- 0:52Speaker 4: We went down to the Dunedin Craft Beer and Food
- 0:55Speaker 4: Festival on the Friday, I came home on the Saturday
- 0:59Speaker 4: with Hoodie Jay. You guys stuck around till yesterday and
- 1:02Speaker 4: it sounds like you really made the most of what
- 1:05Speaker 4: was on offer down there, and we're going to crack
- 1:07Speaker 4: into it a little bit soon. But both of you
- 1:09Speaker 4: look like garbage. Yeah, you sound like garbage. I am
- 1:13Speaker 4: looking forward to the next three hours of this show.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Just you guys look great. But you know what I'm saying,
- 1:17Speaker 4: this is normally how I feel on a Monday, what
- 1:19Speaker 4: I'm seeing here, So this feels good for me.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah, this is what you look like on a Monday, Maggie.
- 1:24Speaker 2: But the good thing is right, Pugs, and we are
- 1:26Speaker 2: going to get into the soon. We pushed the boat out,
- 1:28Speaker 2: we got stuck in, and then you come back and
- 1:30Speaker 2: everyone goes, oh, nice work, Fellas. Yeah, way to represent
- 1:32Speaker 2: the Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, which is bizarre. Were I
- 1:37Speaker 2: get home to my wife and she's just like, you
- 1:38Speaker 2: look terrible.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going for a walk, and I was like, ah,
- 1:41Speaker 4: damn it.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Good but Pug sound how are you going?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Man? I'm good Fellas.
- 1:44Speaker 3: How are you guys?
- 1:45Speaker 4: Yeah? Great?
- 1:46Speaker 3: Really to be here with you. And let me just say, Maggie,
- 1:49Speaker 3: you not only feel a million bucks man, you look at.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Thanks so much matter. I've got a fresh new do.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah is this?
- 1:56Speaker 4: I mean?
- 1:57Speaker 2: You don't have to start the show by complimented Moggie
- 1:59Speaker 2: just because Jace does that came from the heart, did it?
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of the show, Yeah, what's coming up on
- 2:05Speaker 2: the show man?
- 2:06Speaker 3: Oh, hang on, I'm going to find this what's happening
- 2:14Speaker 3: on the Big Show with old Mogi.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Well, to be completely honest, it's largely going to be
- 2:20Speaker 4: geared around everything that happened while we're away for the weekend.
- 2:22Speaker 4: There's going to be a hell of a lot of
- 2:24Speaker 4: duneed and craft beer and food festival chat. There'll be
- 2:27Speaker 4: me on my flight down there having an absolute shockle
- 2:30Speaker 4: and I tried to be a good Samaritan. Keysy is
- 2:33Speaker 4: trying to get the smell of daries out of his shirt.
- 2:35Speaker 4: We both had we all had terrible or weird uber experiences.
- 2:40Speaker 4: So yeah, that's pretty much going to be. Yeah, and
- 2:41Speaker 4: there'll be a hell of a lot of sports chat. Actually,
- 2:43Speaker 4: we need to talk with the all Blacks, and we
- 2:44Speaker 4: need to talk about the Kiwis versus some or yesterday
- 2:49Speaker 4: some bloody great sport played over the weekend.
- 2:51Speaker 1: In the meantime, she had the Hierarchy Big Show weekdays
- 2:55Speaker 1: from four on Radio Chemical Brothers on the.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Hidarchy Big Shows. Well, but it's past four this Monday
- 3:00Speaker 2: afternoon with Keesy, Mogi and Pugs and Judy j Film
- 3:03Speaker 2: and he'll be back tomorrow. But Fellers, we just spent,
- 3:07Speaker 2: not afraid to say that, one excellent weekend down in
- 3:11Speaker 2: Dunedin at the Craft Beer and Food Festival. It's the
- 3:14Speaker 2: first time I've gone down to that festival.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Mogi.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yes, Traditionally it was always Matt Heath used to be
- 3:19Speaker 2: on the Breakfast Show. He's from Dunedin. It was always
- 3:21Speaker 2: his territory. The Breakfast Show were always all over it.
- 3:25Speaker 2: And I've got to say I'm so pleased that he left.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I was stoked anyway, Yeah, exactly, for
- 3:32Speaker 4: so many reasons. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 2: But one of the other reasons I'm stoked he's left
- 3:36Speaker 2: wasn't his broadcasting abilities. It's the fact that we now
- 3:39Speaker 2: get to go down to Dunedin and do that festival.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It was an absolute ripper And is.
- 3:43Speaker 4: A tree, isn't I've never been down there. I think
- 3:44Speaker 4: they call it the Susteamer. It is a bit of
- 3:46Speaker 4: a taplewair container, but what a fantastic compact. And I
- 3:50Speaker 4: think it must be the only stadium in the country
- 3:52Speaker 4: that is I'm pretty sure, just purpose built for Raby. Yeah,
- 3:57Speaker 4: and that's it. There's no cricket, there's no athletics as
- 3:59Speaker 4: you're right on top of the of the field there,
- 4:02Speaker 4: but a hell of a layout. So it was you
- 4:04Speaker 4: got your beers, you got all your food, but there's
- 4:08Speaker 4: also heaps of other kind of drinks. There's gins, there's
- 4:10Speaker 4: a margarita store. Now I was on the zero so
- 4:12Speaker 4: I saw but I saw the margaritas there. I was like,
- 4:15Speaker 4: oh God, temptation. Temptation has come to visit me. But
- 4:20Speaker 4: I managed to stay away from it but still had
- 4:22Speaker 4: a great time. And then they also had a stage
- 4:25Speaker 4: where you had Tiki played jin wigmore. Did Dave Dobbin
- 4:28Speaker 4: play there?
- 4:29Speaker 2: No, he was playing at the town Hall? Oh yeah,
- 4:31Speaker 2: so he could have had a double header. But there
- 4:32Speaker 2: were plenty of other great bands too, including Ivy and.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Ivy Bootleg Rascal as well.
- 4:37Speaker 2: They were great and Pugs was up the front grooming
- 4:39Speaker 2: for a lot of it, which was great, and also
- 4:41Speaker 2: just the food. On off of the fact that it
- 4:44Speaker 2: was a beautiful sunny day twice in a row. It
- 4:46Speaker 2: was absolutely stockingly hot and every single person we met
- 4:50Speaker 2: was excellent. There are a few shout outs that need
- 4:52Speaker 2: to be made. Okay, we're gonna start with rares and
- 4:55Speaker 2: warez oh that fellers from members fellas remember Cargol. Having
- 4:59Speaker 2: recently watched Beautiful Mind featuring Russell Crowe, I wasn't sure
- 5:02Speaker 2: if they existed or not, because they were with me
- 5:04Speaker 2: the entire festival and they were supplying durries and all
- 5:08Speaker 2: sorts of things, and I couldn't quite believe if they
- 5:10Speaker 2: were real or not. Also a big shout out to
- 5:13Speaker 2: DJ Phil. He was on end.
- 5:15Speaker 3: He let me on there and we went back to
- 5:17Speaker 3: back to back to back to back. On that second day,
- 5:19Speaker 3: especially the first day he was like, oh, look man,
- 5:21Speaker 3: just let me have this one. I was like, yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 3: one hundred percent, do what you got to do. I
- 5:23Speaker 3: just happened to bring my USB's and then the second
- 5:25Speaker 3: day was like, nah, let's get weird. And it got
- 5:28Speaker 3: so weird on and off for hours.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Great.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It was great. Jendles that works at Emerson. She was
- 5:35Speaker 2: lovely hooked me up with a couple of delicious pies
- 5:37Speaker 2: and a few things like that. So there were just
- 5:39Speaker 2: every single person we spoke to, and I was gas
- 5:41Speaker 2: bagging the entire weekend. So many great people and just
- 5:46Speaker 2: such an amazing experience. So I'm stoked that we've taken
- 5:48Speaker 2: over and we'll be there again next year absolutely, And
- 5:51Speaker 2: if you haven't been along, make sure you your book
- 5:53Speaker 2: a trip and go down and spend the weekend there.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's the Friday and the Sat Day as well.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Funny demographic as well, wasn't it, because you know it's
- 5:59Speaker 4: a Uni town. So we had a few more even
- 6:01Speaker 4: younger ones than we would normally see, sort of sitting
- 6:04Speaker 4: around that twenty twenty one year old sort of age range.
- 6:07Speaker 4: There was even some woman there, some females.
- 6:10Speaker 3: There were some females saying maybe the most women at
- 6:12Speaker 3: an outside.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Well, certainly for us to have sort of eight to
- 6:16Speaker 4: ten standing directly in front of us, the dea sort
- 6:18Speaker 4: of like they knew who we were. They seem to
- 6:21Speaker 4: know who we were. They certainly didn't know recognize Jason's throbber,
- 6:26Speaker 4: and there was a look of and there was a
- 6:28Speaker 4: look of confusion on the face on their faces where
- 6:31Speaker 4: even when Bears from dejah Voodu came on.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Well, I've got it met bears from dejah Voudou Matt
- 6:36Speaker 2: Hayes band that came out in like the mid two thousands.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Absolutely absolutely so they you know, it hasn't been played.
- 6:42Speaker 4: But Bliss on the other hand, which won thankfully for me.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Old Mogi there Extender's lead. They had heard of that one,
- 6:48Speaker 4: and I think that's all it was. That it came
- 6:50Speaker 4: down to, it is which of these three garbage songs
- 6:53Speaker 4: have I heard? Yeah? Correct?
- 6:54Speaker 3: The feedback on the Big to Douche was magnificent as well.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Obviously Emerson's had their epic range of beers there too,
- 7:00Speaker 3: but there was a stand solely for the Big de Douche,
- 7:03Speaker 3: which the local team from from Hodaki down there. We're
- 7:07Speaker 3: handing out.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Delicious Well we get once again's there? I feel like
- 7:11Speaker 2: I've already used mine. Yeah. It was a big weekend,
- 7:16Speaker 2: responsible weekend, but a big shout out to everyone we
- 7:19Speaker 2: met and can't wait to get back down there again
- 7:21Speaker 2: next week. I wonder if they've heard of this song
- 7:24Speaker 2: next week?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Next week?
- 7:26Speaker 2: Man, sorry, I mean next year.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Jee God damn.
- 7:32Speaker 1: The Holdaking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 7:35Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio hold Iki Green.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Day on the Hidacky Big Show. This Monday afternoon, You've
- 7:40Speaker 2: got Kezy, Meg and pug Son hooty joke back on
- 7:42Speaker 2: Dick tomorrow.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Yeah, feel as when we were down there at the
- 7:46Speaker 4: amazing Dunied and Craft Beer and Food Festival, I had
- 7:52Speaker 4: to come back a day early. Yeah, a day earlier
- 7:54Speaker 4: than you guys. I would love to stay in campaign,
- 7:56Speaker 4: but I had to get back and do a little
- 7:57Speaker 4: bit of you know, bits and pieces around the house etc.
- 8:02Speaker 4: But Jesus, I don't know if you guys know that
- 8:04Speaker 4: airport's bloody miles away from Dunedin, isn't it. Yeah, she's
- 8:07Speaker 4: a bit of a cruise. So I had to call
- 8:09Speaker 4: an uber. The uber's worth about one hundred buck. It's
- 8:12Speaker 4: a good little win if you're an uber driver. Then
- 8:14Speaker 4: he came and picked me up about six o'clock in
- 8:16Speaker 4: the morning. He was a few minutes late, man, But
- 8:19Speaker 4: no big deal, that's all ge, No big deal man.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Mention, did you pre book it?
- 8:24Speaker 4: I pre booked it and it was late. I always
- 8:26Speaker 4: pre book Yeah, so in my experience, they're never They're
- 8:29Speaker 4: never late. Now I can change that to the never
- 8:31Speaker 4: late in Auckland. Yeah, right, in my experience. But anyway,
- 8:34Speaker 4: jumping this Skuy's car. He's an Indian person, human man?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Is that racist? No, it's not, but it's important for
- 8:42Speaker 4: the story. I get him to the car. He's got
- 8:45Speaker 4: the heater on. It's twenty six point five degrees celsius
- 8:50Speaker 4: in that car and it is on maximum fan. So
- 8:54Speaker 4: it is like getting into hell jumping into that car.
- 8:58Speaker 4: So I immediately, you know, say my as and all
- 9:00Speaker 4: that sort of stuff, and start driving away and I
- 9:04Speaker 4: do the window down a little bit. I'm thinking that'll
- 9:06Speaker 4: be all good. And then I'm like, oh no, because
- 9:08Speaker 4: I feel bad. I don't want to have to do it,
- 9:10Speaker 4: but I have to do it. Said, man, can you
- 9:12Speaker 4: can you turn the heat down a little bit? It's
- 9:14Speaker 4: pretty hot in here a And he says, ah, no,
- 9:17Speaker 4: that's just because you're wearing a because you're wearing a jersey,
- 9:22Speaker 4: So now it's not. So then he turns it down.
- 9:25Speaker 4: He turns it down. Then he immediately puts his hoodie up.
- 9:29Speaker 3: He's also wearing a ho so he's.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Wearing a hoodie. Yeah he yeah, but he puts his
- 9:34Speaker 4: up because that's how cold he is, you see, yeah, man,
- 9:37Speaker 4: So I said to him, are you freezing? Are you?
- 9:39Speaker 3: Man?
- 9:39Speaker 4: He's like yeah. So now he's now I'm having a
- 9:41Speaker 4: fight with the Uber driver. Like he's my missus. It's
- 9:45Speaker 4: not aggressive, it's passive aggressive. That is the exact kind
- 9:48Speaker 4: of argument to have with you. Oh yeah, yeah yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 4: and it'll be the sort of thing put up the hoodie.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Are you all good?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:52Speaker 4: I'm fine, absolutely not fine. Few men, he was, So
- 9:57Speaker 4: we keep going out there. Now I'm trying to cheer
- 9:59Speaker 4: him up the same as I would be in this relationship. Right,
- 10:03Speaker 4: So I say, so, when you get out to the airport,
- 10:06Speaker 4: do you wait for a plane to get because it's
- 10:08Speaker 4: one hundred bucks. One hundred bucks is unbelievable. So I said,
- 10:11Speaker 4: you know, when you get out there, do you wait
- 10:12Speaker 4: for a plane to land and then you can get
- 10:14Speaker 4: a fear back in nah? Wow nat right eh. Then
- 10:20Speaker 4: we get about fifteen minutes into this trip, and it's
- 10:22Speaker 4: about a twenty five to thirty minute trip. Fifteen minutes
- 10:25Speaker 4: into it, he says to me, are you going to
- 10:28Speaker 4: the airport? Are you going to the airport?
- 10:32Speaker 2: He sounds like the man, He sounds great, So okay,
- 10:36Speaker 2: So he was a bit of a space kid. It's
- 10:38Speaker 2: an absolute lou who had accidentally moved to Dunedin and
- 10:41Speaker 2: was freezing ball.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, we had a different kind of Uber driving our
- 10:46Speaker 2: picture of this. We've been getting stuck in for two
- 10:47Speaker 2: days of the beer festival. We get picked up in
- 10:50Speaker 2: the morning. We are rex of human beings, my South
- 10:52Speaker 2: Pugs and back from the day show. And as soon
- 10:56Speaker 2: as he starts the car, this is what it sounds like.
- 11:09Speaker 3: So that's actually recorded live in the The car is vibrating.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And then you can hear Pugstan surely.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Tune hungover.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Sorry, that's quite loud.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Sorry, And that's exactly how you talk to him.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And then I told him I was hungover, and he goes, oh,
- 11:34Speaker 2: you guys been at the b official and then I
- 11:36Speaker 2: said yes, and he cracked up laughing. He's like, yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 2: well good man, and turn it down again. And I
- 11:40Speaker 2: was like, if it wasn't the first thing in the
- 11:42Speaker 2: morning on a Sunday, it would be excellent.
- 11:45Speaker 4: If it was the other way around. You got the
- 11:47Speaker 4: ride from the airport and you're on your way to
- 11:48Speaker 4: the b Yeah, Sunday morning, hung yeah, double day you hangover?
- 11:54Speaker 4: No good, not terrible.
- 11:56Speaker 1: The whole Rocky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 11:59Speaker 1: tune in week day four on Radio Houky.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It is sublime on the high, Ucky Big show twenty
- 12:04Speaker 2: four minutes to five this Monday afternoon with Keezy Moogi
- 12:07Speaker 2: and Pugs and Houghty J. Back on deck tomorrow if
- 12:09Speaker 2: you do need some houghty j action. However, we, with
- 12:12Speaker 2: the help of Holiday Records create a created a limited
- 12:16Speaker 2: run of Big Show Vinyl. It is a podcast on vinyl.
- 12:19Speaker 2: It is groundbreaking stuff and it is the origin story
- 12:21Speaker 2: of how our show came to be. This is completely
- 12:24Speaker 2: sold out. It was a limited run as mentioned. However,
- 12:27Speaker 2: we have got a few copies still up our sleeve,
- 12:30Speaker 2: so if you would like to win one, give us
- 12:31Speaker 2: a call now and a eight hundred hoduky and you
- 12:33Speaker 2: could be listening to some of this.
- 12:37Speaker 4: I was in a scenario where I wasn't sure whether
- 12:39Speaker 4: to put my age back a couple of years or
- 12:41Speaker 4: ford a couple of years. And then you walked away
- 12:44Speaker 4: and that was it. But you turned around, looked at me,
- 12:45Speaker 4: and we're sort of like, yeah.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you guys have never done that with me.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You've never walked off from a Big show. Turned around,
- 12:51Speaker 2: I got yeh yeah, human feces.
- 12:55Speaker 4: And I remember when you were doing the night show,
- 12:57Speaker 4: because you used to come and dress an immaculate so
- 13:00Speaker 4: it's all the time, Jason, just and like you mate,
- 13:07Speaker 4: our eyes locked.
- 13:08Speaker 3: That means a lot, Jason, And I'll make sure I
- 13:10Speaker 3: leave this on the wax.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Well, you know sometimes bands abbreviate stuff Gezy, it's my steffee.
- 13:17Speaker 2: We still have very much have this mentality of like
- 13:20Speaker 2: obviously we're team Hodaki or whatever, but we're definitely big
- 13:23Speaker 2: shows in a thing where if you mess with any
- 13:26Speaker 2: one of us, like you get to do get God.
- 13:30Speaker 2: That sounds excellent, so good.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I'm going to listen to it at home. But yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 4: I haven't heard it.
- 13:36Speaker 2: It will be it will be worth listening back to.
- 13:38Speaker 2: We did a couple of months ago now, and it
- 13:40Speaker 2: was it was an interesting chat because every time we
- 13:41Speaker 2: get in the studio we take the purse. Yeah, but
- 13:43Speaker 2: for that chat, it was a very serious like.
- 13:45Speaker 3: There was a lot of earnest stuff. I've listened to
- 13:47Speaker 3: it more times than I can count now. Yeah, on
- 13:49Speaker 3: that test pressing as well, just because it's a great listen,
- 13:52Speaker 3: but also just because we were putting it together, piecing
- 13:55Speaker 3: it together as a team and making sure that everything
- 13:57Speaker 3: in there was kosher.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Yeah, am I right?
- 13:59Speaker 3: That?
- 13:59Speaker 4: It's also got some greatest hits breaks in there.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Yes, so we all kind of. When we were planning it,
- 14:03Speaker 3: we made a little list of some of our favorite
- 14:05Speaker 3: moments from the Big Show over the years. So I've
- 14:07Speaker 3: included some of those. But also when we talk about,
- 14:10Speaker 3: for example, moments where you and j Smith or with
- 14:13Speaker 3: Big Show first got together, I've included audio from those,
- 14:17Speaker 3: just little pieces of it.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, right, good stuff, Parks, and you're the DJ master
- 14:22Speaker 2: behind it. Do you want to pick a phone call here? Man?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Sure, I'm just going to pick a random number.
- 14:26Speaker 4: You go for it.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Okay, here we go?
- 14:28Speaker 4: Oh, not that one?
- 14:29Speaker 2: HOLDARKI Who is this.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Jack speaking? Jack? Get O?
- 14:33Speaker 2: You're mayor Basia? What are you calling from? Man? Going
- 14:36Speaker 2: in from Auckland? Jack from Auckland? Good stuff?
- 14:38Speaker 4: What do you do for a crush? You're sick?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Would you like a copy of one of the last
- 14:48Speaker 2: Big Show vinyls?
- 14:49Speaker 4: My friend?
- 14:50Speaker 3: I would love be a perfect condition to the collection.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Tell you what, Jack? You hold the line there, man,
- 14:56Speaker 2: we'll flip that out to you. All right, Yes, bloody rippers?
- 14:59Speaker 2: So did you hear how happy that bar?
- 15:02Speaker 4: He was absolutely Frothen we have made Jack's life.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I could be wrong, but he seems like he's completely
- 15:09Speaker 4: out of serotone in this Monday morning. That seems about right.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Maybe he went to be a fish.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Yeah, he might have been there.
- 15:15Speaker 2: What I don't know what you're talking about, man, Huh.
- 15:18Speaker 2: We had a nice responsible weekend down in Duned and
- 15:20Speaker 2: another few of those vinyls we've still got left, by
- 15:23Speaker 2: the way, we'll give away another one tomorrow on the show.
- 15:24Speaker 2: So if you missed out, keep an ear out. In
- 15:26Speaker 2: the meantime, Kings of Leon, it is super Socer. You're
- 15:29Speaker 2: on The Hucky Big Show.
- 15:31Speaker 1: The Hurarchy Big Show, week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 15:35Speaker 2: It has been not oil on The Huducky Big Show
- 15:36Speaker 2: twelve minutes to five this Monday afternoon with Keesy, Moggi
- 15:39Speaker 2: and Pugs. Let's talk TV.
- 15:43Speaker 3: What on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 15:49Speaker 4: He is I watched a show called The Pet The
- 15:58Speaker 4: Pets Now that might be on on I can't remember
- 16:00Speaker 4: what it's on, but it's it's got Noah while and
- 16:03Speaker 4: or Noah Wiley. I feel like it might be Wiley.
- 16:06Speaker 4: But he used to be in a show called Chicago
- 16:08Speaker 4: Hope back in the day, which was sort of Chicago
- 16:10Speaker 4: Hope and El both said in hospitals. Yeah, so he
- 16:13Speaker 4: was a huge star back then, Telly star. He's done
- 16:16Speaker 4: nothing since. And now they've made this new mini series
- 16:18Speaker 4: called The Pit and it's twenty as twenty there you go,
- 16:22Speaker 4: Prime Video. So it's I think it's twenty four hours
- 16:25Speaker 4: in a hospital. Yes, and you know, it sort of
- 16:29Speaker 4: touches on the lack of funding, the you know, the
- 16:32Speaker 4: lack of staffing, you know, all of those sorts of things. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 4: medical and health support for profit, you know, which is
- 16:41Speaker 4: how they do it over in the States. Boring airs,
- 16:46Speaker 4: really boring airs. I got. I finished the FIRS. I
- 16:49Speaker 4: nearly finished the first episode. It was like Chicago Hope.
- 16:52Speaker 4: It was like a soap sort of thing. And yet
- 16:55Speaker 4: and yet at one Yeah, Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor
- 16:59Speaker 4: and AMA Series Supporting Actress in the GRAMA series. It
- 17:03Speaker 4: was a big winner. This year's Emmy was so I
- 17:04Speaker 4: thought i'd watch it. I just I don't know. Maybe
- 17:07Speaker 4: if you keep ganing.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Eight point nine out of ten IMDb ninety five percent
- 17:11Speaker 2: Rotten Tomatoes.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Wow, I don't know. Can you have it? Can you
- 17:13Speaker 4: touch on that Rotten Tomatoes score and just see what
- 17:17Speaker 4: what percentage audience give it versus critics because oftentimes that
- 17:20Speaker 4: can be a weee way apart. But yeah, anyway, not
- 17:23Speaker 4: for me. And I also I don't like watching stuff
- 17:26Speaker 4: that depresses me, right, do you know what I mean?
- 17:29Speaker 4: So I don't find things that are depressing to be entertaining.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Jace loves it, but he.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Loves it, so that's what he does. That's what he
- 17:37Speaker 4: does with his music as well. Right, he wants to
- 17:39Speaker 4: feel horrible.
- 17:43Speaker 2: On the tomato meter or eighty seven percent on the
- 17:46Speaker 2: popcorn meter.
- 17:47Speaker 4: There you go.
- 17:49Speaker 2: The audience, right, okay, and that's eighty seven percent as well.
- 17:52Speaker 2: There you Maybe I need to watch more episodes. Maybe
- 17:55Speaker 2: that's on me, all right. That's It's called The Pit
- 17:57Speaker 2: and it's on Prime Video. Pug Sunt.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Started a new show last night, Fellas not a new show,
- 18:04Speaker 3: but it was new to me. It's called How to
- 18:05Speaker 3: Get Away with Murder. Oh you guys remember that a
- 18:08Speaker 3: couple of years ago, wasn't it.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:10Speaker 3: It started in twenty fourteen, and I remember it getting
- 18:12Speaker 3: really wild around the time I went to UNI a
- 18:14Speaker 3: couple of years ago. It was a little bit news.
- 18:16Speaker 4: I've never heard of it, I don't think, so.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Basically, is it viola Davis, the old Davis. She plays
- 18:21Speaker 3: this very prestigious and hard case law professor and all
- 18:26Speaker 3: her students get involved in her or come to her
- 18:28Speaker 3: cases as she's defending these really really high profile crimes
- 18:32Speaker 3: and murders and stuff. And then there's a murder involved
- 18:36Speaker 3: within the class within the classroom.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Who did it? Huh?
- 18:40Speaker 3: One episode, so I'll let you know how it was.
- 18:44Speaker 3: It good. I'm really enjoying it. It's very sensationalized. It's
- 18:48Speaker 3: very like fast paced. They like fast forward the end
- 18:51Speaker 3: of scenes to like wind up the scene, and they
- 18:53Speaker 3: do all these flashy flashbacks and stuff. It's very much
- 18:56Speaker 3: like you could tell it was something that people who
- 18:59Speaker 3: like watch so would really like, you know what I mean.
- 19:02Speaker 3: But I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I'm keen to see what happens.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Everybody's involved with each other romantically with these twisty bits
- 19:08Speaker 3: and everybody's bonkings.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Nd percent, Man, how many busies out of five.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Give it a three out of five so far? And
- 19:15Speaker 3: that's on Netflix, that is on Disney PLUSNT plus.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I watched a little look. I watched the
- 19:22Speaker 2: same set kind of bin watching peep Show, which is
- 19:25Speaker 2: on Love Prime. Great British comedy. I won't bang on
- 19:27Speaker 2: about that. I also watched a little sort of one
- 19:30Speaker 2: hour long extravaganza on the Louver heist. Right, oh yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 2: so interesting, And it was just like there are certain
- 19:38Speaker 2: things that people will know all about, like, for example,
- 19:40Speaker 2: there's always construction going on in Paris. These guys just
- 19:42Speaker 2: had high visits on and a truck that just raised.
- 19:45Speaker 2: It's like a cherry pick of things that went up
- 19:47Speaker 2: to the balcony. They cut a hole in the window,
- 19:48Speaker 2: grabbed the shit, hop back in the truck. They were
- 19:51Speaker 2: supposed to set the truck on fire to get rid
- 19:53Speaker 2: of any DNA. They didn't have time because the police arrived,
- 19:55Speaker 2: so they hopped on scooters bug it off. The police
- 19:57Speaker 2: have then used the DNA that was left behind two
- 20:00Speaker 2: and it met like obviously you're going to get more
- 20:02Speaker 2: than just the people that were involved. But some of
- 20:04Speaker 2: the people involved were former jewel thieves.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Oh my god, court.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I think a quarter about five of them. But the
- 20:10Speaker 2: heartbreaking thing is those those jewels are worth hundreds of
- 20:14Speaker 2: the priceless. But when you melt them down and take
- 20:16Speaker 2: away all the parts, which is what they're going to do,
- 20:18Speaker 2: they are worth like only thirteen million euro or something.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Oh wow only but oh no, but like it's priceless. Yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 2: you know what I mean, very interesting, very interesting.
- 20:26Speaker 4: How would you rate the docade.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Ah three and a half busies out of five and
- 20:33Speaker 2: a half.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I hungover Monday three and a half exactly what
- 20:36Speaker 4: it was Megi.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Here's Aerosmith.
- 20:41Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on Radio Hodaki.
- 20:47Speaker 2: This is the hdarky Big Show for Monday, the tenth
- 20:49Speaker 2: of November. You've got Kezy, Moggi and pugsan Hoodie j
- 20:52Speaker 2: is filming. He'll be back again tomorrow. But of course
- 20:55Speaker 2: the Big Show is still brought to you by Reburg.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Year handcrafted big gears, loaded fries and Gormet eats that
- 21:00Speaker 3: will change the game.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yum yum. Yeah.
- 21:04Speaker 3: It just reminds me of the Fellers from a mcgagle
- 21:07Speaker 3: at BFS.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Yeah. For some reason we just started trying to say
- 21:11Speaker 2: youm like that playing.
- 21:12Speaker 3: It was one hundred yum yum. It was Rory every time,
- 21:17Speaker 3: like he would pop back to and from the tent
- 21:19Speaker 3: every now and then, and I just get a tap
- 21:21Speaker 3: on the shoulder and turn around and here just look
- 21:22Speaker 3: at me and go yum yum.
- 21:26Speaker 2: So good. It's something that you know, in the cold
- 21:28Speaker 2: light of day, Is it really that funny?
- 21:31Speaker 3: Not a great feedback on the Reburgers things, if I
- 21:33Speaker 3: can too for a moment, that was really good to hear.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And we actually went down to Reburger in Donedan
- 21:38Speaker 2: and filmed a little little thing that we're going to
- 21:40Speaker 2: release on social media in a few days time. It
- 21:43Speaker 2: was quite fun. It was I got to put on
- 21:45Speaker 2: a Reburger uniform and get behind the old counter of
- 21:48Speaker 2: the area.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Yeah, you did. You fell to pieces though, didn't you
- 21:51Speaker 4: when a member of the public came up and asked
- 21:52Speaker 4: you what the hot swatter sauce was and you started
- 21:55Speaker 4: trying to bluff your way through it, and you immediately
- 21:57Speaker 4: fell apart and then war really and then came back
- 22:01Speaker 4: out into the restaurant. But yeah, it would have been
- 22:03Speaker 4: a good opportunity to tell some lies, but you did
- 22:05Speaker 4: the right thing.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I don't well, yeah, because she was like, hey, how
- 22:08Speaker 2: spicy is the honey mustard blah blah blah, and I
- 22:11Speaker 2: was just like, oh, sorry, which one was it? And
- 22:13Speaker 2: I was like OK. And then I realized I had
- 22:15Speaker 2: no chat and I actually had nothing to offer, and
- 22:18Speaker 2: I was like, I'm just gonna tamp out of so
- 22:20Speaker 2: I'll go grab Edgar the store manager.
- 22:22Speaker 4: He'll so out.
- 22:23Speaker 2: But that video will come out later this week. Hey,
- 22:26Speaker 2: Pugs Moggie, how do you get dorry smell out of
- 22:28Speaker 2: a jacket?
- 22:29Speaker 4: We're going to get into it, aren't we.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we certainly are asking for a smuggie. It's actually
- 22:34Speaker 2: your fault, Pugs. What that my jacket smells like dorries shot?
- 22:39Speaker 1: He's Soundgarden The Hurarchy Big Show week days from four
- 22:44Speaker 1: on Radio HODK.
- 22:45Speaker 2: It is rolling Stones on the Huducky Big Show fifteen
- 22:47Speaker 2: minutes past five this Monday afternoon with Keezy Moggie and
- 22:50Speaker 2: Pugs and Hoody j Beck on deck with us tomorrow
- 22:54Speaker 2: Fellers asking for a friend. Yes, how do you get
- 22:57Speaker 2: the smell of cigarette smoke out of your clothes, especially
- 23:01Speaker 2: like a denim jacket or something that you don't really want.
- 23:03Speaker 4: To wash too often? You know? Yeah?
- 23:04Speaker 2: Is there a trick to it?
- 23:06Speaker 4: It depends. I mean it depends on the denim jacket,
- 23:09Speaker 4: because some denim jackets are so cool that people expect
- 23:13Speaker 4: them to smell like cigarettes. Because they're like, geez, this
- 23:16Speaker 4: this jacket is cool. This guy is cool. He smokes dat, right,
- 23:21Speaker 4: because that's cool.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I don't know if it is, cause.
- 23:23Speaker 4: I mean some people disagree with it. Sure, this is
- 23:26Speaker 4: my generation.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Right, Well let's just say, just just for the sake
- 23:30Speaker 2: of the chat. It's a vintage jacket from like the nineties. Yeah,
- 23:35Speaker 2: it's embroidered with the word Tony on the front. Yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 2: it's made for a guy called Tony. Yeah, it works
- 23:42Speaker 2: at a visual audio installation company. So absolute weapons from
- 23:47Speaker 2: years ago. Well this is pretty specific for a hypothetical,
- 23:49Speaker 2: but yeah, sure, whatever you need. Yeah, so what you
- 23:51Speaker 2: do in that situation? Would you just leave it? Oh?
- 23:54Speaker 4: Absolutely? I would leave it. Yeah. I mean you know,
- 23:58Speaker 4: I think the changes need to be not to the jacket,
- 24:00Speaker 4: but to the guy that's wearing the jacket. Right, So
- 24:03Speaker 4: I would be going the denim jacket stays on, and
- 24:06Speaker 4: yes at reeks of cigarettes because Tony smokes dart and
- 24:10Speaker 4: that's why, right, this gets a little bit hot in summer,
- 24:14Speaker 4: Tony takes his denim jacket off. He's wearing a white
- 24:16Speaker 4: T shirt and then the sleevers white T shirt. He's
- 24:19Speaker 4: got a packet of darts. Rolled up well on the
- 24:22Speaker 4: right hand sleeve up to the shoulder. That's where he
- 24:24Speaker 4: keeps his dart right and on the other shoulder, he's
- 24:26Speaker 4: got another pecket of darts rolled up in his sleep
- 24:29Speaker 4: because one peck of darts is not enough for Tony
- 24:32Speaker 4: because he's a mad.
- 24:34Speaker 3: That is classic Tony does.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Tony also walk into like a milk bar and kick
- 24:38Speaker 2: the jukebox as well as motor oil for hair grease.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah see, okay, I like the sound of this.
- 24:45Speaker 4: So the were's like shoes and he hears the socks
- 24:48Speaker 4: go halfway up as as calf muscle and it kind
- 24:51Speaker 4: of ruins the look, right.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Okay, Well that's just to drive by on me and
- 24:55Speaker 2: Pugs as well. We're talking about Tony here, two completely
- 24:58Speaker 2: different guys. Cas to just leave it all right, hype
- 25:01Speaker 2: pathetically speaking, because Pugs, how do you do it?
- 25:02Speaker 3: Man?
- 25:02Speaker 2: Because you punch a lot of darts but you smell nice.
- 25:04Speaker 3: What I was going to say, man, is I'm probably
- 25:07Speaker 3: not qualified to talk on the matter as somebody who's
- 25:08Speaker 3: never smoked a dart in my life.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Right, Oh yeah, except for.
- 25:13Speaker 3: That one time where I was wearing a shirt and
- 25:15Speaker 3: Fiji and there happened to be video foot a job,
- 25:17Speaker 3: that's right, Yeah, but there was a shit.
- 25:20Speaker 4: If Pugs was on the dart, can you imagine how
- 25:24Speaker 4: soon people react to it?
- 25:26Speaker 2: Oh, one hundred percent. That's why I really admire Pugs
- 25:29Speaker 2: for never getting.
- 25:29Speaker 3: On here, and that's why I do it is for
- 25:31Speaker 3: the people around.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Have you heard any rumors from anybody else about how
- 25:34Speaker 4: you might get rid of the smell of smoke?
- 25:36Speaker 3: Ah, just copious amounts of washing, maybe a soak washing it.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Well, I've just there's a text here on three for
- 25:42Speaker 2: three soaking it in vinegar.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Well, that is one of the options. I guess the
- 25:45Speaker 4: problem that Tony's got is Tony never takes that jacket off,
- 25:48Speaker 4: does he? Tony lives in that jack.
- 25:49Speaker 3: You can't get Tony out of that jacket.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I feel like Tony would have more than one jacket
- 25:53Speaker 2: and only wear that one, like maybe once away.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Maybe a pink one, but he kind of stopped wearing
- 25:57Speaker 3: that when he got the Tony one, you know.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, is retire. I had the pink one.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Someone here on three for three also links Africa is
- 26:03Speaker 2: the only way.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Yeah, well, that is one of the things that people
- 26:06Speaker 4: do this for breeze. Have you heard of for breeze?
- 26:09Speaker 3: No?
- 26:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's just one man, one of the sprays that
- 26:12Speaker 4: you can get out there. Okay, yeah, just you're gonna
- 26:15Speaker 4: have to check it outside for a while. Man, all right,
- 26:17Speaker 4: fair enough.
- 26:18Speaker 2: And another hypothetical question, how do you get the smell
- 26:20Speaker 2: of like a thousand beers out of your jacket?
- 26:22Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 26:26Speaker 1: in four on.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Radio Cky pill Jam on The Hicky Big Show twenty
- 26:30Speaker 2: six minutes past five this Monday afternoon.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, fellows, on the way back from Dunedin on
- 26:36Speaker 4: Saturday morning, I had a bit of a masra. I
- 26:39Speaker 4: tried to do something good but I kind of buged
- 26:42Speaker 4: it out. See what you think, right? You think about this?
- 26:45Speaker 4: So where we're boarding the plane, boarding the plane and
- 26:49Speaker 4: walking in front of me is a woman with a
- 26:52Speaker 4: baby strapped to her chest, probably about six months old.
- 26:56Speaker 4: The baby, not the yare very young. She's also got
- 27:01Speaker 4: a backpack, it's like a school backpack and a carry
- 27:06Speaker 4: on suitcase.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Right, So the baby's on the front the bags and
- 27:09Speaker 2: the baby's facing outward forming over styles. I would love
- 27:13Speaker 2: if I was a baby that's the way I'd want
- 27:14Speaker 2: to face.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So that's what said. Now there's boarding
- 27:20Speaker 4: from the front of the plane in the back, and
- 27:22Speaker 4: if you're going to go to the back of the plane,
- 27:23Speaker 4: you have to go out onto the tarmac and climb
- 27:25Speaker 4: up the steps. And it was as hot as a
- 27:27Speaker 4: bastard on that Saturday morning. Now, the woman in front
- 27:30Speaker 4: of me, she gets to the turn off where she's
- 27:31Speaker 4: got to decide whether she goes right down the stairs
- 27:35Speaker 4: or if she goes straight ahead. Now I could see
- 27:38Speaker 4: she was concerned because she is like, I've got this baby,
- 27:42Speaker 4: I've got this bag, and I've got this suitcase. She's saying, oh,
- 27:45Speaker 4: it's a bit of a big job. And I just
- 27:47Speaker 4: I saw the look on her face, and I said,
- 27:51Speaker 4: just go on the air bridge. I mean, just go
- 27:53Speaker 4: on the air bridge. You'll be sweet airs and I'll
- 27:54Speaker 4: just leat you through.
- 27:55Speaker 2: See, I thought you're gonna offer to carry the bag
- 27:57Speaker 2: for it.
- 27:57Speaker 4: That occurred to me a little bit later. That occurred
- 28:00Speaker 4: to me. That occurred to me as I had got
- 28:03Speaker 4: gone down the stairs and was walking across the tarmac.
- 28:06Speaker 4: I was thinking to myself, Oh, I should have just
- 28:08Speaker 4: carried her bags. But I was also thinking, then she
- 28:13Speaker 4: doesn't have to walk down the stairs, go up the
- 28:14Speaker 4: stairs with the baby and the other because the other
- 28:16Speaker 4: thing was there was a huge queue going down the stairs.
- 28:19Speaker 4: You know how that goes down the stairs and it
- 28:21Speaker 4: doesn't seem to move for whatever reason. It's taken ages
- 28:23Speaker 4: to get people onto the plane, right, so the baby
- 28:25Speaker 4: would have been getting smashed by the sun. So I
- 28:28Speaker 4: still I asked myself that question, Keis, and I was like, actually,
- 28:31Speaker 4: now I've done the right thing, right, okay, And then
- 28:33Speaker 4: I'm going up the stairs taking moons to get onto
- 28:36Speaker 4: this goddamn plane. Moons. Then I finally get on, and
- 28:40Speaker 4: I've pretty much this whole time, I've been thinking about
- 28:43Speaker 4: this woman and I'm wondering if she has got anything
- 28:45Speaker 4: to do with the fact that this has taken a
- 28:47Speaker 4: long time to get on the plane, because something I
- 28:49Speaker 4: didn't do was ask her where she was sitting on
- 28:53Speaker 4: the plane. Oh, no, which I could have I should
- 28:55Speaker 4: have made. I didn't think where I was trying to
- 28:58Speaker 4: help where she's like, come on, And when I get
- 28:59Speaker 4: on the plane, there is a huge drild people and
- 29:01Speaker 4: she's standing right in the middle of the plane. Oh
- 29:05Speaker 4: she's got the baby, she's got the backpack, she's got
- 29:08Speaker 4: the suitcase, and she's got a terrible look of concern
- 29:11Speaker 4: on her face, like she is rowing in everybody's life.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Oh no, So then I I just so I stand
- 29:16Speaker 4: the back of the galley, right at the back, and
- 29:19Speaker 4: I don't move up the aisle at all, because what
- 29:22Speaker 4: she's trying to do is get to her seat. But
- 29:24Speaker 4: she can't do because everybody else is getting to their seat.
- 29:27Speaker 4: She's going against the tide. She can't do it. So
- 29:29Speaker 4: you thought you'd hold the tide back like a So
- 29:31Speaker 4: I held it. I held it back, and I said
- 29:33Speaker 4: to the woman, the two women behind me, I said,
- 29:35Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I'm just going to wait here for all
- 29:37Speaker 4: these people to get seated so that this lady with
- 29:38Speaker 4: a baby can come down and sit down. They're like, oh,
- 29:41Speaker 4: you're sweet. Airs. That takes quite a while. The guy
- 29:44Speaker 4: behind them is like this. He starts piping up. Really,
- 29:48Speaker 4: it's like, this is the worst boarding of a plane
- 29:50Speaker 4: I've ever been involved with. And the two women they
- 29:55Speaker 4: start defending, no, it's okay, it's okay, and he goes now,
- 29:58Speaker 4: this is shocking. Need to listen to the instructions before
- 30:02Speaker 4: they bought the place. So now, but now people are
- 30:04Speaker 4: starting to agree with him. Right, So now I've got now,
- 30:08Speaker 4: I'm filmed rout now and of course she can hear.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Oh the woman with the baby she can hear as well.
- 30:14Speaker 4: So I finally all of these people sit down. I'm
- 30:18Speaker 4: not even I think she's in such a state of stress.
- 30:20Speaker 4: I don't even think she recognizes me from earlier.
- 30:22Speaker 2: You're hoping. So she comes down and was like, you're
- 30:25Speaker 2: all good, mate, You're all good.
- 30:26Speaker 4: And she comes down. She is sitting in the very
- 30:29Speaker 4: back row in the window scene. Oh my goodness. So
- 30:37Speaker 4: she has to get everyone to get out of the
- 30:39Speaker 4: row so that she can sit down and then we
- 30:41Speaker 4: can go in. So my gesture couldn't have gone worse.
- 30:45Speaker 4: I should have, just like everybody else, never spoken to
- 30:49Speaker 4: it all. Just let her sort out her own life.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Or you could have taken the backpack, taken the suitcase,
- 30:54Speaker 2: strapped the baby on, you know what I mean. You
- 30:55Speaker 2: could have done all that for her.
- 30:57Speaker 4: I could have.
- 30:58Speaker 2: I've actually got another bone to pick with you about flying.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Oh I'll do that after the ads are looking forward
- 31:01Speaker 2: to it.
- 31:02Speaker 1: The whole archy big show was Jason, Mike and kyzy
- 31:05Speaker 1: tune in four on.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Radio fellas I've got a bone to pit one what Yeah,
- 31:12Speaker 4: I got a bone a bit. Over the course of
- 31:16Speaker 4: the weekend, Pegsan and well actually we got picked up
- 31:20Speaker 4: from the airport, didn't we down down in Dunedin. Yes,
- 31:22Speaker 4: And then we were playing tunes. I jumped on the immediately,
- 31:27Speaker 4: I grabbed the charging cable right there in the car,
- 31:30Speaker 4: that's right, and just plugged it in. The young lady
- 31:33Speaker 4: there was her name Kenny Gabby. Shecdly took it a
- 31:36Speaker 4: sue with that. She said, oh, I'll make yourself at home.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I said, yeah, I like that. That's so absolutely well.
- 31:41Speaker 4: So I plugged it and we started playing tunes and
- 31:43Speaker 4: then you jumped on the gym with me. Through the
- 31:45Speaker 4: old Spotify the pegs An played a couple of absolute shockers.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Everyone was bagging it and completely ruined the vibe. But
- 31:52Speaker 4: that's not the boneum back your words were.
- 31:55Speaker 3: The song sounds like two songs being played at the
- 31:57Speaker 3: same time.
- 31:59Speaker 2: That's what all.
- 31:59Speaker 3: You can't tap along to it a song on the
- 32:03Speaker 3: New Geese album.
- 32:04Speaker 4: And everything everything was sort of off, but that the
- 32:06Speaker 4: singing was off beat. It was very odd anyway, so
- 32:09Speaker 4: off the New Geese album You Are a Goose Man anyway.
- 32:13Speaker 4: So then on some here I got home to Auckland
- 32:16Speaker 4: and I was putting some tunes on on the set there.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Somehow I was still riding on your on your playlist?
- 32:23Speaker 3: Did it stick around?
- 32:24Speaker 4: I've still got it. So it's called it's called and
- 32:27Speaker 4: it's pretty amazing. It's called rotating revolving off your phone
- 32:33Speaker 4: is the name of that. And look it's got it's
- 32:34Speaker 4: got a cover photo. Look at it's it's like he's
- 32:36Speaker 4: got an album. So it's just sort of pegs and
- 32:40Speaker 4: if you can imagine an album cover, it's just sort
- 32:42Speaker 4: of half of pegs. As he's sort of adjusting his hair,
- 32:45Speaker 4: putting his hair bet behind his ear while he's wearing.
- 32:48Speaker 3: It's like I'm listening at the moment.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Now. For me, when I set up a playlist on
- 32:56Speaker 4: my Spotify, one of the things I do is if
- 32:58Speaker 4: I go to a gig, then I will go to
- 33:00Speaker 4: set list dot Com afterwards and I will get the
- 33:03Speaker 4: gig list of set lists from the whole show. I'll
- 33:05Speaker 4: put together a playlist and I will name it after
- 33:08Speaker 4: the concert that I went to, the date that the
- 33:10Speaker 4: concert was, and who I went to the concert with everything.
- 33:14Speaker 4: I've got summer tunes, I've got Sunday chill kind of tunes.
- 33:17Speaker 4: I've got songs that my kid likes, all these sorts
- 33:21Speaker 4: of different things. So you know, there's eats amount of
- 33:24Speaker 4: songs on that this playlist, this playlist at pagsan has
- 33:28Speaker 4: got here. How long would you say this playlist would be?
- 33:31Speaker 2: See, my initial instinct is that he would have maybe
- 33:34Speaker 2: fifteen songs.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Keep in mind, keep in mind, this is what I'm
- 33:37Speaker 3: currently listening to. I'll get in the caronl bang that
- 33:40Speaker 3: on sho each day.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Yeah, two hundred and four hours. It's two hundred and
- 33:46Speaker 4: four hours and thirty seven minutes long.
- 33:49Speaker 3: And so you're currently listening just at the moment.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Yeah, so that's like a ten day playlist.
- 33:56Speaker 3: I think it's about three thousand songs a ten.
- 34:00Speaker 2: It's like my entire iPod at high school.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, it's a lot. And so is that everything
- 34:05Speaker 4: on Spotify? Is that just you just go open Spotify
- 34:10Speaker 4: Edge a shuffle. Yeah.
- 34:11Speaker 2: But the way he listens to him member, he plays
- 34:13Speaker 2: to them at once.
- 34:13Speaker 4: That's right. It's actually five days.
- 34:20Speaker 1: The Daiking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keezy tune
- 34:23Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Hodak does the Hodaky Big Show for Monday evening with
- 34:28Speaker 2: Keezy Moggie and Old pugsn Hoidy. Jay is where he's
- 34:32Speaker 2: currently filming a top secret project. He will be back
- 34:34Speaker 2: on Dick tomorrow. Someone text and asking what's wrong with
- 34:38Speaker 2: Heroin Hoyt. Nothing wrong with him? Wow Wow, same thing
- 34:41Speaker 2: as always. But the reason he's not here is because
- 34:44Speaker 2: he's filming. Because he's filming something. It's a documentary about
- 34:47Speaker 2: how many shocking things are wrong with him. You'll tell
- 34:49Speaker 2: you what there's nothing wrong with There's rebig.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Gear saving good times and good food dining or take
- 34:54Speaker 3: away rebig gear today.
- 35:04Speaker 2: What my hit I was dreaming about reburgering.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 35:09Speaker 3: It was so crave worthy but it was gor mate
- 35:14Speaker 3: and it was straight food.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:19Speaker 4: Just on that Keezy Ye, Jason had been away shooting
- 35:23Speaker 4: a TV show. That was one of your great calls.
- 35:25Speaker 4: That's just reminding me where he said, I was away.
- 35:29Speaker 4: I've got I've got to take some time off. This
- 35:31Speaker 4: might have been a couple of years ago. It was
- 35:32Speaker 4: on a show we're doing from somewhere else. Jay said,
- 35:34Speaker 4: I've got to I've got to I'm going to be
- 35:37Speaker 4: away and you said, well, he said why, said, I'm
- 35:39Speaker 4: shooting a TV show and you said embarrassing bodies. Yeah,
- 35:43Speaker 4: because of his Honker Hamilton and the legs and the Yeah,
- 35:48Speaker 4: that's right.
- 35:48Speaker 2: That was in Hamilton. I remember that. That was before
- 35:49Speaker 2: we went and played darts. That was a good night.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Actually it was. It was a great night.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Isn't it interesting? We've had so many like great things
- 35:56Speaker 2: that we've all gone and done together. You literally just
- 35:58Speaker 2: forget you do yes, whereas when does that come along?
- 36:02Speaker 2: Remember it?
- 36:02Speaker 4: And it was awesome? But we just do.
- 36:04Speaker 2: We're very very lucky. I'll tell you why. We're also
- 36:06Speaker 2: lucky because this tune's playing right now as music.
- 36:12Speaker 1: The Hihiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Tune in on Radio Lucky.
- 36:18Speaker 2: It is t Rex on the Hidhucky Big Show Monday
- 36:21Speaker 2: Evening with Kezy, Mogi and punksan Hoodie Joe back on
- 36:23Speaker 2: deck with us tomorrow. Actually just quickly. Earlier in the show, Mike,
- 36:27Speaker 2: you told a story about a lady with a baby
- 36:29Speaker 2: boarding a plane. You told her she was sitting in
- 36:31Speaker 2: the rear of the plane. It was dual boarding and
- 36:33Speaker 2: you advised her to just go the front way because
- 36:35Speaker 2: you've got a baby, you've got bags, that'll be fine.
- 36:37Speaker 2: It then held up everyone on the plane and caused
- 36:39Speaker 2: a massive kerfuffle. H someone ticks through here. Last month,
- 36:44Speaker 2: my niece was on a flight, same situation with baby bags,
- 36:46Speaker 2: et cetera, and a nice guy offered to carry her
- 36:48Speaker 2: baby on. She accepted. It was Raisor Robertson. Oh so
- 36:52Speaker 2: he offered to carry the baby on Razor right. Interesting move,
- 36:57Speaker 2: isn't it because I kind of see that as a
- 36:59Speaker 2: joke that you put the front peck on. But he
- 37:01Speaker 2: offered to do the baby. And then someone else has
- 37:04Speaker 2: text through saying it's not cooled about the air in
- 37:06Speaker 2: Z manager for saying that things are a shit show.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Oh wait, no, don't worry, your show.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Is shit exactly.
- 37:12Speaker 2: That's good stuff. I've got breaking news, fellas, This.
- 37:19Speaker 4: Is breaking news.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Todunger's oldest wildlife park, Marshall's Animal Farm, is for sale. Now.
- 37:27Speaker 2: This is a park that I spent a lot of
- 37:30Speaker 2: time out as a kid. It was a park up
- 37:32Speaker 2: near McLaren's Falls and Todung and I have vivid memories
- 37:36Speaker 2: of going there and feeding bunny rabbits, palettes and goats
- 37:39Speaker 2: and sheep and stuff like that. And I have a
- 37:42Speaker 2: vivid memory of feeding a pig and accidentally because I
- 37:45Speaker 2: tell you to have a flat hand and put all
- 37:47Speaker 2: the corn in the middle of your hand, it will
- 37:48Speaker 2: eat off it, and I accidentally killed it. Was tickling
- 37:54Speaker 2: me with its tongue, curled my fingers up and a
- 37:57Speaker 2: bit four of my fingers on one hand. But it's
- 38:01Speaker 2: so hard that all four of them went black for
- 38:03Speaker 2: a bit. Really with the Bruiser year, such a great
- 38:07Speaker 2: core memory. Only hecka anyway, it's for sale, twelve million
- 38:10Speaker 2: people for sale. Jeez, for twelve million dollars. There's too much.
- 38:15Speaker 2: It's because because it's not tame and goes around buying
- 38:18Speaker 2: this is the peg that Oh, that's why the value
- 38:21Speaker 2: is so high. Yeah, that's a new story. I wanted
- 38:23Speaker 2: to talk about famous radio host eating pig officially for
- 38:28Speaker 2: sale in New Zealand. So we were eating a pig
- 38:31Speaker 2: because I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind buying the pig
- 38:36Speaker 2: and just showing it whose boss? Now we're talking because
- 38:38Speaker 2: I was thinking, I'm like, buy it death.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Grab one of it's.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Grab one of its hooves and just bite it and
- 38:45Speaker 2: see how it like.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Trotter.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Trotter. Yeah, I want to bite it's trotter.
- 38:49Speaker 4: What do you reckon? Guys? It seems like a good idea.
- 38:51Speaker 4: How much was it again?
- 38:52Speaker 2: Twelve million dollars. It's also on a sixty three point
- 38:55Speaker 2: one hecta farm.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Does that come free with? Yeah?
- 38:59Speaker 2: But to be honest, I don't really want it, so
- 39:02Speaker 2: I am my farm. No, the farm.
- 39:03Speaker 4: I want the peg. Yeah.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm paying the money for the peg. The farm's
- 39:06Speaker 2: like a bonus. So I might either just.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Torture or build like a torch the peg. No, the farm.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Pig skinning is a bite on the trotter.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yes, but I might torch.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Remember you, Bloody will remember me. I'll never forget him,
- 39:24Speaker 2: that's sure.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Bloody Peg is probably you're probably dimand does and he's
- 39:27Speaker 4: probably biting every bastard back then.
- 39:29Speaker 2: No, I think he saw something in me. Oh yeah,
- 39:32Speaker 2: I think yeah. Well so yeah, anyway, that's my breaking news.
- 39:37Speaker 4: That's good man. Cheers.
- 39:40Speaker 2: You guys can to help me sit up and give
- 39:41Speaker 2: a little something.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Honestly, though, that is a yes.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Well, you've got those sorts of places that are around.
- 39:48Speaker 4: I think people are going to be better and hard.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Yeah hard. Did anybody win Loto the other night?
- 39:52Speaker 2: No, it's it's it's Jack potted again again.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Yeah, so fingers cross a little Piggy getting a visit
- 39:59Speaker 4: for fingers because it bit my fingers.
- 40:03Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 40:06Speaker 1: in on.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Radio Stereo Phonics on the hider Ockey Big Show with
- 40:10Speaker 2: Keezymogi and pugsn and Fellers. Have you heard of Kiwi Pong?
- 40:13Speaker 4: I love it?
- 40:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:14Speaker 2: Yeah, It's like it's a game where you throw balls
- 40:17Speaker 2: into little cups filled with liquid. Yeah, kiwis doing it.
- 40:22Speaker 4: You know, I've never ever had a game of of
- 40:25Speaker 4: of Kiwi pong or beer pong.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yeah really in my life, not even one never, never ever.
- 40:31Speaker 4: And I also saying I love but I sort of
- 40:33Speaker 4: that came out after my binge drinking years were done.
- 40:37Speaker 3: What were you playing when you were?
- 40:40Speaker 4: You've got a beer in your hands, and I say
- 40:41Speaker 4: where are you from?
- 40:42Speaker 2: To you?
- 40:43Speaker 4: Then you drink the whole drink and then when you
- 40:45Speaker 4: finish you say Noah, which is short Fort of Fena,
- 40:48Speaker 4: which is where I'm from.
- 40:50Speaker 3: It's quite an elaborate game.
- 40:51Speaker 4: It's really simple.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yeah, rules, what's telling us about the guy that went
- 40:54Speaker 2: to with us?
- 40:55Speaker 4: Ye?
- 40:56Speaker 2: So I sculled my drink at Pace and say I'm
- 40:58Speaker 2: from Yeah.
- 40:59Speaker 4: And that's but the heaps of other drinking games. Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 4: not that one beer pong.
- 41:04Speaker 2: I feel like Cayman hard out in like the late
- 41:07Speaker 2: twenty two thousand and eights. Yeah, is because I was
- 41:09Speaker 2: playing it a lot at the end of high school
- 41:11Speaker 2: and going into the university days. I still suck at it, right,
- 41:15Speaker 2: So I'm so shattered. I don't know why. Having said that,
- 41:18Speaker 2: I am in a team this year, the Kipong World Series.
- 41:21Speaker 2: I think it's me and Manaiah maybe. And there is
- 41:24Speaker 2: a prize pool of over ten thousand dollars. In fact,
- 41:28Speaker 2: the grand prize is ten thousand and six dollars.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Yes. Is that because it's a six year it's been
- 41:32Speaker 4: running or something like there, or it's something weird like that. Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Basically they had this line of you could win over
- 41:38Speaker 2: ten grand just by putting one dollar after ten Yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 2: and every year they bump it up by a dollar.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that's smart.
- 41:43Speaker 2: It is smart. So the competition is Saturday, November twenty
- 41:46Speaker 2: ninth as Sweatshot Brew Kitchen up in Auckland. If you
- 41:50Speaker 2: are keen to join the Kiwipong World Series, you just
- 41:53Speaker 2: need a mate. You need to think of a team
- 41:54Speaker 2: name and then enter to win one of the final
- 41:56Speaker 2: two team spots at Hodaki dot co dot m Z.
- 42:00Speaker 2: It's all brought to you by so Beer S O
- 42:02Speaker 2: B E A R.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Just it.
- 42:04Speaker 2: It didn't realize this hungover gummies Yeah, oh yeah, you've
- 42:08Speaker 2: used them.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Before, Pugs No, but I'm familiar with There is quite
- 42:11Speaker 3: a cool sort of wave of products that sort of
- 42:14Speaker 3: fix you out.
- 42:15Speaker 2: They fix you up. So apparently you take Sobia gummies
- 42:17Speaker 2: after a night up, your night out, you wake up fresh,
- 42:20Speaker 2: your wake up with so Beer with a try. We've
- 42:23Speaker 2: got some free products in the office here. I'm going
- 42:25Speaker 2: to give it a test. Probably after the old Kiwi
- 42:28Speaker 2: Pong World Series. What do we go into there? Pugsn Ah,
- 42:33Speaker 2: faith no more?
- 42:34Speaker 3: Three are right this?
- 42:36Speaker 4: Faith no more? Yeah?
- 42:38Speaker 1: I mean The Hiuriarchy Big Show week days from four
- 42:42Speaker 1: on Radio Hurdarchy Cars.
- 42:43Speaker 2: On the Hurdarchy Big Show Monday evening with Keezy Moggi
- 42:46Speaker 2: and Pugs Son. Let's give out some advice Gmail dot
- 42:55Speaker 2: com Get in touch with the Fellers. Nice pugs Hey,
- 43:00Speaker 2: it's a real email address. Do get in touch meet
- 43:02Speaker 2: Patti Nips sixty nine at gmail dot com. If you
- 43:04Speaker 2: need advice, we will answer it on the show and
- 43:06Speaker 2: you will get a fifty dollars Reburg about you. Unless,
- 43:08Speaker 2: unless you've already won one off us, we're onto you,
- 43:13Speaker 2: hungry little pugs Hello. You can read the advice question today.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Well, this one's from anonymous guys. It's his good a
- 43:20Speaker 3: Year martials. Earlier this year, Mogi explained how he got
- 43:24Speaker 3: over being p Shi by imagining peeing on someone. Ah,
- 43:28Speaker 3: while I'm not particularly p Shi, when there has been
- 43:31Speaker 3: the occasion that I have been pie, I've started using
- 43:34Speaker 3: this technique right. Unfortunately, however, that image of someone has
- 43:38Speaker 3: been curated to be Moggi himself, as he's the one
- 43:40Speaker 3: that shared the wisdom. It's definitely not a fantasy thing,
- 43:44Speaker 3: but it's definitely disturbing me. What kind of help should
- 43:47Speaker 3: I give?
- 43:48Speaker 4: I just want I want to know if it's working.
- 43:51Speaker 3: I think it is working that when I have been
- 43:53Speaker 3: p Shi repeatedly, I've used this technique more than once,
- 43:57Speaker 3: it's become you.
- 43:58Speaker 2: How flattering is that flattering? Because you've helped them with
- 44:01Speaker 2: an issue, yes, and who cares? Man. The issue they're
- 44:03Speaker 2: going to have is whenever they see you, they might
- 44:06Speaker 2: piss their pants.
- 44:06Speaker 4: I'm wondering what they think though, Like how am I
- 44:11Speaker 4: reacting while it's happening? What the situation are they imagining
- 44:16Speaker 4: that we're reading that they are urinating on me?
- 44:19Speaker 1: Like?
- 44:19Speaker 4: Am I loving it?
- 44:20Speaker 2: I think a urine all the wall right, that disappears
- 44:23Speaker 2: and it's down with your mouth. We'll not your mouth,
- 44:26Speaker 2: about your big grin and you're pulling thubs.
- 44:29Speaker 3: I imagine it. It's a look of pride. Okay, you're
- 44:31Speaker 3: stoked for them that I.
- 44:33Speaker 4: Haven't tried doing it that way, and just I do
- 44:35Speaker 4: my imagining in my mind. You know, I don't picture
- 44:38Speaker 4: something in front of my downstairs while I'm doing it.
- 44:41Speaker 4: So that's a good way of doing it.
- 44:42Speaker 2: It's different for different people, like, for example, we could
- 44:46Speaker 2: maybe do it like a Hoducky thing where we sell
- 44:49Speaker 2: special stickers of your face that people put on their
- 44:51Speaker 2: toilets or urinals that are my head or urinals that
- 44:54Speaker 2: are just your hair, toilet seats with Mogi's face based
- 44:59Speaker 2: on it.
- 45:00Speaker 3: They do those little stickers of flies sometimes in the
- 45:02Speaker 3: urinal that could be that could be me.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Jeez, I've never seen that.
- 45:06Speaker 3: They put flies in the air like they do a
- 45:07Speaker 3: little thing of week. It's like a little sticker banging
- 45:10Speaker 3: in the urinal there aim.
- 45:13Speaker 4: For it so it doesn't splash everywhere, you know what
- 45:14Speaker 4: I mean? Well, aren't they remember? So what's the question
- 45:20Speaker 4: he's got it? Does he need help?
- 45:23Speaker 3: And what kind of helps should he get?
- 45:24Speaker 4: Everybody else's not doing that? Who's not picturing me while
- 45:27Speaker 4: the urinating they need help? This guy's got a cat.
- 45:30Speaker 4: I should be giving advice.
- 45:31Speaker 3: If anybody else's shy. Yeah, when they're in public, please
- 45:35Speaker 3: think of old.
- 45:36Speaker 2: And also, I mean he's already received the help. The
- 45:39Speaker 2: help is there imagining Moggi while going wheeze. It's worked
- 45:43Speaker 2: for him. Job done And yeah yah, and you're flattered
- 45:47Speaker 2: by it, right I love it?
- 45:48Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 45:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Well I don't know if you should love it? No,
- 45:50Speaker 2: I do.
