- 7:16SPEAKER_01: It is not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.

- 7:27SPEAKER_01: If adversity comes, it is merely your opportunity to demonstrate who you truly are.

- 7:48SPEAKER_01: Ask yourself seriously, how can I play my role today more skillfully, nobly, and wisely than ever before?
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Seneca advises us that each day should be welcomed as if it might be our last, not as a reason to fear, but as a reason to cherish.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Remember deeply this day, this very moment is all you have, and let the awareness of life's fragility guide your choices.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Treat each interaction as potentially your final impression on the world.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Keep clearly in mind everything you hold dear can be lost in an instant.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: Everyone you love will eventually pass away.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: What then remains important?
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: Only kindness, virtue, and wise living.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: What else is there but to live meaningfully, lovingly, and deliberately?
