- 0:17Leta to Georgia to this. This is the Sports Shot Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23You may began show comes so far, comes it comes along, isn't
- 0:33just I'm a dooer. Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made
- 0:41Bill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shock
- 0:48Show. I am the Sports Shock Wing Gandy. Good morning to you.
- 0:51We are coming to you live. Yes, we're back. I took it
- 0:55a couple of days off these guys, you know what their parole hearings and
- 0:59having to go see the see. Oh, it's a lot dealing with these
- 1:03guys. Y'all. Just don't know what they put me through. You never
- 1:07know when somebody's gonna kick in their door and they gonna have to spend the
- 1:11weekend and into Mondays trying to get themselves out of trouble. They're trying,
- 1:19though, and that's the only reason all you can ever help for and pray
- 1:23for is people giving a try. I just happen to have three of them
- 1:29up here. With me, so you never know when that fall. It's
- 1:33one of those situations, because we all have them. When certain people's number
- 1:40pops up on your phone, your anticipation is negative. You all ready no
- 1:53either somebody need to borrow some money, somebody went to jail, or somebody
- 2:04dead. That's the only reason that person phone number pop up. It's never
- 2:09Hey, did you get that package that I sent you? I sent you
- 2:17a new Yetti cup. You don't be nothing simple like that. But it's
- 2:22always ten minutes of conversation followed by a let me holler at you about something.
- 2:32Heow, that's the word, but that's what I'm saying. They want
- 2:38yeah, yeah, yeah. They start off with how your mama doing,
- 2:43and then they end up let me how you already hollering at me? I
- 2:46thought you're on the phone with me. But that's this crew right here.
- 2:50But Big Kenny, the funny man himself, who had a little delay and
- 2:55his uh, he thought he was gonna get out on Monday morning, but
- 3:01the judge called in he ain't know. The judge called in too y said
- 3:06he wasn't gonna be the court until one pm. And then the bad producer
- 3:08who went looking for ghosts. You know, I don't know if he found
- 3:14any cons You, Greg, I must salute you. You were ready to
- 3:17go, and I appreciate that. Being the younger man that you are,
- 3:23you're still a pliable So you listen and kind of respect the law of these
- 3:27two guys. Total criminal minded. Hey, listen, guys coming back.
- 3:31It's a good sign for me. It's like you show up. You ever
- 3:37seen the movie where the dude shows up after falling out of a plane.
- 3:40They just dust themselves off and walking to the business like everything's normal. That's
- 3:45the kind of weekend I'll be having it. Jeff, Woo, I'm back.
- 3:47And then the call you said, they never called, like did you
- 3:52get the package? Them calls make me nervous, nervous like did you get
- 3:55the package? Uh? Well, I just told you. Y'all guys are
- 4:00criminal because you hear certain words and you see did you get the package or
- 4:04something? Criminal? I see you sent me something, and I see it
- 4:11as you sent me something. You got to get your if you say a
- 4:14gift, you got to get yourself, especially at y'all advanced he you got
- 4:18to get yourself out of trigger words. Right the pack pack always do it
- 4:25for me always. We can't talk on this phone, bro. Just be
- 4:30a package. Yeah, I don't understand you a package. It could just
- 4:32literally be a playing package. But good morning. We have a great night
- 4:38of NBA basketball playing. The Celtics will be hosting the MAVs. Kyrie Irving,
- 4:44Hey, bruh, it's all we've been asking for. We just want
- 4:49to see you play basketball. And maybe you got caught in and and it
- 4:55seems that that is the modern day athlete. They seem to not be able
- 5:00to do whatever their life bears them without infusing it into their work. So
- 5:10if you were going through whatever window you was going through, God bless you
- 5:14if that's what you But we didn't need to take that role. We just
- 5:17want to see you do, Kyrie. Don't make it weak. I actually
- 5:23paid for this ticket to see you play basketball, and you came right out
- 5:29not about your theories of the earth. If I wanted that, I'd went
- 5:32to some lecture down there with a lot of weird people. You made it
- 5:36weird at the basketball game. We could have went to to make it weird
- 5:41conference. I know you were saging places. You know, you finally seem
- 5:46to center yourself and understand that you are as capable and you can lead if
- 5:56you just play basketball. You seem like you would bring everything else. You
- 6:00kind of snapped out of your jealousy fade, and you ain't the only one.
- 6:05A lot of jealous people around here. It's a powerful thing of going
- 6:11around the world. This jealousy thing is on an all time. When I
- 6:15say jealousy, it's jealousy slash envy. I don't know if that's just because
- 6:21what social media has created, it is it is. It is open you
- 6:27into windows and other people's lives and you think, well, your life is
- 6:30not interesting enough based on what I saw on a computer. They don't call
- 6:34it jealous I'm sitting excuse me. I don't call it jealousy and envy anymore?
- 6:40Though? What do they call it now? Sports shot? Oh,
- 6:43I don't know. They got some Ask him. He knows all the new
- 6:46hat And that's what I thought. That like people. But the people who
- 6:56are hating, well, when I'm saying I hate is like criticism of their
- 7:00hate would be me actually saying something to you. Jealousy is envious sitting there
- 7:05watching something thinking my life is less than right because I saw you on a
- 7:14trip or I saw you in a car, or I saw you talking to
- 7:16this person while I saw you at and so now I've decided that what's going
- 7:23on in my life is terrible because only when at one time this week,
- 7:28but I went and saw that you went out five times this week. Now
- 7:30I have decided that let me go interrupt my life to start doing things that
- 7:35are not even who I am. I don't even care about that stuff to
- 7:40try to catch up with you. So when I say with Kyrie, it
- 7:45seemed like it was a lot of jealousy. We see that we got to
- 7:47talk about the day with the WNBA. All that is jealousy. Jealousy,
- 7:57It's pure jealousy. Why not me of I should deserve that. I need
- 8:05to get that. And that's all the stems from bad producer. I know
- 8:09you had about four stories on this. Caitland Clark, Angel Reese Anger,
- 8:16Reae is jealous of caitl Clark. It's easy to be that way. We
- 8:24saw this twenty one years ago with Carmeloe and Lebron. We saw it forty
- 8:33years ago with a guy named Michael Jordan. There was guys that played basketball
- 8:37before Jordan. NBA been around one hundred years. Jordan got in it forty
- 8:43years ago. They hated it, but somebody has to be the person that
- 8:52leads it was people before Abraham, and I'm just trying to we're gonna walk
- 8:58through it because y'all seem not to be hearing what I say. You want
- 9:01to make it color, Please stop doing that. That's just such. Stop
- 9:07giving yourself that easy pass. I've tried to explain to you, Big Kenny
- 9:13commanche somebody and the best way to be it's plain. I asked Big Kenny
- 9:26what his favorite chips were. He said, there was lazed potato chips.
- 9:28Plain. But they're their top seller, number one. They don't have nothing.
- 9:37I ain't got no spice on them. Bacon chea side with Superstar.
- 9:46And that's what I'm talking about it now. We're gonna talk about it later.
- 9:50What superstar in modern history that was beloved. It's the same framework.
- 10:00It's the two parents, and you got to go back to the beginning now,
- 10:05before they became, whether it's Beyonce, whether it's Steph Curry. I'm
- 10:13not talking about year ten when the parents get divorced. I'm not about year
- 10:16one when they taking the photo over there and is Dale and his wife and
- 10:22lit Seth and the sister. It's the same format for advertising. You have
- 10:31to question whether how you look what you're selling can be sold. And Caitlyn
- 10:41Clark, Steph Curry, Michael Jordan matched what it is. He had a
- 10:48mom or dad, his brother. They seemed to all like to have a
- 10:52barbecue together. Sometimes I dream he didn't have a stance on anything. That
- 10:56His biggest controversy was that he was wearing a choker necklace with him. I
- 11:03want to be he left what they tried to pass it to the big aristart
- 11:07or why he was a big, lovable laughable. We'll get down and try
- 11:11to break down. Then they tried to plug Grant Hill. What all these
- 11:15people got in coming the same plane, no controversy to them. The bad
- 11:22producer wants you to be able to go and be a huge star regardless of
- 11:28how you act. That has never worked, and that's all. Angel.
- 11:39Stop trying to call yourself the shy time Barbie after being somebody else. Give
- 11:43you a nickname, Unbarbie, yourself, you nicknaming yourself. We got a
- 11:48lot to talk about on that, but we got a lot. Mike Tyson
- 11:52can't fight, which that's not a surprise when you're fifty eight. Every morning
- 11:56you can wake up without the ability to live full life. That's Big Kenny.
- 12:03Every morning he tests his back to see if he can make it to
- 12:05the show. Here we go. Okay, okay, it might be three
- 12:09minutes late, but Lord High School has instituted in a hell. What else
- 12:16you guys got have here for me? Pat McAfee using white B word,
- 12:22upsetting people when the Lakers look likely about to hire a new coach. We'll
- 12:26be back with more than a sports jock show. In a second, johe
- 12:37bowl Wayne Born of the Sports John Show with Wayne Gamvidios coming up next.

- 15:26time to present the Jock of the Day on the Sports jocksh It's taken it
- 15:31to a completely different level this year, where we highlight an atholete that has
- 15:35taken their game to the next level. Yeah, I'll tight nobly, you
- 16:02ain't got no light. Welcome back to this what shock Shaw, I'm this
- 16:04what shock Wayne again? D some breaking news here. It looks like the
- 16:10Lakers. A lot of rumors over the last couple of weeks have been they
- 16:14might take a chance on Jay Jay Reddick right out of the booth and put
- 16:19him on the sideline. Reddick and Lebron James have a friendship. But early
- 16:26story this morning is that the Lakers look like they may be going in the
- 16:30direction of Danny Hurley, the head coach at Yukon who has won back to
- 16:37buy back national titles for Yukon. So look for that story here today to
- 16:45see if it's true. They're supposed to be working on a big, long
- 16:48term deal to bring him from Yukon too, and it's probably great for both
- 16:55of them, more of a long term higher for the new generation of athlete.
- 17:02You can make a couple of beds for Lebron, but eventually you have
- 17:06to realize that Lebron's gonna check out the hotel in a minute, you know,
- 17:12very easily. In twenty four months, they've been calling up to the
- 17:17room. They keep calling the room. He keeps saying something about late checkout.
- 17:21He thought he had check out, and you know they letting him go
- 17:25with it because he browns Okay, well, you know, no, don't
- 17:27knock on the door anymore. But about every forty five minutes he get that.
- 17:33Yeah, so you gotta start to me. It can't just be a
- 17:36coach you think for just two years. It has to start being someone that
- 17:41you think can can rally people, get some of the young people understand them.
- 17:45Dan Hurley a part of that Hurley dynasty of coaching and playing on the
- 17:51court. But it looks like the Lakers might make a move here on Babaducer.
- 17:56Do you like this hype? No? I think there there's some someone
- 18:03out there that some other guys that have been assisting in the NBA already that's
- 18:07been on a couple of staff that could come in and that young just as
- 18:12the same around the same age as he just tried that though. I just
- 18:17tried that with the coach Davenham he was before, with Luke wal Luke Walton,
- 18:22I tried that, had to retread with Frank Vogel. Didn't know who's
- 18:26that guy? It didn't know what I'm saying you said it like they hadn't
- 18:37tried that, And that's my thing. I'm not opposed to what you said.
- 18:40I'm saying, we done tried that. That didn't work, So now
- 18:45what's your problem with trying something that might work better? Like I said,
- 18:49I don't know. I mean even there's a couple of championship coaches still ot
- 18:53the coach Budenholzer. I mean he's coaching the go for the Sons. He
- 19:00just took the coaches. Yeah, but he hired Darlin. But I'm just
- 19:03saying, if you knew that he was out there, we should have They
- 19:07should have been looking at him. There's a couple of other coaches. I'm
- 19:08just that's just my opinion, and if they wanted to, Yeah, you
- 19:12could have kept Lebron there with the coach like a Botenholzer and still pretended.
- 19:18But let's let's not do that, because see that takes me to the barber
- 19:22shop, and I don't like to go to the barber shop. But real
- 19:26quick, for my little fifteen minute cut that whole what we should have done
- 19:30when we could have done coach, Butenholzer is not on the board, and
- 19:37you've been to the barber shop when they keep going back to eighty seven,
- 19:42if we had drafted Barry Sanders. Remember, we could have got Barry Sanders
- 19:47in eighty seven and we would have known. You don't know what the heck
- 19:51you would have done. I've told y'all this before. At the end of
- 19:56the game, man, if we had made that field goal in the first
- 20:00quarter, how do you think the sequences of things would have continued to be
- 20:06the same way? If you to kick the field goal, that would have
- 20:07been a different game. Right, So it's the same Bootonhos is not there?
- 20:12So, as Greg asked you, who's there? Because Boto is not
- 20:15an option for the Lakers. Yeah, I know that now, But I'm
- 20:21saying on that level not now. It's been two three weeks. I know
- 20:26that now because I'm married. My husband and I have been together for forty
- 20:32five years. I know that now. So who is this hot person that
- 20:37we need to keep our our own? Man? It's just tough. I
- 20:41mean, I just feel like there's somebody else out there that could have We
- 20:47don't know for sure if this is well, it's looked like it's going to
- 20:48be him, But I would have went with JJ Reddick as much as I
- 20:53didn't want that, but I mean I would have accepted Jj Reddick, why
- 20:57off of a two times national title coach. We're still young still, and
- 21:04he did it, did a lot of bike the bike. But I see
- 21:07a lot of college coaches in the past have came in the NBA and they
- 21:11haven't done as well. So that's my from Rick Patino to Larry I mean,
- 21:18Larry Brown did well, but I mean it's just tough. One of
- 21:22our online listeners, Jared Lloyd, has just messaged us warning, warning,
- 21:30he can see it coming. He can see it come. You know,
- 21:33it's people out there that already know what's going on. I don't think as
- 21:36an organization, this is my opinion, as an organization in any sport,
- 21:45you're not wrong for going to hire at that moment who might who's considered to
- 21:53be the best college coach right now. Now, that doesn't mean it will
- 21:59train, it will translate. But if you just won too, If I'm
- 22:04Steve Spurry, I just won two national titles at Florida and a coaching vacancy
- 22:08open up, I might want to try that out right right now. You
- 22:15have a problem with Jim Harbaugh being hired but no, I mean because Harbor
- 22:19has been in the NFL and he's been there and he's but he was in
- 22:22college first, Yeah, as a coach from college what he was doing and
- 22:26then somebody he was never assistant. He came from college coaching and he went
- 22:30to San Francisco to be the head coach. Kirby hasn't left it. Uh,
- 22:34Nick didn't leave after heat. They were the greatest. I'm just saying,
- 22:37we know we bought up these coaches winning winning. I'm just saying,
- 22:41no, no, we didn't. We bought up who you think should be
- 22:45the coach higher the Lakers. We didn't bring up nothing about these coaches winning
- 22:52nothing. What I'm saying We'll be back with more than Sports Shock Show right
- 22:56after this Black Witterbuss. The cat and mouse game always starts the saying first,
- 23:04were both stand a plate and somehow you go astrite, don't go away?

- 26:41Taken on the Mavericks inviting the Mavericks over Kyrie Irving, Luca duncas Jason Kidd
- 26:49as the head coach. Outstanding job of motivating the others. The others is
- 26:59really what has pushed the Mavericks, and they are the others because I can't
- 27:03really tell you their names, you know, no, it's it's it's like
- 27:10when they used to have that Dolphins team. It was the no name defense
- 27:12or something of the Dolphins be the Bees. Yeah, you know, but
- 27:18I think Dallas is like that you got old boy. No, they have
- 27:22like you got all you got your man them in one game and I see
- 27:26them play, I got the ranked name recognition, but as a unit they
- 27:33old boy and your may just bald and they interchangeable, and they're giving you
- 27:38all out effort. They Okay, Kyrie, go get your forty. You
- 27:44could go at your forty. We'll do all the garbage work. And they've
- 27:48done a great job. I think it should be a great series. Uh,
- 27:53both teams have the talent to beat the other team. It's not one
- 27:57of you know. Sometimes it's like you can really see the advantage. If
- 28:02y'all see an advantage, what what would you say it would be? The
- 28:07Celtics are slightly better three point shooting team. They take a lot of them,
- 28:15but if they get hot, then you know, any advantage you see
- 28:18for either team. Now, I think this is neither coach, neither coach
- 28:23is won a title as a coach, No, the first to first finals
- 28:29appearance as a head coach, both of them both. I think in my
- 28:34most recent memory that this is one of the best matchups I've seen in the
- 28:40NBA Finals. Uh, everyone looks to have properly earned their way forward.
- 28:48Everybody looking kind of healthy, and I would like if there were any advantage,
- 28:53it would probably be Kyrie on some guess who's back? You know what?
- 28:59I'm hey, Catchhoo's bag and outne bought some new friends with me.
- 29:04What's up now that kind of thing. Yeah, it's it's even I'm I'm
- 29:08I'm pretty much was asking what do you think six or seven games, I've
- 29:12been asking people you think it's gonna because I would be surprised. Nobody's gonna
- 29:17sweep anyone, so we're gonna have a series. I think that if I
- 29:22gave any advantage, it would be Dallas late in the game with Luca and
- 29:29Kyrie versus Jason Tatum and Brown late in the game. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:37they seem to be in the curve. But I was gonna say Brown kind
- 29:44of has ah. He'll put his hands on his hips and get frustrated,
- 29:48make Brown go left. Yet it dribbles it off. I just don't know
- 29:52if y'all have seen it. They seen this, They're very capable of doing
- 29:56it, yes, but they still crushed. Whether they and Kyrie and Luca
- 30:03are sitting here thinking, Okay, we two points down, it's four minutes
- 30:07to go. Uh, let's run up about fifteen. Get my cap out
- 30:11in the box. A good time. I've been waiting all night for this.
- 30:15For the last three minutes, and we you know, Jason, them
- 30:18seem like they still are kind of figuring out who wants to take the last
- 30:25shot. We still got four. They seem as though they shot that,
- 30:29they still that they made it to the finals. They give you that sense.
- 30:33And you see Luca, He's like he's hungry for it. He wants
- 30:36to come to prove a point. This is what I come to America for,
- 30:38is to win the NBA Championship. If there's any advantagize, it's just
- 30:41in that late game, if it's a close game. Dallas seems to have
- 30:48that mental. Kyrie has a championship, and he's very comfortable of getting his
- 30:56shot off whenever. And however, and that's what I had to start to
- 31:00show kind of with him. I have always felt like Kyrie could be the
- 31:07star. When we go back to talking about Kaitlyn Clark, he could be
- 31:11a star now, Uncle Drew, But you keep trying to bring this other
- 31:15stuff and I was going to the court with you that ain't got nothing to
- 31:18do with your game. We talked about what do you if you saw an
- 31:22advantage, what would it be? If you see an achilles heel? What
- 31:27would that possibly be? Could it be? Kyrie decided about Game four that
- 31:33he just gonna go back to being weird. I'm gonna just be weird and
- 31:37it's gonna become about something other than the finals. Or what would be another
- 31:42factor that could hamper well the disadvantage I think with Dallas, since I gave
- 31:49Boston there, if I said Dallas had one, would be kind of what
- 31:53command you. Greg alluded to the others hitting that three ball to keep the
- 32:00lane clear for Kyrie and Luca. They don't have to necessarily, they don't
- 32:07have to hit it too much more than they've hit it, but they still
- 32:08got to hit it that percentage. It can't go down. They got to
- 32:13keep enough to keep them honest that they can't collapse and try to double team
- 32:16and get the ball out of their hand and feel like, oh, you're
- 32:20gonna miss the shot, right because that other group is more defense, rebound
- 32:24and running the court alley you things like that. But they gotta be able
- 32:29to hit a good percentage. Sometimes the Celtics fall in love with the three
- 32:34you would think they had nine. Steph Curry's out there, I'm saying,
- 32:37but get a driven to the basket when you hitting fourteen fifteen. So I
- 32:44can see the traction out of both teams. Who would you, guys are
- 32:47all of it think would be the dark horse to come out to be that
- 32:52factor for Dallas or Boston. I'm thinking my opinion. I'm thinking Al Horford
- 32:57may he, I mean, may be a different making with the Boston here
- 33:00in this last series. Everybody keep talking about Christophe Posingers, but I'm thinking
- 33:06Al may be the difference in the middle as a veteran and Dallas. You
- 33:12know, like you said, you don't really those guys are just a bunch
- 33:15of guys and no names. Not saying they no names, but it's so
- 33:17many of them. I would say Christoph gives them ability to morph into whatever
- 33:24they choose to and it cuts down a couple of minutes. It gives them
- 33:29a big guy other than Al haffer Right now, Al Hafford is thirty eight
- 33:32years old. It is late in the season. The others that I spoke
- 33:37about with Dallas they like twenty five, They jump real high, they're always
- 33:44active. To me, they will wear him down if he had to use
- 33:47those veterans. But someone like a for Zingist could come in and help him
- 33:52in that role. So I think his biggest is not just how many points
- 33:57he scores. Now, it's another big body protect the rink because even though
- 34:00he's always injury, he's a good rim protective. Yeah, he's always been
- 34:04seven feet. And now we talk about porzingis he's missed as I'm looking at
- 34:08ten games, last ten games, he's missed. He basically missed the last
- 34:12two, last two rounds, two rounds. So is is he gonna have
- 34:19to warm up his game one and two gonna have to be I'm asking that
- 34:22I know, and maybe he's practicing, but we always talk about the real
- 34:27time game situation. Is his effectiveness when he first gets out there going to
- 34:31have to be something that he builds up to. So putting him out there
- 34:36after the first two rounds, his chemistry is off, his timing, his
- 34:40maybe his confidence is because of the and with him being in Dallas the last
- 34:45two seasons and he's knowing some of the guys on the team, you know
- 34:49they pretty much know whereas weaknesses may be to that point. Also, Alonzo
- 34:53Morning, the Hall of Famer, a former Georgetown Hoya warmer Miami me heat
- 35:00over the last couple of days, has had his prostate removed. He was
- 35:06suffering with stage three cancer prostate cancer. They removed an entire prostate. Without
- 35:15your prostate. From what I was reading up on, you can steal reports
- 35:21are live five to twenty years without a prostate. Alonzo Morning would be fifty
- 35:28three, fifty four years old right there with myself. He's already kind of
- 35:37mid career. His brother had to give him kidney. So a guy that
- 35:45just always set the tempo. An ambassador of the league, loved his demeanor
- 35:50for the position he played, just going another step in a tough line of
- 35:57surgeries. Because you're talking about too, I need a kidney, and now
- 36:00you want to take my prostate. I mean, that's too out of the
- 36:06set. You know what I'm saying, In any in any set you missing
- 36:09too. It's it's concerning. Yeah. So Alonso Morning, our prayers go
- 36:14out to him, get better, man, and that's you can find because
- 36:17they said his biggest danger is right now getting some kind of illness or sickness.
- 36:25But he is cancer free, correct, but he is cancer free,
- 36:28so we'll celebrate that win. But I think to do that it lord is
- 36:34immune system. Yeah, that's the most one of the most difficult challenges with
- 36:39people fighting cancer is that now normal viruses and coals and things become deadly.
- 36:46And so now you're fighting this deadly disease and don't get a splinter in your
- 36:52finger because that infection might turn into something that would be life threatening to me.
- 36:57Yeah, And it's one of those ten years from now talking to his
- 37:00grandson or something like that, the grandson sitting there thinking, granddaddy, line,
- 37:06what's wrong? Oh, man, I had to have a kidney.
- 37:08Man, why do you keep saying your granddaddy ain't got no prop state?
- 37:12Why don't keep he keep saying your grandaddy got he be shooting hoop out here.
- 37:17He keep on talking head stuff. You're talking about your need believe granddadd
- 37:22ain't got no pro you know, sell it like it's just having his brother,
- 37:28Joe. I'm gonna need that kidney back. We'll be back more the

- 41:05salute staying in salute my man Larry Allen with the Dallas Cowboys, one of
- 41:12my old line NFL Brotherren, one of those people that you watched play.
- 41:21And this is the thing I like to stop the jealousy, stop the envy,
- 41:25watch the play and be motivated. Watch a guy on Sunday. I'm
- 41:35gonna get me somebody like that next week. That's how it really goes,
- 41:38I'm gonna catch somebody just like Larry caught them, because that was a beautiful
- 41:43block. I gotta get some of that in my life. Man, if
- 41:45I ever get in the league, I'm gonna catch you. That's what it
- 41:49is that you take. Man, it's okay to applaud and appreciate somebody doing
- 41:53something great. It doesn't minimi two different people. Yeah, let it motivate
- 42:02you. I'm gonna catch me somebody slipping just like like that, just like
- 42:08that. It could be anybody you appreciating the running back. Man, did
- 42:13he take that line back? I gotta get any one of them blocks on
- 42:15take And it's really how it needs to be. Instead up, he ain't
- 42:20no good? Oh he is good? Right, you see it? And
- 42:22like, I'm gonna get me somebody like that in three games later, Like,
- 42:24man, I still ain't got me nobody like that. I mean,
- 42:28you you looking for that moment you're looking, Yes, you're looking for your
- 42:32Events Carter moment. I mean, waiting twelve years to jump over somebody then
- 42:40looked like this did in the Olympics. I'm just saying Larry Allen, one
- 42:45of the great dominant offensive guards that ever did it. Uh, strong man.
- 42:52You know most of the things you're reading about Larry uh if you know
- 42:58anything about the Cowboys or football fan, and most things I've known about him.
- 43:05The only thing I've seen that is lying is his weight, because the
- 43:08articles keep talking about three twenty. I don't know what y'all are talking about.
- 43:15Eighth graw in middle school. In middle school, he was three on.
- 43:22But other than that, I wasn't there when he pushed that six ninety
- 43:28off his chest, but we heard about it. It was like folk lore.
- 43:34What do you mean somebody pushed six hundred ninety pounds? Yes, you
- 43:39mean you said six hundred and ninety pounds. I thought you was talking about
- 43:43the number six ninety. I just took off a jersey that was saying,
- 43:45oh my goodness, six hundred ninety actual physical pounds. Yeah, I think
- 43:50you know. That's how I said it was. He almost thought he was
- 43:52a missed. That's a fiat. That's that's fixing. That's a fiat.
- 43:55Anybody lists six, that's compact college. But he was on record to have
- 44:00pushed that off of his chest. But Larry's just sad. At fifty two
- 44:06years old, it's like he maybe had a stroke. And this has been
- 44:10a very common in the time we've been on air. And when I say
- 44:16coming, if you in these eleven twelve years we've been here for something that
- 44:22happened about five or six times, that's common to me, the same thing
- 44:27on vacation out of the country football player dies. That's the short window of
- 44:35time for that to have happened so frequently. And all I can think is,
- 44:39you know, sometimes, especially my position, offensive line, as we've
- 44:45seen this year alone, I think Larry makes the fourth offensive lineman that has
- 44:50passed away this year. I know my great friend Victor Riley passed away about
- 44:55six weeks ago. He was an offensive tackle. It was maybe February.
- 45:01Another lineman from Dallas or played one or two years at Dallas passed away.
- 45:07I would have to look it up for this. I think it's about the
- 45:09fourth old lineman. And all I can say with any of the stories is
- 45:15typically, like any of us, when we go on vacation, all our
- 45:22numbers physically go up, right, are glucose numbers, our blood press.
- 45:29That's vacation. Vacation is a double of something, right, yes it is.
- 45:35Then time is a single scot It's a single Scotch vacation, laying on
- 45:38the beach is what three doubles? Three doubles. I'm saying it's doubles,
- 45:45but I'm having three doubles. And then and then, and then it's the
- 45:50area that people don't understanding. It's cheese and flying. If you fly for
- 45:54extended distances, you're supposed to stretch to make sure that you don't get blocked
- 46:00clots in your legs that may travel later in your body. And that happens
- 46:04to a lot of people and they don't investigate it because they think everything should
- 46:07have been okay. You just came from vacation. But that was where the
- 46:12complication came, was the sitting too long. So I know a lot because
- 46:16as we talk, as I said, we'll talk about the old WNBA thing.
- 46:22In my line of work, it was something that you quickly got comfortable
- 46:28with that if you play O line, it's the most important anonymous position on
- 46:37the field. Yes, the people out there that are trying to create your
- 46:40team, they're spending more hours trying to find and get the O line together
- 46:49than they are doing of anything. They're more concerned of what can their O
- 46:54line produce than they are what a receiver can run or a quarterback and throw
- 47:00down. On the TV and in the media and all that, it seems
- 47:05what is going on. But if nobody's up there the block, it doesn't
- 47:10matter how far you can throw the ball. You'll be on your back.
- 47:15So your team and you can take it. Nowe look next year, college,
- 47:21high school, pro. You got you a top two or three old
- 47:25line. You definitely are in the playoffs. I rarely have seen and you
- 47:30be trying to figure out I don't know who the how o' lionman are.
- 47:34Like songwriter and even it's a Grammy even, but you think that the artist
- 47:39that performed it wrote it. Now this dude has wrote even Atlanta got the
- 47:45center. I forgot his name. He's here forever. He was great at
- 47:47Cleveland and he was with Matt forever. He made such even though he made
- 47:52everybody else from that position better. So you're Mac exact name, Alex Mack.
- 47:58Yeah, Mac, he was take you. You take your defending champion
- 48:00Chiefs. Their whole season is it was all about can they find somebody to
- 48:07block? But they keep trying to get somebody over there brown or they have
- 48:12to find it because it is it is truly that and Larry Allen is one
- 48:15of the best that's ever done it. You can hear it, you can
- 48:22write that down in bold pen undisputable. We'll be back with more of the

- 51:24Candy. Good morning to you out there and listening. Land O man Henry
- 51:30Ruggs who is doing three to ten Remember Henry Ruggs in Las Vegas, out
- 51:37in Nevada, the incident he had with the car and the death that he
- 51:40caused. He was he's eligible for parole in twenty twenty six, but he
- 51:49is. He was sentenced to three to ten years. They say he's working
- 51:53at the Governor's mansion. That's the job he has two fifteen an hour.
- 52:00He's part of the Community Trustee group. And this group is basically people that
- 52:09vary to no risk of trying to escape. Escape. They don't have any
- 52:15kind of nothing on their violent crime on the records. Is anything about them.
- 52:21If I left them here and came back in four hours, still here
- 52:27and trust me and trust me. It surprises the guards every time, like
- 52:31dude, never run. We we transported this dude from the prison to the
- 52:39Governor's mansion and just left him with a golf cart and keys to a lawn
- 52:45truck, no handcuffs, no nothing. And this dude when we got back,
- 52:49he was eating his own sandwich right right right right where he was supposed
- 52:54to be. And it's yeah, and that's what the part. That what
- 52:59they said, they can munity trustees. Yeah, when they do their evaluation
- 53:02of different prisoners. And in the valley, they haven't lost anybody. So
- 53:07red Nevada. So I could ask a question, it'd be me because I
- 53:12ain't got no time to go on the run. I I don't have no
- 53:15due, I don't know nobody get me an extra passport. If I got
- 53:20underneath my mama's house, I will just go to jail. I know somebody
- 53:25get your pass Okay I'm saying I'm not saying that's no reason to go sleep
- 53:29under your mama house for any amount of time. But if you ever need
- 53:31a passport, I know somebody pass Ruggs. He did his crime in Nevada,
- 53:37got three to ten. But O J did the same crime in Nevada.
- 53:43He had to go do hard time. His record was never OJ had
- 53:49a gun. And then remember it was multiple crimes like and remember Ruggs was
- 53:54drinking and driving and he kills so so and he get to go to the
- 54:00goul. He was but drinking and driving your considered quote unquote what under the
- 54:07influence. The influence which is akin to not being in your right mind.
- 54:14So some of your actions may not have been willful and or intentional. OJ
- 54:20had malice a forethought where he planned to take a weapon to a specific location
- 54:27to retrieve specific items. That was both robbery and kidnapping involved in that.
- 54:32And the malice of forethought is what goes into consideration with your sentence. You
- 54:37intended to commit this crime, so that's the difference. Wow, you don't
- 54:43understand the difference between intent and not intending. So he so he drank and
- 54:52just kept drinking and just kept on drinking and decided ended to go home after
- 54:59drinking, not to kids, And I thought they shouldn't have never gotten this
- 55:01car. I thought. I thought two drinks was cool. I was always
- 55:07cool on two drinks. But now my third drink had me in a place
- 55:10where I didn't. And I'm not debating if it's right or wrong. I'm
- 55:14just telling you, Tito, it's the law, That's all I'm saying.
- 55:20It's the law. Don't get mad, Tito. You know what I'm saying.
- 55:23It's the law. That's that's what the laws. I don't even understand
- 55:28how these conversations, these two cases are even considered considered vain because bad Producer

- 55:39and drive off. Now, unless they drove off and you can prove they

- 56:05up, that is full intent song with a deadly weapon. And we've all
- 56:12helped people captive at the Western, help people captive at the hotel. It
- 56:19happens. It happened, so you know, and this the job is like
- 56:23they try to put you of someone like Ruggs. As I said, he
- 56:28qualified because there was no blemish to say he wouldn't be able to. And
- 56:34the governor of the state runs this program to keep these gentlemen and women in
- 56:40some kind of mindset that they're going to leave and go back to society and
- 56:45be productive and be productive because you can't have violent felonies, you can't have
- 56:50unstable behavior where you overreact to excuse me, sir, what does that mean
- 56:54now you're choking somebody in the library. Those people don't get on those kinds
- 56:59of parts. They never his chance that he would play football anywhere. Ever,
- 57:05Again, I think he's that's take being taken into account as well,
- 57:10that he wouldn't that he would be good for this program. Yeah, because
- 57:15based on his age and in the time, it looks like he might be
- 57:17out by twenty eight. Now he might have to move out in Nevada.
- 57:24That group of people might not embrace him to be, you know, not
- 57:29necessarily against him. But you know, we have the media. It's better
- 57:32just to go somewhere with Green Bay. And a woman ain't got no dog
- 57:38was killed now, you know, a woman and a dog were both killed,
- 57:42because at least you get away from the direct protestings. Right. And
- 57:46I know about this because Leonard Little played with me back in ninety seven.
- 57:54I want to say our case was and we were downtown. We have a
- 57:58little celebration on Monday night, and he went a couple of lights down,
- 58:01Leonard Little, and he hit the lady she was headed to pick up her
- 58:05son from band practice and it was an auto accident and he killed the lady.
- 58:12It's something he never got over. His whole speed kept playing ball,
- 58:17but it was like, I need to feed my family. Other than that,
- 58:22I'm not necessarily happy, right, And some of it was that he
- 58:28was still in Saint Louis, so you get to have to go by that
- 58:30street, and when you have a good heart and that's just not what you're
- 58:34trying to do, that ghost probably does follow you, yeah, way more
- 58:38than we think. Yeah. People always think that if you don't have to
- 58:45suffer any type of prison time or something, that it's something you get past.
- 58:50But there often reports on people who caused death through accident and they never
- 58:58recover. They suffer alcohol whom drug abuse and all kinds of depression and things
- 59:02like that. And no matter what he did, the Mother's Against Drunk Driving
- 59:07showed up to the T. Jones Building every Sunday we had a home game
- 59:10and protested them no matter how long how much he said he was sorry,
- 59:15mad had just kind of tucking over, And they showed their power to be
- 59:22able to consistently picket him and question the rams for even having him on the
- 59:27roster. We'll be back or the Sports Jock Show right after this, John

- 1:00:19life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:00:23of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance. When
- 1:00:29I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started with our
- 1:00:30family and thought we lived forever. Life insurance was the last thing on my
- 1:00:35mind. What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When
- 1:00:37I was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up, I
- 1:00:40was worried how my family will survived without me. That's what I'm made an
- 1:00:44appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power and life insurance gives your
- 1:00:47family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older,
- 1:00:52I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills their benefits.
- 1:00:54The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn
- 1:00:58a little or a lot, All you need is the insurance informat to help
- 1:01:01you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family will have

- 1:02:34Candy, good morning to you. As we wind up the first week of
- 1:02:39June, tonight to Game one NBA Finals, I know who it's been a
- 1:02:45week since we've seen some n B A The MAVs are headed to Boston.
- 1:02:52U should be a great series, definitely easily could go six seven games.
- 1:02:58A lot of young stars when you talk about Jason Tatum, Luca Duncas,
- 1:03:02Jaylen Brown, and one old star right there, Kyrie Irving, who's been
- 1:03:08around. He's about thirty two, thirty three now looking to try to get
- 1:03:13his second ring. Kind of you know, wonder twin power again with the
- 1:03:19same kind of player. When you think about Luca and Lebron, the only
- 1:03:24thing Luca Lebron plays defense and Luca doesn't really do a lot of defense.
- 1:03:31I don't know that Luca be in enough shape. I think he could play
- 1:03:35it, but he don't even have to run an extra mile every training session.
- 1:03:38He looks like he just is not in a good enough shape to do
- 1:03:43he need that energy for offense. But Luca Duncas and this means this is
- 1:03:52a possibility for the owner to get his second ring. Mark Cuban, Right,
- 1:03:57Yeah, so Dallas already owner now eight thirty tonight. Uh he is,
- 1:04:05yeah, my minority, but he's still in control basketball operations or something
- 1:04:11like that. He probably some kind of either way he get ring. He
- 1:04:15switched it up for probably some kind of new tax law coming in face twenty
- 1:04:19eight percent to twenty one percent. Hey, I'm telling you, you know,
- 1:04:23yeah, that's seven percent. You know if it's if you're not the
- 1:04:26own owner, right, you pay a liver, you know, save a
- 1:04:30full seven keep it the same, just remove my owner. Yeah, and
- 1:04:33you can say eleven percent and then when you add up with eleven percent is
- 1:04:39from Mark Cuban that three point two billion. Yeah, man, I'm a
- 1:04:45I'm a minority. I'm a minority owner. I would be too. I
- 1:04:48changed my You know what, you don't even have to call me owner at
- 1:04:51all, call me dude, dude, dude down at the spot. That
- 1:04:56you ain't have to let me. You don't even have to associate me,
- 1:04:59but to dude down at the spot, that's my new title. NFL is
- 1:05:03once again thinking of making a change. Eighteen game season is on the boards.
- 1:05:11Those are rumors, really, they're just money hungry. I don't know
- 1:05:16that the body and guys who have shorter careers eighteen games, they basically are
- 1:05:25just going to take another preseason game away at that to you regular season eighteen
- 1:05:30games and only play two preseason games. So they're taking that same twenty games
- 1:05:36that I for preseason sixteen regular season, and it's just morphing preseason games into
- 1:05:43real TV games. And I when I hear stuff like that, it's the
- 1:05:48same as I've always had an issue with commanders in chief of the military that
- 1:05:57never served in the military. You're asking people to do things that you don't
- 1:06:00know what it requires for them to do what they do. If you've had
- 1:06:04a point of reference, I get it, Oh man, dig a little
- 1:06:08deeper. But these people who've never played NFL football, won't you to just
- 1:06:14you know, come on, man, you can let that dude hit you
- 1:06:16a couple more times. That's what it sounds like to me. O,
- 1:06:18man, you could risk that concussion couple you barely making it to the finish
- 1:06:23line. The way it's already scheduled. I'm saying, now everybody on crutches
- 1:06:29and with the brace is on, and these are the dudes that made it
- 1:06:32to the Super Bowl. They are happy that, you know, I can
- 1:06:35still see out of this eye kind of, and you're asking them to do
- 1:06:39another that's just if it isn't greedy, what is it. It's like,
- 1:06:45okay, so it's this twenty games and if they go to eighteen, then
- 1:06:49it's just two preseason games. Can you realistically evaluate your roster or maybe you
- 1:06:57know you some undrafted guy may come in and be able to contribute, But
- 1:07:01are you able to like figure all that out in two games? You got
- 1:07:06the training camp and then the two preseason games. Is that enough time to
- 1:07:11only if you just played them? The problem is, and that's why a
- 1:07:15lot of teams are having to try to go practice against other teams. That's
- 1:07:20become a bit a new trend again something that they had gotten away from.
- 1:07:26But to answer your question, no, it's a great thought, but training
- 1:07:34camp isn't necessary. Evil. I could give you the one game to where
- 1:07:40it was just three preseason games, but to try to do it in two
- 1:07:45and prepare the players, because that's what you're trying to make it seem like
- 1:07:49that the players that are gonna play don't need preseason Yeah, that's because if
- 1:07:56you look at it, because they already wasn't playing. So let's just go
- 1:07:59ah and you evaluate with these your two games. You need to evaluate your
- 1:08:02talent. You already wasn't gonna play at least one game. So if you
- 1:08:05need one preseason game, your starters could play in that one game. If
- 1:08:09I'm bringing back the same group of gods, the same group of guys,
- 1:08:14and the same group of coaches, but if I've done any changing, and
- 1:08:18you know, if I got a new culture, a new system, how
- 1:08:21I'm going to get that implement And to hear you talk that they have cut
- 1:08:25back like the OTA's they cut back a lot of things prior to your days.
- 1:08:30If they would have done do this now, they wouldn't have cut back
- 1:08:32all the OTAs in the mini camps and different things. This may be,
- 1:08:35this might could work for the NFL. Possibly. Do do you ever get
- 1:08:40offended sports shop when you hear these what we call in the industry, we
- 1:08:45call them suits. When you hear the suits talking about how you ain't really
- 1:08:49that stressful, Yeah, come on, man, you be able to work
- 1:08:54that out. You ever go like, man, you guys are your monsters.
- 1:08:59You know what I'm saying. You people are amazing in that all you
- 1:09:02see is your profit margin. All you see is something to manipulate for your
- 1:09:14benefit because none of this has player benefit in mind. Yeah, none of
- 1:09:17the real changes that have happened in all sports is the travel baseball has to
- 1:09:28me not benefited Major League Baseball yet. Maybe one day it will. But
- 1:09:35the names that keep popping up are people from other places. When I watch
- 1:09:42NBA the travel basketball program, what are they producing? We don't even know
- 1:09:48who's getting drafted in three weeks. Name me a player, and don't say
- 1:09:54Zach Edie. Name me somebody that everybody else would know, as there's not
- 1:10:00somebody that everyone else know everyone would know at ZD. And I say that
- 1:10:09based on like all these leagues have become where now we're just gonna play baseball
- 1:10:13nine months, where players are just gonna play one sport. So I never
- 1:10:18got to see whether you could play baseball or basketball. You just played football.
- 1:10:24And then from the football aspect, I didn't get some of the basketball
- 1:10:28things that I would have learned in basketball, which is quick steps, foot
- 1:10:31place sment, hand, the eye placement, which could I could have taken
- 1:10:36to the football field with me like, so as there is no cross training
- 1:10:42of sports now and then adding games, haven't seen better football players because they
- 1:10:46added more college games? Have you no think about it. It's one of
- 1:10:53the worst times for quarterbacks. But they got more games in college, but
- 1:10:59they cut down on practice. You could barely get two hours of practice now,
- 1:11:05and please don't put them in pass you might get arrested. People get
- 1:11:10you out there talking about you've been in the past for twenty minutes. That's
- 1:11:13against the law. So now it's just like the heat you got, the
- 1:11:16heat you got, all those different things. I thought football was perfect at
- 1:11:20sixteen games. I thought it still gave you the fresh and the ability to
- 1:11:29hit the playoffs in Super Bowl with the energy that you need. Now you're
- 1:11:34saying you're going to tax even more of that before the playoffs even started.
- 1:11:41With the only league adding basketball Baseball are trying to cut back football the same.
- 1:11:45Let's get some more of it, right, People want NBA games too,
- 1:11:49Like, how about sixty games just so kinds will play in baseball?
- 1:11:54One hundred games? Doctor? Are you guys, doctor I was reading the
- 1:11:59Doctor Pepper is now the number two really soft drink, are y'all Doctor Pepper
- 1:12:04fans? Yeah, now I'm not. I'm a I had one in eighty
- 1:12:11three, I had one ninety seven. I had one at a barbecue in
- 1:12:16twenty twenty six. But it's like that, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:12:20Like doctor Pepper every eighteen years or something, drink is the only thing left
- 1:12:25now I have if you got to have a taste of some colas well.
- 1:12:29They haven't reached the coke level, but they say they're just as popular as
- 1:12:32pepsi. And see that's surprising to me because whenever doctor brand though, so
- 1:12:39they are a Pepsi brand, but whenever Doctor Pepper's available. You said,
- 1:12:43if it's the only thing that's left, right, most people association with it
- 1:12:48is that, So I feel I feel the cooler, right. It's a
- 1:12:54whole lot of Doctor Pepper's in there, right, left, and so far
- 1:13:00are to be but the number. But I know people who drink the Doctor
- 1:13:03Pepper. You they you'll be surprised it. Maybe you go in the store
- 1:13:09this, you know, bring me a Doctor Pepper and do you be surprised?
- 1:13:12Would it be because they've expanded to doctor pepper, vanilla and cherry and
- 1:13:16different flavors or just rich, just the rich. And I'm like you maybe
- 1:13:23one Doctor Pepper a year. Yeah, yeah, it's it's very just awful
- 1:13:29curiosity and it doesn't even get finished the whole twelve and then can't remembering what

- 1:18:43ain't got no. He has no point of reference from making it weird.
- 1:18:45He just gonna hoop and then after the game he might get weird. What's
- 1:18:49the question. I don't know the question, but I know what the answer.
- 1:18:57No, I would go with the answer because I would go I take
- 1:19:01AI over. Steph Kurry, Oh yeah all day. You know, do
- 1:19:05you think that you see? And I think when we talk about AI or
- 1:19:11anybody else, seems like maybe it was just an era thing, but his
- 1:19:15level. He has all of the athleticism and that kind of thing, but
- 1:19:19the toughness, the mental focus seems to be lacking, if not absent in
- 1:19:28this era of professional athlete. AI was basketball like if I ain't in jail,
- 1:19:36you know what I'm saying. There were some personal things, Well,
- 1:19:40I take AI over. I'm still a two way player, right, So
- 1:19:45you don't have to be a great defensive guy get but you gotta be someone
- 1:19:50that does something that continuing. AI was definitely one of those guys gonna get
- 1:19:57you two three steals a game. And I understand your undersized and all that,
- 1:20:02but can you get your hand on the ball. John Stockton left the
- 1:20:05league and steals the steals leader. Everybody keep acting like John Stockton didn't do
- 1:20:11nothing but pass the ball the car him alone, and he did way more.
- 1:20:15And I'm like, but the man was all time steal. That's all
- 1:20:17I need out of a small point guard. I understand, you got you
- 1:20:21six feet one seventy five. He ain't about to do much. But can
- 1:20:27you get your hands on a couple of balls and make the guy when you
- 1:20:30drop back for that double team uncomfortable because that's what you know, that's what
- 1:20:35you're doing. He can't just he can't just dribble the ball because he knows,
- 1:20:39Hey man, he knock it out of there. So hey, I
- 1:20:42had that ability, and that's all the little edge I would give him stands
- 1:20:45that. As little defense as people might have said he gave, he gives
- 1:20:51more than Steph Curry does, right, you know? And that's why I
- 1:20:56say, even with Luca, Luca to me and Luke Luca's next step to
- 1:21:00really starting to be in the conversation has to be that sometimes they left the
- 1:21:08game talking about how good of a defensive player you were. It wasn't always
- 1:21:15with the Jordans and those guys the Barclays or Alight. Sometimes it was that
- 1:21:19they ain't have but twelve points, but what they were doing defensively that day
- 1:21:25really messed you up. They still got the victory. So but those are
- 1:21:29the birthdays going into the weekend here locally, the Megan thee Stallion concert did

- 1:22:00downtown basically had a water pipe that had everybody in problems. State Farm Arena,
- 1:22:08the Bens Hotels, people had to move out because the breakage didn't allow
- 1:22:13any water into the venue. Georgia Aquarium closed, there was no bathroom,
- 1:22:17there was no cooking, there was no water going in. And then there
- 1:22:20were several I think they're still working on, like one broke and then another
- 1:22:25one broke, and that's that's Atlanta. You know, you see one dugout
- 1:22:30then the block too later they got to dig to fix the next one because
- 1:22:33of the new one that they put in and put too much pressure on the
- 1:22:36own. But this was at the bends right that making the style. She
- 1:22:40was at State Farm, State Farm of renom So is that just luck of
- 1:22:44the draw wool we had that day open and she was able to move it.
- 1:22:47No, they were just lucky that she had the two days she sposed
- 1:22:50to perform Friday and Saturday, and she ended up being able to perform Sunday
- 1:22:56and Monday. Okay. Also interesting story before we go to on stage.
- 1:23:01While opening for a C d C, Taylor Munson was bitten by a bat.
- 1:23:11It's not something you really hear a lot about, right differ he was
- 1:23:16the only other person from from backstage. It flew out and bit her.
- 1:23:23Where was it? Uh, she was opening for a C d C.
- 1:23:26I don't know the city. She was out on the stage. It wasn't
- 1:23:30like she was in the back. She was out performed. She was out
- 1:23:32and just a while back bit her. The devil is busy at a C
- 1:23:39d C concert. When the last time you saw it? That? Yes,
- 1:23:44seen one yesterday. No, it's been a minute for me you ever
- 1:23:47seen a bat up close? Though, like a while back, Like I've
- 1:23:50seen a bat maybe twice in my kind of thing that you often forget.
- 1:23:56It's a creepy Yeah, I'm seeing the picture. She's in the middle of
- 1:24:01a soul. It's got bit on the leg and it's it's creepy because they're
- 1:24:05like their body is like furry mice, but their wings are lycra late dicks,

- 1:27:36Really, I'm just letting the whole world Philly, Philly, and I'm still
- 1:27:42letting the murder beniside to day like I'm giving lessons in physics right brush,
- 1:27:45Welcome back to this one shock shop, this what shock Wayne Candy to w
- 1:27:50n B. A season is going uh hot and heavy. A lot of
- 1:27:56controversy here over the last week, A lot of people. When you start
- 1:28:00talking about Yukon's head coach Gino ari Ema wing In about a foul on Caitland
- 1:28:09Clark, you have different people like Nancy Lieberman, wang In, Bob Costas.
- 1:28:16All of this kind of being stimulated from last week's incident where Chicago Sky's
- 1:28:27guard Kennedy was it Chinnity Kennedy Kennedy Kennedy Carter decided that during a play which
- 1:28:43NBA most likely she would have gotten echecked because it was a dead ball file
- 1:28:51Chicago scored. It was running back down the court, Caitland Clark was standing
- 1:28:57to receive the ball from out of bound and Ms Carter rammed her shoulder into
- 1:29:03her back and knocked her to the court. That is what they call a
- 1:29:09dead ball foul that was not in motion, ball hadn't even been thrown in
- 1:29:13and that's what kind of you know, the commotion. Now, this storyline
- 1:29:20has garnered so much conversation that it's hard to figure out how what part of
- 1:29:32this big Kenny comanchie grad bat producer to even address. A young lady named
- 1:29:39Caitlin Clark played at Iowa. In her time at Iowa, she became an
- 1:29:47all time leading scorer in college basketball history. She didn't get drafted to the
- 1:29:56Indiana Fever. Her celebrity who hood. Basically, the WNBA has decided that
- 1:30:05they are going to try to infuse their league that is fading with this young
- 1:30:14lady and kind of put a face to the league. They think they have
- 1:30:19a crowd. The numbers show that Indiana has sold out each game that Caitlyn's
- 1:30:25been there. Cities like Atlanta have moved venues, so the Atlanta Dream,
- 1:30:33the place that they play in at the Gateway Center, will be moving their
- 1:30:40games against the Indiana Fever to State Farm Arena where they used to play.
- 1:30:46I checked Justice Cson ticket prices floor seat sixteen hundred dollars one seat floor seat
- 1:30:58for Caitlin Clark. Now, all this notoriety is, as I said,
- 1:31:10based on her performance. If you've never seen her play, if you don't
- 1:31:15know much about her and you've had the opportunity to watch Steph Curry, that's
- 1:31:20basically her game. It's the new Steph Curry game. I cross half court.
- 1:31:29I gotta be guarded. As soon as I get cross half court,
- 1:31:31somebody has to pick me up or I might shoot. It's really her game.
- 1:31:38We haven't really seen a woman shoot like this. We have seen women
- 1:31:44who play and just as good as she plays, but it's a different style.
- 1:31:48You can go through history now that WNBA has tried different faces. It's
- 1:31:56been around since ninety seven. It has tried all kinds of faces. Is
- 1:32:00that garnered all kinds of Hall of Fame accolade from Lisa Leslie to shayl Swoops.
- 1:32:08When she came out, they tried to market Rebecca Lobo. It's been
- 1:32:13different times, Candice Parker, Brianna Stewart, Sue Bird. It has been
- 1:32:19many and many and many they have tried, and it never really worked this
- 1:32:26way the way that this one is working. And you say sports shot wives,
- 1:32:31this one working because it's meeting more of the criteria of the masses.
- 1:32:36And when you're in a business meeting you're trying to create something. It is
- 1:32:42better to serve chicken wings than it is to serve duck fritters. More people
- 1:32:55are gonna come in distantly by but some of you want to make it more.
- 1:33:03And when I say that, I'm saying, go down the checklists.
- 1:33:09What's more palatable. Steph Curry wins because, as I said before, he
- 1:33:15looks more normal, something that more people can identify with in size and stature.
- 1:33:21Yes, I can dream more. Yes, to be Steph Curry.
- 1:33:27I might not be to shoot a distance, but he don't have a honking
- 1:33:31muscle that I'll never have. It's the person and that's why I say you
- 1:33:38can go through Tiger Woods was more palable. You can make tiger Woods.
- 1:33:43He was neutral, He didn't have a storyline, he had two parents,
- 1:33:45he was he was a mar he was a prodigy. Everybody doesn't have that,
- 1:33:55no matter how great a player, they're not as markable. And they
- 1:34:02got a blank sheet of paper they're writing in the strip to be able to
- 1:34:08sell this young lady and Big Kenny command you, Greg Babu, sir.
- 1:34:13It seems to be a lot of hate towards someone unless unless you, gentlemen,
- 1:34:20tell me, I never even heard Caitlyn Clark makes statements. Does she
- 1:34:28makes statements other than after the game, other than swish? Other than this?
- 1:34:33Be someone on social media that I'm missing that she's putting some things out
- 1:34:36because I'm not plugged into that stuff. But she is some kind of social
- 1:34:41media TI, No, she is not. In sportshack. We discussed that
- 1:34:45seems to be a difference between jealousy and hate, and by your description hate,
- 1:34:50you will actually say something to the person like if I hate you,
- 1:34:54I made it known to you that I hate you, And jealousy is sort
- 1:34:57of a sitting back and just bemoaning that your life isn't mine. I think
- 1:35:02that what we're seeing now is like a hybrid hate because they make statements about
- 1:35:06Caitlin Clark that I'm sure get back to her, but they never said directly
- 1:35:11when they're playing with her, she is moving the sport forward. So if
- 1:35:15you're mad with anybody, how come you're not saying that about the WNBA.
- 1:35:18Everybody wants to get mad at the amount of coverage she gets, at the
- 1:35:24amount of preferential treatment in their estimation that she gets. And you know,
- 1:35:30we all got the same twenty four hours in a day. The cameras are
- 1:35:34on when you there, and the camera's on when Caitlyn there, and they
- 1:35:38decide to follow Caitlyn. That's real life. That's everything about real life is
- 1:35:44encompassed in that. And you don't get to stand up and go I think
- 1:35:47you ought to pay attention to me more, because what surprises me is how
- 1:35:51many people are willing to champion that oh woe is me attitude instead of shut
- 1:36:00up and play ball and beat her, then be better than her. Do
- 1:36:04you see why there's so much hate? I don't want to see that.
- 1:36:13I see you see it. You see that there's there's Samana MASSI there was.
- 1:36:18I'm still trying to find an article where we read what they're trying to
- 1:36:23base the reason why she's getting some of the hate. There's so many different
- 1:36:26things out here, and and I'm like, what you said, I don't
- 1:36:30see the young lady on social media. I don't see her saying anything about
- 1:36:35posting about anything that's happening to her. So a lot of it is like
- 1:36:41people are trying to create a narrative. It's she's like she's become a proxy
- 1:36:45for basketball. More than just basketball, She's been became a proxy for something
- 1:36:50else. And I'm just trying to put my finger on it. What I
- 1:36:54mean, this is just basketball, people, this is something that we like,
- 1:36:59Like we we get together and go, hey, guys, let's go
- 1:37:00watch the w n B A game. Man. So we've been watching the
- 1:37:04w n b A. We've been watching ladies basketball. No, No,
- 1:37:08I'm talking about myself. For myself, I say myself, I've been watching
- 1:37:12it. I've covered went covered the super Bird, Swim Cash, Lisa Leslie,
- 1:37:18all of them. But my thing of it is it's something that,
- 1:37:23like I said, is some reason this young lady is being made of proxy
- 1:37:26and it's more than basketball. And I can't put my hand on it.
- 1:37:29And I wish they would just let them play basketball. Can I ask you
- 1:37:32something? But you say't nobody saying nothing? Everybody and you're saying a proxy
- 1:37:41things that's just like you got. But I hear a lot of the ones
- 1:37:45that's playing now, they're speaking and saying, we're not mad at her,
- 1:37:48she's just the rookie. And then you see uh other clips where other rookies
- 1:37:53are getting hit, they're getting pushed through the years. You see what Candice
- 1:37:56was hit, you see what everybody's hit. It's just like everybody wants to
- 1:38:00It's like it's like I said, it's like she's being made a proxy for
- 1:38:03more. And I'm saying her you, as a person who made the statement,
- 1:38:09it seems like she's being a proxy for something else. If you had
- 1:38:12to guess what that something else was. What is it racism? And why?
- 1:38:16I don't know? Why has she has? She shouted out, why
- 1:38:21no, But that's what I'm saying. This young lady hasn't. She has
- 1:38:25not. And then you got people saying that what like Na Slieber said,
- 1:38:28should have jumped up and punched in the face. That's same thing I said.
- 1:38:30She should have gotten the girl's face or her teammates should have gotten her
- 1:38:32face. Then somebody say to me, well, the teammates were getting in
- 1:38:35other people's face in the first few games. But you noticed in the last
- 1:38:39few games, uh ready report where somebody said, well she alienated her team
- 1:38:43said, hey, I'm gonna shoot regardless I'm not. I'm not gonna pass
- 1:38:45her. So she was on some Kobe but this is in practice, so
- 1:38:49she was They've said it, I'm gonna shoot, give me the ball.
- 1:38:56I'm fid up here. She has more assistant, not even lead man.
- 1:39:01Yeah, it is about nine as sister game. See, so I'm saying,
- 1:39:06but then you got people age, we'll come back and talk more about

- 1:42:05We left talking about w NBA, and it seems that we reached a
- 1:42:11boiling point already in the league. A lot of cat fighting going on throughout
- 1:42:17the league and through the media surrounding the young superstar in Caitlyn Clark, who
- 1:42:25is averaging sixteen points, six, seven assists and six rebounds right now.
- 1:42:34If you had to vote for a Rookie of the Year, she would probably
- 1:42:38take that home. Her Indiana team it's not doing a lot of winning.
- 1:42:43So when people keep saying her team come to her defense, well, typically
- 1:42:47for that to happen, like Angel mccottrey former Dream Stars saying there's no veterans
- 1:42:54on the team, their top three or four players are in year one,
- 1:42:59two and three. Don't know, that's how you should attack. Run down
- 1:43:02there and get in a fight that ain't even close. And all this started
- 1:43:05with the shoulder that Ms Carter from Trinity Carter from the Chicago Sky who is
- 1:43:13on the team with Angel Reese. Angel Reese, who really displays a lot
- 1:43:19of envy and jealousy based on it seems that over the last couple of years
- 1:43:27her name has faded in comparison to Caitlyn Clark, but two teammates. It
- 1:43:35could have been definitely one of those old New Orleans Saints Bounty type situations.
- 1:43:43Whoever put that tender on a get the bounty today? So I can't say
- 1:43:48that that wasn't going on in the locker room. When they say it's racist,
- 1:43:54well, the WNBA is sixty four six percent black forty white, so
- 1:44:03number is not that far off. Superstars Kelsey Plum, Diana Tera, Si
- 1:44:09Breonna Stewart, Sabrina a nascu Elena donadad that sir, last name del Dela
- 1:44:15Dunne. So the league is full of and has been led by back and
- 1:44:21forth. Right, you will say white black superstar. I don't think that
- 1:44:26was an issue up until now, nobody's been saying w NBA races that has
- 1:44:35not been a theme, hadn't been a thing. Now it's all of a
- 1:44:39sudden it's a theme. I don't know. I mean, I've seen people
- 1:44:45talk about, oh, well, Caitlin Clark and Andrees is like Larry Bird
- 1:44:51and Matt Dunnan and not that's that's not true at all. They don't.
- 1:44:57People don't even see you two as a rivalry, right, I didn't.
- 1:45:01Nobody sees it like that, but COMANCHI Greg, you know, as I
- 1:45:04asked them to what is all this centered around for the w NBA. I
- 1:45:11think it's gonna step beyond like when you talk about, like with Steph Curry,
- 1:45:15the relatability, like oh I can I can shoot from that far?
- 1:45:18Or you know, I don't have to be that that tall to play in
- 1:45:21the NBA. It's gonna step beyond from what I've seen with Caitlyn Clark is
- 1:45:28that yes, she can shoot from that far. And I think race is
- 1:45:35getting maybe too much credit, Like I don't think it's just because she's white.
- 1:45:41That may be like the tenth thing on the list. I think part
- 1:45:46of it, which no one is going to say out loud very much.
- 1:45:53I think I've only heard Jamel Hill say it. I think it has to
- 1:45:55do with that she's a straight white woman. The players that you named,
- 1:46:02they're not, and so that can make people tune out to those players out
- 1:46:12even it no matter how great they actually are. That is a part of
- 1:46:15it. And with her, that's that market ability, I tell you,
- 1:46:19And I was just about to say business, we're talking. I need to
- 1:46:25sell to families, now you and maybe a target demographic. But if y'all
- 1:46:30ain't got no, three, four five other people that are tugging at your
- 1:46:35purse strings that we can influence to make them make you buy them something,
- 1:46:42then well, wet, that's a niche. Let's give you example. Not
- 1:46:45to cut you up grade, but you see, remember Sue Bird had a
- 1:46:47commercial about a year ago. It was like short, she was the gold
- 1:46:50or as a female. Then her wife, Megan Ripento, started acting up.
- 1:46:57Next thing, you know, they pulling Suebird's commercial. You know you're
- 1:47:00wait a minute, hold on, you're not marketable. I mean, we
- 1:47:02can't put you out here if your your other half is acting up. We
- 1:47:05can't. We're trying to do this, but it's hard, that's the way.
- 1:47:11So I'm with Greg on that. I mean, you're looking at a
- 1:47:13situation where I don't think America is ready for it. Well, and I
- 1:47:18don't. I'm not ready. I just I don't think that we openly are
- 1:47:23willing to accept that the majority of America, the part that you don't see
- 1:47:30in the media A lot is still highly conservative and they prefer their content to
- 1:47:39match their lifestyles. Now we have things that have been made popular because of
- 1:47:45demographics that support them. But in elections, who are the people winning the
- 1:47:51elections the more conservative people? In advertising? What is the advertising that is
- 1:47:57generating the most dollars? The conservative advertising? Doctor Pepper's number two. Who
- 1:48:04knew? But look at their advertising. It's everybody, the cop, the
- 1:48:11athlete, the girl, the boyfriend, the dad, the mom. They're
- 1:48:15all at this game supporting football and fans and back in the back to the
- 1:48:20future type, it's it's and that's wholesome. And that's how I started to
- 1:48:25show we sometimes like to throw in different narratives just because we won't be honest
- 1:48:34about what the true nature and the true nature of the Caitlin Clark experience is
- 1:48:42the markability Caitlin Clark. And as I'm all and I'm telling you, go
- 1:48:46through your brain and you will find that the most marketable people see Allen Iverson,
- 1:48:55as we talked about the great Alan Iverson could sell you a sprite and
- 1:49:02sneakers. Steph Kurrk can sell you a subway, sandwich sneakers, Coca Cola
- 1:49:13insurance underwear. Because he doesn't have limitation, limitation to his image, to
- 1:49:21the image Chris Paul sow you State Farm insurance because of his image. It
- 1:49:29was down the middle. Everybody can accept this person. He ain't got to
- 1:49:33tie his braids up in a bun. People he ain't met the rally.
- 1:49:40Everything counts when it goes into marketing. When you send that those meetings.
- 1:49:45We have to find the athlete, a man or woman that can enter more
- 1:49:51households, and the less storyline about them, the easier it is. Period.
- 1:50:00And Caitlyn Clark, whatever she is, she hasn't told us she could
- 1:50:05be a vegan. But she hasn't told us she could be tied. She
- 1:50:10could be down here at the pipeline protest. She ain't told us she's just
- 1:50:17playing basketball. She could be all on some I think it ought to be
- 1:50:20legalized. He told us she wants to do nothing but play basketball. And
- 1:50:26you can sell that to more people than you can when you bring other aspects.
- 1:50:32You take that same person, take Caitlyn and tattoo some red lips on
- 1:50:38the side of her neck. Now, all of a sudden, there's something
- 1:50:41she can't sell. That's really how it works. We try to make it
- 1:50:45complicated. We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right after this. I
- 1:51:00don't go away. More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gams. Videos
- 1:51:02coming up next. And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:51:08Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security,
- 1:51:13yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five,
- 1:51:16me and my wife were just getting started with our family and thought,
- 1:51:18we live forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind? What
- 1:51:21about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty,
- 1:51:26with a kid in college and bills piling up, I was worried how
- 1:51:29my family will survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the
- 1:51:30insurance informant. Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family security
- 1:51:35no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older, I
- 1:51:39don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer
- 1:51:43is easy. Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little
- 1:51:45or a lot, all you need is the insurance informant to help you build
- 1:51:48a foundation of security, because without you, your family will have two options,
- 1:51:54benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today
- 1:51:59Benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits or bills dot com. It's four

- 1:52:34Goo Goo Dolls. We're fortunate that our daughters have what they need to grow
- 1:52:38and learn, but that isn't the case for nearly thirteen million kids in the

- 1:52:45America is working to change. Each year, the Feeding American network of food
- 1:52:49banks rescues billions of pounds of good food that would have gone to waste and

- 1:53:11Now it's time for the school board. When we put a spin on
- 1:53:15life and sports and how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:53:25When the DJ drupped Ingle getting so good, I'm not playing again?
- 1:53:30What in the world was that? Thingsdy do day? No money to be
- 1:53:35made, There is nothing to us flat like bridle Creamsey Welk. Back to
- 1:53:43the swat shock shot the sport Shock, Wayne Gandy. Already over in Paris,
- 1:53:47they have arrested a young man. They have not released his name as
- 1:53:53of yet, which is surprising. I thought we were the only country,
- 1:53:58but maybe they don't want to want to figure out who else is part of
- 1:54:01this clique. But they charged him with planning an attack at the Olympic soccer
- 1:54:13village. Over He's eighteen years old and he's been accused and charged with alleged
- 1:54:18Paris Olympic soccer attack. So somewhere you got some evidence that he was going
- 1:54:24to do something at the soccer. Now, was this a gentleman who blew
- 1:54:28himself up noice, because already this guy is still well. No, this
- 1:54:32gentleman was too. But he was a Russian national. We knew that much
- 1:54:35about him. And he was in a Parisian hotel and they found bomb making
- 1:54:41materials and I guess in the process of making a bomb, one detonated and
- 1:54:46he was injured, and that's how they were alerted to him. So that
- 1:54:49is maybe two people who are in Paris planning something the fair. That's why
- 1:54:56they might have kept the name so that you don't know which which which one
- 1:55:00of them. We got right now over there so we can get the rest
- 1:55:02of the crew, create the rest of the people because you know them bombs
- 1:55:05from when I found out not that you have an ID, because I have
- 1:55:10several friends that's in the military and if a bomb like they're especially with making
- 1:55:15bombs, and they've always told me say that if a bomb go off within
- 1:55:17a sixty mile race, they got to go report in because they have to
- 1:55:21check their ID, make sure everything is not who it is, so they
- 1:55:25can really find out but believe it or not there's certain IDs or something that
- 1:55:29they put in these making these things to be able to track. Katie Little
- 1:55:31Decky, seven times gold medalists in the pool in the Olympics, says that
- 1:55:38she has no faith in the Olympic as far as people doping anti doping rules.
- 1:55:47She feels that some of these countries, She's gonna come compete against Big
- 1:55:53Kenny on the juice now, and if she can't catch you, she can't
- 1:56:00catch a slam the charge for it. I'm with you, Katie, I
- 1:56:02mean now, and not just because I'm on some I bet they will.
- 1:56:06We've seen it. We went to one, we went to one Olympics and
- 1:56:12it was like the next Olympics and people's like, hey, you remember that
- 1:56:15gold minal you won last time. We're gonna need all of that back.
- 1:56:18You know. We've seen whole countries said the Chinese contingency in the pool said
- 1:56:25them that, and one of thos. I don't know, but I'm saying
- 1:56:30now, one of the Chinese swimmers has some fans. I don't I don't
- 1:56:34know if that's supposed to be legal. Yeah, So it'd be very interesting
- 1:56:38to see how that turns out. The Olympics is what six weeks away?
- 1:56:42Seven weeks away, the end of July is the start of the Olympics.
- 1:56:48What else do we have here? Pat McAfee ended up in this whole conversation
- 1:56:55trying to give Caitlyn Clark, and I guess that's why, uh easy just
- 1:56:59to apologize. He did say the B word, but it was more in
- 1:57:05kind of labeling her as the goat. I'm him, Yeah, you know
- 1:57:13that, those little I'm him. So basically he's saying, you know,
- 1:57:16she here, the unicorn is here right right, What y'all gonna do about
- 1:57:23it? I haven't seen that. On the court, I'm she's being taught,
- 1:57:28just like the rest of the rookies. The physical play. Actually,
- 1:57:32the way they're playing Caitlin Clark shows how much respect because they peak pick her
- 1:57:39up full court, right, and whoever's guarding her is a prolific scorer who
- 1:57:45has decided today I'm playing defense. Though I watched I've watched several games and
- 1:57:49they'd be like, well, you know so and so Johnson average twenty two
- 1:57:55points last year, right, and but this night they just trying to shut
- 1:57:59down shorts rolled up, she got the Knemide, arms out, arms out,
- 1:58:05feet side to side. You won't be doing nothing on me tonight.
- 1:58:09There's a clip of a player. She was at the free throw line.
- 1:58:12She shot a free throw, and then she went to go pick up hitting
- 1:58:15cart. She had another free throw, so she had to That's how she
- 1:58:19was and that's how and that's what I'm saying. That's the part I just
- 1:58:25hope this league and this season not now. I don't put it off,
- 1:58:29embrace it and let the competition on the court. The only thing that,
- 1:58:32as I said, was wrong with the young lady from Chicago to Carterly was
- 1:58:36that that was and then that was a Draymond Green. It's a dead ball
- 1:58:42ball and you just ran in the back of somebody where it wasn't even a
- 1:58:46question. You ain't even either Reugh this like you should just wanted them to
- 1:58:50call even your coach, Uh, what was it, Teresa Weatherspoon, She
- 1:58:56couldn't even depend come and I was gonna say it was Wesbom has given this,
- 1:59:00letting the young lady a chance, but she's got She was drafted by
- 1:59:02a Landa, she was kicked off a LAMBA team for fighting up a couple
- 1:59:05of players on the team. She's been troubled already. It's like she's already
- 1:59:10a mental basket. But yeah, she couldn't even defend it. You know
- 1:59:14what it is when your mama can't even Yes, I do. I know
- 1:59:20when your parents be like, hey, whatever it is, y'all got to
- 1:59:24do. I understand. I ain't saying I'm happy about it. I'm just
- 1:59:27saying it makes sense to meet you. So. But as far as playing
- 1:59:31her hard, playing injuries, it's what you would like to see. This
- 1:59:36is how it's supposed to be when and earn your stripes. Uh, and
- 1:59:42and see how it turns out. But that's how it went with Pat McAfee.
- 1:59:45He did apologize for and I know he's a cake because he went to
- 1:59:50a game. It was clapping when she would do something good. Do you
- 1:59:56think that's over correction? So many people are hating on her that now we've
- 1:59:59gotten her sales in trouble, trying to defend her like it might be that
- 2:00:02anything that even remotely sounds like it's a criticism that Okay, I have to
- 2:00:11this is what I actually meant. Like, I think some some people are
- 2:00:15looking to take something out of context, but we need Yeah, but they
- 2:00:17need to stop. I mean, like I said, if you really would
- 2:00:19have listened to what Pat McAfee was saying, you would have heard he was
- 2:00:24just constantly he was just praising her. He was saying in a praise way,
- 2:00:30you know, like Big Kenny snapping his finger. E J. Johnson,
- 2:00:33give you the right, Kitelan did that. Yes, we are ocean.
- 2:00:47The truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to
- 2:00:51wrap things up on the Sports Junk Show with Dayney. When here the sound
- 2:01:17of ocean against this watch out testamented to Vin, We'd like to thank you
- 2:01:20for tuning in to today, any men in any segment a Big Kenny comanche,
- 2:01:25Greg Bad producer, thank you for your contributions on today's show tonight.
- 2:01:30Remember eight thirty the maths of Dallas taking on the Celtics of Boston should be
- 2:01:36a great NBA Finals going in the ocean today. And I really like to
- 2:01:44see this young man survive and bring his act to America. If you really
- 2:01:51really as tough as you say you are, the young gentleman who decided to
- 2:01:58wear the Kobe Brown helicopter crash costume where he dressed up as a basketball player,
- 2:02:08and he takes a crash helicopter on top of him. It wore the
- 2:02:13comic Cohan in China, though, I want to see where this in San
- 2:02:17Diego and see if it goes over there. Now, where are your mind?
- 2:02:25You thought this was a cute costume. I do see that you knew
- 2:02:30enough not to do it in America, But it is a terrible way to
- 2:02:35think that you should display anybody, not just Kobe Bryant, but to dress
- 2:02:42yourself up in a costume as though Kobe was in a crash. I'm talking
- 2:02:48about jersey shorts, even a mask that looked like Kobe. I just hope
- 2:02:56that at some point we were reporting that you wore in America and see how
- 2:03:00they react on that day. I hope y'all let shoe night out. That's
- 2:03:05for the day work released heard. Just let it. But for that fuck
- 2:03:14up plank and and and sir, if you listening, don't listen to Sports
- 2:03:26Shock. Don't come up here with that. Don't do that. I don't
- 2:03:30listen to him and come here with that, sir, Just go to Alan.
- 2:03:33Don't know that's a bad idea for the Sports Shock Show. As we
- 2:03:39always tell you, on Thursday, we'll see you in the future peace,
