- 0:00Speaker 1: Boutlet Cash Show special guests in here going crazy with
- 0:03Speaker 1: this new single Yes Sir, featuring Jeremies called Freaking Yeah.
- 0:07Speaker 1: The album comes out September thirtieth. Yeah, we got Joe Moses. Yeah,
- 0:11Speaker 1: one of these LA pillars in here. Man, Come on, man,
- 0:14Speaker 1: you know you know what inspired the album to that?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Nigga Jizz who yg oh he did. We had a
- 0:20Speaker 1: show the other night in Orange County. You guys, it's
- 0:23Speaker 1: the album coming out the same day as you guys.
- 0:25Speaker 1: That's a good day for LA hip hop. Man. It
- 0:27Speaker 1: was like we ran into each other after show and
- 0:31Speaker 1: we was backstage just chopping it up. You know what
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm saying. We just was chopping it up just about
- 0:36Speaker 1: what we need to be doing far as me and him,
- 0:38Speaker 1: like nobody else doing it Me and you need to
- 0:40Speaker 1: be doing this Like I'm dropping on thirty. I said, fun,
- 0:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna drop on thirty or two. He said, Bro,
- 0:44Speaker 1: we got to like you know what I'm saying, Yeah,
- 0:47Speaker 1: I mean you yg tie. We were just talking a
- 0:51Speaker 1: bit like you guys really are like an era of
- 0:54Speaker 1: this LA shit, Like you guys really kept l a alive.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Fact the goats very long time. I think I think
- 1:01Speaker 1: it's it's at an era where it's like and let
- 1:03Speaker 1: me take that back, HyG and Tied they accomplished more
- 1:08Speaker 1: than me, So I'm not gonna even put that goat
- 1:10Speaker 1: thing on myself. I'm real, like honest and real HyG,
- 1:14Speaker 1: Mustard and Tie I have accomplished a lot more than
- 1:16Speaker 1: Joe Moses. So I'm not the goat. You know what
- 1:18Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm I'm just a staple. I'm a factor.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You're a pillar. I'm a pillar, a definitely. So that's
- 1:25Speaker 1: I'm so hard on myself, bro, Like you know what
- 1:27Speaker 1: I mean, for all the good reasons though. You know
- 1:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Ice Cuba is the goat, Doctor Dre
- 1:33Speaker 1: is the goat. Snoop Dogg is to go two short forty.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Them are goats, DJ Quick, those are goats. We just
- 1:41Speaker 1: and I could say, Tie and and Yg and Mustard
- 1:44Speaker 1: have accomplished way more than Joe Moses, so I can
- 1:46Speaker 1: I can call them the goats too. I'm not afraid
- 1:48Speaker 1: to get my friends they props. Of course, I'm the
- 1:51Speaker 1: next one to have that ghat status. I was gonna tell, like, like,
- 1:54Speaker 1: what has been going on the last couple of years
- 1:56Speaker 1: because I totally didn't, was it it's been two or
- 2:00Speaker 1: three years that you've dropped facts. You've been doing so much.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You've been building up the youth football program. Yeah, you've
- 2:07Speaker 1: been launching businesses. Yeah, you have a restaurant. Yeah, you
- 2:10Speaker 1: got the shoe company. Yeah. But you've I mean clearly
- 2:14Speaker 1: you've also been recording a lot. But yeah, I feel
- 2:17Speaker 1: like you've just been kind of a little bit more
- 2:19Speaker 1: focused on building a bunch of other shit outside of rap.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Is that safe to say? Yeah, it's safe to say
- 2:25Speaker 1: that I want to have something to fall back on,
- 2:29Speaker 1: which is smart and I need. I started. I've wasted
- 2:35Speaker 1: a lot of money, so you know, the forties and
- 2:38Speaker 1: the thirties and one hundred thousands that you get two
- 2:40Speaker 1: hundred thousand. I start thinking real smart and thinking positive
- 2:44Speaker 1: with this money. Instead of me blowing in in the
- 2:46Speaker 1: club every night and not accomplishing nothing but a beer belly,
- 2:51Speaker 1: Let me start investing my money. Yeah. Yeah. So, like,
- 2:55Speaker 1: first of all, the shoes crazy, This is a very
- 2:58Speaker 1: like I can't even at my head around what it
- 3:01Speaker 1: would take to create a shoe. Yeah, how hard is that? Like,
- 3:04Speaker 1: do you have to go find like manufacturers like coming
- 3:08Speaker 1: from Asia, Like, actually they are. So. My boy was
- 3:13Speaker 1: a close friend to me. He used to work at LRG.
- 3:15Speaker 1: He called me and said his family ain't gonna say
- 3:17Speaker 1: his name because they try to taking plug. So he
- 3:19Speaker 1: called me. It was like, my family, dude, shoes, they'll
- 3:22Speaker 1: be out here. Do you want to do a shoot?
- 3:24Speaker 1: You always used to talk about you want to do
- 3:25Speaker 1: a shoe? You have a design. I had this design
- 3:28Speaker 1: five years ago, and I'm like, we sat down, we
- 3:32Speaker 1: had a meeting, and we put the whole play together
- 3:35Speaker 1: and I sent him my first idea. My first idea
- 3:38Speaker 1: basically was like I want to do a fashionable I
- 3:45Speaker 1: want to do a fashionable shoe a chuck, but something
- 3:48Speaker 1: to my culture, like a door like a chuck, you
- 3:51Speaker 1: know what I mean. I want to put them both together.
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's why you got the big the big top. That's
- 3:55Speaker 1: why you don't have the black thing here. That's why
- 3:58Speaker 1: you got the ug kind of feeling the inside. It's
- 4:01Speaker 1: so comfortable on the inside, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So I them there spent like seventy five eighty thousand
- 4:07Speaker 1: just on my samples. Damn, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Just getting everything together it's a hard business to get into.
- 4:13Speaker 1: We always hear people do a clothing line. The shoe
- 4:15Speaker 1: line is like, it's such a fucking hard thing to
- 4:17Speaker 1: break into because there's just the big dogs, the detail.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So you'll think Joe Moses put out a shoot like
- 4:23Speaker 1: we were like, but you see the details and this
- 4:25Speaker 1: shit like it's detailed. So where do you sell these at?
- 4:28Speaker 1: On my own? I got a store. Okay, so we
- 4:31Speaker 1: got a store in Bellflower. We sell them on the internet,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and we sell them on our website. We sell them
- 4:37Speaker 1: in the store at my shows and my concerts. Are
- 4:39Speaker 1: you trying to get them into like cheek or I
- 4:42Speaker 1: would love to get them in chic I would love
- 4:44Speaker 1: to get them in Bloomy's. I would love the Zoomies, Bloomingdale's.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I would love to get them in the big spots.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I haven't reached that or I don't know anybody that
- 4:54Speaker 1: reached out to me yet. Well, I sell these shoes
- 4:56Speaker 1: for two hundred dollars. Shit, that's a win, you know
- 5:00Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Oh yeah, backpacks everything growing up And
- 5:07Speaker 1: not only do I do shoes though, so I'm big
- 5:09Speaker 1: in a football community also, so I sell cliques, black backflaps, mouthpieces, gloves,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you know, and that's when I'm trying to get my
- 5:16Speaker 1: partner's own, Like, bro, Well, because you are for people
- 5:19Speaker 1: who don't know, you're not just big in the football.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I mean, you're kind of one of those guys. I'm
- 5:22Speaker 1: going to the youth football in LA. It's the new generation.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It's a couple of guys and you're coaching, You're you
- 5:29Speaker 1: have teams under you, You're helping develop these kids. Like,
- 5:32Speaker 1: first of all, how did that even like get started?
- 5:34Speaker 1: Because I mean we always hear Snoop. You know, it's
- 5:37Speaker 1: kind of the guy who like we look too in
- 5:38Speaker 1: that world, but like you've been on it for so
- 5:41Speaker 1: Snoop is the kind of guy that looked up to
- 5:43Speaker 1: like my dad. You know, my dad coached football and
- 5:47Speaker 1: bass and people from just different places. We all looked
- 5:50Speaker 1: up to Snook somebody. And then you gotta think, like
- 5:53Speaker 1: Snoop was around when I was a kid, coaching you football.
- 5:55Speaker 1: His kids was around Rowland Heights Raiders, so we would
- 5:58Speaker 1: see that and I never thought I was to be
- 6:01Speaker 1: a rapper back then. You know what I'm saying. I
- 6:03Speaker 1: was a football player. I played football, played basketball, baseball,
- 6:07Speaker 1: so I was just an athlete my pops. I've seen
- 6:09Speaker 1: the way my pops ventured off to this, and it
- 6:13Speaker 1: kept him out the way, it kept him. My pops
- 6:16Speaker 1: had a free mind when football season came, you know
- 6:18Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So this kept my pops alive and
- 6:21Speaker 1: nice to be like, damn, really want to coach football
- 6:24Speaker 1: these kids? What you see in this? And it's really fun,
- 6:27Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And that was my feeling too.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That's it's fun, man, it's fulfilling. And I'm like giving
- 6:32Speaker 1: back in my own way. And you know, these kids
- 6:34Speaker 1: don't know me as Joe Moses. They knew me at
- 6:36Speaker 1: coach Joe, you know what I'm saying. And I started
- 6:38Speaker 1: my own chapter. I just went off on the limb
- 6:40Speaker 1: first and foremost. I put in work with the chapter
- 6:42Speaker 1: I grew up playing with. You know, I'm definitely big
- 6:45Speaker 1: on Loyalt. So I went back to the same chapter
- 6:47Speaker 1: I grew up playing with, Wow, and it was my
- 6:49Speaker 1: family still was running the chapter, and I stayed there
- 6:54Speaker 1: for like five or six years, and we didn't have
- 6:56Speaker 1: our different differences. It's just I wanted something different and
- 6:59Speaker 1: they was a little bit older and they didn't see
- 7:01Speaker 1: my vision, and then I started my own chapter. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: didn't hate, I didn't do anything. I just, you know,
- 7:05Speaker 1: got they blessings. You know what I wanted. You know,
- 7:07Speaker 1: we going different ways and how the vision supposed to look.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I didn't put in work these last five years. Let
- 7:12Speaker 1: me just go on my own way, and I'm gonna
- 7:13Speaker 1: start a chapter. But I'm gonna still be in the
- 7:15Speaker 1: same league. Can I get y'all blessings they gave me
- 7:18Speaker 1: the blessings I went on, started the La Chiefs, and
- 7:20Speaker 1: the rest is history. I put into work. The first
- 7:23Speaker 1: two years, we took ass whoopings and people laughed at us.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I came in the room, They Joe, what you want
- 7:28Speaker 1: to do? I bet one hundred push ups. We whooped
- 7:32Speaker 1: y'all ass whoo. I'm like, damn like that, okay. I
- 7:35Speaker 1: took my ass whoopings. The first first year, I took
- 7:39Speaker 1: my ass whoopings and snoop. The next year was pandemic. Pandemic.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I still played football at the pandemic. We whooped everybody out.
- 7:48Speaker 1: We went, we traveled, we played travel ball. We went Vegas,
- 7:53Speaker 1: we went to Arizona, we went to San Francisco, we
- 7:57Speaker 1: went to the Bay Area, Sacramento, We went to TIS.
- 8:00Speaker 1: We played like real football, you know what I'm saying.
- 8:03Speaker 1: So I got that experience. We end up being a
- 8:05Speaker 1: ranked team. And then the next year Snoop opened back
- 8:10Speaker 1: up because Snoop wasn't open up in pandemic. They opened
- 8:13Speaker 1: back up and the rest is history. Beat Snoop. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 1: you know what's up. You know what's up. And we played.
- 8:21Speaker 1: We played on the seventeen that that Super Bowl game.
- 8:24Speaker 1: We play the first game of the season in Snoop
- 8:27Speaker 1: against Snoop team. Because Snoop's not like you're a little
- 8:30Speaker 1: bit more hands on at this point than Snoop, is right,
- 8:32Speaker 1: because Soop's got so much shit going on. Yeah yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: you were like, Yo, I'd love to come to the club,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but I have a game this time, this time, this time.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So are you coaching? Because for people who don't know, so,
- 8:41Speaker 1: if you have a chapter, is it like within that
- 8:43Speaker 1: chapter there's a team for each age group. Yeah, so
- 8:46Speaker 1: we got so my chapter got seven teams, we got
- 8:49Speaker 1: six U, we got eight U, we got two AU teams,
- 8:52Speaker 1: we got a nine U, we got to tend U,
- 8:54Speaker 1: we got eleven U and the twelve U and oh
- 8:57Speaker 1: those I think out of all those teams, I coach
- 9:01Speaker 1: on four teams. Damn, I coach nine you TEAMU, eleven
- 9:04Speaker 1: you and twelve you. And so you're busy, and I
- 9:07Speaker 1: I mean, I'm a president. One of my best friends
- 9:11Speaker 1: is to coach on six you and eight you. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: he went down from coaching on my team to coach
- 9:16Speaker 1: and he was successful. Last year. We won three champions
- 9:18Speaker 1: three championships last year. Your chapter, Yeah, we went we
- 9:21Speaker 1: went to We won two nationals last year. And we've
- 9:24Speaker 1: we've just like we got national ranked teams, Like we've
- 9:28Speaker 1: beaten national rank number one in the nation team. So
- 9:32Speaker 1: I got about four teams in my chapter that's ranked nationally.
- 9:35Speaker 1: That's crazy, you know what I'm saying, like number one
- 9:37Speaker 1: in the nation, number number three in the nation, number
- 9:40Speaker 1: four in California. Number you know what I'm saying. Shit
- 9:43Speaker 1: like that. So we've been building. Man, Shout out to
- 9:46Speaker 1: my whole chapter. Shout out to my parents, my coaches,
- 9:48Speaker 1: my staff, and my kids. They love I'm talking about.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I got chief kids, chief babies. They don't want to
- 9:54Speaker 1: be nothing else because and it's new, Dan, Aaron is
- 9:56Speaker 1: new YOUU football. Everybody wanted to combine and join forces,
- 9:59Speaker 1: kind of like rep game. When you hot, they messing
- 10:02Speaker 1: with you. When you cold, they're not. So you got parents,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's like, well, y'all and win. I'm taking my baby
- 10:07Speaker 1: somewhere else. You're not teaching the kids nothing. I'll teach
- 10:09Speaker 1: them how to push through adversity. And I got parents
- 10:12Speaker 1: that's been with me since we was taking them ass whippings.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And then we just added more kids. We're not a
- 10:17Speaker 1: chapter either that accept all the great kids. I might
- 10:20Speaker 1: accept all alignments, but skills I don't want. I want
- 10:23Speaker 1: to develop the kids that I got. And you got
- 10:25Speaker 1: a lot of you got a lot of hate in
- 10:27Speaker 1: the football society. Win gonna go. I can't imagine, especially
- 10:31Speaker 1: on me. I can imagine. There ain't nothing like parents
- 10:36Speaker 1: whose kids play sports. They I ain't gonna even lie
- 10:39Speaker 1: to you, Bro. The things that I see and the
- 10:42Speaker 1: things that I'm subjective to see, I'll be sitting there
- 10:45Speaker 1: like and I'm I'm so indebted in it because I
- 10:48Speaker 1: love it, like it's a passion for me. It's more
- 10:50Speaker 1: of a piece. It's more leaving the streets when I
- 10:52Speaker 1: get to practice, like, oh, I love seeing my babies,
- 10:55Speaker 1: like I love seeing my kids. These are my kids.
- 10:58Speaker 1: But you got so much hate that they put on
- 11:00Speaker 1: Yo Moses, and it's just like we've made so much
- 11:03Speaker 1: of an impact these last couple of years. They gonna
- 11:06Speaker 1: hate And a lot of people are they not They're
- 11:09Speaker 1: not ready for that. A lot of people in my
- 11:10Speaker 1: chapter be like, man, it's gonna be like, bro, that's
- 11:12Speaker 1: just we successful. We got the best chapter in Californian period.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Anybody will tell you anybody in youth football, they'll be
- 11:18Speaker 1: like the Chiefs, hands down, family orientated, the way they move,
- 11:23Speaker 1: the way their parents are. Like, we got the best
- 11:25Speaker 1: chapter in chief formall. What is the wildest shit you've
- 11:28Speaker 1: seen from a parent at a game? At a parent
- 11:34Speaker 1: at a game, because we always see like viral videos
- 11:36Speaker 1: of like parents fighting or some there's a lot of
- 11:38Speaker 1: crazy shit going on. Yeah, probably fighting, you know what
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm saying. Fighting I've seen. I've seen teams lose and
- 11:44Speaker 1: parents fight each other. I've seen I've seen a lot
- 11:47Speaker 1: in youth football. Like I won't go really into it
- 11:49Speaker 1: because I don't want to put a bad stigma on
- 11:51Speaker 1: you you football, Especially in the chapter that we in
- 11:54Speaker 1: s y fail, it's more of a family orientated, Like
- 11:57Speaker 1: you take a loss, we'll be in the parking lot,
- 11:59Speaker 1: still popping. And you know, but outside of that, outside
- 12:02Speaker 1: of s y Fl, no disrespect to nobody else. I'm
- 12:05Speaker 1: just not as passionate for outside of s y I Fel.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Like I love s yi Fel, I'm all for s YFL.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Snoop you with Snoop Fezz has done for me, I
- 12:15Speaker 1: would never, you know what I'm saying, never leave his side.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I would never try to start my own like he's
- 12:20Speaker 1: done a lot for me and always giving me the
- 12:22Speaker 1: game and wisdom and always, you know, everybody else, Like
- 12:25Speaker 1: I got love for everybody else outside of Snoop, but
- 12:27Speaker 1: the family orientated outside of Snoop, it's like chaos. Oh
- 12:31Speaker 1: really yeah yeah, outside of Snoop. You know, I'm just
- 12:36Speaker 1: being honest with you. It's like it's like chaotic, like
- 12:39Speaker 1: everybody's like every man for themselves and that's not like
- 12:42Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I'm for the kids, you
- 12:43Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, And I'm passionate about it. Like
- 12:46Speaker 1: if you your son was on my team and you
- 12:47Speaker 1: leave my team, I might not talk to you for
- 12:49Speaker 1: six months. Jesus. I'm just passionate about my kids, and
- 12:53Speaker 1: I built my kids. It's a difference when you build
- 12:55Speaker 1: your kids right like I built. I built, like you
- 12:58Speaker 1: get you football news, like you build a kid. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: as you building a kid, it's like they get the
- 13:04Speaker 1: success and then another coach might see him now but
- 13:07Speaker 1: they're on a better team and come on over here,
- 13:09Speaker 1: come on over here, because we're losing over here. It's
- 13:12Speaker 1: like I built this kid. Nobody believed in this kid
- 13:15Speaker 1: like I built this kid. Now all of a sudden,
- 13:17Speaker 1: you want to take the kids away from me, you
- 13:19Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So it's kind of bad. It's
- 13:21Speaker 1: kind of bad, but it's a great thing. I can imagine.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'll be stressed out. We're talking about obviously, you know
- 13:27Speaker 1: the era of mustard time. Yeah, yeah, yg, Who do
- 13:31Speaker 1: you look to as like the current day version of
- 13:35Speaker 1: that in la of us? Or is there is that
- 13:40Speaker 1: even exists. I can't even I can't even put no
- 13:43Speaker 1: I can't even put no title on nobody yet. But
- 13:47Speaker 1: I love what everybody is doing. Yeah. Obviously there's been
- 13:50Speaker 1: artists who have had like crazy individual success, like a
- 13:52Speaker 1: Roddy rich so Blast, But I just mean in terms
- 13:54Speaker 1: of I don't know if there's like a there's no movement, no,
- 13:58Speaker 1: so so lit the bottom let me speak on that.
- 14:01Speaker 1: So why I say that because before YG was cracking,
- 14:05Speaker 1: he had pushing ink right. You know what I'm saying.
- 14:08Speaker 1: For Joe Mo's was cracking, I had aob You know
- 14:11Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It was it was those two units
- 14:13Speaker 1: and everybody else in between. You at a two y,
- 14:15Speaker 1: you had laimy crack ready with av that got the
- 14:18Speaker 1: money danced on. It was us we built. We used
- 14:22Speaker 1: to be in parties together, going crazy. In the parties.
- 14:25Speaker 1: It was a movement. They had their crew, We had
- 14:28Speaker 1: our crew. They had their crew, and we went to
- 14:30Speaker 1: part like we didn't care about Hollywood. We was in
- 14:33Speaker 1: the in the in the trenches and the hot ass
- 14:35Speaker 1: function going crazy, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 14:39Speaker 1: haven't seen nobody do that like these people are getting
- 14:41Speaker 1: success off of what we built. Think about it. Everybody
- 14:45Speaker 1: learned from our mistakes. So they jump a lot of
- 14:48Speaker 1: people jumped the line that I don't mean they ain't worked.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'm not saying that because Blast I definitely knew Blast.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Back in the day. Blast was with T I U.
- 14:56Speaker 1: He was with a crew you know, someone know what
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm saying, and but everybody else like like, learn, okay,
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't want to do that boom boom boom and
- 15:04Speaker 1: got on like that. We really was like in the trenches,
- 15:06Speaker 1: like sweating and hot ass hot parties and really going crazy.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I also to feel like you guys early on made
- 15:14Speaker 1: like a concerted effort to like make like function music.
- 15:18Speaker 1: That's that's what it was. Because we was in the functions.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It was like, yo, you guys made records that like,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I mean, damn, I mean, do it for the ratgets
- 15:25Speaker 1: this all time? Fucking they don't. They don't even they
- 15:28Speaker 1: don't even treat Joe Moses like I'm gonna go you know,
- 15:30Speaker 1: I mean I got you said you were to go. Okay.
- 15:33Speaker 1: They don't even treat me like like you ain't Joe Moses. Man,
- 15:36Speaker 1: you would get a promoter and be like, hey, Joe,
- 15:37Speaker 1: can we get you for fifteen hundred? I'd be like, Bro,
- 15:40Speaker 1: did you just see this DJ post all these hits
- 15:42Speaker 1: of my son? Saw that? Yeah, shout out to him too,
- 15:45Speaker 1: that DJ. He's I forget his Charlie. So he been
- 15:48Speaker 1: posting all the la shit, the greatest hit. But I
- 15:51Speaker 1: got mad at him too, and I'm not mad at
- 15:54Speaker 1: him literally, like like I say, I'm not to go
- 15:56Speaker 1: everybody don't deserve the greatest hits because you're not there yet.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Everybody don't deserve that. Like, yeah, he's getting everyone again.
- 16:03Speaker 1: You got it. You gotta stop putting. The problem is
- 16:06Speaker 1: now we put everybody in the same situations, in the
- 16:08Speaker 1: same categories. You know what I'm saying. Everybody don't deserve that.
- 16:12Speaker 1: That look yet. You know what I'm saying, some people
- 16:15Speaker 1: you gotta save for. I've been in at eleven ten
- 16:18Speaker 1: eleven years. Some people you gotta save for they tenth year.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Where are you gonna be at your tenth year? I
- 16:23Speaker 1: can still say I'm still right here with booth leg
- 16:25Speaker 1: cav putting out music, putting out successful music. I'm still consistent.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Everybody don't deserve that. I never told him this, but
- 16:32Speaker 1: I was sitting there, like, Bro, everybody don't deserve the
- 16:38Speaker 1: greatest hits. TikTok. Everybody don't deserve the greatest hits. I mean,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it's like a TikTok. It's a cool TikTok. I get
- 16:43Speaker 1: you're trying to help out LA. You know it's not bad.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm I ain't mad at it. I'm not mad at it,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but I just I just don't like when people put
- 16:52Speaker 1: other people in the same categories, like you know who
- 16:54Speaker 1: I'm I like right now it is like obviously the
- 16:56Speaker 1: Blue Bucks guys because they're making dope club records and
- 17:00Speaker 1: I feel like they're very like if they just sound
- 17:04Speaker 1: to me like really unique. They got a unique flow,
- 17:06Speaker 1: they got a unique way that they're doing shit. Oh
- 17:08Speaker 1: my guys, Drake just co signed them, which was dope.
- 17:11Speaker 1: They don't listen, we love Drake, but they was co
- 17:14Speaker 1: signed before Drake for sure. Jo Moses co signed them
- 17:17Speaker 1: for sure. That's l A. I'm just somebody who is
- 17:22Speaker 1: a la pillar. How much did it help when you
- 17:25Speaker 1: had guys like a Future coming and co sign Like
- 17:27Speaker 1: what you were doing officially just made it better for
- 17:30Speaker 1: the women and women it was like whole future for
- 17:31Speaker 1: messing with Joe. It just makes the eye look better.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And that's sad though I was I was a somebody
- 17:38Speaker 1: before Future came and said anything, but Future put more
- 17:41Speaker 1: light on Joe Moses. You know what I'm saying. But
- 17:44Speaker 1: it's sad in your own area, where like promoters didn't
- 17:48Speaker 1: open up to me. Until future came and start coming
- 17:50Speaker 1: to my clubs with me, or I start, I start,
- 17:53Speaker 1: Thug start pulling up with me, him and gun and
- 17:56Speaker 1: start jumping out the clubs. So they like, hey Joe,
- 17:58Speaker 1: we want to book Jos for this part this party too,
- 18:01Speaker 1: because Gunner might show up, Thug might show g Herbal
- 18:04Speaker 1: might show up, Tie Dollar Sign might show up. Like, Bro,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I've been bringing out the whole city for years and
- 18:09Speaker 1: years at a time. It's only facts, like you know
- 18:11Speaker 1: what I mean, Like I speak facts. What do you
- 18:13Speaker 1: feel like right now? Because like since the pandemic came
- 18:16Speaker 1: and went, a bunch of clubs closed, then I feel
- 18:19Speaker 1: like the night life scene is kind of interesting in
- 18:22Speaker 1: La right now. How do you feel about it? I mean,
- 18:24Speaker 1: you know, adv is my brother. I talked Tod the
- 18:26Speaker 1: other day and I was I was so frustrated with him.
- 18:29Speaker 1: He like what And that's my brother. When I say this,
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm passionate enough to say it, because like, I love
- 18:34Speaker 1: these guys like Ad. He probably wanted the only people
- 18:38Speaker 1: I come in the club. He's like, Bro, don't spend
- 18:40Speaker 1: no money tonight. I got you, you know so what
- 18:42Speaker 1: I'm saying, So we need people like that but I
- 18:43Speaker 1: was frustrated with him the other day and I text him.
- 18:46Speaker 1: He like, LA functioned you coming? And I'm like, I
- 18:48Speaker 1: don't see myself on no flyer. He's like, brother, I've
- 18:51Speaker 1: been waiting on you to come. I try to set
- 18:53Speaker 1: up with your manager. I'm like, Bro, you have LA
- 18:55Speaker 1: function without the LA guys right, Like how you have
- 19:00Speaker 1: an LA function with out LA. I think was this
- 19:06Speaker 1: the one that was just a bunch of DJs. I
- 19:09Speaker 1: don't know what it was, but because they know, they
- 19:11Speaker 1: did an LA function and it was like, I am LA.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Tons of DJs. I didn't see any artists on it.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm tripping right, I am. When I say this, I'm
- 19:20Speaker 1: respected because I speak truth and I speak reality. I
- 19:23Speaker 1: don't come on no microphone and Bootleg Caves show to
- 19:26Speaker 1: speak down on anybody else. I just speak the truth.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I am LA. It's only facts. It's only a couple
- 19:32Speaker 1: of people that really represent LA. Like, Bro, it's no
- 19:37Speaker 1: way in hell while you're doing an LA function that
- 19:39Speaker 1: I'm not on the LA function. Are the guys that
- 19:42Speaker 1: do represent LA the right way? It's on the LA function.
- 19:44Speaker 1: There's no way in hell that could that be because
- 19:47Speaker 1: maybe they don't know because look at the end of
- 19:50Speaker 1: the day, like I said, you've been building up so
- 19:51Speaker 1: much other shit. Nah, that's cap freak. It's been out
- 19:54Speaker 1: for two months, month and a half now. I came
- 19:56Speaker 1: to the LA Function and spend some dough. I just
- 19:59Speaker 1: mean in terms of like maybe you're not putt like
- 20:02Speaker 1: like it would make sense if you put out some
- 20:04Speaker 1: music at the same time, or if you had music
- 20:07Speaker 1: out like I just I just I've been like just
- 20:11Speaker 1: a nobody put music out that was that they was booking.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I thought it was no they have they have Blue Bucks.
- 20:17Speaker 1: They have Blue Bucks the first day I'm thinking of
- 20:18Speaker 1: that of the day he's thinking about there was like
- 20:21Speaker 1: the big LA Function festival and it was just all DJs.
- 20:24Speaker 1: They had Blue Bucks the first day. Blue Bucks is
- 20:27Speaker 1: from LA. They had Blue Bucks the first day I'm
- 20:28Speaker 1: talking about. They had a Beta La too, so they
- 20:32Speaker 1: had Camaya. You know what I'm saying. But I'm talking.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I don't think they were on the flyer even with
- 20:35Speaker 1: no music out. Who don't want to come see two
- 20:38Speaker 1: hours of Joe I can perform for two hours. I
- 20:41Speaker 1: got hits, Like, I just think that like at least
- 20:44Speaker 1: the flyers I've seen have been all DJs. I don't
- 20:47Speaker 1: think they were booking talent maybe telling you for sure,
- 20:49Speaker 1: I knew they were. Just yeah, I think folds were
- 20:55Speaker 1: just pulling up. That's that's what makes it bad. E
- 20:58Speaker 1: book RJ. You know That's what I'm saying. He got,
- 21:03Speaker 1: he got, He don't have to drop tomorrow. He got
- 21:05Speaker 1: consistent records to still turn up the LA function. I
- 21:08Speaker 1: think they booked. I just think they booked the DJs. No,
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you you want to That's what I mean.
- 21:17Speaker 1: It was Brian Sampson been blowing you up? Nah, he
- 21:20Speaker 1: blowing you up. Yo. I'm in the middle of an interview, Bud.
- 21:23Speaker 1: What the fun can I do for you? Where you at?
- 21:27Speaker 1: Are you outside? Do you need someone to let you in?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Brian Sampson? Funk off? Then, Jesus Christ, it's the guy
- 21:35Speaker 1: you gotta hang around with, working your record. Fucking fast

- 23:23Speaker 1: oh for sure. Top five, No Streets is a Mother,
- 23:25Speaker 1: one of my favorite albums ever. Top top five Streets
- 23:28Speaker 1: is Mother is Crazy. Top five. They're calling out names.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Come on, man, come on, man, see see that is like,
- 23:36Speaker 1: come on, man, that's legendary. That's legendary for me, for
- 23:39Speaker 1: the city. That's legendary. It's and it's a lot of
- 23:42Speaker 1: other legendary guys that never made it as big as
- 23:44Speaker 1: Corrupt did, but still was staples in the city that
- 23:47Speaker 1: you've probably never heard of, like the Relatives, Relatives, the
- 23:51Speaker 1: east Siders. Come on, I'm just saying, but a lot
- 23:54Speaker 1: of people don't know about these these individuals. Huh, yeah,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you know, both the East Side. His eyms were crazy.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Come on, man, see I grew up off that type
- 24:02Speaker 1: of music and be brazy a legend. I'm talking about
- 24:06Speaker 1: where I come from, legend, you know what I'm saying,
- 24:08Speaker 1: figure ro Rider gang, Like I grew up off that
- 24:11Speaker 1: type of like I was in the streets. Do you
- 24:14Speaker 1: like for you do you kind of feel like the
- 24:16Speaker 1: same way like those guys didn't get the love? Maybe
- 24:21Speaker 1: like we do you feel like you're kind of in
- 24:22Speaker 1: that same position for your era. Listen, I come from
- 24:25Speaker 1: a hood that's most hated first and foremost were the
- 24:28Speaker 1: only bloods in this little community, and we most hated,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So just where I come from,
- 24:33Speaker 1: we beef with everybody. It's no it's no control. We
- 24:37Speaker 1: beef with everybody, and just off that vibe. Now, me
- 24:41Speaker 1: being a man and building my own relationships, like my
- 24:43Speaker 1: relationships are crazy, so me being a man. But it's
- 24:46Speaker 1: a lot of niggas that don't give me my just dude,
- 24:48Speaker 1: just why come from because where you're from, just from
- 24:50Speaker 1: where I'm from, they be like nope, why I don't
- 24:52Speaker 1: want to hear it. Fuck cuh nigga woo woo woo.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And that's just it is what it is. And people
- 24:58Speaker 1: a lot of people are like, Nah, Joe Moses really
- 25:00Speaker 1: nigga got bars. He really can flow and he really
- 25:02Speaker 1: talking a real story. A lot of these niggas is fabricating.
- 25:05Speaker 1: You meet artists that that you know a lot of
- 25:08Speaker 1: artists be fabricating in their music. I've really been in
- 25:11Speaker 1: prison and that don't make me a bigger person or
- 25:14Speaker 1: a tougher person, but my stories are authentic. In one thousand,
- 25:17Speaker 1: a lot of people just rapping. It's a lot of
- 25:19Speaker 1: rapping the rap, just wrapping the rap. Speaking of that,
- 25:22Speaker 1: what were your thoughts coming from the culture here in La.
- 25:27Speaker 1: When you see this Kwondo Rondo kid go on Instagram
- 25:30Speaker 1: and say that dropping his flag, he's dropping his flag,
- 25:34Speaker 1: I feel like it's usually not that easy, right man,
- 25:37Speaker 1: Shit don't work like that shit and man boring and
- 25:40Speaker 1: this shit. Fuck you talking about dropping your flag? Man,
- 25:42Speaker 1: get off the get off the internet and go do
- 25:45Speaker 1: what you need to do. And I'm talking about anybody
- 25:47Speaker 1: that think this game banging and shit is easy. Man, Listen,
- 25:50Speaker 1: ain't nobody bigger than the program. See the fact is,
- 25:52Speaker 1: you get money, you think you bigger than the program.
- 25:54Speaker 1: You're not. You still got rules and regulations that you
- 25:56Speaker 1: got to go by. It's still somebody that I got
- 25:58Speaker 1: to answer to, regardless if I got millions right. And
- 26:01Speaker 1: he's not even he's not from here, so I think
- 26:03Speaker 1: he probably don't even understand, like what he really signed
- 26:06Speaker 1: up for. You don't know what you signed And that's
- 26:07Speaker 1: the problem with these artists where people be like, oh well,
- 26:11Speaker 1: oh well six nine, he ain't this he didn't know man, Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 1: that man was called man. Listen, you know what you
- 26:17Speaker 1: signed up for, taking on the chin, getting the feel
- 26:21Speaker 1: and get ready. Like that's why I don't I don't
- 26:25Speaker 1: come here and say because the fans ain't they gonna
- 26:28Speaker 1: like Jo Moses still promote game banging, and I'm just
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm just telling you the real I know what I
- 26:32Speaker 1: signed up for. Every day when I walk outside. If
- 26:34Speaker 1: I go to a restaurant and eat with my family
- 26:37Speaker 1: and somebody see me over there, I know what I
- 26:39Speaker 1: signed up for. A jel Hey, man, this stigga Jo
- 26:41Speaker 1: MoES up here eating with his family, come up here
- 26:43Speaker 1: like that. Shit like that happens. So you got to
- 26:45Speaker 1: be prepared for everything that you signed up for. And
- 26:47Speaker 1: I know when I'm coaching football, Brom, I know what
- 26:51Speaker 1: I signed up for. I just can't be just forgetful
- 26:54Speaker 1: of what happened in my past and like I'm just
- 26:56Speaker 1: coaching football and nobody won't come and be sitting down
- 26:59Speaker 1: the street and waiting for me to pull off in
- 27:01Speaker 1: and bust twelve shots into my car and try to
- 27:04Speaker 1: kill me. Like, Bro, you have to know what you
- 27:06Speaker 1: signed up for this shit. I don't think people really
- 27:09Speaker 1: understand what they trying to rap. They trying to be
- 27:11Speaker 1: from a section, and they think they get money, and
- 27:13Speaker 1: they think they bigger than the program. Ain't no man
- 27:15Speaker 1: bigger than the program, Like, nobody's bigger than the pro.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I don't care if you got thirty million, Bro, You're
- 27:20Speaker 1: not bigger than the program. Bro, you still got to
- 27:22Speaker 1: answer to somebody. It's still little homies over there that's
- 27:25Speaker 1: making sure that you're able to still come over here.
- 27:27Speaker 1: So what you're gonna do? And I don't I'm not
- 27:30Speaker 1: to say it like that. I don't even associate myself
- 27:33Speaker 1: with with negativity. I associate myself with all positivity first
- 27:36Speaker 1: and foremost. You know what I'm saying. But I know
- 27:38Speaker 1: what I signed up for. I love my homies, win
- 27:41Speaker 1: lose a draw. You know what I'm saying, I'm never
- 27:42Speaker 1: gonna come up here and talk bad about my homies
- 27:44Speaker 1: and my section. I'm never gonna be like, oh, I
- 27:46Speaker 1: got money and them niggas came. I love my homies.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Like at certain points in my life sometime I just
- 27:52Speaker 1: separate myself and just do my own thing. That don't
- 27:54Speaker 1: mean I don't love my hood. I love my homies.
- 27:57Speaker 1: That just means I'm just I'm on my grind. I'm
- 27:59Speaker 1: on my grid is he I'm on my game. I'm
- 28:01Speaker 1: trying to I'm trying to make it, make it. I'm
- 28:04Speaker 1: not trying to be having businesses. I'm trying to make
- 28:07Speaker 1: it like Puffy, like jay Z. And I'm not trying
- 28:09Speaker 1: to be no halfway make it or like Neighborhood make
- 28:12Speaker 1: it or I'm not trying to I'm trying to be
- 28:14Speaker 1: worldwide successful, like you know what I'm saying, owning my
- 28:17Speaker 1: own liquor and doing my own thing. And and I
- 28:21Speaker 1: say a person that made it that a person won't
- 28:23Speaker 1: even look look at too, like we say jay Z
- 28:25Speaker 1: and we say Puffy. I'm trying to make it like Snoop.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to make it like forty forty got his
- 28:31Speaker 1: own liquor killing it. He's got his own liquor, he's
- 28:33Speaker 1: got his own ice creamy, has his own Lumpia company. Bro,
- 28:37Speaker 1: He's got like I just don't look up to just wine.
- 28:40Speaker 1: He's got the fucking turf burritos. I just don't look
- 28:43Speaker 1: up to them staples because, like I say, I was
- 28:45Speaker 1: born and raised where nine to five was special. Like
- 28:47Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like everybody got their lane
- 28:50Speaker 1: of how you're supposed to do stuff. My grandfather who
- 28:53Speaker 1: worked like I still look up to him, Like you
- 28:55Speaker 1: don't got to be successful and have a job, And
- 28:58Speaker 1: I mean, we're making million dollars for me not to
- 29:01Speaker 1: look at you taking care of your family is successful
- 29:03Speaker 1: for me, and that's my main that's my main goal.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Are there any mistakes that
- 29:10Speaker 1: you feel like you said earlier that you guys lead
- 29:13Speaker 1: the groundwork for a lot of the new generation with
- 29:15Speaker 1: some of the mistakes you made. What were those mistakes
- 29:16Speaker 1: you feel like you made throughout your music career that
- 29:18Speaker 1: you look back on and be like, damn, my pride,
- 29:21Speaker 1: my pride being upset, getting myself upset. I made a
- 29:25Speaker 1: lot of mistakes. You know what I'm saying even with
- 29:27Speaker 1: even with you know, Mustard, you know what I'm saying,
- 29:29Speaker 1: Like me and Mustard ain't talk to years. And that's
- 29:31Speaker 1: my brother. I always wish him nothing but success, you
- 29:33Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But I can talk about it
- 29:35Speaker 1: now because like I say, it's always gonna be my brother.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I love him. And there ain't no issues. Your guys's
- 29:40Speaker 1: original falling out. It wasn't no, it wasn't no falling out.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I just I just was. I just was in my pride.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And I'm a man to admit, like when I'm wrong
- 29:48Speaker 1: and talking to the wrong people, you know what I'm saying,
- 29:50Speaker 1: and people keeping it stirred up, and I'm like, fuck it,
- 29:53Speaker 1: and he trying to like have conversations. I'm like, nah,
- 29:56Speaker 1: nigga in the risk, Like, bro, like why you're so upset?
- 30:00Speaker 1: Like you know what I'm saying, This shit is business
- 30:01Speaker 1: at the end of the day. Keep that shit going
- 30:03Speaker 1: and keep that shit successful. And then fucked up a
- 30:05Speaker 1: lot of relationships dealing with my pride, dealing with pride,
- 30:08Speaker 1: and dealing with younger artists like I had one take
- 30:12Speaker 1: Jay that was my guys then was around me. We
- 30:15Speaker 1: played basketball for months and months at a time and
- 30:17Speaker 1: dealing with my pride like he like, big, bro, what
- 30:20Speaker 1: should I do? I'm taking, Uh, they want a meeting
- 30:23Speaker 1: with me and I'm like, nigga, you going beside me
- 30:25Speaker 1: trying to do a meet and move and I just
- 30:27Speaker 1: cut him off and like shit like that. Dealing with
- 30:29Speaker 1: my pride is like fuck me up in a lot
- 30:31Speaker 1: of situations where it's like, bro, why you sould white
- 30:34Speaker 1: so upset? Like get it together. And now that I'm older,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I can admit my faults and say, Joe Moses hath
- 30:40Speaker 1: made a lot of mistakes dealing with pride. What do
- 30:44Speaker 1: you think because a lot of people it takes like
- 30:46Speaker 1: some sort of I mean, I've had it. I used to,
- 30:49Speaker 1: you know, pride used to get in the way of
- 30:50Speaker 1: a lot of shit. I used to look at other
- 30:52Speaker 1: people and what they were doing and make it feel
- 30:54Speaker 1: some type of way about what I had going on,
- 30:56Speaker 1: or like you said, like I'd be like, man, fuck
- 30:58Speaker 1: them like or I used to really give a fuck
- 31:00Speaker 1: if like somebody went to like the other person's radio show,
- 31:04Speaker 1: like you know what I mean. But I'm like, I
- 31:05Speaker 1: don't care about none of this shit no more. I'm like, bro,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I'm doing me. There's enough money for everybody. But I
- 31:11Speaker 1: feel you, like, was there something that happened that like
- 31:14Speaker 1: really made you kind of re evaluate that shit. It's
- 31:16Speaker 1: just like life is too short. Losing losing DJ Official,
- 31:20Speaker 1: losing my father, losing my uncle. I lost about since pandemic.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I don't lost about nineteen people, you know what I'm saying.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I'm saying losing people. I don't want to lose my friends,
- 31:31Speaker 1: like you know, we might not see eye the eye
- 31:33Speaker 1: every day, but losing my friends on something that's not
- 31:36Speaker 1: even important. I've lost real people to me to the
- 31:39Speaker 1: left and to the right, and I'm looking I'd be like, damn,
- 31:41Speaker 1: I don't have nobody like I don't have my father
- 31:45Speaker 1: like that. That's a big thing for me, not being
- 31:46Speaker 1: having nobody to talk to. Sometime I need guidance. So
- 31:49Speaker 1: I got my godfather, you know, I call him and
- 31:52Speaker 1: make conversations to him. I got my football friends, I
- 31:55Speaker 1: got my homies. You ever talk about going to therapy whatever? Yeah? Hey,
- 32:03Speaker 1: because look, you're ahead of your household. No no, no, no,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you're a leader for so many people. But who do
- 32:06Speaker 1: you have to No? No, that's facts. See. See I'm not.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm not afraid of it, and I'm not I'm not
- 32:11Speaker 1: against it, like you know what I'm saying. Like I've
- 32:13Speaker 1: talked to somebody that was like, maybe Joe, you need
- 32:15Speaker 1: to go to therapy. You've lost so much in that
- 32:17Speaker 1: and you bundle this ship all in. It's not it's
- 32:19Speaker 1: not a bad someone to talk. And we have to
- 32:21Speaker 1: stop that narrative too, thinking that in our black homes,
- 32:23Speaker 1: thinking that you know, that's that's because that's what goes
- 32:26Speaker 1: on a black home. We don't need no motherfucking therapy.
- 32:28Speaker 1: You go talk to nobody. Ain't nothing wrong with your
- 32:31Speaker 1: punk ass. Trust me. That's not just black homes, my
- 32:35Speaker 1: white trash home as well. That's something that we go through.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Mother fucking dad needs therapy. That fucker would never go though. No,
- 32:42Speaker 1: I've got so much bottled in, bro and people really
- 32:44Speaker 1: don't understand. Like I deal with a lot of issues
- 32:47Speaker 1: and a lot of proms, and I sometimes I look
- 32:49Speaker 1: up and I don't have nobody to help me with nothing.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Have you ever tried mushrooms? No, that might change your life.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I might go shoot up her. No, No, No, I
- 32:58Speaker 1: might look at niggas is roaches. That's a misconception. Misconception. Nope,
- 33:03Speaker 1: that's not true. That's not true. How you feel it's therapeutic,
- 33:06Speaker 1: it's therapeutic. It's therapeutic. They actually they're pushing for a psilocybin,
- 33:11Speaker 1: which is the active ingredient in mushrooms. They're pushing for
- 33:14Speaker 1: psilocybin therapy. Joe Biden's trying to get illegalized in the
- 33:18Speaker 1: next two years. It's already legal in Portland. Like in Portland,
- 33:21Speaker 1: you go to psychiatrists and they'll put you like, they'll
- 33:23Speaker 1: give you psilocybin in a dose and then work with
- 33:25Speaker 1: you three It's it's trust me, do some research. It's
- 33:27Speaker 1: not if you eat a ton of anything you're gonna
- 33:31Speaker 1: trip balls, But like, trust me, shrooms is the fucking future. Man.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I've been hearing it. I've been in a gang of
- 33:38Speaker 1: studio sessions with some big artists and you saw Meek
- 33:41Speaker 1: Mill just tweeted about it. But I've been I've been
- 33:43Speaker 1: in some big producers and big artists with niggas like hey, y'all,
- 33:47Speaker 1: let's get off these mushrooms and make these beats. And
- 33:49Speaker 1: I'm like, fuck that. I ain't doing none of that. Ship.
- 33:52Speaker 1: I ain't because I want to kill all you niggas
- 33:54Speaker 1: and this motherfucker I can't control I can't even control weed.
- 33:58Speaker 1: But but it's a little more controllable, like eating eating
- 34:01Speaker 1: weed is dangerous. If you eat weed too much, it's fucked.
- 34:07Speaker 1: If you eat too much mushrooms, you're just gonna change
- 34:09Speaker 1: your life in a positive way. Don't listen to him.
- 34:13Speaker 1: He has no idea what he said. Appreciate y'all watching,
- 34:18Speaker 1: but listen. Our partner's at Blue Cheo. They got you

- 35:45Speaker 1: A song like Paranoid comes out, the label puts Bob
- 35:48Speaker 1: on it, you're on the original. Yeah, at the time,
- 35:51Speaker 1: I'm sure you felt some type of way, but like
- 35:53Speaker 1: I talk the time for months, ye tell me what
- 35:55Speaker 1: happened there, because I remember like having the OG version
- 35:58Speaker 1: of my Serrado and then I'll do you see the
- 36:00Speaker 1: version that the label works because Bob was on fire
- 36:02Speaker 1: as a label made you know again back to the
- 36:04Speaker 1: music business. I didn't fuck with Todd for that and
- 36:07Speaker 1: Tires my brother, you know, I didn't fuck with him.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I'm like, Nigga, I showed up to the video shooting,
- 36:12Speaker 1: like thinking it was our video shooting. It was Bob there.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm like, what the fuck, nigga, Yeah, nigga,
- 36:20Speaker 1: Well that's how me and Tired talk to each other.
- 36:21Speaker 1: But that's my brother though, don't get it fucked up.
- 36:23Speaker 1: But I'm like, you guys look like you could also
- 36:25Speaker 1: literally be brothers. Yeah, that's that's really my brother. I
- 36:28Speaker 1: was with him last night, like I don't give a
- 36:30Speaker 1: fuck what he do. I don't gonna fuck what he
- 36:32Speaker 1: got going on. That's the situation I had to get
- 36:35Speaker 1: over to. And then I just got so much respect
- 36:38Speaker 1: for La Radio dj E man. I got so much
- 36:41Speaker 1: love for just different people at Power and Philly they
- 36:44Speaker 1: like played that version. They like man Jomoes version better. Yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 1: we're gonna play. Were sticking behind Joe Moses. You know
- 36:51Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like, even when people think I'm taking
- 36:53Speaker 1: shots at t I, I'm like, nah, I'm not taking shots.
- 36:56Speaker 1: But that was bullshit. I shouldn't say something like that
- 36:58Speaker 1: about a man's wife. You know what I'm saying. And
- 37:00Speaker 1: I'm older to admit that now. I mean, listen, I
- 37:05Speaker 1: was just rapping, though. You were just rapping, and sometimes
- 37:07Speaker 1: when you're just rapping, you just be saying some ship.
- 37:11Speaker 1: I was just talking and everybody listening to my music
- 37:13Speaker 1: they hear I say all types of ship. So I
- 37:16Speaker 1: was just rapping. It wasn't no shot at t I. Like,
- 37:19Speaker 1: I was just rapping, and it's like, not like you
- 37:21Speaker 1: knew t I at the time. Yeah, I was just rapping, bro,
- 37:24Speaker 1: it wasn't It wasn't It wasn't personal. You know what
- 37:27Speaker 1: I'm saying. Everybody thought it was personal or everybody like, oh,
- 37:29Speaker 1: you're taking I'm like what one of my favorite Urban
- 37:33Speaker 1: Legend is one of my favorite albums in the world.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Like what you're talking about like could be best. It's
- 37:39Speaker 1: best music come both. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 37:44Speaker 1: trap music, Hey, let's get away, let's get around one
- 37:46Speaker 1: the other side of town. Urban legend like you gotta
- 37:48Speaker 1: sat get his kids together. Man, that one kid is
- 37:52Speaker 1: fucking turned up. You don't got to do nothing. Man,
- 37:55Speaker 1: he spoke no. I like how he spoke on it though.
- 37:57Speaker 1: You know what he said. He said, I gave him
- 37:59Speaker 1: all the game I could give him. It's up to him.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Now he's gonna have to go to jail or something.
- 38:02Speaker 1: And my daddy told me the same exact thing. You
- 38:05Speaker 1: know where I went to prison. Elect Just because you
- 38:08Speaker 1: grew up a certain way, you can't coddle like a
- 38:10Speaker 1: I like how t I responded to all the backlash
- 38:12Speaker 1: because he was like yo, like yo, I told him
- 38:16Speaker 1: everything I could tell him. It's on him now. So
- 38:18Speaker 1: you got all these motherfuckers on the internet. That's that's
- 38:20Speaker 1: that's that's focused on what we do in in life. Really, Instagram,
- 38:25Speaker 1: you should be charging these motherfuckers a fucking a monthly
- 38:29Speaker 1: fee to be able to say all this negative ship
- 38:31Speaker 1: to us. You know what I'm saying, We should charge
- 38:33Speaker 1: on Instagram if you want to see my life. Motherfucker,
- 38:36Speaker 1: I should be able to charge you to see my life.
- 38:38Speaker 1: They have that, it's called only fans. Yeah, but I'm
- 38:40Speaker 1: talking about my I'm talking about on this Instagram ship,
- 38:42Speaker 1: right if that life? Technically you can do that on
- 38:45Speaker 1: ig now you can you people can subscribe to your
- 38:49Speaker 1: page for like exclusive content that only goes to your

- 38:58Speaker 1: That's only fans, only fans, you can run it up,
- 39:02Speaker 1: not my porns. Yeah, I don't know about that. I
- 39:05Speaker 1: don't think I ESSU fled in that fly Twitter though, Twitter,
- 39:07Speaker 1: you could do anything flies on Twitter. Winter's a dark
- 39:11Speaker 1: place I had. I ain't had Twitter in like two years. Yeah.
- 39:15Speaker 1: My wife recently went through my Twitter followers people I
- 39:18Speaker 1: was following, and she she wasn't happy raised it. Well,
- 39:21Speaker 1: she was just like, who did I marry? Why is
- 39:23Speaker 1: everyone you follow have xxx in their bio? I've had
- 39:28Speaker 1: Twitter since n I'm babe. It used to be it
- 39:34Speaker 1: used to be dangerous when I would like open my
- 39:36Speaker 1: laptop and like Twitter, be up. I can't like I
- 39:40Speaker 1: unfollowed all the porn bitches. But it used to just
- 39:42Speaker 1: be smut. My whole timeline was just fucked up porn,
- 39:45Speaker 1: just like we're just follow my favorite porn stars. Bro. Yeah, facts,
- 39:51Speaker 1: who's your favorite artist right now? Artist from the City.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I really you like to see the kid a lot.
- 40:01Speaker 1: My god, he came up here and like we had
- 40:03Speaker 1: a dope convo. I think he's got potential to make
- 40:05Speaker 1: like some really big records. He got a good head
- 40:07Speaker 1: on the show this movie does. And I really like Rouccie.
- 40:11Speaker 1: That's my little brother. Rouccie to me, has uh he's
- 40:15Speaker 1: he's dope. I think his personality is great. He just
- 40:17Speaker 1: walks around with a bong and will just like light
- 40:19Speaker 1: up a bong, like a big bong, like you know,
- 40:22Speaker 1: like most people don't travel with a bong. They'll be like,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I got back, No, this motherfucker has a four foot
- 40:27Speaker 1: bong with him at all times. I love Rouccie. I
- 40:29Speaker 1: think Roucie's fired them Joe Moses kids though, you know
- 40:32Speaker 1: everybody got they section the kids, Roochie little deuce, them
- 40:38Speaker 1: Joe Moses kids like them, Them kids that listen to
- 40:41Speaker 1: Joe Moses and and came up to be somebody in life,
- 40:44Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So them was my them
- 40:46Speaker 1: was my babies right there when I when I mean

- 40:50Speaker 1: J's dope. I love that's a little bro won't take Jay,
- 40:53Speaker 1: won't take Kwan the whole one take. I used to
- 40:54Speaker 1: have them around me for months. I used to take
- 40:56Speaker 1: them to the clubs, like, yeah, Tike is dope. Them
- 40:59Speaker 1: was all supposed to be n WB artists, and in reality,
- 41:02Speaker 1: we did a whole mixtape and I wanted to sign them.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I just didn't have my business and ship right at
- 41:06Speaker 1: that time. Well, I did a whole tape with them.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I mean, Blue Bucks is dope. I like Ramble. I
- 41:11Speaker 1: try to sign Blue Bucks too. They'll tell you they
- 41:14Speaker 1: signed with Louid Tate. I mean, you know what I'm saying,
- 41:16Speaker 1: lloid Tate doing this thing after and they know I'm
- 41:21Speaker 1: for the city, man, I ain't going against nothing in
- 41:23Speaker 1: the city, Pierod point blank. I don't got nothing bad
- 41:25Speaker 1: to say about nobody in the city. I'm for the city,
- 41:27Speaker 1: and I stand on that. I never get on this
- 41:30Speaker 1: ship and on a platform and disrespect nobody in the city.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Game just dropped this album. I'm happy Game dropped this album.
- 41:37Speaker 1: They're playing James is dope, who Airplane? He's dope. Oh yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 1: he his but I he been around though, he's been around,
- 41:47Speaker 1: but I mean he's been he's been doing this thing.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yeah uh yeah, man, I mean I like, I mean,
- 41:54Speaker 1: there's a kid they brab with the bad Changer that's Mexican.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Raptor is pretty hard from He's cool going on. He
- 41:59Speaker 1: going on to it with somebody. Yeah yeah, joint. Now.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I had agent Listen, I had a Z Sway. I
- 42:08Speaker 1: had him around me two thousand and eleven, twenty and twelve.
- 42:13Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, that's crazy like that he
- 42:16Speaker 1: was supposed to be my artist. Twenty and twelve. I
- 42:18Speaker 1: was going crazy with him taking this record. I had
- 42:20Speaker 1: Chris Brown and tied out of Son on his remix
- 42:23Speaker 1: of his song, and we just he just went off
- 42:26Speaker 1: and did his own thing. But I've been, I've been.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I've been one of the biggest an rs in the city.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I've been one of the guys that come get all
- 42:33Speaker 1: the youth like you know what I'm saying. What I'm saying,
- 42:35Speaker 1: Like I got the remix with with Zoel Summer shout
- 42:39Speaker 1: out to him. You know what I'm saying, high record,
- 42:41Speaker 1: come on, gotta keep it going. Who else on your album?
- 42:44Speaker 1: You told me Gun is on the album? Is so
- 42:47Speaker 1: Gun is on the album? But I took him off?
- 42:49Speaker 1: You took him off? Yeah, because just the just the
- 42:53Speaker 1: my brother and you know what I'm saying. I already
- 42:55Speaker 1: had his blessings four years ago on the records, him
- 42:58Speaker 1: and Thug. I just took him off because I'm like,
- 43:01Speaker 1: I'm so man, I'm so like above it, and I
- 43:04Speaker 1: don't want nobody to feel like I'm using that situation
- 43:08Speaker 1: like he to help your music, to help my Nah, bro,
- 43:10Speaker 1: they're my brothers, you know what I'm saying, Like, I
- 43:12Speaker 1: got it, I got songs with them. When they get out,
- 43:15Speaker 1: we're gonna put our music out. You know what I'm saying.
- 43:17Speaker 1: They will get out. It feels like that they should
- 43:19Speaker 1: get out because I feel like, well, people aren't really
- 43:22Speaker 1: not to be in the business of like their case
- 43:24Speaker 1: or anything. But what I think people have a misconception
- 43:26Speaker 1: is that it's a Georgia state Rico, not a fed Rico.
- 43:31Speaker 1: It's not yet at least, but the fed Rico is
- 43:33Speaker 1: the one where it's like yeah, yo, so so so
- 43:37Speaker 1: if it's it's a state of Georgia and it's that
- 43:39Speaker 1: lady that that prosecuted from that county that put together
- 43:42Speaker 1: the Rico case. So it's not not saying that it's
- 43:44Speaker 1: not serious. It's obviously very serious. But you would hope that,
- 43:47Speaker 1: like you know, things will get cleared up. So man, listen, man,
- 43:52Speaker 1: you can. Police are fucking crazy though the fact that
- 43:54Speaker 1: they're I'm glad that California is at least a safe
- 43:57Speaker 1: haven for artists to speak freely in their music because
- 43:59Speaker 1: I think the just passed that out here where you
- 44:02Speaker 1: can't fuck with people off of song lyrics. Man, we're
- 44:05Speaker 1: talking about art. Yeah, it was sometime your art can
- 44:08Speaker 1: turn into another person's reality. So you gotta watch what
- 44:11Speaker 1: you say in these music sometimes. Why I was about
- 44:13Speaker 1: to say, would you because would you advise that to it?
- 44:15Speaker 1: Because I feel like artists who we know are probably
- 44:18Speaker 1: certain types of individuals. You listen to the music and
- 44:22Speaker 1: you're like, damn, it sounds like you're snitching on yourself.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Some some people are snitching like some people are dry
- 44:32Speaker 1: dry on their self. You gotta watch what you say.
- 44:34Speaker 1: And this ship so like I say, it's ship that
- 44:36Speaker 1: I signed up for. It is like I know, I
- 44:38Speaker 1: gotta watch what I say is it's like certain shit.
- 44:40Speaker 1: You just I'm just like yo, I'm a factor where
- 44:42Speaker 1: I come from. So it's like little Joe, I'm not
- 44:46Speaker 1: I'm not speaking I'm speaking all Joe Moses times. I
- 44:48Speaker 1: ain't gonna know little Joe times, because little Joe was
- 44:50Speaker 1: a different type of individual somebody else who is a
- 44:53Speaker 1: function guy who somehow when I was first moving to
- 44:57Speaker 1: La had stunt doubles because he was at every night
- 44:59Speaker 1: club of all the time. Same time someone you grew
- 45:01Speaker 1: up with a D. Yeah, that's my kid, Uh I
- 45:07Speaker 1: say that? Yeah? Well, I mean I know you guys.
- 45:09Speaker 1: You grew up at each other's family's houses, and I
- 45:12Speaker 1: raised him my kids. I'm proud of you to see
- 45:14Speaker 1: him do his thing, and like his personality is like
- 45:16Speaker 1: I hate a D why too? Really? I just hate
- 45:20Speaker 1: his teeth. I love a D. That motherfucker got that
- 45:23Speaker 1: he got no problem. I love a D. So because
- 45:25Speaker 1: he's he's he's he's turning to somebody that's consistent on
- 45:30Speaker 1: his passion, on what he wanted to do and his character.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I feel like he's he's being in the position he's in,
- 45:35Speaker 1: it's easy for him to do it like he's done
- 45:37Speaker 1: zero fun shit. He don't have no flawed character in him,
- 45:39Speaker 1: even when I want, even when I want to be
- 45:41Speaker 1: mad at him, like he like josted my big bro.
- 45:44Speaker 1: So fuck y'all, I don't give a fuck. Oh and
- 45:46Speaker 1: whatever we go through a d listen and I'm telling
- 45:49Speaker 1: you that right here on Bootleg CAV. I'm proud of you, Bro,
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm proud of you. I'm proud of Genesis, I'm proud
- 45:55Speaker 1: of pun I'm proud of a lot of people that
- 46:00Speaker 1: came a part of our situation that was that was
- 46:04Speaker 1: around with us. A V. I'm proud of AV. Yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I'm proud of Av. AV to me is like similar
- 46:11Speaker 1: to you in terms of like y'all just got slappers.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Like when AV dropped some ship, he know what he's doing.
- 46:17Speaker 1: He I ain't like a lot of people. You don't
- 46:20Speaker 1: get enough respect for a lot of people. Keep him
- 46:22Speaker 1: out the conversation, you know what I'm saying. With a V,
- 46:24Speaker 1: I definitely deal with A I mean I definitely deal
- 46:27Speaker 1: with a V. Far as Like like AV was one
- 46:30Speaker 1: of them guys where it was like you couldn't go
- 46:32Speaker 1: to a function where they wasn't playing Joe Moses, yg
- 46:35Speaker 1: and av Yeah, money dance is a club man. You
- 46:38Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I'm talking. I'm talking about two
- 46:40Speaker 1: thousand and eight, two thousand and nine and ten. For sure,
- 46:43Speaker 1: you couldn't like people. People come up here and don't
- 46:46Speaker 1: speak reality. You couldn't go to a function and they
- 46:48Speaker 1: wasn't playing Joe Moses, uh a v yg and who else?
- 46:58Speaker 1: Who else? Who else was the little dude that uh
- 47:01Speaker 1: that was from Long Beach TF thirdf third was playing third?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Back then problem Problem you know what I'm saying, the
- 47:09Speaker 1: problem running. But that was that was after us though,
- 47:12Speaker 1: Welcome to Molly World. Now see well he just celebrated
- 47:15Speaker 1: the ten year anniversary of No that was. But but
- 47:18Speaker 1: also people forget problem was around then. Problem was around here,
- 47:22Speaker 1: had no no bro. Problem had what's the name? Back
- 47:25Speaker 1: then he had I'm fucked up. I fucked us. We
- 47:29Speaker 1: had before he had that was like wait or nine. Yeah,
- 47:33Speaker 1: when I'm talking about when we was doing that, Problem
- 47:34Speaker 1: had I'm fucked up. So he was already he was
- 47:36Speaker 1: already on a bigger stage than us. Problem. He was
- 47:38Speaker 1: already traveling, you know what I'm saying. He was already traveling,
- 47:41Speaker 1: going around the world on the bigger stage than us.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You know, I'm talking about in the basements, in them
- 47:45Speaker 1: parties in the basements. The Tay song All Star, that
- 47:51Speaker 1: was my ship. That was that ship was a classic. Yah.
- 47:56Speaker 1: We was really in a dungeon. I'm talking about in
- 47:58Speaker 1: the dungeons and the dungeon functions, you know functions, them
- 48:03Speaker 1: dungeon function where it's hot, you gotta take your shirt off.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Everybody in there freaking when you hear t shirt and
- 48:09Speaker 1: my panties come on and then yg relax, come on. Oh.
- 48:12Speaker 1: It used to go crazy. I used to tell Todd, Bro,
- 48:14Speaker 1: you don't see how these women treat you. I wish
- 48:17Speaker 1: I could sing. He used to sing relax and the girls,
- 48:19Speaker 1: Oh my god. I sued to be like, wow, this
- 48:22Speaker 1: is crazy, bro, Like we we really superstars and really

- 50:16Speaker 1: It's really my life coming from nothing to something, you know,
- 50:19Speaker 1: jumping out here, you know, straight from prison, jumping into
- 50:22Speaker 1: the booth and really becoming some successful big y and wacko.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Always believed, you know what I'm saying, My team believing
- 50:31Speaker 1: in me. And that's just the whole story. My dad

- 50:43Speaker 1: nothing to some little Joe. When you get out, you're
- 50:45Speaker 1: gonna become somebody. So I really take that shit serious.
- 50:48Speaker 1: It's like, it's like my longevity is is not heading
- 50:52Speaker 1: straight to space. It's just floating in the sky and
- 50:54Speaker 1: then going to space. A lot of these kids go
- 50:56Speaker 1: straight to space and then they get lost in the
- 50:59Speaker 1: sauce and then they got to come back down to Earth.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I've been the most consistent. You should they should give

- 51:57Speaker 1: Future has Dungeon Family tatter on his board and that's
- 51:59Speaker 1: my brother. One thing about Future Mo, he'd be so
