- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm so excited to have you guys here today.
- 0:32Speaker 3: We're exciting here.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Thanks for having me, and I'm excited that you are
- 0:37Speaker 4: restaurant owners and you are going to be feeding me.
- 0:41Speaker 4: The unfortunate side of this conversation is not going to
- 0:44Speaker 4: be what I could get at the restaurant, right, but
- 0:48Speaker 4: let's find out what you're going to be feeding me today.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Come on, you know it's so we got that balloon
- 0:55Speaker 5: and fried balloona sandwich, right, We're gonna do it. You
- 0:58Speaker 5: know what I'm saying, seven wall style, that's my I'm
- 1:00Speaker 5: from New Orleans. It ain't seven wall stop, but that's
- 1:04Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. Uh Now, normally, let's see
- 1:07Speaker 5: what kind of man is we got. Normally use blue plate,
- 1:11Speaker 5: they make blue plate in the seventh wall.
- 1:13Speaker 1: But this is okay. So we got the male, the mustard,
- 1:18Speaker 1: the butter, what else?
- 1:20Speaker 5: Oh, we got ballooney of course with the red strip.
- 1:23Speaker 5: You gotta get the red strip bologna because then because
- 1:26Speaker 5: like the red strip like your avatar, right, you're gonna
- 1:31Speaker 5: you're gonna fry with the red strip on it. Then
- 1:32Speaker 5: you chew the red strip before you eat the sands, right, okay,
- 1:36Speaker 5: And you got the mustard, real light on the mustard.
- 1:39Speaker 5: And they got some bread. And now this bread fancy,
- 1:42Speaker 5: that's artists and breade. I used regular bread and cheese, American.
- 1:46Speaker 6: Cheese, you know.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Okay, so you're gonna feed us younger younger. So while
- 1:53Speaker 4: you get to started, I'm gonna throw do what's right.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We're gonna judge it.
- 2:00Speaker 6: How you make it Bologna. You want to skill it
- 2:01Speaker 6: high because you got.
- 2:03Speaker 1: To hear that are you're going to use both skillets
- 2:06Speaker 1: or what you see it too? You seed it three people.
- 2:10Speaker 6: We got enough bread for three sandwiches. So yeah we're
- 2:12Speaker 6: gonna use two challenging you.
- 2:15Speaker 7: You toasting the bread, I'm gonna the bread. Yeah, okay, okay,
- 2:20Speaker 7: fancy come on.
- 2:21Speaker 1: So take take us back to the fancy blooney fried
- 2:24Speaker 1: balooney and cheese. Appetize the red ring sandwich. It really
- 2:29Speaker 1: I don't know if you're serious about eating the ring
- 2:30Speaker 1: on the You fried with the.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Ring on it. You don't take it off. Some people
- 2:34Speaker 6: take it off. I don't take it off.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I've never in the history of doing the show, I've
- 2:39Speaker 1: had fried Blooney sandwiches, but I've never had it with the.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Red It's what you snack on while you're getting the sandwich.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Your let's see this butter.
- 2:49Speaker 6: I won't do no, but it's enough grease in this.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Okay, teach me, teach me.
- 2:53Speaker 6: We're gonna let the heat it.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You don't even need the butter.
- 2:56Speaker 6: I need the butter the toaster.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Ok.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Yeah, once.
- 3:01Speaker 4: School me, school me on the broke side. So what
- 3:04Speaker 4: was going on on the fried bloney sandwich's side of life?
- 3:09Speaker 7: Uh?
- 3:10Speaker 5: I ain't gonna lie like it's a struggle meal. But
- 3:13Speaker 5: at the time, you you don't know you're struggling. It's
- 3:16Speaker 5: like this shit good, you know.
- 3:17Speaker 2: What I mean?
- 3:18Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. So like it was just
- 3:20Speaker 6: me and my quote unquote siblings.
- 3:23Speaker 5: There was all my cousins, but we grew up in
- 3:25Speaker 5: one big house with our grandparents.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So I mean your grandparents, not your parents.
- 3:30Speaker 5: No, no, no, because they was young too, so we
- 3:33Speaker 5: was all growing together.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You know, So you were teen parents?
- 3:37Speaker 6: No, No, they weren't teens, but they was in the
- 3:39Speaker 6: streets still. Okay.
- 3:41Speaker 5: So my mom had me when she was twenty eight,
- 3:43Speaker 5: and she was I think the drugs.
- 3:45Speaker 6: So when she had me, the.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Hospital was like either he grew up for adoption or
- 3:51Speaker 5: you find some family that.
- 3:52Speaker 6: I take them.
- 3:53Speaker 5: So luckily she lived with her mom and dad still
- 3:56Speaker 5: and she was like, all right, go to grandparents, and
- 3:58Speaker 5: I was she was still with me.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, So after that it was.
- 4:03Speaker 5: I mean, but all of the grandkids stayed there.
- 4:08Speaker 4: So yeah, we was all all of your grandparents. Her
- 4:12Speaker 4: kids escaped their kids back to her. It was like,
- 4:15Speaker 4: you're never retiring. You're never retiring.
- 4:18Speaker 6: New Orleans is a very like community driven city.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Like so like you know, the house is like two
- 4:24Speaker 5: feet apart, you know what I mean.
- 4:25Speaker 6: So there's just this culture of everybody being in one
- 4:29Speaker 6: house in a sense.
- 4:31Speaker 5: So like even if the parents wanted to keep us
- 4:35Speaker 5: at their house when they got their own, we would
- 4:38Speaker 5: still find our way back to the seventh Wall.
- 4:40Speaker 6: We wasn't.
- 4:41Speaker 5: We ain't were like like for like my mama moved
- 4:44Speaker 5: to the eight Wall, I ain't gonna stay there. I'm
- 4:46Speaker 5: in the seventh Wall. Then my cousin's mom and then
- 4:49Speaker 5: moved to the Ninth Wall. Every time they got over there,
- 4:51Speaker 5: they right back in the Seventh Walk.
- 4:53Speaker 1: When you say walls, what is this like?
- 4:55Speaker 6: So it's really war.
- 5:00Speaker 5: But you know, we don't finish our words in the
- 5:02Speaker 5: south Okay, like the last two it was not, so
- 5:11Speaker 5: you know, in those separated wards.
- 5:14Speaker 6: So that's how we call it, you know what I'm saying.
- 5:16Speaker 6: They tell you the east side, west side.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Okay, but the seventh was where it was.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Seven, Yeah, which is the biggest war.
- 5:22Speaker 5: So you know, most likely it's a lot of people
- 5:25Speaker 5: from the Seventh Walk because that's the biggest section in
- 5:27Speaker 5: New Orleans.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So was it more about the Seventh Ward or was
- 5:31Speaker 1: it about living with grams?
- 5:32Speaker 5: It was just about living with our grandparents, because when
- 5:35Speaker 5: you live with older people, you tend to be more
- 5:38Speaker 5: independent because they're not going to take care of you.
- 5:40Speaker 5: They sickly taking care of the young. So we just
- 5:44Speaker 5: became independent. To what ship At four years old, you
- 5:46Speaker 5: was cooking your own food on the store. Yeah, I
- 5:49Speaker 5: was trying belonging that folk.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So this is where this story started. Yeah, and you
- 5:56Speaker 1: were excited about this because it was the last time you.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Had the last time I had it probably pandemic. Right
- 6:01Speaker 6: about the pandemic.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, having success was.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Well, now the pandemic was a choice, and that was
- 6:12Speaker 5: a fancy version. I went to publics and I went
- 6:16Speaker 5: to the Delhi because what happens is it's funny. Right
- 6:19Speaker 5: during the pandemic, all the daily meat was sold out
- 6:24Speaker 5: because you know, everybody like even walked by the daily
- 6:27Speaker 5: it was full, and I'm like, damn, this the good
- 6:29Speaker 5: fresh meat. So we just got the blowing out the
- 6:32Speaker 5: del They got a gallic blonging in public spire. So yeah,
- 6:36Speaker 5: I'm like, man could belong because you couldn't really get
- 6:38Speaker 5: food like that. So that was a struggle mal by.
- 6:40Speaker 6: You know, choice, Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 1: So okay, so take me through this journey of the non.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Choice first non choice.
- 6:48Speaker 6: So I mean that was just you know, me being
- 6:50Speaker 6: a little hood booker taking off. Damn I take it off.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, for sure, I got you. I got you
- 7:02Speaker 6: like that.
- 7:05Speaker 7: Okay, you might feel another one in there, Okay, okay,
- 7:11Speaker 7: so four year old you is slapping bologney on hands.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Take me through it.
- 7:18Speaker 5: So basically, I mean, you know, me and my siblings
- 7:21Speaker 5: are going in the kitchen. We're eating today, you know,
- 7:23Speaker 5: what I mean.
- 7:24Speaker 1: So you did have siblings, not just cousins.
- 7:26Speaker 6: Nah, I called it because we all grew up in
- 7:28Speaker 6: the same house.
- 7:28Speaker 5: So it's gonna come out like that all the time
- 7:30Speaker 5: because it's just how you know, I said, But his cousin,
- 7:32Speaker 5: it's like all my first.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Cousins, So you have actual siblings.
- 7:35Speaker 6: Nah, So you know he is gonna be sugar bread
- 7:41Speaker 6: or blown the sandwich.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You know, he had sugar bread, you know, and it
- 7:46Speaker 2: was normal for you, right like.
- 7:48Speaker 6: In today's world they call it rough.
- 7:49Speaker 5: But when you're growing up with no social media, like
- 7:52Speaker 5: everything was gravy because we were playing outside, so we
- 7:55Speaker 5: was rich and out here, you know what I mean.
- 7:57Speaker 5: So you know, but see looking stun the bubble love.
- 8:00Speaker 5: I gotta flip it. I had to get it even cook.
- 8:06Speaker 5: But what was the question again?
- 8:09Speaker 1: I was just trying to get the whole scope of
- 8:11Speaker 1: your upbringing from the bro face.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 5: So I mean, you know, just living with grandparents, it
- 8:16Speaker 5: was home alone a lot, so you learned a lot
- 8:19Speaker 5: of kids home alone, a lot, a lot of kids
- 8:21Speaker 5: home alone.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's like a kid party.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Yeah, it was li I'm.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Telling you, like I tell people all the time. My
- 8:27Speaker 5: childhood fire Like we was independent. We was home alone,
- 8:31Speaker 5: we was cooking, we was leaving out when we want to,
- 8:34Speaker 5: coming in, we want to, no bedtime.
- 8:36Speaker 6: None of that. So you really learned to just be independent.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So what kind of trouble did you get into?
- 8:41Speaker 6: Oh too much.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Let's let's see through the high school. How was you
- 8:48Speaker 1: in high school?
- 8:48Speaker 6: High school? I got kicked out of every high school
- 8:50Speaker 6: I went to.
- 8:51Speaker 5: I went to alternative school, and then I went to
- 8:53Speaker 5: I got put in the boarding school where you got
- 8:55Speaker 5: to live there, and so that was like jail for
- 8:58Speaker 5: high school.
- 8:59Speaker 1: That was I decision was boarding school, my mam was But.
- 9:04Speaker 5: At the same time, I couldn't go nowhere else, no
- 9:06Speaker 5: public school exceptment.
- 9:08Speaker 1: What were you doing in school?
- 9:09Speaker 6: That's fighting?
- 9:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm like, I'm yellow, yeah, me, So all the
- 9:14Speaker 5: girls wanted me by default, and dudes just don't like
- 9:18Speaker 5: you because of that. You know, when they're around and
- 9:20Speaker 5: the girls talking and you ain't doing nothing, They're like,
- 9:23Speaker 5: all right, I'm telling you.
- 9:24Speaker 6: I got in so many fights just because just because yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 6: because I was yellow.
- 9:29Speaker 5: But I also was a salesman, so like I was
- 9:32Speaker 5: super diplomatic because I like getting my money from school.
- 9:35Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 9:35Speaker 1: So getting your money from school? What do you mean?
- 9:38Speaker 6: I just sold stuff all the time.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Okay, so you were you started entrepreneuring very young.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, so yeah, so that part I got
- 9:45Speaker 5: a Yeah, I got a So back to what you say.
- 9:47Speaker 5: In the Seventh War, my family own the clothing store
- 9:50Speaker 5: and like right there in front of the bridge in
- 9:52Speaker 5: the Seventh War. So but it was owned by like four, five,
- 9:56Speaker 5: six family members, so it wasn't no money, but we
- 9:58Speaker 5: had influence in the community in a sense because you
- 10:02Speaker 5: know there's like a hub we sold football rocker well
- 10:05Speaker 5: like all the big brands at the time.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Uh who was.
- 10:10Speaker 6: Look, I'm burning my belong it.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So you know who was leading the charge on the
- 10:17Speaker 1: family owned business, My uncle Jimil.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Yeah he was Muslim, so I thank god for him.
- 10:22Speaker 5: He taught me a lot. So he had me in
- 10:25Speaker 5: the streets selling like our store was on the corner.
- 10:29Speaker 5: He would put me on the street every day doing
- 10:31Speaker 5: like the busy times, the lunch and like dinner, and
- 10:33Speaker 5: had me selling like fruit bags and peanuts and T
- 10:37Speaker 5: shirts and stuff like that.
- 10:38Speaker 6: So I just became a natural salesmance. So by the
- 10:40Speaker 6: time I got to school, around a whole bunch of kids.
- 10:44Speaker 6: It was just easy for me to like, you know,
- 10:46Speaker 6: talk to strangers and be able to sell stuff.
- 10:48Speaker 1: To him, you know, as an entrepreneur, I always say
- 10:51Speaker 1: that sales is the.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Number one must have still and a lot of people
- 10:57Speaker 4: if you hate it, just you gotta learn how to
- 11:01Speaker 4: get over that hate and love it.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Right, Okay, I'm seeing, I'm seeing where the gems are
- 11:07Speaker 1: starting to line up.
- 11:09Speaker 7: You have.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I love I love how your wife is.
- 11:20Speaker 6: I'm like a one trick pony that could be one
- 11:22Speaker 6: trick out of time.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I love that she's encouraging.
- 11:27Speaker 6: She's like you got it, like like, hey, look now
- 11:30Speaker 6: you're reflection to me.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I'll be honest, I can't multitest for anything.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Like if people are talking and I get a text,
- 11:36Speaker 4: I'm like, ship, I'm gonna have to ask to repeat again.
- 11:40Speaker 6: And I can't blow it.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Though I'm blow it, I don't know. You got a
- 11:44Speaker 2: nice little burn rim going.
- 11:46Speaker 6: That's flavor.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Okay, that's part of the rest.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Want Okay, you want flavor.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Okay, So you start with the sales and entrepreneurship. Okay,
- 11:58Speaker 4: So we know that you have a little bit of
- 12:02Speaker 4: education and entrepreneurship, one on one through the family. Right,
- 12:05Speaker 4: what's the next milestone?
- 12:06Speaker 5: Uh shit, I mean Katrina hit and took everything. So
- 12:11Speaker 5: it wasn't the next milestone. It was just like the
- 12:14Speaker 5: next set Yeah, the next setback, you know what I'm saying.
- 12:16Speaker 5: So we lost everything, all our businesses. And we had
- 12:19Speaker 5: two clothing stores, one in Streetport and one in New Orleans.
- 12:22Speaker 5: So we right before the storm, my uncle got killed
- 12:24Speaker 5: in the one in Streetport, so his son took over.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Basically got robbed, and so his son took over, and
- 12:31Speaker 5: right when he took over, Katrina hit and we lost
- 12:35Speaker 5: it all, and it was just like, all right, what
- 12:37Speaker 5: the hell we're gonna do? So FEMA came through with
- 12:39Speaker 5: the checks. People started moving and trying to get you know,
- 12:44Speaker 5: shelter and all that stuff. And I went to Mississippi,
- 12:48Speaker 5: and you know, out there in Mississippi everybody country, so
- 12:51Speaker 5: you city, you kind of exotic.
- 12:53Speaker 6: So I was able to like just make money just
- 12:56Speaker 6: because I'm from New Orleans.
- 12:58Speaker 5: And they liked us because they were dules every weekend
- 13:01Speaker 5: for our food and just.
- 13:02Speaker 6: To hear us talking, you know what I mean.
- 13:04Speaker 5: So I mean, you know that was next going to
- 13:07Speaker 5: Mississippi and just getting money in a whole new place.
- 13:13Speaker 5: That's the part that I'm most grateful for because it
- 13:17Speaker 5: forced me out of like you know, and then now
- 13:20Speaker 5: I feel like I can get money anywhere because it's like, well,
- 13:23Speaker 5: you know, what's worse than losing everything?
- 13:26Speaker 6: You might as well you know, but you.
- 13:29Speaker 1: You did have the help of the FEMA checks, so
- 13:31Speaker 1: it was like you were still semi comfortable, but it was.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Ten thousand hours. Yeah yeah, yeah, you lost every day.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Did the businesses did the businesses not have like insurance?
- 13:39Speaker 1: I'm just nah, So like we.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Live and check the check and you talk about insurance
- 13:42Speaker 6: when everybody lost everything. Yeah, so I mean good luck,
- 13:45Speaker 6: you know what I mean. And so we just leasing
- 13:47Speaker 6: our unit.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Like so the insurance is the person who owned that
- 13:51Speaker 5: business own that building.
- 13:53Speaker 6: But I will say, like we need no insurance money.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Because everything that was important we got out of just
- 13:59Speaker 5: the experience, you know what I'm saying that. So we
- 14:08Speaker 5: was able to get everything out of the experience, and
- 14:10Speaker 5: so like you know, here we are today. Everything that
- 14:13Speaker 5: I practiced now is just stuff that was like I
- 14:15Speaker 5: was groomed. Yeah, Like I wouldn't say the struggle with
- 14:19Speaker 5: this do. My uncle just teaching me stuff. It's just
- 14:22Speaker 5: being a straight up, you know businessman and him being Muslim,
- 14:25Speaker 5: really teaching me, you know, principles that my Christian family
- 14:30Speaker 5: wasn't teaching me. Like, like one of his big things
- 14:34Speaker 5: was work is prayer. That was his big thing he
- 14:38Speaker 5: always preached me. And so work is prayer meaning if
- 14:42Speaker 5: you was to pray and never work, it'll never happened.
- 14:46Speaker 5: But if you was to work and never pray, it'll happen.
- 14:49Speaker 5: And so his philosophy was R. P. J. Mel Uh
- 14:55Speaker 5: that I'm trying to put it in words.
- 14:57Speaker 6: It was.
- 14:59Speaker 5: Basically, got I blessed us with this body that he
- 15:02Speaker 5: took his time to craft. And so nothing says I
- 15:05Speaker 5: have faith more than using it because he made it right.
- 15:10Speaker 5: And so it's like, you know, knowing that, it's like
- 15:14Speaker 5: every time you actually put in the work and you
- 15:16Speaker 5: send a message to him, like I believe I went
- 15:18Speaker 5: out there for twelve hours a day. I ain't make
- 15:20Speaker 5: a dollar, but I know something gonna shake. And so
- 15:24Speaker 5: you know what's more, Yeah, how do you show more
- 15:27Speaker 5: faith than that?
- 15:27Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 15:28Speaker 1: I can see where that's a deeper message than the
- 15:30Speaker 1: Christian message. For sure, Yeah, for sure, I really like that.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Yeah I'm about yeah, yeah, work is freight. That's how
- 15:37Speaker 6: I look at work.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Like you know, if you go to the gym and
- 15:39Speaker 5: you lift the weight, matter, if you lift it sad, happy,
- 15:43Speaker 5: You're still gonna gain muscle. And that's how you look
- 15:45Speaker 5: at being in the business. You if you said you
- 15:48Speaker 5: still go to work, You're gonna get somewhere.
- 15:50Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 15:50Speaker 6: So you know he taught me that.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that. That's a good one for sure.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Next next month zone at the.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Katrina it was just you know, navigating through the schools
- 16:01Speaker 5: in Mississippi, being in New Orleans, cas Like I said,
- 16:03Speaker 5: everybody wanted to fight me.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Because oh you're still how old were you at I
- 16:07Speaker 1: was like.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Thirteen, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So because everybody
- 16:12Speaker 5: wanted to fight me, got kicked out of every school.
- 16:14Speaker 5: I was the aggressive because I'm a city kid even
- 16:17Speaker 5: though they're coming at me. And I went to alternative school.
- 16:20Speaker 6: That was fun. I ain't gonna lie.
- 16:24Speaker 5: And then at the alternative school, I went to Piney
- 16:26Speaker 5: Woods Middle of nowhere in Mississippi for like a year,
- 16:30Speaker 5: and everybody who was there was court order.
- 16:33Speaker 6: So that was the hell of experience because I had
- 16:38Speaker 6: never been.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Away from my family. I had never been in an
- 16:42Speaker 5: institution before, nothing like that, you know what I mean.
- 16:44Speaker 5: So that really broke me and built me up at
- 16:48Speaker 5: an early age. You know, most people go to jail
- 16:50Speaker 5: as adults. Yeah, I was in quote unquote. It ain't jail,
- 16:54Speaker 5: but it felt like yeah yeah, and so I was
- 16:56Speaker 5: able to just.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Be by myself.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Is that where you found you were building building up
- 17:01Speaker 4: versus because you said it broke and then built you up.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yeah, Like, it just showed me how to be with myself,
- 17:05Speaker 5: how to think, and to just be in the room.
- 17:07Speaker 5: You got four walls. That's the down parents act like
- 17:11Speaker 5: uh uh CEOs correctional officers. There's gangs in there. They
- 17:15Speaker 5: jumping everybody, stabbing them, they poking eyes out. Yeah, it's
- 17:20Speaker 5: they got bloods, crips, gds. So you know, you really
- 17:24Speaker 5: had to be diplomatic.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Now. Luckily I know Celles. So I'm in that thing. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 6: I'm in that thing. I'm real cool with everybody here.
- 17:32Speaker 6: I'm selling them.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Uh.
- 17:34Speaker 6: I don't know if I can say that. Yeah, I mean, well, no,
- 17:40Speaker 6: I mean this ain't really nothing.
- 17:41Speaker 5: It was these things called yrs right, And I got
- 17:44Speaker 5: it from these dudes up in the Baltimore because it
- 17:47Speaker 5: was a lot of quot or the dude from b
- 17:49Speaker 5: Moore and you sit there. If you said Arne pills
- 17:53Speaker 5: in the sun for a while, sorry, yeah, so if
- 18:01Speaker 5: you set Arione pills in the sun, orange peel yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Good. So if you said Arione peels in the sun
- 18:10Speaker 6: for a while, they're from ment right so much I
- 18:15Speaker 6: don't know.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Orange peels on the South.
- 18:19Speaker 5: And then you guys, you want them to get high
- 18:21Speaker 5: and get a buzz. So once I figured out that's recipe,
- 18:25Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, I'm like, oh ship. So
- 18:27Speaker 5: my main job was stashing yorps. They call them your
- 18:30Speaker 5: range pills around campus. Oh wow, then you know, but
- 18:34Speaker 5: in secret spots. But they got to be where the
- 18:35Speaker 5: sun can hit them, you know what I mean. So
- 18:38Speaker 5: I started selling yours to everybody and they know if
- 18:40Speaker 5: they I just.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Want to know what you're saying. Can you say europs
- 18:43Speaker 1: just in case.
- 18:44Speaker 6: I are you saying it your Yeah?
- 18:46Speaker 1: They call it y E r p s Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 1: make sure.
- 18:52Speaker 5: So it was called yorks And man, I made a
- 18:54Speaker 5: killing off and I bought my first gold grill off
- 18:56Speaker 5: of them. My first pet Jordan's. Yeah, I was fourteen.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But how are you getting the Jordan's and the stuff?
- 19:04Speaker 6: Oh?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Nah?
- 19:05Speaker 5: So you could go home on some weekends. So you
- 19:08Speaker 5: go home for two days, then bam, I'm spending all
- 19:10Speaker 5: my bridge. I went to the mall, got my gold
- 19:12Speaker 5: grill fitted.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And you weren't scared about going back and get a rock.
- 19:15Speaker 6: No, no, no, because I'm diplomatic. I'm really you know
- 19:18Speaker 6: what I mean.
- 19:19Speaker 5: So this the school, I ain't had to fight nobody
- 19:22Speaker 5: because at the end of the day, just like jail,
- 19:25Speaker 5: you got to go to sleep at night. So it's
- 19:27Speaker 5: a different level of respect in this place versus like
- 19:31Speaker 5: at school. You know, you get to beat the nigga
- 19:33Speaker 5: up and go home. The nigga he can't get you
- 19:36Speaker 5: in your sleep. So if you got your ass whipped
- 19:40Speaker 5: in this place, you deserved it because they wouldn't fuck
- 19:42Speaker 5: with nobody because they know he might come back and
- 19:44Speaker 5: get me.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 19:46Speaker 6: I gotta go to bed.
- 19:47Speaker 5: And so while each sell what I said, why each room,
- 19:52Speaker 5: telling you why why each room was separate? You got
- 19:55Speaker 5: two three other roommates in there, so I could be
- 19:57Speaker 5: like yo, I need to open the door at twelve,
- 19:59Speaker 5: I'm coming through.
- 20:00Speaker 6: I'm gonna text you, you know what I mean. So
- 20:03Speaker 6: it was kind of like that. So you always showed respect.
- 20:06Speaker 6: So yeah, I ain't really get into it up and now.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Good blog.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Okay, when do we get the advertiser?
- 20:26Speaker 6: I got you.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Earlier.
- 20:29Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, I'm going to miss out on the guy.
- 20:34Speaker 5: So take your ballooning, take the ridge joint off, and
- 20:38Speaker 5: then I'm gonna take your blonga back.
- 20:40Speaker 3: You're gonna to bread.
- 20:42Speaker 6: I'm gonna toast the whole thing. This this, this is
- 20:45Speaker 6: the chef of the family.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You don't mess this up.
- 20:49Speaker 6: She like she likes se her in the kitchen.
- 20:51Speaker 1: We pulled the red broom off like this.
- 20:54Speaker 6: There you go, and we ain't got one some of
- 20:57Speaker 6: the jit we were do it.
- 20:59Speaker 7: Then here's my little blooney back get her belonging.
- 21:05Speaker 6: This one on the pan.
- 21:07Speaker 7: You don't put it in the pan, Blooney, set it.
- 21:12Speaker 6: On top of that.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Okay, I got.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I can't wait to try this, y'all.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Got I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing
- 21:21Speaker 6: a lot of pressure right now with the knife in
- 21:23Speaker 6: the fall.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Okay, so real much all he put me on bologna.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we don't appetize the.
- 21:33Speaker 6: Chair, so we just but we ain't too you know,
- 21:38Speaker 6: know who, we like it, So you just you're gonna
- 21:44Speaker 6: eat it just to get the loan.
- 21:46Speaker 3: You get the little meat off.
- 21:47Speaker 6: Here and then you just throw it away.
- 21:51Speaker 1: But by the time that I almost tried to eat it.
- 21:54Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, do that. I'm not responsible for that.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's so salty.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I like the crush on formalized m hm. So
- 22:03Speaker 5: I'm about to eat the balloon the back up of
- 22:05Speaker 5: y'all so I can get these sandwiches.
- 22:09Speaker 6: What was saying?
- 22:09Speaker 1: I like it.
- 22:10Speaker 7: It's different appetising this grill balloon sell for sure.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm glad you. I'm glad. I asked if it was
- 22:21Speaker 1: plastic or.
- 22:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't eat that.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I was like, I mean, what is it though? It
- 22:26Speaker 3: gotta be you gotta be edible, right, No, I don't know.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you're supposed to take it off
- 22:31Speaker 1: before you cook it or out there, but be glad
- 22:33Speaker 1: to eat the red part.
- 22:34Speaker 6: No, that's just yeah, yeah, yeah, that's not normal.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Okay, So take us back because I want to get
- 22:42Speaker 4: to the part where you and the love meat man,
- 22:45Speaker 4: and then the success and nothing.
- 22:47Speaker 1: The money comes next. I want to I want to know,
- 22:49Speaker 1: but but I want to inch up to it.
- 22:51Speaker 4: So what's the next chapter after you successfully get out
- 22:54Speaker 4: of the fake jail?
- 22:56Speaker 6: The fake jail? Right?
- 22:57Speaker 5: So I went into my tenth grade year at this
- 23:03Speaker 5: high school called Florence in the middle of Ringing County
- 23:07Speaker 5: in Mississippi, and I hated this place. I hated just
- 23:12Speaker 5: being in the middle of Mississippi. Like, so every day
- 23:14Speaker 5: after school I was just going to computer and just
- 23:16Speaker 5: work on music. I was a rapper, so I would
- 23:19Speaker 5: just come home, write music, go on Facebook promoted, and
- 23:22Speaker 5: I just post on people. You know, Facebook got the walls.
- 23:24Speaker 5: I just post on their walls all day, just post
- 23:27Speaker 5: my links. And I fucked around and found her page,
- 23:31Speaker 5: and you know, people had two Facebook pages at the time.
- 23:35Speaker 5: So I DM her first page. I'm like, yo, it's
- 23:38Speaker 5: am like me you yeah, And I got no response.
- 23:43Speaker 5: Sorted left me on red Oh you.
- 23:46Speaker 7: Saw it and didn't I thought I was that guy,
- 23:49Speaker 7: you know what I mean, And so I probably just
- 23:53Speaker 7: wasn't paying attention.
- 23:54Speaker 5: I don't know what happened. I don't think she like
- 23:56Speaker 5: read niggas for real anyway, Uh what I was about
- 24:01Speaker 5: to say. So she wound up responding to a DM
- 24:08Speaker 5: on her second page, and you know, one thing led
- 24:12Speaker 5: to another and we just ended up at the mall.
- 24:14Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 24:15Speaker 5: We were sixteen, and uh we've been rocking every since.
- 24:19Speaker 5: She put up my grandma house in a little mini
- 24:20Speaker 5: coop the foreign and I took her to McDonald's. Okay,
- 24:26Speaker 5: she took me to McDonald's, but I'm saying my idea,
- 24:29Speaker 5: I'm not going to McDonald I kept it real player.
- 24:32Speaker 5: I got some chicken nuggets. She ain't get nothing because
- 24:35Speaker 5: she don't eat this stuff. I'm the only one from
- 24:37Speaker 5: the hood.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Oh so you're not from the contry girl.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 1: He was like, yo, let's go to a stop McDonalds. Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 1: what did you pick up the door?
- 24:51Speaker 7: No?
- 24:51Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't want to, So you just sat
- 24:54Speaker 1: there and watching.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 1: We just kind of kicked it on first day. Okay,
- 25:00Speaker 1: the one from dump.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Yeah, let me get on my arm.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, it's sewing gum.
- 25:08Speaker 6: I got carried away. I got excited. Uh what I
- 25:12Speaker 6: was about to say, So, she actually, if you knew
- 25:15Speaker 6: I was the one trying to get this off. The
- 25:16Speaker 6: heat on my ballooning.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm on my cheese, melty.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Okay, he's what you want, he.
- 25:23Speaker 6: Talked, I'm gonna use this nephing.
- 25:27Speaker 2: You want to hear it?
- 25:27Speaker 1: Take my plate you got you're well, you're watching you struggle.
- 25:32Speaker 6: I don't be cooking, Okay, I'll just be easy. It's
- 25:35Speaker 6: backwards today.
- 25:38Speaker 1: So well, that's because because you was the real struggle.
- 25:40Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I was doing the one struggle. That's crazy. Uh,
- 25:45Speaker 6: what were we all?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Right? We just wanted to know if you knew from
- 25:48Speaker 1: sixteen if she was the one.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Yes, I did.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like a feeling you get. You know what
- 25:52Speaker 5: I'm saying, It's like a feeling you get. I don't
- 25:54Speaker 5: know how to explain it. She always asks me to explain.
- 25:56Speaker 5: I'm like, I can't explain it.
- 25:58Speaker 6: But it's just a feeling you get, man, you know.
- 26:00Speaker 5: And then I'm a sucker for country women, so like,
- 26:03Speaker 5: you know, I know that to me, I think the
- 26:06Speaker 5: real exactic woman of this world is a country woman,
- 26:09Speaker 5: you know. But you know, everybody want to go to
- 26:11Speaker 5: these other countries and ship, so you know. Yeah, but
- 26:15Speaker 5: when I saw I knew she was the one, you know,
- 26:18Speaker 5: because she country.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Oh my gosh.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Okay, so y'all meet and then y'all cross paths. You're
- 26:26Speaker 4: in Mississippi at this point, you guys be in Mississippi
- 26:29Speaker 4: and you guys go, don't go to the same high
- 26:32Speaker 4: schools or no.
- 26:32Speaker 5: She lived now, she lived like fifty minutes away from me. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 5: fifty So like this all the eyes against us, right.
- 26:41Speaker 6: You know what I mean? But nah, we made it work.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Our first conversation, I called off the house phone because
- 26:47Speaker 5: my phone, you know, Bill wasn't paid someone right, right,
- 26:50Speaker 5: I don't know, caught off the house phone. We talked,
- 26:52Speaker 5: and we talked five six hours. Yeah yeah, I told
- 26:56Speaker 5: her like I told her alive. I was like, yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 5: my phone broke or something like that. Yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 6: My key to bologna sandwich is like mustard, not too much.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah. I noticed that you feel like you just want.
- 27:10Speaker 6: To live Twain. You don't want to you know what
- 27:12Speaker 6: I'm saying, Musty strong must of the hit you ass you?
- 27:17Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, so we got the mail the mustard.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Now we're gonna cheese on the bologna.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Okay, all right?
- 27:26Speaker 6: Boloona SAMs usually don't take this long. Okay, I'm talking.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's okay. We're gonna don't worry. She's gonna take over soon.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Don't take over, because I know you don't build a
- 27:38Speaker 1: you don't build a restaurant, multiple restaurants without facing some
- 27:42Speaker 1: kind of Oh.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah, trauma, trauma, he worked, trauma make you a gangster.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so you guys, they.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Fast forward to the next big milestone between the both
- 27:56Speaker 4: because now there has to be.
- 27:58Speaker 6: A big We both graduated, well ship, we broke up.
- 28:03Speaker 6: We broke up.
- 28:03Speaker 5: My partner house got raided by SWAT one night and
- 28:06Speaker 5: I pulled up and she blowed my phone up at
- 28:09Speaker 5: the same time, and I'm trying to see the hell
- 28:11Speaker 5: going on.
- 28:12Speaker 6: I picked the phone snap she was out.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:15Speaker 5: No, this nigga got too much. This nigga abuse the
- 28:20Speaker 5: whole time. Like I'm dealing with SWAT while she's blowing
- 28:23Speaker 5: my phone up.
- 28:23Speaker 1: So you heard the conversation going on.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Well no, So, like you said, I guess whatever they
- 28:29Speaker 7: had going on, I'm calling him like ba ba back.
- 28:32Speaker 3: He's not picking up the fine.
- 28:34Speaker 7: You know.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Nigga's like why, I'm like okay, like that time.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 28:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that that that was a wild. So we
- 28:51Speaker 5: broke up six month later got back together. Our theme
- 28:54Speaker 5: song was Lil Wayne how to Love when we got
- 28:56Speaker 5: backed together. So after that we was like, you know,
- 29:03Speaker 5: I always knew she was gonna be my wife. Let's
- 29:06Speaker 5: start there. So we getting ready to graduate high school.
- 29:10Speaker 5: It's like, what's what's what's the move? She was going
- 29:12Speaker 5: to Florida to go to school for culinary arts and
- 29:17Speaker 5: I was going and I was already doing music. And
- 29:20Speaker 5: I was in school one day and this white boy
- 29:22Speaker 5: had said, he said, hey, man, you ever heard of
- 29:26Speaker 5: full Sell.
- 29:27Speaker 6: He said, your music's dope. You should go there.
- 29:29Speaker 5: So I just googled it and it was a school
- 29:31Speaker 5: for people who want to study like the arts, right,
- 29:34Speaker 5: So I went. I wound up going to school for
- 29:36Speaker 5: entertainment business and while she went to school in Tampa
- 29:38Speaker 5: to be a chef.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I was in Orlando, she was in Tampa. So
- 29:43Speaker 5: we both went to college in Florida and we lived
- 29:45Speaker 5: like an hour apart. Oh damn, but you asked me,
- 29:51Speaker 5: that was like the dream scenario, right, We both got
- 29:53Speaker 5: chanced to focus being our own city. And then like
- 29:56Speaker 5: when I'm missing out, just hopped on the interstate cut
- 29:58Speaker 5: on that he was young. The TM one O three,
- 30:01Speaker 5: y'all never forget because that whole album would take you
- 30:03Speaker 5: to Tampa.
- 30:04Speaker 6: The whole album talked about you know what I mean?
- 30:06Speaker 1: So yeah, the GZ album.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Young Jeezy TAM one O three. Yeah, I bought as
- 30:11Speaker 6: soon as I moved out there.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Okay, I got what year was that?
- 30:15Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying? We went the target. Oh
- 30:18Speaker 6: you moved out there? Yeah, it's twenty twelve. Twenty twelve.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I love me some Jesus.
- 30:28Speaker 6: My favorite song on the album is the one with
- 30:29Speaker 6: Trick Daddy.
- 30:30Speaker 5: I can't remember the name, but Trick Daddy snaw oh yeah, yeah, Okay.
- 30:36Speaker 1: So you guys are doing your thing. You finished college,
- 30:38Speaker 1: you finished culinary.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Yeah, or we got to drop out during that process,
- 30:44Speaker 5: we had moved in with each other about a year
- 30:47Speaker 5: and some change a year and a half being out there.
- 30:50Speaker 6: The day after we moved in, she found out she
- 30:53Speaker 6: was pregnant. So we just started the family.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Yeah with our first girl. She's are putting butter Okay, okay.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I was getting nervous what you're doing now, I'm becoming
- 31:09Speaker 4: more like you on the back.
- 31:11Speaker 6: I need that though, because I will I would have
- 31:15Speaker 6: started spreading that butt on your break.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Okay, So now you're moving in with a culinary wife,
- 31:20Speaker 4: so you're getting said really good.
- 31:21Speaker 6: But I was getting fair good. So matter. That's one
- 31:23Speaker 6: of the reasons I knew too.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Like when I met at sixteen, she was cooking the
- 31:27Speaker 5: whole Thanksgiving meal for a family of thirty people.
- 31:29Speaker 6: Wow, all on her.
- 31:31Speaker 5: So I'm like, all right, they trusting her with this.
- 31:33Speaker 5: This is crazy on the people we trusted my grandma.
- 31:36Speaker 5: So to see the youngest person in the family cooking
- 31:38Speaker 5: for everybody, everybody, I knew she was different, Like, oh
- 31:41Speaker 5: she built different. So and then she was self taught.
- 31:44Speaker 5: She was a self taught shift at this parent because
- 31:46Speaker 5: they lived in the middle of nowhere. And so I guess,
- 31:49Speaker 5: I guess she could speak for this. But her struggle
- 31:51Speaker 5: meal was not It wasn't a struggle meal. But she
- 31:54Speaker 5: was learning how to cook.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Because kind of like for me, it was more so
- 31:59Speaker 4: like hamburger him. So you learn how to cook for real,
- 32:04Speaker 4: for real. But yeah, but your passion was cooking, Yes,
- 32:08Speaker 4: I always did.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Okay, so you.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Guys are living together, have first baby, baby family, don
- 32:14Speaker 4: it what happens next?
- 32:16Speaker 5: We were sitting in the back of my charger one
- 32:18Speaker 5: night and we just left the gym LA Fitness, and
- 32:22Speaker 5: she was just saying on the way home, and I'm like,
- 32:24Speaker 5: what's wrong. So I got in the back seat with her,
- 32:26Speaker 5: and man, she cried to me because she just was like,
- 32:30Speaker 5: you know what's next?
- 32:31Speaker 6: Like what we finna do? You know what I mean?
- 32:33Speaker 6: Like I'm trying to lose weight.
- 32:35Speaker 5: We gotta make money, but we don't want to put
- 32:37Speaker 5: our child in daycare because we don't trust nobody, you
- 32:39Speaker 5: know what I mean. So I said, you come from
- 32:42Speaker 5: a family of bosses. Her daddy owned a construction company.
- 32:45Speaker 5: I come from a family of boss They don't clothing
- 32:47Speaker 5: the stores. My grandpa in the parking garage and limousine company.
- 32:50Speaker 5: So it was just like, well, let's just start a business.
- 32:54Speaker 5: It wasn't like a let's go find out a job
- 32:56Speaker 5: or something like that. We just went with our first instinct.
- 32:59Speaker 5: And so we started to doing meal deliveries from home.
- 33:02Speaker 5: So she would cook the food and I would run
- 33:04Speaker 5: the Instagram and get customers and get people to order
- 33:08Speaker 5: from us.
- 33:08Speaker 1: So and then I was like, Florida.
- 33:10Speaker 5: It's in Florida, Yeah, yeah, and Orlando. So we were
- 33:13Speaker 5: hopping to duringo and we would ride around to clothing
- 33:17Speaker 5: stores like DT L R, hair salons and stuff like that.
- 33:21Speaker 5: We had a we had a thing that keep the
- 33:22Speaker 5: food hot and plug up into the couple of we blew.
- 33:25Speaker 5: So many fuse about it. Way we take a lot
- 33:27Speaker 5: of parting. But and we would sell out of plates
- 33:31Speaker 5: every day. So I would go with like three hundred
- 33:33Speaker 5: dollars a day. We had fifteen plates, and we would
- 33:36Speaker 5: do fifteen dollars each. Yeah I believe, Yeah, thanks so,
- 33:39Speaker 5: and so it should be three hundred if I'm if
- 33:41Speaker 5: I'm doing the correct but go with three hundred a day,
- 33:44Speaker 5: and we would sell out. We go to carmacks, you
- 33:46Speaker 5: know what I mean, We'll pull up to them. You know,
- 33:48Speaker 5: salesman can't leave. I learned that early. They don't like
- 33:50Speaker 5: to leave lunch.
- 33:51Speaker 6: So I pull up the dodge car, you know, all
- 33:54Speaker 6: all the things on one streing.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just pulling the block.
- 33:58Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, this before you could just post all day,
- 34:05Speaker 5: you know what I mean? You like so because I
- 34:07Speaker 5: come from my bad Oh, I come from perfect. I
- 34:11Speaker 5: come from like hand to hand sales, being in the
- 34:14Speaker 5: streets with the people, that's perfect, thank you. And so
- 34:18Speaker 5: we just went with that our first instinct, but at
- 34:20Speaker 5: the same time we still I was big on collecting data.
- 34:23Speaker 5: So I'm getting emails from everybody. I'm making them follow
- 34:26Speaker 5: the Instagram and every morning I'm sending out an email
- 34:29Speaker 5: with the menu, so they constantly getting here with you,
- 34:33Speaker 5: you know what I mean. And I'm constantly posting on
- 34:35Speaker 5: Instagram and we just do it that from there, then
- 34:38Speaker 5: we got a catering gig. She didn't want to do it.
- 34:40Speaker 5: You know, she's an artist. So artists never believe in themselves, right,
- 34:45Speaker 5: So I'm the I'm the bugging like we're gonna do it.
- 34:47Speaker 5: You're tripping like this ship we need to sell it.
- 34:50Speaker 5: And so now we didn't have a niche. We wasn't
- 34:52Speaker 5: doing new all this food we're doing, We're doing everything,
- 34:55Speaker 5: and we started doing catering. Catering I hate because it's
- 35:00Speaker 5: not constant. It's a high profit, but it's not constant,
- 35:03Speaker 5: you know.
- 35:03Speaker 7: What I mean.
- 35:04Speaker 5: I like day to day business, and so because you
- 35:07Speaker 5: can staff against that and it's just from catering at
- 35:13Speaker 5: the Forster. In the catering, I was like, I was like,
- 35:16Speaker 5: this is all we're gonna do is high profit. Yeah,
- 35:19Speaker 5: sporadic but I ain't.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Trying to run no, and you guys are also raising
- 35:22Speaker 1: the baby at the same yeah, against I like.
- 35:27Speaker 5: But don't get it wrong though, Like we come from
- 35:28Speaker 5: a village, so we was always able to thank God
- 35:31Speaker 5: for my parents, who was always able to.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Be like, look y'all, watch it for two months, because
- 35:35Speaker 6: we're about to do two months.
- 35:38Speaker 5: See her family, they own their own businesses, so they
- 35:42Speaker 5: don't have the pressure of a job and they can't
- 35:45Speaker 5: wait to keep it.
- 35:48Speaker 2: So they was like hell, yes, yeah, yeah, when we.
- 35:57Speaker 6: Need to lock in, like right now at this very moment.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Yeah, we fired a GM from the food truck three
- 36:03Speaker 5: weeks ago and we sent Nola back to the city
- 36:06Speaker 5: to be with them until we get a person back
- 36:09Speaker 5: in there.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Or just like, I like this.
- 36:13Speaker 6: It's a village, man. People don't like doing that, but
- 36:15Speaker 6: we was.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Raised by village and we know the benefits, you know
- 36:18Speaker 5: what I mean, So you know, yeah, that's the only
- 36:20Speaker 5: way I would do it if I had the kids.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Got to use the village, all right, So I got
- 36:24Speaker 5: the first perfect Blonga sandwich.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Such a good who want to do.
- 36:30Speaker 1: We can split it?
- 36:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 36:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that was She's like myself though, Diagne or straight
- 36:38Speaker 5: though diagne or straight?
- 36:40Speaker 6: How are you supposed to cut it diagonal?
- 36:46Speaker 1: So is there a reason why I diagnosed better?
- 36:53Speaker 6: I feel like it is more satisfying. Is it's more satisfying?
- 36:58Speaker 3: Look here, you just take this plate and keep that
- 37:01Speaker 3: on there since the meet here.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Okay, okay, but we're gonna almost judge, I've had a
- 37:07Speaker 4: couple of bolognas. Go ahead, you take that, take my
- 37:17Speaker 4: little making them. Are you comfortable with us trying and
- 37:21Speaker 4: eating before you because we camera.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Show that one. Look at that.
- 37:28Speaker 6: Chet, that sound that on the at the new spot?
- 37:33Speaker 1: Yes, cheers, and I like that the bread is toasted.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Come on you acting like a chef man?
- 37:38Speaker 6: No, mm hmm, come on, come on. But then we're
- 37:44Speaker 6: having it's almost like.
- 37:46Speaker 1: An upgraded up grill cheese. Yeah, really great job.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Oh you did a good job.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Man, did a really good job.
- 37:55Speaker 6: I'm like the Gordon Ramsey bologna.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It's funny because you were getting into it, like you
- 37:59Speaker 1: were excited about this.
- 38:01Speaker 6: This is my specialty. She'd be like cook, like, but
- 38:04Speaker 6: I'm gonna do belongings.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Then, so right now you're sending one of your kids back.
- 38:09Speaker 7: They're but well, right now they're both there because they're
- 38:12Speaker 7: on a school break. The big girl is, but Nola
- 38:15Speaker 7: has been there since like the beginning of January, and
- 38:19Speaker 7: like you said, only because I've been we've been working
- 38:22Speaker 7: at the food trug.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I was gonna say, as a woman becoming a
- 38:29Speaker 4: new mom, I would say, like, man, that's gotta be
- 38:31Speaker 4: very me and a mom, because you can't really the
- 38:34Speaker 4: kids are like I know my house.
- 38:36Speaker 1: My friends make jokes, but like when my daughter and
- 38:39Speaker 1: I around, oh, she's strapped to my back because she
- 38:42Speaker 1: is literally like told me, touch me, kissed me, touched me,
- 38:45Speaker 1: told me sit down. Like I'm like, she'll be like
- 38:48Speaker 1: sitting here next to me. She's too she runs that
- 38:53Speaker 1: house like that. I want to I want to brush
- 38:55Speaker 1: my teeth. The other day and my daughter wanted to
- 38:58Speaker 1: be on my back.
- 38:59Speaker 4: We're here visiting it, and I promise you strapped her
- 39:01Speaker 4: to my back just so I could brush my teeth.
- 39:04Speaker 4: I'm like, how how would you not want to murder
- 39:07Speaker 4: everybody if you're trying to work fact And so I'm
- 39:11Speaker 4: relieved to hear that that's clearly how you guys.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Have been able to mata.
- 39:16Speaker 6: That I don't know how to do it. We're just
- 39:18Speaker 6: lucky bless.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Yeah, so there has been times where like they are here, Yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 7: we're working.
- 39:24Speaker 6: Yeah, it's very hard.
- 39:26Speaker 7: Because matter of fact, even when we first had a look,
- 39:29Speaker 7: I think I had to work at the food truck
- 39:32Speaker 7: for some reason, and I'm breastfeeding her at this time.
- 39:35Speaker 3: So like I'm on the truck working cooking stuff.
- 39:38Speaker 7: And I'm like, all right, tuting the truck and feed.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I feel like the breast kids still like they feel
- 39:45Speaker 1: like they own you over whose titty it is?
- 39:50Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm like, let her laugh.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'm like, you don't grab my i'mna grab you exactly
- 39:54Speaker 1: how she is, like she puts a hand in my
- 39:56Speaker 1: shirt and girl, get out of here.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Like my daughter had to go to sleep, like rubbing it.
- 40:03Speaker 4: I'm I'm at the new phase of mommy, don't like.
- 40:08Speaker 2: What we're done.
- 40:10Speaker 7: That is.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I had a whole new respect for breastman and bro
- 40:14Speaker 1: after that.
- 40:16Speaker 3: It's different. While I held on for ten months, I
- 40:20Speaker 3: was like the.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Second doctor said you could, you could give up. They
- 40:24Speaker 1: said twelve months, that's it, let's go.
- 40:28Speaker 4: But no, it's it takes a while aween them, and
- 40:30Speaker 4: it takes a while just to like she's still in
- 40:32Speaker 4: the she's and a half, she's still rubbing nipples. Okay,
- 40:51Speaker 4: So I'm glad you figured out the hack and you
- 40:53Speaker 4: have to support there. So you're building this business, you're
- 40:56Speaker 4: picking up catering orders. Where does Cafe Bird Street into
- 41:00Speaker 4: the line.
- 41:02Speaker 5: We would always go to like trust together dates, so
- 41:05Speaker 5: we like events, so like you know, we'll find out
- 41:09Speaker 5: what's going on around the city.
- 41:10Speaker 6: And we we like going to food truck events because
- 41:13Speaker 6: we like trying different food.
- 41:14Speaker 5: It was like love language, right, And so after we
- 41:18Speaker 5: went to one event, it was a guy with a
- 41:20Speaker 5: doughnut truck.
- 41:20Speaker 1: He had.
- 41:21Speaker 5: It was a trailer that was just so doughnuts. And
- 41:23Speaker 5: I looked at my wife, I'm like, damn, it'd be
- 41:25Speaker 5: cool if we had one of these, and it just
- 41:27Speaker 5: did Nye's right, so simple. And so we went back
- 41:31Speaker 5: home branch to asked the guy some advice. He was gracious,
- 41:33Speaker 5: gave me all the game and give me right truck
- 41:37Speaker 5: called little Blue Doughnuts out there shout out to you
- 41:39Speaker 5: because yeah, so he gave me some game and because
- 41:44Speaker 5: he embraced me, gave me some of a game.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Shit. We went home and started planning.
- 41:47Speaker 5: We was like, all, let's start a Vigne karts, not
- 41:49Speaker 5: a truck, right, I know we can take that on
- 41:51Speaker 5: and see how we gonna afford it, you know what
- 41:53Speaker 5: I mean. So it was it was like, all right,
- 41:56Speaker 5: let's start the Vigne cart. And then we sat there.
- 41:59Speaker 6: He was like, what's we got this piece of equipment
- 42:01Speaker 6: already we can.
- 42:03Speaker 5: Do shrip baskets and and we was like, well, ship,
- 42:07Speaker 5: if we already got a fire and we can do
- 42:10Speaker 5: you know them you be making, let's do let's throw
- 42:13Speaker 5: them in there, you know what I mean.
- 42:15Speaker 6: And then it was just yeah, yeah, she invented that.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Yeah, really Okay.
- 42:27Speaker 5: So I was always a big advocate for her selling
- 42:30Speaker 5: when she was making. She because she cook get home
- 42:33Speaker 5: and I'm like, yo, people need to eat this. Like
- 42:35Speaker 5: I'm a great judge of stuff.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Let me. I'm just curious. How did you feel hearing
- 42:39Speaker 1: your man say like, oh my god, as a woman
- 42:43Speaker 1: so good?
- 42:44Speaker 2: Right of course?
- 42:45Speaker 7: And he was always like we gotta sell this, I'm like,
- 42:49Speaker 7: and I'm making it. So it was like for real,
- 42:52Speaker 7: like you really think I can sell this?
- 42:53Speaker 4: Was like yeah, and this is a passion of yours.
- 42:56Speaker 4: It's like it's got to be a double double dosage
- 42:59Speaker 4: of good.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Yes, of course it is definitely mm hmm.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Okay, so he biting into your love love, I'm trying
- 43:07Speaker 4: to just love on you, and he like capitalized money.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Okay. So you got into these jumba lay and you're like, okay,
- 43:19Speaker 1: let's go.
- 43:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm like, let's do it. So we sat down
- 43:21Speaker 5: playing wind up saying you know what this is gonna
- 43:23Speaker 5: be a food truck. And so I was an Uber
- 43:26Speaker 5: driver at the time, and so I'm like, all right, bet,
- 43:29Speaker 5: I'm about to just focus on doing Uber only. Fuck catering,
- 43:33Speaker 5: fuck meal deliveries. I'm gonna just get this money to
- 43:36Speaker 5: buy food truck. Because yeah, I was like, because that's
- 43:40Speaker 5: the only predictable money I had with Uber. Catering wasn't predictable,
- 43:44Speaker 5: so I couldn't say why I'm gonna save this much
- 43:47Speaker 5: and you couldn't bet against that.
- 43:48Speaker 6: That was just plus to us. We got a catering
- 43:50Speaker 6: gig perfect.
- 43:51Speaker 5: No more mail deliveries though, just ubering, because the truck
- 43:54Speaker 5: made more money doing that than riding around trying to
- 43:57Speaker 5: sell food. And so I did for two and a
- 44:00Speaker 5: half years, saved up money to buy the food truck,
- 44:03Speaker 5: bought the food truck. Put like twenty bands on it
- 44:06Speaker 5: for him to start. Got to do the Mexico the building.
- 44:09Speaker 5: I was definitely risking. I said, this dude, twenty k
- 44:12Speaker 5: on paper. App Yeah, I was tricking and I was looking.
- 44:17Speaker 5: I'm in the uber driving somebody in between riders.
- 44:20Speaker 6: I pulled over.
- 44:21Speaker 5: Send him now, I send him ten ks as a deposit,
- 44:24Speaker 5: send him ten k heart drop. I got right back dripping.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I said, fuck it, if you scamming, I'm gonna make
- 44:29Speaker 5: it back. But luckily six weeks later he was done early.
- 44:34Speaker 5: He was like, he said, your food truck is ready,
- 44:41Speaker 5: No bad.
- 44:46Speaker 6: Is ready. I'm like, oh, ship, I ain't even got
- 44:48Speaker 6: the other half, you know what I mean. I'm like,
- 44:52Speaker 6: what I'm gonna do?
- 44:52Speaker 5: So I stalled them off for like two three more weeks,
- 44:57Speaker 5: but he was like, yo, you gotta get the food
- 44:58Speaker 5: truck because they charging me to keep it over here.
- 45:01Speaker 5: So I wound up being able to make a few
- 45:03Speaker 5: calls to family, you know what I mean, to get
- 45:04Speaker 5: the little extra top that we needed. But ultimately that
- 45:07Speaker 5: was the best decision we ever made nine tie lines
- 45:11Speaker 5: was buying a food truck. We bought our freedom that day.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so you get the food truck. First thoughts.
- 45:17Speaker 5: First thoughts is what the right Yeah, we made no
- 45:21Speaker 5: money with the food truck for the first week, eight
- 45:24Speaker 5: nine months.
- 45:25Speaker 1: You didn't make no money.
- 45:27Speaker 5: So are you trying to I mean we made eleven
- 45:30Speaker 5: thousand one time and it had no.
- 45:32Speaker 3: Profleit no profit freeing.
- 45:34Speaker 1: So but what are you doing while you're losing money?
- 45:37Speaker 1: Are you still ubering?
- 45:38Speaker 6: Yes, I'm still ubering.
- 45:40Speaker 5: And also to like, the cool thing about a food
- 45:44Speaker 5: truck is like if you open a restaurant and you
- 45:46Speaker 5: have a bad month, then they gonna kick your ass out, right.
- 45:50Speaker 5: The food truck is you got a bad month, when
- 45:52Speaker 5: you get to try again next month, you never get evicted.
- 45:55Speaker 1: You have the commissaries, right yeah, yeah, but in Florida
- 45:58Speaker 1: you don't need it.
- 45:59Speaker 5: Just it's a Georgia thing. So I could own a
- 46:02Speaker 5: food truck in Florida. All I need is a water
- 46:04Speaker 5: hook up and that's just thirty dollars a month.
- 46:07Speaker 1: So there's no no regulation though it's regulations, okay.
- 46:11Speaker 6: But you can prep on your truck, you can cook
- 46:14Speaker 6: on your trunk, you can do everything on your truck.
- 46:16Speaker 1: In Georgia, carry this truck.
- 46:18Speaker 5: You're talking the truck in my aputment complex every night,
- 46:21Speaker 5: so you ain't got a punk at No, No, we
- 46:25Speaker 5: got no over here.
- 46:26Speaker 4: We got okay, okay, so you're just breaking even.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not losing.
- 46:32Speaker 6: Yeah, well we wasn't. It was no revenue. We're just
- 46:36Speaker 6: doing We're just doing it.
- 46:37Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. You're breaking even, like as in
- 46:39Speaker 1: there's no profit, but you're not losing.
- 46:41Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:42Speaker 5: We literally would go no, I mean, we just sent
- 46:46Speaker 5: thirty five bands on the truck, so we lost that,
- 46:49Speaker 5: but we still got this asset, so you know what
- 46:51Speaker 5: I mean. So I mean, you know, we would literally
- 46:54Speaker 5: the food truck is parked in the back of our building.
- 46:56Speaker 5: We would leave out the house every day and go
- 46:58Speaker 5: in the truck and just do R and D yep,
- 47:01Speaker 5: every day, research and de yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 47:03Speaker 6: Research.
- 47:03Speaker 2: My bad, you get on the.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Food truck to do research and developm Yeah.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Now we would go cook different things, different stuff, and we.
- 47:09Speaker 6: Would have our daughter literally go out there act like
- 47:11Speaker 6: we had that food.
- 47:12Speaker 4: Oh my god, okay, and then oh so that's R
- 47:15Speaker 4: and D because I was like, wait, you go on
- 47:17Speaker 4: the food truck.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Just look at each other.
- 47:20Speaker 5: So we're going R and D all like different items
- 47:22Speaker 5: to cook, you know what I mean, stuff like that. Yeah,
- 47:26Speaker 5: probably like almost a year money now we are still
- 47:30Speaker 5: trying to open, but we don't know what the hell
- 47:32Speaker 5: we're doing. So we're just getting you know, we just
- 47:35Speaker 5: it's just that systems and we still got to make money.
- 47:39Speaker 5: So I'm still uber driving. She's still going to PF change,
- 47:42Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 47:43Speaker 4: Like she still was working people, okay, and then the
- 47:46Speaker 4: babies in and out, in and out. The babies are
- 47:49Speaker 4: in and out, so the baby.
- 47:51Speaker 5: Sometimes in Mississippi, sometimes me and her just got flip
- 47:54Speaker 5: flops schedules. So if she worked in the morning from
- 47:58Speaker 5: ten to like five, and I'm a home with our
- 48:01Speaker 5: daughter and then when she come home, I'm fight out
- 48:03Speaker 5: the door.
- 48:03Speaker 6: Then we did that for like two years.
- 48:06Speaker 5: So and then we got our like we did our
- 48:09Speaker 5: first event ever, which was in Cocoa Beach, a hit amazing. Yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 5: but you gonna make like one thousand dollars, you know
- 48:18Speaker 5: what I mean. That ain't profit, that's your revenue. And
- 48:20Speaker 5: so then our second event ever, we got a bad
- 48:23Speaker 5: habit of going big. We got a bad habit of
- 48:26Speaker 5: jumping the water that's too deep and so but It's
- 48:29Speaker 5: good though, because it conditioned the hell out of it.
- 48:32Speaker 5: So we did a Jacksonville jazz fist. Got on the
- 48:34Speaker 5: phone just dude, I'm like, bro, we've been doing this
- 48:37Speaker 5: a long time.
- 48:37Speaker 6: Bro lie with us. I'm not saying like that, but
- 48:41Speaker 6: I'm like, I'm lying selling the dream. He was like,
- 48:43Speaker 6: all right, bet, I got you. I'm like, oh, it worked.
- 48:47Speaker 6: We got to show up. It's a jazz flis with
- 48:48Speaker 6: one hundred thousand people.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Three days in a row, and he put us by
- 48:54Speaker 5: the main stage because we're new artist food and it's
- 48:56Speaker 5: a jazz fest. I got like eight family members all
- 48:59Speaker 5: I'm working for no charge. They even Jordia Jackson And
- 49:04Speaker 5: so three days in the road.
- 49:05Speaker 6: Got I asked, what what do you mean?
- 49:09Speaker 5: No processes, no recipes, no systems, wing, not knowing how
- 49:14Speaker 5: to do a damn remote event with food.
- 49:17Speaker 6: You're talking about great, You're.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Talking about sending people to the store together.
- 49:21Speaker 6: I got another you know what I'm saying, Bologna.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Enjoy your reunion with the Blogey take take your bike
- 49:32Speaker 1: because I got I got questions coming.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Enjoy Jason.
- 49:36Speaker 1: It was crazy, Okay, so you you end up getting
- 49:38Speaker 1: a beat, and how's your family looking at you like
- 49:40Speaker 1: you lost your mind.
- 49:44Speaker 6: My family crazy, bro. Like if I go tell them
- 49:48Speaker 6: tomorrow like I'm about I'm about.
- 49:50Speaker 5: To go build another World Trade center, They're gonna be like,
- 49:53Speaker 5: all right, let's break, let's preak, let's go.
- 49:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 49:59Speaker 6: Yeah, but our family is real faith.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Based, you know, so like and it's workers praying to
- 50:07Speaker 1: them right.
- 50:07Speaker 6: Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 50:08Speaker 5: Well, half of my family Christian, half muslim sothing. You know,
- 50:12Speaker 5: it's like my family always worked, even the christicide, you
- 50:15Speaker 5: know what I mean. But they just super supportive. We
- 50:19Speaker 5: we done lost so much and been through so much
- 50:21Speaker 5: her daddy and built the hell of a business. They
- 50:23Speaker 5: know what it looks like to start to go. So
- 50:26Speaker 5: they like anytime were trying to come up with out there,
- 50:28Speaker 5: they with it. They're gonna fly out, they're gonna drive out.
- 50:30Speaker 5: They're gonna spend their own money to come do it
- 50:33Speaker 5: for free with us. So like we really got a cheeko.
- 50:35Speaker 5: Ain't gonna lie like our family is gangster.
- 50:38Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 50:39Speaker 6: I give it to them for real, that's awesome.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Okay, So after the jazz festival and getting that beating, going.
- 50:48Speaker 5: Back home, count your money and realize you ain't got
- 50:51Speaker 5: nothing nothing. So that event, I remember, we made seven
- 50:54Speaker 5: thousand and one hundred and fifty something dollars.
- 50:58Speaker 6: We had nothing to show for it because we.
- 51:02Speaker 5: By the time you get hotels, by the time you
- 51:04Speaker 5: pulling this ten thousand pound food truck on the interstate,
- 51:08Speaker 5: you're running the freezer truck for fourteen hundred you you
- 51:11Speaker 5: know what I mean. All of that, we really bought
- 51:13Speaker 5: an education for the first year of operating, not the
- 51:17Speaker 5: year that we was actually educating ourselves. When we started operating,
- 51:21Speaker 5: was a whole year of education. I remember we did
- 51:24Speaker 5: the event in Panama with maybe eleven thousand dollars, and
- 51:27Speaker 5: we got back home.
- 51:29Speaker 6: We did the numbers all my bread. We ain't make
- 51:32Speaker 6: no money, and my wife was crying.
- 51:34Speaker 4: She was like, I was gonna s and I was
- 51:37Speaker 4: gonna ask, because you guys are so close, see the
- 51:40Speaker 4: people that are closer to you become more expendable.
- 51:42Speaker 1: How did this not like turn you guys against each other.
- 51:46Speaker 6: That's what to do. It's gonna tell you, you know
- 51:48Speaker 6: what I'm saying. And so I say.
- 51:50Speaker 5: The good thing about me and herd is we childhood.
- 51:52Speaker 5: So we're sixteen years old, so it's like I prioritize
- 51:56Speaker 5: our relationship over everything, right because us together that we're
- 52:00Speaker 5: gonna make more money than anybody. So it's like.
- 52:05Speaker 6: I got a different view, right, you know.
- 52:06Speaker 5: You see on Instagram all these men talk about like,
- 52:09Speaker 5: you know, stay away from women, stay away from marriage,
- 52:11Speaker 5: they're gonna make you broke.
- 52:13Speaker 6: To me, it's the opposite, because I'm from the South,
- 52:15Speaker 6: like I like country women. They make you rich.
- 52:17Speaker 5: So it's like, you know what I mean, Like with me,
- 52:19Speaker 5: it's like I look at it as relationships are hard
- 52:23Speaker 5: either way it go. We just suck at relationships. It's
- 52:27Speaker 5: not that relationships ain't supposed to be in you know
- 52:29Speaker 5: what I mean, So you just gotta really like we
- 52:33Speaker 5: had and then I spend a lot of time with
- 52:35Speaker 5: her parents, her dad.
- 52:37Speaker 6: She spent a lot of time with my parents.
- 52:38Speaker 5: Our families come together, you know what I mean, So
- 52:41Speaker 5: like they have parties together, they do shit when we're
- 52:43Speaker 5: not there. So our family so blended that we locked in.
- 52:48Speaker 5: And so it's like nothing could come in between her,
- 52:49Speaker 5: not even money, and that's like our priority, Like we'll
- 52:52Speaker 5: never let the money come in between them, you know
- 52:54Speaker 5: what I mean. And so most every time we really
- 52:57Speaker 5: get into it. It might not be about money, but
- 52:59Speaker 5: you could always trace it back to money.
- 53:02Speaker 6: Yeah, you see what I'm saying.
- 53:04Speaker 5: Everything of money problem. I learned that from just being
- 53:07Speaker 5: in business too. Like most of everything and money problem,
- 53:10Speaker 5: it just don't seem like it.
- 53:11Speaker 6: Yeah you know what I mean. So, yeah, like we
- 53:14Speaker 6: we liked them since childhood. So all this shit just
- 53:17Speaker 6: I like that.
- 53:17Speaker 7: I like that.
- 53:18Speaker 1: So and you guys have faced all different types of storm.
- 53:22Speaker 6: Yeah, we lost hell of money.
- 53:24Speaker 5: We have made money, We didn't lost friends, a lot
- 53:26Speaker 5: of close people that we thought was close. Just because
- 53:31Speaker 5: you know, as you become quote unquote successful, you got
- 53:35Speaker 5: to elevate your consciousness too, because if now.
- 53:38Speaker 6: You're gonna lose it.
- 53:39Speaker 1: And so what do you mean by that?
- 53:40Speaker 5: What I mean is like, because we're the owners of
- 53:44Speaker 5: the business, right, the business is only gonna grow high
- 53:47Speaker 5: as we go because we're controlling the ship. We're driving
- 53:50Speaker 5: the ship. And so if if my education is here,
- 53:55Speaker 5: the business is here. If my education is here.
- 53:58Speaker 6: The business is here.
- 53:59Speaker 5: So you gotta elevate yourself as your business grow, or
- 54:03Speaker 5: it's gonna outgrow you and then it's gonna crash and
- 54:05Speaker 5: burn because you can't even sustain the success that you
- 54:08Speaker 5: just got because you don't have the habit. You ain't
- 54:10Speaker 5: got the knowledge or the wisdom, you know what I mean.
- 54:12Speaker 5: And you're gonna make mistakes, you're gonna drop the ball.
- 54:14Speaker 5: But like at the end of the day, you need
- 54:16Speaker 5: to be like I drown in education.
- 54:18Speaker 6: That's all I do. Like I read for a living.
- 54:20Speaker 6: That's my job. I literally read and then I just leave.
- 54:24Speaker 6: That's it. It's all read and leave.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, did you notice across the journey this
- 54:33Speaker 1: was like a weird thing that I kind of discovered,
- 54:36Speaker 1: is like, yeah, your people that are rooting for you
- 54:40Speaker 1: while you're down, and then sometimes those same people aren't
- 54:43Speaker 1: rooting for you. But yeah, was that a weird encounter
- 54:47Speaker 1: for you?
- 54:47Speaker 6: Yeah, it was hard in the beginning, yure.
- 54:50Speaker 1: But like.
- 54:52Speaker 6: I'm still a nigga too, you know what I mean.
- 54:54Speaker 5: So when I say that, I mean, like, I know
- 54:57Speaker 5: what it feels like to be envious and just not understand,
- 55:00Speaker 5: be ignorant or something right. And so when people see you,
- 55:04Speaker 5: you know, go do these things or start you know,
- 55:07Speaker 5: acting different, start being different than becoming better, they literally
- 55:11Speaker 5: it makes them feel like they're less than every time
- 55:13Speaker 5: they look at you. It reminds them of way they
- 55:15Speaker 5: fuck up or way they fucked up in life. So
- 55:19Speaker 5: I just try to have compassion for people. But at
- 55:21Speaker 5: the end of the day, you can't keep them. But yeah,
- 55:23Speaker 5: that's ships weird, Like we didn't been hurt, like damn,
- 55:26Speaker 5: like we like we literally ain't got no friends.
- 55:30Speaker 6: Yeah, we got just family.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Is it a lot of fans you guys?
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yea, yeah, yeah we love.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you got fans out here.
- 55:47Speaker 5: I like you to be fans of the product though,
- 55:48Speaker 5: you know, like that's like my I like to be
- 55:51Speaker 5: known for the things we create, not us, and you know,
- 55:55Speaker 5: but sometimes our personality is getting away and people, you know,
- 55:59Speaker 5: they like it.
- 56:00Speaker 1: But I just yeah, I love you guys.
- 56:02Speaker 6: Yeah, Like I really like.
- 56:07Speaker 4: You ever heard the saying like people, especially in sales,
- 56:11Speaker 4: they always say that people by you before they.
- 56:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah that's true. That's that's that's exactly
- 56:16Speaker 5: my philosophy. Like my competitive advantage is me right if
- 56:20Speaker 5: you because everything's spiritual right, and so I don't even
- 56:24Speaker 5: mean to go to this deep we cookn't belonging, but
- 56:27Speaker 5: it's just real, Like I don't know what else to say,
- 56:29Speaker 5: but like it's really spiritually of it. So if you
- 56:32Speaker 5: bought something from me, you you you when you bite
- 56:35Speaker 5: into you, imagineing my energy. You know, my love that
- 56:39Speaker 5: went into it. All the people that's around me, they
- 56:42Speaker 5: love went into it. So it tastes different, and I'm
- 56:45Speaker 5: I'm a witness to that. I've eaten things from a
- 56:47Speaker 5: rual motherfucker and it was good. But that ship was
- 56:51Speaker 5: nasty as hell because it came from bad energy, you
- 56:54Speaker 5: know what I mean?
- 56:54Speaker 6: So that's real.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Do you eat Jamaican food?
- 56:57Speaker 6: I love Jamaican food. We stayed in Florida.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Have you ever been to a Jamaican restaurant where loving No, it's.
- 57:08Speaker 5: A Jamaican stuff. It's a Jamaican spot on st look
- 57:14Speaker 5: at your exactly.
- 57:16Speaker 3: That's good.
- 57:17Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I mean.
- 57:20Speaker 1: What I used to have a joke, Man, if they brutally,
- 57:23Speaker 1: you probably what you want? What you want.
- 57:29Speaker 2: If I went to.
- 57:31Speaker 5: If I went to a Bodegan, dude, it was a
- 57:33Speaker 5: little too nice, I probably walk out. You know, I
- 57:37Speaker 5: need a nigga rushing me like what you So it's
- 57:40Speaker 5: a cultural thing. When you come to New Orleans, you
- 57:41Speaker 5: expect you come to Spot.
- 57:45Speaker 6: It's really the same thing.
- 57:46Speaker 1: So I really really really really really like you. Oh
- 57:51Speaker 1: thank you, sound like you said it's just like an
- 57:55Speaker 1: up grading. Okay, So I don't know where we are.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Yeah, we're probably stressing out past, but I would like
- 58:06Speaker 4: to ask what two bits of advice would you like
- 58:10Speaker 4: to get someone that's trying to get into your position?
- 58:13Speaker 6: So what is my position?
- 58:15Speaker 1: What do you think successful owner to restaurants?
- 58:20Speaker 7: Right?
- 58:20Speaker 6: Okay, okay, we're talking tactical or were.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Talking, and I would like to say, in a successful marriage,
- 58:26Speaker 1: so you could do like two three.
- 58:28Speaker 5: What successful marriage is. Definitely, it's not defined by how
- 58:32Speaker 5: well it goes. It's about how long it lasts. So
- 58:36Speaker 5: you know, people giving relationship advice and they're single, that
- 58:40Speaker 5: don't make no sense. So for me, the only thing
- 58:43Speaker 5: that makes our relationship successful is because we've been we're
- 58:46Speaker 5: still together right, no matter what's going on, we're sticking
- 58:50Speaker 5: it out.
- 58:50Speaker 6: Were successful.
- 58:51Speaker 5: But we come from a family of my grandpa and grandfather,
- 58:54Speaker 5: I mean my grandpa and grandma.
- 58:56Speaker 6: Wants to get us sixty five years before he passed
- 58:58Speaker 6: her parents to get a thirty plus.
- 59:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so we don't even know the D word, you know,
- 59:03Speaker 5: we don't even know the divorce word. It's just like,
- 59:05Speaker 5: whatever we're going to do, let's talk about it. It's simple,
- 59:07Speaker 5: you know what I mean. As far as the business go,
- 59:13Speaker 5: it's so much man, you know, but I would say,
- 59:20Speaker 5: us as blacks, I'm gonna go there because white folks
- 59:23Speaker 5: gotta feed out us as blacks. We gotta focus on
- 59:27Speaker 5: just being free and not wealthy, because through freedom you
- 59:31Speaker 5: gain wealth. And what I mean is like if we
- 59:34Speaker 5: approach business like an artist does, Like artists don't want
- 59:38Speaker 5: to don't try to get rich, They try to get free,
- 59:39Speaker 5: so they could just create all day.
- 59:41Speaker 7: Right.
- 59:42Speaker 5: So if we just was like, all right, let's just
- 59:44Speaker 5: get our bills covered, right, and then we could focus
- 59:48Speaker 5: on actually creating wealth. But most people are trying to
- 59:51Speaker 5: build a wealth while they're still struggling. So let's just
- 59:56Speaker 5: get free, meaning bills covered. We got four five bands
- 59:59Speaker 5: coming then every month from this side hustle or this
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: main hustle whatever. And now because we relaxed, we you
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: know what I'm saying, Now we could sit and get
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: to the drawing board and really take shots and create wealth.
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: Let's go with this idea, all right? That don't really
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: go with this idea. It's like a record label master
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: p signed how many people?
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: So you need to have the capacity to take them
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: many shots, which is why I did a food truck
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: because it's like, we got unlimited shots. Who gonna kick
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: me out right if they do all this shit don't work.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: But we're gonna do Mexican, We're gonna do Italian, We're
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: gonna try something else because people eat.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: And I'm curious. In business, I know that there's a
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: lot of pivoting. When is when do you know when
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: to pivot?
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: I'm still young in business. I can't even answer that.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Man, I think we have pivoted.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: Okay, So I had a pivot the moment I knew
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: it was all right, So you really you gotta spend
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: time looking at your business and not working in it,
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: and it's easy, said, they've done.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: And so I knew it was time to pivot.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: When we kept doing those events and not making money,
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: I'm like, all right, damn, we making eleven bands, but
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: I lost all this because I had to travel, right,
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: and we did this event, made seven bands.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Don't got no money?
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: I said, all right, and then we can't staff against
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: this revenue because it's unpredictable, so I don't even know
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: how to staff against it. I can't retain employees because
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: who had want to come to the unpredictable hours and
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: unpredictable checks. So I said, all right, we're gonna go
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: to Atlanta. We're gonna kill two birds in one stone.
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: We're gonna become hot in the most popular black city
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: in the country. And by doing that, you get hot
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: in all the other black cities. So you get to
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: do the same work, but you get ten times the results.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: And I was like, we're gonna post up and treat
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: our food truck like a restaurant. We're gonna post up
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: in the hood specifically. And the reason why is because
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: that gave us predictable revenue. I don't care if it
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: was less than the events, as long as it's predictable,
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: because now I can hire and get out of it permanently.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: And then and then you could build a study cap
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: to right the.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: Cash flow, and which looks good to any bank or
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: and we car it only so I was.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: Gonna say, because I was wondering, you guys weren't pulling
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: out any bank loans as of yet, no none. So
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: this day I always find that very impressive because I
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: I I'm obsessed with entrepreneurship and I work with so
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: many alternative lenders that help entrepreneurs, and I on this
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: show in particular, I meet so many self funded businesses,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: which is fortunate, but I'm also like, damn, do you
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: know the levels you can do if you think you know,
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: like take advantage of it.
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: I think the first way to go is to be
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: self funded because the education I have. Now I take
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: money from anybody, yeah, because I know the level of
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: education I have and how I can multiply. But the
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: education I had then I wouldn't take no money because
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: you got to lose so much money just to figure
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: out how to make money that you don't even want
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: to play with nobody money.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Yeah, your losses. I think as an entrepreneur, failure is
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the cornerstone to success.
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: Like straight up is even killed. But it hurts of course,
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: you know. Like I was telling someone earlier, like the
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: suicide rate amongst entrepreneurs is actually pretty high.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: It's a stressful thing.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: You know, you're like battling yourself. Your have to hallucinate
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: to another level. You got to be crazy, mane if.
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: You if you're saying you ain't gonna make it. You
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: gotta be a little throwed off, bro. Some days you
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: it's like you've seen you like you in a tunnel.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: It ain't a dult tunnel. It's a brick wall. You
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: ain't no way out this month, and you still got.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: To be like, keep going.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Have you guys ever had a moment where one wanted
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to quit and one didn't.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: It's always I like, I like the hustle, I like
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: the ground emotional, but it's never long. It lasts a day.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: Then this motherfucker telling me I'm ready for another restaurant.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I'm like, goddamn.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: But it makes it makes you stronger, like you know,
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: and it's her strengths and my strengths are opposite.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I can see that. I can see that. I
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: love the way you guys. I'm just curious for you, though,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: What is the thing that will make you want to quit?
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: Like entrepreneurship or quick cafe Bourbon street ship? I mean,
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: I'm asking you.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I mean, I didn't know qu cafe wasn't was Was
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: there a moment with you?
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard.
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: This ship is really hard, and I think what it was, Uh,
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: A lot of the moments that took me to like, oh,
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: fuck this ship.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: It was just like it was really the people.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Honestly, it was like our employees, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: It was really dealing with them because before we got
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: employees for real, for we had managers and operational managers
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: and stuff like that.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: It was us, you know what I'm saying. So it
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: was a little.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: So now we got different personalities, different work work ethics and.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: All this stuff going on, and they fucking ship up
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: and I'm.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: Just like, what the fuck.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: The employees that are invested, You can't believe.
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: That you do that, you really did that.
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: It's like they do something and they messing something up
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: real bad, and then it just kind of snow snows
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: and it's like yo, fu, you.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: But and then, like you know, I think the biggest
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: part is your staff never know how hard you're actually working.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: For yeah, because it don't look like it don't look
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: like it we make it, we don't.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: They never see a sweat.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: They never see a sweat, which is actually an important
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: part of leadership, right of course, and also like not
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: being too friendly with them, right because you learned that
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: lesson where you become.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Learn.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: And I say this with the utmost genuine I'm just honest.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: Correct me if I'm wrong. But and man, I hope
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: they don't hang me on the internet for this, But
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: I'm just saying, bro, niggas expect more from you know,
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: you as a boss than they do from your white counterpart.
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: So for example, when you know, people go to work
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: for you know, quote unquote the white man, they only
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: expect a check, that's it. But when they come work
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: for a person that looks like them, they expect for
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: you to like give them a check and take you,
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: take you under their wing, take you in your house,
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: take you in all the meetings, use a spposed to
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: expose them. And so for me, I got a wife,
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: three kids now, so I don't even have the time
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: to you know, sit there and make you a part
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: of my whole entrepreneur life. And so but they put
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: the expectation on you, and like it's just like, man,
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: I can't just pay you a fair you know waves
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: it was like, nah, they want more.
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: It's because we understand.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I agree with that.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: I had an interview with a guest and he worked
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: for Tyler Perry come on, and he had messed up,
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: lost Tyler Perry millions of dollars and Tyler Perry ended
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: up firing him, and I promised you in the comments
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: it's been It's till this date fans are arguing amongst
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: themselves on whether Tyler Perry you should have taken the
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: time to mentor him, and they were like, yo, the
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: lesson was right there, But it was also like, why
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: is the expectation that, yo, you lost this dude millions
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: of dollars and he should turn around because you were
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: young and mentoring, you know, And it was that was
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: the guy's thing was like, why aren't you mentoring me?
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Like this is while I was young? But the truth
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: of the matter is, why is that expectation there? You
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: lost the white man or whatever millions of dollars? Be like,
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: why can't you mentor me?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: And like the rest like.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: The fact that you thought like that is the reason
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: is exactly.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: And then you know what's so funny?
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: After everything ended, there was some other conversation I had
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: and I say, yeah, man, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: But yeah, no, I can see that and I've seen that.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: But I appreciate your guys transparency the time to guys,
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: your day, Your sandwich was great conversation. What's the future
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: hole for you guys, guys, that's a good.
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: Question, honestly, like the future in the future. Yeah, so
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: we you know, we come from big families, they had
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: big gatherings. So now we want to just show that
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: talent more. We want to get a bigger location, bar,
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: you know, dak rease, you know, cafe vibes, to events,
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: you know what I mean. We want to showcase our
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: skill of bringing people together, you know, and building the
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: actual community through our business. That's really like my most
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: favorite part about owning the restaurant is the level of
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: community you build. The money is just like a byproduct,
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: but it's like, man, you meet so many powerful people.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: You get a chance to serve these people, you know,
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: and it's like it's a cheatkode.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: I tell anybody, if you really love the generally serve people,
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: open the restaurant. It ain't for the money though, It's
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: for the people you meet and the way you can
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: impact the community. And so now we at a parent
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: where running the restaurant this another day for us. You know,
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: we got systems, we got good people, We know how
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: to find good people. And so it's like, all right,
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: the next step is open a bigger restaurant and you know,
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: eventually have a thousand, you know, and it might be
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: different brands, but I want a thousand restaurants.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: Wow yeah yeah Wow.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Are you going to thinking franchise a.
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: Corporate franchise meaning we still own them all raising Oh.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I was going to say, like, yeah, chick fil a
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and in and out.
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: It's like that, right, yeah and out?
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: Yeah yeah yeah, so you grew a little slower, but
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: you get more money per unit because you know, it's
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: just more quality.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: I heard Chick fil A's model though, is like the
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: let employees enter a lottery and I think it's like
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: ten grand to buy in.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: Yeah, ten grand and you get all the profits.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: I knew some young people like twenty five like get
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: a like Hollywood in La Hollywood Highland was like twenty
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: five year old and won the lotto and got the
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Chick fil A Yeah yeah, snooth come.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: Up yeah yeah.
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: So you know that's how it goes man, And it's
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: really all about just being in the one big community through.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: Food and just good energy. I like that.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: So where can people keep up with cafe Bourbon Street.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: On the Gram.
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: You already know Cafe Bourbon Street c A F E
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: B O U R B O n ST. Not the
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: worst street, the abbreviation. You're a real New Orleans food
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: by real Normans.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Family, and you won't be catching these loney sandwich is nowhere, No.
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: Ad at the news spot.

- 1:11:06Speaker 3: But it'll come from me.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: You might look. You come get a bourbon and bologna.
