- 0:35Speaker 4: Done, thanks dead Yes, patronizing.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Lead beautifully by hoodie j God look at your movie. Hey,
- 0:44Speaker 3: your type T shirt on there? You are like the
- 0:48Speaker 3: perfect specimen of manhood. Like if I was going to
- 0:52Speaker 3: make a statue. Yeah, I'll get you to get your
- 0:54Speaker 3: kit off and I just chip away at that stone,
- 0:57Speaker 3: the exact image of you. Yeah, alien, how's life scam?
- 1:01Speaker 4: Pretty grassy? You mad dog? There are a sick son
- 1:05Speaker 4: of a be.
- 1:05Speaker 3: You know that you know those statues have really small fatus.
- 1:11Speaker 5: That they do, and so they should, yes, because you
- 1:15Speaker 5: don't want to detract from the overall beauty. And I
- 1:18Speaker 5: think if you start being accurate with the phallus, that
- 1:22Speaker 5: one is endowed with Then people say, lose the overall picture,
- 1:26Speaker 5: don't They sure become distracted, Jace.
- 1:28Speaker 3: That's true, And especially if you've got a really weird
- 1:30Speaker 3: circumcession going on too, it'll be really hard to do
- 1:33Speaker 3: in Stone your circumstantion.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Actually, well, the problem would be is if I was
- 1:36Speaker 5: new Jas and if you were the carpenter, if I
- 1:39Speaker 5: could put it that way, I think you were a sculptor.
- 1:42Speaker 5: If I was the one standing before you in that room,
- 1:45Speaker 5: in that state, I would find it very hard not
- 1:47Speaker 5: to find myself in a state of semi arousal at
- 1:51Speaker 5: the very least, and that would make for one hell
- 1:54Speaker 5: of a statue.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Keysy your mad dog.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Can you imagine the sexual tension in that room? Well,
- 2:00Speaker 3: chipping away their keys naked? Maggie, how you going?
- 2:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, thanks for bringing me in on this one, Fellas.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I'm actually really tired today. Sure, I don't know why
- 2:11Speaker 4: have been so hot?
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, because you're looking real good, yeah, clean shaven.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I'm loving to hear do at the moment.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Stop saying that it's just the same every single day.
- 2:20Speaker 3: You just looked really good.
- 2:22Speaker 4: But can't you here at the moment You're.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Probably to take a compliment?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Do you have to learn that? Can I just say
- 2:30Speaker 4: sorry about that? And I have one question. It's for you, Jason.
- 2:33Speaker 4: The hell's a circumscision? Woy you said it incorrectly. What's
- 2:38Speaker 4: that about?
- 2:38Speaker 3: You really need to look at you really need to
- 2:41Speaker 3: look at Mogi's circumsctision to right. Yeah, and remember it's
- 2:48Speaker 3: maggot Monday two. So have you you've got a maggot
- 2:50Speaker 3: you want to mention for your Monday Texas now on
- 2:53Speaker 3: three four eight three. In the meantime, let's kick.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Off with a better Faith No More the whole Achy
- 2:58Speaker 1: Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and King.
- 3:06Speaker 3: He is indeed massive attack there on the radio Darkey
- 3:09Speaker 3: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is thirteen minutes past.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Four o'cock sure is mate, saves four o'cck.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, just making sure you guys are on your toes.
- 3:20Speaker 4: It's working you.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Shout out to you for maggot Monday, Kezy, what do
- 3:23Speaker 5: you say, brother? Totally our mate. Maggot hasn't been called
- 3:27Speaker 5: anything else since two thousand and one.
- 3:29Speaker 4: He'll be at the pub now. Shout out to the
- 3:31Speaker 4: up a tavern.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Yeah, good, yes, good, definition of the word maggot in
- 3:35Speaker 5: every sense apparently.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Wow, massive shout out to maggot Andrew. He's been getting
- 3:39Speaker 4: wet all day thinking about Jason's honker.
- 3:43Speaker 3: We had this very weird experience speaking of my honker
- 3:46Speaker 3: while we were down in Wellington and there was a
- 3:48Speaker 3: guy on his stag do and one of his tasks
- 3:51Speaker 3: was to kiss my honker. You were a call, fellows,
- 3:54Speaker 3: and he shoved his tongue right up there too. It
- 3:57Speaker 3: was quite off putting.
- 3:59Speaker 4: We've we've got some breaking news. This is breaking news.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Hey, fellows. Some pretty exciting stuff, some pretty exciting rumors
- 4:11Speaker 5: coming out of the United Kingdom. It seems that Oasis
- 4:16Speaker 5: are on the verge of reuniting after fifteen years of
- 4:19Speaker 5: not only not been a band anymore, but the two
- 4:22Speaker 5: brothers actively hating each other's gats and the press and
- 4:25Speaker 5: bagging each other. Very funny. I found it very entertaining
- 4:28Speaker 5: but also a little bit sad. This morning on Liam
- 4:31Speaker 5: Gallagher's his Instagram and Twitter, as well as Oasis and
- 4:38Speaker 5: Noel simultaneously, they did a drop which said in the
- 4:41Speaker 5: sort of Oasis graphic design twenty seventh eight twenty twenty four,
- 4:47Speaker 5: eight am so there's going to be announcement which is
- 4:49Speaker 5: six pm tomorrow night our time. There has also been
- 4:52Speaker 5: chat online that they are going to be doing ten
- 4:56Speaker 5: consecutive nights at Wembley Wembley Stadium that would Jesus, that
- 5:02Speaker 5: would smash Taylor Swift's eight gig record set earlier this month,
- 5:05Speaker 5: and then they're also going to do ten gigs in
- 5:07Speaker 5: Manchester and also some chat about a world tour after that.
- 5:13Speaker 5: There's been a little bit of rumors around over the
- 5:15Speaker 5: last few weeks because they've each been speaking in the
- 5:18Speaker 5: press and been complimentary about each other, which sort of
- 5:22Speaker 5: suggested that the ice was melted and they were about
- 5:25Speaker 5: to do something. This will be the biggest thing to
- 5:28Speaker 5: happen in rock music, since I don't know when, I'll
- 5:32Speaker 5: be doing absolutely everything I can to get over to
- 5:35Speaker 5: the UK to go and see that they've played gigs
- 5:37Speaker 5: in front of two hundred and fifty thousand people. There's
- 5:39Speaker 5: some incredible concerts you can see on YouTube, and the
- 5:42Speaker 5: feeling for them only continues to grow. Even though we're
- 5:45Speaker 5: a couple of generations down from them being in their prime,
- 5:47Speaker 5: their music still connects in a massive way.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Question, what's a big deal with the Oasis, Like just
- 5:55Speaker 4: from A thirty three, right, So I was probably listening
- 5:58Speaker 4: to smash Mouth or something. That's a band. Yeah, it's
- 6:02Speaker 4: a band, I know, but I kind of missed it
- 6:04Speaker 4: and now I'm coming to it kind of later. Yeah,
- 6:06Speaker 4: and some of the songs like, oh, yeah, they're pretty good,
- 6:08Speaker 4: you know what I mean. But I'm like, what's the
- 6:09Speaker 4: massive deal with them?
- 6:12Speaker 5: It's all of the great songs. Well, yeah, they're widely
- 6:16Speaker 5: regarded as he is regarded as one of the best
- 6:19Speaker 5: songwriters in history, and and Liam is regarded as one
- 6:22Speaker 5: of the best vocalists in rock history as well. And
- 6:25Speaker 5: in fact, they came out of the same house and
- 6:26Speaker 5: it was sort of all they work. They came out
- 6:29Speaker 5: at a time when the UK didn't really have a
- 6:31Speaker 5: band to get behind, and so it was a massive
- 6:35Speaker 5: zeitgeiste sort of a band, but they just had hat
- 6:37Speaker 5: after hit after it just did not stop. And then
- 6:41Speaker 5: also there was all the drugs, the alcohol, the incredible interviews.
- 6:45Speaker 5: There are two of the funniest men on the planet,
- 6:47Speaker 5: although people took them pretty seriously. You know, they're going
- 6:50Speaker 5: out with the most beautiful woman in the world, as
- 6:52Speaker 5: Kate Mice and all that sort of stuff. They're having
- 6:54Speaker 5: fist fights on stage. They were pure rock and roll
- 6:57Speaker 5: at a time where everything was a little bit mundane.
- 7:01Speaker 5: And yeah, it's going to be absolutely massive.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Have they run out of money?
- 7:06Speaker 5: I don't think either of you have run out of
- 7:08Speaker 5: mony my cynical view of it. No, I mean both
- 7:11Speaker 5: of them have done incredibly well. Liam has released i
- 7:14Speaker 5: think three solo albums in the last four years, all
- 7:16Speaker 5: of them have gone to number one. He's had sold
- 7:18Speaker 5: out wow, He's had sold out tours all around the world.
- 7:22Speaker 5: I've been to one of them. Incredibly You just a
- 7:24Speaker 5: great performer. And Noel has had about four albums come
- 7:28Speaker 5: out as well that have all gone to number one.
- 7:30Speaker 5: They tour sold out gigs all around the world. But
- 7:33Speaker 5: this will be absolutely on another level.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Good stuff.
- 7:38Speaker 4: I'm stoked about it. I love Oasis.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I love it. Speaking of which, hey, wooh.
- 7:44Speaker 4: No, this is Oasis.
- 7:46Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisey.
- 7:51Speaker 3: He's indeed sound Garden there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
- 7:54Speaker 3: Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty eight minutes
- 7:57Speaker 3: past four o'clock. And of course the worry is played
- 8:00Speaker 3: again this weekend. It was the last home game for
- 8:04Speaker 3: the great Shawn Johnson. Sadly, Charlie, gab your mad basket,
- 8:09Speaker 3: it wasn't to be, and oddly reminiscent really of the
- 8:13Speaker 3: season for the Warriors. A Hessen a raw start, reeled
- 8:16Speaker 3: in and then spanked.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right, it was had a bit of that
- 8:22Speaker 6: feeling about. I thought we were going to be on
- 8:24Speaker 6: when Sean came out all those neon lights and smoke machines.
- 8:27Speaker 6: But we dropped the ball on the first set and
- 8:31Speaker 6: we defend. We ended the line very well. We got
- 8:36Speaker 6: back down there, scored a couple of tries and then
- 8:40Speaker 6: Bulldogs got their way back and it got some very
- 8:44Speaker 6: favorable calls from the rest, which might not have changed
- 8:49Speaker 6: the game. But who knows. Ought to be nice to
- 8:51Speaker 6: play against twelve players, Charlie.
- 8:53Speaker 5: If you can't shoulder charge somebody in the head, what's
- 8:55Speaker 5: the game coming to?
- 8:56Speaker 3: Man?
- 8:56Speaker 6: Totally man, Yeah, that's what I'm talking about it like,
- 9:00Speaker 6: that's why I know, that's why my mum wanted me.
- 9:03Speaker 4: To play the game, Charlie. That particular shelter charge, I mean,
- 9:10Speaker 4: obviously Roger had to leave the field is one of
- 9:12Speaker 4: our best attacking weapons and it's now looking like the
- 9:16Speaker 4: bloke who did at Crichton is going to be facing
- 9:18Speaker 4: potentially some games on the sideline. And that's the second
- 9:20Speaker 4: time that's happened to us the Warriors this year. Charlie.
- 9:24Speaker 4: It's almost like the Warrior is getting the rough end
- 9:26Speaker 4: of the stick when it comes to riffing. Man, have
- 9:28Speaker 4: you noticed that?
- 9:29Speaker 6: Yeah, But I don't speak too much more from from
- 9:33Speaker 6: the rests. You know, they're like, to be fair, they're
- 9:36Speaker 6: a bunch of memorids and I would say that like
- 9:40Speaker 6: the tackle to me, it wasn't that bad, but from
- 9:44Speaker 6: from what they've been doing all season, that's a clear
- 9:46Speaker 6: ten in the burn. Yeah, so you know, the refs
- 9:49Speaker 6: made their bed and they don't want to sleep on it.
- 9:51Speaker 6: And Mount Smart's the thing.
- 9:53Speaker 5: It's consistency is all I want, right And it was
- 9:56Speaker 5: similar in the second half when old mate Barnett copped
- 9:59Speaker 5: one the face as well that split him open. He
- 10:01Speaker 5: just refused to play the ball until the until the
- 10:03Speaker 5: bunker had a look at it and that was all
- 10:05Speaker 5: good as well. That's just a penalty.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Too, Yeah, that was both of them were not even
- 10:10Speaker 6: penalties until they stayed down, yes, and the rest just
- 10:14Speaker 6: play the ball and then they look at it and
- 10:15Speaker 6: it's a clear shoulder to the head. But what can
- 10:19Speaker 6: you do. We can't cry over spilt milk. You know,
- 10:21Speaker 6: you just got a floorsucker.
- 10:22Speaker 3: And Charlie, yeah, I mean, you know, not to send
- 10:26Speaker 3: off that we wanted for the great Shawan Johnson his
- 10:28Speaker 3: final game at home. But what a career, mate, what
- 10:32Speaker 3: a player. He's going to be missed, isn't he.
- 10:35Speaker 6: Yeah, he'll be missed, you know what. But he's left
- 10:37Speaker 6: a legacy. Just it wasn't a Sabari legacy.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Brother, No, that's right, that's right. I think we are.
- 10:45Speaker 4: We're like it to have him.
- 10:46Speaker 5: We're also in terms of the Warriors, I think I'm
- 10:49Speaker 5: probably grateful that they haven't made the finals because it
- 10:51Speaker 5: just saved saves us watching and getting pumped one more
- 10:54Speaker 5: game in the season. But I was just having a
- 10:56Speaker 5: look at some stats before we came on, Charlie. We
- 10:58Speaker 5: lost one game by a six point, we lost two
- 11:00Speaker 5: games by four points, we lost two games by two points,
- 11:05Speaker 5: we lost two games by one point, and we drew
- 11:08Speaker 5: a game. So we're certainly keeping ourselves. That's that's a
- 11:12Speaker 5: third of the season there where we're right in these
- 11:15Speaker 5: games and we just sort of we just can't do it, man.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, Yeah, It's just one of those big moments,
- 11:22Speaker 6: just aren't you know, we're not making them go our way?
- 11:25Speaker 6: But you're right, like we've been right in every game,
- 11:29Speaker 6: even the ones that we lost, you know, like even
- 11:31Speaker 6: this one here, but we could have won it, but
- 11:34Speaker 6: we just just almost found a way to lose.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 6: I wish I knew what it was, but I don't.
- 11:42Speaker 6: But I'm just.
- 11:44Speaker 2: On the radio.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Mate. Well, you were on the Hammer and the Sheds
- 11:48Speaker 4: on after the game and you reckon that there there's
- 11:51Speaker 4: a bunch of backbones and there in twenty twenty five
- 11:53Speaker 4: is our year, Charlie gub yep yeap.
- 11:55Speaker 6: No, definitely. We had some robust conversation and they know
- 12:00Speaker 6: they know what we're feeling and and yeah, obviously you
- 12:06Speaker 6: know that there's some pretty high core dudes in there
- 12:08Speaker 6: and they're bringing it twenty twenty five.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Right, We're building, We're building, Charlie, Just just a question
- 12:14Speaker 4: before we get into the Porter King Player of the Round.
- 12:18Speaker 4: For what would have been four nights ago here in Auckland,
- 12:21Speaker 4: the window was so ferocious that it actually blew over
- 12:24Speaker 4: a portloo right by my house. However, we were just
- 12:27Speaker 4: in Wellington over the weekend and I saw a number
- 12:29Speaker 4: of Porter King portaloos and none of them were blowing
- 12:32Speaker 4: over man. What's the secret?
- 12:34Speaker 6: Yeah, we just feel different, like I'm not your run
- 12:38Speaker 6: of the mill hypool, you know, superlue that kind of
- 12:40Speaker 6: stuff for them. Just a bit different, but a bit
- 12:42Speaker 6: more backbone onto the ground, a couple of concrete pulps.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Because there's some rumors going around in the trade there
- 12:49Speaker 5: that you deliver them half full of steamers MUGGI.
- 12:57Speaker 6: I did not need to comments and listening to that.
- 13:00Speaker 3: You don't need that slapping around in the back of
- 13:02Speaker 3: the truck there, that's for sure. Hey, Charlie, it's been
- 13:06Speaker 3: an absolute pleasure having you on throughout the season. Mate,
- 13:09Speaker 3: who is your player of the day.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I'll give it to the young fellow off the bench, super.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Cooler Yeah, Demitric. Yeah he was good.
- 13:21Speaker 6: But he's good man, he's good. And what he's got
- 13:24Speaker 6: a backbone?
- 13:25Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:25Speaker 3: Yeah, good stuff, Charlie. Hey, well there's one final game, yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 3: Charlie up. I was going to say I was a
- 13:32Speaker 3: bit pre ejaculative there. Who are we playing?
- 13:35Speaker 4: Next week sharks way. Oh yeah, oh well but Charlie,
- 13:40Speaker 4: thank you very much for chatting mate, And to all
- 13:42Speaker 4: those listening, don't forget if you need to do Peas
- 13:44Speaker 4: and Wellington, give old Porter King of Ring and they'll
- 13:46Speaker 4: sort you out.
- 13:47Speaker 6: Ah, Charlie, No, we'll sort you out. And yeah yeah,
- 13:50Speaker 6: and do a real good cash price.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Yeah, your promo code backbone and he'll sort you out.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Big Show pod, Yes, indeed Bush there on the radio
- 14:02Speaker 3: Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is five
- 14:05Speaker 3: minutes of five o'clock. Now it's daffit all day fellas.
- 14:09Speaker 3: This Friday. We're trying to raise one hundred thousand dollars,
- 14:13Speaker 3: aren't we boys.
- 14:14Speaker 4: That's right, we're trying to raise one hundred thousand dollars
- 14:16Speaker 4: for Cancer Society. Yes, this is also aligned with A
- 14:20Speaker 4: and Z as well. And if we get to one
- 14:21Speaker 4: hundred thousand dollars, one of us will have to bungee
- 14:24Speaker 4: jump off the Auckland Harbor Bridge wearing nothing but a
- 14:27Speaker 4: sort of slim fitting velvet daffodil suit.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Yeah, what are we up to? How much are we
- 14:32Speaker 4: up to? Just over thirty seven thousand, so we can
- 14:36Speaker 4: do it man, we can do it if you want
- 14:38Speaker 4: to see one of us, Jason jumping off the Harbridge
- 14:42Speaker 4: dressed up ridiculous, sleep keazy. Are you're good? Yeah, you're
- 14:46Speaker 4: gonna have to text donate to two four four two
- 14:49Speaker 4: right now to get the link. Then you'll be able
- 14:51Speaker 4: to donate there because if doesn't get a hundred thusand dollars,
- 14:53Speaker 4: we don't have to do anything.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Just sweet, just on that front. I mean, how are
- 14:56Speaker 3: we going to decide who gets to jump off the bridge?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Because we're going to get there, man, I've got no
- 14:59Speaker 3: doubts about it.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Don't know, we've come up with something. Oh I know,
- 15:02Speaker 4: if someone coughs and then sees someone's name, they have
- 15:04Speaker 4: to do it.
- 15:07Speaker 3: What you have to do probably makes sense.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Actually, yeah, good young buck like yourself.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah, man, you've got a good spine on you as well.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Already good in that little outfit as well.
- 15:23Speaker 4: I reckon and also ticks donate to two four four
- 15:26Speaker 4: two right now to see someone jump off the Harbridge.
- 15:29Speaker 8: There.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Hey, coming up after five o'clock sports wrap of the weekend.
- 15:33Speaker 3: There's quite a bit of sports on which was exciting.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Also one final chance to win your dad something nice
- 15:38Speaker 4: for Father's day thanks to the insured post.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Well that after five Beautiful the whole.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Actual Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy. Tune in
- 15:46Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio hod I can.

- 15:52Speaker 3: you're listening to the Big Show brought to you by
- 15:54Speaker 3: night Day. Very good. I think it's good that we're
- 16:02Speaker 3: not going down.
- 16:03Speaker 4: You like that?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I think it was the going down that
- 16:06Speaker 3: was stuffing us out with the.
- 16:07Speaker 4: One who was making us go down.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's my bad as the leader of the vocals there.
- 16:14Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Man.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Hey, I just want to do a big shout out
- 16:17Speaker 3: to to Wellington. We were down there on Friday. Always
- 16:20Speaker 3: great to get down there, Always great to meet all
- 16:22Speaker 3: the backbones that listen to the show, and of course
- 16:25Speaker 3: great to be a part of Beervana fantastic event is
- 16:27Speaker 3: always as popular as always. It was a shame that
- 16:31Speaker 3: the weather didn't come to the party, but it was
- 16:33Speaker 3: a beautiful day on the set day, so I'm sure
- 16:35Speaker 3: it was thumping on the Saturday morning afternoon did the
- 16:41Speaker 3: two sessions.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I had a great time down to Wellington and
- 16:46Speaker 4: we discussed this at length actually on today's podcast outro.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Not a huge fan of it. Wellington. Sure, are there
- 16:54Speaker 4: certain cities I love. I love christ Church, Todhunger obviously,
- 16:59Speaker 4: but for me especially that last one made him because
- 17:01Speaker 4: of just how horrible the weather was. It didn't take
- 17:04Speaker 4: a lot of Wellington. Wellington.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Sorry, okay, yeah, yeah, Well I'm surely our fans down
- 17:09Speaker 5: there will love hearing you beg it.
- 17:10Speaker 4: No, no, I wasn't begging. I'm just like, are you
- 17:12Speaker 4: begging it?
- 17:14Speaker 3: One of the things actually we did diet is great.
- 17:16Speaker 3: We want to go down there and do a live
- 17:18Speaker 3: shot at one of the bars. So it takes us
- 17:19Speaker 3: on three four eight three, if you know, a good
- 17:21Speaker 3: bar for the Big Show to do their live show from,
- 17:24Speaker 3: and we'll get it organized and we will get our
- 17:28Speaker 3: asses down there specifically for you Wellington. Your MESSI of backpones.
- 17:33Speaker 4: In the meantime, that's a backpone.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Get back to the tubes.
- 17:38Speaker 1: It's going to the same age The Darchy Big Show
- 17:41Speaker 1: with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, wine Stripes there on the Radio hod Archy
- 17:48Speaker 3: Big Show this Monday afternoon, fourteen minutes past five o'clock
- 17:51Speaker 3: and you've got a real what something's really bugging you
- 17:59Speaker 3: at the moment, isn't it?
- 17:59Speaker 4: Key? Would you say it's bugging me? Jason?
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say it's bugging you. Yes, bugging.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Someone's been bugging me. Fellas spent Sunday walking around. We're
- 18:12Speaker 4: driving around O neighborhood and just looking at a few
- 18:14Speaker 4: houses that we're having open homes. Oh yeah, because we've
- 18:17Speaker 4: had our first house. We've been in it for about
- 18:18Speaker 4: six or seven years now, and we're like, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 4: maybe we're upsize, little family home might be nice. A
- 18:24Speaker 4: few powers, okay, and this is our No, don't get
- 18:26Speaker 4: all clucky on me. But a few popped up that
- 18:29Speaker 4: sort of tacked a few boxes, and it's like, you
- 18:31Speaker 4: may as well go out, get the ball roll and
- 18:33Speaker 4: start looking at places. Sure, and the thing that's been
- 18:35Speaker 4: bugging me is first house we went to headlock around
- 18:38Speaker 4: was great. The guy who was showing it to us
- 18:40Speaker 4: was really nice, pretty chill. Second house, same thing, nice
- 18:43Speaker 4: chill guy. Yeah, look around or whatever you want, answer
- 18:45Speaker 4: some questions. Third house we're into was this young female.
- 18:49Speaker 5: She would have been, oh god, no, why are we
- 18:52Speaker 5: bringing six? So first two guys were chill, guys, and
- 18:55Speaker 5: now we've got a woman involved. Okay, go on, go on.
- 18:58Speaker 4: There's a young female, probably between the age of twenty
- 19:00Speaker 4: five to thirty. She had like really nice clothes on.
- 19:04Speaker 4: She pulled up in a really flash out e for
- 19:07Speaker 4: five minutes late, so we were waiting for her to
- 19:10Speaker 4: actually enter the property.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Wow.
- 19:13Speaker 4: She didn't say high or anything, slapped down a few signs,
- 19:16Speaker 4: opened the door, put a you boom on with some music,
- 19:18Speaker 4: and then proceeded to be the most unfriendly person I've
- 19:21Speaker 4: ever dealt with. Right, So We're looking around the property
- 19:23Speaker 4: and the whole time, I'm like, I don't want to
- 19:25Speaker 4: buy this place just because she's going to get commissioned.
- 19:26Speaker 4: She has been one of the most unfriendly people I've
- 19:28Speaker 4: ever met, and she's going to take tens of thousands
- 19:31Speaker 4: of dollars off the people who sell it. Yeah, you
- 19:33Speaker 4: know what I mean. And it made me think is like,
- 19:37Speaker 4: I can chat, you know, I can sell something. My
- 19:39Speaker 4: wife does marketing. I reckon that when it comes to
- 19:41Speaker 4: selling our house, we could just do it ourselves. What
- 19:43Speaker 4: do you reckon? Have you ever thought about that? Yes,
- 19:45Speaker 4: about you selling your own house? No, you selling your
- 19:48Speaker 4: own house? You know having a crack at it.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Absolutely, I have kezy because you're right, it's one thing
- 19:54Speaker 3: that really bugs me.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Oh would you say it bugs you?
- 19:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, buggy because you always think about your real
- 20:04Speaker 3: estate agent. They get a pretty nice little dollop of
- 20:06Speaker 3: cash from selling your house, don't they.
- 20:08Speaker 4: They do.
- 20:09Speaker 3: They get a fear old wedge of your overall wealth.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Really the vast majority of that goes to the company
- 20:15Speaker 5: and not to the not to the real estate. There
- 20:18Speaker 5: are considerable percentage, huge percentage.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Then it's even so it's still money. I mean, I
- 20:28Speaker 3: don't know if you guys know this about me, but
- 20:29Speaker 3: I used to be a daughter door salesman, and I'll
- 20:31Speaker 3: tell you what. Ho J's got some moves.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Also, I don't want.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I'm pretty good at, you know, making people relax, making
- 20:41Speaker 3: po feel good. And I remember there was.
- 20:43Speaker 5: That guy that invited you into the house and offered
- 20:45Speaker 5: you a beer, and then you had ten, and then
- 20:47Speaker 5: he asked you to leave. Is that an example of
- 20:49Speaker 5: what you're talking about?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Probably not the best example of what I'm talking about,
- 20:52Speaker 3: but certainly I thought to myself, Look, what you need
- 20:55Speaker 3: is a couple of good snaps. But ho charm Bob's
- 20:58Speaker 3: your uncle.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Well, this is what I've decided to. I'm like, when
- 21:00Speaker 4: it comes time to sell our house, I will show
- 21:02Speaker 4: the house. And my wife is pretty chatty as well.
- 21:04Speaker 3: You know what.
- 21:05Speaker 4: That's fine, she's no mind. She's a marketer, so she
- 21:08Speaker 4: knows what to do. I can write up the little
- 21:10Speaker 4: listening you put it on trade me or whatever if
- 21:13Speaker 4: you as long as you've got a good photographer and
- 21:15Speaker 4: a good videographer, and maybe film a little video, because
- 21:17Speaker 4: half of those are bloody cheesy when you watch them
- 21:19Speaker 4: as well, and you go, oh god, I'm thinking, ship
- 21:21Speaker 4: I reckon, I could do this. Okay, what do you reckon?
- 21:24Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 21:25Speaker 3: I can totally. Yeah, I can see you're doing that.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Keezy have a crack, definitely. Do you want to have
- 21:30Speaker 3: a bit of a run? Maybe give it a try,
- 21:31Speaker 3: I mean give it a try with us fatals mogie
- 21:34Speaker 3: and I would come and say.
- 21:36Speaker 4: As like a young couple, Yeah, like a young couple,
- 21:39Speaker 4: Yeah some way, and I'll show you through the house.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Yeah sure, absolutely, it's true.
- 21:43Speaker 3: We'll do that next day.
- 21:46Speaker 4: If we do that next Okay, well don't we do
- 21:47Speaker 4: that next? Sore? We go?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Should we do it next?
- 21:50Speaker 4: After this?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Okay?
- 21:51Speaker 1: The whole Key Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 21:54Speaker 1: tune in.
- 21:56Speaker 6: Four on radio.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Gorilla's there on the radio. Hold Nokey Big. She had
- 22:00Speaker 3: this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty one minutes past
- 22:03Speaker 3: five o'clock. Now, Keyesy's been really bagged by real estate
- 22:06Speaker 3: agents and he reckons.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Not all really, but a yes. So we had a
- 22:12Speaker 4: look at the house over a few houses over the weekend.
- 22:14Speaker 4: The first two guys were really nice and shelled the
- 22:15Speaker 4: third she was a young woman and she was one
- 22:18Speaker 4: of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. Yeah, she
- 22:20Speaker 4: wasn't read because she was a woman though. No, no,
- 22:24Speaker 4: because now people are going to think it's the impression
- 22:26Speaker 4: that you gave.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I'm just sort of covering your arm. Sure, Sure, because
- 22:29Speaker 3: I put the siren on there. Yeah, you know what
- 22:32Speaker 3: I mean.
- 22:33Speaker 4: I'm not very good at impressions anyway. So that's my bed.
- 22:37Speaker 4: So we're going to a run through where you've come
- 22:39Speaker 4: to view my house. Sure, I'm selling it privately and sale.
- 22:43Speaker 5: I always think of those sorts of people who do
- 22:45Speaker 5: private sales as people that sort of do home schooling
- 22:49Speaker 5: for something, sort of they don't drink the water because
- 22:51Speaker 5: it's got flu ride and they're a little bit whacker,
- 22:53Speaker 5: you know. Anyway, we'll see what kind of freak you
- 22:55Speaker 5: do to be.
- 22:56Speaker 3: And they wear like sackcloth and always go to health
- 22:58Speaker 3: stores all the time.
- 23:00Speaker 4: You yeah, totally all right. So I'm the real estate agent.
- 23:04Speaker 4: You've just pulled up outside my house there and you've
- 23:07Speaker 4: popped out of the car, right, good, Hey, guys, welcome
- 23:10Speaker 4: to up in my house? Is actually my house is
- 23:12Speaker 4: a private sale? How you going?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah? Good? Thanks? Good?
- 23:16Speaker 4: Yeah cool. I'm cres by the way, Nice to meet you.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah you too.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm Mike, Mike what was your name?
- 23:22Speaker 5: Sorry, he's got good with people. Just eat everything through me,
- 23:28Speaker 5: right because he fires that. He's got a hell of
- 23:31Speaker 5: a team problem. So I'm just saying, and you know,
- 23:33Speaker 5: it's just would we just look at the house please?
- 23:36Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:37Speaker 4: Yeah, no worries. Sorry, So Mike, was it? Is there
- 23:40Speaker 4: anything you'd like to know about the house before we
- 23:42Speaker 4: get in there? What are your neighbors like, man, any
- 23:44Speaker 4: knacks on the street? Well, I don't know what. No,
- 23:47Speaker 4: I don't think that'd be knacks. Although, to be honest,
- 23:49Speaker 4: we've never really done anything like illegal. Are you planning
- 23:51Speaker 4: on doing some legal It doesn't surprise me. Hey, nana,
- 23:54Speaker 4: Oh why do you ask? Okay, well, let's go over
- 23:56Speaker 4: looking then, just coming here into the lounge. Through the lounge,
- 24:01Speaker 4: nice open space.
- 24:02Speaker 3: There smells of wheeze a bit. You got a cat
- 24:05Speaker 3: or something?
- 24:06Speaker 4: No, we don't have a cat.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Smells very ammony.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Sorry, what was your name?
- 24:10Speaker 8: Man?
- 24:11Speaker 4: Just direct that question to me? So what was? Can
- 24:14Speaker 4: you just inform your partners that your partner, yeah, that
- 24:18Speaker 4: we don't have a cat.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Actually quite a personal question, but anyway, yeah, what that is?
- 24:23Speaker 3: He my partner?
- 24:25Speaker 4: Sorry?
- 24:26Speaker 3: Do we just see the house please?
- 24:27Speaker 4: Just that you're holding hands? Yeah? Sure, So this is
- 24:30Speaker 4: the lounge as you can see, it flows nicely into
- 24:32Speaker 4: the kitchen area.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Wow, we'll be putting the wall taking a wall out.
- 24:38Speaker 4: We'll hang on because we just took the wall out
- 24:40Speaker 4: and you can put one back. Have you still got it? No, sorry,
- 24:43Speaker 4: because we'll put it back the entire wall. That would
- 24:44Speaker 4: save us some money.
- 24:46Speaker 3: If you've still got the wall, Yeah, we'll put it
- 24:47Speaker 3: back in.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Okay, So you're pretty keen to cruel space looking man?
- 24:51Speaker 4: Spacious underneath? Yeah, it's about a meter high, i'd say
- 24:55Speaker 4: up on paths. Sounds good.
- 24:56Speaker 3: But you got stuff on the roof. There a space
- 24:58Speaker 3: in the roof.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Yeah, there's like pink beats in that up there. Anything
- 25:02Speaker 4: reflective out there. You've got any ten foil or anything
- 25:03Speaker 4: like that up there? No, I've got anyway. Yeah, but anyway,
- 25:10Speaker 4: let's go down the hallway here. It's okay. Look at
- 25:12Speaker 4: the space of bedrooms, fellers. Look at these in built wardrobes.
- 25:15Speaker 4: You know, plenty of room. Pretty standard. Wow. I don't
- 25:18Speaker 4: know if you've been around Auckland, so that standard to
- 25:20Speaker 4: have built.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Well.
- 25:21Speaker 5: I didn't come out for an argument, mate, Sorry, just
- 25:23Speaker 5: stick to you. Just all the things that we've seen.
- 25:25Speaker 5: It's pretty standard, right, So just so you know the
- 25:27Speaker 5: market that you're operating in, men, Yeah, and I know
- 25:29Speaker 5: this is the only house you're selling. Like often we'll
- 25:31Speaker 5: go and look at the house and we'll be dealing
- 25:33Speaker 5: with the real estate agent. They might be selling thirty houses,
- 25:35Speaker 5: so they really understand the market.
- 25:37Speaker 4: You're only selling one. So I'm just selling you these
- 25:39Speaker 4: bedrooms standard.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah. And can I just a little tip for you there, buddy,
- 25:44Speaker 3: maybe think about your dove covers a little bit, right.
- 25:47Speaker 3: I know what's going on there with the pineapples, but my.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Wife likes pineapples, all right, I chose that one in
- 25:53Speaker 4: the spare room.
- 25:55Speaker 1: The whole actual Big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 25:59Speaker 1: and Cheesy.
- 26:00Speaker 3: System of it down there on the radio Honucky Big
- 26:03Speaker 3: Show this Monday afternoon. The time is five point thirty four. Now.
- 26:07Speaker 3: If you want to win an n ZI Post package
- 26:10Speaker 3: from one of the fellows here thanks to our mates
- 26:12Speaker 3: at in Zi Post for Father's Day, give us a
- 26:14Speaker 3: call right now on oh eight hundred Hodaki and we
- 26:16Speaker 3: see if it can sort you out.
- 26:18Speaker 4: That's right. You'll have to choose for your particular father
- 26:20Speaker 4: between my package, Mogi's package, or Hoidi J's package. And
- 26:25Speaker 4: just a reminder that this Sunday, first of September is
- 26:28Speaker 4: in fact Father's Day. That can't be right, man. It's
- 26:30Speaker 4: ages away, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, it's not actually that
- 26:32Speaker 4: far away. It's only five or six days away, al right, five.
- 26:36Speaker 4: So if you want to send a package and get
- 26:38Speaker 4: it to your dad on time, make sure you send
- 26:39Speaker 4: it by the twenty eighth, which is old Wednesday.
- 26:41Speaker 2: There.
- 26:42Speaker 5: I was talking to someone earlier today and they were
- 26:43Speaker 5: violently adamant it was miles away, right, yeah, yeah.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Violently adamant. Yeah, that doesn't sound correct.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Aperplect that almost?
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah, what is.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Are you good with Father's Day? Keizy? You strike me
- 26:56Speaker 3: as a sort of fellow. That probably is good. You
- 26:58Speaker 3: get your father's stuff.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I always get my dad's that's for it. I'll use
- 27:02Speaker 4: he's had to buy for because he's got a case
- 27:04Speaker 4: of the sort of thing that I've got with. If
- 27:06Speaker 4: I want something, I just buy it. Oh, because you've
- 27:09Speaker 4: got so much money.
- 27:10Speaker 3: No, it's because I can't be like it because in
- 27:12Speaker 3: a gaming podcast, day's rolling it in?
- 27:16Speaker 4: Can you not do a drive by my gaming podcast
- 27:18Speaker 4: by the way? Please? But no, he but like he's
- 27:21Speaker 4: got everything he wants, you know what I mean? So
- 27:23Speaker 4: you have to surprise him with something. But now basically
- 27:25Speaker 4: just a restaurant voucher or something. Really, would you go
- 27:28Speaker 4: to restaurant virture? Yes, that's right. They love going out
- 27:31Speaker 4: for dinner. It's like their hobby eating. I'd have to
- 27:34Speaker 4: be able to get my idea of the restaurant, virtu.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Why don't you?
- 27:38Speaker 3: Why not? Why why haven't you?
- 27:41Speaker 5: Ah, he's passed away, all right, Yeah they don't.
- 27:49Speaker 4: There's no point. Make sure you go to the Sorry
- 27:55Speaker 4: about that. You keep forgetting about that. Let's go to
- 27:57Speaker 4: Josh from Wellington.
- 27:58Speaker 6: There man, Yeah, mate, how's the go Josh?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Oh, I've got a couple of them.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well yeahd on you mate. That's sign of
- 28:09Speaker 3: the ages, really, isn't it. We've all got like six
- 28:12Speaker 3: dads and about fifty grandparents the weekend.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Nice, Hey, Josh, So you're going to have to choose one of
- 28:18Speaker 4: our packages to send to one of your dads. This
- 28:20Speaker 4: particular dad you're going to send it to. What about
- 28:23Speaker 4: him is so great?
- 28:26Speaker 2: The fact that he's lacking in the hair department.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's really sweet.
- 28:30Speaker 3: That's lovely.
- 28:31Speaker 4: It's really nice, Josh, because he got a T shirt
- 28:34Speaker 4: because there's a dad.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Most dads have got a T shirt that says it's
- 28:37Speaker 5: not a bald spot, it's a solar panel for a
- 28:39Speaker 5: sex machine.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Is your dad a sex machine? Would you say?
- 28:43Speaker 2: The Josh? Monday to Friday? He is, Yeah, on the
- 28:47Speaker 2: weekend though.
- 28:47Speaker 3: It just takes the weekend off for your nice different Well, listen, Josh,
- 28:51Speaker 3: we're going to talk about our packages now yourself and
- 28:55Speaker 3: you get to the side. We'll go with Keyesy's package
- 28:58Speaker 3: for you, shall we?
- 28:59Speaker 4: My pair agains Josh Aka, your daddy will like it.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Hang on, hang on reading on my package. It's a
- 29:06Speaker 4: nice socket set there, a fat Freddy's Drop final based
- 29:09Speaker 4: on a true story, and a Links Africa gift pack.
- 29:13Speaker 4: That's my package.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah, my package, Josh, feeling really good about it at
- 29:19Speaker 3: the moment because no one's picking it.
- 29:21Speaker 4: But go on, you'll find out why, Josh. Listen to this.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Two boxes of scorch dilmonds.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Josh, it's about seven dollars of value.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Lovely packet of jockey underwear, about four or five peers
- 29:35Speaker 3: in there, and.
- 29:38Speaker 4: A soap on a road. Yeah, it's about twenty bucks.
- 29:42Speaker 5: A well, I've got a backbone T shirt there for
- 29:46Speaker 5: your old man, a warrior's jersey which is going to
- 29:51Speaker 5: be hugely up valued next year and when we start
- 29:54Speaker 5: caning it. Next year is our year after all, and
- 29:56Speaker 5: a little head message there if you know what I'm
- 29:58Speaker 5: talking about.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It just sounds perfect considering he's got no here.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yeah, whose package do you want? Josh?
- 30:07Speaker 2: I would love Mogi's package.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Good choice, mate.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Can I just make your point what it's not about you?
- 30:14Speaker 3: It's not about the money, It's not about how much
- 30:16Speaker 3: it's worth.
- 30:17Speaker 5: No, it's about the gifts, right, it's about which gift thought,
- 30:22Speaker 5: which gift is going to show your dad most that
- 30:23Speaker 5: you appreciate him.
- 30:24Speaker 4: And a couple of box of chuk is in some
- 30:26Speaker 4: mondays the same thing. Yeah yeah, anyway, Josh again, you
- 30:30Speaker 4: have a pugstar on there, mates and he'll sort you out.
- 30:34Speaker 4: That's your final chance to win that for you. Dare,
- 30:36Speaker 4: by the way, so if you've missed out, you have
- 30:38Speaker 4: to go and buy you.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Go, Jase, anybody interested in your little package, your tiny
- 30:41Speaker 5: little package that you got the No.
- 30:43Speaker 3: One to my package.
- 30:45Speaker 1: The whole Arky Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 30:49Speaker 1: and Keysy.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Lead Zepplin There on the radio Hodarky Big Show this
- 30:53Speaker 3: Monday afternoon. The time is five forty six. Some interesting
- 30:56Speaker 3: sporting action over the weekend. Let's get into that.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Cla clan, clan, What sports do you want to chat about? First?
- 31:09Speaker 3: I think we should start off with the magnificent legend
- 31:12Speaker 3: that is Lydia Coe.
- 31:14Speaker 4: If we're gonna do that.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Golf chat with double Bogeye Mogie.
- 31:21Speaker 4: So good.
- 31:26Speaker 5: Hell of a performance, wasn't it. There she was in
- 31:29Speaker 5: the window of the range. She was fortunate that the
- 31:31Speaker 5: overnight leader. Just had an absolute shocking Yah absolutely collapse
- 31:35Speaker 5: in the face of the switch. You can only imagine
- 31:38Speaker 5: would be insurmountable stress and pressure going into the last
- 31:41Speaker 5: day trying to retain a lead, and in the end
- 31:45Speaker 5: she couldn't do it, and Lydia co held her nervous
- 31:48Speaker 5: she did when winning her Golden Paris this year, and
- 31:51Speaker 5: doesn't she.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Do it's all proud of.
- 31:53Speaker 5: I've seen Jason has already chat about her winning the
- 31:57Speaker 5: award next year for the Halberg. Yes, should we consider
- 32:00Speaker 5: a lock for the Hellberg? My answer would be yes,
- 32:02Speaker 5: I would say so.
- 32:04Speaker 4: And then two weeks later a major Yeah, hell.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Of a run because in many ways, the last of
- 32:09Speaker 3: a year and a half she's been in the wilderness
- 32:11Speaker 3: a little bit. She's been really, really, really struggling with
- 32:14Speaker 3: her game. But it just shows the champion that she
- 32:17Speaker 3: is that she wins the gold medal, then she wins
- 32:20Speaker 3: the British Open. Life is good for her. Over twenty
- 32:23Speaker 3: million in career earnings plus all the sponsorship. I reckon
- 32:26Speaker 3: she should just put her feed up and retire and
- 32:28Speaker 3: have a good time.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Well that's exactly what she plans to do. I can't
- 32:31Speaker 4: remember how old are your co is? But when she's thirty,
- 32:34Speaker 4: I think she's twenty nine. Now, yeah, she gets thirty,
- 32:37Speaker 4: she's hanging it up. She's done.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Yeah, what an amazing career, What an amazing human being.
- 32:42Speaker 5: I also understand that even though she has won all
- 32:44Speaker 5: of that money, Jason, it is not an insignificant sum.
- 32:49Speaker 5: She's also engaged or indeed married, the sun of the Hyundai,
- 32:57Speaker 5: the chairman of Hyundai Wow manufacturers. So yeah, look, money's
- 33:01Speaker 5: not an issue. They've got Jundas coming out of the ears.
- 33:05Speaker 3: I don't imagine getting my food box, do you know
- 33:09Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 33:10Speaker 4: Where does Shondai money rate compared to like Dog Squad money.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Well, they're pretty similar, really pretty similar actually on the
- 33:18Speaker 3: market there keys He's.
- 33:19Speaker 4: So one of the biggest automotive companies in the world
- 33:20Speaker 4: is almost on par with Dog Squad, almost not.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Quite far out wish Hey, Now, an interesting thing happened
- 33:27Speaker 3: to me on I thought you were going into a
- 33:30Speaker 3: song there thought. I was sitting on my couch on
- 33:34Speaker 3: Sunday morning and my wife, my wife said to me,
- 33:40Speaker 3: are you watching the America's Cup? And I went.
- 33:43Speaker 9: Bloody hell, that's right, because I think it started on
- 33:47Speaker 9: the twenty food maybe. So I went onto Channel three,
- 33:50Speaker 9: which which is broadcasting it, and lo and behold there's
- 33:54Speaker 9: the America's Cap. Now, if you ever said to me
- 33:56Speaker 9: ten years ago, Jase, would you like to watch people sailing?
- 33:59Speaker 9: I would have gone, sir, I couldn't think of anything
- 34:01Speaker 9: more boring in my life. But I'm an edit for
- 34:04Speaker 9: the America's Cup.
- 34:05Speaker 3: I don't know why. I just find it and trawling. Unfortunately,
- 34:10Speaker 3: technology is a great thing, but in this case, it's
- 34:13Speaker 3: made the America's Cup exceedingly dull.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Oh really, what's happened?
- 34:18Speaker 3: Basically, whoever wins the start wins the race. I think
- 34:23Speaker 3: in the first like ten races, not one pass. There's
- 34:28Speaker 3: no tacking duels. It's just go the start line first
- 34:32Speaker 3: and put the foot down. See you laid up to
- 34:34Speaker 3: Apart from the last race, which was between Lunarosa and
- 34:37Speaker 3: New Zealand, we had the lead and they overtook us,
- 34:40Speaker 3: but then they got penalized and we went in the year.
- 34:44Speaker 3: And I have to say it is they are incredible,
- 34:49Speaker 3: incredible beasts, these yachts, but you don't see anyone sailing.
- 34:52Speaker 3: They're all in the hole. So it's it's just kind
- 34:55Speaker 3: of weird.
- 34:55Speaker 4: What you was boats hone around people pulling rope.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and you want to see them saying it's sailing
- 35:01Speaker 3: and having tacking duels, and you know the lead up
- 35:04Speaker 3: coming and going, but it's not happening rolls with the technology.
- 35:07Speaker 3: It's quite kind of boring.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Hang on a question. Where is the America's Cutlas year?
- 35:11Speaker 3: It's in.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Such a beautiful horizon, Keysy Barcelona. And also it goes
- 35:18Speaker 5: for about six weeks, doesn't finish around about October the twelfth.
- 35:22Speaker 5: There's all sorts of regettas and carry on, which on
- 35:26Speaker 5: one did.
- 35:29Speaker 3: But they all look pretty fast, I'll say that. So
- 35:31Speaker 3: I don't think you see on the streets here like
- 35:33Speaker 3: we normally are. Is it a David Vibe.
- 35:36Speaker 1: The whole Achi Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 35:41Speaker 1: and Keezy.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Dave Bowie there on the radio Hodaki Big Show this
- 35:45Speaker 3: Monday afternoon.
- 35:45Speaker 4: The time is five or six David bow Yeah, man,
- 35:50Speaker 4: why do you say like that?
- 35:52Speaker 3: Because I knew you put me up on because you've
- 35:54Speaker 3: been doing it all days. Guys, another opportunity.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Just lift your game, all right? Yeah?
- 36:01Speaker 3: Assure then? Hey, speaking of what what's for teen us?
- 36:06Speaker 3: Getting with me.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Speaking of left in our game, we're going to go
- 36:11Speaker 5: to one of our most successful segments on radio.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Exactly, exactly, that's right. It's the segment where you text
- 36:16Speaker 4: in on three four eight three what you're having for dinner,
- 36:19Speaker 4: and in exchange, we read it out on the radio.
- 36:21Speaker 4: These two probably bag it and then you win a
- 36:23Speaker 4: fifty on a night and day. Oh you might.
- 36:25Speaker 3: You're in the drawer. Certainly, we don't. We don't always
- 36:27Speaker 3: bag it. Keys are quite nice.
- 36:30Speaker 4: Yeah, some of them are foul of course, three four
- 36:32Speaker 4: eight three? What are you having for tea?
- 36:34Speaker 8: Do that?
- 36:34Speaker 4: And we'll get into that after six. Yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Also, what's on the TV with markem and Hog If
- 36:38Speaker 3: you haven't heard that before, make sure you're tuning after
- 36:41Speaker 3: sex because that's a real.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Dude, you're turning it into a movie. Wow, what's about that?
- 36:46Speaker 4: After six?
- 36:48Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 36:53Speaker 3: He's a d a massive bagbones. You are listening to
- 36:56Speaker 3: the Big Show brought to you by Night. That was
- 37:07Speaker 3: so good. Hey. You know, if you're into podcasts, you
- 37:11Speaker 3: should listen to our podcast outro which is bonus material
- 37:14Speaker 3: we do outside of the radio show. It's a bit
- 37:16Speaker 3: more relaxed or not. It's a bit more rat sometimes
- 37:19Speaker 3: it's a bit more free flying. Go and check it out.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Today's one. I can't have no idea what we were
- 37:25Speaker 3: talking about.
- 37:26Speaker 4: It's about your wife and her work. Does say you
- 37:32Speaker 4: work in radio and do f al while I'm actually
- 37:35Speaker 4: doing a job that helps people.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Never weirdly enough, never?
- 37:39Speaker 4: No, Ok, she should.
- 37:43Speaker 3: It's been a busy couple of weeks, so she's a
- 37:45Speaker 3: bit more, you know. She gets four day weekends every week,
- 37:48Speaker 3: all right, Yeah, and two half days, which is still
- 37:53Speaker 3: more than I work in a week. It's interesting, isn't it,
- 37:59Speaker 3: because of people think radio well you're doing is sitting
- 38:02Speaker 3: there and talking to it. But it's hard work, fellows
- 38:06Speaker 3: heap hard.
- 38:07Speaker 5: I got a cough at the moment from doing this show.
- 38:09Speaker 5: I noticed nobody cares.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I always find, actually on the Monday that my throat
- 38:13Speaker 3: always goes a bit wobbly while I'm doing the show
- 38:15Speaker 3: because I haven't really spoken that much during the weekend.
- 38:18Speaker 4: And then all of a sudden you're walking in this way, yeah, and.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Then it's just talking, talking, talking the whole time. You know,
- 38:24Speaker 3: it's hard work New Zealand. Hey know, liston Texas three
- 38:29Speaker 3: eight three and let us know what's for tea in
- 38:32Speaker 3: your house? And when you get into that next show, beautiful.
- 38:36Speaker 1: The Wholearky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 38:40Speaker 1: Keezy Radio.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Here there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday evening.
- 38:44Speaker 3: But right now it's time for tikes.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Here from Steve.
- 38:49Speaker 3: What's for Tea, New Zealand.
- 38:51Speaker 4: With me Kid.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Yellow Wheese that crash you can't remember the monkey porn
- 39:02Speaker 3: doesn't like monkey porn? Edmund boy Voucher.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Kid No Voucher Boy, Captain Edmund? Can I say, Jay,
- 39:14Speaker 4: since you started dying you're here, it's looking really good man.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Thanks man. It's that magic powder that they put in
- 39:20Speaker 3: it so good.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Someone actually messaged me over the weekend being I didn't
- 39:23Speaker 4: after seeing Jason person, I didn't realize he died is
- 39:25Speaker 4: here and I was like, nah, he doesn't do that, man,
- 39:27Speaker 4: But then it turns out he does. Yeah, but he
- 39:29Speaker 4: puts powder in it though, Yeah, powder boy, Blackening, powder boys,
- 39:34Speaker 4: powder puff. A lot of people taxing it on three
- 39:37Speaker 4: Fight three what they're having for dinner fellas, which is great.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Yell like, what, well, get a fella's bread here? Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 4: texting him from christ chitch tonight, I'm having fried chicken
- 39:49Speaker 4: and mesh with gravy. Fried chicken and mesh with gravy.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Kind of gravy chicken gravy out of a packet, Maggie, you.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Got any green beans in there? When you don't get
- 40:01Speaker 3: a body like bread pet by not eating your greens?
- 40:04Speaker 4: So I missed their part. Brussels sprouts and beans, no
- 40:07Speaker 4: spinach muscles. Okay, it's interesting. That sound young. He probably
- 40:12Speaker 4: pukes it up later though.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Oh yeah, no doubt good A guys hey chee chee here?
- 40:20Speaker 8: Who chee chee chee chee and chongy It sounds racist?
- 40:25Speaker 4: Comedians cheach and chong Chi.
- 40:28Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 40:28Speaker 4: Did they great comedians? The movie Up and Smoke. Watch
- 40:31Speaker 4: that one, Keezy if you haven't seen it already. Very good,
- 40:33Speaker 4: very good. I'm making beef strong enough.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Well, I think the background summed that up perfectly. Well.
- 40:42Speaker 3: I'm not a big fan of a beef strogan. I've
- 40:45Speaker 3: never maybe had a good one, that's all.
- 40:47Speaker 5: They could be part of it, but oftentimes you wouldn't
- 40:49Speaker 5: use the beef cat to go and a strong enough
- 40:51Speaker 5: you know what I mean, you're dealing with a pretty
- 40:53Speaker 5: horrific cat. Yes, at that point. Is it a wine
- 40:56Speaker 5: in there? We've got some kind of an alcohol in there,
- 40:57Speaker 5: don't we think there's a red Yeah?
- 40:59Speaker 3: I believe so.
- 41:00Speaker 5: Yeah, but the mash? Will you save it when we're younger?
- 41:02Speaker 5: It's yeah, it's fine.
- 41:04Speaker 4: Across the road.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I would go for a snitzeer rather than But I
- 41:09Speaker 3: know you didn't have good Sure.
- 41:12Speaker 4: It's funny because you said Beecke strogging off and then
- 41:16Speaker 4: corrected yourself. You're really opened yourself up for a bit
- 41:18Speaker 4: of a nose joke there, but it didn't happen. Good Ay, guys,
- 41:21Speaker 4: Pete here from christ here.
- 41:23Speaker 5: It's Pete Peter Plumley Walker, that's.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Right, former cricket umpire and yeah, and died over the
- 41:33Speaker 4: hook of falls. Not Peter dinklic No, that would be ridiculous.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Definitely Peter Plumley Walker. Ah, homemade chicken curry made with
- 41:42Speaker 4: love by my thirteen year old daughter.
- 41:44Speaker 3: I guarantee that it'll be foul.
- 41:48Speaker 4: It's not very good for her confidence.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Well, she's probably not listening to the show, so that's okay.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I mean I love kids cooking, they're just not.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Very good at it.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Tyler here feelers, Oh my god, Tyler Peterre the actor,
- 42:03Speaker 5: he's African American keysy. It's very very funny, very funny actor.
- 42:07Speaker 5: Have you not seen any of his film? No, it's
- 42:08Speaker 5: not it's just sound the racism. Sorry, no, I can't believe.
- 42:12Speaker 4: You haven't seen any of his.
- 42:14Speaker 6: Man.
- 42:18Speaker 4: That's not that's not necessary.
- 42:24Speaker 5: Tyler Durden, Yeah, from Fight Club. Yeah, that's what it was.
- 42:28Speaker 5: Good a flowers.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Tonight, I'm having some fat, old pork chops with the
- 42:32Speaker 4: old marsh and gravy and a couple of bruskies to
- 42:35Speaker 4: wet the whistle cheers and gravy. That's a couple of
- 42:37Speaker 4: mation gravy with here tonight. Well, it's winter in New Zealand.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I'll be honest with you. I don't mind a bit
- 42:41Speaker 3: of mash and a bit of gravy, you know, action
- 42:44Speaker 3: a pork chop pork chops, Yeah, not so much unless
- 42:48Speaker 3: it's an apple sauce.
- 42:48Speaker 4: I've got a real thing. Oh god, you're and your
- 42:50Speaker 4: fruit fruit.
- 42:53Speaker 3: You've got to have apple sauce with pork.
- 42:55Speaker 4: I disagree. Okay, it's funny because the other day, we
- 42:58Speaker 4: were watching it on YouTube. You can watch like videos
- 43:00Speaker 4: of people preparing food and restaurants. We're watching one of
- 43:02Speaker 4: like a really old guy making an oud On soup
- 43:06Speaker 4: that had made for decades. Yeah sure, and it's like
- 43:08Speaker 4: really complex and there's all these different flavors and stuff,
- 43:11Speaker 4: and meanwhile we're just sitting there eating a pork chop.
- 43:14Speaker 4: I was just like, man, this sucks.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Hold Arkey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 43:26Speaker 3: And Kesey is indeed Mutton Birds there on the radio.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Hold Arkey Big Show this Monday evening. But right now
- 43:32Speaker 3: it's time for What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 43:41Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yea.
- 43:53Speaker 5: Hi guys, what did I watch? I watched The Instigators
- 43:58Speaker 5: on Apple TV. You guys heard about this one.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Who's in that one? Ben Fleck? I seen the thumbnail
- 44:03Speaker 4: Ben a Fleck. That's not true.
- 44:04Speaker 5: Casey Fleck and Matt Damon quite like the Academy of Water.
- 44:08Speaker 4: He's very good.
- 44:09Speaker 5: He's a smarter role he's played a million times before.
- 44:12Speaker 5: It's about a bank robbery that goes wrong. It feels
- 44:15Speaker 5: like something you've seen a million times before. Directed by
- 44:19Speaker 5: Doug Lyman, who's done some very good films, including one
- 44:21Speaker 5: of my favorites, which is the Edge of Tomorrow, which
- 44:25Speaker 5: is the one with old Tom Cruise. And he also
- 44:27Speaker 5: did the Bourne movies. Yes, so very good director. But
- 44:31Speaker 5: the last movie he did was Roadhouse, that one with
- 44:34Speaker 5: Jake Gillen Hall that you hate it, that I absolutely hated.
- 44:37Speaker 5: This is some of the most boring tat that you'll
- 44:42Speaker 5: ever see pedaled out as an excuse for a movie.
- 44:45Speaker 5: Zero tension, zero steaks, relies entirely on star power.
- 44:49Speaker 4: They're good.
- 44:50Speaker 5: I gave it about forty forty five minutes and it
- 44:52Speaker 5: was just I'd rather be doing anything else. I'd rather
- 44:56Speaker 5: be looking at the wall than watching that kind.
- 44:59Speaker 4: Of just wow, terrible.
- 45:01Speaker 5: I mean it's not terrious, that's fine, but I'm so
- 45:05Speaker 5: old that I've seen so many of them. I'm just
- 45:07Speaker 5: I don't need to watch another one of these. It's
- 45:09Speaker 5: got Ron Perlman in it as well, yes, like as
- 45:11Speaker 5: an individual, massive LANs and head on the bass he does,
- 45:14Speaker 5: doesn't it. It's a big head. But yeah, Apple TV,
- 45:18Speaker 5: I give it. I'm gonna wait mine. In terms of
- 45:22Speaker 5: should you watch it, I give it zero buzzies.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Sure, okay out of five. Yeah, I won't bother then,
- 45:27Speaker 3: even though I don't have Apple. I went to see
- 45:29Speaker 3: a movie with my wife last night called We Were Dangerous. Yeah,
- 45:35Speaker 3: a New Zealand film is the one.
- 45:37Speaker 4: You were like, Oh, I'm gonna go watch this New
- 45:39Speaker 4: Zealand film on Sunday.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Yes. I was like that, that's absolutely right, Kesy and
- 45:44Speaker 3: I was like, oh, for God's sake, m But I
- 45:49Speaker 3: really enjoyed it. Um. It's basically the story of sort
- 45:53Speaker 3: of delinquent girls who have misbehaved and get put in
- 45:56Speaker 3: this home. The home then gets moved to this remote
- 46:00Speaker 3: island where they're disciplined by the matron, who is Luema Tiwata,
- 46:06Speaker 3: who is always great iconum. And it gets very sinister
- 46:12Speaker 3: because the authorities decide that actually, because these girls are delinquent,
- 46:18Speaker 3: because they're sexual perverts, they'll never amount to anything. Let's
- 46:22Speaker 3: sterilize them, sure you know what I mean, so that
- 46:25Speaker 3: they can never have kids. The performances beautiful and the
- 46:31Speaker 3: young girl I can't think of her name at the
- 46:33Speaker 3: moment who played Daisy, who's about sort of fourteen years old,
- 46:38Speaker 3: such an amazing performance. My only criticism of it was
- 46:42Speaker 3: that it wrapped up very quickly, right, like the storyline
- 46:45Speaker 3: was going on quite nicely, and then it went do
- 46:48Speaker 3: do do in a story right, and which was disappointing.
- 46:51Speaker 3: But having said that, it was only about you know,
- 46:53Speaker 3: seventy minutes long or something like that, really, which I appreciate.
- 46:56Speaker 3: I appreciate as well. Yeah, it didn't feel very long. Yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 3: it might be longer than that. Maybe it was eighty that.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Might have been. Was it Erina James in the role
- 47:06Speaker 4: of Daisy?
- 47:07Speaker 3: Possibly? All I know about her is that, because my
- 47:10Speaker 3: wife knows that the director quite well, was that she'd
- 47:12Speaker 3: never auditioned in her life Mania Hall. She did it
- 47:15Speaker 3: as a joke, the audition and was just brilliant.
- 47:20Speaker 5: It's how Anna Paquin got the piano as she went
- 47:23Speaker 5: along with her sister who was auditioning, and then was
- 47:25Speaker 5: asked to audition herself.
- 47:26Speaker 3: And can I also say that, actually all the actors
- 47:28Speaker 3: in that show were.
