- 4:01SPEAKER_00: The Lord said to her, The leaders of two nations are in your body.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Two nations will come from you, and they will be divided.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: One of them will be stronger and the older will serve the younger.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: When the right time came, Rebecca gave birth to twins.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: The first baby was red, his skin was like a hairy robe, so he was named Esau.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: When the second baby was born, he was holding tightly to Esau's heel, so that baby was named Jacob.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Isaac was sixty years old when Jacob and Esau were born.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: The boys grew up.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Esau became a skilled hunter who loves to be out in the fields, but Jacob was a quiet man who stayed at home.

- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Let me have some of that red soup.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: That is why people call him red.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: But Jacob said, You must sell me your rights as the firstborn son.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Esau said, I'm almost dead with hunger, so what good are the rights to me now?
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: But Jacob said, First promise me that you will give them to me.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So Esau made an oath to him and sold his rights as the firstborn son to Jacob.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil soup.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Esau ate the food, had something to drink, and then left.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: So Esau showed that he did not care about those rights as the firstborn son.
