A multi-sport star in his native New Jersey, Jim Kiick went on to lead the Wyoming Cowboys in rushing from 1965-67 becoming the first player ever to earn first-team All-WAC honors three times. Kiick was selected by the then-AFL’s Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 1968 draft. He quickly forged a bond with Larry Csonka that lead to the duo being dubbed “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.” Kiick’s versatility on the field helped him become a key figure in the Dolphins reign of the early 70’s including back-to-back Super Bowl titles, which of course also…
