Should Christians Support Welfare? | Ascend the Hill w/ Jeremy Austill EP 124
In this episode of Ascend the Hill, we tackle one of today’s most debated issues: work, welfare, and the biblical call to diligence.
We discuss the tension between helping those in true need and avoiding a culture of dependency, how Scripture defines work as part of God’s original design, and why being principled doesn’t mean being heartless.
Join the conversation on:
• The difference between can’t work vs. won’t work
• What the Bible says about laziness, diligence, and stewardship
• How Christians can balance compassion with responsibility
