- 0:00Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day, and
- 0:04Speaker 1: Steve as always wisdom. You know, I was talking about
- 0:09Speaker 1: continuing what I was talking about last time, and I
- 0:11Speaker 1: remember one of the last points I was making was
- 0:15Speaker 1: stop allowing people who are in your space and in
- 0:21Speaker 1: your life and they are there to remind you of
- 0:25Speaker 1: who you used to be and what you used to do,
- 0:30Speaker 1: but they are there to do that to prohibit you
- 0:33Speaker 1: from moving forward. Like you made a statement of if
- 0:36Speaker 1: ever you make the statement, man, I'm gonna do better,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna start being this way. I'm gonna start accomplishing this.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna start doing it like this. Have you ever
- 0:44Speaker 1: noticed the A's always somebody, somebody who wants to tell
- 0:50Speaker 1: the story about what you used to do, who want
- 0:53Speaker 1: to bring up a mistake you made in your past
- 0:56Speaker 1: and want to hold you to it. I cannot tell
- 0:59Speaker 1: you how many stories are on the internet about something
- 1:03Speaker 1: I did in my past, something I was. This is
- 1:09Speaker 1: a true story. I was somewhere out of the country
- 1:12Speaker 1: and I ran up into somebody from Columbia. I was
- 1:17Speaker 1: on a golf course or something, and somehow the guy
- 1:20Speaker 1: said yeah, yeah, yeah, you the guy that messed over
- 1:23Speaker 1: my country. And he laughed about it, and I went,
- 1:25Speaker 1: excuse me, said, you're the guy that messed over my country.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I said, bro, what are you talking about. I'm from Columbia,
- 1:33Speaker 1: remember when you took the title from Miss Columbia. He
- 1:37Speaker 1: tried to laugh at all, but I could tell, you know,
- 1:39Speaker 1: he was saying it with a little bit of malice
- 1:41Speaker 1: in this heart. I said, hey, man, it's a mistake
- 1:43Speaker 1: I made. Okay, yeah, but it was probably the biggest
- 1:46Speaker 1: mistake of your career, wouldn't you say? I went no, no.
- 1:51Speaker 1: He said, wait a minute, So you're trying to tell
- 1:53Speaker 1: me that that fiasco that happened on television wasn't one
- 1:58Speaker 1: of the biggest mistakes of your career. I say, I'm
- 2:00Speaker 1: a man the life out in had it ain't in
- 2:03Speaker 1: the top twenty five the biggest mistakes I've made. And
- 2:10Speaker 1: so you know, I'm just saying that to say sometimes
- 2:13Speaker 1: there's always people around you trying to remind you of
- 2:17Speaker 1: something that happened to you. Listen to me, y'all cut
- 2:20Speaker 1: them people out your life. If you got a person
- 2:23Speaker 1: that's always trying to cut you down because of what
- 2:28Speaker 1: you did or mistake you made, or bringing up something
- 2:31Speaker 1: you did man. Cut them people out your life, cut
- 2:34Speaker 1: them people off your social media. Quit letting people have
- 2:39Speaker 1: access to you that don't deserve access. Your comment section
- 2:45Speaker 1: is open to the public. Why are you opening up
- 2:50Speaker 1: your comment section to the public and then putting weight
- 2:53Speaker 1: behind what somebody says about you that don't even know you.
- 2:57Speaker 1: They don't even know the story. They don't even know
- 3:02Speaker 1: do you know? Every now and then, man, I'll be
- 3:04Speaker 1: reading something and somebody go, you must have think about
- 3:06Speaker 1: we forgot that you went up to see Trump? Do
- 3:09Speaker 1: you know people still bringing that up? Man? Miss me,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't care what you bring up about that. You
- 3:16Speaker 1: don't even know the story. I don't let nobody hold
- 3:22Speaker 1: me to my past. You have got to understand that
- 3:27Speaker 1: God is in the forgiven business. God is in to
- 3:31Speaker 1: get your life together business. God is in to forget
- 3:35Speaker 1: it and move on. Do you know once God forgives
- 3:38Speaker 1: you for something, he never brings it up again. God
- 3:42Speaker 1: don't have a tally book of mistakes you've made that
- 3:44Speaker 1: he forgave you for. He don't he lets it go.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It's people, man, It's people. The devil got people that
- 3:53Speaker 1: work for him twenty four seven, and all their ambition
- 3:58Speaker 1: is to do is to help help you. Help the
- 4:01Speaker 1: devil rob you of your destiny. And the best way
- 4:04Speaker 1: to rob people of their destiny is people get stuck
- 4:07Speaker 1: with what they did and don't have the power to
- 4:10Speaker 1: move on. There are people in relationships that have failed
- 4:15Speaker 1: and can't move on to the next relationship because you
- 4:18Speaker 1: stuck in what happened with the last relationship. I need closure?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Why did he do me like that? Look, man, listen
- 4:24Speaker 1: to me. He gone, he gone, she gone. They left you.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's over. It's okay. You didn't die from it. You
- 4:36Speaker 1: actually can be better from it. But you have got
- 4:39Speaker 1: to look for the upside and everything. The reason that
- 4:43Speaker 1: relationship was over and ended is because it wasn't meant
- 4:47Speaker 1: to be. Hey man, I was talking to this young
- 4:50Speaker 1: guy and he was so distraught about his girlfriend breaking
- 4:55Speaker 1: up with him. He didn't know what to do, and
- 4:58Speaker 1: so he was talking to me about it. And it
- 5:00Speaker 1: was at the camp, a little young boy about seventeen
- 5:02Speaker 1: years old. He was just going through it. I said,
- 5:04Speaker 1: my man, my man, But she left me on mister Harvey.
- 5:08Speaker 1: She cheated on me with another guy. I said, hey, bro,
- 5:11Speaker 1: it was just your turn. That's all you was for. Her.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It was just your turn. That's all it is. It's
- 5:19Speaker 1: nothing else. It was your turn, he said. Whow miss Harvey,
- 5:24Speaker 1: How can you say that was just my turn? It
- 5:26Speaker 1: was your turn. She moved on to something else. It
- 5:29Speaker 1: was just your turn. You had your turn, you was winning.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Y'all had some fun, but it was just your turn.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Drink that man. Move on, ladies. If you out there
- 5:41Speaker 1: got some guy in your life that did you wrong
- 5:43Speaker 1: and you can't get past it, you better you better
- 5:47Speaker 1: get past it, because the clock is ticket. Life goes
- 5:50Speaker 1: on with him or without him. I don't know if
- 5:53Speaker 1: you noticed, but your rent is still due every month.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I don't know if you picked up on this or not,
- 5:57Speaker 1: but your children are still getting older. I don't know
- 6:00Speaker 1: if you picked up or not, but you still got
- 6:02Speaker 1: to go to work and earn a living. Now, the
- 6:04Speaker 1: fact that this man done left you and he got
- 6:07Speaker 1: you stuck. The moment you get unstuck, you might make
- 6:10Speaker 1: room for God to give you who you really need
- 6:12Speaker 1: to have in your life. But if you keep stuck
- 6:14Speaker 1: on what happened to you that you lost, you can't
- 6:18Speaker 1: ever get what the new gain is. Stop looking at
- 6:20Speaker 1: what you lost and look at the possibility of what
- 6:23Speaker 1: you can gain. It ain't the loss, it's the potential
- 6:26Speaker 1: of the game. Stop looking at that man. Stop letting
- 6:30Speaker 1: people hold you to your past. God has forgiven you.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Get up and move on. It's okay. Everybody makes mistakes,
- 6:40Speaker 1: all right, y'all, have a good one today. Talk to
- 6:42Speaker 1: God today, y'all. He'd absolutely love to hear from you.
