- 0:17Speaker 3: Things that are bugging you, dear dear friends of the program, Kerry,
- 0:21Speaker 3: can you turn up my headphones just a slight bit?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Uh?
- 0:25Speaker 3: These are things that you know, you're just you just
- 0:27Speaker 3: can't stand them in your life anymore. You've reached the
- 0:31Speaker 3: you've reached your limit. You've had it up to here
- 0:34Speaker 3: with these things. So you think, I know, I know.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I'll send it to Radio from Hell, Radio from Hell
- 0:38Speaker 3: at X ninety six dot com. But must go on
- 0:40Speaker 3: the subject line. Maybe if they read mine on the
- 0:43Speaker 3: on the air, that these things will disappear from my life.
- 0:45Speaker 3: And sometimes that happens. Let's see. I'll go first today.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I have one of my own using the word dump
- 0:55Speaker 3: in any kind of a recipe, a dump cake.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Oh, who ever thought that's not you?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Don't do not associate the word dump with food, even
- 1:07Speaker 3: in directions you shouldn't do it. Don't say dump a
- 1:10Speaker 3: handful of flour in there, a dump a cup of
- 1:12Speaker 3: flowers stir in.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Okay, but but don't use the word dump.
- 1:16Speaker 1: But what about that delicious pipe place up north that
- 1:19Speaker 1: we went to?
- 1:20Speaker 4: The pie dump?
- 1:22Speaker 3: I I would urge them to change their Okay, all right,
- 1:28Speaker 3: Uh let's see. This one says thanks for letting me listen.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I wrote before about irritating speech when people put a
- 1:36Speaker 3: y in a word where it doesn't belong. Bill mentioned culinary.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I mentioned family.
- 1:44Speaker 4: What do people say that. I've heard people say this
- 1:47Speaker 4: is my family. Wow. I've not heard I have heard
- 1:51Speaker 4: that I'd like you to meet my family. Wow. Also
- 1:55Speaker 4: it hurts. Also, make cupon go away. It's coupon, not coupon.
- 2:03Speaker 1: That one took me a long time to learn. Yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 1: there's a bloody you.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Thanks for letting me listen.
- 2:09Speaker 3: This one says, Hi, here are a couple of things
- 2:12Speaker 3: that need to go first. Sneezing immediately after applying mass scara, Well, yes,
- 2:17Speaker 3: turns me right into twiggy, which is not a good
- 2:20Speaker 3: look for work.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Second speeders.
- 2:22Speaker 3: My morning drive takes me up seventeen South, which has
- 2:26Speaker 3: a twenty five mile per hour speed limit. I set
- 2:29Speaker 3: my cruise control and enjoy the ride with radio from
- 2:32Speaker 3: hell On, of course, which may or may not be
- 2:34Speaker 3: appropriate for my four year old but that's another story.
- 2:37Speaker 3: I have people up my ass the entire way well
- 2:40Speaker 3: speeding tailgating. It's dangerous, obnoxious, and doesn't get you to
- 2:45Speaker 3: your destination any faster. Just go the speed limit, respect
- 2:49Speaker 3: your neighbors and fellow drivers, and just chill.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Thanks for letting me listen, Ellie. All right, Kerrie.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Let's see. We'll begin with the one from Sleepless in Sandy.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Things that must go two parts. First, running out of
- 3:06Speaker 1: steam before all my holiday tasks are completed. I would
- 3:10Speaker 1: work around the clock if I could, but I get
- 3:12Speaker 1: tired sometimes tired. Second, people who have informed me, hey,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know adderall can help you with that. Just ask
- 3:20Speaker 1: your doctor what I've never heard this before. This is
- 3:26Speaker 1: so tempting, but yikes, that's all I need is another
- 3:28Speaker 1: issue in life. Still tempting, though. Let's see this one
- 3:32Speaker 1: from does not say I can use my name, so
- 3:35Speaker 1: I won't. Kind of a small one. But things that
- 3:37Speaker 1: must go the grocery store app not telling me where
- 3:41Speaker 1: to find something in the store.
- 3:43Speaker 4: I e.
- 3:44Speaker 1: What aisles for example, Yeah, cereal would be in. This
- 3:49Speaker 1: is a very big store. I don't always shop there,
- 3:51Speaker 1: so I have to have an exact location on the
- 3:54Speaker 1: app of where things would be. That would be amazing.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I think, let's see if I'm in the store, I'm
- 4:03Speaker 1: finding the I ask someone. Anyway, let's see this one
- 4:07Speaker 1: from uh, thanks for letting me listen, Kelly from Eagle Mountain.
- 4:12Speaker 1: What must go is learning that spiders are jerks and
- 4:19Speaker 1: we'll crawl into my lint trap every time I clean it.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I shudder, Sorry it happened to you, Carrie. I hope
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm able.
- 4:26Speaker 2: To unlocked fear by the way.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Thank you, Kevin. It's Sue. It's it's all Sue. It's
- 4:31Speaker 1: you know, she's she's the one who found it. I
- 4:33Speaker 1: hope I'm able to keep calm while dropping stuff off
- 4:36Speaker 1: for the road home. And let's see, uh this one
- 4:42Speaker 1: from Sue. I do have one Gina making me think
- 4:44Speaker 1: unreasonably about stray cat hairs that can be in the
- 4:47Speaker 1: food that other people brought. You're not unreasonable, You've made
- 4:50Speaker 1: her paranoidasonable, all right.
- 4:53Speaker 2: One of mine first radio stations that play Christmas music
- 4:58Speaker 2: or Spotify playlist or some thing that don't mix it up,
- 5:03Speaker 2: and they will play Frosty the Snowman by Burl Lives
- 5:07Speaker 2: and then Frosty the Snowman by Michael Bluplay and then
- 5:10Speaker 2: Frosty the Snow I get you there only, Gina, there
- 5:13Speaker 2: are only five Christmas songs, but move them around. Just
- 5:16Speaker 2: because it's a different artist doesn't mean don't want to.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Hear the same song set on alphabetical.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Let's see things that must go. Please don't use my name.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Dating in your late thirties at this point it feels
- 5:30Speaker 2: less like romance and more like an unpaid internship. I'm
- 5:33Speaker 2: a nurse with a graduate degree, a homeowner, solid credit.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I take care of myself. I never thought it'd be
- 5:37Speaker 2: a single mom trying to date. Number two age appropriate
- 5:41Speaker 2: men looking for hookups. Gentle reminder. If you're over forty
- 5:45Speaker 2: and your back cracks every time you stand up, maybe
- 5:47Speaker 2: it's time to retire from your casual only era.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Stability is attractive, Emotional availability is attractive. Still, figuring it
- 5:55Speaker 2: out is just stupid. Number three ghosting. If you're not
- 5:59Speaker 2: feeling it, that's perfectly fine, no hard feelings, but vanishing
- 6:02Speaker 2: like you got drafted into the witness protection program, that's
- 6:05Speaker 2: just not nice.
- 6:06Speaker 1: At least have the guts to say this isn't working out.
- 6:09Speaker 1: We'll see you.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Let's see dating apps the digital wild West. When you
- 6:13Speaker 2: swipe through men holding fish, men posing with their cars,
- 6:16Speaker 2: men who aren't looking for anything serious.
- 6:18Speaker 1: How are we supposed to meet people this way?
- 6:21Speaker 4: What do you got against fishermen?
- 6:24Speaker 2: And the idea of being a single mom as a drawback,
- 6:27Speaker 2: I didn't plan on divorced, but here I am successful, grounded,
- 6:30Speaker 2: raising humans while balancing a career in life. But that's
- 6:33Speaker 2: viewed as baggage. If only these dudes knew how great
- 6:36Speaker 2: we all are. I can go on and.
- 6:38Speaker 4: On, I won't. Please make these things go away?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Next, you can use my name. It's Kim. Can you
- 6:43Speaker 2: please make Mariah Carey's annoying Christmas song go away? No?
- 6:47Speaker 2: I mean it's the number one song again it always.
- 6:52Speaker 4: We're Dead?
- 6:54Speaker 2: And finally this, please don't use my name? Live Theater
- 6:56Speaker 2: Christmas Edition Live Theater. Yes, it's it's production of a
- 7:00Speaker 2: nut Cracker. Does it really need to be two and
- 7:02Speaker 2: a half hours long? Can't you do a shorter version?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Oh my hell?
- 7:06Speaker 2: Really not only for the performers, for the Oh my hell,
- 7:11Speaker 2: don't be jerks to the ushers because you didn't plan
- 7:13Speaker 2: enough time to arrive at the theater, find a parking space,
- 7:16Speaker 2: and get to your seat before the start of the show.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Please teach your children etiquette when attending a live performance.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Don't let them run around and jump on the lobby
- 7:23Speaker 2: furniture and scream. Would you allow them to do that
- 7:25Speaker 2: at a fancy location like hal Theater or the Echols?
- 7:28Speaker 2: If not, don't let them do it at the community theater.
- 7:31Speaker 2: If your ticket states no babies, then do not bring
- 7:34Speaker 2: a baby to the performance, and don't act offended when
- 7:37Speaker 2: the ushers, the box office staff, and the people who
- 7:39Speaker 2: are producing the show tell you that babies are not allowed. Also,
- 7:43Speaker 2: if the show says online it is sold out, that
- 7:45Speaker 2: is what it means. It's sold out. Please don't throw
- 7:47Speaker 2: a fit at the box office because you failed to
- 7:49Speaker 2: get your tickets in a timely many.
- 7:52Speaker 4: I have one more thing that must go.
- 7:54Speaker 3: It just popped into my mind while you were talking
- 7:56Speaker 3: about the Christmas music. I was listening to the radio
- 7:59Speaker 3: yesterday and I heard the news guy say this, Well
- 8:02Speaker 3: you've heard about snakes on a plane. Well what about
- 8:06Speaker 3: a a cat on a plane. There was a live
- 8:10Speaker 3: cat on the Delta Air. It doesn't close.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It made Yeah, were hundreds of cats maybe there was
- 8:17Speaker 2: a cat that got out of its carrier and was
- 8:19Speaker 2: wandering around the plane.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That's a tenuous stretch.
- 8:22Speaker 4: You heard about snakes on the plane. How about a cat.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That must go also, I'm sorry the pie dump is closed.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Oh all right, let's get out of here.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Begs that must go on the radio
- 8:41Speaker 3: Show.
