- 0:57Speaker 3: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day. Steve,
- 1:01Speaker 3: you have some words of with some believe.
- 1:05Speaker 1: You know, I've been very fortunate in my life that
- 1:09Speaker 1: God has afforded me a lot of grace and a
- 1:13Speaker 1: lot of favor in my life. You know, I work hard.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I do understand that I put forth a lot of
- 1:21Speaker 1: effort because I do adhere to the principle that if
- 1:25Speaker 1: you plan on being successful, it's going to require an
- 1:28Speaker 1: all out massive effort. It's going to take everything you have.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I thank God that I have been willing to do
- 1:38Speaker 1: mostly everything that was requested of me in order to
- 1:41Speaker 1: become successful. I'll just put it that way. I'm pretty
- 1:44Speaker 1: sure there's more coming, but so far I've tried to
- 1:47Speaker 1: answer to bail and answer the call. But with that
- 1:51Speaker 1: being said, my life is still filled with a great
- 1:55Speaker 1: amount of mercy and grace that God has done for
- 1:59Speaker 1: me almost the unthinkable. And the reason I say the
- 2:04Speaker 1: unthinkable because oftentimes people say, hey, man, Steve, did you
- 2:08Speaker 1: see yourself being here? And it kills me when people say, yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I always imagine myself here. Well, how did you do that?
- 2:17Speaker 1: How did you imagine something that you didn't know was possible?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Because what I've also learned is if you can imagine it,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's possible. It is impossible to think an impossible thought.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That's impossible. You know what I mean, It's impossible. How
- 2:39Speaker 1: should I phrase this? Let me see, you can't have
- 2:44Speaker 1: a thought that's not doable or thinkable, or attainable, some weigh,
- 2:49Speaker 1: some shape, or fashion, because everything we have in this world,
- 2:52Speaker 1: somebody thought of it. I'm not phrasing it exactly the
- 2:55Speaker 1: way I want to, because, as I do most of
- 2:58Speaker 1: my clothes remarks, it's off the top of my head.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But I do know one thing that if it had
- 3:04Speaker 1: not been for God's grace and mercy, I am not
- 3:06Speaker 1: who I am today. I am clear about that. Somebody
- 3:10Speaker 1: sent me something the other day that really touched me.
- 3:15Speaker 1: He sent this to me. He said, God has a
- 3:18Speaker 1: tendency of picking up a nobody to become a somebody
- 3:24Speaker 1: in front of everybody without asking anybody. That it put
- 3:31Speaker 1: tears in my eyes, and I sent it to a
- 3:34Speaker 1: few people that I knew would understand it. Once again,
- 3:38Speaker 1: he said, God has a tendency of picking up a
- 3:42Speaker 1: nobody to become a somebody in front of everybody without
- 3:48Speaker 1: asking anybody. And I'm telling you, man, if that ain't me,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I just don't know what was what is because I
- 4:00Speaker 1: was just a nobody that God, through his Grace picked
- 4:06Speaker 1: me up and turned me into somebody, and he did
- 4:11Speaker 1: it in front of everybody, and he didn't ask anybody,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and I'm sure glad he did. And do you know something, man,
- 4:21Speaker 1: we are all we are all privy to that. But
- 4:26Speaker 1: in order to be privy to it, you gotta be
- 4:29Speaker 1: willing to follow some instructions. And the instructions you follow
- 4:34Speaker 1: can't just be yours. Your people say all the time,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I do what I want to do. I'm gonna live
- 4:39Speaker 1: my life where I could do how I want to
- 4:41Speaker 1: do when I want to do it how I want
- 4:42Speaker 1: to do it. That ain't how it work, man. Sorry, sorry,
- 4:46Speaker 1: that's not the equation to real success. That's not the
- 4:49Speaker 1: equation because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 4:54Speaker 1: That are going to be requirements along the way. You
- 4:58Speaker 1: don't get it free. You just don't get it free.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Man.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I've often said, convenience is built through inconvenience. See, if
- 5:09Speaker 1: you want to have a convenient life, the only way
- 5:12Speaker 1: to have a convenient life, it is built through a
- 5:16Speaker 1: series of inconvenient things. And when I tell you a series,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I'm talking about a life full of them. Don't sit
- 5:23Speaker 1: up and think you just gonna have one or two,
- 5:25Speaker 1: three or four inconvenient moments to have an incredible life
- 5:29Speaker 1: of convenience. Because that's not how it works. You are
- 5:33Speaker 1: going to have a series of inconveniences. You are going
- 5:37Speaker 1: to be required to lay in it way longer than
- 5:41Speaker 1: you want to. You're gonna have to wallow in it
- 5:44Speaker 1: way longer than you want to. You're gonna have to
- 5:46Speaker 1: deal with it way longer than you want to.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Deal with it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That's what it is, man, that's the requirement. But in
- 5:55Speaker 1: order to have a life of convenience, it is built
- 5:58Speaker 1: through inconvenience. And if you want your life to be convenient,
- 6:02Speaker 1: you got to deal with the inconveniences that come along
- 6:05Speaker 1: with getting convenient. Period. Sorry, this ain't no rule. Steve
- 6:09Speaker 1: Harvey came up with This is life, man. You hear
- 6:13Speaker 1: people say it all the time. If it's successful, easy,
- 6:16Speaker 1: everybody would have it. That's the truth. So if you're
- 6:19Speaker 1: not willing to be inconvenienced, and you don't like being inconvenienced,
- 6:25Speaker 1: then you can get off wanting the convenience, because it
- 6:29Speaker 1: requires the inconvenience to get the convenience. I'm sorry to
- 6:34Speaker 1: tell you that, but I'm also happy to tell you that,
- 6:38Speaker 1: so it could clear up any confusion that you might
- 6:40Speaker 1: be having. Oh why am I going through this old
- 6:42Speaker 1: woe is me? Because it ain't just old woe as you.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It's old woe as everybody that wants a life of convenience.
- 6:49Speaker 1: You have got to deal with the inconvenience and in closing,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I just want to say this, God has a tendency
- 6:56Speaker 1: of picking up nobody to become a somebody in front
- 6:59Speaker 1: of every without asking any party, such at church say amen,
- 7:05Speaker 1: those are my closing remarks. Hey, y'all talk to God.
- 7:08Speaker 1: He loved to hear from you.
