, you know, at that point or
- 28:06Speaker 3: seeing Philadelphia or nowadays, it's so accepted. It's so different. But,
- 28:13Speaker 3: you know, he has people come up to him daily
- 28:17Speaker 3: thanking him and saying that, you know, they came out
- 28:20Speaker 3: because of that movie. Andy Cohen will tell you that
- 28:23Speaker 3: that movie was like a huge part of his, you know,
- 28:27Speaker 3: growing up and being able to, you know, it's like
- 28:29Speaker 3: the first time. they ever got to see, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 3: that on screen.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:34Speaker 3: So Harry's been ahead of his time in a lot
- 28:35Speaker 3: of things. It's just who he is. He would never
- 28:38Speaker 3: take it back. And, you know, he was offered a
- 28:40Speaker 3: Warner Brothers contract way back in the day. I mean,
- 28:43Speaker 3: he could have been the biggest movie star ever.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Like, ever, ever, ever. Why didn't he take it?
- 28:48Speaker 3: He didn't take it. I'm like, why didn't you take it? Because,
- 28:50Speaker 3: of course, I say yes to everything. He turned it down.
- 28:53Speaker 3: I'm like, you are crazy. He turned it down because
- 28:56Speaker 3: he didn't like, they wanted him to be Tarzan. Remember
- 28:59Speaker 3: way back in the day?
- 29:00Speaker 7: Yes, yeah.
- 29:00Speaker 3: So that was the first movie they wanted him to
- 29:02Speaker 3: do as Tarzan. He was like, I'm not doing it.
- 29:04Speaker 3: And then they wanted him to do Saturn 3 with
- 29:07Speaker 3: Farrah Fawcett. And he was like, it was the worst
- 29:10Speaker 3: piece of shit script ever. I mean, he's classically trained.
- 29:13Speaker 3: He's a stage actor.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 3: And so he's very, very, very picky about what he does.
- 29:18Speaker 3: So now he can be very, very picky because the
- 29:20Speaker 3: Duster Cardigan has made it for us. No, not just
- 29:25Speaker 3: the Duster Cardigan.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Of course. It's a good.
- 29:27Speaker 3: lots of things good damn business but it's really great
- 29:30Speaker 3: now he can just he doesn't have to take a
- 29:32Speaker 3: bad TV movie a bad sitcom or something that he
- 29:35Speaker 3: doesn't want to do he can do like really great
- 29:37Speaker 3: stuff he can go do theater in New York he
- 29:39Speaker 3: can do everything that he's always wanted to do.
- 29:42Speaker 2: So you're working at the eyeglass place.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 2: And now where are you in your career at this point?
- 29:48Speaker 2: What have you done?
- 29:49Speaker 3: I've done a lot of commercials. So at this point,
- 29:52Speaker 3: I've probably done like 13 Taco Bell commercials.
- 29:55Speaker 2: And you still have to work at the eyeglass place?
- 29:56Speaker 3: I was collecting unemployment. Unemployment.
- 29:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:59Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 6: How are you collecting unemployment while working at the eyeglass place?
- 30:02Speaker 7: Well.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Oh, shit. Yep.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Ray, maybe don't.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 30:06Speaker 6: Can you imagine if someone comes after her 20 years later?
- 30:08Speaker 3: Can I get arrested for that?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Probably.
- 30:10Speaker 3: My friend owned the store.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 30:12Speaker 3: And so he had me working there and he just
- 30:14Speaker 3: paid me cash.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Oh, God. I know.
- 30:16Speaker 3: So scandalous. That's the most scandalous thing I've ever heard.
- 30:20Speaker 2: That's what's going to come out at the reunion.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Lisa Brenna is collecting cash under the table while she's
- 30:25Speaker 3: collecting unemployment.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Andy Cohen. Andy Cohen.
- 30:30Speaker 7: Heather McDonald from Woodland Hills said, is it true that
- 30:39Speaker 7: you've collected a point?
- 30:40Speaker 2: Then somebody whips out. I'd love it if someone just
- 30:44Speaker 2: played my podcast. Can we do that? And then we
- 30:47Speaker 2: get the thing going. Yeah. Okay. So he strolls in
- 30:52Speaker 2: to pick up the glasses.
- 30:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 2: And now he is recently broken his engagement with Nicolette Sheridan.
- 30:59Speaker 3: No, they were married.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Oh, they were married.
- 31:02Speaker 3: They were married. And she had just left him for
- 31:05Speaker 3: Michael Bolton. This is a true story. But I don't
- 31:11Speaker 3: know that.
- 31:12Speaker 2: So he strolls in. So you think he's married to
- 31:13Speaker 2: Nicolette Sheridan?
- 31:14Speaker 5: Yes.
- 31:15Speaker 2: And he's like, I'm here to pick up my glasses.
- 31:17Speaker 3: And I give him his glasses. And, you know, you're
- 31:19Speaker 3: just like, oh, my God. That's Harry Hamlin.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Was he at all flirty with you? No, not at all.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Okay. No, it was very businesslike.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Okay. So then what happens?
- 31:27Speaker 3: So my friend who owns the eyeglass store happens to
- 31:30Speaker 3: be friends with Nicolette and Harry.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:33Speaker 3: So there's a little crossover there. So one night I
- 31:36Speaker 3: go to give Brad the key.
- 31:38Speaker 2: To the store?
- 31:39Speaker 3: To the store, because he won't let me have the key.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I have to like go and deliver it to him.
- 31:42Speaker 3: He's always up there for dinner.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:44Speaker 3: So I work from like six to 10. So at 10,
- 31:46Speaker 3: I would go and give the key to Brad or
- 31:48Speaker 3: he'd be there.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:49Speaker 6: At the Hamlins.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:50Speaker 3: At the eyeglass store.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Oh, at the eyeglass store.
- 31:52Speaker 3: At the eyeglass store. So I went to give Brad
- 31:55Speaker 3: the key and he's having dinner with Harry over at Shane's.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Which is now Il Segreto. So we've been up there
- 32:02Speaker 3: for a long time. 25 years I've been with Harry now.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Quarter of a century.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Just this January 1st. It's a quarter of a century.
- 32:09Speaker 3: So I go to give them the key or give
- 32:11Speaker 3: Brad the key and he goes, sit down with us.
- 32:13Speaker 3: They're having dinner. So I sit down and I order
- 32:17Speaker 3: a glass of wine and We start chatting. I just
- 32:19Speaker 3: seen Cirque du Soleil for the first time. I was
- 32:22Speaker 3: so blown away by it. I mean, the very first
- 32:24Speaker 3: time you've seen Cirque du Soleil, you're like, oh, my God.
- 32:27Speaker 3: So I'm telling them all about this. And I'm just like,
- 32:30Speaker 3: you know, chattering away like I do. And I leave.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And it was like, fine.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Right.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I didn't think twice.
- 32:36Speaker 2: About it, really.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Because you think he's married.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I think he's married. So I'm having drinks with a
- 32:41Speaker 3: married man and my friend.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Bachelor friend, Brad.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 3: So I'm living in Brentwood at the time. We had
- 32:47Speaker 3: answering machines.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yes, I remember.
- 32:50Speaker 3: And I'm in the shower and I hear the answering
- 32:52Speaker 3: machine go off. I turn it off and I hear
- 32:55Speaker 3: my friend Brad say, hi, Lisa. It was really great
- 32:58Speaker 3: last night. Harry really had a good time. And if
- 33:01Speaker 3: if he were single, he would like to date you.
- 33:03Speaker 3: I was like, that's so fucked up. He's not single.
- 33:06Speaker 7: Right.
- 33:07Speaker 3: He's married. You know, that's I was like, oh, you know, well,
- 33:11Speaker 3: he wasn't married.
- 33:12Speaker 6: So then what did you do? So you called Brad
- 33:14Speaker 6: and you were like, what the hell?
- 33:15Speaker 3: I don't remember that. I don't know if I talked
- 33:17Speaker 3: to him or what. I just thought that was weird.
- 33:19Speaker 3: And then I found out that, because the press came out,
- 33:23Speaker 3: that Nicolette had left him for Michael Bolton.
- 33:26Speaker 6: And then what happened? Then did you go on a date?
- 33:29Speaker 3: Then it took a while. It's a long, involved story.
- 33:32Speaker 3: It takes way too long to tell it. But we
- 33:35Speaker 3: do finally go on a date. And how many dates
- 33:39Speaker 3: before you bone?
- 33:41Speaker 7: Well.
- 33:42Speaker 3: At least 10 because I make him go get an
- 33:44Speaker 3: AIDS test. This was right like in.
- 33:46Speaker 2: The- After that movie.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Just kidding. It was right in the midst of like, well,
- 33:49Speaker 3: this is 25 years ago. It was like, you don't sleep.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I was really like, you have to have an AIDS test.
- 33:54Speaker 3: And he was like, what are you talking about? I
- 33:56Speaker 3: was like, I'm not sleeping with you unless you have
- 33:57Speaker 3: an AIDS test. I've had one.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Look, here.
- 34:00Speaker 3: I was weird about it at the time.
- 34:02Speaker 2: That's good.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I guess back then, you know, it was- Yes. I
- 34:06Speaker 3: haven't been with many men.
- 34:07Speaker 2: People should be more like that.
- 34:09Speaker 3: So I made him go get an AIDS test. And
- 34:11Speaker 3: once he got his- Paper's back.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Then you went for it.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Once he was okay, then we... But I made him wait,
- 34:18Speaker 3: which was good.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:20Speaker 3: You know, we went on 10 dates before we slept together.
- 34:23Speaker 3: He was pretty pissed, but he stayed in it. Yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Think about it. That's a long time. He was, like, pissed.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I remember one of my best friends, like, I was
- 34:36Speaker 2: dating Peter, and.
- 34:38Speaker 3: I dated a Peter, too.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Well, it's not the same one, but whatever. But he
- 34:42Speaker 2: said we've been on a couple dates and we hadn't
- 34:45Speaker 2: slept together. And he's like, hey, would you like to–
- 34:48Speaker 2: I have this thing. Like he was in sales and
- 34:50Speaker 2: he was like, I have this rumor or like whatever,
- 34:53Speaker 2: a package deal at the Hyatt in San Diego that's
- 34:55Speaker 2: going to expire.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Wow, how sexy.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Yeah. I was pretty excited. No, it wasn't the Hyatt.
- 34:59Speaker 2: It was one of these San Diego ones. Okay.
- 35:01Speaker 6: But it was right on the water.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Nice. And I'm like 28. Okay.
- 35:05Speaker 3: So yeah, that's exciting. I'm excited.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Please. Yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 2: So my friend goes– Don't do it, Heather. Don't go.
- 35:13Speaker 2: It's too soon. And if he is really the one,
- 35:15Speaker 2: you have the rest of your life to go to
- 35:18Speaker 2: the Hyatt in San Diego.
- 35:20Speaker 6: We've never been to the Hyatt in San Diego.
- 35:22Speaker 2: So whenever we pass this, because it's kind of near
- 35:24Speaker 2: where I do this, where I do comedy in San Diego.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And I'm always like, I always bring it up.
- 35:28Speaker 6: And it'll be in the car.
- 35:30Speaker 2: And I'm like, I turned down that weekend. The Hyatt
- 35:34Speaker 2: in San Diego because we had the rest of our
- 35:36Speaker 2: lives to bone.
- 35:37Speaker 3: And it's your husband.
- 35:38Speaker 2: He is my husband. Okay.
- 35:39Speaker 3: So there.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Currently still. It worked.
- 35:49Speaker 6: So now you and Harry dated for how many years
- 35:51Speaker 6: before engagement?
- 35:53Speaker 5: Five.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Now, did you think he wasn't ever going to ask you?
- 35:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I was getting to that point. You know, he'd
- 35:58Speaker 3: already been married twice.
- 36:00Speaker 6: Who was the first one?
- 36:01Speaker 3: Laura Johnson.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Is that just what?
- 36:04Speaker 3: She was on Falcon Crest.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Oh, he's only dating famous ladies.
- 36:08Speaker 3: He likes his ladies. He likes his famous ladies. You know,
- 36:11Speaker 3: Ursula is his baby mama. Ursula Andress.
- 36:14Speaker 2: He has a child?
- 36:15Speaker 3: Yes, Dimitri.
- 36:17Speaker 6: How old is she?
- 36:18Speaker 3: Well, Dimitri is his son who's 36, but he was
- 36:22Speaker 3: with Ursula first.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Oh.
- 36:24Speaker 3: So then he was with Laura Johnson, but he didn't
- 36:26Speaker 3: marry Ursula. So he's with Laura Johnson now. married, and
- 36:29Speaker 3: then I don't know how long.
- 36:30Speaker 2: But no kids with her?
- 36:31Speaker 3: No kids with her.
- 36:32Speaker 2: No kids with Nicolette?
- 36:33Speaker 3: No kids with Nicolette. Only married Nicolette for 11 months.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 36:37Speaker 3: That wasn't very long. So he wasn't really excited.
- 36:40Speaker 2: This was going to be hard to get him to
- 36:42Speaker 2: the altar.
- 36:42Speaker 3: He was not real excited to get married.
- 36:43Speaker 2: One baby mama, two ex-wives.
- 36:45Speaker 3: He was like, I don't think so.
- 36:48Speaker 2: And he's older than you, like what, five years older?
- 36:50Speaker 3: He's 12 years older.
- 36:51Speaker 6: Oh, he's 12 years older?
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 36:54Speaker 6: How fucking old is Harry Halich?
- 36:56Speaker 2: Just kidding.
- 36:56Speaker 5: No.
- 36:58Speaker 3: He's older than anyone thinks. He's like, he's pretty, I mean, really.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Okay, so wait a minute. Okay, so now, but now
- 37:06Speaker 2: you're in your 30s, and so your.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Clock's ticking, and you're like, what are we doing here?
- 37:11Speaker 3: That's right. So we go to Tahiti about a year
- 37:14Speaker 3: and a half after we start dating.
- 37:15Speaker 2: And this is back when people had babies in their 30s,
- 37:18Speaker 2: not at 50.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Like Janet Jackson today. Yeah.
- 37:21Speaker 3: So, I mean, I'm like, ticking.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Ticking.
- 37:22Speaker 2: It's ticking. It's ticking.
- 37:24Speaker 3: So about a year and a half in, we go
- 37:25Speaker 3: to Tahiti and I think for sure he's going to
- 37:27Speaker 3: propose to me in Tahiti. He just, I mean, he's
- 37:29Speaker 3: going to, right?
- 37:30Speaker 7: It's Tahiti.
- 37:30Speaker 2: But you talk as a couple, you're living together and
- 37:33Speaker 2: you're talking about marriage or does he always get weird
- 37:36Speaker 2: about it?
- 37:36Speaker 3: We're not really talking about it.
- 37:38Speaker 7: No.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Are you talking about having a baby?
- 37:40Speaker 3: No, we're not really talking much about anything.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Did you ever think about just getting knocked up? Yeah.
- 37:46Speaker 6: Were you trying to do that?
- 37:47Speaker 3: No, because I was on the pill.
- 37:49Speaker 2: But did you ever just like look at the pill
- 37:51Speaker 2: and like? Pretend to stick it in your mouth and then... No.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Because I'm a good girl and.
- 37:56Speaker 6: I follow the rules.
- 37:58Speaker 2: And you wanted to have the wedding. Yeah. With a
- 38:00Speaker 2: flat stomach. Of course.
- 38:02Speaker 3: And you know what? I always felt like if it
- 38:05Speaker 3: was going to happen, we would be married. I never
- 38:08Speaker 3: saw it any other way.
- 38:10Speaker 2: That's smart of you. Most women would have fucked it up.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Most would have. But you know what? It came to
- 38:15Speaker 3: a point where I was like, you know what? You
- 38:17Speaker 3: need to do your thing. Because he was fucked up after...
- 38:20Speaker 3: nicolette left him for michael.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Bolton and they're not together right no okay no but.
- 38:27Speaker 3: He was he i mean he didn't see it coming
- 38:29Speaker 3: so imagine like you're married to this woman she was
- 38:32Speaker 3: having an affair well she went to the hollywood bowl
- 38:35Speaker 3: one night and and saw him and then had an
- 38:37Speaker 3: affair with him that night.
- 38:39Speaker 2: What's a michael bolton um yeah.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Um I did get to, this is a really funny story.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I did get to see him because, you know, I
- 38:52Speaker 3: always say thank you, Michael Bolton, because if it weren't
- 38:54Speaker 3: for Michael Bolton, I would not have my beautiful children.
- 38:56Speaker 3: And so about two years ago, we were at the,
- 39:00Speaker 3: you have a Michael Bolton song? About two years ago,
- 39:02Speaker 3: we were at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Yes.
- 39:05Speaker 2: And I know Michael Bolton.
- 39:07Speaker 3: I've known him for years, but haven't seen him, you know,
- 39:10Speaker 3: really much since I've been with Harry. And Harry wasn't
- 39:13Speaker 3: really a real fan of his after that had happened. Right.
- 39:16Speaker 3: But I always said, God, if I.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Would you ever, like, be in the car and a
- 39:19Speaker 2: song would come on?
- 39:20Speaker 3: And he would turn it off. Oh, yeah. For sure. Oh,
- 39:25Speaker 3: for sure. I mean, now he doesn't care. But we're
- 39:28Speaker 3: sitting there and I go... I got to go over
- 39:30Speaker 3: and thank him. I just do like, there's Michael Bolton.
- 39:33Speaker 3: There's my chance. So I walk over.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Hi, Michael.
- 39:36Speaker 3: How are you? He's really nice and cordial. And I,
- 39:40Speaker 3: I take his hand and I go, I just have
- 39:42Speaker 3: to thank you. I've always wanted to send you flowers,
- 39:44Speaker 3: but I haven't. But I have to thank you because
- 39:47Speaker 3: if it weren't for you, I would not have my
- 39:49Speaker 3: beautiful family. He takes my hands and he looks at
- 39:52Speaker 3: me and he goes, you are so welcome. It was
- 39:58Speaker 3: such a good moment. I'll never, ever, ever forget it.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Okay. So you go to Tahiti.
- 40:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 6: You make sure you have a manicure in case you
- 40:07Speaker 6: get your diamond.
- 40:08Speaker 3: I'm thinking for sure. And then I get nothing. And
- 40:11Speaker 3: I'm pissed.
- 40:12Speaker 2: So now you're a bitch on the 12, 14-hour flight home.
- 40:15Speaker 3: I'm a bitch on the trip. And Harry's like, what's wrong?
- 40:18Speaker 3: And I'm like, well, I thought you were going to
- 40:21Speaker 3: propose to me.
- 40:21Speaker 2: You say it. Of course.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Of course I'm going to say it. Well, I'm not
- 40:25Speaker 3: going to. I wasn't going to. I was like, oh, damn.
- 40:29Speaker 3: So we had to kind of get over that hurdle and...
- 40:32Speaker 3: You know, then about five and a half years later,
- 40:34Speaker 3: he asks me at dinner, like we're sitting at dinner.
- 40:37Speaker 2: So wait, the Tahiti happened how soon after dating?
- 40:40Speaker 3: One and a half years.
- 40:41Speaker 6: So that's the appropriate time.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Then he says, I'm not. And then you just go
- 40:45Speaker 2: on with your life. And then the clock really starts ticking.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Now you're at year five. Now what? You're still not
- 40:50Speaker 2: saying anything?
- 40:53Speaker 3: Well, so long ago, I don't remember. I think I
- 40:55Speaker 3: was working on the soap, so I was so busy.
- 40:58Speaker 5: Okay.
- 40:58Speaker 2: So you didn't care. I don't care.
- 40:59Speaker 3: I'm learning 40 pages of dialogue a day, right?
- 41:01Speaker 7: Right.
- 41:01Speaker 6: I'm just trying to get through. It's when you're Hope, right?
- 41:04Speaker 3: It was Billy.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Oh, Billy. Sorry.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Billy, but Hope and Billy, it's the same.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:09Speaker 3: They were with Beau, so it's similar.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:10Speaker 7: Okay.
- 41:11Speaker 3: So I think I was so immersed in that, like
- 41:14Speaker 3: I could just only survive.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:16Speaker 3: So I wasn't thinking marriage. So we were having dinner
- 41:19Speaker 3: one night and he proposed to me at dinner.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Just out of the blue.
- 41:23Speaker 2: And did he have a ring?
- 41:24Speaker 3: He did.
- 41:25Speaker 2: And did you like it? I do. Oh, so good.
- 41:28Speaker 2: You never changed it or anything?
- 41:29Speaker 7: No.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Classy lady.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I love it.
- 41:31Speaker 3: It was his mom's diamond. His mom's or his grandmother's diamond.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Wow, that's cool.
- 41:36Speaker 3: So it's pretty and I love it. And there you go.
- 41:38Speaker 3: So I said yes.
- 41:40Speaker 2: And then how soon after was the wedding? And did
- 41:44Speaker 2: you have a decent sized wedding?
- 41:46Speaker 3: It was almost about nine months, eight months later. And
- 41:50Speaker 3: we had 170 people at the house. In her backyard.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It was gorgeous.
- 41:54Speaker 5: Nice.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Gorgeous wedding.
- 41:55Speaker 2: And then how soon after that was the first baby?
- 41:58Speaker 3: Six months.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Oh, so you're already knocked up?
- 42:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I got knocked up. Well, not, I got knocked
- 42:02Speaker 3: up like in September.
- 42:04Speaker 2: You were engaged?
- 42:05Speaker 3: No, I got knocked up. We were married March 29th
- 42:07Speaker 3: and I got knocked up in September.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Oh, so you still had the flat stomach for that wedding. Oh, yeah.
- 42:11Speaker 3: I wore a gorgeous Vera Wang.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Fabulous.
- 42:15Speaker 6: You still have it?
- 42:16Speaker 3: I do, of course.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Good.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Yeah, she sent me Like 15 sketches of dresses.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Pick one. And were you like in a people spread?
- 42:25Speaker 5: No.
- 42:25Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Oh.
- 42:27Speaker 3: I don't think so. I didn't even have it videotaped.
- 42:30Speaker 3: I didn't want any. We didn't want any.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:34Speaker 3: I wish we would have now.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:36Speaker 3: But no, we didn't do that. I mean, I would now,
- 42:38Speaker 3: of course.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 42:39Speaker 3: My God, I would sell my flipping soul for that.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Which I already have 10 times over.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Have they ever approached you, the producers, and said, why
- 42:46Speaker 2: don't we do a wedding renewal? It's your 25th wedding anniversary. No,
- 42:49Speaker 2: they haven't.
- 42:49Speaker 3: But I think you just gave them the idea.
- 42:50Speaker 8: Thanks, Heather.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Well, it's not a real original idea. But why wouldn't you?
- 42:55Speaker 2: Because I wouldn't. Why not?
- 42:56Speaker 6: You could have everything you didn't have at the first one.
- 42:58Speaker 3: I had everything at the first one, though.
- 43:00Speaker 6: You didn't have it videotaped by Bravo.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Well, no, I didn't.
- 43:03Speaker 3: But I think we're good. You're never going to get
- 43:06Speaker 3: Harry Hamlin to do that, ever.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Never. Never.
- 43:10Speaker 6: I haven't tried yet.
- 43:11Speaker 3: You would never get him to.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Can you put him on the phone?
- 43:13Speaker 3: I could try, but he would not.
- 43:16Speaker 2: He won't participate in a vow renewal on a reality show? No.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Speaking of reality shows, you guys had a little reality show.
- 43:24Speaker 3: We did.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Somewhat.
- 43:26Speaker 6: On TV land.
- 43:27Speaker 2: That's right.
- 43:27Speaker 6: With the girls when they were younger.
- 43:29Speaker 7: Yes.
- 43:29Speaker 6: How many years ago was that?
- 43:31Speaker 2: 2009? 2008?
- 43:32Speaker 3: Was it like Lisa Loves Harry or something? Harry Loves Lisa.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Oh. I think.
- 43:37Speaker 3: I think. We wanted to do like an I Love
- 43:39Speaker 3: Lucy type of a show. We wanted it to be
- 43:43Speaker 3: called I Love Lisa. They wouldn't let that happen, so
- 43:46Speaker 3: they called it Harry Loves Lisa. We wanted to do
- 43:49Speaker 3: it a certain way. They didn't want to do it
- 43:51Speaker 3: that way.
- 43:51Speaker 6: How did you want to do it?
- 43:52Speaker 3: We wanted to do it very much like just follow
- 43:55Speaker 3: our lives. I mean, we had the stores. We had Belgray.
- 43:58Speaker 3: There was a shitload of drama going on with our
- 44:00Speaker 3: employees and everything. They didn't want to do that.
- 44:03Speaker 6: Now, again, I believe Harry Hamlin was ahead of his time.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Again, he was. And they were like, no.
- 44:09Speaker 6: He was gay too soon.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And he was exploiting his family too soon.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Way too soon. And this was a tough time. This
- 44:17Speaker 3: is when we had no money. So this came along.
- 44:20Speaker 6: This is when you were folding the jeans yourself.
- 44:22Speaker 5: Yep.
- 44:23Speaker 3: No money. And we were like, well, they're going to
- 44:25Speaker 3: pay us a lot of money to do this show.
- 44:26Speaker 6: Was it your idea or did someone approach you with
- 44:28Speaker 6: the idea?
- 44:29Speaker 3: Yeah. We had talked about it and then somebody approached
- 44:32Speaker 3: us to do a show and then we had that idea.
- 44:35Speaker 3: So it like came together like that. And then they
- 44:38Speaker 3: didn't do that idea at all. So we only did
- 44:40Speaker 3: six episodes.
- 44:42Speaker 2: And they did it what?
- 44:43Speaker 6: More kind of, more scripted like a curb sort of?
- 44:46Speaker 3: It was kind of more scripted. It was like, we
- 44:49Speaker 3: want this beginning, middle and end.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Okay.
- 44:52Speaker 3: It's nothing like what we do on The Housewives is
- 44:54Speaker 3: what I can tell you. Housewives happens like you have
- 44:58Speaker 3: no idea fastballs are being thrown in the back of
- 45:01Speaker 3: your head. Like, you just don't know what's going to happen.
- 45:03Speaker 2: You told me when we saw each other last year
- 45:06Speaker 2: at the HBO Golden Globe party.
- 45:08Speaker 3: A year ago.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Yes, that it's the easiest job you've ever had.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Is that what I said?
- 45:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Well, it is in a sense that you just show up.
- 45:17Speaker 6: Is that Harry Hamlin?
- 45:19Speaker 2: Is on the set 14 hours a day learning dialogue.
- 45:23Speaker 6: I'm drinking with a gal.
- 45:24Speaker 2: That's right.
- 45:24Speaker 3: I show up, I go have a facial. You have
- 45:26Speaker 3: a massage.
- 45:27Speaker 2: You go to dinner.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Or you go to someone's house. I mean, are you
- 45:30Speaker 3: kidding me? It is the easiest fucking job on the planet.
- 45:33Speaker 6: Exactly. That's what you told me a year ago.
- 45:35Speaker 2: It is. Come on.
- 45:37Speaker 3: It's not even like a job. I mean, we are lucky.
- 45:40Speaker 3: And when anybody complains, I will bitch slap them.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Now, don't you think you, being a working actress, has
- 45:46Speaker 2: worked your ass off? Juggling commercials, eyeglass wear, trying to
- 45:54Speaker 2: nail down Harry Hamlin, saving your last egg, hoping to
- 45:58Speaker 2: get pregnant.
- 45:59Speaker 6: Fucking worked it.
- 46:00Speaker 2: And then these women that have never even auditioned for
- 46:04Speaker 2: a high school play are your co-stars.
- 46:09Speaker 6: And they're bitching about the mic pack being cold. How
- 46:13Speaker 6: do you.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Deal with that?
- 46:14Speaker 3: Well, you know.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I don't.
- 46:20Speaker 3: I really don't. I do have a rule, though. If
- 46:22Speaker 3: anybody is not nice to the crew, they will hear
- 46:25Speaker 3: from me. I will say.
- 46:27Speaker 2: And has anyone not been nice to the crew? Yes.
- 46:30Speaker 8: Who?
- 46:30Speaker 3: I'm not going to say who.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Hmm. She'll tell me after.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Well, I'm not going to say who, but she's no
- 46:37Speaker 3: longer on the show. There have been people that are
- 46:40Speaker 3: not nice to the crew, and you have to be
- 46:41Speaker 3: nice to the crew. Like, they push them, and they
- 46:44Speaker 3: yell at them, and they do things that are so inappropriate.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Are there people that don't let the crew use their
- 46:50Speaker 2: bathrooms at their home when you're filming?
- 46:53Speaker 3: I don't know that. I would have to, because I'm
- 46:55Speaker 3: not there necessarily. I think everybody lets the crews use
- 46:59Speaker 3: their bathroom. It's such a nice crew. We have the nicest,
- 47:03Speaker 3: best crew.
- 47:03Speaker 2: I'm sure you do.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Like, we really do.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Like, they're great.
- 47:06Speaker 3: It's one of the reasons why I'll go back. I
- 47:07Speaker 3: go back because the crew's so nice.
- 47:10Speaker 2: And they're fun.
- 47:11Speaker 3: They're so fun. They're so nice. The girls love them. Like,
- 47:14Speaker 3: they're really a great crew.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Let me just see if what I've.
- 47:17Speaker 3: What do you want to know?
- 47:18Speaker 6: What's the least favorite show.
- 47:19Speaker 2: You've ever worked on or actor? And it could be
- 47:22Speaker 2: a housewife.
- 47:22Speaker 3: I can't say. I won't say, but there is one.
- 47:26Speaker 3: But I won't say.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Is it someone that was tweeting you last night? No. No. Interesting.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 2: What's the least favorite show you've ever worked on? A job.
- 47:38Speaker 2: That you can say.
- 47:39Speaker 3: God, I really have been super duper duper duper lucky.
- 47:43Speaker 2: All right. Well, then forget that question.
- 47:44Speaker 8: Yeah, no.
- 47:45Speaker 3: There isn't a bad one.
- 47:47Speaker 2: You seem to have a really great marriage with Harry Hamlin.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Seems like you guys are down to fuck a lot.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Have you ever had a rough, a real rough period? No.
- 48:01Speaker 3: In the beginning, it was a little bit rough.
- 48:04Speaker 2: With the babies.
- 48:05Speaker 3: No, before the babies.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Oh, and you were waiting to get the ring.
- 48:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:09Speaker 3: It was a little rough in the beginning because he
- 48:12Speaker 3: was just not ready. You know, his head was not
- 48:15Speaker 3: in the game, let's say. So in the very beginning,
- 48:18Speaker 3: it was rough. And we went to therapy.
- 48:20Speaker 2: You went to therapy before you got married.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Yes, we did. How about that?
- 48:24Speaker 6: Well, normally I would say if you have to go
- 48:26Speaker 6: to therapy before you get married, you shouldn't bother.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:29Speaker 6: But in your case, it worked.
- 48:30Speaker 2: It worked.
- 48:31Speaker 3: And we needed to.
- 48:32Speaker 6: I think maybe when you're dealing with a guy.
- 48:35Speaker 2: That, you know, again, divorce twice, then maybe I'm going
- 48:40Speaker 2: to say that that probably is wise.
- 48:41Speaker 3: It was really wise. And we had a great therapist.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Great therapist.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Now, did you, were you a stepmother to the Dimitri?
- 48:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Well, I never thought of myself as a stepmother. But
- 48:51Speaker 2: did he come around a lot or was it?
- 48:54Speaker 3: At that time, he was 11 when we met. So
- 48:57Speaker 3: he was living in Rome with his mother. So we didn't,
- 48:59Speaker 3: I didn't get to see him.
- 49:00Speaker 6: A whole lot.
- 49:01Speaker 3: He'd come for the summer vacation. And he would come
- 49:04Speaker 3: for spring break, but he was going to school in Rome.
- 49:07Speaker 3: And then he ended up going to Princeton and graduating.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I mean, he's— What does he do now?
- 49:11Speaker 3: He's an artist.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Oh, cool.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Yeah. He's really smart. He's gorgeous.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Is he married?
- 49:17Speaker 3: He's not.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 49:19Speaker 7: Well, ladies.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Look him up.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I know. Well, he has a girlfriend.
- 49:22Speaker 7: Oh.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Well, never mind.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:25Speaker 2: All right. Your hair. Okay.
- 49:28Speaker 6: I think it's great.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 49:29Speaker 6: I personally... I've only changed my hair once.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what's so funny to me.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Everybody has the same hairstyle, pretty much.
- 49:37Speaker 3: If you think about it, look at all the girls
- 49:38Speaker 3: that have had long hair their whole lives. But there's
- 49:41Speaker 3: something about my hair being short that seems to garner that.
- 49:45Speaker 3: It's short.
- 49:45Speaker 2: It's highlighted. It's like done in the same way. It's
- 49:48Speaker 2: never like you do like quirky curls or anything like
- 49:52Speaker 2: you always do it the same style because that's what
- 49:54Speaker 2: looks good.
- 49:55Speaker 3: It seems to work that way. I mean, it's just easy.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I mean, I wore it off my face that one
- 50:00Speaker 3: time on Andy's show and it like flipped everybody out.
- 50:04Speaker 3: It made the fucking papers. You know what I mean?
- 50:06Speaker 3: It like was the headliner on the Daily Mail. I mean,
- 50:09Speaker 3: come on. It's funny.
- 50:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 50:11Speaker 3: To me, it's just funny.
- 50:12Speaker 2: And is it a wig?
- 50:14Speaker 3: Pull it.
- 50:16Speaker 2: No, it's not. Everybody, I just touched it. You touched it.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Of course you're going to ask me that. That storyline
- 50:25Speaker 3: will just never die.
- 50:27Speaker 2: And so with the Vidal Sassoon girl who's coming on,
- 50:32Speaker 2: how did she come about to get on the show?
- 50:34Speaker 3: I don't know. I'd heard, you know, that's where the
- 50:37Speaker 3: eyeglass store is up there. So, I mean, I live
- 50:40Speaker 3: up there and I saw that she'd opened a Pilates studio.
- 50:42Speaker 3: And I remember one day my daughter and I are
- 50:44Speaker 3: peeking in going, oh, we should come take Pilates here.
- 50:47Speaker 3: I didn't really know Eden. I just knew of her.
- 50:50Speaker 6: So did you suggest her then for the show?
- 50:52Speaker 8: No.
- 50:53Speaker 3: I'd never even met her.
- 50:54Speaker 2: So then all of a sudden, they're like, we have
- 50:55Speaker 2: this new girl that's going to be part of the show.
- 50:57Speaker 2: You're going to go do Pilates with her. And you're like, oh,
- 50:59Speaker 2: my daughter and I have been thinking about getting a membership.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Exactly. Like, 100%. Just like what you said. Like, Lisa,
- 51:05Speaker 3: you're going to go here, and you and Eric are
- 51:07Speaker 3: going to go take Pilates at Eden's Pilates studio. I'm like, okay.
- 51:11Speaker 3: So they were just trying her out, basically. Because they
- 51:14Speaker 3: had decided to hire Dorit. She was up for it,
- 51:17Speaker 3: and they decided to hire Dorit instead of Eden as
- 51:20Speaker 3: a full-time housewife.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:21Speaker 3: I'm told this.
- 51:22Speaker 2: And then.
- 51:23Speaker 3: I think they thought maybe they needed a little more
- 51:25Speaker 3: energy or a little more something. So they were still
- 51:29Speaker 3: intrigued by Eden. So they wanted to see how she'd
- 51:31Speaker 3: work with everybody. Do you know what I mean?
- 51:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:33Speaker 3: So that's how it began.
- 51:34Speaker 2: So now in the future episodes, she gets seen more.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Yes, because I have a connection with her and have
- 51:42Speaker 3: a lot in common with her, it turns out.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Oh.
- 51:45Speaker 3: You'll see this week.
- 51:46Speaker 2: But it doesn't involve boy George, right?
- 51:48Speaker 3: It does not involve Boy George.
- 51:51Speaker 2: No, but... I mean, can we just talk about this
- 51:53Speaker 2: whole thing? A lot of questions about Dorit.
- 51:56Speaker 6: A lot of.
- 51:58Speaker 2: What do you think of Dorit?
- 51:59Speaker 3: What do you think of the new energy and the
- 52:02Speaker 3: new cast?
- 52:04Speaker 2: The Dorit is.
- 52:05Speaker 6: I think it's always good to.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Bring in someone new.
- 52:08Speaker 1: I do, too.
- 52:08Speaker 3: I think the new energy is so good. Otherwise, what
- 52:10Speaker 3: are you going to do?
- 52:11Speaker 6: So good.
- 52:12Speaker 2: And I feel... I feel the the arguments that are
- 52:16Speaker 2: happening are a little pushed and a little contrived. And
- 52:20Speaker 2: to be totally honest. Yeah. And and I think she
- 52:24Speaker 2: is some I think what happens is sometimes people come on.
- 52:27Speaker 2: And what I liked about Erica Jane, who came on
- 52:29Speaker 2: my show, is she really didn't watch the show before.
- 52:33Speaker 2: I know. And unfortunately, I think it's very hard to
- 52:37Speaker 2: find someone who's never seen never seen it because. It's
- 52:40Speaker 2: a show that's intriguing to people like us and of
- 52:42Speaker 2: our age. So most women love it.
- 52:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:45Speaker 2: And so it'd be very rare that you'd find someone
- 52:47Speaker 2: that's like, no, I mean, occasionally I meet women that
- 52:49Speaker 2: don't watch it, but I'm like, so, and I think
- 52:52Speaker 2: that really works. But then I think oftentimes you get
- 52:54Speaker 2: somebody and they've studied it, you know, and it's like, so, Ooh,
- 52:58Speaker 2: I should make a big deal out of this and
- 52:59Speaker 2: I should do that.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I think you have a point. I think that, you know,
- 53:02Speaker 3: if you can come on and be your authentic self
- 53:05Speaker 3: and try not to create anything or push anything and,
- 53:08Speaker 3: That's the key to being a good housewife.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:10Speaker 6: And it'll happen.
- 53:11Speaker 2: It'll happen.
- 53:12Speaker 3: But if you come on with a mindset of I
- 53:15Speaker 3: need to be like this, it never works.
- 53:20Speaker 8: Right.
- 53:20Speaker 3: That's my take on it.
- 53:21Speaker 2: And Dorit has, you know, this weird accent.
- 53:24Speaker 6: It's a little bit English.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Sometimes it's a little Vietnamese. It's very strange. And I
- 53:31Speaker 2: thought the funniest part about the first time they come
- 53:34Speaker 2: to meet Lisa Vanderpump for dinner is she's.
- 53:37Speaker 6: Like, you know.
- 53:39Speaker 2: I am not attracted to attractive people. You could give
- 53:42Speaker 2: me the most gorgeous man on earth and I don't
- 53:44Speaker 2: want him.
- 53:45Speaker 6: That's why I love PK.
- 53:47Speaker 2: When PK entered the room, I said, now that is
- 53:51Speaker 2: someone for me because I don't like attractive people.
- 53:53Speaker 6: I was like, holy shit.
- 53:58Speaker 2: And he's sitting there and he's like, we're watching it.
- 54:00Speaker 2: My sons are like, um, Oh.
- 54:03Speaker 6: My God.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Who is he married to?
- 54:05Speaker 2: And I go, he's married to this girl in the
- 54:07Speaker 2: red dress. You know, and it's like so great to
- 54:09Speaker 2: watch shows with kids like that. So then I know.
- 54:12Speaker 7: Right.
- 54:12Speaker 3: They ask all these questions.
- 54:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 2: And she's like, I'm someone who when they when I
- 54:17Speaker 2: have a dinner party, I want everyone to have a
- 54:20Speaker 2: wonderful time.
- 54:21Speaker 6: Well, who wants people to have a horrible time?
- 54:26Speaker 2: What is that? It's like, I hope you would. And
- 54:30Speaker 2: it's all about, you know, it's bringing people together. And
- 54:34Speaker 2: in this town, in this town, do they make you
- 54:37Speaker 2: guys say this town a lot?
- 54:39Speaker 3: They don't make you say anything.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Well, I feel like her and Kyle say in this
- 54:43Speaker 2: town so much. I wonder why. Why is it like
- 54:47Speaker 2: you're trying to separate Beverly Hills so much from the
- 54:50Speaker 2: other franchises? Because obviously it I feel like Beverly Hills
- 54:54Speaker 2: in New York. does stand out obviously there is more
- 54:57Speaker 2: wealth and fame than new jersey and oc it's a
- 55:00Speaker 2: different kind of different vibe but like i'm just like
- 55:04Speaker 2: really like in this town you know you need to
- 55:07Speaker 2: have fresh flowers and i go through a lot of
- 55:09Speaker 2: work for this it's very and then that car and
- 55:14Speaker 2: then when she's like i mean i know boy george
- 55:17Speaker 2: okay no offense to boy george What the fuck? Is
- 55:27Speaker 2: he the eighth housewife? What is it? Who the fuck is, like,
- 55:30Speaker 2: whacking off to Boy George at Provo? Like, why aren't
- 55:34Speaker 2: everyone so excited about it? I think he's perfectly nice.
- 55:38Speaker 3: You know, I love Boy George. I love Boy George.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Growing up, I mean, my God, it's Boy George.
- 55:44Speaker 2: But I feel like people had to, and other people's
- 55:47Speaker 2: confessionals are talking about Boy George, and I'm like, Is
- 55:50Speaker 2: some big thing happening with big boy George in the season?
- 55:53Speaker 3: All I know is he's on Celebrity Apprentice at the
- 55:55Speaker 3: same time. So maybe there's some correlation there. I don't know.
- 56:00Speaker 3: You know, like all of a sudden I just know
- 56:02Speaker 3: that you'll see.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Do you really want to hurt me? Now, you thought
- 56:10Speaker 2: Erika Jayne was a little sexy in her video last year.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Seems like you guys are fine this year.
- 56:17Speaker 3: I love her. I have gotten to know her. I
- 56:19Speaker 3: think we've gotten a chance to get to know one another.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Erica Jane. Yeah. Lisa Renna and I are both
- 56:25Speaker 2: cancer patients. I noticed that she's talking kind of like
- 56:28Speaker 2: a 40s film star lately. I love it. I like it, too.
- 56:31Speaker 3: I think it's fabulous.
- 56:33Speaker 2: I like it, too. When you are fabulous and you've
- 56:35Speaker 2: got the money to be fabulous, why not be fabulous?
- 56:38Speaker 3: So good. I've really gotten close to Erica this season,
- 56:41Speaker 3: and we're having a lot of fun. We have fun together.
- 56:44Speaker 3: We do.
- 56:44Speaker 2: Do you think you are more obsessed with her than
- 56:47Speaker 2: Eileen Davidson? Or is she the most obsessed with Erika Jayne?
- 56:51Speaker 3: You know, she was the most obsessed with Erika Jayne.
- 56:54Speaker 3: But I think now we've all become obsessed with Erika Jayne.
- 56:58Speaker 3: That's the truth. I think we've now all surpassed Eileen, maybe.
- 57:03Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Eileen really does love Erika.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Except not Dorit. Dorit doesn't necessarily love Erika. Or we'll see.
- 57:11Speaker 3: Well, what do you think?
- 57:13Speaker 2: Well, no, because I know Boy George. I don't know her.
- 57:19Speaker 2: You know, iTunes hits. Darling, I didn't write it for you.
- 57:26Speaker 3: You're good. I could just listen to you and sit.
- 57:29Speaker 3: You could just do the show while we're sitting here.
- 57:31Speaker 3: I basically do the whole show. You're so good.
- 57:35Speaker 2: What about Vanderpump? How's everything going on with her? I'd
- 57:40Speaker 2: like a fucking apology, Lisa. You know, it's like, what
- 57:47Speaker 2: is she doing? You're going to apologize to her?
- 57:51Speaker 3: I did already. I don't remember.
- 57:54Speaker 6: You apologized while you were dancing.
- 57:56Speaker 3: I said, I'm sorry it was hard on you. That's
- 57:57Speaker 3: all she's getting. Just that right there. I've let it go.
- 58:00Speaker 3: I've moved on.
- 58:01Speaker 2: In the months in between of filming.
- 58:04Speaker 3: Six months. There's six months in between.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Six months.
- 58:07Speaker 6: Who do you talk to?
- 58:09Speaker 3: I talk to Eileen, Erica, and Kyle.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Those three. Okay. Who's left?
- 58:15Speaker 3: Well, there's Vanderpump and Dorit and.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Who's the other one? Who are we missing?
- 58:22Speaker 3: Wait, there's me, Eileen, Erica, Kyle, Vanderpump, Dorit.
- 58:27Speaker 2: That is it. That's it.
- 58:29Speaker 3: There's only six of us.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Oh, Yolanda left. Okay, so Yolanda left.
- 58:32Speaker 3: And Eden's a friend, so.
- 58:33Speaker 6: Right, right.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 58:35Speaker 3: And she's just new, so.
- 58:36Speaker 6: When did you finish the last.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Day of filming?
- 58:39Speaker 3: October, end of October.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Did you have a Halloween blowout?
- 58:44Speaker 3: It was not a Halloween blowout, but it's a party
- 58:47Speaker 3: at somebody's house.
- 58:48Speaker 2: But you don't wear costumes? No.
- 58:50Speaker 3: We have a party coming up. Where we wear costumes.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Well, of course.
- 58:53Speaker 6: You always have to wear costumes.
- 58:54Speaker 3: We have a Gatsby party.
- 58:56Speaker 2: I'll just tell you.
- 58:57Speaker 3: You already had a Gatsby party.
- 58:58Speaker 6: It was like Kris Jenner's.
- 58:59Speaker 2: Remember?
- 59:00Speaker 3: That's where we saw each other.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Right. But you already had a Gatsby party.
- 59:03Speaker 6: Kyle had one like two seasons ago.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Well, I missed it because we have another one. We
- 59:08Speaker 3: had a Moulin Rouge party.
- 59:10Speaker 2: No, you had.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Was there a Gatsby party?
- 59:12Speaker 2: Okay. People that are fans of the show.
- 59:15Speaker 3: Okay, did we have one already?
- 59:16Speaker 2: When Kyle had a lady sitter.
- 59:20Speaker 3: The lady sitter who I love.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Yes. He is now like doing news on E!
- 59:24Speaker 5: He's great.
- 59:24Speaker 3: He just interviewed me.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Okay, he's great.
- 59:26Speaker 2: No, he's great, isn't he?
- 59:27Speaker 6: The lady sitter helped her put that party together.
- 59:30Speaker 2: It was a small party. Everybody had to dress in,
- 59:34Speaker 2: you know, 20s. Well, we do it again.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Well, we're back. But now it's called the Gatsby party.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Do you do a wig or do you wear your
- 59:40Speaker 2: own hair for the Gatsby party? I do a wig. Okay, good.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Because you can't.
- 59:43Speaker 3: This can't be 20s. No, it can't. You can't.
- 59:46Speaker 6: And so are there more than 12 people at the party?
- 59:50Speaker 5: Yes.
- 59:51Speaker 3: It's a big party.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Oh.
- 59:52Speaker 3: It's a super big party.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Why don't I get invited? I like to be an
- 59:55Speaker 2: extra at reality show parties and weddings.
- 59:57Speaker 3: I'm not sure why, but it was a big party.
- 59:59Speaker 3: It was in Malibu and it was free. Freezing cold.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: It was tough.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: It was right out there on the bluff.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: I hate being outside freezing in an outfit. Your little
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: toes are cold.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: We have no clothes on. I mean, you know.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to wear the 20s outfit. The little outfits.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: And we're on the dance floor. The dance floor is
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: wet because we're like right off the ocean.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Up on the bluff.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Who has the party?
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: It's Kyle who has the party at one of Maurizio's properties.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Oh, that's nice.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: It's really beautiful.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: Did it sell after that? Or will it after we
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: see it?
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: It's huge.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: I mean, I think it's a lot of money.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Well, that's a good crossover marketing.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: Yeah, well, they're smart.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I don't care. Go for it. Are you kidding?
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: What else? Why else would you do this show?
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: Of course.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Hello? You better have something to sell.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: You got to sell your goat cheese balls. You got
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: to sell your dusters.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: You better sell something.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: And you got to sell your high-end property.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: You're stupid if you're not selling something.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: You are not doing it justice if you don't sell.
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: What's Tariq going to sell? Boy George?
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I think. I, who knows? No, you have to sell something.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: You have to do something. Otherwise, why put yourself, why
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: do the show?
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: So when the show came up.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Was Harry Hamlin down for it? No.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: No. Don't you know the story? Harry Hamlin said, I
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: will divorce you if you do the show. Swear to God.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Even after you said, but Heather MacDonald at Ross's book
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: party says I should do it.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: And he said, who the fuck is Heather MacDonald?
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: I will divorce you if you do this show. And
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: I went, oh, okay. Then I, fine. And then I
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: walked out of the room. That was it. And I
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: was like, okay, we're not doing it.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: And then what happened?
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: And then about 24 hours later, Harry Hamlin had thought
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: about it. He'd had a long thought about it, and
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: I had already started my QVC line. So he thought, hmm,
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: as Harry Hamlin would do, he would speak like this,
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: I've been thinking about it, and I think it may
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: be a good marketing opportunity.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Just like that. Yeah. I'm like, really?
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we should think about it. And I went, okay.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: So then he basically, it was his idea, and then
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: once it was his idea- I ran with it and
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I was like, okay, let's try to do it.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Now let's be honest. Your Teresa flipping tables moment was
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: broken glass. Don't you talk about my husband with Kim Richards.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: What was going through your head?
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: I'll tell you, I'm going to be flat out honest
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: about this moment. I would never have expected that to
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: happen in a million years. We're in Amsterdam. We're jet lagged.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: You get off the plane. You're filmed. You're this, you're that.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: You go right to dinner.
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: We sit down, not five minutes into that dinner, there
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: hasn't been one ounce of alcohol poured, like nothing.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Okay. That happens.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: She brings that up.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: She says that. I know.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: I know about your husband.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: She just provokes and provokes, and I.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Just— Do you think that she saw the movie Making
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Love in 1981, and that's what she was getting at?
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: I think she just made the fucker up. Just for
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: shits and giggles, baby.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: And why did you get so incensed? If it was
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: just for shits and giggles.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Well, I think she had already really just pissed me off.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: I was already just pissed off. Like she, we weren't
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: speaking at that point. You know, we'd had a moment
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: where she just, you know, it was a little produced
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: to me. It felt just a little too produced.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: Like she came in with the agenda.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: It wasn't organic. And I don't know, it just totally
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: pressed my button. I didn't expect it. Would not have
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: guessed I would ever do anything like that. I was
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: just flipping pissed.
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: And what did Harry think?
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Harry laughed. Harry thought it was funny. He laughs to
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: this day about it.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: It didn't give him a boner, the way he just
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: got so angry like a mother bear?
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: He was like, you are such a fucking rock star.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: He did like that. He loved that because, I mean,
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: you know, it's pretty attractive, I think, when you see
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: your spouse stand up for you like that.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: I don't know. She just pissed me off. Like, I just,
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: you know when somebody just presses your button.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah, there's some people that you're just never going to
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: click with.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: Never.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: You're never going to click with.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: No. There's times when you both want to, but you
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: still can't get in a groove of a conversation.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: It's like you're just not. And then I think with.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Her problem with addiction and your history, and it's like
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: I have siblings that have had addiction problems and stuff.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: I'm not someone that has ever taken a Xanax or
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: an Ambien, so I don't take that shit lightly. I
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: don't think it's funny.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: And I think that's, you.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Know, so it's like you're a little not tolerant of
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: that bullshit.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: It was tricky, to be honest with you. It was
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: really tricky.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: And then she comes around again, right?
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: She comes around next week. They just drop her down
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: from the sky. They like plop her down. I sit
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: down at this party and she just plops down across
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: from me.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: And does some shit go down?
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: Well, you'll have to wait and see.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: I hope so.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: You've seen the preview, haven't you?
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: Yeah, but you never know. Sometimes they trick you with
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: the previews.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: They did that twice with New Jersey. It really pissed
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: me off. They acted like Teresa and Melissa were in
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: a fight, but it was a joke.
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: Or Teresa and Jacqueline, but it was like they were
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: playing a prank on their husband.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Oh, I don't like that.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: I thought that was a little too trickery.
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: No, you can't be trickery like that.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's okay that I don't know who you're
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: talking about, but the shit better be like real anger
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: when I see it. On Tuesday.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: You'll see. You know, I think what I'm going into
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: this year is I want to move on from that. Like,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: I'm done with it. Like, I don't want to go there.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: I don't want to rehash it. We've tried to rehash
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: it so many times.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: You're right.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: I'm just done with it.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Like, I'm done.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: I don't want to talk. I want to be nice.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: I want to be cordial. We don't have to be
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: best friends.
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: Nothing.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: But I want to try to move on. Yeah. That's
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: my goal.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: And I think it's always hard with the Kyle element
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: The Kyle element's very tricky.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: It's super, super, super tricky because it just is, you know?
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: Yeah, but she's like, oh, fuck, you know?
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I mean, it's her sister.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Period. End of story.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Like, if I get into it with her sister, it's
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: her sister. She's going to always stand behind her sister,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: and rightfully so. So it does get... It gets messy
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: at times. But I'm really trying to move forward and
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: to somehow just be done with that.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Do you know?
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Because you carry it with you.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Well, Lisa, I feel like we got a lot of
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: juicy scoop out of you today.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I hope so.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: Me too.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Always so honest and fun. I want to follow in
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: your footsteps. I want to sell stuff on QVC.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: It's so great.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: I want my sons to be models. Okay. I want
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: my husband to star as a gay man before it's time.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Or wear a toga.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: Whatever it takes.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Right? You're so cute.
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: No, but great.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: So thank you so much. My pleasure. Everybody knows if
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: they're not following her already, it's just your name, right?
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: At Lisa Wren on Instagram, Lisa Wren on Twitter, Facebook.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Of course, the show is Tuesday night, Real Housewives of
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Beverly Hills on Bravo.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: Thanks, girl.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: You know, we had our highest rated show, second highest
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: rated show last week of the entire seven years.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Isn't that awesome?
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: It's really cool after seven years to have your second
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: highest rated show. I think the first highest rated show
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: was that episode where Kyle... accuses Kim of being an alcoholic.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: I think that was my favorite thing. You stole my house!
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: That was the first, I think, highest rated. So last
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: week was the second highest rated in the entire series.
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: That's pretty cool after seven years.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Well, that's good. I mean, hopefully more and more people
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: are discovering it and then get into it. And if
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: you haven't, you can catch up.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: Well, I think it's great with new energy. You know,
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: we've got some new energy going and it's working.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: So I'm happy about that.
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: Great.
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Thanks, Heather. Well, I have so much to discuss on
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Patreon this week. I can't wait for you guys to
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: hear it. There's so many things that I am specifically
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: saving for Patreon about this interview and many other things
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: going on. And you go to heathermcdolland.net to join the Patreon,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: as well as that's where you're going to get tickets
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: to go see me. If you happen to be in
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Salt Lake City, March 20th and 21st, four shows, all
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: brand new standup, very interactive, very much talking to the audience,
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: drop and juice. And I hope to see you there.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: Planning on rewarding your staff this year? Struggling to choose
