- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie and Josh one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's funny off the air here in the studio. We've
- 0:06Speaker 2: been talking about chicken salad like crazy.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Rooling and dreaming.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It's actually on my menu tonight. I'm gonna be throwing
- 0:13Speaker 2: a couple hold chickens on my tragger and shredding them
- 0:16Speaker 2: up and making some chicken salad sandwiches tonight. Yeah, Mazo, classy, af.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Smunk chicken chicken sound you no, either of I.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Actually, so this is gonna be a first so we'll
- 0:27Speaker 2: see how it turns out.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I guess it goes sounds really really good. It does.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Josh had some chicken salad san which is yesterday
- 0:34Speaker 2: I did.
- 0:35Speaker 4: So we have talked about the chicken salad chick that
- 0:38Speaker 4: has been around here for a little bit now, and
- 0:41Speaker 4: the old GF she was begging to go. She's like,
- 0:44Speaker 4: I've heard about this, I want to go, and I
- 0:46Speaker 4: was like, you know what, let's go. Last night we
- 0:48Speaker 4: decided to take the trip down to DTC where they
- 0:50Speaker 4: just where they just recently opened, and uh, it lived
- 0:55Speaker 4: up to the hype. I got there first of all,
- 0:58Speaker 4: I love how they do it. They have a section
- 0:59Speaker 4: that's all a cart, which is basically all of their
- 1:01Speaker 4: chicken salad there and you can just grab and go.
- 1:04Speaker 4: I love that, and I think I might do that
- 1:05Speaker 4: again because of how much I loved it. But then
- 1:07Speaker 4: ther menu super simple. They have the one scoop, the
- 1:09Speaker 4: two scoop of the sandwich meal. I got the sandwich meal,
- 1:12Speaker 4: and on the sandwich meal you can get two different flavors.
- 1:14Speaker 4: So I was like, Okay, I want to try this,
- 1:16Speaker 4: and I ended up getting the kick in Kaylin and
- 1:20Speaker 4: the Olivia's Old South, so it was like a spicy
- 1:22Speaker 4: jlapeno one and then the other one was like the normal,
- 1:25Speaker 4: like you have egg and some pickle and all that
- 1:27Speaker 4: type of stuff in the chicken salad.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Do they have weird flavors like skittles, No.
- 1:33Speaker 5: They don't stare out usually nothing strange, some strange trollium jelly.
- 1:39Speaker 4: No.
- 1:39Speaker 3: No, they have apples and apples.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We put we put a dollup of Vix on it.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Clease your sinuses.
- 1:49Speaker 3: They do have the smoke version, though, which is what
- 1:51Speaker 3: you're having tonight. They didn't go vix.
- 2:01Speaker 4: The best part though, Katie, which I don't know if
- 2:03Speaker 4: you can attest to this. Their desserts are insane they got.
- 2:06Speaker 4: They have a whole red velvet cake for you can use.
- 2:10Speaker 3: So good. And then on top of that, the cookies that.
- 2:12Speaker 5: They make, yeah, the cookies them and they give you
- 2:16Speaker 5: a cookie with each meal you order, so you have
- 2:18Speaker 5: a little cookie on the side.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But it's not even I mean, their chicken salad is money,
- 2:23Speaker 1: so they do.
- 2:23Speaker 5: It is so good, But they're bread that they put
- 2:26Speaker 5: the homemade.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I don't know if it is.
- 2:29Speaker 2: But I want to start making my own bread. You should,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I really do. That's kind of on my list of
- 2:33Speaker 2: things to start doing, is making my own bread because
- 2:37Speaker 2: I just feel like being amish. But you keep I
- 2:40Speaker 2: keep reading about how bad like store bought bread is
- 2:43Speaker 2: for you. It's horrible, full of sugar and preservatives and
- 2:47Speaker 2: fillers and all this crap, and I feel like, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I've got one of those fancy kitchen aid mixers, the
- 2:53Speaker 2: ones that sit on the counter, you know, just to
- 2:54Speaker 2: impress your friends. I want to start using that and
- 2:58Speaker 2: make bread.
- 2:59Speaker 3: You should reach out to Taylor Swift and try to
- 3:00Speaker 3: give the sour dose.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I want to make biscuits. I want to make rolls
- 3:07Speaker 2: you can and bread for toasts.
- 3:10Speaker 5: And from what I understand is once you start, you
- 3:12Speaker 5: can't stop. You are then a bread maker. Oh we
- 3:14Speaker 5: just brag about it to all your friends. You give
- 3:16Speaker 5: bread as gifts.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I would do Yeah, I would change my Instagram.
- 3:19Speaker 2: It's like Denver Radio personality slash breadmakers.
- 3:23Speaker 5: You go two ways, right, You either watch birds or
- 3:25Speaker 5: you make bread.
- 3:26Speaker 1: These are your two options I have.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I've already started watching birds.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Oh no, Geordie.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I've been carrying candy in my pocket too. Somebody put
- 3:36Speaker 2: me in a home, do you know what? Just for funies,
- 3:39Speaker 2: I might put one of those electric wheelchair like ramp
- 3:42Speaker 2: things up my stairs, you know, doing?
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yes?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Why not? Why starting out? Well, I'm sitting on it,
- 3:47Speaker 2: going up. I can eat bread. Yeah, life is good.
- 3:51Speaker 2: We'd like to give you a little sports report each
- 3:55Speaker 2: and every day to JKJ. I got a couple things
- 3:58Speaker 2: real quick before we get to joh. Good god. This
- 4:02Speaker 2: soccer is still going on. But luckily they're starting to
- 4:06Speaker 2: talk about the closing ceremony. Thank god. News is trickling
- 4:10Speaker 2: out now that post Malone has been announced as the
- 4:14Speaker 2: headliner for the FIFA World Cup closing ceremony on Sunday
- 4:19Speaker 2: the nineteenth. In just a few days at MetLife Stadium. Okay,
- 4:23Speaker 2: oh my god, wrap it up. I can't even tell
- 4:25Speaker 2: you how sick I am of hearing about soccer well.
- 4:27Speaker 5: And how does it go with closing ceremonies? Does he
- 4:29Speaker 5: have to sing certain songs or does he get to
- 4:31Speaker 5: sing his songs?
- 4:32Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Don't know. We haven't had one here since like ninety four.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Some of some of the songs are failfy, I know
- 4:40Speaker 2: those are the best ones.
- 4:41Speaker 1: What is he gonna say?
- 4:42Speaker 4: I'd probably do his country. The country are the family
- 4:45Speaker 4: friendly ones.
- 4:46Speaker 2: They say they have a larger entertainment lineup that includes
- 4:49Speaker 2: Tom Cruise, what's he going to say, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira,
- 4:54Speaker 2: BTS and Cold Play. So anyway, that's all wrapping up
- 4:58Speaker 2: on Sunday if you want to joys some sweet tunes
- 5:01Speaker 2: and finally put the nail in the coffin for the
- 5:04Speaker 2: World Cup. I do have one more World Cup story
- 5:06Speaker 2: that makes me giggle. Senegal, I believe it. Say you
- 5:10Speaker 2: can ask the country out in West Africa. They're taking
- 5:13Speaker 2: some heat right now because they just found out that
- 5:17Speaker 2: their main team doctor that has been treating all these
- 5:22Speaker 2: dudes on and off the field is actually a licensed gynecologist.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Look to me.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So apparently there's some drama behind the scenes during the tournament.
- 5:37Speaker 2: He was removed from the team. Now, the Sports Medicine
- 5:41Speaker 2: Association is defending this doctor, saying that whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 5:44Speaker 2: hold on, he also has a little bit of experience
- 5:47Speaker 2: in sports medicine and biology.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Yeah, he's still a doctor, he's qualified.
- 5:51Speaker 3: He knows biology.
- 5:52Speaker 2: But it sounds like the gynecologist is taking heat because
- 5:56Speaker 2: the country lost and they're kind of looking for a
- 6:00Speaker 2: scapegoat right now, and all signs are portant to their guy. No,
- 6:05Speaker 2: you know, because after each game he'd put the boys
- 6:07Speaker 2: up in the stirrups.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I guess for.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Some reason, like but I pulled a hammy?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Why am I right here?
- 6:14Speaker 2: My elbow hurts? Yeah, is in his mouth. Sounds like
- 6:22Speaker 2: he's not the only fall guy. The coach has also
- 6:25Speaker 2: been fired from the team. But it is kind of
- 6:27Speaker 2: funny that the guys there on the sports ball team
- 6:30Speaker 2: have a guy of collegist on deck.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Ready, good, something doesn't look.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Like you twisted an ankle and you're pregnant.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Stir up, Oh my god.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Take this?
- 6:43Speaker 2: What else is going on?
- 6:43Speaker 4: We have a really neat golf story here that has
- 6:45Speaker 4: some Colorado ties. The Open Championship, which is one of
- 6:48Speaker 4: PGA tours for majors that has played throughout the season,
- 6:52Speaker 4: is starting today and the major golfers there, like Scottie Scheffler,
- 6:55Speaker 4: he's in the lead right now, and that's you know,
- 6:57Speaker 4: they're all kind of running the leader board right there.
- 6:59Speaker 4: But I have a cool story about Marcus Plunkett. He
- 7:02Speaker 4: is a graduate from West Point where he did play
- 7:05Speaker 4: golf in college. However, he served in the Army and
- 7:09Speaker 4: actually made a tour in Afghanistan, and after spending his
- 7:13Speaker 4: first year in South Korea, then he was transferred to
- 7:16Speaker 4: Fort Carson, Colorado Springs.
- 7:18Speaker 3: That's where he really started to take up golf.
- 7:21Speaker 4: After a six month deployment in Afghanistan, he made his
- 7:24Speaker 4: way back and was like, Hey, I could either re
- 7:26Speaker 4: sign and kind of keep my military career going, or
- 7:29Speaker 4: I could really try to push my golf career forward.
- 7:32Speaker 4: He said that he started falling back in love with
- 7:35Speaker 4: the game of golf at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs,
- 7:38Speaker 4: and then once he was discharged, he was like, I'm
- 7:40Speaker 4: going to start, you know, really pushing for my pro
- 7:42Speaker 4: tour here in golf. He started making cuts on the
- 7:45Speaker 4: Cornferry Tour, which is kind of like the minor leagues
- 7:48Speaker 4: for the PGA Tour, and he started kind of piling
- 7:51Speaker 4: up these wins or top ten finishes and things like that.
- 7:54Speaker 4: And today he is going to be making his first
- 7:58Speaker 4: PGA appearance in a major, which is a huge deal.
- 8:01Speaker 4: There's like golf tournaments and then there's major tournaments. So
- 8:04Speaker 4: he went from the road from Halalabad, Afghanistan to Colorado.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Now he is in England right now with a chance
- 8:11Speaker 4: to possibly win a major tournament in the PGA Tours.
- 8:16Speaker 2: To him, I think that is so cool for me,
- 8:18Speaker 2: very cool.
- 8:19Speaker 3: I love that.
- 8:20Speaker 4: I love golf obviously, and to see someone come from
- 8:22Speaker 4: Colorado serving our country first of all, which really neat
- 8:26Speaker 4: to go kind of chase his dream there.
- 8:27Speaker 2: So we salute him. For sure.
- 8:31Speaker 4: It's a long shot, but he's got a chance. So
- 8:33Speaker 4: hats off to you, Marcus Plumb.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And he's a kind of college yes sidework, Here go, guys.
- 8:40Speaker 2: There's your sports report this morning with JK J, Jeremy,
- 8:45Speaker 2: Katie and Josh Live and local at a Lone Tree, Colorado.

- 10:21Speaker 2: is officially celebrating ten years since Stranger Things first premiered. Wow,
- 10:27Speaker 2: it's been a decade, my goodness, gracious to celebrate, you
- 10:32Speaker 2: can watch the entire first season in a VHS special edition. Now,
- 10:38Speaker 2: it doesn't mean they're sending out VHS tapes. What they've
- 10:41Speaker 2: done is they've gone in and remastered the original first
- 10:45Speaker 2: season to make it look like a VHS like you
- 10:49Speaker 2: rented it back in eighty three or something. Anyway, there's
- 10:52Speaker 2: tracking lines, some color bleeding, monitored distortion, kind of that warm,
- 10:58Speaker 2: fuzzy audio crack that you got from the old school VHS's,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and you can watch it, you know, all over again. Hey,
- 11:06Speaker 2: guess guess what I'm not gonna do? Less quality, less quality,
- 11:11Speaker 2: And they're like, I get the stick since that was
- 11:13Speaker 2: set in the eighties, you know, so it might be
- 11:16Speaker 2: kind of fun to watch one or two episodes like that,
- 11:19Speaker 2: just all the hell's to the.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Exactly know why in the world when I do that?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Anyway, Hey guys, Julia White is coming back RCLE from
- 11:30Speaker 2: Family Member Family Matters.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Yeah, Stephan Erkel, right, yeah, I loved him though.
- 11:37Speaker 2: He's going to host a new HG TV series called
- 11:40Speaker 2: Totally Nineties House, where two teams of nineties TV stars
- 11:45Speaker 2: will compete to renovate homes that are stuck in the nineties.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Those honeyoat cabinets and sponge painted walls.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Let me tell you what punge in the feathery sponge
- 11:55Speaker 5: and then the feathers mirrored closet doors.
- 11:59Speaker 2: The one team is going to earn twenty five thousand
- 12:01Speaker 2: dollars for a charity of their choosing the star. So
- 12:05Speaker 2: they are bringing back air quotes. Brian Austin Green, Beverly Mitchell,
- 12:09Speaker 2: Jody Sweeten, Yes, Melissa joon Hart, Matthew Lawrence, Oh my goodness,
- 12:14Speaker 2: Keisha Knight poll Man, I know all these people and
- 12:16Speaker 2: Joey Lawrence.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I know every single one of those people.
- 12:19Speaker 2: So six episodes premiere's Wednesday, August twenty six. You know what,
- 12:24Speaker 2: that one might hook me?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Melissa Joan Hart like, I just adore her?
- 12:28Speaker 2: So do you absolutely right up your ally?
- 12:31Speaker 4: Yes?
- 12:31Speaker 2: And how about this? A new study is shown that
- 12:33Speaker 2: the Toy Story franchise has produced fifty one billion dollars
- 12:38Speaker 2: in global economic activity since nineteen ninety five. O seems less,
- 12:45Speaker 2: does it.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'm like, that's a lot of money. My goodness.
- 12:49Speaker 5: I mean, I know it's a long period of time
- 12:51Speaker 5: to make that money, but still, yeahs seems low.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I should I should fact check this story.
- 12:58Speaker 1: How much did they say?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Fifty one billion?
- 13:00Speaker 1: That's a lot of money, Like, remember, way more than
- 13:04Speaker 1: a million?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Really, thank you.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Thank you for that, math my math.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Be math fat your Facebook status today?
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't know if you know?
- 13:15Speaker 5: All marked a million, way more way more than I
- 13:19Speaker 5: got a snake in my bt Okay water World.
- 13:24Speaker 3: We love that.
- 13:26Speaker 5: That's where you spend your summer, right and the brand
- 13:28Speaker 5: new Summit Canyon area that's going to be open July
- 13:31Speaker 5: twenty fifth.
- 13:32Speaker 1: They're having a big ceremony.
- 13:33Speaker 2: My son was just there for an entire day with
- 13:35Speaker 2: a bunch of his buddies, and he was so bummed
- 13:37Speaker 2: because he's like, we wanted to do that new area
- 13:39Speaker 2: and he's like, it opens in just like a few days.
- 13:41Speaker 5: It does, oh no, and it's a really big deal.
- 13:44Speaker 5: They're going to have a whole party kind of thing
- 13:46Speaker 5: going on that day. So it's July twenty fifth. They'll
- 13:49Speaker 5: have a DJ, drinks, laid back vibes, it's a sunset
- 13:53Speaker 5: swim and it is a week from tomorrow, so yeah, yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 5: make plans for that. My god, that just sounds like
- 13:59Speaker 5: so much fun. Chow twenty fifth.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I guess that would be the Saturday Saturday. This is
- 14:06Speaker 1: twenty fifth. It is July twenty fifth, so I don't
- 14:08Speaker 1: know when worth more than a million?
- 14:11Speaker 4: Yes?
- 14:12Speaker 1: Friday?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Thanks?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Say? Is the twenty fifth that's next the next Saturday?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely check it out.
- 14:18Speaker 3: It's water World.
- 14:19Speaker 5: That's where you stay, you know, beat the heat for sure.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Shy in Frontier Day, So that starts tomorrow and that's
- 14:25Speaker 5: a big deal around here. We've got all kinds of
- 14:27Speaker 5: acts coming through. Alex Warren is starting things up there,
- 14:31Speaker 5: so he's gonna be alongside Noah.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Cyrus, I believe so yeah.
- 14:37Speaker 5: Blake Shelton, my guy, Riley Green also there, yes, yes, yes,
- 14:42Speaker 5: so across the ten days stand they're gonna have all
- 14:45Speaker 5: kinds of acts up there at chy in Frontier days.
- 14:47Speaker 1: But that is a fun, fun time.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Always wanted to go able to because you know, work
- 14:52Speaker 2: gets in the way. But you've never been able to
- 14:54Speaker 2: go to Shyne kids. I mean it's one of those
- 14:58Speaker 2: things where I'd want to could just me and Nick
- 15:00Speaker 2: Naco have fun or wait till.
- 15:02Speaker 1: They get a little older, so yeah, you know, do
- 15:05Speaker 1: their own thing up west.
- 15:08Speaker 2: We passed it heading out out of town and even
- 15:11Speaker 2: then it was like Nicknack was like, hey, we got
- 15:13Speaker 2: to go there someday.
- 15:14Speaker 1: You absolutely do well. Blake Shelton, Riley Green, this might
- 15:17Speaker 1: be a good time.
- 15:20Speaker 5: And I will simmer down because it is so day
- 15:22Speaker 5: hot and Boulder especially okay, so so hot. The pavement
- 15:27Speaker 5: is buckling on the roads as well as the bike paths.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I mean it's like a drawbridge going up. If you
- 15:32Speaker 1: see the pictures, it is.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Like you ever take that off any sweet.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Jumps, Like there's multiple spots in Boulder County that are
- 15:40Speaker 5: I want to go there I'll make a buddy lay
- 15:42Speaker 5: there on the other side on his back and I'll
- 15:44Speaker 5: jump him. It's not that I mean seriously, think of it.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Sidewink raised maybe six inches if that.
- 15:51Speaker 1: But the thing is they say that the pavement is
- 15:55Speaker 1: going to rise and then fall at night, it's gonna
- 15:58Speaker 1: go back down.
- 15:58Speaker 5: I won't do swee jumps at time, circol. But it's
- 16:01Speaker 5: still busted. Just so you know, like the pavement still busted.
- 16:04Speaker 5: If you come across a buckled pavement, hit up the
- 16:06Speaker 5: city a boulder, they're asking for a heads up.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I just say pedals, You're gonna call.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Your friend, You're gonna do sweet jumps pedal faster. Well,
- 16:13Speaker 1: there you go, there's Jamal.
- 16:16Speaker 2: You're up today this morning.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Jake Jay.
