- 2:39Speaker 4: All right, guys, welcome back eyl this Atlanta edition Marathon
- 2:44Speaker 4: Atlanta on a whole tour.
- 2:47Speaker 6: That's a fact. That's a fact. Heavy and a man.
- 2:50Speaker 4: This is a highly anticipated It's one of those episodes
- 2:52Speaker 4: that has been building momentum for a while, but nothing
- 2:56Speaker 4: happens before it's supposed to happen.
- 2:57Speaker 6: So it's happening at the right time, man, CEO, Matty j.
- 3:01Speaker 4: If you've been, if you've been on Clubhouse, we borrowed him,
- 3:07Speaker 4: you probably got Clubhouse going on his phone right now.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Somebody's doing his Clubhouse somewhere.
- 3:10Speaker 6: It's showing that, it's showing that he's still active on their.
- 3:15Speaker 2: House as possible.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Ya, this dude Clubhouse Champion.
- 3:19Speaker 4: But even before that, man, he's actually I didn't you
- 3:22Speaker 4: know what it's like.
- 3:23Speaker 6: I didn't.
- 3:24Speaker 4: I heard about him for a while and I saw
- 3:26Speaker 4: on social media, but I had never tapped in with it.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I never spoke to him, and the first time I
- 3:30Speaker 4: really started to engage with him was on Clubhouse a
- 3:32Speaker 4: few weeks ago and I realized, like, yo, he actually
- 3:35Speaker 4: is a really really smart dude, Like actually I hit
- 3:38Speaker 4: him one time off clubhouse, Like, yo, bro, I need
- 3:40Speaker 4: to play for this, Like Yo, he's he's he's a
- 3:44Speaker 4: very very smart guy man. And he does a variety
- 3:49Speaker 4: of different things. But I think one of he's probably
- 3:53Speaker 4: known for the most is the car business. Yeah, really
- 3:57Speaker 4: really like to row on steroids like everything, like you
- 4:01Speaker 4: know what I'm saying as far as how to actually
- 4:03Speaker 4: monetize the car game and how to you know, have
- 4:06Speaker 4: your own pretty much car rental business, and how to
- 4:09Speaker 4: make money from vehicles and things of that nature, and
- 4:13Speaker 4: it's just so many different hacks and tricks and it's
- 4:15Speaker 4: it's really outrageous.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Kind of this is this is one of the episodes.
- 4:20Speaker 3: He has forty forty eight cars, Yes, sir, So last
- 4:24Speaker 3: time I heard that was maybe Mike Tyson a baby
- 4:27Speaker 3: maybe had like fifty was to catch money early days.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but I got fit the call man.
- 4:31Speaker 4: But it's done a little bit differently than act. So
- 4:35Speaker 4: we will talk about that. But first and foremost, Maddie J,
- 4:39Speaker 4: thank you for joining us.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Appreciate it.
- 4:40Speaker 7: Blessings, blessings, blessed to give all thanks and praise the
- 4:43Speaker 7: guy lo he for for this situation to come to fruition.
- 4:47Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:48Speaker 6: I'm ready to share my experience and crate of impact.
- 4:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Let's do it man. So all right, before we get
- 4:54Speaker 4: into the meat and potatoes of it, how did you
- 4:56Speaker 4: become the car king of it?
- 5:02Speaker 6: How did this?
- 5:03Speaker 4: You're an interesting guy that you used to throw parties.
- 5:05Speaker 4: You got a whole lot of different background stories. How
- 5:07Speaker 4: did you get to this point?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Now?
- 5:10Speaker 7: First off, I have forty eight cars now, but it
- 5:13Speaker 7: always started off with one, so I think it's very
- 5:15Speaker 7: important to establish that. But it was organically because, as
- 5:20Speaker 7: you guys know, the Touro platform allows you to just
- 5:22Speaker 7: upload the picture of your car, price it, and then
- 5:26Speaker 7: people that's in the market looking for rental they can
- 5:28Speaker 7: pay whatever price you listed for to get the keys.
- 5:31Speaker 7: So I actually had an underutilized car, my Tesla Models
- 5:34Speaker 7: I lived in. I live in lad Station and I
- 5:37Speaker 7: barely got a chance to drive my car. So everywhere
- 5:40Speaker 7: Captain one gave me my loan. My loan monthly note
- 5:45Speaker 7: was like nine hundred dollars a month. I'm paying nine
- 5:46Speaker 7: hundred dollars a month for a car that I'm barely driving.
- 5:49Speaker 7: So I have to ask myself, okay, I can keep
- 5:52Speaker 7: paying this nine hundred dollars for no reason, or I
- 5:54Speaker 7: could figure out a way to turn this liability on
- 5:56Speaker 7: wheels into asset making deals. So my boy said, there's
- 6:00Speaker 7: a platform called relay Rides. So at the time, it's
- 6:02Speaker 7: called relay Rise. So shout out to Jacobe for putting
- 6:04Speaker 7: me onto that one. So I did my research, listened
- 6:08Speaker 7: to my car. Same day it got books for one
- 6:10Speaker 7: hundred and fifty dollars.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Relay Rise. Yeah, it's called two ro now, okay, prior
- 6:15Speaker 6: it was called relay Rise.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 7: So I actually saw the example from him first is
- 6:21Speaker 7: he had a car that he had on there and
- 6:23Speaker 7: he would run downstairs. He'll be at my spot, my condo,
- 6:25Speaker 7: He'll run downstairs. He said, I got to get my
- 6:27Speaker 7: keys to somebody. I was like, why you gotta get
- 6:29Speaker 7: a keys to somebody? I got a runner, Like you
- 6:30Speaker 7: got a runner?
- 6:31Speaker 6: What you mean you got a runner?
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:32Speaker 7: This website called relay Rides, and I got somebody renting
- 6:35Speaker 7: my car for the day.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Blew my mind.
- 6:37Speaker 7: But I never tapped into it because I never needed
- 6:38Speaker 7: to use it until I keep the Sabbath day on Saturdays.
- 6:42Speaker 7: I don't work on Saturday. So my car said, okay,
- 6:44Speaker 7: I can rent my cars on Saturday. Allow the renners
- 6:47Speaker 7: to pay my car.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Note.
- 6:49Speaker 7: I ended up making two hundred and two way twenty
- 6:52Speaker 7: six hundred dollars that month profit renting out my car
- 6:56Speaker 7: on that specific platform called Turo Crucial.
- 6:59Speaker 6: So that was that was the beginning, That was theirs.
- 7:02Speaker 6: What what I'm saying, yeah, what yeah? Was that. This
- 7:05Speaker 6: was twenty seventeen going to eighteen. So when did Toro
- 7:09Speaker 6: become Toro? That's a good question. I want to say.
- 7:12Speaker 6: I probably squeauld look it up.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Probably twenty thirteen, you know what I'm saying. But the
- 7:16Speaker 7: actual name change, Yeah, like the name change. I got
- 7:19Speaker 7: on when it was already changed. I didn't know it
- 7:20Speaker 7: was the same company at first, so I looked. I'm like, oh,
- 7:23Speaker 7: this was relay Rise, so probably was around sixteen fifteen
- 7:28Speaker 7: sixteen maybe.
- 7:29Speaker 2: So this is like the Airbnb for cars at the
- 7:31Speaker 2: tixactly what it is.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, because let's just back of a little further because
- 7:34Speaker 4: people might every I don't think Toro's even legal in
- 7:37Speaker 4: New York, is it?
- 7:37Speaker 2: I don't think laughing because we can't do it. We
- 7:42Speaker 2: can't run.
- 7:43Speaker 6: It's one of those things where some people still might
- 7:45Speaker 6: not even know what Toro is. In fact, what exactly
- 7:48Speaker 6: is Toro?
- 7:49Speaker 7: Like King said, Troy, you said that on a hit
- 7:51Speaker 7: it on nail. It's the Airbnb for cars. Put your
- 7:55Speaker 7: car on there, whether it's your car, your homies car,
- 7:57Speaker 7: your sister's car, you get throw it on there and
- 7:59Speaker 7: run it out to these people on this peer to
- 8:00Speaker 7: peer platform.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Crucial and that ain't crucial.
- 8:03Speaker 4: It's one of these things that's extremely like for me
- 8:06Speaker 4: because I live in New York, I'm gonna move to LA.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Everybody's trying to convince me not to move to LA.
- 8:11Speaker 4: But I'm still I'm still have a place in New York.
- 8:15Speaker 4: So in my brain, I'm like, you need a car
- 8:18Speaker 4: in LA. Sure, I already have a car in New York.
- 8:21Speaker 4: So I can have a car in LA, have a
- 8:25Speaker 4: car in New York, put the cars on Toro when
- 8:28Speaker 4: I'm not in each place, and then actually make more money.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I'm not even paying for the car at that point,
- 8:33Speaker 4: I'm actually making money from the car. And now it's
- 8:36Speaker 4: becomes like an Airbnb situation.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But we're gonna need New York to change some rules.
- 8:40Speaker 6: Yeah, we don't need to change some rules, assuming that.
- 8:42Speaker 7: New York run New Jersey. I know from when I
- 8:44Speaker 7: heard in New Jersey like thirty minutes away.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Yeah, we're close. We're close.
- 8:48Speaker 7: It's yes, that same play. It's crucial because the producer
- 8:51Speaker 7: Michael Brian Cox.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Yeah, we just ran into him yesterday. Shout out to him.
- 8:56Speaker 6: R and B only shotut to Alex. Yeah. Through clubhouse.
- 9:01Speaker 6: He found out I was the two ro plug.
- 9:03Speaker 7: He reached out to him, pulled up to pulled up
- 9:04Speaker 7: on me in my office and he said, Yo, man,
- 9:06Speaker 7: when I come into Atlanta, I got my spot in
- 9:09Speaker 7: LA I don't need a rent a car, run out
- 9:11Speaker 7: somebody else's car. I can buy a car, rent it out,
- 9:14Speaker 7: and when I'm in the city, I get my car
- 9:16Speaker 7: and it's paying for itself.
- 9:18Speaker 6: So I said, yeah, that's definitely a play.
- 9:19Speaker 7: So we basically talked about how he can do it,
- 9:22Speaker 7: what car, to get word about the car, all those
- 9:23Speaker 7: good stuff, so he.
- 9:24Speaker 6: Can be able to have an asset in Atlanta when he's.
- 9:26Speaker 2: At in LA.
- 9:27Speaker 3: So is it similar in a way like an Aaron
- 9:30Speaker 3: BnB when you rent out your place like you're a
- 9:32Speaker 3: host and you get ratings and all that same thing.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Super Host, All Star Review, same exact.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Place, depending on the car.
- 9:38Speaker 3: So if I got a if I got a Lamborghini, right,
- 9:41Speaker 3: does that automatically put me in a different tier than
- 9:43Speaker 3: somebody has a camera?
- 9:44Speaker 6: You know, they got the deluxe edition.
- 9:46Speaker 7: So if you put up a car that's usually like
- 9:49Speaker 7: ninety thousand and above, they have like a deluxe edition
- 9:53Speaker 7: and they have different insurance packages for those because they
- 9:55Speaker 7: got to protect protect that asset for not just for
- 9:58Speaker 7: the host, but also for Touro to make sure that
- 10:00Speaker 7: just some random twenty year old can just book a
- 10:03Speaker 7: car for two hundred dollars a day without the proper insurance.
- 10:07Speaker 4: It's crazy too because it's also I'm learning so much
- 10:10Speaker 4: from the different people that we interview and shout out
- 10:12Speaker 4: the credit.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Dude, he told us about lease.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Swap swap LEAs swap lease. That's like, dude, he's out
- 10:25Speaker 4: of Jersey, he's with dj MV, but he told us
- 10:28Speaker 4: about swap lease and correct me if I'm wrong. That's
- 10:31Speaker 4: a situation where you can actually take over somebody's lease,
- 10:35Speaker 4: Like if somebody's down on their luck. They brought a
- 10:37Speaker 4: lamb ricky, and it's like the recession hit and they
- 10:41Speaker 4: had of work and now they got to get it off.
- 10:43Speaker 4: You can take over somebody's lease, no no down payment,
- 10:46Speaker 4: and you can probably get a way better deal because
- 10:49Speaker 4: they scrambling. It's like a it's like a distressed seller
- 10:52Speaker 4: of a property, exactly same thing in real estate. And
- 10:55Speaker 4: then you can put that on to yep.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Right, you don't need to drive it. Okay, you can't
- 11:02Speaker 6: make your paper. It's cool. I'm gonna tell you somebody
- 11:04Speaker 6: else to make he make some money in between. So
- 11:11Speaker 6: with the toy, do you do you have to own
- 11:12Speaker 6: the car? Can you lease the car?
- 11:14Speaker 7: Or if you have, if you have the right to
- 11:17Speaker 7: have that keys to that vehicle. I'm not saying go
- 11:19Speaker 7: to enterprise. I'm saying that, say you own it or
- 11:24Speaker 7: at least it, yeah, or finance whatever case may be.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Right, most people financing. So I can just give an example.
- 11:30Speaker 7: So if my brother goes to he's an active duty
- 11:33Speaker 7: and he goes to Germany or South Korea to do
- 11:36Speaker 7: his active duty, his car's just sitting at home doing
- 11:39Speaker 7: nothing right now, So I can do a deal with
- 11:42Speaker 7: my brother to say, yo, in start your car. Just
- 11:44Speaker 7: sitting here doing nothing. Let's do a repshair deal fifty
- 11:46Speaker 7: to fifty eighty twenty, whatever case may be. So I
- 11:48Speaker 7: can manage your car for you and have it rented out,
- 11:50Speaker 7: so you can not only make money, but your car
- 11:52Speaker 7: ain't just sitting here collecting dust.
- 11:54Speaker 6: So those are the opportunities that come from those situations.
- 11:56Speaker 3: And you say, depending upon the age or the experience
- 11:59Speaker 3: of the driver, the insurance changes.
- 12:01Speaker 2: So what's what's the type of premium?
- 12:02Speaker 6: So yeah, so touro specific that platform.
- 12:04Speaker 7: I'm in the car renal space, so I don't just
- 12:06Speaker 7: leverage this tour, I use get higher higher car personal bookings.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Like just there's a bunch of different webs so many platforms,
- 12:14Speaker 6: so many fetch truck.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Like if you got trucks and you want to rent
- 12:17Speaker 7: out your trucks, the little drivers who don't have their car,
- 12:19Speaker 7: their cars down for.
- 12:20Speaker 6: It, you can rent them on that kind of trucks.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Pickup trucks, pickup truck.
- 12:24Speaker 7: Yeah, pickup trucks, commercial trucks, box trucks.
- 12:28Speaker 6: Yeah, things of that nature.
- 12:30Speaker 7: But yeah, so as far as the opportunities that exist,
- 12:32Speaker 7: my job, as somebody who's in this space is to
- 12:34Speaker 7: present all the opportunities and if it fits your circumstances,
- 12:38Speaker 7: you have a way to make some.
- 12:39Speaker 6: Income and turn that liability into an asset. So let
- 12:43Speaker 6: me ask you this.
- 12:44Speaker 4: You said, how they never missed even how to never
- 12:48Speaker 4: miss a car payment even again, even if you lose
- 12:50Speaker 4: your job? Yeah, yeah, all right, I'm sure a lot
- 12:53Speaker 4: of people are interesting.
- 12:54Speaker 6: How yeah, how to never miss a payment even if
- 12:56Speaker 6: you lose a job.
- 12:57Speaker 7: Because that's the biggest thing. Because a lot of people
- 12:59Speaker 7: get these cars. They have a fixed income. So if
- 13:02Speaker 7: they lose their job, there wasn no, there's no wigger room,
- 13:05Speaker 7: especially if you live in to paycheck. So what ends
- 13:08Speaker 7: up happening is this The first thing they look at
- 13:11Speaker 7: is dang, I got my my mortgage, on my rent,
- 13:16Speaker 7: on my car. Noal, those are the three biggest suspense
- 13:18Speaker 7: or two biggest dispenses that they're looking at if they're
- 13:20Speaker 7: not driving a car like right now the pandemic most
- 13:22Speaker 7: people are working from home. Now, now your car is
- 13:23Speaker 7: definitely being under you lost. You're not driving your car
- 13:26Speaker 7: like you used to. So you got a couple options
- 13:28Speaker 7: of dang, do I let my long gone default and
- 13:31Speaker 7: they just rebolt my car? Or now can you tap
- 13:34Speaker 7: into this opportunity. Just have your car renting out to
- 13:36Speaker 7: somebody who actually is going to use their car. For example,
- 13:39Speaker 7: during the pandemic, you know what business skyrocketed. Grocery delivery, overeats, hub,
- 13:46Speaker 7: gub Hub, Postmates, all these things skyrocketed. And the people
- 13:50Speaker 7: who didn't have cars to tap into that hustle can
- 13:52Speaker 7: now rent a car from you to be able to
- 13:54Speaker 7: tap in that hustle.
- 13:55Speaker 6: So I'm even teaching my.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Students that, Look, if you get a Hondai Sonata, go
- 13:59Speaker 7: far Fin asked one your car notes fault three hundred
- 14:02Speaker 7: dollars a month, you could find somebody on the platform
- 14:04Speaker 7: called a higher car to pay you three hundred dollars
- 14:07Speaker 7: a week to use your car for their business on
- 14:10Speaker 7: Postmas and gethub and grab hub and thinks like that
- 14:14Speaker 7: nature crucial play. Even if your friend your cousin doesn't
- 14:17Speaker 7: have a job, you can propose to them, Hey, if
- 14:19Speaker 7: you don't have a job right now, you can do
- 14:21Speaker 7: delivery for Postmas.
- 14:23Speaker 6: They'll say, well, I don't have a car, don't worry
- 14:24Speaker 6: about that. I'll rent you a car.
- 14:26Speaker 7: Right In a situation like that, And even if it's
- 14:28Speaker 7: not your car, you can find somebody else's car to
- 14:30Speaker 7: be able to rent as long as they know in
- 14:32Speaker 7: the in the agreements there.
- 14:34Speaker 2: So you said you got forty eight cars. Yeah, but
- 14:36Speaker 2: I know the legendary stories.
- 14:37Speaker 3: You had thirty three in two weeks weeks. I probably
- 14:42Speaker 3: had five in my entire life. How does this happen?
- 14:46Speaker 6: It was It was a transition process.
- 14:49Speaker 7: So of course it started off with one my Tesla
- 14:51Speaker 7: model as the numbers were amazing. Like I said, I
- 14:54Speaker 7: made twenty six hundred dollars profit off of one car.
- 14:57Speaker 7: I said, okay, as a hustler, you know, making this
- 15:01Speaker 7: much money for one car, I just need a double up,
- 15:03Speaker 7: triple up. So I went from one to three my Maserati.
- 15:07Speaker 7: I went to gravity Audos in Atlanta, Georgia. I got
- 15:11Speaker 7: a Maserati Ghibli. This is a thirty thousand dollars car.
- 15:15Speaker 7: It was MSRP eighty thousand.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I'm thinking, like, yo, Masarai, I know that car. Craze
- 15:20Speaker 3: thirty is like damaged.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Get another depreciation on Mazarat. People don't know this, people
- 15:27Speaker 7: don't know this at all, brand new. This car is
- 15:30Speaker 7: eighty thousand dollars. Two years later, just two years, just
- 15:34Speaker 7: throw ten thousand miles seventeen thousand dollars, it drops all
- 15:37Speaker 7: the way down to thirty thousand. The depreciation on this
- 15:40Speaker 7: car is crazy crazy. That's a good look for me
- 15:43Speaker 7: because people still precede this cars Maserati. They're gonna pay
- 15:47Speaker 7: anywhere from one hundred to four hundred dollars a day
- 15:50Speaker 7: for this car right a day.
- 15:52Speaker 6: The car no.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Was probably only five hundred hundred dollars from Masarati. Once
- 15:56Speaker 7: I found that out, also, okay, that's gonna be the
- 15:58Speaker 7: one of the top performers. So I made sure I
- 16:00Speaker 7: had a Maserati and I made sure I had a
- 16:02Speaker 7: MERCEDESI three hundred.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Those two cars really did well.
- 16:05Speaker 7: But the issue was I end up doing a personal
- 16:07Speaker 7: booking in my Maserati and ended up getting totaled out
- 16:11Speaker 7: the insurance.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Luckily, my car's protected.
- 16:13Speaker 7: When I do personal bookings, I make sure that they
- 16:16Speaker 7: have insurance so if they do anything else it doesn't
- 16:18Speaker 7: hit my insurance. I don't worry about it. They paid
- 16:21Speaker 7: it out. They paid me out. But now I have
- 16:23Speaker 7: a paid off car on my credit history, paid off car.
- 16:28Speaker 7: It was a good situation. All I gotta do is
- 16:30Speaker 7: now I just get another car. So that's why I
- 16:31Speaker 7: did I end up getting a Corvette instead, though got
- 16:34Speaker 7: my Corvette. Long story short, everybody knows the story. Corvette
- 16:37Speaker 7: got stolen, Corvette got stolen.
- 16:40Speaker 6: Now back to one.
- 16:41Speaker 7: But now, since I bought so many cars, I know
- 16:44Speaker 7: the process of buying cars now dealerships and the process
- 16:48Speaker 7: of showing them your credit. I realized that when you
- 16:51Speaker 7: go into these dealerships, right, people know this now that
- 16:54Speaker 7: they pull your credit report and then they send your
- 16:57Speaker 7: credit report to all their different lenders, all of them,
- 17:00Speaker 7: so Bank America, Chase, Wells, Fargo, be it, all of
- 17:03Speaker 7: them get the same report. So I realized, if they're
- 17:06Speaker 7: sending my report to all these different lenders, all I
- 17:09Speaker 7: have to do is go from Ford, get a car
- 17:11Speaker 7: from Ford. So I'll tell Ford finance manager a salesperson,
- 17:15Speaker 7: please don't send my credit report to all these different lenders.
- 17:18Speaker 7: Just send it to Ford, right, and then Ford we'll
- 17:20Speaker 7: see how amazing my credit score is, my credit report is,
- 17:23Speaker 7: and say, oh, how many cars you want, two, three, four,
- 17:25Speaker 7: whatever I want because my credits for when.
- 17:27Speaker 3: You're walking in the dealership, you're like, I'm trying to
- 17:29Speaker 3: get four cars. Yeah, that's different.
- 17:32Speaker 7: I know what coming is it's not a liability no more,
- 17:34Speaker 7: it's an asset. So the more assets I can have,
- 17:36Speaker 7: the more income I can bring in. The cash flow
- 17:38Speaker 7: you bring in like a team with you because that's me.
- 17:40Speaker 7: So so how you getting four cars off?
- 17:42Speaker 6: Then?
- 17:42Speaker 7: So I tell them I'm transferrent with the with the salesperson. Look,
- 17:45Speaker 7: I rent cars and I need this play to be
- 17:48Speaker 7: done correctly. When I give you this report, please please,
- 17:52Speaker 7: cause their job at the end of they is to
- 17:53Speaker 7: sell a car.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Typically they have to shotgun the terminology.
- 17:57Speaker 7: Shotgun shotgun your credit app to all these banks because
- 18:01Speaker 7: they want to make sure that you either get the
- 18:02Speaker 7: right interest rate or just in case it gets denied
- 18:05Speaker 7: from here, you'll get approved over here.
- 18:07Speaker 6: But I was getting improved by everybody.
- 18:09Speaker 7: So instead of trying to have my credits report since
- 18:12Speaker 7: to everybody, send it one cool get my cars. I
- 18:15Speaker 7: go across the street, because you know there's there's car
- 18:17Speaker 7: dealership strips. Go across the street. Do the same thing.
- 18:20Speaker 7: To Mercedes. Mercedes will run it. What car you want?
- 18:23Speaker 7: Get the car I want. I go to Chevy get
- 18:26Speaker 7: my Corvette. I go to Maserati, get my Maserati. I
- 18:29Speaker 7: go to all these dealerships and just run the same
- 18:30Speaker 7: play over and over.
- 18:32Speaker 6: That's how I got thirty three cars. So you had
- 18:34Speaker 6: thirty three cars in one week, you finance leased them.
- 18:38Speaker 7: Have finance. I leveraged my credit. Somebody will say, why
- 18:41Speaker 7: would you over leverage it. I had a business structure.
- 18:44Speaker 7: I'm really big on documentary processing, create structures and SOPs.
- 18:48Speaker 7: So based on the three cars I was managing, I
- 18:50Speaker 7: knew how to scale it, right, So I leverage my
- 18:54Speaker 7: credit to be able to do so.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Our credit was good enough to not have a down payment.
- 18:57Speaker 7: I didn't need down payment, so I just get in
- 18:59Speaker 7: these pick up these cars, right, So I was just
- 19:01Speaker 7: picking up these cars. There's actually one car I had
- 19:03Speaker 7: to put down payment on, but that was a little
- 19:04Speaker 7: bit different situation. I had to put fifteen thousand dollars
- 19:07Speaker 7: down on my Porsche Porsche Panamerica. But for the most part,
- 19:11Speaker 7: no money down on none of the cars, none of
- 19:13Speaker 7: these cars.
- 19:14Speaker 2: What kind of credit you gotta have to do that?
- 19:16Speaker 7: I actually had a seven twenty three, but I had
- 19:18Speaker 7: a strong seven twenty two three strongly right.
- 19:22Speaker 6: And to be honest, you don't even have to have nothing.
- 19:23Speaker 7: It's nothing too crazy as long as you get in
- 19:25Speaker 7: the car that it fits the criteria, what the banks
- 19:28Speaker 7: were willing to give you.
- 19:30Speaker 4: So did you still had the there was no money,
- 19:33Speaker 4: like not even closing like the type.
- 19:35Speaker 6: Was it like that gets rolled into the the payment?
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:39Speaker 6: So long? So how much was all your like your
- 19:41Speaker 6: total payment?
- 19:41Speaker 7: I don't think nobody ever asked this question. One point
- 19:44Speaker 7: six million, thirty three cars cars. I think it was
- 19:48Speaker 7: a little bit more than thirty three cars. Ended up
- 19:49Speaker 7: getting the more cars a little bit later, but one
- 19:51Speaker 7: point six million.
- 19:52Speaker 6: I looked at my one point six million, I added
- 19:54Speaker 6: it up that roll, I'm like, got a year a year, no, no, no,
- 19:57Speaker 6: that's how much a total?
- 19:58Speaker 7: No no, no no. But my monthly car notes total
- 20:01Speaker 7: was like around thirty to forty thousand. But the total
- 20:04Speaker 7: mount money I got loaned. So your payment, your payments
- 20:10Speaker 7: monthly was forty thousand dollars around anywhere from thirty to
- 20:12Speaker 7: forty Where you house in the cars, that's not bad
- 20:14Speaker 7: asking question, that's not bad. So what I was doing
- 20:17Speaker 7: with at first because when I have three cars, it
- 20:19Speaker 7: was cool because I have my garage, I get two spaces.
- 20:22Speaker 2: It was straight.
- 20:23Speaker 7: I had my third one in another space. But now
- 20:25Speaker 7: to figure out I want to put all these cars.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I'll find apartment with a lot.
- 20:32Speaker 7: So because I'm in Airbnb, I have a bunch of copdos.
- 20:35Speaker 7: So I try to leverage the cons space. Tell me
- 20:37Speaker 7: why they sent me. Never talking about mister Maddi, You're
- 20:40Speaker 7: gonna have to.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Move all these cars with you know, than yours, I
- 20:43Speaker 6: mean airbnbss you have. I have eight, so you try
- 20:46Speaker 6: to eight. I have seven. Now, so you try to
- 20:48Speaker 6: park thirty three cars and eight I try.
- 20:49Speaker 8: No.
- 20:49Speaker 6: I try to park it at one location, all like
- 20:52Speaker 6: one and like I have a picture of the building. Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 6: I had all my cars lined up so where people
- 20:57Speaker 6: like the residents will drive it. They're like, what the
- 20:58Speaker 6: heck is going on here? All these luxury cars, corvettes
- 21:01Speaker 6: is going on.
- 21:02Speaker 7: It was pretty crazy, but I have to move it.
- 21:04Speaker 7: But luckily somebody called me. My boy called me and said, yo,
- 21:06Speaker 7: mad I got it. I know there's a lot by
- 21:08Speaker 7: the airport, right next to the Hartsville Jackson Atlanta Airport.
- 21:12Speaker 6: There's a lot.
- 21:13Speaker 7: You can go ahead and talk to the owner and
- 21:14Speaker 7: see if you can leave space. By guy's grace, I
- 21:16Speaker 7: was able to close that deal. Now I got my
- 21:18Speaker 7: own car lot.
- 21:20Speaker 6: How much did you pay for the car?
- 21:21Speaker 2: Lot?
- 21:21Speaker 6: Thirty two hundred a month.
- 21:22Speaker 7: It's my note, thirty two hundred dollars a month. Yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 7: forty spaces, forty spaces in the back. I think ten
- 21:28Speaker 7: spaces in the front. I'm able to run it just
- 21:31Speaker 7: like an enterprise. Hurt Actually, I'm right next to the enterprise.
- 21:33Speaker 6: It hurts. Hurts is right here, enterprises right here, and
- 21:35Speaker 6: I'm over here. Patty J's over there. So all right,
- 21:40Speaker 6: so you you got forty You got forty thousand dollars
- 21:43Speaker 6: a month that you gotta pay, but you don't have
- 21:46Speaker 6: to pay your first car note toutch part first thirty.
- 21:49Speaker 6: I forgot my brain. That's what I'm thinking. It gives
- 21:52Speaker 6: you like a profit.
- 21:53Speaker 7: It's actually some cars is thirty days, some notes forty
- 21:56Speaker 7: five days. So I get to run up the bag
- 21:58Speaker 7: for a whole thirty to forty five dollars.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Before you made your first car payments. How much money
- 22:02Speaker 4: did you run up in that thirty day time?
- 22:04Speaker 7: I want to say, I think it was nothing crazy
- 22:06Speaker 7: like twenty twenty two thousand.
- 22:08Speaker 6: I took some screenshots, some of them.
- 22:10Speaker 7: Was harder to like onboard and make sure that I
- 22:12Speaker 7: can start running out immediately, some of them the same
- 22:15Speaker 7: day as soon as I got it put on to
- 22:16Speaker 7: row because it's still gotta take pictures and all that.
- 22:18Speaker 6: I still got it and it was just me and.
- 22:19Speaker 7: My wife that time, so you have to take your pictures,
- 22:22Speaker 7: you got to upload it, and I didn't feel like
- 22:24Speaker 7: mentally dealing with that. When you deal with these dealerships,
- 22:26Speaker 7: they already took all your mental energy, your whole body, right.
- 22:30Speaker 7: But I also teach students how to deal with the
- 22:32Speaker 7: dealerships too, to make sure they don't get finessed in
- 22:34Speaker 7: these streets.
- 22:35Speaker 3: So is there a difference between buying a new car
- 22:38Speaker 3: and a used car?
- 22:39Speaker 7: Yeah, definitely, mainly the pricing, but dealerships they really want
- 22:44Speaker 7: to offset their new cars right to maintain their relationships
- 22:47Speaker 7: with these manufacturers and a little bit more profit margin
- 22:50Speaker 7: when it was to the prices. So as we know,
- 22:53Speaker 7: people know, as soon as you drive off for a
- 22:55Speaker 7: new car off the lot, you hit with two thousand
- 22:58Speaker 7: to four thousand dollars in depreciation. Everybody knows this, but
- 23:01Speaker 7: nobody really knows why because most of the money was
- 23:05Speaker 7: that you're losing isn't for the value of the cars,
- 23:07Speaker 7: for the marketing they have to recruit their costs on
- 23:10Speaker 7: these dealerships, market and brand and set and pay their
- 23:13Speaker 7: commissions to the salespeople.
- 23:15Speaker 6: That money has nothing to do with their cars.
- 23:17Speaker 7: As soon as you drive off the lot, that's already
- 23:19Speaker 7: the hit you gotta take because they got to get
- 23:20Speaker 7: their profit margin off of that. So people don't know
- 23:22Speaker 7: that that has nothing to do with anything else outside
- 23:25Speaker 7: of that. But here's the thing. That's why we're not
- 23:28Speaker 7: supposed to be buying new cars at all. It's not
- 23:30Speaker 7: good idea. Unless you got the money, you don't really
- 23:32Speaker 7: care about that three four thousand dollars depreciation hit. It's
- 23:35Speaker 7: always suggested by me and my team to always get
- 23:37Speaker 7: these cars used, like my twenty seventeen Maserati that we
- 23:41Speaker 7: got for thirty two thousand. If we bought that car
- 23:43Speaker 7: brown new, we will pay extra forty thousand dollars for it,
- 23:46Speaker 7: same car, right, and that will mess up the profit
- 23:49Speaker 7: margins when it comes to running it out.
- 23:50Speaker 6: So the first month you say you made like twenty thousand.
- 23:53Speaker 7: Yeah, but you start have been up to up to forty.
- 23:57Speaker 7: I don't know the exact number though. What was what
- 23:58Speaker 7: did you peek at with that fleet? Yeah? I was
- 24:01Speaker 7: getting more cars, and I was getting more cars. So
- 24:04Speaker 7: the numbers starts fluctuating, but anywhere from twenty thousand and
- 24:07Speaker 7: sixty thousand per month, right, and then of course that's gross. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 7: of course we got to talk about net when it
- 24:14Speaker 7: comes to expenses. I had to hire a team at
- 24:16Speaker 7: seven employees have my car lot. Now, things a little
- 24:19Speaker 7: bit different as far as expenses of management and operating cars.
- 24:22Speaker 6: So was it profitable because it's like, definitely, Well, if
- 24:24Speaker 6: you're paying forty thousand a month, but your gross is sixty,
- 24:28Speaker 6: the net probably forty, so you're like breaking even.
- 24:31Speaker 7: Noah, Well I was probably netting probably ten thousand dollars
- 24:34Speaker 7: per month, okay, yeah, anywhere, so the price was fluctuating,
- 24:37Speaker 7: so anywhere from ten thousand, so my car notes was
- 24:39Speaker 7: probably around three thousand dollars a month up towards the
- 24:41Speaker 7: forty thousands.
- 24:42Speaker 6: I started getting more cars, okay, yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 7: So each car averages anywhere from six hundred dollars to
- 24:47Speaker 7: one thousand dollars a month net. Okay, Yeah, So that
- 24:51Speaker 7: was what was happening. But some cars weren't ready, or
- 24:54Speaker 7: some cars will get in in an accident. So the
- 24:56Speaker 7: cars that were performing well will offset the cars that
- 24:58Speaker 7: weren't performing well.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, so is there like because the masoriety thing is crazy?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Is there somewhere that you went to find out the
- 25:07Speaker 3: level of depreciation on cars and then that became your
- 25:09Speaker 3: playbook for like, yo, I gotta get those.
- 25:11Speaker 6: I actually should have did that. In the beginning. I
- 25:13Speaker 6: didn't know nothing about the depreciation. I didn't care.
- 25:15Speaker 7: All I knew was my car No. Was six hundred
- 25:18Speaker 7: and I could probably make twelve two thousand dollars per car.
- 25:22Speaker 7: That's all I cared about. I didn't know about the
- 25:24Speaker 7: depreciation until as I started getting to the business. Because depreciation,
- 25:28Speaker 7: if I'm getting a used car, the depreciatedation is not
- 25:31Speaker 7: too bad once the car is already three years old.
- 25:34Speaker 7: So I wasn't dealing too much with that unless I
- 25:36Speaker 7: got new cars. That's what I am not doing. I
- 25:38Speaker 7: ended vert getting new cars because I realized on the
- 25:41Speaker 7: Touro platform everybody was getting corvetted. Now once I start
- 25:44Speaker 7: running to play everybody and I don't mind sharing it.
- 25:47Speaker 7: So I'm sharing the play so people say, oh, that's
- 25:48Speaker 7: the play we go get some corvettes too. So now
- 25:50Speaker 7: it's in the market that all these corvettes available, So
- 25:53Speaker 7: as a as a client, now when they go to Turo,
- 25:56Speaker 7: they now need to choose which corvette they want to get.
- 25:59Speaker 7: I'm gonna the twenty seventeen Corvette or the twenty twenty
- 26:02Speaker 7: corvette a twenty twenty one Corvette, and depending on the price,
- 26:06Speaker 7: people will usually go for the newer car.
- 26:08Speaker 4: So okay, So how do you buy a newer use
- 26:11Speaker 4: car at a dealership without getting finess to stress?
- 26:15Speaker 7: So all right, So the thing is, typically when we
- 26:18Speaker 7: go into the dealerships, we don't know who the players
- 26:22Speaker 7: in the game or who's evolved. We go into this
- 26:24Speaker 7: game called buying a car, but don't know who the
- 26:26Speaker 7: players are. So the players are one the salesperson. That's
- 26:30Speaker 7: typically the first person you see or that sees you first.
- 26:33Speaker 7: As soon as you get on that lot, they see you.
- 26:35Speaker 7: Soon as you get on that lot.
- 26:36Speaker 2: They pop up.
- 26:39Speaker 7: That's the salesperson, and their job is to sell you
- 26:41Speaker 7: a car, whether it's the car that you want or
- 26:43Speaker 7: a car that they convince you to buy, which is cool.
- 26:46Speaker 6: That's their job.
- 26:47Speaker 7: But then there's after you deal with the salesperson and
- 26:50Speaker 7: pricing and all that and that good stuff. Test driving.
- 26:53Speaker 7: They have the finance manager or the sales manager. Sales
- 26:56Speaker 7: managers oversees the salesperson. But then after you figure out
- 26:59Speaker 7: your deal on your payments, credit report, history, approval process,
- 27:03Speaker 7: you then move into.
- 27:04Speaker 6: The finance managion.
- 27:05Speaker 7: So because people don't know the chain of different individuals
- 27:10Speaker 7: that they're gonna be running into, they don't know what
- 27:12Speaker 7: to say, they don't know how to negotiate, they don't
- 27:14Speaker 7: know how to do nothing.
- 27:14Speaker 6: Like I was, I didn't know nothing.
- 27:16Speaker 7: I just got to solve a price on the website.
- 27:18Speaker 7: And that's what I'm asking for it not knowing that
- 27:19Speaker 7: I can negotiate. If I can negotiate the price down,
- 27:23Speaker 7: that will lower my costs on my monthly note, which
- 27:25Speaker 7: will give me more profit.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Margin when I start renting out these cars.
- 27:29Speaker 7: So getting the car note for five hundred dollars a
- 27:30Speaker 7: month versus seven sixty sixty a month is a difference.
- 27:33Speaker 6: That's your profit margin. You can cash flow one hundred
- 27:35Speaker 6: dollars a month off of a car. That's good.
- 27:37Speaker 2: That's good.
- 27:38Speaker 7: It's your car. That's your cell phone being paid for
- 27:40Speaker 7: every month. You can look at it like that. I
- 27:42Speaker 7: don't ever have to pay for my cell phone for
- 27:44Speaker 7: a whole year because this car is paid for it
- 27:46Speaker 7: things of that nature. So when you get into the
- 27:48Speaker 7: dealership knowing how this process works, it's super important. So
- 27:52Speaker 7: typically when people are going to the dealerships are getting
- 27:55Speaker 7: the car finance, so you having your credit profile already
- 27:58Speaker 7: prepared is super important, super imported. Most people don't know
- 28:01Speaker 7: what their credit score is or credit report is when
- 28:04Speaker 7: they go to the dealership. And if a salesperson or
- 28:07Speaker 7: fiest person knows that, you don't know they have leverage.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Remember they're in the business to sell cars and make
- 28:15Speaker 7: sure that they get the most income out of each
- 28:17Speaker 7: car possible for their bottom line. So why is that
- 28:21Speaker 7: important for you to know your credit score is because
- 28:23Speaker 7: so you can know that when they literally run your
- 28:26Speaker 7: credit report and come back to you. Some salespeople they say, ah,
- 28:30Speaker 7: your credit score is not too good. We can only
- 28:32Speaker 7: get you approved for twenty thousand at ten percent.
- 28:36Speaker 6: But if you know your.
- 28:37Speaker 7: Credit score is stronger than that, like hold hold on
- 28:39Speaker 7: ten percent, I should be getting six percent, five percent.
- 28:43Speaker 7: Why are you charging ten right? So if you don't
- 28:46Speaker 7: have an answer to that, they're gonna let you. You're
- 28:48Speaker 7: gonna be happy with the ten percent just because you
- 28:50Speaker 7: got approved, and they had you sitting there in that
- 28:53Speaker 7: lobby for two hours wait, knowing that it only takes
- 28:57Speaker 7: five minutes to find out whether you're proved or not.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Which so the three bureaus, right, So which one are
- 29:04Speaker 3: they using or are they taking the average of the three?
- 29:06Speaker 6: Yeah? So typically it depends on what lender they're dealing with.
- 29:10Speaker 7: So for example, I go to the dealership and I
- 29:14Speaker 7: give I fill out the credit report. The sales manager
- 29:18Speaker 7: grabs that credit report, whether there's online, website, whatever the
- 29:21Speaker 7: case may be, and gives it to the sales manager, right,
- 29:24Speaker 7: who then helps and finance manager runs the report.
- 29:28Speaker 6: They actually have it if you go to car MA.
- 29:29Speaker 6: Actually they'll actually let you see it.
- 29:31Speaker 9: They fill in your information to your social you address,
- 29:33Speaker 9: all that good stuff, and it literally plugs it into
- 29:36Speaker 9: their system and shoots that information to their lenders and instantly,
- 29:40Speaker 9: five probably ten minutes.
- 29:42Speaker 7: They'll respond back with approved, not approved, approved, with stipulations
- 29:47Speaker 7: not approved because of this. Yeah, we're thinking about it,
- 29:50Speaker 7: but have this person tell us this information why they
- 29:53Speaker 7: be moving for the last two years? Can we verify
- 29:56Speaker 7: their income? They'll do those things, but it all happens
- 29:58Speaker 7: within five to ten minutes. It doesn't take too long.
- 30:01Speaker 7: So once they find that out, they can be able
- 30:03Speaker 7: to let you know, yep, you got to prove of
- 30:05Speaker 7: Bank America. You got proof of chase, which one do
- 30:07Speaker 7: you want to do? But typically they don't give you
- 30:09Speaker 7: two options. They only present them on They don't do that.
- 30:13Speaker 6: You don't ever know that you got to prove by
- 30:15Speaker 6: multiple banks.
- 30:16Speaker 7: They only lets you know one whatever was the most
- 30:19Speaker 7: profitable for them.
- 30:21Speaker 6: So what they do is, you got to prove for
- 30:23Speaker 6: six percent over here.
- 30:25Speaker 7: But they don't have a relationship with Bank America where
- 30:27Speaker 7: they get money any money from that interest right, because
- 30:31Speaker 7: dealerships don't make as much money as more anymore from
- 30:34Speaker 7: the car sale from the top. Because the Internet, Internet
- 30:37Speaker 7: now has the prices of these cars, you can you
- 30:39Speaker 7: can shop prices better, way better now.
- 30:42Speaker 6: So what do the dealerships do to offset that?
- 30:44Speaker 7: They make their money on the back end selling US
- 30:47Speaker 7: warranties packages. The interest rate they add two points, sometimes
- 30:52Speaker 7: two to three points. Sometimes states limit them from adding points.
- 30:55Speaker 7: But if they didn't have no limits, some people probably say,
- 30:57Speaker 7: you got a proof for four percent and you don't
- 30:59Speaker 7: know better.
- 31:00Speaker 6: Congratulations APROS.
- 31:03Speaker 7: Cars, because all you're looking at is the monthly payments,
- 31:10Speaker 7: and that's what the salesperson is supposed to let you do.
- 31:12Speaker 6: Focus on the monthly payments, not the interest rate.
- 31:16Speaker 3: So I mean, at this rate, you're accumulating a lot
- 31:18Speaker 3: of cars, but with all cars comes wear into yep.
- 31:23Speaker 3: So so how do you mitigate that? Are you making
- 31:27Speaker 3: connections with repair shops, all the bodies? What's that process like?
- 31:31Speaker 7: So when you're in this rental business, you end up
- 31:33Speaker 7: building relationships with the autobody shops, the mechanics, the car
- 31:38Speaker 7: wash business, insurance. Basically, once you come into rental space,
- 31:41Speaker 7: you're not even in the rental space. You're in the
- 31:43Speaker 7: insurance space, right, You're an insurance game. You're in the
- 31:46Speaker 7: car washing game, car car maintenance game. So while I
- 31:50Speaker 7: was in this business, I built relationships with the Top
- 31:52Speaker 7: of the Top in Atlanta how to wash these cars
- 31:55Speaker 7: and get the right soaps, the right materials to make
- 31:57Speaker 7: sure that these cars are being protected and well at
- 32:01Speaker 7: cheap costs. Right, A lot of these cars can be
- 32:04Speaker 7: maintained really really low. But a lot of people don't get
- 32:06Speaker 7: those same rates because they're not in this business. They
- 32:09Speaker 7: just go and take their cars in the nearest auto
- 32:12Speaker 7: body shop, and because they don't have relationship with them,
- 32:14Speaker 7: they hit them.
- 32:14Speaker 6: Over the head with prices.
- 32:16Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 32:17Speaker 6: So that's how that situation works. How she got hit
- 32:20Speaker 6: on my head with my Maserati.
- 32:22Speaker 7: As soon as I bought the Maserati, the brakes were
- 32:26Speaker 7: warped and I didn't know. I didn't know better, and
- 32:30Speaker 7: because I didn't know better, I didn't do better. So
- 32:32Speaker 7: I'm driving the car, so it was like off the lot,
- 32:33Speaker 7: I'm like, why is this thing shaking? I take the
- 32:36Speaker 7: car to the firestone. The dude pulls the wheel out.
- 32:38Speaker 7: He said, Bro, I don't know how you were even
- 32:39Speaker 7: driving this car. The tire was bald. All that because
- 32:42Speaker 7: I didn't have the knowledge to inspect the car. But
- 32:45Speaker 7: there's a tool. There's a tool that I go to now.
- 32:47Speaker 7: It's called your Mechanic dot Com. You pay that person
- 32:50Speaker 7: seventy five dollars before you buy a car. They'll inspect
- 32:52Speaker 7: to let you know this is a good car and
- 32:54Speaker 7: you can have your car with less buyer's remorse because
- 32:58Speaker 7: you checked it out properly.
- 33:00Speaker 4: How do you buy a car under your business name
- 33:02Speaker 4: without reporting it in your personally.
- 33:05Speaker 6: So there's a couple of different strategies do that. I
- 33:07Speaker 6: think you guys talked about it.
- 33:08Speaker 7: I tapped into the But one that wasn't mentioned was
- 33:12Speaker 7: if somebody gets a business credit card with ten thousand,
- 33:16Speaker 7: twenty dolls, you could buy a car with the credit card.
- 33:18Speaker 7: That's simple, right. If you got one percent interest or
- 33:21Speaker 7: zero percent interest for a year, you can literally buy
- 33:23Speaker 7: your car with the credit card and tell them put
- 33:25Speaker 7: it in the business name. That's simple, right. Most people
- 33:27Speaker 7: never thought about it that way because I'm there so
- 33:30Speaker 7: used to getting cars for personal use, and personal use
- 33:33Speaker 7: typically means it's a liability. So we be transferred from
- 33:37Speaker 7: a liability to the asset. We're going to buy it
- 33:39Speaker 7: under a business name because also there's gonna be protection,
- 33:41Speaker 7: more protection under business, and it's not gonna mess with
- 33:44Speaker 7: our debt to income ratio, super important.
- 33:47Speaker 2: All right, So this is this is crazy, right?
- 33:49Speaker 3: So this is partnering with small dealerships but using their
- 33:54Speaker 3: cars to rent.
- 33:56Speaker 6: So what is this?
- 33:57Speaker 7: So the rental space was so advantage that I never
- 34:02Speaker 7: had enough cars. All my cars be renting, but I'll
- 34:05Speaker 7: never have enough, right, So I'll say, dang, how can
- 34:07Speaker 7: I get more cars? Because I'm not going to be
- 34:09Speaker 7: able to get more cars with my name. Now they're
- 34:10Speaker 7: showing after those thirty days that I utilized my credit
- 34:13Speaker 7: to get these cars because they weren't showing on my credit.
- 34:16Speaker 7: Now they're all on my credit, so I can't get
- 34:18Speaker 7: more cars. So I was able to go to different
- 34:21Speaker 7: smaller dealerships, mom and pop dealerships and say, the cars
- 34:25Speaker 7: that you guys have in your lot that looks like
- 34:26Speaker 7: a car graveyard because it's collecting dust. Did you know
- 34:30Speaker 7: you guys can rent out these cars.
- 34:31Speaker 6: We don't rent our cars or none in this business.
- 34:33Speaker 6: That's how it would be in the first place. But
- 34:35Speaker 6: once you start showing them numbers showing that it makes sense.
- 34:37Speaker 7: Build trust report you could actually rent out their cars
- 34:41Speaker 7: for you and runt out their cars for you, or
- 34:43Speaker 7: for them actually and do a deal with them fifty
- 34:45Speaker 7: to fifty eighty twenty, whatever deal you want to do
- 34:46Speaker 7: with them. The thing is, if you don't have the
- 34:48Speaker 7: cash or we don't have the credit to get cars,
- 34:51Speaker 7: you can utilize other people's vehicles.
- 34:53Speaker 6: You can now utilize other people's credit.
- 34:55Speaker 7: I can literally walk up to somebody with on the
- 34:57Speaker 7: street and say, hey, what's your credit card? I got
- 34:59Speaker 7: a cool seven hundred. Did you know with that seven
- 35:01Speaker 7: hundred you can get you a car that's gonna bring
- 35:02Speaker 7: you a little cash flow in no, tell me about it.
- 35:04Speaker 7: If you convince that person, you can get them a
- 35:06Speaker 7: car under their name and do a business deal with
- 35:08Speaker 7: them running.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Out that car, take a percentage. Yep.
- 35:11Speaker 4: So how do you partner with police officers to get
- 35:14Speaker 4: the scoop on car accidents?
- 35:15Speaker 3: Oh?
- 35:16Speaker 6: But what's the deal with that?
- 35:18Speaker 2: Yo? All right?
- 35:19Speaker 6: So my boy in New York?
- 35:20Speaker 7: Right, so say say you have a car flee a
- 35:24Speaker 7: fleet of cars. You have five Toyota Priuses economy cars. Right,
- 35:30Speaker 7: when there's an accident, what typically happens somebody calls the
- 35:33Speaker 7: police to be able to make the report. But in
- 35:36Speaker 7: that accident, this car, this person's car is wrecked and
- 35:38Speaker 7: this person's car is wrecked. Right, no matter whose fault
- 35:41Speaker 7: it is, these cars are now undrivable and they're gonna
- 35:45Speaker 7: go to the toy yard or whatever case may be,
- 35:47Speaker 7: your auto body shop. But now this person that was
- 35:49Speaker 7: in this wreck and this person that was in the wreck,
- 35:51Speaker 7: they don't have a car to drive. So I know
- 35:53Speaker 7: a dude who has a network with police officers. YO,
- 35:56Speaker 7: call me anytime there's an accident, I'm gonna pull out
- 36:00Speaker 7: and let them know that we can fix their car,
- 36:03Speaker 7: and Shirt's gonna pay for it. They basically convince it
- 36:05Speaker 7: that person, Look, you got an accident, you got insurance,
- 36:08Speaker 7: cool insurance is gonna.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Pay for it.
- 36:10Speaker 7: But take it to my auto body shop. Not only
- 36:13Speaker 7: are you gonna take the car to my autobody shop,
- 36:15Speaker 7: I'm gonna provide you with a car renal that they're
- 36:17Speaker 7: gonna pay for it.
- 36:18Speaker 6: In Shuret's gonna pay for at the same time. So
- 36:20Speaker 6: he double dips.
- 36:22Speaker 7: But he was able to double dip because he has
- 36:23Speaker 7: a network of officers that call him.
- 36:25Speaker 6: It's basically how the tow truck companies work. Yeah, total
- 36:28Speaker 6: truck companies.
- 36:29Speaker 7: How they work is because they grandfathered into a network
- 36:31Speaker 7: of police officer. When the police officer needs a car
- 36:33Speaker 7: toe they called the network of toll trucks and they
- 36:36Speaker 7: come in. So any tow truck company that has these contracts,
- 36:40Speaker 7: they make their money by just pulling up anytime the
- 36:42Speaker 7: police officer costs. But people don't know that you could
- 36:44Speaker 7: do it for your car. Riddles too, right, Not just
- 36:46Speaker 7: police officers, anybody that's in a situation of witnessing a
- 36:49Speaker 7: car accident, if you could put it out there in
- 36:51Speaker 7: the universe, if you see a car accident, call me,
- 36:54Speaker 7: you can be able to tap into that and rent
- 36:55Speaker 7: it out.
- 36:56Speaker 4: With like those billboards in New York, like personal injury attorney,
- 37:01Speaker 4: same thing, same thing, and one of them passed away,
- 37:05Speaker 4: right recipe, It's like, yeah, the ambulance chases that.
- 37:10Speaker 6: If you full.

- 39:36Speaker 6: Crazy the show better call saw that's what all?
- 39:41Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So it's a whole booming industry of people.
- 39:44Speaker 4: It's like they look for that, like if you fall
- 39:47Speaker 4: at work or if you're falling and now unfortunately it's crazy.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Do you know what the most popular thing that you hear,
- 39:53Speaker 4: especially in New York, I don't know if it's in Atlanta,
- 39:55Speaker 4: police brutality. If you, if you or somebody who know
- 39:58Speaker 4: has been a victim of in the last two years, crumbs,
- 40:10Speaker 4: if you or somebody you know has been a victim
- 40:12Speaker 4: of police brutality in the last two years, call.
- 40:17Speaker 7: It's a strong these a strong play once more people
- 40:19Speaker 7: start being privy to these different opportunities in rental space.
- 40:22Speaker 6: You know how black people are. We get real creative,
- 40:24Speaker 6: get real creative, can do.
- 40:28Speaker 2: So. So I'm glad you broke down the interest part.
- 40:31Speaker 2: But is there a way to buy the car without
- 40:34Speaker 2: high interest or interest at them?
- 40:36Speaker 6: So that's a good point point.
- 40:38Speaker 7: So in order to get a car with zero interest
- 40:41Speaker 7: either you got to have like super super super good,
- 40:44Speaker 7: super good uh credit profile and they're just doing it
- 40:49Speaker 7: as a favor because that's how they make their money.
- 40:51Speaker 7: Banks they needed, as you guys know, in the financial space,
- 40:53Speaker 7: banks they need to invest that money that's just sitting
- 40:56Speaker 7: there or inflation is going to eat it up. So
- 40:59Speaker 7: there's different ways that banks invest the money that's just
- 41:01Speaker 7: sitting there, home loans and auto loans and investing into
- 41:06Speaker 7: the market. So out of auto loans they have to
- 41:08Speaker 7: make their money back. Say say Erica needs a car
- 41:12Speaker 7: and she doesn't have the money to pay for it
- 41:14Speaker 7: for cash. Bank will say, oh, okay, we'll give you
- 41:17Speaker 7: the money for two percent back, one percent back, depending
- 41:20Speaker 7: on the situation. But the way that you can get
- 41:22Speaker 7: it for zero percent is if you buy what a
- 41:24Speaker 7: credit card that has zero percent interests. You don't have
- 41:26Speaker 7: to buy a twenty thousand dollars car to get in
- 41:28Speaker 7: the space. You can buy five thousand dollars car. If
- 41:30Speaker 7: you don't have five thousand dollars cash, you can use
- 41:32Speaker 7: your car your credit card to buy a five thousand
- 41:34Speaker 7: dollars car and immediately use it to be able to
- 41:37Speaker 7: be renting on platforms like hire car to row, generate
- 41:41Speaker 7: the income, pay that loan back, and now you got
- 41:43Speaker 7: a car.
- 41:44Speaker 4: And even in my red I'm thinking even the supplement,
- 41:46Speaker 4: even if you're not doing it as a full time business. Yes,
- 41:48Speaker 4: something average the average person, outside of their living expenses,
- 41:53Speaker 4: their car is their biggest expense, their biggest monthly No,
- 41:56Speaker 4: it's like either your rent or your mortgage is going
- 41:58Speaker 4: to be number one. Your car is going you know
- 42:00Speaker 4: for most people outside like student loan stuff like that.
- 42:03Speaker 4: So it's like the average person might be struggling. And
- 42:06Speaker 4: even if it's a three hundred dollars four hundred whatever.
- 42:10Speaker 4: In my brain, there's always some time where you may
- 42:12Speaker 4: not use your car. Vacations, vacations Saturday or you know, Sunday,
- 42:18Speaker 4: if you're just you know, just staying in there.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Like if you're taking the train to work every day.
- 42:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I just want to switch it up a little
- 42:23Speaker 6: bit for the month. Yeah, season? How does that work?
- 42:25Speaker 3: Like that?
- 42:26Speaker 4: Can an average person that maybe is not looking to
- 42:28Speaker 4: do a business but just looking to just cut back
- 42:31Speaker 4: on it on the on the monthly note and I
- 42:34Speaker 4: have to pay that money as.
- 42:36Speaker 7: Long as they don't have an emotional attachment to the
- 42:38Speaker 7: car and they don't mind sharing it and handing the
- 42:40Speaker 7: keys to somebody and understanding of how to manage the car.
- 42:43Speaker 6: Absolutely well.
- 42:44Speaker 7: For me, that's how I started Saturdays only, But Saturday's
- 42:47Speaker 7: turning to me having a whole operation for the specific business.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Because it's dope because it's like there's a reference point
- 42:52Speaker 4: for Airbnb, so it's not far and it's like, exactly,
- 42:55Speaker 4: it's already it's thinking about airbnb just for cars, exactly exactly?
- 43:00Speaker 4: Is there certain like all right? Like if you just
- 43:02Speaker 4: have a like a hondoid Dodge, will people be willing
- 43:07Speaker 4: to Yes.
- 43:08Speaker 7: I'm in the luxury space, but I'm gonn also have
- 43:10Speaker 7: economy cars, standard cars.
- 43:11Speaker 6: I got smart cars, paid cash for it.
- 43:14Speaker 7: Smart cars work so many plays with a smart car
- 43:17Speaker 7: or any car, you can get the car wrapped I
- 43:19Speaker 7: think they mentioned before.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Get a car wrapped on all sides. I've actually seen
- 43:24Speaker 6: the Atlantic station. The dude pulled up.
- 43:26Speaker 7: I said, Yo, let me ask you a question. How
- 43:27Speaker 7: much did this business pay you to wrap your car?
- 43:30Speaker 7: He said, three hundred dollars for the month. He made
- 43:32Speaker 7: three hundred dollars just to wrap somebody else's business on
- 43:34Speaker 7: the car. Right, his car probably look beat up, the
- 43:37Speaker 7: paintless chipping. Now he got a fresh little wrap on there,
- 43:40Speaker 7: making three hundred dollars, and that three hundred.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Dollars pays for it. Probably his his groceries and gas.
- 43:45Speaker 7: Now he don't worry about groceries as a gas ever
- 43:47Speaker 7: again until he finds it, of course, unless he doesn't
- 43:50Speaker 7: do it anymore. That's just one way, right, and then
- 43:52Speaker 7: he can again reunt out his car to people who
- 43:54Speaker 7: need to just travel.
- 43:56Speaker 6: It's just building a network of people who need a
- 43:57Speaker 6: car in any situation.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Let me let me ask you this, because like, if
- 44:01Speaker 4: I rent a car from hurt so you know I'm
- 44:03Speaker 4: going to the airport or the actual car rental place,
- 44:08Speaker 4: it's usually centrally located. So if I live, like in
- 44:11Speaker 4: a suburb or something like that, do I have to
- 44:14Speaker 4: actually drive the car for somebody to come pick it up,
- 44:16Speaker 4: or like, how's that aspect of the car rental business works?
- 44:20Speaker 6: Location? I got you?
- 44:21Speaker 5: So?
- 44:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 7: For example, if I if I have a car and
- 44:25Speaker 7: no like an hour away from Atlanta, right from an
- 44:28Speaker 7: hour away from Atlanta, and I don't want to tap
- 44:30Speaker 7: into the city or the airport where everybody's at, I
- 44:34Speaker 7: would have to build a network of having people that's
- 44:36Speaker 7: in that area that need to cars rent. And you'll
- 44:38Speaker 7: be surprised if there's no enterprise there. That means it's
- 44:41Speaker 7: it's still people that need the car. There's people in
- 44:44Speaker 7: our way that wish that there was a place for
- 44:46Speaker 7: them to get able to rent cars in their specific area.
- 44:49Speaker 7: And the question is why would somebody runt out of
- 44:51Speaker 7: a car in Loganville and that was just an hour way. Well,
- 44:55Speaker 7: somebody's car broke down. Yeah they need a car. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:00Speaker 7: supply to man.
- 45:01Speaker 3: So in the hotel business like Airbnb, I know there's
- 45:05Speaker 3: a checkout time, So I'm wondering in the car space,
- 45:08Speaker 3: is that like, Yo, I rented from eleven to eleven
- 45:10Speaker 3: and if I don't bring it back in that time,
- 45:12Speaker 3: what's the penalty or what happens if I don't bring
- 45:14Speaker 3: it back at all.
- 45:15Speaker 7: Same situation with every b Yeah, so check in, check
- 45:18Speaker 7: out time, same situation where you can actually set up
- 45:21Speaker 7: it's your car, you can set it up however you
- 45:23Speaker 7: want to pickups or at this time, between this time
- 45:27Speaker 7: and this time, you can sounds like that.
- 45:28Speaker 6: And then when they book your car they say, okay, cool,
- 45:30Speaker 6: I'll pick it up at three o'clock. I'll pick it
- 45:32Speaker 6: up at five.
- 45:33Speaker 7: If there's after hours, you can charge more for after hours,
- 45:36Speaker 7: or you can just make it between these hours. But
- 45:39Speaker 7: one of the biggest issues is of course people bringing
- 45:41Speaker 7: the car back like and messing up bookings, just like Airbnb. Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 7: so it's just a matter of managing the communication with
- 45:47Speaker 7: the guests to make sure that they bring the car back.
- 45:49Speaker 7: And if they don't bring in a car back, there's
- 45:51Speaker 7: different ways to get compensated, whether it's to taking their
- 45:54Speaker 7: deposit or on tu ro letting Turo know that they
- 45:56Speaker 7: didn't bring the car back and they need to be
- 45:58Speaker 7: charged for half a day or a whole day, depending
- 46:01Speaker 7: on how late they work.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Do you have a maintenance team, because I know, like
- 46:04Speaker 2: after somebody leaves, they clean the apartment.
- 46:06Speaker 6: You have definitely the check in check out team.
- 46:08Speaker 7: They make sure that the car came back in the
- 46:10Speaker 7: same condition and they went out in right check the
- 46:13Speaker 7: tires because that's one of the biggest things that get
- 46:15Speaker 7: messed up in the car on the base they rim
- 46:17Speaker 7: rash the tires. But all these different situations that may happen,
- 46:21Speaker 7: we have protocols for every situation. If somebody messes up
- 46:24Speaker 7: the rims, there's a fee for that. There's a reimbursement
- 46:27Speaker 7: fee for that. If somebody smokes in the car, there's
- 46:30Speaker 7: a feed for that same situation. A little Dinxon things.
- 46:33Speaker 7: You're creating all these things. Yeah, I got a hold.
- 46:35Speaker 7: I'm really analytical. I made sure I had a list
- 46:38Speaker 7: for every possible situation.
- 46:39Speaker 6: Here's my quote. If it can't happen, it will, So
- 46:42Speaker 6: you just don't need to make sure.
- 46:43Speaker 7: We have the process and procedures to take care of
- 46:45Speaker 7: it when it does, and we make sure we communicate
- 46:47Speaker 7: it with a guest beforehand, so it's not surprise that
- 46:51Speaker 7: it smells like smoking here and it's someone like smoke
- 46:53Speaker 7: like before, So we're gonna have to charge to take
- 46:55Speaker 7: care to smell for the next guest. So of course
- 46:58Speaker 7: some people take it responsibility. But some people say, man,
- 47:00Speaker 7: I don't want smoke. I don't want smoke. No weak man,
- 47:03Speaker 7: bro It smell like we did, you know what I'm saying.
- 47:06Speaker 7: So that's part of the nature of the business. But
- 47:08Speaker 7: making sure that you have the systems in place to
- 47:10Speaker 7: take care of it.
- 47:11Speaker 6: Let me ask you this.
- 47:13Speaker 4: One of the biggest hurdles that stops people from getting cars,
- 47:17Speaker 4: especially like probably at scale like this would be their credit.
- 47:20Speaker 4: So do you have any hacks or tips for people
- 47:23Speaker 4: to you know, rebuild repair their credit to get into
- 47:25Speaker 4: the car.
- 47:26Speaker 7: And we got a whole network of these dope because
- 47:28Speaker 7: credit when it was a credit repayer two years ago,
- 47:31Speaker 7: it was like, that's that scammy. We just didn't know
- 47:34Speaker 7: the loss, We didn't know the process and procedures of
- 47:36Speaker 7: getting these things off of our creditor profile because of
- 47:39Speaker 7: the loopholes that were created. Right and luckily we have
- 47:42Speaker 7: teams like we got Recession Proof that can help people
- 47:45Speaker 7: with that process to educate them. But through even through
- 47:47Speaker 7: Recession Proof, there's hundreds of women and men who now
- 47:51Speaker 7: know how to take care of these inquiries, reports, eviction.
- 47:54Speaker 6: Student loans.
- 47:55Speaker 7: Legally, we're not even talking about finessing the system nearly
- 47:58Speaker 7: legally doing it. So if somebody wants to use their
- 48:01Speaker 7: own profile to do so, they can do it or
- 48:04Speaker 7: make it, build out a business profile and buy a
- 48:07Speaker 7: card in the business, and that has nothing to do
- 48:08Speaker 7: with their horrible personal credit. Business profiles straight personal is horrible.
- 48:12Speaker 7: You can just use your business, but somebody says. Somebody
- 48:15Speaker 7: might say, well, I don't have a business profile. There's
- 48:17Speaker 7: strategies that are out there where you can buy a
- 48:19Speaker 7: business's profile, shelf companies and add tradelines to that that
- 48:23Speaker 7: that specific shelf company that exists, and then operate within
- 48:27Speaker 7: that business. There's so many people who sell business. I
- 48:28Speaker 7: can sell my business right now to somebody. My business
- 48:31Speaker 7: has been out.
- 48:32Speaker 6: For twelve years. Talk about that.
- 48:34Speaker 7: Yeah, so literally CEO cartells my LLC say I was
- 48:38Speaker 7: never using co Cartel right, or I stopped using it,
- 48:42Speaker 7: or I was being really laxer, or I built this
- 48:45Speaker 7: LLC just to sell it. I could just sell the
- 48:48Speaker 7: LLC has nothing to do with the services of products,
- 48:50Speaker 7: just this business entity. I can sell a business entity,
- 48:54Speaker 7: and that what they call shelf companies. It's like a body.
- 48:57Speaker 7: But of course the body can't just have skeleton. It
- 48:59Speaker 7: has to have its skin and bones. That's why the
- 49:01Speaker 7: profile is important. So they add the skin and bones
- 49:04Speaker 7: via trade lines, via business transactions and things of that nature.
- 49:08Speaker 7: And that's the different strategy as well, So many strategies.
- 49:11Speaker 7: The excuse of I don't have the cash or credit
- 49:14Speaker 7: is an excuse me more. We can leverage somebody else's cash,
- 49:17Speaker 7: leverage somebody else's credit, like you judge somebody else's time.
- 49:21Speaker 3: So you talked about getting it from the dealership. You
- 49:23Speaker 3: talked about getting the cars from mom and pops. What
- 49:26Speaker 3: about auctions? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that process look like ye yeah.
- 49:29Speaker 3: So man, when, for example, say we got an accident.
- 49:34Speaker 3: So I say an NFL player gets his car crashed,
- 49:37Speaker 3: But no, he's no longer in the league. He's not
- 49:39Speaker 3: making the money like he used to make it, so
- 49:40Speaker 3: he can't pay for the maintenance on the car no more,
- 49:43Speaker 3: or can't pay.
- 49:44Speaker 6: To fix it whatever case, or just doesn't want to right.
- 49:47Speaker 6: That car is now sitting at the auto body shop,
- 49:49Speaker 6: just chilling.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 49:50Speaker 7: So now if it sits there too long and the
- 49:52Speaker 7: person never picks up the car, they put a lien
- 49:55Speaker 7: on that car. They have the opportunity to either sell
- 49:58Speaker 7: it to auction after the lean or sell it to
- 50:00Speaker 7: you if you know better. If you pull up and say, yo,
- 50:01Speaker 7: any cars that you put on me, sell it to
- 50:03Speaker 7: me first, they'll send it to the auction.
- 50:05Speaker 6: Right or if it already went to the auction.
- 50:06Speaker 7: Most people think that you need a dealer's license to
- 50:08Speaker 7: buy cars at the auction, some du like Mike Manheim.
- 50:11Speaker 7: But there's a dealership, there's an auction where you don't
- 50:13Speaker 7: need a dealer's license that you can go there and
- 50:16Speaker 7: buy cars, cash cars, salvage cars. Right to road does
- 50:19Speaker 7: allow savage cars. But if you're doing personal bookings and
- 50:21Speaker 7: the car is straight and it's been checked out, you
- 50:24Speaker 7: can run out those cars.
- 50:25Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. Those are the different strategies
- 50:27Speaker 6: how to do that? How do you feel about?
- 50:29Speaker 4: Like we see Hurts going under and a lot of
- 50:31Speaker 4: car dealership, well car rental places is going under. Yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 4: so it's an interesting to see the rise of Toro
- 50:37Speaker 4: and things that make sure what what's the disconnect?
- 50:41Speaker 6: Like, it's not like people don't need cars anymore. How
- 50:44Speaker 6: come the big boys are struggling right right?
- 50:46Speaker 7: I think it's because their business models. Obviously it's their
- 50:48Speaker 7: business model is different they have. For example, there'll be
- 50:51Speaker 7: one gym that shuts down, I think goes them also
- 50:53Speaker 7: shut down.
- 50:54Speaker 6: Another gym is thriving.
- 50:56Speaker 7: The only difference is the business model and the revenue
- 50:58Speaker 7: model and the certain the the capacity of services so
- 51:02Speaker 7: as we know.
- 51:02Speaker 6: Hurts budget.
- 51:03Speaker 7: All those those big companies in this cardinal space, they
- 51:07Speaker 7: have too many cars, right, they have either too many cars,
- 51:10Speaker 7: or they don't have the right cars that people actually
- 51:11Speaker 7: want to run out, or they're not serving the right market,
- 51:14Speaker 7: or they have limitations because they have limitations like you
- 51:16Speaker 7: have to be twenty five and older to get a car,
- 51:19Speaker 7: you have to have a credit card or debit card.
- 51:20Speaker 7: With this, they have different stipulations for you to get cars.
- 51:24Speaker 7: So at scale, larger companies are more prone.
- 51:26Speaker 2: To be.
- 51:28Speaker 7: Affected by a pandemic because it's a large scale business.
- 51:32Speaker 7: So for me, because I'm smaller, I'm able to pivot
- 51:35Speaker 7: more so on Turo when the pandemic had, it was
- 51:38Speaker 7: less bookings, but I was able to pivot to running
- 51:41Speaker 7: out to nurses when they came into town.
- 51:44Speaker 6: Nurses they were getting paid ten thousand dollars.
- 51:46Speaker 7: A month to help Atlanta with the Corona situation, to
- 51:53Speaker 7: leave their city in state and get flown out flewd
- 51:56Speaker 7: out to this specific state to help. But now this
- 51:59Speaker 7: nurse needs a place to stay in a car to drive.
- 52:02Speaker 7: So now that I know that they need these two things,
- 52:04Speaker 7: I can offer the airbnb and I can offer the cars.
- 52:07Speaker 7: And they have no problem paying five hundred to eight
- 52:10Speaker 7: hundred to twelve hundred dollars a month for the car
- 52:12Speaker 7: because they're getting paid ten thousands. So they just added
- 52:14Speaker 7: that to the budget. Some of these people, like these actresses,
- 52:17Speaker 7: the production teams actually pay for these cars for Yeah,
- 52:20Speaker 7: So there's so many different strategies when it comes to this.
- 52:23Speaker 7: And like I mentioned before, even during the pandemic where
- 52:26Speaker 7: Rose was the grocery's delivery and the Postmates and the
- 52:30Speaker 7: Uber eats and things that nature pivot, I.
- 52:32Speaker 4: See, this is one of these things that's probably one
- 52:35Speaker 4: of the more practical things that anybody can react because,
- 52:38Speaker 4: like I said, I mean, it's one thing. You can
- 52:40Speaker 4: start your own car rental business if you want. But
- 52:43Speaker 4: from my brain, even for me personally, I'm interested in
- 52:46Speaker 4: this because I feel like, like I explained you to
- 52:48Speaker 4: play with la and so that's like for me personally,
- 52:52Speaker 4: but the average person, like I said, you're just trying
- 52:55Speaker 4: to just save some money. So whether it's rent into
- 52:59Speaker 4: some people that you need, you know, a car for
- 53:01Speaker 4: the weekend, or Uber each driver make it makes sense
- 53:06Speaker 4: from the hours of four to eight o'clock at night.
- 53:09Speaker 4: You know, you come home from work and you're not
- 53:11Speaker 4: doing nothing at night anyway, that is.
- 53:13Speaker 2: What I was thinking.
- 53:14Speaker 6: Night workers think of that.
- 53:15Speaker 3: I was thinking, like the person who who gets on
- 53:17Speaker 3: the train at eight am, that makes seven thirty to
- 53:20Speaker 3: pick up. Time you get up the train at six pm,
- 53:23Speaker 3: you make six pm to drop off. You literally picking
- 53:25Speaker 3: up the car as you're coming home when you need.
- 53:27Speaker 6: It, or just the soccer mom or whatever.
- 53:30Speaker 4: That's like you know what I'm saying, the dad that
- 53:33Speaker 4: works a regular job, they traveling, but then they locking
- 53:36Speaker 4: in with their kids that night. And you know a
- 53:38Speaker 4: lot of people, the average person when they get home
- 53:41Speaker 4: at like six o'clock, they're not really leaving the house
- 53:43Speaker 4: after that. So from the hours and maybe like six
- 53:46Speaker 4: to ten, UBER each driver can rent your car.
- 53:51Speaker 6: That's a bar. See what I think about that. I
- 53:55Speaker 6: just learned that right now.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Welcome, learn your leasure man.
- 54:00Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying, It makes sense. It makes sense.
- 54:03Speaker 7: Damn, that's the most practical. Probably some people have a
- 54:06Speaker 7: problem with giving a car to somebody like a stranger.
- 54:09Speaker 7: But for me, I realized that when you go to
- 54:12Speaker 7: the dealership to get one car, you can get a
- 54:14Speaker 7: car for your personal use and a car for rental.
- 54:17Speaker 7: You can get two cars and have that one car
- 54:19Speaker 7: pay for both.
- 54:22Speaker 3: So so he plays on a day to day basis.
- 54:24Speaker 3: How involved are you in this right, because this is
- 54:26Speaker 3: a big operation. Well it sounds like it's not. You
- 54:29Speaker 3: call it a small business, but this is a big operation.
- 54:31Speaker 3: So you got to hire a team obviously, delegate roles.
- 54:35Speaker 3: How involved are you in the process on the day
- 54:37Speaker 3: to day?
- 54:38Speaker 7: Yeah, Now, I'm only involved in because I have a team.
- 54:40Speaker 7: So I was able to have people I trusted. I'm
- 54:44Speaker 7: in the part of a church organization and having these
- 54:46Speaker 7: cars and having these luxury cars and people having keys
- 54:48Speaker 7: to this, you need people that you can trust. So
- 54:51Speaker 7: because I have so many cars, I needed a team
- 54:53Speaker 7: that I trusted, and I have seven. One team handles
- 54:56Speaker 7: the protection lost call it what they call it lost
- 54:59Speaker 7: prevention in the retail space, to make sure that we
- 55:02Speaker 7: track the cars. So we have an app that we
- 55:04Speaker 7: can literally track every single car and where they're at
- 55:06Speaker 7: so that persons make sure they did that.
- 55:08Speaker 6: We have the check in and check out.
- 55:09Speaker 7: Team, accounting team, we have the customer support team, and
- 55:15Speaker 7: the buying team to make sure that we're always getting
- 55:17Speaker 7: the right cars going in and out selling cars use
- 55:20Speaker 7: the nature. So for me personally, I don't have to
- 55:22Speaker 7: do anything outside of just being a CEO, just over
- 55:26Speaker 7: like checking make sure everything got done for the.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Week, you know what I'm saying.
- 55:29Speaker 7: And my wife, Erica, miss Erica Pride, She's the queen
- 55:33Speaker 7: of managing to the point where I'm free, you know
- 55:35Speaker 7: what I'm saying. I'm free, free from all the frustrations
- 55:38Speaker 7: that I had in the early stages of the business.
- 55:40Speaker 2: We just we just figured out how you got the
- 55:42Speaker 2: time for clubhouse.
- 55:45Speaker 7: People will always try to look for passive income. When
- 55:48Speaker 7: you have a passive business that's creating passive impact, to
- 55:51Speaker 7: hop on that.
- 55:52Speaker 6: Club passive business creating passive impact.
- 55:55Speaker 3: I like that.
- 55:56Speaker 4: So it's like, all right, is Toro the same or
- 56:00Speaker 4: any of these car services? Are they the same as
- 56:03Speaker 4: like Airbnb where you just how do you actually get on,
- 56:07Speaker 4: like you just got to have an application? Do they
- 56:08Speaker 4: accept anybody or.
- 56:10Speaker 7: Yeah, you just the onboarding process was cement your ID,
- 56:13Speaker 7: just like Airbnb. And even if you want to drive
- 56:16Speaker 7: for Uber, you have to send your ID information where
- 56:19Speaker 7: you live, they vet that, they do a background, they
- 56:21Speaker 7: prove you on the platform and all and you get
- 56:23Speaker 7: to go. It's literally easier uploading your car than it
- 56:26Speaker 7: is making a Facebook profile. Literally upload the bit of
- 56:29Speaker 7: your car description, price it, your rules, rates, and the
- 56:34Speaker 7: plan that you want to be on.
- 56:35Speaker 6: When it comes to turo goodgo, how do you know
- 56:37Speaker 6: how to price it? Just what other people are charging.
- 56:38Speaker 7: So we do market research and see whatever the people
- 56:40Speaker 7: are charging and based off that then and it's in
- 56:43Speaker 7: the same cities, in the same area. So they charge
- 56:46Speaker 7: one hundred and fifty for a corvette charge for you
- 56:49Speaker 7: know what I'm saying.
- 56:51Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 56:52Speaker 3: So this is running out of just the Atlanta try
- 56:56Speaker 3: I guess, not even try to state, but the Metro. Yeah,
- 56:58Speaker 3: Metro line up and we are you thinking about expanding
- 57:01Speaker 3: to throughout the state of Georgia.
- 57:02Speaker 6: States That's a good question.
- 57:04Speaker 7: So for me, I'm actually in this business not even
- 57:06Speaker 7: for the cash flow, because I was actually making more
- 57:09Speaker 7: money with less cars because I had less overhead. So
- 57:12Speaker 7: I'm actually leveraging this business to have an opportunity to
- 57:15Speaker 7: hire people. I'm leveraging this business as an opportunity to
- 57:18Speaker 7: be able to network. So when these celebrities coming into town,
- 57:22Speaker 7: I'm a plug. I have a car for you and
- 57:24Speaker 7: the condo. So it's not just about the cash flow,
- 57:26Speaker 7: because there's other reasons.
- 57:28Speaker 2: And in this business.
- 57:29Speaker 6: So how did you get airbnbs? Like, do you do
- 57:33Speaker 6: that before?
- 57:34Speaker 7: Or I was one of the first. Yeah, every b
- 57:36Speaker 7: was after I dabbled. I listed my condo just to
- 57:40Speaker 7: see what people do. I listed my condo back in
- 57:42Speaker 7: twenty fourteen for three point fifty just to see if
- 57:45Speaker 7: somebody will but night.
- 57:46Speaker 6: Yeah, and somebody booked it to cancel it because I
- 57:48Speaker 6: was living there. But I was surprised that somebody paid
- 57:53Speaker 6: three fifty at night for my.
- 57:54Speaker 7: Spot because when it comes to my payments, I'm playing
- 57:58Speaker 7: my spot with thirty two hundred dollars a month. What's
- 58:00Speaker 7: that fifty to seventy dollars a day? Somebody will pay
- 58:02Speaker 7: me three fifty a day? Said that blew my mind.
- 58:05Speaker 6: But I tuck that. I put a sticky note on
- 58:08Speaker 6: that if I ever need to rent out of my spot.
- 58:10Speaker 2: I know how to do it.
- 58:11Speaker 6: Yeah, so I was already familiar with it off of
- 58:13Speaker 6: that test. But I was doing the cars naturally.
- 58:16Speaker 7: People were asking me, yo, do you have a condo
- 58:18Speaker 7: to stay because they were going to get my car
- 58:19Speaker 7: and go to airbnbay.
- 58:20Speaker 6: You don't got to do that no more.
- 58:21Speaker 7: I'll get an Airbnb. We can do all the same place.
- 58:23Speaker 7: To the point where I was putting my Airbnb listings
- 58:26Speaker 7: on my hero profile. The pictures, so you look at
- 58:29Speaker 7: the pictures of the car and that you'll like, right,
- 58:31Speaker 7: You're like, oh dah, you got a condown too, We're
- 58:32Speaker 7: in there, and they'll inquire that way.
- 58:34Speaker 4: It's a package Packe, because when you travel and you're
- 58:37Speaker 4: living in a perfect city.
- 58:41Speaker 6: That being that resource.
- 58:42Speaker 7: I don't even call it the plug. I was the
- 58:44Speaker 7: extension court in that situation. I was doing so much
- 58:48Speaker 7: to plugging people in. Jason Mister two weeks out, my guy,
- 58:52Speaker 7: he said, Lamar owed them. His guy hit him up.
- 58:55Speaker 7: He said, hey, do you know anybody who has an
- 58:57Speaker 7: Airbnb space? And because Lamar told him he had a
- 59:00Speaker 7: house in Atlanta, but it wasn't finished being built, so
- 59:02Speaker 7: he needed a place to be in until it was
- 59:04Speaker 7: done so because I had my amby b Jason knew
- 59:08Speaker 7: I had the Airbnbs, he plugged me in. I wouldn't
- 59:11Speaker 7: be able to have a relationship with an NBA player
- 59:13Speaker 7: that I used to watch every night back home for
- 59:15Speaker 7: my favorite team Lakers. If I didn't have a resource,
- 59:17Speaker 7: that was going to be an asset to him, right,
- 59:19Speaker 7: And that's that was crucial. Once I realized that that
- 59:22Speaker 7: the loose top of places can happen, I started getting
- 59:24Speaker 7: more Airbnb units. I started building relationships with Wile twenty
- 59:28Speaker 7: one Savage and twenty one Savage living Atlanta.
- 59:30Speaker 6: But he's always booking my spot Airbnb. Yeah why boy,
- 59:38Speaker 6: tell you.
- 59:40Speaker 2: I better question. You've got a lot.
- 59:50Speaker 6: He's another clubhouse champion. Yeah yeah, easy. So that's crazy.
- 59:54Speaker 6: I not even thought about like that. You you you're
- 59:56Speaker 6: using it for like really networking? Oh? Yes, leverage is
- 59:59Speaker 6: a great networking tool.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: Yeah, it's And I like being I like doing businesses
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: that are trendy. So when somebody says to Row, I
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: can be in that conversation and add value. Somebody mentions Airbnb,
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: I could be in that conversation and add value.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: That's that's one of my key things. My core value
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: is resourcefulness.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: I want to be as resourceful as possible, so I
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: know what businesses are shaking, whether E commerce, whether it's
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: airbb too, row stocks. I want to be able to
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: tap into all those things so I can be a
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: resource for those who aren't privy to those opportunities.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Well it makes sense now because you was a party promoter.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: I don't even connect that done. That was la that
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: lay connect. That's the ultimate plug. Like the party promoters,
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: what do you need?
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: I got everything.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: Most party promoters they don't know what to do after
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: they get people in those doors. If they get the
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: celebrity in there, they don't know what to do with
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: the masterwords. They don't have other businesses or other opportunities
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: to help facilitate that relationship and nurture that relationship.
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: Outside the club stops there till the next body. Yeah,
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: you're just a promoter. Now that's it.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: We can be more of an asset, way more if
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: we can figure out what people need.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: How much Like I know it depends on Gio graphics
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: and but like on like on average, if somebody wanted
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: to start like a car rental business, how much can
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: can they like expect to make, Like what's a good
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: number to hit each car?
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: I just use the parameters of each car, So each
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: car from anywhere from zero to what I was making
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: twenty six hundred dollars per car, depending on the top
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: of car. If you got a Lambo, if your homie
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: has a lambau like for example, right now, I'm at
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: the stage in this business where people want to ship
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: me their Lambos from La Right. They were like, yo, bro,
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: I don't drive this car. I'm just sitting here paying
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: this five hundred dollars a month. Let me ship it
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: to the Lambo and can you rent it out for me?
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Make money?
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: And a Lambo can run out for what seventeen hundred
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: dollars a day? The car notes probably seventeen hundred dollars. Right,
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: even my ight, my brand new Corvette, my Carnal with
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: my Carvette twelve hundred dollars, that car is getting running
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: it out right now for eight hundred dollars a day,
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: eight hundred.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: Dollar the easy.
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: So all depends on the car, the business model, what
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: you want to do, because like you mentioned before, you
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: can do short term rentals or long term rentals or
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: hourly rentals all dependents. Typically somebody nobody's gonna really do
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: a short term hourly rental for a Honda Accord, but
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: they might do it for a sling shot, one of
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: my sling shots. They'll do rent it out for an hour,
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: one hundred and fifty dollars for an hour, or a supercar.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: They just want to go to the little restaurant with
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: their girl for two hours. I rent it out for
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: two hours. I don't need it all night. All depends
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: on the type of car.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: So pre covid, Yeah, were you getting into entertainment space
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: where actually like production companies or like y need cars.
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: That was happening all the casting directors, the video teams,
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: production teams, they'll call me, you got a car, We
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: need a car for this video weddings, wedding, the people
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: who organize the weddings.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: I forgot with their call, but they hit me up.
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: You got any white Bentley's You got a white as
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: fifty white manserrity, anything white really does good with the
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: wedding space.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: But just being a resource and through that, I'm starting
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: to meet everybody.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: I'm pulling up my car and find out that an
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: agent book my car for a super celebrity, a listener celebrity,
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: and now I'm connected with the celebrity in that aspect.
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: I do marketing as a trade, So now I'm finishing
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: my marketing plans room because of this car. It was
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: a tool, the extension extension car.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: So you figured the game out, and you know what
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: I'm saying. Obviously you know you're doing good for yourself,
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: and you figured out the Airbnb and you figure out
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: the tooral side. At what point do you get into
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: the education space and start to teach people about this?
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: So here's the here's the real play. The real play was.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: I knew I was going to be teaching it before
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: I started.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: This is.
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: Because think about it.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: Anytime somebody does something successful, what's the question that most
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: people ask when they see them doing something?
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: How did you do it?
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Put me on internship something.
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: Most people when we get asked, yo, how did you
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: do it? Most people say, just work hard, grind hard, fluff,
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: straight fluff. We need the bars, we need the details.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: How much money did you spend? How many cars did
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: you have? What was the good things that happened? Well,
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: the bad things that happened. It wasn't just you, So
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: who was the part of your team. We need all
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: those details because most people never document in the process.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: They themselves don't know. They can't articulate or even share
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: how they did it. They know they put into sweat equity.
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: They grind it hard because that's all they knew they did.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: That's all they tell people they did.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: I just grinded hard. I didn't go to sleep. I
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: worked hard.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: But if you can document the process, which I did,
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: I documented since day one. I utilized Instagram stories to
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: document my day. Most people they treat stories like what
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: it's called a story. So I'm telling my story day
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: to day.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: Using the specific platform. So people saw when I got
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: my first car, they can just scroll back into the archives.
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: Dang.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: I remember Maddy got his first car, Tesla, and he
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: saw his first guest. And now they can see that
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: I have forty eight cars now because they saw the journey.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: But that's not good enough. I need to package this
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: information into a content that people can really dive in
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: and do implicate this process or replicated for themselves how
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: they want to. But as educator, my job isn't to
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: say yo, if you do it like me, you're going
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: to get the same results. Now my job is to
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: present opportunities that exists, and then you pick out these opportunities.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: This won't makes sense for me in my situation, scenario, circumstance.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: And it's one of those things where it's like, you know,
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: I love the entrepreneurs that have created online curriculums because
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: it's like one of the things that nineteen Keys said
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Shout out the nineteen Keys on the podcast is he
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: said everything that the school system didn't teach us as
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: created opportunities for us to teach at a much cheaper price.
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: If you think about like you going to college and
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: you spend in thirty thousand and forty thousand dollars, you
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: buy a course for a couple of thousand, I mean
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: in there that's more probably valuable than your college degree
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: because it's specific. Yeah, like this is I want to okay,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: I want to have a car rental business. You can't
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: go to college to have a car rental business.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: So what do you do?
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: You either google your life away and try to figure
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: out hopefully you make it, or you just follow a
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: proven blueprint by somebody that's already been successful, that's actually
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: documented it. They put it in a nice video format
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: and it's a step by step. They have the whole
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: thing laid out for you and you just got to
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: follow the blueprint. And for me, it's like it's been
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: a game changer because I've actually seen it. How you know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: whether it's Wall Street trapped, whether it's MG the mortgage guy,
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: whether it's him five hundred, and it's like it's not
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: necessarily like. One of the things that we heard that
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: was the best is like, no school is judged by
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: the teachers or the principals.
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: The school is judged by the students. Oh, students, students,
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: the success of the students.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: And when you when you have about Howard University, when
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: you have about Harvard Yale, they don't reference the founders.
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: They referenced Bill Gates went here, and this guy went here,
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: and Mark Zucker even if they dropped out, they went there.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Puffy went like, now what I'm saying, So the school
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: is only as good as the students. And now, so
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: I said to say, I'm watching the online entrepreneurs, I'm
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: not Yeah, these guys are successful, But for me, it's
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: the actual success stories that I'm hearing from the students.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Seeing that you know, who kills the game of that
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: Alex Good Energy Yep, member of success.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: You know what's so crazy? He just DMed me like
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: an hour ago and he was like, check out this
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: caption and it was one of his portal members and
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: it was like, Yo, buying this portal it changed my
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: whole life. I'm on my third truck testimonies, no more success.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Like you said, the success dope sells itself.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: That's a fact. So I said to say, man, it's
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: it's dope. So exactly what's in your your curriculum?
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: Yeah, the play same thing everything I did. I documented
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: this story, everything I just mentioned today. It's more visual
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: because I have the pictures to prove it. I got
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: to step by step, hold your hand, I got to receive.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: I got the excels. I'm really transparent. That's one of
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: my other core values outside of resourcefulness. Transparency. I really
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: And the reason why I'm so transparent because usually when
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: I'm talking, I'm really animated people.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: Some people probably listen to me like, Yo, this dude
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: is cap He's lying. Ain't no way he got thirty
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: three cars in two weeks. Who I understand.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: Let me just show you because I can show you better.
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: I can tell you so that's that allowed me to
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: be more of a documentary. If I can be able
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: to show seats, I got their seats, so I show
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: those receipts.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: When I realized most people because.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: I didn't need a course, because I can't sit there
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: and say you needed this course to be successful, I
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: didn't take the course. What I can do is I
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: can help expedict the process for you. What I can
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: do is give you encouragement to hope. I think that's
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: really what the value of the course is, community accountability
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: and encouragement because a lot of people don't have didn't
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: have the same belief system my day when I started.
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: I believe that I can get fifty cars and have
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: no issue, and you can't really teach that. So that's
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: where the community aspect comes to. Community for me is
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: common unity. So I want to gather all the people
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: who want to turn those liabilities into assets together so
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: we can be able to move farther together in this situation.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: That's the fact.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: So you know, in true Eyo fashion, you know, we
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: bring all kinds of entrepreneurs on and like a lot
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: of them have curriculums, whether it's MG the mortgage guy,
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: whether it's him five hundred Wall Street Trapper, and we
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: encourage that, you know, I love it. I get courses
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: all the time. The craziest thing in the world was
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: when Mark Cuban told me that he buys course. I
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: don't know if you watched that.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: He was like, that was a crazy shout out.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: Signed everything I've been saying, everybody tell me. It was
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: so crazy. When he said, I'm like asking him, like,
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: how many hours a day do you spend learning? He's
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: like all day.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: He's like I buy I buy books, I buy da
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: da da da, buy online courses and I'm like, you
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: buy it.
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: It's like, yeah, like I tap in.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: So I say that to say, you know, one of
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: things that we always you know, try to encourage entrepreneurs
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: when they come on the platform is to give a
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: special offer that nobody else has, you know, especially the
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: Eyo community, and that EJ obliged. So you set up
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: a website. The website is car Rental Game eyl dot
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: com and it's gonna be hundred five hundred dollars off
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: of the course. And once again, the course teaches you
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: everything you need to know to start a car rental business,
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: whether you actually want to have a whole fleet of
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: cars like he does, or whether you want to just
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: supplement your income and do and do you know just
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: the one car that you have, or whether you're trying to.
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: Live like me and go from New York to LA
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: or whatever your player is.
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: That's the great thing about this whole car rental place
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: space is that there's so many different plays for you.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: So if you're interested, you can go to car rental
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: game e y L dot com for five hundred dollars off.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: That's exclusive. You're not gonna find that price serve else
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: on the internet. It's the cheapest that you can possibly get.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: And yeah, if you're looking to invest in your education,
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: you can take it from there. Maddy J has been
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: a pleasure, my brother. What would you like to tell
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: the people social media handles.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: All of that.
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: Definitely I'm seeing J and I'm known as a digital
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: real estate investor. Right A lot of times we get
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: on social media or even when we buy website domains.
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: Domain literally means you own territory on the world wide Web.
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: So if you own territory on that worldwide Web, let's
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: be landscapers, can contractors, let's be investors and buy, fix, flip,
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: build different businesses on this worldwide web, so we can
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: create assets that we can also pass down. We already
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: know about the importance of real estate in the real world,
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: same thing in the digital world. So you can find
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: me on CEO medij, my Instagram handle Clubhouse, coo Maj,
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: even my website ceomaj dot com.
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: That digital real estate, like ben' that's crucial worldwide. Shout
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: out to bw O everybody else. Shout out.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: The guys.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, shout out to the guys man Troy Housekeeping item.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Shout to everybody on Patreon dot com.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: Y'all know that's ow proud to pay program to five members,
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: you have access to e y L University, the number

- 1:12:39Speaker 6: what you guys are doing is really special. Appreciate I
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: appreciate that.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: So we appreciate all y'all.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: Thank you, and shout out to Mattie too, because yeah,
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: he not only does he do car rental, he's actually
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: a renaissance man and he he created a whole curriculum
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: on uh for how to make your online university. And
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: of course you know we have e y L University.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: So when he was talking about the game on you know,
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: how to actually what he said made a lot of
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: sense was like, the model of education.
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: Isn't bad.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: Isn't bad, it's the implementation of it, right, You talked
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: about that a little bit before we leave.
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: Yeah that was a bar.
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: Yeah, it's because like a lot of us entrepreneurs, we
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: pooh pooh on traditional schooling systems. What we're really poo
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: pooing on is the curriculums. What they haven't been teaching us.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: The system in itself, it works. They have a grading system,
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: accountability system, they have mascots to help with the.
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: Feeling school spirit, school spirit. They have the orientation test, exams.
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: All those things allow somebody to move from first grade
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: to second grade, third grade, fourth and so on. But
- 1:13:45Speaker 7: as soon as we graduated out of high school, we
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: no longer had that system.
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: If you can go to college, it's.
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: More like freestyle. So we're all over the place freestyling.
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: So nowadays we shouldn't poo poo on college system. We
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: should just put who on a curriculum and that gives
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: Like nineteen said, we shouldn't be complain and it gave
- 1:14:00Speaker 7: us an opportunity to be able to teach it.
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: So we should be happy.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: But the structure of colleges, the structure of high schools
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: and school systems, still need to be in place. So
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: for all us educators in the infotainment space or the
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: entrepreneur space, we still need to model the things that
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: allow colleges to exist.
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: To this day, colleges are traditionally education is recession proof.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Keep real.
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: You can talk all you want about is.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: Go be here enfotainment.
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: Now, that's the fact.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: When you said that, it was like we already had
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: a lot of those systems in place, but even more
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: And when you told me that and then you showed
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: me the whole thing. I'm like, nah, this is definitely
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: something that and we've actually implemented a lot of those
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: things in the university. Like you said, I mean, it's
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: already one hundred years old. You don't have to reinvent
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: the wheel. You just have to actually take good. Everything
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: has good and bad. You take the good, you spit
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: out the bad, and then you put your your and
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: now you just have a better product.
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: Facts. So yeah, that was that was a.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Gym for sure to god man. You know well Ryal University.
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: Of course that's the premier premiss So yes, Mattie J.
