- 1:44Speaker 4: on a con of today being Thanksgiving, that makes sense.
- 1:46Speaker 4: There's a no hands challenge Thanksgiving addition, Yes, are you
- 1:51Speaker 4: picking up on a theme also, and you know a
- 1:54Speaker 4: lot of family get togethers. We talked recently about why
- 1:57Speaker 4: they beef in different family members, and you know, hey,
- 2:00Speaker 4: why are some listeners beefing with us? What's their problem?
- 2:03Speaker 4: The thing is, your family's your family and in this case,
- 2:07Speaker 4: in this do the situation, listeners are listeners and we're
- 2:10Speaker 4: just a radio show. So sa of you, we're meeting
- 2:12Speaker 4: at the crossroads today, Round of wood you show a
- 2:16Speaker 4: golden bachelorette as well. That's hot and sexy. It is
- 2:21Speaker 4: speaking of people, you know, getting together, friends, family and stuff.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Greg Gory had just kind of casually mentioned about how
- 2:28Speaker 4: his parents were friends with the band Rush.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I can't believe I never told you this story.
- 2:36Speaker 5: I like in passing, but we never really kind of
- 2:38Speaker 5: heard this st We've never done a deep dive on it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:41Speaker 3: So essentially, you know, when you well, you guys didn't
- 2:45Speaker 3: well you didn't go to college, Woody. But now when
- 2:47Speaker 3: you're in your early twenties in your college, either in
- 2:50Speaker 3: college or right out of college, you kind of have
- 2:53Speaker 3: like couple's friends, you know, so you have your best
- 2:56Speaker 3: couples friends. And my parents had these best couple friends.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Alex was the husband, uh And then I'm sorry, no,
- 3:03Speaker 3: Nick was the husband Nick and they called him Nicky
- 3:06Speaker 3: and they're a Russian, so they're all, it's this foursome
- 3:09Speaker 3: and well, yeah, So then they would hang out with
- 3:14Speaker 3: Nick and his soon to be wife at their place,
- 3:17Speaker 3: and then they would go hang out at my parents' place, this,
- 3:19Speaker 3: that and the other. But every time they went to uh,
- 3:21Speaker 3: Nick and Sasha's house, Sasha was the wife. The little
- 3:25Speaker 3: brother Alex was there with his long hair. He'd be
- 3:28Speaker 3: hanging out in the basement. My dad would have said, oh,
- 3:30Speaker 3: he was kind of a delinquent type. So his name
- 3:33Speaker 3: is Alex turns out to be Alex Leifs and his
- 3:36Speaker 3: real last name is not Life's and it's some incredibly long,
- 3:38Speaker 3: difficult to pronounce Russian name, so I'm.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Not letters that aren't letters exactly.
- 3:51Speaker 3: So for years they would all hang out and then
- 3:53Speaker 3: Alex would come into the room and he'd hang out
- 3:55Speaker 3: and stuff, and they were doing this, that and the other,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and then sometimes you know, his friend.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Getdy would be there.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And anyway, fast forward to let's say twenty five years later.
- 4:08Speaker 3: His family has since moved to Canada. My family has
- 4:12Speaker 3: since moved to northern California. I'm about fifteen at this point,
- 4:17Speaker 3: and Nick comes to visit my parents. They haven't seen
- 4:20Speaker 3: each other in years. And then my dad out of
- 4:22Speaker 3: the blue, said, hey, Nick, by the way, how Sasha's
- 4:25Speaker 3: little brother Alex doing, And he said, you know what,
- 4:27Speaker 3: he's actually doing quite well, which surprised my parents because
- 4:31Speaker 3: he was always just kind of, yeah, the long haired hippie,
- 4:35Speaker 3: delinquent guy hanging out in the basement. And he said, oh,
- 4:37Speaker 3: what's he up to. He said, He's in a band.
- 4:40Speaker 3: It's called Rush, and my brother Rush for him is
- 4:45Speaker 3: depeche Mode for me. My brother almost fainted, almost started crying.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Your brother in law's Alex Lifson. Oh my god. So
- 4:55Speaker 3: then about a week later, we get these packages in
- 4:57Speaker 3: the mail from Alex with at the top cassette tapes
- 5:01Speaker 3: all the Rush tapes with tickets to their show that
- 5:04Speaker 3: was upcoming, wrapped around with rubber band and this written,
- 5:07Speaker 3: Hey Greg and Mike, it's Alex and hope you come
- 5:10Speaker 3: see us. Say hi to your parents for me. I
- 5:12Speaker 3: remember them from when I was a kid, and this
- 5:14Speaker 3: and the and then we went to the show. And
- 5:16Speaker 3: so that, unbeknownst to them at the time, They weren't
- 5:19Speaker 3: Rush when they were friends, but Geddy and Alex were
- 5:22Speaker 3: always there hanging out being quote delinquents together.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Nice.
- 5:26Speaker 3: They were friends with their older brothers with roughly Alex's
- 5:30Speaker 3: sister sister, right, and then Nick was the brother in
- 5:33Speaker 3: law to Alex life then.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And wow, there are a lot of Rush super fans.
- 5:38Speaker 1: So your brother, your brother, right.
- 5:39Speaker 3: My brother is a massive Rush mega ultra fan.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You want to talk about a sausage party, holy c.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Concert?
- 5:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I been, that was and that was my first
- 5:50Speaker 3: concert Rush.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So did you have backstage passes and stuff?
- 5:55Speaker 6: No?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Really, nothing like that.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Did they sign the cassette tapes? Yes?
- 5:58Speaker 6: Oh nice?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Wow was pretty.
- 6:00Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 6:01Speaker 1: That's cool. It was cool, But.
- 6:03Speaker 3: So I mean it was it's how they had a
- 6:06Speaker 3: Rush connection. They didn't know them as the band. They
- 6:10Speaker 3: knew him as as a kid or as a as
- 6:13Speaker 3: the brother of one of their best friends. So well,
- 6:16Speaker 3: but yeah, and I don't even know how to pronounce
- 6:18Speaker 3: his last name, to be honest.
- 6:20Speaker 7: Well, my mom was friends with the wife of the
- 6:23Speaker 7: guy that made the song the Year of the Cat.
- 6:26Speaker 3: I remember that song.
- 6:31Speaker 5: I don't know some favorite song, A Year of the Cat.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Bet it's not in our system.
- 6:36Speaker 4: I know it's not the system. I'm going right to
- 6:38Speaker 4: the internet.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Al Stewart, you're of the cat.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Look at some picture that pops up and you see him.
- 6:44Speaker 1: He looks he looks like Towns And how did your
- 6:48Speaker 1: mom know this guy? Like, my mom's friends with.
- 6:52Speaker 3: His wife, the wife of the guy. Who does he
- 6:56Speaker 3: looks like?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Who played? I mean, I don't want to overshadow you
- 7:01Speaker 1: rush story. This guy played acoustic guitar on a rug
- 7:06Speaker 1: with incense. Oh, he's on Rhino Rawall was on Rhino Records.
- 7:10Speaker 1: The Year of the Cat came out in seventy six.
- 7:13Speaker 4: No, ie, he's still alive, yeah, says yeah, Mal Stewart.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Year of the Cat seventy eight years old. Oh, why
- 7:22Speaker 4: it's all.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Again one ear, weird one air thing.
- 7:25Speaker 7: They used to do that back in the day because
- 7:27Speaker 7: it cann't have multi track mixing, I know, but at
- 7:29Speaker 7: least it was monoed down right.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Well, you also played on YouTube mix which could be
- 7:34Speaker 1: is it from their official channel? I mean nice intro.
- 7:36Speaker 1: By the way, I think I've heard this in movies.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you ca cat, Yeah, tween seventy six.
- 7:56Speaker 3: The Sun, Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 2: That you know who likes the.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Song you might know the hook, Sammy, I do like
- 8:12Speaker 1: the song, you don't know it.
- 8:13Speaker 8: I like old songs.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I don't know it, but just yeah, I would almost
- 8:16Speaker 1: young rock, not quite like the almost right. He'll like
- 8:21Speaker 1: thirteen million bucks. No, yeah, he is from that.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Here the cat dog, here the cat cat Dog. If
- 8:29Speaker 5: you have if you have a hit from the old
- 8:31Speaker 5: timy days, you get the money. Yeah nowadays?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah, do you remember that song, solid Solid I remember
- 8:40Speaker 3: seeing that. I think they were a husband and wife
- 8:42Speaker 3: and they were living in a car with no money.
- 8:46Speaker 3: That song went to number one Boom Mansion.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Ball and back in those days and Simpson, Yeah, they
- 8:55Speaker 4: were living in their car.
- 8:57Speaker 7: Yeah, because back then, like record labels didn't really take
- 9:00Speaker 7: money from your live performances.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and they didn't care about that.
- 9:08Speaker 9: Oh yeah yeah, hell yeah, dude, solid way Yeah, got
- 9:19Speaker 9: all the songs like that.
- 9:21Speaker 4: That cat song was like over six minutes, LONGEZ, this
- 9:24Speaker 4: one's over five minutes long.
- 9:26Speaker 5: No one makes songs that long anymore.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody got time for that.
- 9:30Speaker 10: Yeah, TikTok. Yeah, I gotta get to the hook chorus.
- 9:42Speaker 10: Jesus five minutes later, Here we.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Go, Here we go.
- 9:50Speaker 3: There's Mother Reppers beside.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Solid Memory Lane. There you might want to talk to
- 10:24Speaker 1: MENACE's mom's girlfriend's wife or whatever the hell. Because Alice
- 10:27Speaker 1: Stewart many years later wrote an entire album called down
- 10:31Speaker 1: in the Cellar Concept Album, and the concept was why why.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Just the term concept album gonna It reminds me of
- 10:40Speaker 3: like Grateful Dead b sides.
- 10:42Speaker 1: We're very late. We got to take a quick break.
- 10:43Speaker 1: More wood he shows next, hang on.

- 11:19Speaker 1: this morning. Oh welcome.
- 11:21Speaker 3: All the time an interaction.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Now, let's take best because I did not hear how
- 11:26Speaker 4: this ended up, whether she got the ticket or not.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Do you know, Sammy, I don't know.
- 11:30Speaker 1: You don't Okay, you kind of shot her a look
- 11:32Speaker 1: as if you already store. All I know is.
- 11:35Speaker 4: That she got pulled over and there was some kind
- 11:36Speaker 4: of interaction. The question is, did Gina grad get herself
- 11:40Speaker 4: out of the ticket?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yes?
- 11:41Speaker 11: Or no?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Greg? Well, hold on, what was it for?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Can we We're not going to get any details.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Don't say traffic stop, but that could be. That could
- 11:49Speaker 4: be like a big difference between certain types of traffics.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Thats okay, fine speeding, no speeding.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Running a red light?
- 11:55Speaker 12: What was it?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Not? Stopping the light? A dusting of running a red light?
- 12:01Speaker 6: Right?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Okay? Okay, all right, So did you get out of it?
- 12:04Speaker 7: Was outside that like our building? Yes, it was okay,
- 12:07Speaker 7: because they pulled people out over all the time here.
- 12:10Speaker 7: I think one of our coworkers, I think he's counted.
- 12:13Speaker 7: He's been pulled over thirteen times.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Oh wow, I'm going to say she did not get
- 12:18Speaker 3: out of the ticket.
- 12:18Speaker 1: She did get the ticket, okay forcot the ticket? Yeah, menace.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think she got out of it. Got out of it, Yeah,
- 12:26Speaker 1: got out of it, got out of it. Yeah, light ticket.
- 12:29Speaker 1: She's a woman, warning warning, first time they've dealt with
- 12:32Speaker 1: her on the way to work, so very early in
- 12:34Speaker 1: the morning. As hell, thank you so much. Yeah, this
- 12:38Speaker 1: is like three thirty ish.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Okay, I would say, I would say that you did
- 12:43Speaker 4: get out of the tickets and scream at the cops,
- 12:44Speaker 4: like although the local cops are very hardcore militant building
- 12:50Speaker 4: they are. I mean, I don't think i'd get out
- 12:52Speaker 4: of the ticket really if I deal with them. But
- 12:54Speaker 4: I'm guessing that you probably did.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Okay, do you want me to just kind of.
- 12:58Speaker 3: The story and then at the end you can give
- 12:59Speaker 3: us the big reveal.
- 13:00Speaker 13: I will so coming into work not a soul for
- 13:05Speaker 13: in any direction. I mean, I can see the full horizon.
- 13:07Speaker 13: There's nothing there. I'm alone, and uh, I've had some
- 13:12Speaker 13: weird interactions, like in the middle of the night at
- 13:14Speaker 13: like an intersection where like people come like knocking on
- 13:16Speaker 13: your window and stuff.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And I'm not down with that, so I didn't. I
- 13:20Speaker 1: wanted to avoid it just in case you pulled a
- 13:23Speaker 1: Tyreek hill. Well it was yellow ish.
- 13:27Speaker 13: And I can and I drove through down to the
- 13:29Speaker 13: into the you know, the downy thing, the down people
- 13:33Speaker 13: call that a driveway.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, to where you pull into the garage the underground.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah, the dippy, downy thing. This was literally pulling in
- 13:42Speaker 3: two words, just the way would have went off lights.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I would have just gone into the garage here.
- 13:51Speaker 13: There were lights behind me, like you know, headlights. I
- 13:53Speaker 13: was like, oh, somebody's coming in with me. But they
- 13:55Speaker 13: pulled up next to me and this young looking dude
- 13:58Speaker 13: with a chisel joke rolls down his window and just
- 14:02Speaker 13: stares at me, and I look at him and we
- 14:05Speaker 13: don't say anything to each other, just staring at me,
- 14:08Speaker 13: and he lights me up with so many F bombs.
- 14:11Speaker 13: I've never seen a cop do this to anybody.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So first words are F bomb.
- 14:16Speaker 2: He's like, what the F?
- 14:19Speaker 1: And I was like, excuse me. He's like, whoa wait,
- 14:22Speaker 1: wait you do you don't speak English? Your dad? And
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm just because he's like.
- 14:27Speaker 13: I'm the herd he and I'm you know, at like
- 14:31Speaker 13: look what I'm wearing. I look like a mom, Like
- 14:33Speaker 13: I'm not like trying to be clearly not trying every hot.
- 14:36Speaker 3: So I was like, sir.
- 14:38Speaker 1: He's like, oh, no, sir, me, Now, what the F?
- 14:40Speaker 1: What the He's like, what? He goes? You I have
- 14:43Speaker 1: on cam. I have on my f and camera what
- 14:45Speaker 1: you did and you did it twice? Like what I
- 14:49Speaker 1: did it? I go, sir, I most certainly did not.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Oh now you're gonna f and lie to me.
- 14:55Speaker 4: And I was like, sir, did you have to established
- 14:57Speaker 4: what the infraction was this point?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Nothing? Nothing has been especial light twice. That's what I
- 15:04Speaker 1: wanted to know.
- 15:05Speaker 13: So he goes, nothing makes me more f and mad
- 15:08Speaker 13: than when I see something it's on my fin camera.
- 15:10Speaker 13: And then somebody's like, I'm like, yo, sir, like i'd
- 15:17Speaker 13: him down. He'sa just clenched, he's like piercing his he's
- 15:21Speaker 13: like a young kind of good looking, like young buck
- 15:23Speaker 13: alone and uh.
- 15:25Speaker 1: And he was just like super mad at me. And
- 15:28Speaker 1: I kept going, sir, because I didn't want to, you know,
- 15:33Speaker 1: put me in. What I was gonna say was like, I.
- 15:38Speaker 13: Don't think there's any need for that. And I was like,
- 15:40Speaker 13: you know, you know, just shut up, okay, and I go,
- 15:43Speaker 13: you know what, You're absolutely right. I am driving alone
- 15:46Speaker 13: in the middle of the night. I do not like
- 15:47Speaker 13: stopping when it's just me. I want anyone coming up
- 15:52Speaker 13: to my car. I don't want to be bothered. I
- 15:53Speaker 13: just want to get into the building.
- 15:55Speaker 1: He's like, I get it, old, I'm a woman. And
- 15:57Speaker 1: I was like, god, he was accurate on that.
- 16:01Speaker 13: I don't like stopping, but in general, sure, but I said,
- 16:06Speaker 13: it's the middle of the night. I don't want to
- 16:08Speaker 13: be set, you know, I don't want to be sitting
- 16:09Speaker 13: at a red light, like I don't. I don't think
- 16:11Speaker 13: that's safe.
- 16:12Speaker 4: He's like, okay, now, did you come to a complete
- 16:14Speaker 4: stop and then then went through Like did you treat
- 16:16Speaker 4: it like a stop sign?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Unclear?
- 16:20Speaker 13: But he's yelling at me and I'm just like yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 13: and I finally put my little praying hands like yeah, no,
- 16:26Speaker 13: you're right, You're right. Like I'm just like kind of
- 16:28Speaker 13: giving him the signal like please, it helped me.
- 16:30Speaker 4: If you could have rolled on and showed your belly,
- 16:32Speaker 4: he probably would have done that right a hundred.
- 16:35Speaker 13: So he finally goes, you know what, and then he goes,
- 16:39Speaker 13: there's a lot of homeless people around here.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I was like, that's kind of my point.
- 16:42Speaker 4: He's like, if we hit one so well here.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It's worth it to you to be arrested for manslaughter. Wow, cocaine,
- 16:51Speaker 1: it does.
- 16:52Speaker 4: It does sound more like one of our local officers.
- 16:55Speaker 11: Okay.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I didn't know that because they are pretty very hard
- 16:58Speaker 1: and I've never interaction like this, and there are not
- 17:01Speaker 1: a lot of homeless people right outside our building.
- 17:03Speaker 3: There's that one.
- 17:03Speaker 5: That's there's one on a bench at the bus stop,
- 17:08Speaker 5: and you.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Hated if he got roll over, that would be very sad.
- 17:11Speaker 13: So the big finale, the big grand reveal, he goes,
- 17:16Speaker 13: I'm gonna let you off, but you consider this in
- 17:19Speaker 13: f and warning.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Wow.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I was like, thank you, sir, two year old go crazy.
- 17:26Speaker 13: It was I didn't get out of it, and he
- 17:28Speaker 13: was just he was still monologuing and decided to let me.
- 17:30Speaker 5: It was bizarre.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Is that normal around here?
- 17:35Speaker 4: I mean they are intense. Mean the the fact that
- 17:38Speaker 4: he was so hot out of the gate.
- 17:40Speaker 1: F forwards.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Let's let's say that you he pulled up, he's looking
- 17:44Speaker 4: at you, you roll the window down, and you immediately
- 17:46Speaker 4: take on the demeanor of a Greg Gory in that situation. Oh,
- 17:49Speaker 4: then then you probably would have gone to prison.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Bambies. I was like, bink, bink, anything anything wrong? Think
- 17:56Speaker 1: I didn't. I wasn't trying to mess with this dude
- 17:59Speaker 1: came out hot at me.
- 18:01Speaker 6: It was crazy.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I mean whatever, I didn't get a ticket, but it
- 18:03Speaker 1: was weird. And you have to show cans or anything. Huh.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I look at me today, I don't know what. I'm
- 18:08Speaker 1: just like a substitute art teacher.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Yeah, Greg, what was the question that we had. We
- 18:12Speaker 4: were just kind of talking about it off the air,
- 18:14Speaker 4: like what if you can negotiate? Oh yeah, I figure
- 18:18Speaker 4: how you put it.
- 18:18Speaker 3: If every time you get pulled over, the cop can
- 18:21Speaker 3: just tell you, like, what what are you willing to
- 18:23Speaker 3: do to get out of this ticket?
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm down.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't have to be sexual. Favorite could be.
- 18:27Speaker 4: It could be sexually. It could be something like, oh.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You know what, I'll buy your luck.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Show Well, even though he.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Was white hot, pissed, the police officer that pulled over
- 18:42Speaker 4: Gina Grad on our way into work let her off, Yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 4: with a warning.
- 18:48Speaker 1: You know, she basically ran a red light.
- 18:51Speaker 4: On purpose because I don't feel like stopping.
- 18:54Speaker 1: It was the middle of the night alone.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Will I will tell you I I treat the red
- 19:01Speaker 4: lights at that time of day like stop signs ninety
- 19:04Speaker 4: percent of the time, not all the time. If there's
- 19:07Speaker 4: enough people out, I will just sit there and wait.
- 19:09Speaker 4: But it's one of those things where nobody's around. Yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 4: I look, look, look again, and then go You're safe.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah, there is something to what you're saying, though, Even
- 19:19Speaker 3: at that hour of the day when we go to work.
- 19:21Speaker 3: If I'm at a red light in a two lane
- 19:23Speaker 3: area and I'm sitting next to another car at a
- 19:26Speaker 3: red light, it makes me very younger.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:29Speaker 5: But yeah, here's the thing, though, you still can't get
- 19:31Speaker 5: mad that he got pulled over. Though if you got no,
- 19:34Speaker 5: still broke the law.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I was literally never a part of my story is
- 19:39Speaker 1: up and up and down.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Yeah, here's the other thing.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Clearly, she doesn't listen because I've told there are two
- 19:44Speaker 4: different entrances to the garage of our building. Yeah, okay,
- 19:47Speaker 4: she doesn't like to stop at red lights. Great, I
- 19:50Speaker 4: told her, like, you know what you should do because
- 19:51Speaker 4: I noticed that she was parking on the opposite side
- 19:54Speaker 4: entrance coming into the main entrance. Exactly, there's too many
- 19:58Speaker 4: lights and you'll, especially at the time, you will end
- 20:00Speaker 4: up sitting there a number of times. So there's a
- 20:02Speaker 4: couple different ways to get around that. But if you
- 20:06Speaker 4: go the other way, it's all rights.
- 20:09Speaker 11: It is.
- 20:09Speaker 3: So it's it's you can make rights on red oh
- 20:12Speaker 3: the best.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's what you need to do, your right,
- 20:15Speaker 1: that's what you mean.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Can we go back to the premise of why she
- 20:17Speaker 4: doesn't stop at red lights after dark? Apparently is that
- 20:20Speaker 4: you think dark? So Jeanus, there could be a random
- 20:24Speaker 4: man out.
- 20:25Speaker 3: There, not a bear.
- 20:27Speaker 1: I chose the man. You all know that over you
- 20:30Speaker 1: do you not understand that? You Let's say someone does
- 20:32Speaker 1: walk up to you and starts knocking on your window. You,
- 20:35Speaker 1: at that point can then drive away. You're in a
- 20:37Speaker 1: large vehicle.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Your feet stop working.
- 20:40Speaker 13: I don't know, man, there's some I don't know what
- 20:43Speaker 13: nice neighborhoods you live in, but I've lived in a
- 20:45Speaker 13: lot of places where they will pull on that door.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I've had stuff thrown at my windshield. Look, I've had
- 20:51Speaker 1: my windshield broken in by a crazy homeless person. Yeah,
- 20:54Speaker 1: I said, apparently you loved it so much you welcome it.
- 20:57Speaker 1: But at the same point, I understand that I'm in
- 20:59Speaker 1: a vehicle that can kill that if they try that.
- 21:01Speaker 1: That's also true.
- 21:02Speaker 4: The CBS Evening News they did a story about this
- 21:04Speaker 4: person in Alabama. Now, if you've heard the story, nobody
- 21:07Speaker 4: say anything, because I'm going to make this little game
- 21:09Speaker 4: for you. So this person Alabama was speeding, got pulled over,
- 21:15Speaker 4: and when the state trooper found out that the driver
- 21:17Speaker 4: was struggling financially and couldn't afford a ticket. He spent
- 21:21Speaker 4: fifteen minutes talking to them about different career paths they
- 21:24Speaker 4: could take. They decided that nursing might be a good fit,
- 21:28Speaker 4: and so he let them off with a warning and
- 21:30Speaker 4: wrote on the on the little thing promised me, you
- 21:33Speaker 4: will go to nursing school and slow down and I
- 21:36Speaker 4: won't give you a ticket. Now, my question here was
- 21:38Speaker 4: the driver a man or a woman?
- 21:41Speaker 3: Nobody? Rush?
- 21:43Speaker 1: Was the driver the officer carry the two?
- 21:47Speaker 11: I was.
- 21:49Speaker 1: To be fair, I thought the question was was the
- 21:51Speaker 1: driver reel or a figment of imagination?
- 21:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna say a man.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna say a six foot six yeah, Burley, Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: like more manson than the cops. Yeah.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to say a bodybuilder.
- 22:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Okay, Now the officer is a man, right, drivers a bodybuilder?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:15Speaker 3: Mail, yeah, they say very.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Big and Burley, I'm a male cage fighter, male cage fighter,
- 22:22Speaker 1: Sammy Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Well it's a twenty year old Abbey Rutledge. Oh it's
- 22:29Speaker 4: a woman. This is back in August of twenty twenty two.
- 22:31Speaker 4: She followed through. She graduated last month and she says
- 22:34Speaker 4: that she loves her new jobs and nurse and she's
- 22:37Speaker 4: now working as a surgical technician at a University of
- 22:40Speaker 4: Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, and she invited, I have a
- 22:44Speaker 4: picture right here.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Okay, she's in Alabama six and a half. Oh, in
- 22:49Speaker 1: Alabama six. Really, we're just nice guys. Well, the thing
- 22:53Speaker 1: is the cops in Alabama. Three. Yeah. And remember this
- 22:55Speaker 1: was a couple of years ago. Okay, it was different.
- 22:59Speaker 5: This is her now, yeah, this is her now.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Bump up seven?
- 23:05Speaker 3: What did you say.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Me get closer?
- 23:08Speaker 11: Oh?
- 23:08Speaker 1: Yeah, your eyes? Yeah, she's like a five.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Well, she invited the state trooper to her graduation because
- 23:20Speaker 4: she wanted him to know what a huge impact he
- 23:22Speaker 4: made on her life.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Here's a clip from the CBS Evening News. I think
- 23:27Speaker 1: it was the right person, right Tom, in the right words.
- 23:29Speaker 2: And I told her, I said, well, how about we
- 23:31Speaker 2: talk about it? Then?
- 23:32Speaker 14: As soon as he left, and as soon as I
- 23:34Speaker 14: got to where I was going, I started pushing myself
- 23:36Speaker 14: toward that career.
- 23:37Speaker 4: And now I'm here.
- 23:38Speaker 1: She made my entire career worth she made my entire career.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'll creep into that sound.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Then how about we talk about it then?
- 23:45Speaker 4: Yeah, mcconnor, did she loaden? I know you can't afford it. Financially.
- 23:52Speaker 2: But how about we talk about it.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Then, let's talk about it.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Let's see what pops up in noise.
- 23:58Speaker 1: This guy has that neck classic like toe look where
- 24:01Speaker 1: it's bald, head, scrunched in face.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks like it's a butterbean. It was the yeah,
- 24:07Speaker 4: what's the brother in law's name? And breaking bad. The
- 24:08Speaker 4: guy works as a cop trader, doesn't he kind of
- 24:11Speaker 4: he kind of has that Hanks trader look.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I do love that. By the way, Hank made a
- 24:18Speaker 1: guest appearance in the Tom Cruise film The Firm. I
- 24:21Speaker 1: was watching the other Oh, yes, we talk about it
- 24:24Speaker 1: then Tom Cruise I Want to Kill You was a
- 24:28Speaker 1: good he was one of the he was like one
- 24:29Speaker 1: of the bad guys. There's the main bad guy, who
- 24:31Speaker 1: I think is Rutger Howerd and then the Hanks trader
- 24:34Speaker 1: is like this, his little assistant guy was trying to
- 24:36Speaker 1: film from the nineties. I believe I popped up on
- 24:39Speaker 1: my para, popped up Greg on my parents, my new acquisition.
- 24:44Speaker 2: How about way talk about it then?
- 24:47Speaker 4: Now would this ever work with a dude? Do you
- 24:49Speaker 4: think some guys sitting there going him? Man is real tight?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Right now?
- 24:54Speaker 4: I'm in bad financial shape. Dude, he's gonna be like,
- 24:57Speaker 4: sign here.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yeah, how about way talk about it.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Then let's talk about some career option.
- 25:00Speaker 3: That's what happened in the history of.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I could watch a ticket. You can come back to
- 25:06Speaker 1: the backs. I want you to a nursing school, Sam.
- 25:12Speaker 1: He's gonna call you a five in two years.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Yeah, an Alabama five. I love me a five. Our
- 25:18Speaker 4: More Woody Show is coming up.
- 25:20Speaker 1: More Woody Show is that.
- 25:23Speaker 12: I can handle twelve men and once it's appropriate, even
- 25:27Speaker 12: if I'm small, I can handle a.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Threesome tense ten.
- 25:32Speaker 1: That's how you play the dirty minds game.
- 25:35Speaker 2: We know who you are show, all.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Right, you guys.
- 25:42Speaker 4: You can't please people all the time. It's impossible. It's
- 25:48Speaker 4: got to be the definite definition of insanity or you're pandering.
- 25:52Speaker 4: I'm not interested in either one. And so every once
- 25:56Speaker 4: in a while, it's good, like a good spring cleaning,
- 25:58Speaker 4: or just cleaning things up, like getting rid of all
- 25:59Speaker 4: that crap out of your car. It doesn't it feel
- 26:04Speaker 4: better once you get all the garbage out. And that's
- 26:06Speaker 4: what we do when we have the WOODI Show Crossroads. Everybody, Yes,
- 26:12Speaker 4: time to cut some dead weight from the listener pool.
- 26:28Speaker 4: All right, So these are people that have hit us
- 26:31Speaker 4: up in one way, shape or form, either on The
- 26:32Speaker 4: Woody Show, email, email at the woodieshow dot com could
- 26:35Speaker 4: be on one of our social media platforms.
- 26:37Speaker 3: A lot of times it's when people go to the
- 26:39Speaker 3: station website.
- 26:40Speaker 4: It says contact us and you can send an email
- 26:42Speaker 4: to the station, which they think is being sent to management,
- 26:45Speaker 4: which it is.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, but it also goes to the people who are
- 26:48Speaker 1: on the air. We get a good talking to different management.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah everything.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Wait a minute, oh wait, they really never hit Okay, yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 4: I don't even think they're paying attention to their own stations.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Half the time, there's like one person that's running four stations.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Like you know, it used to be where there was
- 27:04Speaker 4: one program miratter for each station. They would listen to everything, right,
- 27:07Speaker 4: and now it's like a one person for five stations.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Should be fine, that's all right. So on those it's
- 27:13Speaker 4: always one of those of you who do request a reply, right,
- 27:17Speaker 4: and so they think that they're narking us out.
- 27:19Speaker 1: But here we go.
- 27:19Speaker 4: This is one from the station feedback. It's from Faith
- 27:24Speaker 4: subject to wood He Show supervisor. They do not reply,
- 27:29Speaker 4: request a reply and said I would like you to
- 27:31Speaker 4: know that you have a major problem with your morning show,
- 27:34Speaker 4: and that problem is Sea Bass.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I like the show as a whole, but the rest
- 27:39Speaker 3: of the cast. The rest of the cast is great.
- 27:41Speaker 4: I'm loving the addition of Gina Grebb, but Sea Bass
- 27:43Speaker 4: is such a turn off that it's making it difficult,
- 27:45Speaker 4: if not impossible, to listen. He is the worst person
- 27:49Speaker 4: I think I've ever quote met. I could support this
- 27:52Speaker 4: opinion with about a million different examples and why Sea
- 27:55Speaker 4: Bass is the worst, but I'll start with one. During
- 27:58Speaker 4: a recent conversation, Sea Bass, a misogynistic ahole called out
- 28:03Speaker 4: thinking the jury called out Sidney Sweeney for not having
- 28:06Speaker 4: a perfect body. Apparently there was a photo of Sidney's
- 28:10Speaker 4: ass that was not up to par for Sea Bass,
- 28:12Speaker 4: and he felt the need to tell the whole world.
- 28:14Speaker 1: She felt the need to show it first.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Not only is she one of the most gorgeous girls
- 28:18Speaker 4: in the world, but it's even crazier when you see
- 28:21Speaker 4: what Sea Bass looks like while he's making these comments.
- 28:24Speaker 1: It doesn't matter.
- 28:24Speaker 4: He says, he only sleeps with eights and above. But
- 28:27Speaker 4: here's no way this man, who looks like an elderly
- 28:30Speaker 4: lesbian pe teacher with massive eyebags and man boobs gets
- 28:35Speaker 4: anything better than the three or whatever.
- 28:37Speaker 3: He pays for.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I don't say I only sleep with eights and a bus.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I'd say I prefer to and I would only really date.
- 28:44Speaker 4: He's nothing more than a misogynistic creep who thinks that
- 28:48Speaker 4: women and their bodies just exist for him. But keep
- 28:51Speaker 4: lying to yourself, Sea Bass. Keep thinking that you're hot
- 28:54Speaker 4: and cool enough to even breathe the same air as
- 28:56Speaker 4: someone like Sydney Sweeney. Yeah, and take comfort in knowing
- 28:59Speaker 4: that all the other women who hear you on the
- 29:01Speaker 4: air hate your gut. By the way, I'm at least
- 29:04Speaker 4: an eight, by the way, and I wouldn't sleep with
- 29:06Speaker 4: you if you were the last man on earth.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Remember the last girl that says she was an eight?
- 29:10Speaker 3: That is, that's from faith.
- 29:11Speaker 1: If you've lost faith for us, thanks a lost Sea Bass,
- 29:15Speaker 1: damn it. I like, yeah, she's a good right next
- 29:18Speaker 1: the rest of us.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Don't go.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna.
- 29:23Speaker 5: No, I'm not gonna like hate for sea baths. But
- 29:26Speaker 5: if you're gonna make statements like that, you've got to
- 29:28Speaker 5: follow it up.
- 29:29Speaker 1: It's gotta have evidence there, Kate.
- 29:31Speaker 4: If you're gonna if you're gonna claim you're an eight
- 29:33Speaker 4: in the bus. I'm the King of France, I'm the
- 29:37Speaker 4: King of Friends. That's all right, it's a Woody show Crossroads.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Another one sent to the station feedback. It's from a
- 29:46Speaker 4: Dana subject attention station manager. Reply requested, absolutely you got
- 29:52Speaker 4: job two on the air manager. I was listening to
- 29:55Speaker 4: your morning Woody show when I heard something that I
- 29:58Speaker 4: don't think should have been mentioned on the air. Woody
- 30:00Speaker 4: the host said that one of the women on the
- 30:02Speaker 4: show had a vagina that's too wide for a catheter.
- 30:06Speaker 4: When I first heard his comment, I gasped. I thought,
- 30:09Speaker 4: surely he didn't just say what I thought he said that.
- 30:12Speaker 4: I thought, did he mean to say that off the
- 30:14Speaker 4: air and it accidentally made it on air? I was
- 30:17Speaker 4: quite confused, But then I realized that he did mean
- 30:21Speaker 4: to say that on the air, because after that comment,
- 30:22Speaker 4: Woody and the rest of the co host doubled down
- 30:25Speaker 4: and just kept joking about how a catheter would disappear
- 30:28Speaker 4: in her quote, huge vagina. What is extra sad to
- 30:32Speaker 4: me is that the woman who was being talked about
- 30:34Speaker 4: was laughing along with the others, so it just wasn't
- 30:37Speaker 4: the men in the room, but the other women on
- 30:39Speaker 4: the show as well a sense of humor. The wine
- 30:42Speaker 4: vagina jokes were so irritating to me that I ended
- 30:44Speaker 4: up switching the radio station.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Later that night.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I had a realization, and I suggest that you advise
- 30:49Speaker 4: your host to google hip hop violation in the workplace.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Well, you're not a doctor, right, It.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Is illegal for them or anyone to share your personal
- 30:59Speaker 4: health information, especially on the air, for the whole world
- 31:02Speaker 4: to hear.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Yeah, because I know whose vagina's where you tell everyone
- 31:07Speaker 1: how wideer vagina? Yeah, he's got the measurement. Yes, I
- 31:11Speaker 1: had that information.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Okay, Anyway, I can't speak for everyone, but I'm guessing
- 31:14Speaker 4: I'm not the only person who has stopped listening and
- 31:17Speaker 4: is looking for a program that is more welcoming to women.
- 31:20Speaker 4: That is from Dana lost data, right, Yeah, Dana damnites
- 31:27Speaker 4: between you see that and now me with Dana he terrible. Yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 4: Danta and her wife Vagina is yeah wide vagina really
- 31:37Speaker 4: hit home with the Dana.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm glad.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I guess that we had super hot, supermodel listeners so
- 31:42Speaker 1: for at least a little while.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Mess Yeah yeah Moore, those are usually the ones that
- 31:47Speaker 5: complain the most.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Would to show Crossroads. This is one another one sent
- 31:52Speaker 4: to station feedback some of people trying to nark us ount.
- 31:56Speaker 4: This is from Brook subject issue with the Woody Show.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Reply requested, Yes, the Woodie Show is the reason for
- 32:06Speaker 4: my email today. I'm writing in to let your station
- 32:10Speaker 4: directors know before it's too late and you lose all
- 32:12Speaker 4: of your listeners. I'm a licensed therapist. There you go,
- 32:18Speaker 4: and I've been successful in my field for over fifteen years.
- 32:22Speaker 4: I take comfort in knowing that every day I get
- 32:24Speaker 4: to help people make choices that help them become better
- 32:27Speaker 4: versions of themselves, something the Woody Show cannot claim that
- 32:30Speaker 4: it does. It's true if we're being honest, I never
- 32:33Speaker 4: really enjoyed the show. There have been quote moments, but
- 32:36Speaker 4: for the most part, it just seems to be a
- 32:38Speaker 4: bunch of airheaded boys and girls viewing their opinions on
- 32:41Speaker 4: things well, you know, hence a show where we disgusting.
- 32:47Speaker 4: For a specific example, I offer up a recent show
- 32:49Speaker 4: where one of the cast members Sebastian, what's complaining about
- 32:54Speaker 4: how therapy is quote ruining the world?
- 32:57Speaker 2: Madison?
- 32:58Speaker 3: Yeah, Then another one of the air heads.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Menace is that his real name totally chimed in and
- 33:05Speaker 4: referred to therapy as quote the pacification of the world.
- 33:08Speaker 5: It does contribute to, I said, America by the sounds
- 33:11Speaker 5: of it.
- 33:12Speaker 4: As a professional therapist, I can tell you confidently that
- 33:15Speaker 4: neither of these idiots has ever gone to therapy. And
- 33:18Speaker 4: by the ignorance and their rantings, it's clear you should
- 33:21Speaker 4: pay me that they need to.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Come to me for the rest of your life. Yeah.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Not only were they making fun of therapists and people
- 33:28Speaker 4: who use them, but they also berated the other people
- 33:31Speaker 4: in the room when they said that they had been therapy.
- 33:33Speaker 1: They sure did. It made me so mad that tears
- 33:36Speaker 1: filled my eyes. That they have emotionally unstable. What this is?
- 33:43Speaker 1: How this happened? They in touch with their feelings.
- 33:45Speaker 4: These men are the exact reason why we have things
- 33:49Speaker 4: like mass shootings and crimes against the lgbt Q plus community.
- 33:55Speaker 5: We're gonna throw everything in the kitchen sink.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And here is her point. The rise of hate crime
- 34:00Speaker 1: coincided and mass shootings especially coincided exactly with the rise
- 34:03Speaker 1: of therapy. Were interesting. Look that up on Time magazine.
- 34:07Speaker 4: There's the saying around the therapy industry that only hurt people,
- 34:11Speaker 4: hurt people. And I can promise you that Sebastian and
- 34:14Speaker 4: Menace are hurt men who are hurting your ratings.
- 34:17Speaker 1: What we're trying to help people not be go to therapy.
- 34:20Speaker 1: We're saving you money and the stress.
- 34:22Speaker 4: I will never listen to your morning show again. And
- 34:24Speaker 4: I'm sure there are other therapists out there who feel
- 34:27Speaker 4: the same. Get these men to go to therapy or
- 34:30Speaker 4: get them off your show.
- 34:32Speaker 7: Basic response every every single time therapy comes up, you
- 34:37Speaker 7: just need to go to therapy.
- 34:38Speaker 1: That's from Broke.
- 34:41Speaker 5: I mean you don't get it.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I mean they probably they probably have a point somewhere
- 34:44Speaker 1: in there.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we lost brook. Don't worry everybody.
- 34:50Speaker 5: You got plenty of people to scam.
- 34:51Speaker 11: You know.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It's almost like every time you criticize a cult, they say, well,
- 34:57Speaker 1: the reason you don't know that you don't you criticize
- 34:58Speaker 1: this is because you are in the cult. Tell weird
- 35:02Speaker 1: Strange all right here, I'll give you one more.
- 35:04Speaker 5: And we also said that it's not everybody that doesn't
- 35:07Speaker 5: need there the vast.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Majority what he showed Crossroads.
- 35:12Speaker 4: This one sent to our email the show email email
- 35:15Speaker 4: at the Whatdieshow dot Com from Brian who spells it
- 35:17Speaker 4: with the why.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Of subject lost Another listener don if.
- 35:23Speaker 4: You care, He says, I'm going to make this quick
- 35:27Speaker 4: because I don't believe in wasting my time on lost causes,
- 35:30Speaker 4: and your show has become the definition of a lost cause.
- 35:34Speaker 4: I've listened to the show on and off for the
- 35:35Speaker 4: past couple of years, and I've decided that I've wasted
- 35:38Speaker 4: enough of my time listening to this crap.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Your show sucks.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Not only is it not funny, it's not engaging, it's
- 35:44Speaker 4: not not provoking or even entertaining in the slightest provoking
- 35:48Speaker 4: this email.
- 35:48Speaker 1: The final struggle was.
- 35:51Speaker 4: One Friday morning during the Fail Stories, which is what
- 35:54Speaker 4: you should call your entire show.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Yeah got me, Greg, Thanks a lot.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Greg made a comment mocking a child who was accidentally
- 36:05Speaker 4: served alcohol, and at one point he even pretended to
- 36:07Speaker 4: be the kid and said, young mommy, I love alcohol.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Now I'm hooked for life. Well, to be fair, that
- 36:13Speaker 1: was Greg recounting his child of myself.
- 36:17Speaker 4: Is that really something that a grown man should be
- 36:20Speaker 4: joking about on the radio. Do you forget that children
- 36:23Speaker 4: listen to the radio as well. It's not funny to
- 36:25Speaker 4: glorify underage drinking. That's just despicable. Thank god, thank god
- 36:31Speaker 4: that Greg is gay and can't have children.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Thank God.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Definitely raised an alcoholic. He would definitely raise an alcoholic
- 36:40Speaker 4: and ruin a child's life. Thank God that gay people
- 36:43Speaker 4: can't get married and or have kids.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Oh wait, hey Greg, are you gay? Are you normal? Yeah?
- 36:49Speaker 1: I'm gay.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Well you can't have kids. You can get kids, child
- 36:55Speaker 4: you could procure, you could acquire them.
- 36:57Speaker 3: I could make one.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't know, just needs an egg exactly. Yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 1: he can get eggs, that's true. You could father one. Yeah.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that reminds me of what Sammy said the other night.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Remember we were like, oh, is he gay? No, he's married.
- 37:11Speaker 8: Yeah, kid, I meant to say to a woman.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you just left the key factor out.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Bride says.
- 37:18Speaker 4: I pray for the child and family who had to
- 37:20Speaker 4: experience this terrible event, and I pray even harder the
- 37:23Speaker 4: powers that be see this email. And at the very
- 37:25Speaker 4: least Greg has shown the way to the unemployment.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Line that would drive me to drink more. That's from Brian.
- 37:33Speaker 3: You guys, you lost his bride.
- 37:36Speaker 4: I know, Brian with a y have a drink, Brian, Yeah, cheers.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I mean having a wider name is pretty good.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Yeah, how game with your parents? He couldn't have gay
- 37:50Speaker 3: parents because gays can't have kids. Can acquire were going
- 37:53Speaker 3: to acquire them?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yeah? Buy them there. When you show Crossroads, everybody says,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I taking a big dump?
- 37:58Speaker 3: Could you be a lighter? Too much?
- 38:02Speaker 1: Is all right?
- 38:06Speaker 4: Well this is a very exciting day. The Golden Bachelor.
- 38:12Speaker 4: We already had a Golden Bachelor and they're broken up, right, Well,
- 38:17Speaker 4: they always skip right, so that's probably a safe yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 4: but I thought there was something where they didn't. It
- 38:22Speaker 4: didn't work out any Gary whatever, his name was, the
- 38:26Speaker 4: gear Bear. And now the woman who's the Golden Bachelorette,
- 38:32Speaker 4: she was on the Golden Bachelor, and so now she's
- 38:36Speaker 4: she's the one who's going to go through all these
- 38:38Speaker 4: like old balls.
- 38:41Speaker 1: We pluck one out of the chorus and maybe yeah one.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Right, yeah exactly, And so uh, today you're on the
- 38:48Speaker 4: show though, because every time we do like a bachelor bacherette,
- 38:50Speaker 4: we always have a bachelor bacherette. But it's all golden,
- 38:54Speaker 4: golden folks, the gray hairs, the blue hairs, wherever you
- 38:57Speaker 4: want to call them. And Sea Bass is on these
- 39:00Speaker 4: websites because there's like these old ladies who do webcam
- 39:02Speaker 4: stuck because.
- 39:03Speaker 1: It's tough for me to go out on the street,
- 39:04Speaker 1: Gina and find single sixty two year olds who want
- 39:09Speaker 1: to get it, who want to be but it's easier
- 39:10Speaker 1: to do that online. Sure, when they're behind a webcam
- 39:13Speaker 1: and they're sultry and they're very polite. I'm super polite,
- 39:17Speaker 1: so very nice. He's not like trolling them or anything.
- 39:19Speaker 1: So the way it works is they're on camera and
- 39:21Speaker 1: I can only type through a text is I can't
- 39:24Speaker 1: talk to them normally, so they'll you'll see the little message,
- 39:27Speaker 1: and I can also donate money to them, so you'll
- 39:30Speaker 1: watch tips. What you'll hear, Gina, you'll hear like coins,
- 39:32Speaker 1: which it's called a coins just means a dollar, and
- 39:35Speaker 1: you'll hear me having a conversation with them and then
- 39:37Speaker 1: them responding to me in real life.
- 39:39Speaker 4: So this is way more interesting than the Golden bachlor
- 39:42Speaker 4: red is.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get to know these ladies. One
- 39:45Speaker 1: thing to keep in mind. One thing to keep in
- 39:47Speaker 1: mind is a lot of these ladies have this new
- 39:49Speaker 1: fangled system where every time I give them money tips coins,
- 39:54Speaker 1: their personal vibrating device will activate yeah, it triggers their device,
- 39:57Speaker 1: so you might wonder why they're reacting in such a
- 39:59Speaker 1: strong a dollar. So I went on and I found
- 40:03Speaker 1: this lady Marcy. She was in jolly old England, y
- 40:06Speaker 1: old England, and I just, uh, I think I surprised
- 40:09Speaker 1: her and woke her up something like that.
- 40:11Speaker 2: All right, hello, how are you?
- 40:14Speaker 6: Hello? Love?
- 40:16Speaker 1: Oh but who you got me? Good days?
- 40:27Speaker 15: Just got up?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Oh my god? How about that for a wake up call? Yeah,
- 40:31Speaker 1: you're not a Sebastian Hello, making a rain out the gate?
- 40:35Speaker 4: Ye.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Well that's because a lot of guys, because these are
- 40:37Speaker 1: all public, public chat roots. Any guy can go out
- 40:40Speaker 1: there and say, hey, sure, and that's what these ladies
- 40:42Speaker 1: are dealing with. They're dealing with God, well you like you?
- 40:45Speaker 1: Like here he comes in like really sweet and with
- 40:49Speaker 1: a with a tip, Oh but who you got me
- 40:57Speaker 1: good day? So yeah, man, it helps to come out
- 41:01Speaker 1: the gate with some cash. That way they know you're
- 41:03Speaker 1: se what are we talking? That's just a dollar between
- 41:06Speaker 1: one of the usually tip one three or five dollars
- 41:08Speaker 1: a little quick buttons right there. I didn't kill her
- 41:10Speaker 1: with five bucks to do that on the internet, just
- 41:12Speaker 1: for a dollar. Yeah, By the way, they only get
- 41:15Speaker 1: like a third of this one.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Wow.
- 41:17Speaker 1: So she walks into her kitchen, which is by the way,
- 41:20Speaker 1: in the process of repainting Greg walking with her, walking
- 41:23Speaker 1: around with and it just so happened that she's gonna
- 41:26Speaker 1: make some food. So it's dinner time there. So she
- 41:29Speaker 1: pulls out of the fridge a like one of those
- 41:31Speaker 1: sous vid packs like the tree prepared, and these are
- 41:34Speaker 1: burnt ends with barbecue sauce.
- 41:36Speaker 3: So I mean I like burn ends.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so she's I'm surprised I have those in
- 41:40Speaker 1: ye old England. You think barbecue wouldn't be huge over there,
- 41:42Speaker 1: but you know, it's the big world these days. So
- 41:45Speaker 1: here we are with Mary or Marcy, just gonna cook
- 41:48Speaker 1: some burn ends and brilliant so you can.
- 42:00Speaker 10: Wait.
- 42:01Speaker 4: So her device goes into the kitchen, into her right,
- 42:04Speaker 4: she's carry her lapaptop with her.
- 42:07Speaker 1: The laptop, Yeah, it's it's bluetoothed into the laptop or.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Like vibrating panties. Like what does she does?
- 42:14Speaker 1: She have hands to prepare marble. So it's it's basically
- 42:17Speaker 1: a mini it's like a mini egg essentially, and it's
- 42:20Speaker 1: got a little tail that so it doesn't get lost Okay,
- 42:26Speaker 1: it's a little pink silicone egg. And they'll show you
- 42:27Speaker 1: the tail.
- 42:34Speaker 16: And then I'm going to put in the drive right
- 42:35Speaker 16: to crunch them up a little bit, because then you've
- 42:38Speaker 16: got barbecue sauce to put over them.
- 42:42Speaker 1: It's my favorite. She's never gonna get to eat. Man.
- 42:52Speaker 1: They just go about their day. They're not like there's
- 42:55Speaker 1: a lot of yeah, this is this, we're getting a treat.
- 42:57Speaker 1: G Typically they're they're quote said, is just their bed.
- 43:01Speaker 1: And you see a bed and they got some lights
- 43:03Speaker 1: and then some vibrators and dildos and stuff. So rarely
- 43:06Speaker 1: do you get to walk through someone's house as we
- 43:07Speaker 1: are now watching the microwave Burst Special Tree.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 1: And she and there's a thing, a little bit of
- 43:12Speaker 1: a vocabulary. I never like, I got British kids. I
- 43:15Speaker 1: never heard the term dry friar, which I guess is
- 43:17Speaker 1: air frar. So she microwaves the burnt ends, it throws
- 43:21Speaker 1: them in the dry friar to crisp them up, then
- 43:22Speaker 1: tosses them. She's a real gormand this this Marci. So
- 43:27Speaker 1: she gets to cook in the burn ends and says,
- 43:29Speaker 1: oh they smell nice.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I really good.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Oh oh I smell lovely.
- 43:38Speaker 6: What is your famorite memory from you?
- 43:46Speaker 1: That was the seventies memory. Oh, that's so cool because
- 43:52Speaker 1: you know these are old people, so I want to
- 43:53Speaker 1: talked about old things.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Sure, but that's your favorite memory from the family.
- 43:57Speaker 1: That's that's so cute. This is kind of sort of
- 43:59Speaker 1: like your Maurice gregg is, she said, her mom. So
- 44:01Speaker 1: when it was time for dinner, her mom would send
- 44:04Speaker 1: little little baby, little girl Marcy to the pub to
- 44:07Speaker 1: go collect her father for dinner. So British, it's so cute. Yeah,
- 44:12Speaker 1: that's the door she's cutting food. Yeah, the whole time
- 44:17Speaker 1: she's in like like a nighty lingerie and she's rubbing
- 44:20Speaker 1: her you know things.
- 44:21Speaker 3: This is what you show eight Golden Bachelorette.
- 44:23Speaker 1: So she's got a great memory from the seventies. Let's
- 44:25Speaker 1: keep talking. Find out like pop culture other things she
- 44:28Speaker 1: remembers from her childhood.
- 44:29Speaker 16: Oh, Bay City rollers, Sebastian by City rollers, city rollers
- 44:36Speaker 16: from seventy have many I've just we called where you
- 44:43Speaker 16: used to live after school with my mates. My mom
- 44:47Speaker 16: give us two pence and we'd go over to the
- 44:50Speaker 16: chip shop.
- 44:55Speaker 2: And by they don't said it.
- 44:57Speaker 16: Now you know that you get off the butter but
- 45:02Speaker 16: bits and we used to get it back a butter
- 45:04Speaker 16: bas with.
- 45:05Speaker 2: A pickle down, and it was.
- 45:13Speaker 1: You can get some baits that. Yeah, that sounds like
- 45:16Speaker 1: a tail from the eighteen seventies picked.
- 45:19Speaker 13: Butter bitstter bits bit bits.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Can anyone tell?
- 45:25Speaker 8: Can you tell?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Is this dialect of her accent like a trashy one?
- 45:29Speaker 1: But I believe it is because she's really dropping the
- 45:31Speaker 1: tea hard? Okay, bits, and I found butter toffee. I
- 45:35Speaker 1: can't find it a butter like Long John Silver. Yeah,
- 45:38Speaker 1: the batter bitch.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Because she said she.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Went to a chip shop, right, you got the fried pickle.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Okay, this is all, but I thought chip shops chips
- 45:46Speaker 5: would be French fries.
- 45:47Speaker 11: Right.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Also, that's what happens in Long John Silver picklet like
- 45:53Speaker 4: batter pieces that the brackles.
- 46:00Speaker 1: X points. She's telling me this cute childhood story while
- 46:03Speaker 1: she's okay, well she brought it. I know that not
- 46:07Speaker 1: everyone knows who the Bas City Rollers are, so to you, well,
- 46:12Speaker 1: that's exactly have theyre like a pop sort of boy
- 46:14Speaker 1: group girl group back in the seventies. Here he is
- 46:16Speaker 1: their biggest song. Yeah, I remember being that satisfying Yeah,
- 46:53Speaker 1: it's It's Woody Show, a golden bachelott We're gonna take
- 46:56Speaker 1: a quick break. We'll come back.
- 46:57Speaker 4: We still have another bachelorette to meet, Yes, ma'am, very exciting.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Hello to the Woody Show.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Chris Barnell here with a video message.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Hi. I'm Greg Gory. I love respect and I'm quite
- 47:13Speaker 1: jealous of Sea Bass. Let's spend the weekend in Santa Barbara.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I have a wide selection of cabernets to choose from.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Yeah, the Woody Show.
- 47:24Speaker 1: That'll always be a classic. We'll get them in studio someday.
- 47:28Speaker 1: All right, So a golden bachelorette on ABC.
- 47:31Speaker 4: We have a golden bachelorette here on The Woody Show,
- 47:34Speaker 4: which you heard before the break, Sea Bass chatted up
- 47:37Speaker 4: with with Marci living old time, Yeah, making barbecue, talking
- 47:42Speaker 4: about you know, BA City rollers and she must have
- 47:46Speaker 4: made I mean, I don't know about what ten bucks.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Just that conversation at least.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that's worth your time.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Yeah, you just put your credit card and then it
- 47:53Speaker 4: just takes it from that, Yeah, and it goes nuts
- 47:56Speaker 4: on a chuck of cheese. You can like power up
- 47:58Speaker 4: your player's card.
- 48:00Speaker 5: Amen, Look like, what's the show up?
- 48:01Speaker 3: About.
- 48:01Speaker 1: That's a good question. I think it's guilt dot com check.
- 48:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I gotta call your credit card company.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Yeah, well, we still have one more nice old lady
- 48:10Speaker 4: to meet here for wood. He show a golden batch
- 48:12Speaker 4: the red.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Yeah, let's talk to Cammy. See what she's up to.
- 48:15Speaker 1: This will last all.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Thank you, Sevesti.
- 48:21Speaker 2: How are you.
- 48:26Speaker 6: Today?
- 48:27Speaker 1: Just taking my mom to a doctor's appointment, Sebastian. She
- 48:33Speaker 1: lives with me, so I take her to her doctors.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Talk about talking to your mom to the doctor. So
- 48:42Speaker 1: she's in the next room, her really elderly mother, because she's.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Already wouldn't it behoove them to just lie a little bit.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Up to today? Oh, thinking about you, I'm going to
- 48:54Speaker 1: go to pilates and I'm a freesome right getting wax
- 48:58Speaker 1: and then I'm not getting.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Going to the doctor.
- 49:02Speaker 11: Make it.
- 49:02Speaker 1: We're microwaving barbecue, sitting a Gordon removed. But because I care,
- 49:07Speaker 1: because again I'm not this some creep on the air,
- 49:10Speaker 1: A nice guy. I'm gonna let's talk more about your
- 49:12Speaker 1: mom and or doctor's appointment.
- 49:14Speaker 13: She has an eye appointment today because she had cataract surgery, so.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Checking her out to make sure.
- 49:21Speaker 6: It's Okay, do your mother do cam shows?
- 49:27Speaker 1: No, mom doesn't do cam shows.
- 49:31Speaker 6: She would probably love it.
- 49:41Speaker 1: God, my mom's got a big wreck a teacher how
- 49:46Speaker 1: to work the computer. She can't see it because the cataracts.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, Like lady, lie a little bit. Yeah,
- 49:56Speaker 1: where's your creativity? You know? I just want to hear you.
- 50:00Speaker 3: You have a little something of the imagination. Greg, you
- 50:02Speaker 3: just did the off the top.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Of your head. I'm just you know, I'm just a nympho.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Myself.
- 50:10Speaker 1: All right, this is this is Cammy again. She knows
- 50:12Speaker 1: something about the seventies, so she's a golden Bacheloretta. Let's
- 50:16Speaker 1: talk about that.
- 50:16Speaker 6: Well, it is your fammory from nine, and probably.
- 50:21Speaker 13: The innocence of what things were like back then compared
- 50:25Speaker 13: to now, the fact that all the kids were respectful, they.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Didn't talk back. There's a lot of things about that time.
- 50:33Speaker 2: It was way better.
- 50:35Speaker 1: I sound like an old geezer. Okay, she's not even
- 50:45Speaker 1: a good actress with dad, and she has emphysema.
- 50:48Speaker 13: I don't understand how she doesn't see the irony of
- 50:51Speaker 13: saying things were more innocent back then.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Well, she's doing a cam show.
- 50:56Speaker 5: It's not like she's not.
- 50:58Speaker 1: She's not serving you know, kids down at the orphan,
- 51:00Speaker 1: She's participating in the lack of innodents exactly. Yeah.
- 51:03Speaker 4: But Marcie, I think was way more convincing because you
- 51:07Speaker 4: could tell that she was getting knocked to her feet
- 51:09Speaker 4: almost hello love.
- 51:17Speaker 1: It was like way better. It's a pleasure of the gut. Yeah,
- 51:22Speaker 1: you're not used proper Oh yeah, I love.
- 51:26Speaker 4: Well, there you go. That is Woody Show. A Golden
- 51:29Speaker 4: Bachelorette everybody, I swear. Yeah, the Golden Bachelorette season moves forward,
- 51:38Speaker 4: so will we with.
- 51:39Speaker 3: The future rounds.
- 51:42Speaker 1: We're gonna singing a quick break. We got some more
- 51:47Speaker 1: Wooden Show come out. Hang on, so we have some.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Audio that we're gonna play for you.
- 51:57Speaker 4: Morgan went to a French bulldog convention Lucky or a
- 52:02Speaker 4: meetup meet up, which I'm surprised Menace didn't go. See
- 52:05Speaker 4: Beast was supposed to go, but he had a conflicting thing.
- 52:08Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 52:08Speaker 4: That was the same time that this French bulldog meetup
- 52:11Speaker 4: was happening. Yeah, I was happening during the EEDC weekend.
- 52:14Speaker 4: Menace was already out doing that and see best forget
- 52:17Speaker 4: where he was. But anyway, Morgan was happy to go
- 52:21Speaker 4: to go cover that and talk to people with the
- 52:22Speaker 4: world's ugliest dogs, and no, they're not have the cutest.
- 52:26Speaker 4: And there's there's more of a wrinkle to this one.
- 52:28Speaker 4: I mean, all these conventions are interesting in their own way.
- 52:31Speaker 3: This one certainly was.
- 52:32Speaker 1: And we'll explain that to you.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Because these things are expandsive.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Got to be created.
- 52:40Speaker 3: I've not heard one that's not menace.
- 52:43Speaker 1: They can be, you know not.
- 52:45Speaker 4: I've not heard a reasonable price that anybody's paid for
- 52:48Speaker 4: a French bulldog yet.
- 52:49Speaker 7: Obviously a lot of people ask me about French bulldogs
- 52:51Speaker 7: since I have them, and I always say, you know what,
- 52:54Speaker 7: French bulldogs are kind of like dog ferraris. If you
- 52:57Speaker 7: maintain them, they they can't you know, the price is
- 53:02Speaker 7: like not crazy out of control. But if you don't,
- 53:04Speaker 7: it's going to cost you a lot of money. Like them, Yeah,
- 53:08Speaker 7: if you feed them properly, and that's part of them, that's.
- 53:11Speaker 4: That's not even the price I was I was talking
- 53:13Speaker 4: about just getting them, Yeah, yeah, yeah, driving one off
- 53:16Speaker 4: a lot.
- 53:16Speaker 5: Yeah, a Ferrari costs a lot of money get and
- 53:19Speaker 5: it costs a lot of money to maintain.
- 53:21Speaker 1: So he's agreeing with you.
- 53:22Speaker 4: Yeah, right, all right, well we'll see what Morgan found
- 53:24Speaker 4: at the French bulldog meetup. How much would you pay
- 53:27Speaker 4: for that stupid French bulldog? Next on the Woody Show, Next.
- 53:35Speaker 3: The wood Show.
- 53:37Speaker 4: All right, welcome back everybody. It is the Woody Show
- 53:42Speaker 4: and all the times for men Us to walk out
- 53:43Speaker 4: of the studio. It's right, we're going to talk about
- 53:45Speaker 4: a French bulldog convention.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Almost have special materials.
- 53:51Speaker 4: If only he had a copy of the schedule for
- 53:53Speaker 4: the show, he would have he would have seen it
- 53:56Speaker 4: would have been okay, Menace, of all the times.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Where'd you go?
- 54:00Speaker 5: Morgan gave me something?
- 54:03Speaker 3: So, yeah, Morgan went out to a French bulldog is
- 54:07Speaker 3: it like?
- 54:08Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 54:08Speaker 3: What is it like?
- 54:09Speaker 1: A meetup or convene?
- 54:10Speaker 12: Like a full on convention, awards, ceremony, trophies and a
- 54:14Speaker 12: dog show.
- 54:15Speaker 8: There was merch you could.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Buy just for French bulldogs.
- 54:20Speaker 1: This was the reason this was on MENACE's radar, was
- 54:22Speaker 1: that I would have gone to but he got to
- 54:24Speaker 1: put postponed. Is that it was a there's a certain clientele,
- 54:27Speaker 1: high society that would be the hood. They really embraced
- 54:31Speaker 1: French bulldogs and the whole all bulldog breeds in fact
- 54:34Speaker 1: or really have been embraced by the hood, and that
- 54:36Speaker 1: was what said because the flyers for this were like
- 54:38Speaker 1: they look like like Friday Night, Club Night, the old.
- 54:41Speaker 5: Cash Money record album.
- 54:44Speaker 4: Yeah, it wasn't just awards. I mean they had all
- 54:47Speaker 4: kinds of stuff going on there.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Celebration French sheet.
- 54:50Speaker 12: Yeah, they were selling some apparel and then you know
- 54:53Speaker 12: Coolstick magazine, Star Bully magazine.
- 54:57Speaker 8: Yeah, like a world Star hip hop I think is
- 54:59Speaker 8: what they're going on.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly. They called this the only frenchies meet up,
- 55:03Speaker 1: like only fans, right, it's all like nineties or two
- 55:07Speaker 1: thousand style club flyer.
- 55:08Speaker 4: Yes, there was probably a station there where you can
- 55:10Speaker 4: get your French bulldog's picture air brushed onto a T shirt,
- 55:16Speaker 4: air brushed shirt.
- 55:17Speaker 1: It's always big in the hood.
- 55:19Speaker 8: Thrown chair that everyone likes taking pictures on these days.
- 55:21Speaker 1: I got a thrown chair, let me put my I
- 55:23Speaker 1: sent a picture. It is like Charlotte to God.
- 55:27Speaker 8: I sent a picture to minutes when I was there,
- 55:30Speaker 8: But I found this guy.
- 55:31Speaker 12: He had a what do you call it, like a ring,
- 55:33Speaker 12: but it's like goes all across his Yeah, it's all real,
- 55:38Speaker 12: but it was like only French cheese.
- 55:42Speaker 8: Sick.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Have you been to any of these French bulldog meet
- 55:45Speaker 1: up things?
- 55:46Speaker 7: I have not, no, because they just recently became on
- 55:49Speaker 7: our radar. I mean, I mean I've seen them on
- 55:53Speaker 7: social media, but there's never been one close to us.
- 55:56Speaker 4: So Morgan was there covering the French Bulldog meet up,
- 56:00Speaker 4: the French Bulldog whatever convention class and you were and
- 56:04Speaker 4: you were talking to people. Now, we have a game
- 56:06Speaker 4: that we're going to play, Yes, and I think we've
- 56:08Speaker 4: played a game like this before.
- 56:10Speaker 8: I think it's a menace original right, a menace original game.
- 56:14Speaker 3: How much for that stupid What was the price for
- 56:17Speaker 3: that stuff? It's very different?
- 56:21Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I asked people, how much did you pay
- 56:24Speaker 8: for that dumb French bulldog?
- 56:25Speaker 1: Oh? Okay, did you say it that way? I absolutely
- 56:28Speaker 1: the very sensitive French bulldog community.
- 56:30Speaker 12: You know something about this community. I felt really comfortable
- 56:33Speaker 12: around them. I had no problem saying it to.
- 56:35Speaker 4: People who for nothing and somebody goes to punch you.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Now e've ben doing like.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Fight you just set him back?
- 56:42Speaker 5: All right?
- 56:42Speaker 1: Well, here's the first person who is this?
- 56:44Speaker 12: So this woman's name is Amy, and I'm starting with
- 56:46Speaker 12: her because this is where I started in my day.
- 56:49Speaker 12: And pro tip if you're at an event, don't go
- 56:52Speaker 12: right by the people with the mics because then you
- 56:54Speaker 12: know there's a lot of loud background, background noise, blah
- 56:56Speaker 12: blah blah. So this is when I was actually inside
- 56:58Speaker 12: the little convention area, Okay, before I made my way outside.
- 57:01Speaker 8: But this is the most passionate woman I met that day.
- 57:04Speaker 3: Okay, this is Amy, Amy.
- 57:05Speaker 8: What's your dog's name?
- 57:06Speaker 17: Peter Pett's a full pink koi as ankoi fish. The
- 57:12Speaker 17: husky geen and the marle gene have to come together
- 57:16Speaker 17: to make a toy which needs to get produced oil
- 57:19Speaker 17: or husky.
- 57:20Speaker 3: See back to the lab.
- 57:22Speaker 4: That's one of the things we've always talked about these dogs,
- 57:24Speaker 4: like these dogs are created in.
- 57:26Speaker 7: A yeah, but happening lately and I think this is
- 57:29Speaker 7: what she's alluding to or getting to, is in the
- 57:32Speaker 7: French bulldog community, they're starting to make fluffy.
- 57:34Speaker 5: French bulldog Those are cut hair, not short hair, long hair.
- 57:39Speaker 4: French's super cue. When you're in the lab, you can
- 57:42Speaker 4: engineer them any way you want. Yeah, they're going to
- 57:44Speaker 4: start doing this with babies, right, So, yeah, they are.
- 57:47Speaker 1: So they call them cooi because it looks like coy pondfish.
- 57:49Speaker 4: Yeah, they're actually cuter than the normal.
- 57:52Speaker 1: When they want fat an orange, they're like the spotted ones,
- 57:55Speaker 1: like black and white, the kind of cute.
- 57:58Speaker 12: Back to amy, But what do you say to people
- 58:00Speaker 12: are mad like, oh, they can't breathe, they can't you
- 58:02Speaker 12: know function?
- 58:03Speaker 17: Oh well, I just had two natural deliveries. My vet
- 58:07Speaker 17: told me only ten percent survive and.
- 58:10Speaker 6: It's a pendlessness.
- 58:11Speaker 1: It lost the whopping business.
- 58:12Speaker 17: Yes, we had complications. One got stuck because the other
- 58:16Speaker 17: one came and deformed. I'm nothing, everything works out. The
- 58:19Speaker 17: other delivery went smooth, but the first one that had
- 58:23Speaker 17: a deformed baby and it got stuck. Thank god, because
- 58:26Speaker 17: my bet did not want to give me pe tocin
- 58:28Speaker 17: or oxytocin.
- 58:29Speaker 1: He said, I'll give it for she'll your friend.
- 58:32Speaker 5: She's, oh, why not friend?
- 58:33Speaker 17: She's oh, because they misuse it.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Oh, but they don't misuse it and other dogs that
- 58:37Speaker 1: thank you. That sounds Brits sounds insane.
- 58:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I know you so like what she was just saying, spearmongers.
- 58:45Speaker 1: This is just one question.
- 58:47Speaker 8: She just went rolling.
- 58:48Speaker 1: So the vet won't give them pain medications because people
- 58:51Speaker 1: who own French bulldogs tend to steal it.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Turn around and sell or use it themselves.
- 58:57Speaker 4: These are awful, awful people who, right, it's one step
- 59:01Speaker 4: away from breaking into that's office to steal this stuff
- 59:04Speaker 4: to then turn around and sell.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you'll be at least I'm you're paying you for it.
- 59:08Speaker 8: Yeah, so I had another contact.
- 59:12Speaker 17: You did give us me too, said we're able to
- 59:14Speaker 17: take out that that baby that was not formed. You
- 59:17Speaker 17: stick in your thumb, you in one side, your index finger,
- 59:21Speaker 17: your middle finger the other side.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Once you grab your shoulders to.
- 59:24Speaker 17: Pull with all your mic It doesn't matter meaning to
- 59:27Speaker 17: sacrifice the baby, but save the mother and the rest.
- 59:29Speaker 17: And you know what, that baby came out alive.
- 59:31Speaker 1: And so did the next one.
- 59:32Speaker 8: Oh my god, give me. I gave her a high five.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Give into the fear.
- 59:35Speaker 12: So how much did you pay for that dumb French bulldog?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Wait to introduce you to my new French bulldog. Is
- 59:43Speaker 1: name's mush. Yeah, inesting the one that survived. I'm guessing right.
- 59:49Speaker 1: By the way, the question was does your French bulldog breathe? Okay?
- 59:52Speaker 8: You know, the question was what do you have to
- 59:54Speaker 8: say to people that think, you know haters?
- 59:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and the haters haters just got stronger. Yeah, well
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: these are awful, you know, because people say this about everybody.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Any abuser will always say, but I love my fill
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: in the blank animal kid. Whatever doesn't matter. You're still
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: an abuse.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: Why thing is why she hung up on the National
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: birth If she's having all these issues, she's.
- 1:00:13Speaker 12: Well, we had a long combo. I had to cut
- 1:00:15Speaker 12: it out. But she was expecting another berth with.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna spit on my fingers real quick.
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: I think she had, you know, birth on the brain.
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: She was ready to go.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: So how much did Amy pay for her dumb French bulldog?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: The number I always heard was like four grand, but
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I think after inflation we're probably like, I'll say six grand.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: But do you think she paid that much because she
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: clearly has access to people who are breeding them, she
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: has like the like the inside.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I guess I'm saying she probably got a deal. It's
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: probably only eight thousands for it.
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: Let's go to the one person who's got a French bulldog, Manna,
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: so we'll start with you.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: I'm thinking like, yeah, she's part of the process, so
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: she she got a deal. So I'm thinking, like two
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: thousand is the.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Number we're talking about what she paid for a stud
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: fees or what she paid for her original French bull dog.
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: Right, It's all I asked is what she paid for
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: her dog?
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Yeah, how much does she pay for a dog? Okay,
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: so Menace is two thousand. Uh, it doesn't sound like
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: she has much more than two thousand dollars, So I
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: will I will go twenty two hundred dollars.
- 1:01:24Speaker 13: I think Menace is right, I think she has a plug.
- 1:01:26Speaker 13: So I'm gonna say the discounted price of twelve hundred.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: All right, I'm gonna go out on a major limit.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Say she paid nothing, she was doing somebody in favor,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: or she's.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: Very involved in the projects.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: She's in the community.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: I'll say three thousand, three thousand Sea Mass Yeah, I'll
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: go with six six thousand. All right, how much did
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: Amy pay for this dumb French bulldog?
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: So?
- 1:01:47Speaker 12: How much did you pay for that dumb French bulldog?
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Straight out?
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: Twenty thousand, straight.
- 1:01:53Speaker 12: Up, no more, no less, no more, no less.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: But it was worth it, So twenty thousand, because.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: Well, she did mention that she was paying five hundred
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: dollars a day for somebody to take care of it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: But I didn't really think she was actually chewing that.
- 1:02:07Speaker 12: I like that, and I don't know, you know, the
- 1:02:10Speaker 12: French bulldog stuff, but it must be a super rare breed.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I think it was like a coy. Did she look
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: like a woman of means? Again?
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: And they're all walking around with all these expensive dogs.
- 1:02:27Speaker 10: So.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: People, you know, don't look like they have money.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Bill it's known for his Yeah, right, but I think
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I think you picked up yeah, exactly, all right.
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: So Morgan is at the Frenchie Convention, the Frenchy meet up.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: And who is this next person that you talked to?
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: This is THEO And I noticed him because he had
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: some some shiny stuff.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: In his teeth.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the girl going, yeah, THEO.
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: I got closer.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: You got a grill on?
- 1:02:55Speaker 12: How much did the grill cost you?
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: It was just like two mans. This is a pullout.
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: Oh what's your Frindchie's name?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: This is Rice Cake aka mister Niongao. He's from China,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: legit from China. Yeah, direct import, Grand Champion line all
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the way. Five five five.
- 1:03:11Speaker 12: Generations up, five generations up.
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: Did he win any awards today?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: He didn't yet, but we you know, we got till
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: nine pm to night. We're still competing.
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: And how old is here?
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: He is eighteen months.
- 1:03:24Speaker 12: Sorry to be weird, but those are hanging man. Is
- 1:03:27Speaker 12: that like a pride thing with French bulldogs or how
- 1:03:30Speaker 12: do you feel about that?
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: If there was a competition, he would take that home.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: He's first place for that.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: What does he like to do in his free times?
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: He play with balls?
- 1:03:38Speaker 17: What does he do?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: He just lounges, you know. He catch him at the gym,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: you know, doing his crunches. Look at him, he's a
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: little gorilla.
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: Do you take him everywhere with you?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Everywhere? We have a weird code penut relationship.
- 1:03:50Speaker 12: Do you ever get in trouble like taking him to
- 1:03:52Speaker 12: grocery stores and stuff?
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: No? I keep a service vest on him. Yeah, procedure
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: any of that.
- 1:04:00Speaker 12: So one last question, how much did you pay for
- 1:04:02Speaker 12: this dumb French bulldog?
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: So I have a suicide pack with my dog, and
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: yet you know what, I don't have.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Service vest by the way, which is which is a
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: misdemeanor in many states to a fake service animal. Uh well,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he said it was a little gorilla. That's what I'm
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: noticing about these hood French bulldog's menace is they're extra rapped.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: They breed them so that they they I don't know
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: how they get off the ground. Yeah, well, you're look
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: like the American bulldog is. They cross them with frenchy
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: so now they're these massively jack tiny little like rolls
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: of fat.
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: And in another these guys like we just interviewed, they
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: they beef with other breeders on social media and they
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: talk smack about each other's dogs.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: Well, THEO seems very chill. He might feel a little high.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: How much do you think he paid for his dumb
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: French bulldogs?
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: Mens? Again, we will start with you.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Eight thousand, eight thousand, all right, Greg Gory, let's go
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: ten thousand thousand one.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: Quick question? What color did you see this one?
- 1:05:11Speaker 8: The color of the dog? Yeah, it was black.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I think, Oh, okay, pretty regular looking us regular.
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: Then I'm gonna go seven thousand, seven thousand shoes.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:05:21Speaker 13: He was very happy to tell you that it was
- 1:05:24Speaker 13: an imported dog, so I think that's more expensive.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: So I'll say twelve thousand, twelve thousand, Yeah, twelve thousand
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and one for the same reason.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: All right, I'm gonna I'm gonna say six thousand, five hundred, Oh, Okay,
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: all right, Sammy.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna say five thousand.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Five thousand, all rights.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Find out THEO. How much did he pay?
- 1:05:41Speaker 12: How much did you pay for this dumb French bulldog?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Twenty grand twenty three the house.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: I'll traded in my jeep wrangler and my bmw W
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: I five twenty eight.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Yeah, traded on both.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: Okay, you don't hear about black French bull dogs going
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: for that much. It's like the gray ones, the blues,
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: or the ones that are like the twenty grand or
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: the twenty grand range.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: I thought Menace was insane. I forget how much you paid,
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: but like I remember thinking, like, man, that's insane. So
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: what is the is it simply first training for a
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: thousand dollars and just in case anybody gets in, like
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: Menace did not pay anywhere close to twenty thousand dollars.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Still a good amount of money, but nowhere close to
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: twenty thousand dollars.
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: That sounds like the going right according to the ass
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: for the.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: First two and that's probably your medical bills every year.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: I don't want to hear these people so many issues.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: I think they're making a business out of it. That's
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: why they're putting twenty grand.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: It's like it's like how pot shops. No one's making
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: business on those because everybody's like, oh, free money, free money.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: So who are they sell them these to? Other?
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Moral?
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: All that guy's stud feeds.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: That's what I was going to say. You were talking
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: about this dog's big, pendulous balls.
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: Okay, so I blurted, that's not gonna be.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I would imagine that's for the stud fee, like he's
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: going to hire it out or whatever. But like how
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: many hands out big with like each one really damn
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: like two adult fists, like yeah, but also a little
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: tiny French.
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: Well it was in one of those stroller things. Of course,
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: a lot of those dogs.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Because they can't walk because they get tired.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: I got one more clip here, one more to guess.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: How much did you pay for that dumb French bulldog
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: at the Frenchie meet up?
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: All right, this is David, probably the most normal guy
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: I talked to that day.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: That's graded on a curve.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: David, David. What's your dog's name, Dylan?
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: How old is he?
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: He's two years old? I know it's You got the.
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: Louis Vuitton little leash thing? How much was that alone?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Probably about gotta keep them dripped up?
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: What do you have to say to people that don't
- 1:07:42Speaker 12: have French bulldogs?
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: They're great dogs, they're lovable dogs.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I mean, if if you could show off a bull,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: why not, so show off a French right, why not?
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: That's why we're here, only frenchies.
- 1:07:53Speaker 12: So everyone says that pit bulls will kill children, they'll
- 1:07:56Speaker 12: kill your families.
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: But that's not true about French bulldogs, is it.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: No, it's not French. He's the they'll they'll keep but
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: not kill you.
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: Check us out on Tas Dillinger uh Taz Underscore Dillinger Underscore,
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: the underscore underscore.
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: So how much did you pay for that dumb bulldog?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: Well, dude, if it's as dumb as you are with
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: picking like an Instagram, I learned that from men As.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: I never really thought about it. But like the more
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: you have to explain.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Underscore underscore dot yeah, yeah, backslash.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Even like dude, he got he was like two seconds
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: away from getting a totally free plug for his but
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: he made it too difficult that we laughed over it.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, Dazz Dillinger is in the moment.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, how much did David pay for his
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: dumb French bulldog.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: Greg Gory, I mean, I guess I should guess twenty
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: thousand exactly. I'll say seven thousand.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: Seven thousand, all right, Gina grad I'll.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Say the now apparently not ridiculous price.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Fifteen thousand, fifteen thousand dollars, Sammy eighteen thousand, eighteen thousand dollars.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: I was gonna go closer to twenty I'll go seventeen
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: thousand dollars. I'm gonna guess he traded in two cars
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: and his Harvard MBA.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Okay, he's more. I'm going on.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: I'm going eight thousand, eight thousand, so low. All right,
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: let's find out, David, how much did he pay for
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: that dumb French bulldog?
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: How much did you pay for that dumb bulldog?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: I paid a lot of money. Ten thousand.
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: How old was he when you bought him?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: He was a puppy, newborn.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Ten thousand. That's the cheapest dog there, and a lot
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: of it.
- 1:09:35Speaker 12: I didn't include them because I thought it was not
- 1:09:38Speaker 12: part of the rules of the game. But a lot
- 1:09:39Speaker 12: of people I talked to, I'd get to the last
- 1:09:41Speaker 12: question and they say, oh, nothing, I made him.
- 1:09:43Speaker 13: What when you and another dog, love somebody very much? Well,
- 1:09:48Speaker 13: in the last create you said, how muld you pay?
- 1:09:50Speaker 13: How much did you pay for that opportunity?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Right? Essentially, Wow, everybody's trash. Everybody is absolutarily rich trash.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: Yeah that's more money than me, but borrowed, I say, Yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: I wonder what the average APR is on Yeah, like
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: you turned in these two cars.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: Look at those sweeties right there by.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Something that's that's just suffering its entire life. Yeah, like
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: you know what this didn't This is what I've already had,
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: didn't appreciate enough. Something is gonna last less less time.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: These dogs get those jobs.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Now that's the saddest thing I've ever heard, because they.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Get no jobs.
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: No problem, but a dog can't. Okay, but think about
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: how cool you look on Instagram.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Think about how many dogs died in a shelter while
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you paid ten gies for that. We never see a
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: frend schee in a shelter, so it seems like they're
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: fixing that issue. Thank you. Text us over to two
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: two nine eight seven more what he shows next?
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: Hang on.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Show? All right, Yes we do get your messages? Do
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you guys get my messages?
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: I've never gonna response anymore. You do really what we're
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: good too?
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: I mean, you're not the only person texting. I will
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: say that, so you know, we do our best to
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: read and sometimes my wifles it to me.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Sometimes she goes, are you listening? I go, yeah, but
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you didn't say anything.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: That would listen.
- 1:11:13Speaker 13: You bet.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like a lot of the text. Or sometimes
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: it's just there's not really much to respond to. Check
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: like this one.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: Hearing about the Frenchies makes me lose my faith in humanity, Like,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: what do you.
- 1:11:26Speaker 12: Like?
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: We got it? We got it.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: I'm just letting you know, like sometimes if you don't
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: get it, you know, if you don't get a text back.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: That's why it's not a personal thing.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna write back, disagree.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Yeah, and no nobody nobody's been blocked from from the text.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: It doesn't work that way.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Someone says, I know a guy with the French. She
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: she has one eye.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: I'll try to get a pick. That's like how much
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: you get, Like, how much do you pay for a
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: one eyed Prench?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: You get.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Discount?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: I got my though.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I got my friend she from a rescue. She is perfect.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: She was two when I got her and she is
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: very well behaved.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: Yeah, once in a while they'll show up to rescue,
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: but a Frenchy rescue, it's very rare.
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: So are the Frenchie rescues just empty?
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: Yeah, they're like they have to have like one a
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: month or something like.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: The island to a friend who recently did one of
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: these Frenchy rescues, and it's not been easy.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: The dog has to wear a diaper. It's in and
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: out of the even times a day. Somebody said French
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: chies are just a status symbol. If you see a
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: chick walking two Frenchies down the street, you know that
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: bitch is wearing Lululemon everything to her pilates class and
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: drinking water from a Stanley tumbler Lemon.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: Is she poor?
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Right, what's the new what's the new one?
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: Yellow?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, very in here now, Sammy always wears everybody.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: I see that logo whatever everywhere now and what is that?
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: That's the new Lulu Lemon?
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Yeah for sure.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Is it just like sweatshirts. It's at leisure.
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: It's just dress leggings and stuff too.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: Yea, all that sitting in You're missed the audio from
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: the Frenchy meetup. That's Morgan went to We have that
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: for you on our podcast. Just hit up The Woodies
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Show dot com or wherever you find your favorite podcast.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Nice Gamer Radio show, The Woody Show. You guys are amazing,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: especially Woodsy The wood Show.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: So with the holiday, not just Thanksgiving, but just in general,
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: this is when people are doing a lot of entertaining
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: and uh and you got people coming over and you're
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: making a big meal. Yeah you know, so not just Thanksgiving,
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: but maybe it's some other kind of holiday gathering that
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: that you got. And so this is going to be
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: a round of Gina's grad school and today what are
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: you teaching us, Gina?
- 1:13:40Speaker 13: I'm going to teach you how not to poison yourself
- 1:13:43Speaker 13: and your guests at your Thanksgiving dinner.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's all about Thanksgiving food poisoning.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Yeah, because I want to save I miss save lives today.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Yeah, well, Greg, you need to pay it like really
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: good attention because Greg is the one who's preparing the meal.
- 1:13:57Speaker 13: You don't want to get blamed now, so let's make
- 1:14:00Speaker 13: sure everybody is nice and safe and stays alive.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: First off, a couple stats.
- 1:14:04Speaker 13: Did you know that ninety one percent of Americans celebrate Thanksgiving.
- 1:14:08Speaker 13: That's three hundred and fifty million people that are going
- 1:14:11Speaker 13: to gorge on food and could end up poisoning themselves.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Every year in the US, about forty.
- 1:14:16Speaker 13: Eight million people are about one and six get sick
- 1:14:19Speaker 13: from food poisoning, one hundred and twenty eight thousand get
- 1:14:22Speaker 13: hospitalized every year every year, and three thousand die according
- 1:14:27Speaker 13: to the CDs, just in general.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: So let's not get crazy. Well, what would make you die? Yeah?
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: I mean I I'm just like barfed in diarrhea, dehydration. Yeah,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: there it is.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Well, in the latest E Coli break out, one is dead.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: Oh no, see it does happen, Like what does it do?
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: Is it just shut down?
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: Like?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: What does E Coli do?
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: Does it shut down your I don't know, Great, it's
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: your in the organ's like yeah, exactly what it makes
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: you die? Do you feel like you want to die
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: when you have food poisoning.
- 1:15:00Speaker 13: I'm glad you're bringing this up because there are tons
- 1:15:02Speaker 13: of ways to perish when you have food poison because
- 1:15:04Speaker 13: there's tons of different kinds of food poison In fact,
- 1:15:07Speaker 13: you could also get cancer from food poisoning.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Or the World Horse the organization the World organization. Wow, God,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: listen to these horse people. They even say, are you're
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: a hor.
- 1:15:23Speaker 13: Food born illnesses are usually infectious or toxic in nature
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: and caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, or chemicals, and that
- 1:15:31Speaker 13: chemical contamination can lead to long term diseases like cancer.
- 1:15:35Speaker 13: So which foods are most susceptible to making you sick
- 1:15:38Speaker 13: on Turkey Day?
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:15:39Speaker 13: Of course number one with a bullet is the turkey.
- 1:15:42Speaker 13: Big bird can harbor salmonila, especially when it's undercooked. It's
- 1:15:46Speaker 13: dangerous when it doesn't reach one hundred and sixty five
- 1:15:49Speaker 13: degrees internal temperature.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: And I know people they poo poo this, but when
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: left out large poo poo. When left out for more
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: than two hours, things can go south quickly.
- 1:16:03Speaker 13: And please, for the love of God, this includes your
- 1:16:07Speaker 13: good old fashioned counter thow, do not do it. Experts
- 1:16:11Speaker 13: warn that thawing a turkey on the counter can cause
- 1:16:13Speaker 13: food poisoning two ways. Obviously, it grows bacteria just sitting
- 1:16:17Speaker 13: out on the counter. But also thought you would never
- 1:16:19Speaker 13: do that, right Greg? Okay, thawing a turkey on the
- 1:16:22Speaker 13: counter can contaminate everything your hands in the counter and kitchensel.
- 1:16:29Speaker 13: You've seen that juice leak. It can't be the only one.
- 1:16:33Speaker 13: It leaks, and it'll give you salmonilla other pathogens. The
- 1:16:36Speaker 13: USDA says, you gotta put that bitch in a sink
- 1:16:39Speaker 13: full of cold water or in the fridge to thaw
- 1:16:42Speaker 13: before roasting. Next up, Big Culprit, the stuffing. As we
- 1:16:46Speaker 13: talked about, it's particularly dangerous when it's cooked Sammy inside
- 1:16:51Speaker 13: the turkey, really, yes, because it does not get hot
- 1:16:55Speaker 13: enough most of the time to kill the bacteria.
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: So if good, though the other doesn't make it taste
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: any better. I don't think it makes it taste any bad.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: It's the best.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: It's really cool.
- 1:17:05Speaker 15: I mean, but what I have it, it's like what
- 1:17:06Speaker 15: my mom makes is like hamburger me with mashed potatoes
- 1:17:09Speaker 15: and all this.
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: God, it's so good.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: It's not like it's turn Yes, that sounds like Shepherd's
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: pie kind of.
- 1:17:15Speaker 15: It's kind of like a Canadian meat pie. But inside
- 1:17:17Speaker 15: the turk I've never heard of. Yeah, so it's different
- 1:17:19Speaker 15: than what you can just buy at the store.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: And it's delicious. Well, you can make stuff however you like.
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't have to put it. I guess the
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: point is you don't have to put it inside the bird.
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: It's gonna taste the same either way.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: The juices.
- 1:17:34Speaker 13: Yeah, for sure, Sammy's still here to talk about it.
- 1:17:36Speaker 13: But some of you might not be so lucky, because
- 1:17:38Speaker 13: if the oven temp is too low or the cooking
- 1:17:40Speaker 13: tempts too short, it will not reach one hundred and
- 1:17:42Speaker 13: sixty five degrees.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: And it must.
- 1:17:44Speaker 13: And even though some people swear by doing this, Sammy
- 1:17:47Speaker 13: experts say you got to.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Cook it in a separate castle dish, but they know
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: next time.
- 1:17:53Speaker 13: Next up the sides, the cast rolls, the stews, the gravies,
- 1:17:56Speaker 13: even non meat dishes in large batches.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: This is when you get hit with what's called the
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: buffet germ.
- 1:18:03Speaker 13: See happens, that's right, large badgets of food that sit
- 1:18:07Speaker 13: out too long. And finally, the delicious, the scrumptious, the
- 1:18:11Speaker 13: delectable leftovers they get nasty one stored not in airtight containers,
- 1:18:17Speaker 13: and people get brave by eating it more than and
- 1:18:20Speaker 13: he guesses how many.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Days a week? Five, thank you Greg. Eating it more
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: than four days later you can get and that includes
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the pie. People don't leave it.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: We keep We keep leftovers for a week. Were like,
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: oh if we made this last Saturday, and Friday.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Oh that was very brave. That's very brave.
- 1:18:39Speaker 13: So what exactly are we talking about in the virus department?
- 1:18:42Speaker 13: What's lurking in these foods? Well, here are the top
- 1:18:45Speaker 13: four we talked about it. Number one the good old norovirus,
- 1:18:48Speaker 13: otherwise known as the stomach flu. This little monster, super
- 1:18:52Speaker 13: contagious causes you.
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: Get from like on cruise ships, right, Nora virus.
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: Oh yeah, IRUs, No, they.
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: Do call it.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: They do call it the cruise ship virus.
- 1:19:01Speaker 13: As a matter of fact, a lot of puking, a
- 1:19:04Speaker 13: lot of you know, both ends spurting out. Number two salmonella.
- 1:19:09Speaker 13: This is because of the this word makes me want
- 1:19:12Speaker 13: to throw up the raw chicken juice. One drop of
- 1:19:19Speaker 13: this can cause everything from bloody diarrhea to reactive arthritis.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: I'll take a shot of it and get this.
- 1:19:30Speaker 13: Symptoms can take up to six days to show up,
- 1:19:32Speaker 13: So you're not even gonna know how you got this, bitch, So.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: Your guests will be home by the time they get sick.
- 1:19:37Speaker 13: That's actually true. Places blame it on the air travel.
- 1:19:42Speaker 13: Number three This is a tough one.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Colostridium perfingens.
- 1:19:48Speaker 13: So something with pooping, well, it's it's this is the buffet,
- 1:19:51Speaker 13: this is the buffetor this one loves room temperature leftovers.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: It's responsible.
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I was just saying, I've been at a
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: bazillion BEFO Phase.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: I'm still good.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: You're still here, Well, like a professional one, not like
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: they just had one here at the radio station. And
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: that was the day that I had food poison Oh yes,
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: I'm like, I wouldn't participate it anyway. It's just another reminder,
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: having food poisoning on the you know, the holiday pot luck.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that day, just another reminder. Well and professional, I
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: don't do it.
- 1:20:19Speaker 13: But Phase, you know, they keep those pans nice and hot,
- 1:20:22Speaker 13: so you should be okay. But this is responsible for
- 1:20:24Speaker 13: nearly a million illnesses every year. It's always around Thanksgiving.
- 1:20:28Speaker 13: Symptoms include, yeah, diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting, abdominal pain. I
- 1:20:32Speaker 13: feel like I'm doing a disclaimer for a new drug,
- 1:20:36Speaker 13: weight loss, muscle likes, fatigue, gas, and symptoms usually start
- 1:20:39Speaker 13: within six to twenty four hours. They last around twenty
- 1:20:42Speaker 13: four hours, but if you're really young or really old,
- 1:20:44Speaker 13: they can last up.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: To two weeks.
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: Ye see, Greg, and I want to see one of
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: those weight loss drug commercials. And they do like all
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: those side effects touff, and they go, oh, could cause cancer,
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: could causes could cause death in a certain individual. I go, yeah,
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: but you'll be skinny sturdy, yeah, ok.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Big deal.
- 1:21:03Speaker 13: At number four, good old staphylococcus, this unhospital caucus staffacccus,
- 1:21:09Speaker 13: the AKA the staph infection, this unwashed hands Bandit throws
- 1:21:13Speaker 13: little parties in your intestine and it comes free with
- 1:21:16Speaker 13: bad hygiene. Mostly causes skin and soft tissue infection. And
- 1:21:20Speaker 13: some people carry it on their hands when they make
- 1:21:22Speaker 13: or serve food without washing their hands. Causes nausea and vomiting,
- 1:21:26Speaker 13: stomach crams, all the top culprits. That's common in hospitals, right, yes,
- 1:21:31Speaker 13: that very very common. How do you keep these pooping
- 1:21:34Speaker 13: and puking germs off your table? I'm gonna tell you
- 1:21:37Speaker 13: right now. You gotta keep food.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Out of the danger zone. What's the danger zone?
- 1:21:43Speaker 13: The danger zone is the temperatures between forty degrees fahrenheit
- 1:21:46Speaker 13: and one hundred and forty So if it's right in
- 1:21:49Speaker 13: there at the bacteria are in.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Love with you, that's any room that it's in exactly.
- 1:21:54Speaker 13: So you got to keep it in the fridge or
- 1:21:56Speaker 13: in the oven below forty or above one forty. How
- 1:22:00Speaker 13: do we avoid poisoning our dinner guests? Firstly, experts say,
- 1:22:03Speaker 13: and I know people still do this, and on comments
- 1:22:06Speaker 13: like I get it and wash your chicken. Don't wash
- 1:22:10Speaker 13: raw turkey, don't wash raw poultry.
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: I didn't wash their turkey.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Supposed to rinse. You're not supposed to rinse.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: It in the why would you rinse it?
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: A lot of people do it.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: They think you're getting some of the good people to
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: rhyme up. I know a lot of people do this,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: but it creates bacteria.
- 1:22:28Speaker 13: They call it a bacterial water park all over your kitchen,
- 1:22:32Speaker 13: all over your because the.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: Water is not the water's not the right temperature. So
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: it probably starts to like, uh, this is this is
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: what I heard years and years ago. It's a very
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: young man, just starting off on my own, living on
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: my own, and I was doing something because I was like, ah, man,
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: I forgot to thaw the ground b for whatever, and
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: I think I put it like in a in a
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: hot water bath. I'm like, no, dude, you're kind of
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: cooking the meat and that's gonna that's gonna make it.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, that actually makes a lot of sense,
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: but good effort.
- 1:23:00Speaker 15: I'm just thinking, like, not supposed to do that, cooking
- 1:23:05Speaker 15: right after temperature. That's what I do with chicken, oh,
- 1:23:09Speaker 15: write regularly. I take it out of the freezer, I
- 1:23:12Speaker 15: put it in warm water thought.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: And then I put it in the oven.
- 1:23:15Speaker 13: You know, Samy might be indestructible because you're doing everything
- 1:23:18Speaker 13: they say not to do, and you're still here to tell.
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: That's a secret on why she's so skinny that we
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: should be doing constantly.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, oh my.
- 1:23:26Speaker 12: Goodness, because I'm temperature of the chicken like one after
- 1:23:31Speaker 12: I cook it.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Of course, Okay, you're not supposed to thought that way.
- 1:23:35Speaker 13: But say you found chicken in a dumpster and then
- 1:23:37Speaker 13: you cooked it, it would still be the right temperature,
- 1:23:39Speaker 13: but you probably shouldn't eat it.
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: Correct salmon right down, write down everything you do so
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: I can follow that.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: We need a food diary for you.
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but I kind of see your point though, I mean, you're.
- 1:23:52Speaker 13: Cooking a lot of things out of it, but some
- 1:23:54Speaker 13: things you can't. You know, like dumpster chicken, you probably
- 1:23:57Speaker 13: should just leave in the dumpster.
- 1:23:58Speaker 15: So it's because it's creating already when it's sick.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: But I thought.
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: When you cook it, the bacteria goes away.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: This is between you and the CDC. Sam, Okay, I
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: don't know. All I know is we have a new
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: T shirt Dumpster chicken.
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: Delicious, all right.
- 1:24:11Speaker 13: Also, the magic number for cooking your turkey is anybody
- 1:24:14Speaker 13: know the degrees?
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: No, one sixty five?
- 1:24:20Speaker 13: You were close enough, and you have to measure it
- 1:24:22Speaker 13: in three places, the breast, the wing, and the thigh.
- 1:24:26Speaker 13: And again, no matter how much you like it, experts say,
- 1:24:29Speaker 13: do not cook your stuffing inside the turkey. It does
- 1:24:32Speaker 13: not generally does not reach one sixty five could make
- 1:24:34Speaker 13: everyone sick.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: Yes, Sammy's mom.
- 1:24:36Speaker 13: And remember leftovers are not like fine wine. They don't
- 1:24:39Speaker 13: get better with age. You got three or four days Woodies, family,
- 1:24:44Speaker 13: before the fridge becomes a science experiment.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: By the way, pets, don't just give them whatever's on
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: your plate.
- 1:24:50Speaker 13: A lot of herbs and essential oils and stuff that
- 1:24:52Speaker 13: goes in this food can make animals really sick.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: And when you give dogs raw dough, it expands in
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: their stomach make it could make them have surgery.
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: No, but she's definitely gonna get some turkey. She's gonna
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: get some of that white castle stuffing that we're gonna have.
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: Oh my god, to get some of that I've been promising.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Her, I'm like, oh.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Us, she's so excited.
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: My dods are French, so they want this shark couterie that's.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Right, and the oyster stuff. You can have a turkey
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: dinner with us, but lay.
- 1:25:21Speaker 13: Off the like the extra rby stuffing because they're not
- 1:25:24Speaker 13: supposed to have that. You don't look convinced, but that's what.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: The A lot of times stuffing has onions in it, right, So.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: My dog eat her own turds, yes, but she can't
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: have some delicious stuff that's organic.
- 1:25:35Speaker 13: So in conclusion, if you stay smart and do stuff
- 1:25:39Speaker 13: like use your trusty meat thermometer, separate cutting boards to
- 1:25:43Speaker 13: avoid cross contamination, trying to stick with the two hour
- 1:25:46Speaker 13: left over rule before sticking in the fridge, wash your
- 1:25:49Speaker 13: hands like you're prepping for surgery, you and your guests
- 1:25:51Speaker 13: are going to have a good time that doesn't involve
- 1:25:53Speaker 13: putting a seat belt on the toilet.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: That was Gina's grad school. I hope you learned a.
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: Lot Gina's grad school. For Thanksgiving food poisoning, somebody said,
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: please mention carryover cooking, like when you pull something out
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: of a hot oven, the internal temperature will rise several
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: degrees while the temperature evens out. They're arguing that turkey
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: could be pulled out between one hundred and fifty five
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: and one hundred and fifty seven, it'll go up another
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: eight to ten degrees. However, I don't know if I
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: need to do it just barely, I'll take it just
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: barely overcooked.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the same. That's more for like steaks they think.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: Yeah, not like well done. We're talking like just barely.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Yeah. And you do want to let your meat rest,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: if you know what I mean, Yeah, because the juice
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: is read.
- 1:26:33Speaker 4: I would say I can't stop stop one sixty like
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: if you take it out of one sixty one sixty two, fine,
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: but I'm not going one fifty five to get to
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: one sixty five.
- 1:26:43Speaker 13: This is not the time to like your inner Gordon
- 1:26:46Speaker 13: ramsay your turkey, everybody, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: All right, thank you very much, Gina, you got it.
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: We're gonna take a break. We got some more Wooies
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: show coming up for you next.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: Hang on, So what you show me right back?
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Comically large.
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: It's disgusting.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: Well it is a time for Thanksgiving round of the
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: no hands challenge. Greg is the feeder, yes, and then
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: the feed e t yeah. And then Menace he is
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: the feed Yes, I'm hungry, he is. He's going to
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: be eating a Thanksgiving meal. It's that, uh that Greg
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: will be feeding Menace with and only using his feet.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: Yes, So we've done a bunch of other things in
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: the past, and uh now Greg was in charge of
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: the menu, and he went very traditional with the menu.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: I did except for one thing because I figured, you
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: know how much I hate waste. I didn't want to
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: waste good turkey on foot food. So I got like
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: just some pre made smoked turkey, okay, And then we
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: do have what I consider to be an awesome side
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: dish of mashed potatoes. It's this brand called bob Evans.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, it's so good.
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: What do you find this.
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: Grocery store, regular grocery store, the premd stuff they have
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: like a pre made mac and cheese, chicken.
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: It's like.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: It's a restaurant. Bob Evans is a restaurant. Yeah, it's awesome.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: You've never been to a bob Evans.
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: I have not the mashed potatoes rule. And then we
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: have to top it off just some what I would
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: call convalescent hospital homemade non homemade gravy, I should say
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: jarred gravy. It smells like a convalescent hospital cafeteria, thank you,
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: And then some delicious ocean spray cranber my only kind.
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, and so uh menace, Well, uh, we're
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: gonna try to he's blindfolded.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: He's got that blindfold on the.
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: Google, and we're gonna we're gonna see how he does.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Again.
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: Only the goals to get it into his mouth and
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: to feed menace using only his feet.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: This is I'm nervous today. This isn't I got a
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: spoon gravy I gotta I don't know how I'm gonna
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: get the cranber?
- 1:29:05Speaker 15: What?
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: What are we?
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: What are we gonna start with? I think we should
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: be civilized and just start with some turkey. Would you
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: like some gravy on top of the civilized?
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, we'll start with tradition, turkey and grave. Now
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: what are we gonna do? Are you going to uh
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: the turkey? Are you going to dip it into the gravy?
- 1:29:22Speaker 17: Like?
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: How are we gonna do it?
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: I think I might top it with gravee. Okay, I
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: have a spoon in the gravy. I got a spoon
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: in the cranberry, a spoon and the mashed.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: Potatoes and a fork for the gravy.
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: Okay, so I guess, baby, Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: come around to the other side.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: There happening.
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: Oh man, I didn't position the turkey and with a
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: little bit of gravy on top.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Yeah, so I can see. But you got a minute.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: I'm still working here.
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Greg is working to get the turkey.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Oh you okay? Using his My god, this is just
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: dropped the space new new techniquegy, I'm gonna dunk the
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: you know what you do?
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: Maybe you dunk your foot into the gravy and then
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: and then grab the turkey with the gravy foot.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, there we go. The reason.
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: Why is why is man is blindfolded, because it makes
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: it more of a challenge. Menace has to get it
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: into his mouth.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: Just dipped his toes in a hot gravy.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: Okay, it's sorry, it probably feels nice, right Greg.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Well, you know how chefs always say you're the best
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: tool is your hands. Yeah, and what they really mean
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: is it's your feet sneering?
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, so he's gonna he's got the turkey
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: between his big toe.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Oh it kind of broke.
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: And if you think about it, the feet are the hands.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: Of the legs.
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: What's the reamer, Gina?
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: This looks vile.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: You don't want to try something. So he's got a
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: piece of the turkey.
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna give it another dunk. Okay, here we go,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: man go, here we go. It's coming to find Oh yeah,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: I get that. Oh yeah, you haven't got it yet.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: You can feel with your mouth. You can feeling with
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: your mouth.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: Let's give him.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta get more.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: The turkey was hanging on his foot.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: He had it up there in your foot.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: Menace, used your tongue to kind.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Of I'm gonna put more by your foot a little bit.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: But he liked it. He liked Okay, here comes more.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Oh wow, this is really dangling?
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Is this going? Really? Okay? I think about.
- 1:31:27Speaker 10: That?
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: Was that was?
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: I don't think it's falling here. It is his foot.
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: He's using his foot. So yes, here's gonna be a tone.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: No he's not, he's not menace anything.
- 1:31:35Speaker 18: I gotta go higher. It's right, heads because it's the way.
- 1:31:39Speaker 18: It's dangling. Less talking, more eating. There is, there is,
- 1:31:45Speaker 18: there is, you got you gotta don't keep don't keep
- 1:31:48Speaker 18: bringing it up. You got pasta like pasta.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: Come on, Menace, it's turkey.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: You literally almost bit his heel. Did you get it?
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: It was dangling?
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm giving that one. I'm giving that one partial credit.
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: That was that one's partial credit because he just slip
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: it up like a spaghetti because he had Why did
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: it come off in like one big kind of long string.
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: Yeah, probably because I gripped it with my foot. Yeah,
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: really hard and it kind of broke the middle.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Good.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: All right, you're ready for some mashies. By the way,
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: this whole thing is MENACE's idea. There's no hands challenge.
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: This is like the fourth or fifth one we've done.
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: This is just the Thanksgiving additions. That was the smoke
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: turkey dipped in gravy, or actually foot dipped in gravy.
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: I'm allowed to wipe my foot in between, right, because
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: I can't grip my spoon with gravy toes. Now, what
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: do you do the spoon for the mashed potatoes? Can
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: I give you can I give you like a thought
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: on the mashed potatoes.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: I think you kind of use your like the top
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: of your foot as like a shovel and have it
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: sit on top of your foot, and the menace eats
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: the mashed potatoes off the top of your foot.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: He's going to need to engage the other foot for
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: this gravy.
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: That could be the second part of the challenge. Let's
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: start with mashed potatoes.
