- 5:47[SPEAKER_27]: And basically, it's kind of the fire's push big forts into Adirondack Park, causing increased sightings and reports across the region.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_27]: So again, this is a story you're not likely to hear from your mainstream media in Watertown, but apparently there are more big forts sightings in Adirondacks.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_27]: Perhaps due to the all of the small kind or no.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_27]: Take it for what it's worth to be careful.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_27]: You know, these animals, there was an accident there were a fire drill involving a car and a bear this week.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_27]: And we see all sorts of interactions with animals.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_27]: Of course, obviously there's the bison out in Yellowstone, not that we have bison.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_26]: So I don't know.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_27]: We will have to see.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_27]: I know the mayor of COVID-19 was listening now.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_27]: We'd love to have him on the air.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_27]: He's welcome to call anytime.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_27]: Um, he's a player up there.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_27]: No doubt about it.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_27]: Now, as far as, uh, I've got to tell you to tinnapty or charge a tinnapty up an agent's bird.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_27]: You're going to get domestic film, wow.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_27]: They just got done with their C-way festival parade.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_27]: All right.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_27]: And let's see what's going on down this way.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_27]: Things are important here too, right?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_27]: uh... let's see uh... do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do
- 7:44[SPEAKER_27]: I have the people in the other district want that.
- 7:49[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_27]: So I don't know.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_27]: But the state's given them $260 million as an inducement.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_27]: Wow.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_27]: Maybe we could get some of that money up here.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, no, we can't.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_27]: No consolidation can happen here.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_27]: Let's see.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_27]: you know people like to say that there's poverty in New York two lower Hudson Valley suburbs rank among the most affluent in the country wow westchester you know what's the other probably rockland but uh... scars tale that's a nice little unclear and so on so all those people who say that
- 8:39[SPEAKER_27]: We support the downstate man.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_27]: They get a lot of money down there, a lot of money.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_27]: And Marimum Downley's going to take it away from him, but that's okay.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_27]: That's okay.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_27]: If you can't afford to live in New York, leave, right?
- 8:55[SPEAKER_27]: There's never to say, don't be a winer.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_27]: 755, 1240 is the phone number.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_27]: In fact, tomorrow, some of those storms may be pretty violent, so you'll
- 9:09[SPEAKER_27]: keep an ear to rub your favorite radio stations wherever they may be already seven five five twelve forty the phone number here in water town or same one for octonsburg put a three one five in front of it and you can talk about any issue under the sun i don't know what's going on here in town was right after we were on story broke about the new police chief what do you think of that
- 9:40[SPEAKER_27]: It's a good idea, you tell me, it used to be, that was big news, but it's not really, it doesn't really catch the fancy of people much anymore.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_27]: But I don't know, would you expect you to do anything different, or are you happy with the way things are now?
- 10:05[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, we're not picking on her, we wish her well.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, we wish her well.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_27]: 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, what else have we got happening here?
- 10:29[SPEAKER_27]: Obviously, tragedy over in the Iranian war is pretty possibly for you are service members killed.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_27]: You know, that's a tough thing to report on because on the one hand, if you're going to engage in hostilities, casualties are going to happen, but you don't want to sound, you know, you're not sympathetic.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_27]: Although, no one in this country's sympathetic of a dozen people get killed in Chicago and a weekend, including kids.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_27]: So, I don't know.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know if that means more to people or less to people, I don't know how people feel about it.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_27]: and what are we doing to him as the president said we're a brother eating a meal yeah i'm not sure what we're doing over there but what the heck what the heck seven five five twelve forty four number uh... if there's an angry man in our jinsburg we'd like to hear from them no doubt about it
- 11:38[SPEAKER_27]: But those who don't know or maybe listening for the first time, we have a regular caller here out of our water town market called the Angry Man.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_27]: Another thing that's kind of does for us by getting a, by having a show of Simon Cass on 92.7 and Ogden'sburg, it gets rid of that whole NY21, NY24 congressional thing where you get people to say, why you talking about NY21 and water towns not in a district?
- 12:05[SPEAKER_27]: Now we are reaching that district to a greater degree.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_27]: So that's important.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_27]: So if I talk about it, I'll talk about it anyway, but I haven't heard much more out of Constantine or gender being East-Gonna, radio silence.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_27]: I just never hear anything from him anymore.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_27]: The election's not there for our off.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_27]: We're a good chunk of the way through July and he got August, September and I told her that's about it.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_27]: October, August, they'll go quickly.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_27]: And then we'll be in the vote in time, actually.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_27]: So, there's a matter to you, I don't know if it does.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_27]: It does to some people not to others.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_27]: Alrighty.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_27]: Hmm.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_27]: about it there.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_27]: If they got the thing down with the lightest shit, they were blaming Taco Bell, I don't think entirely fairly.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_27]: And then they were blaming the tailor farms, but then they said it wasn't that.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_27]: So somebody texted it in and wouldn't they text in here?
- 13:20[SPEAKER_27]: You can text in too from up north if you want.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, everybody's got my cell phone number.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_27]: This one is, oh yeah, Iran is really scared now.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_27]: We've got them right where they want them for real, sarcasm obviously, yeah, I don't know.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_27]: Uh, let's see.
- 13:44[UNKNOWN]: What about it?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_27]: Okay, well, we're gonna take a break here.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_27]: And let's hear from our sponsor.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_26]: Oh, wait, there is a call.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_26]: But after duty right in the air,
- 13:58[SPEAKER_27]: Hello, Wayne, are you out there?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_27]: Okay.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_27]: I will remind our listeners up north.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_27]: I have a radio turn down if you try to crawl in.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_27]: Okay?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_27]: Alrighty.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_27]: And we'll be back with more at a moment.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_27]: Right here on the hotline.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_14]: Around the corner.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_14]: Around the continent.

- 22:23[SPEAKER_27]: Am I dating myself?
- 22:25[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_27]: Don't know what there is for a night life up there now,
- 22:35[SPEAKER_27]: maybe not anymore.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_27]: So anyway, 755, 1240 back here in Waterchown, we have, there's too much going on, we got a new police chief, but nobody seems that interested, so I guess we're not either.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_27]: I saw a thing today where they're having an online auction for remaining merchandise from Morrison's furniture, you can get to that from these gentlemen too.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_27]: But man, that's sad.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_25]: said I wonder what's going to happen to that building but after dinner on the air hey good afternoon there will be a great weekend and everything and um that was cool nice fireworks and uh uh the gun fair went down in crazy prices 10 dollars for fried doll i mean they gotta get to wild out but it was the
- 23:31[SPEAKER_25]: be good, I don't know what some of these are in the right, but the thing is I wanted to say about every time changing on the okay if there's a soccer game, you can serve to a 4 on AM and all this stuff and they just changed it for like, we're not like a couple of three, four years ago say, you could have by beer on the Sunday till noon, even at a store.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_25]: and then they changed that to A which is good but what what where is the deal with this rock?
- 24:04[SPEAKER_27]: Well, as far as buying beer on a Sunday, you can use to be new, and then they moved it to eight o'clock as they said the golfers and boulders need to get beer, but later they moved for on-premise bars, in other words, restaurants, 10 a.m. because some church groups downstate objected to going to eight.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_27]: Now, my feeling is, if you're at a fancy pants resort on Long Island, the Hamptons, and you want to have a memosa.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_27]: at eight o'clock or nine o'clock on Sunday morning.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_27]: I say serve the person.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_27]: These are silly rules.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_27]: These are silly rules made up by silly people who are attempting to maintain control over us.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_27]: Now as far as the 4 a.m. deal, the 2 a.m. closing in those counties that insist on it was suspended during the 10 year of the World Cup.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_27]: Although the World Cup games were not played that time at day.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_27]: probably should just change eliminate the two two a.m. thing and make it for a.m. Well, I lost some guys, man.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_25]: They were like going to go fishing right.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_25]: And I went over to get some beer this over the weekend, but like I was there at like 8.30 in the morning and get 30 red.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_25]: And, but see what time is it like, oh, I'm almost at all, you know.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_25]: But she had like a bunch of guys who wanted to go fishing.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_25]: Maybe he didn't have plans,
- 25:32[SPEAKER_25]: But you can see it five in the morning, and then we can't, you know what I mean?
- 25:37[SPEAKER_25]: Like, I'm going to go get a bag of ice, something like that.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_25]: 399 for a bag of ice, just do it in round up.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_25]: Talk about a rip off.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_25]: Well, a bag of ice, man.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_27]: Mm-hmm.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_27]: Well, everything's expensive.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_27]: But here's the deal on, you know, I've had situations like on a sunday, some guys, they're on their way to the golf course.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_27]: You know, there are adults, not kids, adults, stop in at 8.30 or 9, and I have same salary, I can't serve you.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_27]: Well, there are adults, but think that out of the 7-11, by a case of parents sitting in a car and drink, that's okay.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, that's a bunch of Milwaukee.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_25]: I worked there, break, I used to come down there, and we were working night shift, I worked there.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, my God.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_27]: Remember when people were drinking the parking lot up there and everything?
- 26:26[SPEAKER_25]: Oh yeah, we would come down, we'd get done a hit clock and like there'd be like 10 of us we'd come down there in the Northern Credit Union wouldn't be open to like nine of some we'd come down and have a beer in the shop and say like that and then they go down there and cash and check the stuff.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_25]: Oh yeah, there's that a bunch of you.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_27]: Oh I remember cashing checks for people, of course people don't get pay checks anymore, but
- 26:52[SPEAKER_27]: Still.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_27]: It's a different world.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_25]: It's just of the hours or not.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_25]: It's like, why can't you an on-stand?
- 27:00[SPEAKER_25]: And look at this, it's a six-guide fully on the square.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_25]: There's just Saturday.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_25]: And I'm very, like, I guess it was supposed to be in front of A-mon shoes.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_25]: They closed, but they must probably come out of whistlers, or the bad at their whatnot.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_25]: But there was over six people involved, and they were putting the boots in the guide.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_25]: and you put them in the hospital and everything.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, a lot of silly rules out there.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_27]: But, you know, that one on nightclub we hadn't found the after hours nightclub, I guess that's close.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_27]: There's a move point now.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_27]: But then you've got, you know, if you have a license weed story you have to close by like 11, 10 or 11.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_27]: But if you're an unlicensed weed store, you can be open around the clock.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_27]: It's crazy.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, what's the rest of all behind you?
- 27:48[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, the same rules across the board, and I also think that I mean, okay, I can't buy beer till noon at 7am on the Sunday, but three years later, now I can get an A to clock, but I can't go down there and have a bloody merry-a-year place or something like that, ever for lunch.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_25]: You know, I mean, it's just, what if you're in a different car?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_27]: Well, it's like, it's like all of the, uh,
- 28:17[SPEAKER_27]: It's talking to somebody about all this gambling.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_27]: OK, you can have lottery.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_27]: You can't have all tabs for Queen of Hearts things, which are real huge money machine.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_27]: And then there's some places, have slot machines and Jefferson County.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_27]: And that's all they are.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_27]: A lot of that, but if I had one, even in the basement, I might get one.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_27]: I might get a couple of those videos.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_25]: I'm doing everything.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_25]: You see, they want an apple with you.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_25]: Then guys, I'm talking, this is no crap.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_25]: My dad told me, my grandfather built them, some of them pervillings at seeing aunties, my crying stuff.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_25]: He said, the more guys would go downstairs, and they had to rush and move back, or not rush and move back.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_25]: But, you know, the role of that wheel, and they would have gambling, all that stuff, but he goes, no, you see out stairs, something.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_25]: But they went down there with the wide of cash, and then we're all down there gambling.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_25]: That's how national street seemed to be church.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_27]: I know it's funny how we've got this situational ethics where it's okay here but in the next room it's not okay and all of that stuff or at this time of day on this day of the week it's okay but not on this day at this time and anyway it's a whole raster thing from gambling to drugs or something else you can get there at four in the morning but you can't get it before eight o'clock or what you know what i mean what if a guy wasn't up on my reason now
- 29:44[SPEAKER_25]: And he wanted to go fishing and he was up at five and he wanted to go get some beer at six in the morning to go put in his boat.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, you got to wait till eight.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_25]: Well, maybe they already want to be on the lake or sign.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_27]: Well, if you know the guy I'd give it to him, but you have to be careful when you give stuff to real.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_25]: Well, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 30:12[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, yeah, the ones over on Mayan Avenue and then the uh, oh yeah, yeah, it's supposed to be half and half once growing coming Half of it's for almost whatever it is.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, but if I said I was homeless, I didn't fill out new people I'm not almost a course, but they're gonna crash and write out Right, right no doubt about that.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_27]: No, what are you gonna do?
- 30:34[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_27]: I wonder if they have people with shit
- 30:39[SPEAKER_27]: Now that we have all these new listeners up in agents for today, a people with shopping cards up there.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know, but that's a good question.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_25]: And that's cool.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_25]: You're getting calls.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_25]: I like these other ones.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_25]: A prisoner stabbed the outer corner, and that can now he's gotten here.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, he's on.

- 36:14[SPEAKER_27]: Spain, Spain, when they won nothing and extended time over time, or whatever you want to call it.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_27]: I can't, I still can't figure out the clock there because it keeps going up.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_27]: And they had to extend it because it was a tie, scoreless tie, but you didn't know when it was going to end.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_26]: I didn't get that.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_27]: But anyway, I enjoyed the game.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_27]: I'm not a big soccer fan.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_27]: I don't anticipate becoming one, but I did enjoy the game.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_27]: I enjoyed the whole pageantry of the five or six weeks that this thing was going on.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_27]: I think it was great to have all these people visit our country and so many of them say nice things about the US because God knows people don't
- 37:07[SPEAKER_27]: It was the most lap-sided one, one-on-a-goal game you could ever see because Spain was all over them like flies on a rib roast, stink on a scunk for the whole game, but the goalie for Argentina was excellent, had 11 saves, a record for one of these playoff games, and finally,
- 37:35[SPEAKER_27]: So they were woken it up in Barcelona and Madrid last night, not in Madrid.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_27]: Madrid was pretty quiet last night, but Madrid, they were rock and last night after the World Cup victory.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_27]: And you know, it was a big success.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_27]: The people who ran the things thought it was.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_27]: It was a big economic success.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_27]: And to everybody who helped put it on from all of the security and first responder people, the Oregon I used all other stadiums, everything else, nice job.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_27]: I'm not going to, you know, if I praise Trump over it, then you wouldn't like the event.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_27]: So, I don't know.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_27]: One of the groups who are interested rather than listening on W.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_27]: U.T.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_27]: K. 92.7 would be the faculty lounge over in Canton.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_27]: I would think they would be well advised to listen to the hotline and live at five every day.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, I would think so.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_27]: And if they want to call in with their crazy left-wing views they can, right?
- 38:40[SPEAKER_26]: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_27]: All right, 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_27]: Somebody said the Almas audience just tripled out of us, they're not listening, they don't got radios.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_27]: You know that.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_27]: And again we reiterate that thing we got from Adirondag Bigfoot saying that Bigfoot sightings are increasingly common in the Adirondags recently because of the Canadian fires and the smoke and everything.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_26]: Now, but very well, be true.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_27]: Let's see.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_27]: That was this another cartoon done by Cliff Holy?
- 39:41[SPEAKER_27]: Well, he does a lot of those memes.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_27]: It's some form pretty good.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_27]: They got to not like him on the third floor at City All, though.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_27]: He has totally turned.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_27]: Remember like he was just gushing over the manager all the time, every week?
- 39:54[SPEAKER_26]: Oh, you do a great job, but you can live where we want all of that.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_27]: Now all of a sudden, we're all cliffies.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_27]: We've got a whole different view on things.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_27]: Whatever happens, now, let's see what, uh,
- 40:17[SPEAKER_26]: I don't have a lot else to do.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, yeah, one tornado has been spotted in New York somewhere.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_27]: Hmm.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_27]: I put the number of cases that I can't call it, whatever it is, the one you get from eating bad lettuce.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_27]: You know, when they really grocery out, when they talk about it,
- 40:48[SPEAKER_27]: says there's like, you know, poop on your lettuce, and that's how you get a human poop.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_27]: Who the heck's pooping on your lettuce?
- 40:58[SPEAKER_27]: And then you're eating that.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_27]: Hopefully we don't have too much of that stuff going around here.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_27]: Now, who's this guy up north who got charged with a kidnapping?
- 41:12[SPEAKER_27]: It's on Channel 7.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_27]: 49-year-old Ogden's Bergman, kidnapping, burglary, and assault, following a domestic incident in the town of Oswagatchi.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_27]: Wow.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_27]: Gops went to the House on Route 8, 12, for apparently he went in the building without authorization and, forcibly, we moved the victim causing injuries.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_27]: Wow.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_27]: Oggen'sburg police and state police ran on the Pearl, but we'll, you know, just goes to show.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_27]: We, we down here at Watertown, I was seeing these stories out where some, somebody's getting choked.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_27]: That's big down here.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_27]: Choking women.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_27]: And I, we were just caught the North Country boyfriend, I guess, up in Oggen'sburg, this guy is the Oggen'sburg boyfriend.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_27]: Now, as far as somebody else texted about the big-foot stuff, the trial of the century, August 14th, that's right.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_27]: You know, I don't.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_27]: This whole thing with Millie Smith.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_27]: This is the choking incident at Pete's restaurant.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_27]: Apparently, it goes to trial in front of Judge Kim Hunt on the 14th.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_27]: And Team Millie says they've got witnesses and they're going to submit copies of the security video from the restaurant to try to prove their case that she didn't do anything wrong.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_27]: And when I read all the comments from into my blog from all the people who don't like Millie, they always say, what's wrong with you?
- 43:05[SPEAKER_27]: You don't back to blue.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_27]: The blue should be wanting this trial to vindicate their position.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_27]: You know, this violation ticket went for shoving an officer that was given to Millie.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know, I would think those who don't like Millie would want the trial so that they can say, see a soldier guilty as they come, but I just don't, everybody I've talked to it, just doesn't think there's enough there there.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_27]: Apparently it was the current chief, not the new chief, who approved the arrest, reviewed it.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah, so that's according to Millie.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_27]: I talked to her over the weekend.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_27]: She takes my calls, yeah.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_27]: So I don't know, but the 14th is the trial.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_27]: I wonder if our mainstream media is going to cover it.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_27]: I hope cameras are allowed in the courtroom.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_27]: I would think you'd have to call the officers involved, wouldn't you?
- 44:20[SPEAKER_27]: If you're the DA, I don't know why.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_27]: Unless it's just outright pride, NATO water, or net fallibility, but the way that came down is I understand it.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_27]: Really, obviously, you didn't want to obviously know where he's going to jail or getting fined over it, but, you know, it was one of those things where somebody said
- 44:45[SPEAKER_27]: Okay, so she didn't want to take an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, you know, when you look, when you're 60 year old gets caught taking that Snickers bar from the general stores, I'm like that, they'll probably ACDM, that way there's no penalty, there's no record, he's just got to not do anything for a certain period of time.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_27]: on the Zoko.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_27]: And that's a way of resolving people who are in the public eye, but when you're in the public eye, I like Ms. Smith or your prominent citizen, former first lady of water channel.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_27]: You don't necessarily want to stipulate to anything because it's an admission of guilt.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_27]: So she didn't want her.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_26]: So.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_27]: And so then the I guess the DA offered it this is what I'm told.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know if some people say I'm illent for him to find him.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_27]: So what?
- 45:40[SPEAKER_27]: But when I was told that the DA I guess mills is his name offered to ACD at the one day a adjournment till tomorrow and then it's all gone.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_27]: And you say well what's the you know that won't cross anything and you know she doesn't water
- 46:00[SPEAKER_27]: right.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_27]: She thinks it's a matter of principle.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_27]: So we're going to have a trial.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_27]: Now, I don't know who'll defend the city, but probably these people from Rochester who they're paying to for legal stuff.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_27]: So we'll spend, I don't know, 400 bucks an hour to have them come up.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_27]: It's something else, but I'm looking forward to the trial.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_27]: I hope it's, I hope they
- 46:33[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_27]: And I think we should see, you know, there's the, the video from the restaurant and there's also, I think the police officer had a body camera.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_27]: So, with all of that, plus a room full of witnesses, plus the victim of the choking in his wife, with all of that input to a trial, I would say George Ward should be able to very quickly come up with a verdict.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_27]: It's not going to be for lack of evidence from what I hear.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_27]: So, that's that.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_27]: Hey, why don't we take another break and then we'll come back with more right here in the hotline on AM-1240 and on WQT-PK-92.7.

- 50:43[SPEAKER_27]: They're penned out of it, indeed.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_27]: You know I was reading, I saw something on Facebook.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_27]: There was a post from a local restaurant bar, waterfront place.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_27]: I'm not going to say what it is, because I don't want to embarrass the people involved.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_27]: They run a nice establishment, but it basically said, we're going to be closed this weekend.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_27]: Because although we have enough people working here, they don't want it that we can't offer.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_27]: And it was a lot of activities in Clayton, there's no.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_27]: And we didn't feel we could staff it.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_27]: Well, I have a couple things to say to that.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_27]: First of all, the people who stiffed you, I mean, unless there's a real scheduling problem with management, is we're supposed to schedule people
- 51:23[SPEAKER_27]: So that you can accommodate, you know, somebody wants to go to this.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_27]: Somebody needs to do this.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, my sister's getting married that weekend.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_27]: All of those things, you've got to factor in.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_27]: But where is it a good idea to close a resort place down in the middle of resort season?
- 51:39[SPEAKER_27]: July, I don't get it.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_27]: I don't get it.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_27]: Now,
- 51:48[SPEAKER_27]: But there's a lot of that up here, you know, let's close for this, close for that, it's interesting.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_27]: But I'm not sure I didn't want those people back next weekend.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, I want to make some muck, well, you know, you're stiffening.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_27]: And again, and I'm porous job as a schedule fairly, and equitably, and to make sure that people's lives are accommodated to the extent possible.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_27]: What people don't often realize is, if that place is closed, that lessens the viability, it lessens the ability to pay people, right?
- 52:27[SPEAKER_27]: Because you've got to make your make-a in the sunshine in the summertime and the resort business.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_27]: So, yeah, well, you know, doesn't matter, no matter, I want to do something else.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_27]: You can have the whole summer off, and it's what I'd say.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_27]: All right.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, here's the idiot, text it, and you should be closed on all holidays.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_27]: And you should stay in your house and all all the other things.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_27]: Don't go anywhere, right?
- 52:59[SPEAKER_27]: Um, another text message, and it was a good comment.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_27]: It was a great idea to close all the damn roads going to these seasonal towns as well, right?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_26]: And there was a lot of that.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_27]: Um, but you know, you've got the, uh, and it's also not fair to your customers.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_27]: You know, those customers are on vacation, or at their camps or cottages for the summer.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_27]: Um, in the hierarchy of seasonal properties, camp, speaking, a lowest, then cottages, and then summer home, or in the winter, a lot, I would prefer to live in a summer home and not a camp.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_27]: But some people like this are going to campus weekend.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_27]: Anyway, no, I'd stuff when you're a little spot down here where you're always going, all of a sudden, it's closed.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_27]: And then I was a catastrophe, I guess I understand it.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_27]: But this kind of a weird affectation of growth country life.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_27]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if I'd like to be on the show of shows today.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_27]: Like somebody was saying to me this morning, what's this thing about Mondays in this area?
- 54:32[SPEAKER_27]: Everybody's closest on Mondays.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_27]: I don't have lunch of dinners, I don't, man.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_27]: Monday.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_27]: I don't get it.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_27]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows,
- 54:47[SPEAKER_27]: and that's what we call it down here in water town for you uh... newbies we have to call you from up in Saint Lawrence County who are listening i don't i don't know all of you uh... and why twenty one voters now maybe you people have more of an opinion on this whole uh... constant you know gender being thing it's gender being probably we see he's a lisman right he probably can listen to the show off air
- 55:18[SPEAKER_27]: But we'd be interested in hearing what your views are in these candidates.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_27]: I think I still think that'll be a competitive race.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_27]: I would say Constantino as the edge due to the nature of the district and is resources and all of that.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_27]: But you never know.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_27]: Stranger Things have happened Bill Owens.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_27]: 755-1240 are thrown on ver if you'd like to be on here with a 315 in front of it if you please.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_27]: And I think we'd like to see what there was some bad weather coming tomorrow, right?
- 56:00[SPEAKER_26]: Get some bad.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_27]: What was it like a micro burst up there Lisbon or Ogden's burger somewhere up there
- 56:16[SPEAKER_27]: forecast.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_04]: There we go.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_27]: Come on forecast, get up there.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_27]: There is 74 degrees right now in water town.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_27]: Mostly sunny today, I 78, poverty tonight, low 65 and 79 with a chance of showers tomorrow.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_27]: And they were talking about maybe a thunderstorm.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_27]: And so, it's similar, similar conditions up north.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_27]: For instance, up north.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_27]: Messina, that's the closest place where they have a thermometer.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_27]: It's 76 degrees.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_27]: And they're expecting the same thing for tomorrow, a chance of thunderstorms.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_27]: The rest of the day should be just plain gorgeous.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_02]: Good afternoon, you're on the air, and good afternoon as the greetings from the high country up here, you sound in really good on the FM side.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_27]: Oh, thank you, where are you from?
- 57:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, right on the county line between Northern Lewis and southeast southwestern of St. Lawrence, Arizona.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_27]: And just, wow, we can be heard in Harrisville.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the head, I call all the North country home, North would glad to be here.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, he asked,
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: that you know there's there's even a few small one signs still stick it up that's what's this neck of the woods but and that's uh... i just uh... go to enjoy watching the uh... the election i'm always interested in that and uh... so are you a constant you know supporter uh... well that's a kind of going to go with out well i'm the guy who's still who is putting very gold water signs up back in sixty four so yeah i'm i'm a constant you know
- 58:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's not going to break my heart either which way Lisbon Derry Farmer would really shake him up in Washington far as I'm concerned.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_27]: Hey, what's going on in Harris room is that lady still living there who was the sister of a guy that the state police shot?
- 58:31[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, don't know where the family has what has happened to the family or where they're living.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't, I really don't.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of many stories going back over the years that sort of hot and heavy for a couple of days and then it disappeared.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_27]: And I thought that was fascinating to the interview on Channel 7.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_27]: I don't know.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I didn't know.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_27]: You just checked, yeah.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_02]: To coverage of that, but to add video with it, even if it was helicopter video.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: And very sparse.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: But think of how many unsolved murders have been up and down rule three from camper and chloro a couple years ago, that hitchhiker from up-to-per-lake way, and no coverage.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_27]: I don't.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I've commented too on the news media, but SunFair, I know you had a big job, but I just wanted to say how good you sound.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_27]: Okay, well thank you so much for appreciate it.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_27]: keep up the great work, you have to drive 40 miles your direction, even pick you up on 20 or 40.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_27]: All right, well, thank you.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever you can come on the air, sounds great.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, I could get up.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_27]: I've got to run those, sir, right now.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_27]: But thank you.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_27]: Thank you for calling.
