- 0:00Speaker 1: Now more marximon on sevent tenor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hey, it's gonna be a rain on the way, It's
- 0:11Speaker 2: gonna be a bit of a mess. It's a grid
- 0:13Speaker 2: lack alert day to day because of the World Cup.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I'm not a World Cup fan. A lot of people
- 0:18Speaker 2: here just they're not soccer fans. But it's good for everything.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It's bringing in tons of business. A million tourists have
- 0:24Speaker 2: come in, spending a fortune. You know, it's not just here.
- 0:27Speaker 2: They're in Philadelphia there, and they're all over America, all
- 0:30Speaker 2: these cities. And as you heard on the news, American
- 0:33Speaker 2: tourists love it here. I mean the foreign tourists love
- 0:36Speaker 2: it here in America. They're amazed. You know, a lot
- 0:39Speaker 2: of these people are for you know, these countries where
- 0:41Speaker 2: you know, if you're living in England or anywhere else Europe,
- 0:45Speaker 2: they have fake news there too, and it's the same
- 0:48Speaker 2: fake news it's you America's. You know, it's a dictatorship.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We have a fascist. It's awful. Everybody's suffering. The economy
- 0:55Speaker 2: is in shamble. You know, they believe all that. Many
- 0:58Speaker 2: of them are stunned when they get here find out
- 1:00Speaker 2: everything is booming and everything is happy and everything is
- 1:03Speaker 2: wonderful than we say. He's a British American.
- 1:05Speaker 3: The only thing I'm loving about the World Cup is
- 1:07Speaker 3: seeing everyday American people finally get their moment in the spotlight.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Seeing the way you've welcomed the Scott's in Boston, the
- 1:14Speaker 3: Algerian folks in Kansas, the Dutch in Texas.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It's just been had enough of that guy. What else
- 1:19Speaker 2: we got here? Australians feel like I've been lied to
- 1:23Speaker 2: my entire life about America.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Like, I mean, Florida, this beach is insane, like just
- 1:30Speaker 1: as good as Australian beaches.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Well, okay, let's say we've got them from all over
- 1:36Speaker 2: the world there. We don't hear all of them. But
- 1:37Speaker 2: they're absolutely thrilled being here. They really love it. They
- 1:42Speaker 2: are amazed by some things they didn't know about. You
- 1:45Speaker 2: know what. One of them is ranch dressing. Many many
- 1:50Speaker 2: tourists here. Then some of the World Cup players they've
- 1:52Speaker 2: never had ranch dressing. They think it's the greatest thing
- 1:54Speaker 2: they've ever tasted. They're buying tons of it and shipping
- 1:58Speaker 2: it back. Ranch dressing. Now all the major you know,
- 2:01Speaker 2: companies that make dressing make this range stressing. I'm sure,
- 2:04Speaker 2: they're on this already and planning to bring it to
- 2:07Speaker 2: other countries as well. One of the problems we have
- 2:12Speaker 2: in many countries there's no you don't tip when you're
- 2:15Speaker 2: in a restaurant. There's no tipping. It's built into the bill,
- 2:18Speaker 2: it's a service charger. They just don't tip. So it's
- 2:23Speaker 2: a big problem here in American restaurants and bars where
- 2:27Speaker 2: all these World Cup people are coming, because you know,
- 2:31Speaker 2: they usually come in large groups. There's like seven, eight, nine,
- 2:33Speaker 2: ten of them, and that's a big check for a waitress,
- 2:38Speaker 2: and they just don't tip. So a lot of these
- 2:39Speaker 2: restaurants don't know what to do. Kansas City, Atlanta, Philadelphia,
- 2:43Speaker 2: they're all adding automatic twenty percent gratuities to the check
- 2:48Speaker 2: and it is that that they're cheap. These people, they
- 2:50Speaker 2: just don't know you're supposed to tip. There have been
- 2:52Speaker 2: a lot of big tables. They come in, like twelve
- 2:55Speaker 2: in a group, and the check seven hundred and they
- 2:58Speaker 2: don't leave a tip, so they're having to stick to
- 3:00Speaker 2: this on the check. You know, about one point two
- 3:03Speaker 2: million soccer fans have come into this area, not all foreign,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but tourists of all kinds. One point two million soccer
- 3:11Speaker 2: fans are flooding the region for the World Cup matches
- 3:16Speaker 2: at MetLife Stadium, So that's why it's an absolute mess.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Every hotel room is booked, restaurants everything is packed, all
- 3:24Speaker 2: this World Cup stuff going on. Hey, my friend Mitch Modell,
- 3:29Speaker 2: Remember Modell's the great sporting goods store. They were all
- 3:31Speaker 2: over in New York, New Jersey, actually all over the northeast.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Having a press conference today. He says he's got a
- 3:38Speaker 2: big announcement. Everybody getting impression Models is coming back. I
- 3:43Speaker 2: don't know. I talked to him Saturday. He didn't say
- 3:45Speaker 2: a word to me about anything, but we'll see. It
- 3:49Speaker 2: may be coming back. That would be good. Hey mentioned
- 3:52Speaker 2: this before Sixth Avenue. Mom Donnie had this ridiculous plan
- 3:57Speaker 2: for Park Avenue to get rid of all the car lanes,
- 4:00Speaker 2: like one car lane, expand that mall in the middle. Well,
- 4:05Speaker 2: now he's got this plan for sixth Avenue and instead
- 4:07Speaker 2: of one bus lane, two bus lanes, and instead of
- 4:11Speaker 2: one big bike lane, two big bike lanes, which would
- 4:15Speaker 2: bring Sixth Avenue down to one or two lanes of traffic,
- 4:18Speaker 2: which is absolutely ridiculous. You realize how important Sixth Avenue
- 4:22Speaker 2: is we're on sixth Avenue. Here, Foxes on sixth Avenue,
- 4:26Speaker 2: Radio Cities on sixth Avenue, a million things. It's one
- 4:30Speaker 2: of the main if you're coming up town, it's like
- 4:32Speaker 2: the main street to come uptown on. In fact, they
- 4:36Speaker 2: move the Thanksgiving Parade a few years ago to sixth
- 4:40Speaker 2: Avenue because it's the biggest widest avenue. So this Mam
- 4:44Speaker 2: Donnie plan would take it down to like one or
- 4:48Speaker 2: two lanes. It's gonna be absolute gridlock every day everywhere.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It's the stupidest plan in the world. But that's the
- 4:57Speaker 2: kind of stuff Mom Donnie comes up with. I ran
- 5:00Speaker 2: straight of horn Moose. Well, they're all screaming about opening
- 5:03Speaker 2: this straighth hor Moose is slightly open. What they call
- 5:08Speaker 2: the Southern Route is open. It's been open for a while.
- 5:11Speaker 2: That's the part that hugs the coast of Oman. All
- 5:15Speaker 2: the mines have been removed from there. It's perfectly safe.
- 5:18Speaker 2: The US Navy is patrolling it. Many ships have quietly
- 5:21Speaker 2: been coming out of there with lots of oil. So
- 5:24Speaker 2: that's what they call the Southern Route is open straight
- 5:27Speaker 2: of horm Moose, and they'll have the rest of it
- 5:29Speaker 2: open pretty soon. Hey, the horses in Central Park. We've
- 5:34Speaker 2: finally had a terrible, terrible situation. The tourists are in
- 5:39Speaker 2: the carriage. They want to take a picture in the carriage,
- 5:43Speaker 2: so the driver gets out to go ten feet away
- 5:47Speaker 2: and take the picture of them in the carriage. Now
- 5:49Speaker 2: he's not in the carriage anymore, and the horse starts
- 5:52Speaker 2: running and bucking and going crazy, and it throws the
- 5:57Speaker 2: the mother out of the carriage, and it throws the
- 5:59Speaker 2: cat out, and the kid falls and hits his head
- 6:02Speaker 2: and dies. I mean, it's a horrible, horrible accident. So
- 6:07Speaker 2: the people that want to get the horses out of
- 6:09Speaker 2: Central Park are up in arms again, but this time
- 6:12Speaker 2: they got a lot of people behind them. City council
- 6:14Speaker 2: holding hearings. Donnie looks like he's behind them. To get
- 6:18Speaker 2: those horses out of Central Park. I don't know. I mean,
- 6:23Speaker 2: my first priority get those petticabs off the street. They
- 6:27Speaker 2: are the worst, those petticabs with that illegal alien cycling
- 6:32Speaker 2: bicycling a million miles. If they're awful, they just snarl
- 6:35Speaker 2: up track, no reason for them. The horses are kind
- 6:38Speaker 2: of something special about those horse drawn carriages. But do
- 6:44Speaker 2: we really need them? You know? I think Curtis said,
- 6:48Speaker 2: the best idea keep the carriages, make them electric. You
- 6:50Speaker 2: don't need the horse. Keep the carriages, get rid of
- 6:52Speaker 2: the horse, make them electric. You could do that. Now.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Part of the charm of it is the horse. But
- 6:59Speaker 2: you make them electric. They don't have the smell of
- 7:01Speaker 2: the horse, they don't have the uh droppings of the horse,
- 7:05Speaker 2: they don't have all those other problems. I don't know.
- 7:08Speaker 2: It's a good idea to me? Is that Bruce? We
- 7:11Speaker 2: have Bruce. Oh okay, uh, you know, we got the
- 7:14Speaker 2: worst governor ever, Kathy Hockle. It's just an absolute disaster.
- 7:19Speaker 2: NASA County has the best county executive in the America
- 7:22Speaker 2: and that job is basically being a governor, so he
- 7:25Speaker 2: he would be the greatest governor. Bruce Blakeman is running
- 7:28Speaker 2: against Kathy Hochland. We hope he wins. You can help,
- 7:31Speaker 2: donate or whatever you want to do. Go to Blakemanfronewyork
- 7:34Speaker 2: dot com. Blakemanfronewyork dot com. Bruce Blakeman, how you doing.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Doing good? Mark? Thank you for having me on again
- 7:43Speaker 1: and thank you for your friendship.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Well let's hope you Hey, I notice you've been very
- 7:47Speaker 2: busy lately. Every time we call you on a plane,
- 7:49Speaker 2: you're on that till. You've really been working hard on
- 7:51Speaker 2: this campaign, haven't you.
- 7:54Speaker 1: We have, and it's really really working out great. We're
- 7:58Speaker 1: gonna win Mark. Every place I go in the state,
- 8:01Speaker 1: people are miserable under Kathy Hoko. They know that we
- 8:04Speaker 1: are the most overtaxed state in America, that are electric
- 8:07Speaker 1: bills are seventy percent higher than the national average, that
- 8:10Speaker 1: she's the most pro criminal governor in the whole United
- 8:14Speaker 1: States of America, and that now she is Comrade Kathy
- 8:19Speaker 1: completely aligned with Mandami, the Kami again. People are miserable
- 8:26Speaker 1: here in New York. They want a governor that'll make
- 8:28Speaker 1: them happy. Mike County people are happy. They're making money,
- 8:32Speaker 1: they're not paying high taxes. They have the safest county
- 8:36Speaker 1: in America, according to US News, and we're a report.
- 8:38Speaker 1: So we just want to apply those principles to the state.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Put New Yorkers first, stop spending money on illegal migrants
- 8:46Speaker 1: who just got here. Let's spend it on New Yorkers.
- 8:49Speaker 1: So that's what they want, and that's what I will
- 8:52Speaker 1: provide when I become governor.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I doesn't hope realize she's been governor for many years
- 8:56Speaker 2: now that if she had had any success, she would
- 8:59Speaker 2: have a huge following, a huge base, and Mamdannie would
- 9:03Speaker 2: be catering to her. When is it supposed to work
- 9:05Speaker 2: that way?
- 9:07Speaker 1: You would think so, But again, Kathy's record is a
- 9:11Speaker 1: straight FS. If you look at a report card, it's
- 9:14Speaker 1: straight FS. When it comes to taxation, I'm going to
- 9:18Speaker 1: cut taxes. I want to have the biggest middle class
- 9:22Speaker 1: tax cut in the history of the state. Any individual
- 9:26Speaker 1: making fifty thousand dollars or less, you don't have to
- 9:29Speaker 1: pay state income tax. If you're a joint filer one
- 9:32Speaker 1: hundred thousand, you don't have to pay state income tax.
- 9:35Speaker 1: For those who make more, your first fifty thousand dollars,
- 9:38Speaker 1: no taxes. Because it's the middle class that drive the
- 9:43Speaker 1: economy here in New York State, and they've been taking
- 9:46Speaker 1: it in the neck for far too long with Kathy
- 9:49Speaker 1: Hokeel with the high taxes and high electric rates.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, par the reason we have such a ridiculous out
- 9:55Speaker 2: of control spending. We overpay by like ten thousand percent
- 9:59Speaker 2: for everything, whether it's paid in the road or you know,
- 10:02Speaker 2: subway stuff. We just overpay like crazy and that's the
- 10:05Speaker 2: business model of these politicians, hand out these massive contracts
- 10:08Speaker 2: in exchange for whatever. What can you do about that, Well.
- 10:13Speaker 1: We're gonna We're gonna cut out all the fraud, waste
- 10:15Speaker 1: and abuse. Mark. There has to be tremendous fraud and waste.
- 10:21Speaker 1: When you think about the fact that our state budget
- 10:25Speaker 1: is twice the amount of the state of Florida and
- 10:28Speaker 1: they have four million more people than us. Wow, it's
- 10:32Speaker 1: just wrong. We don't have a revenue problem in the state.
- 10:36Speaker 1: We have a spending problem. Kathy Hochel has spent money
- 10:40Speaker 1: on illegal migrants eight billion dollars over the last three years,
- 10:45Speaker 1: eight billion dollars. She's given another five billion dollars to
- 10:50Speaker 1: zo un Mondamie to bail out New York City, and
- 10:53Speaker 1: New York City has no strings attached, so they're continuing
- 10:58Speaker 1: to spend money on program that don't exist, programs that
- 11:02Speaker 1: have fraud, programs that have waste and abuse. That ends
- 11:06Speaker 1: on day one when I become governor. I'm going to
- 11:09Speaker 1: cut our spending. We're going to give the money back
- 11:12Speaker 1: to the people. We're going to cut our utility rates
- 11:15Speaker 1: in half by getting rid of the green energy scam
- 11:18Speaker 1: and the taxes on your bill and the excessive delivery charges.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Kathy Hochel has approved forty five rate hikes in just
- 11:26Speaker 1: four years, and no wonder why we're paying so much
- 11:28Speaker 1: in electric bills.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Hey, but the other reason is Governor Calmoll also a
- 11:33Speaker 2: disaster closed Indian point that was twenty five percent of
- 11:36Speaker 2: our electricity. And shouldn't we be fracking. Don't we have
- 11:40Speaker 2: a ton of energy right under us.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Mark, We have one of the largest natural gas reserves
- 11:46Speaker 1: in the world here in New York. We don't extract
- 11:49Speaker 1: it because Kathy Hochel doesn't get campaign contributions from people
- 11:54Speaker 1: that live there on the southern tier in New York.
- 11:57Speaker 1: On the other side of the border in Pennsylvania, they extract.
- 12:01Speaker 1: They're driving brand new Cadillac Escalades. On the New York
- 12:04Speaker 1: side of the border, it's twenty five year old, rusted
- 12:06Speaker 1: out pickup trucks. We could create jobs, we could create
- 12:10Speaker 1: economic prosperity, and we could materially lower the cost of
- 12:15Speaker 1: electric bills in our state with this big supply of
- 12:20Speaker 1: natural gas, which is clean energy. And the worst part
- 12:24Speaker 1: of it, Mark is in Pennsylvania where they are allowed
- 12:27Speaker 1: to extract that natural gas we're buying it from them,
- 12:33Speaker 1: So it's totally hypocritical. It's not like we're saying no
- 12:35Speaker 1: natural gas. We're buying it from Pennsylvania, hurting our own people,
- 12:40Speaker 1: hurting the all the people who are ratepayers in the
- 12:43Speaker 1: state of New York, making Pennsylvania fat. And it makes
- 12:48Speaker 1: no sense whatsoever. So yes, I will extract that natural gas.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It will lower the cost by increasing the supply, we
- 12:56Speaker 1: will have a reliable source of energy. That is right,
- 13:00Speaker 1: we are in New York State.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, it makes so much sense. And when people say, wow,
- 13:06Speaker 2: it's tough for a Republican to get elected the demographics
- 13:10Speaker 2: or how do you answer.
- 13:11Speaker 1: That, Well, I got re elected in a landslide in
- 13:16Speaker 1: the county with one hundred and ten thousand more Democrats.
- 13:19Speaker 1: So when you provide quality services at a cost of
- 13:25Speaker 1: fision price, you don't raise taxes. You create better jobs
- 13:31Speaker 1: with better benefits, you create economic activity. And when you
- 13:35Speaker 1: support law and order in your communities and support the
- 13:40Speaker 1: blue my county is the safest county in America according
- 13:44Speaker 1: to the US News and World Report. Because we take
- 13:46Speaker 1: that seriously, that's what everybody wants. I don't care what
- 13:50Speaker 1: you're Republican, Democrat or independent. Everybody wants the same thing.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So I'm asking everybody to go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot com.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Let's save this state. Make a contribution, doesn't matter what amount,
- 14:04Speaker 1: give whatever you can. If you want to volunteer, you
- 14:07Speaker 1: can sign up there you want to learn more about
- 14:09Speaker 1: the campaign. But this is a campaign to save our state,
- 14:13Speaker 1: put New Yorkers first, and make New Yorkers happy again
- 14:16Speaker 1: because they're miserable under Mundamian Hoche.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go to Blakemanfroewyork dot com, Blakeman from New
- 14:22Speaker 2: York dot com. But some people will They're going to say, well,
- 14:27Speaker 2: yet's give the legislature these crazy left wingers. There's no
- 14:30Speaker 2: way to get anything done with that kind of legislature.
- 14:32Speaker 2: But you've been dealing with that kind of situation in
- 14:34Speaker 2: your whole life, haven't you.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what. It's a negotiation process. The governor
- 14:41Speaker 1: of the State of New York has tremendous power and
- 14:44Speaker 1: leverage over the legislature. I will use that power and
- 14:47Speaker 1: leverage to cut taxes, cut utility rates, and make your
- 14:50Speaker 1: safer communities. And it'll get process. It'll be a negotiation process.
- 14:55Speaker 1: The Democrats, they'll want some things. I understand that we'll
- 14:59Speaker 1: work it out. But as long as I can make
- 15:01Speaker 1: this a safer state, a more affordable state, and a
- 15:05Speaker 1: state that our kids and our grandkids are going to
- 15:08Speaker 1: want to stay in, then it'll be worth it.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Well, Bruce Blakeman, great stuff. Want everybody to help Bruce Blakeman.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Donate to volunteer, whatever you want to do. Go to
- 15:17Speaker 2: blakemanfronew York dot com. Blakemanfronew York dot com. Hey, and
- 15:21Speaker 2: make sure you follow him on Twitter and Instagram. Very
- 15:24Speaker 2: good social media, by the way, It's very well done
- 15:27Speaker 2: and some very funny stuff there.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, we got forty one million views in the last month.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We're rocking and rolling.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah, follow them on Instagram and Facebook and Twitter and TikTok.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You'll love it.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Well.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, good luck and we're pulling for you. Thanks
- 15:44Speaker 2: for being with us.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Thanks so much, Mark, God bless you, and thank you
- 15:48Speaker 1: again for having me on your show.
- 15:49Speaker 2: All right, take care. Yeah, we want everybody to help out.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Blakemanfro new York dot com. Hey, you got a primary
- 15:57Speaker 2: race tomorrow, mostly congresstional seats. You got the Bradlander and
- 16:02Speaker 2: all that, and you know legislature stuff. Bradlander. You got
- 16:06Speaker 2: that crazy wacko Kennedy kid more. But we'll be talking
- 16:10Speaker 2: about that tomorrow. Hey, we'll take some calls next. Eight
- 16:12Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten seven ten
- 16:22Speaker 2: wo rs Mark Simon. Hey, let's take some calls. Eight
- 16:28Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Let's go to Kay in Manhattan, K How you doing, Hello, Mark?
- 16:38Speaker 4: Thank you. I want to say that I completely support
- 16:43Speaker 4: keeping the carriages and not beanning them. First of all,
- 16:47Speaker 4: I don't think those horses are abused. I think that
- 16:52Speaker 4: in regard to how long they've been around, they have
- 16:54Speaker 4: a pretty safe history. Yeah, and one that helicopter can't
- 16:57Speaker 4: accident happened that wiped out a whole family, which is horrible.
- 17:01Speaker 4: As this tragedy, this was also a tragedy. No one
- 17:05Speaker 4: spoke about banning the helicopus.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Actually, years ago they had believe or not, you could
- 17:13Speaker 2: land a helicopter on the pan Am building which is
- 17:15Speaker 2: now the MetLife Building. They had a helipad on the top.
- 17:18Speaker 2: People would come in from the airport and a hundred
- 17:20Speaker 2: times a day. One of them crashed and it killed,
- 17:22Speaker 2: and they banned it right then and there. But I
- 17:24Speaker 2: agree with you. But when was the last time you
- 17:26Speaker 2: took a riding one of those horse drawn carriages.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I hadn't taken a ride in a long time, but
- 17:32Speaker 4: I used to see them frequently, and the horses did
- 17:36Speaker 4: not look like they were The horses looked healthy. And
- 17:39Speaker 4: if you got rid of those horses, they probably end
- 17:42Speaker 4: up being a slaughter for their meat.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Them all very good points, all right, I have to
- 17:51Speaker 2: agree with you, Ka, very very good points. Thanks for
- 17:54Speaker 2: thanks for calling. You know, if I were a horse,
- 18:00Speaker 2: I think I would like that. You know, you're a horse.
- 18:01Speaker 2: What are you going to be out in a farm
- 18:03Speaker 2: somewhere doing nothing when you could be in Central Park
- 18:07Speaker 2: walking around Central Park every time? It's a good job
- 18:09Speaker 2: for a horse. I guess let's go to Peter in
- 18:12Speaker 2: New York. Peter, how you doing?
- 18:15Speaker 5: Hey, Mark, thanks for taking the club.
- 18:16Speaker 1: A quick question. If Bruce Blakeman becomes the governor of
- 18:20Speaker 1: New York, can he get rid of Mondamie and Alvin Bragg?
- 18:24Speaker 2: He can get rid of Alvin Bragg just like that,
- 18:26Speaker 2: Believe it or not. District attorney's a state job. He
- 18:29Speaker 2: can fire Alvin Bragg immediately and put in a real
- 18:33Speaker 2: district attorney that he can do. Mayor's a little tougher.
- 18:37Speaker 2: You got to have some sort of you can You
- 18:38Speaker 2: can remove him for thirty days, but then it goes
- 18:41Speaker 2: to a hearing and I think the legislature votes on
- 18:43Speaker 2: it then. But yeah, you're right. I forgot to mention
- 18:45Speaker 2: that he can get rid of Alvin Bragg's good point.
- 18:49Speaker 2: DeSantis had to do that in Florida. The Soros types
- 18:53Speaker 2: got one of those Alvin Braggs elected in Florida who
- 18:56Speaker 2: was letting everybody out, not prosecuting. And Blakeman, I mean,
- 19:00Speaker 2: DeSantis removed him, just removed him from office, stuck in
- 19:05Speaker 2: a real DA and it changed the whole crime situation.
- 19:07Speaker 2: That's another reason you got to vote for Bruce Blakeman.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing?
- 19:13Speaker 6: Hey? Thanks Mark? Only you love New York so much
- 19:17Speaker 6: that you would want a horse to be in the
- 19:19Speaker 6: city and not be out in the pasta just doing nothing.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, if you're a horse set out in
- 19:23Speaker 2: the past, you're doing nothing. It's gotta be a little boring.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Wouldn't you rather be in New York? Let's say you were.
- 19:29Speaker 6: The horse now if you go, now, if you've got
- 19:31Speaker 6: a lot of female horses around, that's all they do, right, Hey, listen,
- 19:33Speaker 6: I heard you talking about tipping before. You know, down
- 19:36Speaker 6: here in Myrtle Beach, the big scam now is you know,
- 19:39Speaker 6: the credit card company's always going to charge a restaurant
- 19:41Speaker 6: like one and a half percent to run the card.
- 19:44Speaker 6: The restaurant's now charge three at three and a half percent,
- 19:47Speaker 6: so they're doubling the money. So they're actually making more
- 19:49Speaker 6: money on your check. When they only have to give
- 19:51Speaker 6: the credit card company one point five percent, they're keeping
- 19:54Speaker 6: an extra one point five or two percent. And now
- 19:57Speaker 6: people down here up and arms and that about that,
- 19:59Speaker 6: and we want haint no kind of restaurants here. I
- 20:01Speaker 6: try to use as much cash as I possibly can.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You know, yeah, no, I've noticed that. You know, they
- 20:05Speaker 2: charge a little more for a credit card, but I
- 20:07Speaker 2: noticed a little more got to be like double what
- 20:09Speaker 2: it's supposed to be. You're right, they're making.
- 20:10Speaker 6: It pro exactly exactly.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Well, you can walk around just paying in cash, but
- 20:14Speaker 2: then you know, you look like Tony soprano or something.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Cash is what makes us well. Go around, Mark. You know,
- 20:20Speaker 6: mom and pop, fifty dollars turns of a lot of
- 20:22Speaker 6: money when it goes through three or four hands.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You know.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I hate to break it to you. For most people,
- 20:26Speaker 2: there's no cash anymore. No, most people don't, especially under thirty,
- 20:31Speaker 2: they don't. They don't have any cash. They don't carry
- 20:33Speaker 2: it anymore.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Well, you never want to bring your credit card to
- 20:35Speaker 6: a script called, otherwise you end up like twenty thousand
- 20:37Speaker 6: dollars and you passed out in the couch somewhere like
- 20:39Speaker 6: in the movie.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Oh, I never thought about that. What are you do
- 20:41Speaker 2: in the strip club? I can't Venmo the stripper? Can you?
- 20:46Speaker 2: I don't think so. All right, thanks, thanks for calling.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Let's go to Lee in New Jersey. Lee, how you doing?
- 20:54Speaker 4: Hi?
- 20:54Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, Thank you for taking my call. Yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 7: I have three points, but I'll try.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Let's try won and see how you do.
- 21:01Speaker 7: Yeah, now, okay, then I'll put it's my birthday Thursday.
- 21:05Speaker 7: I'm going to be seventy.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Oh hang on, let me see if the gift shops.
- 21:07Speaker 7: On my last point. My first point was about the
- 21:10Speaker 7: Obama Library building. It reminds me of a modern day
- 21:16Speaker 7: tower of babble.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Okay, first point, this kind of mediocre. Let's save the
- 21:22Speaker 2: other two points for tomorrow. Thanks for calling. Let's go
- 21:25Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 21:28Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Marah. Marked. The driver of
- 21:32Speaker 5: that carriage, the horse carriage, he's on the hook because
- 21:35Speaker 5: it was against the rules to get out of the
- 21:38Speaker 5: cab and take a shot.
- 21:40Speaker 6: Mark.
- 21:41Speaker 5: You're right about the Europeans not tipping. That's because in
- 21:45Speaker 5: Europe and most of the places I visited, the gratuities
- 21:48Speaker 5: built in the bill. If you want to give something extra,
- 21:52Speaker 5: you can mark that Obama Museum looks like the trash
- 21:58Speaker 5: can in most of the fair food restaurants or raised
- 22:01Speaker 5: pizza store with that swinging door at the top that
- 22:06Speaker 5: they had. On Juneteenth. Last week, a representative of the
- 22:11Speaker 5: Black Construction Workers and the Black Builders Association of Chicago
- 22:17Speaker 5: made the rounds on the media and he was complaining
- 22:20Speaker 5: that a lot of the subcontractors are on the hook,
- 22:24Speaker 5: that Obama didn't paid them and many of them lost
- 22:27Speaker 5: their contracts with their building material suppliers. Some of them
- 22:32Speaker 5: to make ends meet, how to put second mortgages on
- 22:35Speaker 5: their house.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not getting paid. You notice they can't get
- 22:37Speaker 2: any coverage. I wonder why anyway, Vincent, great call, thanks
- 22:42Speaker 2: for calling you. If that were the Trump library and
- 22:44Speaker 2: contractors weren't paid, that's all you'd be hearing about. The
- 22:47Speaker 2: Obama coverage has left that out of the story. Hey
- 22:51Speaker 2: be back in a moment and lots to get to.
- 22:53Speaker 2: It's the Mark Simon Show Live from ther Life back studio. Well,
- 23:01Speaker 2: you know, they had the US Open at Shinnecock Out
- 23:04Speaker 2: in Rotten the Hampton's big golf tournament. Scottie Scheffler won
- 23:09Speaker 2: the tournament, and it's a big win for him. But
- 23:13Speaker 2: all these golfers said, that's crazy about playing in Long Island.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I mean, we love Long Island. But the fans a
- 23:22Speaker 2: little loud yelling and screaming and heckling. You know, at
- 23:25Speaker 2: a golf tournament, the announcer talks like this, and he said,
- 23:29Speaker 2: you know, everybody talks like this a golf tournament. You're
- 23:32Speaker 2: not supposed to be yelling, screaming. It's it's not a
- 23:35Speaker 2: NASCAR race. But Scheffler got heckled a lot. This guy
- 23:40Speaker 2: Clark got heckled a lot, yelling, screaming, cheering, not supposed
- 23:46Speaker 2: to do that at a golf tournament. But okay, hey,
- 23:50Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel announced he is going off the air for
- 23:55Speaker 2: the summer. Now I don't get this. The guy was
- 23:58Speaker 2: almost fired. He just barely hung on to his job.
- 24:03Speaker 2: And oh, sorry about that. I had to sneeze. But
- 24:10Speaker 2: and ABC not too thrilled with him. You know, they
- 24:13Speaker 2: made it sound like we're standing by, We stand by
- 24:16Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel. Meantime, they wouldn't give him a new contract.
- 24:19Speaker 2: The current contract was about to expire, so they gave
- 24:21Speaker 2: him a one year extension. That's the most insulting thing
- 24:25Speaker 2: in broadcasting. That's the most insulting thing you can do
- 24:29Speaker 2: to somebody. Your three year contract is up, the most
- 24:32Speaker 2: flattering thing. New three year contract. Well, actually we'd like
- 24:36Speaker 2: to sign you for five years. That's flattering. But if
- 24:39Speaker 2: you had your three year contract coming up, and I'll
- 24:41Speaker 2: give you another three year contract, that's perfect. But when well,
- 24:45Speaker 2: we'll give you a one year extension, that's insulting. So
- 24:48Speaker 2: he's on a one year extension. Yet he just announced
- 24:50Speaker 2: he's going to take the whole summer off. Now, this
- 24:54Speaker 2: is unheard of. He says, I will be taking the
- 24:56Speaker 2: next two months off, this time voluntarily, and he announced
- 25:00Speaker 2: the guest host Tiffany had Ash, Coleman Domingo, Anthony Anderson,
- 25:08Speaker 2: Jelly Roll, Ike Baron Holtz. Do you know who these
- 25:11Speaker 2: people are? I think I recognize two names there, and
- 25:15Speaker 2: then I get this. He's asked Rosie o'donald to be
- 25:19Speaker 2: one of the guest hosts. Now, she's the one who's
- 25:22Speaker 2: having the biggest feud for the most years with Donald Trump,
- 25:26Speaker 2: his arch enemy. Rosie o'donald, he has asked her to
- 25:29Speaker 2: guest host. Now, she's the one that left the country
- 25:33Speaker 2: over her Trump derangement syndrome. She moved out of the country,
- 25:36Speaker 2: said she fears for her life, and that's why she left.
- 25:40Speaker 2: She fears for her safety. That's why she left. However,
- 25:43Speaker 2: oh a job, you know, I'll be right back. So
- 25:46Speaker 2: she's flying back to do the Jimmy Kimmel Show as
- 25:49Speaker 2: the guest host. Obviously, Kimmel likes it because it's real
- 25:54Speaker 2: Trump hatred and she's really, really, really going to go
- 25:58Speaker 2: after him, and even more than Kimmel probably, and it'll
- 26:03Speaker 2: bring a lot of attention to the show. So she
- 26:05Speaker 2: likes that. Hey Trump by Donald Trump, By the way,
- 26:07Speaker 2: President Trump showing off the new Air Force one. It
- 26:10Speaker 2: is an amazing plane. Now, the Air Force one he's
- 26:14Speaker 2: flying on is about thirty five years old. It really
- 26:17Speaker 2: should be put out of its misery. But the new
- 26:20Speaker 2: Air Force ones from Boeing, they usually make two or
- 26:22Speaker 2: three of them. The new Air Force ones aren't ready yet.
- 26:25Speaker 2: It's going to be two years. So Cutter Lended actually
- 26:29Speaker 2: gave him a plane they didn't need. This's how rich
- 26:32Speaker 2: Cutter is. They had an extra plane that the Sultan
- 26:35Speaker 2: or whoever was flying around in. It's bigger than Air
- 26:38Speaker 2: Force one. It's like fifty feet longer. It's one hundred
- 26:41Speaker 2: times more magnificent. If you look at the online at
- 26:44Speaker 2: the pictures, it looks like the most luxurious hotel inside.
- 26:48Speaker 2: President Trump showed it off on Friday. But our pilots,
- 26:51Speaker 2: designers and engineers prepared an aircraft that is the largest
- 26:56Speaker 2: Air Force one ever built. It flies further and faster
- 27:01Speaker 2: than any Air Force one. Yeah, it is absolutely breathtaking insight.
- 27:06Speaker 2: It's huge. It has like three bedrooms, I mean beautiful,
- 27:10Speaker 2: magnificent bedrooms. It has a grand staircase that has a
- 27:14Speaker 2: living rooms. It's absolutely the most opulent plane ever in
- 27:17Speaker 2: the world, and he'll use that for the next couple
- 27:21Speaker 2: of years. Then the new Air Force one will be ready. Hey,
- 27:24Speaker 2: you know who died over the weekend? James Burrows. Great writer, director, producer,
- 27:30Speaker 2: creator of shows. He was a great comedy writer. He
- 27:33Speaker 2: wrote for The Mary Tyler Moore Show for years, and
- 27:36Speaker 2: then The Bob Newhart Show, The Good Bob Newhart Show,
- 27:39Speaker 2: the one where he's a psychiatrist in Chicago, and then
- 27:43Speaker 2: he went on to create all these shows with his partners.
- 27:45Speaker 2: They created Taxi and Frasier and Cheers and Friends and
- 27:52Speaker 2: Will and Grace and Mike and Molly. They well, you
- 27:54Speaker 2: either created worked on these shows, but he and Glennon
- 27:58Speaker 2: lest Charles created Cheers and then Fraser the spinoff. But
- 28:02Speaker 2: I mean, what a list of credits Taxi, Fraser, Friends,
- 28:05Speaker 2: Will and Grace, Mike and Molly, Big Bang Theory. An
- 28:09Speaker 2: amazing talent and he had a lot of range too.
- 28:12Speaker 2: You know a lot of people, you know, when they
- 28:14Speaker 2: create a show or writer show, it's about what they know.
- 28:17Speaker 2: But this was all different stuff. It was a New
- 28:19Speaker 2: York taxi garage, a neighborhood bar in Boston. There are
- 28:23Speaker 2: two things that couldn't be more different. But the secret
- 28:27Speaker 2: of all his shows was the ensemble cast worked together
- 28:31Speaker 2: so well. So he said, I guess I had a
- 28:33Speaker 2: gift for creating families. And that's the thing about each
- 28:36Speaker 2: of his show. They were like a family, like a
- 28:38Speaker 2: perfect family. So an amazing guy. Hey, if you have
- 28:44Speaker 2: an iPhone or Apple products, the prices are about to
- 28:47Speaker 2: go up. And it's not that Apple's getting greedy. There's
- 28:50Speaker 2: going to be a big price increase in Apple, but
- 28:53Speaker 2: obviously they got to buy a lot of chips and
- 28:55Speaker 2: a lot of parts, and because of AI, those chips
- 29:02Speaker 2: are in incredible demand. The AI companies are buying them
- 29:05Speaker 2: by the zillions and it's hard to get them. And
- 29:08Speaker 2: that was always thought that Apple was so big that
- 29:12Speaker 2: they would never have supply chain problems because Apple was
- 29:15Speaker 2: so huge that they could always get components whenever they
- 29:20Speaker 2: needed it. They would always go to the front of
- 29:21Speaker 2: the line, and that was always the case. But AI
- 29:24Speaker 2: has become so big that it's bigger than Apple now,
- 29:28Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, Apple is having trouble getting
- 29:30Speaker 2: components that they're going to have to pay more and
- 29:34Speaker 2: as a result, you will see a price increase. Hey,
- 29:38Speaker 2: you got that Graham Platiner. Tomorrow's a big primary day.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Platiner the Nazi. You know, Democrats yelling Trump's a Nazi
- 29:47Speaker 2: are now actually about to put a Nazi into the nomination.
- 29:52Speaker 2: They actually are for this Nazi, although they know he's
- 29:55Speaker 2: a Nazi and they're afraid to say it, so they
- 29:58Speaker 2: double talk, you know when on the Sunday Show and
- 30:00Speaker 2: they say, well, are you endorsing him? Well, I'm we're
- 30:02Speaker 2: going to do everything to beat Susan Collins. Yeah, but
- 30:04Speaker 2: are you endorsing Platinum, Well, we're going to try everything.
- 30:07Speaker 2: So even Corey Booker, not the brightest guy in the world,
- 30:10Speaker 2: is on the Sunday Show and he can't say that
- 30:13Speaker 2: he'll campaign for Platner. He can't say he's endorsing him,
- 30:17Speaker 2: So they give you these vague non answers.
- 30:18Speaker 8: I'm going to be doing everything I can all over
- 30:20Speaker 8: my state of New Jersey and everywhere I can to
- 30:23Speaker 8: help candidates across this country to get to that end,
- 30:26Speaker 8: which is Democrats regaining control of the House and the
- 30:29Speaker 8: Senate so we can check and balance a president that's chaotic,
- 30:32Speaker 8: cruel and corrupt.
- 30:33Speaker 9: Well, you mentioned Texas and Ohio. Will you campaign in Maine.
- 30:37Speaker 9: I don't have any plans to campaign there. Now they
- 30:42Speaker 9: all do this. I will do everything I can everywhere
- 30:45Speaker 9: I can everywhere. We can't paign in Maine. I don't
- 30:48Speaker 9: have any plans for that. The same thing with what's
- 30:50Speaker 9: his name, what's his name, Hakeem Jeffries, or as they
- 30:53Speaker 9: call him, dollar Store Obama, the dollar Store Obama, Hakeem Jeffries,
- 30:58Speaker 9: same thing on the Sunday Show. Couldn't answer. They don't
- 31:00Speaker 9: want to admit they're backing a Nazi because they don't
- 31:03Speaker 9: care who the hell it is, the Beck Hitler, anybody,
- 31:06Speaker 9: just if it means beaten a Republican anywhere. So Hey,
- 31:14Speaker 9: the Ran Deal, I know everybody hates it, but again,
- 31:16Speaker 9: it's not the final deal. It's just a middle chapter
- 31:19Speaker 9: in this book. Israel relationships are pretty good. I know
- 31:25Speaker 9: it looks like they're fighting and all that, and I
- 31:26Speaker 9: think that's more for show than anything else. And there's
- 31:32Speaker 9: been some while we're working on signing this deal, they've
- 31:35Speaker 9: been making Israel stand down on a lot of things.
- 31:38Speaker 9: There's an area in Lebanon there's a facility that really
- 31:42Speaker 9: is the Hesbela headquarters. It's like the Hesbela Pentagon, but
- 31:46Speaker 9: much more than that because it's also where they store
- 31:49Speaker 9: a lot of their weapons. So it's a massive and crucial,
- 31:53Speaker 9: vital facility of Hesbela. Israel was about to take it out.
- 31:56Speaker 9: They were told to stop and wait. You know, they
- 31:59Speaker 9: want to screw up to Sarandel. So Israel was made
- 32:02Speaker 9: to stand down. They weren't happy about that. They're still
- 32:04Speaker 9: watching that area and nobody's able to get in and
- 32:09Speaker 9: out of that area right now with Israel patrolling it.
- 32:12Speaker 9: But that's where it stands right now. Hey, we're talking
- 32:15Speaker 9: about primaries. They had the main gubernatorial primary and this
- 32:20Speaker 9: guy lost. But it's crucial because it was like the
- 32:23Speaker 9: last big figure of the Bush dynasty. It was Jonathan Bush,
- 32:28Speaker 9: the nephew of former President George H. W.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Bush. George H. W. Bush had a great brother, Jonathan Bush,
- 32:36Speaker 2: who I knew, a real fun guy, hey, if you
- 32:39Speaker 2: know what I mean. But his son, Jonathan Bush was
- 32:42Speaker 2: going to continue the dynasty. Was defeated in Maine. So
- 32:45Speaker 2: that's not only a Bush losing, that's a Bush losing
- 32:49Speaker 2: in Maine, which is kind of their home state. So
- 32:52Speaker 2: that is a real blow to the Bush dynasty. You know,
- 32:57Speaker 2: it was on there. We were on their way to
- 32:59Speaker 2: take the president. See again, it would have been President
- 33:01Speaker 2: Jeb Bush. But Trump blew up the Bush dynasty, stopped
- 33:06Speaker 2: them dead in their tracks, and they've never recovered. Not
- 33:09Speaker 2: in Florida. And here's the latest case in Maine, another
- 33:13Speaker 2: Bush goes down to defeat Well, hey, don't forget. At
- 33:17Speaker 2: noon it's Buck Sexton and Klay Travis. They do a
- 33:20Speaker 2: great show every day at twelve noon. Then at three
- 33:23Speaker 2: o'clock you got the most listen to radio show in America,
- 33:26Speaker 2: Sean Hannity. And now you got Curtis every morning. Every
- 33:29Speaker 2: morning gets Curtis Leewa and Larry Menty six to ten.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Right here on seven to ten, wr den Mark on
- 33:38Speaker 2: Demand by setting up presead for his podcast on the
- 33:41Speaker 2: iHeartRadio app.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 33:49Speaker 2: We just got some very terrible news that the great
- 33:52Speaker 2: Clive Davis has died at the age of ninety four.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I thought he would pull through. He'd been sick for
- 33:59Speaker 2: a couple of weeks, had pneumonia, had some other things.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Clive Davis a music business legend, a great, great guy,
- 34:08Speaker 2: friend of mine, one of those guys I admired because
- 34:11Speaker 2: he was ninety three, ninety and you go out with him,
- 34:15Speaker 2: and he had more energy than anybody, and everybody thirty
- 34:19Speaker 2: forty years younger. I gotta go home. I just kid,
- 34:22Speaker 2: but he was an amazing guy. We'll talk more about
- 34:24Speaker 2: it tomorrow. Seven ten WR
