- 3:02Nights tonight which I. Gave you, I gave you a warning.
- 3:06It's going to be a long night for you tonight.
- 3:08I don't know. You're going to have a lot to.
- 3:10Actually defend any of your points and you know, I'm one of
- 3:13those guys, man. So it's it's going to be an
- 3:16incredible night. I'm excited for the fans of the
- 3:19type of entertainment we're going to bring.
- 3:21We're covering some of my favorite sports.
- 3:23You know, you got NBA, you got UFC, you know, so it's going to
- 3:28be one of those nights for you, you know what I'm saying?
- 3:30We we ain't talking too much about baseball and too much
- 3:33about hockey. So it's going to be a long night
- 3:35for you tonight. It's going to be a long night
- 3:37for you because I'm going to come out with a lot of haymakers
- 3:42and knockout punches if you think I'm not ready for it,
- 3:45buddy. So I'm always ready for the
- 3:48attacks. I'm always ready for the abuse.
- 3:52And I will say this, no matter what you guys say to me tonight,
- 3:55I'm always going to have something back at you.
- 3:58So if you think for one second I'm going to sit here and my
- 4:02teeth are going to pop out of my mouth because they've already
- 4:04done twice. It's not happening tonight,
- 4:07buddy. So I'm just letting you know,
- 4:09get ready for a nice long night of torturing.
- 4:12I am. Going to.
- 4:13Torture people. I don't drink pre rock workouts,
- 4:16OK, I don't do that. I don't drink any of that crap.
- 4:19Well, guess you go ahead. Caffeine.
- 4:20No caffeine. No, no, no caffeine.
- 4:22So what you do? I, I drink a lot of water.
- 4:24I do, I believe in doing it the right way.
- 4:28I, I don't believe in the, I don't know, creatine, the
- 4:32steroids, I don't do that. Ladies and gentlemen, I do 3000
- 4:36push ups a week and I and this quaff stays on This quaff stays
- 4:40on my, my head because I don't do any of that stuff.
- 4:44That's why I have. What's the what's the peak stuff
- 4:46there? What do you mean water?
- 4:47Because water ain't peak. So what's the peak stuff you'd
- 4:49be drinking during the show? Oh, this.
- 4:51This is crystal light. That's all it is.
- 4:53It's not. Sugar, it's what gets you.
- 4:55Going and I don't know if it gets me going.
- 4:56It just gives me some taste. I need some taste of my water.
- 5:00I don't like just plain old water.
- 5:02So I have to, I have to drink something.
- 5:03By the way, for anybody that doesn't watch this show, I've
- 5:06been sugar free when it comes to drinks for 16 months.
- 5:11It's been 16 months I have not had a sugar drink so.
- 5:15Let's go, baby. Give him a Golf Club.
- 5:16Give everybody. Give him a golf.
- 5:18I have to get a golf. I mean this is this is there.
- 5:21It is perfect right there. I I mean Edward Scissorhands
- 5:26cleaning me up over there. That's not going to happen.
- 5:29If I see anybody with scissors, I'm getting the hell out of that
- 5:31chair. But I just so you know, I'm I'm
- 5:33allergic to novocaine. So when they do those things, I
- 5:36don't, I don't numb my mouth. I do it all naturally, baby.
- 5:40Everything is natural with this man, Everything's natural.
- 5:43Let's see your guys. Let's see your guys.
- 5:44What? Do you mean what do you want me
- 5:46to show? You.
- 5:46Your biceps, your triceps. Let's go.
- 5:48What? Do you mean my biceps and?
- 5:50My triceps OK. I, I love flexing.
- 5:54People need to see what I'm working with tonight, OK?
- 5:58If they want to see me what I'm working with, they can go to LA
- 6:00Fitness and they can see me work out.
- 6:02All right, OK. I, I sometimes post some of my
- 6:04stuff. I mean, the other day I did 130
- 6:08LB dumbbells. I, I, I can lift that.
- 6:10I, I, I'm very strong. So I do it 10 times too.
- 6:13It's not one time. I see a lot of guys when they
- 6:16work out, they just, if it's £300 or £400, they do it once.
- 6:20And I'm like, what's the point of doing it?
- 6:22If you're not doing it 10 times, you might as well not do it so.
- 6:26Next question, Yeah, I got a question.
- 6:28Is it gel or moose for the top? Nothing.
- 6:30This is nothing all natural. This is natural.
- 6:34This is just, you know, quaff is beautiful.
- 6:37Not even water, just wake. Up, no water.
- 6:39Wake up and go. It's just wake up and go.
- 6:41I have a hat. I'll probably put a hat on
- 6:43tonight. I always wear a hat, but tonight
- 6:45I just want to. I just want the quaff.
- 6:48And I'm wearing a yellow jersey. Mrs. Caitlin Clark, you know I
- 6:52love. Her finish her debut games.
- 6:53Yeah, well, I got to keep that. I got to keep that yellow out
- 6:57there a little, a little Blondie over here.
- 6:59I mean. I got to spring it on.
- 7:01I got to spring it on everybody over here.
- 7:03I have to show off this beautiful jersey and this quaff.
- 7:06It really makes it stick out. It points out like a, you know,
- 7:09a nice little zip. There it is.
- 7:11There's a flex. There it is.
- 7:12I look. Pretty good.
- 7:14Did I ever win a championship? I'm sorry.
- 7:16No, no. Lost back-to-back.
- 7:18They lost. They lost in the.
- 7:20Funds to LSU, once to South Carolina.
- 7:22That doesn't matter. Tough, tough, tough.
- 7:24It doesn't matter, man. It's she's beautiful and she
- 7:27knows how to win, baby. Beautiful.
- 7:28She's beautiful. What, she's better looking than
- 7:32half the girls in in no way. I mean, there's nothing to look
- 7:36at in the WNBA. There's nothing to look.
- 7:39At Le Clark. Beautiful.
- 7:40Why not? Why?
- 7:41Why don't? You just be a guy.
- 7:43Dude, every woman is beautiful in their own way.
- 7:46I mean. Their own way, and I swear.
- 7:48In their own way. That's right.
- 7:51You, you are a Reese fan. That's the only reason why you
- 7:54have something to say about it. That's.
- 7:56This is what I have to do. Angel Reese.
- 7:57Ladies and gentlemen, this guy is madly be in love with Angel
- 8:01Reese. Beautiful.
- 8:02Please. I can, I can run something and
- 8:05make it stick. I'm not doing it tonight.
- 8:07I think everybody's beautiful in their own way.
- 8:09Every woman is beautiful in their own way.
- 8:11So that's all I'm going to say. I'm not putting any woman down
- 8:14on this show tonight. I don't want to get myself in
- 8:16trouble. All right, The NBA lottery
- 8:19recap. The Wizards won the 2026 NBA
- 8:23draft lottery, the first time they've had the number one pick
- 8:28since drafting John Wall in two 1010, and we know what happened
- 8:31there. It It is also the first time
- 8:34since the Suns in 2018 that the team who actually had the worst
- 8:40record in the league got the number one pick.
- 8:42The Pacers and the Nets went into the draft with the same
- 8:45odds to get the number one pick as the Wizards, but the Nets
- 8:50fell to number six and the Pacers fell to #5 which meaning
- 8:55or it has mean that their pick goes to the Clippers.
- 8:58Because it was only protected if it was a top four pick.
- 9:02The Jazz, the Grizzlies, the Bulls were the teams that rose
- 9:06into the top five. The Jazz had the 4th best odds,
- 9:09while the Grizzlies were 6th and the Bulls were 9th.
- 9:14The Hawks pick acquired from the Pelicans will be the number 8,
- 9:20while defending champion Thunder have the number 12 pick acquired
- 9:24by the Clippers with the Wizards getting the number one pick.
- 9:27This is the third time in the last six years a team that
- 9:31traded for or traded away. Anthony Davis got the number one
- 9:37overall pick with the Pelicans getting it in 2019 and The
- 9:41Mavericks getting it last year. Well, a lot to get into with
- 9:46this because if you're an NBA fan, you wonder if the NBA
- 9:51should take a look at the NHL draft because to me, the what
- 9:56the NHL does it right. Gary Bettman has formed a way
- 10:00where you can see the stakes in the opportunities and how these
- 10:04lottery balls make a lot of sense and how you can draft
- 10:06these guys and, and, and, and have an opportunity to get the
- 10:09number one pick. Look at the Matthew Schaefer.
- 10:11The Islanders had the 10th chance, the 10th best team to to
- 10:16get the number one pick last year, and they went up from 10
- 10:19all the way to 1. Why?
- 10:20Because 2 numbers came out of the last three picks.
- 10:24And, and that is interesting when you watch the NBA, it
- 10:27bothers you if you're a Knick fan.
- 10:29How many times have the Knicks been so freaking bad, so
- 10:31freaking bad, Worst team in the NBA and then failed to get a top
- 10:35three pick. They get the 4th, they get the
- 10:365th. I mean, the Steph Curry story,
- 10:38everybody knows what happened there.
- 10:39They drafted some kid, Jordan Hill.
- 10:41The fact here is when you look at the game and you understand
- 10:44what the game brings to the table, everybody thought the
- 10:47Indiana Pacers was going to get lucky.
- 10:49They were going to get a top three pick and they're going to
- 10:51steal. They're going to steal maybe a
- 10:54camp boozer or one of these guys, Peterson, because they're
- 10:57going to they're not going #1 it, it looks like Debenzo.
- 11:01Debenzo is going to go #1 as everybody believed before the
- 11:05season started, the BYU kid because of his athletic ability.
- 11:08And did you see Debenzo's face when the Wizards got the number
- 11:12one pick? Did anybody see it on social
- 11:14media? Please, guys, go and look at his
- 11:17face when that name, that when the Wizard's name got pulled out
- 11:23of the draw in the top three, I'm telling you, he did not look
- 11:26happy. He did not.
- 11:28And he's going to an organization that has not
- 11:31developed players very, very well.
- 11:33They do have Anthony Davis there now.
- 11:34I don't know if Anthony Davis is going to stay there.
- 11:36He wants out. They still have Trey Young and
- 11:38they have two players that can build their team around.
- 11:41Here's the problem. You look at Utah and I can't
- 11:46stand Danny Ainge. I can't stand him.
- 11:50Anybody that knows me, I couldn't stand him with the
- 11:52Celtics. He always screwed the Knicks.
- 11:54Anybody that knows who Danny Ainge friggin is, you would
- 11:58understand that Danny Ainge is always get the guy that turns
- 12:04out to be the the steal of the draft.
- 12:06Think about it. He did it with Jayson Tatum.
- 12:08He stole that from the new the the New Jersey.
- 12:11I'm sorry, the Brooklyn Nets, because if we all know the Paul
- 12:14Pierce, the Kevin Garnett and the, you know, that that trade
- 12:18which was absolutely horrible, we all know that trade.
- 12:21And then we remember the the other guy, Jalen Brown.
- 12:26Remember that pick? Jalen Brown was another Nets
- 12:29pick that was stolen from the Nets.
- 12:33And, and this guy, he's a good drafter.
- 12:36He understands how to draft. Utah's sitting there.
- 12:38Peterson's going #2 he's going to go with the athletic kid.
- 12:41He's going to go with the guy that has the, the best upside.
- 12:44So everybody that thought Cam Boozer was going to go to one,
- 12:47one or two. And I thought Cam, I still think
- 12:49Cam Boozer is the best player in this draft.
- 12:51I do believe that. I think he needs to lose a
- 12:53little bit of weight. I, I've said that I've, I've
- 12:55gone on social media to say that I, I followed the Duke Blue
- 12:59Devils. He reminds and everybody I I was
- 13:01arguing with Q and fish the yesterday when we were doing our
- 13:06meeting and and everybody I said, who does he remind me of?
- 13:09So I did some research and the reason there's two guys that
- 13:14really stand out to me and I and actually there's four guys that
- 13:17really stand out to me and I'm going to tell you why they stand
- 13:19out to me. Paulo Ponchero and he's a guy
- 13:23that comes from Duke. He was a first round draft pick,
- 13:25has a tremendous ability. He's strong.
- 13:27He's a strong forward. He has a strong build.
- 13:29He can ball handle and he can shoot the three at a high level.
- 13:33So Punch Arrow is a guy. Jason Tatum is another one.
- 13:36Smooth scoring ability, advanced footwork at his age.
- 13:40I think he has some pieces of of Jayson Tatum, Carmelo Anthony,
- 13:44which I said and I argued about it, his mind and his post game,
- 13:48his scoring ability, com offensive style.
- 13:51I think he's going to be playing the four.
- 13:53Carmelo played his best game when he played the four and
- 13:56Chris Webber, the old school Chris, Chris Webber, his passing
- 14:00feel and his all around power forward game.
- 14:02Those four guys. Now Ponchero.
- 14:04Ponchero is the guy that I think makes a lot of sense when you
- 14:08look at his game and his ability.
- 14:11Bonchero, he's a little bit better than Bonchero.
- 14:13Bonchero is a guy that is going to give you 25 points a game.
- 14:16He's going to give you about 8 or 9 rebounds.
- 14:18I think he's a better rebound in the Bonchero.
- 14:19That's why I think he could be a double, double machine.
- 14:22The Bonza is a good player. I think he's athletically
- 14:24gifted. He could do a lot of things that
- 14:26everybody thinks. He's going to be an absolute
- 14:29killer on the basketball court. But is he going to do it with
- 14:32the Wizards? We've seen a lot of guys.
- 14:35We we know an organization that has had guys like Michael Jordan
- 14:38running it. Remember Kwame Brown?
- 14:40It didn't work out very well with Kwame Brown.
- 14:42I I don't know if that was the best place for him and Peterson.
- 14:47Now there are stories coming out that Peterson wasn't healthy and
- 14:50there was stuff going on that he he didn't get enough money as he
- 14:54was promised through the NILI don't know what the truth is.
- 14:57And he was arguing with the coach.
- 14:58He didn't want to play in the game.
- 14:59I don't know the whole story behind Peterson.
- 15:02These three guys are the best players in the draft.
- 15:05But I'm going to tell you this this the the secret of this
- 15:08draft is finding guys that you don't think are the top 3.
- 15:13And this is the guy. There are two guys that I like
- 15:15and and and and honestly like this spot right now for Kingston
- 15:20Flemings. All right, I like Kingston
- 15:22Flemings because he reminds me of Donovan Mitchell, a bigger
- 15:24size. Donovan Mitchell, if he gets and
- 15:27he figures out how to shoot the three in the NBA like Donovan
- 15:30Mitchell did, this guy's his upside, his game, his defensive
- 15:34game, his prowess defending multiple positions.
- 15:37This guy is a pole George type of player.
- 15:40He's that kind of player. He can defend those positions at
- 15:43a high level. He's big hands big, you know,
- 15:46with he's, he's a great, great player.
- 15:48Anybody that watches him, he is going to be an outstanding
- 15:51player. Keaton Waggler I, I'm not big
- 15:55with I, I, I'm not a big guy for when it comes to Keaton Waggler.
- 15:59I watched him play in the tournament.
- 16:00He's a good shooting guard. I don't know if I trust him.
- 16:02He comes from Illinois. I, I, I'm not a big fan of
- 16:05Keaton Waggler. They have him in the top 6.
- 16:08A cuff is a guy that everybody likes a little small on a
- 16:13smaller side for a point guard. He's 62, kind of like a Jalen
- 16:17Brunson type of guy. That's that's what a lot of
- 16:20people compare his skills to. I don't know if he's Jalen
- 16:23Brunson. I don't know if he has ice in
- 16:24his veins, but this kids got an amazing ability.
- 16:27We've seen him play for Arkansas.
- 16:29We we understand he was coached by a an NBA style of coach.
- 16:33So I I think Calipari knows how to coach guy.
- 16:36So I think a cuff is going to be.
- 16:38But the guy that I'm watching and I'm going to tell you guys
- 16:40right now, Caleb Wilson is the guy that I really, really like.
- 16:46He got, first of all, he didn't play in the tournament because
- 16:49he broke his finger and he was out for the whole tournament.
- 16:52North Carolina, obviously we know what happened to Huber
- 16:55Davis. He's gone.
- 16:56He's gone as, as a North Carolina fan would say, but I'm
- 17:00sure they love that. Caleb Wilson's offensive game is
- 17:05special. This guy has an inside game and
- 17:07outside game. He could do everything and he's
- 17:10a pretty good rebounder. He's long, he's lengthy.
- 17:13His defensive game needs to to get better.
- 17:15But his whole style of offensive game, this kid is special.
- 17:21And I think absolutely, if he goes to the Bulls in there, a
- 17:24lot of people believe that's where he's going.
- 17:26It's the Bulls. I, I think the Bulls got
- 17:29themselves a guy finally that they can compare.
- 17:31I, I he's not Rose. Obviously Rose is a point guard.
- 17:34He's the number one pick. He's not Michael Jordan, he's
- 17:37not Scottie Pippen. But he is a different beast.
- 17:40And I think he could, he could turn out to be the best
- 17:43offensive option in this draft. But in my opinion, the two
- 17:47athletically gifted guys are the Bonza and Peterson.
- 17:52But the guy to watch, and I think because of his up gaming,
- 17:55this guy was the best player in the country this year.
- 17:59And that's Cam Boozer, his father.
- 18:01He's a better player than his father is.
- 18:02And everybody says I'm crazy. These two guys, you have Q and
- 18:06you have Fish telling me, oh, you need to do.
- 18:08Yeah, you're definitely crazy. No, I'm not.
- 18:09I'm not he. Doesn't need to put away.
- 18:12He needs to drop away, just like Carmelo Anthony when Carmelo was
- 18:15playing at a high level at the at the four.
- 18:17He needs to drop at least 15 lbs, put on a little bit of
- 18:22muscle, and I think this kid is going to be a beast.
- 18:24A. Beast in the league?
- 18:26And he's a good. Defender, how would you put on
- 18:27most muscle? How would you drop weight and
- 18:29put on more? Actually, he's not all muscle.
- 18:32He definitely has muscle. He's a, he's a big guy, but he
- 18:35needs to drop a few pounds and he needs to put on more muscle.
- 18:39I think his. Heavier than fat, So why would
- 18:41you do that? Because I think in the game,
- 18:43especially what Carmelo Anthony had to do when when Carmelo
- 18:46Anthony came into the league, he was by the way, by the way, you
- 18:50can't say that he's not his game is.
- 18:52Is. I can guarantee you he's not.
- 18:54Well, that's fine. You can guarantee whatever you
- 18:56want. You don't know what he's going
- 18:58to transform into. And Carmelo Anthony's game.
- 19:00He's not Carmelo coming out of college.
- 19:02Dude, his mid post game is sensational.
- 19:04All right, you, you want do you watch basketball?
- 19:07You say you know ball. Do you watch Duke?
- 19:09Do you watch Duke? Do you watch Duke?
- 19:11You can say he is more than just talented.
- 19:14The guy has a great game and and yes, it is comparable.
- 19:17He's more comparable to Paulo Ponchero better Paulo Ponchero.
- 19:22But his game, everything that I named, I gave you the reasons
- 19:26why you can add a little little tab decent Tatum, a tab of
- 19:30Carmelo Anthony and a little bit of Chris Chris Webber.
- 19:33He has that ability. He can do that all those stuff
- 19:37on again, I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 19:39If if he goes, I, I don't like the Grizzlies for him.
- 19:43I don't I, I, I don't like the bands are going to Wizards.
- 19:47I, I, I, I don't like Washington for him.
- 19:49I'll tell you who's really in a good position.
- 19:51Darren Peterson. He's in a really good position
- 19:54because he's going to Utah and I'm going to tell you why it it
- 19:58all, all that's there now. And they have a, they have a
- 20:00rookie hockey team, they have a franchise there that's just
- 20:03being built. And, and really the most popular
- 20:06team right there is it's Utah. It's the Utah Jazz and they love
- 20:12their basketball. And it's in a city where he's
- 20:15not dealing with all the other crap.
- 20:16If he went to, let's say he went to New York or he went to Miami
- 20:19or LA, he doesn't have to deal with all that other stuff that
- 20:22he would probably have to deal with if he went to one of those
- 20:24big cities or Chicago. I think this is a perfect place
- 20:28for Darren Peterson. So for all the Peterson fans
- 20:30that said maybe just didn't he didn't have a good year or he
- 20:34didn't want to play, I think he's put in a really good
- 20:37position in a in a franchise that have players, they do, they
- 20:40have they have, they have a bunch of good players there and
- 20:45they have enough that they can build around him.
- 20:48Yeah, it's interesting because I think we look at Darren Peterson
- 20:50and him getting under the radar for a while when he was hurt.
- 20:53And then he was obviously in the controversy when he was either
- 20:56coming back healthy or obviously the comments to Bansa made
- 20:58where, oh, I got to play 40 games and Darren Peterson said
- 21:01get shot at him. But at the same time, like you
- 21:03look at something like Utah had to deal with that with Ace
- 21:06Bailey already last year, all the controversy he was going
- 21:09through why he was going to fall in the draft and you wonder if
- 21:11Utah's going to be able to manage that two in a row.
- 21:14Now. The fit I think is really good
- 21:15because Utah it has a lot of good front court players with
- 21:18with Kessler, with Lori marketing, but they have No 3
- 21:21point shooting whatsoever, like their their guard play is just
- 21:24horrible. So I think basketball wise,
- 21:25definitely Peterson will be making definitely the pick for
- 21:27them. I actually I actually like the
- 21:29boozer to Memphis pit fit basketball wise, because they
- 21:33they're another team that I think they're the opposite.
- 21:35They have a lot of good guards with how well Cams spancer
- 21:37played and and cows are even trading Desmond Bain and
- 21:40obviously what John Marant was going through.
- 21:42There's still a more guard oriented team and Edie was not
- 21:45100% healthy last year. So I think booze are going to
- 21:47get a lot of reps inside to grow his game kind of quicker in
- 21:52Memphis, where I I don't know if he would get the the reps the
- 21:54same way with the Wizards or because Anthony Davis is there
- 21:57or with. Utah.
- 21:58I never said I would rather him go to the Wizards or Utah.
- 22:00OK All right, So I don't like any of those teams For Cam, I
- 22:04would have rather him go to Chicago.
- 22:07I think he'd be great in a big city.
- 22:09And who was his father drafted by Chicago?
- 22:11The Chicago Bulls. So that you.
- 22:14Yeah, that's more like. That Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 22:16But you didn't know that, Mister Basketball fan.
- 22:18I. Guarantee.
- 22:19No, I said. That's more likely.
- 22:20I'm just saying. You didn't know that if I know
- 22:22what I'm not. I'm just saying you didn't know
- 22:23that. I'm giving you trying to help
- 22:25you out here. You're not helping me out.
- 22:26That makes more. That's probably the most sense
- 22:28you've made in your. No, it's not.
- 22:30It's not. Let's hear.
- 22:31Let's hear your take. I can't wait to hear this.
- 22:33I'm ready to. Throw off So AJ AJ will be going
- 22:37to Utah, as we already know and no, he's not.
- 22:40They're going to have one of those Hobie Luca trade lady diva
- 22:44never. Going to happen.
- 22:45Yeah, or the Tatum folks, whereas basically they they
- 22:47traded the picks that they draft and he would end up going to
- 22:51Utah first. Ricky Smith was which is the
- 22:53owner of the Utah Jacks has invested in AJ being to the Utah
- 22:58Jazz forever. I mean, he went in high school
- 23:00there. He went to BYU and everything
- 23:02has been set. Unfortunately, Washington got
- 23:05the first pick. So I'm sure that they're in
- 23:07conversations with the Utah Jazz right now about how they're
- 23:10going to make this happen. Player personnel.
- 23:12Obviously Utah is going to take AJ.
- 23:14I don't see anything shifting. They might not make it obvious
- 23:17in the draft, but they're definitely pick him or either
- 23:19have watching the people and then trader and throughout the
- 23:22draft and whatnot. But outside of that Washington
- 23:24wand and Washington has to be the most luckiest unlike teams
- 23:28ever, like they continue to get, you know, the number one draft
- 23:32pick for them to set up to do nothing.
- 23:34They've been failing for the last three or four years, not
- 23:37win a lot of games, always at the bottom of the barrel.
- 23:39Whatever you you know, whatever they get talent wise as it
- 23:42hasn't really made that they are dealing with identity crisis.
- 23:46They have a terrible structure program over there.
- 23:48They have a lot of talent, you know, a lot of first round
- 23:50talent over there, but it's going nowhere.
- 23:52So I think Utah gets Aji think Boozer fits well, probably with
- 23:58obviously people keep saying something about a Anthony Davis
- 24:01been there, but we've heard reports about Anthony Davis
- 24:04trying to be out. I think who's it would be but
- 24:05true big man, then he will by slashing ass type player, small
- 24:10Fort type guy. I don't think he would translate
- 24:12into the lead that way. Obviously.
- 24:14I think he also fit better east and the West.
- 24:18If he goes to the West to be able to be facing Joker win.
- 24:21Be nice read go bear that's going to stumble yeah that's
- 24:28going to stumble his his intro NBA that makes the best fit for
- 24:34him. Chicago probably was the team
- 24:36that won the trade being there, but they was able to go from the
- 24:39night to the 4th pick. I think Peterson probably fits
- 24:42well with them with them losing Kobe last year in the trade he
- 24:45got traded to Charlotte. So yeah Kobe white.
- 24:47So I think that he, you know, their piece probably be a good
- 24:50fit and kind of get back on the map.
- 24:52They're not going nowhere no time soon.
- 24:54So it'll be interesting to see who they as well.
- 24:56Right now, where The Mavericks are sitting, I like Braden
- 24:59Berry's. I like it a lot because Cooper
- 25:02Flag has been playing the point guard and Kyrie Irving is coming
- 25:05back this year. I think Kyrie's getting traded.
- 25:08I think before the season even starts, Kyrie is going to be on
- 25:12the move. The reason why is if LeBron
- 25:14James if LeBron James decides to go to the Cavs.
- 25:18Somebody gets traded. I'm telling what you're Listen,
- 25:21bonehead. Listen to what I'm.
- 25:23Saying. If LeBron decides to go to the
- 25:26Cavaliers, which a lot of people are predicting, he wants to
- 25:29finish his career in Ohio. That's what he's planning to do.
- 25:32That's what I've heard. Everybody says that Kyrie Irving
- 25:36makes a lot of sense to go to the Lakers.
- 25:38It makes a lot of sense to go and play over there with Luka
- 25:40Doncic and to go play over there with Reeves.
- 25:43Reeves going to get his extension.
- 25:44He's going to make $200 million. They will have money to bring in
- 25:48Kyrie Irving or maybe re sign him and they get themselves a
- 25:53pure point guard. They move Doncic to the shooting
- 25:56guard position or maybe even the three where he completely
- 25:58dominate over there at 3:00. It would make a lot of sense for
- 26:02the LA Lakers. I'm telling you right now.
- 26:04And he played so well with Luka Tonjik over there with the
- 26:07Dallas Mavericks. They went all the way to the
- 26:08finals. They did lose, but they they
- 26:12have that that chemistry. And I think it makes a lot of
- 26:15sense for the Lakers to make that move because the LeBron
- 26:17already said that he doesn't know if he's coming back next
- 26:20year. And if he does, a lot of people
- 26:22to his camp says he doesn't want to come back there.
- 26:25So I it makes a lot of sense why it would make some some kind of
- 26:30movement to Dallas. Going home.
- 26:33That's where everybody saying he's.
- 26:34Going to go to Cleveland. Well, I'll tell you why, because
- 26:38right now you have James Harden there and James Harden's going
- 26:41to be under contract there and you have Donovan Mitchell.
- 26:44You have players that you can build around and he's not going
- 26:48to be the one or the two or he he could be the three of the
- 26:51four and give you enough. LeBron proved this year that he
- 26:54can get you 19 points. He could get you probably 8
- 26:59assists, 7 assists and he could be the go to point guard, a
- 27:04point forward that takes the ball up and down the court.
- 27:06You don't have to worry about having Donovan Mitchell do that.
- 27:09You can play Donovan Mitchell in his pure spot at the two guard
- 27:13and and move James Harden either to the six off the bench, which
- 27:17I think they need. They need more offense off the
- 27:19bench or move him to the three where he can obviously play at a
- 27:24higher level at the number 3. So and they could play small
- 27:27because the end they have two bigs right there.
- 27:29You're laughing, but I know basketball.
- 27:31You don't. So you got so a 42 year old
- 27:33LeBron James? Running point he wants.
- 27:36Yeah, well, why not? What?
- 27:39Who do they have right now running the?
- 27:40Point what? What?
- 27:41Do you mean Donovan Mitchell? You're going to bet on Donovan
- 27:44Mitchell. Yes, 22.
- 27:45So you obviously didn't watch LeBron James this year?
- 27:48And he wasn't running at starting the point.
- 27:51No he wasn't because they had Luka Doncic and the ball was
- 27:53running to him. But when LeBron.
- 27:55Why do you want him now then? Why would you want him now when
- 27:58he got a 2 he got a day. It's not one.
- 28:03He's a fan favorite and he averaged 7.2 assists the game
- 28:07this year. He averaged 26 and seven.
- 28:10You're getting a much, You're still getting a much better
- 28:13player as a three or four guy as a player.
- 28:16Then you're getting anything you're getting right now.
- 28:18And, and yeah, and, and he, he does make the team better.
- 28:21He's a leader. He's won before.
- 28:23It makes a lot of sense. And he wants to go home.
- 28:26He is the king over there. He's from Akron and that's where
- 28:30I believe he's going. I there's no doubt in my mind
- 28:32he's going back to the Lakers. He's not going to Dallas because
- 28:35Dallas wants to stay young. They want to go young.
- 28:37They still are trying to get that casino there and Cooper
- 28:40Flag is the guy. They don't want somebody that's
- 28:42going to take the stardom away from him, and that's why Kyrie
- 28:45Irving is gone. And Kyrie Irving, the only place
- 28:48that makes sense that anybody can deal with him is Luka Doncic
- 28:50over there with the Lakers, and they have the money to do it.
- 28:53If LeBron to try to build up another.
- 28:55No, he's going there for one more year.
- 28:58He's going there for. One more year just to say
- 29:00goodbye. Yeah, it's a goodbye tour.
- 29:02Yeah, that's exactly where I think he's going.
- 29:04Yeah. You laugh all you want.
- 29:06You think LeBron paid the way he paid this year and then he's
- 29:08just going to hang it up next year?
- 29:10I do believe that that's what he's going to do.
- 29:13He's got one more year left. He's not.
- 29:16Obviously he opts out of that contract.
- 29:17He's not going to get that. The the Cleveland Cavaliers are
- 29:20going to have to give him a lesser contract.
- 29:22He will take less to go to Cleveland because he would like
- 29:24to go back home. You could say, Oh my God, all
- 29:26you want. That's what's going to happen.
- 29:29Where is he going then, buddy? Where is he going?
- 29:32He does not want to stay there, do you not?
- 29:35Are you not watching? You know him personally.
- 29:37Yeah, I know. I know what's going on over
- 29:38there. I don't mean that you know him.
- 29:40I don't have to know him. I don't have to know him.
- 29:43I know what I'm I'm reading and I know what the media is saying,
- 29:47I thought. You don't watch media, I thought
- 29:48you don't. What are you talking about?
- 29:50I write, do I not? Do I not write a story?
- 29:52Yeah. OK, So when you write a story,
- 29:54what do you do? Let me ask you a question.
- 29:56When you write a story, what do you do?
- 29:58Please give me some feedback. Evaluate whatever I'm.
- 30:01Writing. No, no, no.
- 30:01That's not what you do, everybody.
- 30:03What do you do first before you write?
- 30:05What do you do first before you write bud?
- 30:07Find the topic. No, that's not what you do when
- 30:10you first write. What do you do when you first
- 30:13write? If you don't have a topic, what
- 30:15is the point of writing? Because the topics are right out
- 30:18there. You you got to find a topic that
- 30:20that's. You said what are you doing the
- 30:22first thing you. Do the first thing you do is
- 30:25investigate what's going on in the league.
- 30:27If you want to talk about basketball, you want to talk
- 30:29about football, you want to talk about hockey, that's what you
- 30:32do. And then when you investigate,
- 30:34you form up, you form a story. That's how you do it.
- 30:38OK? And that's how I write a story.
- 30:40I look and I see what people are writing or what they're talking
- 30:44about on different sectors of the world, and then I attack it
- 30:48the way I want to attack it. So yes, if you're a fan and
- 30:51you're watching it, you understand what's going on in
- 30:53basketball, which you don't. Got to get back to the draft not
- 30:57on how to do research. I'll tell you how to do
- 31:00research. I'm a history teacher.
- 31:02Please. Actually you can guide your
- 31:03research. Please.
- 31:04Neither one of you are doing graduate level research.
- 31:08Could you stop? What you're teaching, Who cares
- 31:10about teaching? I'm talking about.
- 31:12Writing. I'm talking about.
- 31:13Writing Errol What? We do with it.
- 31:15You guys are being ridiculous. No one cares how you.
- 31:18Say how we both how is it how I break it?
- 31:20I wasn't brought up in this. How I get brought up in this
- 31:22Listen. Can we can we take a thumb up
- 31:24your ass or sit on it? And talk sports.
- 31:26Thanks. We talked about it.
- 31:28We talked about the lottery. We finished it.
- 31:30We did. You didn't even mention the
- 31:31biggest rumor. That should have been the top
- 31:33thing. What is Boozer's going to fall
- 31:35out of the top three? Boozer is likely.
- 31:38That. Out of the top three stupid way
- 31:40that Caleb Wilson is being talked about, I like.
- 31:43Caleb Wilson too, but. Caleb Wilson is being talked
- 31:46about as having a much higher ceiling because Boozer is not
- 31:50the athlete that the other three guys in the top three with.
- 31:54You include Wilson, who had the injuries this year is now Errol.
- 31:58I know you love Boozer. I know you love Boozer, but you
- 32:01have to remember these are GMs that are going to say I need the
- 32:04better athlete. These guys that what do they?
- 32:07What do the GM know? And this is Errol Mark.
- 32:10Yeah, I'm just saying in the draft, that's why they would go,
- 32:13you would go. Hey, hey.
- 32:14So if this is a good GM, I wouldn't trust.
- 32:16If you ever listen to this show, which a lot of people do, I've
- 32:20been pretty on with my draft picks on who I think is going to
- 32:23be good. And as far as I think at Carl,
- 32:26when I look at Carlos Boozer and I look at Cam Boozer, he is a
- 32:29much better player than his father.
- 32:30His father was a a career 16 point guy.
- 32:34This guy is a double double. And and I I got news for
- 32:37everybody. Let whoever Grizzlies decide to
- 32:40to part and and go with Caleb Wilson.
- 32:43I wish. I hope they do because if Cam
- 32:45Boozer goes to the the Bulls, I mean, this is a slam dunk for
- 32:49him. This is a good organization.
- 32:51Now that puts him in a place where he can be a leader there.
- 32:55He's the guy. He's the go to go.
- 32:57So, Errol, that's why I brought it up because, because.
- 33:00They are. They're a lot better than
- 33:01things. I don't think the bulls take
- 33:03him. I think they now have the most
- 33:06valuable asset that and they could have possibly expected to
- 33:10have if Boozer's on the table and they don't want Boozer for
- 33:13whatever reason. Stupid.
- 33:14They can get a lot for that pick and we've heard the name Giannis
- 33:20being floated around pre draft. He is not very far.
- 33:23No, no. I'm telling you, if the if the
- 33:25Bucks have him as one of the things and then you get to offer
- 33:28the 4th pick and Boozer's there, that deal is being made.
- 33:32There is no doubt that deal is being made.
- 33:33I don't think Yannis wants to go to the Chicago Bulls.
- 33:36I, I think the Knicks make more sense for Yannis than any team,
- 33:42but I don't think he's going to the Knicks, especially if the
- 33:45Knicks go to the Finals with this roster, they're gonna want
- 33:47to run it again, especially the way Karl Anthony Towns is
- 33:51playing. So I, I look at the, the, the
- 33:54possibilities where if he falls out of the top, whoever decides
- 33:58to do that, they're stupid. I'm just telling you, for all
- 34:02the people out there that think that this guy is not a top three
- 34:05favorite, this guy was the best player in the country this year.
- 34:08I, he led you left all you want. He, he did, dude, he lost, they
- 34:13lost all those pieces before, before the tournament happened.
- 34:17They lost two of their best players, which would have helped
- 34:20them win a championship. And they went down.
- 34:23They one of them came back. But he wasn't.
- 34:24He shouldn't have even played. He was a decoy.
- 34:26OK. And And he took his team.
- 34:28How how far did he take his team?
- 34:30So he took his team to an Elite Eight.
- 34:32Yeah. He took him.
- 34:33He took him far. I didn't think they were going
- 34:35to go that far. Eight years ago, everybody was
- 34:38wondering who this kid Cooper? Flag was eight years ago and.
- 34:41Cooper flag was and I said he was going to be a number one
- 34:43pick and I said don't watch. And everybody said, oh.
- 34:46He's no that was very hard. Cooper flag been no more hard
- 34:49well. What are you talking about?
- 34:50This guy was an eighth grader in Maine.
- 34:53All right, all right. I watched him actually,
- 34:56Massachusetts, if you really look at the background of him.
- 34:59And I watched him Speedy. What did I say?
- 35:01Am I lying to I? Didn't know that eight years
- 35:03ago. You told me about him in 2022
- 35:04though. Well, nobody did, sweetie.
- 35:08This little talk. I'm lying.
- 35:10I'm lying. That's six.
- 35:13That's four years ago. Five.
- 35:14He. Saw him back in Vietnam.
- 35:16No, it was great. Back in those days, no.
- 35:19I watched him play. I've been watching him play just
- 35:22like I've watched Camp Boozer play all the way from 7th and
- 35:248th grade. So I watched him and I, he, he
- 35:27actually grew 5 inches in in 10th grade.
- 35:30So I know all about the kid and, and I'm telling you right now,
- 35:33he's going to drop weight. He's going to get his, his
- 35:36nutrition, he's going to get the right people around him.
- 35:38He's going to be put in the right position to succeed.
- 35:41And I'm telling you he is going to be, if he's not, he doesn't
- 35:44win rookie of the year, he'll be runner up for rookie of the year
- 35:46this year. He's going to have.
- 35:48I mean, Errol, Dad was huge. We remember Dad was huge.
- 35:52He's bigger than his dad. Got news?
- 35:54No, no, no, no, I'm no, no, no, he's not.
- 35:57He's half his dad's side. Dad was huge, like yoked.
- 36:02He's not going to slim down that family.
- 36:04He's going to get built. He's going to become a bruiser.
- 36:07And he can move 10 to 15 and puts on £5 a month.
- 36:11I don't know, like if you want him to be a stretch 4, maybe he
- 36:14can do that. But if he gets jacked his game
- 36:17could be dominant in the NBA cuz he could shoot from outside and
- 36:20then he could dominate inside as an undersized big he.
- 36:23Could get Jack. I mean, I'm just saying.
- 36:25That did exactly. He don't need to get jacked.
- 36:29They said that about that too. He didn't need to do that, you
- 36:31know, like they did say that about him, but dad did do that.
- 36:35I just saying it would be he might be.
- 36:37Strong enough to play the position, he is the same.
- 36:39Just so you guys so all your. Fans.
- 36:41So all your fans know, when Carlos Boozer, when Carlos
- 36:45Boozer came into the league, Cam Boozer was bigger than him.
- 36:48And I have it right here. So wrong, wrong wrong.
- 36:50Carol, I'm not saying that. Cam Boozer is a bigger.
- 36:53Doing. And Jack, I think he stopped
- 36:57listening to us. Chats.
- 36:59What do? You guys just want to drive his
- 37:00point. He is more athletic than his dad
- 37:03is. What are you talking?
- 37:04You know what? You're not listening to what we
- 37:05said. You are an idiot.
- 37:07I said that he's going to get. Your ball finger.
- 37:10He's going to Why don't you lick Q's ass?
- 37:12Why don't you lick Q's ass? As opposed to an outside wing he
- 37:16keeps saying he's going to be. I know you say you're wrong.
- 37:21You're not even. Answering the question.
- 37:22Here's the here's the answer. You just said that his father
- 37:25was bigger than he was when he came into No, I didn't.
- 37:28What did you just you said he was bigger, you said he was
- 37:31bigger. Did you not say?
- 37:32Did he not say he was bigger? Did he not say he was bigger?
- 37:35Did he not say that that? Got huge, is what I said.
- 37:40He got huge. This is what I said.
- 37:42He needs to lose weight on the lower part of his.
- 37:45Body. I'm saying you're wrong.
- 37:46I disagree the opposite. I disagree.
- 37:49I disagree. What do you lose a weight for?
- 37:50What do you mean? What do you lose?
- 37:51A weight, that's something. You got to get.
- 37:54You got to get faster. You got to get faster.
- 37:57And one of the, one of the things about him that everybody
- 37:59keeps saying is is not as athletic as Peterson and, and
- 38:03Dabanza. If he loses a little bit of
- 38:05weight, a lose a little bit of fat because he I've seen him
- 38:08when he takes off his shirt, he's not, he's not what you
- 38:10call, you know, built or any of that stuff.
- 38:13He's got more fat than he does that he should have going into
- 38:16the NBA. He is going to have a
- 38:17nutritionist. He's going to lose weight.
- 38:19That's what's going to happen. And then he's going to get
- 38:22bigger. I'm just telling you right now.
- 38:23I'm telling you right now. That's what I say.
- 38:26And, and as far as I'm concerned, Carlos Boozer, when
- 38:29he came into the league, he was not as big as as his son.
- 38:33He he wasn't because he was a second round pick and he was a
- 38:36little shorter than his son, but and that was why he was.
- 38:38Taller. He was taller than his son by
- 38:40the. Way no way.
- 38:41I thought he had really long arms and like had that shot
- 38:44where he shot like vertically over his head because he was
- 38:47they're. Honestly, they're honestly the
- 38:49same size by the way, so I. Well, he was an undersized
- 38:52forward in the league. They're the same big.
- 38:54Making my point. Bigoted is dead or he.
- 38:56Died. They're the same size.
- 38:57They're the. Same.
- 38:58Size. Like an inch?
- 38:59They're the same size. They're 69, both of them 6. 9 I
- 39:02don't think I don't think Harless Boozer was 6. 9, He's
- 39:0569. Go look at go look at basketball
- 39:08reference. He's 6-9 and that's where I'm
- 39:11looking and they're both 69. And Carlos right now.
- 39:15When he, when he was at his highest rate, he did gain 8 lbs.
- 39:19But he also when he went to Utah, he put on more, more
- 39:22weight. When he was when he was drafted
- 39:24by the Bulls, he was light. They said he was light.
- 39:28Yes and then he became a gym rat and became a bully ball power
- 39:33forward and made All Star games playing that way.
- 39:36Thank you. We.
- 39:37Saw we saw Cam play that way in college.
- 39:40Cam is much better than his father was coming out of the
- 39:42draft, of course. Of course he is.
- 39:45So all right. I'm just saying he's going to
- 39:47develop a game more like that. So so you.
- 39:51Know Wing that you want him to be.
- 39:53So you know Boozers career he paid 861 games this Carlos
- 39:58Boozer 16 points, 9 rebounds and two assists.
- 40:01Cam Boozer is better if you can get 2223 points right now on a
- 40:06bid and give you 10 or 11 rebounds and he's a good passer.
- 40:107 assists, that's a pretty good player.
- 40:12That's a top end player in the league as a power forwarder.
- 40:15He hasn't played the NBA game yet.
- 40:17I'm telling you right now, he's going to be great.
- 40:19So watch out. Watch.
- 40:20Out. I think he got potential.
- 40:22I think if you don't get to the right system, he's not going to
- 40:24be great. I don't think he'll be great if
- 40:26you make him into a wing. I think he'll be great if you
- 40:28make him into a power forward. That's what he needs.
- 40:31To do disagree, well, he is going to be a power forward.
- 40:33He is going to be a power forward, I said.
- 40:34It you keep saying it's gonna be 4.
- 40:36Losing weight for What do you losing weight for?
- 40:38Carmelo. And again, I'm going to go to
- 40:40Carmelo. And Carmelo Anthony was.
- 40:41Anthony is not a power forward. He's not a.
- 40:43Power Hold on one second. When he Carmelo Anthony had his
- 40:47best year with the Knicks, when the Knicks won 54 games, he lost
- 40:51weight. Speedy.
- 40:51Do you remember that? I think everybody remembers
- 40:53that. He lost about 15.
- 40:55Pounds we saw all the videos of him wearing.
- 40:58A power forward, though, he. Played his best game when he was
- 41:02moved to power forward, when he was over there, when it, when
- 41:05Phillips came there, when Phillips went over there, when
- 41:07Iverson was traded to Detroit, what did they play?
- 41:10Carmelo Anthony as they played him out of four and and what how
- 41:14far did they get? They went to the Western
- 41:15Conference finals. So you you sit here and you say
- 41:18no, no, no, no. Carmelo Anthony's best years was
- 41:20playing at the four. He was not a three.
- 41:23He was a better 4 because guys couldn't keep up with him and he
- 41:26lost weight when he played the four.
- 41:28So say whatever you want. You think I don't know what I'm
- 41:31talking about? I do.
- 41:33I watch basketball religiously and I know these guys well.
- 41:36So you're wrong about that. Melo did not take the Knicks to
- 41:39the Eastern Conference finals. Ever.
- 41:41I never got I. Didn't say that.
- 41:42I didn't say Melo. I said Billups.
- 41:45I went Denver. They went to the Western
- 41:46Conference finals. What do you They won 54 games
- 41:49and they lost it to Indiana in the second round.
- 41:52Don't tell me what I don't know. He lost in the second round and
- 41:55Miami went to the the finals. They went to the Eastern
- 41:58Conference finals in Los, Indiana.
- 42:00They he took them playing the four in the playoffs to the
- 42:04Western Conference finals. Yes, he did.
- 42:07So shut the F up. Yes, he did.
- 42:10So stop. Stop telling me.
- 42:11Stop it. No, he played four.
- 42:13He played the four. He played in Denver.
- 42:15He played 42. Yes, he did.
- 42:17Yes, he did. Yes, he did.
- 42:19Yes, he did. I want to move on.
- 42:20Dude, you're pissing me off. I've.
- 42:23Been trying to get you to move on.
- 42:24Move on, you're pissing me off. I think you're out of your damn.
- 42:27Let's move on the. Truth hurts.
- 42:29Like Lizo said, I understand. Lizo, I'm going to, I'm going to
- 42:32give you a good swift kick in the ass.
- 42:33I'm going to give you a Lizo kick.
- 42:35All right, let's call your shot. I'm not an X's and O's guy,
- 42:39right? I'm not a tactician.
- 42:41I'm a motivator in the classic sense of the word.
- 42:43You know, Lombardi, Charles Lindbergh, that nun over in
- 42:45India, like those people call your shot.
- 42:50I got to sit here and listen to bunch of boneheads.
- 42:52That's what I got to do. Guys that are out of there,
- 42:54Demi. Primarily played small forward
- 42:57during his tenure with the Nuggets.
- 42:58Yeah, primarily it makes thoroughly when they went to the
- 43:05Western Cup, Dude, what do you do?
- 43:07You going to sit there and laugh all the time?
- 43:08Is that what you do? Kenyon Martin and they they
- 43:11Kenyon. Morton, just so you know about
- 43:13Kenyon Morton. Kenyon Morton at that tail end,
- 43:16Kenya Morton was not a player anymore.
- 43:18He wasn't good anymore. When he went over there.
- 43:20He was not good. He was a washed up player.
- 43:22Yes. He was great with the Nets.
- 43:24He was washed up, dude. He was washed up.
- 43:27You don't know what you're talking about.
- 43:28You don't know what you're. No, I'm not.
- 43:30You don't know what you're talking about.
- 43:31I I know Kenyon Martin. We are.
- 43:33We're looking at the Finals roster, what it means.
- 43:37Western couple? Yes, he did.
- 43:38Gave you the two people who was. Yes, he did they.
- 43:41Wrote what has to come to it because you're.
- 43:43Wrong. My God.
- 43:43Oh my God. I'm not wrong.
- 43:45I'm not wrong. I'm not wrong.
- 43:47I'm not wrong. I watched the games, dude.
- 43:49Everybody else, I watched the games.
- 43:51I actually watched the games. You don't even know your own
- 43:53team. You don't even know the best.
- 43:55Players on your team forward. Dude I know that, but just why?
- 43:59You can't get it right because you won't tell that dude.
- 44:01Go to dude. You really don't know.
- 44:03You don't really know what you're talking about.
- 44:06You really don't know what. You're talking with, okay?
- 44:07Dude, you don't know what you're talking.
- 44:09Dude. You're wrong.
- 44:10You're wrong. When?
- 44:12When Carmelo. Anthony, everybody's.
- 44:13Wrong. No, I'm telling you you're
- 44:15wrong. Yes.
- 44:16Google. Wrong.
- 44:18I'm telling you you're wrong, dude.
- 44:20What? About his role, except for Earl,
- 44:22how does that? Work I first of all, I never say
- 44:25Carmelo Anthony played the four his whole career.
- 44:27I said he played the four. I said he played the four.
- 44:31When they went to the Western Conference Finals, they used him
- 44:33as a four. And and by the way, that year
- 44:37when they won 54 games, the Knicks, they moved him to the
- 44:40four spot. He dropped 15 lbs and they moved
- 44:42them to the four. And if you think I don't know
- 44:44what I'm talking about, go look, dude.
- 44:46And when I'm right, you're going to be wrong again, because you
- 44:50don't know what you're talking about, all right?
- 44:52Let's go. You only see your.
- 44:54Dude, I'm just telling you the truth.
- 44:55You're wrong. You're wrong.
- 44:56That is rogue. Dude, you're wrong.
- 44:58I don't want to talk about anymore.
- 45:00You're pissed. Let's not talk.
- 45:04At all anymore, you're letting it off your time you.
- 45:06Look it up. I know my team, I know my team.
- 45:08Your shot. I know my team, reference the
- 45:10team. I know my team, dude.
- 45:11You don't. You don't know the Knicks.
- 45:13I do. You ever?
- 45:14It's your team now, dude. I promise you go look it up.
- 45:18I promise you go look it up. You could open your mouth again.
- 45:23He played the four when they went over there.
- 45:27They switched it off When? I give him a possession or two.
- 45:30Whatever, you're wrong. They're wrong anyways.
- 45:33Do you? Hey, let me ask you a question.
- 45:35Do you know who Denver's coach was when they when they went to
- 45:38the Western Conference? Finals we are.
- 45:40Do you know big mouth? Do you know?
- 45:43Do you know big mouth? Do you know?
- 45:45Do you know, do you know? Yeah, open your mouth.
- 45:48Open your mouth. Open your mouth, Open your
- 45:51mouth. No, he does not.
- 45:53Ladies, ladies and gentlemen do. You know who invented
- 45:56basketball? I'm just no.
- 45:57Do you know? I'm asking you if you know, you
- 45:59don't know. That's all I got to say.
- 46:01Anyways, call your shot. So if anybody doesn't know this
- 46:04game, it's very simple. We're going to give you a story
- 46:07that we think is going to happen in the sports world, and we're
- 46:11going to call it and we're going to see if it actually happens.
- 46:14All right, tonight we're going to go with Fish.
- 46:18Q Speedy me? All right.
- 46:21Let's start off. Call your shot, Errol.
- 46:22Pretty sure that was George Karl on that one.
- 46:25It is George Karl, but he didn't know that he.
- 46:28Probably going to say you were wrong too.
- 46:30He got fired mid season. He coached him for like 5 years
- 46:35or something at the. Start, I know, but he'll say
- 46:37something like he got. Fired.
- 46:39He hates George Karl. To this day, which is famous
- 46:42about that, but that's why he got traded.
- 46:45Call your shot, Errol. You're going to love this one.
- 46:47I'm going to tell you who the National League MVP is and it's
- 46:51not Shohei Otani this year. Yeah, Shohei Otani 2 years in a
- 46:56row NLMVP. He is the betting favorite right
- 46:59now in Vegas for the MVP, but not by as much as he was in
- 47:04previous seasons, in large part due to the fact he's not hitting
- 47:08all that well. He's only hitting about 2:40
- 47:09right now. He's only.
- 47:11I think he only has about seven home runs and five stolen bases.
- 47:14His batting average is not that great.
- 47:16Now he's pitching. He might be the best pitcher in
- 47:18the league currently. Now you would assume he's going
- 47:20to regress a little bit from a .9 ERA and striking everybody
- 47:24out. But if he gets hurt at all,
- 47:28which again, you're putting yourself out there as a pitcher
- 47:31and a hitter, you're at risk for injury.
- 47:33Who's next on that list? Well, I would argue the next guy
- 47:37on that list is someone who, if he has a few more years like the
- 47:40one he has right now, will be over 400 home runs, will have a
- 47:44lot of stats that say you should be a Hall of Fame eligible type
- 47:47guy. His name's Matt Olson and he's
- 47:50quietly put together an incredible season.
- 47:53Right now. He's going to, he's leading the
- 47:55National League in home runs. He's hitting around 300.
- 47:58He's had a couple of tough years with health.
- 48:00That Braves team from hell last year, he fought through a lot of
- 48:03it. This guy is ready to explode.
- 48:06If you want to make some money right now, you can get him for
- 48:08as much at some places at plus 1500 for National League MVP as
- 48:14low right now. Some people are catching on to
- 48:15Olson +800. If you can get over plus 1000 on
- 48:19him, that is a wonderful future bet for National League MVP.
- 48:24Is going to go out, he's going to have an incredible game and
- 48:27this is going to start the run that he's about to go on to win
- 48:31the first, first NBA championship, NB, the Finals
- 48:35MVP. So I want to call my shot on San
- 48:38Antonio Spurs winning the NBA championship led by Victor
- 48:44Wimbiama. There you have it.
- 48:48So I'm going to go to the West, but in a different sport.
- 48:50I'm going to go to hockey if this team, the Minnesota Wild,
- 48:55do not win the Western Conference.
- 48:57I had them winning. But if they don't, they will be
- 49:01the team this offseason that trades for Austin Matthews.
- 49:05Lots of young talent on that team.
- 49:07I don't think you'll have to trade Matt Boldy, but Faber
- 49:10maybe you would have to consider in that deal.
- 49:11Maybe Philip Gustafson, their other young goalie goes in that
- 49:14deal and a couple of draft picks.
- 49:15I, I don't think he's gonna get traded before the draft like a
- 49:17lot of people think. Austin Matthews trying to force
- 49:19his way out and now. But I do think if they do not
- 49:22win the West this year, the Minnesota Wild along along with
- 49:25Capri, Solvent, Boldy and those guys, those Team USA guys will
- 49:28make the trade for Austin at Matthews.
- 49:34All right, who am I? Am I the last one?
- 49:37You are the last one. All right, so I'm going to go,
- 49:40I'm going to go with the Houston Texans.
- 49:42I think the Houston Texans, a lot of people are looking at
- 49:45their offseason. It hasn't been good.
- 49:46They did sign their own players. This is a big year for CJ
- 49:49Strout, a huge year for CJ Strout.
- 49:52And if he doesn't produce, they're, they're going to be
- 49:54looking for a new quarterback. I think he's going to produce
- 49:57this year. He won 12 games last year.
- 49:59I think they're going to win about 12 or 13 games this year.
- 50:02I, and I, I think they win the division this year.
- 50:04I, I do. And I think they're going to go
- 50:06all the way, all the way to the AFC title game.
- 50:09I, I think they're going to explode this year.
- 50:10I think they're going to have a really, really good season.
- 50:13We're going to see some things that we didn't see last year
- 50:15with CJ Strout in the first half, the second-half he took
- 50:19over. He played well.
- 50:20He kind of didn't show up in the play offs and that cost the
- 50:23Texans, especially against New England because of the snow.
- 50:26I think going into the season, the football season, the Houston
- 50:30Texans not going to be surprised if they go to the AFC title game
- 50:34this year with that defense, one of the best defenses in the NFL,
- 50:38two of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
- 50:41So I I love Houston. You can shut the music.
- 50:45I love Houston this year. I don't know, a lot of people
- 50:47have been really attacking their offseason and CJ Stroud, he's
- 50:52not there. He's not that he's he can't win
- 50:54the big game. I think this year it's some of
- 50:57the things that he said and I seen some of his training.
- 50:59He lost a lot of weight this offseason.
- 51:02Heard he lost about 15 lbs. He's been doing a lot of
- 51:05regiment eating, eating differently and really trusting
- 51:09in in God and all that other stuff.
- 51:11I've seen so many different things about him and I, I, I'm
- 51:14going to believe that this is going to be a big year for CJ
- 51:16Stroud. I, I don't think he wins an MVP,
- 51:18but this is a guy at a high level.
- 51:21We haven't seen a quarterback have a rookie season like like
- 51:24he had in his in his first year. And I think this year, it's been
- 51:27a couple of years since then. And I, I think this year is
- 51:30going to be a good year for him. I think he's going to show up
- 51:32and, and they're going to play at a high level with that
- 51:34defense. So that's what I'm calling.
- 51:35Thank you to all the fans, me yelling and screaming and trying
- 51:40to laugh over the giggles and and try to get people rolling on
- 51:44the show. Thank you to all the new fans
- 51:45that have tuned into our show on TikTok and Instagram.
- 51:50Thank you to Sam. I know Sam's been in and out
- 51:52tonight. So thank you to him for all the
- 51:54work that he's doing on the back end.
- 51:56Thank you to Nathan. Thank you to all the YouTube
- 51:58fans and, and, and thank you to Zach for you know, helping us
- 52:00out on the as far as the back end of the YouTube channel and
- 52:05thank you to all the Spotify and Apple fans for keeping us up in
- 52:08the top 100 on the video and audio.
- 52:11Thank you very much, sweetie. Who do we have on Thursday?
- 52:13All right. Joining is at 8:20 is former NBA
- 52:16center Greg Oden and also his director Richie Comptum.
- 52:20I'll get that pronunciation from Nathan.
- 52:21It's one of his guys. They both will be joining at the
- 52:24same time. Yeah, I've never interviewed
- 52:26Greg Oden. A lot of people think he's one
- 52:29of the biggest busts in NBA history, but that's because of
- 52:32injury. Unfortunately.
- 52:34He had a really bad foot problem when he came into the NBA.
- 52:37If anybody knows the story. So love to hear what Greg Owen
- 52:40is doing. I guess he's doing a documentary
- 52:42or a movie. So interesting.
- 52:45Greg is a guy that I'm, I'm rooting for.
- 52:47I know he's had a rough, rough 10 years as we all know.
- 52:52But I'm interested to hear what he has to say about his his, his
- 52:57past and and now his future. Anyways, so that'll be Thursday
- 53:01for all the fans that don't know we are alive.
- 53:03Every single Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM.
