- 0:00Speaker 1: With Stu Gotts and Hawkman.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I mean.
- 0:08Speaker 3: You mean what I mean, what's better than with Stu
- 0:13Speaker 3: Gotts and Hawkman just a couple days after you had
- 0:17Speaker 3: another episode.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I mean we're working our asses off here.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Yeah, we really, I'm making you work. I need to
- 0:22Speaker 4: start paying you. I mean, I feel like.
- 0:24Speaker 2: We're having the time of our life.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I will tell you there are a bunch of people
- 0:27Speaker 3: that are ordering shirts from my son's shop, which is
- 0:30Speaker 3: damn cool.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Okay, so they'll pay you a couple notes.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Before we get into some stuff I wanted to talk
- 0:38Speaker 3: about on the podcast, our friend Frank Caliendo.
- 0:41Speaker 2: He's coming to West Palm Beach.
- 0:43Speaker 3: I know, yes, I'm well, there's a new Palm Beach
- 0:47Speaker 3: improv which is actually in Wellington. But he's coming in
- 0:50Speaker 3: October and we'll have him on the podcast.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I'll have him on my radio show. I'm sure you'll
- 0:55Speaker 2: have him on yours.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Calli Endo's coming in October to the Palm Beach and
- 1:01Speaker 3: I have always maintained if you've never seen him live,
- 1:06Speaker 3: it is unlike anything you've ever seen, because you hear
- 1:10Speaker 3: him on the radio a lot.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And obviously we have video components now. But when you.
- 1:13Speaker 3: See him on stage and his facial contortions match bows
- 1:18Speaker 3: of the person he's impersonating. It really like he commands
- 1:22Speaker 3: a room. And I think he's doing three shows in
- 1:26Speaker 3: West Palm. The reason I bring it up because he'll
- 1:28Speaker 3: come on to promote it. I know we're in July
- 1:30Speaker 3: and he's not coming till October. Those shows are going
- 1:33Speaker 3: to sell out. And I think he had texted me
- 1:35Speaker 3: a few weeks ago saying, hey, what do you think
- 1:37Speaker 3: about these dates for October? And I think I cross
- 1:40Speaker 3: checked it with like Dolphins and Canes games.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I think the Canes are on a bye that week
- 1:46Speaker 2: and the.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Dolphins aren't home, like it's like a perfect weekend, perfect week.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah, he was asking me as well, and I said,
- 1:51Speaker 4: I said, listen, it's a great week. There's not a
- 1:53Speaker 4: lot of sports going on. I'll be in town. I'm
- 1:56Speaker 4: not saying I'm going, but I'll be in town. And
- 1:59Speaker 4: he was delighted by that, and yes, I'll be stopping
- 2:01Speaker 4: by our studios as well.
- 2:02Speaker 3: I think Frank on Stage dot Com.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Is where he sells tickets.
- 2:08Speaker 3: You can go to Palm Beach improv as well, but
- 2:10Speaker 3: I think it's Frank on Stage Ed is Frank on stage.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Dot com is where you can get the tickets, and
- 2:16Speaker 3: it's just like a friendly reminder. I would get them
- 2:19Speaker 3: sooner rather than later because they will sell out. And
- 2:22Speaker 3: he's worth seeing. It's October ninth and tenth at the
- 2:25Speaker 3: Palm Beach improv but he is No.
- 2:26Speaker 4: You're right, Hockey, this market, you know, based on Frank
- 2:29Speaker 4: being on with me, being on with you and being
- 2:31Speaker 4: on with us, Me, you and Dan for so many
- 2:33Speaker 4: years and having such a big presence in this market,
- 2:36Speaker 4: he is very popular here and you're right, those tickets.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Will go very very quickly. Yeah, they're going to sell out.
- 2:41Speaker 3: They're going to sell out, and so if you're interested,
- 2:44Speaker 3: I'm giving like I don't even know if it's been
- 2:45Speaker 3: like announced officially, but I'm giving you a little heads
- 2:48Speaker 3: up here on the pod, so get those. There's one
- 2:50Speaker 3: other thing I want to get to, a Suie Award
- 2:52Speaker 3: today speaking of Caliendo, because he actually.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Introduces the Suey Award that we're.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Going to listen to, and it's based off the episode
- 2:59Speaker 3: that we did on Monday, which was a lot of
- 3:01Speaker 3: my parody songs. I had one other question for you.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Do you enter the Master's tickets lottery every year.
- 3:09Speaker 2: No, no, no, So I've been.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Doing it the last few years, and I see a
- 3:13Speaker 3: lot of people tweeting out like, oh, just got my notice,
- 3:16Speaker 3: didn't get my Master's tickets. Again, I haven't gotten any notice.
- 3:21Speaker 2: There's a lottery.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I don't know how many tickets they give out, But
- 3:24Speaker 3: I have not been told that my Masters tickets request
- 3:28Speaker 3: has been denied.
- 3:29Speaker 4: So in years past, have you gotten a notification saying
- 3:32Speaker 4: you didn't get your tickets?
- 3:33Speaker 3: I don't recall I must have, because I certainly didn't
- 3:36Speaker 3: getting alert asking me to buy the tickets.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Well, how many years have you been trying to get them?
- 3:41Speaker 5: You know?
- 3:41Speaker 6: Not a time?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I only I told you I think I want of
- 3:44Speaker 2: these pods.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I really only gained interest in the Masters, kind of
- 3:48Speaker 3: like when I turned fifty around fifty six now, so
- 3:51Speaker 3: it's really been like, you know, I always watched the Masters,
- 3:54Speaker 3: but like I became like just enamored with it. As
- 3:59Speaker 3: my body breaks down, it's a bunch easier to enjoy
- 4:06Speaker 3: the sport of watching golf body's breaking down.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Yes, it's also much easier to get Masters tickets by
- 4:12Speaker 4: going through me. So if you want to go to
- 4:16Speaker 4: I went there for the first time a few years ago,
- 4:18Speaker 4: right after my mom passed away, Me, my dad, and
- 4:21Speaker 4: my brother went to Rounds one and two at Augusta.
- 4:25Speaker 4: It was fantastic. I want to go again. I don't
- 4:28Speaker 4: know how we do this because we're on different stations.
- 4:30Speaker 4: You're doing a local show, I'm doing a national show.
- 4:33Speaker 4: But I would like to go to Augusta next year
- 4:35Speaker 4: with Hawk and do a show.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Let's make that.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I've been leaning on Gino Toretta because he's got connections there,
- 4:42Speaker 3: but yeah, I just want to experience.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I gotcha Hawky day at the Mask. Yes, yes, I
- 4:47Speaker 2: got you.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I have your badges, I got hospitality tents, I've got
- 4:50Speaker 4: everything for you. The Great Charlie Severing will take care
- 4:52Speaker 4: of us.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Okay, well, you've owed me a dinner at Cafe Mondorano
- 4:56Speaker 3: since twenty twelve, so I'm not really I'm not going
- 4:59Speaker 3: to to book the flights, That's all I'm going to say.
- 5:02Speaker 2: There's a direct to Augusta from here. Did you know that?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Is there? Yeah, a direct light to Augusta.
- 5:09Speaker 4: There is a direct flight from either West Palm or
- 5:14Speaker 4: Rderdale to Augusta.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yes and back.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Yeah, fantastic otherwise you have to fly into Atlanta and
- 5:20Speaker 4: drive three and a half hours across the state.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Is that how far it is from Atlanta? Yeah, my brother.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Flew in from New York to Atlanta, had a three
- 5:27Speaker 4: and a half hour drive to get to Augusta.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I flew right now.
- 5:29Speaker 3: So on the last with Stugatts and Hawkman podcast, we
- 5:34Speaker 3: played a lot of my parody songs and people got
- 5:38Speaker 3: a kick out of here and some of this suff
- 5:40Speaker 3: I got a kick out of here in some of
- 5:41Speaker 3: the stuff that I hadn't heard in a while, like
- 5:42Speaker 3: the Shealela song, I don't think i'd heard since we
- 5:45Speaker 3: had done it on the air. So I got to
- 5:48Speaker 3: think it, where could we listen to some of the songs.
- 5:52Speaker 3: It wasn't just me doing songs. There was a spate
- 5:55Speaker 3: where because if I look in my archives, there are
- 5:58Speaker 3: literally thousands of songs, not just like produced parody songs
- 6:04Speaker 3: that I've done and Mike Ryan has done, but thousands
- 6:08Speaker 3: of songs from listeners and Greg Cody. Greg Cody used
- 6:12Speaker 3: to come on every week as the singing sportswriter, Yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 3: and he would perform a song and then we had
- 6:17Speaker 3: fake Cody would call in with very well done songs
- 6:21Speaker 3: over the phone.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Do you remember who fake Cody was? I know, Mike Marshant.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Oh that's right, geez. How could I forget that?
- 6:32Speaker 6: We had.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Regulars obviously, fake Pavaratti, fake Placido Domingo. But one of
- 6:40Speaker 3: the ways that we can just get a little snippet
- 6:43Speaker 3: in time for parody songs is listening to a Suie Award.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Every year, I would do a category called best Song,
- 6:51Speaker 3: and this is the category from two thousand and seven.
- 6:55Speaker 3: And I remember we had played a Sue Awards nominee
- 6:59Speaker 3: list a few episodes ago, probably more than a few,
- 7:02Speaker 3: probably over a dozen episodes ago. And I got a
- 7:04Speaker 3: bunch of dms from people saying, hey, do the Suez like?
- 7:07Speaker 2: We can't find the.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Old ones online. A lot of the older stuff is online,
- 7:12Speaker 3: but the early Suies, the two thousand and six, the
- 7:14Speaker 3: two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight Suiz I
- 7:17Speaker 3: don't think exist anywhere other than on my hard drive.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and the Suez, as it turns out, hok. We
- 7:23Speaker 4: talked about this on Stuyatsen Company the other day about
- 7:26Speaker 4: summer programming. Uh, they turned out for us. You know,
- 7:30Speaker 4: Dan would say, hey, there are oscars Uh, it.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Was a year in review.
- 7:35Speaker 4: They turned out the Suez and I assume they're still
- 7:39Speaker 4: doing them. But the Sweze turned out to be amazing
- 7:42Speaker 4: summer programming for us. That killed a lot of time
- 7:45Speaker 4: with very entertaining stuff.
- 7:47Speaker 2: That's the thing. It not only killed a lot of time,
- 7:49Speaker 2: but it was entertaining.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yes, Yeah, because I'm gonna I'll submit to you that
- 7:53Speaker 3: here in twenty twenty six, These two thousand and seven
- 7:56Speaker 3: Suey Awards are going to bring you back to a
- 7:58Speaker 3: place where, like, some of the stuff haven't heard and
- 8:00Speaker 3: then you're gonna hear it. I mean, one of the
- 8:02Speaker 3: nominees is what we played last episode, the Antoine Walker song.
- 8:07Speaker 2: And twan don't shoot the Ball.
- 8:12Speaker 3: One of my pokes is in here that we had
- 8:14Speaker 3: played on a previous episode. But there's stuff on this
- 8:18Speaker 3: particular Suey Award. Do you remember we had Jimmy Snooker,
- 8:21Speaker 3: Jimmy Superfly Snooker.
- 8:23Speaker 2: As a guest of course. Yeah, so he was a wrestler.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I don't know if you've ever heard of him, Taylor,
- 8:28Speaker 3: Jimmy Superfly Snooka, but he was a wrestler and Dan
- 8:31Speaker 3: and I loved him, like we loved Jimmy Snooker and
- 8:35Speaker 3: he came on the first time, and do you remember
- 8:37Speaker 3: he couch I should say couched, but he punctuated every
- 8:41Speaker 3: answer that he gave with brother.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Brother.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Everything was brother. Yeah, And I did a whole song
- 8:48Speaker 2: about that. So here it is.
- 8:51Speaker 3: This is from two thousand and seven, and it's just
- 8:54Speaker 3: a snippet in time. Yes, this is from two thousand
- 8:58Speaker 3: and seven, Suie for Best Song.
- 9:09Speaker 1: To introduce the nominees for Best Musical Performance, please welcome
- 9:14Speaker 1: fake John Madden. Yeah, you probably know that I like
- 9:25Speaker 1: turkey and Brett farre and Snickers bars and free Musketeers
- 9:29Speaker 1: good and Plenty's pretty good. I enjoy it.
- 9:31Speaker 7: You know, I'll enjoy a chicken every once in a while,
- 9:34Speaker 7: you know, some kind of anything.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I had a salad once. But you know that John
- 9:39Speaker 1: Mann likes to sing Di Brand strokes. It takes different strokes.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It takes strokes.
- 9:45Speaker 6: To rule the world.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Hey, I get the whole thing boom, but I'm not
- 9:48Speaker 7: good right now because I'm presenting award. You know, I'm
- 9:51Speaker 7: not the only one that likes to sing. Everyone associated
- 9:54Speaker 7: with the Dan Levatard Show likes to sing. It all
- 9:56Speaker 7: started with the singing sportswriter Greg Cody from the Miami
- 9:58Speaker 7: Herald Now Hawk sanks. Fake Cody sings. You'll even hear
- 10:02Speaker 7: Michael Irvin singing in this category. Here's the nominees for
- 10:06Speaker 7: Best Song for the two thousand and seven Sioux Awards.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Hey sorry, And.

- 12:10Speaker 1: getting tasered.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I heard this on the pod. We'll enjoy it again.
- 12:15Speaker 11: You play for a bad hockey team and you never
- 12:17Speaker 11: make the playoffs. You're an athlete named ed and you're
- 12:20Speaker 11: forty one years old. You do the goalie pokey and
- 12:24Speaker 11: ed belfour gets arrested.
- 12:25Speaker 2: The j all smells like urine.
- 12:29Speaker 11: Ed belfour was resisting, so they shot him with the taser.
- 12:32Speaker 11: Then he fell to the ground and the police pulled
- 12:35Speaker 11: the goalie. You do the goalie pokey, and you trade
- 12:38Speaker 11: roberta Lawongo. Now you're stuck with tasered ed belfour. The
- 12:42Speaker 11: Panthers are finally in the news. There finally the lead story,
- 12:46Speaker 11: but it's not because of hockey.
- 12:47Speaker 2: There goalie got tasered.
- 12:49Speaker 11: In case you didn't hear me, I'll sing that again.
- 12:53Speaker 2: The Panthers goldie got tasered. Ed Belle for got tasered.
- 12:58Speaker 2: They tasered ed belfour. He is really really drunk. Then
- 13:01Speaker 2: they zapped him with the taser.

- 18:59Speaker 6: we know that's all you see our head.
- 19:04Speaker 19: Coach Fami can't let you lopiskin orgy.
- 19:09Speaker 6: It will be come aboard and lead a blessed.
- 19:15Speaker 13: To the.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And those are your nominees for Best Musical Performance for
- 19:30Speaker 1: the two thousand and seven SUI Awards.
- 19:34Speaker 3: What a snapshot in time man, Yes, a loaded category man,
- 19:40Speaker 3: oh my god. And there's so many categories in the
- 19:42Speaker 3: two thousand and seven suies, Like, I mean, we could
- 19:44Speaker 3: get weeks of material just listening to these bad but
- 19:48Speaker 3: I mean the songs were such a big, big part
- 19:52Speaker 3: of everything that we did.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Yeah, there are certain things that just you know, good,
- 19:57Speaker 4: They just bring back such great memories. The Fake Snow
- 20:01Speaker 4: did that for me. I mean all I did but
- 20:03Speaker 4: fake Snow. And then there were lines that I remember
- 20:06Speaker 4: until this day covorting with whores around the lake.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Yep, yeah, the.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Concussion line and then he punctuates it with ye yee.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I remember using that in like in different production elements.
- 20:22Speaker 4: And for those who don't know, it was Culpepper, right,
- 20:24Speaker 4: he had the issue with the going on the boat
- 20:27Speaker 4: around the lake?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Was it him? I believe so, yeah, Yeah, I think so.
- 20:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And then because he said also he fought.
- 20:34Speaker 4: A quarterback who wasn't covorting with whores around the lake?
- 20:36Speaker 2: Correct? Correct?
- 20:37Speaker 3: And then there was the quarterback whose name isn't after Citrus,
- 20:41Speaker 3: that pucker's your face was a reference to Khleio Lemon,
- 20:44Speaker 3: like Trent Green was going to be our savior, and
- 20:47Speaker 3: and fake Pavarotti was able to put it into a
- 20:49Speaker 3: lyrical uh lyrical genius output.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Man, that stuff is so good.
- 20:57Speaker 3: But even having Caliendo, like do the introduction there, like
- 21:00Speaker 3: the fake John madd and singing different strokes. Remember we
- 21:04Speaker 3: used to have calli Endo as all his characters sing
- 21:07Speaker 3: TV theme songs.
- 21:09Speaker 4: That's right, Yes, yeah, I confirmed it was Culpepper. It
- 21:12Speaker 4: was He called the boat the love boat, of course,
- 21:15Speaker 4: and I just wanted to make sure we weren't, you know,
- 21:18Speaker 4: smearing Dante Culpepper for no reason.
- 21:20Speaker 3: And the whole thing was alleged anyway, Yes, unless it's
- 21:25Speaker 3: been proven true and then it was no longer alleged.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So we'll do that.
- 21:30Speaker 3: We'll do some we'll do some of the fun Suey
- 21:33Speaker 3: Award categories in upcoming episodes. But man, those songs was
- 21:36Speaker 3: based off the last episode. I just wanted to play
- 21:38Speaker 3: some of those songs. I don't have time to get
- 21:41Speaker 3: to some of the other stuff that I may have
- 21:44Speaker 3: given you from Do.
- 21:45Speaker 2: You have from what I sent you on Monday?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Taylor?
- 21:48Speaker 3: Do you have the caller with the hawk harmonica song?
- 21:53Speaker 3: This is just apropos of nothing. We would take callers,
- 21:57Speaker 3: they'd have songs ready to go, and here is one
- 22:01Speaker 3: of the callers to the Levatard show years ago.
- 22:28Speaker 2: That's it, that's anger.
- 22:30Speaker 3: But then you got jealous that he sang a song
- 22:33Speaker 3: to the harmonica about me, so he called back, did one.
- 22:36Speaker 2: For you, Anthony, You're on seven ninety the ticket.
- 22:40Speaker 20: I heard ste God's whinding about having no song, so
- 22:42Speaker 20: I put a little something together for him. Hear him
- 22:49Speaker 20: yell no better, no better. See him punching at his glove.
- 22:57Speaker 20: He takes the field, spits and digs that his crotch.
- 23:01Speaker 20: He's a sorious softball player. He's do got to gods,
- 23:06Speaker 20: what you got? Hear him struggle to keep the show
- 23:11Speaker 20: alive with Lebtards on PT. I mentioned race and the
- 23:19Speaker 20: way he trots.
- 23:20Speaker 8: He don't stop.
- 23:22Speaker 20: Don't ever call him boom because he's to God. He
- 23:27Speaker 20: don't talk no PEPSI challenge. He's do got to got
- 23:33Speaker 20: to what you got to? God to Gods?
- 23:40Speaker 6: Wow, that.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Is really good stuff. I mean when I tell you
- 23:47Speaker 2: there's thousands of those, I mean I can't even imagine. Yes,

- 26:17Speaker 2: Because one of the songs that we played from Fake.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Cody dan Ugla's real middle name is Cooley. He kept
