- 0:36Speaker 1: episode Meat Eater Trivia Jabebroni Championship. For the first time
- 0:41Speaker 1: in Meet Eater Trivia history, we're going to crown a
- 0:43Speaker 1: king or Queen Jabbroni for twenty twenty five to Broni's
- 0:48Speaker 1: how do you feel about your chances? No, no Randall, no, Seth.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I feel great.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I'm right here.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry. No Steve, no Randall, no Jannis, no Brody
- 1:00Speaker 1: true mm.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Hmm I feel better than a normal one.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Okay, let's get some predictions. Seth, who do you think
- 1:07Speaker 1: is going to be the Jabbroni Championship? Mmmmm win the
- 1:11Speaker 1: Broni change.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I think Hansi is a strong testament.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Hansei in our in our tournament in twenty twenty three,
- 1:18Speaker 1: he finished like fourth or something like that, So Hansi,
- 1:22Speaker 1: we have evidence he's a strong trivia player. Alyssa, what's
- 1:25Speaker 1: your prediction?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:26Speaker 1: I was gonna say Hanse, but I'm gonna go with Tressa. Okay,
- 1:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there we go, Queen Jabroni. John, how about you?
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna go Nate.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Okay, Nate, Who's or excuse me, John, who's the best
- 1:36Speaker 1: at the meat eater store? Did they send their best
- 1:38Speaker 1: in you?
- 1:39Speaker 2: I think so?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Okay? I know, kid, he holds the record at four.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I'm right behind him with three, okay, out of ten.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So if I went back to high school and playing baseball,
- 1:49Speaker 1: three out of ten, that's very batting average.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yes, so I'll take it.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I told the store manager, I said, send your best
- 1:54Speaker 1: for the Jabbroni Championship. And here's John Corey. Who's gonna
- 1:57Speaker 1: be the champion? Alyssa, Alyssa, there we go, Tresta. What
- 2:02Speaker 1: you got Corey this time? To shine? Corey?
- 2:05Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Corey? Hodsie, what do you think Corey as well? Two
- 2:09Speaker 1: votes for Corey? Nate, Oh myself, Nate, Okay, a couple
- 2:14Speaker 1: of votes Andrew Broni, a couple votes for Corey. Now
- 2:19Speaker 1: here's how this is going to work. Like the med
- 2:20Speaker 1: Eater Trivia Championship, your scores will carry over into the
- 2:24Speaker 1: next episode. So whoever has the most correct answers after
- 2:27Speaker 1: twenty questions will be declared the winner and they will
- 2:30Speaker 1: get to make a one thousand dollars conservation donation. And
- 2:33Speaker 1: besides the money, there's another prize, which is this wonderful trophy.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Oh beautiful, this is great. So this trophy was given
- 2:41Speaker 1: to Randall at the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo in
- 2:45Speaker 1: Salt Lake. It was made by Gavin and Judd. They
- 2:48Speaker 1: played every single week at work in the winner would
- 2:51Speaker 1: get to put their winning scorecard and their name on
- 2:54Speaker 1: a sticky note that went on the wall in the breakroom.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Then they decide, hey, that's not enough. We got to
- 2:59Speaker 1: do better than this, and so they made this trophy.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It was used. It was made using a fork from
- 3:04Speaker 1: someone's lunchbox and a pocket knife that they had laying
- 3:08Speaker 1: around and they said, if you look close, you might
- 3:10Speaker 1: still find some food on that knife, or excuse me,
- 3:12Speaker 1: on the fork. So they welded that together and that
- 3:15Speaker 1: became the office trophy. And when they created the trophy,
- 3:20Speaker 1: I got more folks interested, and so their their trivia
- 3:23Speaker 1: went from just Gavin and Judd to like everyone in
- 3:25Speaker 1: their department because everybody wanted that trophy in their office.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And then it became a problem. One day their manager
- 3:31Speaker 1: called a meeting and said, this is too much of
- 3:34Speaker 1: a distraction. We can't have you guys doing mediator trivia
- 3:37Speaker 1: at work anymore. So they gave that trophy to us,
- 3:40Speaker 1: and now our Jibebroni is going to get to display
- 3:42Speaker 1: that in their office for a year until we crown
- 3:45Speaker 1: our twenty twenty six. Sounds like typical suits, Yeah, man, impressive. Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 1: feel a heft on that. That's a heavy trophy. And
- 3:53Speaker 1: it's a fork and a pocket knife. What's the pocket knife?
- 3:57Speaker 1: A trade, a schrader, a shred it a sharde pocket
- 4:01Speaker 1: knife and it still works and it still works, that's right.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Uh.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And and it's a beautiful little trophy that our Jabebroni
- 4:09Speaker 1: king or queen is going to get going to get
- 4:12Speaker 1: to display in their office.
- 4:13Speaker 5: So it has a kind of half to that you
- 4:15Speaker 5: don't get with a lot of modern trophy.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's very good. It said it took them about two
- 4:18Speaker 1: hours of work time to create this. It's a it's
- 4:21Speaker 1: a beautiful piece of artist.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Is that what the manager was mad about?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Something like that?
- 4:28Speaker 3: Also, can we figure out who that manager was?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah? How about that? The bad manager didn't like any
- 4:32Speaker 1: camaraderie at work. They said, no.
- 4:34Speaker 2: More meeting, no team building.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah, beatings only.
- 4:39Speaker 1: All right. The Shelby index for this episode is a six,
- 4:42Speaker 1: so our jabbronis should do well with that. We're onto
- 4:46Speaker 1: the game of trivia. Play the drop phill. Look, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: need to know what I stand and win everything. You
- 4:56Speaker 1: just tend to win everything.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Game on Suckers.

- 6:36Speaker 1: Okay, well there's a hint if anyone knows what he's

- 11:49Speaker 1: You go. Everyone to be declaring they have bad markers,
- 11:53Speaker 1: then Marche.
- 11:53Speaker 2: That's how we could settle some tie breakers instead of

- 18:46Speaker 1: Black eyed Susans are found in forty six states and
- 18:50Speaker 1: are the state flower of Maryland. They are a popular
- 18:53Speaker 1: garden flower because they grow quickly and are drought resistant.

- 21:23Speaker 1: northern British Columbia. There are cougar sidings in Alaska, with
- 21:27Speaker 1: the Department of Fish and Game has likened them to
- 21:30Speaker 1: spotting a bigfoot. In the last sixty five years, three
- 21:33Speaker 1: of them have been shot there.
