- 0:08Speaker 1: Hello, my loves It is Lala Kent. Welcome to the
- 0:12Speaker 1: Give Them La La with Jessica Podcast. Today.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Why every one, long time no talk?
- 0:19Speaker 1: So today I have a very special guest. She goes
- 0:23Speaker 1: by the name of Britney cart Right, yay, Brittany, We're
- 0:26Speaker 1: gonna have a mommy podcast because our babies are. I
- 0:29Speaker 1: think they're like three weeks apart, are they? Yeah, they're
- 0:32Speaker 1: three weeks apart, and Ocean and Summer Moon are six
- 0:35Speaker 1: weeks apart.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So close.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's so crazy because when they're at this stage, like,
- 0:42Speaker 1: for example, you look at Hartford and even though Hertford,
- 0:45Speaker 1: I think, is like two months older than Ocean, it
- 0:48Speaker 1: seems like they're like one hundred years apart.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they're you know, they all look so different.
- 0:53Speaker 1: They all look so different. They're like the tiniest little
- 0:55Speaker 1: things where you know, Hartford's crawling around and she's like
- 0:59Speaker 1: a baby. Yeah. I just am curious, like, what is
- 1:02Speaker 1: Cruise doing? Right?
- 1:04Speaker 2: You know, are any of the babies walking yet?
- 1:06Speaker 1: No? None of them are walking? Okay, and Ocean was
- 1:09Speaker 1: PREMI so you know, we still do tummy time and
- 1:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to teach her how to crawl and get
- 1:15Speaker 1: her strength. She is very petite, so like her legs
- 1:18Speaker 1: don't even touch the ground when I put her in
- 1:21Speaker 1: her walker. Where you look at Cruise and Hartford, Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and they're in their little walkers and they're like hauling
- 1:28Speaker 1: ass around the house. Stop. She is so tiny, She's
- 1:32Speaker 1: a peanut.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Her legs don't touch My legs don't touch either of you, guys.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I'm five to one when I sit on couches or
- 1:37Speaker 2: stuff like that, so we so I know how ocean feels.
- 1:41Speaker 1: That's fun funny. So I'm excited for today's podcast. I
- 1:46Speaker 1: obviously want to acknowledge that I'm sure everyone knows what
- 1:51Speaker 1: is going on between Randall and myself and just in
- 1:55Speaker 1: my personal life, there will be a time where I
- 1:59Speaker 1: feel come sable enough to open up and share. Today
- 2:04Speaker 1: is definitely not that day. Oh It's been a lot.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I'm going through a lot, and I just at this
- 2:13Speaker 1: point in time, want to protect my child. She's my
- 2:17Speaker 1: number one priority. And I know what I signed up for.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm on a reality television show, but in this moment,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's not about me. It is about my kid, and
- 2:32Speaker 1: privacy is the only thing that I'm looking for for her. Sake.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And with that being said, I'm kind of putting my
- 2:42Speaker 1: steps into play that. You know, we work on an AA,
- 2:44Speaker 1: which is one day at a time, sometimes it's one
- 2:47Speaker 1: minute at a time, and that doesn't just apply to
- 2:50Speaker 1: me with drinking, which surprisingly, even with everything that's going on,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I feel like I've never felt stronger in my sobriety.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you said that to me a couple of weeks ago,
- 3:06Speaker 2: he said, I've never felt I've never felt less like
- 3:12Speaker 2: I want to pick up a drink, or like I
- 3:14Speaker 2: feel so strong in my sobriety. Yeah, and I think
- 3:17Speaker 2: that's amazing.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And with what's going on, you know, obviously my sponsor
- 3:22Speaker 1: we communicate all the time, but she said, during this time,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I need you to call me at least once every
- 3:31Speaker 1: single day. You know, I'm three years in, so at
- 3:33Speaker 1: the beginning I was talking to my sponsor daily, hourly, secondly,
- 3:39Speaker 1: you know, but three years in, it's like I'm tough.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I communicate with her often, I still do my AA meetings,
- 3:45Speaker 1: but during this time, she said, I need you to
- 3:46Speaker 1: call me at least once a day. Done. I do
- 3:48Speaker 1: that And I told her, I was like, it's so
- 3:51Speaker 1: weird because I feel strong in my sobriety as it is,
- 3:55Speaker 1: but with everything that's going on, like, I don't know,
- 3:59Speaker 1: how is the last thing on my mind? Right, you know?
- 4:03Speaker 1: And she said to me, and I get chilled. She goes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: that's because you have God with you. I was like,
- 4:08Speaker 1: oh my god, this is so crazy that, like, you know.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent. And I also think it's proof
- 4:14Speaker 2: that if you put in the work. Look at you,
- 4:17Speaker 2: Like you said three years ago, you had to talk
- 4:19Speaker 2: to your sponsor every day now, you know, or every hour,
- 4:22Speaker 2: every minute. Now you talk to her once a day
- 4:24Speaker 2: because she asks. But like, you put in the work,
- 4:28Speaker 2: you learned different tools from programs, different things to help
- 4:32Speaker 2: with your sobriety, and then something big happens in your life.
- 4:36Speaker 2: And some people who are sober it might have been,
- 4:38Speaker 2: you know, challenging for them, but this you put in
- 4:40Speaker 2: the work and you're like, I'm great, I'm writhing in
- 4:44Speaker 2: my sobriety. And I think that's amazing for people to hear.
- 4:47Speaker 2: If you put in the work and you do the work,
- 4:50Speaker 2: then then it pays.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Off, right, Yeah, Because sobriety is not an easy path
- 4:55Speaker 1: to choose, and it takes a village to keep someone sobern.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know, I've always said I sit in rooms with
- 5:02Speaker 1: so many inspiring people who have, you know, twenty plus
- 5:05Speaker 1: years of sobriety under their belt. But I always say
- 5:09Speaker 1: because people will come to me and they'll say, I've
- 5:11Speaker 1: only been sober for thirty days, And it's like, but
- 5:15Speaker 1: we're all in the same boat, because whether you have
- 5:16Speaker 1: twenty five years or you have five days, we're all
- 5:21Speaker 1: one slip up away from being back to square one? Right?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Does that? No? One undred percent? Yeah, And that's like,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I mean, I I don't know. I can't relate because
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'm not in the program. I'm not sober. I don't
- 5:35Speaker 2: you're enormy.
- 5:36Speaker 1: No, your enormy.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I mean ask my college friends. I don't know if
- 5:41Speaker 2: they say that, No, but I just don't struggle with that.
- 5:45Speaker 2: You know, we all have our own personal struggles. But
- 5:47Speaker 2: I think it's incredible. I have family members who are
- 5:50Speaker 2: in the program. I have people I love and respect
- 5:52Speaker 2: who are in the program and watching you, and it's
- 5:55Speaker 2: just it just brings a whole different level of respect
- 5:59Speaker 2: for all of you who deal with that.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Truly, it's incredible. I have so many people that I
- 6:03Speaker 1: look at in the program that I see on my
- 6:05Speaker 1: meetings and I'm like, you're a fucking badass. Yeah.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And speaking of fucking badasses, I just want to remind you,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you guys, how lucky you are. Whoever is listening to
- 6:16Speaker 2: this and loves Lalla. I want to say, amazing choice
- 6:21Speaker 2: because when I first started working for Lalla, I told
- 6:24Speaker 2: her in the interview, I said, you know, my parents
- 6:28Speaker 2: have always told me surround yourself with people who inspire you.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And I knew, of course, I knew who Lala Kent was,
- 6:34Speaker 2: and I was.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Like, she's awesome.
- 6:35Speaker 2: She's a reality star, but she's taking her platform and
- 6:38Speaker 2: she's becoming a businesswoman and she's killing it. And right now,
- 6:44Speaker 2: I could have never guessed that Laala would inspire me
- 6:48Speaker 2: as much as she has up to this point. And
- 6:50Speaker 2: these past just a couple weeks watching Lalla be the strong,
- 6:55Speaker 2: badass woman she is, I've learned more about just like
- 6:58Speaker 2: strong female empowerment in the past couple of weeks watching
- 7:04Speaker 2: Laala just be the badass that she is that I
- 7:06Speaker 2: have in most of my life.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Wow, Jess, that is really thank you for me. No,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you're a badass, You're a fucking soldier. There's something that
- 7:16Speaker 1: changes in you when it's like you're no longer you know.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I know a lot of badass women, but there's nothing
- 7:22Speaker 1: like a badass woman who is a mother. I've seen that.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Laala and her mom Mama bears.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Well, it's like like it's amazing. Well, now you know
- 7:35Speaker 1: what your mo Well, now I know you'll one day
- 7:38Speaker 1: see what your mom feels for you when you give birth. Yes,
- 7:42Speaker 1: for me, Now you know, my mom said the other day,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Ocean loves being with you. Look how happy she is.
- 7:47Speaker 1: And I said, I get it because I love being
- 7:49Speaker 1: with you and I'm so happy with you. So I
- 7:51Speaker 1: can imagine what she feels because I feel it.
- 7:53Speaker 3: For my own mom.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I know an ocean smile and laugh is so cute.
- 7:56Speaker 2: That like, when I want to see her smile and laugh,
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm like, Laala, talk to her because it's the cutest thing.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And she lights up when she sees Lala and Chee Chee,
- 8:03Speaker 2: which is Lala's mom.
- 8:05Speaker 1: She's just everything she was What did you do for Halloween? What?
- 8:09Speaker 2: Oh my god, did you do anything wild Halloween?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Over here, she's already working her ass off, so I'm
- 8:15Speaker 1: sure she was not getting buck wild.
- 8:18Speaker 2: So what I used to dress up a lot. Now
- 8:21Speaker 2: it's just like the thought of dressing up and putting
- 8:24Speaker 2: in the effort was just like too much for me.
- 8:28Speaker 2: My boyfriend Kyle and I we watched scary movies. Okay,
- 8:33Speaker 2: we made homemade pizza, We got a ton of candy,
- 8:36Speaker 2: and that's what we did. We sat home and I
- 8:40Speaker 2: got to tell you it was the best, It was
- 8:42Speaker 2: the greatest. But I want to know what you did
- 8:44Speaker 2: for Halloween?
- 8:45Speaker 1: Did you dress? Oh? Fun facts? Okay that I have
- 8:49Speaker 1: not dressed up for Halloween since I was twenty one.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I went to my older brother's house for Halloween party
- 8:55Speaker 1: and I wore an Eminem costume that I got in
- 8:59Speaker 1: elementary school.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Wait, like Eminem, like not the rapper.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Like a blue Eminem.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Okay, yes, because I was a great Eminem when I
- 9:08Speaker 2: was Twelve's amazing.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I was the blue Eminem. That was the last time
- 9:13Speaker 1: I dressed up. And we just stayed so where I
- 9:17Speaker 1: am right now, we call it the treehouse. We stayed
- 9:20Speaker 1: at the treehouse. Me Oh Gigi, my sponsor, came over.
- 9:25Speaker 1: We ordered a pizza and we watched hocus Pocus and
- 9:29Speaker 1: talked and that was it.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Did ocean dress up.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Well, my mom claims she dressed up, but it was
- 9:35Speaker 1: like I ordered her this baby Yoda costume and it
- 9:38Speaker 1: never came. Oh no, So I had this zebra beanie
- 9:42Speaker 1: like it's like a zebra head that I just put
- 9:44Speaker 1: on her with a striped onesie and I'm like, you're
- 9:47Speaker 1: a zebra here it is.
- 9:48Speaker 3: That's so cute, I know.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Can I tell you like Jackson Britney's costume.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I didn't even see it.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Wait, were the Greatest Showman? Stop?
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm actually is it on Insta?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yes? And Brittany put the she was the bearded woman.
- 10:03Speaker 1: They looked so fantastic. I couldn't even believe it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Wait, I'm looking it up on Instagram right now. Oh
- 10:09Speaker 2: my gosh, it's so good. All three of them Greatest Showman.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It looks amazing.
- 10:17Speaker 1: They're they kill it now.
- 10:19Speaker 2: They killed it.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Stossy and Bow and Hartford looked awesome.
- 10:24Speaker 2: What were they?
- 10:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:27Speaker 3: He done?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Saucy and Sacy she's like known to be.
- 10:30Speaker 1: She love Halloween right. Yeah, last year when she was pregnant,
- 10:34Speaker 1: she put this like it looked like a rip in
- 10:37Speaker 1: her stomach with a little newborn baby coming out of
- 10:39Speaker 1: it and it was phenomenal.
- 10:41Speaker 2: That's amazing. Okay, So Stossy, yeah, what is she? Of
- 10:46Speaker 2: the ghosts that haunt this house? Phineas Clark, his loving
- 10:50Speaker 2: wife Mildred, and their daughter Adelaide departed this life on
- 10:53Speaker 2: the thirty first of October. So I feel like the
- 10:56Speaker 2: causes of their death are own known. I don't know, but.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I feel like they're ghosts that haunt the house.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Okay, that's what that is.
- 11:03Speaker 1: But like, what wait, do you think someone died in
- 11:05Speaker 1: their house and that's what they're doing? Is this their house?
- 11:08Speaker 1: That's their house? Oh it is? Yeo, and Stossy's morbid
- 11:12Speaker 1: like that.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Of course Stossy would live in a haunted house. I
- 11:16Speaker 2: love that.
- 11:18Speaker 1: So curious to know the backstory. But don't they look great?
- 11:21Speaker 1: They look incredible. They look so good.
- 11:23Speaker 2: They should have done a photo shoot or something like
- 11:25Speaker 2: a legit photoshoot. These are amazing.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Every time we film vander Pump Rules, even when we're
- 11:30Speaker 1: not filming, my friends slash cast members love a theme. Yeah,
- 11:35Speaker 1: I cannot get down with it.
- 11:36Speaker 2: You don't, you can't? Oh no, what is the what
- 11:40Speaker 2: is your Is there a halloween costume that you've warned
- 11:42Speaker 2: that You're like, this was amazing, Like I did it,
- 11:45Speaker 2: I did Halloween? Write or have you never felt that way?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Now? Never? There was one time for monster mash in
- 11:52Speaker 1: high school. Yeah, Skyline the high school I went to,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and Cottonwood High School, which had the finest men ever
- 11:59Speaker 1: at that Yes, con One, we're so fine. And we
- 12:05Speaker 1: had our dance together for some reason. Oh fun, and
- 12:08Speaker 1: I dressed up as like a provocative Harry Potter and
- 12:12Speaker 1: I felt so cute.
- 12:14Speaker 2: We gotta find this photos.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Oh, don't worry. I've kept them because I'm like, you
- 12:18Speaker 1: look so cute.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna try and convince Laa to post them on
- 12:21Speaker 2: her social stone.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Be fine them. My mom's gonna have to find it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But there I felt so cute. I love that. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I love that.
- 12:29Speaker 2: So anyway, I think that's a lot of fun. I'm
- 12:31Speaker 2: glad that you guys had a great Halloween. I can't
- 12:33Speaker 2: believe we pretty much did the same thing. Actually, I
- 12:36Speaker 2: can believe we're very similar. Anyway, So before we move
- 12:41Speaker 2: on to this fun episode with Britt, I just want
- 12:43Speaker 2: to know how are you feeling in this very moment.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Oh, in this very moment, I feel strong, I feel hopeful,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and I feel like it's weird jes because I, for
- 13:08Speaker 1: the first time, have no idea what my future holds.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I don't know what each day is going to look like.
- 13:18Speaker 1: And for a really long time, I've had a schedule
- 13:21Speaker 1: where everything is planned out. My future was ahead of me,
- 13:24Speaker 1: and I was like, this is the plan. And I'm
- 13:28Speaker 1: kind of just letting the universe take control of my
- 13:32Speaker 1: life and place me where I need to be. I'm
- 13:34Speaker 1: not questioning anything. I used to say my prayers every
- 13:41Speaker 1: night and randomly on drives. I would just fill the need.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I know most of you are like la la saying prayers.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I grew up saying prayers with my dad, like it
- 13:50Speaker 1: was just our nightly thing. I pray every single night.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I'm praying often, and I'm just putting it in God's hands.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Like I'm not questioning a single thing. Wherever I end up,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I know that's where I'm supposed to be.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I love that. I love that. It's beautiful. You're glowing.
- 14:07Speaker 2: The treehouse has like the most amazing energy.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Do you want to know why I'm glowing?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Why?
- 14:12Speaker 1: Because my sheet masks came out forgive them while of skin.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, And it's pretty much the goat.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It is actually amazing, you guys. I got a little
- 14:21Speaker 2: taste of it. I may or may not get some
- 14:23Speaker 2: things ahead of time, and it's the greatest.
- 14:26Speaker 1: It's so good. It's called stay Calm, And internally when
- 14:31Speaker 1: I first tried it, I was like, I am not calm,
- 14:33Speaker 1: but I'll be damned if my skin doesn't work calm.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yes, well, congrats, it's exciting.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Thank you, my love. So before we bring our guests out,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Brittany cart Right, We're going to cut to a short
- 14:46Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. We are back
- 14:51Speaker 1: with one of my best friends in the whole world,
- 14:54Speaker 1: Britney cart Right. You had the best costume ever for Halloween.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Though.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Let's just like start off by saying.
- 15:00Speaker 3: That, thanks so much.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Absolutely love Halloween, and it was our first little family costume,
- 15:05Speaker 4: so I went all out.
- 15:07Speaker 1: You always go all out there. Oh. I love it.
- 15:09Speaker 1: When I see pictures of your house during the holidays,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I want to live there.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Oh, Christmas is like ten times Halloween.
- 15:19Speaker 4: It's like a winter wonderland in my house, and I
- 15:21Speaker 4: freaking love it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I love it too. So we all of the mommies
- 15:26Speaker 1: are in a group chat and we were sending our
- 15:28Speaker 1: costume ideas, and you had you had a couple that
- 15:32Speaker 1: you had sent, but you didn't go with either of those.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 4: I was wanting to do like ace Ventura Pet Detective
- 15:37Speaker 4: because with a little too too, because cruises hair is
- 15:40Speaker 4: so long. I wanted to do that. I wanted to
- 15:42Speaker 4: do like Danny and Sandy and you know, like a
- 15:44Speaker 4: little tea Bird yea, But I feel like everybody does those,
- 15:47Speaker 4: so I wanted to do something different and hardly anybody does, like,
- 15:52Speaker 4: you know, like Bearded Lady and the strong Man.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And I had Nice Strower's.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Assistant just what we were calling Jackson's costume.
- 15:59Speaker 1: It was beyond amazing. Hey, you were the hottest bearded
- 16:03Speaker 1: lady I'd ever seen in my life.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I'm so hot. I was like, oh my god, this
- 16:06Speaker 3: beard covers my double chin. I love it. I was like,
- 16:11Speaker 3: I love this beard.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I looked amazing. And I've actually never seen anyone dress
- 16:15Speaker 1: up as the greatest showman.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Yeah I know I haven't either, so that's why.
- 16:19Speaker 4: And I thought about just being like a ring master
- 16:21Speaker 4: or something, but I was like, that's so basic.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I gotta turn it up.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And not you gotta go to beard on exactly.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 16:26Speaker 1: How did you put that beard on?
- 16:28Speaker 4: I use like, what's it called Halloween gummy glue or something,
- 16:32Speaker 4: so it actually is for your face. So I glued
- 16:35Speaker 4: put glue on my face and on the beard and
- 16:37Speaker 4: stuck it to me and it stayed on all night long.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I know, I was taking a shot.
- 16:42Speaker 3: To take a shot with the beard on. It is
- 16:44Speaker 3: really weird?
- 16:44Speaker 1: Wait is it really? Yeah?
- 16:45Speaker 3: And I brushed my teeth with that beard on and everything.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I was like, I don't know.
- 16:49Speaker 4: No, Like before I went to the party, I brushed
- 16:51Speaker 4: my teeth and I was like, how do men do this?
- 16:56Speaker 3: It was not I mean, that's the only part that
- 16:58Speaker 3: was kind of weird.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I know, I mean, and it was intense. It wasn't
- 17:01Speaker 1: just like a little facial.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Hair, Oh no, it was a full on beard like it.
- 17:03Speaker 4: I think it might have been human hair.
- 17:05Speaker 3: She was real.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And cruise. You put on a little mustache.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Oh yeah, wait, so he wore that for two hours
- 17:13Speaker 4: before he even started.
- 17:14Speaker 3: No, it was a little stick on mustache.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Okay, so we wore it for two hours.
- 17:17Speaker 4: He wore it for two hours at the party and
- 17:19Speaker 4: didn't even touch it. And then I had like back
- 17:21Speaker 4: so I bought a whole pack of mustaches, and if
- 17:24Speaker 4: he didn't want to wear it, or if he took
- 17:25Speaker 4: it off, I could put another one on. But he's
- 17:27Speaker 4: kept it on for over two hours. So I was
- 17:28Speaker 4: just like, you did.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So good, I'm not gonna put it back on.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Okay, so cute. I know Jackson Brittany really well and
- 17:34Speaker 1: I've spent a lot of time with them and Cruisy.
- 17:37Speaker 1: And Cruisy is the biggest dream baby in the entire world.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like it.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Oh thank you. He is a little sweetheart.
- 17:47Speaker 1: He's so sweet, he's so chill. He can he literally
- 17:51Speaker 1: will sit there for hours entertaining himself.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he entertains himself so good. He sits there
- 17:56Speaker 4: and plays. I mean, we got super lucky. I thought
- 17:59Speaker 4: we were either gonna have like a terror child or
- 18:01Speaker 4: I don't know, right with me and Jack's together, but
- 18:03Speaker 4: he is just oh yeah, but he has a little
- 18:06Speaker 4: doll baby. I always hear that the second one, though,
- 18:08Speaker 4: might be a terror So we'll see.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Wait, second baby, when do you think that you're ready
- 18:13Speaker 1: for that?
- 18:13Speaker 4: Well, we always have said, like when Cruiz was about
- 18:16Speaker 4: a year old, I wanted to start trying at least
- 18:19Speaker 4: because here goes.
- 18:19Speaker 3: It might not happen as easy as it did this time.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I mean, I've heard a lot of people have a
- 18:24Speaker 4: hard time getting pregnant the second time around. So we've
- 18:27Speaker 4: always said that he's already over six months now, it's
- 18:30Speaker 4: like time is flying. I still want too soon, but
- 18:33Speaker 4: we'll see if it's going to be a year, if
- 18:34Speaker 4: it'll be a little bit later. But I definitely want
- 18:36Speaker 4: them to be close in age.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I get that. Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 4: I want them to grow up and be friends and
- 18:40Speaker 4: be able to be in the same school. So you're
- 18:42Speaker 4: not going to twenty five different schools.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That's like a lot, no, right, like keep them. I
- 18:46Speaker 1: think Easton and I are like a couple of years
- 18:49Speaker 1: and some change. Yeah, and it's perfect.
- 18:51Speaker 4: See, that's perfect. My brother and sister were seven and
- 18:53Speaker 4: six years older than me, and we're close now. But
- 18:56Speaker 4: like growing up, like I stole on my sister's clothes.
- 18:58Speaker 4: She couldn't stand me. Yeah, I was annoying as hill
- 19:01Speaker 4: to her. So yeah, I can imagine exactly.
- 19:03Speaker 3: So I want my kids to be a little closer
- 19:05Speaker 3: at age for sure.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Whose idea was the greatest Showman costume?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Minda? Obviously Jackson was like, do I have to wear
- 19:12Speaker 3: a costume?
- 19:13Speaker 4: So I try to make his easy and then he
- 19:15Speaker 4: kind of got into it at the end.
- 19:17Speaker 3: He was wanting more blood, more this and that.
- 19:18Speaker 4: I was like, you didn't even want to dress up,
- 19:20Speaker 4: and now you're asking me if I have blood the
- 19:22Speaker 4: day of Halloween.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I don't relate to that though, because I don't know
- 19:26Speaker 1: if you remember Sandoval's party like a few years ago
- 19:30Speaker 1: where he came in on stilts.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Was that the extra party? Yes? Yes, yes, that was
- 19:34Speaker 3: like a cowboy extra cowboy or a cowgirl. Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I hate dressing up. The last time I dressed up
- 19:39Speaker 1: for Halloween, I was telling my listeners, I dressed up
- 19:43Speaker 1: as a blue eminem when I was twenty one. But
- 19:46Speaker 1: I did dress up for his for Santa Bal's costume party,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and I remember being like so put out by it,
- 19:52Speaker 1: and then once it started, I was like, ooh, I'm
- 19:54Speaker 1: going to do this.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Oh wait, you wore that like slowly dress.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It was nothing. It was a pink too to it
- 20:00Speaker 1: looks cute. No, yeah, like it was not a big deal.
- 20:03Speaker 1: It was hot though, it was just like you know,
- 20:05Speaker 1: like I enjoyed it.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I say, once you get into it. It makes it fun.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Afterwards, Jack's was like, Oh, I'm definitely gonna get into
- 20:11Speaker 4: this now that we have a son. I was like, see,
- 20:13Speaker 4: I told you, if you just start doing it, you
- 20:16Speaker 4: feel so fun and get into it.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I have a special place in my heart for Jack's Taylor.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I know he's been so kind yes, and such a
- 20:26Speaker 1: cute dad with Cruise. I mean they're like little they
- 20:29Speaker 1: have like little boys times. Oh yeah, little besties, like
- 20:32Speaker 1: when you go out if you have like girl time.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Mm hm.
- 20:35Speaker 1: The night we went out for Janet's, our friend Janet
- 20:38Speaker 1: got engaged and he went out, but he videoed and
- 20:42Speaker 1: was like, mom's gone, we got sweet.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Potatoes, we got milk.
- 20:47Speaker 2: He's so cute.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Oh, he's so good with him.
- 20:49Speaker 4: And whenever I was pregnant, and even like on the
- 20:51Speaker 4: show with a Bunch of Jacks would always say, when
- 20:53Speaker 4: she has a baby, I'm not gonna take care of
- 20:55Speaker 4: him by myself until he's at least six months old.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Like he was so scared. But I went to Vegas
- 21:00Speaker 4: for my friend's bacherette party for two nights. I came
- 21:02Speaker 4: home a night early because I missed the baby too much.
- 21:05Speaker 4: But I like didn't worry about cruise at all.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Of course. I mean I still facetimed every two hours.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Right, But that's just because I missed the baby, not
- 21:12Speaker 4: because I didn't trust Jack.
- 21:13Speaker 3: So he's doing amazing. I'm super proud of him.
- 21:16Speaker 1: It's amazing. And of course you would miss your baby.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I had. I had to go to New York, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: I was it was like torture. Every time I facetimed ocean,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I was like sobbing my eyes out. Yeah, you know,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and then they start reaching for the phone and you
- 21:28Speaker 1: can tell that they're reaching for the phone.
- 21:29Speaker 3: What's so sweet?
- 21:31Speaker 1: It's so sweet, such as love our little baby so much.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I you said that cruise is already what six months,
- 21:38Speaker 1: and well, he'll be he'll be seven months on the twelfth,
- 21:41Speaker 1: on the twelve.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Yeah, so their ocean and cruise are like almost exactly
- 21:44Speaker 4: a month apart, a little less than a couple of
- 21:46Speaker 4: days short of a month.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yeah, And cruise, you said at a six month appointment
- 21:53Speaker 1: was twenty two pounds.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Twenty two pounds and almost thirty nine inches long.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Wait, thirty nine twenty nine scared? I was like, sorry,
- 22:06Speaker 1: nine twenty nine, Well, because I see you at the airport,
- 22:09Speaker 1: on the Instagram and you have him stropped to the
- 22:11Speaker 1: front of you.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Oh, that is a much easier way to travel. I'm
- 22:13Speaker 4: getting better and better at traveling every time. But traveling
- 22:16Speaker 4: alone with your baby, you have to bring those little
- 22:19Speaker 4: baby carriers.
- 22:20Speaker 3: It is everything you're so bad at.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Oh.
- 22:22Speaker 3: It makes the biggest.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Difference in trying to have your stroller and put in
- 22:26Speaker 4: a stroller bag by yourself with a baby.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It's at work. It's like I can imagine.
- 22:31Speaker 3: But I'm getting better coming a pro pro traveler.
- 22:34Speaker 1: How is he on plan?
- 22:36Speaker 3: He's amazing.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Like he cried for let's say it was a five
- 22:40Speaker 4: almost five hour flight. He cried for maybe ten minutes
- 22:44Speaker 4: and then slept for four.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Hours three hours.
- 22:48Speaker 4: You're a damn line the entire time he probably cried
- 22:51Speaker 4: or ten minutes total. So Kentucky, Yeah, he was like
- 22:54Speaker 4: he was so good.
- 22:55Speaker 1: You know, Ocean, he's gonna be great. He's so sweet.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Ocean was good too, though, whenever Ocean, but that's what
- 23:02Speaker 1: I mean. Ocean is a great baby. She is so
- 23:05Speaker 1: for me to say, like cruises like cruises a more
- 23:09Speaker 1: chill baby than Ocean, and Ocean's like chill as it gets.
- 23:12Speaker 3: She is chill.
- 23:13Speaker 1: She a diva though, well she had to catch up
- 23:17Speaker 1: where she was a little early, so her little bailly
- 23:18Speaker 1: and stuff had to catch up. But she is like
- 23:21Speaker 1: so chill she is, and she loves her bouncer. Yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 1: you know the swing thing is I got too nervous
- 23:27Speaker 1: about the one you hang in the doorway. Yeah, God forbid,
- 23:31Speaker 1: I put it on because I build everything that I get,
- 23:33Speaker 1: and so you built it too. I know. That's why
- 23:36Speaker 1: I can talk to you about it. But all like
- 23:37Speaker 1: google videos on how to build, like the high chair.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I think we have the same high chair from Amazon,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and I google how to build it, and it's like
- 23:44Speaker 1: a man like it's like this dad, that's showing you,
- 23:47Speaker 1: And I'm like, what is this? Oh?
- 23:48Speaker 3: I won't even let Jack touch any of that stuff.
- 23:51Speaker 1: He does it too quickly.
- 23:52Speaker 4: No, he doesn't read the instructions. He just actually he
- 23:55Speaker 4: doesn't even want to try. He knows that I'll do it,
- 23:57Speaker 4: so he's just like, uh, here is this thing, Brittany.
- 23:59Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, I.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Like your pictures. You do all of them.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 24:03Speaker 4: If I get focused on something, I have to finish
- 24:05Speaker 4: it too. Like I can't just like start a project
- 24:07Speaker 4: and like somebody be like, well I can help you
- 24:09Speaker 4: with that.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I'd rather just like do myself because you know how
- 24:12Speaker 1: it's gonna exactly.
- 24:13Speaker 3: I'm not trying to have you lose the scruise.
- 24:16Speaker 1: That's the biggest thing exactly.
- 24:20Speaker 4: But yeah, Chris doesn't have one of those little swings.
- 24:23Speaker 4: I saw hers downstairs and it was like, super cool.
- 24:27Speaker 1: You have to get in one. He'll have the best time.
- 24:29Speaker 3: He has a bounty seat, but not like a swing
- 24:31Speaker 3: like that.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I saw it on Sheena's Instagram store and was like,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I have to have that where she sits there for
- 24:38Speaker 1: hours and really, oh my god, you try to take
- 24:40Speaker 1: her out of it, She's squealed.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Maybe I should get one.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Oh, Cruise would be hopping around like a chance.
- 24:46Speaker 4: He loves his walker. He just walks everywhere. It's insane
- 24:49Speaker 4: to see that.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Okay, so when you when I see videos of Hartford
- 24:55Speaker 1: and Cruise in there, those big walkers so cute. I
- 25:00Speaker 1: don't mean that your babies look like this guy, but
- 25:03Speaker 1: the way they move, you know, mister water noos on
- 25:07Speaker 1: monsters inc.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, that is like a perfect example.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Me and Jack's always say he looks like the floats
- 25:14Speaker 4: that are at like car salesman, you know, like the
- 25:17Speaker 4: big tall ones that go in the air, that go
- 25:19Speaker 4: in the waves or whatever.
- 25:21Speaker 3: That is what we always said. But mister Walters, it's hilarious.
- 25:24Speaker 1: They look like that, like that's how they move around.
- 25:27Speaker 3: He's just smiling, like moving his arms back and forth.
- 25:30Speaker 3: It is so cute.
- 25:31Speaker 1: What is the biggest challenge with being a mom that
- 25:36Speaker 1: you and it could be anything like once you had Cruise,
- 25:39Speaker 1: what was the biggest challenge that you were like, I
- 25:41Speaker 1: did not expect this at all.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Oh goodness, I mean there's so much that you don't
- 25:46Speaker 4: people parents don't really talk about that, you know, you know,
- 25:48Speaker 4: like after having the baby, especially like the postpartum stuff
- 25:52Speaker 4: like that was a lot different than what I thought
- 25:55Speaker 4: it was gonna be, Like the gross stuff.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Like what do you like the likewy yes, like how
- 26:01Speaker 1: sore you are and how long you have bleed for
- 26:03Speaker 1: and all that stuff, like it was tough, and then
- 26:07Speaker 1: feeding is hard too, Like I kudos to you for
- 26:09Speaker 1: still being able to do it.
- 26:10Speaker 4: I mean I tried so hard and I dried up
- 26:13Speaker 4: after close to eight weeks.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I I always said, don't be married to the idea
- 26:22Speaker 1: of breastfeeding. Yeah, because you you may not be able,
- 26:26Speaker 1: it may not be an option. It always bothered me
- 26:28Speaker 1: when people asked are you going to breastfeed, because like, well,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I would like to. I hope that I can, but
- 26:34Speaker 1: that's not something that is easy to do exactly.
- 26:37Speaker 4: I went through like I was kind of sad and
- 26:39Speaker 4: stuff that I couldn't do that for my baby and
- 26:41Speaker 4: have that bonding time after. But I'm so glad that
- 26:43Speaker 4: I got the eight weeks in. At least he got
- 26:45Speaker 4: like all the classroom all that good stuff. But that's
- 26:48Speaker 4: a full time job. So good job for the mamas
- 26:51Speaker 4: who keep it going.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Especially for a whole year.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Shoo oh, it's a lot of work because I'll tell
- 26:55Speaker 1: you what, bread the full time that she has those
- 26:57Speaker 1: little dagger teeth.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Oh, I bet that's hard, so bad.
- 27:01Speaker 1: No, it's no joke. And she laughs about it. Oh
- 27:04Speaker 1: you know.
- 27:05Speaker 3: The little personality is coming out.
- 27:07Speaker 2: It's so cute.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah, And she grabs my nipples and like plays with
- 27:11Speaker 1: them as if they're like chew toys. And I'm like,
- 27:15Speaker 1: this is like not because there's those teeth are rigid
- 27:19Speaker 1: because they got to break through the Oh yeah, I
- 27:21Speaker 1: like fucking chan saws.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Oh gosh, I can't even imagine. Crais doesn't have any yet,
- 27:25Speaker 4: but he's close. But they haven't broken through.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Oh, they haven't broken through yet. No, well, trust me,
- 27:31Speaker 1: they like you see a little bit of white one
- 27:33Speaker 1: day and all of the sudden, it's like they've got
- 27:37Speaker 1: full on teeth.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Yeah, and I can't imagine breastfitting with that,
- 27:41Speaker 3: but good job.
- 27:42Speaker 1: We'll send you. Thank you. My nipples are well prepared
- 27:46Speaker 1: for any type of fun.
- 27:47Speaker 3: There you go.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You know. I'm with Britney Cartwright and we will be
- 27:51Speaker 1: right back. Hello, my loves. We are back. We're talking
- 27:57Speaker 1: all things ocean and cruise and just like being mom's
- 28:01Speaker 1: which is still very weird to Is it weird, Brittany
- 28:04Speaker 1: for you, Oh, it is weird.
- 28:06Speaker 4: It's weird that they're with us forever, you know, like
- 28:08Speaker 4: I thought you felt the whole time. I'm like, yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 4: he's with me forever, Like I don't have to give
- 28:13Speaker 4: him back to anybody like mine.
- 28:15Speaker 1: He's yours. That's how I feel like when I missed
- 28:18Speaker 1: and when I look at ocean, I'm like, what, like
- 28:21Speaker 1: what did I do to like deserve all as my
- 28:25Speaker 1: baby people serve?
- 28:26Speaker 3: Going we deserve good babies.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Deserve good babies. We were talking earlier about Ocean and
- 28:32Speaker 1: her tummy having to catch up. They took Ocean three
- 28:36Speaker 1: weeks early because her stomach wasn't growing. The doctor was concerned.
- 28:40Speaker 1: They took her out. But now she's fine. But I
- 28:42Speaker 1: had to deal with a lot of collic in the beginning,
- 28:45Speaker 1: and that's hard. Oh my god, that's very hard.
- 28:48Speaker 4: I know a lot of like my cousin's little baby
- 28:50Speaker 4: had colic and it was just non stop crying and stuff.
- 28:52Speaker 4: So I know how hard that can be. I'm very
- 28:55Speaker 4: glad that I didn't have to deal with that, but
- 28:56Speaker 4: I know it's hard on you and anybody else that
- 28:59Speaker 4: has to go through that.
- 29:00Speaker 1: But you had to deal with being sick, your entire
- 29:03Speaker 1: price exactly.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I think that's why maybe his stomach wasn't called like
- 29:06Speaker 4: gigas Mon was the entire pregnancy.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, No, he were so sick. I had never seen
- 29:10Speaker 1: anything like that. Yeah, And with Ocean, I remember calling
- 29:14Speaker 1: her pediatrician. I was like, she won't stop crying, Like,
- 29:18Speaker 1: and I go to a doctor or a pediatrician that
- 29:20Speaker 1: practices Eastern and Western medicine. So he like gave me
- 29:24Speaker 1: something to give to her. He's like, but how long
- 29:26Speaker 1: has she been crying? I'm like like forty five minutes straight,
- 29:29Speaker 1: and he started laughing and he goes call me when
- 29:31Speaker 1: she's been crying for three hours and then we'll do something.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I was like three hours.
- 29:36Speaker 3: My god.
- 29:37Speaker 4: It's like that friend's episode where they're like rock in
- 29:40Speaker 4: the baby because I woke her up, remember, yes, and
- 29:42Speaker 4: they're like, what is going on?
- 29:44Speaker 3: What did I do?
- 29:45Speaker 1: What did you do? And every time she was sleeping,
- 29:48Speaker 1: I would tell people like, do not fucking walk in
- 29:52Speaker 1: the room. Yeah, speak, don't move a muscle, because when
- 29:56Speaker 1: she wakes up, like her presence will be known for
- 29:58Speaker 1: a very long time.
- 30:00Speaker 3: So cute.
- 30:01Speaker 1: It was so intense.
- 30:02Speaker 4: But now she doesn't even do that anymore. I feel
- 30:04Speaker 4: like she's she's good right, like her stomach is caught up.
- 30:07Speaker 1: And stomach is caught up. She's still a little peanut.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry today. Yeah, she's adorable and she didn't care
- 30:14Speaker 1: she's gone. It's so funny because my mom will say
- 30:17Speaker 1: she's got so much hair, and I'm like, compared to
- 30:19Speaker 1: what she had when she was born, yes, yes, but
- 30:21Speaker 1: when you see my friend's babies.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Cruises like a little fobbio. I mean it is growing
- 30:26Speaker 3: so fast.
- 30:27Speaker 1: The man bun that you put cruise.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Oh, I loved the little man bun.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Do you do that often? No?
- 30:33Speaker 4: I mean honestly, that was the first day and I
- 30:35Speaker 4: was just like kind of testing it out. But his
- 30:37Speaker 4: hair is starting to get into his eyes, so I'm
- 30:39Speaker 4: trying to figure out different ways because I'm not cutting
- 30:41Speaker 4: his hair before he's a year old.
- 30:42Speaker 3: That absolutely not happening.
- 30:44Speaker 4: I think little boys are so key with long hair
- 30:46Speaker 4: under their little baseball caps or whatever.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I think it's adorable.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And he's a little California baby. We know you're from Kentucky,
- 30:52Speaker 1: but he's a little California exactly.
- 30:54Speaker 3: He's born here.
- 30:54Speaker 4: He was made in Kentucky, but he was born in Hell.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Like so, I don't know, I just like it did
- 31:00Speaker 4: herve it in so fast? Oh yeah, he didn't touch
- 31:03Speaker 4: it at all the entire day, and then like later
- 31:05Speaker 4: on we took it down because I didn't you know
- 31:07Speaker 4: how sometimes if you were a ponytail, like it starts
- 31:09Speaker 4: hurting your head.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Yeah, his was loose, but I was getting a little worried,
- 31:11Speaker 3: so I took it down.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Oh I love that, But ocean does this thing with
- 31:15Speaker 1: her bows now where she becomes the incredible hulk and
- 31:17Speaker 1: she grabs it and rips it down and the face
- 31:21Speaker 1: she makes is like like I bo it off my head.
- 31:26Speaker 4: I love Ocean's eyebrows because it's the best she had,
- 31:29Speaker 4: like the best eyebrows and the no hair for the
- 31:31Speaker 4: longest time.
- 31:31Speaker 3: It was a little man.
- 31:33Speaker 1: You just say, ever swear best eyebrolls and you are
- 31:37Speaker 1: working your ass off in the gym ring.
- 31:40Speaker 3: I'm trying four days a week with my girl Meghan.
- 31:43Speaker 1: So you know your trainer Meghan from How did you
- 31:46Speaker 1: meet her?
- 31:46Speaker 4: So? Meghan is from Kentucky as well. We used to
- 31:49Speaker 4: work together at Hooters of Lexington, so we worked together
- 31:52Speaker 4: for like a couple of years at Hooters.
- 31:54Speaker 3: She actually moved to la before me.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Okay, we always kept in touch and stuff, and then
- 31:58Speaker 4: whenever I moved here, we started like meeting up and
- 32:00Speaker 4: hanging out and stuff again.
- 32:01Speaker 3: And she's just an amazing trainer.
- 32:03Speaker 4: So it's awesome because we get to have fun and
- 32:05Speaker 4: laugh and stuff while I'm training.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Right, Like, you feel like it's a little bit of
- 32:08Speaker 1: a therapy.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, for sure, because they can like in
- 32:12Speaker 4: the car something you'll be like dreading going to the
- 32:14Speaker 4: gym or something. You know, it's sometimes hard to get going,
- 32:16Speaker 4: and then as soon as I get there, she's just
- 32:18Speaker 4: so like nice and cheerful and you know, a piece
- 32:21Speaker 4: of home.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Yeah, she's like the best.
- 32:23Speaker 1: So I've never seen anything Like I used to work
- 32:27Speaker 1: out with my trainer Jenna, and I'm telling like, whatever
- 32:33Speaker 1: you are doing, I've never seen that shit before. What
- 32:37Speaker 1: I see on your Instagram. I'm like, what even is
- 32:39Speaker 1: this contraption?
- 32:39Speaker 3: Oh it's insane.
- 32:40Speaker 4: I was doing sled pushes today, like where they put
- 32:42Speaker 4: the weights on top and it is so hard to do,
- 32:45Speaker 4: but like, my legs are going to kill me tomorrow,
- 32:48Speaker 4: absolutely kill me. But she knows what she's doing. I've
- 32:50Speaker 4: never and I was like, wow, Megan, you actually.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Know what you're doing, what you're talking about.
- 32:55Speaker 4: She's like, yeah, Brittany, I'm not just like an Instagram trainer.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Likes a lot of people in La are just like Instagram.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Everyone's on Instagram something.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Yes, but she just knows everything. Like I was like, hey,
- 33:04Speaker 4: this is this muscle here is hurting and she knows
- 33:07Speaker 4: every move to do to stop it and what's connected
- 33:09Speaker 4: to this.
- 33:11Speaker 3: She's awesome And how long have you been working out with.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Her since like right after I got so how long
- 33:18Speaker 4: do we I think we have to wait six weeks
- 33:20Speaker 4: after the baby, So I think I started around like
- 33:22Speaker 4: eight weeks because I was still a little too sore
- 33:24Speaker 4: to work out.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I can't imagine why you'd be sore pushing a human
- 33:28Speaker 1: out of you.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I was still a little too sore.
- 33:30Speaker 4: So I think since cruises, like eight weeks I've been
- 33:32Speaker 4: working with her. And then I was going all to September,
- 33:34Speaker 4: so I missed that month. But other than that, times.
- 33:37Speaker 3: A week, you look so good work.
- 33:40Speaker 4: In process or process work in progress.
- 33:44Speaker 3: But I'm proud of myself, for sure.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You should be. And I feel like that is another
- 33:48Speaker 1: thing that's really hard for women is like no one's
- 33:51Speaker 1: pregnancy looks the same. Oh yeah, and my mom said
- 33:54Speaker 1: when she was pregnant with me, she didn't gain much
- 33:57Speaker 1: weight and it was easy to lose it. But with Easton,
- 34:01Speaker 1: she said that that was much more difficult. Things had
- 34:04Speaker 1: like settled in. Yeah, and so it doesn't like each
- 34:07Speaker 1: pregnancy could be different.
- 34:09Speaker 4: I know I'm hoping if I get pregnant again, I'm
- 34:11Speaker 4: not gonna be so sick, you know, but just never know.
- 34:14Speaker 4: I mean my mom was like you, She had all
- 34:16Speaker 4: three babies and went right back down to a little
- 34:18Speaker 4: pencil right afterwards.
- 34:19Speaker 3: I was like wishing that was giving me my experience,
- 34:21Speaker 3: but it was not.
- 34:22Speaker 4: But you never know, maybe with the next one, I mean,
- 34:25Speaker 4: hopefully I'll be able to continue working out.
- 34:27Speaker 3: This time, I just thought, too sick last time.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Well you were, you were pretty much on bed rights. Oh,
- 34:32Speaker 1: because of how sick you were. Yeah, and it was
- 34:34Speaker 1: all day.
- 34:34Speaker 4: All day long, mainly in the morning and at night,
- 34:37Speaker 4: but sometimes just all day long.
- 34:39Speaker 1: And what did you crave when you were pregnant? Uh?
- 34:43Speaker 4: At the end, I mainly craved fruit, and I craved
- 34:45Speaker 4: a lot of avocado toast. And I don't know, that's
- 34:50Speaker 4: just like kind of at the end is whenever I
- 34:52Speaker 4: started noticing cravings like towards the beginning and stuff, I
- 34:54Speaker 4: don't really feel like I noticed anything different. But at
- 34:57Speaker 4: the end, I wanted fruit and I wanted those like
- 35:00Speaker 4: what do they call it, I'm gonna embarrass myself, asa
- 35:02Speaker 4: e bowls or bowls.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I used to call them a cowboles. She from Kentucky,
- 35:08Speaker 3: a kai bowl. Yeah, I craved all that stuff. What
- 35:14Speaker 3: did you cry? I don't remember you craving much.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I felt super nauseated at the beginning. In the first
- 35:20Speaker 1: three months, I didn't ever get sick like you and I.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I think I may have tossed my cookies, like maybe twice,
- 35:27Speaker 1: but I just felt nauseous, like nothing sounded good, which
- 35:30Speaker 1: was shitty because I'm was sitting there thinking, oh, I'm pregnant,
- 35:33Speaker 1: me whatever the fuck I want, yes, And then I
- 35:36Speaker 1: had no appetite. But then I started craving sushi all
- 35:39Speaker 1: the time, and you're not supposed to have sushi.
- 35:41Speaker 3: So I didn't really I don't remember you craving anything.
- 35:44Speaker 1: No, I didn't crave anything. Nothing really sounded good. I
- 35:47Speaker 1: didn't want any perier, which.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Is weird, yeah, because you're obsessed with that.
- 35:52Speaker 1: So mine was like I just like ate whatever I could.
- 35:55Speaker 1: When she wasn't growing, the doctor said you must go
- 35:59Speaker 1: and like feed yourself, Yeah, until you feel like you're
- 36:02Speaker 1: gonna vomit. Yeah. So I was just eating, like or
- 36:04Speaker 1: drinking a lot of smoothies.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 4: That's like the easiest thing to do whenever you're pregnant,
- 36:09Speaker 4: I think, is the smoothies, because like salads and stuff,
- 36:11Speaker 4: you're supposed to eat healthy but if you're a nauseous
- 36:14Speaker 4: all the time, a salad is the last thing that
- 36:16Speaker 4: you want.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You're trying to be a bunny rabbit. I'm feeling nauseous.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Trust me, I took advantage of eating whatever I could
- 36:21Speaker 4: whenever I could.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Of course, why wouldn't you. You're pregnant exactly, So baby's
- 36:26Speaker 1: got to be eaten good.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's doing great. So whatever what.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Is he doing now that he wasn't doing like last month?
- 36:34Speaker 1: Like what are little changes that you've seen in cruise?
- 36:36Speaker 4: Well, he sits up on his own. Now he's about
- 36:39Speaker 4: to start crawling. He goes backwards and stuff.
- 36:42Speaker 1: That's so cute.
- 36:44Speaker 3: He can't figure out how to go forwards.
- 36:45Speaker 4: But he did the same thing with his walker, Like
- 36:47Speaker 4: he used to only know how to go backwards in
- 36:49Speaker 4: his walker, and now he goes everywhere in his walker.
- 36:51Speaker 4: So I think any day now he's going to start crawling.
- 36:53Speaker 4: He waves high. That's so cute, and he says dada,
- 36:57Speaker 4: which is so annoying because I would did all that
- 36:59Speaker 4: hard work.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Did you work with him?
- 37:01Speaker 2: No?
- 37:01Speaker 4: Like me, Like I had to be sick every day
- 37:03Speaker 4: and oh yeah, yeah, he says, dad die first, But
- 37:07Speaker 4: my doctor even said whenever we write his six month appointment,
- 37:10Speaker 4: he was like, now, to be fair, dad, Dad has
- 37:13Speaker 4: a lot easier to say than mama.
- 37:16Speaker 3: So I was like, who I told you?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we buy with.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Each other and joke around, you know, joke about it
- 37:21Speaker 3: and be like he said, Dad, I first.
- 37:22Speaker 4: But you know I've always encouraged him to say bad
- 37:25Speaker 4: day and mama and everything. So I'm proud of him.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You should be proud of him. My little sweetheart, Ocean
- 37:31Speaker 1: is a little bit weaker than Cruisy. She she'll like stand,
- 37:34Speaker 1: she'll sit on all fours like, she'll be in position
- 37:37Speaker 1: and frall but then you can tell she gets tired,
- 37:40Speaker 1: a little wobbly, a little wobbly, and she can't quite
- 37:42Speaker 1: figure out how to like maneuver. But she can spin
- 37:45Speaker 1: herself in circle.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Yes, I think it's so cute when they do that
- 37:47Speaker 4: and the little Superman bellies looks like they're flying.
- 37:50Speaker 1: She feels like if she flies, like she use her
- 37:52Speaker 1: arms and legs out, then she'll fly to wherever the toy.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Oh, it is so cute. It's so cute. This stage
- 37:58Speaker 4: is awesome, It really is. Every age just like gets
- 38:00Speaker 4: better and better.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I feel like is Cruisy still sleeping next to you
- 38:04Speaker 1: or is he in his nursery.
- 38:05Speaker 3: It's definitely not in his nursery.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Yeah I can't.
- 38:08Speaker 4: I'm like, it's so hard to do. But he outgrew
- 38:11Speaker 4: his snow the bassinette that we were using. Yeah, so
- 38:15Speaker 4: I just put a pack and play beside me, and
- 38:17Speaker 4: he is beside me in the pack and play.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you and all of us were so into like
- 38:22Speaker 1: all of these pinteresty things. You would give me ideas
- 38:26Speaker 1: for what I was, you know, we should do for
- 38:27Speaker 1: my nursery, And I'm like a pack and play nurse.
- 38:31Speaker 1: That's what Ocean sleeps.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's the best.
- 38:33Speaker 1: It's her favorite thing.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Like I'll put him down for naps and stuff in
- 38:37Speaker 4: his nursery and I'm gonna start using it more.
- 38:40Speaker 3: But he's only six months old. One beside me, I
- 38:43Speaker 3: am the same way.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just not ready for him to be all
- 38:46Speaker 4: the way in his nursery.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I totally don't blame you at all. I'm the exact
- 38:50Speaker 1: same way.
- 38:51Speaker 4: I do wake up for every single sound and every
- 38:53Speaker 4: single peep or movement he makes.
- 38:55Speaker 1: But I'd rather that than me have to walk all
- 38:58Speaker 1: the way across to his nursery, a little baby light check. Actually,
- 39:03Speaker 1: do you do the thing where you see that if
- 39:04Speaker 1: they're back? Does she does crazy sleep on his back
- 39:06Speaker 1: or tummy.
- 39:07Speaker 4: So he just recently started sleeping on his stomach, and
- 39:09Speaker 4: that scared the shit out of me because he always.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Was a back sleeper, and I was like, oh my god,
- 39:13Speaker 3: oh my god, I've heard so much stuff.
- 39:15Speaker 4: But he's past that six month mark now, so I'm
- 39:17Speaker 4: not like so terrified about it.
- 39:18Speaker 3: He's sleeping on his stomach.
- 39:20Speaker 4: But the first couple of nights, I don't think I
- 39:21Speaker 4: got any sleep because I just stared at him the
- 39:23Speaker 4: entire time.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I was like, why is he on his stomach? Why
- 39:25Speaker 3: is he on his stomach? By on his stomach?
- 39:27Speaker 1: But now he's at the point where like he'll move
- 39:30Speaker 1: his hat, yes.
- 39:31Speaker 4: Exactly exactly. I mean he can like go anywhere in
- 39:34Speaker 4: the house if he wants to. He just can't physically
- 39:35Speaker 4: crawl yet. So I'm not too I'm not worried about
- 39:37Speaker 4: that kind of stuff. An, of course, we're still careful
- 39:40Speaker 4: blah blah blah.
- 39:41Speaker 1: But no, right, you're a parent, You're always gonna be careful.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Ocean will only sleep on her stomach. She has no
- 39:49Speaker 1: desire to sleep on.
- 39:50Speaker 3: See Hartford's always been like that too.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Kuriz will go like back and forth, back and forth,
- 39:53Speaker 4: but he just recently started the stomach thing.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a little intense when they do that.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but now I'm getting more to it. He likes
- 40:00Speaker 3: to sleep on his side too, like a grown up.
- 40:02Speaker 1: It's so these are our little human I know.
- 40:05Speaker 3: It's so crazy.
- 40:07Speaker 1: And does he sleep through the night.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Well, since he's been out of the snow and had
- 40:12Speaker 4: to move into the pack and play, he's not doing
- 40:13Speaker 4: as good. Like he would only wake up one time
- 40:15Speaker 4: for a bottle around like four in the morning and
- 40:18Speaker 4: then go back to sleep and not wake up again
- 40:20Speaker 4: till like eight or nine.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Like, he does sleep pretty good, but he's kind of having.
- 40:24Speaker 1: A little time. Well.
- 40:26Speaker 4: We he normally is asleep by like nine. I'd say
- 40:29Speaker 4: that's like normal for him. And then he, like I said,
- 40:33Speaker 4: we will wake up like three or four in the
- 40:35Speaker 4: morning for a bottle and then go back to sleep.
- 40:37Speaker 4: He's just been waking up a little bit more right now,
- 40:39Speaker 4: and I think it's because he got used to that
- 40:40Speaker 4: snow rocking him.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Back and forth in the ju night.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Yeah, and now he's just still on the pack and play,
- 40:45Speaker 4: so he's still doing good, but he just got to
- 40:47Speaker 4: get back into his routine.
- 40:49Speaker 1: STOSSI told me that Harford sleeps twelve hours, and I
- 40:51Speaker 1: was like, yeah, come again.
- 40:53Speaker 3: She goes down at like seven thirty.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm like, I don't get that. Yeah, Ocean
- 41:00Speaker 1: usually falls asleep around the same time as cruise. Yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 1: nine o'clock last night was awesome. She slept through the
- 41:06Speaker 1: whole night. She woke up at seven. Oh yeah, it's good.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Usually she'll wake me up around like six and then
- 41:12Speaker 1: she'll go back down until. Yeah. But it's when you
- 41:16Speaker 1: wake out of when you wake up out of that
- 41:19Speaker 1: rum cycle, you feel a little disorient.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, waking up all throughout the night is it's
- 41:25Speaker 4: not easy. And then having to go and be like
- 41:28Speaker 4: productive the next day.
- 41:29Speaker 1: You killed it. They'll break You're like super mom. Oh thanks, No,
- 41:33Speaker 1: you really are?
- 41:33Speaker 3: You are too?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Why try you are? I mean, I feel like I
- 41:37Speaker 1: think you're killing the game. Isn't it weird how you
- 41:40Speaker 1: just kind of fall into it, like no one could
- 41:41Speaker 1: prepare you for this.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no, not at all. And we all do
- 41:44Speaker 4: it a little bit differently. But everybody's doing so good,
- 41:47Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like, there's no right way
- 41:49Speaker 4: to be a mom, and I hate That's one of
- 41:50Speaker 4: the things I hate about like Instagram moms and stuff
- 41:52Speaker 4: who try to like atteck every little thing.
- 41:55Speaker 3: It's like we're our kids aren't the same.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Everybody's going to be different, like, and as long as
- 41:59Speaker 4: you're doing okay and your baby's doing great, that's all
- 42:01Speaker 4: that matters.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Right. When people ask me for mom advice, I say,
- 42:05Speaker 1: my mom advice is to not take anyone's advice.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Exactly, do it your own way, and you're gonna learn
- 42:10Speaker 4: the best that the best life exactly you like once
- 42:14Speaker 4: that baby.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Hi baby oh oh duarh she is is just in time.
- 42:20Speaker 1: When your baby comes out of you, you know exactly
- 42:22Speaker 1: what to do exactly. Well, Brittany, I'm so thankful that
- 42:25Speaker 1: you were on the podcast. It was just like girl time,
- 42:28Speaker 1: I feel like it was. It was amazing. Please come
- 42:31Speaker 1: back anytime. Thank you guys so much for listening to
- 42:33Speaker 1: another episode of the Give Them While Podcast. We will
- 42:37Speaker 1: catch you next week.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Bye.
