- 1:22Speaker 4: wherever you're watching and or listening. Special guest joining us
- 1:25Speaker 4: right now. I have so many great friends. at the
- 1:28Speaker 4: Heritage Foundation. On my morning show, almost every day of
- 1:31Speaker 4: the week, we have at least one or a couple
- 1:34Speaker 4: of weeks, no matter what. And they're always such a
- 1:37Speaker 4: wealth of knowledge. So we're bringing on this afternoon slash evening,
- 1:41Speaker 4: Nina Schaefer. She is well known as a champion of
- 1:44Speaker 4: patient choice and a robust competition in the American healthcare
- 1:48Speaker 4: and insurance markets. Nina, thank you for carving out some
- 1:51Speaker 4: time here on this Monday night to be with us.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I appreciate it.
- 1:54Speaker 5: No, thanks so much for having me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: So you wrote an op-ed. It's fascinating.
- 1:58Speaker 4: And I'm going to just jump right into the deep
- 1:59Speaker 4: end because I think me and you are on the
- 2:01Speaker 4: same page here. But your op-ed highlights provisions of Social Security,
- 2:06Speaker 4: reduce the federal match rate, emergency Medicaid service, essentially. But
- 2:11Speaker 4: I guess the question I want to ask, a simple
- 2:13Speaker 4: question to start us off, is if you take away,
- 2:17Speaker 4: quote unquote, the Medicaid for illegals policy, Aren't they just
- 2:23Speaker 4: going to show up at the hospitals anyway?
- 2:25Speaker 1: How does that work?
- 2:28Speaker 5: Well, the question is that the federal taxpayers have to
- 2:30Speaker 5: fund that. So, of course, they're going to show up
- 2:32Speaker 5: at hospitals and hospitals will treat them. But federal taxpayers
- 2:35Speaker 5: are not going to enroll them into government health insurance.
- 2:38Speaker 5: And that's what's at the core. Democrats, what they are
- 2:40Speaker 5: asking for in this shutdown is totally unreasonable and way
- 2:44Speaker 5: off target. Not only do they want to roll back
- 2:47Speaker 5: all the great work that Congress did and the president
- 2:49Speaker 5: signed into law, the one big, beautiful bill that was
- 2:52Speaker 5: focused explicitly on reducing fraud, waste and abuse in the
- 2:56Speaker 5: Medicaid program. so that the program is there for those
- 2:59Speaker 5: people who it's intended for, not for those who are
- 3:02Speaker 5: not eligible for the program, including illegals. They also want
- 3:07Speaker 5: to make COVID-era health subsidies permanent. These were a response
- 3:14Speaker 5: to when COVID broke out, people were losing their jobs.
- 3:17Speaker 5: They needed help to pay for their health insurance premiums.
- 3:20Speaker 5: And they stepped in and the Biden administration said, we'll
- 3:23Speaker 5: give you some temporary assistance. That temporary assistance got extended
- 3:28Speaker 5: in the Inflation Reduction Act. That should have been a
- 3:30Speaker 5: warning sign for all of us that their intention is
- 3:33Speaker 5: not to have them temporary, but to make them permanent.
- 3:36Speaker 5: And now they're asking federal taxpayers to pick up the
- 3:38Speaker 5: tab for $ 360 billion over 10 years to keep those
- 3:43Speaker 5: subsidies in place. The worst part about it is those
- 3:47Speaker 5: subsidies don't really do anything to get at the root
- 3:50Speaker 5: causes of what the mess of Obamacare has created. And
- 3:53Speaker 5: that's why I think it's right for Congress to find
- 3:55Speaker 5: ways of looking for reforms to fixing what's wrong with it,
- 3:59Speaker 5: not just papering it over with more taxpayer money.
- 4:02Speaker 4: So when you hear progressive slash Dems talk about this,
- 4:05Speaker 4: they swear that there are no illegal aliens who are
- 4:08Speaker 4: signed up for any health care programs in this country.
- 4:12Speaker 1: What do you say to that?
- 4:14Speaker 5: Look, the Biden administration made all sorts of loopholes when
- 4:17Speaker 5: they brought in, you know, millions of illegals coming across
- 4:20Speaker 5: the border.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And by making those changes.
- 4:22Speaker 5: To how they're defined or characterized when they come into
- 4:25Speaker 5: the country sets off a whole kind of wave of
- 4:28Speaker 5: benefits that they're available for. So it is not true
- 4:32Speaker 5: that they don't get benefits. And actually, the large loopholes
- 4:36Speaker 5: that the Biden administration put in place is exactly what
- 4:38Speaker 5: Congress tried to stop and started to claw back in
- 4:42Speaker 5: the one big, beautiful bill, really tightening up the rules
- 4:45Speaker 5: again so that we can get only those people who
- 4:47Speaker 5: deserve to be on the Medicaid program on the Medicaid program.
- 4:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:52Speaker 1: So what do we do now? We obviously have a problem.
- 4:54Speaker 4: We have at least 15 million illegal aliens who have
- 4:58Speaker 4: come in over the last four years. Right. So they
- 5:01Speaker 4: you know, they stumble, they bumble, they break a leg,
- 5:03Speaker 4: they break a foot. They you know, they have to
- 5:06Speaker 4: go to the emergency room. And that burden is still
- 5:10Speaker 4: going to be on the backs of the American taxpayer,
- 5:12Speaker 4: even now, right?
- 5:14Speaker 5: Well, that is the problem. I think that's why also
- 5:16Speaker 5: what the Trump administration has done to start saying we
- 5:19Speaker 5: can't have this, the floods of illegals, our country can't
- 5:22Speaker 5: support these numbers of people coming. That's really step one.
- 5:27Speaker 5: And I would just say there's a lot of reform
- 5:29Speaker 5: we need within the health care system and how we
- 5:31Speaker 5: finance health care so that we're keeping track and we're
- 5:34Speaker 5: holding these institutions that provide care accountable for what they're
- 5:38Speaker 5: doing and who they're giving care to.
- 5:40Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:40Speaker 4: So what just for like short term for now, while
- 5:44Speaker 4: we do have all these people and we're trying to,
- 5:46Speaker 4: you know, in particular, remove the criminal element and eventually
- 5:50Speaker 4: deport folks who should be deported. Is there something that
- 5:54Speaker 4: we can do to combat the incredible high cost of
- 5:57Speaker 4: what it actually cost American taxpayers to fund illegal aliens
- 6:01Speaker 4: who go into emergency rooms and get care?
- 6:04Speaker 5: Well, certainly, I think we need to, first of all,
- 6:07Speaker 5: make sure that we're documenting those people and where they're
- 6:10Speaker 5: getting the care. I know that in Florida, for example,
- 6:12Speaker 5: there were efforts to start figuring out where illegals were
- 6:15Speaker 5: getting the care. And let's focus on identifying who these
- 6:20Speaker 5: people are and making sure that we're keeping track and
- 6:23Speaker 5: we're actually documenting the funding that's going to them.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Aside from the illegals, I mean, you've done extensive research
- 6:30Speaker 4: in this. How much Medicaid fraud is, I mean, just
- 6:33Speaker 4: general fraud, people out there either.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Claiming to be one thing when in fact they are not.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Is that happening a lot?
- 6:41Speaker 5: It is, but it's not just the individual. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 5: I sometimes don't blame the individual. It's sometimes the people
- 6:47Speaker 5: who are providing the services where the real fraud is. So,
- 6:51Speaker 5: you know, an individual is one person who might try
- 6:54Speaker 5: to claim that they're not getting benefits in one state,
- 6:57Speaker 5: and then they go to another state and they claim
- 6:59Speaker 5: benefits to try to maximize. But really, the way the
- 7:02Speaker 5: Medicaid program works, it's reimbursing the people who are providing
- 7:05Speaker 5: the services. So hospitals and clinics, Even health care providers, doctors,
- 7:11Speaker 5: you know, there is a lot of fraud going on
- 7:14Speaker 5: in the health care system overall. And again, I just
- 7:16Speaker 5: echo what the Democrats want to do to roll back
- 7:19Speaker 5: all the great changes in the one big, beautiful bill
- 7:22Speaker 5: would do away with all the tightening of the existing
- 7:25Speaker 5: rules that are on there. The CBO estimates that over
- 7:28Speaker 5: one hundred and sixty billion dollars over 10 years would
- 7:31Speaker 5: be lost if we roll back those provisions. That shows
- 7:34Speaker 5: you the amount of fraud, waste and abuse that's in
- 7:36Speaker 5: the Medicaid system and why we need to keep those
- 7:38Speaker 5: in place.
- 7:39Speaker 4: So right now it's the Democrats who are balking at
- 7:43Speaker 4: any continued resolution. And essentially, what is it that they
- 7:47Speaker 4: are trying to hold on to in basic form?
- 7:52Speaker 1: What is it that they want?
- 7:54Speaker 5: Really want to do two things. They want to roll
- 7:56Speaker 5: back the one big beautiful bill and all the fraud,
- 7:59Speaker 5: waste and abuse provisions that were put in there, including
- 8:02Speaker 5: those that were targeting illegal immigration. And then they want
- 8:06Speaker 5: to keep COVID-era subsidies in place and make them permanent.
- 8:11Speaker 5: This is just another shell game of trying to tell
- 8:14Speaker 5: the American people that all is great. Really, what's happening
- 8:17Speaker 5: is Obamacare is cratering. Premiums continue to skyrocket. Deductibles are
- 8:22Speaker 5: higher than they've ever been. We have networks that are tighter.
- 8:26Speaker 5: People can't see the doctors they want. And they have
- 8:29Speaker 5: fewer choices, so they don't even have an option if
- 8:31Speaker 5: they want to move outside.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Of the system.
- 8:33Speaker 5: That's in what the Democrats are trying to say is
- 8:36Speaker 5: we will just we want to keep funding Obamacare as is.
- 8:39Speaker 5: And we're just going to pretend like everything is great.
- 8:42Speaker 5: It's not. And I think that it's right that many
- 8:44Speaker 5: in Congress in particular, I've heard many of the in
- 8:49Speaker 5: leadership and House and Senate leadership saying, look, we're willing
- 8:52Speaker 5: to talk about reforms to Obamacare, but you don't hold
- 8:55Speaker 5: the government hostage, keeping the government open for having those discussions.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Those are not simple solutions of just throwing more money.
- 9:02Speaker 5: We need to get at the root causes of what's
- 9:04Speaker 5: happening in Obamacare. And the Democrats need to make sure
- 9:07Speaker 5: that they're willing to reopen that bill and make the
- 9:09Speaker 5: changes that are necessary.
- 9:11Speaker 4: From the Heritage Foundation, we're talking with Nina Schaefer. Can
- 9:14Speaker 4: you please tell me, in your opinion, why Democrats are
- 9:18Speaker 4: never for patient choice? Why are they always balking? They're
- 9:22Speaker 4: against school choice. They're against patient choice. What's behind that?
- 9:26Speaker 5: Look, you know, I think we learned a lot during COVID.
- 9:29Speaker 5: And I think the American people's eyes were open when
- 9:32Speaker 5: they saw what happens when you turn your health care
- 9:34Speaker 5: decisions over to a centralized government entity. And I think
- 9:38Speaker 5: that has been a wake up call to the American people.
- 9:41Speaker 5: And I think they are no longer wanting to have
- 9:43Speaker 5: what many people would say, the Bernie Sanders single payer
- 9:46Speaker 5: Medicare for all.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I think those days are over.
- 9:49Speaker 5: The American people want to have a say in not
- 9:51Speaker 5: only the doctor that they're seeing, what kind of insurance
- 9:54Speaker 5: plan they have, but the care they're actually going to get.
- 9:57Speaker 5: And they don't want to have it dictated under a
- 10:00Speaker 5: government regime.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Nina Schaefer is with us. Where can they find the
- 10:04Speaker 4: piece that you wrote? It's up at Heritage.org. Any other
- 10:07Speaker 4: places that they can grab it?
- 10:08Speaker 5: Yes, at the Daily Signal.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Daily Signal.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I got another minute or two here with you. I mean,
- 10:17Speaker 4: I don't think anybody's happy with health care, right? I mean,
- 10:20Speaker 4: we all feel like we're either paying too much and
- 10:22Speaker 4: not getting enough. Rarely are you leaving the doctor's office
- 10:26Speaker 4: smiling because you got not only did you get the
- 10:28Speaker 4: great care, but it didn't cost you an arm and
- 10:30Speaker 4: a leg. I know this is an impossible question to answer,
- 10:34Speaker 4: but is Obamacare savable?
- 10:36Speaker 1: And if not, is there an alternative? Because the Republicans
- 10:38Speaker 1: really haven't come up with a good alternative either.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I think the problem is system wide. I
- 10:43Speaker 5: think you start with programs like Obamacare and start to
- 10:47Speaker 5: ratchet out what has happened there, which is really they've
- 10:50Speaker 5: allowed the status quo to kind of take over. So
- 10:53Speaker 5: everyone's happy with what they're getting and no one's really
- 10:55Speaker 5: focused on the patient. We need to get back to
- 10:57Speaker 5: what patients need and undo the monopoly that's happened in
- 11:00Speaker 5: the health care system.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Nina Schaefer, I cannot thank you enough. You guys at
- 11:04Speaker 4: Heritage are fantastic. Heritage.org, type in her name, you'll find her.
- 11:07Speaker 4: I can't, again, I really appreciate you coming on this evening,
- 11:11Speaker 4: carving out a few minutes and giving up your Monday night.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Hopefully we'll talk again very, very soon, but thank you
- 11:15Speaker 1: very much.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Thanks for having me. Look forward to it.
- 11:18Speaker 3: All right.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Have a great night. There you go.
- 11:19Speaker 3: All right.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So a little healthcare, a little illegal aliens, a little Medicaid,
- 11:25Speaker 1: a little Fraud. I mean, come on. We all know
- 11:28Speaker 1: it's happening, ladies and gentlemen.

- 16:26Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You know what I wanted to.
- 16:28Speaker 4: You guys don't mind if I play a little audio,
- 16:30Speaker 4: do you? So one of our esteemed senators, Kennedy, who's
- 16:34Speaker 4: a comedian half the time, he had a couple minutes
- 16:38Speaker 4: worth of audio. It's like a minute and a half.
- 16:40Speaker 4: It's worth playing, and I want you guys to hear
- 16:42Speaker 4: it because I find it interesting. So you can focus
- 16:44Speaker 4: on me and look at me, but I'm going to
- 16:46Speaker 4: play the audio. This is Kennedy talking about some of
- 16:49Speaker 4: the things that they took out of the budget.
- 16:52Speaker 1: That the Democrats wanted put back in.
- 16:56Speaker 7: And so we took out, and here's what they want
- 16:59Speaker 7: us to put back in. We found that under President Biden,
- 17:04Speaker 7: they were spending $ 3 million for circumcisions and vasectomies in Zambia.
- 17:12Speaker 2: We took that out.
- 17:15Speaker 7: The Congresswoman says, we're going to shut down government.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Until you put that back in.
- 17:20Speaker 7: We found $ 500, 000 of American taxpayer money for electric buses
- 17:25Speaker 7: in Rwanda. We found $ 3. 6 million for pastry cooking classes
- 17:32Speaker 7: and dance focus groups for male prostitutes in Haiti.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I kid you not.
- 17:40Speaker 7: I'm not making this up. It was in the budget
- 17:43Speaker 7: under President Biden.
- 17:45Speaker 1: We took it out.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez in the socialist wing, the loon wing of
- 17:51Speaker 7: the Democratic Party, says we're going to shut down government
- 17:53Speaker 7: until you put it back in. I'll just read you
- 17:56Speaker 7: a few more that we took out. They are demanding
- 17:59Speaker 7: we put back in. $ 6 million for media organizations for
- 18:03Speaker 7: the Palestinians. $ 833, 000 for transgender people in Nepal. $ 300, 000 for
- 18:11Speaker 7: a pride parade in Lesotho.
- 18:16Speaker 8: $ 882, 000.
- 18:16Speaker 7: For social media mentorship in Serbia.
- 18:21Speaker 1: $ 4.
- 18:21Speaker 7: 2 million.
- 18:22Speaker 2: We took it out.
- 18:23Speaker 7: The congresswoman and the socialist wing of their party says
- 18:27Speaker 7: we've got to put that back in for them open government.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:30Speaker 1: $ 4.
- 18:30Speaker 7: 2 million from lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex
- 18:38Speaker 7: people in the.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Western Balkans and Uganda.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Can't make it up. I could spend the.
- 18:43Speaker 7: Rest of the afternoon.
- 18:44Speaker 2: We took all that out.
- 18:46Speaker 7: It upset Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. It upset the socialist wing of
- 18:50Speaker 7: her party. And now that wing of her party and
- 18:54Speaker 7: the congresswoman are threatening all other Democrats and saying, you've
- 18:58Speaker 7: got to shut that government down.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Until we get what we want.
- 19:01Speaker 7: And part of what they want is to add this
- 19:04Speaker 7: kind of stuff back.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Into the bill.
- 19:07Speaker 4: All right, let me just jump in. So is that
- 19:10Speaker 4: not insane that that stuff is in there? And who's
- 19:13Speaker 4: running the Democrat side of the party?
- 19:15Speaker 1: It's not Schumer. I mean, he's desperately trying to hold
- 19:18Speaker 1: on here, right? It's AOC. AOC is in control. Believe
- 19:21Speaker 1: it or not, how scary that is.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rules the rules in the Democrat Party.
- 19:27Speaker 1: She is the most popular Democrat. Think about that for
- 19:29Speaker 1: a second.
- 19:31Speaker 4: How nervous would you be if she was actually up
- 19:33Speaker 4: for a much more powerful position? I mean, there were
- 19:36Speaker 4: talks about her running as either vice president or president
- 19:40Speaker 4: somewhere down the line. Can you imagine a world with
- 19:44Speaker 4: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spinning her venom and her.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Insanity out at Americans? I mean, honestly, I never think
- 19:54Speaker 1: about it like this. That would be, you know, you'd
- 19:56Speaker 1: have to really think about seceding, finding a state that's
- 19:58Speaker 1: willing to secede and move to it. If she was
- 20:01Speaker 1: in charge, oh my God. I met Kennedy who.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Was talking in that little 90-second piece. And he's a
- 20:08Speaker 4: funny guy, man.
- 20:09Speaker 1: But when he needs to be serious, he's very serious.
- 20:12Speaker 1: And he just pointed out some of the absolute.
- 20:16Speaker 4: chaos that is being promoted by the Democrat Party.
- 20:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll come back when we do. We'll talk
- 20:23Speaker 1: to our very good friend, cardiologist Dr. John Foley.
- 20:26Speaker 4: We're going to talk to him about a bunch of
- 20:28Speaker 4: different things, Medicare in general, and we're going to dive
- 20:33Speaker 4: into some transgender issues as well.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Keep it here. You're listening and watching The War Zone.

- 21:09Speaker 6: The patent application includes over 500 pages of science, sequencing,

- 22:28Speaker 4: a text message from him, I don't know, about 1 o'clock.
- 22:32Speaker 4: or so, maybe 12 o'clock Eastern Standard Time. And we
- 22:35Speaker 4: went back and forth for a little while. And he
- 22:37Speaker 4: told me, well, he's got to go because he was
- 22:40Speaker 4: walking into the Oval Office. So I'm sure he'll have
- 22:42Speaker 4: some great stories for you tomorrow. And you should be
- 22:45Speaker 4: ready for that. I can't wait to actually hear them myself. Anyway,

- 24:04Speaker 4: very good friend's been a regular on my morning show for,
- 24:08Speaker 4: I would say, close to, believe it or not, Doc,
- 24:11Speaker 4: 20 years.
- 24:12Speaker 1: So Dr.
- 24:13Speaker 4: John Foley, cardiologist, is his claim to fame, among others,
- 24:17Speaker 4: is joining us right now.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Doc, thanks for coming on. I appreciate you.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Thank you very much. And thanks to Wayne as well
- 24:23Speaker 8: for allowing me to take some air time and talk
- 24:26Speaker 8: to the listeners. And I love his show, so it's
- 24:29Speaker 8: really exciting.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I think it's going to be great. I'm looking forward
- 24:32Speaker 1: to our conversation. I'm just going to turn you loose,
- 24:35Speaker 1: get out of your way if that's okay.
- 24:36Speaker 4: But I know some of the things we wanted to
- 24:38Speaker 4: talk about tonight, failure of medicine in general.
- 24:42Speaker 1: We can get to that if you want second.
- 24:44Speaker 4: But I wanted to ask you, because we have talked
- 24:46Speaker 4: about this on my morning show quite often, about transgenders,
- 24:50Speaker 4: transgenders in sports, just the biological difference between men and women. So,
- 24:55Speaker 4: I mean, give us a couple of minutes on your
- 24:57Speaker 4: thoughts on that in general.
- 25:00Speaker 8: So, first of all, you know, what I'll say is
- 25:03Speaker 8: that too often lately, there are no adults in the room.
- 25:08Speaker 1: There used to be.
- 25:09Speaker 8: It used to be we could count on our doctors
- 25:11Speaker 8: or we could count on our hospitals or we could
- 25:13Speaker 8: count on the American Medical Association. And frankly, they've all
- 25:17Speaker 8: failed us. I can finally say that because I'm retired
- 25:21Speaker 8: as of September. And this is not an attack against
- 25:25Speaker 8: providers individually. But if you look at the fact that,
- 25:28Speaker 8: you know, our health care system is the most expensive
- 25:33Speaker 8: in the world yet provides poor outcomes. You know, we're
- 25:37Speaker 8: not focusing on the right things because 60 percent of
- 25:39Speaker 8: our adolescents have chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension. It
- 25:44Speaker 8: used to be 15 percent a decade or so ago.
- 25:47Speaker 8: So we're heading in the wrong direction. And yet the
- 25:49Speaker 8: focus of attention in health care now is transgender. And,
- 25:55Speaker 8: you know, if I hear one more person at a
- 25:58Speaker 8: congressional hearing or on TV or somewhere saying, well, it's
- 26:02Speaker 8: a very complicated issue, I'm going to scream. It is
- 26:06Speaker 8: not a complicated issue. They say, well, you know, what's
- 26:09Speaker 8: the definition of a woman? And then there's always that
- 26:12Speaker 8: pause where the person is struggling with how do I
- 26:15Speaker 8: answer that question? A woman is a person who has
- 26:18Speaker 8: XX chromosomes.
- 26:20Speaker 1: That's it.
- 26:21Speaker 8: It's not defined by breasts or cervix or any female
- 26:25Speaker 8: body parts because they can all be taken out and
- 26:27Speaker 8: the person is still a woman. At the end of
- 26:30Speaker 8: the day, it is a very simple answer. A woman
- 26:34Speaker 8: has XX chromosomes and a male has XY. That's it.
- 26:40Speaker 1: We're done.
- 26:41Speaker 8: There's no other, you know, I'll see my time back
- 26:43Speaker 8: to the chairman because there is no complexity there. Now,
- 26:47Speaker 8: we've made it complex. We've also made it so that
- 26:50Speaker 8: if you say what I'm saying now, they're ready to,
- 26:54Speaker 8: you know, bring you to the edge of the cliff
- 26:56Speaker 8: and throw you off. We're being gaslit to use terminology
- 27:00Speaker 8: that makes no sense. And when we speak up about it, well,
- 27:05Speaker 8: then we're intolerant. One of the last conversations I had
- 27:08Speaker 8: with a leader where I previously worked, and wonderful person
- 27:13Speaker 8: and a fantastic doctor, and she would agree that it's
- 27:18Speaker 8: not great for an 18-year-old boy to be taking off
- 27:22Speaker 8: their clothes in a locker room with 13-year-old girls. So
- 27:24Speaker 8: I felt like I had won a major victory. But
- 27:27Speaker 8: then when I sort of talked to them about, well,
- 27:29Speaker 8: but they're not that trans, we say trans women. I
- 27:33Speaker 8: don't understand that because they're never going to.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Be a woman.
- 27:37Speaker 8: At the end of the day, they will never be
- 27:38Speaker 8: a woman. There is no way you can take an
- 27:40Speaker 8: XY chromosome and make it XX. That's it. And that
- 27:43Speaker 8: would be what you'd have to do. You can make
- 27:46Speaker 8: them look like a woman. You can make them feel
- 27:48Speaker 8: like a woman, but they will never be a woman.
- 27:51Speaker 2: She lost it.
- 27:53Speaker 8: And so I thought to myself, what is wrong with
- 27:57Speaker 8: a physician who I know they all went through genetics classes,
- 28:02Speaker 8: doesn't seem to remember a very simple class about gametes, X, Y, X, X.
- 28:10Speaker 8: And that's when I realized we were in trouble and
- 28:12Speaker 8: that when you would speak up at a meeting, you'd
- 28:15Speaker 8: get shouted down or you'd be looked at like you're
- 28:17Speaker 8: a crazy person. And so, you know, for this whole
- 28:23Speaker 8: thing that, you know, it's the DNA stupid to coin
- 28:26Speaker 8: a phrase. Beyond that, it's about what people perceive and
- 28:30Speaker 8: how they feel. And I am never going to make
- 28:34Speaker 8: fun of or look down on someone who has a
- 28:37Speaker 8: feeling that they are different than their body. I mean,
- 28:40Speaker 8: that is a terrible thing. position to be in. But
- 28:44Speaker 8: the reality of the situation is it used to be
- 28:46Speaker 8: like 0.01% of the population. Now you have like mothers
- 28:51Speaker 8: on TV saying, my three kids are all transgender. I mean,
- 28:55Speaker 8: there is no way that three kids in a family
- 28:58Speaker 8: are transgender. So there's an illness going on here. We
- 29:02Speaker 8: also have data which when they've done the trials has
- 29:06Speaker 8: disproved their theory, and then they decide not to publish it. Well,
- 29:09Speaker 8: where's the AMA to say, wait a minute, guys, you
- 29:12Speaker 8: don't get to publish research because it agrees with what
- 29:16Speaker 8: your premise was.
- 29:17Speaker 2: You've got to.
- 29:18Speaker 8: Publish that research. That's what we call research. That's what
- 29:20Speaker 8: we're doing here. And there is no real research done here.
- 29:25Speaker 8: They're taking 13-year-old kids and 14-year-old kids and doing surgery
- 29:30Speaker 8: on them. They're putting breasts in perfectly healthy male children
- 29:33Speaker 8: and removing breasts. Extensive surgery. You need to see the scars.
- 29:37Speaker 8: I've seen the scars. The scarring on the chest from
- 29:40Speaker 8: removing perfectly healthy teenage breasts to transition them when 30%
- 29:46Speaker 8: of the people in the midst of the hormone therapy
- 29:49Speaker 8: stop treatment because they've changed their mind or for many
- 29:53Speaker 8: different reasons. And post-surgical therapy, which most people don't have
- 29:59Speaker 8: bottom surgery, but the people who do, there's significant numbers
- 30:03Speaker 8: of folks who are very upset that they did it.
- 30:07Speaker 8: So to me, and I've said this before, any surgeon
- 30:12Speaker 8: that takes a 13 or a 14-year-old girl and removes
- 30:15Speaker 8: their breasts should be in prison. To me, that is butchery.
- 30:22Speaker 8: If I walked into an operation to a surgeon tomorrow
- 30:25Speaker 8: and I said, I want my legs removed.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Why?
- 30:28Speaker 8: Because because I just don't like them. And they're and
- 30:31Speaker 8: they're upsetting to me. And I can't wake up another
- 30:34Speaker 8: day without my legs. Would they would they remove my legs?
- 30:38Speaker 8: I mean, maybe maybe today they would, but I don't
- 30:40Speaker 8: think so. And yet we're treating adolescent girls and boys
- 30:45Speaker 8: who are struggling. With with life choices. And this has
- 30:50Speaker 8: been going on since the beginning of time. People have
- 30:52Speaker 8: sort of had that gender confusion, some more than others.
- 30:56Speaker 8: And then they come out on the other side. So
- 30:59Speaker 8: to me and to be removing family from it, to be,
- 31:02Speaker 8: you know, having schools coaching these kids to have health
- 31:07Speaker 8: care systems that are going to go ahead and do
- 31:10Speaker 8: and do the surgery and give hormone. This stuff is permanent.
- 31:14Speaker 8: Like they're they're lying. And again, this is the other thing.
- 31:18Speaker 8: The health care community should be counted on for truth.
- 31:21Speaker 8: And when you can't believe when they look at you
- 31:24Speaker 8: in the face and they say blockers and hormones are.
- 31:27Speaker 8: are completely reversible when you stop them. No, they're not. No,
- 31:32Speaker 8: they're not.
- 31:33Speaker 2: It's a lie.
- 31:34Speaker 8: And so if we're going to be doing this stuff,
- 31:37Speaker 8: we've seen tapes of girls saying, I wish somebody had
- 31:40Speaker 8: told me this. They have breasts, but they have no sensation.
- 31:46Speaker 8: Many of these people will never have an orgasm in
- 31:48Speaker 8: their life. And they're 14, 15 years old, and we've
- 31:51Speaker 8: committed them to that. So To me, I think it's
- 31:55Speaker 8: time to stand up. And I, you know, when people
- 31:57Speaker 8: start with the pronoun stuff and when people start with the,
- 32:00Speaker 8: you know, the surgery and all that stuff, I am
- 32:02Speaker 8: very vocal and I will be vocal to the day
- 32:04Speaker 8: that I die because I don't think that what we're
- 32:06Speaker 8: doing is right. And I think in 20 or 30 years,
- 32:09Speaker 8: when people look back on our generation, how we handle
- 32:12Speaker 8: this problem is going to be a significant, significant issue.
- 32:15Speaker 8: And I think medicine has fallen asleep at best or
- 32:19Speaker 8: has sold out at worst. And we need to get
- 32:21Speaker 8: organized medicine to do what they should be doing, which
- 32:24Speaker 8: is advocate for patients, families and providers. And they I
- 32:29Speaker 8: don't know who they're advocating for, but it is not
- 32:32Speaker 8: any of those three things.
- 32:34Speaker 1: His name is Dr. John Foley. That was just great stuff, Doc.
- 32:37Speaker 1: And I tell you, as you had pointed out, that
- 32:41Speaker 1: some of the.
- 32:42Speaker 4: The things that they would lean on to try to
- 32:44Speaker 4: prove points were disproven time and time again, suicide being one.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But listen, we'll come back in just a second. Music
- 32:50Speaker 1: is playing. We've got Dr.
- 32:51Speaker 4: John Foley with us, and we'll talk a little bit,
- 32:54Speaker 4: maybe a little bit more about this, and then morph
- 32:57Speaker 4: into the failure, again, of organized medicine. just for the
- 33:01Speaker 4: everyday person, me and you, going to the doctors, getting
- 33:03Speaker 4: a visit, trying to cope with what we've got going
- 33:06Speaker 4: on and actually try to afford it all at the
- 33:09Speaker 4: same time.
- 33:10Speaker 1: The show is War Zone.
- 33:11Speaker 4: My name is Lee Elsey, the voice of freedom, filling
- 33:13Speaker 4: in for Wayne Allen Root. We'll take a short break.
- 33:15Speaker 4: We'll come back more with Doc Foley on the other side.

- 36:15Speaker 6: There has never been a better moment to invest in tungsten.
- 36:18Speaker 6: Patriot Critical Minerals isn't just about mining. It's about securing

- 36:50Speaker 1: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I am the voice of freedom.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I do a morning show here in Connecticut on 94.9
- 36:57Speaker 4: over Connecticut, Rhode Island, Long Island. I'm also, as luck
- 37:00Speaker 4: would have it, on Patriot TV, Patriot.TV, every single morning
- 37:04Speaker 4: live streaming through Rumble.
- 37:06Speaker 1: So if you like what you see, and why wouldn't you? Oh, yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 4: You can live stream early in the morning on Rumble
- 37:15Speaker 4: also at 1 o'clock. Every day, Eastern Standard Time, an
- 37:18Speaker 4: hour of my morning show is replayed on Patriot.TV.
- 37:23Speaker 1: So check it out there.
- 37:24Speaker 4: You can watch what's happening also on TheGatewayPundit.com, Wayne's Rumble, XGetter,
- 37:29Speaker 4: and all those great places.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You can go to RootForAmerica.com.
- 37:32Speaker 4: If you don't know where Wayne is, well, he was
- 37:35Speaker 4: in Washington, D.C., hanging out with the President of the
- 37:38Speaker 4: United States today. That is 100% truth. So he'll have
- 37:42Speaker 4: stories for you tomorrow night for sure. Joining us right now,
- 37:46Speaker 4: is Dr. John Foley, who just gave an amazing, had
- 37:50Speaker 4: an amazing, let's say, monologue about transgenders and so how
- 37:55Speaker 4: we have enabled it.
- 37:56Speaker 1: And as a culture, we've basically stoked that fire.
- 37:59Speaker 4: And so, Doc, you know, we can get off that
- 38:03Speaker 4: for a little bit.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I think a lot of us are on the same page.
- 38:06Speaker 4: The one question I did want to follow up with, though,
- 38:08Speaker 4: really quickly on on the transgender issue is, do you
- 38:12Speaker 4: feel like it's hit the pinnacle and now is on
- 38:14Speaker 4: the other side? Like maybe we've seen how horrible that
- 38:18Speaker 4: this actually is and people are wising up even just
- 38:21Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 38:22Speaker 8: You know, I wish I could say yes, but I,
- 38:25Speaker 8: but I think the answer is no. And I think when,
- 38:28Speaker 8: when you look at, um, what are hospitals doing now?
- 38:31Speaker 8: Are they doing the surgeries? Are they doing all the hormones?
- 38:34Speaker 8: They're doing hormones, but they're not doing surgery. People are
- 38:37Speaker 8: kind of putting cases, I was told by someone, we're
- 38:40Speaker 8: putting them on the shelf. So because, you know, these
- 38:45Speaker 8: institutions can outlive presidents, right? You know, he's going to
- 38:49Speaker 8: be there four years and who knows who comes in next. And,
- 38:52Speaker 8: you know, I think that they'll just ratchet right back
- 38:55Speaker 8: up to where they were before. It's becoming really a
- 38:57Speaker 8: religion and a dogma to some in government and, you know,
- 39:03Speaker 8: our You know, really, when you talk about the cabal, right,
- 39:06Speaker 8: you know, you're talking about the press and you're talking
- 39:09Speaker 8: about some of the leaders in the progressive movement. And again,
- 39:14Speaker 8: the most disappointing thing to me is that the doctors,
- 39:18Speaker 8: the people who used to be the adults in the
- 39:22Speaker 8: room are no longer doing that. They're going along with it.
- 39:25Speaker 8: They're aiding and abetting. No one forces a surgeon to
- 39:28Speaker 8: remove healthy breast tissue. on a teenage girl. No one
- 39:32Speaker 8: does that. If that 14-year-old girl wanted to have her
- 39:37Speaker 8: gallbladder out because she was having gallstones, she couldn't sign
- 39:41Speaker 8: permission for it. Yet she could, at 14, sign for
- 39:45Speaker 8: an abortion. And she could also sign up for... transgender
- 39:50Speaker 8: surgery and hormones. I mean, what's going on? And so this,
- 39:54Speaker 8: it used to be the attack on government on families
- 39:57Speaker 8: used to be sort of like one of those things
- 39:59Speaker 8: we talked about as, you know, it was happening, but
- 40:01Speaker 8: it was sort of behind the scenes. They are very upfront.
- 40:04Speaker 8: They have told us what their what their agenda is
- 40:07Speaker 8: and they are surgically and otherwise going to do it
- 40:10Speaker 8: unless we stop them. And so I do believe it
- 40:13Speaker 8: is our responsibility to stop them and to, you know,
- 40:17Speaker 8: to have organizations reaching out to hospitals, demanding to know
- 40:21Speaker 8: whether they're doing certain procedures and what the ages of
- 40:24Speaker 8: the people are. I mean, we have our 26 year
- 40:28Speaker 8: old kids on our health insurance, right, because they're not
- 40:31Speaker 8: supposedly mature enough to maintain their healthcare. And so we
- 40:37Speaker 8: pay for it till 26. At 13, you could have
- 40:40Speaker 8: your complete organs in your body like flipped around. You know,
- 40:45Speaker 8: if you were to tell me that this was going on,
- 40:48Speaker 8: I didn't know it was actually going on. I would
- 40:50Speaker 8: think this is a Stephen King book or movie. It's
- 40:53Speaker 8: a nightmare. And so I think the thing that we
- 40:57Speaker 8: all can do is stand up and and confront this
- 41:00Speaker 8: and not be polite about it, not be polite about it.
- 41:03Speaker 8: We can't be mean to people who are going through
- 41:06Speaker 8: it at all. But we can be mean to the
- 41:08Speaker 8: doctors and to the hospitals and to the health care
- 41:11Speaker 8: systems because if they continue to do this, they're guilty
- 41:17Speaker 8: of the same crimes.
- 41:18Speaker 4: I think we've crossed the line of sorts. I do think,
- 41:22Speaker 4: I feel like this, maybe I'm wrong, but I do
- 41:24Speaker 4: feel like most of the people out there realize that
- 41:28Speaker 4: they have made this gross error, this grotesque error in
- 41:33Speaker 4: just assuming that because somebody says that they're a female,
- 41:35Speaker 4: they are a female. I saw a great sort of interview.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Girl on the street was talking. She had a black
- 41:42Speaker 4: man with a rainbow sweatshirt on and she had asked
- 41:45Speaker 4: him a question. She asked him, whether or not she
- 41:49Speaker 4: was a man and he waffled with the answer. Then
- 41:52Speaker 4: he asked her if she was, if she identified as black,
- 41:56Speaker 4: would it be okay?
- 41:57Speaker 1: And he was a black man and he had to
- 41:59Speaker 1: say no to that.
- 42:00Speaker 4: So, I mean, I think that some, in some cases,
- 42:03Speaker 4: maybe that was a bad example, but I do think
- 42:04Speaker 4: that in the general sense, I think people are coming
- 42:07Speaker 4: around to this doc. So, I appreciate your honesty on
- 42:10Speaker 4: all of this. Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to
- 42:12Speaker 4: have time to get into anything else, but I got
- 42:14Speaker 4: to say, you know, having you on is a breath
- 42:16Speaker 4: of fresh air with the honesty.
- 42:18Speaker 1: We love it. Your first national appearance really is a
- 42:21Speaker 1: home run, man. So doc, I thank you. I appreciate it.
- 42:27Speaker 1: The music is playing.
- 42:28Speaker 4: We're out of time, but we'll, we'll definitely do this
- 42:30Speaker 4: again next time on mom on for Wayne.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I'll definitely have you back. We can talk about some
- 42:34Speaker 1: other stuff.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 42:36Speaker 8: Thanks to Wayne and to yourself. This was a great opportunity.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I had a lot of fun.
- 42:40Speaker 2: All right, brother.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Dr.
- 42:41Speaker 1: John Foley, great stuff.
- 42:42Speaker 4: He doesn't have a book out yet, doesn't have a
- 42:44Speaker 4: podcast yet, but we're working on that behind the scenes
- 42:47Speaker 4: to make sure he gets out there.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Again, a truth spreader, and we need that desperately.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Wayne is back tomorrow night. Thanks to the boys in Minnesota.
- 42:54Speaker 4: Thanks to the boys at Patriot.TV. You guys have a
- 42:57Speaker 4: great Monday night. Until tomorrow when Wayne is back, enjoy
- 43:00Speaker 4: the next 24 hours.
- 43:01Speaker 1: We'll see you.
