European Investigators Say America Is Stonewalling Epstein Requests (9/10/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past few months, we've learned that
0:08
Speaker 1: the Trump administration doesn't want to help out when it
0:11
Speaker 1: comes to investigating Epstein over in Europe. And we're not
0:15
Speaker 1: talking about just one country here. We're talking about multiple countries.
0:20
Speaker 1: And you would think that the most transparent administration in
0:23
Speaker 1: the history of administrations would be a little bit more transparent,
0:26
Speaker 1: but I guess not. you would think that the Department
0:28
Speaker 1: of Justice would be all over this. Yeah, let us
0:32
Speaker 1: give you this information. Let's coordinate together. Let's make an
0:35
Speaker 1: international task force. And let's figure out what went on.
0:39
Speaker 1: But they don't care. And the DOJ just proves time
0:43
Speaker 1: and time again that all they're really interested in doing
0:46
Speaker 1: is making sure that this cover-up continues. They don't care
0:50
Speaker 1: about giving you the truth or transparency or holding anyone accountable.
0:54
Speaker 1: And there's a lot of shameless people out there, influencers
0:57
Speaker 1: and otherwise, that have picked up the call. I mean,
1:01
Speaker 1: how many people, prior to Donald Trump calling this a hoax,
1:06
Speaker 1: were out here telling you that this was real, that
1:08
Speaker 1: everything Epstein did needed to be exposed and brought into
1:12
Speaker 1: the public light, while now those same people are calling
1:15
Speaker 1: it a hoax? And wouldn't you know, some of those
1:18
Speaker 1: people who ran around running their mouths, yapping about how
1:21
Speaker 1: this is all just a gigantic hoax, well, it turns
1:24
Speaker 1: out a lot of those people were on the government payroll.
1:29
Speaker 1: And not only were they on the government payroll, but
1:31
Speaker 1: they decided to keep that fact from the public and
1:33
Speaker 1: their followers until they were outed. And wouldn't you know it,
1:37
Speaker 1: almost to a man and woman, they were all singing
1:40
Speaker 1: the same tune about Jeffrey Epstein. Today we have an
1:44
Speaker 1: article from Raw Story and the headline, Trump's DOJ goes
1:48
Speaker 1: five European nations hunting Jeffrey Epstein's global network. This article
1:53
Speaker 1: was authored by Travis Geddes. A year after the first
1:56
Speaker 1: batch of Jeffrey Epstein investigative files was released, law enforcement
2:00
Speaker 1: agencies in at least five countries, say the Justice Department,
2:04
Speaker 1: still has not responded to their formal requests for help.
2:08
Speaker 1: Imagine working at the DOJ and getting a request from
2:11
Speaker 1: like Latvia, or Estonia, or Poland, and it has to
2:15
Speaker 1: do with Jeffrey Epstein, and you know how many women
2:17
Speaker 1: were being brought in from Eastern Europe, and you just
2:20
Speaker 1: ignore it, or your boss tells you to ignore it.
2:23
Speaker 1: How quick would you be looking for a new job?
2:27
Speaker 1: Is there no integrity when it comes to these people
2:29
Speaker 1: at the DOJ? Just a bunch of bureaucrats, a bunch
2:32
Speaker 1: of yes men and women that are going to do
2:34
Speaker 1: whatever the government tells them to do? Pretty sad, honestly.
2:39
Speaker 1: You mean to tell me there's no whistleblowers? There's nobody
2:41
Speaker 1: that's willing to come out and talk about how this
2:44
Speaker 1: is a cover-up? Pathetic as fuck. And then you have
2:47
Speaker 1: all these former CIA officials and all these former FBI
2:51
Speaker 1: agents that get on the internet and talk about Epstein. Bitch,
2:54
Speaker 1: you were in the agency when all this was going on.
2:57
Speaker 1: What did you do to stop him? You know, guys
2:59
Speaker 1: like John Caracal, the other goofball that has, you know,
3:02
Speaker 1: the curly long hair. I don't even know his name.
3:05
Speaker 1: They make the rounds talking about Epstein, talking about this, that,
3:08
Speaker 1: and the other thing. And the truth is, we can't
3:12
Speaker 1: trust any of these people, really. How many of them
3:15
Speaker 1: are in the bag? How many of them are promoting
3:17
Speaker 1: the cover of? How many of them are enabling Jeffrey
3:20
Speaker 1: Epstein still? Officials in Poland, Norway, Latvia, the United Kingdom,
3:26
Speaker 1: and Germany told the Washington Post that requests for mutual
3:29
Speaker 1: legal assistance, the formal process that allows foreign investigators to
3:33
Speaker 1: obtain evidence, information, and testimony from the U.S., have gone unanswered. Like,
3:40
Speaker 1: what would be the reasoning for that? Why wouldn't you
3:43
Speaker 1: want to give these countries the information that you're looking for? Unless,
3:47
Speaker 1: of course, you're covering something up. And if that's the case...
3:52
Speaker 1: then yeah, I could understand why you don't want anybody
3:55
Speaker 1: else taking a look at the files. Last thing you
3:58
Speaker 1: need is another chef in the kitchen. But if everything
4:02
Speaker 1: was on the up and up, and there was a
4:04
Speaker 1: real investigation going on, and the administration really cared about
4:09
Speaker 1: getting to the truth, and letting the American people know
4:12
Speaker 1: each and every detail, even if it's painful, they would
4:16
Speaker 1: be doing that. But instead we have the complete opposite.
4:20
Speaker 1: They obfuscate, They attack, and they refuse to be transparent.
4:26
Speaker 1: No charges have resulted from the files released in the
4:29
Speaker 1: United States, but the documents expose Epstein's relationships with influential
4:33
Speaker 1: figures worldwide, including President Donald Trump, and the revelations have
4:37
Speaker 1: prompted international investigations of the late sex offenders' networks. And
4:42
Speaker 1: that's pathetic. Yo, the Latvian justice system has more teeth
4:47
Speaker 1: than the American justice system at this point? Makes sense.
4:51
Speaker 1: Considering how far it's fallen. Considering how the institution has
4:57
Speaker 1: neglected to fix its issues. Look, it's a tough pill
4:59
Speaker 1: to swallow as an American. But the truth is what
5:02
Speaker 1: the truth is. And the current administration, they have no
5:07
Speaker 1: desire to fix it. None. In fact, they just want
5:11
Speaker 1: to make it worse. The Justice Department disputed any suggestion.
5:15
Speaker 1: It's stonewalling. The Department of Justice has not refused to
5:18
Speaker 1: assist any jurisdiction. investigating potential criminal conduct related to Jeffrey Epstein,
5:24
Speaker 1: a DOJ spokesperson told The Telegraph last month, adding that
5:28
Speaker 1: the department remains committed to cooperating with all jurisdictions pursuing
5:32
Speaker 1: potential crimes. Then do it. What are you waiting for?
5:37
Speaker 1: All these different countries, all these different jurisdictions, have said
5:40
Speaker 1: that they won't give them the information that's been requested,
5:43
Speaker 1: including New Mexico. So, like, if they won't even play
5:46
Speaker 1: ball with a state in America... Do you really think
5:50
Speaker 1: they're going to give anything up to these European countries
5:53
Speaker 1: where they have no control over what comes next? I
5:57
Speaker 1: highly doubt it. Does that sound like a Trumpian thing
6:01
Speaker 1: to do? Give control to somebody else? The man has
6:06
Speaker 1: to be in control of everything, right? Just like he's
6:08
Speaker 1: in control of this cover-up. People don't like to hear it,
6:11
Speaker 1: but it's the truth. This is coming straight from the
6:14
Speaker 1: White House. And the fact that Todd Blanche was the
6:17
Speaker 1: AG pick and became the AG... It is really good evidence, okay?
6:24
Speaker 1: Trump needed somebody that can contain this, somebody that can
6:26
Speaker 1: control it, somebody that can act as the buffer. And
6:30
Speaker 1: who better than Todd baby Billy Blanche? However, officials from
6:36
Speaker 1: those European nations say their requests to the Trump administration
6:40
Speaker 1: have been met with silence. Poland's National Prosecutor's Office said
6:44
Speaker 1: the Justice Department has not responded to an April request.
6:49
Speaker 1: In Norway, State Prosecutor Marianne Bender said her office remains
6:53
Speaker 1: in communication with DOJ officials, but they have not, at
6:56
Speaker 1: this time, approved the request. And look, I just don't
6:59
Speaker 1: think they're going to. They're going to try and run
7:02
Speaker 1: out the clock. What they hope is that something else
7:06
Speaker 1: pops up, you know, midterms, whatever, and it's going to
7:09
Speaker 1: take the pressure off. And what they're really hoping for
7:12
Speaker 1: is that they can win at the midterm. And if
7:14
Speaker 1: they win the midterm, then they believe they'll have the
7:16
Speaker 1: Allies in place, to kill the second discharge petition and
7:20
Speaker 1: make the story go away. That's the goal, that's the plan,
7:24
Speaker 1: that's the plot, and you certainly don't have to be
7:26
Speaker 1: some great investigator or somebody with foresight to figure that out.
7:32
Speaker 1: Latvia State Police said that they have sent several requests
7:35
Speaker 1: and no responses have yet been received. Britain's formal request
7:39
Speaker 1: followed informal talks that DOJ had already failed to advance,
7:43
Speaker 1: according to the Times of London, and German Federal Police
7:46
Speaker 1: said say they remain in contact with the FBI without resolution.
7:51
Speaker 1: So we're talking about some of America's traditional allies here. Germany,
7:56
Speaker 1: the UK, you know, people that we're usually pretty quick
8:01
Speaker 1: to share information with, right? Close relationship for the most part. Well,
8:06
Speaker 1: until Trump. Now, of course, everything's frayed. And listen, not
8:10
Speaker 1: all of it is Trump's fault, right? Europe certainly has
8:14
Speaker 1: its own issues. But when it comes to this, certainly 100%,
8:18
Speaker 1: the DOJ and Donald Trump's fault. And there's no getting
8:22
Speaker 1: around that. There's no debating that. And there's nobody that's
8:26
Speaker 1: going to try and explain it away. They have all
8:29
Speaker 1: the power, all the cards, and they refuse to use them.
8:33
Speaker 1: The stakes are highest in Norway, where three prominent figures,
8:36
Speaker 1: former diplomat Terry Rod Larson and Mana Jule, and former
8:40
Speaker 1: Prime Minister Thorborn Jagland, face corruption charges, all connected to
8:44
Speaker 1: their relationship with Epstein. I'll deny wrongdoing. Oh, they were
8:48
Speaker 1: all in on it, no doubt about that. Financially. And
8:52
Speaker 1: this is the way that it should go. All these
8:54
Speaker 1: people that were engaged with Epstein financially, they should all
8:57
Speaker 1: be held accountable. You mean to tell me there was
9:00
Speaker 1: no money laundering or financial malfeasance? Give me a break. Like,
9:04
Speaker 1: come on. Anybody who says that shit is either stupid
9:09
Speaker 1: as hell or they're lying to you. Rod Larson's attorney
9:14
Speaker 1: said Norwegian prosecutors... have specifically sought additional records from DOJ
9:19
Speaker 1: and investigative steps involving the International Peace Institute in New York,
9:24
Speaker 1: where his client previously served as president. Bender called the
9:27
Speaker 1: lack of U.S. response very unfortunate for that country's investigation. Well,
9:32
Speaker 1: if you want to have the best chance of a
9:33
Speaker 1: successful prosecution, you have to have the information, right? And
9:37
Speaker 1: if that information is in American hands, then they have
9:41
Speaker 1: to get their hands on it. But if the DOJ
9:43
Speaker 1: doesn't want to give them that information, obviously, It's going
9:46
Speaker 1: to make things a lot more difficult. Now, does the
9:49
Speaker 1: DOJ not want to hand that information over because it
9:52
Speaker 1: will lead back to them or back to whoever was
9:56
Speaker 1: running Epstein's operation? Well, that's certainly one scenario. especially if
10:00
Speaker 1: we're talking about financial crimes. A little bit harder to
10:04
Speaker 1: explain your way out of that. The Justice Department's Office
10:08
Speaker 1: of International Affairs, which processes such requests, has faced documented
10:13
Speaker 1: operational problems for years. A 2021 Inspector General report found
10:18
Speaker 1: it's plagued by high staff turnover, outdated technology, and oversized caseloads.
10:24
Speaker 1: And a former DOJ attorney who worked in the office
10:27
Speaker 1: said such requests are inherently complex, particularly when they involve
10:31
Speaker 1: voluminous records or contested redactions. Oh, cut through the red tape.
10:35
Speaker 1: Give me a break. Put some of these lawyers together,
10:39
Speaker 1: put a package together, and give it to the allies.
10:42
Speaker 1: What's the problem here? Unless you're trying to cover it up. Meanwhile, U.S. lawmakers...
10:48
Speaker 1: continue pressing the DOJ for more transparency domestically, saying Epstein-related
10:53
Speaker 1: documents remain missing or unnecessarily redacted, even after Congress voted
10:58
Speaker 1: overwhelmingly last November to compel their release. Well, it doesn't
11:03
Speaker 1: matter what Congress says or does, because the DOJ obviously
11:06
Speaker 1: is going to do whatever they want to do. And unfortunately,
11:10
Speaker 1: when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein, they're not going to
11:12
Speaker 1: do anything. All the information that goes with this episode
